A really fun experience! The people who checked us in were so kind also ❤️ thank you! It’s so full of history for kids and adults. Great mini movie. Definitely worth watching. The ship was awesome. I saw a lot of reviews saying it’s hot on it. But I mean of course it would be it’s a ship in the sun! It was so cool though!! My kids loved it and so did I.

Very interesting to see the vast and tragic history of the great lakes so much to see here and learn. The ship was very cool to see and tour and the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful they other cool story's of the area plus it was Halloween and they were dressed as pirates and giving out candy well worth the visit. The tuggs were also interesting. The museum wad full of all the good and bad history of the lakes. Lots of artifacts from the ship wrecks. Im glad i stopped and hzve lots of pictures. Thanks for the cool tour, and keep up the great work and hope to see yall agan. Thanks a whole lot!!!!!

If you want a museum that you can go to from open to close, this is the place. The freighter alone is worth 6 hours alone. The museum is about 3 to 4 hours. There is just so much to see and learn. Being here was worth the trip. The life raft from the Edmund Fitzgerald was really shocking to see as very little had been found when she went down. It's really a nice collection of history of the Great Lakes and learning how important they are to the area.

Shout out to Ellen: Our Edmund Fitzgerald tour guide. Very professional for the theme of the material and very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. All the data that was given, she never forgot the compassionate side of the storie as she stated "let's not forget that we lost 29 people that day." The museum part had some great displays and yes there were noisy kids but kids are noisy. The museum itself was great. Thank you for the 50th anniversary experience of the Fitzgerald

On the last day of our family reunion in Toledo to honor my late father, we discovered the National Museum of the Great Lakes just after lunch nearby. We decided to tour both the Schoonmaker lake barge and then visit the museum next door. After purchasing our tickets, the receptionist advised us to board the Schoonmaker first. I am glad she did since we had only thirty minutes to spare and would have missed out on the barge otherwise. It was our first time on a lake barge and we were impressed by its size, especially knowing it was built in the same era as the Titanic. The scale remains striking even today. Unfortunately, we did not have time to explore the museum itself. We managed a quick stop in the gift shop and also took a few photos by the giant propeller at the entrance. Not seeing the full museum gives us another reason to return on our next visit. We also want to thank the museum for honoring the military with discounted tickets. We greatly appreciated that!

Visited the National Museum of the Great Lakes as part of the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald. We had the tour of the James S. Schoonmaker to start our visit, and our tour guide Tom was tremendous. Fielded many questions and was educated and informed to answer all. Made the tour very digestible and entertaining. Tom was an excellent guide! The museum itself was terrific. Very interactive and wide ranging in its exhibits. We enjoyed our visit greatly and would definitely revisit. Great value, and great for all ages.

Spread out so even with bugs groups it isn’t bad. Parking is a pain. Street parking and 2 hour limit. Have to go out and add more. The outdoor part was closed for renovation. Kids loved the airplane you can drive, water station and hurricane simulator. The bike ride would have been fun but my daughter was a hair too short. They also loved the battle bots you could make .

What a fun and interesting place to take children and to learn as an adult as well. So many wonderful things to see and do. Very interactive. They even have a movie theater inside as well as a snack bar. We saw the movie Wild Ohio that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources had produced to showcase many wonderful places in Ohio.

I had a very interesting and fun experience. It’s a very educational and has different stuff for different ages. The membership is well worth getting. My favorite part was the simulation ride. I’m definitely coming back again.

Passing through Toledo on a road trip we stopped here to break of the ride and we were beyond pleasantly surprised. Parking was a cinch and cost $2 for 2 hours right outside on Main Street and our girls ages loved all the hands on activities. We had to drag them out of there as they didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Imagination Station!

We had an amazing time here! It’s the perfect mix of fun and learning for both kids and adults. The exhibits are hands-on and really engaging.

Grandkids enjoyed this stop. It rained so this was plan B since our outdoor activities were ruined. Several hands on exhibits were not working. The place was very busy. They do offer many activities for a lot of different ages and interest.

We relish the time and stem experience that sparked curiosity in children. Lego and other activities make it even more exciting.

Stopped in rather briefly but we enjoyed what we saw. The staff were very friendly (shoutout to Reggie) and we loved the collection on the East side. We arrived shortly after they opened on Sunday and only a few others were there. Love that the lot and museum were free. Definitely would come back again.

Hello future tourist… I recommend this museum. From start to finish the staff is very welcoming. Is great to take the family, friends, or simply go on a date with your significant other. The atmosphere is very clean and organized. I did enjoy that every so often they have new exhibits to view. They also have an area for special events one can have. That was pretty neat too. Now, across from the museum they have Glass Pavilion . They have neat glass art displays. Also, you could see staff members working on new glass projects. I really enjoyed my experience. I hope you like it as much as I did.

This museum is beautiful & all of the art there is as well. I love how knowledgeable the staff there is, how everything is set up & the fact that they have interactive activities for the whole family, especially the kids. If you like art, like learning about new things, & don't mind walking I would recommend you to go check it out.

Went here solo, for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed the total experience. Free parking and admission, lovely well rounded collection, beautiful building and grounds with a pleasant and helpful staff. Bonus: had the place mostly to myself. Thanks Toledo!

The museum is beautiful and has a wide variety of art to check out. The staff were super friendly too. One offered to take a photo of our group and another told us a bit of background information about a piece we found interesting. Overall, it was a great experience, and it's awesome that admission is free!

We had a great afternoon looking at all the art. I would like to take my grandson this winter. There is a really nice area for children.

We really enjoyed the glass collection, so many beautiful pieces! Loved the jewelry collection too. Will definitely come again when we're in the area. Really appreciated the free admission and parking too! Very friendly staff.

The sand in parts of the beach is all finely crushed shells, really cool! Beach was clean, very little trash and water was nice and warm great place to swim. Good place to go fishing, great place to sit and relax.

July 2025 - came here with the family over the 4th of July weekend. The place was packed. They have a shower and bathroom. The beach was nice and the water was warm. No issues and a good park to check out.

The park offers some good points, but the beach could use some improvement. The beach itself was just okay and not as clean as I would have liked. However, I did appreciate the shaded areas provided by the trees, which was a nice break from the sun. The park play area for kids was a great feature and a definite plus."

This state park is right on the edge of Lake Erie. They have a wonderful campground. It’s very tight but you’re right on the edge of Lake Erie so you have a beach right there in the campground it’s amazing. The playground for the children looks great. the bathhouse is wonderfuland then if you decide you’re not camping, you also have access to the beach of Lake Erie. they have a nice concession area lots and lots of picnic tables with grills and a huge parking lot. It really is a nice place.

This place is just horribly unhealthy. It is directly, practically on top of, a gross factory- emitting non stop, fumes. You can smell it and the air quality in the location is poor. Every view from the lake has factories. The water is full of dead fish and the trail is filled with sulfur smells. This is a sad situation for the city. This is 2025 and we know about clean energy..or at least non-deadly energy. Skip this place. Monroe..you can do better for your citizens.

Returned today from Sterling state campground, and we loved it. We did tent camping. There were lot of RVs and very few tent campers. I would like to list what we loved: 1. The ground were leveled and soil was soft to fix stakes in. Whole campground was lush green with grass and few weeds. 2. You would be welcomed with nicely arranged swamp roses which were there in my campground too. Yes there are areas with native plants and milkweeds. 3. Our camping area was near restrooms. Restrooms and shower were very clean. 4. Outside restrooms were placed vending machines. Also separate trash cans were there for paper, waste and cans & bottles. 5. Lake Erie view was pleasing. Lake made weather pleasant. 6. There were activities for small kids like nature walk where the female staff was telling kids to write what they would observe while on their way to Lake Erie and they should write it downl. Provided kids with unlimited foam stickers and crayons to write. Today they had different type of clouds activities for kids. 7. Lake Erie is so cool, water is cold and beach has no fishy smell. Yes few dead fishes were washed off but otherwise walking around beach and tree areas were refreshing. 8. For tent camping, there is more than ample space. 9. Campground has electric outlets. 10. Common playground was there in campground and kids slides and play area was also there if you walk through beach where there was hotdog food truck too. 11. Cottages are there. Negatives that are not campground fault: 1. Lot of mayflies or June flies were there which was sticking around us, tents and out canopy. 2. Trees are small and hence canopy is required 3. First day when we arrived, it was extremely windy that was making it very hard to set up the tent and rainfly over it. 4. View of some power plant is visible. 5. Not private campground. Overall we all loved it, kids would not be bored and so are the adults.

