Very family friendly.. there is a play ground with picnic tables . Pavilion wheelchair accessible with lots of tables. volleyball net .the swimming area is closed for repairs. Bathrooms very clean .Trails are very well marked . Views are amazing ! Picnic areas along trails with storm shelters .

Filmore Glenn State Park is a well-maintained park with good staff, costing $8 to enter. It features a great pavilion, swimming, and camping areas. I chose the recommended 1.5-mile Gorge Trail for a scenic hike, but it was cut short by a hazardous, out-of-order bridge; a warning sign at the trailhead would have been appreciated. The park also hosts weddings, with restrooms and another pavilion visible from the Gorge Trail. Overall, it was a good mid-day hike experience.
Ryan K — Google review
The trails and waterfalls are beautiful. Well worth a bit of hiking. The road to the upper area is extremely rough so be warned. The Cowshed Falls are a must see. The camping is open field right on top of each other at the road's edge.
Michael M — Google review
Gorge trail was awesome, both rim trails were very scenic. All trails were well maintained. South rim was moderate hike. North rim from entrance is a steep hike up stairs to start then nice trail after. Also appreciate all the tables and benches along the rim trails especially right at the top of both rim trails. Perfect resting spot after the climbs.
Tim S — Google review
Nature's wonderful spot, there's tables & some grills first comes get them 😁, bathrooms n showers, nice playground, 1 hoop but it's located in the parking lot, usually people don't park near, there's camping sites available, there's long & multiple trails to choose, the trails are not leveled, some stairs in areas, multiple wooden bridges, stunning views, you will connect with nature, 1 of the trails you walk most of the time by the water, is so relaxing 😌, they have a seasonal natural pool, no chlorine or stagnant water, with a designated area to jump in while the lifeguards are on watch, is truly a gem, make sure to bring trash bags with you to keep clean this amazing place. There's a small fee for cars. 1 volleyball net.
Zajira R — Google review
Fabulous walk and stunning views along the Gorge Trail. Not a difficult hike. Lots of waterfalls and shade.
Monica F — Google review
One of the nicest State Park campgrounds I've been to. Sites are huge but the campground itself is small. Great hiking trails
Gregory H — Google review
Fillmore Glen State Park is a very nice state park. The best part of the park is hiking the gorge trail. It has beautiful scenery, picturesque waterfalls, and is nice and cool on a summer day. The gorge trail is a moderate hike, with few challenging spots. If you are just hiking the gorge trail it is a 2.5 mile out and back hike. The trails around the gorge are nice, but don’t offer the same beauty that the gorge trail does. Compared to other similar NY State Parks like Watkins Glen, this trail is easy and much less crowded. Parking here for day use is easy. There are campsites in the park and they looked nice. Add this hike to the list of the most gorgeous places in Central New York.

All was great. My husband was really enjoyed it our time in here. The scenery was pretty, the service was great, for the wine there was something he didn’t like but there’s one wine he enjoy it he bought one bottle home. Pizza was also good seems homemade. Nice place to hang out and chill.

This winery is part of Farm Fest & I had never been to a winery so, we went today. Gorgeous grounds, wonderful staff & the owner was so nice & informative. We were able to take a beautiful tour with the owner & learned how winery is made. From root to your belly! I thought it was very interesting!

This winery has an amazing view facing the Finger Lakes with a patio to sit, drink, eat and relax . It was my first time vising a vineyard, and I was impress, Beautifully manicured garden and a Relaxing Gazebo seating area to taste the local family owned wine. I had such a beautiful experience just walking through the grapevines and just tasting a few, from right off the vine.
Amo F — Google review
The property and views are great. The sweet Riesling was my favorite, the reds I tried were pretty good.
Ryan P — Google review
Anyela's Vineyard is the gem of Vineyards in Skaneateles! It is also the only one I am aware of given the high cost of land in the area. This large vineyard offers some great views, a nice facility and the best reds I have ever had in New York State! All of the (4) reds I tried were amazing and unique. The whites were a hit a well and on par or better than most others in the region. We came at an off peak time of year, but we can see how this location would be packed during prime season. They have a jazz festival with attracts thousands of visitors each year. There is a specialty room (lower level accessed from outside) which is available for parties. Carter was our wine expert on our visit. From the area and knowledgeable not only about the winery but the lake and geography of the area as well. Who knew it is the finger lake at the highest elevation and boasts some of the cleanest water in the United States. He added interesting insight to our experience. We will return again! HINT: If you are looking for an excuse to visit the area (Summer concerts and live music along with a Charles Dickenson Christmas Carol events during the weekend (the later in town). The area is beautiful and somewhere worthy of checking out!

Good service, nice flight sampler of white wine and beautiful space indoor and out. We were able to enjoy a stunning fall day on the patio overlooking the lake.

Taughannock Falls State Park

Park
Taughannock Falls State Park is a must-visit destination with its impressive 215-foot waterfall and miles of picturesque hiking trails. The park offers various outdoor activities including camping, beach swimming, fishing, and winter sports. Nearby attractions such as Finger Lakes National Forest, Buttermilk Falls State Park, and Robert H. Treman State Park provide additional opportunities for outdoor recreation and natural beauty.
In my road trip exploring upstate New York I decided to stop by Taugannock Falls. I saw pictures online and it looked pretty cool so I told myself I'll stop by. I was not ready for how absolutely stunning this park is. Walking to the falls itself is quite easy and the whole way there you have a breathtaking view of the mighty gorge. I was essentially looking at a wall of rock hundreds of feet high. It was stunning to see such a site especially in the northeast. Usually something like this is out in Utah or Arizona. I got to the end of the trail and was absolutely in awe of how beautiful the landscape was. The falls itself was stunning albeit not a lot of water was falling when I visited. But just being surrounded by natural walls hundreds of feet high was magical. It makes you really appreciate mother nature. Don't forget to drive a quick few minutes to the upper view! It's a minute walk to the vantage point from the parking lot and is just as striking!
George F — Google review
This is a dramatically scenic set of trails! We hiked the Rim Trail and enjoyed spectacular views of the gorge and the falls. Be prepared for a challenging walk with a lot of elevation change. We did the Rim Trail clockwise, but the park actually advises going counter-clockwise for a more gradual climb. We learned why the hard way: the start of the clockwise route is a very steep rise with lots of steps. Trust the park's advice—it would have been less effort to hike it the recommended way! A quick note: we couldn't hike the Gorge Trail because it closes mid-October, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. The Rim Trail itself is well-marked and fenced, so there's no danger of accidentally getting near the edge. Overall, the views are truly stunning and worth the effort.
Joshua S — Google review
This is a wonderful place to get outside and enjoy a hike. The views of the waterfall are magnificent. It was well worth the three hour drive to get there. Another natural wonder in New York State has been crossed of my bucket list! Yeah! 😃😊
Kristine S — Google review
This is a great place to visit! It is a beautiful easy hike thru a wide gorge to the waterfall! And yes, you can explore the bottom of the gorge along the way! Popular hike, so best to go off peak times! There is also a nice, quiet hike along the rim. Part of it is fenced off at the rim for safety. There are several views of the gorge below. You can park at the gorge entrance (bathroom across the street) or along the rim at a waterfall view point (bathroom).
George A — Google review
An amazing place. The walk took about an hour, but we thoroughly enjoyed the natural beauty and took so many wonderful photos and videos. I think visitors see completely different views at different times of the year. If you love nature, this park is definitely worth a visit.
Maxim A — Google review
Nice place for hiking or walking with kids. Trial to the falls are very easy and flat. Prapobly you need about one hour to complete the hiking, depending on your speed. But is worth it falls on the end are very nice. When I was there water level was pretty low. Will be even better when we get much more water flow.
Andrzej — Google review
This park has some nice trails. One of the trails leads to a gorgeous, tall waterfall that is an easy hike. There is an overlook of the falls that you can drive to. There is a small gift shop that dis not have power when we arrived so we couldn't buy a souvenir. That was sad but overall, it was a great day.
Christine G — Google review
Amazing state park. The gorge trail for this park in my opinion is a lot better than the Watkin glens trail. There is a big water fall at the end. Very great scenic views. The trail itself is very wide and easy to walk. There's less people and a smaller, fuller waterfall near the beginning.

This is my go to place when I want clarity and peace of mind!! Walking the 3 mile trail especially now that they replaced all the wood on the boardwalk, it's absolutely beautiful. The fresh air, the different kinds of trees. Just taking it all in. Ohhh n the main building inside is nice too. Clean restrooms, a bird watching enclosed area, a book store. Great place to spend a day at!!
Sandee — Google review
I used to come here as a kid and this was my first time in maybe 20 years. I hiked the bog trail and it was beautiful. I thought it was really neat that there were pitcher plants growing wild along the trail. Just on a short walk I saw a kingfisher, redwing blackbird, woodpecker, and maybe 10 chipmunks, not bad for such a short trail. I also appreciate that they are trying to keep it natural and don’t allow dogs (I love dogs just not on nature trails). Signage was good. The trails were clear, clean (no litter) and quiet even though the place seemed very busy!
MD R — Google review
Beautiful trails. The lake loop is amazing now! Well done on rebuilding the walkway! Overall, this is a great place to get away for a couple of hours to relax, do photography, bird watch and enjoy nature.

Took a walk around the updated trail around the lake. Beautiful day, dry footing everywhere and finally some safety measures on the raised wooden platforms/walkways. Much harder to just step or fall off them! Low bug day, lol. Very nice improvement to the lake walk. $5 ENTRANCE CASH OR CREDIT
Tracey ( — Google review
A great place to get back to nature and enjoy the outdoors. Easy to walk trails, plenty of signage to keep you on track as well. Rented canoes for a Scout outing. Great experience, and everything was included from paddles to life jackets.
Jeremiah J — Google review
Lots of interesting paths and plants; some paths have informational signs and some have benches. There is a raised viewing platform (with stairs) along one path. Not sure how handicap-friendly the paths are. Saw few animals, but my companion has seen some on prior visits. Nice staff at main building. Seriously needs trail markers including path names and distances, especially to direct visitors back to the parking lot.

