November 24, 2020. We had an amazing day. My husband Rick and I were celebrating his 55th birthday with Captain Todd. The lake started off choppy but he knew right where to take us for Walleye fishing. The winds calmed.. he picked great spots.. and the fish rolled in! Cap'n Todd taught us the true art of walleye fishing (no, you don't just drop your line and wait.. expect to work for it!!!) And we were pleasantly surprised to also catch Burbot!! The ling cod of the lake! There was also a small baptism performed... but I won't go into details. 😁 Cap'n Todd will remember us...😅. Oh.. and we went home with fillets of fish, he cleaned each one!! I highly recommend them... I've already booked Sturgeon fishing for June of next year. Lilly was also amazing.. we had booked a month earlier but because of circumstances beyond our control with my own family issues, she happily rebooked us.. and kept us informed the week before of weather conditions and got us out there on the perfect day. I love the flexibility of this charter.. I hate calling it that because they are like a family. If the weather had been bad 2 days before, they would have rescheduled. That means a lot. Thank you Todd and Lilly! June is too far away!!!

I found out about Lk. Roosevelt Fishing Charters via a U-Toob video a few years ago. I booked a trip for my dad’s Christmas present. We went out on a cold and windy January day. Todd worked his tail off getting us on the walleye. We ended up catching quite a few, plus a couple burbot. That spring I booked another trip, this time for sturgeon. We caught two. Two years later, I booked another trip for sturgeon. This time for two days, to hopefully guarantee a legal fish. Day one, we caught TEN sturgeon. Four of them were 46-49.5” in length, just under the slot and great fights. Day two, we caught five more, and one was in the slot! Always have a great time out on the boat with Cpt. Todd. And dealing with Lily is a pleasure. This is a fantastic family owned charter that I couldn’t recommend enough. 👍 -Paul

I have been fishing with Captain Todd twice, once for walleye and once for sturgeon. Both were outstanding trips, and have always enjoyed talking to Lilly when I've called. I highly recommend them.

We went sturgeon fishing with Lake Roosevelt Fishing Charters in 2019 and had a great time! We plan to come back in 2020 and do it again. The guide was so nice and so helpful, and full of fishing knowledge and stories. And you cannot beat the scenery on Lake Roosevelt!!!!
Maria F — Google review
Todd was a great guide, not only did he know when and where to find fish, he was more than willing to answer any questions to help us find and catch fish in the future. Lily was very helpful and informative while booking over the phone. Great guide and great experience. We will definitely be coming back!
Nicholas K — Google review
Great charter! From booking to the time we walked off the boat, the experience with Lake Roosevelt was a fantastic one. Great communications all the way through and captain Todd right on time! He enjoys being out there with us. Fishing is like any given Sunday, you never know day to day how the fish is going to be. Captain Todd worked and got all four of us on sturgeon, even got one that spooled him! We all had a great time. Would highly recommend Lake Roosevelt Charter!
TwinRock K — Google review
Had an awesome walleye fishing trip! First time fishing for walleye and Todd was excellent and put us on the fish! And such patience when we got snagged! Overall experience was the best, starting with booking with Lilly who answered all our questions and just a sweetheart to Todd with his expertise to fishing for these soft biting fish! Definitely booking a sturgeon trip next! Just can’t say enough but if you want a great experience go with Lilly and Todd!
Michelle C — Google review
Had one of the best fishing trips of the year with Captain Todd and I fish almost every weekend! The fishing was amazing and Captain Todd was awesome. He is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! One of the things I really like is they don’t mix groups! If 3 people want to go fishing you fish with only your group. Customer service wins over $ for them I was very impressed! Last but not least Lilly was incredible, very helpful during booking, excellent communication and advice on where to stay. I would definately fish with them again ! The photo tells it all and I had lots of people ask me who I went with!

Highlander Golf Course

Golf course
Outdoor Activities
We visited HGC on Saturday, 10 August. I hadn’t been to Highlander (or golfed at all) in many years. Had a great time albeit a little lost on where everything was even with a guided map to go by. My friend and I had a lot of fun despite the people behind us pressuring us to play faster. Tho they did tip their buggy, so I guess it all worked out.
Andre G — Google review
This golf course in East Wenatchee was fun. Nothing amazing but I really enjoyed the beautiful views. Also was helpful having water stops as it was 95-100° out!! And the cart gal came around on a regular basis to keep you happy. Everyone was very friendly as well. Also thank goodness there were lots of shade trees to stand under!
Kim T — Google review
Great course, fast fairways, smooth greens, and all for ~$80 a round (weekdays) including a cart!
Brock C — Google review
Everyone was very nice and customer service oriented. Including the clubhouse guy and the driving range guy Colin.
William B — Google review
We held our wedding at the clubhouse and loved the venue! Jeremy the coordinator was helpful and knowledgeable, and the staff was fun and friendly, and the views were gorgeous!
Grant B — Google review
Lots of really nice views around the whole course. They have a nice pro shop and the restaurant is delicious. The greens could be a little tricky and were a bit rough but other than that it was great.
Jason W — Google review
I got kicked out because they told me I wasn't keeping up the pace. But I was. Terrible customer service. They were touching my bags. And harassing me by watching me the whole time because I look poor. Lol like it's public. Screw this course and you rich people.

Circle 5 Winery (Martin-Scott)

Winery
Food & Drink
Wineries & Vineyards
Family-run winery featuring a tasting room with light bites & views over the Columbia River Valley.
This winery has one of the best views in all the Wenatchee area. Wines are very good but not great. I could easily spend an entire afternoon drinking their wines, soaking up the sun, and talking in the view. I'll definitely be back. The staff are friendly and fun. What a great place
Jerry V — Google review
This winery is has a beautiful view and affordable prices! The Rose and 2023 Sauvignon Blanc were deemed favorites by our group, as well the wine slushes. Definitely the best place to grab a glass of wine with a view.
Sophie B — Google review
We had our event here and it was wonderful! Becky (owner) was so flexible and kind. They let us use their space to accommodate for our paella and tapas catering which turned out delicious. Their wine is fantastic and the views are spectacular. My guests had a great time!
Maria D — Google review
We attended a birthday party for a beloved family member who is turning 100 years old! The winery staff took great care of the guests! The wine was wonderful; the food was delicious; the grounds and scenery were beautiful! Definitely recommend for your next gathering or reception!!!
Patti S — Google review
They offer a nice wine selection that you can pair with charcuterie or pizza. The outside area is beautiful and great for picnics and events.
Kelly C — Google review
I attended the Olson Bros Show on 07/28/25 and the music was great, the wine great, the view super, the grounds beautiful, the staff fantastic but the food, presentation, quantityy was honestly…. very disappointing. Not trying to drag them through the dirt but the who taco thing was done as though it was put on by a girls junior high track team. I got there 15 minutes before the band played and they were out of chicken. The food serving bowls were like they just made an emergency run to the local thrift shop. They set up the serving line by the bathroom and the fragrance was……. well….. you know plus know one knew whether you were in the food line or waiting to relieve yourself. I guess the food issues is what really disappointed me. They could have dressed up the serving area because honestly it looked like it was a last minute decision to overcharge for nothing but salsa, rice, beef only, lettuce and tomatoes. Come on guys…. Step up your game or only charge $3 a taco.
Alan C — Google review
Great experience. - Pricing on wine and food was affordable. - Scenic views and ample outdoor seating. - Friendly service. I highly recommend and hope to visit again.

