This was a really interesting activity during my recent visit to Kansas. I was able to walk in and buy a ticket for the Combo tour (Salt Blast Pass and the Salt Safari). Had about a 10 minute wait until they took us down 650 feet in a dark elevator. For the first half hour we were on our own to explore, look at the exhibits and watch the videos. Then we got on a small train for a narrated ride through the mine. Following that, those of us who chose the Safari were seated in a small electric cart driven by Larry. He took us all over the mine, telling us many interesting facts and stories and pointing out different things along the way. At one point we entered the non-electrified area, so no overhead lights. The only light was from the cart's headlight and the flashlights he gave us. The road was very bumpy but Larry is a very careful driver. This was the best part of the whole combo tour and we saw the mine as it was back in the 1940s and 50s - trash and all! A couple times we were allowed to get off the cart and pick up chunks of salt as souvenirs. Highly recommend touring Strataca, and if you're the least bit adventurous be sure to do the Combo tour!

This place is really fun and definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. We had tickets for 2 tours and the dark ride I think, and yes, in one tour and the dark ride, you are allowed at one time each to choose a rock from a pile that you can keep. Tour rock was to be no larger than a hard hat, dark ride no larger than your fist - or you could fill a small bag with rocks, which was actually better in this case because most rocks seemed too large. There are no bags to carry these rocks in and you will need to carry them around until you leave for the most part. There is a table you can leave them on while you continue to shop or explore, but there are no bags to store them in. Whole some information overlaps in tours and can get repetitive for folks who have been to each, they have their own charm, and I enjoyed them. We did learn a lot about the salt mines and the tour guides were all quite educational and friendly. The shaft to get down/up can be a little shaky and sometimes they leave the light inside off. We did on the way down and I felt a little dizzy after - they will turn it on if you ask, it's not a big deal. It was much better on the way up with it on. They have all sorts of events going on, and if we were closer, we'd definitely check them out. This place is worth visiting for sure. Children will find some enjoyment, though it is mostly a museum. The special events might be something they would enjoy more.

We had so much fun looking and learning about the mine and all the history. I recommend going on all 3 rides thru the mine. Be sure to get your rocks too! The museum was fascinating and don't worry if you don't have enough time to walk thru it before going into the mine, you will have plenty of time after. It's hard to believe you are 650 ft underground! This looks us a little over 3 hours. I will go here again if I get in the area again!

Strataca review WE GOT THE SHAFT!!! 😁 We went down a mine shaft today that is. Toured Strataca, a former salt mine section 650 feet below Hutchison, Kansas. Starting with a 90 second hoist ride down at 10:00 AM and ending with a 90-second hoist ride back up at 2:30 PM, we saw a lot of exhibits explaining the history and techniques of salt mining. The sections we were in were actively mined beginning in the late 1940's through the late 1950's. Active mining has been ongoing and continues to this day mining horizontally at the 650 foot depth. It's all connected, but the current active mining is now about 2 miles away from the section we were in. Besides walking in various exhibit areas, we also got to take 3 tram/train tours back through different sections. We definitely recommend doing the combo-pass to include the "salt safari". It was not "claustrophobic" as the mined sections were all about 50 feet wide and 10 feet tall. It is a consistently about 67 degrees down there every day all year round (very nice). These mines produce road salt, not table salt. One of the rules in the safety briefing was "Don't lick the salt." 👅 Sections of mined out areas are now used for safe, secure, climate controlled, dry storage (as salt naturally removes moisture from the air). We also got to see some of the storage area and some artifacts from movie companies that are stored here. A great experience and well worth the time and admission.

My wife wanted to go to this and I wasn't too excited about it to be honest. But when we got in 650 ft below the ground level and started looking around this is a really cool place. I would recommend anybody taking an afternoon to go in and checking it out. Lot of very cool history down here

We drove from Topeka Friday morning, June 20, 2025. We bought the Combo Pass which included the Salt Safari and the Salt Blast. We had a great time! It was nice and cool, 68 degrees, 650' underground. (97 degrees outside that day) The staff were all very friendly and well informed in all facets of the mine. The tram tours and train ride were fun and informative. Everyone has such a wonderful sense of humor! We also stopped by the gift shop and bought a couple of T shirts to have a remembrance of our time there. We would recommend adding Strataca to your bucket list!

Had a blast exploring this active salt mine with just a flashlight. You step back in time by visiting areas of the mine that were mined in the 40's & 50's. Everything is perfectly preserved as it was when the miners left that area of the mine. You can even experience total mine darkness, which is cool and creepy at the same time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Evan and Barry were our guides, they do a great job telling you the story of the mine as they take you back to the 1940s & 1950s. This gem is certainly worth a visit.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL zoo!! The entire zoo is very clean to include the bathrooms. There is a large assortment of animals to see & the animals appear quite healthy. There are bathrooms scattered throughout the zoo. A large amount of motorized scooters with and without shade are available for rental (in the $30 range for the entire day.) There are also motorized animals like the ones in malls for rent-I believe they were $26/hour. A cup can be purchased for $10 that gets you free refills for the day. We really enjoyed feeding the giraffes and petting & feeding the stingrays! Such a special place. We really enjoyed ourselves. Plan a whole day here so you can see everything!

Had a wonderful Saturday exploring the Sedgwick County Zoo with two friends! We booked our tickets online, which I highly recommend—it was simple and saved us $25 total ($5 per ticket) compared to the gate price. ​The zoo itself is beautiful and was decorated with these incredible, giant animal lanterns from some kind of special event. The snow leopard and butterfly displays we saw were a magical touch and made the walkways even more fun. We spent most of our day exploring the Africa, South America, and Australia sections, and the habitats are truly world-class. ​A few tips for your visit: ​Arrive Early! The zoo is HUGE. We weren't able to see the North America section because we ran out of time. To cover everything without rushing, I'd say the best time to get there is between 10 and 11 AM. ​Check for Closures: We were disappointed to find the Cessna Penguin Cove was closed for maintenance. It’s probably a good idea to check their website before you go. ​Animal Naps are Real: It was a sunny day, so the lion and tiger were snoozing in the shade, and we couldn't find the red panda. It happens, but if you want to see them active, an earlier or cooler day might be better! ​Even with the few things we missed, it was an amazing day out. It’s a top-notch zoo and a fantastic value.

My Service Dog’s first visit did not disappoint! Employees were knowledgeable upon our arrival and directed us in to receive his staff-shirt-colored bandana (unfortunately not a keepsake and must be returned upon exit) and map of restricted areas for him (not many, and each of the restricted buildings had a very clearly labeled sign for SD’s on the entrance). There are no dedicated relief areas but many grassy lawns with a cluster of trees or bench you can duck behind to be more discrete. It was so fun to see all the exhibits through my pup’s eyes. The “wild lights” statues and things were set up which made for twice as many cool things to look at in addition to the animals- highly recommend going during this time! Lots of animals were up close and/or moving- we had the luck of a warm but breezy day so no one was scorching, but you still want to wear sunscreen, pack water, and plan to walk! The Beastro makes for a great lunch midday- the Falafal Caesar Salad was surprisingly AMAZING! Thanks so much SCZ- we will be back! (We wish we could have kept our pup’s bandana as a memento! Please let this be an option next time- we would buy it if needed :)

I was visiting from out-of-state and had to go to this zoo. It was beautiful and did not disappoint! The animal habitats were nicely laid out, and animals could be clearly seen. The penguin encounter was closed due to new glass replacement, and the stingray exhibit was closed for the season, but everything else was great. It was pretty with the lantern decorations even in the daytime. I would also recommend the train ride.

Viewed the Zoo's seasonal lighting. Paid $16 for a ticket. Very nice, and plentiful displays. Most were animated and brilliantly lit. There are interactive games for children throughout the lights display; including an area with a lit see-saw, a pair of swings as well as a small fun house as well as a monster to interact with. These activities are for the young ones, but cool nonetheless. A bit of a line at the entrance, give we were there right at their opening time of six, but worth the short wait.

Really great zoo. My kids always have a great time going here. We saw an orangutan painting. Gorillas next to us and the elephants out n about on our train ride. We also saw some of the light exhibit. If you're ever bored, go here. $$$

What can I say about the local zoo? Lots of walking, plenty of things to see and do. Coming up on winter, many of the animals are off exhibit this time of year and there are many places under construction. However, the enclosures are generous, the staff is super friendly, and the overall traffic is pretty low so seeing your favorite animal is always easy...almost never more than a minute or two wait due to traffic. Wife and kids love this place, just make sure to pack some snacks if you're making a day of it. While the concessions are available, they're expensive for everything as it's a funding source for the zoo. Overall, it's a good time for the family and a great way to spend a day with the family if you grab the membership for the year like we do.

The Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene, Kansas is a truly worthwhile destination for anyone interested in American history. Situated on a lovely, well-maintained campus that spans several buildings, the site offers a comprehensive and engaging look into the life and legacy of Dwight D. Eisenhower. The museum itself is exceptionally well done, with thoughtfully curated exhibits and high-quality displays that cover everything from Eisenhower’s military career to his presidency and personal life. One highlight was the gallery dedicated to First Lady Mamie Eisenhower, which included a charming collection of her dresses and personal items, offering a more intimate glimpse into her life and style. Another standout feature of the visit was the opportunity to tour Eisenhower’s boyhood home. The house is preserved beautifully, and we were fortunate to have an excellent guide who provided informative and engaging context about Eisenhower’s early years. The staff across the campus were universally friendly and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about sharing Eisenhower’s story with visitors. To cap off the experience, visitors can pay their respects at the serene chapel on the grounds, where President Eisenhower, his wife Mamie, and their firstborn son are laid to rest. Overall, this is a rich and rewarding visit that combines historical significance with personal stories, making it a must-see for history buffs and casual visitors alike.

Wow, excellent place to visit! There is much to see and explore. We enjoyed seeing the boyhood home of Eisenhower. They do offer tours but we arrived too late in the day. The museum was well done and flowed well. We particularly enjoyed the several short films. You can also walk into the library, visit the prayer chapel where the president and his wife were interred. The visitor center is a nice stop too. We enjoyed picking up “I like Ike” pins and a few other unique souvenirs. Definitely an afternoon well spent for the whole family. Bonus: they have RV parking!!

We visited the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum because this past June was the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The museum is well done. History buffs and WWII buffs will really like it. For example, the museum has the table where Eisenhower and others planned D-Day. The museum also has the car used by Eisenhower in Europe. The best part was touring his boyhood home. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Although the library also had exhibits, we did not go to the library because of time constraints. We stopped into the chapel where General Eisenhower, his wife, and son are buried. We did not know about the introductory film in the gift shop and we did not have time to watch it once we learned about it. I suggest you start with the gift shop & watch the film. The price for the museum and boyhood home were very reasonable; $10 and $5 each (senior price purchased in advance). The price for most items in the gift shop was too much; e.g., a cotton throw for $70. Perhaps the gift shop did a price elasticity study but the prices did not seem worth it to me. Photos are allowed so I took a lot of photos. The grounds are beautiful. I suggest allowing at least 4 hours.

