Incredible experience. I purchased a gift certificate for my husband and brother in law for Christmas. They operated both the excavator and bulldozer. The experience was seamless from booking to scheduling to day of. The operators had tons of fun and had sufficient time to get the hang of each piece of equipment. The instructor Dave was knowledgeable and very well versed in his guidance. As spectators, we were very comfortable. There are covered picnic tables at each equipment stop - each well positions for close up views of the action. The spot is an easy drive from Dallas. All around highly recommend!

Extreme Sandbox is a place you can do extreme things with large construction vehicles. Ever wondered what it feels like to drive heavy machinery? Well wonder no further with Extreme Sandbox! I went with my best friend and he had a great time there. There are several vehicles that one can use to push things or even destroy them. Their is the option of the Wheeler Loader, Excavator, and Bulldozer. The staff was very professional and nice. A headset is given to the operator of the vehicle and the guide helps them through the process. The operator guide, directs the operators so there is no chance of an accident happening as long as you listen to the operators. There is also air conditioning in the construction vehicles as well. One of the great things about them is they have package deals as well. And one could potentially go with a group as well. Another cool aspect about the Extreme Sandbox package deals is that you even have the opportunity of destroying a vehicle if you would like to do that. Family and friends are also allowed to view the vehicles outside if they want to watch you operate a large vehicle. It's not an everyday thing where you can just drive a bulldozer or excavator. So if you ever dreamed of doing something like that, I would highly recommend Extreme Sandbox!

Got a package for my husband for our anniversary. He had an amazing time, and can't wait to go back. His instructor was Zac, and he was so talented. He spent all day there and said he was never bored. There was stuff to do that was equally challenging and fun. Highly suggest going. There are also places for families to sit and observe. Our 10 month old son had lots of fun watching!

This was so much fun!! My wife got me a gift certificate for my birthday and, because I didn’t want to have all the fun, we upgraded—dueling excavators! Really great fun. Only kinda wish we’d done two pieces of equipment. The excavator is awesome, but now I want to try the bulldozer. I’m thinking we’ll be back.
A.J. T — Google review
We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday yesterday! They did a good job with the mini-training session and allowing the guests to have some freedom to really explore the equipment and enjoy themselves! This smile says it all!
Dee B — Google review
This was an terrific experience. The instructors were super helpful and quickly got us up to speed. We ran the excavator and the loader. It was not as hard as expected but took a while to get the hang of it. Good spots for spectators and I enjoyed watching the kids almost as much as driving the machines.

BIG BIRTHDAY SURPRISE! This year for my Birthday Jessica told me she had a big surprise for me, but wouldn’t tell me what it was! I literally had no idea what it was going to be but when we got there it was EXTREME SANDBOX!!! This is business that lets you PLAY with genuine Komatsu construction equipment!!! I’ve always been wanted to do this since I saw a similar concept in Las Vegas, Jessica took a mental note and had been planning the surprise! She bought me the “Excavator Package” which is 60 minutes in a Komatsu PC-290! This thing was so powerful and fun to play with! It cut through the dirt like BUTTER and made it seem nearly effortless to dig a huge hole. Controlling the excavator is a lot like a 30 ton RC car, or makes a lot of sense once you get going. The precision on the bucket was so good I was able to knock tennis balls off of cones, play basketball with the teeth, and even PICK UP A CADILLAC! I also got to drive the machine around obstacles, up and down hills etc. It’s like a tank! The weather was VERY cold hit luckily for me the inside of the cab was climate controlled, and I was even wearing a headset where the instructor could help tell me what to do. They even gave Jessica a headset too so she could listen in on the fun! This was a AWESOME gift idea and I would absolutely recommended it to anyone who was ever curious what operating heavy equipment was like. If you’ve ever fantasized about “goofing off” in a massive piece of machinery then this is the first experience for you! I’ll never forget my 38th Birthday!!! Awesome! Thank you Jessica! 🎉

Extreme Sandbox is an awesome experience!! My friend and I went and shared the Ultimate Sandbox package, and we already want to go back. Dave was awesome to work with. We were on the excavators and bulldozers. We had multiple head to head competitions, for technical skill and speed. You have a headset which is connected to your friend's headset as well as the employees, this made communication easy and fun while working the equipment. The time flew by so fast. I highly recommend Extreme Sandbox, it is worth the money!

Ray Roberts Lake State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Wooded equestrian & hiking trails around a lake, plus a rustic lodge with an eatery & a marina.
Ray Roberts Lake State Park is a must-visit! 🌊🌳 It feels just like a small beach — soft sand, clear water, and peaceful surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing day out, picnic, or just soaking up some sun. A hidden gem for nature and lake lovers! 🏖️☀️
Naina — Google review
Great place for camping! The park is peaceful and well kept, and I loved being able to see both the sunrise and sunset over the lake. Lots of wildlife too – we saw deer walking near the campsites. A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature.

The Best of North Texas Camping - Spacious Sites, Great Trails, and Lake Access! Ray Roberts Lake State Park (Isle du Bois unit) is an absolute gem and our favorite spot for a weekend getaway near DFW. It perfectly balances a beautiful natural setting with fantastic amenities. What We Loved: Spacious Campsites: We stayed in the [Deer Ridge/Quail Run/Juniper Cove - pick one if you know!] area, and the sites were large, grassy, and offered a great sense of privacy. The trees provide excellent shade, and the setup with water/electric hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring was perfect. The Multi-Use Trails: The paved trails are immaculate and ideal for biking, jogging, or a long walk. We especially loved exploring the scenic routes that lead right down to the water. The access to the larger Greenbelt Corridor is a huge bonus for long-distance enthusiasts! Clean Facilities: The restroom and shower facilities were some of the cleanest we’ve encountered at a state park. Hot showers are a welcome luxury after a day of hiking. Lake Access: Whether you're fishing off the pier, launching a kayak, or just relaxing at the designated swim beach, the lake is beautiful and easy to get to from the main campgrounds. Tips for Your Visit: Book Early: This park is extremely popular, especially the lakeside spots, so reserve your site well in advance. Watch for Deer: We saw several deer grazing right through the campsite area in the early morning and evening—a treat for nature lovers!
Esteban F — Google review
This very large state park has something for everyone. There are trails to hike, bike, walk your dog or ride your horse. Plenty of camping slots, whether for tent, car, or RV camping. Only surprise is that there are no full hookups for RVs (or we never saw any). They have water and power, but no sewer/black or gray water drainage at the individual sites. To dump waste, they do have a waste station, though, so you can use it upon arrival or departure. And so many trees, so many paved trails! Lots of deer (do not feed the wildlife, though). The lake has catfish, crappie, and bass fishing with a fish cleaning station for convenience. Very nice, smooth launch area for your boats. Plenty of parking in lots of areas. Swim beach without lifeguard. Free life jacket loaners. Playground. Picnic areas, sandy volley ball pit, pier to walk or fish from. So much in this huge park. We love it here!
Ice Q — Google review
I went here for one day camping and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was in the Quail Run area and had easy access to the water. The water wasn't very deep where I was, unless you went out about 50 years from the shore, then it got to about chest high on a 6 foot person. While I personally didn't visit the pier or dedicated swimming areas, they are here to enjoy. Alcohol is strictly prohibited and the 10 PM curfew is enforced, as well. It is a beautiful lake, quiet and peaceful. God bless Texas!
Fryd — Google review
The park is well maintained and easy to get around. Trails are peaceful with plenty of shade, and the views are worth the visit. Great spot for picnics, or just a quiet day outdoors. Definitely a relaxing escape from the city.
Likitha S — Google review
My wife and our dogs went camping at the Ile du bois unit, park has a great walking and bike trails, and the campsites were well arranged, if a little small and crowded. Close to dallas, with almost complete cell coverage, but pretty quiet and beautiful.
Phillip V — Google review
We loved this place. Entrance fee is a little too high for the services. Restrooms are not well kept but regardless you can still have a good experience ranging from swimming in the water and going on a hike and spotting the deers. I would highly recommend this place. Picnic areas are also available and accesible.

Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard

My husband and I visited for our first time in July 2025 and absolutely loved it. We both enjoyed a dry red flight, mixed nuts, hummus plate, and Mediterranean flatbread as we sat on the terrace, listened to live music, and soaked in the beautiful countryside scenery. The winery is truly a serene oasis, tucked away from the hustle and bustle that is typical in north TX. Even more impressive than the ambiance is their wine! We were astonished that every wine we tried we loved. In all the wineries we have been to, this is the first place to offer exquisite wines in every avenue. We loved it so much that we became wine club members! And we have since gone back to celebrate their 14th birthday. Thank you Blue Ostrich for becoming our new obsession. We look forward to every wine we get to try from you.
Lisa D — Google review
Very nice atmosphere and beautiful views. Interesting story and the ostriches were a cool feature. Music was really nice...a bit loud for conversation, but definitely added to the ambiance. I would have given 5 stars if we didn't have to leave due to the uncomfortable temperature!! It was so uncomfortable hot and we were pouring down sweat...at 96°F, the glass doors should have been closed and the air on. We decided to go someplace else (and so did others, because they arrived same place as us shortly after!). We will be back when the temperatures are a little cooler. Food was good, wines were good, service was good.
Gina B — Google review
I came here with my wife to celebrate our anniversary in early January, on a Thursday afternoon. It was not very crowded at all, only three groups were present during our visit. Once you arrive, you will notice a little cage to the left where they keep one of their ostriches. It was my first time seeing an ostrich and it was pretty cool that they allowed us to see it. The place has an old farmhouse look, which makes it very unique. Our waiter was very kind and informative. She was very attentive to us and kept refilling our water and making sure we were comfortable. I would say that this place is perfect for a little date on a sunny Saturday, as long as it is not too busy. I really liked the way this place looks inside and out. After the waiter explained the wine choices to us, we went with the Black Ostrich flight. I thoroughly enjoyed those wines, they were all on the sweet side. My favorite was Poppy's Garden. It had a strawberry scent and, of course, a hint of it when you drink it. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys drinking sweet wines. We also tried the Herb butter and cheese pull-apart bread and the ultimate holiday meatballs. I must say that the pull-apart bread stole the show. The meatballs tasted great with the fig, but that pull-apart bread is something else. It looks like a regular piece of bread, but you would not believe how flavorful it is! It had a fair amount of cheese and was very savory, enough to make you want more. You need to try this when you come! Overall, I was impressed with this business. If you were hesitant about visiting, I recommend that you go for it. You won't regret it!

