This visitor center is a good place to start if you’re coming down from the north side on I-5. The very welcoming staff at the information desk can help you plan your visit. The outdoor area, an accessible .6 mile trail and restrooms, are free to the public. Indoors, a small but well curated museum is open with $5 admission. Kids 6 and under are free, but honestly the material is best suited for grades 3 and up.

We arrived at the perfect time—just before three large buses of visitors pulled in! That gave us a peaceful window to explore the lakeside trail and take in the views before heading into the interpretive center and gift shop. The staff here are always so friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell they’re passionate about the area and its history. We appreciated how accessible everything was, and parking was a breeze when we arrived around 1:30 PM. The center itself offers a great blend of information, interactive displays, and a well-curated gift shop. It’s a great stop for anyone wanting to learn more about the 1980 eruption, local ecology, and the mountain’s ongoing story. Highly recommend timing your visit mid-afternoon if you want to avoid the crowds

I remember coming here as a child and have fond memories of seeing the displays and especially the "lava hole". Coming back as an adult, I remember how awesome the facility is and building is! Very cathedral like and awesome hand carved reliefs around the structural posts. Cool Japanese tile throughout. It's no wonder this is the most or one of the most visited Park centers in Washington. I got to help with some exibits and it was an honor to be there. Well worth the visit.

A cute little visitor center and museum for Mount St. Helens. We went on a rainy day so it was pretty empty. Grabbed a few souvenirs and walked through the wetlands behind the center. It was a beautiful and easy loop and made the stop worth it!

No pass was needed for the visitor centers we stopped at, there is electronic pay meter for the picnic area and boat ramp at Coldwater Lake, can use America The Beautiful pass for these areas. Bountiful information and hands on activities even the kids will enjoy! Go in the theaters and watch the show giving insight into the eruption. The road to Johnston Ridge is closed due to washed out bridge and roadway, says repairs may be done by 2027 or 2028. We were here on a cloudy day so could not see the Crater. This was at the science and exploration center for Coldwater Lake. Beautiful views and easy drive even towing our 5th wheel RV.

A great place to start your visit to Mount Saint Helens Volcanic Monument. There are historic descriptions of the indigenous First Nations that populated the area, scientific displays, educational movies, and a comprehensive exploration of the events leading up to the May 18, 1980 eruption.

Wonderful visitor center with an awesome information exhibit. Small entrance fee to see the display, but worth the price as it was like a museum of Mt St Helens history. Loved seeing and reading about all the volanco history.

I would've gave the room a five star, but I feel like the quality of the room was definitely worth the price that I pay for it in the fall season as a matter of fact, it's a great deal, but the price is in the summer. I feel are definitely overpriced. The rooms don't meet the qualifications to charge that much and the couch beds are super uncomfortable. But the actual beds are really comfortable. They do leave plenty of towels in the room for showering. The rooms are very clean and then employees were friendly. We love going to the great lodge. We always have a good time. We've never done anything else there except the waterpark never went on the one adventure we played in the game room usually we're going out there on a budget so strictly for the waterpark, but it's worth it. Oh yeah, let me not. Forget, we did eat at the indoor pizza spot. Don't remember the name it's right before you walk into the waterpark. Their chicken wings were humongous definitely worth it.

The water slide Tornado was SOOOO amazing!! Genuinely my FAVORITE water slide in the world! That was probably the only real highlight as an adult for the water park section, however. The other slides were short and lacked thrill. The only other section besides waterslides you can do as an adult would be the wave pool, which was awesome, I just wish there were more options besides one thrilling slide and a wave pool. The power went out twice during our visit, but the place had generators. The two big slides were left out of service for roughly 20 minutes due to the power outage however. The fans by the slides were off, causing the top of the slides as you wait in line to be miserably humid! We were dripping sweat and unable to catch our breath for around 5 minutes due to the pure heat and humidity. Prices for only spending the later half of the day, 4pm-8pm were a bit high, with the amount we spent on a locker and the half day pass for both of us t would've only cost my partner and I 10$ more to have spent the night. Buffet was also 33$ EACH to participate in for dinner, with pizzas being around 20-25$ as well. You can also howl down stairs at the shop for free wolf ears! So fun! Overall, we did love it and will be returning!

We came celebrating our granddaughters 5th birthday. We had a leak in our toilet and they had to move us to another room. The greatest part was that they upgraded us to their biggest room due to the inconvenience. What a pleasure it was to stay, celebrate and enjoy all the amenities. Water park was so much fun. If you haven't checked this place out, trust me it's worth the drive to Grand Mound. Thank you again for the hospitality. We will be back for sure!

We didn't receive service the first day, we texted the front desk and they offered to bring anything we needed, they told us service would be 10-2pm. The next day we didn't receive service, I was livid. I visited the front desk and mentioned in the text chain nobody informed me I needed to request service or how to do so. That being said, the manager spoke with us, mentioned it was written on a form we were given on check in. As fastidious as I consider myself reviewing details, I had not reviewed this note and it was in fact written on it. The manager kindly offered a food discount, we graciously accepted. We requested a crib the first night, late, and it came within minutes. They brought us towels we needed in minutes as well. The food was very good, everyone was very helpful, our daughters absolutely loved the pool. I am so impressed how they handled the situation. We really did have a fabulous weekend trip, we look forward to coming back!

This place is old and the only reason you go is to hang out in a water park when the weather is not so great in the p&w for doing things outside. If you can't stay here with a coupon in Voyager points, it's not worth it. If you try to reschedule or move your dates. Once you purchase dates they will charge you an inflated rate as now it is closer to the time of your stay. Even if you are booking at a time that is not High volume. If you can even get somebody on the line to reschedule your stay they will charge you about 100$ to move your booking and if you cancel you will be charged about $60. On the website it says you get a full refund but that's not true. I was trying to reschedule and then just cancel it is 3weeks prior to my stay. The best way to do this is to know exactly when you're going to stay. Don't change your bookings and the further out you can book it the cheaper. The rate is if you change your booking closer to your actual stay, they will charge you to change your booking and they will also charge you an inflated rate. As now the time of your stay is closer to when you're changing your booking. This is not stated anywhere except for in the FAQ which is on a tab on a different page. Way buried so be warned. I just tried to change my three night booking and it went from 500 bucks to almost 700 bucks and I had already given them a hundred essentially for a deposit. They wanted another $200 just to change my dates and the inflated cost would have been an additional three at the time of check-in. So $400 stay turned into somehow $800 nine after taxes. This place is real tricky and the customer service is not good. I had to wait for 2 hours on the phone just to talk to somebody that I could understand. The original person I spoke to was mumbling. I couldn't even understand him and then when we got off the phone instead of letting me do the survey they hung up on me. Imagine that.

We were excited to go shortly after they remodeled the lodge this summer. We got there before check in to enjoy the water park and started with lunch at the fireside restaurant. The server was friendly but everything was extremely slow. We were excited to get into our room after the water park where the advertise new mattresses, etc. The mattresses were AWFUL. You would think for how much it costs to stay there, they would have decent mattresses. Over half the staff was less then friendly and looked absolutely miserable being there. I am not sure if we will be back.

This was not a good experience. Our room door stopped working, and maintenance had to come unlock it. We waited a long time outside our room for them to arrive, and although they reprogrammed the lock and said it should work again, it failed a second time after we returned from the pool. I went to the front desk, which had a long line and only one person working. A lifeguard actually ended up helping the most—he tracked down a supervisor for me when no one else did. Maintenance came again, unlocked our door, and moved us to another room—but we had to wait even longer because the first maintenance worker couldn’t get the door open, and they had to call someone else. Our new room was in terrible shape. The bathtub leaked badly, the sink faucet kept falling off, the wall trim was detached and lying on the floor, and the dresser looked like it had been chewed by a dog, the lotion bottle was coming off the wall, paint chipping in tons of places that looked so trashy. To make things worse, the power went out during a storm, and they shut down the slides. We received a text saying they would notify guests when the slides reopened. Since we were already headed downstairs, we decided to spend some time in the wave pool while we waited. When we got there, the slides were actually open again—but we didn’t get the “slides are open” text until an hour later. What about all the people who left and were waiting for that message? Such a waste of time. When we tried to leave the next morning, our wristbands wouldn’t open the exit gate, and we had to go back to the service desk yet again. For the price they charge, this place should be in much better condition and better managed. Extremely disappointing experience. PS- a friend of ours stayed here two weeks ago with her family. They also got locked out of their room, and the youngest daughter got a face rash she had to get a prescription for. Wish we would have talked to them before going on our trip.

