Left after 2nd inning....life long Mets fan, very disappointed. Was always a dream to visit here, big let down. Just moved to the area so this was on the top of the bucket list. Most annoying was Q-tip old timers in section 205 refusing to let people sit in the seats they purchased. Its reserved seating, not first come first served. What are you supposed to do with a bunch of geriatrics on their last legs though? Heard the argument over seating for the 4th time and just took the family and went home before things got ugly. No usher presence didn't help matters. Plus half the stadium was closed off for renovations compounding issues. Food options were decent, that was about the highlight. Wish this night ended differently, will probably be going to Rays, or Tortugas games moving forward.

Great stadium but they need to be more prepared for an abundance of fans they ran out of Nathan’s fries on the second game of spring training. But all and all great too bring the family

Excellent show of history dedicated to those who served. Stories told you probably didn't even know about, tons of cool artillery and history you get to experience unlike other museums that we've been to. My personal favorite was the boats they had outside on display and some of the weapons they had inside of the building. If you are in the area or if you have an interest in this stuff I highly recommend giving this place a check out to see some truly incredible things.

Had a great day visiting this amazing museum. I went with two marines brothers and the site is great. Be prepared for a long visit, at least if you like to check every exhibit and read the whole history about, due they share all the data and items are plenty. The store I believe it could have more stuff but stills fine. 💯 % recommendable

A lovely visit to this museum right next to the beach by the way a huge plus…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ the outdoor exhibits are free to wander, able to enter the huge ship was a nice touch - I did enjoy taking pictures from the height of the ship, they had educational videos about war & the ship’s history. The outdoor was a nice walk & it had an obstacle course for the kids. The inside was $16/but they offered military discounts. All items have been donated and actually used somehow in someway so that was interesting. Well maintained but did spend more time outside than inside. A day out visit was worth it!!!

Love the interactive displays. Great history sections like a real natural museum. Memories of the O course was something. Great memorial plaque wall. And all the challenge coins I ever heard of

Don’t let the size fool you this place is packed with awesome history! Carve out about 2-3hrs there is a lot to see and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Phenomenal museum show casing the sacrifices we “entitled” Americans take for granted to live free, love this place and makes me proud to be a Floridian!

It is a very interesting place that I could spend a lot of time reading and learning about Navy Seal as there're so many exhibits and historical artifacts. There're nice and clean restrooms inside and also a gift shop.

Excellent setup for different eras of the Seals in action, did close early for the veterans memorial next door in the park.

My wife and I camped here for two nights on 17-19 August, 2025. I booked the reservation online about a month prior to our visit using the Florida State Park's app. I had tried to camp here last winter, (snowbird season) and it was booked solid from December through March. We arrived at the park about noon, but the Ranger at the office would not let us check in early. She did however, allow us to drop our travel trailer in the parking lot beside the park office so we could drive down to nearby Vero Beach to do some exploring. We got back to the park at about 5:00 pm, got checked in, and set up in our Campsite (#9), which was overlooking the water, but had zero shade trees around it (and it was very hot during our stay). The site had water and electric hookups, but as with most Florida State Parks, you had to use a dump station near the campground exit to empty your holding tank. The restroom/shower facility was only about a 75 yard walk away, and it was clean and had good hot water pressure and decent ventilation (but no air conditioning). This is a very nice State Park and its very popular, particularly with surfers and saltwater fishermen. The beaches on both the north and south sides of the inlet are nice, but you have to be careful when there is any kind of storm brewing in the Atlantic because they rip currents can get very dangerous. There is also a nice and calm swimming lagoon on the north side and to the west of US Hwy A1A where it's safe for kids to swim. There are also lots of pavilions and picnic tables available. There is a concession building on the north side of the inlet near the jetty, but it's still closed after getting ravaged by hurricanes over the past few years. We did notice there were two food truck vendors parked in the area under the north off ramp of the bridge. It does get very hot and buggy here during the summer months, but the winter months in this area are delightfully pleasant with low humidity and mostly clear skies. If you are "Glamper" like my wife and I (i.e., we don't cook at the campsite, but rather dine out), then you will have to drive about 12 miles south to Vero Beach, or about 15 miles north to Melbourne Beach to find any restaurants. Vero Beach has several very good restaurants that run the full gambit of shabby to sheik. Melbourne Beach only has a small handful, but we at a place up there called Sand on the Beach that wasn't too bad.

Sebastian Inlet State Park is a special place. There are two sections of the park: one north of the inlet bridge with ocean beach access, food concessions, and a swimming cove on the inlet side and one south of the bridge that offers a campground, fishing museum, gift shop, bike trails, boat launch, and fishing piers. The facilities are clean and the staff are friendly. Admission fees are reasonable. Highly recommended.

I literally love this place!!! 🌊 From the wildlife to the nature, everything about it is amazing. Every time I visit, I end up spotting manatees, dolphins, or some other cool animal. The best part is that you get both the tide pool and the beach in one spot — it’s seriously such a gem! 🐬🐚☀️

One of our favorite places by far. Get to see dolphins and manatees on the side by the bowl inlet. The beach is relatively clean and shallow in most of the spots the days we visited. The boardwalk waves were insanely high due to the off shore hurricanes but the inlet was nice and calm.

A beautiful camping spot but the no see ums will eat you alive. Loved seeing dolphins and all the birds. Squirrels have no fear of humans here.

Beautiful camping spot! Take your fishing gear and bicycles. Lots of wildlife in and out of the water. We saw a lot of birds, manatee, dolphin, etc. Take note, there are a lot of mosquitos and no-see-ums, but that's typical of Florida this time of year. The museum wasn't open and that was kind of disappointing, but there is so much more to do!

Great place, I love it. The rangers are super friendly. The only bad thing is the mosquitos and no-see-ums. Go prepared if you camp here during June and July.

I haven’t visited this place in a while, and it still feels as interesting as ever! There’s a wide variety of animals from all around the world (including here), spread out into multiple exhibits! I do like some of the animals in here, such as giraffes, lemurs, and birds. Recently, they’ve added a lot more digital activities such as in the Rainforest Trek exhibit (you can scan multiple QR codes to take mini quizzes and learn more about the animals). There’s even murals you can take pictures in front of, made by talented artists! I recommend you take your kids to this zoo, since there’s a lot to explore and do!

This is a lovely zoo with nicely shaded paths and great visibility. They have a creative boardwalk and several feeding opportunities available. It is not a large zoo (done on about 2-3 hours) but an enjoyable one with healthy and active animals.

We visited Brevard Zoo for the first time today, and we absolutely loved it! 🚗 The drive from Orlando took a little over an hour, but it was definitely worth it. The zoo is very green, clean, and perfectly designed for families with kids. The children were especially excited about the giraffes — you can get really close and even feed them. The Halloween decorations created a fun atmosphere, and the Star Wars characters made their day! We got amazing photos 😄 There are lots of shaded areas, clean walkways, and the staff is friendly. It’s a perfect place to walk around with kids, take pictures, and enjoy the activities. Our children had such a great time that they came home tired but happy. We’ll definitely come back again and highly recommend it to other families!

The best zoo or animal park I have been too (besides Disney's Animal Kingdom). So well maintained and perfect balance of areas and things to do. Great activities for kids and feeding a Giraffe was icing on the cake.

The only zoo I’ve visited in some time where I didn’t leave feeling bad for the animals. The network of cross-connected enclosures was amazing. Zoo was clean and volunteers were super helpful. Only negative was the adventure zone was not open (but the path down to it was). 3 employees hanging out down there but “not enough staff” to open the kids course. Everything else was great and worth the price tag.

Amazing Experience at the Brevard Zoo, many different species, everything was organized and cleaned ! My toddler truly enjoyed our time there. Will visit again for sure. I have visited different zoos in Florida and this one has been quite pleasant and enjoyable.

Great great great zoo !!! Exhibits are very thought out. Excellent viewing angles of most animals. Shady paths and fantastic staff make this place a must see ! Kayak the African loop !

