Nestled on the Chelan Butte with stunning views of Lake Chelan, Slidewaters is a popular family-friendly water park in the Northwest. It offers a variety of attractions suitable for all ages and swimming abilities. From the 500-foot Lazy River to beginner slides like Bug-a-Boo for parents and toddlers, as well as thrilling options like Tube Blaster and Purple Haze, there's something for everyone.
We had a blast and will definitely be back. The price was affordable, the staff was polite, and the overall vibe was laid back. It wasn’t too busy and had enough activities to keep us busy for hours.
Falan M — Google review
We visited Slidewaters as two adults and one child and paid $85 for all of us. 🏖️ Totally worth it! The water park is compact and easy to navigate — you don’t need to walk far between attractions. 👣 Great for families with kids! You can grab a bite right inside 🍔🍟 — burgers, fries, soda, and even ice cream 🍦. It was pretty busy, but the atmosphere was still fun and enjoyable. 😎 Lots of slides are family-friendly, and many allow you to ride together with your child, which is a big plus! 👨‍👩‍👧💦 Definitely recommend for a summer day in Chelan! 🌞🎉
Олександр Р — Google review
Clean, fun water slides, sandy volleyball court, and cool wave pool. All different cultures and ages can come to learn to surf or enjoy watching others surf while drinking a cold delightful beverage. Lots of places to lay out your towel for sunbathing and enjoyment. The only thing that bothered me is the price of food. Still worth going to relax and have fun 😊
Cassandra B — Google review
Is a great place to take the kids. If you are new to the park, is good to know a few things: bring beach towels, is up to you but you can bring little tents since is very common to see family's bringing them and setting it down on the grass. You can rent a cabana but only if you want a private space and don't want to pack anything to sit. Also upstairs there are chairs and lounge chairs with umbrellas that you can sit and relax. Since I went on a not so sunny day it was ok but looks like it could be very sunny upstairs not a problem if you like the sun. The slides are fun, just prepare to walk up the hills, it is for all ages literally, I will come back. Ohhh bring food if you don't want to eat fast food other than that they sell the regular things you can find in places like this, burgers, fries, etc.
Maria C — Google review
We had such an amazing time at Slidewaters in Chelan! I went with friends and it was the perfect spot for a fun, memorable day. The slides were a blast, the water was refreshing, and the whole place had such a positive, summer vibe. Everything was clean, well-kept, and the staff made sure things ran smoothly. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Chelan and want to have a good time with friends or family.
Motivation D — Google review
Awesome place! Small area for square footage, but packed tight with tons of slides. All of them are fun in their own way, and range in intensity for all ages. Only warning from my experience is that the intermediate slide #3 almost yeet-ed me off the slide.... left side of my body was out of the tube, but I survived. I didn't actually do that slide again. No running start on it either... but I'm a big guy, so maybe it was an issue of mass x velocity.... but my two kids played hard all day, and refused to leave... but we're passed out once seated in the car. Only picture i got was of the hang out pool that we sat beside.
Joshua F — Google review
Great for all ages . Granddaughter was 3 and she could touch the bottom of the lazy river. perfect for little kids and she went down 4 of the small waterslides while I waited at the bottom for her . We had older kids with us too perfect for a family. Bring a soft cooler, hard coolers not allowed . Bring sand toys too there is sand area above to play in for kids or a volleyball. You can bring small tents for shade or to rest in on grass !!! Bought my ticket online got there at 830 to line up before opening no wait YAY!!!

Lady Of The Lake

Boat tour agency
Transportation
Lady Of The Lake is a popular tourist attraction in the state of Washington, offering visitors stunning views and a variety of outdoor activities. One way to experience the beauty of Lake Chelan and its surrounding towns is through helicopter tours offered by Lake Chelan Helicopters. In addition to aerial tours, visitors can also enjoy boat rides on the lake, providing breathtaking views of the scenery.
Nice getaway! Had a relaxing trip to Stehekin and enjoyed the views from the ferry. It was long, but a beautiful ride. The guides were super friendly and funny!
Shae F — Google review
Had a great time going to Stehekin. Went to the bakery and Rainbow Falls. Took the fast Lady Liberty up and the Lady Express back. Rented electric bikes and toured around. Fun.
Dennis H — Google review
One of the great experiences on The Cascade Loop with a ferry ride on Lake Chelan to the remote town of Stehekin. I boarded The Lady Express in Chelan for a two and half hour ride to Stehekin with several stops along the way. It was nice to learn about the points of interest along the lake including the narrowest part of the lake. It was amazing to be on the lake with great views of peaks and Mountains along the lake. The ferry has a restroom and and a snack shop on board. I booked the Rainbow Falls tour with a stop at the bakery and a great experience in Stehekin. Stehekin has one restaurant and limited lodging options, but there are a number of tours of the lower valley that will not take all day. Located at the Lake Chelan Boat Company on W Woodin, which is US-97 Alt in Chelan. A great place to take a ferry on Lake Chelan to a remote town with a number of tour options and amazing views of the deepest Gorge in North America.
Ed L — Google review
From Chelan, we rode the Liberty to Stehekin. Spent our day checking it out, but the ride home on the Express was a blast. What a hot rod. Lake was smooth enough it was a hour and half ride. We will go again. I didn't get a photo of the express, just the video of the ride.
John P — Google review
Nice ferry ride out to and back from Stehekin. You can park at Chelan or Fields Landing to start this adventure. Keep a close eye on the departure times and plan accordingly.
Laura S — Google review
This boat ride was worth every penny and contributed to a great vacation in the Cascades. The dock is easy to find and as soon as you arrive, everything is easy from parking to boarding. Ride itself was smooth and on a clean boat. The folding chairs aren't the most comfortable but this is not a luxury cruise. The pilot was great and his narratives were very educational. We rode to Stehekin and took the Rainbow falls tour which I'd highly recommend. The snack bar on the boat is very small so I'd recommend bringing your own food and drinks. I'd take this tour again if I come back to the area.
Christopher S — Google review
It was a great ride to Stehekin, we did the 1.5 hour layover but when we do it again I will do the 3 hour, we could have spent more time.
Cassandra M — Google review
I did the day trip up to Stehekien, 3.5 hours each way for 1.5 hours up in Steheiken... crew was great, I struggled to hear the narration on the Upper deck, perhaps because there was a school group up there too, so moved downstairs to the soft seats. One of the bathrooms was out of order, so a line formed for the other. We had calm water, and was a smooth ride. Lots of shade, beautiful views the entire time.