One of my favorite spots around here! Nisqually Wildlife Refuge is pure magic—especially on a sunny day after a storm. I went expecting just some fall colors, but was blown away by thousands of birds flying overhead—what a sight! I arrived around 12:30 pm and couldn’t believe my luck. Only $3 to enter (free with the America the Beautiful Pass), and the trails are very well maintained—no dogs allowed, so no worries about stepping in dog poop. The Nisqually Wildlife Refuge has about 4 miles of loop trails

This place is special.. how lucky we are to be able to easily move through a place like this without even getting our feet wet. The walk out to the point on the water is 2 miles, no elevation gain, part wide gravel path, part boardwalk and fully exposed 3/4 of the way there. Alternatively, you can take a shadier boardwalk-path from the gift shop/restrooms through the forest in a .75 mile circle.

Easy access, nice well capped wooden boardwalk going way out into the marsh. There are two main hikes - one out and back and one loop. It was very busy when we were there in a little bit tight for parking. Ranger told us they don't check the cars for passes but carry yours with you. There's a pay station but they also accept America the beautiful passes, etc. it's Federal level so your state pass won't be accepted. We definitely enjoyed the visit!

One of our favorite walks near Olympia / Lacey, it's a wonderful experience at any time of year or tide with a mile long boardwalk over the Nisqually estuary. On clear days you can see the Olympic Mountains, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and Mt Rainier. It's a changeable landscape with different bird and animal sightings each time. Be prepared for hotter summer and colder winter conditions than you might expect for this area.

Great Walk to do it with the family nice wooden boardwalk and view points especially where the waterfront is. It has a wooded pathway which is pretty far great place to let your kiddos run crazy. Their is also lots of different birds so you will see some people doing so really good bird watching.

This place is a great place for a calm walk, there is usually not many people and it is mostly quiet. The wildlife is always a cool look as there are many different kinds of birds. Overall it is a good visit if you are interested in the area and are looking for a nice walk, just remember there are no dogs allowed, no running and don’t feed the animals.

An incredible place to learn about the connection between river, estuary, and Puget Sound ecosystems. The boardwalk lets you walk right out over restored tidal wetlands where fresh and saltwater mix — a perfect example of successful habitat restoration. Interpretive signs along the way explain the wildlife, plant life, and cultural history of the Nisqually Delta, including the legacy of Billy Frank Jr. and the Medicine Creek Treaty. We loved seeing great blue herons, eagles, and flocks of shorebirds feeding on the tide flats. It’s both peaceful and educational — a living classroom that shows why preserving these habitats matters.

What a wonderful experience! I had friends from Australia visiting and wanted to give them the experience of seeing some of the amazing animals here in the PNW. We went on one of the guided tours in the Free Roam area and were able to observe many of the local residents. Our guide was amazing, incredibly knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor. It is obvious that the caretakers take pride in what they do and they do it well. The park itself is clean and well maintained. The enclosures are also clean and well maintained, and measures had been put in place for the animals to cool themselves (we visited on a hot summer day.) The paths around the park are paved and fairly easy to navigate, although there are some inclined areas that individuals with mobility aids may need assistance navigating. Should you visit during the summer, or on a weekend, be prepared for there to be a lot of children. If you'd like a quieter visit, I recommend going during the school year on a weekday. Northwest Trek is truly a gem in the Pacific Northwest and an experience that feels both adventurous and educational from start to finish. The highlight of our visit was hands down the tram tour. It was not only relaxing and comfortable but also incredibly informative. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, pointing out different animals along the way while sharing fun facts and deeper insights into their behaviors, habitats, and conservation efforts. Watching bison, moose, elk, and other wildlife roaming freely in such a large natural setting felt like stepping into their world, and it was fascinating to see them so close in a way that felt authentic and respectful. The entire park itself is beautifully maintained—clean, safe, and thoughtfully laid out. Walking through the different areas, it was clear how much care goes into keeping the grounds well-manicured and welcoming. Each habitat was designed with the animals in mind, and the variety is impressive: from native predators like cougars, wolves, and bears to smaller but equally interesting creatures like beavers, otters, and owls. Every corner offered something new to discover. Another pleasant surprise was the pricing. For the quality of the experience—especially considering the tram tour is included—the admission felt very fair. It’s rare to find a park that balances affordability with such a high standard of care, education, and presentation. Northwest Trek is the kind of place you can enjoy whether you’re coming as a family, couple, or even solo. It’s both entertaining and enlightening, and I left with a deeper appreciation for Pacific Northwest wildlife. Absolutely worth the trip and highly recommended.

This is a great place to get out in nature. For kids to see real natural settings, where and how animals live, is wonderful. We have a family pass and plan to go often. For kids, they have a great real natural play area for all they're extras energy. You can spend a few hours with your own lunch or eat from they're Cafe, it's convenient and pretty good. Even hard ice-cream, if the kids eat a good lunch. Good Times

Such a wonderful place to see animals. It was raining so some were not out, which i dont blame them. Rode the tram learned alot about the place and how it started. Such a beautiful place. Very clean and the animals looked healthy. The Eagles were magnificent 👌. The owls, bears, and wolf just amazing.

This is a true Pacific Northwest treasure! It's a great showcase of Northwest and native North American wildlife. The walk-through portion of the park is family friendly and engaging (especially the Bear walk portion). The Wild Drive is a great experience, too! When the free roaming animals are out, it is a great way to see such majestic creatures up close. The park staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Allow a few hours if you are planning to see both the walking path portion of the park and to do the Wild Drive (highly recommended). A fun day for everyone!

Incredible. Beautiful. One of a kind experience. Kid friendly. Great and knowledgeable staff. Family will love this and there are tons of animals to see. I loved the shuttle bus ride which was additional to the entrance fee, but it was well worth it. The reserve is smaller, but very beautiful

Went on a 2-hour Photo Tour and was not disappointed!! Saw Swans; Roosevelt Elk; Black-tail Deer; Mountain Goats; Bison; and MOOSE!! They have caribou as well but we did not see them… There are 4 people max in the Photo Tour and it was fun to stop and take pics of the aforementioned!! Afterwards, you can go through the rest of the park that had a Cougar; a Bobcat; and a Lynx; Eagles; Black and Grizzly Bears; Badgers; Wolverines; Grey Wolves; Otters and Beavers…. A fun place to enjoy wildlife that has been rehabilitated but are not able to return to the forest… The park is really nice and clean; there’s a gift shop with lots of stuff (and t-shirts) for kids and adults alike… Nice place to take the family!! A little limited in the cafe, this November, but offer more during the Summer.

Can't recommend this place enough. Feels more like a state or national park, rather than a local park. The woods here are an excellent hiking spot. You really feel like you're escaping the city. Great views of the water, islands, and bridge. Owen Beach is beautiful and very clean. Free entry! Unbelievable value. 👍

A great spot for launching our boat to fish and explore. It can get busy, especially on holidays. Overall, it's a lovely location with a beautiful park and fun playground for everyone. Enjoy the outdoors!

Super cool place to come to , Owen’s beach is amazing. Check out the kayak rentals super easy , launch right from the beach , pretty calm water to take the kids. Playground for all the ones that like the land. Wonderful views.

This park was truly gorgeous with a few different trails that were some ups and some Downs, we walked over 6 miles. follow the signage, stay away from cliff edges and you will end up with an amazing hike. There are bathrooms in porta potties, a small zoo, different gardens that are all just gorgeous and many many places to picnic. it is dog friendly so take your fur babies 😊

Point Defiance Park is one of the best outdoor spots I’ve visited in the Tacoma area. The hiking trails are well-maintained, quiet, and surrounded by gorgeous forest. I even spotted a deer during my walk — such a cool and unexpected moment! The views of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the Gig Harbor were amazing, and the fresh air and natural setting make it a perfect place to relax or get some exercise. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys nature and easy-to-moderate hikes. There are plenty of signs to help you navigate, and the air feels fresh and clean — a perfect break from city noise. Whether you’re into hiking, photography, or just want to stroll through nature, Point Defiance is a must-visit in the Tacoma area. I’ll definitely be coming back!

it’s a true gem nestled in the heart of Tacoma. This expansive urban oasis spans over 760 acres and features everything from old-growth forest and stunning gardens to scenic trails, beaches, and wildlife-rich overlooks The variety here is incredible. You can wander through beautifully curated gardens—from roses and irises to Japanese and rhododendrons—or head to Owen Beach for a peaceful stroll along the water . Don’t miss Fort Nisqually, a living-history site that immerses you in 19th-century trading-post life . And for animal lovers, the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is fantastic—one of the few places in the Pacific Northwest combining both zoo and aquarium experiences . Parking is free and the park opens half an hour before sunrise until half an hour after sunset—perfect for early morning or sunset visits  . Whether you’re hiking through ancient forest or watching harbor seals from a bluff, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike—Point Defiance is one of Tacoma’s most treasured spots.