Sights & Landmarks
The Harriet Tubman Home Museum is the former residence of a renowned abolitionist who was born into slavery but later became an activist. She rescued numerous enslaved individuals through her involvement in the Underground Railroad, with 70 people being freed under her leadership across 13 missions. The museum offers an intriguing insight into this important aspect of American history and is a must-see for anyone interested in learning about the struggles faced by slaves and those fighting for their freedom.
I didn't get to take the tour, but just seeing it and walking around the grounds was magical. My service dog was welcomed. The docent was very considerate, speaking clearly and using hand signs for numbers as I am deaf.
BJ M — Google review
This was a wonderful soul storing moment. Being able to walk into the past in the present felt really surreal. I grew up in Mississippi with an abundance of stories about Harriet Tubman. I was honored and humbled , by my visit to her house. The rich legacy of her house and all that it represented. I definitely plan to return once her house is renovated.
Travis P — Google review
Oh my goodness, the tour guide could have his one man show! Very entertaining and such a great informational tour. The first hour is the guide, Paul, telling us about Harriet’s life. In his words, “a home without a story is just a building”. After the story telling, we saw the inside of the Home for the Aged and walked the property. It was a great time! Well worth the visit! I also, a white middle aged woman learned a lot about the PC words to use.
Jenn G — Google review
We enjoyed an excellent tour with an terrific guide. We learned so much about the amazing life of Harriet Tubman. She will always be our hero. Loved the huge timeline sign...pics attached.
M M — Google review
The tour is 100% worth a stop! Rev. Paul tells the true story of Harriet's life and the importance of preserving her story and legacy. History classes do not teach her full story and it deserves to be told!
Samantha F — Google review
I can only echo what others have already said! Paul is truly a one man show, I enjoyed every minute he guarantees that everyone will learn something that you didn’t know, and that is for absolute certain ! Just be sure to call ahead and reserve your tour time because you don’t want to miss it ! (Tours start at 10 am and 2 pm, you should look at the website for more info)

Words cannot adequately describe how wonderful this experience was. Highly recommend. Paul is a fantastic storyteller and walks you through her amazing life. Allow time to thoroughly enjoy this. His presentation and then the walk through of the home took approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours and it was worth it. I learned so much and the space felt very honoring. Make time to visit ABC hear the fulness of Harriet’s story.

Additionally, the area surrounding the park offers a variety of attractions including Watkins Glen International Racetrack, Taughannock Falls, Corning Museum of Glass, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and restaurants.
Such a beautiful hike. Being in a gorge like this is a one of a kind experience. Trails are excellently maintained and marked clearly. Staff at the visitor center were very helpful. The entire thing is under 1.5 miles, so you can explore all the trails and see everything this place has to offer in 1 day. Also seems to have a shuttle maybe just on weekends and it's a very accessible hike/ sights for all ages.
Alex W — Google review
Great views, fall colors at its peak. And no matter when you hike the gorge trail, it’s always wet and muddy so dress appropriately with hiking shoes. We ended up doing the gorge trail 3 times back and forth coz it’s so pretty. And then did the rim trail too taking the Jacob ladder 150-180 steps down to gorge trail again. Visiting here 10 years we felt there is a new construction happening. Infact the start of the gorge trail is blocked and there is a detour on the rim trail to get to the gorge trail currently. Parking lot is $10 day parking, which can be used in any other finger lakes state parks.
Shruti S — Google review
I traveled all the way from Canada just to see Watkins Glen State Park, and it was truly worth every mile. Visiting during the fall made it even more magical the vibrant colors of the leaves against the dark stone walls and cascading waterfalls created a scene straight out of a painting. Walking through the Gorge Trail felt peaceful and unreal at the same time. The crisp autumn air, the golden light, and the gentle sound of rushing water made it an experience I’ll never forget. Every corner was picture-perfect, yet no photo could capture how it felt to be there. Watkins Glen in fall is pure perfection calm, colorful, and full of life. I left with a heart full of gratitude and a deep wish to return again.
Talat S — Google review
Start-to-end stunning views and modest trail length on the 1.5 mile Gorge Trail make this a perfect family hike with younger kids. We brought a group of eight with four children under 10 and everyone loved the experience. It took about an hour-and-a-half with plenty of photo and snack breaks. The Gorge Trail is mostly stone and well-maintained. We took the North Rim Trail back and it was a lot less crowded than the popular Gorge Trail. Lots of steps make for a vigorous climb at times, but it was all manageable for our 6-year-old and 7-year-old. The many waterfalls keep everyone motivated to push forward, and the rock walls make for incredible scenery throughout. One of the best hikes I’ve ever taken.
Michael S — Google review
Came here camping with a friend over the summer and we had a great time. The gorge was beautiful and the walk was pretty nice, other than the last part of climbing all the stairs back up to the parking lot. The pool was nice to hang out in, but they only had one diving board open so there was always at least 3 people waiting to go on. The weekend we went was packed so we ended up with a campsite out in the open on the grass and no trees blocking our view of our neighbors so I suggest checking the campsite before going because we weren’t aware of that
Micah C — Google review
This place doesn’t disappoint! Beautiful waterfalls/foliage and well-maintained. I would recommend hiking shoes because it does get a bit wet/slippery on some spots. Lots of steps, but still pretty easy. Takes 1-2 hours done leisurely. Many spots to take a breather or to relax and enjoy the scenery. I’d recommend doing early and a day after it rains is best.
Kimmy — Google review
Visited Watkins Glen State Park during peak fall season, and it was one of the most breathtaking experiences I’ve had. The gorge trail is simply magical , waterfalls flowing through layered rock walls, colorful leaves carpeting the paths, and mist rising from the falls made it feel straight out of a postcard. The park was fairly busy, but completely worth it. The trails are well-maintained and easy to follow, though be ready for stairs (lots of them!). Every turn offers another photo-worthy spot. Parking was easy to find near the main entrance, and restrooms and picnic areas were clean. If you can, go early in the morning to beat the crowds and catch the sunlight filtering through the gorge, it’s unforgettable. A must-visit, especially during fall foliage season! 🍂🌊

Breathtaking views! The waterfalls, stone stairs, misty atmosphere, and light rain — what more could you ask for in an outdoorsy adventure? It does get busy, but it’s absolutely worth it. If you have balance issues like I do, I highly recommend bringing a walking stick. And if you’re not super physically fit, I’d suggest starting from the upper entrance and going down the stairs rather than climbing up — there are over 800 steps, and I know I couldn’t have managed them going the other way! We spent about three hours on the Gorge Trail, between walking, climbing stairs, and stopping often to soak in the scenery and take photos. The entire place feels almost magical — fairy-like, if you believe in that kind of thing. There’s even a spot that looks like a doorway; I called it the “door to the fairy realm.” This was truly an unforgettable experience and a must-do hiking adventure! And before you leave town, make sure to snap a photo at the phone booth — it’s a must-pic moment!

Ontario Orchards is a must-visit gem within 50 miles, offering an incredible variety of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and more. Visitors rave about the delicious peaches and apples, as well as the apple cider and baked treats. The market also features an array of other products like fudge, honey, maple items, spices, and even dog supplies. Additionally, guests can enjoy a serene overnight stay in their beautiful apple orchard through Harvest Hosts.
We go here all seasons for everything from Christmas trees to snacks and baked goods. Always friendly people around to help you and they also have excellent gifts, fruit trees, and plants. Really a lot to like about it!

absolutely delicious everything!!! of course their cider and apple products are fantastic but their cheeses and pastries of other fruit varieties are so utterly wonderful. 10/10 recommend. also hosts great events on the grounds and supports local vendors. will definitely visit again ❤️

This is my husband's favorite doughnut spot. If your timing is right, you can get freshly made, hot doughnuts on the weekend. Of course, they have tons of other great things as well. Landscaping and bedding plants, abundant produce, and great cheeses to name just a few.

We stopped at this farm market recently on our way home from Oswego. They offer a large variety of items for sale in a somewhat compact space. Besides a large selection of fruits and vegetables, they also have baked goods, ice cream, fudge, honey, maple products, spices, packaged nuts, a variety of vinegars, bird feeders and bird seed, dog foods and dog supplies, house plants, lawn & garden decorations, canning supplies, wind chimes, craft beer supplies, and on and on. They also have an on-site nursery with outdoor plants and shrubs. Something for everyone, and I'm sure I left out some things. Prices were a bit high for a number of items, but that's probably not unexpected. They offer a large parking lot with lots of free parking. A fun place to shop and browse. This property is located on a curve, so pulling out into oncoming traffic as you leave may need some special attention.

We absolutely love stopping here on our trips to our lake house. It is a must! The bakery treats and amazing. The cheese - top notch. Plus all of the fun options for snacks (trail mixes, candies, etc) is second to none.

I met up with my family at this must stop farm shop overflowing with mums, pumpkins, gourds, corn, produce galore and so much more! This is a genuine farm experience, the pumpkins are the largest I've seen for sale this season and the mums are in full bloom in brilliant colors of all kinds! My son enjoyed fresh baked goods and apple cider. No one left empty handed! We headed over to the Fall Jamboree and enjoyed the festivities there as well! Tasty steak sandwiches, Mac and cheese with bacon from the bbq food truck and Wine Slushies from Ashley's were all delish! Pumpkin painting, make your own scarecrows, animals to visit, tons of fun for kids! A must stop farm stand and pick your own orchard! Take the hilly drive through the fall foliage to check out this hidden gem! Jam packed with all fall produce and fresh baked goods with the fresh scent of the pies, donuts, cakes, and giant cinnamon buns and much more, wafting throughout this amazing farm stand as you shop! Many decorative items for fall and Christmas season as well! Fudge, nuts, and all the seasonal treasures you can imagine! I left with a box full of goodies. Help was just a little short even early on a weekday but I can imagine it’s been a super busy season. I was going to go back for a bunch of pumpkins but it seemed they were overwhelmed. I definitely will make the drive again! Ontario Orchard is a staple on my list for Fall Festivities! Another great farm stand with pumpkins, gourds, mums, fresh farm produce, veggies and so much more! Fresh baked goods baked on sight. The lines are long on the weekend but they are fully staffed and move quickly or take a ride during the week. It's a nice drive through the hills and this authentic rustic farm has so much to offer!

Awesome outdoor market with alot of fresh produce and locally sourced meats. They have huge gift section and it looks to be seasonal. Nice staff plenty of parking Price are reasonable. They have a large selection of bake goods which are baked on site.

The store was very well stocked with all types of delicious produce and groceries. We purchased some fresh fruits including delicious peaches and cherries, as well as some prepared foods to stock our pantry. We camped overnight in their orchard as guests of the Harvest Hosts Program. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ontario Orchards near Oswego, NY. As noted by others, the beautiful and secluded campsite is about 5 miles away from the store. The very quiet and serene campsite is located between an apple orchard and Christmas tree grove. The parking was mostly level firm grass, and we were surrounded by birds and wildflowers and were treated to a gaggle of turkeys with their chicks the following morning. We were somewhat hesitant about parking in the grass as there were very heavy rains that afternoon, but the grassy parking area is actially very firm with gravel underneath and we had no problems whatsoever parking and maneuvering our 28ft motorhome. Be sure to bring insect repellent as you are completely surrounded by nature. Fairhaven Beach State Park, and the Sterling Nature Center on the bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario are nearby. We had a very pleasant stay, and I hope to be able to return again.

Knapp Winery, located in the Finger Lakes region of New York, is a popular destination for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. The vineyard's restaurant offers an eclectic and gourmet menu featuring dishes made with fresh, local ingredients sourced from nearby farms and their own garden. Guests can enjoy their meals with wine flights or pairings while taking in the picturesque views of the estate vineyards from the outdoor patio shaded by grapevines.
We came for the anniversary celebration. The rainstorms did not stop the live music; vendors moved onto the covered porch. Our party of 10 had a late lunch in the restaurant. The Knapp burger was delicious. Bought bottles of my new favorite red blend, Profondo Rosso. The landscaping and flowers on the grounds are gorgeous.

