Great spot to find other artists to collaborate with, the metalworks are amazing... I love coming here for inspiration, it's one of my favorite places in Utah. Hadn't seen it in years and still lives up to my memory's standards. Really cool place to get inspiration if you're an artist or just a cool place to check out of your interested in art. I love love love this place. Amazing pieces and artists here, cool dining experiences, etc.

Such a cute little place. We went there for brunch. We didn't mind a 40 minute wait at the restaurant because it gave us time to explore all the beautiful art galleries and just walk around the beautiful art village. Great experience. I'd highly recommend visiting it at least once, even if it's out of your way. You will love the experience. The service and food was outstanding at the restaurant.
Ella C — Google review
Coyote Gulch was one of the highlights of our trip to Utah! The photos do not do it justice! The art in the galleries is varied and interesting. Theshopkeepers are very nice as well. The restaurants are above good; they are absolutely delicious!!!
Patricia W — Google review
Scenic location with many galleries to visit, a cafe to relax and grab a bite and very friendly, outgoing artists and staff. If you are buying a little high end but if in your budget some very nice pieces.
Ed M — Google review
This is a beautiful hidden community in the canyon. Vibrant colors, and the houses blend right into the landscape. Truly breathtaking. I spoke with some people in the ceramics area that work as a coop, which is very cool. I have this fantasy where I'm living in a artist collective in a beautiful natural setting. Definitely swing by if you're around, it's well worth a trip.

Sights & Landmarks
Jacob Hamblin Home is a historic 19th-century house in Santa Clara, just outside of St. George, Utah. It was the residence of Mormon pioneer Jacob Hamblin and his large family from 1863 to 1870. Known for his friendship with Native American people, Hamblin allowed his home to be a refuge for them.
Went and took a private tour of this old pioneer home. We learned about Jacob Hamblin and his service with the Native people from this area. We also learned all about his orchard and how they protected their livestock from being stolen. My kids enjoyed the tour as well.
Jillian S — Google review
Interesting tour of this historic home. We were there about 30 mins. We had to wait about 15 mins. Learned more about Jacob Hamblin’s work with the indigenous people. Bathrooms onsite and ample parking.
Tamara S — Google review
Beautiful place. Great History. The missionaries were so knowledgeable and so fun to interact with.
Janeen C — Google review

Someone meets you the moment you reach the door. You are asked if you want a short or long tour. There is a very friendly lady that gave a tour and answered any questions. Very informative.
Kimberly C — Google review
In this place, I learned about Jacob Hamblin and his brave family. Jacob Hamblin, a 19th-century Mormon pioneer and missionary, built bridges on understanding with Native Americans in the American Southwest. He learned their languages, mediated conflicts, and facilitated peaceful coexistence. His efforts fostered cooperation, aiding in the settlement and development of the region while respecting indigenous cultures and traditions.
Adann S — Google review
Really neat tour to learn about the history of the area. The tour guide missionaries were great and answered a lot of our questions! There's a good feeling there.
Sarah H — Google review
Free! Learn all about a place that has a very interesting history. The elders we had were Great! They taught us much and answered every question we had. They made the tour! Really great place for history buffs - no need to be Mormon to appreciate! Go and learn!

The Dixie Convention Center is highly recommended for conferences and events, with accommodating staff members like Ashton, Travis, Janet, Cindy, Janelle, Ralph, Don, Christine and Paul. The facility is modern and well laid out with a clean and inviting atmosphere. Attendees can enjoy wonderful meal service and delicious cheesecake while surrounded by local amenities that make it a perfect event venue.
One of my very favorite venues to work with! Very nice and modern, well laid out, clean and a centerpiece for the community. Their staff which include but not limited to Janet, Cindy, Janelle, Ralph, Don, Christine and Paul (sorry to ask I missed!) are outstanding to work with and help with everything, no matter the circumstance! The local amenities surrounding it make it a perfect event venue! Bravo!

My team plays volleyball here during the Huntsman World games that's held each October. Very well run tournament. Love playing at this event. Dixie Ctr is where the main games are held, along with the use of local HS gyms. Very fun time.
Jasmine J — Google review
Excellent experience today here at The Convention Center. Smaller venue compared to others in Salt Lake or Vegas, especially for a cheer competition, but it was fun. Parking is very close and the facilities are great.
Jeremy C — Google review
Attended a graduation here and had a good overall experience. The room did carry quite a bit of noise, so it was really difficult to hear the speaker, but the facility was clean and comfortable.

This is where the senior world game participants checked in and picked up our credentials. Very spacious and well maintained. Everyone was so welcoming and polite that I thought that they all worked for the tourism industry lol.

Great Place been to a few different events here. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. We just went to the Jubilee of Trees, had a great time. If you are coming from out of town and need a Hotel, there are a couple of nice ones really close by.

Nestled on a 60-acre property with stunning views of hills and red mesas, Eureka Casino Resort in Mesquite offers a range of elegant rooms and suites to suit every guest. The resort boasts a modern casino featuring around 1,000 slot and digital poker machines, an expanded sportsbook, and lively table games like blackjack and roulette. For those seeking upscale gaming experiences, this luxurious resort provides various options for entertainment including fine dining and live performances.
I have visited the Eureka many times over the years and it is a great place. Hotel and Casino are wonderful to visit. Restaurants and Buffet are amazing, especially Gregory’s. The Casino floor has been updated and the Slot Staff are great, especially Jenn! She’s amazing and treats everyone with respect and is so much fun to interact with. Jenn is very friendly and is a very helpful employee. Make sure to visit with her if you visit the Casino!!
Thressa Y — Google review
As year-round locals, we loved gambling at Eureka. We felt appreciated with our loyalty. The people are very friendly and it's a decent atmosphere, despite the 70's playlist being played non-stop! In the middle of the year, they decided to change their rewards program, to where Onyx level went from $400 a month to now $35 week. $150 e-cash to $50. They will give you a canned reply that "you have the chance to now get $1,000 a month with the new program." I can't even imagine the amount you have to spend to earn that. We already qualified for Oynx 2026 by June, so that tells you we spend a good chunk of money here. Congrats, Eureka, your greediness has pushed another high spending customer over to Casa and Virgin River. Gregory's also seems to have a lot less customers due to the e-cash being lowered, which means less tips for the employees. I hope your penny-pinching is worth it.
MK M — Google review
My wife and I went to Eureka Casino over the weekend and had a great time! The hotel was immaculate And the buffet had tons to pick from, being a total newb to gambling we were limited to the slots but that was okay! The staff was super helpful! Jen in the slots area was super attentive and helpful in showing us what to do and not letting us feel like we were just another pocket to dish out money. My wife and I really appreciate the awesome time Jen thank you for the help and great customer care!
John D — Google review
The casino is very nice. Lots of great slots to enjoy. Doesn’t smell like smoke throughout the casino!! Gregory’s has some really tasty food. I love the table game dealers. Zita is amazing!! Always smiling and very welcoming. Miguel is great too. A very clean casino. Bartenders are speedy with the drink service.
Jazzy V — Google review
Had such a wonderful experience at the eureka casino ! Gregory’s was impeccable ! And had so much fun playing the tables and slot machines. The rooms were great. My cocktail server made it such a fun and unique experience she was so outgoing sweet and funny! Super professional and got the job done. And she kept coming and making sure we were good . If you go to eureka make sure you look for her she is the sweetest girl in there ! And will make sure your experience at the eureka is one of a kind
Mariah F — Google review
I have been coming to this casino for over 5 years. It has the best most friendly people ever. The slot attendants and VIP office staff are not just people but friends! Marsh and Juan have made us feel like family since the day we walked through the doors! We love the atmosphere and size of the casino! Will always come back!
Kim W — Google review
I recently visited the Eureka Casino during the evening peak hours and had a good time. With being a little bit more busy, bartenders made drinks fast and efficiently. Cocktail Waitress Vanessa was quick and prompt while working serving drinks to customers from both sides of the bar. She was attentive throughout the night to ensure customers were taken care of. From slots department Teresa M and Juan are helpful and friendly. I have to say the casino floor was clean and well-maintained, with a wide selection of slot machines and table games. Akie a casino porter was nice and cleans very well. While exploring online i discovered the entertainment events coming soon and hope I will be able to experience.
T — Google review
Eureka is a great spot to stay, a great spot to play, and the friendliest casino in all of Mesquite! The dealers on the craps tables (Adan, Mike, and Jason) kept me laughing the whole time and the blackjack tables were lively and a great place to hang out. The room was very clean and very comfortable. I will definitely be staying here the next time I’m in town. 5 stars all around for this resort and casino!

