B&B Theatres Wylie 12

Movie theater
Fun & Games
Event venue
Relaxed, contemporary multiscreen theater featuring showings of mainstream films.
Absolutely LOVE it! Especially if you've got kiddos. Love the playground before the movie starts that the kids get to play in. If you go without kids, the upstairs seats have delicious food delivered and drinks. Absolutely awesome 💯
Andrea G — Google review
This was nice for a change. The theater was clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Even the bathrooms were very clean. Nice reclining chairs with a very convenient tray to hold your drink and food. Three issues, however. We could too easily hear some other movie going on next door to our movie. The parking lot does not have enough good lighting - darker than I felt comfortable with. The "special to order food" isn't that special. That food was just okay. I'd stick with regular movie food. The drink cups were very large, which was nice. There is something I like about this theater, but it needs some adjustments. Again, the staff were very nice.
LK D — Google review
Such a fun and unique experience for kids! The chairs are comfortable and have a wonderful seat heating option. The play area is clean and well maintained. My only complaint is the play area was completely dark during the movie and my kids were too scared to climb up to the top to watch the movie (scared of the dark) so they didn’t get to play until after the credits finished and the lights came back on.
Lexie G — Google review
We tried the screen play for the first time today (see pictures and video). The kids had a blast. Remember to come early (30min) to get time to play on the playground before lights are turned off and your asked to go to your seat. They want kids to wear socks, no shoes.
Eric L — Google review
The seats are super comfy, heated, and recline all the way back, which makes long movies feel like a breeze. The theater is always clean, the sound and picture quality are amazing, and the Grand Screen is perfect for big action movies. I love the Treat Yourself Tuesdays with cheaper tickets, and the food from the Marquee Bar & Grille is actually really good! Tickets are very affordable. Whether you’re going with friends or family, there’s something for everyone here. Definitely my go-to spot for movies in Wylie!
Marya T — Google review
Not a great experience. Took my daughter's to the 330pm showing and the theater was a mess. Seats were not clean and overall the chairs are in bad shape. My daughter's did not even feel comfortable sitting back in their seat. The guy at the front desk said he was the only one there and if that was the case, that is not good.
Shaji M — Google review
We had a fun time but the place definitely needs updating. The chairs are super worn. It could also use a really good deep clean!
Annie S — Google review
First time attending this venue. The young lady tried to print tickets, take concession orders, and answer questions by herself, but not quite well. Did not know bar and concessions were available upstairs as well. The theater was small, the seat big and comfy. Did not get to experience the interactive seating this time, but will next time.

AMC DINE-IN Mesquite 30

Mentioned on
2 lists
Movie theater
Fun & Games
Experience the ultimate movie night at AMC DINE-IN Mesquite 30, where you can enjoy a cinematic adventure while indulging in a delicious meal served right to your seat. This world-class cinema offers the comfort of home viewing without the hassle of cooking. Conveniently located off major highways, it provides top-notch customer service and a grand exterior. While prices may be on the higher side, it's considered a five-star destination for an unforgettable date night or family outing.
Location isn’t the greatest but i enjoyed watching the movie with my tub of pop corn and soda. Id come back. Nice small quiet theater where my movie was (TMNT) so they get 5 stars for that.
Arsenio A — Google review
I always try to be open minded with reviews. This theater is 2 miles away, has good prices on tickets, and the popcorn and drink won't break your bank (too much). That said, the place is infested with RATS. Today my daughter and I went to see Thunderbolts* in theater 8 and they were running up and down the walls. I was terrified. Would never recommend this place to anyone and despite the decent prices, will never step foot inside this place again.
Mario A — Google review
Great facilities, great food/snacks, employees are super nice and attentive. Only one small thing to work on. During the first five minutes of the movie the lights remained turned on therefore the screen was hardly visible. Lights were cut off and everyone had a good time afterwards. Other than that it was a pretty good experience. Will definitely return.
Mike L — Google review
I went to see Predator:Badlands Friday and the theatre was very nasty. Me and my husband witnessed a rotten(rat) run from our row down to the next row. The food took very long but was hot. Around the time we went there wasn’t a lot of people. A couple had their small child running up and down the aisle with a phone making noise. I will never forget there again. It’s time to tare down and rebuild.
Sharhonda C — Google review
Was really nice place for sure and I did not know they had small screens for movies that are still popular to watch losing steam in the theater so they put them there. They have food service there too!! Press a button to call them and recliner seats. It was clean with great surround sound and good screen quality. Beverages and snacks were still a lil pricey but the movies were not very expensive so not too bad tradeoff. 1 thing I didn't like was that someone had been on the floor in the bathroom and you could tell. Place needed a mop and a smell spray. It was cleaned up after my movie was over
Nexis H — Google review
Positive vs Negatives First let me say watching the beetle juice move here was amazing!!!! The stage was friendly, and helpful. The seats were comfortable and spacious, great slushy choices, fresh popcorn and great prices. The negative would be the concession stand drink area was a little unclean but then again it was rush hour. Secondly the dine in part is quite misleading you have to order food at the concession stand and they will bring it to you not fun at all. Overall it was a great experience!!!
Sunrise M — Google review
10/15/2025- We watched TRON Ares. I was not looking forward to it, but I was surprised! I really enjoyed the story, music, and action. I would watch it again! The theater was clean and the staff provided great customer service. 👍 😊 We enjoyed watching Spiderman No Way Home in the Dolby theater. The sound and reclining seating was great. They weren't to busy at the time we went so there were no long lines. The bar stools have all been removed, so don't make any plans to sit and have a drink at the bar. The photos were taken on our way out. There was more people at around 6:30. They do need to increase the cleaning of their facility and bathrooms. 03/21/2023- Clean. Great service, but soda machines didn't have enough syrup. We enjoyed our movie 🎥 🍿 😁👍 12/20/2023 - cleanliness and customer service was not a priority to employees today. They definitely need to work on housekeeping here!!! It was actually great that not too many people were there. Tuesday, February 13, 2024- Hubby and I went to watch the Iron Claw. I loved it! We grew up spending time at the Sportatorium in Dallas cheering The Von Erich's on. It was soo sad to me. I couldn't help but cry. The food was okay. The interaction we had with the staff was great! Kaleb at the bar was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful with suggestions. I have to give them an extra ✭, because everyone was so nice💜
Matilda R — Google review
Very grand looking from the outside. Conveniently located off the US-80 and the I-635, however, it's not easy to find or get in, so be sure to use Google Maps to route your way in. The customer service was great as 2 different employees greeted me at the entrance. I had questions and they were able to route me to the person that could answer them. Seems like a fun place but I was not able to watch the movie I wanted so I may be back for the movie experience. The customer service was great though 👍

Broken Bow Ranch

Horseback riding service
Sights & Landmarks
Broken Bow Ranch offers a great horseback riding experience with beautiful wooded trails and rolling hills. The ranch provides an authentic Texan feel, making it perfect for visitors looking to immerse themselves in the local culture. Trail rides are a highlight, offering picturesque views and the opportunity to borrow cowboy hats for memorable photos. While some facilities may appear rustic, such as the barn and outhouse, the staff is friendly and accommodating.
We did a trail ride at Broken Bow the morning of the April 8 total eclipse, then hung out at the ranch to enjoy the eclipse. Really great experience that we’ll remember forever. Was the first time on a horse for my 7-year-old; he really enjoyed it and is eager to ride horses again. This place is a gem, highly recommend it!
Jesse N — Google review
Had the best time this morning with Sarge!! Very friendly staff and a good time for beginners and intermediate riders - beautiful horses and beautiful land. worth the drive!
Victoria B — Google review
Our family had an excellent experience at Broken Bow Ranch. We had a perfect morning - quiet trail ride, slight breeze, and wildflowers in bloom. Our guide was friendly and worked great with our kids. The horses were well trained. A great opportunity for anyone in the Dallas area.
Jarrod B — Google review
My granddaughter & I decided on a whim to go horseback riding. Jeff was great-- got us scheduled that afternoon! We ended up with just the 2 of us plus our wonderful guide Erin (hope I have her name right). Fabulous horses, beautiful ranch-- it was a wonderful time. Worth the drive!!
Judy Z — Google review
I took my 9 and 12 year old here and we really enjoyed our trail ride. We went in August at 9am and the trail was mostly in the woods and the shade which was really nice. The horses were sweet and gentle and the staff/owners were kind and welcoming. My girls keep asking to go back and it’s only been 2 days.
M W — Google review
I love this place. I've had two great trail rides here with my niece and nephew.
Anthony Z — Google review
Highly recommend Broken Bow! We showed up a few minutes early for our 9:15 scheduled ride and they were like let's get this party started. Everyone was friendly and professional. Tool great care of my dad who had never ridden before. We had so much fun.

I had the greatest time! The staff are also so kind and welcoming. The horses and land are gorgeous! I will be coming back for sure!

Ellis County Clerk’s Office

County government office
Sights & Landmarks
Local government office
Points of Interest & Landmarks
My husband and I went to this office to apply for our marriage license, and were pleasantly surprised at the kindness and professionalism by everyone at this office! From the security officers at the entrance, to the clerk at the front desk, and especially Cassie who helped us file for our license, we were touched to have that special moment of applying for our marriage be so smooth and joyful. Thank you all for what you are doing to change the stereotype of government agencies into a positive experience!
Rebekah M — Google review
Came here to fill a child’s passport application. The office was organized and friendly. Took about 15 minutes because we had all our documents. We came on 4/25, paid for expedited, the passport arrived today on 5/7. You will need originals and copies of originals front and back. Also you will need a money order for the passport and pay a separate fee for the application (for the application fee you can pay with your debit). Hope this helps. Lastly, their hours are from 8am - 2pm, not 3 as stated in google.
Beau — Google review
Had a passport appointment today. The ladies in the passport department were very nice, courteous, and patient. They made the process seamless and quick. We were early and rather than making us wait they also started our appointment early. We appreciate them for their hard work and dedication.
Tremayne M — Google review
Went in for passports and my experience was amazing, the lady explain and guide me through the application, recommended places for the pictures and money orders. I was out in less than an hour. Kuddos to Miriam she’s amazing!!
Anai N — Google review
I had a great experience, i went to get my marriage license everyone was so nice and helpful!! Everything went so smooth and quick!
M — Google review
They require you to call for an appointment, but don't answer the phone when you do. Great, I'll just leave a message, as requested. No callback though. And I'm required to pay $35 per application for their "service", if and when I'm ever able to get an appointment?
Rob W — Google review
Went in to get a birth certificate and they were super quick and nice!! Both people I talked to were super welcoming and helpful, only took about 10 minutes to get the document.
Alicia B — Google review
Not friendly. They tell you just what you need to know, nothing helpful. Bring a bank check for passport fee, they don't take cash or credit. BUT they do take credit for their fee and charge you $2 to use! She could have told us this when we had to run to the bank. Also tou have to make copies of your license, any change and old passport- @25cents each. Really.🤨

