Surprised by this little place! Loved the feel... employee was helpful and informative! Loved the “off the wall green screen!” Awesome touch. Had many many interactive & informative displays.

Beautiful open-air square for family and friends to hang out. Also many fun bars around with college students and locals mingling.
Hai T — Google review
Still a working courthouse for the commissioner's court, the county has made great use of its public space with a variety of displays including a small museum. I understand you can rent out the courthouse for weddings or similar events which would be a nice unique space for such an occasion.

Love hanging at the square, has been a place of music, laughter, families, and couples for over 50 years of my life. I include a photo of The Confederate Soldier, because if we erase our past or hide it away (in a museum) we are doomed to repeat our past. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana (1863-1952)

This is a must visit area, day or nite. Small town feel. Historic during the day and college town nightlife ie .. Museum, Antiques, clothing, barber shop (the Bearded Lady), dining and music.

Some of the exhibits were closed due to repairs from a fire but the building is beautiful and the history very interesting

Ray Roberts Lake State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Wooded equestrian & hiking trails around a lake, plus a rustic lodge with an eatery & a marina.
Ray Roberts Lake State Park is a must-visit! 🌊🌳 It feels just like a small beach — soft sand, clear water, and peaceful surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing day out, picnic, or just soaking up some sun. A hidden gem for nature and lake lovers! 🏖️☀️
Naina — Google review
Great place for camping! The park is peaceful and well kept, and I loved being able to see both the sunrise and sunset over the lake. Lots of wildlife too – we saw deer walking near the campsites. A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature.
Jenny N — Google review
The Best of North Texas Camping - Spacious Sites, Great Trails, and Lake Access! Ray Roberts Lake State Park (Isle du Bois unit) is an absolute gem and our favorite spot for a weekend getaway near DFW. It perfectly balances a beautiful natural setting with fantastic amenities. What We Loved: Spacious Campsites: We stayed in the [Deer Ridge/Quail Run/Juniper Cove - pick one if you know!] area, and the sites were large, grassy, and offered a great sense of privacy. The trees provide excellent shade, and the setup with water/electric hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring was perfect. The Multi-Use Trails: The paved trails are immaculate and ideal for biking, jogging, or a long walk. We especially loved exploring the scenic routes that lead right down to the water. The access to the larger Greenbelt Corridor is a huge bonus for long-distance enthusiasts! Clean Facilities: The restroom and shower facilities were some of the cleanest we’ve encountered at a state park. Hot showers are a welcome luxury after a day of hiking. Lake Access: Whether you're fishing off the pier, launching a kayak, or just relaxing at the designated swim beach, the lake is beautiful and easy to get to from the main campgrounds. Tips for Your Visit: Book Early: This park is extremely popular, especially the lakeside spots, so reserve your site well in advance. Watch for Deer: We saw several deer grazing right through the campsite area in the early morning and evening—a treat for nature lovers!
Esteban F — Google review
This very large state park has something for everyone. There are trails to hike, bike, walk your dog or ride your horse. Plenty of camping slots, whether for tent, car, or RV camping. Only surprise is that there are no full hookups for RVs (or we never saw any). They have water and power, but no sewer/black or gray water drainage at the individual sites. To dump waste, they do have a waste station, though, so you can use it upon arrival or departure. And so many trees, so many paved trails! Lots of deer (do not feed the wildlife, though). The lake has catfish, crappie, and bass fishing with a fish cleaning station for convenience. Very nice, smooth launch area for your boats. Plenty of parking in lots of areas. Swim beach without lifeguard. Free life jacket loaners. Playground. Picnic areas, sandy volley ball pit, pier to walk or fish from. So much in this huge park. We love it here!
Ice Q — Google review
I went here for one day camping and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was in the Quail Run area and had easy access to the water. The water wasn't very deep where I was, unless you went out about 50 years from the shore, then it got to about chest high on a 6 foot person. While I personally didn't visit the pier or dedicated swimming areas, they are here to enjoy. Alcohol is strictly prohibited and the 10 PM curfew is enforced, as well. It is a beautiful lake, quiet and peaceful. God bless Texas!
Fryd — Google review
The park is well maintained and easy to get around. Trails are peaceful with plenty of shade, and the views are worth the visit. Great spot for picnics, or just a quiet day outdoors. Definitely a relaxing escape from the city.
Likitha S — Google review
My wife and our dogs went camping at the Ile du bois unit, park has a great walking and bike trails, and the campsites were well arranged, if a little small and crowded. Close to dallas, with almost complete cell coverage, but pretty quiet and beautiful.
Phillip V — Google review
We loved this place. Entrance fee is a little too high for the services. Restrooms are not well kept but regardless you can still have a good experience ranging from swimming in the water and going on a hike and spotting the deers. I would highly recommend this place. Picnic areas are also available and accesible.

Incredible experience. I purchased a gift certificate for my husband and brother in law for Christmas. They operated both the excavator and bulldozer. The experience was seamless from booking to scheduling to day of. The operators had tons of fun and had sufficient time to get the hang of each piece of equipment. The instructor Dave was knowledgeable and very well versed in his guidance. As spectators, we were very comfortable. There are covered picnic tables at each equipment stop - each well positions for close up views of the action. The spot is an easy drive from Dallas. All around highly recommend!

Extreme Sandbox is a place you can do extreme things with large construction vehicles. Ever wondered what it feels like to drive heavy machinery? Well wonder no further with Extreme Sandbox! I went with my best friend and he had a great time there. There are several vehicles that one can use to push things or even destroy them. Their is the option of the Wheeler Loader, Excavator, and Bulldozer. The staff was very professional and nice. A headset is given to the operator of the vehicle and the guide helps them through the process. The operator guide, directs the operators so there is no chance of an accident happening as long as you listen to the operators. There is also air conditioning in the construction vehicles as well. One of the great things about them is they have package deals as well. And one could potentially go with a group as well. Another cool aspect about the Extreme Sandbox package deals is that you even have the opportunity of destroying a vehicle if you would like to do that. Family and friends are also allowed to view the vehicles outside if they want to watch you operate a large vehicle. It's not an everyday thing where you can just drive a bulldozer or excavator. So if you ever dreamed of doing something like that, I would highly recommend Extreme Sandbox!

Got a package for my husband for our anniversary. He had an amazing time, and can't wait to go back. His instructor was Zac, and he was so talented. He spent all day there and said he was never bored. There was stuff to do that was equally challenging and fun. Highly suggest going. There are also places for families to sit and observe. Our 10 month old son had lots of fun watching!

This was so much fun!! My wife got me a gift certificate for my birthday and, because I didn’t want to have all the fun, we upgraded—dueling excavators! Really great fun. Only kinda wish we’d done two pieces of equipment. The excavator is awesome, but now I want to try the bulldozer. I’m thinking we’ll be back.
A.J. T — Google review
We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday yesterday! They did a good job with the mini-training session and allowing the guests to have some freedom to really explore the equipment and enjoy themselves! This smile says it all!
Dee B — Google review
This was an terrific experience. The instructors were super helpful and quickly got us up to speed. We ran the excavator and the loader. It was not as hard as expected but took a while to get the hang of it. Good spots for spectators and I enjoyed watching the kids almost as much as driving the machines.

BIG BIRTHDAY SURPRISE! This year for my Birthday Jessica told me she had a big surprise for me, but wouldn’t tell me what it was! I literally had no idea what it was going to be but when we got there it was EXTREME SANDBOX!!! This is business that lets you PLAY with genuine Komatsu construction equipment!!! I’ve always been wanted to do this since I saw a similar concept in Las Vegas, Jessica took a mental note and had been planning the surprise! She bought me the “Excavator Package” which is 60 minutes in a Komatsu PC-290! This thing was so powerful and fun to play with! It cut through the dirt like BUTTER and made it seem nearly effortless to dig a huge hole. Controlling the excavator is a lot like a 30 ton RC car, or makes a lot of sense once you get going. The precision on the bucket was so good I was able to knock tennis balls off of cones, play basketball with the teeth, and even PICK UP A CADILLAC! I also got to drive the machine around obstacles, up and down hills etc. It’s like a tank! The weather was VERY cold hit luckily for me the inside of the cab was climate controlled, and I was even wearing a headset where the instructor could help tell me what to do. They even gave Jessica a headset too so she could listen in on the fun! This was a AWESOME gift idea and I would absolutely recommended it to anyone who was ever curious what operating heavy equipment was like. If you’ve ever fantasized about “goofing off” in a massive piece of machinery then this is the first experience for you! I’ll never forget my 38th Birthday!!! Awesome! Thank you Jessica! 🎉
Jared G — Google review
Extreme Sandbox is an awesome experience!! My friend and I went and shared the Ultimate Sandbox package, and we already want to go back. Dave was awesome to work with. We were on the excavators and bulldozers. We had multiple head to head competitions, for technical skill and speed. You have a headset which is connected to your friend's headset as well as the employees, this made communication easy and fun while working the equipment. The time flew by so fast. I highly recommend Extreme Sandbox, it is worth the money!

Visitors can enjoy interactive activities or explore the different trails offered in the sanctuary. The museum also boasts a collection of live animals such as lemurs and raccoons, making it an ideal destination for families with kids who are interested in wildlife.
Had the best experience with our grandkids, they are three and five and it was a great day of much needed nature and adventure. They loved the bugs exhibit, we hiked 4 miles worth of beautiful trails and they played in the village of tiny houses. There were butterflies everywhere and beautiful wild flowers along the trails. We packed a picnic and had lunch by the pond. Clean restrooms, cute indoor exhibits, outdoor classes and little gift shop.
Sheri L — Google review
It was amazing! I had a great time! The trails are so beautiful, and the museum is very kid friendly. The butterfly exhibit was gorgeous. Its a pretty easy trail to take if you're just getting into hiking/walking trails. There's a bit of up and down, but its very clearly marked. The employees were all very kind and well educated. I do hope they get a little friend for the racoon, though!
Stephanie L — Google review
Oh my gosh! What fun! It was a beautiful day, there was a cool breeze and lots of parents and their children looking at the magnificent Bugs Live displays throughout the beautiful nature center, the kiddos buzzing with excitement!! Some of the bugs, were automated and so fascinating... Keep in mind the butterfly exhibit will be open next week... Remember sunscreen and insect repellent... The exhibit will be on display until June 29th, 2025... You won't be disappointed!
MissBec — Google review
Had a good time exploring the area today and it was free entry this weekend if we brought plastic bags! I wasn't expecting to see foxes and stuff so that was cool.
Terra W — Google review
We went for Bug's Live. It was a decent size trail for the event specially with little kids. Not all the bugs moved or made noises but kids still loved it. Staff was very friendly. The museum itself was decent size. Not huge but so many great things to look at! Gift shop was nice as well. Kids had to leave with something lol not too expensive compared to other places. We loved it. We traveled 30 mins to get there and would do it again! Plus all the flowers were beautiful along the trail.
Mrs R — Google review
great park for kids to explore all kinds of fossils and native texas animals up close, I enjoyed the wood paved trails since no one was on it and it was extremely easy to walk. this is maybe a one and done type place
Tony D — Google review
Adventure day for the week. Choose Heard Natural Science Museum and it was a great choice. Plenty of sights to see and places to explore. The kiddo and I had a blast with all the insect displays and indoor Museum. Will definitely be returning.
Vincent G — Google review
I really had a great time going with the family. We've been there before when they had the dinosaur exhibit, and it was just as fun walking through the trails and getting to see the sculptures and animatronics. The trails let's you connect with nature. Parking was a bit busy and a little small, but we were able to find a spot fairly quickly.