Great spot to check off my passport bucket list! We got our stamp thinking this was going to be just a visitor center with a field and it was much more! Staff was very knowledgeable, the new education center was full of interactive stuff for the kids to do. I can't wait to come back when it is completed! Very thoughtful to the time frame in which it all took place.

This is a great spot to walk around and read about the battlefield history. Start near the parking lot and it loops in the correct order to read the full story on the signs. There are two picnic areas, one covered and one not. There is not a lot of parking and the only restroom is an outhouse. Still an interesting place to stop especially if you like history. Highly recommend checking the River Raisin National Park visitor center first just so you have a better idea of what you are seeing, though the signs do a great job of telling the full story.

Very beautiful! Loved that they had the display for those that had been killed in action and that it was split into sections for each war. Very moving display.

Traffic bumped me off the freeway, and right into the parking lot of this amazing NPS Battlefield. This place is a hidden gem. Stop on in with your kids and learn a lot about American Indian culture and the War of 1812.

Beautiful and peaceful walk paved and unpaved sections over a mile total.. Hope you enjoy our pictures. Toby was jumping and leaping with excitement.

Great stop on my trip! As a history buff I loved all of the artifacts they had. Even if you do not know much about the war of 1812 and especially what happened here, there is an AMAZING movie that explains it all. Highly recommend

Very fun experience center with hands-on displays. Learn to load a cannon or fire an arrow or make wampum with legos. Well worth a stop especially if you have kids.

Today we were at Greenfield village for the Halloween evening dinner, train ride etc. So todays dinner was cancelled dur to a poweroutage. Some construction crews cut their power supply and it did not come back on until 4 pm. We were really excited to tey the dinner and was sad it was cancelled however we were told they were already working on refunds for the dinner portion of the ticket. We did the train ride and that was fun. The halloween decoration were a bit cheesy and they no longer give out candy. I guess they stopped doing this during covid. They really need to bring it back. They did have several food and drink trucks and sold alcohol; beer and wine. I did not see any liquor. The whole event was relatively expensive but thete were very few activities overall. However there was a large area that was more like a flea market where you could buy alll kinds of things. I kind of felt that i paid to goto a flea market and that the rest was just decorations. If you go, i would definitely go when dark - after 715 pm. Please bring back the trick or treating....

I've been coming here since I was a child. The whole village experience has been greatly enhanced with costumed guides, more rides (love the Model T rides), food choices and seasonal experiences. There are so many fun things to do in every season- something for everyone. So thrilled with Ford 's vision to preserve history so we can continue to learn from it and enjoy for decades to come.

This is definitely one of the best outdoor museums in the country. Lots of historic buildings, cars, trains and things to do. You can check out Thomas Edison's Menlo park, blacksmith demonstrations, other historic demonstrations, but by far the best thing to do is to ride the historic steam engine powered train and also the original model t cars. You really do feel like you are in the early 1900s and riding in a real historic 1914 Ford Model T is awesome. It's about a 10-minute ride and the driver explains the history and you really feel like you are in 1920. Everything is period correct including the cars, the buildings, the street lights, and even the yellow stop signs before they were required to be red. You can easily spend hours checking out all of the buildings, photographing the old cars and trains and still not see everything in one day.

I went during Hallowe’en nights and had the time of my life! There were story tellers, shops, costumes, pumpkins in TREES!! They offered a shuttle service before and after which was great for my grandpa. Paid the extra $5 each for a super cringey train ride ANDS I FREAKING LOVED IT! perfect amount of laughter for the price. It was gaudy, out of pocket, and the perfect way to end a spooky night. One negative thing is that there is A LOT of walking. We’ll rent a scooter for my grandpa next year.

Greenfield Village is like my Disney World. We are members so we support an amazing place and have a safe, fun, educational place to take our grandkids and friends. I would urge anyone to visit at least once and make sure you ride in a Model T, have frozen custard, ride the over 100 year old carousel and see where Henry Ford was born and Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb.

Greenfield Village is a nice step back in time thanks to Henry Ford and his vision to preserve history. The Hallowe’en and Holiday Nights events are wonderful. Great family friendly place to spend some time.

We visited on a Tuesday morning with minimal crowds. (mostly a few moms/strollers and a couple of small school groups) There was no waiting to ride the train, T-Model car or horse carriage rides. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and eager to share the history of the buildings and artifacts. The bathrooms were clean. Some of the food vendors were closed for the season as we visited in September. The highlight of our day was eating lunch in a candle lite inn with recipes from 1850. My husband had a whisky cocktail, bacon wrapped pork with new potatoes and peach pie. I had lemonade, tomato soup and blueberry pie. Both meals included pickles, breads, butter and blackberry jam all served in pottery. We loved the experience!

It's been a long time since I been there. Was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a lot to take in. Not so many hands on stuff for kids tho. If you have a hard standing or walking a long time there are benches everywhere. Everything is very detailed and descriptive. I would go back in the futer. If you are considering this for a family trip or if you are coming in from out of state I highly recommend coming here and checking out it. Also if you want something like a novilty they have machines that make wax molds of cars etc.

I could have spent five or six hours here. There is so much going on from presidential cars to race cars, the bus Rosa Parks was on to the chair Lincoln was shot in. This is truly a museum of innovation, not just about Ford. If we would have had time I would have spent the time to go to the Ford Rouge plant that assembles Ford F-150s. That takes about two hours. Nearby you have the race car hall of fame. Outside of having a ton of information its just a very elegant building. Its classy enough to be an art museum and some of these pieces are definitely that. Its a must stop in Detroit.

We went to the Henry Ford Museum on my birthday and it was a great experience. Going in, I thought my wife would be bored from it, but she absolutely loved it. There were items from different eras of Americana. We decided on doing the indoor museum upon the threat of rain. I was thinking we'd other be there for a couple hours at most, as we don't dive deep into reading everything, but we literally left at closing. There was JFK's car, trains, old machinery, furniture, Abraham Lincoln's chair, and the actual bus that Rosa Parks sat on. Sitting in her seat, I reflected on how she must have felt. We learned so much. We also ate at the diner that was near the entrance. It was very affordable. I've been here 20 yesrs ago with my father and so much has changed and added. We can't wait to come back for the outdoor museum.

We absolutely love this place! There is something for everyone. They have the museum located indoors that has many great exhibits. Lots of hands on activities for kids. There’s also special events that come to the museum. In addition to the museum there’s the outside village (does require additional ticket) that you can walk around. I highly recommend getting a ride pass so you can ride all of the rides (train, carousel, model T) without worrying to buy additional tickets! Custard is a must!!

This is a must to visit museum. So much historic items. Plan to be here all day. There are clean restrooms, restaurants to eat at and easy to walk around. Fun Fun Fun. You will enjoy every turn you make. Henry Ford did things awesome when.it comes to preserving historic items.

The Nature Preserve was absolutely fabulous! Definitely a place to take your kids! We met Hawkeye The Owl and we met Radar, we also met some turtles and a snake! Everything from the views to the butterflies was simply beautiful. Lots of little hands on spots for the kids, very very kid forward.

Seriously one of the prettiest parks I’ve been to in Michigan close to home! We found ourselves on this long wooded path along the river, on top of it being fall. It was amazing 😍

My grandkids had a great time. But I think they should have a seniors rate cuz paying full price to watch the kids is ridiculous.

This is in our top five Metroparks in the Metro Detroit area. Absolutely beautiful. Stunning views , always clean , bathrooms , turtle cove, many parks to visit. Just so much to do with family. Paved areas for bikes or rollerblades. We often see people fishing here & camping. 🏕️ this is definitely a gem & there’s an area where you can put your kayak in on the river. It’s all around a great place for the community to come.

Great spot for a hot day, big pool, water slides, kid play splash area, and a lazy river. $12 for a great day for all ages! You can also buy food and drinks at the concession stand. Lockers available for rent at an additional cost.

Great hiking from flat, paved areas to more primitive trails and much in between.

