Surprised by this little place! Loved the feel... employee was helpful and informative! Loved the “off the wall green screen!” Awesome touch. Had many many interactive & informative displays.

Beautiful open-air square for family and friends to hang out. Also many fun bars around with college students and locals mingling.
Hai T — Google review
Still a working courthouse for the commissioner's court, the county has made great use of its public space with a variety of displays including a small museum. I understand you can rent out the courthouse for weddings or similar events which would be a nice unique space for such an occasion.
Joshua S — Google review
Love hanging at the square, has been a place of music, laughter, families, and couples for over 50 years of my life. I include a photo of The Confederate Soldier, because if we erase our past or hide it away (in a museum) we are doomed to repeat our past. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana (1863-1952)

This is a must visit area, day or nite. Small town feel. Historic during the day and college town nightlife ie .. Museum, Antiques, clothing, barber shop (the Bearded Lady), dining and music.

NorthPark Center is a renowned enclosed shopping mall that has been a popular retail option for locals and tourists alike since its opening in 1965. Founded by the Nasher family, it boasts modern architecture, state-of-the-art facilities, and an impressive private art collection. Following a major expansion in 2006, it now features over 200 shops and eateries, including market exclusives and the first Eataly in Texas.
I'm going to jump on the five star bandwagon here. This mall is way more approachable than I thought it would be. Although they have lots and lots of high-end stores. A lot of the clientele that are walking around inside of the mall are super chill and laid-back. On a Friday night you're going to find lots of families here along with some live music here and there.
Courtney C — Google review
Everything you need under one roof. High end luxury brands. Mixed with traditional mall brands. With no kiosks in the way of you getting around the mall. Instead you have art installations and piano players sprinkled throughout. With a great center courtyard in the middle to enjoy good weather along with great restaurants it’s both a good way to get out of the house and get the blood flowing.
Omar L — Google review
NorthPark Center Mall is a shopping paradise! This mall offers a perfect blend of high-end and popular retail stores, making it a one-stop destination for all your shopping needs. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, with beautiful art installations and well-maintained spaces that make every visit feel special. The variety of stores is impressive, ranging from luxury brands to more accessible options, ensuring there's something for everyone. The dining options are also fantastic, with a great selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The staff across the mall are friendly and helpful, adding to the overall excellent experience. NorthPark Center isn't just a shopping destination; it's a place where you can spend an entire day enjoying the ambiance, shopping, dining, and people-watching. It's easily one of the best malls around, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a premium shopping experience!

Had the opportunity to visit Northpark Mall in Dallas, Texas, needed a dress for my granddaughter‘s upcoming wedding. This mall is spectacular, clean, upscale, designed to perfection. The stores have been there for many years, with beautiful public art, movie theatre and library. Great stop while on vacation.
Aña W — Google review
Very nice mall with lots of luxury stores, including the Louis Vuitton flagship store for the DFW area. It is a much older mall than the Galleria. I really enjoyed the park in the center of the mall. The mall also has a few sculptures in the building, including Ad Astra.
Alex C — Google review
The best mall in DFW. They have purchase large amount of pumpkins to make it special for the season and all the orchids, are real. It’s a very comfortable mall.
Case H — Google review
I was amazed by this mall, it’s so fancy and everything is incredibly clean. The floor is so spotless it actually shines, and there are people cleaning even though it already looks immaculate. In two different areas, I saw people playing the piano, absolutely spectacular! Even though I live two hours away from Dallas, I would definitely come back.
June M — Google review
Northpark Center is a great mall with immense shopping options. One of the largest ones in the DFW area. An added advantage over here is the AMC multiplex chain which hosts or of the best IMAX screens in dallas. Apart from that, you can see the standard shopping, dining and few activities spaces in this location. Overall the location is well maintained and has great ambience. It suits all kinds of demographics. The location is easily identifiable from the main street and has ample parking space

Galleria Dallas is absolutely amazing! 😍✨ A luxurious and spacious mall with all the top brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Apple 🛍️💎. The indoor ice skating rink right in the center is such a cool feature ⛸️❄️ — fun for families and friends! The whole place is clean, elegant, and beautifully decorated, especially during the holidays with the giant Christmas tree 🎄🎅. A must-visit spot when you’re in Dallas! 💖🌆
Huỳnh L — Google review
Just about everything store you could possibly want. I took off a star because it felt like there was no rhyme or reason to how things were organized. Like food places were kinda scattered. Also, the bathrooms are few and far between. But we went there for the Boomont Hotel Halloween thing and that was a good time. Lot's and lots of parking. It wasn't too badly crowded. They keep it super cold but there is an ice rink. So, seeing as how malls are kind od dying slowly, it's nice to have a true mall still around. Wear your walking shoes.
Mary S — Google review
Boo! was awesome! Amazing design and sets - great atmosphere. Went on adult night - could see this being a lot less fun with kids running around. Enjoyed the storyline and trying to decipher the mystery. Two thumbs up!
Michael ( — Google review
Shopping malls aren't doing well in the US right now. This place is maybe 10% full on a Friday evening. The only store that was full was Apple. Still great to walk around. Also, the ice rink is a fun addition for all ages.
Wa W — Google review
It was a really nice and beautiful mall, bigger than expected. However, I think they should have more restrooms. It took a while to find one because the only ones in the area were under repair.
Edith U — Google review
A huge mall - huge enough for a complete day to spend inside. Clean and plenty of maps and stuff that helps with directions. Easy to reach by bus 239 from downtown.
Thomas P — Google review
Me and my kids had fun. Especially we went to see their tallest Christmas tree. And kids loved ice skating.
Zahra — Google review
Galleria Dallas is a staple of Dallas. To me it brings back memories of my children being young and a time that people got together to shop, eat and a good time. Times have changed but Galleria Dallas still has it's Skating rink, multiple shops and that feeling of home. At this time there is some construction going on around it (new Netflix complex, Nov 2026) and inside of it. New stores coming in...etc. You can find a great meal as well as desserts and take in tithe view in one of the balconies. There is ample parking space in the garage on property. Though I might rarely visit here, I encourage you to go, have a meal, do some shopping and take in a little off it's magic. I always enjoy a Galleria visit.

Very nice area. Seems to be a popular fishing spot with the creek running into the lake. Peaceful and tranquil. Public space with the? Only thing being panned is fish, with license and regulations for proper size. Everyone was licensed and appreciable, willing to help each other. Very nice for bicycles to start and walking.
Craig A — Google review
White Rock Park is such a beautiful and peaceful spot to enjoy nature right in the city. The lake is gorgeous, with boating and plenty of ducks swimming around, which makes it feel so calming and refreshing. It’s the perfect place to relax with family, bring a picnic, or take a walk with your pets since it’s very pet-friendly. The atmosphere is laid-back and full of natural beauty — truly a pleasant escape from the busyness of everyday life. The only downside is that the bathrooms could be cleaner, but honestly, that’s a small issue compared to how relaxing and enjoyable the park is overall. If you’re looking for a spot to unwind, watch the water, and spend quality time with loved ones, White Rock Park is absolutely worth visiting.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ White Rock Lake Park — God’s paradise on Earth 🌿 White Rock Lake Park truly feels like a piece of heaven on Earth — God’s paradise right here in Dallas. 🌤️ The calm water, gentle breeze, and peaceful views make it one of the most beautiful places you can visit. Ray Roberts Lake State Park is a must-visit! 🌊🌳 It feels just like a small beach — soft sand, clear water, and peaceful surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing day out, picnic, or just soaking up some sun. A hidden gem for nature and lake lovers! 🏖️☀️

Great place for camping! The park is peaceful and well kept, and I loved being able to see both the sunrise and sunset over the lake. Lots of wildlife too – we saw deer walking near the campsites. A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature.
Jenny N — Google review
The Best of North Texas Camping - Spacious Sites, Great Trails, and Lake Access! Ray Roberts Lake State Park (Isle du Bois unit) is an absolute gem and our favorite spot for a weekend getaway near DFW. It perfectly balances a beautiful natural setting with fantastic amenities. What We Loved: Spacious Campsites: We stayed in the [Deer Ridge/Quail Run/Juniper Cove - pick one if you know!] area, and the sites were large, grassy, and offered a great sense of privacy. The trees provide excellent shade, and the setup with water/electric hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring was perfect. The Multi-Use Trails: The paved trails are immaculate and ideal for biking, jogging, or a long walk. We especially loved exploring the scenic routes that lead right down to the water. The access to the larger Greenbelt Corridor is a huge bonus for long-distance enthusiasts! Clean Facilities: The restroom and shower facilities were some of the cleanest we’ve encountered at a state park. Hot showers are a welcome luxury after a day of hiking. Lake Access: Whether you're fishing off the pier, launching a kayak, or just relaxing at the designated swim beach, the lake is beautiful and easy to get to from the main campgrounds. Tips for Your Visit: Book Early: This park is extremely popular, especially the lakeside spots, so reserve your site well in advance. Watch for Deer: We saw several deer grazing right through the campsite area in the early morning and evening—a treat for nature lovers!
Esteban F — Google review
This very large state park has something for everyone. There are trails to hike, bike, walk your dog or ride your horse. Plenty of camping slots, whether for tent, car, or RV camping. Only surprise is that there are no full hookups for RVs (or we never saw any). They have water and power, but no sewer/black or gray water drainage at the individual sites. To dump waste, they do have a waste station, though, so you can use it upon arrival or departure. And so many trees, so many paved trails! Lots of deer (do not feed the wildlife, though). The lake has catfish, crappie, and bass fishing with a fish cleaning station for convenience. Very nice, smooth launch area for your boats. Plenty of parking in lots of areas. Swim beach without lifeguard. Free life jacket loaners. Playground. Picnic areas, sandy volley ball pit, pier to walk or fish from. So much in this huge park. We love it here!
Ice Q — Google review
I went here for one day camping and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was in the Quail Run area and had easy access to the water. The water wasn't very deep where I was, unless you went out about 50 years from the shore, then it got to about chest high on a 6 foot person. While I personally didn't visit the pier or dedicated swimming areas, they are here to enjoy. Alcohol is strictly prohibited and the 10 PM curfew is enforced, as well. It is a beautiful lake, quiet and peaceful. God bless Texas!
Fryd — Google review
The park is well maintained and easy to get around. Trails are peaceful with plenty of shade, and the views are worth the visit. Great spot for picnics, or just a quiet day outdoors. Definitely a relaxing escape from the city.
Likitha S — Google review
My wife and our dogs went camping at the Ile du bois unit, park has a great walking and bike trails, and the campsites were well arranged, if a little small and crowded. Close to dallas, with almost complete cell coverage, but pretty quiet and beautiful.
Phillip V — Google review
We loved this place. Entrance fee is a little too high for the services. Restrooms are not well kept but regardless you can still have a good experience ranging from swimming in the water and going on a hike and spotting the deers. I would highly recommend this place. Picnic areas are also available and accesible.