New machines are nice. Pay varied by time and area, but they weren't super tight. Beverage stations stay fairly clean, but there aren't nearly enough. Same with bathrooms. Only saw one cocktail waitress while we were there and the wait time at bars could use some improvement. Players club rewards have dropped significantly. With Choctaw and Megastar just as close for us, Winstar will unfortunately become an occasional visit spot. Staff and food at Chips and Ale are still the best to be found, though!

Fantastic night and could not of enjoyed myself more great place to see bands we had a great night all seats are great to see the stage so it does not matter where you sit the bars were quick so not waiting too long for service highly recommend seeing acts here and great for din er before hand too.

This casino is so huge and vast with many entrances. You will see live music at few bars which gives a good enthusiasm to the surroundings. I found the single bottled beer prices were a bit high. Also, the Black Jack is more popular game here. 💵♣️♠️♦️♥️🃏 Easy way to redeem cash from the lottery game tickets at the kiosks.
Pavan — Google review
I will NEVER come back! Paid a lot of money for Kevin Hart tickets only to find out that when you get there they lock your phone in a bag where you can't check it or use it. This is dangerous! People have emergencies and may need to check their phone. This is an overreach! Other theaters do not do this. Because of this I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Horrible experience.
Lisa00 — Google review
Great venue for a comedy show. Very friendly staff both on the floor and at the bar. My only complaint, and it’s not a huge one, is the seats. Not super comfortable.
Ian R — Google review
It was a very nice venue however, I only gave it 🌟 🌟 🌟 because the seats were so close together you literally had no elbow room. We had pretty decent seats too but nowhere near the front. They have "big screen" TVs for those of us who can't afford the primo tickets but you really couldn't appreciate what was happening on stage because those supposedly "big screens" were poor quality and actually NOT big enough for the rest of the audience to truly enjoy (our favorite comedian, Ron White). Thank goodness the audio was on target.

WinStar World Casino

WinStar World Casino and Resort is a massive casino complex that offers a modern and spacious environment for gaming enthusiasts. The resort features an array of dining options, shops, a golf course, and an outdoor pool. Visitors can expect a seamless flow throughout the facility with numerous restaurant choices strategically placed around the resort. The casino boasts a wide selection of games including traditional table games like poker and blackjack as well as the latest slot machines with exciting bonus features.
My recent visit to WinStar World Casino was nothing short of amazing. As one of the largest casinos in the world, it immediately impresses you with its size and variety. The gaming floor is massive, filled with endless slot machines, exciting table games, and themed areas that make exploring the casino a fun experience in itself. Whether you’re new to gaming or an experienced player, there’s something here for everyone. What stood out to me most was the atmosphere and service. The casino had a lively yet welcoming vibe, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. Everything was clean and well-organized despite the huge crowd, which really showed how well the place is managed. Another highlight was the dining and entertainment options. From casual restaurants to fine dining, there were plenty of food choices, and the bars and lounges added to the vibrant atmosphere. The entertainment shows were a perfect addition, making the trip feel more like a complete getaway than just a casino visit. With its comfortable hotel rooms and relaxing amenities, WinStar offers both excitement and comfort. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience, and I highly recommend it.

My wife and I love to go to this casino. We stay at the hotel and stay at least 2 nights. I've seen reviews about people saying, "the water is too soft", but this is one of the reason's we love to stay here. The softness of the water is next level amazing. To say it's too soft is to say, "I prefer my showers to have dirt mixed with the water". The food is good, the service is good and they have non-smoking areas!!!
Todd V — Google review
Nice and large casino. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Had an issue with one roulette machine. It was charging $5 per bet when you selected $1. I cashed out and try to redeem my ticket but the machine wouldn’t take it. Had to go to a cashier and wait on a manager to redeem my ticket. Kind of a pain. Later found another roulette machine that was broken as well. Saw several slot machines throughout that were out of order. So be aware of that and watch your bets. The Bingo hall was fun, but most of the machines were pretty tight. Not surprisingly as it is a casino after all. Overall had a good time. Drinks weren’t terribly expensive and all the restaurants we ate at were good.
C H — Google review
Great place! Rooms are always clean and comfy. Staff are nice and helpful. Food is good. The only thing is sometimes at the buffet the food isn't kept hot. Mine was at the Asian side and it was warm so I didn't eat it because I know about temp control on holding foods. Over all it was a good place to eat. Player rewards are always good!
Nikki R — Google review
Win or lose.. Either way we always have a great time when we visit here! They always offer great rewards toward complimentary hotel stay and bonus plays for card members. Staff do a great job keeping games sanitized and clean. Security is always on point makeing the experience safe and enjoyable. We love comeing here for a short "get away from it all' trip. Thank you to start for your hard work. Your efforts make Windstar my go to place for fun enjoyable entertainment and a top notch hotel stay 👍💕🍻💰😉

WInstar used to be my happy place for almost a decade. Not anymore. Every visit this year has been more disappointing than the last. Slots are set to not pay out anymore. Comps are terrible and time sensitive. Food options are limited and most of them an insult if you are used to good food. It is just a huge hall filled with too many machines. There is just no vibe and people look miserable, including staff. W and Casino Hotel towers have constant water issues , so you don't know if you will be taking a cold shower again. Outlets and lights are often not working. Winstar, you have to do better if you want to keep your loyal regulars. Maybe you just don't care anymore because greed has taken over.

This is the most unique casino I have ever seen. I did not know you could walk so far in a casino and not even be half-way through it. Despite being jam-packed, there were always places to sit down and play. It did however, very rapidly eat my whole entertainment budget I set up for gambling with 0 bonuses, 0 excitement - but, that is really just the luck of the draw with gambling. You should only go with the intent for entertainment, never to win. While it may not have been gambling-entertainment, the facility itself was a wild experience to visit.

I recently spent a weekend at Winstar Casino, and while I have to commend the hotel for its good service, my experience at the casino itself was quite disappointing. Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which set a positive tone for our stay. However, once we stepped into the casino, that warm experience quickly faded. While my friends and I were enjoying ourselves at the slots and tables, we encountered an unsettling atmosphere. The staff seemed to wear constant fake smiles, but it was clear that genuine hospitality was lacking. On one occasion, we were having a good time cheering for our wins and tipping the dealers, only to be approached and told to tone it down. It was disheartening to be told we could no longer drink, as we were simply trying to celebrate our fun moments. After being temporarily kicked out for being "too loud," we were grateful to be allowed back in the next day. Unfortunately, the negative experience continued. We felt as if we were under constant scrutiny, with several staff members giving us disapproving looks. One waitress even made a comment about our previous visit, implying that we were troublemakers. This left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable, especially since we had acted respectfully and left the casino when asked. Overall, my experience at Winstar Casino was marred by unkind staff attitudes that overshadowed the fun we were trying to have. Despite the good service at the hotel, the negative interactions in the casino made this one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a casino. I believe the atmosphere would greatly improve if the staff adopted a more positive attitude towards guests just looking to have a good time.

My family and I recently visited from Texas and had a great time! The ladies running the nature center were seriously so AMAZING!! They were incredibly kind, informative and fun!! We participated in a scavenger hunt around the center and the tower. We were able to see and hold a snake and the giant salamander also! My kids absolutely loved it and it’s something we will definitely remember for a lifetime. The classroom had so many awesome things to look at and learn about. We will for sure be back!

Excellent facility with all kinds of photos, taxidermy, displays of natural science and surrounding area artifacts. Beautifully constructed architecture married with amazing rock formations and water.

Be prepared for a little bit of a walk but it's a beautiful, well maintained walk full of native flowers and fun objects placed in the trees & gardens. Tucker Tower was built to be a governor's getaway but never was used that way. It was a nature center for a while but now it's basically a Lake Murray history museum because a new nature center was built, which you'll see when you start your hike to the tower. The mastodon skull is fascinating! The spiral staircase has been replaced with a more traditional staircase, so the tower is more easily accessible. Take your camera!

Tucker tower is an awesome stop while at Lake Murray State Park. Beautiful views and the sweet young lady working inside was AMAZING! She was so informative and so nice to our family. She showed us their snakes and made the experience ever better. The tower has lots of steps but it’s an easy hike. Tucker tower is 💯 worth it.

A must experience! If you have not gotten to walk up into the tower and overlook the lake, you are missing out. The exhibits were also a neat addition to look over and learn about nature and the building of the tower.

It's a nice tower view! I feel bad for the turtle it seems bored and sad without a big enough tank and things to do, kinda wanted to release it to nature 😢 Nice workers! Otherwise 5/5 stop.

Turner Falls Park

Nature & Parks
Turner Falls Park in Davis, Oklahoma is a natural wonderland featuring the state's tallest waterfall at 77 feet. The park offers a refreshing swimming hole, sandy beaches, and a rock castle to explore. Visitors can also discover natural caves, hiking trails, cabins, campsites, and RV sites. While there is an entrance fee, the park uses it to maintain and enhance its facilities. Families can enjoy nature hikes and cooling off in the swimming area during summer months.
Great stay! We were in Bunkhouse 4, which included a private bathhouse just behind us. The bunkhouse and bathrooms were clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. We locked ourselves out at one point and staff was very quick to respond. There was an endless amount of spots to swim and set up picnic. It was pretty crowded during the day, which is pretty normal for a weekend visit, but very quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Would definitely recommend for a family outing. Don’t forget your water shoes! (But if you do, there’s a gift shop with overpriced ones).
Bre R — Google review
I'd give Turner Falls in Oklahoma 3 stars. While it's a beautiful spot with a stunning 77-foot waterfall, I felt it was overpriced, especially considering the crowds and maintenance issues. The park's natural beauty is undeniable, with crystal-clear water, lush greenery, and unique rock formations . However, the sheer number of visitors makes it feel more like a theme park than a serene natural oasis. I visited during peak season, and the crowds were overwhelming. In terms of maintenance, I noticed that some areas of the park could use some TLC. The castle, Collings Castle. That being said, there are some redeeming qualities. The park offers various outdoor activities, such as hiking, swimming, and fishing, which are perfect for families and adventure-seekers. The scenic hiking trails, including the Fire Break Trail, Honey Creek Trail, and Two Mile Trail, provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. If you're planning to visit, consider going during the off-season or weekdays to avoid the crowds. Be prepared for the prices, which is about $20 per person, plus extra fees and taxes.. depending on the time of year and your age. Overall, while Turner Falls has its flaws, it's still a unique and beautiful destination worth visiting – just be aware of what to expect.