Lake Chelan State Park

Mentioned on
1 list
State park
Nature & Parks
Lake Chelan State Park is a tranquil and well-maintained 127-acre park nestled on the shore of Washington's longest lake. It offers spacious campsites, a boat ramp, and a large dock for visitors to explore and enjoy the crystal clear waters of the lake. The park provides a safe environment where visitors can paddle on the serene waters or simply relax by the shore.
Beautiful! I wanted to think it was overrated but I see why people would drive 3 hours to this lake as opposed to other nearby ones. It's large! Plenty of space for everyone, whether on the water or around the lake, so you can enjoy the serene landscape without having to hear other people's conversations and music. Plenty of parking too. There is a sandy beach but you could also walk to the quieter sides where there are spots under the trees for foldable chairs and canopies. You may have to pay at the booth coming in: $10 for day use or $30 for annual pass (Discover Pass). There is a teeny gift section in the booth, some magnets, thermal flasks, and t-shirts.
Ivy — Google review
Beautiful park with plenty of activities for all ages! There’s a nice playground for kids and a swimming area with options to rent kayaks and jet skis. Campsites are well-maintained, and the bathrooms (with showers) were clean. While most sites don’t offer much privacy, the lake views and stunning sunsets more than make up for it. We even caught fireworks from the lake — such a fun bonus! We stayed at campsite 85 and really enjoyed our time here.
Pooja R — Google review
Such a beautiful, clean lake. The bathroom near our campsite had 4 individual showers and clean bathrooms. Beautiful view of the lake. Be prepared fir lots of boating noise in the summer, and I mean a lot! Campsite had great view of the water and the sunrise.
K M — Google review
End of July it's hot weather. Take a cool clear water swim in the lake, paddleboard, jetski, go boating. Get bags of ice or maybe a 2 scoop ice cream cone at the concession/store there. You can camp almost right on the water, near a big grass field, under a shade tree - and there is also group camping. Free showers and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Kids playground, volleyball, and a hiking trail. I saw deer roam the campground while I watched the beautiful sunrise. This is an excellent place to go camping.
Wildcraft R — Google review
This is a nice park with camping and day use areas. There is a grass and tree covered area with picnic tables. At the lake's edge, there are grass or sand areas to set up your spot. They have an enclosed swimming area. There is a small store to make food and sundry products purchases. The bathroom has showers and are very clean.
Cyndi M — Google review
Overall the campground was decent, but it was very crowded and the sites were packed close together. There’s no grass on the ground—just dirt—so it felt a bit dusty and dirty. On the bright side, the restrooms and showers were available and quite clean, and showers were free. Lake Chelan’s water is crystal clear, perfect for paddle boarding and swimming.
JACKIE W — Google review
Lovely campground! Beautiful Lake! Rented a boat in town and had a few lovely days with the family. Has a swimming area, playground for kids. Only thing I wish it had more of is beach area. A wonderful place to go!
Julie W — Google review
Great park. Beautiful area to walk and swim, the campsites if your tent camping are awesome..the water side ones are mostly hidden away in the tree canopy, chelan is always beautiful tho..there is a small store where u can rent kayaks and stuff like that, some groceries, but they have food and ice cream and coffee. U won't be disappointed

Pybus Public Market

Market
Shopping
Pybus Public Market is a spacious and vibrant marketplace located in Wenatchee, Washington. Spanning the size of a football field, this indoor street market offers an array of local farm goods, artisanal foods, and specialty shops. Visitors can explore fresh produce from nearby farms, as well as butcher shops, cheese vendors, regional wines, and delightful pastries. The market also hosts restaurants and live music performances on Friday evenings.
Nice place to visit with family We tried the pizza with hot honey and the special with beef jerky - both were delicious! 🍕🔥 The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, definitely a cozy spot to enjoy good food together.
Karina P — Google review
The market has a fun atmosphere, but it’s primarily geared toward dining rather than shopping. Had we known that in advance, we would have planned our visit differently. While there are a few booths with local products, the focus is clearly on food stalls. If you’re expecting a broader variety of goods or a traditional market vibe, this may fall short. Still, it could be a nice stop if you’re hungry and in the mood to try different local eats.
Dustin E — Google review
Amazing combination of permanent restaurants and shops mixed in with temporary craft vendors. All shops are small businesses and independent. Whatever you're looking for, fresh produce, cheese, meat & seafood (seasonal), wine, vinegrettes/olive oils, coffee, craft beer... it's here. Definitely worth the look.
Justin H — Google review
Great selection of stores and farmer's market items. Wine tasting was excellent and the wine slushies were the best! We loved sampling the oils and balsamic vinegars, too.🍷🧀
Lisa C — Google review
What a fun market in Wenatchee. Great for families as it’s right on the river and play area. We ate lunch at Huck at Pybus and it was good.
Kim T — Google review
Such a neat place to browse, sadly I wasn't hungry, so so many yummy looking food opportunities!! I'd love to make a special trip to the area to visit again. Make a day trip and shop and eat, you won't regret it! There are little vendors and bigger booths of specialty items and what I saw was reasonably priced. There's a butcher booth (whole shop really) on site too!
Heather S — Google review
This is a great market to go to with good food and wine, and other stuff. Just watch out for the rude yuppies that have no problem plowing into a 92-year-old man as he is being assisted in walking down the main corridor. Regardless of that, I still enjoy going there and it's a great meeting place. Also, don't forget to try Little Red's Espresso located in a silver airstream in the parking lot. Best Latte' in town!
Michael M — Google review
I really enjoyed my too short visit here. So much to look at and fall in love with! A great place to find a unique gift for that hard to please person! The talented artisans here made it so hard to want just one thing! I loved it!