Beebe Bridge Park

Mentioned on
1 list
Campground
Nature & Parks
Nature & Wildlife Areas
Beebe Bridge Park is a well-maintained recreational area located by the river that offers camping, picnicking, and a playground. It features a 2-lane boat launch, walking trails, BBQ areas, and cover areas for various sports like tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball. The park provides very clean restrooms with showers available for free to the public. While lacking full hookups with no sewer on site there are two dump stations at the entrance of the park.
The friendly staff have done a fantastic job of maintenance! The bathrooms are kept clean. A boat launch, kids playground and swimming area with ample parking. I hope the pictures help do it justice because this place is an absolute gem!
Joann F — Google review
Immaculately clean bathrooms!! Beautiful covered picnic area! Picnic tables near water with lots of trees for shade in the summer. I am sure this place is packed in the summer!! There are 2 pickleball courts and a tennis ball court. 2 Basketball nets… All very nicely maintained!! Nice little buoyed beach. There are geese which is the only problem I see- (Maybe they go elsewhere during the summer)???
Gretchen W — Google review
TOP NOTCH! Beautiful campground on shore of Columbia River. Long paved parking pads and exposed aggregate picnic pads. Quality metal picnic tables. Huge wide open grassy space between sites. Sites are level. Price of $35 is s bargain compared to other options.
Neal C — Google review
Clean, friendly, quiet hours were usually followed (one night a party went well after midnight across from our site). Beautiful grounds, well kept and bathrooms/showers were clean. Dock around swimming area would be nice but overall loved it!
Katrina S — Google review
What a tranquil location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There are lots of things for the kids and close to Chelan. The grass is so GREEN! Watch out for the "goat heads" My wife enjoyed our stay!!
Gregory M — Google review
Beautiful campground right on the Columbia River near Chelan. Large sites.Right beside park, very walkable.
Sherry S — Google review
This is a gorgeous spot! It's quiet and has lots of different things to look at that will make you lose track of time. There's the bridge, the Columbia River, squirrels, geese, great blue heron, along with lots of other birds; And not to mention the backdrop of scenery in every direction is stunning.

Alta Lake State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Park
181-acre camping park on a trout-stocked lake with a boat launch, campsites & dramatic canyon walls.
This campground is one of the best in the state in terms of cleanliness, staffing and facilities. Excellent scenery and back drop. Perfect for tent campers or rvers of all types. Great job. I’m not sure why some state campgrounds are more like homeless camps and others are excellent, safe campgrounds for the public. It would appear campgrounds on the west side of the state need new management. Keep up the good work Alta Lake management!!
Jeremy — Google review
Beautiful setting, no issue with mosquitos (don't know if that was because it's late in the season or typical). Exceptionally well maintained campsites, although they are very close together. Also not a lot of shade, so recommend bringing something with you. Ample restroom facilities.
Carey G — Google review
Great amenities and well kept work green grass at the lake. It's nice to have access to showers that come along with the cost of a nightly stay. They clean and rake each plot. It's mainly rocks. Expect to walk up and down hills. The spots are extremely close together with not much shade and you can hear and see neighbors. There's clean water and trash cans easily accessible. The lake is the draw of camping here if you're not just looking for a place to stay between destinations on a hot day. Make sure you have a discovery pass if visiting for the day at the lake. The small store next to the lake has bread, hamburger buns, peanut butter, jelly, hot sauces, loads of ice cream hot food like Red Baron pizzas, caffeine drinks, minor fishing supplies, kayak rentals, toilet paper, tampons, nearly any basic product you'd need in case you'd forgotten something. They have thoughtful, great toys for kids. Expect prices to be a bit higher. There's a playground next to the lake that isn't exciting, but has a slide and two rocks kids can climb up. You could camp here without needing to bring anything but a tent
Mark N — Google review
This is one of my favorite state parks! Such a beautiful area & so well maintained! I was lucky enough to be there early in the season with some really nice weather. Almost had the park to myself! I got in some great paddle boarding on the lake as well as a hike up the mountain behind the park!
Trish S — Google review
Great little camp ground, has a great hike nearby not recommended for young kids. The beach area was nice to swim at and there is concession stand that sell snacks.
Lupe G — Google review
Beautuful Quiet setting to enjoy with your family. Dry camping sites all along the lake sectioned out with large boulders. Cement Sites with electricity and water. All have great views! Restrooms with showers are kept very clean.
Lyn R — Google review
I wish there were half stars as I would give 3.5 stars. Here is the the good ... Clean campground with clean sites & bathrooms. Some sites w/o hook-ups would work well for smaller RVs. Nice lake access with big beach and water is clean. The not as goods... If you are in an RV and want hook-ups your site options are limited. The sites are too close to each other & one section for RVs is literally a paved area like a parking lot. There are limited trails so the lake better be your choice for the day/stay
KOI P — Google review
Beautiful place to spend the weekend camping , fishing or playing golf. The campground is clean well kept. Would definitely go back again. We did some trout fishing of the dock, it could be repaired or in better condition. The dock is broken not maintained but still works. We caught our limit. The view is impressive specially right before sunrise 🌅😀The lake is nice to swim in it even not during peak summer. Also has shallow areas for families with kids much calmer than lake chelan. Also not as crowded.

Ancient Lakes Trail

Nature & Parks
Hiking Trails
Great Springtime hike. Great views almost from the start of the hike. Went past two waterfalls that were in full flow.
Genie L — Google review
Scenic hike with options to be on flat terrain or be more adventurous. Two waterfalls and lots of great views from ridges made this hike a hit!
Rachel A — Google review
Discover pass required at either trailhead. The lower Trailhead provides super easy access to all the trails here. Venture out to see the waterfall for sure though it requires a little bit of rock scrambling and there's a bit of stinging nettle involved. Lots of camping spots. Definitely hike up to see Dusty Lake. And definitely drive around to the upper Falls Trailhead and explore all the lakes on that end. Very very beautiful!!!
Kendra K — Google review
Took the back way for the first time and started out by seeing Judith Pool followed by a nice waterfall. After that it’s a nice easy hike down to some more waterfalls and then Ancient Lakes. If you’re wanting a little bit shorter of a hike then take the back way with Judith Pool.
Jason W — Google review
I hiked the Ancient Lakes trail in early March 2021. It's roughly a two hour drive from Tri Cities. The last stretch of road leading up to the trail is a bit primitive. The hike was approximately 5 miles and took about 2 hours. You spend most of the hike walking through an enormous valley, surrounded by monumental palisades. The Ancient Lakes Trail is definitely worth checking out if you're into exploring vast, alien terrain. Oh, also DON'T drink the water! (it's contaminated agricultural run-off)
Luc G — Google review
Great place for a spring time hike!