*This review is for the water park only* I did not stay at the hotel! My family and I came on a Saturday and bought the day passes. $50 a piece. Absolutely NOT worth it. Maybe half the cost would have been. Maybe. The facility itself is pretty run down and stuff is rusty and dingy in the bathrooms/changing area. You are required to sign a waiver which alleviates the resort of all liability pretty much which is super smart on their end because there are safety hazards at every corner. We are pretty strong swimmers and the "lazy river" is anything but lazy. There are hardware parts missing on certain spots of the river which leaves sharp metal sticking out IN THE WATER. At the top of the slides area there are no adults or staff on duty so it is up to children to decide when it's safe to go down!?? I went on the splash pad structure with my daughter for 2 minutes and am very cautious about my footing in general and the whole structure was slick no matter where you stepped. I ended up slipping while holding on the sides and fell on the metal stairs, luckily landing on my elbows and back instead of my head. The lifeguard on duty asked if I was ok but I have giant bruises on my back and arms. We left soon after. So annoyed that I spent $150 for 2 hours of stress and injuries. The only solace is that my daughter had fun.

So here it goes... I would 100% revisit the splash park. Awesome time. Fun for the whole family. The lazy river is faster than I expected which was super cool. I honestly loved the experience .. the splash park is the reason this place got any stars from me. Yes the hotel is out dated but I can live with that . What I cannot live with is the lack of cleanliness of the rooms/bathroom, the roaches crawling around at night near the sink and floor, and the ac stuck at 80 degrees . I guess the thermostat wasn't working. I let the front desk know while I was leaving . For nearly 500$ for 1 night I expected better... I wasn't even offered a reduction in price. Although, I didn't ask. I merely stated the conditions in hopes management will get it under control because I really did enjoy my time. I'll go again but will stay at a different hotel .

I went a few weeks ago and called before I went. I came in the afternoon and got a day pass. I paid the guy and went to get a locker and change. I was very upset to see the hot springs was drained and not working. I drove almost an hour to get there and I only use the lazy river and hot tub but couldn't use the hot tub. Why was I not told when I called on the phone? Why was I not told when I got my wristband? This is not right. I should be reimbursed. Very unhappy customer 😕 😞

This hotel is an embarrassment to hotels. I did book it because it was close to Milan we were here because my mom passed. I booked 4 rooms and it was something wrong with them all. Plugs didn’t work stains in shower and stopper broke, irons didn’t work, rooms were so outdated, elevator was out of order, ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of order ( we were told it’s been out of order for a while) vending machines were all out of order and empty. I have never stayed somewhere that I feel should be shut down. There was not one thing I can say good. I will never again compromise quality over proximity I will drive to stay in a good quality hotel. We was also told maintenance only wok till 3 pm and I ask for the mangers number she said she called him but he didn’t answer. I can’t imagine how the water side was. I will be contacting whoever to request some money back

Our reservation was for two nights but we had to reschedule. When we arrived, the reservation was for only one night. We were able to add the extra night, before reading the reviews. It's true. The elevator was out of order, the vending machines (at the hotel) were out of order, with expired product visible. The hot tub was out of order (at the water park). The bar and restaurant were closed. In our double Queen room for four adults, there was ONE chair in the room. One of the outlets in the room didn't work. The curtains were dry rotted. We decided NOT to use the lazy river (the reason for our visit) due to the reviews from the previous weekend of sewer back up in the restroom at the water park. The manager was not friendly but had his staff relay negative energy to us. Since there was only ONE chair in the room, we took our games to the lobby at a large table. We took our own snacks and drinks. The manager told his staff to make sure we were in our room by 10pm as he was leaving for evening. Would not recommend this facility in this condition. We will not return.

Really not one single thing about our trip. We get there at check-in around 4 restaurants closed and we were hungry. Water park closed at 6 so we had less than 2 hours. Only given 1 bath towel for 4 people. 90% of the crane games empty, vending machines empty, ice machine broke. I complained to front desk they said a manger would call me, never did. I've called a few more times and never anyone there I can talk to. They said we'll have management call but never do. If I could give them zero Stars I would but I was forced to give them one star. Save your money and go someplace that actually cares about their customers and business

I was so disappointed with Splash Universe. We ended up leaving and requesting a refund after about two hours. Issues: 1. Dirty room with visible dust, brown splatter on the wall, brown sludge in the fridge, dirty shower, broken phone 2. We saw two employees. They had one person at the front during check-in - she was great but needed a second person to manage demand. 3. Many, many out-of-order signs. Broken vending machines and elevators. 4. The elevators that are working have EXPIRED licenses. See photos for two examples. 5. One lifegaurd at the door. 6. Rust and dirt everywhere in the water park. Safety cones all over. So many kids falling and slipping. It is so rundown! It looks like they haven’t repainted or refinished in many years. 7. No staff at gift shop or other stalls. 8. No housekeeping! 9. No signs to show you where to go. The front check-in area doesn’t even have a sign. We saw multiple people wandering from door to door to find the main entrance - ourselves included. This place is not safe and has clearly ignored regulations (like the elevators). Pros: 1. Wendy at the front desk is so kind and helpful. This is not on the staff. Clearly the owners are trying to skimp their way through.

Good atmosphere and variety of items to purchase. Staff available if needed to ask questions and need assistance. Staff is also very friendly and will also help educate you on the animals you see there in their displays.

Great store! I’ve always loved the locations back in Ohio, and this one didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed all the taxidermy displays and the aquarium. They also have an elevator to access the upstairs area, as well as electric carts for convenience. Prices can be a bit high, but that’s to be expected with the quality they offer.

A fun experience for all ages. Any outdoors enthusiast will find what they have been searching for. Where can you shop and feed fish indoors……

This is always a great place for us to stop on our road trips. They allow dogs in the store, which we love! We love to stop here, and shop for a few things, while exploring all of the cool things this store has to offer. The employees are always so welcoming every time we come here! My dogs are always amazed at all the animals they get to see! And the fish! Don't miss out on the fish!

Had to go with the husband and grandson, they enjoy coming here… me not so much but it’s just not my jam…I go to be with them. Beautiful store, I think they must carry everything for the outdoors person.

Love this place. Grandkids love this place. So much to see. Staff is typically very friendly and knowledgeable. Even if there is an issue or mix up, its typically fixed with a simple phone call. And the Club offers are great too! Lots of discounts and rewards! I used rewards points to aquire this beautiful hunting tool!

Just stopped to get a pair of clip-on sunglasses. They have a wonderful selection. $40 a pair got a pair that fit very nicely have been here a couple of times. You stop and see the taxidermy display it is phenomenal.

Fun park with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Fountain is beautiful. Free concerts every Friday in the warmer months. Only thing is there is no playscapes because they do some many fun events so often in the park. Always clean, too

I absolutely love Kellogg Park! Such a beautiful park and I love seeing friends & families enjoying it together. I love Music in the Park too. It’s wonderful seeing people of all ages enjoying the concerts on Friday nights 💖

Really nice local center village park with gorgeous renovated fountain. There are often seasonal installations at this park and currently there is a Halloween exhibit so go and check that out.

U can't bring in ur own food or drinks however my first experience was absolutely fantastic. We watch the premiere of The Book Club 2 and they went all out. Very nice.

I truly enjoyed the movie and the selection they had at the concession stand. The prices were reasonable.

Went to the SAG/AFTRA screening. It was great coming back together at a nostalgic location. Had some audio technical difficulties but was still a great time.

I had a really enjoyable experience at this theater. The staff were amazing and the food/drinks were awesome. My only complaint is the condition of the seats. When the lights came on and I saw all the seats were peeling off it was shocking. Please reupholster the seats or replace them.

We like the size of this theater and the location is good for us also. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the theater is cleaner than most. Seats are pretty worn out and need replacing. Considering the cost is on par with Emagine and others with premium seating, this needs to be addressed. Concessions and bar is poorly set up. There appears to be a queue upon entry which leads to ticketing. Or is it concessions? Both? No one is quite sure. A third area to the right is clearly a bar, so one would expect to be able to purchase a popcorn and a beer here. WRONG. After waiting 10 minutes, the server (politely) was able to sell popcorn, but directed us to exit the lobby to the left, and go into a restaurant/bar to purchase drinks. NEVER MIND THE BEER AND WINE ON DISPLAY IN THIS AREA. So, a field trip it is. An another wait in another line. Why make it so difficult to take my money?

Wonderful films, many independent films also. There are fun & uniqe events such as Secret Ciema twice a month, Fathom Events & special screenings with speakers. Edison's, inside the Maple theater, has opened. It's a great draw for the theater whether you are seeing a movie or not. Relaxing atmosphere. It's a bar along with quality appetizer type food. Different events happen on certain nights such as live music, trivia night, etc. I highly recommend anyone check it out.