This museum was quite impressive. I will admit I did not know much about Dwight Eisenhower, aside from his WWII Command in Europe and his presidency. His museum was very well laid out and informative. We did not tour the library or house, but the meditation center/final resting place of the former president, First Lady and their oldest was a solemn and impressive spot. I learned so much about the man, his beloved wife and his humble beginnings. If you find yourself in Kansas, this is a must-see.

Extremely informative look at President Eisenhower’s life and the historical events throughout his time as world leader. His leadership throughout World War II is throughly explored. A great man and Kansan. There have been a number of updates to the museum that make it both more immersive and interactive. 10/10!

It was well maintained and very interesting to learn about this President and his impact on the country and world. Only sad thing is home is closed on Sundays

The Visitor Center is separate from the museum and the library. You can get your ticket at the visitor center and then watch a short film about Eisenhower's life. Then you walk to the museum to check that out. If you have mobility issues and need to limit your walking, I discovered from the museum staff that you can purchase your ticket online and then skip the visitor center and go directly to the museum. You have to make sure that you either print your ticket or you're able to show your ticket on your phone to the people in the museum. In skipping the visitor center, you will forgo the short film about Eisenhower's life but there are a number of films in the museum that you will be able to see once you get there. Nice museum with a lot of information about Eisenhower's military service as well as his focus on peace during his presidency.

Deanna Rose Homestead was the most amazing evening! The pricing was very reasonable, and everything was so well cared for. The grass, the animal areas, and even the tractors scattered throughout made it feel authentic and fun. The 18th-century recreated village added so much personality and charm to the experience. Truly a wonderful place to visit and worth every bit of 5 stars.

I usually write long reviews, but I’m going to try to keep this one short and let the photos speak for me. This place is amazing. It is magical. I could easily spend the entirety of my day here, every day. There is so much to see and to do. There are flowers and plants everywhere. There are something like fifty baby goats, maybe more?! So cute! And there are a ton of other animals, including a bald eagle, bison, prairie dogs, and a bobcat. You can mine for gemstones, you can watch the blacksmith work, visit the general store, go fishing, bottle-feed baby goats, attend live cow milkings, go on a horse-drawn carriage ride, visit an old schoolhouse, go on a hike in the woods, visit the herb and vegetable garden, bring a picnic, and more. (Some of the attractions carry additional costs.) We went during their free admission hours (Mon-Th after 2pm as of this review). It was really busy, but everything is so spread out that it didn’t really feel congested. We loved it. We spent two hours there and didn’t want to leave, but we had to go. Definitely add this to your MUST VISIT list whether you live in the KC Metro area or are just passing through.

Much more than a petting farm. Honestly better than some zoos I've been to. 5 bucks per person for 12 acres of well taken care of gardens and animals of all sorts, as well as a recreation of barns and 1900s buildings. Fun for all ages, even if you just want a nice place to sit and relax. Come visit and teach/learn a bit about nature and history, you won't regret it!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. A cozy venue for family entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit for the fall season and all of the attractions the farmstead had to offer. So many activities for young children that were both educational and fun. We loved the little Downtown area with all the whimsical shops to explore, as well as the miniature log cabin by the playground. Perfect for meeting up with some friends and walking around for a few hours. Our toddler had a blast and the walking paths were easy to navigate with our stroller and newborn.

My grandsons (7 & 8) and I visited a couple of weeks ago. They enjoyed looking at the animals and birds and LOVED the mining and fishing. They also said eating ice cream, drinking Bublee and talking while sitting on the benches outside of the ice cream parlor was a favorite part of their visit. The grounds are well kept and the farm is a great size for spending a couple of hours in.

This was my first time at Deanna Rose Farm! I have always heard about it since I was a kid and wanted to go here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They had many things to do it may not look like it at first, but you have to walk around more to see. The baby goats were friendly and easy to handle. The school house and other 1800’s structures reminded me of “Little House on the Prarie”and made me feel like I was back in time. Each staff member was very knowledgeable of everything. They had fishing, feeding baby goats, playgrounds, various animals. We got super lucky upon arriving and didn’t even have to pay to get in. Feeding baby goats cost $1 with bottles. Fishing cost $3.00. Bring coins if you want to feed any goat.

Had another visit to Deanna Rose Farmstead. Took my three grandchildren, ages 3-9. We had a blast. From the chickens, goats, and dairy cows.. and much more. We even stopped in for a movie that was very informative. We stopped into the barbershop and the Blacksmith area. Nicholas was the host for the blacksmiths presentation. He was very informative, knowledgeable, and held our attention. He kept the children engaged. Nicholas spoke at a pace the children could follow and understand. We enjoyed a cup of ice cream. The kiddos enjoyed feeding the baby goats and the park play area. It’s a summer time fun place to enjoy the animals up close and personal.

Besides the marvellous architecture and beautiful scenic view you get at this monument, to me this place is filled with emotions. The place reminds me of all the beautiful souls whose courage and sacrifice helped bring peace and stability that we are enjoying today. Each picture or artefact in this museum is filled with so much history, story, and emotion that I cannot describe; you have to visit this place to experience it. Also, don't forget to cherish the beautiful Poppy flower bed at the main entrance block and try to find out what it represents. In short, this place is where you can enjoy these magnificent monuments, get one of the best views of Kansas City, take beautiful pictures, learn and experience history, and pay respect to the brave and beautiful souls.

Impressive collection of artifacts from WW1 and massive amounts of information! The volunteers were very friendly and informative. This museum is very well done. From an artistic standpoint it has a unique design with Egyptian Revival and Art Deco elements. On a clear day, there are beautiful views from the top of the tower. There is so much to see it is hard to do it in just one day.

What a cool museum! Would be easy to spend a couple of hours there. So much history. A couple of places you walk over glass to read what's under, or see the poppies. Twelve minute info movie runs on repeat. Free parking. Beautiful park area. Tower view amazing. Ticket was $13. That includes main museum and tower. There was a private exhibit you could add on for $6 I think. I only had time for 2 areas. Gift shop and café inside as well.

This museum was absolutely amazing! There are so many artifacts amd so much information. The exhibits immersive. We spent 3 hours there at least. Going up in the tower was amazing as well. It was only $3 more.

The National WWI Museum and Memorial is an incredible experience powerful, educational, and beautifully designed. The exhibits are immersive and tell the story of the Great War through real artifacts, videos, and personal stories. The Liberty Memorial tower offers stunning views of Kansas City, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Plan at least 2 hours to really take it all in. A must-visit spot in KC!

This place and the city in general is beautiful. I didn't take any of the tours because I had my dog with me. I did go inside to ask questions about the outside architecture. Basically, it was built when Egypt was all the hype. The sphinx looking toward the west is a symbol of progress and I think they said the one looking toward the east is for a reminder of the past. The tall tower are the 4 guardians looking over everyone and each resemble something like Honor, Courage, Patriotism, and Sacrifice the virtues that protected the soldiers during W.W.I. I could be wrong about some of this info so its best to go and ask questions yourself. I also asked if the guardians were influenced by Greek or Roman gods because the Sphinx to me looks more like the Greek Sphinx and the historians told me no there is no link to Greek or Roman mythology. In my opinion the guardians look like Mercury or Hermes. Messengers of the God's. I like to think they are depictions of them, forever messengers of the past to remind us of a better future. Remind us what our ancestors fought for.

Worth visiting. Recommend getting the tower tickets with the museum ones combined, it's cheaper and hmthe views from the tower were spectacular. Museum was a great place to learn about the WW1 history!

Very elegant. Very well put together. Free admission. 14 dollar parking. After 30 minutes. Really a beautiful place to spend an afternoon with someone you love who loves art. It was worth the visit. I regret nothing. Thank you Kansas City for a wonderful experience.

Really cool museum with great outdoor views and space and paintings and art. The art is really awesome with some wonderful pieces. If you were there for a day you could see half of it. The cafe food is really good too with lots of pastries and lunch-brunch food that is really nice on a good day for a picnic. Mini putt is fun including the pieces in the holes. Really fun alone or with a whole family. really really fun.

One of the best museums I've ever been to boasting a wide variety of art and sculptures from around the World! Start off playing nine holes of mini golf which is so much fun! Then go visit the Museum to see all the treasures it has to offer! Then take a break and have a wonderful snack/lunch at the courtyard style Cafe in the Museum. Then back to explore the rest. A great way to spend a few hours if you love Art! Definitely a must visit!

I absolutely loved our visit here. We got to see Van Gogh paintings which we are huge fans of. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it. It’s free entry you just pay for parking and can donate which you get a wristband. Highly recommend.

There was plenty to see. Enjoyed seeing the different cultures that were on exhibition. Very beautiful building, clean restrooms, elevator access,huge outdoor open areas for sitting and relaxing. The only off putting thing was the employees , some of them weren’t very friendly. Other than that it was a nice experience. We visited from Omaha as we were in town visiting.

We spent over 3 hours and barely got through 1.5 floors. So much to see. The European impressionist art on level 1 was stunning. Took a quick break in the cafe Rozelle. Charming. The architecture of the museum building was as impressive as the collection. Modern collection impressive as well. We could have easily spent the whole day if schedule allowed. Admission is free. $14 to park.

An excellent museum featuring a stunning collection of artwork. The range is impressive — from American history to Chinese heritage — offering a well-rounded cultural experience that truly showcases art in its purest form. I highly recommend visiting, and be sure to explore every exhibit before you leave. With free admission, there’s no reason to miss this place.

Absolutely gorgeous state park. Lots of hiking trails into many beautiful areas. The castle ruins are super cool as well. So much to see from natural springs to natural bridges, little islands, scenic views, and rock formations.

Don't be discouraged that you can only see the water tower & carriage house from the parking lot. The castle is such a quick hike. 500 ft @ 5% grade. Not exhausting at all. So easily worth it & handicap accessible for all to enjoy.

A great park. Lots of hiking (lots of inclines on every trail it seemed also). The castle ruins and history is def something to see. I went Labor Day and while there were quite a few people out, it didn't feel crowded either.

We came here as part of my bachelorette trip and it was so fun! The castle ruins are awesome to see, and some of the overlooks are pretty amazing too! The path to the castle is paved and not too far! There are some other trails you can hike that are not paved as well.

Such an incredible park!! Hiking was great, walking paths so accessible for all. Park was stunning. Highly recommend when I the area. So peaceful and relaxing there.

The place was simply awesome! We had covered most of the trails and started at 9 am, ending up leaving at 6 pm. We were so tired, but it was a great experience and worth going for the good views, especially the view from the castle!

This place is super cool. Lots of walking trails and they tell you how long they are giving ya an idea of how long it should take and how bad they might be. Which is nice. The ruins were super cool. There just so big and they have little spots you can look over the water with benches. It's really cool scenery. We walked to the tower, the castle, the bridge and the spring. All very nice walks. It was cool seeing the turtles and the water snakes. There were also a few dogs and a puppy on the trail we got to say hi to so that's always fun. Just beautiful.

Like going back in time to a grade school field trip, learned a lot actually, well worth it if you have the time to read everything, $14 adults, $12 Seniors, $10 kids. I had no idea really how brutal life was just a short time ago , well kept and clean, polite informative staff. there was a lot of other people and I didn’t really get to take pictures of the inside of the tour, but I did get some nice shots of the river Park, which is a short walk and enjoy the scenery.