The Shops at Terrell

Outlet mall
Shopping
Shopping-mall chain featuring a variety of brand-name & designer outlet stores.
Friendly helpful staff, huge sales and Bra fittings ☺️
Rebecca R — Google review
The Terrell Outlets are an older shopping center, but still a great spot for shopping. There are plenty of popular stores like Adidas, Old Navy, and Nike. The layout is easy to navigate, and there’s always plenty of parking, which makes it convenient. Overall, a solid place to shop if you’re in the area!
Private R — Google review
There are a lot of stores to explore and plenty of parking. I only saw 2 places for the restrooms, though. A lot of the stores had big sales going on. The staff was friendly in MOST of the stores. Good place to walk around and browse.
Jenna F — Google review
Hello, I have to write this review for this store. I live in Fort Worth About 15/20 min from the Nike store in Tanger Outlet. The unnecessary rudeness is why I called this location. YOU GO WHERE YOU ARE TREATED BEST, even if it means a longer drive. The Customer Service I received on the phone is beyond exceptional. My background before teaching was In Sales/Retail for decades, even in the summers off, and strongly believe in good customer service. When I called, Marya answered, sorry if spelled wrong) was so incredibly sweet. Not just being nice, sincere! I then was transferred to Sam. I am beyond impressed at the level of PURE KINDNESS that was given. I was having a bad day, Tanger Location just made it worse. When the conversation ended. My day went from crummy ready for it to be over to....OK LETS GET THIS DAY STARTED. Whether or not they will be able to help me, the customer service alone, the pure kindness shown, I WILL 100% ALWAYS go to this Location, Thank you both so much, I truly mean it. Good Service just is not the surface of helping, it is actually taking a sincere interest in helping. Just being kind. Honestly, some of which can’t be taught. It comes from Within. 😊 Truly can’t wait to go there.
Jade G — Google review
In reading the other reviews, it’s almost like they are all talking about a totally different place but NOPE; it’s the same place! This place was a complete ghost town and they didn’t have much of a selection, a couple of note worthy stores were GAP, adidas, Nike and Crocs but only went into the Adidas store which looked like a bargain basement store, not your normal outlet store….they had no “newer styles” or even last season’s style which is what you would expect at the Outlets. With only a few stores worth mentioning and not your normal outlet stores like Tommy, Couch, Nautica and Van H; I would suggest going to Dallas and checking out Nordstrom Rack or Off of 5th for a better selection and pricing. I would not waste my time coming here again.
Robert R — Google review
Some of the stores are worth going to but not to make a long drive to. Many are closed or closing in the near future.
Nita F — Google review
Had made a purchase at the Heydude store about 2weeks ago and was not pleased by my purchase do to things I will not go into 'called the explain the issue and the ladies I spoke to gladly understood my issue and gave me a full Refund 💙 I highly recommend this place because of there customer service 😘 and I will be returning.
Carla A — Google review
Lots of well known shoe stores mostly....a few trendy shops like Gap/ Old Navy/Trendica...the latter shop is super cheap and very trendy young women/ women's clothing shop....sixes only from 0-14...a few XL options...perfumes...purses...some kid accessories...some undergarments...cute place

Fort Parker State Park

State park
Sights & Landmarks
Lakeside park offering campsites & indoor shelters, plus fishing, swimming, hiking trails & more.
🌳 A Beautiful and Family-Friendly Getaway at Fort Parker State Park 🌳 We had such a great family weekend at Fort Parker State Park! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely welcome — super friendly and helpful, which really set the tone for our stay. We were lucky to stay in Shelter 8, and it couldn’t have been a better spot. Clean, comfortable, and just a short walk to some absolutely stunning lake views. Seriously, waking up and seeing that calm, scenic water in the morning made the whole trip feel extra peaceful. It’s the kind of view you can just sit and stare at for hours. The park itself was beautiful — lots of open space, quiet trails, and plenty of spots for the kids (and adults) to explore. We spent our days hiking, fishing, and just soaking in nature. It’s the perfect place for a low-key, family-friendly camping trip where you can truly relax and unplug. The only downside? There’s just one shower for the whole campground. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it’s good to plan ahead if you’re visiting during a busy weekend. Overall, Fort Parker State Park gave us everything we were hoping for — gorgeous views, friendly people, and a lot of great family memories. We can’t wait to come back!
LoveLeigh A — Google review
A beautiful campground! Be sure to drive down to the kayaking/fishing/primitive camp area on the far side of the lake to the Navasota River. Stunning! Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Frog chorus at night. White and great blue herons in abundance on the lake. We stayed here 3 nights in late-August, very few others camping.
Jamie C — Google review
We are doing the great State Park challenge! So far, we have visited 4 out of 89- and Fort Parker was top tier as far as trails, history and water recreation goes. So many great adventures await you at this non assuming, small town State Park. Highly recommend planning a day or even a weekend and going! 🏞🥾🐟🕊
Leah W — Google review
Beautiful sites right on the lake. Was perfect for my 22 foot RV. However, any longer and I feel it would be very difficult to navigate in and out of RV area. (Though it can be done) There is only one road that leads down to a turn around that feels pretty tight. Water and electrical hook ups are available. Very peaceful area to get away and close enough to town to get food and supplies if needed. Good shade provided by the trees. Seems to be well maintained when I was there as far as mowed grass area. Some of picnic tables provided need to be updated due to appearing to be falling apart. Play ground for the kids is within a short walk from sites. Definitely recommend.
Chris C — Google review
First State park that I have been to that the staff checking me in was not nice. Park showers need a LOT of work. No shower heads and extreme pressure takes off your first layer of skin. Trees are nice. Not many trails.
Tracy T — Google review
Hidden Gem!!!! Fort Parker State Park is a nice and quiet park. I was there for an hour and I’m convinced that I am going back asap. The fish seemed to jump out of the water for catching. A must see.
Coy P — Google review
Very clean and well maintained. We saw a number of wild hogs and deer. We definitely will be coming back to camp!

Wolf Creek Park

Park
Nature & Parks
Lakeside park with a marina, campground, boat ramp & rentals, plus sand courts & a playground.
Wolf creek is a wonderful place. The campsites are well maintained. The bathrooms are impressive. And of course right on Lake Livingston so what more could you ask for. Most of the campsites are near the lake. One set is up one a hill away which can be noisy when booked. One other loop is very close together and best avoided unless you like to socialize when camping.
Richard N — Google review
Wonderful spring break with the grandkids. Nice, clean, quiet place, friendly grounds keepers, and campers. Would definitely visit again.
Trina M — Google review
Great place! Very relaxing, good fishing, very clean, and you can rent water sports. We really enjoyed.
Ron L — Google review
It was a nice park and would be better in the cooler months with all the trees it got Stuffy they have a boat ramp and a swim area no beach that I could see and no pets in the swim area couldn't access water from our camp site it had a wall that ran behind the camper and was 4feet above the water bathrooms were clean and had a good dump station
Pat M — Google review
Came here with my family today, it was easy to navigate and it was cool that they had a place where you could order pizza and they make it there and you can go pick it up It costs $5 a person and well worth it just for the abundance of restrooms and how clean everything was The swimming area is what we came for, and it was warm water but still very refreshing in its way
Alex V — Google review
It's beautiful and clean but we brought our boat and definitely cannot use boat ramp at all. Should have said boat ramp was closed and we would have booked elsewhere. Nice place to camp and maybe fish off the bank. Not sure I will come back because they're is no boat ramp and no place to dock boat if you pay to launch somewhere else and boat in. Really disappointing because it is beautiful.
Rachel K — Google review
We camped out with some friends for the weekend and had an amazing time. Everything was clean well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Shannon S — Google review
Peaceful, designed great and the on-site store literally has it ALL! Everything you didn't know you needed from Hunts Bros Pizzas that are surprisingly good to flip flops and swimming goggles! My granddaughter did a lot of shopping on this "camping" trip. We come twice a year in March and this year October to make memorable times with our grandchildren and even though the lake is cold they swim anyway! We love our short weekends here! It's a good time!

7 Acre Wood

Children's amusement center
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Fun-park offering old-fashioned attractions such as swings, putt putt, a petting zoo & pony rides.
This place was so much fun, the animals were so friendly , my 10 year old had a blast. It wasn't busy at all when we went midday on a sunday. The animals are so well taken care of. The young lady in the petting area really seemed like she enjoyed her job. Will most certainly be going back very soon!
Ashley T — Google review
Good, not great. The animals seem a little cramped in their spaces. We went on a weekday and there was a school visiting also. It was a little crowded and the kids were very aggressive - which is understandable because they are excited but they nearly trampled my 2 year old a few times. It would be nice if they tried to steer the school children to one attraction at a time and let families or small kids go somewhere a bit less crowded. Or they posted when they expected schools or camps so you could avoid those times. The place is maintained pretty well, some things are dated and broken though. My kids enjoyed this, but I'm not sure it would be on top of my list to revisit.

Our family had the most incredible experience at 7 Acre Wood Farms! We brought our two youngest children, ages six and four, and from the moment we arrived, it was pure joy and adventure. The place is absolutely filled with wonder—goats, tortoises, lambs, sheep, a sweet donkey—each animal was friendly, fun, and clearly so well loved and cared for. Our kids couldn’t get enough of petting and feeding them! But the fun didn’t stop with the animals. There were SO many exciting things for our children to play on and explore—the big toy, the awesome sand pit, scooter riding areas, putt-putt golf, swing sets, zip line, basketball area, giant chess board, and even a fun little train they could ride! It felt like a child’s dream playground mixed with a peaceful farm escape. Everything was clean, safe, and beautifully maintained. It was peaceful, yet full of laughter and life. The atmosphere is incredibly family-friendly, and the staff—oh my goodness—are some of the kindest, most loving people we’ve ever met. You can tell they truly care about the animals and the families who visit. Our kids had such an amazing time they didn’t want to leave—they literally tried to stay all day! We had to promise we’d come back just to get them in the car. We highly, HIGHLY recommend 7 Acre Wood Farms to anyone looking for a joyful, relaxing, memory-making day with your family. Whether you’re local or just visiting the area, this is a place your whole family will fall in love with. We sure did!

Such a fun day! Our Grandson enjoyed himself. Lots of places to play, interact with animals, and have good ol' fashioned fun. Pricing is reasonable too!

Great place for children birthday party. Petting Zoo, mini golf, lots to do and wide open spaces so kids and parents can have fun. Covered area with plenty of tables and seating. They have food and drinks available and I have to add. The young people were super cordial, friendly and very accommodating.

My wife and I took our infant and it was very family friendly. The petting/feeding portion of the animals was fun and the hay ride was pretty enjoyable. If your looking for a simple outing for your family this is a nice place. My only question is I was wondering where the other 93 acres and Pooh was.

5-Star!!! Looking at Membership!! We are absolutely blown away by our experience at 7 Acre Wood! As small business owners, we know what it's like to get unfair reviews—and honestly, we’re not sure what people could possibly complain about here. Everything was so well-maintained, from the grounds to the animal enclosures, and the entire place had a warm, welcoming feel. Every animal was friendly, approachable, and clearly used to kind human interaction. Our kids (6-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl) were able to pet and spend quality time with all of them—which is something you don’t get at most places. The putt-putt course was a fun bonus, and the playground looked brand new—better than what you'd see at most parks! We stayed for 5 full hours, and not once did the kids get bored. Even in 95-degree heat, there was plenty of shade and a nice breeze, making it very tolerable. The staff was amazing, and a young man named Cameron stood out—super friendly and helpful when we asked about the male tortoises (which were incredible to see up close). We also noticed multiple people working to keep everything clean and cared for the entire time we were there. On top of all that, the food prices were shockingly affordable, which made it even more enjoyable. We left grateful, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. This place is a hidden gem and a great example of how a small attraction can be run with excellence and heart.