Addendum: I would like to thank the owner for getting back to me on this. The movie we saw was a man called Otto with Tom Hanks and I believe it was in theater 3. I should add that while the seats are worn they were extremely comfortable and none of them were dirty. I would definitely return to this theater again it was cold that night and the auditorium was nice and warm. The audience was older people like me and I think everybody appreciated the ambience.

If you want sugar and cinnamon on your donuts you get plain donuts. Would of been nice if asked if we want plain or sugar/cinnamon. I don't get that at any other Cider mill. I haven't been here since 1996.

I've been told for years to try the donuts here as well as the Cider marinated hot dogs and their roasted corn. So, I took a drive. It's a beautiful mill. Beautiful scenery. I went on a Tuesday morning. Parking was plentiful. The donut was small, with a bit of crunch. It's ok. They don't do cinnamon sugar just plain. Though you can buy a packet to shake on. Got a small glass of cider that was yummy. The hot dog was $8 and nothing special. Wasn't worth it. And unfortunately they only have the corn on the weekend. If you're in the area why not stop and walk around. It's a pretty area and they do have carmel apples, spiced nuts, and other treats to try. They also sell honey and apples and such at an outdoor market in the tent.

Great atmosphere. I love being able to see the ducks and other history at this location. The apple bread is phenomenal, donuts have some great crisp to them, and the cider is phenomenal. I love that during the week it still runs like it would on the weekend. They have jams, butter, honey, popcorn, fudge, maple candy, salt water taffy, and mill merchandise. This is my favorite mill. Will order some pie to pick up later!

I have been going here since I was a young kid with my family as a family tradition and the cider and donuts never change or disappoint. Now I am 50 year old and now take my own family. The kicker is now they have the best roasted corn on the cob this side of the universe. It is awesome. I will be coming back just one day for the corn soon. It is a must.

Saw Cabaret at this historic venue and WOW🤩 I've seen Cabaret performed in some world-renowned cities, but THIS cast and performance topped them all! The artistic detail used to convey the theme were fantastic, and the talent of the cast was phenomenal! Do yourself a favor and catch this performance before it's gone!

The oldest running theatre in Michigan, some wonderful shows and good actors and actresses - gave it a four because even though most are adult themed shows, children, even babies, are allowed in, making the theatre experience tarnished by bored kids and a baby cries.

Very first time I came here was ANNIE on the 17th of August. At first I thought it was going to be a long afternoon. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for it to get going for me. I thought I was just going to see a bunch of kids getting up and out of their beds for 2+ hours. Then as it got going... I was like "hell yeah" this is awesome. The guy that played President Roosevelt had me rolling. Wheeling around in the wheel chair and singing 😂 It was a damn good afternoon there. Really looking forward to "Bonnie and Clyde" in October and my buddy said "There will probably be shooting"(blanks of course)"🤣

First time here and loved it! Well worth the hour drive for their productions.

My buddy and I headed to the Big House on August 30, 2025, for Michigan’s season opener against New Mexico, and it was a blast! The stadium was electric with over 110,000 fans rocking maize and blue, roaring from kickoff to the final whistle. We soaked in the buzz of the night game, watching freshman QB Bryce Underwood sling his first touchdown and Justice Haynes tear it up with three scores. The Wolverines dominated, 34-17, but New Mexico’s trick plays kept us on our toes. Tailgating at the golf course beforehand, swapping stories, and cheering with the crowd made it an unforgettable day at the largest stadium in the country!

Visited "The Big House" for the Zach Bryan concert while it was at max. capacity!! I was surprised there were no long lines for food & drinks because concession wraps around the entire stadium. Also, that goes for the bathroom facilities. It should make you feel safe there was plenty of S.W.A.T & Police everywhere from the stadium to all the intersections.

Michigan's Football Michigan Stadium aka the Big House is an impressive stadium for the 110,000 fans that can fit into the stadium. The Food/Beverage areas, Bathrooms, and other amenities are in the outside walkways that offer all the amenities for the massive crowd. Out the top three biggest stadiums in the Big 10, it's the quietest home crowd, but it's great for watching the game action!

I mean, it's the Big House. Who doesn't love watching their favorite college team with 110k+ of your best friends. The atmosphere is amazing, the people are kind, they sell high noon (and let libations). The food choices are plentiful but it is a LARGE stadium. So be prepared to walk. Cashless venue, as are almost all of them these days. Buy a ticket, get there early, talk to people, and have a great time!

Hands down the biggest facility I have ever been to. Parking was pretty simple and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Seating was pretty easy to navigate as well as concessions. Was there for the largest ticketed music event in history ( Zac Brian with John Mayer). It was amazing.

Beautiful stadium and super nice staff. We were with the visiting team (Fire Up Chips🔥) and everyone was very welcoming to us!

First time there it was really nice and a lot bigger than expected, I wemt there to watch my grand son play football had a blast!

I'm an alum. The education I received here 10 years ago as an engineer was less than stellar, but this institution has gone even more downhill since then. It's not a university anymore. It's a business. Capitulating to the Trump administration and getting rid of all its DEI initiatives is the final straw. They'll never get a penny from me again. They've completely forgotten that they're supposed to be champions of learning, and a beacon of free speech.

Overhyped school. Sometimes teaching is good, other times it's not. Overwhelming size of the school also makes it really difficult to get to know others and you will likely never get to know any of your professors. Although there are a lot of nice people here too, there are also a good number of people who are rude who will try to act as though they are better than you. Fans can be annoying at times as well. This school isn't exactly a beacon of progress either as they have recently rolled back all their DEI initiatives. Lack of windows in so many of the classrooms will also certainly leave you feeling "blue" (maybe that's what's really meant by "go blue").

The University of Michigan boasts one of the most stunning campuses in the world, offering not only breathtaking surroundings but also a vibrant, supportive community. I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home—both academically and personally. The student vibes and sense of camaraderie made the experience truly unforgettable.

Trying to get an appointment with your doctor is now even a longer process. When I call I need to be evaluated by a nurse before I can make an appointment. You are placed on hold for 3-6 minutes. I usually go to urgent care when sick because it is much easier than trying to get an appt at u of m. I need to look elsewhere for medical care. It’s really a shame because I really like my doctor, but impossible to get in. If I send medical email question, you are charged. Completely out of control. It’s not a pleasant experience.

Great university campus, happy students, friendly and ethnically-diverse atmosphere every time I've visited. Weighted against about ten comparable universities I've spent time around, this is in the top 3. Ann Arbor is a really nice place. :)

The best of college football. Had the priveledge of being almond vendor there with an old friend a few yrs back.

Great interactive museum for young and preteen children - great visuals with the exhibits and a good variety of topics. Visited on a Friday afternoon over spring break with a 5 & 7 year old. When you enter to the left is the welcome counter with a small gift shop and on the right lockers/coatracks and restrooms. 1st floor near the back is a vending machine and small eating area. Loved the musical steps, the water room on the 1st floor and displays of discovered firehouse items. Lots of activity on the 1st and 2nd floors with the 3rd floor only having a small room focused in light, and 4th floor 2 smaller spaces with a few displays. Very cool overall and would recommend.

I’ve visited the Hands-On Museum in Ann Arbor a couple of times, and each visit has been a fantastic experience! It’s the perfect spot to bring your kids for a fun-filled day of learning through play. The exhibits are interactive, educational, and designed to spark curiosity in science and technology. The environment is welcoming, clean, and family-friendly, with something new to explore around every corner. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, the Hands-On Museum offers an engaging way for children (and adults!) to learn through hands-on discovery. Highly recommend for a weekend outing or school break adventure!

We love this place. Our grandchildren have a year long pass. Definitely come here with your children or grandchildren.

Visted here with the family during the week. Lots of learning experiences with interactive excercises. Kids loved running around trying everything out. Clean and organized for a place that children have their hands on everything. Little shop at the entrance. Vending machines with small sitting area availiable. Staff were super friendly. Will return.

Overall, this is a wonderful spot for families — everything was functioning well, and the hands-on exhibits came with quick, easy-to-follow instructions that even young kids could enjoy. The staff was friendly, and the entire area was clean and well-maintained. I did take one star off because we specifically came for the Gabby’s Dollhouse experience, expecting a fully decorated STEAM-themed room, but it turned out to be just a single table for making cat ears. That said, it’s still a fantastic place for families with toddlers to around age 8. Kids can explore and learn how the world works — from sound waves and electricity to gears and pulleys. It’s a fun, educational outing for the whole family.