Knapp’s became a fast favorite among our group. Our visit was awesome. Our server for the tasting was so nice and knowledgeable, she was able to give us in-depth descriptions of each wine we were tasting. Definitely the best experience we had on our trip in terms of learning about the wines themselves. They served yummy local cheese and crackers to snack on in between tasting!
Mr W — Google review
Our favorite winery in the area! Jordan was the best! She made the wine tasting even more fun with her great personality and wine knowledge. Fabulous wines and reasonably priced.
Charlotte G — Google review
The winery itself is fantastic, the staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and make the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Wait times for both food and service were long, and the quality of the dishes was inconsistent. The aesthetics are an easy win, the layout and presentation are inviting, but the food simply doesn’t measure up. For instance, I was asked how I wanted my burger cooked, only for it to arrive completely different than requested. If the kitchen can’t deliver on that option, I’d rather they not ask. I’m usually pretty easygoing, but for the venue and the price point, I expected more. The fries were another letdown: half undercooked and soggy, half overcooked with a dense, raw center. The drinks were good, but when the food quality is so uneven, the bill felt almost insulting. To make matters worse, we had to physically track down staff just to settle the check, waiting about 45 minutes with no service. That happened more than once, both to request the check and then again to have the card processed. All of this was especially disappointing because it followed an excellent wine tasting experience. Even after a couple of cocktails and a bit of a wine buzz, the food and service issues were too glaring to overlook. From a quality standpoint, the restaurant simply didn’t deliver, and that’s what ultimately pushed me to leave this review.

A rating of 5 does not do this place justice. Gorgeous, 1st class interior venues. Tables are set with glasses, napkins and wine lists - so inviting! Tastings come with a bread, cheese and dip snack tray. Sheri, our server, was absolutely wonderful!! Very personable and knowledgeable about the wines. We were privileged to talk to Vanessa, the wine maker there. She had a great story of her life path. Bought several bottles to enjoy later. Also a restaurant there to enjoy!
Mike S — Google review
I love Knapp! Such a wide selection of wine. Definitely try the ice wine, it’s out of this world! They gave us delicious local cheese and crackers and our DD some complementary local grape juice. After our flight they let us try a few more that we were curious about. One of my favorite stops on Cayuga!
Lena B — Google review
The staff at Knapp Winery was exceptionally helpful. We were shopping for gifts to give to family and friends. Their staff show great patience and kindness in answering each of our questions. It was truly a remarkable customer experience. They also have a beautiful flower garden between the tasting room and the bistro. Thanks so much for everything!
Robert W — Google review
This was not my favorite venue in the region. 🫢 I just really didn't like the building which is not air conditioned and being open to the outside I was annoyed with flies🪰 during my tasting.😖 The wines are good.🍷 I have enjoyed all of the wines on my visits. 😋More so than when I visited California. And the servers💁🏻‍♂️ are very well educated 👨🏻‍🏫on their products.🍇 This property also has a restaurant, which is air conditioned. And has a lovely outside patio overlooking the vineyard. 🍇 I would recommend a glass 🍷 and something to eat🌮 over the tasting🫢 They have an excellent gift shop!🎁🛍️

Watkins Glen International is a renowned road-racing venue featuring a 3.4-mile course that hosts various events, including NASCAR races, the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, and the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix. The raceway also offers tours for fans to experience the thrill of the track firsthand. Visitors can enjoy wine and beer festivals, vintage grand prix races, and concert weekends at Watkins Glen International Racetrack nearby.
A Rocky Start Turned into an Unforgettable Weekend at The Glen! Don't let our initial troubles deter you from visiting Watkins Glen for a NASCAR weekend—it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Our trip started with a significant hiccup: we arrived to find another group had mistakenly set up in our reserved camping spot. The situation was complicated, as resolving it would have meant asking twelve other campers to pack up and shift their sites. Just when we thought our weekend was off to a terrible start, the track staff stepped in and demonstrated what true customer service is all about. They were incredible. While it took about two hours to sort everything out, they went above and beyond, ultimately setting us up with an amazing track-side camping spot that was even better than our original one. Once we were settled, the weekend was perfect. The event itself, the iconic track, the energy of the fans, and all the surrounding festivities were simply amazing. If you're a NASCAR fan, I can't recommend this trip enough. Mark your calendar for the Watkins Glen race weekend—you're guaranteed to have a great time.

"The Glen" is the best. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was camping and found the toilets and showers well maintained and supplied. Free pump-out is an added bonus. Grounds are well kept and I smiled when I saw more than one attendant pick up litter instead of walking by it. Shows pride of place. There's a new convenience store that had all my camping needs. I was there 4 days. I dropped one star because, being my first visit I was unfamiliar with the camping spot numbering system, but figured it out. Also, the maps that are placed throughout the venue don't show, "You are here." Still, I feel I will be returning yearly. Great venue, great time.

This was my first time at the Glen & I was very pleased with my visit for the IMSA 6 hour race. They allow dogs in certain areas so it was nice to bring my pups with me along the ride. The whole place was clean and everyone was very kind. You have access to so many areas of the track which is surprising considering many other places require pit passes to see certain things, but it was all included with GA tickets. Overall wonderful time & awesome track to watch the races!

Fantastic track to drive. I wish the paddock and facility otherwise was nicer like some other tracks I frequent.

It's been a while since I been here.. I noticed some upgrades!! They were nice to see.. bathrooms were kept clean....I was however disappointed in the fact that the seats my wife and I had were sticky from soda or beer from the race before.. we had to go spend $15 each for two seat cushions so we could sit. There was trash all over the stands aswell.. maybe they were short staffed and couldn't clean it all... also Nascar's rules definitely has changed the sport.. but still overall was an enjoyable day

Watkins Glen is awesome! NASCAR weekend is great but there's much more to it. You can drive your personal car around the track on certain weekends. They host vintage weekend, Ferrari challenge, Transam, vintage and many more! It has racing for all types of fans. Beautifully taken care of, friendly staff, it is one of the best tracks in North America to attend. Located near many other attractions such as the gorges, waterfalls, and wineries even non racing friends will find a place to enjoy in this area. What are you waiting for?
Nicholas S — Google review
Great raceway! I recommend bringing headphones to listen to the race. You’ll only see your turn and it helps to keep up. We were very close to the cars so never missed a pass. We got right in, showed up 2 hours early. They have a lot to keep you entertained. Expect about an hour to get out though.
Francis A — Google review
Watkins Glen International Raceway was an amazing track to go to. I had never been to a road course race before, and I was excited to see what it had to offer in person. The merch haulers had many wristband free autograph sessions for the fans to get. I bought the pre race pass thinking I would be able to get into the red carpet walk, but I was not allowed. I was able to stand on the track during driver intros near the stage and got 15 autographs that way. Sat in turn 1, and got to see some good action with the pair of spins from Larson and Hocevar, to contact not even shown on TV. It all wrapped up nice after the short race with a Shane Van Gisbergen burnout right in front of me. Highly recommend buying the pre race pass and standing right off the stage steps during driver intros. You have to get there pretty early to keep your spot. Unlike Martinsville, it wasn’t crowded and most of the drivers took their time to sign merchandise (until the rope broke then it got crazy). Food there was pretty nice too, definitely a track that’s worth the drive.

Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery is a decades-old lakeside winery offering tours and tastings. The estate also features a cafe and brewery specializing in craft beers. Visitors can enjoy the scenic views of the vineyards and Seneca Lake from the gorgeous elevated outdoor deck patio seating area at Ginny Lee Cafe. The winery holds historical significance as it was part of the development of the New York State wine industry, with Keuka Lake being central to this history.
Awesome winery and brewery overlooking the lake. Great selection of wines and beers. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of their craft. Plenty of outdoor seating. Could have spent the day here if we weren’t touring.

A great place to try wine and beer. A large outdoor seating area on deck and also a nice lawn area with picnic tables with umbrellas. Friendly service. The day we were there the weather was perfect and there was live music. We'll be back.

Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery is an incredible Finger Lakes destination! The wine selection is outstanding, with something for every palate — from crisp whites to bold reds and refreshing rosés. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes the tasting experience relaxed and enjoyable. The views overlooking Seneca Lake are absolutely breathtaking and create the perfect setting to sip and savor. Pairing the wine with the inviting atmosphere makes Wagner a spot I’ll definitely return to. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region!

This place has a lovely view of the lake and large deck to enjoy outdoor seating on. There is a wide variety of wine to choose from, and the pre-selected flights made ordering easy. Bonus - they have a Koi pond out front! My biggest “ick” with Wagner was that the food was served in single-use plastics. I wish they had used plates or boards to serve food!

John was amazing! It was a pleasure sipping wine while listening to the history behind each grape. I can't wait to read his book. The wine was great, too! This place immediately became my favorite winery on Seneca.

John Pulo made our afternoon a wonderfully memorable one. The perfect combination of wine history and education mixed with humor and his authentic self, we all left with wine and smiles after our library experience. Thank you, Wagner!

Visited Wagner Winery for the first time today from Buffalo NY. It was a really good experience. I loved the scenery and the food from the little cafe was delicious. I enjoyed the craft beers more than the wine. Allen the bar tender was great! Loved that I was able to create my own 6 pack and I totally meant to buy a case of root beer!! So sad I can't get it online. I want to go back and try more wines and beers!

Situated in the charming village of Dundee, Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard is a must-visit stop on any Finger Lakes wine tour. This renowned vineyard, founded by the eponymous Hermann J. Wiemer from Germany's Mosel Valley, specializes in producing exceptional dry, off-dry, and sweet Rieslings.
We loved this stop! It was more of a wine tasting experience. You are able to create your own flight (vs. preselected) which was great. Our server was super knowledgeable and would explain you as much or as little as you wanted to know. The inside space is very nice. Spacious with multiple tasting areas (they are at the table vs. a bar). We were able to catch some of the production work the day we were there through the window. This is one of the nicer wineries overall and a stop we'd highly recommend if you want a more relaxing experience. Note that we went off-peak season.
M. K — Google review
We had a positive experience, and my friend especially loved it here. She works in hospitality and has pretty high standards when it comes to wine, so this was a must-visit for her while we were in town. They primarily offer drier wines, but I appreciated that there were a few sweet to semi-sweet options too. My personal favorites were the NS Riesling Josef 2016 dessert wine (tastes like honey!), the Riesling Late Harvest 2023, and the Riesling Semi-Dry 2023. I ended up buying bottles of the two Rieslings to take home. The staff was excellent—very knowledgeable and incredibly patient with all of my friend’s (many) questions. The atmosphere had a modern, rustic vibe that was very inviting. If you're a wine connoisseur, this might be a great stop for you. It wasn’t a perfect match for my palate, but I still had a great time and found a couple wines I really liked!
Elizabeth F — Google review
This was our first winery we stopped at on a Saturday celebrating my birthday. The ambiance is traditional farm style and was decorated for Fall with many pumpkins, gourds, and topiary. The gentleman that took care of us was friendly, very informative, and curated our wine tastings to our preferred palate. No other winery we stopped at was so personal, pours were generous and the wines smooth and ranged from semi dry to dry with our tasting. They do not offer pairings with food or any charcuterie boards that we saw. This definitely topped the list for best tasting of our afternoon!
Carrie L — Google review
I came as a walk in for a tasting, which was only outside and about $25 for two. Their wines are tasty. Multiple staff checked on us. We left with a few bottles.
Toni S — Google review
Great dry Rieslings! The best I had! Awesome wine tasting and great service. Especially like the HJW Riesling. Would try to come again. Not expensive as well - good value for money.
Ronen N — Google review
We had a great time meeting friends, and sharing a tasting. We enjoyed the format for the tasting - rather than a curated list, we were able to explore wines with a "flight" of small pour carafes that allowed us to tailor how much each person wanted to taste, as well as the order in which we tried the various wines. The available charcuterie board was perfect to help accentuate the wines. The wines were all very good, and it was fun exploring the variations in the different bottling of the "same" grapes from different vineyards. The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable about the wine with suggestions as we moved through the menu. We will recommend to friends when they plan their trips to that area.
Parminder S — Google review
We tried five wines and every one was enjoyable. The 100% Riesling sparkling wine was smooth and refreshing. The HJM Riesling, my favorite, was less acidic with mineral flavors. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in deciding on which wines to try. The setting is comfortable with nice views of the area.