My family rented a bunkhouse and it was nice the beds are a little harder than expected but it was new mattress and was not worn in yet. The bath house was nice and the privacy was amazing. A little more clean up on the trails is needed due to disrespectful people not following the rules of no glass bottles. But I completely understand they are off season and limited staff. We did see three amazing young adults doing there best to keep the park clean. All the staff was completely amazing and the young lady in the trading room was very sweet and helpful

Stayed 1 night in a new covered wagon. Approx $235 after taxes, fees and $6 half price entry. Online booking does not extend senior discount. Looking forward to peace and quiet in nature with some hiking. Unfortunately, there were a group of off road 4 wheel vehicles that drove around till 1am despite park rules for quiet hours after 10p. Next day, went exploring. “Hiking trails” not clearly marked. Also ran into several off road vehicles exiting 2 mile trail while parking to hike. Decided against for safety reasons. Disappointed only park staff accessible was at the entry gate. Accommodations and facilities were nice. Old trash visible on some overlooks and Creekside areas.

We stayed for 2 nights in our travel trailer October 7-9. Very few people at the park. It was very clean! The RV area with hookups was in excellent shape and easy to get into/out of. It is first come first serve and they do not assign RV spots. If you want to go and have the place to yourself-go on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in October! Beautiful area!

Turner Falls is one of Oklahoma’s greatest natural treasures — a place of incredible history, unique geology, and breathtaking beauty in the Arbuckle Mountains. But right now, it’s being torn apart. The park’s management continues to neglect what truly matters — the roads, the historic stone buildings, the bathrooms, and the wildlife — while pouring money into unsafe, cheaply made “new attractions.” The tepees they keep promoting have been put up and taken down repeatedly by untrained teenage lifeguards instead of qualified builders, leaving guests with unsafe, unstable rentals without proper rain guards or structural support that often need refunds. It’s not only irresponsible — it’s dangerous. It’s also deeply culturally insensitive to local Indigenous tribes, and yet the park profits off these inaccurate, disrespectful displays while ignoring the real history of this land. Meanwhile, admission, parking, and camping fees keep climbing, but almost none of that money goes back into maintaining or preserving the park itself. The city continues to let this place decay while treating it like a cash grab, not the natural landmark it is. Turner Falls deserves protection and respect. It’s part of Oklahoma’s identity and one of our state’s most remarkable pieces of natural beauty — something all Oklahomans should be fighting to preserve, not watching get stripped away piece by piece. If you love this park or this state, speak up. Ask where the money is going. Demand better. Turner Falls should be cared for, not sold out. This is our home!

Do not come here if you're looking for a pleasant primitive camping and/or hiking experience!! The campsites and most of the facilities are very poorly maintained, most campsites have trash in the firepits and are lacking amenities such as tables and grills. The very few trails there are not worth the cost of admission to the park. Overall absurdly overpriced. Also, several of the people already at the park when we arrived were playing loud music from their vehicles with no regard to those around them. We decided not to stay the night (even though we paid $180 for everything) and instead drove an extra two hours to Wichita Mountains Wildlife Preserve, which was absolutely worthwhile.
Clint — Google review
I would agree with the mixed reviews...$15 to visit (solo) on a Sunday morning in October. Basically you can park to view the waterfall and the castles. Worth $15, no. I definitely would not visit to view waterfall if during swimming months unless that is what you are doing. Not a serene nature spot. Unsightly blue trash cans everywhere. Parking lot maitenence not the greatest. Visit the free, but distant, overlook off the highway for the best view.

Arbuckle Wilderness Park is a sprawling 400-acre wildlife habitat where visitors can embark on self-drive car tours through the safari park. The park is home to over 200 free-roaming animals, including ostriches, zebras, giraffes, llamas, and donkeys. Visitors have the opportunity to feed these exotic animals from their car windows using feed buckets available for purchase at the entrance.
We went today and had the best time! It was our first time and we enjoyed every moment of it. The roads are a little rough but the animals made up for it. We all agreed the donkeys were the most entertaining! We laughed so hard at them and their personalities! The animals know what’s going on, they came right up and would eat from our cups. However the donkeys made you stop…they would walk straight at the front of the car (head on) to make you stop so they could get their foods! Loved them! The giraffe was so precious! It was sweet and gentle. All the animals looked well! The gift shop had lots of items to look at! We will definitely go again!

This is a fantastic drive thru animal experience. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding all the animals which even includes a giraffe and zebras. They also have a white tiger though you obviously can't feed it. We had four adults in our group and bought the largest food package but we definitely wished we had bought two. It was a wonderful experience!
Terri N — Google review
I was expecting more. The roads are rough and 90% of the animals are llamas and miniture donkeys. 1 white tiger away from the road in a cage. 1 giraffe away from the street in a cage. 2 white wolfs away from the street in a cage. 2 little kangaroos away from the street in a cage. And a few other animals. Drove 3 hours to come here but we not impressed.
Gwen F — Google review
During a short getaway to Oklahoma, we decided to stop by a drive-thru wilderness park for a little adventure. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but the excitement built as we watched all kinds of cars and trucks heading through. The road inside was a bit rough with a few potholes, but the experience made it worth it. I brought along my 5-year-old travel buddy, who, at first, seemed curious but quickly changed her mind once we started feeding the animals. There were dozens of them—some gentle, others a bit too eager, all just after the feed cups we were given. Once she got a whiff of the animals and saw the drool dripping from their mouths, she was officially done and rolled her window up for the rest of the ride. I, on the other hand, had a blast feeding the donkeys, who were by far the most persistent—chasing the car for snacks! We also saw majestic arctic wolves and a beautiful white tiger cooling off in the water. Bison and zebras roamed freely, making it a wild, memorable experience despite my daughter’s less-than-impressed attitude.

After reading reviews, we weren't entirely sure how this attraction would turn out. Here are our thoughts after going through it with our kids. Lots of animals in number and variety, though llamas, deer, and donkeys seem to be the most in number. The llamas and donkeys definitely understand that food comes out of vehicle windows and aggressively seek to be fed, haha. Some of the animals are in cages/pens (i.e. the tiger, wolves, hyena, camel, rhino, some goats), but most are free-ranging. You'll find the aforementioned critters, plus others like bison, water buffalo, ostriches, goats/sheep, cattle, some antelope, and geese. It's worth the $6 to get 3 cups of feed. I failed to check the distance of the drive in the park, but it felt like at least 3-4 miles, so ration your food out. The more uncommon animals were on the back part of the drive. The road condition ranges from fair to very rough. There are many areas with large potholes and sections where the pavement has washed away - dodging these bad patches can feel like doing a slalom. We took our minivan and did scrape once or twice despite my best efforts. Some of the animals looked to be in poor condition. The park has clearly seen better days as evidenced by the general state of disrepair and the several side-attractions that are not in current use... but it did look like there may be some ongoing attempt to restore some of them. It was neat, but a little pricey. Been there, done that, not sure that I would go back unless it had some major overhaul.
Jamison F — Google review
Very nice gift shop and friendly staff. The animals and roads were a lot less desirable. We actually felt sorry for the big kat, wolves and Rhino. We also noticed an animal limping and after looking close, his nail was overgrown and hurting him. Don't get me wrong, I was glad to see them and help feed them, but I think they need to plant more food and fix the roads.
Jo N — Google review
I love the experience of getting to interact with the animals! They seem well cared for for the most part, but the more exotic animals seemed restless and could use company, as they were kept alone in their enclosure. Specifically the giraffe and white tiger. The gift shop and roads seemed in disrepair and could use some attention. Its is a local attraction and a must see if youre looking for a day trip or want some playful harassment from friendly animals.
Tara M — Google review
It is fun but it's a long slow drive. Much longer than we expected. I would really really like if they had some kind of signs as you're driving to tell you how much further you had to go. That way you could ration your food out. Towards the end we had some donkeys running alongside our car and I felt bad that we were out of food. Also wouldn't mind a "shortcut" to exit in case you have a child who gets fussy or has a dirty diaper or just in case you're ready to go. Would like to see the go carts back in action. Be aware there are multiple inclines and declines along the trail as well as some deep potholes. Definitely would not bring a fairly new car here. We learned that the hard way. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Beautiful place! Can you imagine so much water in Oklahoma in August! Great place to relax and the Rangers are super knowledgeable. Gift shop is cute just wish it was bigger.

This is a great spot to stretch your legs and enjoy a short hike during a road trip. The park rangers were very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the short trail next to the natural visitor center, which leads to a pond. It was lovely to experience nature, and we even spotted a few different types of dragonflies. Overall, it's a very pleasant place to visit and appreciate the outdoors. Plenty of parking the day we visited.

Great place to visit and enjoy the day with family and friends. Plenty of spots to get into the water. Little Niagara is a Hotspot and might be crowded during holidays. Many trails to explore.

Great job maintaining these trails. It has been 7 years since I hiked them and it looks just as good as it did before with no obstructions or degradation in the forest from all the people. This place is always overpacked on the weekends. But it is a true gem in Oklahoma with crystal clear waters. Beware it stays cold, but is swimmable. Not all guests are nice, there are a lot of people that seem to be there to party or cause problems, I've never seen a nature area so packed. They have rangers guiding people how to park since people can't figure it on their own I guess, that's awkward. The trails are extremely easy, unless you take the long loop around the whole area. No tough spots if you are in any type of shape. There is also a couple nearby lakes if you are having problems finding camping. The camp spots are tiny.

I can't wait to return! Camped in Loop C, enjoyed the nice big pad and view. I want to primitive camp in Loop A. Travertine Nature Center was a lovely walk with springs and interesting CCC works. We need to come back and explore what they offer inside. Enjoyed the bison, kayaking on the lake, and found good food in Sulphur! Enjoyed prairie horseback trails with wonderful vistas near Rock Creek. Bromide Hill has an impressive lookout. Chickasaw Cultural Center is a must visit as well as visiting all the mineral springs.