Had a great tour with Maddi. Visited the town and this was our favorite stop. She knows a lot about the cave and was very passionate about it. Thanks for such a great tour Maddi. She needs a raise. Always 52°F in the cave which makes it super nice year round. Hour long tour.

Cute little town on the Mississippi. We stopped here on our way home from trip out West. The historic town has a lot of beautiful building, it's an easy walk around the town to see everything. We went to Becky's Old Fashioned Ice Cream to treat ourselves, the Huckleberry flavor wonderful. A lot of Mark Twain references and memorabilia.

Well preserved boyhood home and a couple of other important houses, big drug store and a separate museum 3 blocks away. It is well worth the $15.

Very cute place you can walk around without having to pay to go into the museum. This is at the end of the street easy to miss if you're driving by.

Great find...staff is informative and very helpful. Lots of fun and informative information. Beautiful setting. Worth the drive to Mark Twain lake.

The tour takes you around much of the downtown area of Hannibal, MO. It's extremely informative and there is an optional spoken tour by way of QR codes for your smartphone and a pair of headphones (they sell some, if you forget yours).

The park is full of roller coasters and thrill rides. There's a kid's park also for the younger ones. Several restaurants and souvenir gift shops. Railroad and a water park with many slides, etc. The gift shops are reasonably priced. There were some rides and attractions not available due to lack of employees. The arcades, games, and claw machines are rigged, so don't waste your money. It's a very large park. There's a large amount of area to cover. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your sunscreen.

I took my kids and my sons best friend for my sons 8th birthday this year. It was the first time any of them had ever been and they had a blast! Fright fest scared the holy crap out of the kiddos! So much so my 14 yr old daughter was crying (she’s scared of clowns). We got there about 12:30 and stayed until 9:30. Earlier in the day is definitely the way to go with the rides! The lines are extremely short, if there is one at all! Which to me was one of the best parts! The closer it got to dark, the more crowded it became of course. We all had a blast and I can’t wait to take them back again soon!

My first Fright Fest experience was unforgettable. I took my kids and my friend, and from the moment we arrived, the park felt alive with a festive and slightly spooky energy. It wasn’t terrifying, which was actually perfect for younger kids, so they could enjoy the event without being overwhelmed. The rides at night completely transformed the atmosphere—they felt more thrilling under the glow of colorful lights, with the cool night air adding to the excitement. We laughed, screamed, and soaked in the Halloween vibe. Overall, it was an amazing family-friendly adventure!

This is the first year of our family going to six flags. We enjoyed the souvenir cup with refills. The food pass was alright because most of the food was not very good and toward the end of the year the portions were smaller. Weekdays were the best, weekends were packed. The water park had the lazy river shut down the whole summer. Other water slides and roller coasters were also randomly shut down. The park is old and has lots of rust and flaked paint which makes rides worrisome to ride. We paid over $800 for a family of 4 to get in the park, water park, 2 meals a day and unlimited drinks. We felt it should have been closer to $500 because of what we received. We will not be going back next year.

Great place! The BOSS is probably the best wooden roller coaster I've ever rode! Definitely a must ride! And Mr freeze reverse blast is incredible! Those 2 rides with cat women's whip is worth the trip!

This is a fun park with a nice variety of coasters and other rides to fit pretty much anyone who's willing to ride, there's also shows and a water park. For a true coaster lover like me, there's a lot to choose from and you can fill your day with a lot of totally different thrills, but if you prefer less extreme rides there's several coasters that are a little tamer. There's a good selection of flat rides, spinny rides, a few water rides, you name it. I felt safe, the park was clean, and the employees were helpful when I needed to ask a question. Overall I had a lot of fun and I hope people give this park a chance since it has some unique things that are not found everywhere else.

Kudos. Bravo. Way to go Six Flags team. We came to Frightfest and...wow! The park looked fantastic, the fog, the colored lights, the spooky sounds and roaming goons were amazing. And of course the rides were great too. The newly restored Carousel is amazing. We do believe we were the oldest Batman riders in line that night...we are 73 and 71! 🙂

I treat little Main Street! Wish more of the shops/restaurants were open during the evening, but it was still worth it to walk around a bit!

Very nice and well preserved historic center in the heart of Saint Charles, the first capital of the State of Missouri. Main Street is rich of historic brick buildings and still maintains its characteristic red brick pavement. Parking is generally available on the side of the road.

Old St. Charles is quaint and full of historical charm. The shops range from cute and quirky to artsy and beyond, with something for everyone, and there are many nice dining options along the entire length of the brick-paved streets. Great place for a lazy stroll and a day full of fun along the Missouri River.

Nice place to visit and walk around. Close to the lakefront and Lewis and Clark Boathouse.

A good mix of history, shopping and food. Nice flow, but car traffic can be intense at times. It would have a total different feel if there was no auto traffic, because you can't loose yourself in the time period with a late model car going by.....

I like to visit St. Charles Historic district and walk on Main street. On this place, a lot of small souvenirs shops could be visited. The unique architecture and atmosphere could be seen from attached photos.

We are from out of town— this Zoo is absolutely beautiful! Our son really enjoyed getting to see insects he doesn’t typically see at ours. Huge praying mantis, ginormous walking sticks, leaf bugs, it was a fun time! It was odd for us to pay for parking and enjoy the zoo with FREE admission since our local zoo is not that way. This zoo is big— so wear supportive shoes! St. Louis, you have a beautiful zoo with tons of neat animals, insects, reptiles, and amphibians!

Love the FREE zoo! $20 for parking and that's it!!! We enjoyed the friendly staff at the gift shops, seeing the animals, got 2 dole whips to share and they happily gave us empty cups and spoons to share. The animals were beautiful and fun to see. Great free time!

I was absolutely shocked how beautiful this FREE zoo is! Clean grounds, kind keepers, happy, healthy animals. Large and natural feeling enclosures. The bird building and enclosures were AMAZING. They just had these simple strings to keeps the birds contained but was easy to see though. Live plants filled the habitats. Photos do not do it justice. Definitely would visit again (from NY) -love a fellow zookeeper

One of the best zoo's we've been too. Best part is entry is free. Lots to see. Highly recommend riding the train. Bring a water bottle as in my opinion the drinks are high. They don't come with lids or straws and several exhibits do not allow any open drinks inside.

This was such an awesome zoo with so much to see and do. So many different animals and different buildings to go into, it is truly impressive considering it is free to get into. The paid things were definitely worth it, the Sting Rays, Seal show, train ride, and the 4H theatre. We went back for a second day, and stayed until close again.

One of the most spectacular zoos that I’ve ever taken my kids to! We’ve had a wonderful time it was very clean. Well taken care of the staff highly trained and very knowledgeable about all of the animals. We had questions about our. The foods were really good prices definitely wanna get there right when they open in summertime for sure we didn’t get to see all of the animals. Some of them weren’t out, but all around was a wonderful time. There took about five hours to see the whole zoo well worth the time. Highly recommend bringing your family to the zoo. Hope y’all enjoy the photos as we enjoy the zoo.

The place was super cool, me and my two friends went for about 4 hours, that’s about how long it took us to walk thru the whole zoo. Everyone was nice and honestly I don’t have any complaints. The food in the cafe in the north entrance was pretty good surprisingly. Some of the animals they had put away unfortunately but they still had a lot out so it was totally worth it. And the best part is really any age group can come here. We are 18-21 and it was still fun for us.

100% worth the money and the trip. Up to you if you pay the extra to go to the rooftop, its cool but so much to do on the other 4 floors even without it! My niece and nephew had a blast. I do advise packing some headlamp lights if you have them from camping (if I would have known i would have brought our from home -Indy) Im a bigger women 280s and couldn't fit everywhere but plenty of places to explore with the kids and had a blast and adventure with them. We would go back again and again. For the price, I bought the yearly pass (came with 2 extra tickets for this year - covered all 4 of us) for the kids and we hope to come back and will just have to pay for 2 tickets if we make it back.

What a neat museum! The kids LOVED climbing and crawling through the numerous tunnels. We paid to go onto the roof but didn't think that was necessarily worth the extra cost based on our interests. Some of the climbing tunnels were tricky for my 11 year old because he's getting so tall and his feet are too big to fit in some of the spaces for better footing. He still had a blast though. You could easily spend a whole day here. We got flatbread pizza and it was delicious! The flesh eating fish were a favorite for my family. The floor with the vault room had a nasty smell that made us rush to another area but other than that we really enjoyed our visit.

This was one of the coolest attractions we’ve ever been to! Our group was all adults age 28-50. So some of the more athletic elements were more challenging (and maybe we could have worn kneepads and better shoes…) we thought the rooftop, especially at sunset was well worth the upgrade. We got drinks and enjoyed the sunset from the roof. We did as much of the climbing around as we could! But it was nice that there was often left arduous options for those who wanted to participate but not exactly crawl and climb through tight passages. The pinball hall was also awesome!!! We could’ve spent hours there If you’re of drinking age, highly recommend finding the full service bar that’s tucked away on the first floor!

My kids 6 & 8 loved City Museum!! My 6 year old is a big climber and she was in heaven! Nearly every floor had a unique climbing opportunity for her. The caves, treehouse, and Monstro-City were the biggest hits with our crew. My 8 year old loved the tunnels on the first floor. He had a great time squeezing into small spaces and seeing where he came out. We spent 7 hours and did everything except the new Labyrinth area. It is definitely a full day activity. If we lived here, we would be back often! Knee pads were a great suggestion. Our only issue was the 2nd floor restaurant got behind at lunchtime and we had to wait 30min for our food. The restaurant staff was struggling and their attitude did not reflect good customer service.

A Surreal Playground for Grown-Ups (Kids Allowed😉) City Museum is one of those places that makes you stop mid-crawl and think, “This should not exist… and yet it does.” I learned that the hard way when I got myself wedged into one of their tiny funnel tunnels — 5-year-old spirit, 52-year-old body, 52-centimeter hole. Hysterical, humbling, unforgettable. The rooftop is absolutely worth the extra charge. Between the skyline views, the full-sized bus dangling over the edge, and a Ferris wheel in the clouds, it feels like you’re inside someone’s beautifully unhinged dream. Despite looking like a children’s playground, this place is really an adult playground where kids are welcome. Millennial and Gen-X nostalgia runs wild. Think Willy Wonka + the Haunted Mansion + Meramec Caverns. My most transported moment? The insectarium turned into a haunted maze for Halloween weekend — no scare actors, just pure eerie atmosphere that hit me right in the childhood. The whole museum made me laugh, climb, crawl, tense up, and grin like I hadn’t in years. If City Museum were a feeling, it’d be straight-up euphoria. I’ll be back — with a whole crew.

6 hours of pure bliss! Climbing, sliding, looking, playing, touching, exploring and learning all while having fun. Take your knee pads, lock up your bags and have fun. Got separated from my munchkin but security put out the alert and we were united quickly. Drinks and food expensive but tasty. We were both exhausted at the end of a fun day.