Beaumont Cellars Winery

Winery
Food & Drink
Wineries & Vineyards
Had a wonderful time at Beaumont Cellars Winery on Friday, 7/2/21. We did a wine tasting and loved every wine we tried, especially the new Tempranillo. Luke, the owner’s friendly chocolate lab, hung out with us while we tasted and the owners prepped for a concert later that evening. The staff was lovely, the atmosphere was incredible, and we even got to hand-pick cherries right off the trees after the tasting! 10/10 would recommend and will be returning in the future for a concert and more wine! 🎶🍇
Anastasia B — Google review
My family and I went to Beaumont Farm on Friday and had a wonderful experience. Katie was awesome and explained the wines and farm process to us, very informative. The wines are beautifully delicious! We joined the wine club and look forward to visiting again.
Kathleen — Google review
We visited in July for a special birthday party. The facility allowed us to have outside food brought in as well as beer as long as we hired a server. The patio area was great for the food line and the beer, and they opened up the inside to serve the wine. A huge tent was erected on the lawn for the DJ and dancing. The setting was beautiful and the wine was really good! I can't wait to go back and visit again next summer!
Dawn W — Google review
We tried to go to Beaumont on Saturday night to enjoy a glass of wine, but were asked to pay a $25 concert fee or leave. We were not there for a concert. We were not asking to go outside for the concert, we sat at the back table by the door. Word to the wise if you want to go enjoy wine on a Saturday night this might not be the place.
Staci F — Google review
What a fabulous ‘on the way to Wenatchee’ stop this was! Katie was there with Arika the black lab to offer us a tasting and we enjoyed every wine we had. Reds, whites and rose (the day before National Rose day) Looking forward to checking out their new location at Crescent Bar where they have a tasting room and Bistro that just opened. Great wines Pete!
Christi G — Google review
We were asked to pay $25 at entry of the new crescent bar location. We did not want to attend the concert and were happy to sit inside and purchase some glasses of wine. It was not posted on the website that you could not get wine if we did not pay for the concert. Honestly we were really excited to support local businesses but in actuality were turned away and asked to leave, as a party of 6 business was lost.
Emma H — Google review
Exceptional wines, amazing in-house chocolates, and top-notch service create an awesome afternoon shared with other visitors. Each wine in the tasting menu part of the experience was better than the last, complemented by luscious chocolates. The staff's warmth and knowledge elevate the experience, making it a must-visit gem.
Luis G — Google review
My entire family had a wonderful experience here. The wines were exemplary and indicative of the absolute best that our region has to offer. The owners were wonderful and were probably a bit busier than they were expecting to be; however, it was for obvious and good reason. The spot was incredible and the atmosphere wonderful. After a tasting we were in love with the wines enough to subscribe to wine club and can’t wait for our first subscription.

Gamble Sands

Golf course
Outdoor Activities
Polished golf resort with a grill restaurant/bar & river views, plus a pro shop & an 18-hole course.
Always worth the drive to play here. The course is in great shape and very playable for all skill levels. Views are amazing. The lodging is nice. Giant putting green is fun at night with glow in the dark balls. I would bring your own versus buying at the course. Will be much cheaper. Worth making restorations at Danny Boy ahead of time just in case, as it can get busy.
Jeff H — Google review
Awesome customer service in all property locations. I could tell you are a bit understaffed in food and drink service at Danny's Bar & Grill as it took more time then it should to get waited on. Your new Barn area was done well. I liked your design and setup. The restrooms at that location were not serviced enough however. They were a mess at 9am in the morning and in the same condition later in afternoon. The buffet got a 7 out of 10 the night we had the prime rib...that was not good, full of fat, more fat then eatable meat. The room was spectacular. Please put an end table between the chairs on deck to set a glass on, there was no table out there. Front desk staff is always great along with shuttle cart drivers. Wasn't real impressed with your new course, however hoping you have things figured out before booking our next annual trip. Thank you for a great weekend!
Craig C — Google review
We stayed at the Inn for a night and played 18 holes at Gamble and 14 holes at Quicksands. We cannot say enough positive things about our experiences. I thought the customer service was excellent. It seemed as though the people really took pride in their job and they made it very special for us. The Inn was world class accommodation. The view from the room is stunning and we spent 3 hours on the patio relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere. The course was incredible. Such generous fairways and the maintenance was top notch. I have played at some nice courses but the overall experience at Gamble sands was the best I’ve ever had on a Golf Course. I cant wait for Scarecrow to open and we plan on making this an annual trip. I’m looking forward to seeing where this development will go.
Chris B — Google review
The courses are world class. Rooms were immaculate and the staff was fantastic. The only feedback I’d offer would be: - there are many blind shots. Seems a good enhancement would GPS trackers on carts so you can see where the group in front of you is to avoid hitting into them. - Danny Boy restaurant menu and food quality were just OK. Not bad, but didn’t blow our minds. - please build a 3rd 18 hole course!!
Ryan M — Google review
From the moment we arrived, the customer service was top-notch—friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, whether it was handling special requests or offering local tips. The real highlight, though, was the golf course. Absolutely stunning. Every hole had incredible views—rolling fairways framed by mountains, water features, and wide-open skies. Even if you’re not a golfer, the scenery alone makes this place worth it. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and had great views of the course. After a round of golf, we relaxed with drinks on the patio and watched the sunset over the 18th green—unreal. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with world-class golf and even better service, this is it.
Daniel A — Google review
We had a small hiccup with our reservation at Gamble Sands, but the staff went above and beyond to make it right. They handled everything with professionalism and made sure our group was taken care of. On top of that, the course itself is absolutely stunning—immaculate conditions, breathtaking views, and a layout that’s both fun and challenging. What could’ve been a frustrating situation turned into a reminder of how great their customer service really is. Can’t wait to come back and play again
Mason H — Google review
The original Gamble Sands course is a master class in fun golf course design. Varied holes, creative reveals and incredible views. The staff is all incredibly helpful and friendly. You really feel like you've gone somewhere special. We also got a sneak peak at Scarecrow and that is going to blow peoples socks off. There is a pretty good stretch of holes that's maybe as fun as I've ever seen. The new rooms are also great.
Eric B — Google review
2 outstanding courses plus the Quicksands short course (didn't play it due to one of our group getting a golf injury). Serious maintenance team/program trying to make every golfer experience perfect conditions. Pricey, but when all is said and done, well worth it and we look forward to future visits. For me, best golf experience I've had in years.