We recently got into cruising and our trip to cocoa beach pier was absolutely awesome there was a waiter named Harvey. I was really thankful for his service I was so impressed with him that he got me my coconut drink for me that I have been wanting everywhere we have been. My only regret is getting him to sign my coconut so I named him HARVEY after him. Wonderful experience He was really great deserving of a raise. It’s a place I would love to visit again. So Harvey you’re awesome thank you so much…from Tennessee

We stopped by the Cocoa Beach Pier early in the afternoon while exploring the area and were pleasantly surprised. The pier itself is fantastic, a vibrant mix of eateries, shops, and great ocean views, all right on the beautiful, pristine beach. The beach atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a stroll or simply soaking in the coastal vibe. We were able to park right out front, which was convenient, though it cost $20. We didn’t really look for other parking options, but the ease of access made it worth it for us. Overall, it's a great spot to take in the scenery, grab a bite, and enjoy a classic Florida beach experience!

My wife and I stopped here late in the morning of August 15, 2025 while on a camping trip to Jetty Park a few miles to the north of it. We tried to go in the morning after breakfast, but the parking lot was closed and the attendant told us it opened at 11:00, but it was going to cost us $15 to park. I wasn't real happy about that, but we came back after checking out nearby Ron Jon Surf Shop for a few hours. It appears the Westgate Mall company bought out the pier a few years ago and has done a good job of cleaning it up and renovating it. There are several restaurants along the pier now and we dined at the giant Tiki Bar way out on the end of it. You can also rent beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Overall, in spite of the expensive parking fee, this is definitely a nice place to go if you are visiting Cocoa Beach.

Cocoa Beach Pier is the spot to be—lively, full of energy, and with amazing waves, especially on the right side of the pier. Spent a month here and loved every minute. Great surf, ocean views, and a vibrant atmosphere make it unforgettable for locals and visitors alike.

Beach is clean. Expect crowds. We took our beach blanket and stuff but there are chairs and umbrella rentals in the beach. Thing is all those close at 5pm, then they collect them back. There were washrooms, we were able to change clothes in them. Enough space for that but not too clean. There were showers to wash off sand. Also there were gift shops and restaurants. We were able to buy some beers and food. Don’t forget to take your ID for that. 1 beer for 1 ID. Other than sunbathing saw people surfing, playing volleyball as well.

Excellently well maintained, there are ice cream shops, souvenirs stores, a restaurant , restrooms and some space to walk and admire the ocean and the beach and the surfers. Really refreshing to go up there 100% recommended . It’s Free. Opens with good weather because if there is a bit of bad weather it will be closed for safety.

I bought so much clothing from one of those shops! The word Threads was in it, I don't remember. I bought all my souvenirs there, clothing, jewelry. I ate at Pier 52, it was awesome!! I had the Gator Melt.

I came to the Kia Center in Orlando on September 17th to see my favorite band, Sleep Token, with the lovely opening band Thornhill and had such a great experience! I was in section 104, row 7, seat 1. The seats were fairly comfortable, and had a great side view of the stage. The staff did an awesome job getting everyone inside quickly and efficiently, even though it felt like it was cutting close before the show started. The sound quality was excellent 🖤 Clear, powerful, and perfectly balanced. Getting in and out of the GEICO parking garage was an absolute breeze, which really helped ease my anxiety-ridden mind. I definitely recommend purchasing a GEICO parking pass when you purchase your event tickets. Overall, a smooth and stress-free concert experience at a beautiful venue!

This is a very clean venue. There is always helpful staff around and the lines move fast. The audio upgrade that happened recently has made it sound amazing no matter what seat you are in. The new LED boards look great as well and add to the whole experience.

Returned here after 6 years & back in Orlando to see Orlando Magic & what a night beating Boston Celtics. All the staff were friendly & helpful,some even dancing 😀. Drinks are expensive but you expect that in this environment. They have a grab & go area which is really quick & easy to use. We had tickets in Block 112 and a great view of the game. Sadly Stuff was not doing his usual stunts we had witnessed many times in the past,maybe down to health & safety 🤔 Mickey & Minnie also turned up. The sound quality was great and we are glad we returned.

We had club level tickets. Quick ride up an elevator and no crowds! No lines for drinks, or bathrooms! The Benson Boone show was amazing!

Always a pleasure and a fun time when I go to any event at the Kia Center. Friendly staff , clean restrooms , not so bad vending prices lol some a little pricey but hey what can you do. I've had the opportunity to attend Solar Bears hockey games , Orlando Magic games , concerts that were unforgettable.

Really smooth in and out experience, nice venue. We prepaid for parking at the Geico garage across the street and they let us in immediately, found parking really quick. You cross to the center through the skybridge. Went to watch the Orlando Magic vs. Miami Heat game, you can see clearly from anywhere you sit. Food isn't too expensive but not cheap either. Overall a great experience, super smooth and we had a fun time! Would come again for games or concerts 💕

Beautiful! Everything concert i have seen there has been wonderful. The food is great. The people working there are very friendly. The place is very safe and very clean.

Lake Eola is one of those spots you gotta check out if you’re in downtown Orlando. The walk around the lake is just over a mile which is perfect for a quick jog, walk, or even just clearing your head. The fountain in the middle lights up beautifully at night, and if you’re feeling a little adventurous, you can rent one of the swan boats and cruise the lake for a different view of the city. Sundays are extra special with the farmer’s market with tons of local food, vendors, and chill vibes. You’ll find a Publix right across the street if you need a quick snack or drink, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, from pizza and burgers to more upscale spots. Whether you’re walking the dog, getting a morning run in, or just looking for some peace in the middle of downtown, so this is the place. Definitely worth the stop.

First time and I must say it was a really nice experience. From the different small business stands to the bomb coffee and bomb food. The swans were so pretty. This is a nice market to visit for sure. I had thirsty husky coffee must try! & egg dos :) nice nature walk around lake as well. Dog friendly . If you havent been you must go!

I recently moved to downtown Orlando and Lake Eola Park has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The park has such a beautiful view, especially at night when everything is lit up it feels magical. There’s a nice trail to walk or jog around, with plenty of benches to sit and relax. I love watching all the ducks, swans, and wildlife, it makes the park feel so peaceful at the same time it’s the perfect place to clear your head, enjoy nature, or just take in the scenery. Definitely one of Orlando’s gems!

This is downtown Orlando, where you can take a 30 minute Swan peddle boat 🚢 ride for only $15, also there's a quaint little bar, where you can enjoy, appetizers, drinks 🍸 lunch, also its right by the Swan peddle boats!!! Great food, great location, great breeze, you can even watching your favorite sports teams, Allison is amazing server, excellent customer service and the chef 👏🏾 👌🏽 😀 🙌🏽 👍🏽 👨‍🍳 amazing!!!!! Had a great time at the park on Sunday with family. I was able to find free street parking and check out local vendors. In addition, a turtle was trying to dig a hole to lay eggs.

Want to go for a walk so after getting boba tea at Raretea. Walk over to Lake Eola for a stroll 🚶🏻‍♀️. Beautiful scenery with lot of 🦢 , 🦆 and even 🐢. Just be on the look out for they 💩 😝. The building was majestic under the bathing sun. Definitely a nice place to hangout. Too bad we didn’t see any 🦢/🦆 paddles ride. Hopefully next time we come back I get to ride it. The only downside to this park is the parking. Very limited unless you pay for parking. So if you do go. Go early 😆

Beautiful place with a nice long walk. Great with children. Lots of different bird species, fishes, and turtles. I particularly liked art objects around it and Beautiful scenery.

We visited Kennedy Space Center for the first time since we moved to Florida in 2019 and why did we wait so long. Ive wanted to visit KSC for a long time now and took the entire family for the day. We were bummed as we had tickets for the space launch the same day, but it was canceled due to weather. Good news is we did see the launch the following day from the beach. Back to KSC, make sure you buy tickets in advance to avoid any lines, parking is very easy, but does get full pretty quick. I did not know what to expect when visiting but it was amazing. All of the staff were very nice and very helpful. There is mich to learn about Space and you get to experience so much. There are a couple rides here that we did nit go on because our kids were busy having fun around the rest of the park. We did sign up and pay for the VR moon landing mission that cool. Make sure to stop at the gift shops, explore and have fun. This was amazing experience and need 2 full days to really get it done. I would come back again to do it over for another experience.