This is a beautiful place, but I had a very frustrating experience during my first visit on Labor Day 2025. I entered the park and parked near the rose garden. The info booth was closed, and I couldn’t find any maps. Naturally my cell service was crap and google maps was no help. I wandered around and kept running into trail and road closures. I was trying to walk to the aquarium but couldn’t figure out how to get there from where I was. It was fenced off and didn’t seem like I could walk there. When I finally spoke to someone I was told I’d had to leave the park and follow a bunch of detour signs and re-enter a mile or so away. I wish I would have known that before getting dropped off. At first glance I thought it was one big accessible park that I could walk through, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Wasn’t apparent when I did my planning, so I ended up leaving. The pond near the rose garden also needs to be aerated. Duckweed has completely ruined it. The small Japanese and rose gardens were really pretty, however.

The Museum of Glass in Tacoma is a unique experience! One of the highlights is watching glassblowing in action inside the Hot Shop. The demonstrations are narrated by an emcee, with plenty of explanations and even some Q&A, so you actually learn while being entertained. They also feature stunning works by Dale Chihuly, which are worth the trip on their own. Admission is $22, and the gift shop is full of gorgeous glass blown pieces that make great souvenirs. If you’re short on time, this is a doable stop, it’s a relatively small museum and you can probably breeze through the exhibits in about an hour or two. Don’t miss the outdoor glass sculptures, which is a prominent piece of outdoor art at the Museum of Glass. They’re striking and make for a great photo op with the waterfront in the background

Fabulous glass museum with reasonable parking right underneath the museum. Loved the hot shop demo though could have used better narration. Exhibits were small though super high quality and well curated. The design of the building with all the light coming in added to an awesome experience. Liked the fountain outside. Well worth waking up the steps to visit the bridge of glass across to Union Station which is now a courthouse with beautiful Chihuly pieces. It’s free to get into Union station after showing your ID. Museum of Glass is well worth a visit and has fabulous pieces and a great gift shop. The alley exhibit with kids pieces is so worth a visit as well.

I just visited the Museum of Glass, and wow, it completely exceeded my expectations! Everyone always talks about the Hot Shop, and now I totally get it. Watching those glassblowers work was absolutely mesmerizing – seeing them transform molten glass with such precision and artistry was truly incredible. I could have spent hours just captivated by that. Beyond the demonstrations, the entire museum is a feast for the eyes. The current exhibitions were fantastic, showcasing such a diverse range of contemporary glass art from various artists. I particularly loved how the light played off the pieces, creating these ever-changing reflections. And the building itself, with its unique cone structure and the beautiful Chihuly Bridge of Glass, is an artwork in its own right. It’s such a well-designed space that really complements the art. Plus, I found the interactive elements and educational displays surprisingly engaging. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone, whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for something fascinating and visually stunning to do.

We were concerned that the museum would be as nice because of the art fest but even with loads of people there it didn't feel crowded. We enjoyed the glass blowing exhibition. Loved walking the bridge and enjoying the Chihuly pieces enclosed across the highway. The galleries were filled with amazing sculptures and vases. Just beautiful!

We had a great time visiting this museum. We definitely interested in learning more about glass blowing and will return.. This is a great museum. It's also on the dock. Check it out!

This was a great place to go to. We popped into the show room to watch some art being created. It was really hot and it was a hot day in June. We walked the gallery and enjoyed the art work. The cafe food was a bit pricey. We decided to eat somewhere else. Nice clean, and quiet The kids were not so entertained.

Good variety of artists, and quite a few pieces that I genuinely liked! The hallway to the restrooms featured works prompted by kid's sketched proposals, and it was delightful! Parking was ok too.

Stunning stand alone mountain! The height and massiveness is quite something. You can also see other mountain ranges if you choose to hike. We visited in June and the rangers recommended to hike Alta Vista only. The snow was plenty and just started to melt - but nothing dangerous on that trail. The Skyline trail, on the other hand, is not advised. If you are looking for free camping spots take the Skate Creek Road Turnoff to NF-52. Continue that road until you see signs that you are allowed for dispersed camping. There are plenty of spots but our favorite is shared here. Just be prepared for mosquitos. Do not show up Friday evening or late weekend or you'll have to wait in line to enter the national park.

Absolutely stunning, must do activity if you’re visiting Seattle or Washington state in general. There are so many wonderful trails to take throughout the mountain but my recommendation is the sky ridge trail. Breathtaking views that are always treat for your eyes and calms your mind.

Absolutely stunning views. This is a very popular location so plan to come early and expect to see other people. I enjoyed the Skyline Loop, Golden Gate, part of Carter’s Falls Trail, and part of Twin Firs Trail.

Went on an adventure and had to check this place out, it was having earthquake swarms at the time 7/13/25 . Absolutely beautiful mountain and hard to believe it's a sleeping Volcano.. definitely worth checking out for yourself if you're in the area.. It's amazing how it just towers above everything else in the skyline..

Absolutely FANTASTIC directions and a totally AMAZING park!! If you've never been, you should definitely take a road trip.. see America in all of it's beauty.. and take on Mt. Ranier! There are breathtaking views along the route, from the entrance all the way up to the parking area at the base of the volcano. Parking can be a little tedious, but if you're patient (as we were) a space will open up. There's also parking along the road allowed in areas. At the main parking area on the Skyline trail side, there are bathrooms and a gift shop available. If you decide to hike up the trails, be prepared! Some of the inclines are a little steep and the air gets a bit thin. Take your time, enjoy the natural beauty, and sip on some water that you'll have to take along. There are a few benches to rest on along the trail. Mount Ranier offers some truly amazing, beautiful, and breathtaking views that seem to go on for forever.

Highly recommended for casual hikes. Trails were generally accessible in summer, and great for hikes or jogs. Difficult to get parking if you get here by late mornings, but the trails were not too overcrowded. Longest hikes are still manageable for a day hike, just bring enough water to hydrate. Fantastic views with fresh air. Would return if nearby, and worth the drive if you can spend a full day hiking. Food is expensive at the tourist centre and edible if you're starving, so best to pack your own healthy food along.

Cloaked in emerald forests and jeweled with wildflower meadows, the mountain embodies both serenity and grandeur, whispering ancient secrets through the rush of waterfalls and the hush of alpine breezes. At dawn, it blazes with hues of rose and gold, a fiery sentinel greeting the awakening sky; at dusk, it slumbers beneath a violet veil, tranquil yet commanding, a timeless guardian of the Pacific Northwest’s soul.

This is actually a great experience. We crossed from southworth Washington to Font LaRoy while visiting Seattle and crossing Puget Sound. Controlled. Safe Environment

I am shocked by the sheer amount of single use plastic being sold on board your ferries. What a negligent display of cognitive dissonance. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish—and yet for your water-dependent business you profit off of…all this?? We can and must do better. You could start by switching to aluminum canned water (infinitely recyclable) and phasing out single use plastics like these, completely. Your customer base is a captive audience—give them better, more dignified options. No more polluting the very ecosystems you operate within. Thank you for considering my feedback.

Great way to explore, drive onto Ferries and go check out the islands, also if you’re lucky you can see orca’s.

We really enjoy the Alki bakery items and soft pretzels offered on the ferries! For me, a good IPA is so good with the pretzels. The hot dogs and breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, too. Staff are also friendly and provide good service. Thanks and keep it up!

Disappointed in the front staff experience. During my recent ferry trip, the older white woman working at the front with the tickets was extremely unprofessional. She addressed my partner with friendliness — calling him “babe” — but said absolutely nothing to me, even though I was standing right there. It felt dismissive and low-key disrespectful. It’s 2025, and basic courtesy shouldn’t be selective based on who you are. Do better. This kind of behavior makes women feel invisible and uncomfortable — especially in mixed-race couples. I expected more.

The staff who help cars load on our ferries surely deserve a hearty shout out. They are incredibly effective at non verbal communicating: signaling clearly and emphatically what we need to do, especially those of us who are new to riding ferries. They give you plenty of heads up to get back to your car. Though a little extra time is always advisable if you’re on a particularly large ferry and don’t know the layout. If they see, wondering tourists going beyond the safety lines for photos of the skyline, they will politely but firmly bring them back in. Next time you see a ferry staff person, give them a wave and a smile and say thank you.

A great place to visit but I skipped the food experience because of the lines! I loved walking through the alleys and especially the flowers! The market was buzzing with food, culture and my favorite sight: seafood! Everybody seemed nice and know customer service! Not too expensive while I was browsing and the walk to the overlook way was a plus! I loved that while you walk to the market you can see through the lake!