Virgin River Casino and Lodge

Casinos & Gambling
Nestled within a lively casino complex, Virgin River Hotel and Casino offers basic yet clean rooms away from the gaming action for a peaceful stay. The upbeat atmosphere of the casino provides various gaming options and live entertainment, while dining choices cater to different tastes. Guests can also enjoy amenities like pools, a bowling alley, and an arcade. Despite its affordable rates, the hotel pleasantly surprises visitors with its cleanliness and comfort.
The hotel rooms are nothing fancy, but are very very clean and great for a good nights sleep. I felt safe and slept well. The prices are perfect. The breakfast buffet is excellent and is a great price. The cafe has really good food too and a varied menu to choose from. The staff, every single one of them, are cheerful, helpful and professional. If you gamble, you can actually win. The prices are fair and that is hard to find these days. A shout out to all staff. Great job!
Catherine S — Google review
This place is great! For single or a couple. The rooms were ok. Good beds and hot water with good pressure. No fridge or microwave. Small tv..pool area was nice. I couldnt tell you about the casino because I dont gamble but i did want a nice steak dinner while I was there so I decided to walk over to the casino to go to the restaurant that was advertised on the huge sign out in the parking lot. 830pm I was standing in line for approximately 25min and when seated the area I was seated at had many tables available. I ordered the steak and lobster with baked potato for $25. 5oz both. Not bad but they forgot the potato and I had to tell them. The other restaurant in this casino had a seafood buffet and the line was about 150 deep. I couldnt stand in that line and breath all the second hand smoke. For the price of the room I had a good time and I believe its a good value to stay here.
Arber P — Google review
If you’re not here to gamble (as we were not here to gamble), then its use is only good to sleep on your way to or from Vegas to Zion /Utah. Nothing special, you can smell cigarettes every where, not just at the casino. A plus is that it is dog-friendly if you’re just passing through. It served its purpose for us, as a place up sleep. But the rooms are in need of minor repairs. & don’t steal any linens! Not that you would 😝. See the prices!
Jodi M — Google review
Virgin River Casino & Lodge is a great stop right off I-15, about 40 minutes from St. George. I didn’t stay in a hotel room, but I’ve visited the buffet, played games, and spent time gambling here several times. The buffet is solid with good variety and friendly service, and the overall atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming. There’s plenty of free parking, a Starbucks inside, and multiple restaurants to choose from depending on what you’re in the mood for. They also have a rewards program, which is a nice perk if you come through Mesquite often. It’s a classic, comfortable casino experience — nothing over the top, just a fun and easy place to unwind for a few hours.
Bill K — Google review
Easy on/off the highway, but you don't want to be in Building 1 which faces the highway, lots of traffic noise all night long. The refreshed king bed was comfortable, but the pillows and linens could use some help. Pay attention and invent the towels, linens and pillows and notify the front desk of anything missing (see inventory list and replacement charge posted on the mirror). They also charged a $50 damage deposit. Considering it was half the cost of other nearby hotels, we would probably stay again, but ask for a quieter room.
Shelly O — Google review
I had two rooms for 4 nights. This was hands down the LOUDEST hotel I have ever stayed in. Sleep quality is a 4. The beds were comfortable, but the toilet only flushed on occasion, and the shower in my second room would not drain. We had to wait a while between showers for it to drain. The staff, I believe, are some of the most miserable people alive. EVERYONE I encountered was rude, wait staff, front desk, the bowling alley, arcade. The two restaurants were not very good, service was AWFUL! At the cafe I saw them hiding, rather than seating people! They literally hid around the corner and left people to wait. The buffet had a long long wait despite being fairly empty, because they just would not seat people. The staff needs a raise or motivational training or a vacay or something, it was the I hate my job and everyone here capital of the world!
J L — Google review
How about RV parking, the last time I was there you had back in spaces on pavement. The dirt area was blocked off. I left because no where i could park. I tow a car and can't back up. What kind of RV parking do you have now? I'm headed your way next week and I need to know if I can stop there or keep going. I would love to spend a couple of days, love your casino. Thanks My friends and I are forced to find an rv friendly casino. We enjoyed your place but not no more because parking sucks.
Sandy R — Google review
We only stayed in the room and did not use the casino, so this review is for the room only! The linens were clean and the rooms were as well, but the carpet quickly left our feet black. I should have read the room description better, but I assumed that a microwave and fridge would be included and was shocked that there wasn’t. I’ve never stayed somewhere where this wasn’t an automatic inclusion! Also keep in mind that they do have complimentary hand and bath bar soap, and only have one dispenser for shampoo (I think it’s shampoo??) attached to the bathroom wall. So you’ll want to bring your own conditioner if you use that. The beds were big and fit us and our small kids comfortably. If you just want a place to sleep while you gamble away all your savings, then this is the place for you.

CasaBlanca Resort, Casino, Golf & Spa

Mentioned on

Resort hotel
Casinos & Gambling
Nestled in Mesquite, Nevada, the Casablanca Resort, Casino, Golf & Spa offers a relaxed atmosphere with its simple yet comfortable rooms. The resort boasts over 450 luxurious suites and tower rooms. Originally known as Players Island and later renamed by owner Randy Black Sr., this resort has been a staple since its debut in 1995. Dining options include the Mesa Buffet, offering delectable all-you-can-eat entrees and mimosas for brunch on weekends.
We had our wedding at the Casablanca this weekend and it was amazing! I had a bungalow so not a remodeled room but if you’re a bride or going for a special occasion definitely get the bungalow. I did not get to see one of the remodel rooms, but the rooms that my family had were still beautiful. The gazebo was amazing for the wedding fountain was empty, but it did not make a difference. We had the castaway room for our reception and it was beautifully decorated very roomy very cozy and the food was beyond spectacular. The chefs did an amazing job. We had salmon and pork chops and fried chicken and the best brussel sprouts in my life I could go on and on, but it was definitely something for the books and we will definitely be back for a one year anniversary
Barb D — Google review
It’s nice. But I feel like it’s kinda limited in terms of dining and gambling. I wish they had more IGT triple pop slots. I do like some of their old machines and video slots. Rooms are cool, bed is alright, though not the best. Bathroom is awesome. On the plus side they tier match and I got the top card so I am satisfied. Didn’t try the bar zero proof drinks but maybe next time it would be sweet like the cruises. Hopefully my offers are awesome like my families. Free play, gifts, dining credit, and especially rooms. Their suites look great. Promos could be better
Alex ( — Google review
Update: really now rooms are $200 a night? How egregious…. Wow. I’ve been coming here since I was a child with my family 1997. It was always a wonderful, affordable family friendly resort. Not anymore! * The room’s refrigerators are now gone (unless you want to pay $15 a day for one) * The hot tub looks like it’s functioning fine but is “under maintenance” blocked off with yellow tape * the grass areas AND the tennis area are all blocked off with yellow tape for whatever reason * pool closes at 8:00 yet around 7:30 they shut down half the pool with a rope. They rent out the pool to people who want to party on weekends. It’s not just for hotel guests anymore. * waited at the towel service desk for towels and wristbands. Nobody ever showed up even after having left and come back and so we didn’t receive our towels. * no pool floats allowed anymore * witnessed folks in the elevator complaining they had to move rooms due to a leaking roof. * the televisions in the rooms are a joke. So grainy and useless. You get better quality of local television channels in a hospital waiting room. * when booking, the emails wouldn’t go through. They said there’s something wrong with the email System. No emails are ever responded to. * 2:00 AM leaking water set off the entire resort’s emergency system. Speakers in every room and hallway blared and with intermittent sirens for almost one hour. It was horrible. They said it was due to water leaks. Is it new management?! This place has gone absolutely down hill the span of one summer. Wouldn’t even consider staying if I hadn’t received a free night’s stay with a coupon. And definitely don’t plan on coming back. Use to be a wonderful resort. Now it’s just commercialized for weekend pool parties. Greed greed greed.

This review is only for the spa part of the resort. I visited the Casablanca Spa on October 4th for a sports massage with Misti. She was friendly and asked what areas, if any, I would like her to focus on. If you like more of a deep tissue massage, she is your girl. I lift weights and exercise most days of the week. After my massage, my muscles felt relaxed and my whole body just felt better. The spa facility is clean and relaxing and for the most part people are quiet. My friend did say that when she was in for her massage there were two people outside of her room talking loudly. She thought they sounded like other customers walking around exploring. We thought it might be a good idea to post signage saying to be quiet in the areas where the rooms are or maybe front desk to remind everyone to please be quiet while visiting. All in all, it is a peaceful little retreat away from the noise of the pool and the casino. We enjoyed our time there.
Sandy D — Google review
The updated rooms are really nice. Spacious, lots of drawers and an actual closet, comfy bed and big TV. Everyone was very friendly. My shower backed up and they came and fixed it quickly and brought me a whole new set of towels since I had used mine to mop up the floor. Very impressed, will stay again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Feels like old-school Vegas — and I absolutely love that. CasaBlanca Resort & Casino has such a calm, relaxing, and peaceful vibe. To me, it’s a true throwback to old-school Las Vegas, without all the chaos. The property is clean and beautiful, with a resort-style pool surrounded by towering palm trees that make it feel like a hidden oasis in the middle of Mesquite. There are several on-site restaurants to choose from, plenty of parking, and valet service if you prefer. The pool area is stunning, and the waterfall adds a perfect touch to the atmosphere. It’s the ideal place to unwind, whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or just passing through. Only about 38 minutes from St. George, Utah and totally worth the drive.
Bill K — Google review
Really bummed out. First, we wanted to go down to the pool on a beautiful, warm sunny day but it was closed. Next we were planning on listening to the band and dancing but you had to pay to get in. The staff is awesome and friendly and we love staying here but this weekend was kind of a downer
Matt N — Google review
Tried the new restaurants. Rita's and Fajitas has a great chili Verde. Super tender chunks of pork and a awesome refreshing sauce.. Last night we tried Jersey Joes. The girls had grilled cheese sandwich with pot roast inside of it.. SO GOOD.. Mike had the stuffed biscuits and gravy. Must have been great, he inhaled it. I had the 8ounce burger with ham on it. Ate every bit. Very excellent. Great job Casa Blanca

When daylight savings pushed our 10 AM tee time to 11 AM, they were incredibly accommodating and managed to fit us in early when we arrived ahead of schedule. The course was in excellent condition, offering the perfect level of challenge, with greens that were smooth and well-kept. What really stood out was the hospitality. After our Uber ride back to the strip fell through, Curt, the store manager, generously offered to drive us himself—a trip that took nearly an hour and a half. The kindness and flexibility shown by the team were unforgettable. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this course to anyone!