Incredible experience. I purchased a gift certificate for my husband and brother in law for Christmas. They operated both the excavator and bulldozer. The experience was seamless from booking to scheduling to day of. The operators had tons of fun and had sufficient time to get the hang of each piece of equipment. The instructor Dave was knowledgeable and very well versed in his guidance. As spectators, we were very comfortable. There are covered picnic tables at each equipment stop - each well positions for close up views of the action. The spot is an easy drive from Dallas. All around highly recommend!
Katherine C — Google review
Extreme Sandbox is a place you can do extreme things with large construction vehicles. Ever wondered what it feels like to drive heavy machinery? Well wonder no further with Extreme Sandbox! I went with my best friend and he had a great time there. There are several vehicles that one can use to push things or even destroy them. Their is the option of the Wheeler Loader, Excavator, and Bulldozer. The staff was very professional and nice. A headset is given to the operator of the vehicle and the guide helps them through the process. The operator guide, directs the operators so there is no chance of an accident happening as long as you listen to the operators. There is also air conditioning in the construction vehicles as well. One of the great things about them is they have package deals as well. And one could potentially go with a group as well. Another cool aspect about the Extreme Sandbox package deals is that you even have the opportunity of destroying a vehicle if you would like to do that. Family and friends are also allowed to view the vehicles outside if they want to watch you operate a large vehicle. It's not an everyday thing where you can just drive a bulldozer or excavator. So if you ever dreamed of doing something like that, I would highly recommend Extreme Sandbox!

Got a package for my husband for our anniversary. He had an amazing time, and can't wait to go back. His instructor was Zac, and he was so talented. He spent all day there and said he was never bored. There was stuff to do that was equally challenging and fun. Highly suggest going. There are also places for families to sit and observe. Our 10 month old son had lots of fun watching!

This was so much fun!! My wife got me a gift certificate for my birthday and, because I didn’t want to have all the fun, we upgraded—dueling excavators! Really great fun. Only kinda wish we’d done two pieces of equipment. The excavator is awesome, but now I want to try the bulldozer. I’m thinking we’ll be back.
A.J. T — Google review
We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday yesterday! They did a good job with the mini-training session and allowing the guests to have some freedom to really explore the equipment and enjoy themselves! This smile says it all!
Dee B — Google review
This was an terrific experience. The instructors were super helpful and quickly got us up to speed. We ran the excavator and the loader. It was not as hard as expected but took a while to get the hang of it. Good spots for spectators and I enjoyed watching the kids almost as much as driving the machines.

BIG BIRTHDAY SURPRISE! This year for my Birthday Jessica told me she had a big surprise for me, but wouldn’t tell me what it was! I literally had no idea what it was going to be but when we got there it was EXTREME SANDBOX!!! This is business that lets you PLAY with genuine Komatsu construction equipment!!! I’ve always been wanted to do this since I saw a similar concept in Las Vegas, Jessica took a mental note and had been planning the surprise! She bought me the “Excavator Package” which is 60 minutes in a Komatsu PC-290! This thing was so powerful and fun to play with! It cut through the dirt like BUTTER and made it seem nearly effortless to dig a huge hole. Controlling the excavator is a lot like a 30 ton RC car, or makes a lot of sense once you get going. The precision on the bucket was so good I was able to knock tennis balls off of cones, play basketball with the teeth, and even PICK UP A CADILLAC! I also got to drive the machine around obstacles, up and down hills etc. It’s like a tank! The weather was VERY cold hit luckily for me the inside of the cab was climate controlled, and I was even wearing a headset where the instructor could help tell me what to do. They even gave Jessica a headset too so she could listen in on the fun! This was a AWESOME gift idea and I would absolutely recommended it to anyone who was ever curious what operating heavy equipment was like. If you’ve ever fantasized about “goofing off” in a massive piece of machinery then this is the first experience for you! I’ll never forget my 38th Birthday!!! Awesome! Thank you Jessica! 🎉

Extreme Sandbox is an awesome experience!! My friend and I went and shared the Ultimate Sandbox package, and we already want to go back. Dave was awesome to work with. We were on the excavators and bulldozers. We had multiple head to head competitions, for technical skill and speed. You have a headset which is connected to your friend's headset as well as the employees, this made communication easy and fun while working the equipment. The time flew by so fast. I highly recommend Extreme Sandbox, it is worth the money!

Frank Buck Zoo

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Small city zoo featuring African savannah animals, flamingo-feeding sessions & a gift shop.
Our visit to Frank Buck Zoo was memorable and fun. We were surprised for a small community zoo it would have such great attractions and habitats to explore. We visited during the week and were able to take our time and not fight the big crowds. My son truly enjoyed the mining attraction and came home with a nice bundle of many gems and artifacts. Staff was very engaging and friendly during our visit leaving a lasting impression to plan our next visit soon.

Better than I expected! I was sad that the otters were not out but most of the other animals were out. They look healthy and well taken care of. They could use more shade for people and the animals but not too bad. Wear a hat and bring a drink.
Maria — Google review
Very surprising zoo with a community park. $16 for me and my daughter was an extremely good deal for a zoo. The zoo is set up as a big walking circle path. All exhibits are fairly close to you so your view of the animals are excellent. Trees provide shade and it is a very clean park.
Michael C — Google review
We live in Frisco and wanted to do something different than go to the Dallas or Fort Worth Zoos. The Frank Buck Zoo was awesome! The zoo grounds were very pretty, and the animals had excellent enclosures. You can really tell how much the people that run the zoo love their animals and how much pride they take in their zoo. I highly recommend the Frank Buck Zoo. We will definitely be back!
Joe C — Google review
This is a great little zoo. We stopped by on our way back from Oklahoma. The price of the tickets is almost unheard of anymore and great value for the zoo. They have more animals than I expected. Plus they also have a petting zoo where you’re able to feed and pet goats! The souvenir shop has a great selection and great prices. Overall highly recommend.
Janet O — Google review
Small zoo but tidy and plenty of shade. The capybara experience includes feeding leafs of lettuce to the capybara. Not allowed to pet which was a bummer. Interaction only last as long as the lettuce so feed them slowly if you want more than 5 minutes with them. Nice gift shop with affordable frozen treats and cold drinks. Clean bathrooms. Both of the cold drink beverage machines near the giraffes would not work with credit card payment or cash. They said directly in the hot sun though there is shade in the picnic area very close to them.
J W — Google review
Love this little zoo. Small but feel up close and personal with the animals. I live an hr away from this zoo; my kiddos ask to go at least once a month.
Lyndsie B — Google review
We didn't go into the zoo this trip but I highly recommend you visit. Large enough for the animals small enough for humans to see everything. Our reason for stopping was the playground and picnic table. The shade provided protection from the sun and made it comfortable to enjoy it lunch.

Visitors can enjoy interactive activities or explore the different trails offered in the sanctuary. Had the best experience with our grandkids, they are three and five and it was a great day of much needed nature and adventure. They loved the bugs exhibit, we hiked 4 miles worth of beautiful trails and they played in the village of tiny houses. There were butterflies everywhere and beautiful wild flowers along the trails. We packed a picnic and had lunch by the pond. Clean restrooms, cute indoor exhibits, outdoor classes and little gift shop.

It was amazing! I had a great time! The trails are so beautiful, and the museum is very kid friendly. The butterfly exhibit was gorgeous. Its a pretty easy trail to take if you're just getting into hiking/walking trails. There's a bit of up and down, but its very clearly marked. The employees were all very kind and well educated. I do hope they get a little friend for the racoon, though!

Oh my gosh! What fun! It was a beautiful day, there was a cool breeze and lots of parents and their children looking at the magnificent Bugs Live displays throughout the beautiful nature center, the kiddos buzzing with excitement!! Some of the bugs, were automated and so fascinating... Keep in mind the butterfly exhibit will be open next week... Remember sunscreen and insect repellent... The exhibit will be on display until June 29th, 2025... You won't be disappointed!