A Hidden Gem for Wine Lovers! Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful scenery and welcoming atmosphere. The vineyard offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy great wine. We had the pleasure of tasting almost all their wines, and every single one was excellent. Each had its own unique character, with rich flavors and perfect balance. Whether you prefer reds, whites, or rosé, there’s something for everyone. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations and making the experience even better. The food was also fantastic! We tried the mediterranean flatbread, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and paired perfectly with the wines. It’s the perfect spot for a casual outing or a special celebration. One of the things we loved most was the relaxing ambiance. Whether you sit inside or on the patio overlooking the vineyard, you’ll feel right at home. We can’t wait to return and try more wines! If you’re looking for a charming winery with amazing wine, food, and hospitality, Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard is the place to go.

Really nice place. Staff is friendly. Loved seeing the ostrich. He did a mating dance for us. Definitely do the wine tasting.
Debra K — Google review
This winery has been on my north Texas winery bucket list for awhile and I'm happy to report that it did not disappoint. The grounds are lovely. The ostrich we saw was a fun highlight. The wine that we tried (they have a fairly extensive list) was very solid. Both red and white. This place should definitely be on your North Texas winery Bingo list, if you're in the area, exploring.
Kaitlin B — Google review
A place where the greenness of nature, delicious food, and deep wine blend nicely. Especially the acoustic guitar played during the meal is so atmospheric!
Dangle 0 — Google review
Visited this wonderful winery last week and loved it! The professionalism upon arrival to ordering great bites was more than expected at a winery. Julie was very kind and Jennifer was always there with our next tasting without a wait. I was with a small group and we really had a very good time at this facility. I was also able to see the ostrich at the fence. Thank you Blue Ostrich for a really great winery and staff! I encourage everyone to go see this wonderful facility.

New machines are nice. Pay varied by time and area, but they weren't super tight. Beverage stations stay fairly clean, but there aren't nearly enough. Same with bathrooms. Only saw one cocktail waitress while we were there and the wait time at bars could use some improvement. Players club rewards have dropped significantly. With Choctaw and Megastar just as close for us, Winstar will unfortunately become an occasional visit spot. Staff and food at Chips and Ale are still the best to be found, though!

The deco is awesome.. Took us two days to" win & lose "our way thru the Casinos... It's huge 😍 Had a great time .. Kiddos to the staff ..
Cecilia V — Google review
Fantastic night and could not of enjoyed myself more great place to see bands we had a great night all seats are great to see the stage so it does not matter where you sit the bars were quick so not waiting too long for service highly recommend seeing acts here and great for din er before hand too.
Martin J — Google review
This casino is so huge and vast with many entrances. You will see live music at few bars which gives a good enthusiasm to the surroundings. I found the single bottled beer prices were a bit high. Also, the Black Jack is more popular game here. 💵♣️♠️♦️♥️🃏 Easy way to redeem cash from the lottery game tickets at the kiosks.
Pavan — Google review
I will NEVER come back! Paid a lot of money for Kevin Hart tickets only to find out that when you get there they lock your phone in a bag where you can't check it or use it. This is dangerous! People have emergencies and may need to check their phone. This is an overreach! Other theaters do not do this. Because of this I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Horrible experience.
Lisa00 — Google review
Great venue for a comedy show. Very friendly staff both on the floor and at the bar. My only complaint, and it’s not a huge one, is the seats. Not super comfortable.
Ian R — Google review
It was a very nice venue however, I only gave it 🌟 🌟 🌟 because the seats were so close together you literally had no elbow room. We had pretty decent seats too but nowhere near the front. They have "big screen" TVs for those of us who can't afford the primo tickets but you really couldn't appreciate what was happening on stage because those supposedly "big screens" were poor quality and actually NOT big enough for the rest of the audience to truly enjoy (our favorite comedian, Ron White). Thank goodness the audio was on target.

WinStar World Casino

Casino
Casinos & Gambling
WinStar World Casino and Resort is a massive casino complex that offers a modern and spacious environment for gaming enthusiasts. The resort features an array of dining options, shops, a golf course, and an outdoor pool. Visitors can expect a seamless flow throughout the facility with numerous restaurant choices strategically placed around the resort. The casino boasts a wide selection of games including traditional table games like poker and blackjack as well as the latest slot machines with exciting bonus features.
My recent visit to WinStar World Casino was nothing short of amazing. As one of the largest casinos in the world, it immediately impresses you with its size and variety. The gaming floor is massive, filled with endless slot machines, exciting table games, and themed areas that make exploring the casino a fun experience in itself. Whether you’re new to gaming or an experienced player, there’s something here for everyone. What stood out to me most was the atmosphere and service. The casino had a lively yet welcoming vibe, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. Everything was clean and well-organized despite the huge crowd, which really showed how well the place is managed. Another highlight was the dining and entertainment options. From casual restaurants to fine dining, there were plenty of food choices, and the bars and lounges added to the vibrant atmosphere. The entertainment shows were a perfect addition, making the trip feel more like a complete getaway than just a casino visit. With its comfortable hotel rooms and relaxing amenities, WinStar offers both excitement and comfort. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience, and I highly recommend it.
Satvik G — Google review
My wife and I love to go to this casino. We stay at the hotel and stay at least 2 nights. I've seen reviews about people saying, "the water is too soft", but this is one of the reason's we love to stay here. The softness of the water is next level amazing. To say it's too soft is to say, "I prefer my showers to have dirt mixed with the water". The food is good, the service is good and they have non-smoking areas!!!
Todd V — Google review
Nice and large casino. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Had an issue with one roulette machine. It was charging $5 per bet when you selected $1. I cashed out and try to redeem my ticket but the machine wouldn’t take it. Had to go to a cashier and wait on a manager to redeem my ticket. Kind of a pain. Later found another roulette machine that was broken as well. Saw several slot machines throughout that were out of order. So be aware of that and watch your bets. The Bingo hall was fun, but most of the machines were pretty tight. Not surprisingly as it is a casino after all. Overall had a good time. Drinks weren’t terribly expensive and all the restaurants we ate at were good.
C H — Google review
Great place! Rooms are always clean and comfy. Staff are nice and helpful. Food is good. The only thing is sometimes at the buffet the food isn't kept hot. Mine was at the Asian side and it was warm so I didn't eat it because I know about temp control on holding foods. Over all it was a good place to eat. Player rewards are always good!
Nikki R — Google review
Win or lose.. Either way we always have a great time when we visit here! They always offer great rewards toward complimentary hotel stay and bonus plays for card members. Staff do a great job keeping games sanitized and clean. Security is always on point makeing the experience safe and enjoyable. We love comeing here for a short "get away from it all' trip. Thank you to start for your hard work. Your efforts make Windstar my go to place for fun enjoyable entertainment and a top notch hotel stay 👍💕🍻💰😉
Jennifer S — Google review
WInstar used to be my happy place for almost a decade. Not anymore. Every visit this year has been more disappointing than the last. Slots are set to not pay out anymore. Comps are terrible and time sensitive. Food options are limited and most of them an insult if you are used to good food. It is just a huge hall filled with too many machines. There is just no vibe and people look miserable, including staff. W and Casino Hotel towers have constant water issues , so you don't know if you will be taking a cold shower again. Outlets and lights are often not working. Winstar, you have to do better if you want to keep your loyal regulars. Maybe you just don't care anymore because greed has taken over.
Jill A — Google review
This is the most unique casino I have ever seen. I did not know you could walk so far in a casino and not even be half-way through it. Despite being jam-packed, there were always places to sit down and play. It did however, very rapidly eat my whole entertainment budget I set up for gambling with 0 bonuses, 0 excitement - but, that is really just the luck of the draw with gambling. You should only go with the intent for entertainment, never to win. While it may not have been gambling-entertainment, the facility itself was a wild experience to visit.
Philip S — Google review
I recently spent a weekend at Winstar Casino, and while I have to commend the hotel for its good service, my experience at the casino itself was quite disappointing. Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which set a positive tone for our stay. However, once we stepped into the casino, that warm experience quickly faded. While my friends and I were enjoying ourselves at the slots and tables, we encountered an unsettling atmosphere. The staff seemed to wear constant fake smiles, but it was clear that genuine hospitality was lacking. On one occasion, we were having a good time cheering for our wins and tipping the dealers, only to be approached and told to tone it down. It was disheartening to be told we could no longer drink, as we were simply trying to celebrate our fun moments. After being temporarily kicked out for being "too loud," we were grateful to be allowed back in the next day. Unfortunately, the negative experience continued. We felt as if we were under constant scrutiny, with several staff members giving us disapproving looks. One waitress even made a comment about our previous visit, implying that we were troublemakers. This left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable, especially since we had acted respectfully and left the casino when asked. Overall, my experience at Winstar Casino was marred by unkind staff attitudes that overshadowed the fun we were trying to have. Despite the good service at the hotel, the negative interactions in the casino made this one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a casino. I believe the atmosphere would greatly improve if the staff adopted a more positive attitude towards guests just looking to have a good time.