Lee Theatre

Movie theater
Concerts & Shows
Theaters
Compact, old-timey theater featuring current films, plus a pizzeria & concession stand.
This place was really cool! If you are looking for a quieter movie viewing setting this is the place for you! Not only were there only about 3 other people in the theater when we went to see Deadpool & Wolverine, but they have tables in the theater where they will deliver pizza, burgers and more while you watch your movie! Two thumbs up!
Bethany L — Google review
This place is awesome! If you want a quieter movie experience, this is the spot. When we went to see Deadpool & Wolverine, there were only a few people in the theater, and the best part? They bring pizza, burgers, and more right to your table while you watch! Perfect for a fun time with friends or family. It’s a great way to multi-task—enjoy a movie and a meal at the same time. Always a pleasant and unique experience!
Rebecca D — Google review
This is an ok movie theatre. There isn't allot of parking designated for patrons, just along the side of the building next to the street. I was annoyed seriously because when you go in. You have to PAY for your tickets. Walk a few more steps then if you want to eat a pizza or something during the movie, then you have to PAY for that. And then if you are also waiting to have popcorn and soda then you walk about 10 ft and have to PAY there TOO. like SERIOUSLY???!?@!!! why cant at least ONE of those bills be combined with one other instead of THREE SEPERATE bills. The good part is that in the movie theatre there is dining booths in the back so you can eat your pizza or wings _ whatever while the movie is going on_ the bad part is that for 2 hrs that's a long time to sit at a booth like that; not very comfortable. I ended up getting up about 1/2 way thru the movie and going over and finding a regular Seat to sit in. The large drinks are refillable. I found the popcorn, although un_ buttered ( you can add butter yourself) but popcorn was EXTRENELY salty. Prices for there " combo" packs was actually competitive compared to others theatres I've been too. My wife went days prior and I guess she was in a theatre upstairs, she said the A/C was almost uncomfortably cold ( on a day when it was neer 100 degrees outside). This day we had a theatre downstairs and it was on the warmer side with some cooler fans blowing from back. One of the reasons also i moved to a seat after eating was because there wasn't hardly any airflow to the eating booth areas and it was uncomfortably warm trying to sit there, watch a movie for 2 hrs and pay attention while being uncomfortable in 2 different ways
A L — Google review
The theater itself is nice, staff usually nice as well. My issue is they rarely update their Facebook page, very tough to speak to an actual person as well. It’s annoying not knowing if they are getting certain movies or early showings since there is never any updates! You guys are extremely slow with that, and can be an inconvenience to your customers wanting to know if a movie is playing here or if they need to go elsewhere.
Michael S — Google review
Not a bad place to go as a family, but when there are 3 young kids sitting in the back shooting spitballs at all the other people trying to enjoy their movie that we paid a lot of money for. The manager should have kicked them out instead of just talking to them. People really need to teach their children some manners. Again theater isn’t a bad place but maybe they need to be more strict on letting young kids in the movies without adult supervision.

Super cute spot. Everyone on staff was friendly. I enjoyed the many different seating options offered. Next time I’m in town, I look forward to coming back!
Caprielle W — Google review
Didn't have much to offer as some theaters i have been to. Went to watch fantastic four movie and the main theater ac was down which made the room hot and uncomfortable as well as they had fans and ac going but you can barely hear the movie over the noise. Popcorn was a bit too salty for my taste to be honest.
Melanie ( — Google review
Definitely need to have an A/C contract with after hours service that is at regular rate. Quincy Heating and Air might be a place to check for that option. Watching a movie in that theater without A/C is rough and we don’t want the theater to close. Love this theater option.

Went and saw Harvey last night. The play was fun. The audience was a bit more upper brow. Loved it. Clean. Chardonney, something else, a few cans of select beer, a handful of candy bars and water at the cashiers booth. Would recommend. The date on the photos is off. It was actually the 23rd.

I went to see their Elf production and absolutely loved it! The cast and crew are very talented, energetic and fun! The talent is beyond what I would expect from a community theater. I would see this show over and over, if I could.

So much fun 😁 We saw the local Soap Lake Masquers Theater production of Arsenic and Old Lace ❣️👏👏👏

The shows are wonderful and so are the people. I've had the privilege of seeing two shows here and acting in five. Concessions are provided by the nearby Don's Restaurant, and since it's such a cozy theater, every seat in the house is good with a clear, close view of the stage.

Dry Falls Visitor Center

Visitor center
Very beautiful place, friendly visitor center and park rangers, such a scenic route driving from Wenatchee to Dry falls, especially some snow views, frozen lakes, rivers and sunset. Nice hot tea provided in the visitor center and Very clean toilet after a long drive.

Amazing scenery, amazing geologic history! Did you know that a MASSIVE flood lasting only a couple days carved out this and other landforms in Eastern Washington? Huge lakes behind glacier dams broke free and moved cubic miles of water from Montana, through this and surrounding areas, moving great quantities of boulders and rocks and silt to Portland and beyond!
Andy P — Google review
Ran across this by chance. Neat little area to check out with a great view. Very quiet when I was there.
Kayla C — Google review
This place is awesome! The park rangers and staff were friendly and knowledgeable and there was so much fascinating information on the geologic history of the area. There's a small gift shop inside and the bathrooms were clean. Definitely worth stopping at if you're driving by.

The views are amazing. Center was closed the day we visited. We drove all around the bottom near the campground/ park prior to going to the visitor center. Interesting history of the falls.
Danette K — Google review
This view is from the visitor center. Going to the state park will take you down inside. I visited early August 2022. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Breezy. The view is spectacular. The visitor center offers all the history, a knowledgeable ranger and a store. There was a beverage/ice cream truck available and table and chairs overlooking the dry falls where you can enjoy your treat. Highly recommend if you're anywhere close by. So worth the drive.

My friend said lets look, and I said I had enough of these grand walls. As we needed a restroom we stopped anyway. When I looked down I was blown away by what I saw. Then I read everything on the information stands- absolutely fascinating. Now I would like to return to this important piece of Earth’s history.

So we seen this place called the Scablands online and it seemed impressive and we really wanted to explore it. Turns out we could only see it from an aerial view and the dry falls was the area we could visit. It used to be a huge water fall miles wide, so it was still cool to see and learn more about. There was also an ice cream vendor right there. Nice stop.

Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park offers a stunning view of the Dry Falls from a high cliff overlooking the lake. The park features campgrounds, picnic areas, boat rentals, a state-run golf course and a beach. Visitors can also explore the area by taking a bumpy dirt road to the bottom of the falls but it is only recommended if boating.
I love going here. It's been a few years. Google maps takes you to the bottom of the falls. You can drive all the way to the end. You want to be aware low, clearance cars CANNOT make this trip. Some of the road is paved, but most is off- road, dirt road with many large rocks that need to be straddled or navigated around. The visitor center is above off the main road instead of turning to go down into the canyon with the lakes.
Chandra J — Google review
It is very beautiful and amazing geology! Nice hiking, swimming fishing, camping and hot showers. There is also fly fishing lessons and boating. Visitor center is only open 3 days a week but hopefully more days soon. It has detailed exhibit explaining the remarkable geology of the breathtaking view. There is also a concession with reportedly the best huckleberry ice cream in Washington and I can vouch for that!
Humminghorse — Google review
Great inexpensive way to visit this area. (**Deep Lake has a trail to cliff jumping!) Paddle boat, canoe and boat rentals are reasonably priced. Weekends during the summer need reservations in advance. Mid-week is usually available anytime. Picnic sites on the lake fill up quickly. Arrive early (before 9:30am) for a good choice. Can be over 100° at times during July and August.
Jennifer P — Google review
Gorgeous lakes. Deep lake was fairly clear even after this hot summer, and was an incredible paddle from one end to the other. Some waterfowl including a bald eagle, quail, some form of red headed duck. The water was clear enough you could see the shelf where the water drops off into the inky darkness below. Several small fish jumping, and spotted a catfish in the shallows. Paddle from one end to the other (of Deep Lake) is about 1.5 hours for a strong paddler at a leisurely pace. Boat ramp was very slippery, so I ended up entering from the sandy spot rather than falling on my... into the water.

Renegade 38ft with Jeep in tow - Site E10 - FHU 50A - 2 nighter - beautiful area and park. Sites were not full so no one either side. In front was an old hippie in a toy hauler and a Speedo. Can't unsee. Now, mosquitoes. Bring weight belts for small children & pets so the mosquitoes can't carry them off. Seriously bad. We ordered a 30 sec pop up screen house since we camped here. Gave up on being outside. Grand Coulee Dam & the visitor center near Dry Falls are must see. Small casino, 12 Tribes Coulee Dam Casino, made a donation. We camped at Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park in a Motorhome.