So fun! Our kids (4-8) could have spent hours here. As an adult there’s a lot of places I don’t fit but this would have been a dream for me as a kid. So many places to climb and explore. If you have young toddlers it will probably feel like a nightmare to keep track of them though because some tunnels you don’t know where they go. I think 4, almost 5 is the right age to be able to let them loose, especially if they have an older sibling to follow around. We did the ultimate combo which included the rooftop and the pinball hall. That was not really necessary. For some reason I thought the pinball hall was something more imaginative then just 20 pinball machines in a little roped off area- it’s not. And half of them didn’t work. Even if you love pinball I’m guessing there are more fun places to do that. The rooftop is alright- there’s a few slides open (and a few were closed) and a precarious Ferris wheel (that I’m sure was safe but made me nervous) but it was very hot and I’m not sure worth the extra cost- the kids would have had plenty of fun in the main building and still wouldn’t have gotten bored. I would recommend the standard ticket unless you just really want to go to the roof. Also- don’t miss the circus show!

The museum was very educational and informative and enjoyable. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the displays were laid out well. The tram ride to the top of the Arch was a unique experience too (not for the claustrophobic for sure). The time at the top is just about right, you take pictures out both sides (although the Illinois view is a bit bland). The tram ride down is a bit quicker and then you climb the stairs and head out right at the base the Arch for more pictures.

The Gateway Arch is an architectural wonder and true marvel—absolutely breathtaking up close. The way the sunlight glints off its sleek, curved metal exterior is stunning, and those tiny observation windows near the top are barely visible from the ground, adding to its mystery and beauty. Once inside, the tram ride to the top is a one-of-a-kind experience. The small, capsule-like pods are definitely close quarters—so if you're claustrophobic or afraid of heights, it may be a challenge. That said, I found it comforting that there are windows in the tram doors, and I could see the emergency staircase the entire way up. The motion of ascending and curving over with the structure was unlike anything I’ve ever done. At the top—wow. The observation area is smaller than I expected, and yes, you can feel a gentle sway. But that only added to the thrill! We were lucky to visit on a clear, sunny day, and the views were absolutely spectacular—panoramic scenes of St. Louis and the Mississippi River. Afterward, we relaxed on the lawn beneath the Arch, looking up in awe and snapping some of our favorite photos of the day. Truly an unforgettable experience!

We decided to check out the St. Louis Arch and went all the way to the top. The ride up is definitely an experience — you’re crammed into a small capsule with 4 or 5 other people and there’s absolutely no view on the way up. If you’re claustrophobic, I wouldn’t recommend it. Once at the top, you get about 10–14 minutes to look around. Honestly, that’s all you need — the view is nice, but it’s a quick visit. The area below ground was actually more interesting to me. There’s a museum with a lot of history and facts about the arch and the area. One important thing to note: St. Louis outside the downtown/tourist area can feel very rough. We accidentally took a wrong exit and ended up in a not-so-great neighborhood — and that’s coming from someone who grew up in a tough city. Stick to the main paths, and plan your route carefully. Overall, worth doing once for the experience, but be prepared and know what to expect.

Major shout out to the Gateway arch, and those that maintain the grounds and Parkway area. You guys are truly set in the bar for excellence with regards to customer service the gateway, arch, a spectacular architectural wonder it is an absolutely musty. It is literally the gate between the west and the east and everything in between if you’re headed westbound to California and you’ve never seen it it’s a must see if you’re heading home California back to Chicago. It’s a must see whether it’s day or night. I’ve come here multiple times traveling westbound to California or return trips from California traveling east to Chicago still need to experience that tram ride going to the top. So I have to plug that into the itinerary for next time.

Started out with coffee at the Arch watching the sun rise. The park surrounding the Arch was busy with people jogging and walking the trails all throughout the park . Great views by the river and amazing views in the green zones in the park. Took the tour to the top of the Archand it was awesome. Amazing views and awesome history. If you're up for a great adventure into history with amazing views this is truly a place for your things to visit.

This was our first visit to the Gateway Arch so we purchased tickets to do everything including the boat ride. We also purchased the suggested parking package for 5 hours at the Stadium East garage. Maybe if the parking were 6 hours instead of 5 that would have been perfect! We did have enough time to do all the activities as scheduled, but that didn't leave us enough time to explore the museum. I wish we had enough time to go back, but not sure when we'll make it back to Missouri. If we had enough time to see everything this would be 5 stars. We really enjoyed the tram ride and the documentary movie. The virtual reality movie was a cool experience. The website talks about 6 flights of stairs for the tram ride so we were worried about our 80+ parents doing that. It's 3 flights down, then 3 flights up so in hind sight they probably could have done it. The customer service at the Arch was wonderful. They promptly answered questions I had emailed them, and when I had to call to make changes to our tickets (due to one travel party member's medical issue) they handled it quickly and easily.

An absolute must-see, one of the best museums I've ever been to. It was both interesting and entertaining, thanks to the wax figures and overall staging. Tons of good ideas. Don't miss Ghosts of the Library, it's amazing. I'd advise to allocate 2-3 hours to your visit.

A wonderful and educational experience for the whole family! I took my children (ages 9, 10, and 13), and they absolutely loved it. The exhibits are so engaging and interactive that they stayed interested the entire time — and they actually learned a lot about Abraham Lincoln and our nation’s history. The museum does an amazing job of bringing the past to life in a way that’s both fun and meaningful for kids and adults alike. Everything was clean, well organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We left feeling inspired and impressed — highly recommend visiting if you’re anywhere near Springfield!

I visited with friends and we had the absolute best time learning all about Abraham Lincoln. This was my second Presidential museum and I found it very insightful, informative, and overall intriguing to take my time going through each of the available exhibits. The staff and security were friendly and attentive to all of the people (and school groups) there in attendance on the day we visited.

The museum brings Lincoln’s story to life in such a vivid, immersive way — from his humble beginnings to his presidency and the Civil War. The exhibits are beautifully curated and emotionally powerful. Whether you’re a history buff or just curious, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation of Lincoln’s enduring impact. Just a few blocks away, we walked the same brick streets Lincoln did at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site. Touring his home and the preserved neighborhood truly made history feel alive. The park rangers were knowledgeable and passionate, sharing stories of Lincoln’s family life and his rise in politics. It was surreal to stand where the “Great Republican Rally” was held in 1860 right in front of his house. If you’re in Springfield don’t miss this powerful and inspiring stop — it’s a must-see for all Americans.

Very nice museum, enjoyable for people of all ages. You will feel transported back in time if you also tour Lincoln’s home during your visit.

Great museum that let's you walk through the stages of Abraham Lincoln's life. Recently added AR features are a nice way to keep children entertained while learning at the same time

Being a state-run attraction, the Abraham Lincoln President Library Museum is open during the federal government shutdown. This museum was really nicely organized. We went through only a portion of the full museum, the hall that showed Abe's early years up to his election, and the hall that showed his years as the president. The exhibits are really well done, with a lot of eye opening descriptions. Everything is on one level, so it's easy for the mobility challenged to move through the halls. They have a nice cafe, about $15 per meal.

We highly recommend arriving early as only a limited number of visitors are allowed per tour. It is not unusual to have to wait more than an hour or two for the next available tour. We arrived about a half hour before opening and there was already a group of visitors waiting for the NPS to unlock the door. Please note, though the museum and house tour are free, there is a fee for parking in the lot, it is self-pay through a machine, and we overheard they will not validate, though on street parking is free if it is a weekend. We had a fantastic National Park Service tour guide who delivered a well-paced and engaging narrative about the history of the home and the era in which the Lincoln family lived there. They also impressed us with their knowledge, confidently answering every question a visitor asked. There are many original personal artifacts from the Lincoln family on display inside the home and the railing inside the house is still original, meaning your hand will be touching the same railing the Lincoln’s touched countless occasions in a time so far removed from now. Don’t forget to tour the grounds and enter the other homes in the neighborhood. There is a luxury three-seater out house in the back yard that is quite interesting. (I can’t imagine.) If you love NPS sites, historic homes and/or past presidential history this should be on your bucket list.

We visited the Lincoln Home National Historic Site. They weren’t open for tours of the house when we went, but we still had a great time walking around, reading the history signs, and taking it all in. It’s so interesting to read about the people who used to live in Lincoln’s neighborhood. Such a beautiful area — especially in the fall with all the colorful trees. Definitely one to add to your bucket list if you haven’t been!

“A powerful step back in time – more than just a museum.” Visiting the Lincoln Home was one of the most meaningful experiences I had in Springfield. This is the actual house where Abraham Lincoln lived for 17 years before becoming the 16th President of the United States — and it’s been beautifully preserved. The guided tours are free (you just need to pick up a timed ticket at the Visitor Center), and the park rangers do a great job telling stories not only about Lincoln’s political life but also his everyday family life. It brings history alive in a very personal way.

Visiting the Lincoln Home in Springfield, IL was a truly memorable experience. Nestled in the middle of two preserved city blocks, the setting does an incredible job of transporting you back to the 1800s. The surrounding neighborhood, with its old roads and period homes, really helps set the stage for the life and times of Abraham Lincoln. It felt like stepping into a living piece of history. There is a wealth of information available not only about Lincoln himself, but also about the people and community that surrounded him. The exhibits and guided tours provide great insight into the social and political atmosphere of the time. It’s not just a house—it’s a deep dive into the world that helped shape one of our nation’s greatest presidents. Walking through Lincoln’s actual home and standing in the same rooms where he once lived was surreal. Many of the furnishings are original, and seeing his personal letter desk—shockingly small!—was a humbling reminder of how much was accomplished from such a modest space. It’s a quiet, powerful experience to be in a place that holds so much historical significance. This site is a wonderful destination for both adults and younger visitors. It’s the perfect place to help expand young minds and give them a tangible connection to history. Plus, here’s a fun fact I didn’t know until this visit—Lincoln loved cats and used to bring strays home regularly. That little detail just made him feel even more real. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Springfield area!

This is a fantastic way to see into the life of Abraham Lincoln. The park guide was very knowledgeable. They have actual pieces of their furniture, books, stove, and artifacts that belonged to the Lincolns. The tour lasts about 30min but they have an entire neighborhood you can explore. You have to be able to climb stairs and fit in small spaces to go inside the house.

Lovely area with pictoral exhibits outside, but the Visitor's center was closed. No warning, no sign, just locked doors. There were at least 5 other couples wondering why it was closed, just like us. We're thinking it was because of the Government shutdown, but they could have at least posted a sign on the door.

Wonderful place to visit. Well done NPS! Make sure you see the film in the visitor center. Very good! Also check out the Dean House where you can see three different scale models of the home, each depicting different stages of renovations theLincolns did.

Halloween Holiday World always great! Best surprising things from visit: garlic cheese curds from Gobblers hamburger stand, awesome! Pay the up charge and enjoy! Halloween funnel cake flight (x3): super yummy! Pecan funnel cake, the best. Gravy boat ride: super long wait but still surprisingly fast and exciting (my first time riding). Corn maze: wow! Really, take time and do this. You won’t be disappointed. Dino drone show: once again, WOW! Really fun to watch. Only sad thing: no raspberry or cherry underly ice cream available. ?? And that was really disappointing to me and my family. And lastly, enjoy the fall decorations and flowers, they are lovely.