My family and I recently visited from Texas and had a great time! The ladies running the nature center were seriously so AMAZING!! They were incredibly kind, informative and fun!! We participated in a scavenger hunt around the center and the tower. We were able to see and hold a snake and the giant salamander also! My kids absolutely loved it and it’s something we will definitely remember for a lifetime. The classroom had so many awesome things to look at and learn about. We will for sure be back!

Excellent facility with all kinds of photos, taxidermy, displays of natural science and surrounding area artifacts. Beautifully constructed architecture married with amazing rock formations and water.
Ramona J — Google review
Be prepared for a little bit of a walk but it's a beautiful, well maintained walk full of native flowers and fun objects placed in the trees & gardens. Tucker Tower was built to be a governor's getaway but never was used that way. It was a nature center for a while but now it's basically a Lake Murray history museum because a new nature center was built, which you'll see when you start your hike to the tower. The mastodon skull is fascinating! The spiral staircase has been replaced with a more traditional staircase, so the tower is more easily accessible. Take your camera!

Tucker tower is an awesome stop while at Lake Murray State Park. Beautiful views and the sweet young lady working inside was AMAZING! She was so informative and so nice to our family. She showed us their snakes and made the experience ever better. The tower has lots of steps but it’s an easy hike. Tucker tower is 💯 worth it.

A must experience! If you have not gotten to walk up into the tower and overlook the lake, you are missing out. The exhibits were also a neat addition to look over and learn about nature and the building of the tower.

While there is an entrance fee, the park uses it to maintain and enhance its facilities. Families can enjoy nature hikes and cooling off in the swimming area during summer months.
Great stay! We were in Bunkhouse 4, which included a private bathhouse just behind us. The bunkhouse and bathrooms were clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. We locked ourselves out at one point and staff was very quick to respond. There was an endless amount of spots to swim and set up picnic. It was pretty crowded during the day, which is pretty normal for a weekend visit, but very quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Would definitely recommend for a family outing. Don’t forget your water shoes! (But if you do, there’s a gift shop with overpriced ones).

I'd give Turner Falls in Oklahoma 3 stars. While it's a beautiful spot with a stunning 77-foot waterfall, I felt it was overpriced, especially considering the crowds and maintenance issues. The park's natural beauty is undeniable, with crystal-clear water, lush greenery, and unique rock formations . However, the sheer number of visitors makes it feel more like a theme park than a serene natural oasis. I visited during peak season, and the crowds were overwhelming. In terms of maintenance, I noticed that some areas of the park could use some TLC. The castle, Collings Castle. That being said, there are some redeeming qualities. The park offers various outdoor activities, such as hiking, swimming, and fishing, which are perfect for families and adventure-seekers. The scenic hiking trails, including the Fire Break Trail, Honey Creek Trail, and Two Mile Trail, provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. If you're planning to visit, consider going during the off-season or weekdays to avoid the crowds. Be prepared for the prices, which is about $20 per person, plus extra fees and taxes.. depending on the time of year and your age. Overall, while Turner Falls has its flaws, it's still a unique and beautiful destination worth visiting – just be aware of what to expect.

My family rented a bunkhouse and it was nice the beds are a little harder than expected but it was new mattress and was not worn in yet. The bath house was nice and the privacy was amazing. A little more clean up on the trails is needed due to disrespectful people not following the rules of no glass bottles. But I completely understand they are off season and limited staff. We did see three amazing young adults doing there best to keep the park clean. All the staff was completely amazing and the young lady in the trading room was very sweet and helpful

Stayed 1 night in a new covered wagon. Approx $235 after taxes, fees and $6 half price entry. Online booking does not extend senior discount. Looking forward to peace and quiet in nature with some hiking. Unfortunately, there were a group of off road 4 wheel vehicles that drove around till 1am despite park rules for quiet hours after 10p. Next day, went exploring. “Hiking trails” not clearly marked. Also ran into several off road vehicles exiting 2 mile trail while parking to hike. Decided against for safety reasons. Disappointed only park staff accessible was at the entry gate. Accommodations and facilities were nice. Old trash visible on some overlooks and Creekside areas.

We stayed for 2 nights in our travel trailer October 7-9. Very few people at the park. It was very clean! The RV area with hookups was in excellent shape and easy to get into/out of. It is first come first serve and they do not assign RV spots. If you want to go and have the place to yourself-go on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in October! Beautiful area!

Turner Falls is one of Oklahoma’s greatest natural treasures — a place of incredible history, unique geology, and breathtaking beauty in the Arbuckle Mountains. But right now, it’s being torn apart. The park’s management continues to neglect what truly matters — the roads, the historic stone buildings, the bathrooms, and the wildlife — while pouring money into unsafe, cheaply made “new attractions.” The tepees they keep promoting have been put up and taken down repeatedly by untrained teenage lifeguards instead of qualified builders, leaving guests with unsafe, unstable rentals without proper rain guards or structural support that often need refunds. It’s not only irresponsible — it’s dangerous. It’s also deeply culturally insensitive to local Indigenous tribes, and yet the park profits off these inaccurate, disrespectful displays while ignoring the real history of this land. Meanwhile, admission, parking, and camping fees keep climbing, but almost none of that money goes back into maintaining or preserving the park itself. The city continues to let this place decay while treating it like a cash grab, not the natural landmark it is. Turner Falls deserves protection and respect. It’s part of Oklahoma’s identity and one of our state’s most remarkable pieces of natural beauty — something all Oklahomans should be fighting to preserve, not watching get stripped away piece by piece. If you love this park or this state, speak up. Ask where the money is going. Demand better. Turner Falls should be cared for, not sold out. This is our home!

Do not come here if you're looking for a pleasant primitive camping and/or hiking experience!! The campsites and most of the facilities are very poorly maintained, most campsites have trash in the firepits and are lacking amenities such as tables and grills. The very few trails there are not worth the cost of admission to the park. Overall absurdly overpriced. Also, several of the people already at the park when we arrived were playing loud music from their vehicles with no regard to those around them. We decided not to stay the night (even though we paid $180 for everything) and instead drove an extra two hours to Wichita Mountains Wildlife Preserve, which was absolutely worthwhile.

I would agree with the mixed reviews...$15 to visit (solo) on a Sunday morning in October. Basically you can park to view the waterfall and the castles. Worth $15, no. I definitely would not visit to view waterfall if during swimming months unless that is what you are doing. Not a serene nature spot. Unsightly blue trash cans everywhere. Parking lot maitenence not the greatest. Visit the free, but distant, overlook off the highway for the best view.

Sights & Landmarks
Arbuckle Wilderness Park is a sprawling 400-acre wildlife habitat where visitors can embark on self-drive car tours through the safari park. The park is home to over 200 free-roaming animals, including ostriches, zebras, giraffes, llamas, and donkeys. Visitors have the opportunity to feed these exotic animals from their car windows using feed buckets available for purchase at the entrance.
We went today and had the best time! It was our first time and we enjoyed every moment of it. The roads are a little rough but the animals made up for it. We all agreed the donkeys were the most entertaining! We laughed so hard at them and their personalities! The animals know what’s going on, they came right up and would eat from our cups. However the donkeys made you stop…they would walk straight at the front of the car (head on) to make you stop so they could get their foods! Loved them! The giraffe was so precious! It was sweet and gentle. All the animals looked well! The gift shop had lots of items to look at! We will definitely go again!

This is a fantastic drive thru animal experience. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding all the animals which even includes a giraffe and zebras. They also have a white tiger though you obviously can't feed it. We had four adults in our group and bought the largest food package but we definitely wished we had bought two. It was a wonderful experience!
Terri N — Google review
I was expecting more. The roads are rough and 90% of the animals are llamas and miniture donkeys. 1 white tiger away from the road in a cage. 1 giraffe away from the street in a cage. 2 white wolfs away from the street in a cage. 2 little kangaroos away from the street in a cage. And a few other animals. Drove 3 hours to come here but we not impressed.

During a short getaway to Oklahoma, we decided to stop by a drive-thru wilderness park for a little adventure. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but the excitement built as we watched all kinds of cars and trucks heading through. The road inside was a bit rough with a few potholes, but the experience made it worth it. I brought along my 5-year-old travel buddy, who, at first, seemed curious but quickly changed her mind once we started feeding the animals. There were dozens of them—some gentle, others a bit too eager, all just after the feed cups we were given. Once she got a whiff of the animals and saw the drool dripping from their mouths, she was officially done and rolled her window up for the rest of the ride. I, on the other hand, had a blast feeding the donkeys, who were by far the most persistent—chasing the car for snacks! We also saw majestic arctic wolves and a beautiful white tiger cooling off in the water. Bison and zebras roamed freely, making it a wild, memorable experience despite my daughter’s less-than-impressed attitude.