Great time, I would like a little more reading panels with some vocabulary words, but it was a great time for my kids 1-14. I and several other adults were also interacting with the exhibits. There are plenty of places to fiĺl water and bathrooms near all the fun stuff. Bring shoes to get wet and a snack as you'll be here a while because of how great the place is.

Friendly people. Very interactive and open to all ages. Even the adults can have fun learning about the mechanics of the world we live in. Kids probably could have spent the whole day at the water play station

Very peaceful! The bathroom and shower area is clean. You will see staff throughout that goes over and beyond keep the area clean. Splash pad was really nice our family loves it. Food court reasonably priced and food tastes good too. Few trails for to walk/bike off the food. They even have bike rentals. We set in the parking lot and had a picnic so we had lots of fun.

Beautiful park with so much to do. We love the little farm and all the different playgrounds. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can check out the beach and splash pad. Great place to take family pictures too.

Nice park, but I am very annoyed with how fast people drive through here. They tailgate you in 25mph zones and zoom around like they own the place. Unfortunately, this place has a shortage of police officers. I know this problem can be fixed if they were able to hire more bodies.

Excellent metropark! I grew up in Milford so I know this one well. Tons of amazing walking/biking lanes and trails, lots of good fishing areas, and there's no lack of excellent picnic spots. The nature center is great. Make sure to say hi to Ranger the falcon while there! He's just the best. The farm area is awesome as well. Seeing all the animals is a blast. Sometimes they'll be out to pasture though so be prepared to have some unavailable for viewing haha. Autumn is a glorious time to visit. The colors that you'll see throughout the park are insane. Nice to just kayak out and fish, lay back and enjoy the scenery. Have fun!

Kensington Metropark is a fantastic place to spend the day with friends and family! The beach is clean and enjoyable, perfect for cooling off on a sunny day. Kids will absolutely love the splash pad—it’s fun, safe, and very well-kept. Just note that there’s a small entry fee for both kids and adults at the splash area. Boating is another highlight here. Whether you’re into kayaking, paddle boating, or just enjoying the views from the water, it’s a relaxing experience. The park charges a $10 entrance fee per vehicle, which is very reasonable considering the facilities and scenery. The restrooms are well maintained and clean, which is always a big plus. Overall, it’s a great spot for picnics, outdoor activities, and simply spending quality time outdoors. Highly recommend for a day trip or weekend outing!

This Metro Park is one of the most soothing parks in Michigan. The walking and bike trail go on for miles! The lake is calm and inviting. During the day most of the people are polite and getting much needed exercise. I recommend this State Park.

Really pretty place that's well maintained with excellent staff. Plenty of parking and lots of places to set up for all dayblong fun tent covers, grills and tables. The bike paths are paved and really well taken care of. Easy to follow the bike paths lead all around the entire park allowing a fun day of exploring with ease.

Did the stay and play. Beautiful drive in to a stunning club house. Everything was kept in very nice shape, pro shop had anything you could have needed. Every staff member was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant / bar has a great selection of food and drinks and very reasonable prices. Beautiful patio. Stellar 27 hole golf course, challenging but rewarding. Course was in phenomenal shape!!. Will definitely play here again!!!

This is one of the top premier public courses in Oakland County. With 27 holes, you'll see a challenging but playable championship style layout. The course is always kept up very well with clean tee boxes, well groomed fairways and rough, and greens that are humbling but fun. The clubhouse is spacious with a nice pro shop and facilities. The banquet center is a beautiful design for your special event needs and friendly staff

We had our wedding here in August 2025 and it was absolutely amazing. From our wedding coordinator Alex who had every single detail managed flawlessly throughout the entire process to the amazing staff who executed our vision on the day of... everything was perfect. We truly had zero stress on the day of due to our coordinator and the staff at Shepherd's. The process of planning and selections leading up to the wedding was also seamless and they really help guide everything and ensure no details get missed. The food and drinks were all incredible. The setting was unbelievable with the pine trees surrounding the gorgeous glass building. We highly recommend this venue and would happily have our wedding there all over again!

Fairy Tale Escape on the Greens This golf course is a serene retreat, surrounded by majestic pine trees that create a magical, peaceful setting. The course is well-kept and enjoyable to play, but the real highlight is the charming dining area like something out of a fairy tale. A perfect blend of nature, sport, and elegance.

We had our wedding reception at Shepherd’s Hollow and it was truly a dream come true! From early on, we knew we wanted to get married here and booked them within a week of getting engaged. From the very start, Alex was so easy and professional to work with and understood our vision for making our day as special as it was. She was quick to communicate, had tons of vendor recommendations, advice, and just a fun energy to work with. Our wedding day was everything I ever wanted and more - it took our breath away and was the best day of our entire life. If felt like a fairytale - so classy, timeless, elegant, and romantic. The staff went above and beyond with every detail and their high class service. Numerous family and friends commented how this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. It was a magical day that we will cherish forever💙

I have mixed feelings about Shepherd’s Hollow. While the course is scenic and has a reputation for being one of the nicer tracks in the area, my recent experience didn’t quite live up to the hype—especially at the $130 price point. First, the pace of play was a bit too intense. We felt rushed throughout the round, even though the weather wasn’t ideal—it was raining, and the course was freshly cut, which made it tough to play. We weee told by the ranger if we don’t speed up only 13 minutes behind, we were going to have to skip a hole. We were constantly wiping down balls and clubs, which naturally slows things down. Still, there wasn’t much leniency from the rangers. Also worth noting: they don’t allow beer carts on the weekend, apparently to keep things moving, which makes things even more challenging under wet conditions. Course conditions themselves were disappointing. The greens had a lot of unrepaired divots, and the tee boxes—especially on the par 3s—were in rough shape with little to no grass in spots. At that price, you’d expect better maintenance. Overall, I think the course takes itself a bit too seriously without delivering the premium experience it charges for.

We are a planning and floral team from Minneapolis, working with Jenna and the team at SH was such a wonderful experience. From the initial communication through the wedding day itself, Jenna was organized, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful in her approach. She clearly cares deeply about her couples and their experience, and it showed in every detail. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly elevated the day was Jenna’s support behind the scenes. She was calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented — the kind of partner every planner hopes to have on a wedding day. She handled everything with such grace, even when unexpected challenges came up, and made sure the couple and their guests had a seamless, beautiful experience. Though we're not based in Detroit, I’d recommend this venue and Jenna in a heartbeat to anyone planning in the area. It was truly a pleasure, and I hope we have the opportunity to work together again in the future!

The Purple Rose Theater is a delight to our senses and our brain. It is a Jewel and transformative to our community and city. The building is genius Design that embraced a rugged old building and a modern functional expansion new-build. It is a pleasure for every person who spends time in it. Working as Performers or Supportive Staff or Visitors enjoying and experiencing a theatrical Play or Event. Magnificent! Our senses delight with every seat a comfortable view direct and unobstructed, an intimate view of the entire stage and audience seating. All, and all at once. Magnificent! When you take your seat look around, soak it in, and enjoy it. It is a delightful pleasure, the best for fully experiencing and enjoying Theater Performances. My wife and I did on our first visit for Bert & Trixie Visit the Vet. Last night, our second visit, we enjoyed Norma and Wanda. Surprising. Fun. High Energy! We were captivated and thoroughly entertained. We left happy and grateful we have such great theater access near our new home in Chelsea. We LOVE it.

Just a gem 💎 of a place. Today (9/29/24) was our third visit. So what makes it a 💎? Well, it's a doable day trip if your in the tricounty area I-94 Exit #159 5 minutes north. Abundant parking abounds. (free) Thought that only existed in Monopoly. Today's play, which opened on 9/26/24 Was a Jeff Daniels screenplay he wrote from a " up north". Newspaper headline he had read on MLive.Com. He wrote and directed it, his son Luke was the A. D. Both Daniels men, were in the house, plus did a 1/2 hour talk back. Since this was premiere week, they wanted honest open feedback. Office Christmas Party, Grinch in fight with Rudolph, police called was a hoot. Casting was excellent. ( 4 actors) Great lighting Superb blocking Nice cadence, tempo, diction. Some surprises as well. 90 minutes No intermission. Arrive 10-15 minutes early as no access once the curtain rises. Matter of fact come 2 hours early. Eat at the Common Grill, walk the downtown, visit the library. Tickets were a bargain at $43 a seat with a slight $2 fee. Props to Adam Graham and the Detroit News for promoting this play and the Purple Rose. As the back story is/was Mr. J. Daniels considered pulling the plug as rebounding post covid was not easy. Props to the gal's at the Box Office Plus several volunteer ushers. Place is clean and inviting. This venue is, cozy, quaint and just the perfect balance.