The Chickasaw Cultural Center, located in Sulphur, Oklahoma, offers a fascinating exploration of Chickasaw culture and heritage. The center features exhibits, galleries, and outdoor recreations of a village that provide an immersive experience of traditional life. Visitors can witness daily performances and learn about the history through real artifacts and interactive displays.
Me and the family visited the Chickasaw Cultural Center on a recent trip as we want our kids to learn all the history not just one side or what was said out of one book. This center was great! The staff was all friendly especially dealing with our crazy kids they taught our kids how to play stickball and even played with them! We also learned about the stomp dances among many other things. The food area we had was amazing I cannot recommend the Venison stew highly enough! It was amazingly tasty and tender. Ive eaten a-lot of venison in my life and this has to be the best I’ve had! I also had the buffalo burger which tasted great aswell! The entire center was beautiful and educational I highly suggest you stop and learn the history!

The cultural center offers scenic views of southern Oklahoma and provides a worthy tribute to the rich history of the Chickasaw Nation. The center includes an impressive replica of a traditional Chickasaw village. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional stomp dance performance, which is scheduled throughout the day. There are multiple employees throughout the museum and exhibits that offer helpful insights during the visit. It’s also near the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and the Artesian. Great for families and adults. Everything is free except the museum.

What a beautiful space, inside and out. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the grounds, village, spiral garden, over the bridge, and through the various buildings. What a wonderful place to celebrate Chickasaw culture!

This is a beautiful center. We went for the Toompalli festival, and they had many activities for the children. It was very sobering to go through the exhibit. It is one thing to read about what the government put the Native Americans through, quite another to read letters from the children and then see one of the barber chairs where they sat while hair was cut off. I can only compare it to my walk through the Holocaust museum. There are no words to describe the profound effect it had on me, How could this happen? Therefore, I was delighted to see the young people dance. New generations to carry on the traditions of their people. To have pride in who they are. Everyone there was very kind and I would love to go there again. The weather was turning,so we were not able to go through the village, or the butterfly garden The terrain could be taxing for some, so they have trams that will pick you up in the parking area, and take you to your desired destination. Beautiful theatre, great cafe. A must see if you are in the area.

Great stop for a fun time for almost all ages. If you like collections, comics, movies, action series, action figures you can spend a LOT of time here. It has more to it every time I have visited. Highly recommend!

I've been to some nice toy collections, but this gem is a must. The crew are very nice, and if you're lucky, you can catch the owner. He knows everything about his inventory, and can take you right to an item anywhere in this museum. I spent 3 hours and made 3 trips around the museum, each time finding things I had missed before. Also, they rotate displays with back room stock to keep everything fresh. I found the museum on a long trek, making a 1 week arc from the South. It's a bit of a drive from my home town, but I will be going back. Don't miss it. Even if you have to go a little out of your way, just go ahead and stop by. You won't be disappointed if you have any interest in toys of all kinds, from all generations.

This collection is a must see! My family (including my notably nostalgic husband) were all completely blown away, not only by the sheer number of toys but how creatively they were displayed in scenes. This museum was wonderful fun, with scavenger hunts and about every interesting thing you could possibly wish to see. Bravo!

A whimsical wonderful way to connect with one’s inner child! We had such a lovely time seeing the incredible collection and even got to play treasure hunt with the man who started the museum. It was a truly magical day for us that won’t ever be forgotten. Thank you for keeping the magic of childhood alive for us all.

My family and I was excited to visit this Super Awesome Museum of action figures. When we arrived unknowingly the museum was closed due to winter hours. So we still observed the wonderful displays from the window. Luckily, this nice gentleman appeared out of nowhere and began to say to us, as we was observing this picture of various supermen, “Nice isn’t it??” I was like of course it’s all the Supermen ever!! He proceeded and says “ I know, Because Im the owner and I created the picture.” We was amazed. Even though they we closed he allowed us to enter..this place is unexplainable. Perfectly established.. Trust me you will be amazed!!! Also thank you again for gifting the kiddos toys.

I’ve been to this establishment 3 times now and I never get tired of it! This was the first time our youngest was able to visit and he was very impressed - mostly with the ride on cars! :) The vast array of memorabilia and nostalgia just brings such joy to my 80s kid heart. The displays are fabulous and you can spend hours just looking at them all. The last time we were there several years ago the big “room” was Batman themed but I was pleasantly surprised to find it filled with Star Wars this go round! I recommend this establishment to anyone who is a movie fan, tv fan, pop culture fan, 80s nerd, collector, a breathing person. It’s just great and really makes your inner child giddy. Bring quarters for the ride on machines if you have little ones in tow. The front includes a shop with reasonably priced toys to take home!

Interactive kids' exhibits include a mini-hospital, a courtroom, an art studio & a climbing maze.
If you’re looking for a fun place that’s close and not too expensive to keep the kids occupied this so definitely the place for you. The kids have endless exhibits to keep them occupied inside and out. The great thing is there is enough to see and do that repeat visits will be just as fun as the first. The best part was the interactive game room they have!

This place is amazing! The kids had an absolute blast. So many fun things to do inside and outside. The inside was multiple sections and each section had unique areas. There was a camping area, Dino dig, Main Street had all kinds of imagination areas (grocery store, nursery, construction zone, auto shop, art zone, etc), a work out area, build a bug, and even more upstairs! Outside has lots of different activities that include animals, like you can read with the dog Maggie and that was a huge hit! Also a sensory garden, couple play sets, and a maze. The train ride was quick but pretty. Our group loved the free STEM activity. This had something for everyone! Our group had kids from one to 13 and they all had a great time here (the parents as well!). We can’t wait to go back!

This was a wonderful museum and the outside part makes it even better! There's lots to do even after a heavy rain. My children were 7 and 8 and the science was lost on them but they were very entertained. I think they absorbed a lot through osmosis. On a Friday once the school busses left, we had the place mostly to ourselves. It was very crowded at 10:30, by comparison.
Justin W — Google review
Missed the whole outside feature. Staff didn't even mention it when we entered, no map was given. Happily it was very career oriented. Kids had fun.

First off, I'm a truck driver. Amazing place. They really care about drivers. Plenty of parking. Nicest staff and let me be very clear....they have some of the best wings and pizza I've ever had. The machines were pretty good to my wife and me too. Definitely a must stop

Ashley greeted us with a warm welcoming smile. She's a keeper. Room was clean comfortable and the bed was comfortable and cozy. ( It got a little chilly that first night) We checked in at 8pm on Thursday evening and spent two days in the area. Food at Coal Creek restaurant in the casino was great. Didn't hit any jackpots but held our own.

The drawers in the room dont stay closed, the refrigerator door is hard to open they dont clean your room unless you stay longer than 3 days. I had to ask for wash clothes and blankets. I've had better stays at a days in.

I came with an RV to park with an electric hookup, but they had an event yesterday and hadn’t reopened the RV area yet. So 4 instead of 5 stars. But everyone was very kind in this small, yet classy, casino. It is NOT non-smoking (seriously??) but the HVAC must move the air around enough that it wasn’t bad at all. The sound of the truck engines idling and highway noise might bother some, but it was fine IMO. White noise. A much nicer level clientele than the casino 5 minutes away. And won $50 also!
Denise P — Google review
Husband and wife truckers used to come but hadn't been able to for awhile was looking forward of coming back and spending a few days gambling and dining. Went to truckers lounge to find out no free services for truckers anymore or for discounts. 10$ +tax for each of us to shower no showing in same allowed and the same for laundry is not reasonable nor trucker frendly. I had about 6 months ago suggested this place for an event that our corporate has which lasts 2 days. Due to your policy changes that I am sure won't be happening and we left without even going into the casino. What a shame really felt special. Sorry to inform you won't be coming again. Understand that sometimes you need to charge something but you have went off the scale on this one. It is not reasonable. 😫
Laura B — Google review
When most people go to a casino, they are going to lose their money on the games. Usually this negative part of the experience is padded by the availability of GOOD FOOD and drinks. These casino owners seem to have not figured that part out. The drinks are weak and expensive and the food is an absolute JOKE. Its basically middle school cafeteria food at 4 star prices and the woman who works the kitchen is rude.
Mister M — Google review
Had a nice time at this casino. Nice spot for a trucker since there are plenty of spots. Trucker lounge is conveniently located to casino. The pizza was good and plenty of slots. I just wish there were bigger payouts and I won the Mega
The C — Google review
Rooms and hotel are great. Casino and bars are terrible. We used to come here all the time for concerts and the after party. We went to a concert tonight. It was great! The after party was terrible. No bar with any music. Then they time you between drinks. Literally 30 minutes between drinks. We had friends that left and went to Downstream because it was so bad. Me, and my group will not be back. So disappointing! I was wondering why it was so dead and I quickly found out why. Sad 😞

Dude, Cory! Thank you for our first ever cave experience! Without a doubt will tell everyone about this and encourage them to come. Absolutely chill experience. Very educated tour guide. Beautiful business run by the original family and we love supporting! Cool gift shop with AC. Clean bathrooms. Museum was cool too. Thanks for the best time!

We stopped in at the Bluff Dwellers Cave on a Thursday to celebrate our anniversary on a little out-of-town trip! It was a great experience! Cory, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and fun! He had great history on the cave and humorous jokes along the way! It was neat to see such a marvel in nature! I recommend the experience!

What an amazing cavern you can spend a couple hours in. Cory our tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to questions and answer them. The cavern is well maintained and easy to tour through. Lots of minerals to look at, and amazing places to take pictures. If you’re considering touring this, do yourself a favor and make the leap and go!

We went yesterday for Mother's Day and had a fantastic time. Cory was the best tour guide I've ever had. He was funny, engaging, and extremely welcoming. The cave itself was phenomenal. My mom who basically just agrees to go inside caves because her autistic child thinks they're cool even ranted about how much she enjoyed it. I highly suggest visiting.

We loved the tour! The cave was so cool! Michaela was very knowledgeable and personable. She was able to answer all the questions we asked. She seems to love her job! We brought our granddaughters 15&11) and they told us it was their favorite thing we did in their trip. 🎉😊 We’ll be back with other family members sometime soon.

This cave is amazing! Such a great place to explore and tour the cave. The staff are friendly and professional. I still can't believe this was my first visit, as I have floated the Elk River many times. So be sure to add this to your itinerary, whether you're just passing through, or coming to float the river. Definitely a family friendly destination.