There is so much for the kids to do. A lot of the activities or play areas are shaded. A nice breeze blows through the open areas. The animals are all so nice and my daughter had so much fun playing with and feeding them. You can bring a packed lunch or buy something there. They also have frozen drinks, cold water, and ice pops to cool off with. Their prices are very reasonable. Ice pops are just $0.50.

The world, I got 18 items from the store and ask him personally to make sure that the clothes didn't have the security thing, I have to go 4 timesto the front door, because he didn't do his job...what a disrespectful experience..do not go to this place they treat you like they are making you a favor

I’m really disappointed and mad about this. We bought a purse as a gift from Armani, and we decided to return it back literally the other day, since we wanted to buy something more useful. And they told us it was not possible for us to return it back and we could only EXCHANGE it, we knew something was off, and decided to read returning policy by their website and it WAS possible to return it they just didn’t help us at all. A big no from me.

Nice outlet for best selection and best price From G-Line to real Georgia Armani clothing. You can get very good discount if you keep searching here . Products are like in new condition not like other stores where sells and returns and Mary go around. Good thing here is all sales are final and only exchanges up to 14 days .

Very unpleasant experience. I tried on jeans and wanted to wear them immediately. Treated me as a thief. I was not allowed to shop anymore and was forced to go to the cashier. One sale rep asked another one how many pairs of jeans I tried on. I understand this is some precious measure, but please try to do it in a different way and not in front of a customer.

Nestled among lush trees, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a stunning outdoor venue that hosts a variety of live performances including music, theater, and dance shows. It's renowned for presenting top-tier concerts and cultural events, ranking high in global amphitheater ratings. The pavilion also contributes to community cultural programs with its profits. With impressive seating capacity and access to diverse performances, it offers an enjoyable experience for visitors.
Really nice venue! Good food options inside that are reasonably priced, given that it’s a concert venue. Very pretty—trees and nice views. CLEAN! No trash, restrooms were nice. You have a chance at FREE PARKING! You may have to walk a bit and you may have to arrive early but the idea that it’s available is awesome! Even if you have covered seats, it’s gonna be hot. It is an outdoor venue, as the name implies. Be prepared. Bring an empty water bottle and fill it up on the premises. Wear really comfortable clothing. Lawn seating looked cool and we may do that next time. Only bad thing is if you want a chair you must rent it from the pavilion. Blankets can be spread though. Arrive early, get free parking, have dinner, enjoy the show! I’m looking forward to going again
Darius B — Google review
I’ve been to this venue twice now and both times were fantastic! Great venue! Great seats! Great pricing! Loud! Good food! Good drinks! Easy to get to! Good parking! No complaints! One time I forgot about the purse regulation, it has to be clear and small but that was still fine. We went to the “Summer of Loud” concert- need I say more- I definitely needed hearing protection but they gave me some for free!!! 10/10! Highly recommend!
Davina A — Google review
Went here to see Tunechi. His performance was awesome. So three stars for the pavilion experience itself. So yes, we're aware that the pavilion is outdoor/ open air, but apparently whatever tent or covering they use up above traps heat immensely. My friend also couldn't get a phone signal under it though my phone worked well. She has At&T I have Google Fi. I guess it doesn't help for the heat that you have thousands of people in the seating area. It seems I remember there were fans but not sure if they were on. My biggest issue was with one of the vendors there. They were doing margaritas and daiquiris but seems they only had options with dairy. So the one option they told us didn't have dairy, we purchased did taste like it had a little dairy but we dismissed that. But a few hours later our stomachs verified that, yes there was dairy. So better options for mixed drinks need to be provided. Outside of that you only have beer. One other issue was and I don't know if this is on the pavilion or the city; With with such a grand presence as Lil Wayne, there was no traffic assistance there. Nobody directing traffic for parking. Everything was backed up. No police out doing anything. Terrible. So if you're thinking of going here for any events or any busy weekend for the strip that's near, go super early as possible before the event begins. After this experience I realized depending on who I'm going there for, that the best option is to get a room at the hotel at the Marriott. Because even in the parking garage it took us about 30 to 40 minutes to get out of it due to the number of people trying to leave.

We saw Judas Priest and Alice Cooper a few weeks ago. I loved the outdoor concert. The weather was perfect although I can’t imagine what it’s like during peak summer. Biggest complaint?! All of the outdoor smoking. There needs to be a smoking sections as it’s disgusting breathing in smoke from others. It’s very rude in my opinion. Had to keep moving to get away. If you want smoke/vape that’s fine. At least have the common courtesy to smoke in a way it doesn’t affect non smokers. Mid 5/10 cigarettes 🚬

TheCynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion is an awesome venue for concerts. We sat in the pit area the stage was particularly 15 feet away. It was wonderful. The sound was good.. We ate chicken nachos 4/10 Cheeseburger & fries 5/10 1 water 1 Dr. Pepper $59.00 Still had a fantastic time..

We arrived early and parked on the Timberloch lot. Great experience with the whole venue. We also received a free upgrade from our lawn seats to reserved seating, putting us much closer to the stage than we planned. The staff here is always helpful, and i look forward to future events here.
Grendl T — Google review
Great Venue overall. I wish the covered area had cup holders to prevent spills as the rows are small and on an incline. I would also love to see more variety in their food options. If you are new to this venue, prepare to walk, it's a long way from the parking to the venue.

Hurricane Harbor Splashtown is a popular water amusement park that offers a wide range of attractions suitable for all age groups. In addition to its thrilling water slides and lazy river, the park provides entertainment for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy various adrenaline-pumping rides and activities, as well as indulge in delicious American cuisine at the onsite restaurants. The park caters to both children and adults, offering an array of experiences from adventurous rides to opportunities for relaxation.
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is an awesome place to cool off, have fun, and enjoy a full day of water adventures. From adrenaline-pumping slides to relaxing rivers and wave pools, the park has something for every kind of thrill seeker and water lover. The park was clean, well-organized, and had plenty of shaded spots to rest. The rides were exciting, and the staff helped make the experience even better. Everyone we encountered was friendly, but one employee really stood out—Tayla. She went above and beyond to make sure guests were safe, informed, and having a great time. Her positive energy and professionalism truly made an impression. Huge thanks to Tayla for being a fantastic part of our day! Whether you’re with family or friends, Hurricane Harbor is definitely worth the visit. We’ll be back!
Timothy B — Google review
It doesn’t open until 11am. Google says 9am but that is incorrect. Three slides were down so we missed out on those. They closed all slides, wave pool and jungle gym two hours after being there because they said lightning was spotted 5-10 miles away. We did however buy the “all day dining package” and I believe it’s worthy as everything cost $16-20 per food item. With the pass you can get one food item every 90 minutes and it also comes with an all day refillable drink and you can refill it every 15 minutes. We enjoyed the time we had but wish we got to experience more rides.
Ashlea G — Google review
Caution: Double-Check the Hours Before You Go! *Long post alert* Before planning your visit to Hurricane Harbor, I highly recommend calling the park directly to confirm their hours of operation. Unfortunately, both the website and Google listed opening times that were two hours earlier than when the park actually opened. This caused a lot of frustration for my family and several other guests who arrived early, only to be turned away and told to wait. On the bright side, the security staff was very professional and understanding. The guard who spoke with us mentioned this happens quite often, and he kindly suggested some nearby restaurants where we could pass the time. The Good Stuff: Once inside, my friends and family had a fantastic time! There are plenty of rides and attractions to keep everyone entertained, from the youngest kids to adults. The staff throughout the park were friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed by the lifeguards—they were attentive and clearly took their responsibilities seriously. A Few Downsides: Prices inside the park are quite high, though that’s pretty standard for theme parks. The initial inconvenience with the posted hours put a damper on the start of our day. Overall, while the experience was mixed due to the confusion about opening hours and the high prices, we still made some great memories. And at the end of the day, those memories are priceless!
LaRael D — Google review
So the park is actually quite nice. I'm a little disappointed as a person who owns a pass that works for both Cedar, Fair, and Six Flags, and it's kind of misleading. There's no way for you to buy an all park meal and drink pass for Six Flags without paying for a another season pass, even though you already have one that works at both park chains through Cedar Point, it's a glitch. They need to fix ASAP. Also, they didn't open up the 2 highest tallest slides until more than half the day was gone. They said it was maintenance, but it was clear. There wasn't enough people there to justify having 2 employees standing up there. So those of us that came early instead of later in the day didn't have an opportunity to enjoy those slides. Another issue it seems like a petty money grab that they don't provide inner tubes free of charge for their lazy river. You have to walk in it. I've never heard of a lazy river where you have to pay to get an inner tube.
TJ B — Google review
Hurricane Harbor is good park and there are many good water rides. Only problem I see is every time I visit the park there are at least 2 to 3 rides which are partially closed or fully closed. We also visited Tidal Cafe and employee over there are friendly and helped customizing the food request, I want to thanks *Nevaeh T* she did took care of our order. Since many years this park has not changed and lazy river is not good at all compare to other water parks. New rides addition should be done and upgrades are much needed in this park.

Definitely a great family place. Wouldn’t recommend a major holiday lol but we still had a great time. It wasn’t packed but busy. Great food. Great service. Life guards are on duty but you need to keep an eye out for your own children of you can.

Today I brought my son to the waterpark for the first time. My son has some Disabilities and so I did some major planning to make this trip, right. I will say that over the phone was very hard to get through to anybody, but once I got to the park. The staff was absolutely amazing! I didn’t struggle with the check-in through security with his medical equipment or dietary needs. Had a small hiccup, but Officer Bryan cleared it up quickly. They also made my son feel very special and gave him a security hat and a badge and a patch. My cabana host was extremely sweet to us getting any information we needed. I believe her name was Kcj. The lifeguards made my job easier at any attraction we went to by making sure my son’s wheelchair was take care of while we were in the water. Everybody was very accommodating about how to get around in certain areas with his chair. The staff continuously checked on us. Officer Bryan Came to check on us more than once. Even as we were leaving the park the staff was making sure that we were good from start to finish.
Angel J — Google review
We bought season passes for the kiddos because Mondays we are off and have done this for a few years. I understand that the weather has been weird but even on the days where the weather is great, the park has been closed. I haven’t been able to use my pass at all this year and 4 times we’ve driven up to the park for it to be closed. Other families are waiting and including today, the park is closed! Y’all were supposed to be open at 9. It’s after 1030 and people are leaving while we sit here waiting, now impatiently. No updates given either. At this point we need a full refund for not being able to use our passes. The summer is halfway over! A waste of drive time and money!

The National Museum of Funeral History, established in 1992 and covering 35,000 square feet, showcases a diverse collection of funeral artifacts and educational exhibits. It offers insights into various funeral traditions worldwide, including cremation practices and the use of specific objects during funerals. The museum pays tribute to historical figures and highlights significant tragic events.
For sure a cool experience. I took longer than most folks reading everything and it took about 2 hours, most folks probably would do 60-90 minutes. The museum has a “scavenger hunt” for kids (or adults I guess) so that keeps the little ones busy so you can see things. The scavenger hunt has you counting things, looking for things and keeps kids busy. If you complete the tasks you get 10% off at the store. The store is pretty cool, very different items you won’t find elsewhere. Discount for seniors, military and veterans. Discounts for large groups for schools or whatnot. Nice stop to check out.