Small intimate venue, comfortable seats, and good etiquette. The play I saw was Bert & Trixie Visit The Vet. It was so funny! My friends and I were in tears with laughter and the actors were fantastic

This is a great theatre in terms of size, layout and productions. I believe it seats 168 people, The seats surround the stage on three sides. This gives everyone an intimate view of the play. The lobby is nice as are the restrooms. I've been attending performances at the Purple Rose Theatre since the 1990s. Be sure you see a production there.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Preview performance of Diva Royal at the Purple Rose Theater, written and directed by Jeff Daniels. I took my mother, and we both had a wonderful time. We lost my father only a couple months ago so just like Jeff said "We needed a laugh". The show is a hilarious and heartwarming comedy. The cast is superb, and Daniels' direction is spot-on. While the show may seem to be tailored to older women, I assure you that it is enjoyable for audiences of all ages and genders. The humor is universal, and the characters are relatable. I was particularly impressed by the Q&A session with Jeff Daniels after the show. He was gracious and insightful, and he shared some great stories about his career. Overall, I highly recommend Diva Royal. It is a well-written, well-acted, and well-directed show that will leave you laughing and feeling good. PS I hope you enjoy the photos I took before and after the show. I understand the rules about video and photography, so I made sure to only take pictures when the show wasn't in progress.

Fantastic theater. A local treasure. But I'm motivated to submit my review now because I just saw their current play, Bert and Trixie Visit the Vet. I wasn't quite certain what to expect from this play when I bought the tickets and I admit to hoping for a merely diverting 90 minutes, but wow was I surprised. The play was hilariously funny and heartwarming. My husband and I and the entire rest of the audience were literally gasping for air from laughing so hard. It ranks as one of the top 3 most funny performances I've ever seen anywhere. Treat yourself and your family and friends to something really special and GO SEE THIS PLAY before it's too late.

The Purple Rose is a great venue and we have enjoyed several performances over the years. Norma & Wanda is not one of them. Bawdy and suggestive can be funny, but this was disapointingly crude. F bombs? Really? We look forward to the quality dialog we are used to, in the next offering.

My visit was perfect. Checked in at first bldg on right. Then went to end of the street on L to get loaded. Check in went relatively fast. Free boxes of cornbread mix was cool. In and out of door quickly. Load was heavy, but loaded correctly. 43,700.

There is a blonde haired woman driving on the 94 highway at 10:53am today while on her phone swerving and hitting the rumple strips several times in a Jiffy Mix truck. Absolutely dangerous and irresponsible. Please address this.

A very bad company has been loading for more than 4 hours and they say, We haven’t loaded you yet, it’s very difficult to load until the end, it’s slow, it’s just a mess. The manager is very rude towards the drivers. It’s better not to go here unless you are willing to wait more than 4-5 hours ..I wouldn’t even give such companies one star; they work very slowly.

On Feb. 14, 2021 I opened 4 boxes of Jiffy Mix, 2 Apple Cinnamon ( sell by 9/12/21 - C 02563B) and 2 Raspberry Mixes (sell by 4/25/21 - C 0116B) added 1 egg, I looked down at the mix and saw 20 bugs crawling around in the mix. So disgusting. My grandchildren were discussed and disappointed. That should not be happening. If I didn't look we wouldn't have seen them until after The bread was cooked ( yuck). Extra spots in the bread. They were big enough to see. LOOK OUT PEOPLE!

Call me crazy but I made sure on a trip from Colorado that I hit the Jiffy tour. I loved it as I’m into going to random interesting places. They got the coolest gear and the tour ain’t half bad!

What a super fun tour! The kids didn't mind the video and the tour was fun. We got gift bags and was able to purchase more. We got a variety pack and was not disappointed 😍. Our tour guide was upbeat and informational.

We had a great time apple picking at Spicer’s! Lots of fun activities for the kids, good cider and the best donuts ever! The orchard trees are all short which allowed even our 4 year old to enjoy picking.

I had such a fantastic experience at this apple orchard! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Everyone was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a great visit. The prices are very reasonable — much better than other orchards I've been to. Whether you're picking your own apples or buying them from their market, you definitely get great value for your money. They do a wristband system for pick your own, one person free and then $5 per person after. When you finish picking they weigh your berries and it’s $3.95 per pound. The absolute highlight of our visit were the fresh, hot donuts and cold Apple cider! They had options to please everyone’s sweet tooth whether you want a classic cinnamon sugar, powered sugar or just plain. They even had glazed strawberry donuts during strawberry season. Great prices and helpful staff, we purchased a half gallon of cider for for $8.95 and a dozen donuts for $12.95. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were. They gave us great tips on the best apple varieties for baking versus snacking, we were even given an apple to try when we couldn’t make up our minds on what to get. You can tell they love what they do and want to make sure every guest leaves happy. Highly recommend this orchard for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun and affordable day outdoors. We’ll definitely be coming back in the fall!

They have 4 different tastes 🍩. Actually you can get half dozen bags or you can ask custom orders like me. I loved cinnamon one the best. And also plain one was very crispy I loved it!!!

DISAPPOINTING AND RUDE STAFF Prices are kind of high on a bunch of stuff, especially their fresh baked apples. They want $18.95 for a small bag. Not a 5 lb bag or anything like that. Like a 2 lb bag of apples so that's a first turn off Very overpriced on everything We get to the donuts and the donuts smell really good. They look really good. They're fairly priced-ish. I will say just for a very small strawberry donut you know $6 for a half dozen 1295 for a dozen. Something like that. The donuts do not have any flavor at all. They are just like eating paper I got a six pack of strawberry donuts and a six pack of defrosted strawberry donuts. The frosted ones are pretty good but all you can taste is the frosting. There is no strawberry flavor at all The regular unfrosted strawberry donuts have literally no flavor at all. There's no strawberry. There's no donut flavor. They're not sweet. They're just paper dough . Not one person said anything to us walking into the store or by the donut area. We got to the ice cream area. Once again nobody we went to the fudge area once again. Nobody around one employee came walking by didn't even acknowledge us We got to the barbecue sausage and stuff like that and I had to ask a lady at the front. Does the barbecue sauces have mustard because I am highly allergic to mustard on their ingredients list. All they have is some of the ingredients and then a category of spices, which in most cases means they use mustard But when you ask somebody they have no clue. So she basically told me in her opinion she would not buy any because it could have mustard in it because they don't specifically say it does or not So when you're told by an employee not to buy something then you just don't so I avoided that We asked that same employee did it cost anything to go pick strawberries She said no. You paid $2 for a cardboard box you go out you pick the strawberries and you come back and they weigh the strawberries and you pay them then We go out. I use a cane and a walker to get around and I tell you what if you are disabled or have a hard time walking or getting around in rough terrain. Avoid this it's hard for disabled people to do We get up to the front to pay and we are charged $5 for the wristbands that we were not told about. We were told they were free $2 for the box and $4 a pound for the strawberries which we were told about the $2 box and the $4 a pound for strawberries but not told about the $5 for the wristbands we were told they were free We go over to the winery and I will tell you this. I will never walk back into that winery again. Customer service was non- existent we were not greeted. We were completely ignored There were two gentlemen at the bar who apparently had been drinking for a while. There were two ladies at the other end of the bar who had like 10 bottles of wine and the one customer service lady there stuck with them the whole time. She did not check on anybody else. She didn't say anything to us until about 10 minutes of us sitting there in silence The older lady was extremely rude and snippy and stuck up. You can tell she did not want us there. She didn't care about us. She walked over in front of us three or four different times. Never even lifted her eyes to look at us We were going to get a couple samples of wine because we had never been there. So I asked for a sample of the honey white and she had to go get little plastic cups. She didn't say anything about hold on We asked for a sample of wine and the older lady was very rude about saying you can only have two She was very snotty and rude about it when she came back over after we had our two sips of wine and didn't even ask us if we wanted anything else. Just stared at us awkwardly I said we're good. I said my wife was going to ask about the mojito apple cider But doesn't want to spend that kind of money if it isn't any good. And she just looked at us and said it's just minty and then walked away from us We walked out and will never walk into the winery part again