Nestled in the Finger Lakes region, del Lago Resort & Casino offers a convenient location just nine miles from Seneca Falls. The resort provides easy access to historical sites and a charming downtown area. With vintage architecture and exquisite decor, the inn exudes an inviting atmosphere that instantly transports guests back in time. The wrap-around porch is adorned with blooming flowers, creating a tranquil ambiance complemented by the gentle sounds of nature.
We love this place. First time here but will come back again. I play at different casinos but Del Lago has been surprisingly a great casino to come to, not just to play but it’s also close to different places to visit during the day while here. The staff, starting from the front desk checking in to the ladies changing the rooms to the wonderful host, Ryan, who was very welcoming and accommodating with our stay, were all very friendly and genuinely wanting to help when help was needed. The room we stayed at was very clean, updated and modern. I really didn’t expect a single casino in the area would be this inviting and and fun. Even my 17 year old son kept saying how good the food was. It’s also nice to have the coffee shop/restaurant be right as soon as you get off the elevators. Nice work! Overall, a huge yes to recommending to come visit.

We have stayed a few times at del Lago for overnight excursions on our special occasions and del Lago does not disappoint! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and are quiet! The staff is exceptional and are accommodating in every way. Breakfast was fabulous and the portions are huge! I win more at this casino than any other local casino, so that's a plus! Whether you are looking for that overnight excursion for a special occasion or just looking to play on the game floor or see a show, del Lago hits all of the buttons! You won't be sorry!
Michele R — Google review
My friends and I recently took a trip to the Del Lago Casino, and while parts of the experience were wonderful, the restaurant experience unfortunately turned our weekend sour. We’re from Buffalo, so it was nearly a 2-hour drive — and the sole reason we chose Del Lago was because the restaurant was advertising a tomahawk steak. The first night at the casino was great we had an amazing time, the atmosphere was fun, the dj was wonderful and the hotel was beautiful. Everything about check-in was smooth and professional, and the staff throughout the casino and hotel were friendly, helpful, and professional. I’d easily give the hotel and casino itself a 10 out of 10, clean rooms, friendly staff, great security, and a gorgeous property overall. I want to specifically mention that the check in staff was amazing. I travel a lot but I have to say that this process one of the most seamless, efficient and courteous experience I've ever had. However, our dinner at Portico was extremely disappointing. We were really looking forward to the tomahawk steak that is being advertised. We noted on our reservations that we were there specifically for the steak. When we arrived, we were told they didn’t have any. It was frustrating because that was the whole reason we made the trip. We specifically made reservations for the first available table so we can get the steak. A heads-up would have been appreciated — because would’ve happily made other plans. Then things got worse. The waitress accidentally spilled my friend’s espresso martini in her lap. The staff offered us an appetizer to make up for it, and we chose the garlic bread (which was delicious, to be fair). Unfortunately, when the waitress brought the bread out, she dropped it too — a few pieces hit the floor, and instead of replacing them, she just served what was left. They offered us a free dessert to make up for the issues that we experienced. (Literally A dessert, one tiny cup of pumpkin cheesecake for the whole table) the dessert definitely did not make up for the poor experience that we had. At that point, we were just disappointed and ready to wrap up the evening. So we left the restaurant extremely disappointed and continued to spend the night in the casino. Overall, Del Lago is a beautiful property and we had an amazing time at the casino itself, even the security staff we're friendly. But Portico really let us down. It’s a shame that such a great weekend was overshadowed by poor communication and service at the restaurant. Edit: I have to say that I read a couple of negative reviews from other guests have written about the hotel and casino. I greatly disagree with these negative reviews. I highly recommend both the casino and hotel just don't go to the restaurant.
Nicole M — Google review
We visited the casino to see a show at the Vine venue. Bathrooms were clean earlier in the night and pretty. Later in the night a few stalls had no toilet paper, but the staff was replenishing it asap. We ate at a pizza place in the food court for a quick bite and it was good. The venue seats were comfortable and the staff was friendly. They helped us find our seats. The slot machines were mostly newer ones. I’d love to return.

I can't rate the rooms because Ive never stayed in one. I can tell you its a very nice Casino. I love the beverage centers located throughout the casino floor. Nice little eateries there to grab a quick bite. I also love how they have an actual poker room. Sometimes the odds of winning are better when competing against other players rather than the Casino itself. The Machines seem tight and have never win any money there playing my favorite game keno. I have only been there on 3 or 4 separate occasions but have never won anything on the keno machine. Im not really into feeding a slot machine. I am a keno junky. The points earned seem better than any Seneca Casino and they always have given me 10 free bucks everytime I have visited along with other nice chances to win something.

None of the restaurant were open on Tuesday, just a little grill, but not for early breakfast. No breakfast or coffee till after 0800. Nice casino, but not good for buisness traveler's, maybe executives. Then again it is a casino and resort, so it world be really nice for weekend vacations or get aways.

The rooms are high quality! Bathrooms are super spacious and clean. The employees there were stellar! My wife and I went on our anniversary there for the past several years and every year it's worth it! There is a $75 incidental fee/day but you can use it on room service if you aren't going to destroy the room!

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel overall. The staff was incredible friendly throughout the property, and the rooms are well designed. Everything was clean and a good variety of options for food. The electric charging, however is broken in the garage.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Geneva along the east Seneca Lake Wine Trail, Three Brothers Wineries and Estates is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. This expansive venue features three unique wineries, a microbrewery, and a charming café, making it an ideal spot to unwind. Guests can enjoy leisurely strolls through scenic vineyards while indulging in delightful wine tastings.
Wow! This was the highlight of our two day wine tour. Definitely something here for everyone. The feature a passport tour which has you visiting multiple areas of the operation for tasting. Very good wines and beers. The final stop is their WWII themed brewery that has some awesome beers. The staff are all amazing. The brewery also donates a portion of revenue to veterans which was amazing. We could have spent all day here it’s a real experience. Next tour we will plan to be here for the whole day

I wish I could give them even more than 5 stars! I work at another local winery and wanted to start checking out the other wineries in the area. I went with my husband for my birthday, just expecting to pop in for a quick tasting. 3 1/2 hours later... we left completely in love with the place. Every single wine, beer, and hard cider we tried were absolutely exceptional and beyond delicious. We also got food and coffee at the café which were also fantastic. The customer service was superb, the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I told the manager I worked at a winery nearby and he was so great to us. I wish I got his name but whoever you are thank you so much for a fantastic experience! The atmosphere and decor was brilliantly designed, it felt like going to a theme park for adults! This is now one of our new favorite places and we absolutely will be returning over and over. I will also be sending all of my customers to Three Brothers when they are looking for recommendations for more places to visit!

A wonderful experience! Another trip added to my work family monthly outings. We had a great experience from the welcoming ambience to the excellent customer service. It was a day to relax and rewind. We did the $55 deal tasting for two and it was definitely worth it! Don't forget to get the "BIG ASS PRETZEL" Which could feed a small village! We enjoyed the Poutine(shareable) along with the grilled cheese. Take your girlie (or your boo) and have a good experience in the fingerlakes :)

Had a fantastic time at Three Brother Wineries! The wines and brewery are top-notch, and there’s a great variety of tasting packages to choose from. They even offer free slushies if it’s your birthday! The food is delicious, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. With three wineries and one brewery, there's plenty to explore, plus indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy live music. Definitely check out their events on the website! I’ll definitely be back in the future! Highly recommend!

First time coming here and it was really nice! I did the passport which is a sampler tasting for all locations, and for the price you pay ($40 per person), you get a good amount of wines to try, and if it's just two people then there is a shared passport. There's four different areas that you visit for each samplings that have a unique atmosphere to it, and I can say I enjoyed most of what I got so I do plan to visit another day. There is limited seating so be mindful that you may have to be seated outside, and take your time at each one. There is free water located around some areas as well, and some food that you can buy which I got the pork sandwich and it was amazing! Some of the food items are shareable too, you get a great amount of food for the price you pay. One thing I didn't really like, and don't get why, is that kids are allowed and are just able to run around which makes no sense when it's an adult thing so there's nothing for them to do but watch their parents get drunk!
Caitlin S — Google review
Coming to this winery was an AMAZING experience. I got the single tasting pass (which gave me a flight for each building) and my boyfriend got the non-alcoholic pass (which gave him a non-alcoholic drink in each building). Each building was unique, with excellent service and amazing drinks. We were able to go at our own pace and pick different options. For the price, you get SO much. Each room gave 4, 5 or 6 samples, which gave a lot of different opportunity to try different drinks. My favorite room was Passion Wine because the room was so eccentric and the drinks were delicious. I also loved Bagg Dare, as there was live music and you could sit by a pond. I was worried my boyfriend would not have as good of an experience since he was not drinking, but the non-alcoholic pass gave him really interesting and good drinks in each room and he did not feel left out at all. He even got a soda flight in the Warhorse Brewery room, which he loved. We came here on a trip to the Fingerlakes, as we live around 4 or 5 hours away, and I would honestly take the drive again just to come back to this winery.

Three Brothers was such a lovely experience today. Each tasting “room” had different vibes and themes. The wines were amazing, the homemade soda was top notch. Also the wine slushes were phenomenal . If I could give them more than 5 stars I would, especially since they have an N.A. tasting pass. We love an inclusive environment 🩵

Incredibly impressed with this winery near Geneva! They have four different buildings with different beverage portfolios. I REALLY enjoyed the sangria and cider here. I got a flight of watermelon, mango, raspberry, peach, and original cider. I wish I could buy some cans to bring back with me. Certainly worth a visit. 🍎

Finger Lakes Premium Outlets is conveniently located near several attractions, including the historic Seward House and Willard Memorial Chapel. Guests can also take advantage of leisure packages such as the 'Sip, Dip & Stay' wine trail package. The outlets offer a variety of shops for the whole family to enjoy. Visitors have noted that on certain days, there are fewer crowds, allowing for a relaxed shopping experience.
Absolutely loved the large variety of stores available, A lot of of them had pre-black Friday sales, the two or three stores I went in for clothing only had up to XL, which is a little downfall, and the one elder that works at Columbia needs to retire just saying. The young gentleman that works at Nautica he was awesome very helpful. We need more workers like him.