Awesome, The interior was a lot bigger than anticipated. Walking through the whole thing was about 2 and 1/2 hours. Very great displays and very informational. Very historic experience. The parking lot is spacious enough for the typical crowd which is small to medium size on the weekend. The price is great with only $15 per person. You're allowed to take as many pictures as you want, this makes for a good outing

If you are in Houston simply go! A Surprisingly Fascinating Experience: If you’re looking for something truly unique to do in Houston, I highly recommend visiting the National Museum of Funeral History. It might sound a little unusual at first, but that’s exactly what makes it such a memorable experience! The museum offers a surprisingly thoughtful and fascinating look at the history, art, and culture surrounding funerals and mourning traditions. The exhibits are beautifully curated and cover everything from historic hearses and presidential funerals to customs from around the world. It’s both educational and eye-opening — a place that makes you reflect while also satisfying your curiosity. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the museum itself is spacious, clean, and very well organized. I only wish we allocated more time, we were on a time crunch!

Absolutely fantastic! If you enjoy the history of funeral service, automotive, history of cultures and people than this is a museum for you! You will learn the history of embalming and caring for decedent to the how transport has changed over the years. There is a fascinating display about the Shroud of Turin and the burial of a Pope. Life size replicas of scenes. There is also a room filled with Memorial folders for famous figures in history from presidents to civil rights leaders to actors. The price is reasonable as well and the staff is very friendly and there to answer any questions you may have.

An amazing museum that will excite any museum fan. There is a huge exhibit with plenty of stuff to see and learn about. I went during the Witch's Brew event and it was really amazing to see such a huge variety of vendors who each sold unique items that was a must-buy for me. Pair that with all the unique costumes that other patrons wore coupled with the super friendly and helpful staff made the experience unbeatable. I also really enjoyed the company of the on duty officers that were there. Even with such a large crowd, their presence made the place feel very safe. I'm looking forward to going again next year! If you can get the V.I.P. tickets, they are totally worth it!

I love horror and all things spooky so I was super excited to visit this Museum. While death can certainly be those things, I actually found that they made it less "spooky" and much more informative/historic with their pieces. It was a nice surprise because those in my group who don't love "spooky" were able to learn & enjoy the museum just as much as those paranormal obsessed. The gift shop was fun and a great spot for Halloween gifts! I really enjoyed the look into how different cultures view/honor the deceased. It was informative, fun, and an affordable way to spend a few hours. I would suggest going because death is inevitable and this museum explores it in a peaceful way!

Camping is popular here with well-equipped campsites featuring amenities like picnic tables, grills, fire pits, and restrooms.
I planned a camping trip for my family and my close friend and her family for Memorial weekend. We had a wonderful time! I have been camping here on and off for the past 12 years and I love it. The cabin is the perfect size. The trails are easy and beginner family. They now have a playground and shaded picnic spots. I love visiting the nature center and the kids loved it too. It’s a great place to spend the day or the weekend. It’s really a hidden gem in Houston.

We love this little getaway within the city. My son and I have been visiting as many nature centers as we can. We actually came camping here earlier in the year. Had a great time. The staff/volunteers were amazing and very knowledgeable. Today was got to sit in for the remarkable reptiles talk. Leo was wonderful leading the class. He handled the kids questions very well. After the talk we hung out at the playground ate lunch under the covered area, and we went on a hike on the trail.

My friends and I stayed in one of the lakeside cabins for the weekend. For the price, the place was stable, clean, and comfortable for camping (more like glamping). The view of the lake was very nice. You are able to swim in the lake, but the clay bottom makes it almost impossible to get in and out of, so we did not end up swimming in the lake. The river is nice for wading in, but is not deep enough to swim in. The hiking is very nice, easy to follow on the maps they provide and multiple options for harder or easier hikes. Overall, I had a lovly time, and would recommend this place if you want to hike and splash around in some river water!

Great place to camp or have events. The cabins are $125 a night with minimum of 2 days. The lake is catch/release fishing. The cabins are located on White Oak and Peach Creek. You can reach the other side across from the cabins where the A-Frames are on Red Oak. Take your time and explore everything. There's a lot of places to been seen. Very kid friendly and pets also. Everyone needs to get way from the city and enjoy a little peacefulness. Great place to teach children about nature! Happy camping!

Have been coming here for almost 30 years. Finally convinced my husband to take our RV here during spring break. Have not Been in over a decade. Always been a beautiful place and reminds me of home. They have added so much stuff, and it has changed so much for the better ! Our RV spot was very nice. Every spot has its own very short private path to the lake. Can see the water from your spot. The spots are not on top of other people and have a decent amount of privacy. The bathrooms and showers were SPOTLESS and very close. The nature center is a fun place for children and the staff were so friendly and welcoming and engaging with my children. They have added very easy access to the beach of peach creek 🍑 since I have been years ago. I can’t wait to return !! 💕 🏕️

The shopping, displays, and the size, oh my! What a delight to go to this place after the aquarium. It was a great way to see something specific to Houston while staying out of the heat. We ate, walked, enjoyed, and stayed cool. We even managed to meet some great people like Keke at the Capital One Cafe and Star at Studs where I found the specific piercing jewelry I was looking for, for the longest time! Loved it.

This Galleria/mall has every store that you can think of. So many stores you cant get possibly get to every store in one day. Parking was also very easy and did not take very long and surprisingly it was not as loud as I expected with as many people walking around during the holiday weekend.

To all the shoppers in the USA. I have encountered many malls in my travels, but the Galleria, 5085 Westheimer Rd, Houston , TX. It’s one of the largest and most luxurious shopping malls. It has 400 stores, 60 eateries, ice skating rink, with office space and two upscale hotels. It’s beautiful, clean and gives everyone an opportunity to shop and walk until they drop. Next time you’re in Houston and need a vast variety of upscale shops this is definitely the place.

You can find the highest quality products and the best discounts at the Galleria, all while enjoying a completely safe environment. You can use the parking lot for hours without paying any fee, and also enjoy the kids’ play area and a variety of restaurants. In my opinion, the Galleria is the perfect place where you and your family can enjoy both a great shopping experience and the pleasant atmosphere of a shopping center.

The Galleria has a wide variety of stores, and I was able to find what I needed, including a visit to the Apple Store. After shopping, I enjoyed the food court options. Overall, it’s a convenient mall with plenty of choices.

One of the coolest features? The indoor ice skating rink — it adds such a unique vibe and is fun for both kids and adults. The mall also feels very safe and organized, with plenty of parking available (including valet if you need it). Whether you’re shopping, eating, or just exploring, The Galleria Houston never disappoints. Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike!

Cons: - Crowds: Be prepared for large crowds, especially on weekends and holidays. - Limited Seating: Some visitors have noted the lack of seating areas outside of dining establishments, which can make it challenging to take a break. Tips for Visitors: - Visit during weekdays to avoid crowds. - Utilize valet parking services for added convenience. - Take time to explore different wings of the mall, as new sections have been added recently. First time here. Had a great time watching the Aviators vs the Space Cowboys game on Sunday. I enjoyed their hot dogs. The gift shop has a nice variety of different things to support both the Houston Astros and the Space Cowboys teams. I recommend this place for a family outing. Great atmosphere.

What a wonderful field. First time going and had a wonderful experience. Wednesday night was cheap hot dog night. They also had dogs out there, so funny being your dog in hot dog night. Cute except the one, they're always had to be one unruly fan. 😆 Staff was friendly and worked well. Loved seeing them take a take a garbage sack and collect trash. I would definitely go again. Was nice seeing Jon Singleton play up close and personal. Loved all the parking easy in easy out.

Good stadium with atmosphere and space for the family to have fun. It’s well set up for young families. Parking isn’t ideal as I came on time but had to pay to park on a grass area. They should expand the parking. Food options were standard fried baseball stuff. Overall was fun and ticket prices were reasonable.

Such a beautiful baseball stadium all around. The cleanliness has extremely improved over the past year. Very important at this family friendly ballpark! Will be back many times!!!

All seating can see the field good. The staff is very nice. We enjoyed the constellation field by ourselves. On tour we were able to go in the dugout, and all the suits. We learned about many of the pictures that were around on the walls and the big Ring. They played a movie for us on the big screen and catered to us.

Enjoy this venue. Easy, cheap parking. Clean bathrooms. Enjoyed a Space Cowboys game. I think if you attend often, the bottomless options for drinks and popcorn are a good value. Easy, fast entry as well.

Great stadium. A lot of really cool areas, all with great views. Plenty to distract you & your kids as well. My thanks to Caira & Anna in the team store going the extra mile to help me out.

Downtown Aquarium in Houston is not just a massive aquarium with fish, sharks, touch pools, and educational displays. It's also an adventure spot with a Ferris wheel, aquatic carousel, and Shark Voyage adventure train. This sprawling sea life attraction houses 300 underwater species and is popular among visitors of all ages. It's often included in city-wide tours due to its appeal to families with kids.
Loved coming here with my friend :) it was my first time coming to an aquarium! I didn't expect the rides but it was a wonderful addition to it! Not to mention they had more than just fish which was surprising to me and my friend! We had such a blast :D

Perfect escape from the heat, with cool sights, education, and a nostalgic fun atmosphere. My husband likes animals and I love rides so this felt like something we both could enjoy during our Houston trip. Because we were already a little tired from all of the other things we were doing on the trip, this felt like something that wouldn't be overwhelming to enjoy. I was right. The size of this is small so it can be enjoyed in 2 - 3 hours. There are rides outside and breaks from the heat with all the aquariums inside. Plus the decor, music selections, and friendly staff, made me feel generally happy while we were there. Like we had gone to a good place in the late 90s. It was sweet.

This place was a hidden gem! We went on a Sunday morning and were able to see every exhibit and attraction with no waiting time. It’s is super affordable & teachers are free with ID! My kids were able to see and feed animals I never thought they would be able to.