We visited Spicer Orchards for the first time yesterday. My husband and I took our two young kids and met my mom here since it was so nice outside. Some people on here complain about the $5 wristbands, but I personally think it's not a bad price for what you get if you take advantage of what they offer. My son had a wonderful time playing on the playground for a long time and especially loved the sand/dirt area. The animals were very cute and friendly, and my son lovingly referred to the cow as "big fella", haha. Everywhere we went seemed to be well maintained and clean. The gentleman doing the tractor rides was so nice and offered to take our pictures after the hay ride and chat with us. The store was a little narrow for strollers, but we were able to manage fine since it wasn't packed (but still had a lot of people for a weekday, in my opinion). It was all very organized and they really make sure to take advantage of the space that they have. We got to try samples of fudge, and the watermelon and maple bacon flavors I felt were very unique and delicious. They have fresh donuts in bags on the back counter, and we could tell that the pumpkin cinnamon were very popular. We had no problem waiting a few minutes for those, and they were very tasty and fresh, along with the cider. Now, we picked up a blueberry pie to take home, and this is what prompted me to write this long winded review. The pies were still warm when we picked them off the table, so they were fresh. I don't normally like fruit pies, but I've now come to realize that is because I never had good fruit pies. This is hands down the best one I've had, and my mom who got an apple pie said the same thing. Wow! My dad was bummed he couldn't come with us this time, but we will for sure be back when the food trucks are here, to do more wagon rides and u pick, and to pick out pumpkins. Spicers is definitely a new favorite cider mill for us. 🙂

Went there today. It was fun for the kids. BEAUTIFUL PLACE. They really did a great job with all the activities, and you never had to wait too long for a tractor ride to pick you up. However, I know that this is the big season for the local farmers and orchards right now. I get that the prices are high for the season. This is when they make most of their money for the year. I love supporting family-owned businesses like this. What I didn't like was the price the food vendors were charging. A walking taco was $14, and a 16-oz drink was $4.00. Make sure to eat before you go. It's crazy getting three drinks and two walking tacos, and it came out to $44. Bubble Tea for one drink was $9, and the funnel cake was $10.00. Get a big purse and bring your own food. I won't be price gouged like that again.

First time visitor and I fell in love! This was the choose location for our bookclub meeting and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was was lovely, just so happened to have live music today. The staff were amazing, friendly and so helpful! Great wine selections and very tasty food options. Our table had a few grazing options and they were all so good that I had to get everything to take home as well! Definitely recommend 🫶🏼

My husband and I recently visited Sandhill Crane Vineyards and enjoyed the most wonderful food and drink. The staff there is outstanding and treat you as if you are family. They always have perfect suggestions for wines you may like to try. We especially loved speaking with Chef Jake who now heads Kitchen Little at Sandhill Crane. His focaccia bread was out of this world, and his cinnamon rolls were absolutely to die for! We can’t wait to go back and try more of his delicious creations.Everyone employee there goes above and beyond for their customers. You will never be disappointed when you visit this very special winery.

A Must-Visit Hidden Gem in Michigan! I came from out of state to visit my family and we wanted a fun atmosphere to get some good grub and drinks. We found this quaint winery and let me tell you, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The wine was outstanding, the live music added a perfect vibe, and the food from Kitchen Little? Incredible. We started with two cheese boards (yes, two — they were that good), followed by a variety of sandwiches that were hearty, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the wine. And the highlight? My dad got the biggest cinnamon roll we’ve ever seen! It’s so big it was practically a local landmark on its own! Every detail, from the atmosphere to the friendly staff, made this a fantastic and memorable experience. Whether you’re a wine lover, foodie, or just looking for a great spot to relax, this place delivers. Highly recommend making the trip — you won’t regret it!

A very nice vineyard. The wine is great. My favorite is the blue skies. They also have a small variety of cider and beer to choose from as well. The charcuterie boards are well out together, and the food is decent. My pizza was actually really good. I wish the panini had a better crust on it. Overall decent food. My only complaint is the pricing on the food. 23$ for the charcuterie and 16$ for my flatbread pizza. The pizza was tasty. The picture below is special they had which is Parmesan sauce with feta cheese, mozzarella, onions, mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Which I did enjoy, however I feel it was a little overpriced for the portion size. 12$ would be more reasonable. They have live music and game nights. I've been here 3 times and have enjoyed myself every time.

I loved this Winery&Cafe! Excellent wine and the food was even BETTER. The homemade Cinnamon rolls were my favorite. Live music and an amazing vibe. 12/10 would recommend. Can't wait to return!!

Awesome spot! Everything here is wonderful. The food is on point, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, and the property is beautiful. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and are always happy to help you find a wine you'll love. I'd highly recommend a visit.

We visited from out of town, everyone was super friendly and kind when we walked in. However, the systems were down due to a storm on 6/27/25 so we paid cash. I realized afterward that the female cashier shorted me $10. My total was $50.88 and I gave her $70 and she gave me $9.12 it is what it is but I am sure the drawer was over this day due to this

This theatre is absolutely disgusting. My feet are literally STUCK to rhe floor of theatre 14. I am RIPPING them off the floor everytime I move and it makes so much noise. They're incredibly gross and sticky. I will never come back here. Well continue going to Emagine in Birch run.

I love this movie theater! It's great for going with friends or family, or just hanging out. One of the things I like most is that it has reclining seats that you can lie down in, making it perfect for a relaxed and comfortable movie experience. The screen and sound quality are also excellent, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the film. Plus, the atmosphere is cozy and modern, making it an ideal spot for a night out with loved ones. Definitely one of my favorite movie theaters!

Clean theater, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our movie 🍿🎥 and snacks. Pricing for two at a 5pm movie with a snack package totalled about $50, so not exactly cheap but a lot of fun.

Caught a Monday matinee showing of the new Superman movie in IMAX at NCG Cinema in Grand Blanc, and overall it was a great experience. The theater was very clean and pleasantly quiet—definitely a perk of seeing an early-week movie. The popcorn was fresh (no stale kernels here), and the ICEE machines were working perfectly, which isn’t always a given these days. The staff seemed on top of their game, and everything felt well-maintained. That said, the cost is getting steep. One ticket, a small popcorn, and a large ICEE ran me about $30. It’s a bit of a hit to the wallet for a solo movie trip, even for a matinee. The film itself was solid—great visuals and action—and the IMAX screen really did it justice. Between the spotless theater and the quality snacks, I left feeling like it was worth the outing, but definitely something I’ll treat as an occasional splurge.

overall, a nice place. employees are nice, not so much when it comes to other customers. popcorn is always good and i like that they have butter machines that you can add more if you would like.

It's a nice theater. But they need more staff at the ticket counter. The staff was friendly. Could be kept cleaner around the beverage table, but it wasn't anything horrible. Seating isn't the most comfortable, but there is plenty of it. And it's nice that the arm of the chair can be put up.

The best movie theater in the area. We saw an IMAX movie here, and they did a great job making the entrance more grand than ever before. By this, I mean that they significantly improved the look of the entrance to the IMAX theater. The staff is always friendly, the theaters are nice, and the restrooms are always clean.

My husband liked to come up here, usually at night when it was quiet to do laps around the mall. Their new security shined a flashlight in my car and questioned what I was doing. I was told we cannot be here at this time anymore. Really??? We never had an issue running here at night when it was owned by tanger. It was a safe, lit up area to do something as simple as run. We have shopped here for 25+ years. You won’t be getting my business anymore.

Don't let your Wife or significant other drag you here. Endless amount of stores and deals to be had. You will have hours upon hours of every store telling you what percent off they have. I think they always have items discounted year round. I didn't see anywhere to eat or just get a snack. I would watch your belongings. It seemed to me that there were several people casing places and acting weird in the stores like they were trying to get a five finger discount. Not worth going to if you have a long drive.

This Outlet mall is conveniently located off Interstate 96 between Detroit and Lansing. It has the usual clothing and shoe stores, but also some resale shops - IMO very important during these days when prices are so high elsewhere. They used to be part of the Tanger Outlet group, but they’re working to make it even better.

They have a good amount of stores. I do love visiting this outlet, but I’m disappointed that the Tommy Hilfiger stores is permanently closed. I’m not sure if this is due to the retailer choosing to close the store or if the buy out of the outlets caused them to close due to certain factors.