After reading reviews, we weren't entirely sure how this attraction would turn out. Here are our thoughts after going through it with our kids. Lots of animals in number and variety, though llamas, deer, and donkeys seem to be the most in number. The llamas and donkeys definitely understand that food comes out of vehicle windows and aggressively seek to be fed, haha. Some of the animals are in cages/pens (i.e. the tiger, wolves, hyena, camel, rhino, some goats), but most are free-ranging. You'll find the aforementioned critters, plus others like bison, water buffalo, ostriches, goats/sheep, cattle, some antelope, and geese. It's worth the $6 to get 3 cups of feed. I failed to check the distance of the drive in the park, but it felt like at least 3-4 miles, so ration your food out. The more uncommon animals were on the back part of the drive. The road condition ranges from fair to very rough. There are many areas with large potholes and sections where the pavement has washed away - dodging these bad patches can feel like doing a slalom. We took our minivan and did scrape once or twice despite my best efforts. Some of the animals looked to be in poor condition. The park has clearly seen better days as evidenced by the general state of disrepair and the several side-attractions that are not in current use... but it did look like there may be some ongoing attempt to restore some of them. It was neat, but a little pricey. Been there, done that, not sure that I would go back unless it had some major overhaul.
Jamison F — Google review
Very nice gift shop and friendly staff. The animals and roads were a lot less desirable. We actually felt sorry for the big kat, wolves and Rhino. We also noticed an animal limping and after looking close, his nail was overgrown and hurting him. Don't get me wrong, I was glad to see them and help feed them, but I think they need to plant more food and fix the roads.
Jo N — Google review
I love the experience of getting to interact with the animals! They seem well cared for for the most part, but the more exotic animals seemed restless and could use company, as they were kept alone in their enclosure. Specifically the giraffe and white tiger. The gift shop and roads seemed in disrepair and could use some attention. Its is a local attraction and a must see if youre looking for a day trip or want some playful harassment from friendly animals.
Tara M — Google review
It is fun but it's a long slow drive. Much longer than we expected. I would really really like if they had some kind of signs as you're driving to tell you how much further you had to go. That way you could ration your food out. Towards the end we had some donkeys running alongside our car and I felt bad that we were out of food. Also wouldn't mind a "shortcut" to exit in case you have a child who gets fussy or has a dirty diaper or just in case you're ready to go. Would like to see the go carts back in action. Be aware there are multiple inclines and declines along the trail as well as some deep potholes. Definitely would not bring a fairly new car here. We learned that the hard way. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Beautiful place! Can you imagine so much water in Oklahoma in August! Great place to relax and the Rangers are super knowledgeable. Gift shop is cute just wish it was bigger.

This is a great spot to stretch your legs and enjoy a short hike during a road trip. The park rangers were very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the short trail next to the natural visitor center, which leads to a pond. It was lovely to experience nature, and we even spotted a few different types of dragonflies. Overall, it's a very pleasant place to visit and appreciate the outdoors. Plenty of parking the day we visited.

Great place to visit and enjoy the day with family and friends. Plenty of spots to get into the water. Little Niagara is a Hotspot and might be crowded during holidays. Many trails to explore.

Great job maintaining these trails. It has been 7 years since I hiked them and it looks just as good as it did before with no obstructions or degradation in the forest from all the people. This place is always overpacked on the weekends. But it is a true gem in Oklahoma with crystal clear waters. Beware it stays cold, but is swimmable. Not all guests are nice, there are a lot of people that seem to be there to party or cause problems, I've never seen a nature area so packed. They have rangers guiding people how to park since people can't figure it on their own I guess, that's awkward. The trails are extremely easy, unless you take the long loop around the whole area. No tough spots if you are in any type of shape. There is also a couple nearby lakes if you are having problems finding camping. The camp spots are tiny.

I can't wait to return! Camped in Loop C, enjoyed the nice big pad and view. I want to primitive camp in Loop A. Travertine Nature Center was a lovely walk with springs and interesting CCC works. We need to come back and explore what they offer inside. Enjoyed the bison, kayaking on the lake, and found good food in Sulphur! Enjoyed prairie horseback trails with wonderful vistas near Rock Creek. Bromide Hill has an impressive lookout. Chickasaw Cultural Center is a must visit as well as visiting all the mineral springs.

The Chickasaw Cultural Center, located in Sulphur, Oklahoma, offers a fascinating exploration of Chickasaw culture and heritage. The center features exhibits, galleries, and outdoor recreations of a village that provide an immersive experience of traditional life. Visitors can witness daily performances and learn about the history through real artifacts and interactive displays.
Me and the family visited the Chickasaw Cultural Center on a recent trip as we want our kids to learn all the history not just one side or what was said out of one book. This center was great! The staff was all friendly especially dealing with our crazy kids they taught our kids how to play stickball and even played with them! We also learned about the stomp dances among many other things. The food area we had was amazing I cannot recommend the Venison stew highly enough! It was amazingly tasty and tender. Ive eaten a-lot of venison in my life and this has to be the best I’ve had! I also had the buffalo burger which tasted great aswell! The entire center was beautiful and educational I highly suggest you stop and learn the history!

The cultural center offers scenic views of southern Oklahoma and provides a worthy tribute to the rich history of the Chickasaw Nation. The center includes an impressive replica of a traditional Chickasaw village. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional stomp dance performance, which is scheduled throughout the day. There are multiple employees throughout the museum and exhibits that offer helpful insights during the visit. It’s also near the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and the Artesian. Great for families and adults. Everything is free except the museum.

What a beautiful space, inside and out. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the grounds, village, spiral garden, over the bridge, and through the various buildings. What a wonderful place to celebrate Chickasaw culture!

This is a beautiful center. We went for the Toompalli festival, and they had many activities for the children. It was very sobering to go through the exhibit. It is one thing to read about what the government put the Native Americans through, quite another to read letters from the children and then see one of the barber chairs where they sat while hair was cut off. I can only compare it to my walk through the Holocaust museum. There are no words to describe the profound effect it had on me, How could this happen? Therefore, I was delighted to see the young people dance. New generations to carry on the traditions of their people. To have pride in who they are. Everyone there was very kind and I would love to go there again. The weather was turning,so we were not able to go through the village, or the butterfly garden The terrain could be taxing for some, so they have trams that will pick you up in the parking area, and take you to your desired destination. Beautiful theatre, great cafe. A must see if you are in the area.

Great stop for a fun time for almost all ages. If you like collections, comics, movies, action series, action figures you can spend a LOT of time here. It has more to it every time I have visited. Highly recommend!

I've been to some nice toy collections, but this gem is a must. The crew are very nice, and if you're lucky, you can catch the owner. He knows everything about his inventory, and can take you right to an item anywhere in this museum. I spent 3 hours and made 3 trips around the museum, each time finding things I had missed before. Also, they rotate displays with back room stock to keep everything fresh. I found the museum on a long trek, making a 1 week arc from the South. It's a bit of a drive from my home town, but I will be going back. Don't miss it. Even if you have to go a little out of your way, just go ahead and stop by. You won't be disappointed if you have any interest in toys of all kinds, from all generations.

This collection is a must see! My family (including my notably nostalgic husband) were all completely blown away, not only by the sheer number of toys but how creatively they were displayed in scenes. This museum was wonderful fun, with scavenger hunts and about every interesting thing you could possibly wish to see. Bravo!

A whimsical wonderful way to connect with one’s inner child! We had such a lovely time seeing the incredible collection and even got to play treasure hunt with the man who started the museum. It was a truly magical day for us that won’t ever be forgotten. Thank you for keeping the magic of childhood alive for us all.

My family and I was excited to visit this Super Awesome Museum of action figures. When we arrived unknowingly the museum was closed due to winter hours. So we still observed the wonderful displays from the window. Luckily, this nice gentleman appeared out of nowhere and began to say to us, as we was observing this picture of various supermen, “Nice isn’t it??” I was like of course it’s all the Supermen ever!! He proceeded and says “ I know, Because Im the owner and I created the picture.” We was amazed. Even though they we closed he allowed us to enter..this place is unexplainable. Perfectly established.. Trust me you will be amazed!!! Also thank you again for gifting the kiddos toys.

I’ve been to this establishment 3 times now and I never get tired of it! This was the first time our youngest was able to visit and he was very impressed - mostly with the ride on cars! :) The vast array of memorabilia and nostalgia just brings such joy to my 80s kid heart. The displays are fabulous and you can spend hours just looking at them all. The last time we were there several years ago the big “room” was Batman themed but I was pleasantly surprised to find it filled with Star Wars this go round! I recommend this establishment to anyone who is a movie fan, tv fan, pop culture fan, 80s nerd, collector, a breathing person. It’s just great and really makes your inner child giddy. Bring quarters for the ride on machines if you have little ones in tow. The front includes a shop with reasonably priced toys to take home!

Tiger Safari Zoological Park, located in Tuttle, Oklahoma, is a 45-acre habitat for a variety of wildlife including tigers, bears, lemurs, lions, leopards and other African wildcats. The non-profit organization not only provides a home for these majestic creatures but also offers interactive encounters and educational tours to teach visitors about the importance of caring for them. The park features sunset safaris and interactive games suitable for all ages.
It was the hottest day of the year and it was still worth it. We went on the early morning, mega-VIP tour. It included a guided tour and feeding opportunity, a “free time” wander, and an indoor encounter. They had donuts, coffee, juice, and other pastries for us when we arrived. We saw or fed every single thing the website said we would. It was a small group so everyone got a turn at everything. They gave us plenty of food/treats for feeding during the tour and after when we had our free time to wander. Emily was very knowledgeable about every animal we encountered and offered facts about the animals and included personality quirks. Emily also explained which animals weren’t people friendly and couldn’t be safely handled by the public. There was only one animal we didn’t see and she warned us about that- panther wasn’t interested in coming out when it was already 90+ by 8:00am- can’t blame it. For the indoor animal petting portion, they had several handlers with different animals so we didn’t really need to wait to pet or hold anything. We liked that they directed people on how to touch each animal to ensure the animals were safe. I was skeptical because I read about the location ahead of time, including every negative review. And like everyone else, I watched the infamous Netflix show about that other guy. There were some things I didn’t like, such as the big cats not having play water or the hyena not having a companion, but they had water to drink and Emily did talk about them visiting the hyena throughout the day and that they are looking for a companion (I’m sure finding a hyena is not easy). We have left other encounters for seeing concerning treatment of animals, and we didn’t see anything like that. We recommend going.