Very disappinting... I was expecting a fun ( preety big) aquarium/amusement park. This park could be fun- if you are 3 years old. This thing is ridiculous. I wasted so much moeny on tickets for this thing. The aquarium itself is very tiny and it only took me 15 minutes to go around. The tanks were like going to an aquarium to see guppies. Again. And again. And again.... the same grey small classic riverfish in almost every enclosure. The acual interesting part were the tigers. But I was to discusted by thier environment to accualy enjoy it. These 4 poor beutiful creatures are living in an indoor plastic small decorated enclosure suffering with constant annoying temple music around them. Not surprizing to jear that they only feed the sharks 3 times a week as well. This is animal misery. There wasnt even anyone else there. Even the gift shop was small and super expensive. The rides were all either baby rides, or closed, and even the open rides looked like they were under construction, and the staff were hanging with friends using thier phones instead of monitoring the rides. The place was so empty - I was the only person there, and it was kind of creepy. I thought that the whole aquarium was 3 stories tall, but no. The whole 2nd and 3rd floor is for thier restaurant ( completly empty) and thier bar and ballroom ( probobly empty too) Dont ask why you need a ballroom for an aquarium... I thought that the shark train ride would be cool, but the train is a little kids size, and you only spend 2 minutes with real sharks. After that, you just spend the rest of the time looking at a beutiful ( not really) plastic shark and you pass through a not so wonderful parking lot...
Eva B — Google review
The downtime aquarium is a 2-minute walk from post market. I grabbed a bite to eat at Post market and parked at Post market then walked to the aquarium. It was fairly quick. The parking at the aquarium is $15. Valet parking is $18. I only wanted to go to the aquarium to experience it. For Friday, the ticket was a little less than $19. I completed the entire aquarium in 20 minutes. There were many different fish. Also there was a tarantula and a few tortoises. They state that they house for 4 tigers however I only saw one. Most likely I showed up during feeding time. All in all, for one person who only wants to go to the aquarium, it is not worth it. I truly felt like I wasted $20 just to walk through a small area and see some fish. Compared to spending $25 at the Houston National Science Museum. If you are going to attend the aquarium and visit the parks, then purchasing a $25 all-day pass would be better money spent.
Brene' D — Google review
When people say this place is short they aren't kidding. I took my sweet time and assumed these people just ran through. Not the case. Even taking my time I was done in 20 minutes. It's a tourist trap designed to lure you into their cheap resteraunt and run down amusement park. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because what little is there of the aquarium is nice.
Ryan R — Google review
This is great place for Kids. We took city pass but it does not include all other rides. We have pay extra $6 for other entries. I think Shark show is good. Its not very big, we can spend around an hour with basic entrance fee. They have Bengal Tiger which is great attaction. Parking is very costly but there are parking spots 0.3 to 0.5 miles distance which charges around $4 when paid online.
Sai K — Google review
Was really nice for me and my little one, the aquarium has a unique blend of sea life exhibits, amusement rides, and dining surrounded by underwater views. It’s a fun and visually exciting spot, especially for kids and families. i highly recommend!!!

Minute Maid Park, the home of Major League Baseball's Houston Astros, is a must-visit destination in downtown Houston. This 45,000-seater stadium boasts a retractable roof, ensuring an enjoyable experience regardless of the weather. The park features a replica 19th-century locomotive that runs along the west side and lights up and makes sounds during key moments in the game. With over 40,000 seats and air-conditioned comfort, it provides an intimate and lively atmosphere for fans.
Really nice stadium! The air conditioning makes a big difference compared to the heat outside — way less humid too. It still gets a little warm up in the higher levels, but overall it was super comfortable. Had a great time watching the Astros play here and would definitely come back.

I’d say that the food here is definitely better than most parks. Park is easy to get in and out from. The atmosphere is great but the enclosed stadium makes it feel like a giant warehouse so I did not enjoy that. Also the beer is crazy expensive at around $16. Overall my least favorite ballpark I’ve been to but not bad.
Steven M — Google review
Going to home of the Houston Astros, was a blast. The stadium is modern, with a retractable roof and great views from almost every seat. The atmosphere during the game is awesome—fans, music, and cheerleaders really get you into the action. Food and drinks are varied, though a bit pricey, but that doesn’t ruin the experience. Definitely a great spot to hang out with friends or family and enjoy some baseball.

5 star operation happening there, one of the best in the business. We’re chasing 30 and have 22 down, this being one of the best ones. Fan spirit is great, lots of special touches from the train to the shooting stars cheerleaders. Lots of space around the stadium, tons of food vendors it is great. So many food options there, they really did it well. The best part of the food and team store is nobody is turning the payment screen around for a tip, how dang refreshing in a world that thinks tips should come with someone doing their basic job. Went on dollar dog night, Tuesday was great to us. Team store provides military and veteran discounts on merchandise which is nice. Special shoutout to the security there they do well without being rude. Special shoutout out to the great guy at the corner of Texas ave and Crawford, he was helping everyone very friendly he went above and beyond.

Went to the Astros vs Yankees tonight. Had a great time. It was my time to Daikin Park and the stadium was amazing. There were plenty of vendors and tonight was $1.00 hot dog night. The stadium was easy to find your way around and the employees were more than helpful with any questions. Over all a Great experience...

The stadium is amazing but……the service capacity of restrooms is terrible. Considering it’s been more than 20 years, it should be compared wit) Chase field in Phoenix which opened in mid 90s and has better service capability. Food at Daikin park is as expensive as other stadiums, which is good for attendees

The See You At The Top Fleet stopped by Daikin Baseball Park on Wednesday and it did not disappoint. From the crowd to the field, everything about this park shows how strong Houston’s love for baseball is. A great place to enjoy the game and the community that comes with it. SEE YOU AT THE TOP 🚀

It’s always a fun time when you are watching baseball with family- Minute Maid- which is now called Daikin has great food section from hotdogs to loaded brisket potato’s, every beer you could think of, and every perfect snack! Great place for a family experience! I wish it was easier to find better parking at a reasonable rate but with the stadium being in the middle of downtown, I don’t think that would ever change. Definitely will come back soon!

Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land is a cutting-edge venue that offers a wide range of live performances, including concerts, comedy shows, musicals, and more. With its adaptable interior design, the center can accommodate anywhere from 1900 to 6400 guests depending on the event. Located in Sugar Land, a city known for its vibrant arts and culture scene as well as shopping and dining options, Smart Financial Centre provides top-tier entertainment experiences.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Night at Smart Financial Centre! I can’t say enough good things about our recent experience at Smart Financial Centre! My son and I came to see our favorite band, The Goo Goo Dolls, and from start to finish, it was a night to remember. The venue itself is absolutely top-notch: clean, modern, and designed with both comfort and sound quality in mind. The acoustics were phenomenal you could hear every lyric, every guitar riff, and every drumbeat with crystal clarity. The lighting and visuals enhanced the show without overpowering it, letting the performance shine through in a way that felt personal yet electric. You could tell the team behind the scenes really knows how to run a live production. Parking was surprisingly smooth for a packed show, and the staff was courteous and helpful at every turn, from the ushers to the concession crew. They kept lines moving, helped guests to their seats quickly, and maintained a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Even the restrooms were spotless (which is rare at packed venues!). Our seats had a fantastic view of the stage, and there’s really not a bad seat in the house. The Goo Goo Dolls absolutely brought the energy and soul we were hoping for, and sharing that with my son made the experience truly special. Smart Financial Centre has earned its place as one of the premier venues in the Houston area. Whether it’s concerts, comedy, or family events, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited the Smart Financial Centre for the Stardew Valley: Festival of the Seasons concert, and overall it was a really great experience. The venue was easy to find, and we chose to take a Lyft, which made arrival simple. There is currently some construction around the parking areas, so I was glad we didn’t have to navigate that ourselves. Inside, the center is gorgeous, very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The temperature throughout the show was perfect (not too hot or cold), which made enjoying the performance even better. Every staff member we interacted with was welcoming and helpful, which really added to the positive atmosphere. The seating was comfortable and the view of the stage was great, no matter where you sat. We felt completely engaged in the performance the whole time. Overall, the Smart Financial Centre provided a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely return for another event.

Seats were amazing, Sec 102, Row G, seats 8 & 9.. the seats were a direct view to Rob Thomas😍!! It was an amazing experience.. The seats provide quick access to the exit for the break/smoking area, restrooms, and concessions. I’d buy these seats over and over again! Worth it!! I’ve seen this man numerous times over the years and this was by far the most personal experience I’ve had..I want to do it over please, today.. ;-) 🩵

This concert venue is excellent. I live in Montrose and appreciate that it is easy to get to Sugar Land to go to a concert. The seats at the front offer the best view of the stage, but I recommend the seats behind this area. I got a more affordable seat, and I found that I was still relatively close to the stage. The difference in price was quite noticable.

Just went to the Giveon “Dear Beloved” Tour at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, and wow — hands down the best concert experience I’ve ever had. I’ve done VIP before, but this suite took it to another level — the comfort, the view, the energy — everything was perfect. From the Mercedes-Benz Lounge to the purple glow of the venue, the entire night felt upscale and unforgettable. Giveon’s voice hit every emotion, and the whole experience had that smooth, effortless luxury — Taehyung-vibe approved. 🎤✨ 🎶 Incredible music. Elegant atmosphere. Unmatched vibes. And the best part? I bought 3rd party tickets unknowingly, through Gotickets.com and was shocked at the door when the printed tickets were already used, the scanner operater said the seats were taken, so i walked to box office and showed my tickets and email to the office attendant, She and her coworker talked, typed and printed tickets for my wife and I, to our suprise we were seated middle front 15 rows back. These ladies at box office saved our night and made us feel very welcomed, professional and courteous is an understatement, They went above and beyond, to salvage what could have been a terrible experience, We learned our lesson with "Gotickets.com" and got a blessing from some beautiful strangers, God bless you ladies♥️♥️♥️...we will pay your kindness forward, the world nees more people like this! And Dwight Yoakum, Marcus King, and Los Lonely Boys was excelent show, played till well after midnight! Much better than those outdoor venues that shut down at 10:59 pm. We will be back.

Museums
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is a must-visit destination in the city's Museum District. It stands out as the oldest art museum in Texas and one of the largest in the United States. The museum boasts an impressive collection of over 70,000 artworks from six continents, spanning from antiquity to modern times. Visitors can explore its distinct campus and sculpture garden while also enjoying films and programs.
As an artist, I’m looking for Inspiration and I love me some good art. It felt like I was back in art history in college but it wasn’t in the books this time but in real life. First time going to this museum and I wasn’t able to explore the whole museum!! I was blown away how much art and the variety as well. There is sooooo much to explore, view, and read. My realm and interests is contemporary, minimalism, and modern art which they have a whole building dedicated to it. They also have installations and interactive pieces too! Highly impressed with this museum and the staff was extremely helpful and kind!
Crystal H — Google review
Genuinely appreciate that military get in free! However… the layout of the museum is CONFUSING as all hell. The museum is made of like 4 buildings + a parking garage. The buildings with art are connected by tunnels. Everything is confusing and hard to navigate. For some unknown reason, there was weird, terrifyingly creepy experimental music playing in both buildings we visited. It was LOUD and could be heard throughout all the exhibits. This is not an exaggeration, it sounded like tortured, haunted groaning + tornado sirens…. Not a pleasant backdrop to your museum experience. I love music. This was downright creepy and made me feel on edge while trying to enjoy the art. Parking is $10 if you park under 4 hours. As an avid museum goer, I was very happily surprised by the amount of Iranian/Islamic, Jewish, and Indonesian art on display! I had never seen so much from those regions and cultures before, so it as a really unique experience. But overall, if we had paid full price for this experience I would’ve felt pretty upset.

I love the Museum of Fine Arts. Free every Thursday. The arts, the atmosphere and creativity. It’s a great time to stroll and let your mind wonder about the messages behind the art. The varies types of art always has you more and more intrigued and enlightened.

If you’re looking for respite from the heat—the MFAH is cool. So cool! We only had a couple hours, so we headed straight for the special exhibits. A.A Murakami created ephemeral performance art with smoke and mechanical breath. Giant bubbles are released to float and explode in a puff of smoke. In another room, puffs of smoke are generated rhythmically and wafted forward. The scenes are mesmerizing and simple yet infinitely complex. Comfy floor cushions provide a place to watch and be immersed. In the Law building, we took in the Anicka Yi exhibit. We saw moving, lit wire sculptures and a constantly refreshing, AI generated scene. Relax and look for your favorite design. Outside Yi’s exhibit we enjoyed the Jewish and Islamic exhibits. I especially liked the video demo of Islamic calligraphy, and the giant painting of Islamic text with only the vowels and no consonants. You can see the rhythm of the words without the letters competing for attention. I also loved the tunnels and found the chromatically lit rainbow tunnel so charming and photogenic. You won’t be disappointed!