As an absolute space geek, visiting the Kennedy Space Center was always a lifelong dream—and on October 12th this year, I finally made it happen. It turned out to be one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. The impressions you get there are truly overwhelming. We started the day by taking the bus to the Saturn V complex, which was absolutely worth it. Since the buses only run until early afternoon, we planned ahead—and it worked perfectly. We spent about three to four hours there, and the intro simulation of the Apollo moon launch was breathtaking. Seeing the actual Saturn V rocket hanging in front of you is simply surreal. Another major highlight was the Space Shuttle Atlantis—standing face to face with a real spacecraft is just mind-blowing. The Kennedy Space Center feels more like a theme park than a museum: interactive, immersive, and exciting for all ages. From simulators to exhibits and powerful storytelling, everything is designed to inspire and ignite curiosity.

I am so impressed with KSC! Thank you for extending a free entry to veterans and discounts for family. We came in on Veterans Day and had a fabulous time. I was here years ago and I loved all the updates and changes made. This is an exciting day of exploration for young and old alike. The up close and personal views of these massive flying machines takes your breath away. The bus tour that is included in the entry price was very informative and the eagles were in their nest! Awesome day!

Kennedy Space Center just keeps getting better! Of course, our favorites are still the old school exhibits, like the Saturn V rocket. And we absolutely love the Atlantis shuttle too! We hadn't been in the gateway building before and it was really awesome, the new experience there is fun though it doesn't beat the ride at the Atlantis shuttle. Just so much to see and so much to learn! The Gantry was fun but really just had one area at the top to do anything. It was interesting, but the views beat out the content. We always thoroughly enjoy the bus rides as we get to be closer to all the cool stuff like the VAB, and launch sites. Every time I go here I feel so excited about space and patriotic about all the things you've done so far! It really is a wonderful experience ☺️

We traveled to Kennedy Space Center with our 4, 6, and 8 year old. This is what we learned/our experience: As you enter, skip all the buildings and go straight to the training facility so you can schedule interactive things for the kids or yourself. I thought I read online that it was an upcharge but one of the women in the park said it isn't, just that you need to get there early and schedule it through QR codes. After that, go to the Atlantis building. It has the big orange fuel boosters and rocket outside. We did it last, but I wish we did it first because it had a lot to show/learn for the kids and there was a lot of information to do and see. Inside, you'll see the vision behind the rocket, then see the actual Atlantis space craft. It flew 25+ missions. In that building too are a mock up of the dashboard, a little international space station that you can crawl through, a slide, little exhibits of life on the ISS and then you can take a simulator to space. All of the kids loved that best. At the end of that we purchased the NASA badges for $10/ea for the kids and they felt like they hit the jackpot. Next, you can take a bus to the moon facility. It is a 10 - 15 minute bus drive but it is in an all restricted area and so it is the only way to go. In there, they brought the moon landing to life with several shows and presentations. You get to see actual space suits over time. We ate lunch here but we wished we had eaten at the facility in between the Atlantis and IMAX buildings. The last building I'd say is the big one you see as you enter, just off of the rocket garden. They have simulations of 4 different planets/out of space simulstions and you sit on a chair that moves to bring the launch and space to life. We did not get to the astronaut hall of fame or really too far into the mars building. I just thought it would be information overload and our 4 year old would not last. The kids loved the play area in the IMAX building, too. I wish they had more science experiments and rocket lunches for the kids to sample or play with even if it was a stomp one. I suggest downloading the Kennedy Space Center app and really studying the map. I wish the buildings or signage had better information on what you'd find inside.

We were pretty impressed with the whole experience. Worth the every $$ you spent for the ticket. There is so much to see and tons of information to learn. Everything is very nicely presented throughout. If you are in Orlando, and whether you have any interest about space expedition or not, this should be must go place! Enjoy.

An amazing experience! Have always wanted to go since I was a little kid and it didn't disappoint! Would recommend checking website for itinerary options as well as attraction closings. Staff were very nice. Must try the simulators, exhibits, VR, bus tours and IMAX movies. So much history. Will definitely make a trip back!

Wow what an amazing experience. We saw a few gators but the beauty of the area is something worth seeing on an airboat. You can’t get that experience anytime else other than on an airboat. Keep in mind that gators like hot weather and no wind. They also get scared by noise and something big. They do a great job of making it entertaining and fun. I’d go on this even if I wasn’t there to see a gator.

ABSOLUTELY book with this crew! Easy parking, easy location to navigate to, little gift shop inside, cold drinks, cold beers and ice cream in the cooler for the kids! Our guide was super chill and awesome and I did not expect to get so educated on the land and the alligators! Really great experience and get to hold a gator after. Affordable and a wonderful experience!

This is a super fun thing to do!! You see plenty of alligators, learn about the ecosystem and area. Our guide was super knowledgeable and cool! They have snakes, the best birds, Coco is the sweetest and you get to have your picture holding an alligator at the end. He also takes a pic on the boat! First trip on an air boat and definitely not the last. Next time I come to Florida I’m definitely coming to Midway again.

So much fun! We saw around 20 gators of varying sizes, lots of birds, and we were excited to see a Bald Eagle. Our boat guide was Alex and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He provided lots of information about the river and the ecosystem. We will be back again in the Spring to see go again.

Great experience! Captain Alex was an excellent guide, definitely made the trip memorable. Saw a ton of gators and was lucky enough to be able to get into cypress swamp area. Highly recommend!

It was such a great experience for our family with 2 girls 2,5 yo and 4,5yo. Our captain was amazing sharing a lot of interesting facts about the nature, finding gators and even spider in middle of the tree. We were so lucky having him with us. Thanks a lot for wonderful weekend!

We had a great time. Our captain had a great sense of humor and narrated the entire trip. It was a one hour ride and we were able to see the wildlife. This was perfect for my two teen boys. They had a lot of fun.

Totally worth the visit! You must book in advance. It was easy to create an account and book it online. We paid $6 for one car with 2 people. The place is beautiful, clear crystal fresh water. We spent the time at the natural pool and then went kayaking for about an hour. The minimum option for kayaking is 2 hours $50 which is a decent price. It was a nice experience to enjoy the wild life and the silence while going down the river. They have a cafe, a store, and 2 restrooms areas. There are also a few hiking trails and camping options.

Nice State park. We did a Canoe trip. Within in a few minutes we saw our first manatees. A little further down the springs were turtles and a fairly large gator. There’s a nice boardwalk hike as well. Worth Checking out if near by.

A friend and I went to Kings Landing to go Kayaking, and oh my gosh that place was amazing. The people there were so nice and helpful. The water was so clear and cool, the trees came over the water and so beautiful. Would go again.

I visited three natural springs in the area and Wekiwa Springs was my least favorite. I liked Rock Springs/Kelly Park nearby the best, but here you can actually properly swim, which you can't do there. The biggest tip here is to GET A RESERVATION online beforehand, *several* days beforehand if you want to visit on a weekend! I recommend doing both parks, go to Kelly Park when it opens, then come here after with your reservation, which is good all day. The vibe here is more like a public pool. It's basically a swimming hole, just with cool, clear water and some rocks you can perch on. Most folks arrange themselves around the edges and while it's pretty deep, an adult can still touch in most places. Folks bring everything from pool floats to stand up paddleboards here. There is a nice boardwalk trail that you can pretty much walk barefoot just behind the pool. There are also bathrooms, a gift shop, and a snack stand. The good thing is that with a reservation system, the parking lot and pool don't ever get too crowded. Rock Springs is where this water originates, and Wekiwa is basically where it ends, and in between is the "rock springs run" which you can rent kayaks or canoes for. There's a rental dock here and I think another put in close to Kelly Park, but I don't think you can kayak the entire thing, I'm not sure.