Great Outlet Mall. (Ised yo be Tanger Outlet) Love the layout, there is lots of parking if you prefer to park at a specific store ... OR for those who enjoy walking its a fabulous way to get some exercise as you visit the stores!

Really enjoyed the shops and mini golf! Me and my 3 yr old did a few holes and then got free ice cream! Nice promotion for July. Since we had a membership I was free and kids under 6 are free for mini golf. It was a nice time outside:)

Previously Tanger Outlet, the same brands. Ample parking spots. Easy access from highway. Good selection though not as many as the big ones

Used a Groupon to get a great price. $22 for 4 of us. The 8 and 9 year old were spooked on entry because you can see actual prisoners walking the yard across the street and I myself was unsure if the other connected cell blocks had prisoners. The kids fearfully entered. All 3 kids enjoyed it , the other kid is 12, as did I. It is self guided with scavenger hunts for different age groups including adults. You can make it a 30 minute tour or a 1.5 hr tour depending on how much you want to read. The cells and prison hall appear to be as they were 10 yrs ago when this block closed.We spent 1.5 hrs and then enjoyed Culvers

Very interesting, gives you a new perspective on prison life. Lots if other interesting exhibits throughout. Cannot take pictures on grounds just to forewarn anyone. But definitely something worth checking out.

Very informative and self-paced. We're a family of four with two children, ages 8 & 10, and we all enjoyed our visit...we spent about two hours touring. The only "scare" for our children was seeing the inmates enjoying time outside when we pulled into the parking lot. Aside from that, we like this museum and would recommend it.

Very interesting tour, I have toured a couple other prisons both in the US and abroad. Each was a unique experience. Very interesting to see the intake process, then the cell block itself. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, parking was easy to find and ample. One note. No cameras or phones on the tour.

It's wonderful. The glass blowing demonstration is educational and fun! Many great items and not many people, which makes a great place to enjoy arts.

I was there today and had a very good time. The staff were pleasant. The artwork was magnificent. The food was good. I expect to go back many times, because there is more for me to see.

This museum is located on the quiet and beautiful street of museum campus. Very approachable museum with great art collections. Love the nice staff there.

This is a surprising gem to find in the city of Flint. The FIA is truly an amazing oasis filled with stellar exhibits. The entrance fee is quite reasonable. If this museum were bigger its only local rival would be the Detroit Institute of Art. The one thing this place has that Detroit does not is an adjacent section dedicated to blowing glass. I think its worth the drive from the Detroit area to visit and I believe this is the areas newest modern museum.

A gem of an art museum! For a small town, this is an incredible art museum. The variety of exhibits the day we visited, the incredible quality of various sculptures dispersed throughout the building, and even a life glass making demonstration made for a very memorable visit. The standard that this art museum presented was a very pleasant surprise! Definitely worth your visit if you’re around the area and looking for an enriching experience!

We went to see the “Enchanted: A History of Fantasy Illustration” exhibit, which was great and fun for the whole family. We didn’t know that they had an ongoing glass blowing presentation by the UM-Flint students, so we were all delighted to sit through their expressive performance. Had a wonderful afternoon. Will come back again.

Such a nice museum, loved the exhibits which are very inspiring and intricately put together. Visited on a weekend and the entry was free. Moreover they have art school and different programs for engagement of the visitors. The gift shop had very cute things to shop for. The highlight would be their glass exhibit with exceptional masterpieces!

Went to Sweet Peaces for some vegan eats. Had the lentil soup and the vegan snickers! They were both amazing! The woman who helped us - great customer service! The rest of the Market was busy, and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Many of the kiosk-keepers made eye contact and greeted us as we passed by. A very welcoming experience for us 'out-of-towners'.

I didn't know this was called the Farmers Market, we were on the part called "The Bricks". It is so nice to see downtown revitalized and thriving. We had fun!

Love this new farmer's market, something new every week, and definitely something for everyone. It is a great step up for Flint. Can't wait for our next visit.

First time and i loved all the different things u can find! Plants, food, desserts, bakery, fresh smoothies, etc. I got fresh popcorn and gluten free cookies! And some sourdough. Will def be back love the vibes in there. Theres a big parking lot outside and there’s also sellers.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. Venue and staff are amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an event space with endless possibilities for implementing your own style in your event. The park across the street, as well as the street itself, make perfect places for event photography. Thanks to Janelle, Helen and Karen for making our wedding process magical

A wonderful place with a great selection. I went for veggies. Got just what I wanted. And also got some very tasty strawberry cheesecake. They were busy but shopping and checkout was fast.

This farmers market was a definite highlight of our visit to Flint. There was a large variety of vendors and food, and produce that I have never seen before. The sandwich made of Arepas was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back there if I’m in the area. The only downside of it is that it is open so few days a week!

This was my first time going and my first time ever trying to get tickets. Let’s start with the good things. The staff is super friendly and organized at the station, everyone really enjoys working there, even the conductors and the staff that goes in every single carriage. I had the “cheapest” tickets and still it was pricey. They did gave me hot cocoa which I thought it was extra. The negative of this experience or things that I would have done different. - the train was behind an hour, people were waiting in the cold for an hour…I wish they told people before - they only have two restrooms inside!!! It took me 20 min. And they have portal potty’s outside, but still with the people they get I’m shock only two. - if you have small children I’ll call ahead and ask for a 4 seater. I wish I did this! - Ashley was so so so disappointed, the food was terrible and I agree with the vendors, not enough vendors that were about Polar express theme, which was disappointed. - The line for Santa was so long that when we went he wasn’t “available” anymore! -I’ll bring my own water and my own food - again not enough bathrooms and the portal potties are dirty. - they don’t have enough small children activities, and they have a slide and a carrousel but it’s 3 dolls for each time they go, even the slide which is pricey. I get that this what mostly people depend on their income but it needs a major improve, specially for the price you pay. Again, it’s so disappointed for families with small children about the quality of food, the activities and the environment. It’s sad that I didn’t feel like it was Christmasy or “North Pole”.

This was a great event for the family! Roger made it such a special event for us. Very hard to get tickets, but very much worth it. Best to have one person purchase all the tickets for a group. Thanks for making my sons wishes come true.

It was quite an experience here I've been wanting to go here for years. Not sure why but I finally made it only to see The polar Express was getting maintenance done so sorry to say this year I don't think there's going to be rides with this train pulling anyone. The wheels were completely off the train. Our tour guide that we had which is very informative about everything. I really enjoyed all he was telling me. I wish I could remember his name but he said that in my lifetime I'll never see this happen again to The polar Express train that was the train that featured in The polar Express movie. So next year I will have to go for a ride.

We attended the Christmas in July event and had so much fun exploring the trains and riding the mini train. We came early and so we didn't get to watch the movie. But the tour, mini trains and train musuem was totally worth it!! This was a free event when we went unless you wanted to ride the big train that was $5 a person.

This was our first trip on the Pere Marquette. We choose the swivel chairs which turned out to be an excellent choice for comfort and viewing. The staff in our car and elsewhere were incredibly friendly and made the trip fun. The town of Ashley is definitely geared towards children but it's fun to check out the small stores. Overall, it was a fun experience.

The North Pole Express was a magical experience. We went with a group of my Mom-Friends and our kids. We got the seats in the dining cars. The kids sipped on hot cocoa, had delicious treats brought to us on the on the way there and back. The staff in our car (Holly) lead Christmas songs and shared historical information about the train. The conductor came around on the way home and signed the Polar Express book that we bought in Ashley. Ashley completely transformed into the North Pole. All of the staff and vendors there were so incredibly joyful and in character! I was so impressed, it was Disney level commitment. There was a free magic show there, the Grinch, shops, rides, a toy shop where kids could make a toy and so many nods to the Polar Express movie. We loved it! Worth every penny and we will definitely do this again. Also making a trip back to Ashley because we didn’t get to do everything. If you go, definitely wear your pajamas like in the movie! Lots of people do this or wear matching shirts and holiday hats, necklaces, etc. You can bring snacks on the train, so that is great. Water bottles and non-sugary snacks are a good idea for the kiddos.

November 2021 - family of 5 went on the Polar express. We went on a Saturday night and had a blast. My 3 daughters are under 10. We went on Vixen and the 2 young ladies did a great job keep us entertained. We go to Ashley, MI. Its a small town and we went right to Santa. Didn't wait long. A lot of things for the kids to do. The volunteers are wonderful. You can make or buy items there. You can get food. We plan on doing this again next year with more family and friends. Tickets normally go on sale in the spring.