Had a good time exploring the area today and it was free entry this weekend if we brought plastic bags! I wasn't expecting to see foxes and stuff so that was cool.

We went for Bug's Live. It was a decent size trail for the event specially with little kids. Not all the bugs moved or made noises but kids still loved it. Staff was very friendly. The museum itself was decent size. Not huge but so many great things to look at! Gift shop was nice as well. Kids had to leave with something lol not too expensive compared to other places. We loved it. We traveled 30 mins to get there and would do it again! Plus all the flowers were beautiful along the trail.

great park for kids to explore all kinds of fossils and native texas animals up close, I enjoyed the wood paved trails since no one was on it and it was extremely easy to walk. this is maybe a one and done type place

Adventure day for the week. Choose Heard Natural Science Museum and it was a great choice. Plenty of sights to see and places to explore. The kiddo and I had a blast with all the insect displays and indoor Museum. Will definitely be returning.

I really had a great time going with the family. We've been there before when they had the dinosaur exhibit, and it was just as fun walking through the trails and getting to see the sculptures and animatronics. The trails let's you connect with nature. Parking was a bit busy and a little small, but we were able to find a spot fairly quickly.

Historic Downtown McKinney

Historic Downtown McKinney is a vibrant district with a laid-back nightlife, offering an array of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars for socializing or date nights. The area features over 120 shops including boutiques, art galleries, and antique stores. Visitors can enjoy live performances, escape room events at Exit Plan, and board games at Carpe Diem Comics.
McKinney is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. The centre of the downtown is the historic McKinney performing arts center, which is surrounded by 19th century buildings which are very well preserved. These buildings currently house, restaurants, art, galleries, bars, clothing, shops, souvenir, shops, barbershops, and many other local businesses. Not a single franchise in sight!.The area is safe, clean and very comfortable. Definitely worth visiting. There is free 3 Hour St. parking from 8 AM to 5 PM daily so parking is not an issue.

McKinney’s Oktoberfest is a lively, family-friendly celebration in the heart of Historic Downtown. The cobblestone streets come alive with cheerful Bavarian music, hearty German food, and plenty of beer. From weenie dog races to stein-holding contests, there’s something for everyone. A fun mix of local charm and traditional Oktoberfest spirit—definitely worth a visit!

Such a cute, homey downtown area!! The small businesses and shops have unique trinkets, delicious coffee/treats, and great gifts. They do a lot of family friendly/neighborhood events in the square and I absolutely LOVE their winter decor. I call it the little Christmas town! It is worth a visit and it’s an enjoyable square that you’re sure to find something you like!

Choctaw Casino & Resort-Durant is a luxurious casino hotel that has been recognized with 11 first place finishes in the annual Best of Dining & Nightlife Awards by Casino Player Magazine. This AAA Four-Diamond entertainment destination offers a wide range of amenities, including a conference center, outdoor pools, spa, dining options, and entertainment. Guests can enjoy spacious and clean rooms in the new Sky Tower with beautiful views from the balcony. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating.
Came for our 25th Anniversary. Stayed at the Sky Tower hotel this time. Beautiful decor, quiet room on 10th floor. Walk in shower and balcony over the pool. Casino had a large number of slots and tables, old and new. Busy in the evening, but many games available to play. Lots of great food places and a large arcade for kids with bowling, movies and carvel ice cream available to purchase. For us sports fans several locations to watch football games and all our food was great. Appreciated having Starbucks near the elevators, as I am not much for making my own coffee while on the road. A wonderful get away with slots that do pay out, so had fun winning! Easy drive up from Texas, right off of 75 so can't miss it. Fee Valet was nice! Can't wait to go back for another weekend.

Rooms were nice with large restrooms. First and foremost.. I GET it's a casino, but it would be nice for the main entrance and check in desk to be in an area other than the main casino area where the smell of cigarettes smack you in the face as you walk in the main door. And if you have kids.. I would say it is cool they have things to do for kids (movie theater, arcade and bowling) in the non smoking area... but to get to that area you have walk through the smoking section.

Love all of the recent updates. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do outside of gambling. The pool is top notch in the summer. The cabanas are well worth the expense! My only complaint is the showers not having a door or curtain (lots of airflow no matter how hot the water is… it gets cold), also be aware majority of the rooms do not offer a microwave only a mini fridge. I believe the “premium” rooms do come with one. There unfortunately does not seem to be room service, which is also a little disappointing for the full stay experience. Overall we have visited dozens of times and will continue. Very easy drive from Dallas and conveniently located right of the highway.

My wife and I love Choctaw Casino and Resort. The folks who manage this property really know what they are doing. We have been visiting the casino for many years now and it just keeps getting better. Love the slots, the restaurants, the room, the bed, the shower, the cleanliness.... I Honestly can't think of anything that I would complain about. Keep up the great work. Thank you!

Impressive facilities marred by less-than-ideal execution. We came from OKC for a concert, and the hotel, surprisingly, did not seemed prepared for the event. We checked in and requested the tower nearest the venue (mobility issues explained) and our request was cheerfully ignored. The clerk explained we could take the shuttle back to the venue "which runs constantly and takes just a couple of minutes." That was false. We cued up 30 minutes in advance and fell into an angry scrum of fellow would-be travelers. There was no shuttle to be found. The valet supervisor sang her best rendition of the old administrative favorite: "It's Not My Problem, It's Not My Department." I did not sing along. We had to get our own car and go to the venue tower. There, met by huge traffic and no way to make the concert on time, my escalation to yet another valet supervisor finally had our car parked and us underway. The room was nearly $330 per night, but it included a view of the casino roof and attractive industrial HVAC units. We had to call maintenance to get our room under 75 degrees, despite it running at the posted 60 degrees for 4 hours. Really, folks, we spent $1,000 for a night in 'Vegas that was really nothing more than another Indian Casino. Save your money and stay elsewhere. The concert, however, was 5 stars.

Omg the rooms are great! The entire hotel is amazing! It's kid friendly and many fun things to do with family. We had a great time and we only stayed 1 night. I really enjoyed the casino, that had all my favorite slot machine so I wasn't disappointed. The drinks was 👌🏾🫠, lol. So many bars throughout the casino and pool area. I really like the fact that they have a kid-friendly pool separate from the adult pool area. JUST GO VISIT, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Donella D — Google review
One of my favorite casinos I have been to. They casino is very clean with lot of options to play. The rooms are always clean and quite to be able to rest while visiting. The employee are friendly and accommodating as well. Every time I'm staying near Dallas I just stay here as it's not to far in my option
Anthony A — Google review
Didn't stay here but sure enjoyed the casino. This place is huge and well done. While the Winstar Casino in Thackerville is slightly larger, this place makes up for it in style. The casino winds around with an excellent selection of slots, food and even a movie theatre. Our only regret was that we did not a lot enough time. We are definitely going back.

Robbers Cave State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Scenic park with lodging, campgrounds & nature center plus trails, swimming & outdoor recreation.
Robber's Cave is my go-to state park for this neck of the woods. The tent sites are pretty well chosen, their equestrian sites are reasonable, RV sites are pretty standard but at the same time aren't lacking anything. Most of the trails are very well marked, the staff at any staffed building in the park have been exceptionally helpful, the cabins and yurts are really nice as well. If I had to gripe, my only two would be the showers being the push button kind that go off after like 30 seconds and you have to push it again and the lack of tent sites that have electrical hookups but those are more personal preference things than complaints. Most visitors are polite and respect quiet hours (which starts at 11pm) as well which is a nice plus. It's a gorgeous area that I recommend you check out, just remember to leave it better than you found it!
Andrew R — Google review
Absolutely beautiful!! I loved EVERYTHING about this camping trip! The tent camping sites are spread out in quantities of 10 and it was not crowded at all. The trails vary on difficulty so there's something for everyone. We did have to drive to the bathrooms from our specific camp area but the bathrooms were very well kept. Pet friendly, kid friendly, adult friendly and family friendly. It's fun learning about the history in this area as well. We will be back to camp and explore here for sure!!
Ashlea B — Google review
Beautiful sights, good little museum, and gift shop. The pool area looks nice, I just wish the pool was open on hot days, and not just seasonally. The campsites are very clean, there are regular spots and rv spots available. Some of the fire pits and picnic tables are covered by fallen trees, but other than that it was great. Good hiking trails, but the outdoor sign maps need to be updated, most of them don't match the little hand-held maps. Overall it is a great place to visit, it was very educational and beautiful. I look forward to my next visit.

In the mountains of eastern OK, gorgeous state park with lots of hiking and fishing and beautiful panoramic views. The caves themselves were also pretty cool. Loved our campsite! So clean and the pad was flat, no cracks. We used this park as a jumping off point to the Talimena Scenic Byway. Perfect timing.

Great swimming in pool. If you stay in yurt I advise bringing a portable potty. I got 1 from Ebay for like $27. Very hot inside in the day time even with a a.c. going. But if you cover the blinds on the door with something dark, it does help block out some of the light and heat but we spent most of our days out and about. So we really weren't in there during the day . The nights were extremely pleasant I can definitely see this would be a wonderful place to stay in the Spring autumn and winter also. Plenty of trails, fishing areas ,beautiful scenery!
Teena G — Google review
An amazing park to hike around, with lots of activities for children. There's a gift shop, camp sites, boat rentals, horse stalls, a pool, a lake, a restaurant(the food was tasty) and plenty of restrooms for park visitors. Really an all in one adventure for locals. You pay by phone or upon entering with cash, $7 or 8 dollars. The Robbers Cave lookout had a stunning view, and worth seeing during each season. A little gem in Wilburton! ✨️ 💖

First renaissance faire I've ever been to, and it could not have been a more wonderful experience! We did the beer tour with the Ren Men first thing, and it was the perfect way to kick off the day. So much fun!! We also did the Queen's tea, which was such a lovely experience. 10/10, highly recommend!!