Coyote Springs was my first taste of Nevada golf, and it set the bar high. The course is wide open with minimal protection, making it playable but still challenging—especially when the desert winds kick in. For being out in the middle of the desert, it's impressively well maintained. Greens rolled true, fairways were in great shape, and the scenery is something else. A great intro to desert golf—can’t wait to see how the rest of the courses stack up.

Had a fun round with family at Coyote Springs. The course was in good shape and not nearly as expensive as a lot of the options closer to Vegas. Staff was friendly and the overall vibe was relaxed. They also had decent, well-priced food and beer, which made for a nice way to wrap up the round. Worth the drive if you’re looking for a solid course without the Strip prices.

Coyote Sringa is truly first class. The Fairways are friendly and exceptional manicured and the green are super fast but very receptive. The greens are guarded and require skill for your entry shot. The staff was helpful and so nice. Be sure to bring or get food as you DO NOT return at 9 to the clubhouse. All in all its well worth the trip from Vegas and I can't wait to play the Madter of Track again. Don't miss this corse!!!!!!

What an incredible experience. One that will stay with me forever. The views, the isolation, everything. The course was in great shape. So much so that I was blessed with the right conditions and an abundance of luck to get my first ace ever.

One of the best desert golf courses I’ve ever played. A must play if near Mesquite or Las Vegas.
Kevin U — Google review
We loved playing here!!! This was my first time and Scott’s 2nd time! We will definitely be back!
Megan G — Google review
The course is just beautiful and it appears they grow their own grass and have a greenhouse to produce what they need which is quite brilliant. The course is tough if you’re not used to a pro environment but anyone can play it if you can hit the ball straight. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, however, we booked and paid for our round two months ago and even though the office had record, they did not have us on their list for the day but made it happen anyway. They accommodated us and we made our tee time with no problem. The course was breathtakingly quiet and peaceful and I hope to play here again one day…it is a definite “oasis in the desert”. My advice if you’re questioning whether or not to play here?…do it.

Specialty Museums
The Lost City Museum, located in Moapa Valley, Nevada, was established during the construction of the Hoover Dam to safeguard artifacts from Anasazi Indian sites. The museum offers a fascinating journey through thousands of years of human habitation along the Muddy River in northeastern Clark County. Visitors can explore well-preserved remnants and reconstructed buildings while learning about the history through photographs, detailed descriptions, and videos.
This is a friendly little museum, only $6 to enter, lots of artifacts and information about them. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of themed merchandise at reasonable prices too. I was worried they would only accept cash because it is a smaller area, but they accept card too for everything. You can see the "M" from the outdoor part of the museum. Only an hour from Vegas and a nice drive, worth a visit.

A lovely little museum that's well worth a visit if you're in the area. Entrance fee was $6 each, which to be honest is not a princely sum but helps keep this place going. Inside is a plethora of bits and bobs all labelled which all helps to explain the history of the area. The layout of this museum is great and there really is lots to see. It's good for both adults and children. There are toilets, which I'm pleased to report were nice and clean. The staff were nice and didn't pester you, which we liked. Parking is good with two disabled spaces located close to the entrance.

This small museum is very interesting with display of artifacts and history from prehistoric site around Nevada area. It s an actual archaeological site that includes an outdoor exhibits of a Native American pit house and reconstructed pueblos.

This is an interesting little museum; I didn't realize that it was on the National Register of Historic Places. The staff were very nice, and if you're in the area it's worth the detour off of the highway.

Valley of Fire State Park is a breathtaking destination that showcases the stunning beauty of the Southwest desert. Located just about 50 miles from the vibrant Fremont Street Experience, this park spans an impressive 40,000 acres filled with striking red Aztec sandstone formations and ancient petrified wood. As Nevada's first state park, established in 1935, it offers visitors a glimpse into its rich history through fascinating Native American petroglyphs found at Atlatl Rock.
Amazing! My initial thought was who wants to go look at rocks. We went to red rock canyon first and it was great. We came here the next day and it's even better. Much closer to it all here. They also have a military discount if you ask. If we make it back during cool weather we will probably try a few of the hikes. Just stopping at the various parking lots you have amazing views and photos can hardly capture the beauty. Must see in person, you will not regret it.
Randy L — Google review
What a magical place. We did two trails over the span of around 3 1/2 hours: the short but scenic Mouse’s Tank, and the iconic Fire Wave/Seven Wonders Loop. Both provided different experiences, views, and difficulty levels, but I feel like there still lots more to see!! Even just driving through the park, you get incredible and genuinely jaw-dropping views of the rock formations. Absolutely blew my expectations out of the park, and the new visitor center looks super cool too! The current visitor center has some cool displays and a nice little gift shop in the middle. I recommend getting here either very early or towards sunset, as there not a lot of shade and, even in cooler temps, the sun can be brutal. Please check this wonderful place out.
Miguel Á — Google review
Writing a “review” of the Valley of Fire feels a bit like rating the sun. Or giving three stars to gravity because it’s “a bit much sometimes.” The place doesn’t care what I think. It’s been here for 200 million years, unbothered by human opinion, Google reviews, or the existential unraveling of anyone who visits. And yet here I am, typing earnestly into the void about how it made me feel small in the most reassuring way. The Valley of Fire exists on a timescale so immense that our entire lives do not even register as a blink. While we are born, grow up, agonize over career choices, stress about emails, and die — these rocks just… exist. They are steadfast and exist outside our timeline, the changes measured in geological rather than biological time. And somehow that’s comforting. There’s something deeply soothing about knowing the universe isn’t keeping track of our daily panic. Standing among those rust-red cliffs and formations, I felt every melodramatic human emotion: awe, insignificance, reverence, and an odd sense of relief that my to-do list, my one sided feud with my neighbor (true story), my overthinking… none of it matters here. The Valley of Fire is the ultimate reality check wrapped in beauty: a place where the universe pats you on the head and says, “Sweetheart, relax, it’s really not that deep.” So yes, five stars. Would recommend. Bring water, snacks, and a healthy sense of humility
Adrienne W — Google review
Awesome park to visit, this place had a few stops with petroglyphs that were neat to see. The visitor center was cool and the staff were fun and helpful of cool thing to see in the park. Most of the hikes were easy and well marked. Family friendly even for littler kids to go on. Would recommend visiting!
Brandon B — Google review
Lots to do and beautiful hiking trails. Highly recommended! There are a variety of rock formations that you could spend hours enjoying the view and nature. As always, remember this is located in the middle of the desert, always bring more water than you need on your adventures. There is a visitor center in the park which offers small snacks and beverages, as well as souvenirs!
Chuck R — Google review
Beautiful place to explore with short little hikes. What they’ve changed in the last 2 years is requiring photo permits if you’re not in walking or hiking outfits. Also no longer can you park on the road and look at the views. Parking is limited in some popular hike trails. It’s hot during summer and don’t underestimate the heat.
Adventure F — Google review
Absolutely stunning! The red rock formations glow under the sun and change color throughout the day. Don’t miss short hikes like Fire Wave (1.5 mi), White Domes (1 mi loop), and Mouse’s Tank (0.7 mi). One of the most beautiful parks near Vegas — nature at its best! I would always skip Vegas and just go here!

I've been meaning to visit this state park for years. Very happy to have made the drive up from Vegas. Scenery is dramatic and beautiful. Also I was not expecting to see Bighorn Sheep! I plan to come back when I have more time to hike. Note, many trails are closed in summer.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a sprawling 1,200-acre complex that hosts NASCAR, drag racing, and special events. It's a haven for adrenaline-seeking couples looking for an exciting date night. The facility offers various driving experiences, including the NASCAR Racing Experience where participants can drive a NASCAR on a 1.5-mile tri-oval race track with banking in the turns while receiving instructions through in-car radio.
So many activities in the Fan Experience area for people of all ages. Budwiser Clydesdales were on the scene plus games for the kids and plenty of places to drink and tons of food options. This all added to the race experience and made it a full and memorable day.

Had a great time at the smx final. The track was big, they had screens to see what was happening out of sight. Was able to bring in water and some snack so that was very nice. Well run event. Lost one star for getting out of the event. Very little traffic control. Took 45min to an hour to get out. Park near the exits!
Ryan F — Google review
This was my first nascar event ever attending. Great facility very clean, and even with a packed stadium it felt very open. Wheel chair and walker easy accessible ramps to get to any level. A lot of great venders. Fun family friendly atmosphere!
Kainoa L — Google review
Great Racetrack, Disappointing Concessions Our recent trip to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway was a fantastic experience overall. We had seats in Sec E row 64 awesome seats, which provided an excellent vantage point of the track. The facility itself is impressive, clean, and well-organized. Watching the race was an incredible thrill, with great sightlines and an electric atmosphere that you can only get at a live NASCAR event. The sound and speed were amazing, and we have no complaints about the racing action or the venue itself. However, the experience was significantly let down by the food and concessions. While we expected "at the track" pricing, the costs were truly excessive. We paid a premium for all our food and drinks throughout the day. To make matters worse, the service portions were very little for what we paid. It was disappointing to spend so much and receive such small amounts of food. It felt like a poor value, which put a damper on an otherwise perfect day. In short, while the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a top-notch facility for racing, I would strongly recommend eating a big meal before you arrive or being prepared for extremely expensive food and very small portions.

Awesome race day as always!y driver finished 3rd 🥉 We tailgate before and after the race to avoid traffic. You can meet your driver in the Fan Zone before the race. There are plenty of vendors with free swag! Which makes for a fun time!