The vip is worth getting. They bring out some animals to show and tell, and some you can hold, and others just touch. The staff is wonderful, answering questions with ease. Everyone is really nice. The place is big so be prepared to walk you see many types of creatures. Some of the places lion very run down, but I'm guessing those places are more for summertime use. Beside that awsome place for kids to enjoy a nice day and learn some new things about animals they didn't know.

Entire experience started out a little rough as our reservation wasn’t in their system (we called to make the reservation), but we had paid in advance to stay in a cabin on property - staff seemed super surprised about our arrival and was not super stoked, which makes sense! Aside from this initial interaction, the whole place was incredible. We went on a weekday and were the ONLY people in the entire park! Which sounds crazy, but we went in their off season when folks were working or at school. It was actually really cool to experience it that way without a bunch of people crowding you! We could take our time with each animal and exhibit. We ended up getting a VIP Encounter with our reservation by staying on property, which entailed getting to meet at LEAST 10 different animals up close and personally. Our guide for this was Amy, who was so so so kind and friendly and answered all of our crazy questions. After this, we got to feed monkeys and kangaroos. What a cool experience!!!! Again, still the only people in the entire place. At this point it was dusk and more animals were out than when we initially walked through the park- all cats were very well fed and had enough room to move around in- their pens were HUGE! Loved seeing that and that they were well cared for. In terms of where we stayed, it was in one of the lodges at the back of the property where you’re next to the zebras! The place was so well worth the money with great amenities, very clean, and quiet (except for the animals you can hear at night which is so cool lol). 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back. If you’re thinking about making the trip here, DO IT! This place deserves your money and your time! Don’t skip it!

Very cool experience! Deff worth trying out! The tree house we stayed in, the bathroom was down two flights of stairs outside, with no air ventilation. The treehouse was also lacking A/C. The ONE window unit they have upstairs only blows hot air. So bring a fan!!!! Emily was part of the park staff and she was by far the most laid back and educational person we met there! We really enjoyed her company! Waking up the sound of a lions roar, was terrifying yet peaceful at the same time!!!! Check it out! It’s an experience you’ll never forget. 🐅🦁🐒

Grandkids school trip from Shawnee. I expected 3 tigers and 10,000 screaming kids and once the crowd was gone.. or more like... I left the crowd and decided to go walk about while they got educated.... it was pretty awesome. I know 1st hand what it's like keeping up buildings, pens, ground, ponds bridges, animals for public display etc.. Great folks, and learning my" brother" firefighter runs the place was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully I'll return on a less stressful day. Some parents need a kick in the groin... letting thier kids bang on the glass agitating the tiger who was trying to eat them through the acrylic panel. After I thought this is how these places make the world news... the grandpa in me yelled at all of them.. including the parents laughing taking the videos. Otherwise... great time and surprising place.

Brought my elderly disabled Dad here while on a trip from DFW to Norman and the upper deck was perfect for him. He always plays for fun and not to win, so slots are good. He had a blast even though he can't be around flashy lights for too long. Thank you for providing a safe and fun experience!

Great customer service. Clean rooms. Quiet for a casino. 10/10 Air conditioning. We will be back. Thank you, Oklahoma for a fantastic time!

My worst experience since covid happened. Spent $300 within 10 minutes. 4 machines 0 wins! I have never experienced such bad luck ever!! I will never play here again! We have other options and I will be going east of OKC next time! Tricked me on trick or treat night! Never again "NEVERwin"!!!! And I had said I would be happy if I can just play awhile or break even. I didn't get either one!!

My husband I decided to get out for a bit and came to the casino. He told me to eat before we left but of course I didn't listen lol. So I went over to Burger King and Let me tell you Thomas and Kristen were so helpful and patient with me. Food was hot and fresh. Service was amazing.

Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History offers extensive displays showcasing the natural and cultural history spanning back four billion years, along with a diverse range of artwork. The museum is particularly appealing to children as they can enjoy exploring dinosaur exhibits, observing various animals and engaging in hands-on activities. Additionally, visitors can benefit from extra educational activities on weekends and special offers for members. The facility features clean restrooms and an elevator for those with mobility needs.
Amazing place! Great place for children and adults. Not to big but not to small. So many interactive activities.

Unfortunately, I have a bad back, so I had to sit down a lot, and that probably affected my enjoyment of the place. And my rating! Truth be told, this place was boring in some places and interesting in others. This museum seems set up for archeology and anthropology students, which is probably why it's on the OU campus. But I enjoy (or would enjoy, if my back didn't hurt) visiting museums, so I did enjoy it (or again, would have).
Celeste V — Google review
Truly had an extraordinary time! There was so much to see and we learned so much! I loved the hands on aspect of some of the exhibits, and loved that there were questions throughout to see if you knew the answers already! It was such a fun experience and would highly recommend!

I love it so much. It was great they have so much cool and interesting stuff here. The dinosaurs were my favorite part but they have an amazing native American exhibit and wildlife of Oklahoma overall the museum is great!

It is a place to enjoy many sculptures and fossils of dinosaurs and other animals, games for children and a shop to buy souvenirs from the museum.

This was a lot of fun, and the best part was meeting Nance, who, after telling her it was our first time visiting, gave us a tour in the bone section. She had personally been on several digs herself along with years at some of the best museums. She was knowledgeable and funny and made the experience that much more fun. Besides that, the rest of the museum was awesome and educational, and we had an excellent time. Can't wait to go back with the kids.

So much fun here!! Our kids love all the dinosaurs, animals and hands on activities. So much to read and learn here. We've been so many times and still haven't read it all. Extra activities on the weekends, at least once a month and special offers for members are available, too! They have clean bathrooms & their staff are kind and helpful as well! (There is an elevator for those that need it too, woo!) We highly recommend Sam Noble Museum!

There is alot to do and see especially if they have an event like the butterfly thing. Everyone was great! The girls helping out with the butterfly feeder and the thing catching the butterflies( and taught us about the real vs cast bones, was the best) , and the lady who helped us with the microscope were my favorite of them all. They were so energetic and involved the boys. We've been through alot and we needed this!!! Now back to Tulsa.

Sights & Landmarks
The Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium is a red-brick football arena that serves as the home field for the University of Oklahoma's Sooners. On game day, the atmosphere is electric and lively. The stadium has over 85,000 seats available and offers a variety of vendors selling souvenirs, food, drinks, and other items commonly found at college football games. During halftime, mascots can be seen walking around and taking pictures with fans.
I have been to every stadium of the teams in the SEC. I am an Alabama fan and my team lost but, by far, Oklahoma has the most-hospitable fans of any team in the conference. Fans were welcoming upon arrival, the stadium was awesome. Great atmosphere for a college football game!!!

It's just a great place to go. The energy is just phenomenal here. That's honestly the quick and easy of this review --- it may not be the biggest, or OU may not be top in the nation, but the crowd is always a boomer situation. It's always a blast to go to a game here. Love it.

Went for the Michigan-Oklahoma game. Fantastic stadium with a great view from where I was sitting. Didn’t try any of the food or drink options because I was full from tailgating, but this is an amazing venue for college football.

Went to a game for the first time here on Saturday, nice game, great amount of security, felt safe, brought my infant and toddler and still had a great time. Recommend for anyone to enjoy a football game here whether you have kids or not.

This is not pointed towards the fans of Oklahoma as they were a class act! I have been to venues all across the world and have never in my life felt more unsafe than this venue. I brought my two children ages 3&5 and to have a mob of people not divided by security or stadium staff is not only unsafe but could be fatal. This was the worst I have ever seen at in my life. Not only were multiple fans crying and trying to just gain breathing room but I had to get to a point for my family’s safety to plow my way through the mob to our seats. You would think for a larger event that the stadium would prepare. They definitely did not. As for the fans, thank you for welcoming us from out of town with open arms. From the restaurants to the fans seated next to us as well at the game everyone welcomed us to with open arms and were very respectful. Unfortunately our excitement to see a blue blood battle turned into a very traumatic experience for my wife and children. Not only did this happen but the same entrance was allowing multiple fans In with glass bottles from tailgates and not enforcing the clear bag policy. We will never be coming to game at this venue again.

Thunderbird Casino is a long-lasting establishment providing various table games, slot machines, a lounge, a dining area and live weekend musical performances. The selection of slot machines is impressive while the beverages offered at the bar are affordable. Their grill serves delicious food with one of their specialties being catfish platter. However, whether they payout or not can be unpredictable as sometimes winning big is possible but other times $50 may only last for 10 minutes.
I had a great time at Thunderbird Casino! They’ve got unlimited fountain drinks, ash trays and trash cans everywhere, and a ton of staff around which was nice. A few machines were down, but there were still plenty to pick from. Didn’t walk out a big winner, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. Still had fun and would come back!

We went last year and this year for 4th of July. The fireworks show is one of the best I've seen. The concerts have been great. Great vendors for food and arts and crafts. Definitely going next year. They also have a pow wow the days after. Haven't got to see that, but I'm sure it's pretty good, too. Weather permitting.

Excellent facility. Recently attended a pow-wow in the casino for the beautiful Oklahoma Indian Biker Princess. There is also an additional space connected by a small hallway that served as a vendor room and supper line. Hand sanitizing stations were available at every door. Very clean. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

I only play their free play or pick up the free stuff. A white elderly lady came up and stole my husband's wallet off the machine and got away with $2,500.00. She dropped the wallet off at the players club like she just found it ( right on camera ). Surveillance have her on camera taking the wallet and stealing the money and yet nobody did anything about it. The tribal police were notified, we made a report, but still.... nothing was done about it. We used to spend close to 500 a week in there, we don't anymore.