The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston is a marvelous museum, one of the finest in the world. It has a wide range of collection s of artworks of various forms, making it one of the leading museum of fine art in the world. The curating is first class. So is the management. The museum is spacious. It is situated in several buildings and several structural blocks, but these are interconnected through tunnel at the level of basement 1. The tunnels are meaningfully decorated. It has sober parking facility. The elevators cater the need of the physically challenged visitors.

Truly a beautifully large museum with so much to see. I think it would take at least half a day to get through everything. Not only is the artwork diverse and takes you through different times, it has many photo opportunities and a family area for kids to interact. They provide free entry to our service members or veterans too.

This was a great experience. I was temporarily in a wheelchair and going through the tunnels was a little difficult because of slopes. I do suggest getting a city pass which covers 5 different excursions. You can see the tunnel with the neon lights.

Museums
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is a must-visit attraction in Houston. Established in 1909, it's one of the most popular museums in the country. The museum features permanent exhibits on astronomy, science, Native Americans, Texas wildlife, and ancient Egypt. Visitors can also explore the Burke Baker Planetarium, Wortham Giant Screen Theater, and Cockrell Butterfly Center.
The Houston Natural History Museum is a fantastic place with a lot to see and do. You could easily spend 2-3 days exploring the main exhibits to really take it all in. The museum is filled with fascinating displays, from ancient fossils to space exploration, and it’s a great spot for both kids and adults to learn and explore. My kids had a blast discovering history and learning how things work, making it a fun and educational experience for the whole family. They do offer rotating exhibits, which is great for return visits, but these new exhibits do come with an additional cost. While the extra charge can feel like a bit much, the main exhibits are definitely worth the visit. The museum offers a truly engaging experience that’s both entertaining and educational. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to spend a few days if you want to dive deep into history. I’m rounding up to 5 stars on Google because the extra paid exhibits are the only downside, but everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2

The museum isn’t extremely large, but it’s packed with fascinating exhibits and offers a very fulfilling experience. The interactive sections are well designed and engaging, making it enjoyable for visitors of all ages. The mummy exhibit was especially impressive both educational and visually striking. I also loved the sections about space, ocean life, and dinosaurs; each one was full of detail and excitement. The video presentations and multimedia displays were excellent as well, adding great depth to the overall experience.Overall, it’s a wonderfully curated museum that combines science, history, and creativity in a very inspiring way. Definitely worth a visit!

The Houston Museum of Natural Science is truly worth a visit! Specially for kids but equally enjoyable for adults. The museum itself has four floors each packed with fascinating exhibits. On the first floor I loved the chemistry section and especially the amazing dinosaur skeletons and fossils some over 170 million years old! The second floor is dedicated to gems, sparkling with incredible collections. The third floor is absolutely marvelous with the Mummies and Ancient Egypt culture really interesting and full of history. Right next to it you’ll also find exhibits on the history of America. The top floor explains everything about crude oil extraction procedures in detail which was very educational. If you are someone who loves going deep into information this museum can easily take a whole day to explore properly. As I know, it’s also one of the most visited museums in the USA and I can clearly see why. Highly recommended for families, students or anyone who loves history, science and culture.
Dilan K — Google review
I’m a member of the Houston Museum of Natural Science and usually love visiting, it’s one of my favorite places in the city. The permanent exhibits are always fascinating, well-maintained, and beautifully presented. The Hall of Paleontology and the “Death by Natural Causes” exhibition (I think that’s what it’s called) are absolutely amazing, educational, creative, and worth every visit. However, the current Extreme Animals Alive expo was really disappointing. I was expecting something exciting, with live exotic animals and interactive experiences, but most of what’s on display are taxidermy specimens or models. There were very few live animals, and nothing that could really be described as “extreme.” For the price of the special ticket, which is quite high even with a membership discount, it honestly feels like a waste of money. Some areas of the museum were also closed today, which made the experience feel a bit incomplete. That said, the museum staff is always kind and helpful, and there’s still so much to see and enjoy in the main halls. I’ll definitely keep visiting because the museum itself is fantastic, just hoping future special exhibits live up to the title and the cost.

Today was my first time attending the Houston Museum of Natural Science and I was so highly impressed! I must return. I chaperoned for a field trip so the timing was very tight but we got to see and do so much. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but go and take your little ones they will love all the interactive experiences. Make the trip fun but adding a scavenger hunt for specific things. This helps so much with observation. The kids and everyone had a blast I would love to return. The staff was superior and very informative if needed.

Amazing museum. In many ways it's the best I've been to and even surpasses the Smithsonian. If you have the opportunity to meet Mr. Dan in the paleontology exhibits, allow him to give you an u forgettable tour of the fossils and exhibits. He's truly amazing and engaging and he exudes passion for what he does. He made my visit truly amazing and I loved hearing his dad jokes and learning so much from him. It was truly a joy to visit this museum and be able to experience such hospitality. Thank you Mr. Dan and everyone at the museum.

Amazing museum with outstanding displays and plenty of interactive exhibits that really make learning fun. It’s a fantastic place to take the kids — there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The palaeontology section is my personal favourite — absolutely world-class and packed with fascinating fossils. The on-site food is okay for a quick bite when you’re hungry, but the real highlight is definitely the exhibits. Highly recommend taking your time to explore it all!

Very impressed by the quality of collections and presentation. Went there twice during our stay! Plenty of interactive displays kept my son interested. Loved the top floor covering oil exploration and the alchemy section.

Outdoor Activities
The Houston Zoo sprawls across 55 acres and is home to over 6,000 animals showcased in natural habitat-style exhibits. Visitors can observe a diverse range of creatures including tigers, cheetahs, elephants, gorillas, orangutans, warthogs, and sea lions. The zoo offers engaging experiences such as daily feedings and the opportunity to interact with giraffes.
I visited the Houston Zoo and was very impressed 🌟. The territory is huge and beautifully maintained 🌳, with lots of greenery and nice walking paths 🚶‍♂️. There are truly many animals here 🐘🦒🦓, the enclosures are spacious, and it’s clear they are well cared for. I especially enjoyed watching the giraffes 🦒 and elephants 🐘. A special highlight was seeing the bald eagles 🦅 — the symbol of America 🇺🇸. There are two of them here, and they sit under the open sky, which makes the encounter even more impressive. There’s also an aquarium with marine life 🐠, an area with birds 🦜, and sections with rare species. For children, this place is a real paradise 👧🧒 — full of educational areas, games, and activities. The staff is friendly and always ready to help 🙌. The cafés and rest areas are convenient 🍔🥤, so you can grab a snack and enjoy the view. Parking is available nearby 🚗, and the location right in Hermann Park makes the zoo even more attractive. Overall, it’s one of the best zoos in the USA 🇺🇸, and I highly recommend visiting with the whole family 💯.

This zoo is so nice! There is a ton of shade on the walkways, and the exhibits for the animals were pretty spacious compared to other zoos. They had drainage issues in the aquatic area when we went this past weekend so the penguin exhibit was closed unfortunately. The capybaras were definitely the highlight for me. You do need to purchase your tickets online prior.

It's a fairly decent sized zoo, there always seems to be something they're updating & maintaining. The staff is friendly & informative, there's several shady areas that help with super hot & humid days. It's not our family favorite zoo, but it is the closest and therefore we do visit several times a year. We still have not been in the children's area, so no feedback on that, but there does seem to be quite a lot under construction at this time of year. A big plus is all the beautiful landscaping which is well maintained & there always seems to be something in bloom.

Very calm and a nice place to visit with families. The zoo was maintained at all times, the food was also good inside. The lemonade was so good and it was so much compared to other portion sizes. I would always come back here for a good family time for sure.

I took my baby girl to the Houston Zoo for her 1st birthday along with her 2.5 year old cousin. Both of them had a great time and were engaged as we went through each exhibit. We went on October 13th, which was Columbus Day (on a Monday) and it wasn't over crowded inside of the Zoo. We were able to comfortably see all of the animals in each area... including the gorilla's which was where we saw the biggest group of Zoo goers. Our visit was during the Halloween season, so there was a lot of awesome decor, however we noticed that hardly any kiddos were dressed in costumes. It was still early October, so that could be why. Some suggestions would be to pack and bring your own snacks, especially if visiting with kiddos. The food and snacks there are grossly overpriced. They allow small coolers so next time we go we'll pack sandwiches, juices, and cold snacks. Also, the parking was atrocious and a bit aggressive so be prepared for that. You may circle the parking lots for a while before lucking up on a leaving family (then you my have to do the whole "I was here 1st" thing when other cars when you do.) Horrible. Overall though, we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back (probably on a random weekday to avoid the whole parking thing).

This was a great zoo that was easy to get around and lots of shade for hot days. The kids really enjoyed petting the goats. The park was really clean and great directions. I highly recommend it.
Alzira E — Google review
Good zoo. Very, very busy on a November weekend. The sea lions are always my favorite, but the elephants were very fun to watch as well. The animals looked to be low-stress for being in captivity. I actually wished there was more signage talking about the specific animals, and that they have pronunciation guides. I think most signs were in both English and Spanish. Very large zoo with lots of different ways to view the animals. I wish there were more keepers/interns/volunteers educating about the animals or available for questions.
Zoë B — Google review
It was such a great experience! We usually don’t go to Zoos but it was fun and nice to see different type of animals that close. Also, at the beginning there is a guy who take nice photos you might try! Little elephant was my favorite.

San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site

The San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site is a remarkable destination that pays tribute to Texas' fight for independence from Mexico. Dominated by the impressive 567-foot San Jacinto Monument, this site commemorates General Sam Houston's pivotal victory over Santa Anna in 1836. Visitors can ascend to an observation deck offering breathtaking views at approximately 480 feet high, providing a unique perspective of the surrounding area.
I have wanted to go visit this monument for many years! It was great. Awesome views. Great movie that tells the story. Stay in SW Houston when working there and it was a short 20/25 minute drive. So glad I went.
Michael S — Google review
The battleground was a fun time. We stopped here and ran around the park seeing many birds, turtles, and other things. The actual museum was closed during our visit, however we could still walk around the outside and the rest of the park. They are currently doing some construction/updating to part of the park, so there should be some extra things to view in the coming months. I assume this might be from the lack of being "open" but the bathroom, which is open without a door, was accompanied by a massive wolf spider roughly the size of an adult's fist and large frog in the paper towel dispenser where the towels should be. Anyhow, the battleground is very scenic and beautiful, just keep your eyes open on the bathrooms if you use them.
Joe B — Google review
We had been here before with our kids at least a decade earlier. They have a good sized exhibit in the base and part of the admission fee includes a ride to the top of the monument. It is really neat to see the surrounding bay from the top. I am uncomfortable with heights but wasn’t bothered by this here as the observation area is completely enclosed. I don’t know how busy it gets as we went in on a Friday morning. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Matt T — Google review
Ostentatious is what comes to mind. The grounds are well kept, quiet and serene. I haven't been inside the museum yet... but walking around the property and building itself tells the story of how Texas began...how the 18 minute war was won. Its definitely a site to see. I look forward to going back to thr observation deck. This monument is taller than the Washington Memorial. Its difficult to fit the monument into one pic. On my visits, there never seems to be a wait to get inside the museum. 🤷🏽‍♀️#BiggerInTexas....
April C — Google review
I have been coming here since my parents would bring me in a stroller. People still referred to the park as The Battlegrounds. I'm 64 now, enjoyed innumerable picnics and introducing out-of-staters to Texas History. The park has changed over the years, mostly for the better. It's always fun to go to the observation deck. I miss the Texas. She belongs here, not Galveston, but the important thing is that she's preserved.