We were visiting Seattle from Nashville for business and had a few free hours to be tourists. Several people suggested we check out Pike Place Fish Market, and it was an amazing experience! The weather was fantastic, and the atmosphere felt a bit like a lively, open-air flea market — full of unique shops and friendly vendors. Everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. We sampled honey, jellies, olive oils, fruits, and even fish! Everything was so fresh and delicious. We couldn’t resist buying several of the local goodies to take home. The hot cider was especially good and perfect for sipping as we wandered through the market. We even got to experience them yelling and throwing fish around which I suppose is special to the market. If you’re visiting Seattle, we definitely recommend stopping by Pike Place Market. It was the perfect way to spend a few free hours and made our short trip feel extra special!

Great show. Brought king crabs legs with them shipped to California for overnight ship so perfectly. I purchased on Tuesday noon and Box arrived Wednesday 10AM next business day $69 cost for overnight shipping and crabs $99 per pound. I got 2 kind of crabs $380 for 4 pound. Amazing staff all of them super nice and friendly. Very good experience. If you guys want to ships crabs or seafood for your family you can try. Highly recommended and I definitely come back.

A unique experience in an iconic location, the sights, smells and overall vibe was outstanding. As a tourist you get a rare opportunity to feel local while walking through the market with all the hustle and bustle. Definitely worth the stop, though I would highly recommend using the restroom either before or after visiting Pikes Place as the lines to enter the few public restrooms were insanely long.

This was a very cool attraction in Seattle! It’s very packed but I loved the smell of fresh produce and sea food. Lots of places to see around the market with plenty of vendors to check out. There’s also a little alley directly next to the market where people have been putting up gum on the walls for year. It’s another popular attraction in the area and the city makes sure to keep it checked before it gets too messy! If you’re visiting Seattle I would recommend this market for sure in your itinerary.

We visited Chihuly Garden and Glass right after our trip up the Seattle Space Needle, and the convenience can't be beaten. The two attractions are located very close to each other, making it a perfect combo for a day at the Seattle Center. From the moment we stepped inside, I was totally astonished. The artwork displayed, made entirely from glass, is beyond impressive. The vibrant colors, the organic shapes, the dramatic lighting, and the massive, complex formations all combined to form a constant "wow" factor in every single room. It feels like walking through a magical, otherworldly garden. Be aware that it is a compact museum, so I can easily imagine how crowded the indoor galleries can get during peak busy seasons. We were there in October and found the conditions perfect—the crowds were manageable and the weather was ideal. Speaking of weather, the outdoor garden area is absolutely beautiful, with the glass sculptures intertwined with natural foliage. However, I do think anyone visiting in the summer might have a hard time enduring the heat there, as it's quite exposed. Our autumn visit provided the perfect climate to enjoy both the intricate indoor exhibits and the beautiful garden setting at a leisurely pace. A must-see for art lovers, but timing your visit can make all the difference.

It took us less than an hour to walk through, but every display was stunning and full of detail. One thing that really stood out to us was how clean everything was. The air felt spotless and there was no dust on or around the glass pieces, which was amazing to see. Outside, there was live glass blowing, and they were making vases while explaining the process. It was fascinating to watch, and the artists were great at interacting with the audience and answering questions. Overall, it was a short visit but very memorable and worth seeing.

This is a must stop when you’re in Seattle. You see some beautiful amazing glass art and there’s a beautiful garden outside that you can relax and enjoy. The garden is unique because it’s a combination of nature with glass art. I also truly enjoyed seeing the art made live. The artist was also explained the process, which was very educational. The souvenirs at the gift shop are beautiful but overpriced. I am so glad we just went before the time on our ticket because the glasshouse was closing at the time of our reservation due to a private event. They did not tell us this when we were purchasing the tickets online and I believe we paid the same price. Thankfully, we got there early and was able to see it. We also enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar there, where the service was great. This is definitely a great museum to see when you’re in Seattle.

The layout is easy to navigate, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the gift shop is filled with beautiful keepsakes. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for something inspiring and peaceful, this is a must-see experience that captures the creativity and magic of Dale Chihuly’s work.

This place is absolutely stunning. We bought a combined ticket to visit the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, which worked really well. The glass artwork is incredible - so intricate, colourful and creative. The exhibition showcases the unique style of Dale Chihuly, with both indoor galleries and outdoor garden installations that make it a truly immersive experience. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate art and design.

Amazing pieces. Seattle location has been on my list after visiting the St Pete location. The glass house and garden was gorgeous as well and enjoyed watching his work in the theatre. I watched the live glass blowing as well and it was so fun to watch. The bar was so cute with all his collections showcased. My only thing was I paid $20 for what tasted like a $6 happy hour premade margarita. Cocktail bars are cheaper and they are handcrafted. Regardless, the bartender and all the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend checking this museum out

Very cool attraction and the staff moves people on and off the elevators very efficiently. We happen to go on a beautiful afternoon at 5:30pm and saw a gorgeous sunset. It you have a fear of heights, this may not be for you. The elevator and floors at the top are glass! The view of Mt. Rainier was spectacular.

Visiting the Space Needle in Seattle was an incredible experience and honestly one of the highlights of our trip. We came on a foggy day, but the views were still amazing the skyline, the water, and all the buildings looked unreal from the top. The rotating glass floor is something you have to try. Standing on it and looking straight down is a feeling you can’t get anywhere else. The Space Needle is clean, well-run, and worth the price for anyone visiting Seattle. The staff was friendly, the lines moved fast, and the entire observation deck felt modern and safe. Whether it’s your first time in Seattle or you’ve lived here your whole life, the Space Needle gives you a completely different view of the city. If you’re looking for top things to do in Seattle, the Space Needle is absolutely a must-see. The views, the height, the rotating floor, and the photos you can take here are unbeatable. Our pictures came out beautiful even with the clouds and the whole experience makes you understand why this is one of the most famous attractions in Washington. Highly recommend visiting if you want stunning Seattle views, amazing photos, and a unique experience you won’t get anywhere else.

We had a very fun time going up. The view is spectacular. We talked about going up the newer, taller observation deck, but it was sold out, so we did the Space Needle. I was glad we did, it's set apart from the other tall buildings so I think you probably get a more interesting view. Plus it's iconic. I thought the rotating floor was fun. I would recommend reserving a time slot in advance. We went during the week in the morning and it wasn't too busy.

We checked this place out for sunset recently and had a great visit. The timeline of events leading up to the opening of the Space Needle as you wait in line for the elevator is pretty cool. The elevator ride to the top is quick, but offers great views. The employee riding with us was informative and funny. The views from the top are spectacular. We unfortunately didn’t have the best view of Mt. Rainier on this visit, but you could see a silhouette in the distance. It was a beautiful sunset that day and well worth the trip. Highly recommend.

We were a party of 4 adults and visited on a Thursday morning at 11 am. We all had a great experience and enjoyed our visit . Everyone should go once. They offer a military discount , but those tickets can only be purchased in person. The process to buy tickets and enter is easy. Grounds and interior spotless. The elevator ride to the top of the Space Needle is so fast we really didn’t see the city as we rode up. I felt there were too many people in the elevator at once. The views are spectacular and lots of seating inside and outdoors. There is a casual cafe and bar at the top. There’s not anything to do except walk around, look at the views, take pictures, buy snacks and drinks. We were done with our visit in 45 minutes , but stretched it to 90 minutes by buying drinks and sitting down and talking. There is a very expensive Resturant ($100 per person) at the top and we’d like to visit that at night on a special occasion. The gift shop is very nice .

This is among the core attractions of Seattle as the museum provides great insights into music, movies, comics and associated culture. The exhibitions in the museum keep on changing and associated information is available on the website. Tickets can be purchased online as well as at the spot. The Museum is located in the Seattle Center area and is accessible by bus, mono rail, self driving, as well as the city tour hop on hop off tour bus. The music is closed each week on a Wednesday instead of Sunday. The museum has an interesting outlook as the building has a very futuristic and artistic outlook with buildings in various colors.

Museum was super cool. Lots of different genres of pop culture to experience (Fantasy, sci-fi, anime, music, video games, etc). There were some really fun interactive exhibits too (Indie video game and the Sound Lab). I really loved the Sound Lab and playing the instruments. The horror section was awesome as well. A very cool museum right next to the Space Needle. Definitely worth a visit if you're into pop culture. We went on a Monday. It never felt too busy. The staff was very friendly as well.

My oh my!! There are no words to describe this museum. You have to live it. Great exhibitions from music to movies. Amazing valuable artifacts belonging to great celebrities. The Jimmy Hendrix exhibition is amazing and If you are a fan of Nirvana you will be blown away. On the top floor you can experiment and learn musical instruments. I was amazed because there are individual boots where you can practice. Incredible! It is not cheap specially the souvenirs but is totally worth it. The location is great. It is near the Neaddle and there is a tram stop right beside it. Don't miss a photo with Chris Cornell statue. Save at least a morning to visit it.