I can’t remember our tour guides name yesterday evening but he was AMAZING!!! He knew so much info both past and present about the cave. Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel

Mildred B Cooper Chapel is one of the prettiest places I have ever been. As a photographer and videographer that is here quite often for weddings, the space is absolutely gorgeous and features amazing architecture, stunning natural light, a large amount of seating and an easily navigable parking lot and trails for walking. The Chapel manager is great to work with and the overall cleanliness and care of the chapel is immaculate. You will not regret booking your event here!
Bethany S — Google review
This chapel has to be the most gorgeous venue I’ve ever photographed for a wedding. As a photographer who sees many venues, this one has to be my favorite. It’s beautiful and serene and there is plenty of space while still being intimate. The lighting coming in is an absolute must for photos. It is maintained very well, very clean and the staff was helpful.
Bailee L — Google review
The Mildred B. Cooper Chapel is an absolute dream to photograph. The breathtaking architecture and the storybook-like wooded paths make it one of the most inspiring locations I get to create with my couples. If you’re looking for a truly magical backdrop for your wedding, this chapel is a must-see!
Sara W — Google review
The best wedding destination I could have asked for! The chapel was absolutely surreal, with beautiful, intricate design. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the pricing was very affordable. We rented it for several hours for our ceremony. They offer a rehearsal, which we highly recommend. The chapel is air conditioned and has a bluetooth system which you can use with your devices to play music for all occasions. There is an optional microphone and a piano. Thank you for hosting us and giving us a fairytale wedding! Bonus: If you are planning your wedding, I can't recommend enough, the Table at Hickory Inn as your reception area and 3twenty Photography for the photos!
Dimitri T — Google review
Clean, easy to get to, and paved! There is no gate so you technically can visit after hours but the chapel is closed at 5pm and for any private events. This chapel and another were on my bucket list to visit and we are not disappointed

Absolutely stunning and beautiful chapel. Friends son was married there last year. Surrounded by trees. Easy parking, slight walk but handicap accessible.

Absolutely beautiful place! My sister got married here last fall and it was gorgeous! It was the perfect place to visit in Arkansas. If we’re ever back in Arkansas, we may stop by here and visit it again.
Maddie H — Google review
I booked the chapel for a one hour Monday elopement. It can book up quickly so make sure to reserve your date early. (When I called in February there were only 2 dates available the whole month of June). The process was very simple. I was looking for a venue that was low key but felt special since it would be just the two of us and my teen daughter. It was a wonderful experience and the space was just as lovely and picturesque as I imagined it would be. This is a wonderful option for people looking for a low key but beautiful elopement.

Grand Falls

Waterfalls
Grand Falls, Missouri's largest continuously flowing waterfall, is a breathtaking natural wonder located in Joplin. The falls cascade over a 163-ft.-wide ledge of solid chert rock into a pool below, creating an awe-inspiring sight that is especially dramatic after heavy rains. Visitors can enjoy picnics, photography, and the tranquility of nature in the well-maintained area around the falls.
What a sweet, free spot! This is a little Joplin jewel. A peaceful, cascading waterfall. A calm spot to think. A place for folks to wade in the water or others enjoy fishing. People love natural beauty, and some residents live just down the creek, so being respectful of Grand Falls is a must. Many flat, semi-smooth rocks allow spots to sit for a snack and take in this special beauty. It was nice to just relax and appreciate God's wonders. In addition to these sweet falls that are probably 10 feet high and over 150 feet wide, there are small trickling falls on rocky areas beside Grand Falls where you can get your feet wet without getting totally immersed. A great spot for families and friends, and there's enough room for about 10-15 cars to park, along a shoulder of the road, and in a small dirt/gravel lot beside the water. If you are in the mood for a walk, there is nearby McIndoe Park with a wide, paved sidewalk that also winds beside the creek leading to Grand Falls.

Beautiful place, but the water was definitely not clear nor blue but we also had plenty of rain recently so that could be why. Water felt refreshing to walk in but I wouldn’t advise swimming in it because of how fast the currents were. Overall, it was a nice drive from Tulsa OK to here, and very easy and worth the drive too!
Lara — Google review
Very easy to find with signs along the way. Parking is not bad, a small area off the road and plenty space along the road. The falls are nice and great for pictures. Seen many people enjoying the water. Short detour from 44, great stopping area to stretch legs on a long roadtrip
Alisa S — Google review
Although the GPS took us the long way, when we got to Grand Falls we thought it was very pretty. It had rained a lot, so the water was at capacity and the falls looked beautiful. I suggest going during the week because there is not much room to park, unless you want to walk a bit. We were on our way home from Roaring River and it was worth the detour to see the pretty falls.
Tara B — Google review
Just a little off the beating path of a gorgeous neighborhood. Great view, relaxing sounds, and not too busy. My next visit, I will bring a sandwich.
David O — Google review
Such a beautiful site to see! Literally right off the road. You can step out of your car and see the waterfall in all of its glory or you can sit in the comfort of your car and still see it. You are allowed to swim in the pools below the waterfall.. It does get quite busy on the weekends. But every weekday I’ve been there I’ve had it almost to myself. A definite must see!
Amy E — Google review
Visiting Grand Falls in Joplin felt like stepping into a jungle adventure. The scenery was absolutely stunning, especially with the lush greenery all around. During our Memorial Day weekend visit, the falls were especially powerful due to heavy rain—an awe-inspiring sight! Don’t just stay in your car—make sure to get out and walk to the falls. It’s worth it! Just be cautious, especially with kids, as there are steep cliff edges, fast-moving rapids, and whirlpools nearby. This is a beautiful spot to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends. We loved every minute of it!

My sister's and I go here to spend time together eating great food at the restaurant that is very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. We also enjoy playing the slot machines, spending a little money and winning a little money but mainly just having fun!!! The staff are funny, friendly and respectful!!! We, the Divine Sister's definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have some fun!!!

We traveled to this casino to catch Gary Allan. It was a great show. While there, we did a little gambling. This is our first time, and last time, in KS for gambling. We dropped a lot of cash. The place was small and we didn’t win squat. We don’t expect to win big. But, when you drop money like we did, I would think you’d get a few decent hits out of it. Nope, not here. And it must be KS law, but there were zero bingo/red spin machines. Five stars for the concert and 1 star for the gambling gets me to my 3 star rating. I’ll stick to gambling in OK from now on.
Stacy C — Google review
I didn't even know this place was out here until I attended an event. I came here for a conference. Since I did not come for the casino, I can not comment on that. The restraunt food was fantastic with HUGE portions big enough for 2 people. The hotel was comfortable. There was no microwave in the hotel room, however, which I found odd. Free breakfast for hotel guests. And the coffee was good! Yea!
April C — Google review
Building and grounds seem well kept. Staff is polite and friendly and their slot stations seem to be kept reasonably tidy. Slots seem to give a higher return than most. Wish they could be more forth coming with hotel stay offers, as it is a long drive for us. Right now, K Crossing is our go-to casino.

Great hamburger s, from Restaurant and it is very clean, through out the facility. Excellent, excellent service on casino floor as well as the saloon bar. Enjoyable games with average pay out. Not sure what % is paid back but it’s always fun when it is!!

This review is on the restaurant only. We took our son to dinner here on move-in day at Pitt State. There's not a lot of good places to go for dinner in Pittsburg, and it was conveniently a three minute drive from his dorm. The food was delicious and fresh, the service was incredible, and the restaurant was clean and spacious. I had the fried catfish with bbq beans and a side salad and it was very good. The fish was perfectly fried and not at all greasy and the salad was very fresh. My only complaint was that the casino has a heavy cigarette smell as we came in. It wasn't terribly discernable as you got to the back of the restaurant. Because this is a casino, it wasn't completely unexpected, and the experience was otherwise excellent, so I didn't deduct any stars, but it was worth mentioning for anyone sensitive to smoke smells.

The Precious Moments Chapel is a tourist attraction that boasts of colorful murals inspired by Precious Moments figurines. One can take tours, visit the gift shop and cafe to fully experience this simplistic yet ornate place. The stained glass, wall art and murals are exquisite with a heartwarming story behind it. Even though it's half an hour away from Branson, it's definitely worth visiting as the artwork and detail are fantastic.
I love, love, loved coming here for the first time. Everything was so peaceful and beautiful. Found out a lot about the artist 🎨 R.I.P. There's so much to see. I took a lot of pictures and couldn't post all of them here. Free entry donations are very accepted.

A Hidden Gem That Deserves to Be Seen! Our visit to the Precious Moments Chapel, gift shop, gardens, and museum was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty and care poured into every corner of the property. The buildings and grounds are immaculately maintained, each space telling a story through its artistry, architecture, and peaceful atmosphere. Walking through the chapel and museum stirred emotions for all of us. We took our time reading about the history of the place, the vision behind it, and the touching personal stories shared along the way. It’s rare to find somewhere that so seamlessly combines artistry, faith, and heartfelt storytelling, and this place does it beautifully. The gardens were vibrant and full of life, the statues and murals lovingly detailed, and the gift shop offered both charming keepsakes and meaningful mementos. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and answer questions, making us feel truly cared for. It was bittersweet to realize that this treasure wasn’t busy at all during our visit—especially compared to the lively crowds I remember from childhood trips here. More people should know about and experience the joy, beauty, and peace this place offers. If you’ve never been, or it’s been years since your last visit, I can’t recommend it enough. Come, take it in slowly, and let yourself be reminded of the beauty in life and faith.

This experience was amazing! We did not have a guide (we definitely will go back and get a guided tour) But the property is beautiful and so is the artwork! My mom grew up reading the precious moments books, so this was truly an amazing experience for her! Would definitely recommend, gift shop is a little pricey but still fun to look at!

This place was a last minute visit and it ended up being so much more unique and cooler than I had expected. There is a large chapel, gardens, gift shop, and the entrance building is neatly decorated. The admission is free but be sure to make at least a small donation.

Beautiful! Grounds are well kept, staff is friendly and helpful and you really have a chance to reconnect with God in the quietness of the chapel. Make sure you seek out the playhouse he built for his children. And make sure you seek out the empty tomb outside the chapel. I believe this is a must see for anyone within an hours drive. Second time here and it never disappoints.
Randy G — Google review
In the chapel, we had the pleasure of having a tour guide explain the history and purpose of Precious Moments Chapel as we felt the sweet touch of Heaven in our hearts. The art is a treasure and the gardens are beautifully symmetrical and well tended. I do recommend visiting their social media pages or website before your visit to make sure the aspects of the park that most interest you will be open the day and time you wish to explore. We didn’t get to see the museum as we came on a weekday, but hope to return someday to do so. 💒

Wow!!! Impressive layout, lots to see: Disney-like entrance, large gift shop, museum, garden and fountain walkway, and of course the chapel (which has several rooms and areas). Free and beautifully maintained. Very friendly staff and a large, kid/baby-friendly bathroom that actually smells really good! Highly recommend checking this place out!

How did I not know this was a thing. So PRECIOUS and the chapel and the stories. Being we had just learned of the TX flood and all the missing campers I was moved to tears in the chapel praying for them and the families. It gave me a bit of peace and even our teenagers, well 2 of the 4 enjoyed reading and seeing the story of how it came about.