We felt like we had stepped back on time and we loved it. The park was so clean and well maintained. The different holiday themed areas were well thought out. They have free unlimited beverages for the guests and it was the best feature I've ever seen in an amusement park. They also had ample smoking areas and bathrooms for guests. We loved our adventure here and will definitely be back to check out the waterpark. I dont think we waited more then 20 minutes in any line we stood in.

Amazing for 6, 4, and 2 year old! Seriously pleasantly surprised by how perfect this venue is for little kids and without much planning. We spent 11am to 8pm there and then watched the light show from the car, as we wanted to see it from the park but the kids were tired. Noticed cars line up on the side of the highway just outside the park. When in rome? No regrets!!! Highly recommend on Halloween weekend. It was 50s and 🌥️. We tackled (in order): Lewis and Clark trail, carousel, firecracker, liberty launch, Holliday Halloween express, Fun town (where we ate), Howler, Kittys Tea party, Eagle Fright, Dino Corn Maze, The Voyager (6 yr olds first coaster as she’s over 48”), a few gift shops, Perky Turkey, Gobbler Getaway. Wish we would have saved some time for their Thanksgiving dinner meal at Plymouth Cafe, but started heading out at that point. Soooooo worth it. Core memories made 💕🎢🦖🦕🎅🍂🌽🦃🇺🇸🌭

We had a wonderful time. I rented a cabana near the wave pool. It's a very fun park with attractions for everyone to enjoy. Loved the free soda and suntan lotion. Rode the loved Cheetah Chase. Loved it as well as the Mammoth. It's pretty intense for a water ride. Challenged my 7 year old granddaughter on the racing slides. She loved that. Rode the Voyage and the Legend. Pretty intense coasters but fun. Overall highly recommend this park.

Absolutely LOVED this theme park. There is so much fun to be had between traditional roller coasters and the water park section. We rode pretty much every ride, the lines aren’t crazy long like at other theme parks. The cost of admission is also affordable compared to other major theme parks, they also offer nursing discount, wonderful perk. The rides are so much fun, I love the holiday themed lands. It’s a unique theme park perfect for the family, however, a lot of the rides are for older kids, so I recommend it for older kids. Can’t wait to come again!

One of the best parks we have been to. The water park was clean and had some amazing water rides. The lazy river is not the greatest, but the rest makes up for it. The theme park was clean and had an enjoyable environment. The themed areas were entertaining and well decorated. There were different level rides for all ages. The large wooden coasters are some of the best in the country, but are a little rough to go on. The steel coaster located in the back of the park was the smoothest rollercoaster I've ever been on. We will definitely go back!

Went to the Holiday World Halloween events over this past weekend with the wife and enjoyed our time there. We had the Twilight Tickets which gave us the opportunity to go in Saturday night to watch the Drone Show and then spend the day Sunday at the park. *NOTICE* If you buy this ticket online, you will need to wait in a line/go to Guest Services to get a print out of your Twilight Ticket part for Saturday Night for entry, not the mobile ticket that was provided. Park is crowded in parts (to be expected) with hills that seem to go uphill both ways so be prepared for that. Food choices are typical for a theme park as are the prices (a little high but fair). We enjoyed the adult beverages at the Witches Brew but also plenty of Pepsi Oasis locations to get water/Gatorade/Soda for FREE. Rides had wait lines that went fairly quickly on Sunday but Saturday longer waits happened at the bigger attractions at the park. We enjoyed the bigger wooden roller coasters. Voyage is AMAZING while The Raven, for a smaller Wooden Coaster, beat us up worse than it did. This park is great for all ages with plenty of options from guests young to older. Overall 5 stars will have to visit again in the future.

I’ve been coming to French lick for 35 years. It is an absolute, fantastic getaway, beautiful scenery, beautiful buildings, beautiful gardens. The pools are phenomenal. The service is great.

Walk up to French Lick and step back in time. Walk in to the Casino and enjoy the glamour of Vegas without the overcrowded smut. Enjoy a round of golf and take the Trolly to West Baden Springs Hotel. It’s a great time for the whole family

Not sure when French Lick was built but when driving up it's a beautiful building and very welcoming... Walk up the steps and a large what seems wrap around deck with plenty of seating then into the hotel entrance and just high end, old school but elegant and stunning as you walk to the check in desk, staff throughout the hotel and casino are great!!! Rooms are small but very cool with the age and very clean property overall, seems with the rooms all of the out dated and old school showers to sinks and furniture just really works with the hotel vibe... Long hallways to get to your rooms and the elevators go to certain areas and not others so pay attention lol... Great indoor pool with a dolphin statue water spout and walk just outside to a good sized in ground hot tub that's not too hot but right around 100° I would say and gets the job done... Walk to the far end and down the stairs into the casino entrance; small casino but slots, blackjack and other table games, drinks don't come around too often and it's not Vegas so they aren't free lol

Well it is a nice place to visit, it is far away from most large city and Interstate highways.

The Hotel is Spectacular! The long rich history is amazing. It's like going back in time. BUT, the present Amenities we have all become accustomed to. We went to the Shaggy Concert while staying at Hotel. It was so AWESOME!!! There was a golf tournament going on the same weekend but there never seemed to be a bunched-up crowd. The property is so vass. I most definitely recommend visiting!!

Golf was great , food was okay , However worst casino in Indiana for payouts ! We have been to many this year and by far French Lick was the worst for payouts of any kind. Hardly saw any hand pays . Spent a few thousand but the slots are so tight you will not win. Last visit here. Terre Haute and Belterra had the most payouts this year and we traveled to many casinos in Indiana so we would know what the best was . Actually to rate them for our knowledge and that of our friends.We even had staff tell us that things have turned from bad to worse. Graded a D - for Indiana Casinos !

A lovely state park. If you enjoy hiking and difficult bike trails, this is the park for you! If you want a more leisurely experience, the lodge and cabins are great and it has the aquatic center which is a big hit. Town is close and full of great shops and restaurants. We love camping here and actually just rented the recreation building to have our wedding in! It was wonderful

Brown county is a must go spot for Fall and beware everyone goes there for Fall! Last weekend was very crowded taking about 30 minutes just to cross the entrance. Past the crowd, the views were everything! It was eye candy and so worth the traffic, wait time and people. The park itself is very huge and has a couple entrance points and is well maintained. We hiked the Straul Lake hike and it’s an easy 1 mile hike which had exceptional views- I just couldn’t stop looking! The lookout points are another easy way to stop and click pictures, enjoy the views and just relax. Beware that internet depending on your provider can be hard to find. All in all brown county is a name for a reason. So worth the hype!

We brought our kids here to go camping for a couple of nights mid-week. It was awesome! We have camped at a couplecof other places, but the Taylor Ridge campground was really nice. The spots are a little tight with all of the trees, but it really feels secluded. The bath house was clean and well stocked. It rained about half the time we were there, but when we were able to get out, my kids had an absolute blast. They loved the nature center and we were able to go on several trails that were perfect for them. Everybody was really sad when it was time to leave this morning. We are looking to go back as soon as possible!

From views as far as the eye can see, to the endless smells of nature. Had a wonderful day with my roommate at Brown County State Park. I recommend using the restroom prior to hiking. The trails are relatively easy to follow. Got off track once, had help from one of the workers to pick it back up. Hospitality of the employees were great. They have a couple of fire watch towers, just note they are closed at the top. Still can appreciate the view from the highest point. Would recommend & looking forward to going back.

So nice to return to this grand state park after a 13 year hiatus. Was surprised at how lovely the 7 Vista Challenge was - the views were spectacular and I ended up stopping at more vista points than required because it was so interesting to read the signs and learn more about the park. Hiked on numerous trails which provided lots of challenge (love how the locals pass me with ease as I huff & puff up the ravines) ... Both lakes were spectacular to see at this time of the year with the leaves changing color. We camped on-site and found all of the facilities clean & in working order. All of the DNR staff was super helpful. The Nature Center here was chock full of great information about the local habitat, flora, & fauna. While I have no interests in snakes, it was helpful seeing the real deal with the 2 venomous snakes at the Nature Center so I knew what to look out for on the trails.

Beautiful, even when it sleets on you while hiking! I can see how this would get crowded during peak fall foliage! Beautiful place. The lodge had delicious smells emanating from it! 🥰 The mini water park looks nice, though it can't handle large numbers, it still would be fun!

Wow! The newly renovated floorplan is incredible. The detail and displays are easy to read and purposeful to the history of the track. I felt like I connected to the history of the track through the museum. The movie displays stimulating and felt like I was there. The new STEM/kids area is really for all ages and does an exceptional job bringing the racing experience to your finger tips. Plan extra time for thus area. And the top floor is a tribute to the best of the best showing off race suits and trophies. This truly is a key part of American history as well as the commitment to excellence.

WOW. As a lifelong motorsports fan, I've always enjoyed visiting IMS, though it had been years since I visited the museum. After the recent renovation, this is easily the BEST museum for racing fans everywhere. The exhibits are fantastic, it's spotless and well-laid out, and had a large section for interactive activities (including a bank of simulators)! Best of all though - there was a TON for our young kids to do! A small play area for toddlers, interactive games, and an entire room dedicated to STEAM activities. We got a discount for admission from our local library, but I would have easily paid full price. The IMS staff were so incredibly nice, and were very helpful and chill, even with our crazy 18-month-old running around yelling "CAR!" constantly. Well done, IMS! We will be back!

Loved it! It's an immersive experience that's well laid out in a modern and very clean facility. For a true racing fan, this is a must-see, especially as it contains so much history and includes not only IndyCar and the Indy 500, but also a NASCAR feature that depicts the history of the Brickyard 400. It is my understanding that the NASCAR display is not a permanent fixture in the museum. However, in my opinion it should be because it features IMS in a broader sense... especially since so many visitors only know it for the Indy 500.

My husband loved touring the museum and seeing all the cars they have on display. I’m not much of a race fan or car enthusiast but found the history very interesting. We spent about an hour touring all three levels. They were testing on the track while we were there, so no track tours that day, but we plan to come back and actually tour the track via golf cart.

This was one of the best museum experiences of my life with the interactive race car stations and the interactive tire removal and seeing all the assembly disassembly visuals in all of the cars and it’s an absolutely pristine condition. The work that they did inside the place is the best museum quality I’ve ever seen bathrooms were absolutely showpieces not to mention they were clean as all get out and the staff inside the museum either from the museum foundation or the Roger Penske team were just magnificent. You have to go and see this

This place was full of racing history. I loved the short video presentation. Was an emotional experience for me. Took the podium tour and got our picture taken on the victory podium. They have all sorts of race cars and race memoriblia to see. Would recommend this place to any race fan.

This was one of the coolest displays of race cars Ive ever seen. There is so much to look at. They even have interactive displays to change tires and fuel for a simulated pit stop. Also simulated driving is very real feeling. Lots of amazing race cars over the years are in here. Many trophies rings racing suits and helmets. This is a multi level building with so much racing history. If you have a love for Indy car racing this is a must see.

Very good and large museum for all ages of children. It's interactive and knowledge sharing for children. It's great place to take your children here. You must have enough time in hand to see indoor as well as out door facilities. Nicely made museum.