I have been on Christmas and it’s always amazing. BUT today was my first time going for Halloween and it was the best time ever! And Jeff Hiller even came and sat with me and my husband for a while and we just chatted. You don’t get that anywhere anymore. The atmosphere, the people, the workers, everything was just amazing and I think I’ll be going back before and on Halloween for my wedding anniversary!
Charity L — Google review
The castle at Muskogee Renaissance faire experience during the spring and Summer is a fun time. The performances are incredibly enjoyable, and the performers are professional and interesting. Everything from a man mocking you in a "dunk Booth style" tomato throwing booth, to Coy the self-deprecating jugular/performer, the birds of prey display, the joust, and even the common events and booths. Well done, and well met. The parking for the first hour or so on Saturday is a mess. I suggest showing up about an hour early or alternatively coming a bit afternoon once everybody has relaxed a little bit with parking. The parking staff would benefit greatly from a few more walkie talkies and perhaps someone directing traffic from the highway level on. 69 and the surrounding crossroads become a absolute disaster area for about an hour and a half. A diminished my fun, of that I can be certain.
Jeremy G — Google review
Rain the first day was normal Oklahoma weather for this time of year and left the place a slippery mud pit. But we enjoyed the shops and shows. However the shops not able to take credit cards and the ATMs not working really put a damper on shopping. Day 2 was great, left over puddles made pathways a bit sticky in place but we had a lot of Fun.
James W — Google review
Let loose, dress up, and just have fun! This place is the most fun for adults who want to have fun and dress up any type of way! We are definitely planning on buying season tickets for sure!!! ❤️
Bexit F — Google review
**Disclaimer This was the final weekend of Renaissance** The actual shops were few &/or had little inventory on hand, some had online ordering available most did not. In the event there was something you liked it was ridiculously overpriced or not available in the color!/type/style displayed. The "Tea with the Queen" event was an awesome event and I highly recommend it. I realize it's a mainly outdoor venue, that being said the terrain on the main paths is not elderly, handicap or mobility device friendly at all. The majority of the side paths were well maintained. Overall, the event is fun and mostly family friendly as well as educational(when a vendor took the time to discuss something). The photos I took unfortunately were mostly corrupted due to my phone protesting the heat, these are the few that survived mostly intact.

The Cherokee Heritage Center, situated on 44 acres of heavily wooded grounds that once housed the Cherokee Female Seminary, offers an immersive experience of a pre-European-contact woodland village led by Native Americans. Visitors can explore historic documents, art and relics, and avail themselves of genealogy research opportunities. The tours are educational and fun with interactive staff who wear native spirit shoes to keep the entertainment going. Oklahoman handmade items are available for purchase in the gift shop.
It's truly unfortunate that the Cherokee Heritage Center is temporarily closed at the moment, as I was looking forward to experiencing its rich history and cultural significance. From what I've learned about this non-profit historical society and museum campus, it's evident that their mission is nothing short of commendable. The dedication to preserving the historical and cultural artifacts, language, and traditional crafts of the Cherokee people is truly inspiring. The center's role as a host for the central genealogy database and genealogy research center for the Cherokee People showcases its commitment to fostering a deep understanding of heritage and ancestry. I applaud the Cherokee Heritage Center for their invaluable efforts in ensuring that the stories and traditions of the Cherokee community are not forgotten. It's clear that this institution is more than just a museum; it's a living tribute to a vibrant culture that continues to shape our collective history. I eagerly await the day when the Cherokee Heritage Center reopens its doors, so I can have the privilege of exploring its exhibits and learning more about the rich tapestry of the Cherokee heritage. Until then, my respect and admiration for this organization remain unwavering. *I took those photos back in 2016...

This is definitely something we should all experience if u enjoy culture.. I will be coming back next year.. if u like my post please hit the " like" . Thank you

My tour guide, Bill, was amazing. We got to play stick ball in their village and it was so much fun. We also got to go to Adam's corner that showed what some houses would look like in the 1800s. All the houses were interactive. The staff was very kind.

This place is amazing! They have a guided tour of a 1700s replica Cherokee Village and our guide was very knowledgeable. There was an expert arrowhead maker there and he demonstrated how to use different natural tools to make arrowheads. There is also a replica 1800s village behind the Center that you can go through on your own. They had a Native American Baseball Players display inside before you get to The Trail of Tears and both displays were wonderful! The grounds were beautiful and there are picnic tables and benches everywhere and if you are a smoker, there are plenty of smoker's poles. I love this place and can't wait to go back when I have more time!
Tina B — Google review
I really enjoyed the exterior village tour!! It was fascinating getting to see everything and that it's real structures not cheesy replicas. I didn't get quite the same experience at rural village. A lot of the speakers were down so we couldn't learn about them and the store was bolted shut with no sign. As this is not guided. Without the speakers you were left feeling a little lacking. Also, a lot of the speakers were out in the Trail of Tears exhibit. The place is great I just suggest fixing those so your guests can get the full experience. Also, it's a little confusing where to go to buy tickets and such. There is someone at a desk when you walk in but everytime I started to walk over to ask where to go they kept walking off. As you need tickets for the guided portions I would make it more clear where to go.

Fort Smith National Historic Site

Sights & Landmarks
Fort Smith National Historic Site is a well-preserved 19th-century fortress complex that offers a glimpse into the Indian history and law enforcement in the Old West. Located at 301 Parker Avenue, this site features the remains of two Army fort buildings that played significant roles in American history, including conflicts of the Indian Wars and being a stop along the Trail of Tears. Visitors can explore informational signs and exhibits at the visitor center, which was once used as barracks, courthouse, and jail.
Fort Smith National Historic Site is absolutely worth the short detour off the interstate! The staff here are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and share the unique history of the site. The grounds are beautifully maintained and make for a peaceful walk through a place filled with stories from the past. From the old jail and courtroom to Judge Parker’s historic courtroom, the site gives a powerful glimpse into law and order on the western frontier. There are some really cool artifacts on display, and the museum is well laid out and easy to explore. It’s amazing how much history is packed into this site — everything from the Trail of Tears to frontier justice. Definitely set aside at least an hour to take it all in. Whether you’re a history buff or just passing through, this site is a hidden gem and well worth the visit!
David T — Google review
This is the third time in Fort Smith and I was able to finally visit the historic site before it closed. There is plenty of parking, and it was a nice break from the heat. They have an orientation video and two floors to walk through. It gives a nice history of the area and glad to see it staffed by National Park employees. The riverwalk is also not far at all. The grounds outside are spacious and beautiful. Historic plaques with descriptions are scattered around.
J M — Google review
We visited Fort Smith National Historic Site on a slow Monday, which made for a very peaceful experience. The history here is fascinating, from the courtroom of Judge Parker to the stories of the Three Guardsmen and the infamous outlaws. The site is well-preserved, and the exhibits really bring the Old West to life. If you’re traveling in an RV, there’s parking available just outside the 3rd Street lot in a dirt area next to the big brick. Our 43’ rig fit comfortably, which was a huge relief. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s easy to spend a few hours exploring the buildings and learning about this unique part of frontier history. Highly recommend a stop here if you’re passing through Arkansas!
Christy P — Google review
Due to the government shutdown, we could only tour the outside site. It’s was interesting. Obviously the outside is free. There are interesting informative posts along the grounds. You can still peek between the fence to see the gallows (which are locked due to the shutdown).

Well, I can honestly say that when I walked into this National Park, I had no idea what this Fort was. I'm so glad I came here! Passport cancelation stamps are to the left as you walk into the vistor center. Total of three passport cancelation stamps here. Make sure you watch the 15-minute movie on the history of Fort Smith.

Awesome place. Totally free and I learned a lot of new things. The history was pretty cool, they have a whole historical courthouse and even a jail! Plus some things outdoors. Definitely recommend to visit, even if it's gonna be short. You end up spending some good time there though if you actually look at everything.

Belle Point is a historic site where the U.S. Army established Fort Smith, serving as a crucial point on the border of the Indian Territory from 1817 to 1907. This line, officially marked in 1834, separated the Arkansas Territory from Indian Territory and became the center for enforcing law and order for the vast lands west of the Arkansas River. The site played a significant role during the forced removal of tribes like the Cherokee via the Trail of Tears, acting as the last point of federal land before entering Indian Territory

Best day… even with the trees barren of their leaves, the views are beautiful, the water sounds so great and the hiking is perfect. Devils Den Trail yielded water falls and crags and the Outlook was spectacular. Short or long hiking - go here. Love it. Enjoy it. Just DO it!!

Ladies in the visitors center were very helpful. Maps to take with you and clean restrooms. Devils den trail is moderate, up stone steps and a few slightly harder climbs. Follow the red triangles. Waterfalls had no water- but the views are still breathtaking! Autumn is here and so gorgeous with all the changing colors of leaves. Caves and crevices are closed to protect bats from white noise- basically humans. Cairns all along the river bed that shouldn’t be there. Trails could use slightly better marking, but love that there aren’t really gates or posts or signs etc to mar the natural beauty. We saw a snake, armadillo, deer, and birds. Hidden gem of a park! Gorgeous.