I have visited MoPOP a couple of times and loved how immersive it the exhibits are! From iconic music history to sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and pop-culture moments, this museum has everything we all grew up with. Plus, the building itself is a piece of art, and you can easily spend 2–3 hours here without realizing it. If you enjoy music, movies, or anything nostalgic, MoPOP is absolutely worth a visit. Just be ready for crowds on weekends!

Very good exhibition on Jimmy Hendrix ! Was hoping for more on underground Seattle music from 80’. Great exhibition on horror movies and Science Fiction films. There was an exhibit on Asian comic culture, but I haven’t explored this one . The building itself is very impressive as is collection of the famous musician’s guitars 🎸

Interesting place for many! Loved their space exhibition. Found much stuff to do even for 5yo. And special plesure was tgeir outside playground even with chilly and wet weather. Lot of diverse fun! Strong 5💫 experience with leave/come in option diring the day.

I had a very good experience, wish I could have had more time, but loved the Asian comics exhibition it was very interesting and has comics from different countries in Asia. The other exhibits were also very good, Fantasy, Terror and Science Fiction, q lot of original prompts from well known movies. had a very wonderful time with my family. One thing I didn't like at all was that in the shop they sell a lot of AI generated art in their t shirts... that was really disappointing.

Fort Worden State Park is a fantastic place that truly has it all. It’s a perfect spot for anyone whether you're a history buff, an outdoor enthusiast, or just looking for a great family outing with amazing wildlife. What really stands out is the history. You don't just read about the past here; you get to walk right through it. The old forts and battle stations are incredible to explore, giving you a real, hands-on feel for what life was like back then. It's a powerful and unforgettable experience to stand in those massive concrete structures and imagine the soldiers who once manned them. But the park isn't just about history. There's so much to do outside. You can rent a kayak to paddle the shoreline, go for a hike, or overnight camping. It’s also great place to ride a bike and explore the grounds. And at the end of the day, the sunsets are absolutely stunning the perfect way to wind down. Plus, the park is super clean, with well-kept bathrooms, and it's just a short distance from Port Townsend. It’s the kind of place you can visit again and again and always find something new to explore.

If you’re in Port Townsend and into history this is the place for you. There’s a trail that you can walk around. A light house that you can explore. A small aquarium and a museum store. You can camp on the grounds, lay on the beach. Although I’m not sure about going into the water. It is cold!

Lovely place. I go here whenever I can, it's charming and vast. Bicycling, strolling the cats, walking, reading, Journaling, deer watching, exploring, watching boats. Cable House is a treasure. Have yet to visit Taps, the Theater or the coffee vendor. Somethings to look forward to.

Step back into history to see these very authentic grounds. Some have been multi purposed for various entities, however the period architecture is well worth admiring. Continue on to the lighthouse to complete your visit or just enjoy a nice stroll through the grounds, perfect place to unwind.

We drove through Fort Worden park and down to the beach. All the historic buildings and bunkers are so interesting to see. The grounds are well maintained. Beautiful views all around. Down at the beach, you will find free, well maintained restrooms. There is plenty of parking with several trails down to the beach. I really loved it and want to return when I can spend more time at the beach. There is a historic lighthouse and some charming building. We saw lots of birds and even some deer grazing on the grass. I could have spent more time here, but we were just passing through. It was not very crowded on a June day when I visited.

Really had a great day here. Collected many rocks and shells. Lighthouse was beautiful and historic. Most clean restrooms of any beach I have ever seen. Thank you to those responsible!

This was honestly one of the most overrated experiences imaginable. Although I’ve heard people say it might have been better years ago, in its current state it’s awful. The tour started with a short video about the founder of Boeing, which was actually very interesting. Unfortunately, that was the highlight. From there, we boarded a bus to the factory, only to go down one set of stairs, then another, and stand in line multiple times before finally taking an elevator up to the viewing area. When we got there, absolutely nothing was happening in the factory. Our tour guide seemed incredibly discombobulated, barely offered any real explanations, and came across as both uninformative and a bit on the creepy side. I honestly thought this was just the beginning of the tour, but it turns out that was it—we immediately went back down the elevator, back on the bus, where we got a bunch of useless information that didn’t add much of anything. We ended up right back at the gift shop, which made the whole thing feel like it was designed more to sell merchandise than to actually show or teach us anything meaningful. We also visited the museum afterwards, which was just as underwhelming. There wasn't much going on, and you'd think we'd at least be able to sit in a cockpit or get close to an aircraft, but even that was missing. Honestly, they should rethink everything about this tour from the ground up-especially considering the price they're charging, not to mention the extra cost of getting there and back. Just a side note, there is a rooftop where you could watch the shared runway, which would be fun. But unfortunately, when we were there, it was not very active. Overall, a huge disappointment. Save your time and money.

I recently took the Boeing Factory tour near Seattle with my mom, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was fantastic, our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions and sharing fascinating insights about the manufacturing process. The tour includes a guided bus ride around the factory grounds, offering an amazing view from the upper deck where you can take in the scale of the massive facility. The lower deck exhibits were also impressive, showcasing the history and technology behind Boeing’s aircraft. One of the things I really appreciated was how accommodating they were for disabled visitors, making sure everyone could enjoy the tour comfortably. Parking is free on-site, another big plus. The on-site canteen served great food at reasonable prices, with plenty of vegetarian options available, which was perfect for our needs. It’s important to note that the tour does not take you onto the actual manufacturing floor itself, so you’re observing mostly from designated balconies and open areas rather than walking alongside the assembly lines. That said, it’s still incredible to see several planes at different stages of construction. The gift shop was affordable and had some great Boeing-themed souvenirs and collectibles, definitely worth checking out after the tour. Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or not, if you are anywhere near Seattle and like planes this tour is a must-do. Whenever we see an airplane and wonder how these huge things get build — the Boeing Factory Tour is your answer, and it’s really awesome. We recently visited the Boeing future of flight museum and also took the Boeing factory tour. It was an amazing experience. The guides are super friendly and shared lot of cool facts and interesting stuff. Although the no-photos rule is a bummer, but honestly, it helped us experience this instead of getting distracted with your phone. We have to leave our phones, cameras and bags either in our cars or store it in an onsite locker. This tour is watching a presentation, then taking a tour bus, then a little bit of walking, a little bit of jaw-dropping “wow,” and a lot of “I can’t believe they actually build these things here.” I would recommend booking the tickets in advance , the tour usually takes an hour and half and takes you inside the world’s largest building by volume, where Boeing assembles their popular models like 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliner. This is the location where most of the Boeing 747s ( Queen of the skies) were built and took off from. Walking along the elevated platforms gives us an incredible overhead view of these aircraft in different stages of construction. The overall tour was very well organized, ran smoothly and on time and moved at a good pace. After the tour you can also visit the future of flight museum, it has many interesting exhibits and STEM related activities. The Boeing store has variety of merchandise and clothing that are reasonably priced, it’s a good place to buy gifts and souvenirs for family members. They also have a decent cafeteria where we can enjoy some food and snacks . We really had a unique and memorable experience. This is a fun experience for all. It is totally worth it !

The tour is more about the manufacturing process and facilities. It is very interesting to see the largest building and the system. Inside the centre there is a small movie theatre and some models for display. It’s very interesting to watch planes flying around and landing from the deck. There are gift shop and snacks centre as well. Washrooms are good.

Oh wow - this is awesome for aviation freaks! Honestly: We were a group of 5 boys and we did our trip from Europe to Seattle (via. Vancouver) in Oct.2025 just because of this: Boeing production visit in Seattle, WA I would do it again!! We did the 90‘ tour and the museum downstairs and don‘t forget the terrasse upstaires! Just awesome!

If you're interested in aviation, this 80-minute airplane manufacturer tour is an absolute must-do – it's truly the best of its kind. The amount of information and history you absorb is impressive. A standout moment for me was learning that every single one of the 1,574 Boeing 747s ever produced originated at this very facility and was then transported across the bridge we drove over for its paint job. That detail evoked such wonderful nostalgia for the 'Queen of the Skies.' While Boeing has faced its share of issues, the enduring legacy and widespread affection for the 747 are undeniable; it's a truly remarkable and successful aircraft.