This was probably the highlight of our trip! We spent 6 hours here and recommend planning for a full day here. We bought tickets in advance and took a look at all the exhibits ahead of time so we weren't overwhelmed on where to start. This museum is great for families with kids of all ages. It is super stroller friendly with the ramp to get from one floor to another. You were never more than a tiny walk to a bathroom, great diaper changing areas, water bottle refills, and benches. The Playscapes area was great for our toddler to run around and burn off some energy. All three of our kids loved the outdoor sports exhibit! They played hockey, baseball, football, basketball, took a lap around the mini speedway, and climbed through the tree! This place has it all. The cafeteria was excellent for lunch and has a highchair. Lots of great learning and core memories made here! Cannot recommend enough!

Great immersive museum for children. There’s areas for babies and under 5 and then areas meant for kids 8-9+ and plenty for adults to see as well. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold so we missed the outside sports area, but it looked very fun. The blown glass sculpture and water clock were were impressive, as were the large dinosaurs inside and outside. Free parking was great, but I wish adult admissions weren’t so expensive or perhaps a discount for second parent to offset the price. It was around $90 for our family of 3. If we lived closer we’d definitely become members.

The 3 little ones and some family really had an amazing time at the Museum. They were able to create(color) their own dinosaur and watch it come to LIFE! They tried the outdoor sports center and went up the huge treehouse! Enjoyed playing music and seeing all of the different exhibits. They had a great time and absolutely LOVED it!

The best Children's Museum I've ever been to. They have everything and its hours of fun for every age. We have a membership so we can dig deep in different areas and never feel like we have to do the whole Museum in a day! Every staff member I have ever seen has a smile on their face and is so helpful and caring. When my 3 year old was throwing a tantrum about leaving, several staff members asked if she was ok and if there was anything they could do to help.

Super cool experience and highly recommend! Going on Thursdays at 4 pm will get you a big discount on tickets. Is a great place for children to be children and explore a safe space where everything is touchable.

My family has always wanted to try this museum but the timing never worked out until yesterday! We went on a summer weekday when some Indiana schools were already in session. We went with 4 adults and three kids ages 4, 9 & 11. We bought tickets in advance and parked in the free covered lot. Entry was a breeze and my kids immediately found activities to interest them. We ate at the museum and the food was good (better than many other museums) and very good choices. Prices seemed fine. We were busy from 11-3 and then had to leave but missed two floors! I think my 11yo might be aging out but anyone into sports or solving mysteries would still love it! I would go back! The special Peru exhibit was our favorite, followed by the sports area and the Rube Goldberg Machine.

My first time going & it was fun. I came on a Tuesday but I still won $3K & spent $500. I guess that’s a win. On a Tuesday night the employees and the people that met. They were very nice even though it’s a smoking area. I’m not a fan of that. But the place does look nice and I’m definitely wanting to come back but on the weekends.

Had a quick trip to the casino after a round of golf. Had a 30 minute session playing 3 card poker. Lost $30 quick bite to eat and picked 1 slot machine to play on my way out. Everything was great, clean restrooms, friendly staff. Would go back again but you have to learn how to come and go quickly in my book 😁

I freely admit that I am not really a gambler so I can't pass judgement on the quality of gaming. There is a pretty nice free drink service and places to sit down and enjoy your beverage near the Sidewalk Cafe. The SC is, in my opinion, too expensive and not very delicious. Regrettably, the buffet is long gone. It was one of the pleasures of a casino visit. I find the air conditioner turned up too high but I suspect that it must be done to keep the machines cooled. The background music is pretty good but at times, a bit too loud for my tastes. Finally, the staff is calm and professional but not all that cordial. Pro Tip The grounds and racetrack area are great for a nice stroll. For dining, you might consider the nearby McDonald's for a cheap meal or go into Shelbyville to try out the outstanding Cow Palace.

The casino is easy to find, right off the main road. It seems really big from the outside. Theres table games, slot machines, high limit room, few places inside to eat, a self serve soft drink/coffee station, a cashier booth and players card booth. If course bars to. Only a few ticket casher machines. There was quite a few machines that were down, off, or not working. Just like most casinos (especially the ones owned by Caesars) not alot of wins or free spins and I bounced around and played many different ones. Plenty of outside parking and garage parking that was very full. Overall it's not bad nor great just somewhere to go and press your luck. Oh, the bar drinks are pricey a jack n coke is $9.00

I have been here several times and for the most part had a good experience although I have found that the majority of dealers at the black jack tables are not friendly. What I mean by friendly is somewhat of a positive attitude not just dealing in a rush. . Almost like they hate their jobs. Each dealer is a different experience. Tonight was a total poor experience . The entire crew seemed to be new and unfortunately only one had a positive reaction with the people at the tables I played. I was there 5 hours and only 2 times was I able to get a drink at the table . The restrooms were a mess. No towels in containers, leaks in urinals and urine all over the floors. Slow service at the small restaurant. This is my first experience with such a poor atmosphere. I gave it 4 based on past experiences as well. If I gave it based on this experience it would be very low. I love coming here and will give it an another visit and hope it was just an off day. I don’t go just to win I go to enjoy the people and atmosphere.

Love the place took me awhile to learn to come out a little on top of the game,I enjoy playing the slots,and getting all the perks free slot play, meals, and all types of gifts, having fun and relaxing but most of all I love hitting a occasional Jackpot, or going home ahead with a Little chunk of $. But hate donating to the damn place. can't go giving all your cash away, and go broke, take their money and keep yours , you play the game don't let the game play you. Know when to hold them and when to fold them , if the bell's aren't ringing and spins not hitting move on . I don't do to bad very much, but have had bad days and couldn't hit any bonuses, which sucks ! But also stuck $20 in a slot beating $1. - $2. a spin and hit a bonus on the second or third spin ,for some good cash . Just don't take more money with you than you can afford to lose.my best advice is leave credit and debit cards at home . I learned my lesson that is for sure.

The staff was very friendly. Loved watching the races. Outside seating for the Indiana Derby was not readily available. Bring your own seating.

This review is strictly for the horse racing track, I have not been into the casino yet. I had a wonderful time watching harness racing at Hoosier Park. I've been to lots of Thoroughbred races before, but this was my first time seeing harness racing live. The track was setup nice. You can get right down on the rail at the finish line. The staff were all friendly.

Been here waiting for at least 30 mins to get this issue fixed. Found a staff walking around and said he couldn't help, got to wait for someone to come. Place is definitely understaffed. Edit: Woah! Ended leaving the machine as it was taking forever, but a fellow patron walked up to me at a different slot machine, completely different area, after like 2 hours later to let me know staff had taking fixed the issue and a voucher should be with the security. Super cool! Place may be understaffed but the customers are all super cool!. 3 stars now for amazing folks here

I went here around my birthday and had some fun. The casino itself is pretty nice. They have a good variety of different games to play. I like how close the location is to me so I don’t have to drive hours to get to it. I’d say my biggest complaint would be that there were a lot of cigarette butts left sitting on the slot. Some weren’t even In try’s. They were just left on the machine. Also in the same vein it smelt heavy of cigarettes in there. But other than that it’s a decent casino.

This has been a great place to visit. I enjoy just taking 20 bucks and trying my luck. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don't. The atmosphere is great, it's clean, and have had some amazing conversations with people I just met. And enjoying the new food places they've recently added.. Definitely want to add this as a date night with your special someone..

The upgrades they have made have improved the overall atmosphere and experience. Food is good and prices are as expected at a place like this. The more open concept is good for mobilty accessibility. Not very accessible for visually impaired, though. The restrooms all have 2 accessible stalls. Due to the type of patrons at this location (a lot of elderly), more accessible parking spaces (especially van accessible parking) would give this 5 stars from me.

I was on vacation with family for a family reunion and we were taking here. It was a beautiful experience. Mom in a walker parking easy and elevator. I'm not personally one to visit casinos. However, the staff were nice with consideration for my mother. Confused on a lot of machines so I lost 35 within 10 minutes of play time. However I walked to find machines I'm more use to. I played 400 and cashed at for 440. So I broke even with a 5 in my pocket. My only complaint is no sit down restaurant, plus only sandwich type food. Nice place to watch football games also

Best Zoo, Best Caretakers and Best Family W environment! So worth you visit - we buy the family pass and take my granddaughters often for the best time ever. Today we rode the log boats, the train and the carousel. We were there for 3 hours today and it was crazy how few people where there - it was like we had the entire zoo to ourselves at times. (Kids are back in school, it's a Wednesday...) So it wasn't nearly as busy as usual on weekends. We had an extra special time we we were not rushed feeling like others needed to see the animals etc...

Honestly this zoo was so amazing. It is gorgeous with super immersive enclosures and tons of green space. The staff were all extremely kind and informative. I could tell they genuinely cared about their work and the zoo itself. The animals all seemed to be very happy and we got to see so many goofy and wonderful creatures. My partner and I had a blast here and within 25 mins we were already talking about how great it was and said we would absolutely be back. There are lots of places to rest as well. I have back problems and need to sit every once in awhile and I never had problems finding a place to rest. With breaks and taking our time the whole zoo took us around 3 hours to explore. It was excellent and I can't wait to go back someday. ☺️

We came late November/last Fall weekend so the African side and many animals were understandably relocated indoors. Still, it was worth the visit (which lasted slightly less than 3 hours), and I like that there was less traffic. My favorite was the otters, they were absolutely curious and beautiful. Many other animals seem to be well taken care of as well, and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place if you happen to be by Fort Wayne.

Prices are relatively high, but it is a great experience for people of all ages. Staff is very friendly and informative. There are also areas where you can interact with some of the animals directly, such as feeding the giraffes and grooming the goats. Highly recommend.

We were very lucky to see the preopening of the brand new light show this evening. It's great! So much holiday cheer for all age groups. You need to check this out! Driving in through the Blue Jacket holiday display sets the stage for a super experience.

1st time visiting, from Ohio. Was VERY ENJOYABLE! Loved the landscaping, lots of green lush vegetation, streams, small hills which were doable for us folks who have difficulty walking around larger zoos! Favorites for me were the Giraffe Feeding station, wide open areas of Savannah with the Zebra, Wildebeest, Ostrich, the Rainforest, and Stingray Bay experience. The "Sky Safari" lift, ZO&O Railroad, and Crocodile Creek Adventure Log ride were all well worth the extra money! All lasted a good amount of time compared with other zoos and VERY relaxing, much appreciated rest while viewing exhibits, nice lake, and beautiful autumn leaves changing! Amazing views from the Sky Safari lift!!!! People need to know it does not actually go near or over the animal enclosures, which the name sort of implies (I get why it shouldn't go directly over though). Very enjoyable! ALL animal of course were fascinating to watch. Habitats realistic! We got to see almost everything in 5 hours. The Alligator actually fascinated me the most, which is surprising since i don't pay much attention to them usually. It was right up front at the glass viewing window floating vertically so we could see just how large it was compared to US! The kids were standing there in awe! Loved the Red Pandas, Tigers, Monkeys, white Pelicans, and of course the new male lion, "Kiume" and his lioness "Ina". The wheel of scenarios next to their exhibit, showing how difficult it is to find and KEEP food was heart breaking but very educational!! There were 2 exhibits that made me feel a bit concerned for the animals. I'm no expert and maybe I wasn't seeing everything. First was the indoor Orangutan exhibit. Beautiful creatures sitting on the bare "trees" with no green vegetation and a cement floor. :-( Their natural habitats are rainforests, right? So I'd think they would be happier living in an area like your Rainforest exhibit! The adults looked very bored and "depressed". Hopefully their outdoor exhibit is better! My second concern was for the Serval. I only saw 1 in the enclosure, watching it a good 10 minutes just staying in one small area in front pacing back and forth, making a huffing sound-appearing like it was very stressed!! Was that because its mate wasn't around? Or was it smelling the Mongoose exhibit close by, frustrated it can't chase them? The enclosure itself didn't look large enough for Servals to stretch out and run! Is there a section the public isn't able to see? There were no zoo staff nearby to ask. I was gonna give a rating of "4" to the zoo because of these concerns but since all the other exhibits were so well done decided on "5". Also appreciated the Staff who were present being super friendly and helpful. VERY CLEAN EVERYWHERE as well! In the future would be nice if you offered a couple days a week with extended hours. When we had to leave at 5pm many of the animals were just starting to wake up and become active. Toledo zoo in Ohio, for ex, stays open until 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays, even in October. Overall, EXCELLENT, EDUCATIONAL, and FUN EXPERIENCE! Highly recommend for ALL ages!!! Thank you!