I took Jacob here and he was very interested in the exhibits and film. I don’t think he completely understood what it was about but he liked it and asked questions. Very educational for all ages and worth taking the time to visit.
Michael M — Google review
A beautiful and well kept piece of Texas History. Beware though, the museum is not open everyday like what Google describes. It is closed Monday and Tuesday. The battlegrounds are open every day though. We went on a Tuesday and google said it was open. We showed up disappointed the park store and museum was closed. Overall, happy to pay this beautiful piece of history a visit. They do a good job keeping it running

Brazos Bend State Park

Nature & Parks
Brazos Bend State Park, located southwest of Houston, offers a diverse outdoor experience with its observatory, lakes for fishing and relaxation, hiking and biking trails, and camping facilities. The park is known for its abundant alligator population and the opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat. Visitors can also enjoy birdwatching during the spring season when various bird species are busy hunting for food. The well-maintained Nature Center provides educational resources and safety tips regarding alligator encounters.
The park has so many trails with various views. Had a great time hiking. There were plenty of benches along the way to take breaks. The park staff was super friendly and always asked if we needed help with anything. We stayed in a covered shelter. It was clean and well maintained. Had a wonderful time, and we hope to go back soon.

This is one of many times I have visited this state park. I can say nothing but good things about it. We booked the shelter for this visit and they turned out to be a great idea especially with this unpredictable weather. Good point to transition if you are willing to camp primitive and for some reason cannot commit. The sowers and restroom were excellent. Hot water shower is a lifesaver. Don’t forget to walk the trails. Children park is decent. Organized parking and enough signs for trails
Kshitij R — Google review
Absolutely beautiful park and a great escape from the city! Brazos Bend State Park is one of the best parks I’ve visited in Texas. The trails are peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature, you can see tons of birds, deer, and even a few alligators from a safe distance. The park is very well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Perfect for hiking, biking, or just relaxing by the water. I loved how easy it was to spot wildlife without feeling unsafe, and the camping areas are clean and quiet with plenty of space. If you go, bring a camera and some bug spray, and visit early in the morning or near sunset for the best experience. Highly recommend for families, nature lovers, or anyone who just wants to disconnect and enjoy a bit of peace in the outdoors.

I absolutely loved it here. It's the first state park I've been to in Texas, and I can't wait to return for more photography opportunities!! The place is incredibly well-maintained--at least the paths I've walked--and I truly admire the respect for the wildlife here. It's a massive park compared to the areas I'm used to in New Jersey, and it's well worth it to spend a day here.

Spent night at campground (Primitive-tents and fire pit but with burn ban, no firepit/have to use griddle). Love all the Spanish Moss on the trees. Hiked around the lake, watched gators as well. Really need to come back more often as it is only an hour away. Love to see leaves changing color. Be aware driving as there are kids, hikers and cyclist on all the roads. Loved it.

Brazos Bend State Park is an absolute gem for family outdoor adventures! My son and I had an unforgettable day filled with fun activities and amazing nature experiences. We kicked off our visit by riding bikes along the park's scenic trails. The paths were well-maintained and offered beautiful views of the landscape, making it a perfect ride for both kids and adults. After our bike ride, we decided to try our luck at fishing. To our delight, we caught 18 perch! It was such a thrill for my son to reel them in, and we enjoyed every moment of it. One of the highlights of our trip was feeding the turtles. It was not only entertaining but also educational, as we learned more about these fascinating creatures. We also brought along a Frisbee and a football, which kept the fun going as we played games on the open grassy areas. Our visit wouldn’t be complete without stopping by the park store, where we bought a sturdy hiking stick and a fun sticker as souvenirs. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience! Another unforgettable moment was getting up close with a couple of baby alligators. It was such a thrilling experience for my son to pet them under supervision, making for some great photos and lasting memories! Overall, Brazos Bend State Park is a fantastic destination for families. It offers a perfect mix of outdoor activities, education, and plenty of fun. We can’t wait to return and explore more of what this beautiful park has to offer! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a day of adventure in nature. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Peaceful place for a hike, lots of choices for distance/routes. We went yesterday and only saw one gator in Elm Lake but we didnt hike the entire loop, just half mile to observation pad then went back same way. Get your state park pass and make reservations online, so easy and makes the entrance process quicker.

Froberg's Farm

Farm
Sights & Landmarks
Time-tested farm providing homemade canned goods & pies, fresh produce, nuts, candy & fruit picking.
We visited Froberg’s Farm for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at all the fresh veggies and fruit they had. OMG we were able to get fresh Purple Hull peas, Lima beans and green beans. And fresh farm brown eggs was a plus! They had a variety of other things including fresh made salsa. Everything we’ve had so far has been delicious! We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing no matter when you go- fall which is hot, spring which is hot or even Christmas which is still hot- you will always have a good time. There are amazing sno cones most of the year because well it’s hot. Priced for fun, family owned which are usually hanging around if you want to chat. Food in the market, the food trucks, the bbq place well honestly if it is gracing the lands of this farm is going to be tasty. The playground, the sand pit, the duck races, the tire mountain, the bouncing bubble, the trikes are included most of the year. Great stuff during festivals like bee coaster, pig races, corn maze, mining, apple blaster and paintball stalls. Always something to do.

Loved the farm setting and the local produce. It was fun for kids too. Candy Canon and bike tracks were a hit for my kids. Pig race was so much fun for all ages. Pumpkin painting was a great engaging activity for the kids. Definitely would go again but a few things i would have loved to see better- the toilets were not clean, not suitable for young children. Being at a farm, i expected fresh lemonades, the were made using some sort of powder dissolved in water.

My boys and I visited Froberg’s Farm in Alvin on a Thursday afternoon, and we had a really nice time! The place is a little on the smaller side, but everything was so nicely decorated for the fall season — pumpkins, hay bales, cute photo setups, and lots of festive touches everywhere. You can tell they put effort into making it feel warm and welcoming. We got there around 5:15 PM, and the park was closing at 6 PM, so we mainly went to take pictures and enjoy the free scenery before they wrapped up for the day. It was peaceful and not crowded at all, which was actually perfect for snapping some fall photos and letting the boys explore a bit. They do have games and activities you can do with tokens, but since we came close to closing time, about half of them were already closed. Honestly, that didn’t bother me since we were mostly there for the atmosphere. The only small thing I’d mention is that I wish they’d cut the grass in the corn maze — it was a little overgrown and made it harder to walk through comfortably. Other than that, everything looked great and was well kept. Overall, it’s a cute little spot to visit with kids, especially during the fall. I can see it being a lot more lively earlier in the day or on weekends when everything’s open. We’ll definitely plan to come back next time a little earlier to try out more of the games and activities! 🍂🎃

I've been coming to Froberg's since I was a kid. Fresh Produce, produce picking and Greaks. Things have definitely changed from the little stand it used to be. I went in today, was kind of sad that no one greeted me or the person that came in after me. I made a loop through the whole store before anyone said a word. I believe it was one of the Froberg's that said hi. Today there was a good amount of produce but remember everything is come and go with the seasons. I got quite a bit of great produce today and was very happy there was some!!! Weekends tend to sell out fast so we try to go early in the week. We went to strawberry pick this spring but found it not worth the cost for us. My kiddo is 13 so it's not fun for him anymore. Most of the time we absolutely love when we go because we pick and choose season and follow their Facebook to see what they have. I just wish employees were as friendly as they used to be.

We had such a wonderful time at Froberg's Farm! There’s so much to do and see — from the Corn House to the Trike Track, Apple Cannon, and even the adorable Bumble Bee Ride, it’s nonstop fun for the whole family. My 3-year-old grandson was in heaven. Perfect day for a snow cone and cotton candy, and watching his face light up on every ride or new activity was priceless. We spent time wandering through the corn maze, picking flowers, and just enjoying the day together. The food was fantastic, too — everything tasted fresh and homemade. You can really tell the folks at Froberg Farm put their hearts into creating a place that families canear afte enjoy yr year - all year long. I was surprised how much it has grown from the days we went strawberry picking in the 1980's If you’re looking for a place that captures the best parts of farm life, outdoor fun, and family memories, Froberg's Farm is it!
Doreen B — Google review
We were here a few weeks ago for their pumpkin patch. We went to take my two-year-old godson, and he had a blast, especially with the free candy cannon. The entrance is $10 plus a $12 token for activities.

Initially, we had a very good time at Froberg’s. Really enjoyed the Fall decorations, the food, the corn maze, etc. We were happy to support and purchased several items at the store on the way out. Unfortunately, the jar of strawberry preserves we picked turned out to be moldy. I reached out via email to ask what could be done, and they near instantly offered to ship a new container. I was happy with that, but they never shipped the replacement, never followed up, and never responded to my attempts to contact them for an update. Very disappointed with this customer service experience.

Space Center Houston is an educational facility that showcases the history of U.S. space travel through various exhibits, tours, and attractions. One of its highlights is the meticulously restored Mission Control, offering a glimpse into how it looked during the 1969 moon landing. Visitors can take a 90-minute tram tour to explore Rocket Park and NASA facilities where space missions are planned and trained for. The center also features a gallery of flown spacecraft and provides insights into space-related questions.
An unforgettable experience at NASA Johnson Space Center! Touching a real moon rock in the Starship Gallery was a surreal moment, connecting me to the Apollo missions’ incredible history. The 2 PM Mission Control Tour was the highlight—standing in the room where Apollo 11 made history and learning about current ISS operations was mind-blowing. The Artemis program and Mission Mars exhibits sparked so much excitement for humanity’s future on the moon and beyond. The Saturn V rocket at Rocket Park is a must-see—its sheer size is awe-inspiring! Despite a tight 4-hour visit (arrived at 12:30), every minute was packed with wonder. Highly recommend for anyone curious about space exploration. Tip: Book the Mission Control Tour early and wear comfy shoes for walking!

Great place for all ages. It has a ton of fun things to do, including off-site fun like rocket park and the astronaut training facility. The tram tours were nice. The mission:sketch was really cool, and the robots were nice too. There were so many fun things to do and see. The space simulators were really cool, fun, and educational. The cafeteria food was not as bad as I expected, and it was preety good. The skittles machine is super cool, I recommend it.
Eva B — Google review
An absolute must-visit if you are in Houston! It’s incredible to see real history up close. Here is what you need to know to make the most of it: The Highlights: The Tram Tour: This is the best part. It takes you to the actual Johnson Space Center campus. Seeing the massive Saturn V rocket in person and the Historic Mission Control is a surreal experience. Tip: Download the app and reserve your spot for the tram immediately when you enter (or beforehand if possible). They fill up fast! Independence Plaza: Walking inside the shuttle replica sitting on top of the 747 carrier aircraft is unique—you can’t do this anywhere else. Starship Gallery: Great collection of artifacts, including actual flown capsules and a moon rock you can touch. Things to Know: Crowds: It gets very busy, especially on weekends and holidays. Arrive right when they open (usually 10 AM) to beat the rush. Cost: Tickets and food are on the pricey side. I recommend eating a big breakfast beforehand or bringing a water bottle if allowed (check current policy). Weather: The tram ride is open-air. If it’s hot or raining, dress accordingly! Overall, an inspiring experience for both kids and adults. You need about 4-5 hours to see everything comfortably.