Previously visited in 2017 but failed to write a review. Back then had a great time learning about the history of flight, with some amazing facts, like the many bakeries inside the factory, Peet's Coffee shops (Starbucks lost the account because they wanted their huge banner with their name on it), flower shops, multiple restaurants, gym, massage parlor, medical bays, postal services - it's a small city in there. The Everett factory employs 30,000 people alone, with other branches internationally. This factory is hailed as the world's largest building in the world by volume, and touring it again was fascinating, although I will say our guide in 2017 was more entertaining and was a better storyteller. I actually learned a lot on my own online reading the history of the place than on this recent tour, but it was still pretty neat to see a working factory building enormous airplanes. PARKING: Free parking in the large open-air lot. LOCKERS: you cannot take your phone or purse on the factory tour, there are some clear lockers outside you can put your things in. If you have a large backpack, there are large lockers, but it was annoying to see someone put a tiny purse in the largest locker when there were smaller sized lockers available, but you know, people. Lockers were free of charge. COURSE OF THE TOUR: You watch a video before you walk out of the theater, then onto a tour bus. You have to be able to get on/off the bus stairs, it's not a wheelchair-friendly tour. The bus takes you to a hangar, where you take an elevator down into the depths to the miles of tunnels, then back up to the factory, where you can watch planes being built in sections. After the tour, the bus takes you back to the main entrance. Tour lasts about 90 minutes, if even. The nice thing about the tour is even if you are last off the bus or at the end of the crowd, the order gets reversed when you get onto an elevator, then you get out first, so even if you are in the back of the pack, you will always get to see the planes or be near the guide as the groups are pretty small, about 15. Get there on time, pronto. Not a minute late. They are not kidding. We got there right on the minute, then they turned the lights off in the theater and we were stumbling around in the dark trying to find our seats. COST/BOOKING: Make reservations online through their website or call them. If you don't book in advance, the tour may be sold out as it's pretty popular - it's possible to change your time if you call in person, like we did. Our price with a discount/promo was $33.00 a person as of May 2025. We didn't need to tip our guide as we weren't allowed to bring our purses (whoohoo - I say whoohoo because we were tipped to death on our cruise out of Seattle, so pretty much broke). SHOPPING: gift shop with all sorts of airplane-related things, including Lego sets. IS IT WORTHY OF A REPEAT VISIT? Since I've been there twice, I'd say no, but if you are taking out-of-towners or people who have not been there before, or someone who loves planes or factories, then yes. If you get a good guide like I did in 2017 it makes you want to go back (as I have, thinking it would be the same) but on this tour, not so much but still a unique tour nonetheless.

An incredible bang for the effort! Paved walkway to the upper decks with accessible parking, both free and paid parking. If you want to go closer. You can hike to the bottom or park in the lower parking lot to see the lower falls. They were raging hard when I was there!

This is a very beautiful waterfall. The view is stunning. There is both free and paid parking. ADA parking is all free, and there are avcessible ramps. Drones are not allowed, but there are plenty of photo opportunities. I highly recommend it for kids and families. There are also rest rooms and some nice walking trails.

Snoqualmie Falls is a stunning and easily accessible waterfall, perfect for anyone looking for natural beauty without a long hike. It’s only about an hour’s drive from Seattle, and you can enjoy an incredible view right from the main viewpoint. The area is very visitor-friendly, with a café, a gift shop, and both free and paid parking options. For those who want to explore more, there are walking paths and a trail that leads down closer to the river. Restrooms are available on-site. Highly recommended for a quick getaway, family trip.

We drove up there at night, and it was really pretty. The white falls were very visible against the darkness around it, and the lights around the Lodge helped with that.

The view is very nice. There are enough spaces to park. The fall is impressive, and we can see rainbow. The trail is interesting with different plants. The trees are interesting. Nice trip. There are some introductions of the hydropower system and the history of Indian culture.

Perfect Picnic Spot with Stunning Views🏖️ Visited Deception Pass State Park yesterday and had such a lovely time! We brought along some tea and enjoyed a peaceful picnic on a bench right in front of the beach the view was absolutely breathtaking. After that, we went for a walk and took in the scenic beauty all around. The fresh air, water views, and surrounding greenery made it such a refreshing experience. It was also wonderful to spend time here with family and our dog, it’s a very pet-friendly spot. The park is well-maintained and perfect for a relaxing day trip. Highly recommend visiting for anyone looking to enjoy nature, have a picnic, or just slow down and take in some beautiful views.

My wife and I had a fantastic camping trip at Deception Pass State Park! We stayed in our trailer at site #318, which had a 30-amp hookup and was easy to access. The site was clean, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful trees — a great balance of privacy and nature. The campground itself was peaceful and well-maintained, with plenty of room to walk and explore. We really appreciated how quiet it was in the evenings — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Overall, a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back again!

Deception Pass State Park is one of the most spectacular places in Washington State. From hiking trails through lush forests to watching the powerful waters under the bridge, every corner is picture-perfect. Families and pet owners will love it here. Entry is affordable at $10 per day or $30 for the annual pass. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Pacific Northwest.

Beautiful park, second time being here. Outstanding views where you can see seals, fish, and sometimes the brave human in a kayak. You can park and then walk on the bridge. Note, don’t be alarmed when the bridge vibrates when the cars onboard onto it, it’s normal and safe. Do pay attention but have fun.

Clean restrooms at Rosario Beach section and at the pull off for walking across the bridge. There’s a ton of short trails to check out so I’ll definitely stop by again next time I’m in the area 😊 It was extremely nice to be able to cross the road by going under the bridge. There’s a lot of traffic.

If you love a great short hike we awesome views, this is a killer spot. Competitive parking, bit there are spots and pull offs on both sides of the bridge. Traffic drives fast. Be careful.

I spent a week up at Deception Pass State. The Park is beautiful with a lot of privacy and space between campsites and there are great hiking trails to enjoy. Friends with us enjoyed biking and kayaking as well. The forest was awesome with old growth cedars, sooo many ferns, and a variety of mushrooms. The Park is dog-friendly with dogs on leash. The only reason I did not give this Park 5-stars was because of the noise from the naval jets (the base is close by on Whidbey Island).

I visited Seattle Premium Outlets, and while some stores had decent deals, others felt like total rip-offs. In a few places, the price tags were clearly manipulated — they claimed 40% off, but when I peeled back the sticker, the original price underneath was actually much lower. Total price inflation 🙃… That said, if you look carefully, you can still find extra discounts here and there. So with a bit of smart shopping, you can walk away with good deals. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a light trip when you need a change of scenery.

Visiting Seattle Premium Outlets was a pleasant surprise during my trip. As someone in my early 50s who appreciates good value without unnecessary hassle, this place checked all the boxes. The layout is easy to navigate, and the walkways are wide enough that it never felt crowded, even on a busy afternoon. The store selection is excellent — plenty of well-known brands, good discounts, and helpful staff in most shops. I especially appreciated that many stores had clear signage and organized sections, which made browsing simple and efficient. Parking was straightforward, and I liked that there were food options nearby when I needed a short break. The overall atmosphere felt clean, safe, and comfortable for visitors of all ages. If you’re visiting the Seattle area and enjoy outlet shopping, this spot is definitely worth a stop. The deals were solid, and the experience was smooth from start to finish.

The outlet mall wasn’t that big or special. It had some brand-name stores, but the prices weren’t very low. The food court also wasn’t great — just overpriced. I personally didn’t enjoy it and didn’t end up buying anything here.

Best Shopping Center around. Lots of variety including premium and popular branded clothing stores. The restrooms are maintained well. Lots of parking spaces even in busy days. I live 7 minutes away from here and I find it always worth visiting.

Popular open-air mall for discounted fashion. Great selection of many name brands. Extremely crowded, especially during the holiday season. Nevertheless the mall is very clean and tidy despite the traffic. Be prepared to get rained on since the mall is only partially covered. The food court is very small and offers little selection. Awesome holiday light show across the street.

I’ve been coming here for years. Decent outdoor outlet mall. Canadians are getting a real financial spanking with the exchange rate right now. I found a work blazer and charged the car so overall it was a fairly successful visit on our way home from Seattle.

We recently drove through Moran State Park to check it out for future visits, and it’s absolutely beautiful! The park sits right along the water and is incredibly lush and scenic. While there are no electrical hookups (which means we wouldn’t bring our RV), it’s perfect for tent camping or bringing our truck. We like to scope out parks ahead of time, and this one offers plenty of great sites to choose from, with four different camping areas. The park also has an awesome spot where you can rent kayaks and canoes, plus a designated swimming area with a beach. There are lots of amenities, and the restrooms were clean and well-kept throughout the park. A couple of tips: definitely book your campsite well in advance since this is a popular state park, and don’t forget to reserve your ferry tickets to Orcas Island both ways—especially on weekends, as the waits can be long. We’ll definitely be coming back here for camping and exploring more of what this amazing park has to offer!