Love the Fort Wayne Zoo. We have a membership and I've been on several work outings as well, this is one of the best zoo's I know of within hours of Fort Wayne. The park nearby is also excellent.

We loved everything about the Creation Museum. Parking was easy and plentiful, staff was friendly and welcoming, many, many restrooms available and all clean, grounds are stunning, zoo animals well cared for and the museum itself was outstanding. We had a group of six women traveling from Virginia. We loved the interactive experience with zookeeper in the morning, a wonderful concert in the museum, the planetarium (extra fee), special effects movie theater (extra fee). The museum is beautifully done and very easy to navigate. Thankfully, it was not crowded, so the signs were easy to read. Other guests visiting were friendly as well. Excellent experience. Thank you!

We enjoyed the botanical garden. That's all I can say about the place. Within a few minutes of getting there, we were both ready to leave. We were there less than 2 hours, and I drive 8 hours round trip. We both considered it a disappointment and not worth that extremely long drive. The kid really had a good time on the bridges and the garden were the only highlights for us

This was our visit to the magnificently designed Creation Museum in Kentucky. It was an amazing experience as we came to visit straight from Philadelphia, PA. The entire Creation Museum venue is full of information which is presented is a very accessible way and easy to understand. They have several great bookstores with all kinds of curriculums for Church, Sunday School and VBS related to the Ark, the Flood and Creation and the Tower of Babel, which I highly recommend. We also really enjoyed the appearances and shows happening throughout the day, especially the one on "The Life of Corrie Ten-Boom". The staff is very helpful and has a fantastic attitude! We are definitely planning on coming back.

Wonderful experience! I highly recommend this for everyone of all ages and beliefs. The information is clear and to the point. The various exhibits are beautiful and dramatic. I really enjoyed the museum and you can slow down and go through each exhibit thoroughly. You can finish in a few hours and you will be highly edified.

This was such a cool museum! Went on a Saturday and wasn’t terribly busy. Definitely a little pricey but worth the experience. Plan to spend several hours here, we didn’t have time to go to the conservatory or butterfly house. As a former non believer I also appreciated the “scientific” explanations of the creation, flood etc. This place can be a fun experience for the unbeliever as well as the believer. Loved all the dinosaur exhibits!

Went with my family and church group recently and the kids absolutely loved it 😁 All of us had a wonderful time. They have a petting zoo and zip line. A beautiful pond with fish and lilly pads out on the water, the museum itself is very nice!! Good prices for their items in the bookstore. We enjoyed the theater also!!! A nice little playground for the kids to play in while you wait for an event to start. There is literally so much to do and enjoy.

Must do I took my husband here for a 63rd birthday surprise and he loved it. The talks were really great and everything they’re doing in. The museum is super good. They probably need to explain the alien planetarium movie, though it was the worst part of the whole place, but still good. They just need to add more about the spiritual rounds or about the contrasting theories for why they exist. I’m not convinced they don’t. Especially loved the garden of Eden section. We could’ve walked through that several more times. Very majestic.

We had a great experience visiting the Ark Encounter! 🕊️ It’s an incredible and detailed display of the ark that Noah built to save his family and the animals from the great flood. Walking through it really brings the story to life — there’s so much to see, learn, and reflect on. The exhibits are beautifully done and filled with fascinating biblical history. 📖 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” — Genesis 6:8 If you ever have the chance to visit, it’s absolutely worth it — a truly inspiring and faith-strengthening experience! 🌈

What an amazing experience! No amount of videos or photos can do justice to this place. Its a once in a lifetime experience. I came on Saturday and it wasn't as busy as I expected. Best time to visit is November less crowds. There is so much to see. Be prepared to walk for four hours if u wish to see a lot. They are four decks but fourth deck was closed for repairs. No need to buy tickets online.. the kiosk is pretty fast and hardly any waiting. The staff are all very nice and guided everyone with courtesy and respect. The tickets also include visiting the zoo. Absolutely recommend. I had a great time exploring it all.

It was worth the visit. Recommend for 1 complete day trip, but depends if travelling with kids, as there are activities for kids. The entire Arc encounter was indeed an amazing opportunity to visit. Most of the info provides insights of how Noah’s Ark could have been, but still few details not-mentioned-in-Bible are added, to complete the narrative I believe. Overall a good trip. Plenty of parking available for $15/day. Staff are excellent and friendly. Plenty of options to eat. We had the buffet, food was good. There are plenty of video sessions available. Consider spending time there, as there is heaps of useful info to learn. Please check the “plan of the day” details and plan accordingly. Have a good trip!

Incredible experience! So glad we went. We spent 4 hours just walking inside the Ark, we watched one movie about Noah's interview, very well done. I took photos of many signs to read later at home. Loved the plants outside. The only animal in the enclosure was a big lizzard so maybe the others are gone foe the season. $15 parking fee was a surprise. And the first thing we saw was a row of porta lets, no bathrooms available in the ticket building. This was really disappointing. This really could be improved, even making porta lets inside a nice building would be better. But actually bathrooms should be built, especially since food is sold there and I'm sure employees use a bathroom. The bus ride employees were polite and helpful with pushcarts for my mother and others. A Hampton Inn is right next to the parking lot. Would be nice to buy the combo ticket for Creaction museum and stay overnight. We were offered elevators too but the floors have nice ramps to walk so we chose to walk.

Great family fun- an enjoyable way to learn about the Ark. so much more- ZipLine, carousel, restaurants, cafes, zoo animals, gift shops, theater videos… so much to enjoy. Easy parking, parking $15 cars, oversized vehicles $20. You ride a bus to get to the Ark. plenty of open space. Interior displays to enjoy. Plenty of snacks, food items. Restrooms through the park. Places to sit- benches, picnic tables. Water to purchase. Plenty of walking. Tshirts and photo opportunities. Senior rates. Truly an enjoyable day.

Love this place! Very informative - like how every thing is intentional and how each area of the ark is well explained. Creativity- the build, structure and animals are well kept and realistic. Great work to the design and art creators. A lot of fun stuff to do around the ark! There is a wonderful buffet 😋 and games and playgrounds! It's great for you and your family.

We had never been to this adventure park and wow! I wish we would've tried this experience sooner! The kids loved it! We were all in awe of its size and the overall experience. It was a learning experience as well as packed with things for the whole family. I do wish the cost was a bit lower and the crowds (at least inside the Ark) were a bit much but manageable.

I NEED a place like this near my house! I've never seen such an incredible produce and international food selection in one place before! I would have never thought a grocery store could count as a tourist attraction but when my wife pointed out "We're like 8 miles from Jungle Jim's" my only possible reply was SAY NO MORE!

The best store in the world! No comparison. It has everything you can think of and more! Wished had more time to explore and had brought a cooler to take back all the amazing products! will definitely come again and more prepared!

I loved this store it had almost everything from different countries. No matter if it was food to household stuff. Sure something could be a little expensive to buy but that is with any store. Like for instance I told my girls that I’d rather stay in Canada then go to Russia depression items expensive we’ve been doing in the store. They were right next-door, one step to the right there in Russia. It was kind of cool to think we can travel all around the world without leaving United States. The negative about the place was sometimes it was crowded in areas with people. but with that being said, it wouldn’t stop me from coming again. The girls would like to go back at some point my girls would like to go back and do a cooking class there. And this is nothing to do with the store, but if you bring your kids and they like weird food and snacks, be prepare to have some money with you and a nose plug because you will get all kinds of smells from fish to age old cheese etc. FYI the have pretty good ice cream shop on the inside I especially love the caramel apple pie ice cream

Love this place! Eye candy everywhere!!! So many things to look at, see and be delighted by. All the international foods and products you could ever want. Plus your regular groceries in the middle. There's something for everyone here! Sweets, a full bakery with beautiful cakes. Plenty of aisles of everything from all the various countries around. A fish market, fruit and produce, all kinds of cheese. I can't begin to say what all I saw so I added some pictures to tell ya!!

All I can say about this place is…WHAT??? It’s such a huge store with a huge variety of everything you can think off from toys, kitchen supplies to literally thousands of food aisles filled with international foods. Every corner was a new surprise, the place is filled of cool statues and animatronics (the Elvis one freaks me out but he is chill) and the vibes are just so cool. This place is a 10/10 from the parking lot to the bathrooms and more. Would definitely recommend this experience to everyone and I can’t wait to be back! 😁

This is probably one of the best grocery stores ive ever been in! The selection in all international foods is exceptional! This is a must have place on your bucket list! We spent hours in here and could have spent a lot more!!

What a fun place to shop. There are other businesses attached to this building as well. The decor at Jungle Jim's is really wild. There is fun lifsize decor all throughout this place , always be looking around and specially look up. It's hard to shoo this store and see everything and not miss a section as the aisles are all lined up and there is additional sections all over the store. We went on our way home and it was supposed to be a quick trip. We ended up being inside for 4 hours and left not even seeing it all. The groceries available are from all over the world. If your a cheese fan , this is cheese heaven with cheeses from all over the world and many coolers full.

I recently went with my mom for our annual trip, and our last time here was the best time I have had. I do recommend arriving early on busy days and purchasing tickets in advance as there is always a line. However, should you forget (like me), it's quick and easy to purchase on their website when you arrive. I was beyond thrilled to see their Asian small-clawed river otters (even if they were sleeping) and North American river otters! This made my day as otters are my favorite animal. I look forward to the completion of the sea otter exhibit. I do wish the zoo would advertise the otters better; they're not mentioned at all on their zoo map. (If you're wondering, they are located in Siamang Point and Wolf Woods.) The main souvenir shop near the entrance/exit seemed to have a much more limited selection than they did in the past. There are other gift shops per the map, but I kept missing them somehow. Perhaps as more exhibits are completed, they will expand their options. But overall, it was a great day.