Came here for the Galaxy Lights Experience. The lights are beautiful but seems pretty small for what it is. Would be great if there were more lights. There are parts of the exhibits that are open during the event including going through the 747 and the shuttle. Was a good time but probably not something f we would go out of our way to do.

Always an amazing place and always has something new to see. This is a must see if you're in the Houston area. Go on all the free tours and if you have time go on to paid tours as well. Everyone that works there are very helpful. Go ahead and get the picture package cuz it is so worth it compared to other places that you go. Of course the gift shop can be very expensive but you can find a couple of little cheap items like magnets and keychains that you would like.

Wonderful Octoberfest with kids and families showing up around 2. It was much less crowded around 12. The $28 dollar wrist band is great if you are just riding. Not all of our party rode rides, so it is very nice not having to buy a full ticket price. Offers a lot of games, etc. love being able to sit next to the canal and watching the boats drive by before they enter the bay. There are lots of seats, but do wish they had more in the shade. Several great restaurants with a few snack food trucks on the boardwalk.

This amusement park is beautifully designed and located right by the sea, which gives it a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The whole park has a strong Spanish character, which adds to its charm and authenticity. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, offering a variety of food options — and many with great views. The rides and attractions are a lot of fun, well-maintained, and offer something for all ages. Whether you’re into adrenaline-pumping roller coasters or more relaxed experiences, there’s something here for everyone. Prices are relatively affordable, especially considering the quality and variety the park offers. All in all, a fantastic day out — fun, scenic, and very Spanish in the best way!

Our 1st time here, personally I was quite excited. The weather afforded us cool breezes, we arrived 11:45ish for scheduled noon opening and after walking around, having lunch the rides were just opening. When we left at 1:30 there was only one shop open. Totally disappointed! Don't know if this happens on a regular basis but I don't think we'll be driving an hour for this.

Kemah Boardwalk is a perfect family-friendly destination packed with fun and entertainment for all ages! From live music to exciting acrobatic shows, there’s always something happening. Enjoy one of the best dining experiences by the beach, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Kids will love the carnival rides, splash pad during the summer, and the charming train that circles the boardwalk and even passes through some restaurants. Parking is paid, and weekends tend to get busy—so plan ahead!

The kids and I had a blast they enjoyed the rides. We got the all day pass which is a good price if you go on a decent amount of rides. The food is overpriced but that is to be expected. I do recommend the souvenir cup which is $10 since the refills are $1 vs buying 1 drink that ranges between $4 - $8 especially if you plan to stay a while. We paid $12 for parking for the open lot right next to the boardwalk that is card only but you have to scan a QR code to pay but there is also a car garage for parking also that is right next to the boardwalk.

Crocodile Encounter

Nature & Parks
Park with crocodiles, turtles, monkeys & more, featuring up-close feeding tours & other events.
We purchased tickets and animal food online but you don't have to. The parking lot is small. I would suggest to pay a little extra and take the guided tour at least once so that you get the lay of the park. The Crocs are well taken care of as well as the other animals. My 5 and 7 year old grandchildren enjoyed it. The guided tour is about an hour - give or take. Will definitely visit again. No food is served to humans here but they do have drinks and a few snacks in the gift store.

I’ve visited Crocodile Encounter twice—once in the summer and once in the fall—and both times were fantastic! Each tour lasts a little over an hour and is packed with excitement and education. You get the chance to feed several crocodiles by tossing food over the fence, which was such a cool experience. The tour guides are knowledgeable and make sure everyone feels safe the entire time. I highly recommend doing the guided tour instead of the self-guided one. The insight they provide and watching the guides feed the crocodiles up close makes a big difference. You also have the opportunity to enter the box turtle area to feed and touch box turtles as big as a 4 year old. The location is clean, safe, and the animals are kept in natural habitats. Overall, it’s a fun, family-friendly experience I’d definitely recommend!

We bought tickets online for a Monday, prob best way to get them. We have no kids & this was cool for adults. We practically had the place to ourselves. Maybe about 6 other people there. Definitely buy the food to give to the gators. They’re like pets…they swim towards you for food, but watch out the big guys like to take over. I was actually splashed..they get feisty for their food. The goats are cute especially the babies, they jump up and greet you on the boardwalk area. You can pet them. The crocs are pretty cool to see but the gators seem more active (at least when we were watching). The turtles are great, they too can fight over food. Overall, very cool experience. You can see the whole place in about 1.5 hours self guided. Parking was right out front. Can be muddy.

The entrance as you can see can be deceiving. I arrived before lunch and there were very few people. For a minute i was worries i would be disappointed. I was wrong! This place is amazing. Its very raw and right at your face. I did a self tour and saw many guided tours by lunch time. I did listen in and would highly recommend. Guides are young, energetic and they feed the animals. Spent 2.5 hours walking area the sanctuary. The deer area was interesting as there are a good mixed of species cohabiting the area. Very seldom see this unless you are in the wild. Highly recommend for a weekend family outing!

We went with my husband, it was the best experience of my life, apart from the fact that I love crocodiles, we enjoyed it very much, everything very clean, and careful. All crocodiles in good condition and well fed. It was amazing to see how they were fed. And the best thing was to take a picture with the baby crocodile. I was waiting for the whole tour, that moment in the photo. It was amazing, I recommend you, take your family to this beautiful place. I give it a 100/100.

We have been taking our 3rd Grade students on a field trip to Crocodile Encounter for the past decade. It's always a great time. This is such a unique experience for the kids, and they always love the WOW factors that come with the tour. Just be advised that it is an all outdoors experience, so you will need plenty of water and protection from the sun when you visit during warm weather months. The guided tours for field trips do take a couple of hours or a bit more in order to get the full experience. Not entirely sure what the rules are for food/ snacks during the tour, but the kids might need a snack break in between the sessions. Overall, the staff provides a fun and educational experience for the kids, and we hope to be able to continue to visit the park for years to come.

What an AWESOME experience, staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Lots of areas to explore in addition to what's in the tour, lots of cool flora and fauna, variety of critters and just an all out fun day. We packed a picnic and enjoyed a late morning tour then walked the grounds on our own after lunch to see and explore more.

My son loved this place. We got to get so close to all of the animals. It was really neat to have the opportunity to feed them and to see the giant alligators get fed. I would recommend going early in the morning, so it is not too hot but truly a great experience.

Located near Galveston Island, Haak Vineyards & Winery, Inc. is a top-quality winery that offers a picturesque setting for special occasions. Renowned for its world-class dessert wines and sourcing the best fruit for table wines from the Texas High Plains, it's a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts. Visitors praise the outstanding wines and exceptional service provided by the friendly staff.
We got married at Haak and had the absolute best experience! The venue is stunning and we fell in love with the vineyard vibes from the beginning. Kristen and the entire team were so helpful, organized, and truly cared about making our day perfect. Everything ran smoothly and we felt so supported throughout the planning process and on the big day. One of our favorite moments was watching the sun set over the vineyard. It created the most magical golden hour glow and made for some of our favorite photos. Our guests still talk about how beautiful and fun it was. We’re so grateful we chose Haak for our wedding. It was truly unforgettable.

My husband and I traveled from Baton Rouge to Haak Winery in Santa Fe, TX for our 2 year anniversary and we absolutely loved it! We rented The Villa, Rachel Johnston was very responsive and helpful via email when it came to booking the property and the wine tasting/tour. The tour was a blast, we loved our guide, Robin. She was funny, energetic and knowledgable! I would have loved to actually walk out in the vineyard but the morning thunderstorm prevented it. Despite that we still had the best time on the tour. The wine was absolutely divine! It was truly a perfect way to spend our anniversary. The Villa was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Our ONLY complaint was the floors could have been swept a little better, there was hair and dirt on the floors so walking around barefoot wasn’t ideal. Thank you, Haak winery for a wonderful weekend! We will definitely come again!

Nice area beautiful venue and great selection of wines. Do they make their own wine and the back section of the property is a vineyard. There bar also serves ciders brewed locally. They have activities for kids goats and the bounce house. We were able to enjoy the afternoon. Outside in the covered area with the wind blowing gently. I forgot a little too warm we went inside and cool down they have big tables for indoor seating as well. Great places in the afternoon or book for an event. They do offer food it seems to be from a third party

Our wedding at Haak Winery was absolutely incredible, and Kristen Wollenberg was such a fantastic facilitator! From the very start, Kristen made everything smooth, easy, and stress-free. Pam was exceptional and truly amazing in helping everything flow perfectly on our special day. A couple of things to keep in mind: the venue comfortably fits about 125 guests rather than the 150 it sometimes mentions, especially if you plan to have a live band. While this wasn't an issue for us personally, it's just something future couples might want to keep in mind for planning purposes. Additionally, since this is Houston and the weather can be unpredictable, we strongly recommend asking about tent options in case of rain, including understanding the costs involved, any additional steps needed such as rearranging the seating or adjusting the timeline, and possibly having this detailed within your contract for an outdoor wedding. We also found having our dedicated Wedding Coordinator / Team incredibly beneficial for our wedding, especially since it was a larger wedding. It's also a great idea to meet Pam or whoever your main contact will be well before the wedding day and maintain communication with them from the beginning. This early communication will help you feel prepared and in control of your special day. One final note: we weren't impressed with the tablecloths provided by the venue due to their quality and color options, so we suggest bringing your own if possible. Overall, our experience was nothing short of incredible. The food was fantastic, and the cake was amazing! We highly recommend Haak Winery to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team. Thank you again, Kristen and Pam, for making our day so special! We can't wait for you to experience the magic of Haak Winery on your own special day.

Not only did we get to do a tremendous tour here, but we camped on their property for a few days while visiting Houston. Beautiful grounds, delicious wine, and peaceful. Tour was very informative.

I cannot rave enough about celebrating our wedding at Haak Winery! To start, the venue coordinator, Kristen was attentive, helpful, and handled every detail with care. The staff was all very friendly and professional! The wedding package value beat out every other venue we toured. The airbnbs attached to the venue were perfect for our out of town family and friends. We wish we could have our special day all over again at Haak!

Awesome venue in Texas, been here a few times and last time was during a bingo event. Very well managed event. I've always been impressed with the wines here until today when I purchased a bottle of Garnet. This must be the worst wine I've had in my life, especially at $38. Absolutely unacceptable. Aired out the wine a few minutes and first hit on the nose was a punch of vinegar to the nose. Got over that, but the notes on this one were absolutely horrendous. A $3 bottle from Aldi is better than this. I'm surprised Haak would put this out for consumption. Talked to the wait staff whom I purchased the wine from to determine if there was something they could do about it like offer credit towards another bottle and the wait staff at the bar was very rude and simply said, sorry you already opened it. I guess we won't be back for some time or ever. I'm very saddened by this experience.

Robin was absolutely incredible! Friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour so much fun. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares about making sure everyone has a great time. She shared the history of the winery with so much personality and answered every question with a smile. The wines were delicious, but Robin truly made the experience memorable. If you visit Haak Winery, make sure to ask for her. She’s the best!