I recently visited Finger Lakes Premium Outlet with my daughters for our annual back-to-school shopping trip, and I must say, we left feeling quite disappointed. I’ve been to this outlet many times and always appreciated the great deals I could find. However, this visit felt different. While most stores were advertising 30 to 70% off, we were shocked that the prices were still extremely high, even after the discounts. Items that used to feel like a steal now seemed overpriced, which took away the excitement of finding a good bargain. It’s not just the prices that were off, though. The outlet itself seemed unusually quiet, lacking the bustling energy it used to have. The fewer crowds made the experience less lively, and it left me wondering if this is a new trend. I’m not writing this to give a bad review, but more out of curiosity and concern. I’ve always loved shopping at Finger Lakes Premium Outlet, hoping this was just a one-off experience. But if this is a sign of things to come, it might change how often I visit in the future.
A F — Google review
Not bad as an outlet - the set of stores is diverse enough, tho some stores are on the smaller side, and not all of them have really great deal. But you can find nice stuff. The place is super spread out, and mostly forces you to walk through the parking lot to reach different stores, which in the summer is not particularly nice due to total lack of shade, trees or even a water fountain.
Daniele V — Google review
My daughter educated me today and said that outlets does not mean that they're discounted to means that they're outside stores. I don't know why but I always imagine that when I go to an outlet place that I'm going to get better deals than I'm going to the regular store places ... And I guess that just makes the mindset one where I'm not expecting to pay regular prices. So outside of our own way of seeing things a little bit different I reckon that the outlet malls did have a lot of shops that people definitely like to shop at!!!
Watkins P — Google review
Not a bad place. During the weekends it’s packed. For an outlet I find it expensive. Cheaper deals are available online. Nike are doing well! The queue started right at the back of the store. Wasn’t an issue as the staff were amazing. Bathrooms are always clean. Parking at weekends is tight.

Chimney Bluffs State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Park
Dramatic rock formations tower over Lake Ontario at this park with scenic woodland & beach trails.
First time here today! What an interesting state park with a deep history. Plenty of different trails and great views of the 10,000 year old bluffs formed from eroded drumlins of the last ice age. Bring bug spray in the warmer months, lots of bugs. You can also go down to the beach area for some different views below the bluffs and be right by Lake Ontario.
Broden B — Google review
Another beautiful day and we decided to take a drive to see the Chimney Bluffs... The hike was very easy a little uphill from the one parking lot. We walked the 1.29 miles to the other parking lot which had 201 steps down. As for the views, they were majestic... Lake Ontario had crystal blue water almost Caribbean like waters stunning Hopefully, you can get out and enjoy this gem.
Mark S — Google review
We drove to the parking on E Bay Road, on the far NE side of the park to walk the 202 steps UP the hill to see the bluffs on the bluff trail and then turned around and went down because it was rainy and we have a 16 month old with us. The trail was well maintained, easy to find and navigate. There are restrooms at the parking lot and there were a decent amount of parking spots. The bluffs are very neat and interested. The views are lovely, especially if it was sunny I would imagine.
Brittany R — Google review
Definitely something you should go see if you haven't before. The main draw here are the bluffs which you can see along a 1 mile trail. Very easy walk. Trail was good shape with hardly muddy areas. The spires are gorgeous.b There are other trails you can take throughout the party as well.
Rudolph B — Google review
The ragged lakeshore is one of a kind! We started out at the main entrance ($5/car) and hiked just a little to the views overlooking Rochester. Then we drove to the east parking lot and hiked more along the cliffs, it was very windy but pristine and nobody else was there. The dragon beach is full of driftwood and pretty cool as well.
JitkaKac — Google review
Easy 3 mile hike in and out. Easy for kids, beautiful views and leads down to Lake Ontario. Bathrooms at both ends of trail heads. Great place for a fall hike or a picnic! Trails are nicely marked and they are putting in wooden walkways over the low (muddy) spots.
Madelyn P — Google review
Chimney Bluffs State Park on the shore of Lake Ontario is an absolute must-see destination in Upstate New York. What sets this park apart is its extraordinary geology: towering, earthen spires, or drumlins, carved by glacial activity and ceaseless erosion from wind and waves. These formations rise dramatically up to 150 feet above the water, creating an otherworldly, almost desert-like landscape that feels transported from Utah and offers some of the most spectacular photography opportunities in the region.
Ashish K — Google review
We took a trip here to check out the bluffs. It's definitely a cool place, and the chimney bluffs were amazing. We made the trails into a loop, and it ended up being only 3.5 miles. The trails were very muddy and had to venture off trail to get around the deep spots. Bring your boots

Our most favorite place! Stumbled across this gem of a town 4 yrs ago on a rainy Mother’s Day and instantly knew this was where we’d get married! We did just that on September 30th, 2023, the best day of our lives 🥹 The grounds are so well kept and the view is just amazing, same with the outer lighthouse down at sodus beach ❤️ Highly recommend visiting this beautiful little town and lighthouses!!! Was also there for the Eclipse and the Northern Lights ❤️

Grab your climbing shoes and let’s go! This historic lighthouse is open to the public as a museum. The person who welcomed us was so sweet, he even gave us pamphlets on other places we were going to see on our journey and some we were interested to see. The museum is very small, so don’t worry about having to walk far. The lighthouse isn’t very fall either, but be careful of the steps! Each little room has an amazing story to tell, and when you climb the lighthouse you get a sticker!

I didn't actually pay to go inside the museum cause it seemed rather pricey (why only 4 stars). The views from here overlooking the bay are spectacular and there's plenty of interesting things to see around the outside.

Sodus Bay Lighthouse and Museum is fantastic. Highly recommend visiting. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse, 52 spiral steps. Very well presented history of the lighthouse and area. The historical society has done an amazing job of restoration and maintenance. I give the historian and librarian special mention as they made our visit exceptional.

Hill Cumorah Visitors' Center

Visitor center
Tours & presentations at the site where Joseph Smith founded the Church of the Latter-day Saints.
Peaceful, beautiful place. Though not of the LDS faith, I could appreciate the spiritual serenity here. Though the visitors center is closed for remodeling, the stroll to the monument was a great opportunity for a connection with the beauty of the area and with The Creator.
Valarie F — Google review
Friendly missionaries there to assist with answering questions and giving a ride to the top of the hill to see monument if unable to hike up. Very clean and informative atmosphere in the visitors center with interactive displays of Church of Jesus Christ History of this sacred site. This is where the plates of gold and of brass were retrieved by Joseph Smith who then translated the writings of the plates from the language of reformed Egyptian to the English language which then became The Book of Mormon. The title for the book was given because Mormon was an ancient prophet historian who abridged the writings and then wrote some of his own words as well. His son Moroni, also wrote some words on the plates and then hid the plates in the Hill Cumorah prior to Joseph Smith being told where they were and retrieving them. For anyone interested in church history, this is a fantastic place to visit! Beautiful too and very family friendly. They have umbrellas to loan out for rainy days!
K D — Google review
If you're looking for a hill where an ancient prophet/historian buried a sacred record carved on gold plates and which a prophet of the modern day was led to to find those plates- which he would then translate by the gift and power of God, you have found it in the Hill Cumorah. The Visitor Center here is brand new and is awesome, with a great video. The missionaries are informative, and not at all pushy.

There were even teens milling about like days of yore. Leads me to believe that there may still be hope for retail shopping in this country. Eat that Bezos!

The Martin House, a masterpiece designed by Frank Lloyd Wright between 1903 and 1905, is located in the Buffalo Parkside neighborhood. Recognized as one of Wright's greatest works, this Prairie-style estate showcases his signature architectural elements such as horizontal planes, open-concept interior with stained glass windows including the custom Tree of Life window. The site offers guided tours through the first-floor rooms, pergola, conservatory, and carriage house where visitors can view Wright-designed furnishings and fixtures.
This place is absolutely breathtaking. It is a marvel of buildings what they have done on rebuilding it is just absolutely spectacular. It is such a beautiful valued building and walking through. It is just a walk-through history. It is so inspiring to go to and I highly recommend everyone to go there and learn more about Frank Lloyd Wright and this building and the reason why it was built if you don’t go and visit this building, you’re missing out visit Buffalo!!!

I took the 75-minute tour today and absolutely loved it. Lou was my guide and he did a great job. I've been to around a dozen or so Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and this was the most spectacular. The property is sprawling, the home is meticulously restored, and the landscaping is so beautiful. This is a must do in Buffalo for any architectural buffs.
Kevin L — Google review
We took the 2 hr tour. Parking is in the surrounding streets and watch the signage for allowed days and times. Tickets were on every car illegally parked. The house is obviously impressive and massive. Being fairly tall, I really didn't care for the areas with low ceilings that were intended by wright to either move you along or to sit down. Interior woodworking was impeccable and outside construction flawless. The guide seemed focused on minute details of the owners life and family rather than the house. But it was informative and very well run.
Steve T — Google review
Frank Lloyd Wright architecture lovers will be very excited to see the restoration and current condition of this beautiful piece of residential art! Every detail was understood and perfectly restored to its original condition. Part of the house and an adjacent FLW home were destroyed in the past and all of it was rebuilt to exacting details and materials. As soon as you step into the home, it takes your breath away with sights, lights and sounds like no other home. It is not Renaissance grand, but it is FLW grand and I like that better. The warmth of the woods, the glass that makes the light talk to you and the art all over the house secretly disguised as furniture are all amazing. The docents were professional, very knowledgeable that provided just enough time for guests to stop walk around and take it all in. They answered questions politely with additional stories about the family and additional history bits. There are several choices of options for the tour with progressively longer and more complete tours of the home, adjacent buildings, and grounds. I highly recommend touring this Frank Lloyd Home in Buffalo!
James P — Google review
The tour began with an excellent video laying the background for the design and building of the estate. Dave, our tour guide, was a wealth of information, and very entertaining. He was able to respond to all questions. We took the two hour tour, which I would highly recommend. We went in October, but I would love to return in spring/summer when the gardens are in bloom.
Amy C — Google review
What a spectacular place! My family enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the relationship between Mr. Wright and Mr. Martin and their partnership in building this house. The house has been beautifully restored and is a treasure. Our volunteer guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the property. We are glad to have gotten a membership and look forward to returning.

Amazing tour. We took the 2 hours tour and it surprisingly went very quickly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house, the history of the person that commissioned the house to be built, FLW, and the neighborhood. Even if tour are not a fan of FLW, you will enjoy this tour of the property.

I have to say my favorite was the polar bear. He was active and so cute ! Very clean zoo. The baby goat are clean. I literally have nothing bad to say about this zoo. It wasn't even crowded. At the time when we visited they has beautiful lantern art up as well which we loved. The giraffe was also a highlight for my kids as well. Mostly learning g some cool fun facts from the staff made it even more cool. Definitely loved how educational and fast given the staff was throughout.