Great race ,but $14.00 beers should be cold and ride share was a nightmare ( got dropped 4 times and there were numerous ride sharing people price gouging. 100-180 a person) definitely know why now. There were so many seats available. The shuttle service was 100 per person
Davy C — Google review
Our first time here was a learning experience. A lack of signage in the parking areas and seating area made finding out Nascar seats difficult. Compared to other venues in Kansas City and Dover, it seemed like the venue was past its prime and needs a refresh. Pros = Free parking is available. Assigned seats. Cons = We walked a half mile from parking to the only gate that was open, then walked another quarter mile to the end of the stadium where we were seated. Once there, a family had decided to sit in our 4 assigned seats. They did not offer to mo e but told us we could sit further down the row where they had purchased seats 😐. Where we were seated in "family pack" section where 4 tickets were 79.99,, the audio was difficult to hear, display was small and could not be seen, and smokers were smoking next to us. When we departed after the race, there were no signs guiding people to the separated VIP/handicap or General parking, but these lots were divided by a chain link fence. Many of us walked quite a ways before realizing we could not get through to the other side unless we backtracked. With improved signs and some helpful event staff, things like this could be avoided and add to the enjoyment of the event.

This definitely has got to be one of the funnest experiences I've had. Went here for NASCAR cup series in 2025 and it was amazing. The fan experiences they had were so much fun and the merch was amazing. We sat down towards the wall itself and got the neon garage experience. Being so close to all the action was really mind blowing and gave me a new appreciation for racing as a sport. The neon garage was very cool to go to. You get to look in and watch the teams work on the cars and get access to the paddock where they interview them pre-race. Parking was good, but it's a bit of a nightmare to get out, so be prepared to sit and wait for a little. Other than that, highly recommend coming here to watch NASCAR or any other race they put on.

Hoover Dam, once known as Boulder Dam, is a remarkable engineering marvel from the Depression era. It stands as one of America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders and offers tours and scenic views of the Colorado River and Lake Mead. The dam, completed ahead of schedule and under budget in 1936, was built by thousands of men enduring extreme conditions to create the massive 726ft-high structure. The iconic art-deco styled dam redefines the stark landscape and holds historical significance.
Love it here. The greatest engineering accomplishment period. Fun fact. First guy who died on this project had the same name as the last guy to die. They died on the same date - the year as well. The story of how they built this is just absolutely incredible. Need to buy tickets in advance to get down Area 51 like secured access road. Guided with Adventure Child

America is great. What a sight. What an accomplishment. It is always a must see. You can now drive across the dam again. Also can walk across it. Tours are first come first serve. So you get there and get in line and then get assigned a time. The view from the bridge is also spectacular.

Great place to visit, entrance and parking is free. However, DO NOT go into the visitor center because they have ticket ranges from 15 to 40 dollars for exhibitions which last five minutes. Don’t waste your money on that, just walk outside and enjoy it thete

An absolutely breathtaking engineering marvel! As an engineer, I was truly amazed by the incredible architecture and precision behind the Hoover Dam. The massive structure, the surrounding scenery, and the sheer scale of this monument are mind-blowing. It’s a perfect tribute to the brilliance of civil engineering and a symbol of human innovation. Just 40 minutes from Las Vegas, this place is a must-visit — the views, the backwaters, and the overall experience will leave you speechless. Don’t miss the chance to witness this masterpiece of engineering excellence!”

I had seen multiple pictures of this dam and thought it was big, but this thing is HUGE!!! We did the tour that took us down inside and that was very informative. It’s also very interesting looking around in the museum and seeing all things they used and how they built it. Definitely a cool place to visit!!

The Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, also known as Hoover Dam Bridge, is a remarkable engineering feat spanning the Colorado River between Arizona and Nevada. The four-lane highway bridge stretches 1,500 feet long and stands at an impressive height of 890 feet above the river. It boasts of the world's tallest concrete columns and holds the title for being the highest and longest arched concrete bridge in the Western Hemisphere.
This was our first stop after landing in Las Vegas. It's a walkway bridge with stunning views of Hoover Dam. I was amazed to walk through the bridge as it is built so high on the Hoover dam that one can easily have a breathtaking view of the Dam. When you are standing at the center of the bridge facing towards the Dam then on your right side is Arizona and on the left side is Nevada state. You have to climb some steps from the parking lot to the bridge. When I visited it was so windy that I was getting pushed by the wind. So, before visiting check the weather advisory for the winds. Plenty of parking slots were available when I visited. They also have restrooms at the parking lot.

Don't look down. It would be a big fall. There can be gust of winds. It's a big climb to get to the bridge. Honestly pretty cool bridge. It can be quite hot up there. Bring water because you will need it on the hike.

Amazing viewpoint connecting Nevada and Arizona! The bridge offers a breathtaking overlook of Hoover Dam and the Colorado River below. Short hike from the parking area to the viewpoint with clear signage. Windy up there, so hold onto your hat! Definitely worth the stop.

The Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, also known as the Hoover Dam Bypass, is located along US Highway 93 at the Arizona/Nevada state line. Its official address is 27953, 28689 Great Basin Highway in Boulder City, Nevada. This bridge spans the Colorado River after water passes by the Hoover Dam power generators and spillways. It was built to divert traffic that used to drive along the top of the Hoover Dam. There is a pedestrian path along the bridge and its wall does a pretty good job blocking the view of the Hoover Dam from vehicles driving the across the bridge. I have not walked across the bridge, but I understand that it provides a great vantage point to view the Hoover Dam. This arch bridge sits 890 feet (270 m) above the Colorado River. Like every bridge, it will flex and sway from traffic driving across the bridge as well as wind passing through The Black Canyon of the Colorado. This sway is intentional as a rigid structure would be damaged by the forces exerted upon it.

After our Hoover Dam tour, we moved our car to the free outdoor lot (Boulder Dam Bridge Parking) and walked the Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. You can visit the bridge before or after the dam, but if you’re joining a tour, it’s best to do the tour first in the morning and save the bridge walk for later. This massive bridge connects Arizona and Nevada, built to ease traffic around the dam. It opened in 2010, is 1,905 ft long (579m), 890 ft high (270m), and is the 2nd tallest bridge in the U.S. and it even won a bridge design award in 2012. It’s named after: • Mike O’Callaghan, Governor of Nevada (1971–1979) • Pat Tillman, an NFL player who left his career to serve in the military and died in action in 2004. You can walk across the bridge to get amazing views of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. You might feel the bridge slightly sway( something to keep in mind if you’re afraid of heights). We visited in late March and it was super hot and dry (over 30°C / 90°F), so definitely bring a hat and water. The bridge isn’t long, but with no shade, it feels intense under the sun. If you have a free day in Vegas, this side trip is totally worth it!

Crazy! Crazy yet. Extremely entertaining. Slightly rough on the edges but it added to its unique qualities. There was a moment in the evening when it was dark outside. They had amazing light show on the ceiling which was great fun and the music was just spot on for myself and my partner. The live entertainment is worth the visit. Food beers all cool and Harley would recommend the cheap gamblings casinos which was also entertaining

We had a blast. So full of people, music and lights. It was great. Awesome place to people watch, we don't drink or gamble so we just walked the street and we're blown away by everything there is to see. My husband bought an amazing painting off of one of the street artists. It was just a lot of fun, especially if you come from small town like I do and don't get to see this type of thing often.
Loretta B — Google review
Definitely worth checking out, but I must warn you that many of the casinos and street stores here evoke a nostalgic feeling for a reason. They’re not like the newer part of Vegas or the heart of the strip, but if you’re seeking a glimpse into the past, perhaps 3040 years ago, this is the place to be. One must-try is the outdoor circuit bar, where they still perform flare bartending, a skill that’s hard to find elsewhere in Vegas. I believe there’s also zip-lining available, and part of the street is covered with an LED ceiling, complete with a stage for live music, which I think is part of the Atomic Saloon. Overall, it’s a must-visit, but it could be something entirely different. I would like to see it more devoted to live music and live entertainment . The street performers are the heart of the place, so make sure to support them.

Wow—what an unforgettable experience! Fremont Street Experience is pure Vegas magic! The lights, the music, the energy—everything here is absolutely electric. The canopy light show is breathtaking, and the live bands keep the vibe going all night long. I loved the mix of classic Vegas casinos and modern street entertainmen.it’s like stepping into the heart and history of the city all at once. Everywhere you look, there’s something exciting happening. If you want to feel the true spirit of Las Vegas, this is the place to be! Love from Canada 💕😘

The ambiance here is fantastic, feeling more accessible and less pretentious than some areas of the Strip. You'll find live bands playing on multiple stages, often featuring high-energy cover artists that keep the crowd dancing. The street is also famous for its incredibly diverse and often bizarre street performers (be aware that tipping is expected if you take photos). It's a non-stop carnival atmosphere.

I had come to the Fremont Street Experience for many years. My experience is getting better and better. I finally feel that Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas is better than the Strip. I think I will book a hotel in the Fremont Street area next time when I come to Vegas. The Fremont Street Experience is fun, with more activities and even livelier than any other area in Vegas. I enjoyed the nightlife here. I like the stores, bars, restaurants, and casinos here more.

We came through on the Big Bus tour but we did not get to stop. From what we saw it will be an awesome adventure in the future. The place was bright and lively. We drove right down the middle and under the huge ceiling video screen that stretched what seemed to be as far as we could see.
Shawn J — Google review
Fremont Street is a must if you’re in Vegas for the first time. Cheap gambling, nonstop entertainment, and people-watching that deserves its own documentary. You will absolutely see something unforgettable — maybe even something you wish you hadn’t. I’m pretty sure I saw the best magic of my life here from about five feet away. Tip your street performers. They earn it. Go at night for the full effect, stick to the classic casinos for better odds, and keep your wallet close. If you want pure, unfiltered, chaotic Vegas energy, Fremont is it.