It’s a nice zoo, albeit smaller than I expected. They have all of the types of animals you’d see at any major zoo. It got really crowded on a Sunday afternoon, there was a long line just to get in by 2pm, so come early. It has better landscaping and decor than most zoos.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to genuinely care about the animals. It's a very good environment. It's not very friendly if you have any mobility challenges, but they do offer motorized scooters and other assistance. This is a great zoo!

This zoo is gorgeous! Loved every minute of it. So much to look at and keep the kids entertained. A lot of history as well. The hippos were awesome team Fiona! Paid the 4 bucks for my daughter's to feed the giraffes. Zeke was quite the character. I was surprised to see how gentle he was with my 7 and 5 year old. I went on election day so it was packed! However it was pleasant. The elephants and others were super entertaining as well.

Amazing zoo and experience. Easy, ample parking with a short walk, then many exhibits and some with multiple angles and approaches to make sure you see the animals, like the elephants and more. Special events like giraffe feeding and cheetah run are really unique. Kids and adults had an awesome time!

I adore the cinci zoo!! I read somewhere it’s been ranked the best zoo in the country and I believe it! Beautiful spacious habitats, incredible conservation and outreach! I love going to their adult overnight program! Their new elephant exhibit is just breathtaking. I have nothing but good things to say about this zoo!! Just be prepared to do some walking and spend the day here if you want to see everything! We were here open to close and there was a ton we missed!

As always the zoo didn't disappoint. We went to the pumpkin festival it was crazy cool pumpkin carvings. The Cincinnati artist were great! You still got to see the reptile and nocturnal exhibits.

Ate at Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Food was amazing. Kaley did a fantastic job of managing the crowd and keeping everyone happy. She had great entree suggestions for us. Will definitely eat here again.

We went to Cincinnati to buy a car. We are from GA. We just happened to see the casino so we pulled in. We had a great time. We stayed several hours. What we won, of course we played it all back out. Lol. Super friendly employees working the tables willing to help us understand the boards we didn't know how to play.

Well as of this morning 31 days of 50 or 60 Freeplay provided by the casino. 2 days of winning very small amount. Only days I did win was when I actually put cash in machine and then added Freeplay. So beware new players and previous players Freeplay isn't money you win on. To come here 31 days straight in the month of October and have 2 days where I even stayed longer than 15 mins is when I put cash in machine first and then added Freeplay. My partner and I were excited to check out the Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati, especially since my partner is a VIP host at our hometown casino. This was my first time gambling—I’ve never really played slots or table games—so I was eager to try something new. From the outside, the casino is impossible to miss: bright neon signage, a huge Hard Rock guitar sign, and glowing lights that draw you in from blocks away. Inside, the entryway is grand, with large glass doors, gorgeous chandeliers, and vibrant neon lighting. A metal detector at the entrance went off on me, but the staff were friendly and helped figure out that it was a piece of jewelry causing the alert. Once inside, we noticed display cases featuring iconic musician attire, giving the casino a fun museum-like feel. Walking through these exhibits was a highlight and added an unexpected cultural touch to the visit. The central bar was stunning, beautifully lit, and the staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with cocktail choices to enhance the experience. The casino floor featured a wide variety of slot machines, table games, and even a small carnival game section, which was unique and fun to explore. There were also multiple smoking terraces designed with a club-like vibe that were surprisingly comfortable and didn’t smell like an ashtray. That said, the experience for a first-time gambler like me was frustrating. Unlike our hometown casino, there were no staff on the floor to explain how the games worked or to guide new players. I had to rely on other patrons to help me understand table games, which was kind but highlighted a lack of guest support. Playing the slot machines and table games ended up being more confusing than enjoyable. By the time we arrived around 8:00 p.m., most of the casino’s restaurants were closed, so we didn’t get to experience the dining options. Overall, while the venue is beautiful and visually impressive, the lack of floor staff and guidance for new players made the visit feel underwhelming. We enjoyed the bar more than the gaming floor, and it left us appreciating our hometown casino even more.

We visited the casino for the Young the Giant and Joywave concert, although there was weather issues overall the concert was amazing!! The casino handled the weather issues with ease and made the whole experience great. We tried a pizza bistro inside the casino and they were very delicious.

Went for the Ranch Hands Cowboylesque Sow. Great time, great show. Gave a 4 star because trying to find ballroom was not easy. You have to walk through most of the casino to get to escalator to go up to the ballroom.

Just finished our very first visit to Kings Island for their Halloween haunt event. Overall it was a great time. The theming for Halloween around the park, especially at night was immersive, and well put together. The amount of rides, especially coasters, was also great, even though there’s only 2 truly great ones there in Orion, and Diamondback. The only issue is with the operations, as a lot of the workers around the park, are young, and very misinformed on the parks policies, or pass info. Ride operations were great as far as the speed they were dispatching rides, but also huge drawback is that on every single coaster aside from Diamondback, they tell you where to sit. For coaster enthusiasts this is a very bad thing, as we typically like to ride in certain trains to get the full experience. That’s the only reason for dropping a star. The Haunt event was decent with scare zones full of actors, however the haunted mazes we went through aside from Conjuring which is a separate price, and kill mart, were very poorly set up. Very long lines, yet hardly any actors in them. Conjuring was decent but a bit overpriced, and kill mart was the best scare attraction in the park by a mile. The dining plan is confusing but pays off easily. The night time show at the end was top notch as well. Some things could be improved but for the amount of stuff to do there, getting tickets especially during the sales is a no brainer. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I met my family for a day of fun in early October. The park was so well done for their Halloween Haunt. The park offered a great mix of scary and fun rides and activities for kids of all ages. We bought the package and the fast lane/ express lane option during the haunt which was well worth the money. We also also bought the drink option that ended up being one of the best investments we ever made. It was so hot that day and we were able to stay hydrated without breaking the bank. The icing on that he cake was the Conjourng! Highly recommend!!

I have gone 4 times this year so far. Love the family friendly environment and adult friendly vendors here. Very well kept park with good selection of rides. I don't recommend going on Saturday especially during the haunt season! Unless you enjoy 2-3hr lines for everything..

I mean come on, it’s Kings Island, one of the best amusement parks in the world, what can I say? The Haunt is extremely well done, much better than Carowinds, Kings Dominion or any of the Six Flags parks’ versions. If you like coasters and great atmosphere and fun, this should be a top destination for your travel plans.

They are not joking when they say the operations here are world class. I think the diamondback trains dispatch 3 seconds after the back row people sit down, because the workers have already buckled and checked all the front rows by then. It’s crazy. Incredible night rides on the Beast, and you know it’s true because many people in my party agree that it was worth the 140 minute wait. Pro tip go at dusk and line up so that it’s dark by the time you reach the front, otherwise you will waiting for hours like us and the rest of the park. Insanely well rounded top five coasters here too.

Came here a few times with a season pass this year, a good time each visit. Definitely recommend to get at least a gold pass which includes Haunt nights during Halloween. Be advised, haunted houses are NOT included in the pass, you’ll need a separate arm band that’s $10 you can get the day of.

Had a great family day for Labor Day Weekend! Plenty of parking and fun! Bought tickets online before we arrived and walked right over from the Great Wolf Lodge! Snoopy Land was fun for a few rides -we had a 7 & 8 year old so we were in between rides but still enjoyed ourselves. The Eiffel Tower was great for them to experience. The Ship Ride was a test of their courage. Lots of snack areas and drinks. Lots of bees around the soda area. Not a fan. Great shopping areas and Candy Zone -photos at entrance for the groups. The racer was fun and carousel. Will do the Waterpark next summer. Great time to enjoy. Lots of walking. Can’t wait to take them back as they get older.

Great air and history museum! You could easily spend an entire day here. Great historical explanations surrounding the exhibits and very organized. We've been there several times with the kids through the years and always had a great time. Most recently, my daughter and I visited during a "plane talk" event and were able to meet several retired members of the flight crew of different aircraft. Highly recommend!

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force is truly one of the most impressive museums I’ve ever visited — and the fact that it’s completely free makes it even more unbelievable. The size of the place is massive, and each hangar takes you deeper into the history of aviation, space exploration, and the U.S. Air Force’s role around the world. The exhibits are incredibly well-organized, starting from early flight history and leading all the way to modern jets, stealth aircraft, and even space capsules. Walking through the hangars feels like stepping through different eras — from WWII bombers to Cold War jets to presidential aircraft. Seeing Air Force One up close and being able to walk inside some of the planes is such a unique experience. Every area is spotless and very well-maintained, and the amount of information available is impressive without being overwhelming. There’s something for everyone — whether you love military history, aviation technology, or just want to see some amazing aircraft in person. The staff and volunteers are also very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, which adds so much to the visit. You can easily spend several hours here without even realizing how much time has passed. The museum is perfect for families, tourists, history lovers, and honestly anyone who enjoys seeing something truly extraordinary. This is without a doubt one of Dayton’s biggest treasures, and a must-visit destination for anyone in the area.

Aviation history at its finest—absolutely world-class. This museum is a national treasure. From the Wright brothers to stealth bombers, the scale and depth of the exhibits are staggering. Four massive hangars packed with legendary aircraft, including the X-15, SR-71, and the B-29 that dropped the second atomic bomb. You can even walk through presidential planes like the one Lyndon Johnson was sworn in on. One of the most compelling exhibits is the story of “Flying the Hump”—the daring WWII airlift over the Himalayas to resupply Chinese forces after the Japanese cut off the Burma Road. Pilots flew from India to China through brutal weather, 18,000-foot altitudes, and zero navigation aids. It was dubbed the “Skyway to Hell”, and rightly so: over 500 aircraft were lost, and more than 1,300 crew members perished. Yet this mission was vital to keeping China in the fight and ultimately helped turn the tide in the Pacific Theater. The layout is intuitive, the signage is clear, and the staff—many of them veterans—are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Best part? Admission is free. You could easily spend a full day here (or several) and still not see everything. Whether you're an aerospace engineer, a military buff, or just curious about flight, this place will leave you inspired. One of the best museums in the country, hands down.

If you like airplanes and history, this is probably the best collection you'll ever see, minus the Smithsonian. Tons of interactive exhibits, for all ages. The volunteers are all super nice, especially the tour guides, and speak from a wealth of knowledge that's irreplaceable.

I cannot rate this place high enough! We had a pre-planned business event here with a catered lunch. We had the museum to ourselves (a group of 30 or so) due to the furlough, but they were able to accommodate us for the afternoon. I am a Navy Vet (specifically naval aviation) and history fanatic so I got to be a huge nerd and had a blast! They let us ride the scooters through the museum since they hadn’t been used in a while. And it was amazing seeing all these planes close up and to be able to read the history! I already want to plan a trip back, because I don’t think I even saw a fraction of what this place holds!!

So glad we took the time to visit this place. It costs nothing to go in, and there's so much to see and do. My toddler had a great time getting to see everything. They also have several planes you get to go inside of or sit in the cockpit of. There are also several interactive exhibits that are great for kids. Overall, it's an amazing display of an important part of history, while also preserving it all exceptionally well.

Must-visit for any plane enthusiast. Didn't have as much time as would be needed to take everything in fully, but that was ok because admission is free, and I still got to see what I had hoped to. Only thing missing I would have liked to see was a C-5, but other than that they have all the sought after aircraft in the USAF fleet, including things like a B-2 and SR-71.