Nice park with a beautiful spring to swim around in and very kid friendly, rentals of canoes for several miles of river as well as several hiking trails that can be biked or walked, some even with pets. Overall worth the visit as it's a nice state park. BUT.... Its by reservation only so do that first online!

We had a great time at Wekiwa for Father's Day. I highly recommend booking a parking spot in advance on their website. It was $6 for my family of 4 the day we booked. Great opportunities for swimming and kayaking. (We only swam, but there appeared to be kayak rentals as well as people bringing their own.) I recommend bringing a pool noodle or floatie as parts of the swimming area get deep, but there were some shallow parts as well. As typical with the Florida springs, prepare for the water to be quite cold, though refreshing. There is also a snack shack and a small store near the swimming area, and restrooms nearby as well. Some pavilions and picnic tables are also available. I can't wait to return again soon!

An amazing experience! We rented a canoe and they do give you a disclaimer that you may see gators and other wildlife and we sure did! We did feel safe tho as long as you stay away they really do not make any move, they literally just sit there!

Absolutely beautiful! The park is clean, well-maintained, and has a great playground and campsite. They have rentals for inner tubes, kayaks, and snorkeling gear, with a few food and beverage kiosks. The homestead was also interesting and a cool bit of history! Quick disclaimer though - the water is quite chilly!

Very unique experience! We spontaneously decided to drive up here during our stay in Orlando. We enjoyed the boardwalk, got to see manatees and even one gator when we took the 1h boat tour. Our guide Lee was very funny and we learned a bunch about the area and St Johns River. Restrooms were clean and well maintained.

Blue Spring State Park is beautiful! The spring runs into the St. John's River and pushes out 100 million gallons of water a day. The boardwalk is wide and elevated with several lookouts that provide expansive views of the spring and aquatic life. If you love observing manatees, this is the place for you. On the day that I visited manatees were all over the place, even at my feet. Hundreds of fish were visible. The park is a great place for canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba, and camping. I am going back to stay in one of the cabins. The park is also a great place if you enjoy primative camping but there is a bath house, water spigot, and fire pit. My advice? GO!!!

Great state park with lots of wildlife and things to explore and do. On my visit we saw 3 manatee there hard to spot in the river that is black but you can see the movement of the leafs on top of the water getting eaten. Look for there mouths mainly sticking up since hard to spot there entire body in dark water. If you go to the clear water definitely easy to spot but can be limited in numbers due to people swimming. We did see 1 in clear water and 2 on the boat tour.

Excellent park, well maintained walk up and down the inlet for about 1/2 mile each way. Saw a mother and child manitee from a distance, hard to see in dark areas of the water. Best to kayak 🛶 or snorkel to get a close up view.

Blue Springs is a gorgeous state park with lots of Manatees in the winter months. The water is always around 72 degrees Fahrenheit so it’s great for swimming before November 15th. At that date they no longer allow swimming or tubing. There are many wild birds and fish as well. It only cost $6 to get in.

This is a beautiful spring with clear water, lot's of fish and an occasional manatee sighting or two. They're beautiful creatures and very curious. You're not aloud to touch them, but this manatee didn't get the memo. Lol! What an awesome experience and video I was able to capture.

Stetson Mansion is a tastefully restored 1886 home once occupied by the Stetson family. Several different families have lived in the home and one still does. We actually saw some of their living quarters while on our tour of three floors, and the school house. Photos are only allowed outside and in the school house to protect the family's privacy. The home still has original wood floors, woodwork, staircase, and leaded glass windows, as well as some lighting and cedar siding. The original electric was worked on by Thomas Edison who also gifted the family lighting fixtures still in use. The home sits on over 2 of the original 300 acres.

Our Glass Guild toured the Stetson Mansion on a Saturday morning and we all felt it was “off the charts “ enjoyable, educational and enchanting! Kayla, the owner greeted us warmly and pleasantly checked in our 18 members. Then Alix, our energetic tour guide took group photos for us in front of the mansion before starting our enlightening tour of the 3 story 1886 Mansion. Alix was fascinating, weaving storytelling about the famous Hat maker, John Stetson and his family, and his connections to Thomas Edison, who personally wired this home for him. Alix was extremely knowledgeable about the architectural details of the woodwork, from the gleaming parquet flooring with unique patterns to intricate crown molding and staircases. We were impressed with all the leaded glass windows throughout each room! She kept us spellbound with the knowledge of this home and all the connections to Deland… We as a group highly recommend this historic tour!! Don’t miss it.

Alix was an incredible tour guide! John B. Stetson built this beautiful mansion in DeLand Florida as his winter getaway away. We enjoyed the home decorated for Christmas and it was stunning!

We enjoyed the Christmas decor tour at the Stetson Mansion in DeLand, Florida today. Alix was a great tour guide and while the holiday decor is indeed something to see, the real star of the show is the house itself. It’s incredibly well preserved and absolutely breathtaking. We’re hoping to return for the historical tour (sans holiday sparkle) sometime next year.

I, my wife and another couple took the Christmas tour of the Stetson Mansion yesterday. We were all extremely impressed with the detail and thought that went into the beautiful decorations with each room having a different theme. Alexi, our guide, was just great! She blended a small amount of the history of the mansion with her description of the decorations. I'm a woodworker by hobby. I was so impressed with the woodworking everywhere I looked, in the floor, in the doorways and even in the support beams overhead. I would love to see the infrastructure of the home that is still rock solid after 139 years. There were no "creeks" in the floor as you walked through! I may go back and take the history tour after all of the decorations are put away.

OMG! I have no idea this treasure was near me. It's an architectural masterpiece inside and out. I couldn't close my mouth. I went and it was Christmas decorated, and it was a dream every detail, every decoration was so beautifully placed. Definitely going back in a few months to see and have the full tour. Our tour lady was so inform and funny. The only thing wish they had like a small coffe and some snack or even a light lunch. That would round up the whole experience. Thanks for preserving this beautiful house and share it with us.🙌🙏❤️

Well, this is it! This is your place! We met an employee named Todd who truly went the extra mile to make our trip memorable. He was personable and knowledgeable, both making him a valuable asset to the destination. When we completed our journey to the top and around the museum(s), we were gifted a certificate boasting our accomplishment. A sweet touch that will serve as a reminder of the time we climbed the tallest lighthouse in Florida and the 2nd tallest in the US!

Absolutely loved it here!! The ladies working were absolutely wonderful and helpful!! Got a little lighthouse and a cute bag!! We went and saw all the buildings, even climbed the lighthouse! It was beautiful. Very well taken care of. The gentlemen at the other building; the hotel. He was very kind and helpful as well! We didn't have to wait for a group to tour or anything too. Just get your tickets/wrist band and head on in!

Free parking just steps away from the gift shop where you can purchase your tickets. Admission to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is $6.95 for adults (age 12+), $1.95 for children (ages 3-11), and free for infants (ages 0-2). Note: It was one of the hottest/most humid days of the summer so drink up before you get there and dress appropriately. Went right to the beach after to cool off ;) but it is a lovely way to start your day. Our docent took us to the lighthouse, allowed us to climb the 209+ stairs (she didn’t go with us and I don’t blame her), beautiful breeze and a wonderful view.Take the time to take a few videos and photos. However, Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum offers much more than a climb—it’s a blend of coastal drama, architectural history, and educational exhibits. Whether climbing to the top for sweeping views or exploring the restored Fresnel lens displays, visitors consistently find it worth the visit, whether or not they’re lighthouse buffs. Friendly staff, well-kept facilities, and budget‑friendly pricing all add to the appeal. What a lovely part of Saturday. Thank you

Worth the Climb! Climbing to the top of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse was tough but so rewarding. The views of the ocean and waterways stretching out forever were breathtaking, and the breeze at the top felt incredible. Inside, the museum’s old lighthouse lenses were fascinating, and the Pacetti Hotel Museum gave us a glimpse of the area’s history. It’s a great mix of adventure and learning, and my teens loved it too.