This zoo is on the smaller side but it was still a great visit! The animals look well cared for. Being it was November, things were bare and there wasn't as much going on, obviously. I'd be interested to see what it looks like in the summer months. I was actually only here for a conference, and the zoo and being able to walk through it was a definite perk!
Brynn C — Google review
This zoo may be small in size but it is really nice. They have so many cool animals like Hyenas, Snow Monkeys, Seals, Polar Bears and of course Buffalo, as well as so much more. The Hyena I saw was so cute. Also apparently I went there while they were celebrating their 150th anniversary so there were a bunch of big light up displays and animal figures. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It is a lot of fun.
Willku9000 — Google review
A wonderful zoo with friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging staff. The zoo is very easy to navigate and isn't so large that you feel like you can't see everything in a timely manner. My wife and I purchased the giraffe encounter and that was just the icing on the cake. I would highly encourage you to look at and purchase an encounter to get a behind the scenes look that you can't get otherwise.

Very skimpy on animals. Good for a nice walk on a good day. I hope they turn it into an animal rescue site and rehab . We don't really need to cage more wild animals but great if born in captivity or a rescue. I understand the eagles can't fly doe to injury, the animals there are well taken care of and look really healthy.
Tim K — Google review
Waste of money. This was the worst zoo I have ever been to $60 plus for 3 people plus parking! 0 out of 10 do not recommend. The animals looked like they were unalived. The lions looked half starved. The animals barely moved. The polar bear which was the highlight of the visit looked miserable sitting in dry dirt. No water in sight or anything for the poor guy. This place makes me see while animals should not be in cages. They did not look happy at all. I wished I could have saved them from their despair. Poor things. Do better for the animals. Also they were decorating but not decorating. Just had junk laying everywhere in piles even blocking walk ways. Very unprofessional and unpleasant in my opinion. Awful place 😖
Tia W — Google review
Our first trip to the Buffalo Zoo as we were passing through the area was great. A smaller zoo but with plenty of animals to see. It is an older zoo, 150 years old, and some areas are very dated, but you can see they are working to update all the areas. They were setting up for the Zoo Lantern Festival that looks like it is going to be amazing. We spent about 4 hours at the zoo and still didn't get to everything. I guess it just means another trip back when we are passing through Buffalo again.

This place is purely just vibes. Me and my friend sat there for a long time and had drinks, good conversations, and amazing pictures. I loved how this place felt so peaceful, and seeing the sunset with drinks in my hands was the perfect way to end the day.

Canalside in Buffalo is a wonderful spot to spend an afternoon or evening. The area is beautifully developed with a scenic waterfront that’s perfect for a relaxing walk. The views of the river and boats create a peaceful vibe, especially around sunset. The Buffalo & Erie County Naval and Military Park is a highlight, it’s fascinating to explore the historic ships and exhibits. Whether you’re just strolling, grabbing a bite, or enjoying some quiet time by the water, Canalside is a must-visit when in Buffalo.

Title: A Perfect Weekend Getaway from Canada! 🇨🇦➡️🇺🇸 Buffalo was the perfect road trip escape from Ontario! The drive was smooth and crossing the border was quick with friendly officers. We loved the mix of history, local eats (shoutout to the original Halal Food Places!), and great shopping deals at Walden Galleria. Loved the Visit to Canal side, me being the love for Air-force, knowing the history of World War ll was a great experience. People were warm and welcoming, and parking was easy downtown. A peaceful yet fun getaway—Buffalo surprised us in all the best ways. Definitely planning to return soon!

Great afternoon trip down to the waterfront. Take a history boat tour. Visit the naval museum and gift shop. Grab a hot dog and icr cream cone or a Tim Horton coffee and stroll the boardwalk. Hop on the carousel and take a step back into childhood. Make sure you stop by the "waterway of change" exhibit. Its free and very informative.

We were planning a half day for Buffalo before our flight and this was our favorite stop. It’s actually very nice here. As we were driving around we weren’t sure what to expect. But this area is very clean! It has the BUF sign for pictures and has military ships and beautiful views. Definitely worth a stop while in Buffalo!

As we visited to Canalside is a testament to Buffalo's resurgence, blending rich history with modern attractions. Whether you're interested in outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, or simply enjoying the waterfront, Canalside offers something for everyone. Its ongoing revitalization and diverse programming make it a must-visit destination in Western New York.

Short visit but met some nice people. Everything was clean. Giant sandbox for kids. Floating tiki bar, kayaks for adults and the war memorial as well as some more Erie Canal history. Official end of the Erie Canal. I made it!

While on vacation, we had time to take a walk and Canalside was a perfect destination with views of the water, decommissioned naval ships, military memorials, areas to relax and more. It's a well maintained space in the city for families to gather. We were there early in the day so it was pretty quiet.

The Buffalo Naval Park is a must-visit for those passionate about naval history and military enthusiasts. It houses three decommissioned naval vessels, along with tanks, jets, and historical exhibits. The park offers a unique glimpse into America's rich naval heritage and allows visitors to explore the interiors of ships and submarines, providing an immersive experience into the daily lives of soldiers.
Really nice boardwalk area with a lot of activities and food on the canalside. And the naval park itself has a good amount of history available with a small museum above the gift shop. We didn't go on the ship itself but they had that option available but still very interesting for the walk around and great scenery.
Captain J — Google review
It was exhausting visiting these vessels on a 90+ degree day in Buffalo, but well worth it. Fortunately, they allow you to leave and come back at your leisure so we were able to tour the first ship, leave to get much needed refreshments, then return to finish the self guided tour. There is so much to see that it took about three hours and we still ended up skipping by some exhibits. Shorts and pants are best with comfortable footware to navigate all the narrow, steep stairs, small passageways and openings. Kudos to everyone who takes care of this park and these vessels to allow us to experience this part of history in such a beautiful setting.

Super cool opportunity to tour on board a naval ship and submarine. Like a walk back in time. Fantastic historical viewing. The volunteers working have impressive knowledge. The submarine is def tight and small in some sections while walking through. Educational and interesting!

We visited the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park during our trip to the U.S., and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As visitors from India, we were amazed to step aboard real American Navy ships and learn about their rich naval history. Walking through the USS Little Rock, USS The Sullivans, and the USS Croaker submarine felt like stepping back in time—it gave us such respect for the brave men and women who served. The volunteers and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They patiently explained everything to us and shared many interesting stories about the ships and their missions. Their passion and knowledge made our visit even more special. The museum inside is very well organized, with displays that highlight different aspects of military life. Even though we come from another country, we could deeply relate to the spirit of service and sacrifice that the park honors. The location by the Buffalo waterfront is beautiful—perfect for a stroll and photos after the tour. We highly recommend this place to fellow travelers, especially families from India or abroad. It’s not just a museum—it’s a meaningful experience that stays with you !

This was the best experience. We toured 3 navy vessels and walked through the memorial honoring those lost in battle. We highly recommend this activity. The volunteer guide expressed this to be the largest naval site for tourists located in the Midwest. We walked through the site in 4 hours.

Awesome spot to check out the US Navy ships! It's a permanent exhibit, but if you wanna go inside the ship and submarine, you gotta grab your ticket by 4 pm. You can see them from the dock anytime, though. Pretty cool !

It's a nice spot for a memorial to those lost at war. It was closed for tours while I was in town, but still had plenty to look at. I didn't see pics of the Huey in reviews I scrolled through so I made sure to include some.
Kevin L — Google review
I had a genuinely enjoyable walk through the area, made even better by the perfect weather — pleasantly mild, with just the right amount of sunlight. The scenery was captivating, especially the sight of battleships and a submarine docked nearby. I even spotted a helicopter overhead, which added a dynamic touch to the experience. The combination of military history and peaceful surroundings made for a memorable outing that felt both relaxing and visually engaging.

Experience the power and beauty of the largest rapids in North America at White Water Walk, located just four kilometers downstream of Niagara Falls. After a quick elevator ride, visitors can stroll along a wooden boardwalk that runs alongside the river through the narrow Niagara Gorge, offering stunning views of rock layers dating back over 400 million years.
Absolutely loved this spot! The White Water Walk is such a peaceful and underrated experience in Niagara Falls. You get to stroll right alongside the insanely powerful rapids of the Niagara River — the water’s speed and strength are just unreal when you see it that close. The boardwalk is super clean and well-maintained, and it’s not crowded like the main Falls area, so you can actually take your time and enjoy the views. The sound of the rushing water and the mist in the air make it feel almost unreal. It’s a short walk but totally worth it — great for photos, relaxing, or just taking a break from the busier attractions. Highly recommend this if you want something calm but still incredibly scenic. Definitely a must-do in Niagara! 🌊💙

White Water Walk is one of the most peaceful yet awe-inspiring experiences in Niagara. The boardwalk takes you right beside the Class 6 rapids, and the sheer power of the water is incredible to witness up close. The pathway is well maintained, easy to walk, and offers plenty of great photo spots. It’s a quieter attraction compared to the main Falls area, which makes it perfect if you want to enjoy nature without the big crowds. The sound of the rushing water and the views along the gorge make it a really refreshing experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Niagara — a short, scenic, and unforgettable walk! 🌊📸

The White Water Walk offers a beautiful and refreshing experience. From the manmade wooden boardwalk, you get an up-close view of the turbulent, emerald-green Niagara River as it rushes through the narrow gorge. The naturally eroded rock formations add a scenic and calming element to the walk. The short tunnel from the elevator to the boardwalk adds a nice touch to the overall experience. While there is some waiting time for the elevator both going down and back up, it’s manageable. There’s also a souvenir shop at the exit where you can pick up gifts and memorabilia. Overall, a pleasant and worthwhile experience, especially for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful walk with stunning views.
Ajay S — Google review
It's a beautiful short walk just the entrance fee seems to be a bit much for what you get. (Also the reason for the 3* rating) Still happy we did it and I can cross it off my list now. Nice views. Sadly the platform closest to the river was closed off. The selfie point is useless couldn't find my picture but was offered (online by the system) to download other people's pictures. Very questionable in my opinion. Would recommend going early when the sunlight still hits the water giving you the most vibrant colours The wait was long. Clean area. Wheelchair and stroller mostly accessible - exceptions are the lookout platforms.

Walking through the White Water Walk was one of the most peaceful yet powerful experiences I’ve had. The sound of the rushing water, the cool breeze, and being so close to the rapids made me feel connected to nature in a whole new way. The boardwalk gives you incredible views of the whitewater and the sheer force of the river is just amazing to witness up close. It’s one of those experiences that pictures just don’t do justice you really have to see and feel it for yourself. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Niagara Falls.

Walk was nice, but short.. 1 elevator for a bunch of people gets very crowded. Not sure if white water walk gives free parking, but we had to pay the expensive price of $8/ per hour! Staff were nice, lineup to go back up the elevator is very long… Overall a good experience just the elevator thing is very complicated and crowded
Adam R — Google review
We recently visited White Water Walk and it was absolutely beautiful! The view of the rapids was breathtaking — watching the power and intensity of the water up close was truly mesmerizing. It’s a peaceful and scenic experience, and a great spot to take in the raw natural beauty of Niagara. I recommend coming early when it opens — it’s much quieter and gives you the chance to enjoy the views without the crowds. A must-visit if you’re looking for a more tranquil and awe-inspiring stop in Niagara Falls!

Wonderful experience. We were here on August 21st around 11am. Line was about 15 min wait for the elevator. Once on the boardwalk it’s a self guided tour. Wonderful views of the rapids and surrounding topography!