Dams
Our guide, Megan, was truly a highlight of our personal tour here at the dam. I grew up here in Wenatchee in the late 70s/early 80s and remember visiting the museum as a youngster-- to have memories rekindled by seeing the volcanoes and glacier ice mural in its same location as my 9 year old brain remembered is truly extraordinary in this time period. The Discovery Center is a wealth of information, history, art, and a multimedia reflection of something truly extraordinary: a community-owned utility district and hydroelectrical system. Megan kindly and with incredible depth of knowledge took me, my partner, my dad and stepmom around the facility. She shared so much information that was new to me as an adult about how unique the facility is. With a progressive vision implemented in the 1950s with an eye for the long-term, Megan shared how the facility is continuing to evolve and how community-first this utility really is. To return to a place that is a mix of both old and new, the retro (but my living memory!!) and the evolving perspective/learning activities that is especially great for younger kids, is such a heart-expanding experience. Thank you, Megan and all staff we interacted with while visiting on site, June 26th 2025!! My inner 4th and 5th grader was thrilled to be able to try turning that human-powered generator in a box, now at age 55. It's still there, and what a treat to integrate so many positive memories in one place. This is a gem! It's not flashy and flashy wouldn't suit. You can see fish going through the ladders and the whole experience is gloriously analog and magical. Come visit. Not only that, it's a free resource held in trust by the Wenatchee Valley community. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. ❤️‍🔥💚🙏🐠
Kristi L — Google review
What a hidden gem! A delight for all ages. I am awestruck at how impeccable their grounds design is, and how well maintained. They offer so many options (playground and picnic areas outside, plus picturesque views-can't be beat), plus interactive and informative exhibits inside. They even offer some food options. It's wheelchair accessible, also. Best of all, this jewel is free (parking included). They upgraded extensively in the last couple of years. It is our favorite place to stop by, either on, or our way back from Chelan. Congratulations to the whole team on a job well done: planning, and excuting. Friendly staff to boot. Highly recommend.😊
Simona M — Google review
We happened by this visitor center, so educational and well done. What a resource! Meagan gave us a tour and was fantastic, super well informed, friendly, and welcoming. Be lucky and meet Meagan.
Sheryl T — Google review
Way Kool place with lots of hands on displays. 3 floors and you can tour the generator house. This is a good way to learn all about the electrical path, from dam/generator to your home. Free on site parking. No fee area.
Robin S — Google review
Went with high hopes and young kids snd we loved every second! The grounds and playground are beautiful and the discovery center was so well designed perfect for kids and families! My kids loved looking for fish, the animal prints and their poop 🤭 steering the boat, the interactive displays and the clean energy game! The 4 adults that came had fun things to do as well! The staff was so friendly and gave our kids fish necklaces which they all love! Also so grateful for the little cafe/gift shop! Perfect place to stretch your legs and learn in a fun way before going to Leavenworth! We will be making this apart of our yearly family trip to Leavenworth and definitely telling others to make it a stop for them! 10/10!

Fantastic place for discovery and environmental awareness! Loved learning about the history of Chelan PUD & their present efforts to protect adult & juvenile fish species in the Columbia River 🐟🏞️ Admission is free so make the most of it as you explore the interactive displays & exhibits spread out across 4 levels. Take the 30min free tour—it’s enjoyable & educational! The tour guide was super enthusiastic & friendly, making the experience spectacular 🤗

Gorgeous setting. Discovery center offers three stories of interactive and museum quality displays. Kid friendly, clean, bright and attractive displays. Views of the dam and river. Outside grounds are landscaped and include walking paths and playground. It’s all FREE. Absolutely a wonderful experience and the highlight of our day.

Very beautiful place. Lots of hiking all flagstone steps. Small waterfalls to look at. Flowers galore. No wheel chairs. No dogs allowed. I had a great time I got lots of exercise.

My wife found this place. We enjoyed it. I thought it was worth the $8.00 per person. It was a nice short stop on our trip on the Cascade Loop.
Dave M — Google review
Such an amazing experience! We did our wedding here and Samantha Segaline who runs the place, got all the tables and chairs set up beautifully and a dance floor too with microphones and speakers. It took out all the tedious and stressful work on the day of the wedding and it all came with the package. We were able to do photography months before the wedding for engagement photos and then for our wedding three hours before: they were very accommodating for all our needs. The food delivery ran smoothly as they had an accessible spot for food and for other accessibility needs like grandparents. So beautiful, loved it. Would recommend to anyone: very affordable.

It's a wonderful experience. There is a provision for a wedding celebration in this place . We got the chance to see on wedding celebration when we visit this place. There is a sig sag walk paved with rocky stones and several water ponds in between. There are several viewpoints to enjoy the flowing of Chellan River and far away mountains. Entry is restricted by 8$ . Senior citizens, can you the walking sticks provided .And there is a Compas fixed on the walking stick to track the location.

What a gem. $8 admission per person, free parking. Restrooms onsite. Walking sticks available at no charge. Staff was very friendly. Little stone-carved benches are available to relax and sit in along the paths. What a lovely park! 🙂

Went to a beauty wedding there today, Saturday, August 23 2025 for an incredible couple! It was a stunning place! We even saw 5 Big Horn sheep that added to the joy of the day!

This place is magical! Went with two 11yo kids. We enjoyed looking for the hidden gnomes and fairies, exploring all the hidden gem lookout spots, watching the koi in the ponds. Don't go in a hurry and take the time to explore. An absolute magical experience! We went on a whim and now I'll be telling everyone to make sure it's a stop when they are in the area!

Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort

Sprawling winter sports area in a 2,000-acre basin with 4 chair lifts & 36 designated runs.
We tried out Mission ridge today. Absolutely loved it. The green runs are so fun and there’s a great variety. The lift workers are kind and understanding. When we parked a worker came out with a big sled and took all our skis and poles to lift 1. Great service. We’d love to come back again.
Fallon — Google review
This is a great spot for some good skiing and snowboarding. The staff is very friendly and the slopes are well taken care of. Lift 2 was my favorite as it takes you to the top of the mountain where you get some amazing views.
Chris G — Google review
Went December 2024 and was such an awesome experience! ‘Pod’-style ski lift provided much needed wind barrier that day! Inversion that week for weather and the views were spectacular! Lines were short that trip due to cold/freezing temps. Parking lots easy to navigate for large vehicles 😁
Christina C — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous! It somehow has the charm and relaxing atmosphere without too much crowds like most large ski resorts, I can sit down nicely have a great lunch and enjoy the snow after lunch. Highly recommended!
Innsbruck A — Google review
Don’t come here. We like it without the lift lines, without crowded slopes and without terrible parking. If you come here it will be one step closer to the crowded more well known resorts in WA - most of which that have worse snow conditions and the same level of terrain. Please pay to park at Crystal, ski in the rain at Summit West and leave this place alone.
Paul R — Google review
Beautiful mountain. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy 3 mile drive up to the slopes. Great spot for our family to snowboard. Can't wait to go back!
Kyler T — Google review
Great place for beginners, Freedom Pass program exceeded my own expectations. The staff members are amazing, especially the ski school staff. The energy they all give off is contagious, I found myself laughing and joking along with them. By lesson #4 we were all on a first name basis. It's been a great experience and I'm looking forward for next season, thanks Mission Ridge!

The local ski resort of choice. Gorgeous views, great options for food and beverages, fun activities, super friendly and fun staff. An overall warming experience even though you’re in the cold, snowy mountain valley. Oh and clean bathrooms!!! That says A LOT about how this resort cares about the quality of everything they provide their guests.

I stop here every time I come this way. We always get saltwater taffy and usually grab something else for the drive, too. It was super busy, so I parked in a back lot. I've never had to do that before. In spite of the number of people, I was still able to find someone almost instantly when I needed help finding an item. They didn't look at me like I was a Sasquatch at all. They quickly guided me right to the item I wanted. I also spent some time looking through all the antiques. I was looking for items that are pretty unique, so I struck out there, but that's okay. There are a lot of really cool things upstairs.

I LOVE this place!! I try to stop by everytime I pass by on the highway and it's never disappointing. I mostly like going upstairs to look at the antiques but the first floor is very impressive too and offers a lot of fresh fruits, vegetables, other foods, and candies. The salt water taffy is amazingly soft and there are plenty of flavors to choose from. I haven't tried anything from the cafe/ ice cream but I would really like to and I wouldn't doubt it's quality. The upstairs is my favorite and especially the second floor. I love the selection of records, CDs, and the cute beanie babies. I will say some of the items I think are personally overpriced and I could get somewhere for cheaper but overall I wouldn't say anything was super expensive. I found some unique dinosaur figures too and it made me happy!

Love to stop here and get off the freeway. Family gets out the car to stretch legs. Look at all the stuff for sale on the 2nd and 3rd floor. A lot of the stuff always reminds me of my grandma's house and the smell. Fruit seems expensive here. Enjoy some ice-cream before getting back on the freeway. Can always expect to be here for at least an hr. Fruit/ice-cream/restroom .

If you find yourself near Ellensburg with a couple of hours to spare, spend them somewhere else! Once a cherished stop for antique enthusiasts, the Thorp Fruit and Antique Mall, just west of Ellensburg, has plummeted into a disheartening mess of modern kitsch and low-quality trinkets. What used to be a haven for unique, vintage finds has morphed into a cluttered bazaar of mass-produced junk. Half the booths are now stuffed with overpriced Pop! figurines, stacks of cheap stuffed animals fresh off last week's assembly line, and literally thousands of Hot Wheels cars — many available at Walmart or Target for a fraction of the price. There are endless boxes of mostly worthless modern comic books, T-shirts printed so recently the ink is practically still wet, display cases full of crappy, mass-produced pocket knives, a sea of western apparel, and shoddy steampunk-themed items fashioned earlier this week, presumably in China. The store’s standards have utterly collapsed, with booth after booth peddling new, low-value garbage that wouldn’t pass muster at a flea market. For a true antique experience, head to the Yakima Fruit and Antique Store instead. Though smaller, it maintains integrity, offering genuine vintage items without the onslaught of Hot Wheels, comic books, Pop! figurines, or other nonsense. Thorp’s fall from grace is a sad reminder of what happens when quality is abandoned for quantity. Save your time and skip this one.

Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Cascade Mountains, Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is a charming family-owned destination that offers year-round tours and educational experiences. Visitors can enjoy up-close encounters with the majestic reindeer, including a herd of endangered Woodland Caribou. Whether it's during the festive Christmas season or any other time of year, this unique farm provides an enchanting opportunity to connect with Santa's famous crew.
A great experience to learn about farm life and interact with a Reindeer herd. The tour started with chicken feeding, a video about Reindeer, and a safety briefing. The group was separated into the two area, Cupid Corner for young kids and people with special needs, and the main Reindeer enclosure. I selected a branch with leaves to feed a Reindeer and walked into the enclosure. The Reindeer are gentle with people and love to feed on tree branches. I stopped at the food stand, The Blitzen Brew, for an Alaskan Reindeer sausage wrapped in a Norwegian potatoes lefse. You will also find a gift shop in the barn with reindeer merchandise including an ornament made from antlers. Located on Chumstick Hwy in Leavenworth, about a half mile from Front Street. One of most unique experiences to feed Reindeer on a family run farm with a gift shop, a nice food stand, and very friendly hosts. .

Highly recommend anyone visiting Leavenworth to experience the Reindeer Farm. Buy your ticket in advance online for the time slot and day. Holidays will book fast and weekends too. Show up, checkin and get ready for a unique time! You will also be supporting the family owned business. The owner was great and walked us through the educational and safety protocols before going in with the Reindeer herd to feed and pet them. You’ll also get to feed chickens, see camels, bunnies, and meet their friendly barn cats. They have a little food and drink stand where you can try some unique items or familiar ones. They have several picture spots set up and a full gift shoppe on site. Visiting the farm was the highlight of my weekend trip to Leavenworth (along with riding the Alpine coaster in a separate location nearby)!