This little hole in the wall was top notch! My husband came across it by accident, and I’m glad we came! The atmosphere was incredible, our server went above and beyond for us, and the food was terrific. My husband even tried some wine so good it brought tears to his eyes. My only concern was the restrooms being upstairs. The staircase was narrow, and you step down into the room where the restrooms are in. There isn’t any indication there’s a drop so it kinda jolted me. Despite that very brief moment, I highly recommend this place. We loved it and hope to spend more special occasions here!

A quaint restaurant with wonderful food and service. Definitely an experience worth the drive. Oh and there's a winery, taste testing too. The beef stroganoff was one of the best I've had, top notch! We started with the Weinkeller Sampler Knackwurst, Bratwurst, Smoked Sausage, and Quiche Lorraine a meal in itself.

Wiederkehr winery is very unique in so many ways. When we arrived at Wiederkehr we really didn’t know what to accept. It looked like something straight out of a movie, the restaurant looks like a hobbit house carved into a mole hill, just like in the movie hobbits tale. I truly can say it had me speechless in a unique way. The server Liz was very friendly, and cam over to assist us as soon as she noticed us. We had a few questions which she answered very politely and even made recent to us! The grounds area around the winery is well kept, even though it’s an old rustic place! We participate in a wine tasting of a variety of their wines. I can say the muscadine wine was my favorite. For those who don’t know it has wonderful nutty cherry aroma and a oaky taste. It’s truly an incredible blend and one of the most unique grape wine varieties I have ever tasted.

It's a little difficult to find this place and in some cases your Google might send you to the original address off of route 40 but that's incorrect.🫣 Very nice gift shop with an incredible hundred-year-old black walnut bar imported from Italy! They offer free tasting sips. This is something that on the one hand I appreciate because if you've gone there to buy a bottle they shouldn't be charging you to taste.🤑 But typically free tastings are very small in a plastic cup. 😣 This restaurant is very popular. Especially on the weekends. It's not very big and yet it's crowded with large groups. It's very Swiss and very cute. I don't know but it might be the only place there is to eat. 🫢 They're updating and refurbishing much of their structures. They also have 30a hookups for RV. 😲 I don't think they're part of harvest host but if you're having an event there in their event building which is very nice it would be fun to spend the weekend there if you have an RV as well. 🥳

Unique, romantic dining experience with delicious food and excellent service! Try the weinkeller sampler sausage platter with quiche and the Black H. Vienna dish with German potatoes. Waiter was kind, attentive and made a fresh pot of coffee for us! A pretty drive to the restaurant. Would be beautiful for a wedding or other special events. One of new favorite restaurants! Highly reccomend for couples, families or groups.

Today we stopped in Altus, Arkansas at the Wiederkehr Wine Cellar & Weinkeller Restaurant—a gem tucked into the Ozarks with a rich heritage. Founded by a Swiss-German family who settled in Altus in 1880, this place is steeped in history and charm. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with old-world touches that make you feel like you've stepped into a European countryside inn. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish we’ve tried has been flavorful and comforting, with a touch of rustic elegance. It’s no wonder this has become one of our favorite road trip stops. If you're ever passing through western Arkansas, this spot is a must-visit.

Although I was en route to Nashville and didn't have time to go inside, I was enamored by this little hidden gem 💎 off I-40... Definitely on my list to visit on my return trip! Beautiful little oasis, and so very welcoming!

Nestled in the heart of Fayetteville, TheatreSquared stands out as a vibrant professional theater company that has captivated audiences with over 200 productions each year. Located in the cozy 175-seat venue at Walton Arts Center's Nadine Baum Studios, this gem has earned accolades as one of America's ten most promising emerging theaters by the American Theatre Wing.
What a beautiful theater! I loved everything about it. The show we saw was amazing, the bar was great (I'm not a drinker, but, apparently, the drinks are very good), the restrooms were nice and clean, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. I had a delicious dessert at the bar - some kind of upside down peach pound cake; I just can't remember the exact name. I am not local, but if I was, I would definitely get a season pass as it's a really great deal!

Beautiful small theater with comfortable seats and great acoustics. The experience was amazing. Getting to hear the music of one of my favorite composers live is a memory I won't soon forget.

Square Gardens, also known as the Square, is a vibrant hub in Downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas. The area is adorned with colorful flowers and surrounded by an array of shops, restaurants, and historic buildings. Visitors can immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere and explore the year-round farmers market offering local produce and crafts. Additionally, during the holiday season from November 18th to January 1st, the Square dazzles with the enchanting Lights of the Ozarks display.
The *Lights of the Ozarks* in historic downtown is absolutely magical! The entire square was beautifully lit up with festive holiday lights, creating an enchanting atmosphere perfect for a night out with family or friends. The food trucks offered a great variety of tasty treats, and we even got to enjoy an open movie night under the stars – a perfect touch! To top it all off, live music performances added to the festive spirit. There’s also Santa house and small play area with costumes for kids. Whether you're strolling around or relaxing with a hot cocoa, this event truly captures the joy of the season. A must-see for anyone looking to enjoy a fun, family-friendly holiday outing. Five stars all the way!

We were downtown to eat at a local restaurant and just happened to be there on the opening day of the Lights of the Ozarks. It really was a beautiful display! There were food trucks set up and the entire square was lively and buzzing with excitement. It was very cold at the time so we didn’t stay long, but it really is a pretty place to go see if you are in the area between November 18, 2022 - January 1, 2023.

Visited the farmers market on Saturday with items ranging from the freshest vegetables and strawberries to artisan soaps and origami earrings. The gardens have bloomed into beautiful starbursts of color. Well worth the visit.

One of my favorite places for photo shoots in Fayetteville. Christmas time, and the Lights of the Ozarks display is unique and truly special for night time photo sessions and wedding proposals. But the square is photogenic regardless of the time or season.

The Museum of Native American History in Bentonville offers a fascinating journey through the rich heritage of indigenous cultures. Visitors can explore an array of artifacts including pottery, attire, and tools that provide insight into the lives of America's first inhabitants. The museum provides a unique opportunity to learn about Native American history and traditions. Additionally, nearby dining options such as Mrs. Shawarma offer a chance to savor Middle Eastern flavors after immersing oneself in the museum's exhibits.
We have been to several museums of Native American History which had very good artifacts from their local area but nothing compares this museum. MONAH in Bentonville exhibits a comprehensive collection of art works and historic artefacts relating to the Native American History. The museum is the rational size, incredibly well-organized and pleasantly uncrowded. The displays are unique, outstanding and varied. The exhibits are well presented with a logical progression of the periods and cultures covered. Collections are cared for at the highest standards. We enjoyed our walk through the museum galleries. It is free but they do accept donations. This is a must see for the area.

This museum is a sweet little gem. My children discovered the museum on field trips through their elementary school and insisted on taking us on a tour. My 9 year old took me on a private tour and told me everything he learned during his field trip. He also did this with his grandmother, and can’t wait to take more family and friends. I went back on my own last week to explore and to look at the beautiful artisan made jewelry in the gift shop. Came home with some absolutely gorgeous new pieces that I love so much!

Free, donations appreciated. We donated through the gift shop. This was very handicap accessible. There were little story viewing areas of stories of some areas that haad chairs which were greatly appreciated. As a adult by myself I ould have spent more time here. There is a large collection of tools, arrow heads, and clothing. It might not entertain ages 0-7 but walking in the front door being greated by a Wooly Mammoth full skeleton was worth it to my Grandsons. We spent 30 minutes here but interested adults give yourself at least a hour or more. Plenty of places to rest and reflect or observe.

This is a small museum but excellent breadth of artifacts & it’s free. We went with a group that had only planned an hour, but we went back after the group left for another hour. I liked how it was laid out so you see the earlier artifacts made of bone & stone, then more intricate effigies, then weaving, beadwork, ceramics, etc. My 10 year old enjoyed the scavenger hunt & digging for arrowheads out front. He also liked the audio tour, pressing the buttons on the handheld tour thing. I liked that the museum didn’t try to incorporate useless technology just to jazz things up & hold kids’ attention. They let the art, history & fascinating differences in culture speak for themselves.

The Walmart Museum in Bentonville, the birthplace of the Walmart chain, is currently closed for renovations until spring 2024. However, visitors can still explore the Walmart Museum Heritage Lab to learn about the history of Walmart and the Walton family. The lab features original exhibits like the Wall of Returns and History of Uniforms, as well as previews of upcoming exhibits.
I wanted to drive by to take a couple exterior pictures but decided to stop and go in. I'm glad I did because this place is really cool. The gift shop has a lot of neat items. The museum itself is very detailed and has a lot of artiftacts from through out the years. Plus, admission is free.
Fettman1176 — Google review
The museum was very well put together. They take a whole journey back in time. Never realizing how much Walmart had an effect in our lives.. One thing that I enjoy the most was the customer complaint wall. Make sure you read it because it’ll give you some really good laughs.
Csterling 1 — Google review
They remodeled it, and it's completely different inside. The layout is better. I visited before the change, and I also saw the temporary location during the renovation. The outside looks the same. They just rebuilt it. They have Sam Walton's truck parked outside (which I'm guessing is a replica because there's another one inside). We especially enjoyed the LEGO display and the sticker printers, although I do miss the name tag one they used to have. The museum is free. There's a gift shop. It's free to get a pressed penny, but the engraving comes out way off most times. There are two stories now. There's a restroom on both of them. The stairway to the second floor is cool itself. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Very well worth it! Lots of interesting info & the museum part was put together with much thought & excellence. Hands-on things to do for kids (or all) & interactive components added to the experience. Don't skip the interactive AI hologram room with Sam Walton. You can ask him questions & he will answer. This is a must-do if you visit Bentonville!!!