The Butterfly Conservatory is a captivating venue where you can witness over 2,000 butterflies fluttering in a lush rainforest setting. It's one of the many must-see attractions at Niagara Falls State Park, offering an immersive experience with nature. The conservatory provides an opportunity to observe these beautiful creatures up close and learn about their habitat. It's a perfect family-friendly destination that offers an educational and enchanting experience for visitors of all ages.
I’d give 20 stars if I could! Everything was spotless and well maintained. The $20 entry fee was totally worth it. The moment you step inside, you can feel the amazing energy — butterflies are flying all around you, and the view is absolutely beautiful. If you love butterflies, this place is a must-visit! The staff was super friendly, and don’t miss the free rose garden outside.

Absolutely beautiful experience! The Butterfly Conservatory is like stepping into a tropical paradise — warm, lush, and full of color. There are literally hundreds of butterflies flying all around you, landing on flowers, and sometimes even on you if you stand still long enough! 🦋 The place is super well-maintained and peaceful, with little walking paths surrounded by waterfalls and tropical plants. It’s perfect for photos and honestly feels like you’ve escaped into another world for a bit. The educational displays before entering are short but interesting, especially for kids. Such a relaxing and magical spot — definitely worth visiting if you’re in Niagara Falls. Great for families, couples, or anyone who wants a quiet break from the busier attractions. 🌿✨

We wanted a kid and baby-friendly activity for our mini getaway and am so glad we opted for this. We’ve been to Niagara Falls dozens of times but had never thought to explore this gem and we were so glad we did. We spent less than an hour here (thank you previous Google reviewers about the paid parking tip and only needing an hour!) yet it felt much longer. Adults, kid and baby were so enchanted by the exotic beauty of the thousands of gorgeous butterflies fluttering around. What a treat it was to be in their domain and admire in awe and wonder. It is humid of course so recommend to come in a t-shirt, regardless of the actual weather outside. We had our baby in a baby carrier and it worked out wonderfully; saw some other babies in strollers and preferred having a baby carrier as it allowed us to navigate easily on the paths. Gift shop was a lovely browse too; purchased a cute hologram butterfly bookmark for our son to remember this conservatory every time he reads. Highly recommended!

Cool small dome filled with many butterflies and tropical plants. I was impressed by the number of butterflies, but expected a little more variety of types. 20-30 minutes is plenty to see everything. Kind of expensive at over $20 for an adult and $8 parking in the lot. I would say it's worth stop if it's part of an included package...probably dont need to go out of your way to see just that unless you are a big butterfly fan.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. This was an AMAZING experience that felt like pure joy and relaxation at the same time. There were so many absolutely stunning butterflies of all different kinds. 10/10 recommend this place whether you’re traveling, just trying to get the family out of the house, or even for a fun date. I cannot express how beautiful this place and experience was. After the experience there’s a cute gift shop, as well as gorgeous gardens and even a cafe! Definitely a highlight of my vacation!

I’ve been here TWO times for my birthday, i LOVE it. I also really love Kyle, one of the workers there. he’s just like me. Tell Kyle he’s awesome. He might not remember me but i’m the pale boy with long-ish brown hair. Anyway, the butterflies are beautiful, the orange ones with yellow spots usually do not like touching me for some reason. remember to look for butterflies who are resting on the floor and pick them up and put them on a leaf so they don’t get stepped on! I recommend this place for insect enjoyers.

October 2025 review. I love butterflies. I been to Key West (Florida) butterfly conservatory as well, I find Niagara is probably bigger, has more variety of plants, trees and number of butterflies. STILL I find experience 45$ including tax for 2 adult people and 2 hour 16$ parking if you wanna enjoy garden and butterflies - way over priced and overvalued! Regardless how beautiful it all is - I still don't think it really worth 61$ for 2 hours being here. Alex Garden or Rosetta McClain Gardens (free parking) (Toronto) are absolutely free and as impressive as Nigara Botanical Garden. The city should cover some cost or at least offer free 2 hour parking. Tourist should not be treated as walking wallets.
Spirit B — Google review
There was no wait when we arrived, which was great. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes — there's so much to see outdoors! The gardens are beautiful and very well-maintained, and there's also a cafe on-site if you want to grab a bite. The conservatory itself isn't very large and was a bit crowded when we visited, so we only spent a few minutes inside before heading out. There's also a gift shop, though it's mostly stocked with souvenirs and items for young kids. The real highlight is definitely the outdoor space. We loved exploring the gardens, and there’s even a golf course nearby. Highly recommended for a relaxed day out in nature!

Waterfalls
Niagara Falls is a renowned natural wonder located at the border of Canada and the United States. It's a popular destination for tourists, offering boat rides and tours to experience its towering waterfalls. For those seeking a romantic getaway, a one-day tour from New York provides an opportunity to relax and explore this impressive site. Despite its popularity, Niagara Falls continues to captivate visitors with its majestic cascades.
Oh my God! Pictures simply don’t do justice to this natural wonder of the world. What an absolute beauty and a truly memorable sight! I was completely overwhelmed by the view of the powerful, gushing water—it’s breathtaking every single time. We tried both the Maid of the Mist and the Journey Behind the Falls. While both were nice experiences, the Maid of the Mist boat ride was by far our favorite—it’s an incredible feeling to be that close to the falls. Words can’t describe the thrill and awe of witnessing it in person. This was my second visit, and I felt the same joy both times. The area around Niagara has such a great vibe, with so much to explore. One could easily spend a few days there. Since we were a little rushed this time, we couldn’t catch the sunset or the fireworks, but that’s something we’ll definitely plan for on our next visit. Niagara Falls is absolutely stunning—truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience

Absolutely stunning, i highly recommend visiting once in your life time. We went during a weekday in September and it was not very crowded. Pretty east walk from one side of the falls to the other (about 30-45 min at a very leisurely pace and stopping for photos.)

This was a bucket list adventure and it was absolutely amazing! The falls are so beautiful and powerful. The scenery is incredible in the park, especially in the fall. We did a boat ride to the falls and we could feel the water spraying up on us as it hit the water below. Of course Canada is just on the opposite bank.

Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls on the border between Ontario, Canada, and New York, USA, connected by the Niagara River. The three falls are the Horseshoe Falls (the largest, on the Canadian side), the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls (both on the U.S. side). Known for its scenic power, the falls are a major tourist destination with attractions like boat tours and observation decks, and a significant source of hydroelectric power. The three waterfalls Horseshoe Falls: The largest of the three, located on the Canadian side of the border and carrying the majority of the Niagara River's flow. American Falls: Located in the United States. Bridal Veil Falls: Also on the U.S. side and located next to the American Falls. Geography and power The falls are created where the Niagara River, which connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, plunges over the Niagara Escarpment. More than 168,000 cubic meters (6 million cubic feet) of water go over the crestline of the falls every minute during peak daytime tourist hours. The area is a major source of hydroelectric power, with projects like the Niagara Power Project in New York being one of the state's largest electricity producers. Tourist attractions and activities Boat tours: Popular options include Maid of the Mist on the NY side and others on the Canadian side that take you into the mist at the base of the falls. Cave of the Winds: An attraction on the U.S. side that takes you to a deck below the American Falls. Observation decks: The Observation Tower on the U.S. side provides views of both the American and Horseshoe Falls. The Skylon Tower on the Canadian side offers panoramic views. Walking tours: Visitors can walk across the international border via bridges like the Rainbow Bridge. Other attractions: The area includes other attractions like the Aquarium of Niagara, amusement attractions, and shows. Visitor information The falls are accessible from both the United States and Canada, with cities like Buffalo, NY, on the U.S. side and Hamilton and Toronto near the Canadian side. Niagara Falls State Park on the U.S. side is America's oldest state park and is open 365 days a year.

Niagara Falls is truly one of the best places to visit! The view is breathtaking, and the sound of the rushing water is both powerful and calming. The boat cruise is an unforgettable experience — getting so close to the falls and feeling the mist on your face is simply amazing. The area around the falls is clean, well maintained, and has plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and viewing points. It’s a perfect destination for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature and adventure. I highly recommend adding Niagara Falls to your travel list — you’ll never forget the experience!

Amazing place. So clean, so beautiful, with the falls accessible day or night. To access the closer parts, like the boat or the tunnel, you'll have to buy a ticket. Our group booked via the hotel. You pay more, but the tour guide/ driver reduces all stress and offers an in depth historical tour to boot. The falls themselves are so beautiful, majestic in size and yet so calming. Nature the way God intended. Incredible views, and the USA side more relaxed compared to the Canadian side. The view of the falls better from Canada overall, but you get up closer from the USA side. Weekends much busier than week days, but worth it no matter what day you choose. All hotels are within 10 minutes walk, so don't worry what one you choose. Free fireworks show at 10pm every night, lasting between 5 and 8 minutes. Spectacular place.

It was Wednesday morning when I arrived at Niagara Falls, and since it was the end of the season, the streets were almost empty. Only a few people, including me, could be seen around the state park or walking along the city roads. Experience the natural wonder of Horseshoe Falls from a unique perspective at Journey Behind the Falls. This year-round attraction offers visitors the chance to view the falls from below and behind through tunnels and observation decks. To reach this vantage point, guests descend 45 meters in an elevator before traveling through a 50-meter tunnel that leads to two observation platforms located at the bottom of the waterfall.
Unbelievable! If you thought Niagara Falls was breath-taking from the shoreline, wait until you see it from the inside. The views from behind the falls are truly spectacular and unique. To be able to stand just a few meters from the raging waters of one of nature’s wonders is humbling. Feeling the mist hit your face is wild. You can look out across the Niagara River to see thousands of other tourists walking around Canada and the United States, enjoying a boat ride, or looking back at you from the observation deck. On the walls, there are some fun factoids and a brief history of Niagara Falls. The heaviest tourist season is during the summer and hotter months, but we went during the winter and it somehow got more amazing. Seeing the huge icicles and frozen mists in the air is truly a sight to behold. It also helped make the journey quick and painless, since there are huge lines during the warmer times and the only way up is by elevator. Journey Behind the Falls is something everyone should experience, as well as Niagara Falls itself. The area is modern, easy to traverse, and so stunning that it seems surreal at times. This is a big bucket list item.

Journey Behind the Falls is an absolutely incredible experience! 🌊 Being able to stand just behind the roaring waterfalls and feel the mist on your face is something you’ll never forget. The tunnels are well-maintained, safe, and give a unique perspective of the falls that you just can’t get anywhere else. The views from the observation decks are spectacular, and the sound of the water crashing down is both thrilling and mesmerizing. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the visit smooth and enjoyable. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or coming back to Niagara Falls, Journey Behind the Falls is a must-do – it’s up close, exhilarating, and unforgettable. Highly recommend for all ages!

Walking behind and right up against the Falls is an unforgettable experience! The only other attraction that surpasses this is the Cruise that takes you into the heart of the Horseshoe Falls. I’m thrilled that I had the opportunity to experience both attractions because it allows you to truly immerse yourself in the falls at your own pace. In this experience, you’ll get much closer to the Falls, hearing the thunderous roar and feeling the water spray against you.