Dry Falls

Waterfall
Nature & Parks
Scenic, expansive landscape of scalloped cliffs & groundwater-fed lakes, plus a visitor center.
To see the Dry Falls and learn about its history during the last ice age floods was absolutely fascinating. An integral feature in the Channelled Scablands of Washington it is a must see in Washington, yet it remains relatively unknown and unheralded. A drive up the Columbia River from Kennewick to the Scablands and the Grand Coulee Dam , then Chelan and the North Cascades Loop is one of the great road trips of North America

We were spending time in Leavenworth and went an hour and a half Northeast of there to go check out dry falls and it was very impressive! So glad we took the time to do it. 🤘 If we had gone earlier in the day there was a lot more to see so plan ahead and get there as early as possible so you can really take in all the sites

Breath taking place. Went to a lower point of it (Dry Falls Lake) and to the high point (Dry Falls Vista House) where all the beauty can be viewed from above. There are a lot of parks and resorts before getting to the destination, like Parks Lake or Sun Lake resort. There is also a golf corse in that area. Good place for family to spend time at. (Swimming, fishing, playground, hiking). Enjoyed this place with my family.

Simply one of the most stunning examples of the power of natural forces. Seeing this formed in a matter of hours would have been both terrifying and awe-inspiring. The visitors center is in desperate need of a remodel/ restoration but is loaded with information for those who are curious and would like to know about geologic catastrophism. The park ranger we spoke with was VERY knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about this natural wonder. Please don't hesitate to ask the rangers questions, that's why they're there! Please, please stop and experience the Dry Falls for yourself.

It’s absolutely stunning!!! One thing I liked on the way here was the scenic views are all over the place so you can stop and go and take some photos or selfies. the views was amazing and it’s like nonstop.

Incredible! A total geological marvel! Bring your binoculars cuz you're going to want them. Visiting the outer rim is free. You don't need a pass but to go down and into where the falls I guess really would have been. You will need a pass. I believe it's a federal pass also, it's not a state park pass. There's fishing in the area birding hiking kayaking and I believe some camping. The visitor center has a really good view and some great placards explaining the geology and wildlife.

The Links at Moses Pointe

Golf course
Outdoor Activities
Restaurant
This course is very well maintained and a blast to play. The terrain is diverse with some nice challenging holes. Club house, bar, and restaurant staff are welcoming and eager to ensure you have a good time. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to play here. If I had to say 1 thing that wasn't my favorite about the course, its that the greens are a bit fast, but that's definitely not enough of an issue to prevent me from playing here time and time again.
Jessie S — Google review
Service was good.orders took awhile to come out. Food was okay but not great for the price. Nice outdoor patio seating. I guess if your super hungry after golf it would hit the spot but probably better options in town for the price point.
Matthew I — Google review
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COURSE! GO TO LATAH CREEK OR QUALCHAN! Every single sandtrap on the course is absolute GARBAGE! Every one of them has huge rocks in it and one was hidden under the sand and ruined my new club. I went into the pro shop carrying the rock and told the guy that for the price of the course, I would think that their sand wouldn't have giant rocks. I also told him that it ruined my club. He then proceeded to tell me "A pro would say not to go in the sand" and was extremely rude to me. It ruined my entire round and my entire day. NEVER GO TO THIS COURSE. Why would you pay $70 to play here when Latah Creek and The Creek at Qualchan are close by and ARE A MILLION TIMES BETTER!!!! The sand at these courses is actual sand, not just hard dirt filled with rocks. The greens are better, the fairways are better, the terrain is better. All for the same price. I played those courses the day after and had the time of my life. I will never recommend nor return to this horrible course. Was a waste of money and a wasted day. Costing me $270 in the end after having to buy a new sandwedge.

Still my favorite golf course I've ever played I love Moses point it is fire and it is totally affordable Play it if you can get there play it it's awesome greens are great. Fairways are great courses still tough as ever
William D — Google review
This is a hidden gem!! It plays really long from the tips, and is always in surprisingly excellent shape. Greens seem to be consistently running 9-10. If it's a windy day, be prepared to shoot some high scores. Good risk reward opportunities with challenging water hazards.

Beautiful views, and nice Restaurant/Bar. Course is diverse and has a plethora of geography. Lots of Sand. Outdoor seating area overlooks the Lake, and Golf Course. Surf 'n Slide Water Park

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Public swimming pool
Lakeside aquatic park with a large pool, 3 slides, a river for tube floating & a surfing simulator.
Great way to cool down on a hot day. My kids absolutely loved the park. Admission fee was reasonably priced. Felt safe with all the life guards that are constantly on duty. Outside food is allowed but there is also a place that sells food their as well. We got a chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream cone and some authentic tacos but there is a lot more to choose from. We loved the lazy river and splash pad area. We had a great family fun day!
Dallas E — Google review
We traveled from Yakima and were pretty disappointed. We had two small children that were under 48 inches and they could only participate in the pool, the very small kids area and lazy river. If this were local, it would not have been so bad but to drive an hour and a half really felt not worth it.

Been coming here for a few years now...My son's loved it since the 1st visit, and has grown to go farther and farther towards the "big kid" area. Cool waterslides, snack bar, lazy river, and a wave rider station. Lockable lockers and showers. They have a full lifeguard team, great place for a family day and 5 minutes from Chicos Pizza!
Jeremy O — Google review
Have been away from Moses Lake for about 15 years, which is about the last time I was at the Aquatic Center. It was really great to see how much the place has kept up with the growing demands of the community. While I can't say I loved the cost, compared to what it was when I was a kid, I loved being able to give my kids a little slice of my childhood.
Ryan S — Google review
Great family fun! Awesome spot to go with family, clean, water is always perfect. It has a lazy River, large swimming areas, diving boards, surf stimulator, shallow pool section for young children, sand box with toys, 2 sand volleyball courts, great slides. Bring your own food cooler but if you don’t no worries there’s vendor options. It’s a safe place for all ages.
Ivy G — Google review
Well maintained water park only a 20 min drive from our campground. Plenty of parking and plenty of chairs and picnic tables. Although you can bring your own food/drinks and snacks there's a hamburger/tacos and ice-cream stand. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There's an indoor community shower with soap but be aware before you decide to shower your kiddos the water is really hot and you have to keep pushing for more every minute. I guess is only to rinse yourself but used it in between playing in the pool to warm me up lol! Kids under 2 are free and between 2 to 5 are $8 The rest is $16. You can reentry with outside food anytime. There's a grass area where you can put a blanket or your own chairs or tent if you decid to bring them. Bring your own towels or by some at their shop which also sells sunglasses and other waters accessories.
Adriana S — Google review
It would have been a little higher rated but after only 1 hr there they closed the park because of low attendance and no refund or discount for another day because it was after 1pm. So we paid 80 for one hour of play and therfore not a good value. Other than that the kids had fun before being disappointed.
Angela Z — Google review
Nice place to enjoy yourself, lazy river was closed without explanation when we went. Almost everything has a height requirement, so beware if you have little ones. They probably won't be able to do much.