I really enjoyed visiting the Walmart Museum in Bentonville. It’s fascinating to see how Walmart began as a small store and grew into a global company. The exhibits are simple, informative, and give a nice glimpse into Sam Walton’s life and vision. The restored Walton’s 5&10 store adds a nostalgic charm, and the Spark Café next door is a perfect spot to relax with some ice cream after exploring. A great little stop if you’re in downtown Bentonville!
Vipila B — Google review
Fun museum of how Sam Walton changed how America and eventually the world shopped. A real American dream story! Proud you can be a born American and still have the American Dream with a lot of hard work. The interactive holographic image of Mr Walton was amazing!
Sharon H — Google review
This is a great museum, telling the story of an American entrepreneur who fulfilled the American dream. The two highlights for me were seeing his office as he left it and seeing his truck with the treasures that he left in it. It’s also interesting seeing the different decades of products I sold at Walmart. This is very well done. It tells the beginning story of Walmart and leaves politics completely out of it. This is a must see if you’re in the area.
Dr. R — Google review
This was a really fun spot. Not too big, but nicely done history. Some neat features such as Sam Walton's office, his Ford F-150, and a holographic version of the man himself. A nice trip down memory lane with displays featuring products from each decade as well as the associate uniform.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a renowned art collection housed in a striking structure set on 120 lush acres. The museum features works from artists like Rockwell and Warhol. It is located near various attractions such as the John Q. Hammons/Rogers Convention Center, Arkansas World Trade Center, and the University of Arkansas Campus. Additionally, it hosts popular annual events like Bikes, Blues & BBQ Motorcycle Rally and War Eagle Craft Fair.
Crystal Bridges Museum is an absolute gem, both for the art and the experience! The galleries are stunning and thoughtfully curated, with a perfect mix of classic and contemporary pieces. But beyond the exhibits, the entire visit was just smooth and enjoyable. Parking was incredibly easy, plenty of space and just a short walk to the entrance, which is a big win when you’re visiting with a kid. Speaking of which, we stopped by the on-site restaurant and I was genuinely impressed. I had a hamburger that hit the spot, juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My kid devoured the chicken fingers, and I may or may not have stolen a few bites. They were crispy and delicious, perfect for little hands. Overall, it’s a place where you can enjoy world class art, good food, and a family-friendly environment without any stress. Highly recommend!

The museum is beautiful and the only reason I didn't rate it a 5 is due to the challenge of finding a parking space and bc I didnt actually enter the museum, so I can't review what I haven't experienced. I saw the outdoor flower (art work, not natural flowers) exhibit by the Asian artist (I think Japanese), Oct. 2025. I highly recommend it and will go back since I am from and live in Little Rock, AR, and it's only about three hours away.

What an incredible museum! The architecture and layout are absolutely stunning, and the art collection is top-notch — such a cool mix of classic and modern pieces. We really enjoyed exploring the surrounding trails too; they’re beautiful and well-maintained, with great views of the museum and nature. I’d definitely recommend visiting on a cooler day though, as there’s not a lot of shade on the paths. Overall, a must-see stop in Bentonville!
BradandJen M — Google review
The buildings and grounds are amazing. The art exhibits not so much. While the museum is free there may be a charge for certain exhibits. The Frank Lloyd Wright house is free but you must get a ticket for a time slot. This information is not readily apparent. The place could definitely use more signage. Did not know you had to take an elevator down 3 levels to get to the entrance. People were wandering around trying to figure out how to get in. There was no sign. If and when you do make it to the entrance lobby be sure to get maps of the museum AND the trails.

Amazing, beautiful, interesting, provocative, unique, FREE! This place lives up to hype and is a MUST in B'Ville! Absolutely worth a vist and few hours! Fantastic for ALL ages and interests. The Frank Lloyd Wright house is monumental find and addition to and an already INCREDIBLE MUSEUM! Also, the outdoor, walking Trail/Art Installation is pretty accessible for folks and so nicely done. Next time we visit, I want to do the Night Walk when the light up the trail, likely making it more fabulous. Oh, and there are REAL Crystals on the trail..no kidding!

I had heard about this museum for years and wanted to go back to the place where I went to college and see this outstanding collection of art. The grounds are so extraordinary, the collection of art is a magnificent curation of American artists with many women and immigrant artists on display. The food was excellent too!

Crystal Bridges Museum is a stunning destination for art and architecture lovers alike. Nestled in a lush natural setting, the museum’s multiple buildings are beautifully designed with outdoor water features and scenic walking paths connecting the spaces. I enjoyed the multi-floor layout for interest (elevators available throughout the entire museum for accessibility.) The permanent collection is impressive, and free to the public. During my visit, the temporary exhibit (Maws) was $15. The museum’s growing collection is thoughtfully curated and beautifully displayed, showcasing both classic and contemporary works.

War Eagle Mill is a charming destination that beautifully blends history and nature. This functioning gristmill offers guided tours that delve into its rich past, making it an educational stop for visitors of all ages. While exploring the area, you can enjoy a delightful eatery serving up hearty meals and browse through the quaint gift shop filled with unique treasures. The picturesque surroundings are perfect for families looking to picnic by the water or watch fishermen casting their lines nearby.
We visited War Eagle Mill while on vacation to Eureka Springs. It was absolutely beautiful! The site of the Mill is just stunning. A real working Mill (and an outhouse). They had a couple little goats on the property that we pet while we were there. The 1st and 2nd floor were made up as areas for shopping handmade goods. They had lots of different homemade canned goods, pottery, goats milk bath and body products and other items for sale. The 3rd floor was a Cafe which was only just opening when we were getting ready to leave so we didn't get the opportunity to eat there. The staff were very nice and friendly. I would recommend this place even if you had a moment to come and sit on the porch swing that is off to the side of the Mill and take in the scenic views. It was just so peaceful and pleasant.

My little family enjoyed our trip out to the mill! There was so much to do on the property from shopping, walking the bridge, playing down by the water, finding shells on the river, and even lunch at the cafe! We also found some AMAZING Arkansas honey, I highly recommend for a day trip!

Fantastic place! Definitely recommend. Lots of neat things. You must get the beans! The beans and cornbread are amazing. Even if you don't think you'll like them, you will get them.

We were over in the area and decided to stop by since I had never been there before. Such a pretty place. Enjoyed looking through the store. It’s off by itself, so not a lot of other businesses around it. My mom and dad used to go to craft fairs here years ago and love them. Glad I got to finally see it. The Cafe had just closed, so we didn’t eat. Really enjoyed our visit.

War Eagle Mill is one of those places you can go to relax, fish, read, wade in the water, eat at the café, shop at the store, or enjoy their yearly craft fairs. They are full of history and beauty. They offer multiple outdoor seating options (about 8 chairs and a swing) plus the entire outdoor area around the mill. You can just exist here without the weight of the world resting on your shoulders. They have a water wheel that still works and you can watch it from inside the store and outside the store. The fall craft fair brings in vendors from all over. It's a multi-day event that is full of treasures and unique finds along with great food and snacks. It's one thing you don't want to miss!

An amazing piece of history! Neat old-timey gifts and some cute goats outside! The cafe left a lot to be desired… and is on the 3rd floor, so there’s stairs involved. ..they could really turn things around if they invested in an espresso machine and had some tea. I heard there were hiking trails, but didn’t see any- it was nice to walk around the property and you could also go down to the stream and take a dip!

We drove out from Fayetteville to hike the Pigeon Trail Loop. We were not aware of this stop and happy we came upon it. The general store is fun and well maintained; the historic Bridge is a site to see; and the mill is a great historic site to visit. On the road out there is also a small pull off to greet an amazing view of the river and valley.

The kind of old times mill and expansion bridge that brings back memories, and connects new ones. The food service is excellent for this austere local; southern style beans were great. The wildflowers and new leaves were out at the end of May, making the visit all the more remarkable within this forested region.

Hiking Trails
Went during the winter so all the leaves have dropped or are brown. It’s a different kind of beauty. The sunset and views were still lovely. The gps told me that it would be a 2.5 hour drive. I think it was closer to 3 due to how winding the road was. It is a long drive on Hwy 23 “the pig trail” with hairpin turns. Then there was 8-9 miles on a dirt road that is very narrow. The dirt road is very bumpy and there are many blind corners and hills where you suddenly have to get over for oncoming vehicles. I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle or one you don’t care as much about. Google maps tries to take people to the wrong location and you will find yourself on a private driveway with a no trespassing sign on the gate. There is a 3-4 car parking area 0.25 miles before that before the turn onto the private drive and that is the parking and trailhead. The hike is moderately easy going downhill first and then back uphill, then hiking along the cliffs for a short ways. The hike was about 3 miles and we stopped to take pictures several times. It took us about two hours. It gets dark out on the trail about an hour earlier than actual “sundown” and that dirt road is pretty bad in the dark. I also lost cell service for the last part of the drive and hike. This was fine until I was trying to drive home and there were several forks in the dirt road that you have to remember which way since the gps is “offline” It is definitely worth the trouble for the amazing views but next time I will definitely leave earlier to have more time and not feel rushed by the oncoming sunset/dark.