🚤 My Experience on the Maid of the Mist Boat Ride – Niagara Falls Taking the Maid of the Mist boat ride was the most thrilling and unforgettable part of my visit to Niagara Falls. This iconic boat tour takes you right into the heart of the mighty falls — an adventure filled with mist, roar, and excitement! As the boat slowly approached the American Falls and then the majestic Horseshoe Falls, I could feel the power of nature all around me. The sound of the crashing water was thunderous, and the mist completely surrounded us — it felt like stepping into another world. Even with the provided blue poncho, I was soaked, but the experience was totally worth it! The ride was about 20 minutes long, but every second was packed with awe and wonder. Seeing the falls up close gave me a whole new appreciation for their beauty and strength. The crew was friendly, and everything was well-organized and safe. 📍 Tips for Visitors: • Don’t worry about getting wet — embrace it! • Keep your camera or phone waterproofed; the mist is heavy. • Go early morning to avoid long queues. • Hold on to your poncho — it’s a fun souvenir! Overall, the Maid of the Mist is an absolutely must-do experience at Niagara Falls — thrilling, refreshing, and truly unforgettable. 🌊💙🛥️

Tunnel views are behind the falls with stunning close up of water rolling past you! They provide rain slickers to keep you dry We went in November no crowds no wait!!! Summer spring early fall high season wait can be 2 hours!!!! Definitely no exceptions do this off season!!!!!!

We traveled by bus from Union bus station to Niagara falls bus station, around 43 CAN/adult. There, we bought another ticket to the falls which was about 10 minutes far by that bus. The scene was breathtaking, especially that it was snowing. We walked around for an hour, took amazing pictures and had some coffee in the adjacent cafe, then came back the same way It is a must experience for those who visit Toronto, and it deserves the effort done to reach the location

The Journey Behind the Falls is one of those experiences that truly lets you feel the raw power of Niagara Falls up close and I mean really close. Even though I’ve seen the falls many times from above, nothing quite compares to standing right behind that massive curtain of water and hearing the thunderous roar echo all around you. It’s surreal The moment you step out of the elevator you can already hear the rumbling of the water. it’s deep and powerful, like the heartbeat of nature itself. The tunnels lead you to two observation portals directly behind the falls. When you reach them, you see millions of gallons of water rushing down in front of you, just a few feet away. The mist and the sound together create an atmosphere that’s both thrilling and calming at the same time. Then there’s the outdoor observation deck which is easily my favorite part. Standing there, you can feel the mist spraying your face while watching the falls from an incredible vantage point. It’s one of those moments you don’t forget. The poncho they provide helps, but you’ll still get a bit wet, which honestly adds to the fun. I’d recommend going early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and get more time to take it all in. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been to Niagara before, Journey Behind the Falls gives you a whole new appreciation for its power and beauty.

The Niagara SkyWheel is Canada's largest observation wheel, offering stunning panoramic views of the Horseshoe and American Falls, the Niagara River, and other landmarks. The glass-enclosed gondolas reach heights of 175 feet, providing a comfortable vantage point for visitors to enjoy the breathtaking scenery in any season. With heating and air conditioning in each gondola, guests can take in the beauty of Niagara Falls year-round.
This Ferris Wheel was awesome. My wife and I always love to go on these for the views. We were not disappointed. The views were incredible. Even though the Horseshoe Falls were at a distance, the view was still amazing. Fortunately for us, the sun was starting to get lower so everything was glowing. The views of Ontario were also gorgeous. Often, rides like this can be quite pricey, especially in popular tourist areas. This one was $15 Canadian which is about $10.50 in US dollars. For that price, we were expecting two loops. We got five. Every time we went around, we gave each other a high-five. Overall, we both highly recommend it.

Riding the Niagara SkyWheel was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We went during the day, and I can't recommend it enough. Seeing the Horseshoe and American falls lit up in vibrant colors from 175 feet in the air was just breathtaking. The whole experience was smooth and comfortable. The line moved quickly, the cabin was fully enclosed and climate-controlled, which was a nice touch, making it a cozy and peaceful ride despite the buzz of Clifton Hill below. The ride lasted about 10-12 minutes, giving us plenty of time (about 3-4 full rotations) to soak in the 360-degree views and take some incredible photos without any glare from the windows. It felt very safe and steady the entire time. If you're trying to decide when to go, definitely choose the afternoon or the sunset! The glittering lights of the city and the illuminated falls create a truly magical experience. It's well worth the ticket price for a perspective you just can't get anywhere else. Five stars all the way!

Absolutely loved the Niagara SkyWheel! It’s such a fun and unique way to see the Falls and the surrounding Niagara area from above. The views are absolutely breathtaking — you get an incredible perspective of both the Horseshoe Falls and the Niagara skyline, and if you go around sunset or at night, the lights make everything look magical. The cabins are fully enclosed, clean, and spacious, which makes it comfortable even on cold or windy days. The ride is smooth and relaxing, giving you plenty of time to soak in the scenery or take amazing photos. You can really see how vast the area is from up there — it’s a perspective you just can’t get from the ground. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s also perfect for families, couples, or even solo travellers looking for a unique view of the Falls. Definitely a must-do attraction if you’re visiting Niagara Falls — it’s quick, fun, and absolutely worth every penny. I’d go back in a heartbeat! 🎡🌊

Tourist from London, and I highly recommend the Niagara Skywheel, the view at night of the falls and the lights is worth it. The cabin is temp control so it was warm inside. We went around 5 times so the ride was worth it for the price. A nice thing to do with the family.

We decided to try out the sky-wheel on a whim on a recent visit to Niagara. It was a fun little experience, albeit somewhat expensive for a short ride. Neat to experience the Falls from above! Not for anyone who is afraid of heights though (it took me a little bit to feel comfortable at those heights, especially when it stopped!) :). Once everyone is loaded you go around a few times before they unload everyone again. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

The Niagara SkyWheel was such a beautiful experience! The view of the Falls and city lights was absolutely stunning, especially at night. The ride was smooth, the cabins were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Totally worth it a must do in Niagara Falls!

This is included with the Clifton Hill Fun Pass. The gondola was comfortable and spacious for the 3 of us. The views were great of the surrounding area and the Falls were not too far away. We were lucky as it was not busy, no wait, car to ourselves.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎡 Niagara SkyWheel – A Must-Do Experience in Niagara Falls! 🌊🌆 The Niagara SkyWheel is hands down one of the best attractions in Niagara Falls 🙌. It’s not just a ride, it’s a full 360° viewing experience that lets you see the Falls 🌊, Clifton Hill 🎢, and the whole city from a completely different perspective 🏙️✨. The cabins are spacious, clean, and fully air-conditioned/heated ❄️🔥, so you can enjoy the ride comfortably no matter the season. Hygiene is well taken care of 🧼, and the ride feels very safe and secure ✅. As the wheel goes around, you get to enjoy breathtaking views 😍 — especially at night 🌃 when the Falls are lit up in different colors 🌈 and Clifton Hill is glowing with lights ✨. During the day, you can see miles across the horizon 🌤️, making it a totally different but equally beautiful experience. 💯 The customer service is excellent — the staff is polite, helpful, and makes sure everyone is comfortable and safe 👏😊. ✔️ Washrooms 🚻 are nearby and easy to access. ✔️ Tickets 🎟️ are reasonably priced considering the experience — totally worth it. ✔️ Parking 🅿️ is available close by (around $15), so convenience isn’t an issue. This is the perfect activity for couples ❤️, families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, or even solo travelers ✨. The slow rotation gives you enough time to relax, take photos 📸, and soak in the stunning views 🌟. Overall, the Niagara SkyWheel is a must-do when you’re in Niagara Falls 💯. It’s calm, romantic, and exciting all at once — the kind of experience that makes your trip truly memorable 🙌🎡🌊.

The Skylon Tower is a must-visit attraction in Niagara Falls, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the falls and the surrounding area. At 775 feet above the ground, visitors can enjoy sweeping vistas from both indoor and outdoor observation decks. The tower also features a unique revolving restaurant where guests can savor continental cuisine while taking in the stunning sights. Additionally, there's an arcade and the opportunity to watch the 2D/4D film 'Legends of Niagara Falls.'
Could not ask for better! Great food, service and atmosphere. We saw the fireworks from our table. Spectacular! It happened at 8 pm but will be closer to 9 pm in the summer. There was live piano playing in the background. It was my husband's birthday so they gave him a complimentary slice of cheesecake! So delicious! We ordered the steak, prime rib and salmon. All great choices and come with beans and a simply delicious scoop of sweet potatoes. The prime rib was extremely tender. The virgin Strawberry Daiquiri was absolutely wonderful. Our servers were attentive and friendly.

I came here for a lunch buffet. Despite the bad reviews, I gave it a try. I lowered my expectations, so it was just like how I expected. The restaurant reminded me of a dormitory dining hall, extremely noisy and crowded. The food was not as bad as the reviews I read. There are plenty of options, one way or another you will find something to enjoy. It’s relatively cheap, so the price-quality point was good. However, your visit reason shouldn’t be for dining, but for the view and the overall experience. You can definitely find better food around the area, but you can’t always eat on top of the tower. So, I would suggest visiting this place once in your life and one time only.

We came for the views with a relaxed meal experience. We got that absolutely 100%. The food was good, without being brilliant. No complaints. The service was ok, but a little chaotic. The views and revolving restaurant (not the buffet) was what we came for, and what we got as an experience. Its a litle over priced for what you get for sure. We came to Niagara for a once in a lifetime experience, and this restaurant played its part. We also got to experience the views from the observation deck afterwards as well, so overall would do it again, even knowing the rest of what i mention.

While I did not go to the restaurant, I did go for the observation deck and it was so stunning. The view of Niagara Falls is amazing as well as being able to see the Buffalo and Toronto skylines. I highly recommend. The elevator up was also such a cool experience!

Recommended, view is worth it. Food was nice good portions, salmon was really tasty cook perfectly. Service wasn’t good we have two waiters one a girl was nice but the older guy was no patient and kind of rude. But we saw other tables were really happy with services maybe just our luck. Nice place to go, as the CN tower rotates so you can have a 360o view in around one hour period.

I really enjoyed the Prime Rib dinner in the revolving restaurant. You get 90 minutes for your reservation which is plenty of time to enjoy your meal and enjoy the views. The restaurant rotates once per hour, we got to see the falls 2x while we were sat. Afterwards we went to the observation deck as it is included. All of our meals were good with no complaints from any of us. I would definitely return as this was a memorable experience for me.

At the top of Skylon Tower, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of Niagara Falls! The breathtaking scenery, combined with the sound of the falls and a gentle breeze, creates an unforgettable experience!! Additionally, you’ll learn about the daring individuals who have attempted to cross the falls and witness the various vehicles they used beyond the barrels, including kayaks and a massive steel ball.

Had an amazing experience at the Skylon Tower! The views of Niagara Falls from the top are absolutely breathtaking. Tickets were around $23 per person, totally worth it for the panoramic scenery. The shop at the top was a fun surprise — the guy who owns it is super funny, friendly, and makes everyone feel comfortable. Overall, a great visit and a must-do in Niagara!