The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower is a renowned accommodation in Las Vegas that offers vibrant dining, entertainment, and a bustling casino. It stands out as one of the city's tallest buildings, soaring over 1,149 feet high with thrilling rides atop the tower providing breathtaking views of the Strip. Visitors can experience the exhilarating Top of the World revolving restaurant and the stylish 107 SkyLounge cocktail bar while taking in stunning 360-degree panoramas.
We had such a fun evening at The Strat last night! We started at the bar and played some video poker — our drinks were comped, and the cocktails were delicious. Matt, the bartender, was fantastic — super friendly and attentive. Then we headed up for dinner at Top of the World, and OMG… what an experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking, the food was exquisite, and the service was excellent. Truly one of those “wow” Vegas moments. After dinner, we stopped to get our player’s cards. The staff member helping us was kind and informative, offering great suggestions. We played a bit more video poker and tried a few slot machines. We didn’t walk out winners, but we had a wonderful time and felt entertained for hours. Overall, it was a lovely evening — great food, great drinks, and even better service. Highly recommend spending a night at The Strat!

The wifi that you pay $50/night for through the mandated resort fee is unusable. As in you literally can't even connect, and in the unlikely event you do, nothing loads. Not google maps, not email, not a website. Rooms are clean but missing a mini fridge. Management obviously discouraging having your own drinks. No ice that I know of. Carpet smells worn. Could be worse. Gym is great. Staff are pleasant. Parking garage is managed through a third party and $20/night. Views of the mountain are nice. Beds are fine but pretty springy. 3 stars is a bit generous but it could be worse. I've stayed at nicer comfort inns.

I am severely disappointed with the all around experience of the STRAT. Booked for 4 nights and we left after day 1! 1st room was not clean at all, the whole “C” tower smelt awful, room was very loud. Very dusty, sticky and left garbage from past users. Not what we expected at all for the “newly renovated” title. Due to the uncleanliness we got a 2nd room. This was much better, it was located in another tower with the same layout. However we got two body towels and no additional ones for hands and face. The sink water pressure was way better than the shower. Customer service on arrival and when we switched rooms was lovely! 2nd room was much better but this whole experience left an awful taste in our mouth. In addition to that we arrived later at night and this is not a place you or your family would want to walk around at all! Even our cab driver told us to not venture out far in the area. All restaurants in the casino were closed and only option was McDonalds (it is what it is) We paid double the price with loosing all our days booked at this hotel to go somewhere else. Not a location I would go near again or want to stay.

Hotel is conveniently located on the Las Vegas Blvd strip & offers thrilling rides, a comedy club, a casino & a rotating restaurant. I saw the comedy show & thought it was fun & hilarious. The rooms where quite spacious & very clean. I stayed in the older rooms but was told they had newly renovated & modernized rooms. I however had quite an unpleasant check in experience. Arrived just before 12 noon & was told I could only check in at 3pm because of the type of room I booked. Came back just before 3pm & reception staff told me I had to wait until it was after 3pm not minding that I was extremely tired from the wait. On both occasions, they tried to sell me the idea of upgrading to a different room at an extra cost. Got the feeling they were all about money & not focused on customer satisfaction/experience. I get it that it's Vegas but I got a much better customer experience from the other hotels I stayed at. On the positive side, the guys at the Bell Desk were courteous & understanding when I dropped off my luggage prior to check in.

This is an older hotel and gets some flack but we really enjoyed our stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There were several nice restaurants and the casino was cool (they got all of my money though) The highlight was going up the observation deck and catching sunset and happy hour. The drinks were good, the staff was friendly and the VIEW was AMAZING!
Diane P — Google review
Great staff and good attentiveness, place is a little smoky and stale, and winning at any bar is few and inbetween. You'll spend a lot of money at the bar for a single drink and are much better off playing somewhere in the floor. PT has great selections of food, but opens really late after 2pm, so if you want lunch at a reasonable hour, your kind of out of luck, unless you want to spend almost $10 for a single slice of pizza. The Top of the world restaurant is a little pricey, but the food is good and the atmosphere is excellent. Rides are a little expensive for the amount of time you get, but taking a look from the outside is worth the venture to check out the city.

This is our 1st time starting at the hotel. We selected a Boulevard suite, which is a decent size room. We did ask for a higher level but got a lower level instead that looks over the air conditioner units. We had breakfast every day at Strat cafe, the food portion was big and good. We also ate at PT’s Wings & Sports and 108 Eats. We enjoyed the Observation deck to see views of the Las Vegas valley. We didn’t realized that there was an outdoor deck until we were leaving, which if we knew we would have gone up before it started to rain. Overall we like it and maybe stay there in the future again.

Always enjoyed staying at the Strat when we are in vegas. I think its a great location in between the strip & Fremont Street. The Deuce bus is easy to navigate & get to to either spot. Clean rooms, Great service. There is a McDonald's in the hotel, and a great pizza place. I'd pass on the Strat Cafe tho. Guests get a discount for the Top of The World viewing deck. $10/person instead of $30. The casino is good too! Be aware of the time share people that usually get ya across from the Starbucks. Great mountain views from rooms. North tower was nice. Lovely pool as well on the 8th floor.

Wynn Las Vegas is a luxurious casino resort known for its upscale rooms, top-notch dining options, and vibrant nightlife featuring celebrity DJs. The resort offers a unique buffet experience in a skylit atrium with sophisticated towering Royal Palms creating an airy ambiance. The menu includes a variety of breakfast options such as red velvet chocolate chip pancakes, lobster eggs Benedict, and white chocolate brioche French toast.
This hotel was awesome! Would absolutely stay here again! Service was great, rooms were clean and luxurious and very high tech (Amazon echo devices control everything from TV to window blinds and lighting). Shower water pressure was also very high and much appreciated. The room was on the 26th floor away from the elevators and was very quiet - we had an amazing sleep and stay here. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Wynn Las Vegas! The property is absolutely stunning — elegant décor, gorgeous floral displays, and everything feels so luxurious. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and super comfortable with beautiful views. Their service is top-notch too — staff is polite, helpful, and always ready to assist. Loved the casino vibe, the restaurants, and the overall peaceful yet glamorous atmosphere. It truly feels like a premium experience in Vegas. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a classy and memorable trip!

I’m not sure it gets better than the Wynn! This has been the absolute best hotel experience I have had. We stayed in the Tower Suites. There was no wait to check in and the room was so clean. The entire hotel was impeccably decorated, clean, and fresh! The pool, the gym, and shopping were all wonderful experiences! It was a peaceful retreat. Anything we requested was politely and promptly delivered.

Beautiful property with lush and mature landscaping. Quick ride share drop-off at the South Gate entrance, which took me immediately to the meeting rooms entrance. Check the map to find the closest drop-offs for parking/valet if you’re going to a meeting room/convention. My friend didn’t and ended up parking at the Encore, which was a long walk. We had a banquet luncheon and the meeting rooms are at the opposite end of the property, closer to Sands ave. Inside, there were comfy chairs in the hallways; I sat there while I was waiting on the event to start. Once inside, the dining tables were perfectly set up to see the stage and the speakers. Food was served buffet style, yet staff was there to help every step of the way. A server even opened my can of soda so I wouldn’t break my nails. The food was perfectly placed and looked so pretty, like a picture! We had a Mexican style lunch and the fajitas and salad were yummy! Sound quality was excellent and there was even a staff member there to assist, as needed. Overall, a very luxurious experience!!

We traveled with our toddler so we spent time choosing the best hotel for our stay. It didn’t disappoint. The check in is very smooth - there is even an express check in where the machine scans your ID and card and gives you the keys at once. There is a security before you enter the hotel building (which is adjacent to the casino) which gives added security to guests. We stayed at a King panoramic room at the 57th floor (hotel is up to 60th floor) so the views are to die for. The room is very clean, the housekeeping always makes sure our stuff are well kept, even folded our clothes in the bathroom. Everything is automated and we were blown away. Our toddler loved the curtain and lights automation. Breakfast at The Buffet is great! Wide selection of food - American, Mexican, Japanese, etc. But I would say- the charges were different each day. Our free breakfast is worth $60 to any restaurant but we only ate at The Buffet, first day we were charged $140 less $60. Next days were free except for gratuity and tips. As Amex Platinum members, we got a $150 spa credit and the experience was great. Truly a 5-star experience. Shops inside the hotel were high end, great to stroll around. We had side trips to the Hoover Dam, Death valley and the Valley of Fire from this location. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Hey everyone, this is Old Bai. As the holiday season of late 2025 and early 2026 arrives, staying at the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas means you’re right next to some of the best places to explore. Just steps away is the Wynn, home to one of the top three buffets in Las Vegas — widely considered one of the most luxurious and elegant hotels in the city. This video was filmed on Valentine’s Day 2025, which also happened to be Presidents’ Day and my wedding anniversary — a perfect “triple holiday combo.” I’ll be staying at the Trump International Hotel that night, which is part of former President Trump’s personal property portfolio in Las Vegas.

Love the hotel room, casino. However, going up and going down, the entrance of the hotel rooms, you can smell directly the smoke, cigar that is too strong. They should put a non-smoking. Overall, nice hotel to visit.

Our check-in experience was unacceptable - and it seems to be a common problem. Check-in is advertised as opening at 3pm. We arrived right on time but were advised that our room wasn't ready. This was happening to other guests at the same time and other reviews confirm it wasn't just a one-off day. We were told we would receive a text message when our room was ready and could leave our bags with the Bell Desk. We did just that and went off to have a drink whilst we waited. After an hour, we still hadn't received a text message. So we went back to the check-in desk, having to wait in line again. Our room was ready, but no message was ever received. The hotel itself is stunning and is arguably the most luxurious on the strip. However, we've never experienced such a farce at check-in at other luxury hotels on the strip. For us, we'll stick with The Venetian which has always delivered an impeccable experience.