Entrance to the whitaker point. The road is unpaved and the markings could've been clear. There's an hidden marking behind the parking lot. Suggest to visit before sunset and not many options available here for camping. There are few cabins available nearby to stay. Have a nice hike

Visitors can enjoy tours of the refuge while also learning about these magnificent creatures through educational talks. The unique design of the refuge allows visitors to observe the animals from various angles, including an open-air tram ride around the habitats and walking down the center of the sanctuary.
Incredible! This is such an amazing organization that allows you to support them by staying there! We had a wonderful stay in the tree house. The views were stellar and we would have coffee(provided) and muffins(also provided) on the deck overlooking a forest and to the sounds of the big cats calling to each other. This is an experience like none other!

This place is wonderful I’ve been coming here for years. They have a variety of animals (although obviously mostly big cats) and they will tell you their stories on the free tram ride you get with general admission. It’s a great place for all ages, and not a ton of walking like a zoo would have. The gift shop is also very cute. This place does great things.

Wonderful! The staff was very friendly and informative. Caitlin gave us a behind the scenes tour that was magnificent! The Safari lodges are awesome! The lady who decorated them made sure there is absolutely nothing that you want for. We were fortunate to meet Tanya (the daughter of the couple that started it) while we were eating lunch in town and she is an amazing person. The work they are doing at the refuge is definitely God's work. They have saved so many animals from horrible conditions and existences. I would I highly recommend supporting them and enjoying the experience.

We came one morning during a trip to Arkansas and it was so worth it! The sanctuary is amazing for what they do in truly rescuing wild animals and not forcing them to be entertainment to the public. They choose to either be in their shelter or out in the public. They are accommodated to according to their needs and do not receive human touch. The tour is amazing in telling each of their individual stories. The animals appeared relaxed and well nourished. They are truly cared for as they should be in being animals previously held in captivity.
Emily S — Google review
Last year we came in the middle of the day and didn't see many of the animals, but since all the money goes directly to the refuge to help with the animals, we didn't mind. This year we came earlier in the day and saw many more of the cats. We were lucky enough to see one of the white tigers come up to the edge of her enclosure (the enclosures are surrounded by another fence, so you're a few yards away from the animals) so we could take pictures and video of her before the tour. We were able to come back later in the afternoon since we still had our wristbands on and saw more of the cats, since it was a cooler part of the day.

We stayed in the Bengal room...Toured the reserve and learned about lions, tigers, servals, bobcats and other animals there. It was quite the experience to spend the night at the reserve and go outside to listen to the big cats huffing and caroling through the evening.

Nestled in the woods, Thorncrown Chapel is a stunning piece of architecture made of wood and glass with 425 windows. It serves as a non-denominational worship center and a popular wedding venue. Inspired by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's students, it has been recognized as one of the most beautiful churches in America. The chapel welcomes visitors to admire its design and offers a spiritual experience. Eureka Springs also boasts other attractions such as St.
Absolutely breathtaking! Thorncrown Chapel is a hidden gem tucked into the woods near Eureka Springs. The architecture is stunning—walls of glass and intricate wooden beams that let the forest light shine through in the most peaceful way. It’s incredibly serene, perfect for quiet reflection or just admiring the blend of nature and design. Free to visit (donations welcome), and the short walk from the parking area just adds to the peaceful vibe. A must-see if you’re anywhere near the area!

Thorncrown Chapel is a truly magical and peaceful place nestled in the heart of nature. We visited on a Sunday and arrived during a prayer service. They kindly asked us to remain silent until the service concluded, which we appreciated as it maintained the sacred atmosphere. After the service, we were welcomed inside, given an envelope, and told about the chapel’s fascinating architecture and the vision behind its creation. The setting is incredibly serene sitting quietly inside or around the chapel feels like your soul is connecting with nature and peace. If you’re seeking spiritual calm or simply a beautiful place to reflect, this is it. A quick note: restrooms are located down the path. Also, across from the parking lot on the left side, there’s another small chapel-like structure, but it’s closed to the public best not to try accessing it as it’s chained off. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Eureka Springs a perfect blend of spiritual peace, nature, and inspiring architecture

Thorncrown Chapel is one of the most stunning and peaceful places I’ve ever visited. It’s gorgeous and ever so magical. Designed by E. Fay Jones, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, the chapel is an architectural masterpiece that blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings. With over 6,000 square feet of crystal clear glass and a soaring wooden frame, it feels as if the forest is part of the structure itself. The way the light filters through the trees and into the chapel creates a calm, almost spiritual atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting for quiet reflection, appreciation of architecture, or just to enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks, it’s an unforgettable experience. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained, Thorncrown Chapel is truly a must-see in Eureka Springs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Masterpiece in the Woods We stopped at Thorncrown Chapel during our road trip from Texas to New York, and WOW - what an unexpected gem! This place is absolutely breathtaking. The chapel itself is a work of art - nestled right in the middle of the forest with floor-to-ceiling pristine glass walls that make you feel like you’re worshipping among the trees. The way the natural light filters through the towering windows and mingles with the surrounding Ozark forest is nothing short of magical. The architecture is stunning yet humble, and the peaceful atmosphere is exactly what we needed before our big European adventure. Whether you’re religious or not, this space has a way of making you pause and appreciate the beauty around you. It’s the perfect blend of human craftsmanship and nature. If you’re anywhere near Eureka Springs, this is an absolute MUST-SEE. We’re so glad we made the detour - it was hands down one of the most beautiful and serene places we’ve ever visited. Already recommending it to everyone we know!

Thorncrown Chapel is absolutely breathtaking! The architecture blends perfectly with the surrounding forest, creating such a peaceful and awe-inspiring atmosphere. Stepping inside feels almost magical, with the light streaming through the glass and the trees all around you. It’s an experience that’s hard to put into words but definitely worth it. A must-see if you’re anywhere near Eureka Springs!

Thorncrown Chapel! It was an absolutely amazing structure to see! It was designed by E. Fay Jones, who was an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright. It opened in 1980 and has over 6000 ft.² of glass covering 425 individual windows. From April to October they hold two church services every Sunday morning - unfortunately, we weren’t in town for that, but we decided it would be very hard to pay attention to the message – we would be looking around and out the windows the whole time! Ha! Note that Thorncrown is also very accessible to people with mobility issues. It’s a very short walk from a nice parking area to Thorncrown on a nice, stone paved pathway. It was definitely wot a visit if you’re in the area! Heck, what am I saying – we plan a whole road trip just to come see Thorncrown!

A must see. It is free admission and is a beautiful work of art. The serenity of the inside makes you want to linger. The beautiful fall colors on display now is definitely an added bonus!

As a destination wedding photographer based in Puerto Rico, I recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Thorncrown Chapel, and I can genuinely say it’s one of the most breathtaking venues I’ve ever worked in. The chapel itself feels like a hidden gem tucked inside the Ozark woods—completely surrounded by trees, flooded with natural light, and built almost entirely of glass. It creates an atmosphere that is peaceful, intimate, and visually stunning from every angle. For couples planning a destination wedding, this venue is incredibly special: the architecture merges perfectly with nature, giving you a ceremony space that looks cinematic and timeless without needing extra décor. As a photographer, I was blown away by how beautifully the light moved through the space, creating soft, clean tones and symmetry that made every photo feel editorial. The surrounding forest, the walkway leading to the chapel, and the reflections on the exterior glass all offer endless opportunities for stunning portraits. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the overall experience is serene, intentional, and perfect for couples who want something unique and unforgettable. If you're considering a destination wedding in the U.S., Thorncrown Chapel is absolutely worth traveling for, and I would be honored to capture more love stories in this magical place.

Christ of the Ozarks is a 67-foot statue located on Magnetic Mountain in Eureka Springs. It was built in 1966 and has become one of the most iconic landmarks in the area, offering stunning views of the surrounding Ozark Mountains. The statue provides a serene spot for reflection and is easily accessible by car. Nearby attractions include The Great Passion Play Amphitheater, making it a convenient location for visitors to explore the historical district.
Came to see the Christ of the Ozarks. It was beautiful. You could freely walk around the statue and there were trails you could hike as well. Wonderful place to be, experience and feel.

Located in the scenic town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the Christ of the Ozarks statue is a striking and serene monument that’s worth a stop if you’re visiting the area. Standing 67 feet tall with outstretched arms, the statue is both impressive in scale and surprisingly simple in design. It’s perched on a hilltop and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Ozark Mountains. The site is free to visit, with ample parking and peaceful walking areas around the statue. It’s especially beautiful during sunrise or sunset when the light hits the white figure in a particularly dramatic way. We can sense of calm and reflection while walking around the grounds. The surrounding area includes attractions tied to the religious theme, like The Great Passion Play and a Bible museum, making it a nice stop for those interested in Christian history or cultural landmarks. Pros: • Free admission • Peaceful setting and great views • Historical and spiritual significance Cons: • Limited amenities on-site • Design may feel underwhelming to some A worthwhile stop, especially if you’re already exploring Eureka Springs or on a scenic drive through the Ozarks.