I’m an Orcas resident, since 2014 — Moran embodies my sense of Orcas. We humans are the visitors in this natural setting where deer, birds, and critters of many types THRIVE. PLEASE be EASY and QUIET without leaving garbage so that we humans do not harm or disrupt. If you’ve read this far I will share a locally known very special place. Just before entering the park from the north, Rosario Rd goes Right, West. If you take it, in ~1/2 mile Palisades Dr. goes off downhill to the left. to a parking lot on the edge of the park. Park there and follow the trail at the edge of the parking lot ~1/4 mile to the right to a magnificent lagoon. Many people hang there by a prominent rock dabbling their toes in the shallow water and swimming. Another 1/4 mile along the path takes one to the wonderful bridge that is visible from the main Cascade Lake picnic area across the lake. My pics taken from the lagoon in May 2025.

An absolute favorite for good ole woods on the lake camping! Campgrounds have so much variety in shade, waterfront options, RV hookups, walk-in, and group sites. Their bathrooms and showers are well maintained, and the public use areas are always kept up as well. They staff a little snack shack where you can find limited swim gear and accessories, plus impressive snacks, coffee, ice cream, candy, etc. The lake is a non-motorized boat lake, but they rent out water toys or bring your own float islands and paddleboards. Mt. Constitution is also found within the park and is a must visit! Views into Canada and over the WA coast are to die for on a clear day. Whether you're visiting just for the day or longer, Moran State Park is an oasis worth experiencing!

Beautiful park with lots to do! You have the lake below Mount Constitution with rentals and food and a beach like atmosphere. You can go out Mount Constitution for trails or a big bike slog uphill. The views from the top of Mount Constitution are lovely. The whole area is great and it’s easy enough to ride an e-bike on the hills that go up and down.

We did the full Mt. Constitution hike loop: Cascade Lake, Powerline Trail, around the back to Twin Lakes, then up to the summit and back down. 10 miles, 3200 vertical. Had it to ourselves. Fantastic.

Awesome totem poles that are free to view and take pictures. They have a boundary, so no one is permitted to go directly in contact with these statues. As a result, they're well kept and maintained here. There is a parking lot and a gift shop nearby. Lots of warning signs around the area about wild animals. Wide and clear walkways and paths to go on. It wasn't busy at all when we visited on a weekend afternoon. I recommend coming to see the Brockton Point Totem pole amongst other landmarks at Stanley park. It makes for a great walk along the coast line to see Vancouver!

This is a beautiful park with well-manicured trails, a picnic area, a playground, and plenty of open space to walk around. We visited on a weekend and it was fairly busy, so if you’re looking for total solitude you may want to choose another spot. That said, it still felt peaceful and relaxing, with lots of room to explore and enjoy the outdoors. We’d definitely come back again for another visit.

This is amazing park with many trails where you can go for a walk, jogging or cycling. There are multiple and different parking stalls on different areas. And absolutely a beautiful waterfall and lakes around the park. Many areas for pets with leash and without leash area. Other spots for a birthday party and BBQ. Don’t hesitate on visiting this place you will absolutely enjoy it.

Was a quick hike, absolutely beautiful in the fall. We got wet from the rain, but it was easy to get to. We will visit again and explore more of the trail another time!

Amazing and cute little park! The falls are beautiful, with the amenities of a small city park (playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, bathrooms, off-leash dog areas, etc.) but with trails that feel like you're out in the middle of the woods. Waterfalls and small creek are very charming. The pools made by the dams are picturesque. Love that the waterfalls and stone bridge is so close to the parking lot.

I visited on a sunlit afternoon and enjoyed how easy the main loop is: short paved paths lead to several small cascades and a charming stone bridge that makes for a great photo stop. Trails range from stroller-friendly to slightly rougher forest paths, so wear supportive shoes if you want to explore beyond the falls. There are picnic tables, playgrounds, and a trout hatchery that kids loved. Parking is usually fine on weekdays but fills fast on weekends, so come early for easier spots.

We had a great time visiting Castle Fun Park! There are plenty of games to enjoy, and the pricing for each one was quite reasonable. I’d definitely recommend this place for kids—but honestly, it’s just as fun for adults. After all, you’re never too old to be a kid again! We really enjoyed playing some of the shooting games, Racing, Mario Kart, and pinball. "Bumper car" was especially fun.mini golf is a must try. Unfortunately, we missed out on go-karting because we arrived too early—the track opens after 5 PM. Luckily, we still have our Castle Fun Card loaded with credit, so we’re looking forward to going back and trying the go-karts next time!

A nice arcade in a quiet area near Abbotsford. Go Karts open 5pm. There are plenty of games to play. Some are expensive like Underwater Golf but you can go along the kids even if you are not playing. The golf area is quite dated but nevertheless, kids love it. Laser Room is weird. Sometimes the game lasts 10 seconds. There are many more games upstairs including some real classic arcades like Contra. There is also mini bowling which is a great deal with the amount of turns you get. There is also dodging cars which is fun for the family. Overall, a nice place to spend 2-3 hours with the family.

Mostly arcade games, most of the machines are pretty old and don’t work as intended. Really wish they could upgrade the facility and improve on the concession snacks. Still this place is a great option for first timers and on rainy days. Staffs who work there are nice though.

Lots of out of order / broken games 10% maybe 20% for the older kids. The batting cages and outside still out of commission. The super young kids area is in good shape 100% functional. Food is well you know. Heat rack menu. Kids love it. Clean and tidy. Fairly busy - it is a rainy Sunday. Otherwise same old place as before.

What can I say, it's Castle Fun Park! Lots of fun! I just wish they were able to have the outdoor mini-golf course restored after the flooding a few years ago.

Absolutely stunning🌟!! Beautiful mix of nature and history. It’s short walk from the parking lot (5mins). We visited over the weekend and it was pretty busy, parking gets full pretty fast but there’s plenty of parking alongside the road you can use, if you don’t mind walking a few extra meters!! Tunnels are extraordinary. Walk alongside the canyon, with rushing water - its just beautiful😍 Definitely check them out while they are still Open!!

Beautiful place. Wonderful nature with peaceful sound of the clear water. We could enter three tunnels, or actually 2,5; Halfway the last tunnel was a wall built, with a note with the message repairs are needed on the tunnels so we couldn't go further. Despite it was very worth the (15-20 minute?) stop. It was a very little walk of approximately 5 minutes. (Would have been possible/ accessible with wheelchair I guess.)

Absolutely gorgeous, it was amazing how the tunnels turn around to fabulous views. It's a nice walk towards the entrance and get dark, better to have some form touch or mobile flash would do. The bridges are quite the catch with the view. There are more tunnels and could walk down the way. Definitely a place to visit!

Made a pit stop here on route from Vancouver to Sun Peaks and I’m so glad that we did. The tunnels are incredible. I’ve never seen anything quite like it before. The views are amazing. I highly recommend visiting this place from some unique sights and amazing pictures.

The nature here is absolutely beautiful, and it’s a very interesting historical place. This is a great destination for anyone who loves the rich history of our province. I just have a couple of small suggestions: 1. On weekends, it’s really difficult to find parking — there clearly aren’t enough spots, and there are a lot of tourists. 2. There isn’t much historical information available on-site, so I often had to use Google Search to learn more about the place. Other than that, it’s definitely worth visiting!

Finally revisited the Othello tunnels since their full re-opening, the restoration crews did a great job. It may only be a short portion of the historic kettle valley railway, but it's beautiful, the tunnels are a little spooky, and everything feels very safe. Don't forget your flashlight, or the flashlight on your phone.

Visiting this place is like a small lottery — sometimes you get to see it, sometimes you don’t. Very unexpectedly. Our group tried twice. The second time we even called ahead, and they confirmed the Tunnels were open. We drove more than 150 km — only to find them closed. Why? For how long? Nobody could answer. I hope you’ll be luckier. From the parking lot, it’s just a 12-minute walk along a wide, flat road, comfortable even for seniors and children. On the bright side, the road to this location is very picturesque, which helps soften the disappointment. And by the way, you can also visit the famous Bridal Falls, just 42 km away.

Been here before and decided to bring our road trip to pass by here. Although online suggested buying tickets online, this place was not busy at all with zero line ups and ample parking. The airtram experience was great offering great views to and from its lower facility. This place features multiple exhibits, gift shop, gold panning station, cafe (reviewed separately), bridge, and fudge store that offers a decent experience to the average tourist. Compared to my previous experience, this place feels a little dead. Perhaps it's not the summer season yet, but I feel like the shops they had originally have turned to exhibits for the sake of cutting manpower costs. The gold panning station was kind of lacklustre without anyone teaching about the mechanics like before. Overall it's a solid 3 and very hard for me to place a 4 like before.