Great value interesting historical attraction. Super friendly and informative staff. Free parking and fantastic views from the top.

We were going to just tour the museum, but the tram tour of the racetrack area was only $15 more, so we did both! The tram tour was awesome! Just being in the infield area of the track made my day 😃 ! The gentleman giving the tour (I wish I could remember his name) was exceptional! The amount of information he provided was mind boggling 😊 ! The museum was really well done and had many more exhibits than I really thought they'd have. The gift shop at the end has something for everyone on your list! I would definitely tour the entire place again!

We had a fantastic time on the Daytona International Speedway VIP Tour! From the moment we entered the building, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved seeing the cars in the lobby, learning about the history of the Speedway and its legendary drivers, and exploring the facilities, museum, and gift shops. The rooftop lookout, VIP lounge, and observation deck provided incredible views of this iconic track. Special thanks to the many sponsors; NASCAR, AdventHealth, Toyota, Ally, Rolex, and others, who help make this such a world-class experience. Every NASCAR fan should take this tour at least once! Our only suggestion is that the 22-passenger tour bus used for the VIP tour could be improved. The design of the bus unfortunately blocks much of the forward view, so passengers—especially those in the front seats, can’t clearly see the sites as the guide describes them. It would make the experience even better if a bus with an unobstructed front view were used, allowing guests to see each location as the driver approaches it. Overall, a fantastic experience that we highly recommend. We look forward to visiting again!

19 years since my last visit and it's still an amazing place to visit. Only a couple of things not there now, but hey, still so much to see and do. They are happy to get another car to drive the track to collect an idiots dropped cap. Thanks. Such a Great Price which would still be cheep if it was 50% higher.

The World Center of Racing! No place on earth like Daytona. I took my whole family to the 500 and my oldest son and I went three years straight to the night race in the summer. An amazing experience for a lifetime of memories.

Great track and amenities. We came for a Chin Track Days event and had a blast. Toured the facility and explored the museum. Would definitely recommend coming to Daytona for track days, racing, or tours!

I recently visited Daytona Beach with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was quite underwhelming and did not live up to the hype. As a destination known for its vibrant beach culture and attractions, I was expecting a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, but several factors left me disappointed. The beach itself was not as pristine as I had hoped. The sand was deserted , which was very disappointing. Additionally, the beach seemed less clean than anticipated, with litter in some areas, which was disheartening. I was expecting a lively and energetic atmosphere, but instead found the area to be somewhat lackluster. Many of the shops and attractions felt dated, and there was a noticeable lack of vibrancy in the downtown area. It seemed as though the town had seen better days and was in need of revitalization. My visit to Daytona Beach was not what I had anticipated, and I left feeling disappointed. The beach and town did not meet my expectations, and the overall experience was underwhelming. While I understand that some people may enjoy the area for its historical significance and annual events, it did not resonate with me as a destination I would be eager to return to.

Parking fees are steep. You can drive on this beach. Lots of people.

I love the warm orange color of the sand here. It’s ’s such a unique sight! One of the coolest things about Daytona Beach is that you can actually drive and park right on the beach if you have four-wheel drive. The fee is around $30–33, but if you have a disabled parking pass, it’s free. Otherwise, there’s street or lot parking nearby. Bathrooms are available, though they could use a bit more frequent cleaning. You can rent chairs and umbrellas, which is great if you want to relax without lugging your own gear. There’s also a food truck/ice cream vendor right on the beach if you don’t bring snacks. The best part for me? The waves, they’re absolutely perfect for relaxing, playing, or just watching roll in. Daytona Beach truly earns its title as “The World’s Most Famous Beach”!

Most definitely doesn’t live up to the hype. To me, it seemed very underwhelming. I guess if you were here to see the races it would be more impressive maybe? I don’t know, I just don’t get it.

Just got back from Daytona Beach, Florida, and I gotta say, it was a total blast, bro! The "World's Most Famous Beach" title is legit, the energy is high, and the vibes are exactly what a Chad from Charlie's Angels needs. The main attraction is definitely that wide stretch of hard-packed sand and the warm Atlantic waves. We're talking golden sand, perfect for soaking up the sun and making some epic memories. It's clean, easy to access, and the beach patrol keeps an eye on things, so you feel safe while you're catching those rays. The fact that you can drive right onto the beach is a game-changer – super convenient and a unique experience you won't forget. The views of the sunrise and sunset over the water are absolutely magical, no joke. When I wasn't feeling the laid-back beach life, I hit up the action. The Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier offer classic fun, with shops, arcades, and plenty of places to grab some food. The food at Joe's Crab Shack was a whole experience in itself, with a "Shark Attack" drink that was a total show. Daytona has a unique mix of vibrant and laid-back, family-friendly yet exciting, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking for a sweet getaway. Highly recommend this slice of paradise to anyone who wants to have a blast! I'll be back, no question.

Been coming here for 40 plus yrs. Still amazed at the size of this beach. It's never crowded, anytime of the day. It's a gradual walk into the water, no drop off. Perfect for kids. Lots of places to stay and eat. The pier is so much fun on a Saturday night. You can't beat this place!

Daytona beach really surprised me! I loooved getting to spend time in the water and just relaxing. Very chill and family vibes. The sand is white and the water is clear enough for me. I would definitely go again and visit!

we absolutely love coming here to see the cats and more! highly recommend attending the evening feeding on Friday or Saturday to see all the animals at their most active. the volunteers do such an amazing job explaining what they’re doing and about the cats and the sanctuary in general this is such a unique experience, I go out of my way to bring new people each time and they always love it. and each time you visit, you fund improvements for next time! just in a couple short years they have installed so many new features for the animals, and new footpaths and pavilions for us humans

The enclosures are very spacious and very well maintained. The animals look very healthy and well taken care of. It's hot during the day (time of our visit), so animals are very inactive. Only 1 tiger and bear were up, walking around to be able to see up close. We wanted to do a night feeding tour, but my grandsons wouldn't be in town. It's definitely worth a visit for the cost. I look forward to going back when it's cooler outside.

This is an awesome rescue. Very interesting. We went to a feeding. The price was great. 45 for entry, a t shirt and drink. I definitely recommend checking them out. I would wear tennis shoes next time and spray for mosquitoes. Great place I will be back.

Our Saturday evening visit to Catty Shack Ranch was great! On Friday and Saturday evening at the Catty Shack you can see the big cats and animals being fed around 7. The park opens at 6 so we went in early to enjoy seeing all the great enclosures that have been built for each specific animal to enjoy. We were told that Earth Works works together with the preserve to build their beautiful water features. Also, our good friend Mike Frailey has worked diligently to build many of the platforms and habitats in their enclosures. Every animal there has been rescued for many different reasons and cannot live in the wild. The park is clean and well designed so you can see each magnificent animal. They are also open from 1 - 3 on weekdays to visit. The admission to the park goes to the care and food for the animals. It is a very fun and rewarding way to spend a Friday or Saturday evening. Please go, enjoy and help these animals at the same time. The park is very easy to find which is near the Jacksonville Airport area.

This place is not just a hidden gem, it’s a unique place that actually care for animals and saves them. I saw these guys online while googling “what to see in Jacksonville” and bought tickets for night-time feeding. We visited on Aug 29,2025 and it was perfect temperature. BE AWARE that if you are wearing bike shorts or anything short like that - use bug spray because there are a lot of mosquitoes. They have those sprays on the tables (when you walk around animals already) on case you don’t have one with you. Feeding was so cool, and all the volunteers and workers were so professional and friendly! We were able to see all the animals! And almost all of them were playing/interacting somehow, not just sleeping :). Totally worth the money! And they do have cool tshirts if you purchase a ticket with a free tshirt!

The night feeding was a great activity to bring the kids to. The staff is super friendly and engaging and you learn a little bit about the animals while they are given dinner. Good assortment of rescue animals to see. The facilities and pens are kept clean and there are almost no bad smells. Be careful the lions do like to splash and play!