Silver Dollar City

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Leafy theme park with rides & waterslides, plus demos of basket weaving & other old-timey pursuits.
We love Silver Dollar City and have season passes every year. The park is beautiful, clean, we'll maintained, beautifully landscaped and has many festivals and events. This trip is during the Fall Harvest Festival. They also have great entertainment, yummy food, shops, craftsman to watch, fun rides and a beautiful cave to tour that is included. The fall and Christmas lights are totally out of this world and their stage presentation of A Christmas Carol during Christmas is right at Broadway quality. But I must say, they definitely have something for every season!
Dave S — Google review
We love Silver Dollar City! We always have a blast, and the rides are so much fun. The children’s zone is perfect for younger kids, so everyone in the family has something to enjoy. There’s also a super fun water ride and a splash pad near the kids’ area—great for cooling off on hot days! We can’t wait to go back. Also, the park offers a souvenir cup with discounted refills, and there are plenty of food stands throughout. If you’re looking to save money, you can also bring your own food and drinks (just no glass). There are also several show spots around the park, providing entertainment for when you need a break. If you have little ones, the train ride is a must—it includes a fun story and show along the route. The roller coasters are phenomenal! The Time Machine, which I believe is one of the newer rides, was a huge hit with the kids. And depending on the time of year that you go, the park also features seasonal themes—fall is especially fun with all the pumpkins and jack-o’-lanterns. Silver Dollar City is one of our absolute favorite parks and we cannot wait to go again!

We had a fantastic time! Beautiful! Clean! Kind and friendly staff! Absolutely delicious food, better food than any theme park I’ve ever been to. Best pumpkin ice cream ever!!!! The Harvest Festival in October is absolutely darling! The weather was perfection! THOUSANDS of pumpkins!!! Real pumpkins and tasteful decorative fake ones everywhere! Became even more magical at night when all the carved pumpkins light up! Wonderful live music band with country local music!(violin/bass/banjo etc) Perfect vacation destination for families with kids! Do like we did & Buy your tickets ahead of time online and you get the best experience to go on in and skip the lines!

We went last week for my birthday.. I took 2 kids (11 &2). I was really looking forward to the children's part for them, unfortunately it wasn't open. Any of it. None of the rides nor the fire station. And that wasn't posted online anywhere that I could see.. I almost feel like I wasted my $$. I really wanted to see the pumpkins and let them ride those rides all day. The pumpkins were a nice decoration fun especially at night.. But in a back corner there are 3 small rides they rode for a few hours. I guess next time I will call to make sure the specific part of the park I wanted to see was open. And I agree w it could have been more clean. No one was cleaning anything and the bathrooms were also not very clean. Bugs flying around the drink stations and food areas. Which it's outside but still.. we will go again for Xmas and call and make sure that part is open!

When I was a child, my family came to SDC every year, but I hadn’t been in over a decade. We finally had a chance to come for two days and wow, was it everything I had remembered and more. Every employee, from tram drivers to ride operators to food service, was kind, courteous, and especially sweet/patient with us and our kids. It was incredibly cold both days but we found plenty of warm spots across the park with beautiful Christmas scenery to keep the little ones excited and engaged. I think the experiences that stood out to us the most would be the train ride with the story of the Nativity at the center, told by a grandpa and lighted Christmas figures, and the Flooded Mine—my childhood favorite and now my husband’s and kids’. It was far less crowded so the operators let us go a few times, and our 2 year old was so thrilled. I very much appreciate that food and drink cost was reasonable (we spent less at the park per meal than at restaurants in town!) and every meal delicious with a wide variety of options. My daughter got a keepsake personalized parasol just like mine from 25 years ago. I love that the park, with new amazing features, has the exact same buildings and attractions from so long ago. We will definitely be back annually as a family tradition. Thank you, SDC, for still making such wonderful memories for me and now my own kids. And thank you especially for sticking to your roots. How special for my children to have such a fun, safe, and stress free two days along with beautiful reminders of the Reason for the Season.

Silver Dollar City is so festive and fun! This was our first time visiting, and we very much enjoyed ourselves. The Christmas decor was already set up, making for a nice start to the holidays. Live music and demos. Family-friendly rides. Cute shops and other attractions. So magical!

We had a ton of fun at silver dollar city. The people were nice, the rides were amazing, and that doesn't even describe it to its full extent. (The Outlaw Run is by far my new favorite roller coaster of all time by the way) We loved the environment, decor, and everything around us. You could really tell it is a place of culture and fun. I cannot wait to come back next year!!!!

Our first trip to Silver Dollar City and it was great! We enjoyed the holiday buffet upon arrival and happy a great day walking and taking in the park. The Haygoods show in Branson, Missouri is a must-see experience featuring a dynamic blend of singing, dancing, music, and stage effects. Comprised of six talented siblings, this family band has evolved from their humble beginnings at Silver Dollar City to headlining on the famous Highway 76 Strip. With stunning visual effects and state-of-the-art stage presentation, they deliver an electrifying performance showcasing musical styles spanning the last five decades.
An Absolutely Amazing Family Show! In a world that seems to be always pushing on the edges, this family has proven that great entertainment does not have to be controversial. The amount of special effects is incredible, things I have never seen before. Perhaps because they are all brothers and a sister, their harmony and sound is amazing. I loved every single song and how well they interacted with the audience. It was definitely one of the biggest highlights of our trip! You will want to buy the DVD as it also allows a digital download of the performance from that night! My granddaughter thought it was hilarious searching for my bald head in the quick shots of the crowd, lol. Go, as you will not ever regret such a fun night with a good Godly family.

This is the best show in Branson! We weren’t able to get tickets, then at the last moment 2 tickets were available!!! Their harmony was pitch perfect! The Christian and patriotic songs were our favorites. But everything was spectacular, we will definitely come and see you next time we are in Branson!! You are all such a beautiful, talented family! ❤️❤️❤️ Also loved it that y'all had a meet and greet and autographed our picture after the show!

The best family oriented show in Branson. They are high energy, extremely talented and play a wide variety of music. I cannot stress enough that you will be missing out on the best entertainment if you pass on this family of siblings. Each one play multiple instruments and even tap dance hillbilly style.
Ronster70 M — Google review
Let me preface this review by saying that I have seen exactly 2 other shows in my lifetime in Branson. David was the first and it was simply amazing. No other show I’ve ever seen on or off Broadway compared to it. The other show was SIX. A total a cappella five brother group that was extremely talented. So now we go to the Haygood’s. 5 brothers and 1 sister. Want a talented family!! it seemed that every sibling could play just about any instrument as well as sing. Obviously, there were some siblings that were more talented, both vocally, and with their instrument.. they all played multiple instruments and sang as well! No, I’m not going to name names. They compete with each other enough as it is. They had an amazing amount of energy as well as talent, and it showed For the most part, the entire show was very high-tech. Lots of pyrotechnics and lasers and lights. And while I understand the need and reason behind the special effects, there was one spot in the second half. “The flying robot” was just overblown in my opinion. I think it overshadowed the talent. Still, it was an amazing part of the show Absolutely LOVED the gospel part!! Do more. Make a second show for just GOSPEL! I’d love to be at that first show. Overall, this is an extremely high energy, very family oriented, both on and off the stage show Go and enjoy the Haygood’s they are a wonderful family to go see and spend the evening with

This is one of the best shows we saw. Great production. There were fresh surprises throughout the show. All the way to the end. The Christmas part was also fantastic. We bought the DVD of the show so could share it with our kids and see it all again. We were not disappointed. Great job Haygoods!

The BEST SHOW in Branson!!! This was our 2nd show and we always enjoy bringing friends and family with us!! What an amazingly talented family!!! Energy packed, FUN, beautiful music, patriotic and so engaged with the audience! We enjoyed every song, the story telling and family history! The lighting and technology enhancement to the show is crazy good!! We loved it ALL, but specially liked Billie Jean on the harp and Hallelujah!! Highly recommend this show!!! Don’t miss it!! We enjoyed the show, but we didn’t take a lot of photos!

We had a girl’s trip to Branson this month and The Haygoods was our must see show. We see this show every year we are in Branson. We try to see the show at least twice a year. There is so much talent and never ending energy. I love the variety of entertainment, and just love watching Catherine on the harp. One of my favorite songs is the Sound of Silence on their special instrument. I would say Dad Haygood had very good taste in his music. The pyrotechnics are so amazing. Michael comes up with some very cool stuff. If you are looking for great family entertainment, you should not miss this show.

The Haygoods are a great family entertainment show. Awesome lights and special effects. So many instruments played and the vocals were phenomenal. Exciting from start to finish. Will definitely go see them again.

The TITANIC Museum Attraction offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and immerse yourself in the experience of being aboard the iconic ship. With hundreds of artifacts from the original Titanic, visitors can take a self-guided tour through the hallways, parlors, cabins, and Grand Staircase while learning about the ship's history.
Very nice and educational tour, 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Wear a sweater as Air conditioned. Alot to see and read. On line app to hear narrative on your phone. Also staff explained details. Everyone receives a boarding pass with details of a passenger aboard as first class, second class or third. Memorial wall of those that lived and died. Would recommend seeing.
Kathy G — Google review
Nice museum with lots to read and learn. All of the staff was kind and in character which made it more fun. We spent about an 1.5 hours. There is a free audio tour, chance to dip your hands in frozen water, and climb what the deck felt like as the boat sank. Plenty of photos, videos, and interactive trivia for kids. The price is expensive but its a tourist town, what does everyone expect?
Heather F — Google review
Location and parking are good. There’s a Walgreens across the street if you need it. Complaints Buying your ticket in advance you must wait in the same line as if you hadn’t. The lobby area is super loud and someone shouts instructions every ~ 15-30 mins? Entry doesn’t seem to be staggered and there are far too many people per group to really be able to see anything. Since most people are pretty inconsiderate. Not many staff giving stories/details. The person who takes your souvenir photo takes it before you pose. Doesn’t check it or retake it when your eyes are closed. Pictures are printed and shoved at you for $46 - even when your eyes are closed bc the person taking pics of didn’t tell you or check ? lol. You’re “welcome” to go back and retake but it’s kind of a lot to go back the way you came out. The app is out of order for some exhibits. Also the exhibits have numbers and things that don’t work any longer. Think for the price paid the exhibits could be maintained better. Praise Someone was monitoring and stopping the bottleneckers taking pictures. The Titanic is a very interesting story Dog details are sweet Staff we interacted with outside of the photos was great.