This may just be our favorite trip memory out of any vacation we've ever taken! What an incredible experience this farm offers. They've left no detail unthought of and I appreciate that it was a multigenerational family business. The gift shop was amazing and even though it was October when we visited, we sure felt like we were in the middle of Christmas! Great photo opportunities. Delicious, authentic food on site. Learned so much and experienced so many new things! Unforgettable time at Leavenworth Reindeer Farm! I don't want to give away too much so go and experience it for yourself!
Katelyn B — Google review
This was probably our favorite thing we did while we were in Leavenworth. Even though we went in October, it still had this really magical feel. We really loved it here! The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable, and it's also a family-owned business. As a city girl, I have little experience with animals, so I found myself initially uncomfortable. However, they made sure I felt welcome and comfortable from the beginning. You can really tell that they take good care of their animals. Despite the many animals on the farm, it remained incredibly neat and clean, which is a real bonus. I'll absolutely return soon. It's a must for anyone visiting Leavenworth or Washington state.
Yesmine K — Google review
We had so much fun! They really take care of these reindeers. It's not at all one of those places where you feel bad about the animals, these guys are very happy and the family is kept together. You really learn a ton about reindeer. There are also adorable cats, turkeys, and chickens.
Natalie B — Google review
Such a great place! So much fun interacting with their reindeer and of course the babies! Hansel & Gretel are just darling! Loved the informational video before going in with those wonderful animals! The camels were such a cool part of the place too!

If you're visiting Leavenworth for the first time, one of the spots you definitely should visit is this reindeer farm! A family business where you can see the love and support that the family has on the animals. A very fun place for people of all ages!! We got to see the cute reindeer and feed them while being able to learn more about them and ask questions about how they are raised. The staff are so friendly and genuinely enjoy being there. So I think it's one of the best spots to visit in Leavenworth!
Brandon L — Google review
Quaint private reindeer farm caring for a large herd of reindeer. It’s is a family run organization and you can tell that they care for these animals deeply. Our reserved time for 6:00 was pushed back to 7:00 so that the reindeer would be more comfortable at cooler temperatures. We talked to multiple of the workers and they were more than happy to tell us about the different reindeers names, personalities, ages, and many other quirks that makes these animals unique. Kid-friendly as well and with the opportunity to feed these majestic creatures. Would recommend to anyone stopping in Leavenworth to experience this.

Waterfront Park in Leavenworth is a peaceful riverside park that offers various recreational activities such as walking and biking trails, play areas, and picnic spots. It's an idyllic destination that features magnificent trees and leaves, which gives it a serene atmosphere. The town of Leavenworth itself is charming with its German-inspired architecture but retains originality to create nostalgia.
Beautiful waterfront park! There are small trails which any age group can access and enjoy the views. There is a playground for kids and beautiful trail for a walk alongside the river with beautiful views. Restrooms are available. Parking lot has decent amount of space.

We visited Waterfront Park during the summer, and it turned out to be a perfect spot for a relaxing and fun afternoon. Just two blocks from the main Leavenworth street, this park feels like a quiet escape from the busy downtown. The park is small but charming, with lots of shaded areas, seating, and clean restrooms. Although we didn’t have time to explore the trail, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. There's a lake within the park, and we saw many people floating down the river — a great way to cool off! There’s also a bridge where people were jumping into the water, which added a fun and lively vibe. If you're visiting Leavenworth in the summer, definitely bring a swimsuit and a floaty. It’s a great activity for both kids and adults — refreshing, fun, and free! Highly recommend stopping by.

Awesome place to tube, hang out by the water and enjoy nature. It’s especially nice about 1-2 hours after sunset in the summer. Parking lot is small but the walk is short. Amazon place for pictures or just to sit and relax.

Excellent mostly flat trails with a few restrooms along the way. A few playgrounds for the kiddos and in the fall, it’s a kaleidoscope of color!! You may even see a family of deer crossing the river.

Beautiful park. The Baird island trail was nice and small.
Haridas A — Google review
This park wasn't what I expected, and I was surprised with how many beaches it has. It would be better with more signs indicating the beaches, since I saw some people swimming at certain points and didn't know how they got in there. The playground looks renovated with interesting equipment and multiple types of swings. Portable toilets were at the entrance, but I found out later there's an actual restroom building. It smelled bad in the restroom, and I wish they left the door open if they could.
Tiffany O — Google review
Waterfront Park is a peaceful spot to step away from the busyness of town and enjoy a slower pace. The playground makes it great for families, and having bathrooms on-site is a thoughtful touch. When we visited, the Sugarloaf Fire gave the park an eerie look in photos, but it was still a beautiful and memorable place to stop

Nestled in a Bavarian-style building with modern touches like an outdoor fire pit, Icicle Brewing Company has been serving up a wide array of expertly crafted beers since 2011. The brewery's location allows visitors to catch a glimpse of the brewing process from almost any seat in the house. What sets their brews apart is that all the ingredients are locally sourced from the Pacific Northwest, including water from nearby Icicle Creek.
One of the few places open late on a Sunday night. Helpful people at the counter to order beers, cider, and food. Only a few ciders available, but possibly the best one I had all week, crisp and flavorful. Tomato soup and turkey sandwich were very good. Pretzel was pretty good. Great atmosphere inside.

I liked their ambience and vibes! Actually I don't drink, the purpose I had to be there was that the drinkers needed a driver to send them back to the hotel. I was thrilled to be there! People came in and out holding various beers, cheered for each other, talked loud and laughed like crazy, I could feel the happiness with them. It was a worry free zone, I think we all needed this moment!

The pretzel and beer we got were very good. I wasn't a fan of the beer cheese, but my husband loved it. They have a nice outside seating area for dogs. Very kind staff.

Love the vibes of this place and the beer. IPA was strong and worth every drop. I love the gondola. It was a great experience. It is a little wobby when you get on it, so don't spill your drink. Great place to hang out and get a good feel of the nice and cold weather of Leavenworth with their heater and fireplaces in the outdoor setting.

We wanted some takeaway beer - something quite specific. Friendly guy behind the bar gave us some tasters. We chatted about beers he liked what we were after - we went away happy. Nice place, nice beer, nice service. Chill vibes even though it was Labor Day and the town was really busy. Enjoying my beer on my road trip.
Joanna W — Google review
Good beers but the food is below average. The grilled cheese had such a funky taste to it - definitely not quality cheese at all. The tomato bisque was nice but too creamy for my taste. The pretzel is honestly the only food that seems worth it here! Beers were nice too.

Hike nearby trails like Icicle Ridge or Colchuck Lake(start as early as 5 am for less crowds ) , float the Wenatchee River, or sip local brews at Icicle Brewing. Families love the reindeer farm and nutcracker museum. Visit during Oktoberfest or the magical Christmas lights for extra charm!