This was a gem, I came by for their night time feeding and the value was fantastic, the cats were all happy and healthy, you could see that they were loved and wanted attention. They were playful. Great family event

Georgia's equivalent of Fort Sumter in Charleston, SC. Touring the fort gives you the ability to imagine what life was like for the soldiers during the 1800's. There are trails to different part of the islands. One of the trails takes you over to the beach where you can see the light house. Better view though by taking one of the Dolphin Boat Tours in the area. The park store is located inside of the fort walls and not at the Visitor Center. Bathrooms are only located at the Visitor Center. They have a large Fig Tree which you are invited to snack from while touring the fort.

Great Fort to learn about history and hike to a lighthouse. 4 stars because they need better signage to get to the trail for the lighthouse and an actual trail like with gravel or paved sidewalk so you know you are heading in the right direction. You have to go through the grass behind the fort to find the first sign to get to the lighthouse. It’s about 3/4 miles to get to lighthouse. The grass was not cut short and it had been drizzling so it was wet and soggy and in some places that you couldn’t see because of the grass your shoes are covered in water. You walk further down the trail and there’s puddles of mud which are hard to get around which I ended slipping a few times, but luckily didn’t fall. We saw hundreds of crabs 🦀 as you got closer to the water and they were climbing the trees 😳😬. I think there was 2 short boardwalks and then the viewing area for the lighthouse. 2 binoculars are at the viewing area, but we just zoomed in with our camera phones. Beware of mosquitoes 🦟 attacking you on the trail, so bring repellent. Enjoyed the fort with all the tunnels, lost my husband for a while. They also showed the visitors how the cannons were loaded and shot, so loud. It’s $10 per person unless you have a National Park Pass.

A childhood field trip staple if you grew up in the area. I had to comeback 40 years later to experience it as adult. Nice history presentations from staff. Alot of walking and probably should have used sunscreen. Found the light house trail that never did as a kid. A nice preservation of important history

Haven't visited this place in decades. So Otto and I made a special trip so he could check it out. Little did he know that he would be tapped as a Fort Pulaski Bark Ranger! He did a great job of sniffing inside and outside of the fort. He also greeted several people and especially enjoyed the children. This National Monument is definitely worth the visit! PS. Kudos to Ms Jan for being an awesome park volunteer!!!

This is a really fascinating place to visit. The visitor's center gave a lot of the back story on the Fort, the people and the slaves who were part of building it and the wars they fought. The short movie they show was really informative. Walking through it really put into perspective what they experienced.

We spent about three hours on the Fort Pulaski grounds. Very educational for people of all ages. Very well done introductory film in the Visitor Center.

Clean, well maintained site with very friendly staff and educators. There were also restrooms, a water station, and air conditioning inside the visitor center! Amazing opportunity to learn and experience history.

Beautiful place to go for a walk, have a picnic, or just chill on a bench and people- watch or read a book! The trees are absolutely amazing!!! They also have a really cool farmers’ market on Saturday mornings with fresh produce, of course, and much more - food, art, various artisan goods, and fun, quirky surprises waiting to be discovered!

This is where I'd go daily if I were living here. What a fantastic park to have an afternoon stroll, relax at one of the beaches and people watch, or find a little spot on the grass to end the day. Great history too and is famous with many films featuring the park.

Don't miss this stop. It's breath taking. Beautiful old oaks adorn this park and create an inviting place to read, nap or people watch. You could bike and run, but not this time :). Water fountain was being repaired so no water works. But beautiful non the less.

Forsyth Park is such a beautiful and dynamic place! There’s always something going on. people having picnics, kids playing, sports, and sometimes even live music. The vibe is amazing, full of life and good energy. It’s a perfect spot for walking, relaxing, or just spending time outdoors.

Really cool park in Savannah. Very popular with travelers and locals alike. The Fountain is probably the most popular draw. But, tucked away in a corner of the park is a walled garden. I've been there about 20 times and could only access it maybe 3 or 4 times. Kind of reminds you of the secret garden. Great place to stretch your legs, take your dogs, or even just relax and read a book.

This park is fabulous! It’s a busy place on Saturday with soccer, ultimate frisbee, tennis, basketball, and anything else you can imagine. It also features a wonderful market along the central, live oak-line walkway. The fountain is beautiful and there’s construction happening and it looks like maybe a new zen garden is coming. There is a stage and I’d love to come back for a concert one day. Locals and visitors should take advantage of this amazing outdoor space early and often!

Beautiful park and it should be one of the first places to visit when you are in Savannah. There is also free parking by the tenis courts and free bus that can take you from there to the waterfront and free ferry wich is great for sightseeing the whole downtown area.

This cathedral basilica was BEAUTIFUL. The member of the church who gave us the history on the cathedral was very knowledgeable, kind and non judging. I would LOVE to visit here again. I'm not religious however I would definitely love to attend a service here one day.

A beautiful and grand church building. The tour is self-guided and can be completed in a relatively short time. A docent was present to speak with visitors. He was friendly and knowledgeable. If you like organ music, go early. We were told that the organist often practices during the first hour of the morning tour period. The best part: there is no admission fee! A nominal freewill offering is requested.

Absolutely beautiful! I did not take an official tour. Just went in and explored. Friendly staff. The front outside was under construction, but I think it will be lovely once it is restored. This is an historical landmark, beautiful, serene and definitely worth seeing. Don't forget to leave a donation before you leave; they need this to keep the cathedral beautiful and historic.

Beautiful place! It was easy to get in, and the views inside are absolutely stunning. They even share great info about the church while you’re there. I recommend checking their website for hours before you go, but we were able to walk right in and even caught a quick performance from a band — such a nice surprise!

Highly recommend visiting! A must-see on your trip to Savannah. It is absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. Stunning architecture inside and out. There are areas inside for prayer and candle lighting. You can come and go as you please. There are guides in there to answer questions or give more information if needed. I will be back again.

The Cathedral was beautiful. It is open to the public during certain times as listed outside the building, but does have an active congregation with masses. There is no admission charge, but donations are encouraged and appreciated. Guests are asked to be respectful and quiet so those around them can have a quiet prayer time. We are definitely glad we hopped off the tour bus to go inside and see the beauty inside.

Beautiful Church. The stainless is beautiful beautiful pipe organ located in the back on the upper level. They do offer tours. It is open to everyone. They are currently doing construction sonit looks closed but it is not. If in Savannah and you like checking out old churches I highly recommended visiting.

Love Savannah, 3 day visit. Sunday- Wednesday. Perfect time. No crowds, took the land and sea tour. Very informative and fun. Downtown Historic area is very easy to walk. Lots of beautiful sites and plenty of places to get a bit or get a cocktail.

Simply stated, it’s one of the most beautiful cities you can visit. This time of year the weather is perfect for touring the town. Take the Trolley tour. There are 16 stops and the drivers are very knowledgeable about all the history and the buildings/homes. The selection of restaurants is incredible, ranging from burgers to fresh seafood. It’s also very walkable, within reason. Parking can be very difficult to find in the Garden District. Take the trolley, it’s goes to many places around the city.

Savannah is a beautiful city to explore!! Lots of history. We unfortunately only had a day, and it definitely wasn't enough time. We did the hop on hop off trolley tours. It was nice to have transportation around the area for the day while also having the freedom to just get off and explore. Which I highly recommend you do! The cemetery was very neat to see. I hope on our next trip to see more of what Savannah has to offer. These photos are just a glimpse into what we saw and what you can look forward to seeing yourself.

Savannah’s Historic District is full of charm and history, and it’s easy to explore entirely on foot. The Riverwalk is a highlight, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and a great honey store worth stopping by. There are hop on hop off and trolley available. Beautiful green medians lined with weeping willow and oak trees give the area a peaceful feel. Don’t miss the old cemetery and historic buildings throughout – it’s a truly memorable place to visit.