I was told by the card dealers that the pizza was good. So after I lost $300 I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a modelo. The modelo was fabulous. Pizza was undercooked. Cheese was still in it's raw form and pepperoni still soft and raw looking. Not delicious. Thought about asking the waitress if they could put it in the oven for a few more minutes but she was busy and didn't make it back for a while. I ate the edges that were slightly less raw and didn't complain cause she didn't ask me how my food was. Gave her a meager $5 tip and went on my way

I would say that the idea of getting old saddens me. But that would be a lie. I would be able to more reasonably say I belong in a museum and that would make me happy. Free admission, membership as low as $1 and 50% off t-shirts! Could I have gone at a better time? If I had only got the membership first to get the 10% off. No matter it was all worth it. I loved this museum. Plenty of verity and a lot look at! Staff was friendly and helpful. All around a wonderful experience. I look forward to going again soon. I highly recommend that if you haven't been here you go soon.

I had such a great time at this museum! Free admission and a super affordable membership—plus 50% off t-shirts—made it even better. The variety of exhibits was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved the old-school pressed penny machine, too! It was the perfect place for a fun, educational experience with the kids. Definitely recommend visiting, and I can’t wait to go back soon!

This is my 5th year here in Moses Lake, but it was my very first time going to this place. Specifically because of the pressed pennies. Yes, when I learned of it, I just could not let it pass. The machine is a manual one, not electric, which I think every pressed penny machine should be. The old crank it your self style. The location is just by the main lobby. You will not miss it!

Steamboat Rock State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Huge lakeside park with trails, seasonal campsites & boating facilities amid dramatic basalt cliffs.
This park is one of our go-to places for winter and early spring camping and hiking. When snow is still on the palour, and ice is still on the lake, the park is snow free and hiking trails are accessible. The hikes here provide beautiful views and a great workout. We did the Northrup Canyon hike for the first time this visit. It was rather muddy in places, but otherwise a great hike with beautiful sights. The hike to the top of Steamboat Rock is always sure to provide gorgeous views and this time was no different. Despite ice covering part of the lake, the trails were clear with just a tiny amount of mud. He campground is huge, and though only a couple of loops are open this time of year, there were plenty of sites to choose from. The bathrooms are fully functional and well stocked with showers (always a bonus when camping, especially in muddy conditions). We highly recommend this park.
Wandering A — Google review
We drove out here on a whim! We stayed for a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed ourselves. We want to come back and camp one day! We played, swam, and ate from the concession stand. It is a beautifully maintained park.
Arianna — Google review
Steamboat rock State Park is a amazing campground and park It has plenty of amenities with eas access to the lake, boat and restrooms. Mosquito's and ticks were not a issue for my family of humans and dogs although I have heard of that being a issue here. The men's restroom had a broken urinal and the air dryers were worthless. My only big complaint with the campground is it was being over run by scooters at high speed. Steamboat rock trail was a quick and challenging scenic hike. Proper footwear and water is highly recommended due to hot temps in the summer and unstable ground while ascending steamboat rock.
Andrew L — Google review
Well maintained park. It resembles more like a privately operated RV park rather than a state park. Very clean bathrooms with some that have private bathroom/shower units. Walking paths connect all loops and provide access to beaches. An Ice cream truck drives around the loops in the evenings providing ice-cream and ice for a reasonable rate. There is a concession stand that sells pizza and candy. If you're up for a moderate to difficult hike, you can climb the monolith about 300 feet above the park providing a 360 degree view around Banks Lake.
Dana R — Google review
We just got a day pass on our way through the area on our road trip and it was a great place to visit for a few hours and we will definitely be back for an overnight visit as the place was amazing! Dog friendly, quiet (except for the geese lol), well kept and clean. A beautiful park to walk around. Plus it’s close to the Grand Coulee Dam which we also got to visit

Discovery Pass required. Lots of trails to explore. I took the path around the swim area. Great views of Banks lake. I've climbed to the top of Steamboat rock. Worth the visit to hike and or camp, swim, boating, etc.

Great place to camp. Beautiful views, great boating and swimming and fishing very well. Kept campground highly recommend.
Kurtis S — Google review
Beautiful state park. If you’re looking for a peaceful experience this park is best enjoyed in the offseason as the lake becomes very busy with boaters and water skiers during the hot months. I liked the Sage Loop best for camping as there are mature trees for shade and the grassy sites ample. There is no privacy, the sites are open to one another. Lots of walking and hiking trails from the park.

Spectacular, great park and campground. I was just there 6.8 2020 and the campground and park are gated closed,no sign if when to open. There is plenty if beach around so you can still enjoy the area. This is the Keller Ferry area just outside the park

Fort Spokane campground sites are very open with little privacy--no shrubs, few trees. Our site had only 2 ponderosa pines, far apart. But if you're mainly on your boat or kayak all day, no big deal. Good roads for kids to bike and stay nearby. Walk-down paddle launch and 2 docks at campground, which were good. Very steep walk down, however, when water level is low, which would be difficult or impossible for people with mobility issues. Too bad there isn't a better beach for swimming, playing in sand. Too rocky here. But if you head up the Spokane River there are plenty of primitive sandy beaches, when water level is low enough; same with the lake, though you will need to motor further north.

I mean it's the biggest dam in the world. I mean damn it's big. It's a damned fine structure. It's a damn nice park. I mean damn you should really visit this place.

Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is very long, encompassing Lake Roosevelt. Lake Roosevelt is an impoundment of the Columbia River behind one of the major landmark reclamation projects of the 1930s: the Grand Coulee Dam and power station. A large bust of Franklin D. Roosevelt gazes across the impoundment from the vantage point above the Dam.

It's always beautiful here. Being by the Columbia river basin makes you feel so Luis and Clarky. It is such a beautiful place...

Heaven on earth right here. We absolutely love visiting the Dam and the lake each year. The fireworks display on the 4th is AMAZING! Thank you for putting this on! The parks are all well maintained- clean- and beautiful. Lots of education and the Dam itself is mind boggling!

We pulled in with four people just before they closed and they rolled out the red carpet for us. We had such great conversations about local and regional history. If you can catch them when they are open, this place is a gem.

Been here 19 years and finally checked out our local piece of history. It was very eclectic and informational. It's amazing to see how far we've come through history! Highly recommend checking out this little piece of history if you're in the area!

Visited this place randomly and found some pretty cool things inside. I didn't get a bunch of pics from the place but definitely a place to hang out an burn some time if needed. There's also an EV charging system there for your car if you need it.

Absolutely one of the best museums I have been in! Very well organized. Denise gave us a tour and she was delightful, informative and made the tour so much fun! You can really see the care and love that was put into preserving history! Highly recommend take a tour.

It’s a really good museum with friendly staff and a good collection of stuff. Their railroad collection is minor but that’s fine as the rail museum is a few minutes away. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic experience, really appreciated the breadth of items and knowledge, and the personal walkthrough. You can tell a lot of work is being done to preserve the history of the area. Would highly recommend!

A lovely small county museum with a lot of history from the area. I really enjoyed the collection of black and white photos from the surrounding towns, in addition to the hand plow collection. Helpful and friendly staff/volunteer.