Summetime at Leavenworth is fun too. Soaking in the sun at the Front Street park. Stroll through Front Street for some beer, pretzel, beer, souvenirs and beer (did I mention beer, just kidding). There is a nice gazebo and plenty of seating in the area. There was a local artists exhibition when we visited. Good food is on other streets and not on Front Street. Great trail lots to see and do for pics. We left Wenatchee it was 87 at the trail it was in the mid70,s. Lot of breeze and shade. It’s a thick forest with the water close by Easy hike with an occasional tree across the trail from time to time. A water fountain and a faucet to fill water bottles located at the main bridge. It’s cold well water a bathroom is also there. There’s a gravel road the last few miles, lots of cars there so you don’t need a truck.

What a beautiful trail. Very well maintained. Easy map to follow. We used the all trails app and had no issues following. I’ll definitely be back here. The views are epic. The rushing water is calming. Dog friendly. You can go either direction. It’s a loop which is always nice.

Loved this 4-mile trail — very easy to follow. The temperature was over 90°F, but tks for the plentiful shade. Next time, I’ll bring a towel to put on my shoulders to help cool down. Also, note that the last few miles leading to the trailhead are unpaved and a bit bumpy — be prepared for that.

The Brick Saloon

$$$$affordable
Pub
Operating since 1889, this landmark saloon offers brews, pub grub & live music in cheery surrounds.
If you like Northern Exposure you must come to The Brick. It is so fun to be in Roslyn and see all the sites related to the show. This one and the mural down the street are the most recognizable. On top of the fun of being in the building used for all the exterior shots, the food and service were great. The Reuben is huge as are the burgers. Try the rosemary fries!

I always love coming to the Brick. It’s unique and has a fun vibe. Most of the time the service is good, as is the food! I was surprised when I ordered a large Caesar for $13.99 and it came in a small bowl, but they did add some toasted bread which was a bonus, so I didn’t go home hungry. My sister ordered the burger with a salad which was great! And her salad was larger😆. Great selection of beers and drinks!

We took a detour off I 90 for a late lunch on our travels. Was well worth it. We had the best onion rings we have had in along time. So crispy & plentiful. Ordered their chicken tenders w/ fries ( crispy) & a side of coleslaw. Also ordered their Roslyn salad. It was a romaine salad w/ dried Cherie’s, crisp apple, blue cheese crumble, and cubes grilled chicken. With your choice of dressing. It was delicious savory & sweet and very filling. It was a Tuesday afternoon so not busy but nice atmosphere. The drink menu was interesting. The old bar is like stepping back in time. The wood stove made it cozy. The step up bar is beautiful & still has the spit toon trough .

Good food with great service in a fun environment. I had the French Dip with grilled onions and a Brick dark lager. The sandwich was good, especially the roast beef. The aus jus really didn't enhance the sandwich. The side of coleslaw was tasty especially after a little salt and pepper. Beer was great!
John P — Google review
On our way home, we stopped by for lunch. I guess it was a bad idea. The kitchen is not used to the volume and they were backed up for more than 30 minutes. Im assuming the food is decent and since the saloon was filmed for the show Northern Exposure, its has a great feel. It is what it is when places become touristy but not set up for quick bites. Food in the town area was very good. If you haven’t seen a deer, check my pic. :-)
Paul — Google review
The food was good and tasted great. Service was friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere was historic and exactly what you expect. If you're looking for a quiet place to sit and meet with friends go downstairs but it can still be loud if you're trying to talk. Would look to just hangout there sometime with a live band that seems like a great time. Looking forward to our next visit. Might become a traditional stop on the return trip from Cowboy Cross. We will see.

It's been my dream to have a drink at the Brick Saloon ever since Northern Exposure aired in the 90's. Although the inside did not look like it did in the program, it still had a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Just had dinner here after taking our feral 1.5 yr old trick or treating! First of all, I am an anxious introvert, so since my toddler is in her feral dinosaur stage, I have been avoiding the public. 🙃 We came prepared with Bluey, toys and juice, but sadly this was not enough to entertain our feral fawn. Our server, Lily, came in clutch with the wooden shape puzzle which surprisingly held her attention and kept the bone piercing shrieks to a minimum. The food, as always, was amazing. She heard us discussing my gluten intolerance and she stopped us from ordering a couple dishes that would have had my internals in an uproar (iykyk). She not only made excellent alternative selections (rosemary fries instead of waffle and nachos instead of quesadillas) she told the cooks and made sure the dishes were prepared separately! I’m blown away, because I do my best not to be a “burden” or “problem” so I never mention my intolerances and just do my best to order safe foods and just accept the risk I may get sick. So anyway, all this to say the Brick is amazing, Lily is amazing. Eat there. You won’t regret it.

Swiftwater Cellars

Winery
Food & Drink
Upscale restaurant featuring New American dishes & fine wines, plus a patio with golf course views.
I was treated to a lovely birthday dinner this past weekend at Swiftwater Cellars! We had a reservation for 13-15 guests ahead of time, but unfortunately, given the company policy we were unable to push the tables together so everyone could sit together. That left half of the party (the kids) at a booth separate from us. Not sure if the kids liked it better or not being without the grownups, but as a parent, my preference would’ve been for everyone to sit together. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I appreciate that he let me try two wines before choosing the Vognier for the evening. Absolutely delicious! We also ordered a wide range of food, from cheeseburger’s and fries to pear pizza and chicken parmigiana, and everything was tasty! It also came to our table in a timely manner, which was appreciated given that we were all starving. The dessert options were also superb, and I highly recommend the chocolate mousse cake…yum! The decor was whimsical and fun, especially due to the holiday season. We also liked the rustic touches, and the fact that we saw deer frolic by outside while we were dining definitely added to the ambiance! Overall a great time!

Swiftwater Cellars is a winery inside of Suncadia Resort. It's relatively easy to get to and has lots of parking outside. Inside, it's got a downstairs with lots of tables and a little shop, plus an upstairs for catering and big parties. They have a good menu with pricing being a bit high for the portions, but the taste is phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfectly, the meatballs and grilled cheese with soup appetizers were awesome, and even the chicken and vegetables were done right. The staff are great, super friendly and very helpful. The venue itself is very nice and popular for things like weddings. Call ahead of time to book and if you have a big enough group, so the preset menu because they do it right.