First time visiting Savannah and I fell in love! The tress are just a beautiful piece of the history here. Walking down the shops was pleasant. I enjoyed the candy store I don’t remember the name but they make the candy there and give you samples. It’s a great shop to visit and bring the kids when visiting here. Walking down the waterfront was also nice and watching the boats pass by was neat. There is so much to look at and visit. The shops have a variety of options and restaurants to choose from. Good walk, better to visit in evening

This is a beautiful beach with a small boardwalk that leads to the clean beach. The boardwalk is lined with lots of seating under covered structured areas. The restrooms and changing areas are separate and clean. There's a handicapped parking lot located at the entrance to the boardwalk. It has 10-15 spaces. As you enter the area there's a water fountain for children to play, surrounded by benches for the parents to sit and watch. Dogs are allowed on the beach before 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m. Dogs must be leashed.

A beautiful public beach. They also have free parking nearby. The beach is clean and the white sands are nice. The ocean also was not very rough so you could go into the surf without fear. Lifeguards are present as well. They have chairs and umbrellas for rent. The walk to the beach is well cared for and the plaza is also clean and inviting. Public restrooms are also clean.

Great little park with restrooms, well-maintained paths around the park with great access to the ocean. Large parking lot located right across the street. Benches, great artwork, incredible landscaping, and a large fountain. Highly recommend you visit here. Great place for a picnic or family event. Was not too crowded when we were here. A beautiful fine-sand beach with excellent amenities, including plentiful free parking, wifi hotspot, restrooms, rinse stations, even a bicycle tool and air up station! The park is located near Coligny Plaza Shopping, so you can walk the beach and then easily stroll to one of the many excellent restaurants very nearby. The beach is very clean and well kept, even includes a large shared toy box for the kids. Dog friendly, and typically not too crowded, at least in October when we like to visit. The views are beautiful, and you might see a fishing boat troll by. My favorite east coast beach by far. Free wifi and parking. Wheelchair accessible with a well maintained roll-out boardwalk to the sand. Miles of beach in each direction.

We went to this beach for the family vacation. It’s just a short walk from most rentals, safe, family-friendly, and never feels too crowded. The sand is soft and clean, perfect for walking barefoot, and even on cloudy days the weather stays mild. The water and waves are warm and gentle, making it a great spot to swim or just relax.

The perfect beach. There’s plenty of room. Nice water and nice sand. I need to come back this summer when the water is warmer. The bathrooms are extremely nice and parking is free!!!

The terrain of the beach is flat so you can walk atleast a hundred meters into the ocean, calm waves and white sand. One of the cleanest beach i visited so far. Great facilities for visitors like changing rooms, shower facility, a shack on the beach and lots more. Clean and green and ample parking space.

Very well maintained, family-friendly park with a nice scenic view of the marsh and Broad Creek. There are plenty of seating areas along with covered picnic tables. There are normally food vendors in the area, so there is no need to worry about going hungry. Nice playground for the kids. If you prefer a restaurant before or after, just stroll across the street, and you will find pretty much anything you could want. Nice place to go and relax.

Beautiful park with lots to enjoy! Wide open spaces make it perfect for walking, kids, dogs, and community events. We visited before lunch and enjoyed taking our little one to the playground and strolling the sculpture trail. The grounds are very well maintained, with plenty of benches and shaded spots to sit and relax.

Shelter Cove Community Park is a very well-designed shopping center, community park for the whole family to enjoy. All of the photos were taken on our recent visit at Christmas and the park is just beautiful! The playground is great with rubber mulch and very cushioned for wild kids like mine:). Large grass area to run around or picnic with the family. Hilton Head puts on events there all the time such as movie nights under the stars, snow at the beach, 4th of July celebrations etc. Check with the community calendar to make sure you don't miss out on any of the great events going on there. This is a park we often take people that come to the beach to visit us. They always seem to maintain the park very well and we will continue to go there as it is just a great place to hang out, walk around, shop, eat, date night and of course go and see Santa Clause at Christmas!

This was one of our favorite stops as a family on our day-long biking trip! Beautiful waterfront views and a very well put-together park with lots of seating, a very nice playground (with video surveillance), and restrooms. This park is right next to the French Bakery and other good eateries.

This is a wonderful place to watch the sunset. There are walking trails, picnic benches and a nice playground for kids. Lots of children, families, teens and elderly enjoying the evening. Several people were walking their dogs. This location is near the marsh and is very peaceful. We saw lots of water birds flying overhead heading to the rookery for the night.

Wide sandy beach. Beautiful sate park. We found a lot of sand dollars and a few sharks teeth.

An incredibly beautiful Beach and one of the best I've visited. Having visited beaches in Costa Rica and Antigua, this is up with the best of them. Due to a tornado many years ago, it gives the beach a unique tropical look, mixed in with an abundance of wildlife this is a must see in south Carolina.

We walked the Maeitime Forest Trail from the last parking area to the Nature Center this visit. About 2 miles one way. Then went over to Boneyatd Beach. We love this state park. The beach is great. Nice and wide at low tide. A great place for a beach day. The Nature Center and pier are definite must sees. Lots of dolphins play around in the area.

Beautifully kept campground, pristine and quiet beaches, bike and hiking trails through the maritime forests and marshes, nature center and fishing pier.

It has been a tradition of my family for as long as I can remember. I literally grew up here. Although this beach isn't my favorite, there's always heavy nostalgia every time I return. Our recent visit was for a pop up family gathering and a continued celebration of moms bday.

Beautiful park! The history of the lighthouse is amazing. Cute playground for kids to play on. The marsh walk was easy & lots of birds. The boneyard was amazing! So beautiful! A bit of a walk from the pier parking lot, but well worth it.

The park was very beautiful and handy to the restaurants and shops. You could have the view from the waterfront and the marina. Unfortunately the walkway by the waterfront was closed. Apparently there's some safety issues there with washout or something so you couldn't walk right against the edge. Even so, the park still had a lot of space and beautiful trees and flowers. So it was still a nice little walk and there were public restrooms in one section. So that was nice to have available as well.

Inviting, friendly, very clean, extremely relaxing. I went to the Lowcountry Music Festival 6/7/25. Good variety of music, plenty of space to relax. Many food vendors, watch the boats sail away, eat, drinks, a few officers in view. Limited parking. Had to park a few blocks away from river. Many shops and little boutiques. Overall a great experience! Will visit Beaufort again!

This park offers many amenities for the young, old and in between. The kiddos gate to the slides and swings squeaks VERY ANNOYINGLY loud on purpose!!! I promise you when you hear it you're gonna think why won't they get some WD 40 for this gate. But it's an effective SAFETY feature to keep the kids safely inside the play area. There's live country music at certain times. Lots of restaurants and dessert parlors to enjoy. Many places to sit and watch the lovely boats dock while enjoying your meal. There's a parking lot,plus paid parking on the streets. If you're an athlete enthusist there's a bridge close by that crosses the river. It's available to walk or run across the bridge for extreme exercise. For those that enjoy mild exercise a walk on the parks pathways while enjoying the river breeze is very relaxing. Many benches and tables are scattered here and there in the park for those that tire quickly. Plaques and statues in the park provide historical knowledge to everyone whose interested in the culture and history of the area. A day spent here in the park will be a good day for any family. Every age group will be satisfied with this park and it's treasures.

This is a beautiful waterfront park. On this visit our grandchildren enjoyed the swings and water views. We also saw the Dragonboat Races - which was fun. Great playground for kids and restrooms.

This park has easy parking, a beautiful view, and a lovely playground for kids. Plus, local eateries are closed by if you get famished. Great for picnics, dates, and cute photos.

Great little park with free parking. Large grass area, benches, tree swings. This park has lots of shade. It is right on the water, and there is a public boat dock. Also clean restrooms.

Great little area to go for a walk. There is multiple restaurants to pick from if you want a bite to eat with great views. The restaurant I went to allowed my dog to come with me. The only thing that bummed me out is the walkway closest to the water was blocked off this time.