Sprague Lake Resort

Campground
Outdoor Activities
Other Outdoor Activities
After years of driving past this lake on I-90 we decided to take detour and stay the night. The town of Sprague is not much to write home about, and the drive into the resort was also a bit sketchy. However, that final turn into the resort was surprising. It was clean, organized and well maintained. It's been owned by the same woman for 22 years, and she's been on site for 52 years! We did a quick walk around, picked a campsite and got setup. We quickly fell in love with the simplicity of everything. She even let me borrow a fishing pole. In the evening our campsite was invaded by turtles, which was a delight, proving this place is full of surprises. It may not be the most posh RV spot on the planet, but the Sprague Lake Resort did not disappoint!
Chris B — Google review
One of the most beautiful camp spots we have stayed in. Easy on and off I-90. Serene, well kept grounds and meticulously clean. It is privately owned so not fancy with pools and such. People were fishing and relaxing. This hidden gem is breathtakingly picturesque. It has plenty of shade and grass. Full hook ups as well as beautiful tent spots. We have a new favorite!
Loriiz B — Google review
Decent place, but bathrooms and shower aren’t great. Everything is pretty clean but the toilets are low and small, tight stalls and open air. The shower is so small my truck camper’s is bigger. Nightly rates are fair but they nickel and dime you for everything and charge 5% for using a card, $5 deposit for a shower etc. They also gouge you for rv dump 10 per night, so if staying more than 1 night it’s cheaper to dump at the gas station in Ritzville. The train is noisy and may keep you awake at night. On the plus side it’s green and shaded. Saw some nice fish landed at the dock though our luck wasn’t great.
Jordan O — Google review
Beautiful place. Lots of trains. If you are a light sleeper, this isn't the place for you. The owner doesn't like outdoor rugs on the ground, which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but there was goose and duck poo everywhere. Also, she doesn't allow radio on outside your trailer. If you are a fussy camper, this isn't the place for you.
Joleen W — Google review
Beautiful place. Host is nice. However, prices are a little high. Base price for two people and additional price for more people. Wifi is not free. Can by bundles of wood which are a bit pricey. Bathrooms are okay but showers were locked. There are electric and sewer hookups.
Galen O — Google review
I am here now! This place smells terrible! There is ZERO swimming. This is a place for people that are driving through and have no where else to park. Don't bring kids here. I will never be back!!!! There was a couple looking at the lake with a horrified look on their faces. Same experience I had!
Tina L — Google review
Monica sticks to her rules, but she keeps the place clean and enjoyable. Peaceful, if you don't mind a few trains going buy. Fantastic views from every spot. The lake is warm and has a lot of algae, so our kids didn't want to swim in it. Kayaking was fun, however.
Matthew J — Google review
Beautiful resort! I didn't stay this time but it's 40$ per night(I think that's high but might just b me) and RV&tent camping right on the lake! Fishing too! I didn't see any stores around. I recommend checking Sprague Lake Resort out for sure!

I stumbled upon this distillery when researching local distilleries in the area. I decided to make the short trip from Spokane and I'm glad I did. It is clear that the couple is passionate about their business and it shows in the products. They have a varied selection of spirits, but I have a fondness for bourbons. Everything I tasted was smooth and rich in flavor. Suffice to say, I just had to buy everything that I tasted! I definitely plan to be back again and will be bringing friends & family next time!
Anthony D — Google review
Fantastic and smooth, a slight bite but nothing overwhelming, warm and savory to the last sip. Well done you’ve made a proper drink. Hey from Colorado Springs Colorado
Ian B — Google review
Local, handcrafted, kind! When we arrived one if the owners, Greg, have us a personal tour of his facility. We were able to talk about the history of the distillery, their process, and passion regarding spirits. Afterwards, Greg allowed us to sample any of the products in their line up. He was kind, and filled with knowledge about each spirit they made. We ended up trying multiple flavored vodkas, whiskeys, and a brandy. Each spirit was clean, unique, and low sugar (focuses the flavor on the drink not just sweetness). Really high quality product and a really fun place to visit.
Kyle S — Google review
Had a tour by the owner and a tasting. Interesting and learned about the distilling process. The quality of the spirits are top notch. I particularly liked the gin, a unique combination of natural herbs, juniper, spicing that was well balanced. The aged gin was also excellent, a combination of gin and oak barrel whiskey that was unique and lovely just sipped neat. Drove past Long lake on the way home to Spokane with gorgeous views. Plan to go back and to pick up spirits for gifts and special occasions.

Great customer service and tastey spirits as well. This small business seems to be one of the few that truely care about the craft over profits margins. I will continue to support them as they grow. The Gin is exceptional!

From the moment we arrived at Spokane Tribe Resort and Casino, we were blown away by the exceptional hospitality and pristine condition of the property. Every inch of the resort is spotless — from the sparkling lobby floors to the well-maintained guest rooms. You can tell cleanliness is a top priority here, and it made our stay feel safe, comfortable, and relaxing. The front desk and valet were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Check-in was smooth and professional, and every question we had was met with helpful, knowledgeable responses. This resort is truly a hidden gem in the Spokane area. We felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely impressed throughout our entire stay. Spokane Tribe Resort and Casino has absolutely earned our loyalty — we can’t wait to return!

If your considering going to the concert venue here please be aware its roughly 50% standing room only, the sound is OK at best, and the lighting setup while pretty cool will dang near blind you multiple times on its sweeps. Restaurant was pretty dang decent but the casino floor is smokey as all-get-out.

We have eaten at the Three Peaks restaurant a few times now and our food has always been delicious! The portions are big enough to take home leftovers for another meal. Our server today, Desiree, was so friendly, warm, and efficient. You are lucky to have such a wonderful employee!

This particular casino, where my luck consistently runs against me, is where I recently experienced a significant loss. I spent a considerable amount of time playing the penny games offered at Max. However, I finally managed to take advantage of the hotel accommodations. Yes, the stay itself was enjoyable. It would have been truly exceptional if I had ultimately won. Nevertheless, it was a five-star experience overall.

Went to the Halloween party last night.... Absolutely loved the decoration the lighting and everything they put into it... However... The DJ and music choice sucked so bad. I went because I wanted to dance..."this being a dance and all," you really couldn't get into it. The music was all over the place from the DJ, playing house trap music, "safe music," and censored some of the songs though this was an adult only party. The band was playing old rock music that you couldn't dance to. Had the music been better this party would have been poppin. I watched from my table and watched the energy of the room. This could have been so much better if the choice of music was right. PLEASE... Do better next year with this and find someone who plays music you can actually get into and dance. Sincerely from the painted Indian. Áho

I went to see the Dasha concert. Dasha was great, but it was primarily-standing room only. Not the way I want to spend 3 hours! The sound system was clear even at the high decibel. A plus +. They had drinks foe sale, as well as the Artist's Merch. And they had plenty of staff.

Northern Quest Resort & Casino

Resort hotel
Casinos & Gambling
Contemporary casino hotel with nightlife, plus an indoor pool, a fitness center & a spa.
Monday night and this place was hopping crazy wild & crowded. The slots were all paying, lots of action here. Best place to gamble on this side of the mountains. The rooms in the hotel are beautiful and updated. Casino personnel are polite and have a great attitude. There is something to eat for anyone here, restaurants are all over the edge of the casino floor area. Drinks are reasonably priced. I will definitely come back.

Room was decent and clean. Beds were comfy. The whole casino, resort was confusing. The elevator to go up to our room was quite a distance from check in. We first went to the nearest elevator but only got to the 3rd floor because it was only for employees. So we went to the stairs to go back down because you need your key card & ours didn't work in that elevator, so we ended up on the backside of the resort, & we had to walk all the way around to the front entrance to figure out how to get to our room. When I booked, they did not inform me that the sports bar was closed for renovations. Truly disappointed. Service was good during the day on the casino floor, but not good at night. Sometimes we had to walk through much of the casino to get a drink at the bar. Seemed very inconvenient. Not sure I would revisit.