8/9/25 Came today with my group of family around 10:30am. I highly recommend attending this attraction. Worth the price, informative with amazing staff. Everyone was so pleasant. Made the experience more fun. Definitely stop by the gift shop.
Shi C — Google review
We thought the tickets were a bit too much (about $50/person after fees/taxes) which made half my group back out. It was more expensive than quite a few of the shows we went to. The few of us who did visit thought it was a nice museum. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. One of our party was in a wheelchair and they helped us get around with no complaints. At the start, they give you a card with a passenger's name and at the end you see if "you" lived or died. My whole group got siblings, so we were pretty invested in their survival from the jump. It was a wonderful touch. All the exhibits were well cared for and contained little info cards, so a bit of reading was required, though the text wasn't too much. They also provided audio tour guide devices. I would love to go again, as it was extremely crowded and I felt a little rushed through sections due to the flow of people, but I'm not sure I could justify another $50 to do it. Hopefully there's tickets on sale somewhere next time I'm in town.
Linda — Google review
Felt like first class as soon as we walked in the door. Staff was super knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Can not wait to visit again when we are in town. Definitely recommend going at least once.
Rachelle D — Google review
The museum has lots of artifacts and loads of information covering the history of the Titanic. Unfortunately, our experience seemed rushed. There were a lot of people let in all at once that made us feel like we were holding up others. I personally would have appreciated a guided tour providing tidbits of interesting information rather than having to stop and read about it myself. Unless you have a way to get discounted entrance fees, or if you have a diehard interest in the Titanic, I would not recommend paying full price to see this museum.
Kayla W — Google review
Such a fun experience! Each person is given a passenger profile and at the end you learn if yours survived or perished. No pictures allowed in the first floor but they were allowed in the second floor of the tour. There was a download options with audio to listen to during your tour. First floor had artifacts and the second floor had more interactive experiences. On the second floor you could ask a crew member about your passenger to learn more about them. You also got to see the last few remaining life vest, spin the steering wheel, learn about the boat, take a picture, touch the cold water temps, try to stand on the deck at different angles of the boat while it sank, and lastly learn if your passenger survived.

The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks - Lodging

The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks offers refined suites with balconies and fireplaces, providing a polished hotel experience. The Farm to Table aspect ensures that the menu features the freshest ingredients for a delightful dining experience. Situated on the college campus, students serve in various capacities, including as servers in Dobyns Dining Room and at the Front Desk, Bakery, and Nettie Maries Creamery.
I have a son who graduated from College of the Ozarks - Hard Work U. And it's not just a slogan. And now my future daughter in law is also graduating from their nursing program. I know this post is for the Keeter Center - but it's run by C of O students and your experience here will prove why this college is such a magnificent educational experience. Service and facilities are absolutely top notch here. We stayed in the Loft Suites and everything was immaculately maintained. Stunningly decorated in rustic style with exposed timbers, wild edge trim. I felt like I was staying at an expensive ski resort. Clean, highly maintained. Attention to detail. Worth every single penny. We splurged for the bed and breakfast stay. They brought a full service breakfast made to order in the morning. Staff are friendly, courteous, professional. These young men and women are not just pursuing an education. They are learning about life. The intangibles you can't teach in a classroom. Why? Because they work their way through their entire college experience. This includes the staff at the Keeter Center/Mabee Lodge. We were thrilled by our experience. And the staff are to be congratulated - particularly the faculty who are teaching our young people here. It's easy to find lots of negativity in the news stories of the day. Makes one doubt the future of our culture. If you visit C of O, and particularly this fine facility, you will have your faith in our future restored.

So many family vacation memories at the Restaurant. Every meal is absolutely amazing. Almost everything is “farm to table”. An all time favorite place to ear when we go to Branson. Dessert is a must!! (We have not stayed at the Lodge.)

We ate dinner. We have eaten here many times. The service is always excellent. The location is fine. On this particular evening, I, for the first time, ordered the Kansas Strip steak. I asked for medium well, and it was cooked properly. However, the quality of the steak was inferior, and should not have been served at this restaurant. Especially given the price, I should have had a much better quality steak. It was full of fat and gristle, and very difficult to cut. I was wasn’t even given a steak knife. I couldn’t even finish it. I have come to expect better things from the Keeter center. I don’t know if they’re getting the steak from their own herds or not, but they need to serve better quality beef. I’m sorry to have needed to post this negative review. Overall, I’m very happy at the Keeter Center, and I love the kids. Nonetheless, given the price, especially, I should have been served a much better quality steak.

Dinner was an absolute dream! If you ever find yourself in Branson, Missouri, I highly recommend a visit to Dobyns Dining at The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks. It's an experience you won't want to miss, where college students prepare and serve some of the most mouthwatering meals you could ever imagine. The farm-to-table concept offers fresh, flavorful dishes that delight the palate with a symphony of tastes, and the student service is both warm and personable, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is lively, and the setting features beautifully crafted woodwork, reminiscent of a grand lodge. It’s the perfect spot for a date night! Be sure to ask for London from Indiana! She was wonderful!

As new locals, this was our first visit after hearing great things from friends and reviews. We came in with high hopes! We started with the charcuterie board. Overall, it was good, the cheeses were nice, though not outstanding. There were a couple of grey pieces of meat we chose not to eat, but everything else on the board was delicious. Next came the bread. I’m gluten-free, and I have to say the rolls were some of the best gluten-free bread I’ve ever had! My husband loved his regular bread too. Big win there. For my meal, I ordered the gluten-free Ketter Club. At first, they accidentally brought out the non-gluten-free version, but thankfully they caught it before setting it down. When my gluten-free sandwich arrived, I immediately noticed the bun looked hard and unfortunately, it was more like a rock. Honestly, no one could’ve bitten into it. I told our waitress, and she kindly offered to have a new one made, but since we had already been there for over two hours, I just ate the turkey and cheese without the bun. My side of fruit was a bit disappointing too, with about a quarter of it being mushy. We did share the gluten-free carrot cake at the end, which was fantastic! My husband also really enjoyed his meal, so it wasn’t all bad. Service was friendly and attentive throughout, which we appreciated. All in all, for the price, I expected a bit better consistency, especially with the gluten-free items. We’ll likely give it another try before bringing out-of-town guests, but I hope management takes reviews like this to heart. There’s so much potential here, and a few tweaks could really elevate the experience.

Amazing experience staying in the Prime Minister Suite for a week. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, food was delicious and the service was top notch. The Sunday brunch was amazing and so were the other multiple meals we ate in the restaurant for lunch and/or dinner. The coffee/tea/drink station for the lodging guests was really great and included some delicious goodies to enjoy while reading on a comfy couch or playing a game with your loved one. Beautiful view of campus and the surrounding area out our back deck and a great location to any and all the Branson attractions. The turn down service every night with HUGE cookies and fresh milk was a perfect way to end a day. We just can't say enough good things about our experience staying and eating here at the Keeter Center. Hard Work U is achieving a really high standard in quality and service.

$45 for a steak. Had to send back as ordered med rare &was served well done. Two at our table ordered the salmon based on the server’s rec. Tasted fishy and husband was not feeling well after eating. And… there was no butter as they ran out, so dry rolls and no butter for potatoes. Such a shame as we support the students but there needs to be more supervision. Service was very good.

Sight & Sound Theatres offers immersive live theater experiences that bring Bible stories to life in elaborate productions. It has become a classic attraction in Branson, with new shows every year based on well-known tales such as Noah, Moses, and Queen Esther. Unlike other theaters in the area, Sight & Sound Theatres stands out for its grand scale and captivating performances.
Just saw the David show this evening, the amount of love and creativity poured into this show was astounding! It really felt like everyone involved genuinely love the Lord. At the end of the show, they asked if anyone needed prayer. I thought that was a beautiful thing. Would HIGHLY recommend

There just aren't enough or proper words to describe how phenomenal this venue/show is! The theatre itself is gorgeous; lush and so well appointed. Staff are tremendous. Happy, helpful, caring. David, the show itself is a feast for all senses. The sets, costumes, lighting, all exceptional. Actors (even the non-speaking ones 😉) we so amazing! Songs were beautiful and the giving of the Gospel at the end made the whole experience just perfect. I will definitely be back!

The most beautiful theater in Branson, MO! We came for "David" and we're immersed in a awesome live theater experience that included live animals. It was a 2-hour stage performance the left you wanting more after every scene. The stage is unique in that it's 3-sided. In several scenes you feel as though you're part of the spectacular evolving around you. If you're in Branson, be sure to book a show at the Sight & Sound Theater. Spoiler Alert! Don't wait to get your tickets. Shows sell out quickly. We had to wait 4 days to find 4 tickets together. We got lucky and found 4vseats on the final nigh of our stay near the back of the theater. They were still good seats though. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and Highly recommended!
Steve O — Google review
Pure magic. I have been to a lot of performances, but nothing compares. The actors/ singers are incredible, but that is just part of the magic. The theater uses a full 180° plus the aisle as the stage. The sets include a 3d holographic matrix to provide full immersion. The story was powerful and well delivered. Well worth the trip, and worth repeating!
Scott P — Google review
We watched David, it was grand! There was hand food sold in the inside like nachos, almonds, hotdogs, and more. The seating was packed and we got seats last minute. That said, I would NOT recommend the first 1-3 rows!!! You cannot see over the stage if you have children and fog will be in you face the entire time. I did enjoy the show and the effort they put into everything.

The props and sets were wonderful. It's awesome that you don't have to fight sound booth, polls or screens to see. It smells like animals in there, but the fresh roasted Almonds help with that. I enjoyed it.

God is so good! Sight & Sound puts on an awe-inspiring performance every time! We've been to Branson over the years and have seen Samson, Noah, Jesus, Queen Esther, and David. Some we've seen twice and all were perfect! This time was a little different in that no one scanned our ticket, we simply walked in...just seemed odd. We will return! Situated along the scenic Branson Landing, which is a vibrant strip of shops and restaurants along Lake Taneycomo, the hotel enjoys an excellent location. The highlight of the area is The Fountains, a unique attraction that combines water, fire, light, and music to create a stunning spectacle.
This was our second stay here for our anniversary. The rooms are big and well laid out, i love the balcony as well. This hotel is wonderful. The guest services are excellent and being right on the Branson Landing you really don't have to go anywhere else. They have great shopping, restaurants and things for the whole family to enjoy. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Tyler who is the front manager was very sweet and helpful. We wanted to extend our stay cause we enjoyed it her so much!Tyler and Brenda up front made that process so smooth. During our transfer they offered to keep our stuff safe for us while we waited for our new room. Jerry who helped us with our luggage transfer was very kind and always had a smile on his face. This team was fantastic. Thank you all for the lovely stay!