Nestled just a short 20-minute drive from Henderson, the Clark County Museum is a treasure trove of history and culture waiting to be explored. Spanning an impressive 30 acres, this regional museum offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the rich tapestry of Las Vegas and its surroundings. From early Native American artifacts to displays showcasing the impact of railroads and the evolution of hotels and casinos, there's something for everyone.
What an awesome place! I was prepared to pay the entry fee, but it is free now! I loved seeing the train and all of the houses. It was interesting to see what homes in the 1920's looked like. I will definitely go here again if I have the chance.

I've been wanting to visit for a while now and finally went on a Sunday morning.I was the only person in the indoor part of the museum and really took my time studying the wonderfully crafted exhibits and read a lot of the information at each exhibition. It goes from the very beginning of native culture to almost modern day.The outdoor part was excellent as well and I am very glad I visited. If you are into western history you will love this museum.

Excellent internal staging of the city block of houses moved to the site. From the 19th - 20th century each house represents an era that is literally dressed in its time. From the carton of Lucky Strikes laying casually on a coffee table during WW2 with the radio blasting news of the boys overseas to the 1950s kitchen's stuffed pantry with the biggest name brands of the time, the staff did an over the top job! Pre radio to color tv its all represented on the time capsule of a city block at this museum. A hidden gem!

Nice museum for free entry. Good collection of buildings and a nice place to walk around. Mannequins are a little creepy and unsettling, especially if you’re alone in the houses with them. Lots of potential for future expansion. Hopefully they can get some funding to expand the indoor part and do some upgrades like paving and signage.

We were ready to pay $1 each since we're seniors (55+) but were told it was free!! My husband put the $5 bill he was going to use to pay in the donation box instead. It was a lot of walking and it was hot but we really enjoyed it. We didn't walk all the way to the ghost town part because we were getting tired. (Seniors). But it's not that far to walk for those with younger legs.

Enjoyed visiting this open-air museum where one can walk into the houses of actual people who lived in the Las Vegas area, before it became what it is now. If you want to leave the chaotic strip behind and have a walk in the past, this is the place.

The High Roller is a must-visit attraction in Las Vegas, offering breathtaking views of the city. This 550-foot-tall Ferris wheel features spacious observation cabins that can hold up to 40 people. Visitors can enjoy a 30-minute trip over the Las Vegas Strip, taking in stunning 360-degree views of the Vegas Valley.
The High Roller Ferris wheel is an incredible experience and a must do for anyone visiting Las Vegas. The ride lasts about 30 minutes, offering plenty of time to take in the breathtaking views as you slowly ascend. Once you reach the midpoint and especially the very top, the panoramic scenery is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend experiencing it at night. Seeing the entire Las Vegas Strip illuminated with vibrant lights creates an unforgettable view that captures the city’s energy and charm. The ride itself is smooth, enjoyable and offers a unique perspective you can’t find anywhere else. High Roller Las Vegas Review – A Must-Do Scenic Ride on the Strip I recently had the chance to ride the High Roller Observation Wheel in Las Vegas, and it was truly a memorable experience. Located at The LINQ Promenade, this 550-foot tall attraction offers one of the best panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and beyond. What I Enjoyed: Breathtaking 360° Views: From the top, the views of the Strip, city skyline, and surrounding desert landscape are absolutely stunning ,especially during sunset. Relaxing and Smooth Ride: The entire rotation takes about 30 minutes, giving you plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. Spacious, Comfortable Cabins: The cabins are air-conditioned, clean, and spacious, offering a comfortable ride even in peak Vegas heat. Family-Friendly and Accessible: It’s a great activity for all ages , calm, scenic, and perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers. Pro Tips: Visit at sunset or after dark for the best combination of city lights and desert sunset. Book tickets online to skip the lines and possibly save on pricing. Bring a good camera or phone, the photo opportunities are fantastic, especially from the top. If you’re looking for a relaxing and scenic activity that showcases a different side of Las Vegas, the High Roller at the LINQ is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. We really enjoyed our experience on the High Roller - the views of Vegas at night are hard to beat! This is roughly a 30 minute ride in a spacious pod with 360 degree views. The pods move smoothly and slowly so you will not notice the movement. If you are trying to keep the party going while onboard, they offer drinks before you board - at elevated prices. Keep in mind that they do bag checks before you enter, so you are not allowed to bring in outside drinks. The only negative is that they had us enter and exit the pod while the pod was moving, which seemed a little sketchy to me. One miss step could mean a guest falls off the platform. I did noticed that they stopped the pods for some guests, though. The pods move really slow, but the risk of a fall is still there. The overall experience was too good to knock the rating. If you are staying at a Cesars-run hotel and have not signed up for the rewards program - do it! My tickets were free as a new member of the program.

It's interesting. Slow and steady. We went during daylight hours so we could see the mountains in the distance. At night it might be more exciting to see the lights. It was a 30 min ride but felt quick. It was roomy in there. The two of us were in there with 5 others. Plenty of room for people to move around and take pics and not feel crowded. We brought our own drinks with us but there was a bar right before you get on. I think we paid $22 each. I'm not sure I would say this is a must-see but it was interesting enough for something to experience while we were in Vegas

This is definitely a must-visit attraction when you’re in Vegas! I highly recommend going at night the view is absolutely stunning with all the lights from the Strip glowing below. I got two tickets through Groupon, which was super easy and convenient, and the whole experience was well worth it. When we went, there was a family with little kids who were a bit loud and energetic just being kids so that was a small distraction. But aside from that, I really enjoyed the experience. Once you’re up there, you get an incredible panoramic view of the entire Strip and beyond. Seeing all the hotels, lights, and energy of Vegas from above is something you really can’t describe until you experience it yourself. If you’re planning a trip to Vegas, make sure to add this to your list it’s one of those experiences that gives you a whole new perspective of the city and makes for some amazing memories (and photos, too!).
NAVi A — Google review
We bought tickets online ahead of time from Groupon and just had to show out passes and got right on- no wait. We went during a Friday around 1 pm and got right on the ride. Also the ride overall takes about 30 minutes to complete which is so nice. The view from the top overlooks and it taller than most casinos. I would definitely go again and recommend it. It’s worth the price.

The High Roller Happy Half Hour is hands-down one of the fastest ways to get a strong buzz in Vegas. If you have a Caesars Rewards card, you can usually grab a deal on the regular ride and then upgrade to the open-bar cabin for around $25 — easy win. Great for a group of 5–10, especially around sunset or after dark when the Strip looks insane from up top. Our bartender was on it the whole time and even snapped some great photos for us. If you want a fun, quick, no-effort pregame in the sky, this is the move. Highly recommend

This was a cool experience. We got the tickets for the bar car. There’s only one bar car so we waited for a while for the car to come around and you also go with other groups. About 20 people were in ours. Offers great views of the strip. Would recommend.

The Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck at the Paris Las Vegas hotel offers an unforgettable experience, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and its surroundings from 460 feet above. This half-scale replica of the iconic French landmark is a popular attraction, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a taste of Paris while enjoying 360-degree views of the city and beyond. The observation deck on the 46th floor provides expansive vistas, especially stunning at night when the city lights up.
I’m really glad I visited the Eiffel Tower viewing deck during my visit to the Strip. The elevator ride is quite nice and if you’re standing in front of the elevator doors on the ride up you can take some cool video as it travels to the top. The views of the strip from the deck are very nice and you can see a lot of the other landmarks from there. I went during the day and I really enjoyed the view and I can only imagine the view if it was dark outside. It’s a great place to take cool photos.

Since we were staying at Paris Las Vegas, visiting the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck was a must after admiring it at sunrise and again at night when it lights up beautifully. Going up at night was an amazing experience—the tower looked stunning, and the 360° view of downtown Vegas from the deck was incredible. We entered around 11 pm (it’s open until midnight), so there wasn’t anyone at the entrance taking photos, which made entry quick, though we did wait about 10 minutes for the elevator. With the extreme heat warning, even the breeze felt warm and humid, but it’s absolutely worth a visit for a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of Vegas.

The experience in the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower was outstanding from beginning to end. We purchase our tickets in advance & went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't crowded. The tower entrance is conveniently located at the front door of the casino. The process was fairly quick & easy with a short wait for the elevator. The elevator operator was quite informative on the way up. The night view of the Las Vegas Strip from the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck is awesome. I had to adjust my phone to compensate for the fencing, however, I was still able to get some great pictures & videos. We were also able to get a good view of the Fountains of Bellagio.

I actually visited the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck twice—once during the day and again at night—and both experiences were amazing in their own way. At night, the 360° view of Vegas all lit up was just breathtaking, especially watching the Bellagio fountains from above. The process to get up was smooth and the elevator ride itself was pretty cool. Even with the fencing, I still managed to capture some awesome shots and videos. Whether you go solo like me or with friends, I highly recommend doing both day and night if you can. Totally worth it!

The way the water, lights, and music come together feels theatrical every time—and you don’t even need to be a guest to enjoy it. What I loved: • The music pairings are tasteful and dramatic. • Shows run frequently (every 15–30 minutes), especially at night. • Best viewed from across the street or from a Bellagio fountain-view room. • It’s free, iconic, and always draws a crowd for a reason. A few small drawbacks: • Crowded during peak times—get there early for a clear view. • Sound quality can vary depending on where you’re standing.

The Bellagio Fountains are simply mesmerizing! 💦✨ Watching them is pure joy — the graceful movements of the water, perfectly synchronized with calm, soothing music, create such a magical atmosphere. The lights add an extra touch of beauty, making the whole experience unforgettable. It’s the kind of place where you can just stand for hours, letting yourself relax and soak in the serenity. I highly recommend visiting — it’s a perfect escape to feel calm and at peace.