I’ve been going to Swiftwater Cellars since it first opened, and it’s never once disappointed. Whether with friends or family, it’s always my favorite place to bring people for a great meal. It’s the perfect spot for celebrating, catching up, or just enjoying a lovely evening out in Suncadia. A true gem!

I had the absolute joy of photographing Chris and Molly’s wedding at Swiftwater Cellars in Cle Elum, and it was stunning from start to finish. This venue has such a unique charm—it’s tucked into the Cascade Mountains, surrounded by evergreens, rolling hills, and that beautiful winery atmosphere that makes every corner feel special. The mix of indoor and outdoor spaces at Swiftwater Cellars made their day flow seamlessly. The ceremony space framed by the mountains was breathtaking, and later, the reception inside the winery felt elegant, cozy, and perfect for celebrating with all their family and friends. Chris and Molly’s wedding was full of laughter, dancing, and so many heartfelt moments, and the venue was the perfect backdrop to capture it all. If you’re looking for a Cle Elum wedding venue or a Pacific Northwest winery wedding location, I can’t recommend Swiftwater Cellars enough. It’s a venue that’s as beautiful as it is versatile, and it photographs like a dream.

Very clean, also there were lots of ski patrol making me feel better. The skiing part was great, they have many lifts for all levels. Also look at this picture of the what it's like at the top.

On our trip through I90 we took a stop. This was a great place to take a ride up and walk back down. Also they had live music which was a bonus.

Lift pass priced higher than advertised and we made a 2 hour drive. What are you going to do, turn around drive home and go back to work? $130/day pass plus parking good for all day to include multiple locations and the night ski slope. Not bad really, and cheaper than several other ski hills in Washington. Still way cheaper than skiing in Colorado on the i70. Save big by buying your tickets ahead of time and don’t pay full price for parking, as there is a code to put in the online form that reduces parking to five bucks. Shuttle runs between the main ski areas. Terrain park was fun, lots of fun challenging runs at Alpental and the highest lift around, very beautiful at the top, but only black diamonds to get down from chair 2. Food and drink options all around, friendly staff, mostly easy lifts and unloads, rf Id chips are replacing scan lift passes so that speeds up the process.

I finally had a chance to work out my schedule and make visit from Vancouver Canada to Boyne Resort in Snoqualmie. We planned a day trip on February 16th with a couple of friends. It was a Saturday and I expected a very busy lineup but we managed to use the most of the day by getting the lift between 12-5 PM. The price in comparison to the quality of the runs seems to be pretty expensive but having the option to try the other sides of the mountain added a bit of variety to explore more. For us compared to our resorts in Vancouver and Whistler this was a bit less exciting. But never complain about the beauty of this nature and making a fun day. The staff at the restaurant and the chairlift operators very very polite and helpful. The guest service was also professional and helpful.

BEWARE! The (for profit) parking company will still ticket you for having a parking permit and for parking in an un-signed spot that, I suppose, is an EV space, even though there is not a sign for said space, and it's impossible for the charging cord to even reach the space, while every other space that is EV has a sign in front of it. I arrived at my vehicle to find a parking violation for $100 ($100!!!!! Makes Seattle parking violations look like child's play) for parking in an unmarked, but designated? EV space. How would anyone know that. I've been a season pass holder for mutiple years and have parked along the West side of Silver Fir parking lot for years, acknowledging the EV parking huts and marked spaces. I pulled into a space with no sign to the far right of the charging huts. I disputed the violation immediately, with photos (attached). A guest services member agreed that the violation was a mistake and said it would be forgiven. HA HA not so. I disputed with 4 photos (as much as the allot) and my take on the situation. The entire dispute system is broke because once I hit submit the dispute erased all my photos from the dispute page as well as some of my text, and there is no way to edit the dispute. Once you hit send, it's no longer anything you can fix. They got back to me a few hours later stating the reason for the violation was that I did not have a parking permit (I have a parking permit), but then went to say I was in an EV space and not actually charging, which is impossible because the cord would not even reach my vehicle, meaning no one could charge there, in the unsigned space, that clearly is not EV. I re-sent my pictures and pinpointed questions to an email address for the parking company and got a blanket email, most likely AI written, stating their hands are tied, and not answering a single one of my questions. I've since sent 5 more emails with no response. There is not a phone number for the company, there is no human interaction. I called Summit guest services for help, thinking someone will know what to do but just got an email stating Summit has no affiliation with the parking company, and suggested that I pay the fine before it goes to $200 in 2 days. a 100% increase if not paid in 10 days is the policy. Robbery. Greed. Absolutely no help from The Summit, a company I have given thousands of dollars to over the years sine 2006. I have spent lots of hours now trying to get someone to do the right thing, but alas, corporate takeover has ruined all things good, and obviously just wants that healthy bottom line. Shame on you, I will never spend another dollar at The Summit and I will encourage others not to do so. I've read the other 1 star reviews here and agree wholeheartedly with them. One of the reviews for parking actually got a response from the Summit (owner) it states. Well (owner), please do what's right and help with this. And if you want unmarked spaces to be designated spaces (as another parking review sort ticketed for) then put up signs so that your intentions are clear. There is no sign designating the space I parked in as an EV space. The photos here are very clear. I'm shocked that I have to waste my time with this sort of pettiness. To sum this up, spend your money elsewhere, The Summit has tanked.

Great ski resort! I took a snowboard lesson here a few months ago and it was very helpful! It's very beginner friendly because they have 2 carpet lifts on the West area and it's a pretty decent slope even for beginners. They have 4 ski areas but I spent most of my time in Summit West. Beginner lifts are great because there are plenty. It's also the cheapest ski resort I could find while being the nearest from Seattle. Food is expensive just like any other ski resort. Overall a great resort for the price and for new learners!