It was a humbling time to reflect and pray about life circumstances and for others. We were a day early and missed the opportunity to see the passion play. A lot of the other attractions were not open or staffed, possibly because of it being a week day. There was plenty for us to explore, reflect on, and appreciate in the area despite the limitations.
Elizabeth P — Google review
Amazing sight to see - I loved that you can see it with or without tickets to the Great Passion Play. If you don’t have tickets to the play, you can just pull up to the checkpoint and tell them you’d like to go see the statue and they will wave you on through. There’s lots of information about the statue and how it was built as well. It was very interesting to read.

Nice. Worth the trip. I'm a Believer and Jesus is my #1 - but I find the statue kinda creepy in the same way I find all Christ figurines. One of my favorite things there was the Bible museum. I loved seeing that collection of old Bibles.

Breathtaking! The scenery is so beautiful you can walk right up to the cross and take pictures. There are beautiful flowers, landscape, birds chirping. There was a bench to sit and pray and enjoy the atmosphere. We loved our visit.

Very awesome! 67 feet high, over looking the valley and mountains. There is a prayer garden to one side, a baptismal being constructed now.

It is 7 miles round trip. Very , very, trying. I got only two sweet candies with me and on way back felt like disy and very tired. But it was amazing scenery, bluffs, river. If you decide to go to Goat trail from HIH, it will add up another 6 miles to you trip.

Arkansas Grand Canyon

I always have to stop by when I'm in Arkansas. Such a gorgeous view. You don't need tickets - it's free.
Jessica B — Google review
This is basically an old tourist trap. It's just a viewing area where you see a great view of the Ozarks. Worth viewing if you are in the area. We drove 2 hours from Little Rock and made a day of it. Lots of views along the way. Make sure to stop at the Rotary Ann Rest Area and Who Da Thought It convenience store is you are heading that way.

If you are traveling to the Buffalo River area, the Arkansas Grand Canyon is definitely worth a quick stop. I came across the Arkansas Grand Canyon while traveling toward the Buffalo National River, and I am so glad I stopped. There is a small gift shop on-site, which is convenient if you want a drink, or a local souvenir. Restrooms are also available, which makes this stop even more practical during a road trip. Parking is free and available on both sides of the gift shop, so it’s easy to pull over without hassle. Overall, it’s a good, quick stop with stunning natural beauty and the basic amenities you’d want while traveling. Highly recommend taking a few minutes here. you won’t regret it!
Akhilesh S — Google review
If you want to tell your mind that you’re eager to fly and get lost in the vast, open mountainous area, then I would say this Grand Canyon is something like that heavenly place. We drove over 200 miles to visit there, and it was worth it. Loved the tower lookout as well. Highly recommended 🙂
Dewan R — Google review
We were told to stop as we we’re planning a trip through Northwest Arkansas. We changed our route just to make this stop – and it was definitely worth it! It was a very quiet, peaceful side of the road stop that allowed us to not only enjoy beautiful views, but have a few minutes to stretch our legs. There are restrooms available on site along with a gift/snack shop (we didn’t go in to shop). There’s also a tower that you can climb to look out over higher views. While there, my mother found a beautiful painted rock from GeoGirls – the QR code on the back of the rock allowed us to tag its location and then move it and re-hide it in a new location. That was a sweet little find while we were there. If you’re looking for an action packed stop, this might not be it. But if you’re looking for a quiet stop with beautiful views, it’s definitely worth your time to come by here!

It's a great spot! Beautiful view. We stopped at the scenic view before where the GPS was taking us. There was a tower and a gift shop. There is another place to stop by far down the road but it's easy to miss.

Adventure sports center
Guided walking tours of a cave complex known for stalactite formations & underground waterways.
This is the 3rd year in a row my family and I have been exploring caves. Our adventures started in Pennsylvania to Virginia and now Arkansas! This was the second cave during our visit. We got there perfect timing because a tour was just about to start. All the other caves I wear a sweatshirt in but this cave you really do not need one. It has some steep stairs and can be wet. I forgot to change into sneakers but didn't have a problem in sandals. There are a few tight areas and a place or 2 you will need to duck and walk through. If you can't do steep stairs or are unable to duck this may not be the cave for you. I love how its still being explored and there might be more areas discovered. Definitely worth checking out!
Vicki F — Google review
Very interesting guided tour of the caverns. It's a relatively short tour (about 1+ hr), so if you're in the Harrison/Berryville/Eureka Springs Area, it's a quick drive and won't take up your whole day!
Allison S — Google review
Corey was a great tour guide! We were lucky to have just the 3 of us so I feel like we got a one off experience and learned so much about the cave and all the history. My husband and I had a great time. It was the coolest one we’ve been to yet!
Allison L — Google review
I love caves so I'm already biased. But this was a fun tour. Jessica was our guide and she was great. Some very interesting history here. She detailed so much of it. Having some some context on the current owners investment/work on it along with the origins of the cave made the tour so much better. There are some really unique things here, but being able to imagine what it was like while people were working in it was neat.
Jason C — Google review
When you think of Caves your first instinct is not to go to Berryville Arkansas, but boy howdy let me tell ya something, you won’t be disappointed in making this trip! We made the 2 hour drive and it was well worth it. From the local knowledge to the history we learned about Cosmic Caverns made this an epic adventure. Our guide was very knowledgeable, was on point the whole time , had jokes like he just finished a Netflix special, and the group we went down with was awesome. All around a great tour. Thank you for the opportunity and ability to see this cosmic universe underground.
Jeremy O — Google review
Having explored caves all around the country I would say every cave has its own uniqueness. Cosmic caverns is one of the nicest caves in this area. If I had to choose one this would be the one. Have always had a great tour guide that knew a lot about the history of the cave and its structures. Very beautiful cave, but beware there are a lot of steps to go down and back up. If someone in your group has issues walking and climbing this might not be for them. Otherwise this is my favorite to bring friends to see. Have been here over dozen times over the years and always learn something new.
Anthony M — Google review
Awesome guided tour of the cosmic cavern that is still being explored! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour a very neat experience. My family went on a weekday in the fall and there were only two other people in our tour group. We didn’t have to fight large crowds and were able to go right in to the tour without a wait. Spent a little over an hour inside the cavern. After the tour we spent some time looking at everything in their neat gift shop where they have clothes, rocks, fossils, and lots of other things for sale, all reasonably priced too. Great experience all around!
Cody M — Google review
We have lived within a few miles of this cave all our lives (and I’ll just say we’re too Old to die young now) and today was my first time visiting this cave. It was a very good experience and our tour guide, Kaydon, was extremely knowledgeable about the cave and its history, was passionate about his job, and amusing as well. He did a fantastic job. I highly recommend putting this on your bucket list if you’re interested in caves at all or if you live in the area and don’t know what is in your own back yard.

Beautiful park! We really enjoyed visiting Dogwood Canyon. The property is very well maintained. We liked the trails and the history inside the buildings. The kids loved the treehouse. We were wanting to go on the tram tour but unfortunately we arrived too late and they were sold out. So make sure you get tickets early if that is something you are wanting to do. I recommend coming here to spend a day outdoors exploring nature.

OMG what an awesome place! Spent the whole day there. Every staff member was so welcoming, friendly and informative. The whole place is just beautiful. Johnny Morris did a great job with his vision and design. Took the 2 hour tram tour. Well worth it! Lunch in the dining room was very good! Museums and gift shops were great. We’d go back again in different seasons to experience its wonder again!

Wow! This was our first time at Dogwood Canyon and we had an incredible time! We took the tram tour in the morning- the waterfalls and wildlife were incredible! I honestly didn’t expect to be so up close to the bison and elk, it was an amazing experience! Our host Debbee was a lot of fun and very kind! We also went on the one hour horseback tour in the afternoon which I would highly recommend! This was our first time ever going and the guides were all extremely helpful, especially Stephanie! I was super nervous, but excited, and they take care to set you up with the right horse for your experience level. Special shoutout to Ghost for being patient with this newbie!

This is the most beautiful place to be for all of the seasons. I try to go once a year, if not more. The staff here is always so helpful and make you feel like you're family. The restaurant has wonderful food (bison burger is my go-to). The park is so clean and very well maintained. The environment is quiet, safe and calming to be in nature. Definitely make it a point on the map to come visit. Horseback riding & tram rides are highly recommended!

Gorgeous little park that is perfect for an afternoon stroll or bike ride through the best fall foliage. Rent cute little bikes if you don’t have your own! Cute little patio where you can grab a glass of wine and some bites after exploring. Lots of areas to sit and have a picnic with your own food and drink if you want! You have to pay an entrance fee, but it’s worth it!

My family and I visited the park today for my birthday and it was amazing!! The park was beautiful with all kinds of photo ops. All the buildings are full of cool animal scenes and lots of historical items. We went on the tram ride and loved seeing all the waterfalls, fish and the best of all were the elk, bison and longhorns! There were several bison babies and getting to see the white bison was so cool! 😎 Larry our guide was so fun and full of lots of information about the park and animals! Well worth the money and the drive to see the wildlife up close!

Dogwood Canyon was a wonderful experience. We went on Nov 4 and the fall color & scenery were fantastic. We took the tram ride (we're not hikers!). Our driver was very informative about the history and the animals. An all around great experience and I would like to go back in the Spring for all new scenery!

We had an unforgettable experience at Dogwood Canyon. The chapel, waterfalls, and trails are absolutely breathtaking. During our visit, a sudden thunderstorm rolled in, but the staff was quick to respond and guided everyone to safe shelter areas. Their attentiveness and care ensured that families, including ours, felt safe and comfortable. Truly a memorable visit!