Express Clydesdales Barn

Sights & Landmarks
Experience the grandeur of the Express Clydesdales Barn in Yukon, Oklahoma. Take a complimentary tour of this operational ranch and delve into the rich Western legacy of these stunning purebred horses. Witness bath day events and stroll through paddocks to meet these magnificent creatures up close. The knowledgeable staff is eager to answer questions about these colossal co-workers who travel nationwide. Admire their beauty and size as some horses eagerly interact with visitors.
We booked a free tour to see the horses. Ee arrived and were given instructions on where we were allowed to look. We took 4 young kids (18months-4.5years), and they loved it! It was a very clean facility, so no worries there. They had a place to sanitize hands. There are a couple of different places to see the horses. The barn is completely climate controlled, so it was comfortable even though it was chilly outside. Many of the horses were social and enjoyed the pets. Outside at the back barn, there is a covered porch where you can open a window to each horses' stable to say hello. These were the friendliest horses that we found! No entering the bak barn (I think the training barn). There were a few friendly farm dogs greeting us outside, as well. As far as a "tour" goes, there was no formal tour. You are basically booking a time slot to view the facility and pet the horses. There's also a giftshop with apparel, a couple of coin slot horse rides for kids (they will give you the coins to ride), and indoor restrooms. We spent around an hour here, but everything to offer can be experienced in about 20 minutes.
Danielle M — Google review
Awsome experience. We walked around the barn for no charge and said hi to the clydes that were feeding. Also got to walk around to the backbarn and pet the few who stuck their heads out to say hi. Awe, inspiring to be among these giants, a short but rewarding outing.

The people who work there are so nice. They are willing to answer all your questions. The Clydesdales are beautiful of course and so is the facility. My group had a wonderful time!

If you're in the area go stop by here and you can see the beautiful horses and if you make an appointment tour you can learn history about the horse reams, feed them and more. It's a really cool spot to check out.

As a wedding cake vendor, I’ve delivered to many venues—but Express Clydesdales Barn stands out for its professionalism and charm. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and efficient, helping me navigate the setup with ease. The barn itself is stunning, with its vintage wood beams and open layout that makes staging a breeze. There’s plenty of space for vendors to unload and work without disrupting the flow of the event. The team clearly values coordination and communication, which makes our job smoother and the couple’s day flawless.

Surprised my horse loving 9 year old granddaughter with a visit and self guided tour here one Saturday afternoon. The barns and grounds are well maintained and attractive. Staff is friendly and eager to answer questions. Both the Clydesdales and the Percherons were engaging and interacted with us through their stall windows. The gift shop is small but has a good amount of items and we purchased several things. My granddaughter is determined to go back. Next time we will do a guided tour and possibly the Training tour.
Forest F — Google review
We had an amazing time and the guided tour was well worth it! The guide was very knowledgeable and so sweet to the kids with us. It was a very hot day but didn't feel too warm in the barn and shade!
Sarah L — Google review
If you like large horses, this is a great place to come visit. These Clydesdales are amazing. Great place for the family to enjoy walking around for .5/hour. There are guided tours but you can walk around on your own in specific areas. Located at Wiltshire and 11th, it’s just a few miles north of I40 or west of the Kilpatrick Turnpike. Park in a large gravel parking lot north side of wildfire, you can’t miss it. Look for black gates with gold accents and a large barn. The barn will often have the horses doing what they’re always doing, eating. Behind the barn is the training facility that you can see more of these giants. Going inside though is often restricted for those on the tours. Outside there’s an exercise pen and open spaces for the other horses and cows. They do have a gift shop and some old buggies. Also bring a few dimes if you have little ones. There’s a couple mechanical horse rides that only take dimes. Enjoy!

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a poignant tribute to the victims of the 1995 Murrah Building bombing. The memorial features a reflective pool and a garden, along with 168 chairs representing each victim of the attack, including 19 children who were in the building's daycare. The museum provides in-depth information about the bombing and Timothy McVeigh's trial, offering visitors context for their visit.
This was really cool. I love that the memorial took out part of the street in order to make the reflecting pool. It is moving and quiet in the middle of the city. It was simple but poignant. My son was with us (18 yrs) and he did not take know any details so it was great to be able to talk him through history that I remembered from when I was 12. We did not have time to do the museum, which would have answered a lot of his questions but we did the best we could but the interactive video screens were extremely helpful. I truly recommended stopping if you are in OKC. I also suggest going across the street to the church memorial and reading the story there. Worth the time.

Review of the Oklahoma City National Memorial ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 Stars) Visiting the Oklahoma City National Memorial was an incredibly moving and humbling experience. The site is beautifully designed, with powerful symbolism throughout—especially the Field of Empty Chairs, which honors each life lost in the 1995 bombing. The atmosphere is respectful and reflective, and it’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a space for both remembrance and healing. One of the highlights of our visit was speaking with a National Park Ranger on site. His deep knowledge and thoughtful storytelling added a whole new layer of meaning to our experience. The insight he shared about the significance of each part of the memorial helped us connect more personally with the events and the resilience of the Oklahoma City community. It’s clear he is passionate about his role, and it made a real difference in our visit. This memorial is a must-visit for anyone in the area—both to pay respects and to better understand an important part of American history.

What an incredibly touching memorial that can move the strongest person to tears. You can feel the pain at this memorial with so many innocent young and old lives lost. This was a beautiful memorial to honor those lives lost and those left behind. The outdoor memorial was very well constructed and the museum inside was eye opening and jaw dropping. Worth the experience as you will learn, see and hear actual recordings from that day. 💔

Visiting the memorial and museum was a powerful experience. I was 5 or 6 when this happened and don't have the most vivid memory of it so I'm glad to have visited to more truly understand the gravity of this tragedy. Our country would benefit by everyone visiting to see what happens when we give in to hatred and extremism but also to see the best in us when we come together and stand united.

Such a beautiful tribute to all affected by this horrible event. Planned on just going to the memorial but it was so beautiful that I had to come back the next day to the museum. While at the memorial a ranger came out and gave us a bit of history on the memorial, museum, and some facts about the bombing. I recommend everyone visiting at least once.

The OKC Bombing Memorial and Museum brings us back 30 years this year to one of those moments you'll never forget... the Memorial is beautiful and so beautiful compared to the violence that ripped thru the Heart of the Sooner Nation. The museum well curated and taught me things I never knew about that day.

We visited this very moving memorial and museum for the Oklahoma City Bombing by McVay in 1995. The outdoor guided tour around the reflection pool and the Empty Chairs representing the victims killed was very informative! Each chair was etched with the name of the victim. Each row of chairs represented the victims killed on each of the 9 floors of the building. The chairs light up at night and look like they are floating in the night.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial is a beautiful place to stop and take in what a city means to people. The sheer strength of the explosion is still evident. There is an eerie feeling here and yet a certain type of peace as well. I have been many times. This is a must see in OKC!

The Grand Casino Hotel and Resort is a luxurious facility that offers a variety of dining options as well as a casino, spa and rooftop pool. The hotel is located in downtown Oklahoma City and is within walking distance of several popular attractions.
We don’t gamble, but stopped/stayed here headed back from CO to AL, mostly due to having excess room in the parking lot for our trailer. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality throughout. The rooms were clean, the beds were cozy, the bathrooms were fantastic. And to top it all off, we ate at the sports bar late last night. They had a 50min wait and were closing in one hour. The sweet hostess let us know we could order to go, and eat on the ‘patio’. Food service was excellent, it was absolutely delicious, and the price was surprisingly low for the amount of food. - All this on a holiday weekend when they were fully booked. 👍🏻

This is a very nice casino. The elevators worked quick. The staff is very outgoing friendly and courteous. The machines are tight but all casinos are these days. The beds are absolutely the most comfortable. The shower was very spacious. The water is nice and hot. Staff graciously brought more coffee and cream up to our room. The snacks are reasonable. This was a very good stay. The players club staff was the best i have seen with customer service. Extremely helpful. Everyone in the casino was very attentive

The service at this hotel and casino was absolutely fantastic. Most everyone at each restaurant and guest services were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and welcomed. I want to give a shout to Jim at guest services/front lobby. He welcomed me each time I was in/out the lobby and helped me move boxes back and forth for my trade show. Also Izayah at the Flame restaurant was so sweet and provided excellent service. All of the casino staff I spoke to were amazing. I would recommend coming to this place to anyone passing through. I look forward to visiting again just for the friendly service. Also the amazing hotel beds! The beds were also very comfortable and rooms were clean!

We didn't stay at the hotel. They have Valet parking here if you wish. We did play slots and found a great mix of old and new to play. We also ate at the restaurant in the casino. The food was great. I only had a burger, but hubs had a Ribeye and he was pleased, as was I.

Good atmosphere, nice and clean casino but man the last 4 or 5 times I've been I haven't won anything, I mean anything. Is that the casinos fault? Not necessarily but when I can go to many others and at least somewhat win or at least break even then that tells me something. Need to loosen up the slots a little or something. It'll be a while before I'm back again unfortunately.