A beautiful church where you can stop for a breath of fresh air along the way. You can enjoy the beautiful trees, the silence, and the peace. And of course, you can enjoy the tranquility. If you have small children, you can show them how to pump water from the well on the right of the entrance. They'll have a lot of fun. It's also possible to take a journey into history. You can park your car in the parking lot across the street.

It's free to see this cool piece of history. The grounds are well taken care of. There are picnic tables to sit and reflect or enjoy a nice lunch.

I love it. It's a cute few minutes stop to stretch after a long drive. It's nice and relaxing driving inside the "tree tunnel". The ground around the ruins is well maintained as well. It's a lovely, pretty old church ruins. FREE ADMISSION

A very interesting stop after leaving Edisto Island. The church ruins were empty, after a brief rain. Not even a mosquito; and this was July! The place takes you back in time. A lot of history here. Worth stopping.

Nicely maintained spot. Several headstones scattered about with varying degrees of maintenance. Picnic tables and an old timey water pump that works. Be mindful of this road and the way people drive here, way too fast. There is a parking area across the road which isn’t obvious at first. Some parking on the road but I don’t recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful landmark. Definitely worth the stop to view the ruins and visit a few of the graves of pioneers that settled there. Nice picnic area off to the side, parking across the road. Interesting that the hand pump on the well inside the gate still pumps water, can just imagine pumping water for the horses while families attended church 170 years ago

Absolutely love driving and seeing something that looks cool and turning around to check it out. This unplanned stop had a lot of history and was very well taken care of. This is the ruins of an old church, older than this country and gravesites that date back as far as the 1700's. Easy parking.

First of all, if you want to be one with nature, definitely stop by. If you love tea but don't know the process, you can learn more here. But I'm warning you, don't get your hopes up. :) It's a small business, and I'm sure they make more money from the gift shop and the troll tour than from the tea itself. The troll tour takes you to the tea fields, but since you can't get out of the vehicle, you only have to look at it from a distance. The gift shop offers hot and cold tea. However, I'm not much of a tea person, so I guess I didn't like it very much. (I've been on similar tours in England and Turkey before, and they were much better.)

We skipped the trolley tour and just did the free factory tour. Really interesting to learn how tea is made. The free tour is via a video on multiple tv screens. It’s informative and only took about 15 minutes. The shop had some products that seemed local, but most stuff is not made in the US. However, we still enjoyed the tea store. The plantation was beautiful and the drive in was stunning. Totally worth the visit!!

Had a great time learning how tea is harvested and made at the only tea farm in the United States. Trolley tour around farm was very informative. Gift shop was awesome. If you are in the area, it is a must see.

What a fun visit! I had no idea that the main teas were all made from the same plant. The video is very informative and will give you an approximation of the magical qualities of tea leaves. The gift shop has a lot of interesting items.

Spur of the moment side quest. 💯% worth it. The trolley tour was a beautiful, educational and entertaining experience. Our guide and trolley driver was great. We enjoyed ourselves beyond belief.

I came with low expectations and left with surprisingly high realizations. The trolley tour was more fun than I thought that it would be. The tour guide (Kimberly? I'm sorry if that isn't your name) was hilarious. The actual ride of the tour was not particularly special but the guide made it fun. I tried to watch the factory tour videos but someone released about a dozen ankle biters into the building. They were loud and made watching the video impossible. Still, seeing the process was interesting. They had free tea tasting samples. I might have indulged too much. Can tea make you drunk? Anyway... we ended up having a lot of fun. If a fat, middle aged, bearded white guy can have fun, so can you.

Great tea learning opportunity with friendly staff and fun and super interesting trolly tour the factory tour was good too the have free tasting of all both hot and cold and an awesome gift shop. Beautiful grounds and large restrooms everything is clean and well kept.

Incredible to see such a massive, historic tree in person! We stopped for about 15 minutes on our drive from Hilton Head to Charleston, which was the perfect amount of time to take it all in. There’s a small gift shop and restrooms on-site, along with plenty of parking. Other than the tree itself, there aren’t additional attractions, but the visit is well worth it.

Exceptional experience! The history behind the tree is impressive and history that happened around the area. You have to be incredibly respectful of the area to make sure no damage is done to the tree. Our family enjoyed it. The kid had a hard time staying away from touching it! Once in a lifetime visit.

The Angel Oak Tree is truly breathtaking massive, peaceful, and full of history. Standing under a tree that’s over 400 years old was such a magical experience. The area is well-maintained, and there’s no entry fee, which is amazing. You’ll find benches to sit and soak in the beauty, and it’s a great spot for photos. Parking is free but can get full during busy hours, so try to go early. Highly recommend adding this to your Charleston trip.

This is a short stop, but worth the time and drive. There are picnic tables if you want to pack a lunch and enjoy it near the tree. Don’t forget to visit the gift shop. Parking is limited. There is no space for uber drivers to sit and wait for you.

These pictures and almost every other picture I have ever seen of this Oak tree doesn't do it justice. It is so much more beautiful and larger than I thought it was. I am so glad I was able to visit.

Paying a visit to Angel Oak on Johns Island is well worth the pretty 30-minute drive from downtown. It is one of Charleston's most photographed icons on Johns Island: the Angel Oak. Known as one of the most beautiful trees in the world, Angel Oak is another Charleston treasure. It is between 400 and 500 years old, making it one of the oldest living trees east of the Mississippi, and its canopy shades more than 20,000 square feet. The gorgeous tree is 65 feet high, with a circumference of 25.5 feet. Pose next to its long limbs. Angel Oak is only a 30-minute drive from the city, and the surrounding park offers free admission

This is a very special place. If you were anywhere within 100 miles you need to come see this marvel of a tree. It is breathtaking and completely in its natural surroundings. Pets have to stay 100 feet away and they have portable bathrooms, but don’t let that stop you, come see this wonder.

I highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance. It made the entrance easy and was able to plan ahead to think about what guided tours we wanted to do in advance. The grounds at Middleton are gorgeous! We learned about the Middleton family, some of the people who worked on the plantation through the years and the historical significance of plantation in shaping history. I wished the docent were more explicit about why the black slaves did not runaway or when they did the harsh repercussions. There was vert discussion about the psychological scarring of slavery and the fear instilled upon all.

It’s like taking a step back in time when entering this rice plantation. The gardens are kept in a way that you can feel the history and age. The knowledge from the staff and the few tours we did was impressive. We spent about 4hrs doing two small tours and enjoying the grounds.

I’m really glad I had the opportunity to visit this plantation. Its story is at the heart of America’s colonial beginnings. Several tours are included with the price of admission and I appreciated their Garden Tour as well as their Beyond Slavery Tour. Whether your walking the grounds, coming for lunch, or learning it’s deep history, one could easily spend the day here.

My daughters and I visited yesterday. We took the Beyond the Fields tour, about the Enslaved People's experience, with Linda. We all found it to be very informative and even emotional. The property is well preserved and tended and the docents are quite knowledgeable. The Middleton Oak is magnificent. Being mid-August, the weather was hot and humid which, combined with an approaching thunderstorm, cut our visit short. We agreed that our visit was a highlight of the trip.

This place is absolutely beautiful and the guides are great! Put on your walking shoes and prepare to see alligators. I would like to see access to the house included in admission price as it is not cheap. Also please have sandwiches/wraps in snack bar that is at entrance.

We were in town from Michigan to attend a Sunday wedding. The wind was very strong and the temperature really dropped. The wedding was held outside by the large trees. It was very scenic but quite a walk from the parking lot to spot wearing high heels. The parlor where the reception was held was a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests. There were no cocktail tables to place snacks and cocktails prior to the reception starting. The food was great and the bartenders were very attentive. It was a romantic spot for a wedding but from a logistics perspective, very challenging to get transportation to and from our hotel. Guests had to take the shuttle to and from the venue. The reception ended by 10:30 PM to account for the return shuttles to the hotel. Family and friends made it a wonderful event.

I could have spent days here instead of just a few hours. The vast grounds offer dazzling landscapes. There are tours and stories about the generations of families who lived here, both the enslaved and the plantation owners. It is a trip back in time.