The hotel it’s at the perfect location as far as Branson landing area. However, our suite was on the South Tower. Which it’s not connected to the main building. If you want to use the pool or any amenities, you have to walk in between streets. Breakfast it’s located at a different Hilton Hotel Convention Center. You have to walk across the street and railroad tracks. It’s not free! It’s about $25 per person, when we were told it was included. The condo suite had a water leak around the hallway due to an ac problem, they came out and look at. The maintenance guy was supposed to let the housekeeper know to bring toward and dry it in the meanwhile. No one ever showed up, not even the housekeeping service to do the beds or clean the room. I do feel that $1100 for two nights was not worth it. I would advice people to ask for the North tower or stay at the Hilton Convention Center to have all the amenities within the hotel. Ultimately, consider a different hotel on a different location.

My husband and I stay at the Hilton Promenade from October 20- October 24, 2025. This was a short getaway and mental break from work for us. We had an awesome experience from day one. I checked in via mobile App for a 4pm arrival but we did not arrive until after 5:30. I was a little nervous when I checked the mobile again and the room was no longer available. A message advising us to report to the front desk appeared. Upon arrival Morgan informed us that we were receiving an upgrade with no additional cost. We were escatic and appreciate the upgrade.. Dylan took our bags to the room and he was very friendly and personable. He took time to inform us of some great places to visit. When we got to the room, it was very clean and smelled nice. This was very important to us because we requested a deep clean due to allergies and we were aware that the hotel is pet -friendly. We were 100% satisfied with the hotel stay and the service. We plan to visit Branson again in a couple of months and plan to stay at the Hilton Pomenade again! Thank you Hilton staff for an awesome experience.

Beautiful room that was very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The only downside to the room was the noise from the street and the long walk from the check in desk to the south tower. Parking was easy and accessible and a huge bonus was being able to park and leave the car in a super central location and then being able to walk to tons of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here Nov.8th-10th 2025 for our wedding anniversary & my wife's birthday. Disappointed overall, especially for the expense. Only 1 towel left in our room, we had to connect the cord to the phone in the room inabke to call guest services for more towels. Only given 1 pack of decaf coffee, NO regular coffee packs. The breakfast package we bought ($22 per person per day) was only available at the Hilton Convention Hotel about 2 blocks away. Our room was located in the South building, which meant we had to walk into and thru the main lobby...all the way to the end of the hallway, exit the building to the outside promenade area, then re-enter the South building. A long walk while carrying luggage, especially when the temps dropped into the 30's with gusty winds!! There was a nice large tub in our bathroom for a soak, but the faucet water flow was so slow....took roughly 40 minutes to fill, that's ridiculous!! Add $20/day to park in their garage, located on the opposite side of the South building, long walk every time we wanted to go somewhere. The only redeeming quality of our room was it was clean, comfortable bed with quality bed linens, & the nice view of the promenade area. Overpriced & underwhelming experience. We won't be going back for another stay here.
Joe S — Google review
Unfortunately this hotel just can't earn anything more than a mediocre review due to its location. Along a BUSY street with lots of truck and bus traffic, and combine it with the fact that The Promenade area has L O U D music until 10pm -- it never serves up anything but disappointment for actual comfort. The staff is great. Pleasant, helpful, courteous, even going out of their way to help us move to the OTHER Hilton across the street. BUT in the future I would just book at the Hilton Convention Center instead.

Upon checking in we were greeted by the friendly valet staff who assisted us on where to check in. We were happily welcomed by Janelle Taylor who made the check in process so seamless and answered all the questions we had! Super friendly and helpful! The room was spectacular! From the moment you walk into the hotel lobby all the way to your room, the cleanliness and wonderful smell just make the stay so much more than what you could imagine. I recommend this hotel 10/10!

We headed north to Springfield, MO and spent four hours exploring the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium and the iconic Bass Pro Shops. If you plan to go — bring comfortable shoes, a light jacket (if you’re cold-natured), and plenty of free time. It’s the largest and most immersive fish and wildlife attraction in the world, and it truly lives up to the hype. Johnny Morris doesn’t hold back when he brings his visions to life. Every gallery tells a story — from record-setting game animals to the incredible history behind the wonders of wildlife. Every detail is perfectly placed and thoughtfully designed.

This was the most wonderful experience. My son and I decided to go on a Monday to avoid crowds, and the flow was perfect. There were a lot of people there but it wasn’t congested or crowded. The Christmas lights were beautiful, the facility was extremely clean and we were so impressed with how healthy the fish and other wildlife appeared. Their habitats were very clean and you can tell they are all well cared for. We also were able to pet and feed the stingrays and we enjoyed this so much that we visited the stingray pool twice. Staff were approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Loved the museums, they were also clean and well maintained. We had a late lunch at Hemingway’s-food was excellent and the staff were great. The ambience was so cozy-there is a large fireplace with couches available and the aquarium in the bar area is very relaxing to look at. We have visited many aquariums across the US and this was in the top 3 for us. We will definitely visit again!

The Museum and aquarium are both spectacular. I heard great things but all my expectations were far exceeded. The aquarium especially is just gorgeous. The variety and cleanliness of each exhibit is amazing and the staff is very friendly. If you get a chance to do any of the experiences there, the guides are super kind and knowledgeable. I was there a couple weeks ago and honestly want to fly back just to go visit again. I can’t recommend it enough!

We’d read reviews on the WOW National Museum and Aquarium and that’s why we drove up from Branson to visit. I expected a good experience, but it definitely exceeded my expectations for quality. The whole experience is extremely well done - the cleanliness is impeccable, the staff were professional and friendly, the live animal and marine life displays and tanks were breathtaking and well thought out, and the non-live displays were fantastic. There is a full size diorama of a fishing yacht on the rolling seas with two guys deep sea fishing - it was breathtaking and incredibly executed on the mezzanine level. Quite something to see! (See my pictures). There’s a section dedicated to American Presidents and their love of fishing that was interesting and informative. The experience is laid out in themed sections, such as The Swamp, The Amazon, Jellies, Sharks etc. and the experience kept going. We liked the section where you can interact with the stingrays, the beaver saying hello, and the alligators. Like everything to do there’s a cost, but it was honestly great value for money and topped any aquarium I’ve visited before. Allow plenty of time - my teens moved quicker, but even at their speed it took 2 1/2 hours or so. It’s definitely an ‘all morning’ or ‘all afternoon’ thing to do, and there’s no shortage of things to see and appreciate. You definitely leave having a deep appreciation of our natural world, and learning tons of new facts about many species of creation. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Great area well Mark trails. Excellent wildlife. Perfect time of the year, even older people and Grandma and Grandpa can do the blue boardwalk trail all the way to the water

Wonderful place to walk and no worry of having to jump out of the path of an upcoming bicycle 🚲. No worry about getting trampled by a group of runners. Parking, restrooms, and vending machine.

I had a wonderful time exploring the Springfield Conservation Nature Center! The trails are peaceful and well-maintained, perfect for hiking and spotting local wildlife. The nature center itself offers great educational exhibits that really help you appreciate the natural beauty of the area. It’s a fantastic place for families, nature lovers, or anyone looking to get outdoors and learn more about conservation. Highly recommend a visit! It's also fun when you get to see the deer running through the trails!

I have been here a few times. This last time, I accompanied my daughter's home school class to a presentation by two of the staff. I am not sure of their actual job title, but they were knowledgeable and did a fine job engaging the children with animals of Missouri. Very good! The nature trails are superb!

Fantastic Caverns in Springfield, North America's only ride-through cave, offers guided tours on custom open-air trams pulled by Jeeps. The expert guides share fascinating stories about the cave's history and geology, making the experience both educational and visually stunning. Visitors can marvel at ancient formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, columns, cave pearls, flowstones, and draperies.
Had a wonderful tour guide. I've always wanted to go inside a cave like this. Due to my decreased mobility, riding in on the trailer, even though I had to bend over and duck at points, made it possible!! Wonderful even temperature and excellent lighting. Enjoyed the history and learning some science on the way.

To see stalegtight and stalagmites in person is impressive. To see formations that have taken millions of years in person was amazing. Very informative little tour and the guide was humorous. Though we loved the tour and information it is on the pricey side. Truly expected the tour to be more In length. In actually its a tour that stops often to listen to the guide. I'd advise to research prices and compare that to your fascination of underground formations

Fantastic Caverns is an absolute gem and one of the most unique cave experiences you can have. What really sets it apart is the fully ride-through tour—being able to sit back in the tram while traveling through the cavern makes the experience comfortable, accessible, and perfect for all ages. The caverns themselves are breathtaking. The rock formations are beautifully illuminated, and the guide does a great job sharing the history of the cave, how it was discovered, and the incredible natural processes that shaped it. The tour strikes a great balance between educational and entertaining, and nothing ever feels rushed. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the caverns, which adds so much to the experience. It’s a peaceful, fascinating journey underground that leaves you with a deeper appreciation for nature’s artistry. If you’re in the area, Fantastic Caverns is absolutely worth the visit—beautiful, easy to enjoy, and truly one of a kind.

Fantastic Caverns offers a unique and memorable experience with its fully guided, ride-through cave tour. You’ll hop aboard a large tram that takes you deep into the cave, with stops along the way to learn about the stunning rock formations and fascinating history of the caverns. It’s a relaxing and informative adventure—no walking required in the cave. There is also really nice gift shop filled with great souvenirs to remember your visit.

Fantastic Caverns experience is well worth your time. The grounds before getting to the visitor's center are so well kept and beautiful. ( Deer were grazing, when we went.) There is a place outside with the story/ history of the caverns before you go in the visitor's center. The visitor's center and gift store are very nice. In the center there are comfortable chairs to wait for your tour. The jeep trams are roomie and not too crowded. They will allow pictures throughout. You are also allow to bring food ( popcorn from the gift shop) and a drink. The tour takes about 1 hour and is very educational and fun.

Amazing cave, the drive through tour is really nice. It is perfect for seniors who could not otherwise make a more strenuous walk through a cave system. The cave has beautiful formations and great lighting. Thr tour guides were friendly and informative as well. Overall and outstanding diversion.

A great place to learn about caves, how they form and a little local history. Because you ride in a wagon pulled by a Jeep this tour is great for those who might not be able to walk far or stay with a group. I thought it was a little expensive relative to the time length of the tour but then it was so nice to ride and just look and listen to the guide.

This is a very interesting cavern. The only downside is they pull you in a wagon with benches that have everyone’s backs always turned away from half the formations. It hurts one’s neck and back to always have to twist around to look behind, especially when the tour guide is highlighting a formation behind you. If the Caverns would use wagons with forward facing benches, people could look left and right without getting neck cricks or back aches. Also there are points in the cavern where you really have to bend low to keep from hitting your head on the formation. There isn’t as much color and beauty as Texas’s Longhorn Caverns, but we still enjoyed the visit.