Stayed or tried to stay there 10/19. Had a good time at casino. The room was really nice, the beds and pillows were terrible. Hard as a rock mattress and pillows were the worst I have ever seen very small. We had to have maintenance come up to fix the television. The tub in the bathroom was very nice and relaxing. Wish we could have slept there.
Devin S — Google review
I am so excited that they have a lot of the older slot machines that allow you to play and have good line hits. They also have a nice selection of the newer slot machines for those who like to play them. It's disappointing that so many other casinos have gotten rid of the older games that actually let you play for a while for your money, and have a better chance of winning along the way. Yes, the majority of the older slots don't have the pie in the sky jackpots, but the majority of people rarely ever hit those jackpots. The newer slot machines are so volatile, you can go through all of your money you have for the whole day in about an hour and it's extremely boring. Also enjoy that it is two levels and helps with the cigarette smell, with me being a non-smoker I enjoy having space in better air to breathe. I will definitely be back frequently to play here more, with frequent visits.

Science Museum Oklahoma is a top science museum in the state and one of the largest in the USA. It features interactive exhibits where visitors can engage with various activities, including playing instruments, exploring engineering and technology, and learning about aviation history. The museum also houses a planetarium and the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, showcasing memorabilia from legendary gymnasts. With 8 acres of space dedicated to STEM-based attractions, it offers an educational experience for all ages.
My kids (8&11) loved it here! It was an adventure and tons to see and do! I loved how they let me run back out to my car to grab our picnic lunches and let us eat them inside where it was so much cooler. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often!

Visited this museum TWICE while in town for a week because it was that much fun. My kids ages 4 and 7 loved every nook of this place. The museum is huge and while packed with activities feels very spacious, open and clean. There are exhibits for all age ranges and I think kids and adults can be engaged for hours just the same. We all enjoyed every aspect of it. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped for children to independently use them including low sinks, soap and towels. We loved the mirror maze, sensory nook, tinker room, and the live science shows (we saw two). I’d like to mention 2 cons: - the food offered at the restaurant is not good quality nor there are healthy options. The cafeteria just doesn’t makes sense with such a great facility. Wish they offered healthy, fresh cooked food. My kids ate pizza and a pretzel and both were packaged/frozen, warmed up low quality food. But they do have Starbucks coffee and I enjoyed that. - the garden has so much potential to be a great place as well but seemed a bit neglected. There are a couple of things you would do there but a playground or more science outside would’ve been great. The picnic tables were also dirty and a bit neglected. Overall a very good experience and I recommend it for a full day of fun. Pack your own lunch and snacks and you are all set! Worth the ticket price 100%.

We stayed longer than we thought we would! Lots of fun hands-on activities and plenty for the dads in the group! The planetarium was a fun experience for the kids, the segue ride was hilarious, and the Olympic section was a great experience. The tornado machine was hit and miss. Our favorite exhibits: the music room and the mini-photography showcase.

I went for a toddler birthday party & there were so many interesting fun things for the children to explore. A few hours wasn’t enough time to nearly get through everything there is to do with a break for lunch & birthday cake. I do remember visiting here when I was in middle school, so glad it’s still around.
Crystal M — Google review
That is a wonderful place to have a incredible time with your family and friends. I think it is beyond an ordinary museum. It has been allowed to use and experience lots of experiments. For the children looks like a kinda playground but the difference between normal playground and the museum is to learn while having fun.

We celebrated my kids’ birthday here recently and it was completely worth it. The staff drew pictures on the wall that gave them so much glee. We added in the ice cream package and Roman did a fantastic job getting the kids involved. All the families had so much fun checking out the museum as most parents hadn’t been since they were kids. We have a membership that we will definitely be keeping up with and will be visiting frequently.

i took my kids to the "Discover Fest" and the had a blast, i highly recomend it, they do it every year and IT IS FREE! they always have so many interesting things and shows. I think the only kind of "not good" thing was that they were selling water bottles in $3.50 and sodas in $2.00 which i think is not really good for kids being dirsty and trying to save their money they finished picking up a soda.

The bathrooms could be cleaners and the supplies could be stocked more frequently and more misters. But other than that the facility is clean, the animals seem healthy and tended to. And the facility seems full of animals. Pricing is affordable as well if you do a daily entry or a seasonal pass. The food prices could be a little better and maybe more carts for waters, etc. But other than that this zoo is a fun thing to do with the family.

Such a fun day! The zoo is super clean, easy to get around, and full of amazing animals. My favorite part was watching the elephants play, and the flamingos were so pretty! It’s a great spot for kids and families — and honestly, it was just as enjoyable for us adults too. A perfect way to spend a few hours.

Large Zoo with alot to see and do. We didn't get there until 12pm and stayed until just about closing time and I feel like we had to really rush to see everything. I'd recommend getting there earlier than we did 😂😂 Ate at the Canopy Cafe. Food is pricey, but portions were large and delicious. My daughter really enjoyed the Emus, fish, goats and Flamingos. It's is a very hilly zoo as well, so be prepared for a bunch of uphill walking if you don't plan your route beforehand ( we didn't 😂😂). Thanks for a great day OKC Zoo! 😊😊

Took the kids on a day trip to the zoo. We had a great time seeing all of the animals, riding the merry go round. The food prices are a bit much but the overall experience was positive. Clean and lots to do!

We had such a great time at the Oklahoma City Zoo! Our group included seven adults, a 3-year-old, and an 11-month-old—and we were all able to get in for just $150. Such a great value for a full day of fun, especially with our extended family joining us. The zoo itself is beautiful, clean, and impressively large—we didn’t even make it through the whole thing before it was time for nap time! We especially appreciated the interactive stations set up throughout the park, where friendly zoo staff shared info about the animals and let us touch things like a real zebra pelt. It was a great way to keep everyone, kids and adults alike, engaged and learning. The variety of animals was wonderful, and we were happy to see the animals in large, thoughtfully designed enclosures. My son was completely captivated by an ostrich that followed us along the fence—definitely his favorite moment of the day! I personally loved watching the red pandas—they were so fun to see up close. While we didn’t eat lunch at the zoo, we saw plenty of people enjoying generous portions, and I have to say—the chicken tenders looked surprisingly good (and I don't usually say that about zoo food!). We also noticed a few spots offering adult beverages throughout the park, which was a nice bonus for a relaxing stroll. There were also plenty of fun photo opportunities scattered around the zoo, which made for great memories and some adorable family pics. All in all, we had a fantastic visit and would definitely recommend the OKC Zoo to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly adventure!

This is the most beautiful, fun zoo I've been to yet. Well laid out with care towards art and landscaping. There are mist spraying locations to cool off, the drinking fountains have a new option that allows you to place your empty water bottle there and it fills up. You can bring your own lunch. And so much more!

Very clean bathrooms. Lively animals. It was cool to see how much room the animals had. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Sad part was that all the penny machines were either out of order or pennies. We ended up only losing a dollar from the machine.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in the history of the American West. The museum showcases dioramas, artifacts, and art that document and interpret the rich heritage of cowboy culture. Settled by pioneers during the 1889 Land Run, Oklahoma City has deep roots in cowboy country and is home to former cattle trails, ranches, and birthplace of numerous Western film stars and entertainers.
We went here as part of our Route 66 trip. Absolutely would recommend this. Amazing displays of everything cowboy! All done to a really high standard too. You could spend a couple of days here and still not see everything.

My soon to be 13 yrs old just said if this was the first museum he went to on this trip it would have been great. Hubby and I were impressed, we loved the art work. Once again beautiful pieces that look like photographs and not paintings. The staff was kind and knowledgeable as well. Super clean and beautiful I wish the price was a bit less for teens and families at all adds up.

We visited the Cowboy Museum. It was okay and worth the visit if you are interested in cowboy history. The Museum Grill is the museum’s restaurant ((but not really a “grill). We ordered the chef salad, flavorful tortilla soup, and gigantic southwest chicken wrap. All were very good! The museum also has a nice gift shop.

I hadn't visited in about 30 years and was more than impressed with the improvements over the years. Incredible collections, paintings and sculptures are just the icing on the cake. So much to see and learn about western heritage and culture. This is a must-see in OKC!

My husband and I had such a great time visiting the Oklahoma National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautifully everything was displayed. We really enjoyed seeing all the incredible artwork — the paintings truly captured the spirit and history of the West. The museum also had a fascinating collection of saddles, guns, clothing, and other historical pieces. Every room told a story, and it was both educational and fun to explore. You can really tell how much thought and care went into curating everything. It was a great experience overall, and we’re so glad we made time to visit. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for something both cultural and memorable!

Beautiful place, they have a really nice gift shop, lovely art, wonderful historical artifacts. There's so much to explore, be prepared to spend a lot of time here. I'd gladly come back again, I need more time to enjoy all of the exhibits. My little daughter had a lot of fun too watching photos, videos and playing at the playground outside.

This is a wonderful collection of Western history and art presented in a beautiful setting. The museum is full of amazing art and the displays tell the story of both the Native American people and the cowboys and settlers. Outside are wonderful statues and experiences to enjoy among lovely landscape.

Arcadia Round Barn

Sights & Landmarks
The Arcadia Round Barn, a striking red structure built in 1898, is a must-see historic landmark located along Route 66. Its unique round design makes it an ideal spot for memorable photos. Beyond its distinctive architecture, the barn houses a museum featuring exhibits and historical information about Arcadia and its significance to the development of Route 66 and Oklahoma.
Throwback to 1898 on Route 66 — Arcadia, Oklahoma We made a quick stop at the historic Arcadia Round Barn, and it was absolutely worth it. If you're the type who loves to dive into every artifact and display, you could easily spend hours here. But even if you just read the highlights and chat with the volunteers, it's a great 20-minute stop. The barn is beautifully maintained and easy to find, with convenient parking around back. The ground floor feels like a mix between a cozy museum and a vintage shop — I even spotted some rose rocks for sale, which was a fun local touch! The volunteers were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I really enjoyed chatting with them — they clearly love what they do. Outside, the grounds are tidy and feature old farming equipment on display. You can also climb 15 steps to the upper loft area, which is available for rent and sometimes hosts live music events. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Entry is free, but donations are definitely appreciated — well deserved — and very much needed. PROS: ✅ Great roadside stop on Route 66 ✅ Easy to find with back parking ✅ Free entry ✅ Friendly, knowledgeable volunteers ✅ Clean and well maintained ✅ Rich in history and unique charm ✅ Cool loft space available for events ✅️ No wait for entry CONS: ❌ None!