The Fountains of Bellagio are one of those Vegas moments you just can’t skip. The show feels almost cinematic as over 1,200 water jets dance across the 8.5-acre lake in perfect sync with music and lights. The tallest bursts reach an impressive 460 feet into the air. It’s a beautifully choreographed display that turns a simple stop on the Strip into a memorable experience.
Manikandan — Google review
The Bellagio Fountains are, without a doubt, one of Las Vegas's most breathtaking and essential attractions. Seeing them in person is an entirely different experience than watching a video; the sheer scale, timing, and power of the show are stunning. The choreography, perfectly synchronized to diverse music, turns simple water into a majestic performance that feels genuinely emotional.

The Fountains of Bellagio are one of the most iconic sights in Las Vegas. Set in front of the Bellagio Hotel, the water dances in sync with music and lights, creating a magical show that feels different every time. It’s free to watch and always draws a crowd, making it a must-see on the Strip. The atmosphere is romantic and exciting, whether you catch the show during the day or at night when the lights make it even more stunning. It’s the perfect spot to pause, take in the view, and enjoy a little Vegas magic.

love the fountain show 🥰 viewed 3x (coz we had to go look for a better view). super crowded but it’s outdoor so it’s fine. worth the long walk (from the treasure island). amazing!

I didn't stay at the Bellagio which is why I am giving it a 4 star. However their flower show was awesome and the pastry from the pastry shop was amazing. Which they had more options but what they had was great. Did water fountain show outside the Bellagio is great to watch but make sure to get a good spot early.

Botanical garden
Nature & Parks
The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a stunning atrium located within the luxurious Bellagio Resort & Casino. Throughout the year, a team of 120 horticulturists meticulously arrange thousands of flowers into breathtaking seasonal displays inspired by global events and natural themes. The 14,000-square-foot garden features vibrant plants, flowers, trees, gazebos, bridges, and ponds that change with each season.
This space was thoughtfully and beautifully curated for the fall season. It was vibrant and full of life. There were ample spaces to take photos if you don’t mind pausing to let people walk in front of you. The people visiting were extremely friendly. It felt like stepping in to a secret wonderland away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. I would recommend. My only complaint is I wish it were bigger.
Q H — Google review
Crowds permitting, this is a beautiful place to walk through. I love how it's always changing. The smell is pleasant, and you can really feast your eyes on all the flowers and sculptures. I also appreciate how the fountains use recycled rain water (I should have taken a picture of the sign for the specific).
GreenEyedGuide — Google review
The Bellagio Conservatory feels like something straight out of one of my thriller novels. As a thriller author, I’m always drawn to spaces that mix beauty with tension, and this one has that quiet, cinematic energy. It’s controlled chaos in a story. When I visited in November, it was set up with beautiful autumn colors. There’s a spitting frog, a pool with owls, and a giant green pumpkin surrounded by elegant place settings. Everything is absolutely stunning. It’s always busy in the evening, and honestly, I’ve never been here when it wasn’t. The main center display is incredible, showing off rich fall tones and detailed seasonal art. This is one of those places where you can’t help but stop and take it all in. Walking around the base display, there’s a huge tree and the massive pumpkin near the café area. Too bad the café seating isn’t open, because I’d love to sit there and work on one of my thriller novels. I took a slow-motion video of the owls perched beside the pumpkin, and another of the water fountain flowing from the pumpkin itself. The Bellagio Conservatory is one of those Vegas sights that never disappoints.

The Bellagio Conservatory is a true oasis in the middle of the Strip! The seasonal floral displays are absolutely stunning — every detail is beautifully designed, with vibrant colors, creative themes, and larger-than-life arrangements that change five times a year (Spring, Summer, Harvest, Winter, and Lunar New Year). It’s free to visit and open 24 hours a day, though early mornings or late evenings are the best times to avoid crowds. The combination of flowers, sculptures, and soft music makes it a peaceful escape from the Vegas bustle. Truly a must-see attraction inside the Bellagio — perfect for photos and a quick break between casino lights and shows. 🌸🌿✨

It was truly amazing. We were lucky to be there the last weekend of the fall display. It was so beautiful. And a bonus that it's free to walk through. It's a must stop!
Rachel — Google review
A must-see Vegas tradition! The Bellagio Conservatory is always stunning — it’s free to wander and perfect for taking photos or videos. Yes, it gets crowded, but it’s absolutely worth it. We visit every year, and the displays never disappoint — the flowers and seasonal décor are always breathtaking. If you have even a little extra time in Vegas, make sure to add this to your list. It’s one of those experiences that truly captures the magic of the city!
Blossom M — Google review
This was absolutely stunning and one of our favorite things to walk-through each day. We saw gardeners in there each morning, tending to all of the magnificent plants and displays. They had a mushroom theme goddess garden going, and I was completely amazed.

Wow! A beautiful space to take pictures, walk around and enjoy the exquisite Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Stunning stop by and enjoy the hard work and detail that goes into making something so magical for the public. I loved it! Something free to do solo or with family or friends.

KÀ by Cirque du Soleil

Mentioned on

Circus
Concerts & Shows
KÀ by Cirque du Soleil is a visually stunning and action-packed show located at the KA Theatre at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It's a unique Cirque experience, featuring a cinematic storyline that follows the epic tale of Imperial Twins separated by war. The show combines martial arts, acrobatics, and dance against the backdrop of ever-changing set designs and clever projection mapping.
This was my fourth time seeing KÀ, and it still amazes me. The rotating stage alone is mind-blowing—unlike anything else in any other Cirque show. The level of technical precision and creativity is just next-level. What sets KÀ apart is that it’s not just about stunts (though those are thrilling and executed flawlessly); there’s also a compelling storyline that ties everything together, making it feel more like an epic production than just a circus show. I’ve sat in the front row twice now, and the experience is incredibly immersive—you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. From the visuals to the sound to the energy of the performers, it’s a must-see. Highly, highly recommend, even if you’ve already seen other Cirque shows. KÀ is in a league of its own.
Kevin A — Google review
I've seen several Cirque du Soleil shows, and this is certainly no disappointment. Very well organized, beautiful color, vivid and spectacular. We sat in the center section, row F, but there's so much going on in the sides, I would recommend sitting in the back of the front section or the front of the second section. Honestly there's no bad seats, but if you want to be front and center, the back of the center section would be best to take it all in. Bon Voyage!
Jess — Google review
Absolutely amazing! KA by Cirque du Soleil is truly a masterpiece from start to finish. The performance was breathtaking the acrobatics, storytelling, visuals, and music were all on another level. Every scene was beautifully choreographed and kept me on the edge of my seat. The stage design and special effects are unlike anything I’ve ever seen pure magic! If you’re in Vegas, this is a must-see show. Unforgettable experience!
Hazel T — Google review
KÀ is less of a show and more of a revolutionary theatrical experience, easily deserving a 5-star rating. Cirque du Soleil has delivered a production that blends stunning acrobatics with groundbreaking, massive-scale stage mechanics, resulting in a cohesive and breathtaking narrative. The star of the production is the technical stagecraft. The sheer scale and rapid transformation of the performance platform—which shifts from horizontal to vertical, disappearing and reappearing—is truly astonishing. This constantly evolving environment serves as the backdrop for the show's central theme of conflict and separation. The acrobatic and martial arts performances are executed with flawless precision. While the narrative is non-verbal, the story is conveyed with clarity through powerful movement, costuming, and incredible visual design. Every sequence, from the vertical battle scenes to the floating bamboo forest, feels perfectly choreographed and deeply impactful. The sound design and score are integral, perfectly supporting the drama without overshadowing the performers. KÀ is a defining spectacle in Las Vegas entertainment, offering a level of artistic and engineering ambition that is rarely matched. It is an investment in a memorable, one-of-a-kind theatrical event.
Tensai G — Google review
The show itself was visually stunning and the acrobatics were incredible and definitely the highlight of the performance. The staging and effects were beautifully done and really immersive. The only downside is that the storyline was a bit hard to follow, so at times I wasn’t fully sure what was happening plot-wise. Still, it’s an impressive production overall and worth seeing for the visuals and athletic performances alone.
Katherine H — Google review
We have had the opportunity to have seen 5 Cirque Du Soleil shows (Mystere, Michael Jackson One, Auana, O, and Ka) and this was my 4th favorite of the 5. While it does have some of the acrobatics that have come to be synonymous with Cirque Du Soleil, it was not as impressive as the others. It does have somewhat of a storyline that is difficult to follow. The dialog is non-existent as they speak gibberish that has no meaning. I had high hopes for this show after the previous Cirque Du Soleil shows we’ve seen but it just didn’t deliver. As I’m writing this review my current ranking for these shows would be: 1. Mystere 2. Auana 3. O 4. Ka 5. Michael Jackson One The caveat to this being that we saw Mystere back in 2006 or 2007 so I am unable to speak to the quality of the show now. I do remember that there were much more impressive acrobatics and gymnastics than the other 4 but no real storyline.
M I — Google review
WOW!!! This was my 4th Cirque du Soleil show and I’m absolutely blown away! Honestly, I don’t understand people leaving bad reviews saying there wasn’t enough acrobatics. Sure, maybe there’s less of it than in some other Cirque shows, but that’s not the focus here, and not every show has to be all about risky stunts! Here’s what really stood out to me: - The stage technology is mind-blowing! Real arrows flying across the stage, hitting the floor right next to the main characters; a massive moving platform that changes shape, lighting, and even rotates 360° - pure genius! - The martial arts scenes are incredible. The final battle in the air was Absolutely brilliant - something I would’ve never even imagined. - The music gives you chills. The sound quality is insane, and the speakers are built into every seat so you’re literally inside the music! - The immersion is unreal. You genuinely feel like you’ve stepped into another world. There wasn’t a single dull moment - the 2 hours flew by like 20 minutes. As one of our friends said, “I’ve never tried mushrooms, but I think this is what people experience when they do.” That’s honestly the best way to describe how trippy and captivating some of the scenes are. There were 8 of us, and every single one left amazed. Don’t think twice - grab those tickets! In terms of technology, visuals, and martial arts choreography, Cirque du Soleil has truly outdone themselves with this one!
Tsova A — Google review
I’ve been to other Du Solei shows, this is by far the best! Every minute of it was incredible. The immersive experience, the music, the dynamic stage, the story, the performers… everything!… every detail was masterfully executed. I strongly recommend do not miss this show. Despite I paid for centered near the front seats, every seat has great views, even if you buy seats at the back you’ll have a great view.