Nice hotel, great amenities. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tastefully decorated. Bathroom was large with amazing shower. TV service very spotty and kept freezing. Restaurants and cafes great. Not crazy about the smoking allowed inside the casino that you have to walk through to get anywhere. Especially when you have kids with you. But overall a good experience.

Great concerts! Awesome venue to see bands! Comfy and clean rooms! Cool Kids Quest! Don't really like the smokey casino:( Masselow's is awesome, so is the cigar bar. I wish they had more options for food late at night:(

What a perfect, outdoor concert venue! We stayed at the resort, had an absolutely amazing dinner at the steak restaurant, attended the concert in this relatively intimate setting, played a bit at the casino and headed to bed. In the morning, we hit up the coffee shop using points from our gambling to pay for our beverages. So easy to navigate! We cannot wait to do a repeat!!
Kristen W — Google review
The Casino is Bigger than it looks from outside, plenty of different types of slots and table games.. only 1 thing missing.. waitresses, have to walk to a central type bar set up for refreshments was a little inconvenient not sure if they have walk around hostess service I don't recall seeing any (I may be wrong)1st time going there dropped a couple hundred hit a couple bonuses and nice line hits left a winner not massive but got my funds back and some of theirs. Worth the short drive.. compared to a local So. Cal Casino and Resort.. I have been going to for years that starts with a Y and ends with an A that 8 out of 10 times I go I loose my shirt. Was a welcome change to win for a change and not get hosed with $1.80-$3.70 free spin bonuses wins after sinking $40 -$60 in it and not even hit a combination with 15-20 freespins at least 4 or 5 times in a row is ridiculous.. so to go there for the 1st time and have fun win a few hundred and not walk out feeling disgusted is a good feeling definitely going back.

Thank you for the delicious local Spokane cider, and the beautiful history about the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. This gen x was thrilled to play Ms. Pac-Man, and other games in the arcade. Probably one of the nicest RV parks we've ever stayed in. They have wonderful amenities, large sites that are easy to get into, and the place is kept in incredible shape. Riverside State Park spans 14,000 acres of woodlands along the Spokane River, offering a variety of outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and off-roading. It is easily accessible from Spokane and requires a Washington state park discover pass for parking. The park features numerous hiking trails with scenic views of the river and lake areas. Visitors can enjoy walking, mountain biking, and camping in well-kept grounds with options for full hook-ups.
Great easy loop trail plenty of parking and amazing views. You need the Discover pass to park. The trail is very easy to walk, the views are spectacular and is a very quiet place to gather your thoughts. We got there about 8 15 am and it was deserted but by 1000 am it got crowded. Porto John's and regular bathroom facilities are available at the parking lot. I highly recommend this location.

We attended an AERC endurance ride and camped with horses at the airstrip. The trail system here is quite remarkable. Many multi use trails with a variety of views and technicalities. We really enjoyed our ride (30 miles) and are already considering visiting again on our own. There was a new shelter with picnic tables. Bring your own shade and water in the summer. The weekend we were there, the water was turned off.

We stayed downtown at Ruby River Hotel. It's right on the Centennial Trail, & they allow ebikes in your room. The first day we went East, it was interesting, but no great. The second day we traveled west, a very interesting ride. We stopped for lunch part way, then rode to the military cemetery and back to the hotel. The trail was great, riding thru beautiful residential areas, thru some lightly forested areas above the river. About 20 miles? The 3rd day we drive to the military cemetery then ride to 9 Mile Falls, we enjoyed lunch at the riverside park, and then back. About 24 miles? The 3rd day was one of the best days I've had in quite a while. Staying downtown allowed us to walk to shopping and dinners, overall our trip was amazing!

So close to the city and easy to access. So many miles of hiking trails makes for a new hike every time you visit. Bring your Washington state park discover pass though. 33 dollars a year is a bargain to access this park and every other state park. You can also purchase a pass for the day at the park for 10 dollars. Kiosks are available for that purpose. I go year round, highly recommend taking the kids out or bring the dog.
Daniel P — Google review
I live in Walla Walla and this place is always worth the drive to Spokane. Hardly anyone there. You need a discover pass to park at the trail head campground but there's a turnout a half mile before where the view is gorgeous and it connects to the main trail so I never pay. Also worth noting. Don't get confused by the fact that there are two parks, one on each side. I always put in the one that has the suspension bridge and do my exploring on that side. The other side of the river I believe there's a park of some sort bit these are all from the campground side. There's lots of trails if you cross the bridge and explore and the trail on the same side of the campground goes downriver and is really pretty

Beautiful area. Beautiful park. So many trails and it's absolutely peaceful and perfect on a weekday. This park is worth the drive to check out. There's roads south of the entrance that looks like on maps that it's a much bigger area with intersecting roads, you could get pretty lost and it's perfect for that if you're trying to accomplish disappearing lmao.

Very beautiful wildlife refuge! You'll feel like your miles and miles away. Also, the rangers are very nice & helpful and the bathrooms are clean. We didn't see any large animals (moose, elk), but saw and heard a lot of small animals & birds.

Can't say enough nice things about this place. They had a nice little gift shop and education center. There is a 5.5 mile driving loop that is beautiful with lots of spots to park and walk trails. The trails are all easy walks. We saw a swan and a moose and lots of chipmunks and birds. Looking forward to going back in spring to see the wild flowers.

Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge in Cheney, WA is truly one of those rare places that leaves a lasting impression on your soul. From the moment you enter, you can feel the peace and stillness that nature offers here. The refuge is beautifully maintained, and everything from the trails to the viewing areas reflects the care and respect the staff and volunteers have for this land and the wildlife that call it home. Every visit feels like stepping into a living postcard. The scenery changes with the seasons, offering something new and breathtaking each time, from vibrant wetlands and pine forests to serene lakes that perfectly mirror the sky. The abundance of wildlife is incredible. It’s not uncommon to see moose, elk, deer, and a variety of birds all in one visit. The moose sightings alone make this place special, and seeing one up close, peacefully moving through the landscape, is a moment you don’t forget. One of the highlights of Turnbull is the 5.5-mile auto loop, which allows you to drive your car through the refuge at your own pace. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to experience the beauty and wildlife up close without having to leave their vehicle. Along this scenic route, you’ll find incredible photo opportunities and peaceful moments surrounded by nature. It’s not uncommon for moose to wander right past your car, giving you an unforgettable close encounter in a completely natural setting. The staff here are genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about conservation. They are always willing to share insights about the refuge, the animals, and the history of the area. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the refuge so clean, accessible, and inviting for visitors. All the trails are thoughtfully laid out and very well maintained. Most are easy and suitable for all ages, making this an ideal spot for families, photographers, hikers, and anyone who just wants to reconnect with nature. Whether you come for a quiet walk, wildlife photography, or simply to breathe and unwind, Turnbull delivers peace and beauty in every direction. This is truly a hidden gem of the Pacific Northwest, a place that deserves to be experienced no matter where you’re coming from. If you love nature, serenity, and wildlife, make the trip. You won’t regret it.