Spectacular views and a unique experience, but a few things to know before you go. Hell’s Gate is definitely worth a visit if you’re driving through the Fraser Canyon. The gondola ride across the canyon is short but breathtaking, and the views of the rushing Fraser River are stunning. The suspension bridge and historical displays add a nice touch, and the whole place feels like a piece of BC history. However, parking is very limited, so try to arrive early. The on-site restaurant has a very limited menu — mostly sandwiches (around $14), two soups, fries, and burgers. The food is overpriced and not very impressive. Also, the gift shop, while fun to browse, is quite expensive. Still, the scenery makes up for the downsides. If you manage your expectations for food and shopping, the overall experience is memorable and well worth it. Also there's only one bathroom at the bottom of the Canon

Been running since 1968 and well worth stopping and doing the tram. A good history lesson on it being part of the gold rush. Great gift shop and restaurant, staff are very friendly.

A great place to stop and stretch your legs on a long road trip and well worth the time spent. A great look into the history of the salmon runs on the river. There’s a great little ‘spooky’ self-guided tour and the suspension bridge was definitely a bit hair raising. Also, they have a penny crusher machine so make sure you have some loonies!

Skip it! Don’t waste your money here. They had the most unfriendly staff, if you can even find one. The place is like a ghost town. If I knew how rundown this place had gotten, I wouldn’t even pay $5 a person to get in let alone the hefty price of $37. Thank goodness my son under 5 still otherwise it’s $32 a kid! There are zero activities there, the “gold panning” is a disgrace - the water is a biohazard and there was barely any gravel let alone any “gold”. I feel offended for all the tourist that come here and think this place represents Canada in any way shape or form. Also, 1 single gum ball at the candy store was $23.09…. Excuse me whatttt?!?

I've been to hell's gate a number of times and it has a nice view of the Frazer river but there isn't really much to do once you've taken the airtram to the bottom. The gift store is lacking and doesn't have much things to offer but the fudge on the other had is really good. The tickets for hells gate are kind of expensive but understanding this place is more of a tourist attraction. 7/10

Super disappointing and limited experience. This is my Honest review with no filter or sugar coating. I would have given it one star but fell sorry because nature and surrounding elements are spectacular indeed. Where do we start with negatives?! First off the price set at $35 is not only steep but completely unjustified. I read a review before I went there that it’s very rundown and nothing really to do there. I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. Once you get up across the river after a very. Beautiful but short tram ride you have a suspension bridge, a counter that was once a restaurant, a sad, overpriced and limited store, a small gallery history museum and a Fudge and candy store that sells terrible fudge by the way. The restaurant looks so run down that we didn’t order anything. They had 5-6 food choices on the menu and it’s an actual counter self serve cashier. The store sells some items and cheap souvenirs some you’d find in Vancouver aquarium and bc ferries but much more pricey. The sweet shop / ice cream fudge was a total joke. I got a sea salt and caramel. If you’ve never had a fudge in your life there is a small chance you might like it. It was salty like they dumped the salt and rolled it into a mushy paste with some hint of sweet caramel. I almost died in the first bite. The whole place seems unkept and rundown. It really is a shame because it is such a heritage site and deserves to shine. I imagine if a better owner take care of this place it could receive some boost and major upgrades.

Visited in September. BC Wildlife Park was a sweet and memorable stop. Loved seeing the rescued animals—they looked safe and well cared for, which was really heartwarming. Owl Talk was a definite highlight! Getting up close to such a beautiful bird was amazing. The observation hive was super cool too. The spirit bear is the standout, but no luck spotting it this time. Still, a lovely visit overall.

We had such an amazing time at BC Wildlife Park. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Unfortunately, we missed the train ride, but there was still so much to see and enjoy. The park is very family-friendly, with great facilities for all ages. One highlight for me was seeing the cougar laying right at the gate, such a beautiful moment! Also, I absolutely loved the honey in the gift shop definitely worth picking up a jar.

We absolutely love the place. They only have rescued animals and the have signs telling you the story of each animal plus really interesting facts about that animal species. We went in a hot sunny summer day so recommend to bring a hat and a ton of sun screen. The splash zone they have was a blast that gave us some relief from the hot weather. We were able to see so many animals (recommend checking the feeding schedule), we love the bears they have in particular the white one which is only found in BC. They have some timings for you to go a pet some goats and sheep they have, they even provide brushes which are like a spa for the animals, they love to be pet and are super friendly and cute

A bit disappointed by the facilities. Needs renovations. The train 🚂 was not running unfortunately. Off season prices too expensive. When we arrived at 10:30am there was almost no animals out it felt very strange, like an abandoned old zoo. Later on we saw more but some of the cages were not looking very clean. The birds section was great. It is nice to have the story of the rescue of each animal. They definitely should replace most of the fences by glasses. Not that much of “wild” animal.

Visited BC Wildlife Park on Canada Day, and despite the hot weather, we had a wonderful time. We got to see a variety of animals, including the bear, which was a highlight. Though not as many animals as you'd expect from a zoo since this is wildlife refuge. The little train ride was a fun and relaxing way to explore the park, especially for kids. One of the best features on a hot day was the water sprinklers, the kids had a blast cooling off and running through them. The park is well laid out with shaded areas and great for families. A fun, educational, and refreshing day out, highly recommended!

This is such an extraordinary place to go. There's a vast amount of things to learn, and Animals to see. It took about an hour to walk around the park, but was very easy for me even with a bad hip. The grizzlys were super interactive as well. Definitely worth the drive. I'll be coming back with my kids.

We visited late on a hot July afternoon and only had 1.5 hrs to tour. As expected, it was hit and miss with seeing the animals in their enclosures, and at that time of day we had the park pretty much to ourselves. That said, everything appeared to be well laid out, well signed, and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the birds of prey exhibit, and noted there is a family farm where visitors can interact with farm animals. Judging from the sandwich board sign of the day’s activities it is better to arrive in the morning to take advantage of feedings and demonstrations.

This is the perfect place to start if you're visiting Wells Gray Provincial Park. You’ll get all the info you need, and the staff are super friendly and helpful with maps and tips on what to see and do. There’s also a cute little souvenir shop, clean washrooms, and even a food truck outside. This spot really helps make your trip easier and more fun.

Stopped at Wells Grey Provincial Park to stretch our legs on route to Jasper National Park - and it really is worth the stop! The visitor centre is an excellent place to start, with lots of information on the different things to see and do, we could easily plan our visit and decide what we had time to see. Plus there is a coffee van parked right outside… perfect! :) The park itself is beautiful, well kept and signposted and without the crowded of the National Parks. Highly recommend a visit here!

At the Wells Gray Park Visitor Information Center, I saw something, I have never seen before at any other park service, including National Parks. They had a tip jar on their counter. ....your job is to provide information and customer service. You get paid or volunteer to do so. The tipping mindset of places that aren't restaurants serving you food at a table is becoming too much and honestly ridiculous. The place does have merchandise, ice cream, and coffee to purchase.

She also pointed us toward Liquid Lifestyles, located just at the end of the parking lot — and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip. In a time when genuine customer service can feel like a thing of the past, Hailey reminded us how impactful it is when someone truly cares about what they do. Staff are friendly and suggestions they gave are very informative. Food truck in parking lot is a must visit place to try out food bowls.

Very accessible. They have parkinf for car & RV/ campers. Toilets re available everywhere. This waterfall is gorgeous & amazing. A must to visit & trekking there. U can trekking further to the end of the trail. Really nice view & less tourists.

Helmcken Falls offers a stunning view with its dramatic drop into a deep canyon. The viewpoint is just a short, flat walk from the parking lot, making it easily accessible for all visitors. There are restroom facilities near the lot, and the viewing platform gives clear, wide views of the falls and surrounding cliffs. On a good day, the mist rising from the base adds to the atmosphere. If you're anywhere near Clearwater, it’s definitely worth pulling over for.

Beautiful waterfall surrounded by rock formations formed due to volcano, been here multiple times during winter and during spring and the waterfall always surprises with its views. Must visit if driving to Jasper/mount Robson/clearwater if driving along hwy-5 and there is lots of camp sites / RV sites and Cabins available in and around hwy-5.

Very spectacular waterfall!!! We went in late July and the fall was still pretty awesome!! We arrived VERY early in the morning around 6am, we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.

This breathtaking waterfall deserves every bit of the attention and appreciation. One of the most wonderful waterfalls and places gives to us by the mother nature!

Canada's 4th highest waterfall. This is such a great place to visit. Amazing views from the platform. Helmcken Falls is beautiful. Really recommend this place for a visit.

Incredible waterfall! Easy to access, and the view is absolutely stunning. A must-visit spot in Wells Gray Park.