Nelson Ghost Town is an abandoned gold mine that offers tours and features restored buildings with retro signs, photos, and relics. It has become a popular spot for Vegas destination weddings due to its unique and picturesque backdrop. The town showcases crashed airplanes, custom automobiles, mining equipment, skulls, and even some unusual surprises in the freezer. Visitors can explore the area for a small fee and may even catch a glimpse of the guest rooms.
I don't know where to start, from the hospitality to the amazing town, then the mine itself. Make sure you have at least a few hours to stop in explore take photos, then you have to do the mine tour! There's so many cool and antique things to see it's crazy. I've never seen such a collection in one place. From inside the store where you have to stop and look in every direction, even the ceiling. The town itself has so many cool buildings and vehicles. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Take lots of water it's so hot. You definitely need to go here whether you're a photographer, a mine enthusiast or just like old and unique things. There's literally something here everyone will love. Im already looking forward to planning a return trip. GO ITS SO WORTH IT

Stop by the general store 1st! The owner will greet you, ask your intentions and give you important info about visiting. 😉 Worth the drive to see the history here; eclectic and somewhat ominous really. Drive 5 miles further to beautiful Lake Mead.

Absolutely loved visiting Nelson Ghost Town! It’s such a unique and fascinating place with so much history and character. Walking around felt like stepping back in time—old buildings, vintage cars, and tons of interesting antiques and photo spots everywhere. The staff was super friendly and shared great stories about the town’s past. It’s a photographer’s dream and a fun little adventure just outside Las Vegas. Highly recommend stopping by if you love hidden gems, quirky spots, and a glimpse of the Old West!

Nelson is a must see, especially for photographers. There are some unwritten rules. Please be sure to stop in and see the owners first, If its just to give them a tip, or pay for a day of photo shoots, it's the right thing to do. The owners a friendly amazing people who have done a lot to maintain the town and its artifacts. Take a tour of the mine when they offer it. It is worth every minute, and it is cooler underground.

Amazing venue for folks who love the 'Wild West's, classic motor vehicles and memorabilia, and ghost town 'eerie' places... This place has also featured in many Hollywood movies so for the film buffs out where, this place ticks all the boxes

We then did the mine tour and that was pretty cool too. Bruce was our tour guide for that cool activity and he was amazing as well. We actually got to meet the owners and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. If Im not mistaking we paid a total of 375 for the whole experience and Id definitely come back to do the whole thing over again. After our tour they recommended we go a few miles down the road to visit a popular lake and we loved that as well. Thanks for making Vegas an amazing experience for Us !

Lake Mohave

Bodies of Water
Lake Mohave is a picturesque reservoir located on the Colorado River that offers a variety of recreational activities such as swimming, skiing, scuba diving, boating and fishing. It's known to be one of the hottest places in the United States so visitors are advised to bring plenty of sunblock. Despite this, it's a great spot for picnics and taking a refreshing dip in the river. Many have enjoyed their time here including families who come during spring break.
Lake Mohave is the ultimate summer paradise in the middle of the desolate American southwest! This reservoir, almost 70 miles long, is accessible via multiple public marinas and is an amazing place to boat, jet ski, kayak, swim, and explore the waters! When we visited, we rented a boat and jet ski out of Katherine’s Landing on the Arizona side, and we boated all around all day - it was so much fun! It was the peak of summer and about 120 degrees - it gets HOT here, so be sure to bring plenty of water and use sunscreen!! On hot summer days you can expect this lake to be packed with boaters and jet skiers everywhere. You have to be observant when driving because some jet skiers like to get really close to boats and accidents can happen. This is why we sought out a quiet part of the lake away from everyone else where we could enjoy it in all its glory! Not too far from Katherine’s Landing, on the western side of the side, we found some awesome coves that had no people. If you search “Roman Cove” on Google Maps Satellite view, and look at the small cove directly south of it, that’s the one we went to and were there for over 2 hours with no signs of any other people. I am sure there could be better spots on the lake, but this was a great location! No waves, quiet, and a perfect place to bring your family! The water is extremely warm in the summer months, but still quite refreshing when it’s well over 100 degrees. Again, remember, bring water and sunscreen (and food so you don’t have to go back to a marina to eat). I highly recommend coming to the lake if you’re in the area because nothing compares to it! Go to a place like Katherine’s Landing, rent a boat or jet ski, and have fun!!

I haven’t been there yet, but my son has and he said that’s the place to go not the river. The river is running dirty and the current is fast and strong. Lake Mojave is quite serene has a nice swimming beach and has rentals.

Always a fun place to get some sun, relax with a few beers and do some swimming or boating. It was a perfect combo of 100° heat, a cool breeze and really cold water where it felt great while being in the water but nice on the beach as well. I come out here usually twice a year and enjoy it everytime.

I go to Lake Mohave quite often. Most of the time to fish. It's a great place to take the family and spend the day cruising around in the boat, jet skiing or just lounging in one of the many nice coves or beaches. The water is colder than the lake but nice and clean and crystal clear.

A great place to be in the desert! So close to Laughlin. The shallow & natural temperature water is the best part for family with kids like mine. Only few minutes drive from main riverside hotels. The entrance fee is a cool offer.. for a single car $20 for 7 day pass & $44 for whole year! Also this place has several shores/beach some are specify for boats only. Best place to camp, have picnics, swim, dive, ride boats & water jet, but over all get lost from streets and have fun with your love ones. But be careful! Summer could be real hot!

We went kayaking on the river there and it was absolutely spectacular. The views were amazing, the history was really cool to learn about. Our tour guid was amazing and we will definitely be going back. Emerald Cave was really cool. The water was so clear and clean. The water was freezing but that was to be expected since it is snow melt. We had lunch on the side of the rocks and it was perfect. Kayaking was a little difficult but we managed and had a great time! I wouldn’t take kids kayaking unless they are experienced. We saw about 3 kids flip and the water is freezing.

This is such a beautiful lake! I keep my boat nearby and go there often with friends and family. The water temperature is very comfortable for swimming right now and the air temperature is around 115° during the day. The trick is to wear a cotton t-shirt and go in the water often with the shirt on and use it as a cooling device

We stopped by on our way to Laughlin. The workers were super friendly and the vibes where very chill. We stopped by on a Friday night. It was slow a couple of people drinking and playing darts just having a good time. This is a good place to stop for a quick rest. Drinks are complimentary when playing slots. Bathrooms were nice and clean and they have a Denny's open till midnight. Don't forget to tip when you get your drink! :)

Won a little bit on machine blackjack like 150 so ended well for me. They don’t have tables just machines and basically a bar that serves drinks and food. The staff at the bar were professional and courteous and they’re also the ones who cash out the winnings for ya and make the delicious drinks. This place is a bit far for me go as a Californian but makes for a nice stop in the middle of nowhere kinda.

This was in 2016 and we were passing through but I never forgot this place. I believe that Mitch Marner needs to take a ride down from Vegas for the BLT!’

It's midnight, and these two are outside smoking a cigarette and hanging out while there people are standing in line, me for over five minutes, people before me said ten, I walked out and took pics of them in my car while they laughed and still hung out outside while the people inside continued to have to wait. I went next door, got my energy drink and tipped the girl for doing her job. We're traveling through, most people are, and need to get an energy drink or whatever and get back on the road, one of you can atleast take care of the line, that type of work ethic and attitude is unacceptable, and just pathetic. Sorry for their customers with these ones on the clock.. The gas station blond next door atleast got a couple bucks out of it..

On our way from Las Vegas to Temecula we stopped for refreshments and snacks. The store was very welcoming and kudos to all the staff who welcome everyone who stepped in.

Cindy and I had a late morning breakfast at TERRIBLE’S ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT on Saturday, 14 April 2018. Also, we met and shared our mealtime with our friend, Cricket, who lives in Searchlight. The restaurant is located in the small town of Searchlight, Nevada about an hour from Las Vegas. TERRIBLE’S ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT is located right on the main street with easy access into spacious, level parking lots, even for big rigs. Entry into the restaurant goes through part of the casino which, unfortunately, is very smoky and I don’t like that at all. There are booths and tables available. We chose a booth that was located further from the casino part. I ordered the Corned beef hash with breakfast potatoes and rye toast. We had coffee with lots of cream. The Corned beef hash was tasty and the potatoes were good. And, the coffee was delicious. Our cups got topped off a couple of times. However, I didn’t like the rye toast as it appeared to be more a marbled kind of toast rather than the kind of rye toast I like. Nonetheless, Cricket enjoyed my toast as she used it to dunk into her coffee. Cindy and Cricket enjoyed their meals. We all thought that the portions and prices were reasonable. And, the presentation of the food was good. We were glad that the restaurant has an A grade from the Clark County Health Department. Our waitress was polite, prompt and helpful. We will definitely eat at TERRIBLE’S ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT again in the future.