Historic round barn on route 66 in Oklahoma. The downstairs is a gift/antique shop. The loft area is amazing, and still has concerts there. The person who created us upon entrance was very knowledgeable about the history of the barn. Worth a stop if in the area. Free to visit.

Beautiful place to visit! We talked with the volunteer and we learned so much about the Round Barn. The loft is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely stop by & check it out!

An amazing, old craftsmanship made, round barn, on historic route 66 that you can visit. The upper floor and ceiling is awesome. The lower floor has more history and photos too. Be sure to visit both. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A fun stop along the route that you shouldn't miss.
BFOOSTERJ — Google review
This is so cool. The ground floor is like a mix of a goodwill shop and museum. Look at the ceiling to see how the barn was constructed. The real thing to see is the upstairs space. It’s a large space and cool frame construction.

Visited on 6.9.2025. Unique and Nostalgic Roadside Attraction in Arcadia, Oklahoma. Jyst a side note.... This would be an Outstanding places to go country dancing or square dancing. It would also be a great place to have a wedding reception.

I enjoyed the history and how well it has been kept up. Not many locations like this that are open to the public. If you have your passport book you can get it stamped. Friendly volunteers to answer questions. Also can't beat the price...give a donation.

This is a historic attraction along Route 66 in Arcadia. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily. Admission is free and you will find a decent size carpark in the back, just exit 66 a block or two over and make way to the back. There are public toilets available as well. The Barn was originally built in 1898. After decades of neglect, it was fully restored with a reconstructed roof in 1992 and is kept in good condition today. You can visit the upstairs where you will see the wooden deck space for fairly large scale events. It is worth a quick look-see. What is most interesting is the ground floor which is setup like a small museum with historical information about the Round Barn, the early days of Arcadia, Route 66 traveller business that the early 20th-century and related points of interest. There are time period artefacts on display that are nice to see as well as a gift shop area which is manned by volunteers. I really enjoyed my 20 minute stop and visit of the Arcadia Round Barn recently. They are doing really good job breathing and keeping alive this interesting bit of early Oklahoma and Midwest history here.

From just pulling into park, everything was so organized and the parking attendants were always smiling and friendly. Upon entering the facility, everyone was extremely welcoming, so friendly, and willing to help if you needed it. Now for the show, Celtic Throne. The show was fantastic. The dancers of all ages, the singers, and the musicians were amazing. You can tell they love doing what they and working together. A family of performers. An incredible show of so much talent and hard work. I would come see this show over and over again. I would like to thank every one of them for sharing their gifts for all to see. This is a must see show if anyone has the opportunity to see it. The venue, Armstrong Auditorium, is a beautiful venue with very friendly people running the facility. Thank so much.

Our first time to visit this auditorium, and we were not disappointed! Beautiful facility and the acoustics were great for performances. We saw the Celtic Throne, and the talent of these young adults and kids was amazing. Plenty of informed staff to help with doors, directions, history and parking. This is a fantastic museum. Brilliantly curated and laid out, with exciting interactive video exhibits that you view from chairs taken out of vintage cars and beds from old Route 66 motels. We had a great introductory tour from Susan, who made us feel right at home. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice and informative tour at the Route 66 Interpretive Center in Chandler Oklahoma. The museum is housed in the old National Guard Armory, built by the WPA. They have a nice gift shop, some memorabilia and videos. The seating for these videos are really cool, from A-Model Ford seats, Mustang seats, motel mattresses and more.

Thanks Susan. Nice gift shop and Center. My only suggestion: a sign outside of gift shop if you enter from east or west entrance that says Pay admission in gift shop. I will enjoy my magnet and route 66 bell 🔔. The movies need more volume. The interactive centers are cool.

What a neat place! Our tour guides were so friendly, and very knowledgeable. There is so much history in the building, you could spend all day in here watching videos and touching relics. We appreciate the free maps of Oklahoma and Route 66. The gift shop has some very well selected items, and unique souvenirs. Well worth the small fee. Have a bottled soda while you're there, they are cold and delicious, I'm saving my bottle as another souvenir. Highly recommended.

There are also refreshments avilable.

We absolutely loved our day at Lost Creek Safari!! The grounds were clean and well maintained. The whole place is paved which was perfect for our stroller and young walking kids. The animals were all close enough to see them and they were so trusting and came close. You can tell they are very well cared for! The variety of animals was so fun as well. We loved the option to pay for a feed cup to get to feed the animals. Highlights for us were the lemurs, otters, reptile barn, kangaroos, and monkeys. The staff were all VERY friendly, genuine, and taught us so much about the animals! Our whole family had a great time and we will absolutely be returning! ♿️ Parking lot is not wheelchair friendly due to the loose large sized gravel, however the rest of the park or adventure is wheelchair accessible with a wide paved walking path that goes throughout the entire park. Even the Reptile Barn has a wheelchair ramp located on the side of the building that enters the backside of the building. The single stall restroom is not wheelchair accessible due to a step at the threshold but is roomy enough inside that other people can assist someone physically enter the restroom. There is a large sink located outside the restroom that is accessible for individuals in wheelchairs. We highly recommend using this sink before leaving the safari to wash off animal slobber. This place is awesome and according to the owner has received a lot of upgrades and improvements since they purchased the park over 2 years ago. There are staff members located throughout the park that are able to assist you in feeding animals such as the Camel, Water Buffalo, Miniature Highland Cattle, Lemurs, and Parakeets. This place is packed with various animal species, not all the animals can be feed by the public or touched. The Baboons, Pig-Tailed Macaques, Spider Monkeys, Bobcats, Serval, Caracal, Jackal, Foxes, Porcupine, as well as other species are some of those species that are not touchable. The Reptile Barn has various snakes and lizards and a couple of the reptiles can be held with assistance from the staff. The staff member Katie was very helpful and informative and took the time to talk to us about all the various reptiles they had present as well as let us hold a baby wallaby. Best of all they have two Giant Anteaters and even offer the opportunity to feed the anteaters for an additional fee. This place was an amazing experience and was a blast to visit. The staff are friendly and helpful and the owner is involved and was very helpful. He even walked us to the restroom when we asked where it was and checked first to make sure it had toilet paper before we used it. They also have a concession stand that has some really good Snowcones with fun color changing spoons. I'd recommend the Cotton Candy flavor but the Piña Colada was pretty good as well. There is even covered picnic tables near the concession stand.

From start to finish, our experience with the Oklahoma Skydiving Center was nothing short of amazing. I was planning a surprise skydiving proposal, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it perfect. They were incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process and made rescheduling due to rain completely stress-free. Every single staff member was friendly, professional, and totally in on the surprise – and not one of them let it slip to my now-fiancée! I landed first, and the owner’s wife was right there waiting with the ring so I could propose the moment she touched down. Not only did everything go off without a hitch, but they also captured incredible photos of the proposal, which we’ll cherish forever. The trust, care, and enthusiasm they brought to the whole experience made it unforgettable. The tandem instructors we jumped with were fantastic – fun, calming, and clearly passionate about what they do. We felt safe and had an absolute blast. I can’t recommend the Oklahoma Skydiving Center enough, especially if you’re planning something as special as a proposal. Thanks to them, we had the most incredible, adrenaline-filled start to our next chapter!

What an awesome day. I had really great communication with the staff. Everyone was really cool. This was my first tandem jump, and now I'm wanting to continue into getting certified and continue this sport so bad. I should have done this 25 years ago when I first wanted to go. I felt really comfortable being around these professionals. They spent their time explaining and preparing me for this, it made me feel very comfortable. I immediately wanted to jump again. I am excited to return and continue the sport of skydiving.

We had a great time on Saturday. Me and a friend did the high altitude 18,000 foot tandem jump. It was a lot of fun. The training session is short and sweet. Just make sure when you land, you really bring your legs up high enough! I didn't and ended up scraping my knees a bit. But nothing broken, so no worries lol. Oh, and if you get motion sickness, I would suggest declining when they ask if you want to twirl while on the parachute. Luckily, I made it down without getting sick. I will be back next year for the 14,000 jump and hire the extra camera person for a different perspective on the video. The included video and pictures with the 18,000 were great. But I would have like to have had that extra perspective to see. I'm not sure if they offer that option with the 18,000 jump. All in all, it was an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to skydive.

First thing... the restrooms and showers next L08 spot are air conditioned! 😁 They're clean and have good tissue in the restrooms. The staff at the office are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Beautiful views and several rv pads are concrete paved. Clean and well kept post grills and concrete picnic tables (not the rough ones with built-in rocks) and fire pits. The prices are great and they are pet friendly. You'll find several rv pads with shade and they have some tent sites with electric... gotta have that morning coffee. Love it here!

Great camping spot. Nice view. They have running water and showers. Showers actually get really hot. Quiet spot tucked off the highway.

The park is kept pretty nice and clean. The sites are a bit close. Would like a little more room. Water pressure was on the low side. It was n ice to have a boat ramp close however it's a long way down and for us older folks it is a difficult walk up the ramp. Some steps would be nice as well as a courtesy dock. Other downfalls that are no fault of the state park is the marina. It gets loud and very busy on the weekends. They also have a shop where they use load equipment so it is not very peaceful. Having full hook-up was nice but not worth the price of the other annoyances.