Amazing time to spend with your family or on your own. Don't even need to ski or snowboard, just come and enjoy the weather and delicious food at the lodge and awesome atmosphere with alot of different cultures and ethnicities. Live concerts on the weekends and lots of different events to explore. Had a great time at delicious 😋 waffle 🧇 cabin, get it with chocolate 🍫 you won't regret. Kids loved playing in the snow and enjoyed warming up by the fire pit!!! All ages are there and everyone is joyful 😊 and happy.

Big Four Ice Caves

Nature & Parks
Hiking area
Well-known gravel & boardwalk path to frozen caves made from melting snow & waterfall runoff.
We had a great time walking this one mile hike. Who knew that you can walk to ice in July. The trail is well paved and I highly recommend it. We did the hike with our corgi and it was a blast. Few things to note. 1. Don’t stop at the picnic spot which comes first, there are no restrooms at the picnic spot, drive ahead to park at the visitor center 2. Restrooms don’t have bolts nor water, but are well maintained and equipped with paper rolls 3. There are no restrooms any where else during the hike 4. The temps in July was hot around 80 degrees, but once you reach ice the temps will be fall down to 50, pleasant experience. 5. About 1000 feet to the end of the tail is not paved, you will be walking on dried river bed filled with granite. 6. The trail is easy but do carry water and a life snack as the sun can drain you 7. Pack an extra pair of clothes if you are adventures and want to enjoy a swim in pristine clear water. I would recommend a swim near the stream just a quarter mile away from the parking lot under the bridge.

Amazing place! Very easy trail — we walked it with a stroller, even with small wheels. If your stroller has big wheels, it will be even better, since small ones can get stuck sometimes. But overall, we easily made it from the very beginning to the viewpoint. My daughter is 3.5 years old, and this was the easiest trail we’ve ever done — she rode in the stroller almost the whole way. The nature is absolutely stunning! A wonderful spot for a family outing and a short walk. It took us only about 20 minutes from the parking lot to the glacier. I will definitely come back here with a model to do a photo shoot.

I came here with my family and there were some in our group as old as 65 years old, any as young as 7 years old and the hike wasn't that bad. Going up had slight inclines but with some paved paths, other wooden paths and some with just gravel, it was very much doable and not too overwhelming. This is a place that you won't forget! It's something you don't get to see often and worth the drive and trek up to the ice cave. 5 stars all the way!

The Big Four Ice Caves in Washington State are one of the most stunning and unique natural attractions in the Pacific Northwest. Located along the Mountain Loop Highway near Granite Falls, this short but scenic hike offers breathtaking views of the Big Four Mountain, alpine meadows, and, of course, the famous ice caves that form every year at its base. The trail is about 2.2 miles round trip, making it accessible for most ages and fitness levels. It’s well-maintained, with a combination of paved paths and gravel sections, gentle elevation gain, and wooden boardwalks over marshy areas. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of cascading waterfalls, wildflowers, and the snow-covered mountain backdrop — it feels straight out of a postcard. Parking is available at the Big Four Ice Caves Trailhead, and you’ll need a Northwest Forest Pass or an America the Beautiful Pass to park there (available online or at nearby ranger stations). There are restrooms and picnic tables near the trailhead, which makes it a nice spot to relax before or after your hike. Once you reach the end, the view of the caves is jaw-dropping. These ice formations are created from avalanche debris melting and refreezing at the base of the mountain. However, it’s extremely important not to enter or climb on the caves — they are very unstable and can collapse without warning. There are warning signs posted everywhere for a reason. Instead, enjoy the view from a safe distance and take photos — the shimmering ice against the rugged cliffs is mesmerizing, especially on sunny days when it glows blue and white. 💡 Tips: Best time to visit is late summer when the trail is clear. Bring water, good shoes, and a camera. Cell service is limited, so download maps in advance. Arrive early — parking fills up quickly on weekends. 📸 All photos and videos in this review were personally captured by me during my visit. Overall, the Big Four Ice Caves Trail is a perfect combination of beauty, accessibility, and adventure. It’s a short hike with a big reward — a true gem of Washington’s natural wonders.

Absolutely lovely walk. Worth the drive. Hubby walks with a cane and was able to manage it. Walk has 3 sections: Boardwalk, Woods, and River Rocks at the very end by the glacier. Great new bridge over the water. Woods portion had gravel on the path so it wasn’t too muddy. We went a couple days ago in the rain, so we appreciated the well maintained path. My kid still managed to slip on some mud, but it’s mostly avoidable. Saw lots of people coming and going. Had to do Quick forest pee and hope no one came! Don’t wait until the end because it’s very open at the glacier portion. We did not go in caves due to warnings of collapses. We did see some calving, just a small piece that fell into the water. It was just spectacular to see. We parked at picnic area, by the old stone chimney. Saw lots is slugs, mushrooms and birds on the walk. Made a game of spotting all the mushrooms with the kids. Very memorable little jaunt. Driving: we drove the Gravel road on the way there and it was about an hour on gravel. Pretty well maintained but we decided to take the paved route back to Concrete. Happy trails!

The Big Four Ice Caves are an astounding natural wonder just under a two-hour drive from Seattle. Even in the middle of summer, you’ll find incredible ice formations that blanket the waterfall, making it a breathtaking sight and a perfect spot for photos, especially in the early morning. The hike is short (less than two miles)and fairly easy, making it accessible for most visitors. Parking does require payment, so it’s a good idea to carry some cash. There are no restrooms near the caves, so plan ahead before you start. For those feeling a bit more adventurous, there’s even a hidden waterfall further up the trail. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience and truly a must-see when visiting Seattle.

The trail is in excellent condition—easy to walk and very enjoyable, with great views along the way. Parking isn’t an issue here, since there are large lots with plenty of space. We went on Labor Day and, even with the holiday crowds, it was still manageable. The highlight of the hike is definitely the ice cave—it’s an amazing sight and well worth the trip!

Wallace Falls State Park

Park
Sprawling park with campsites & trails encompasses lakes, rivers, forest & a 256-ft. waterfall.
Epic hike. Moderate difficulty. If you’re in good shape then it’s easy. Hike starts off slow and steady walk along a beautiful creek with minimal incline then you slowly climb up the hill the multiple viewpoints and waterfall viewpoints. The last two viewpoints have a few switchbacks so that’s when it gets harder. This hike has it all. The journey is beautiful and funny enough the waterfall viewpoints get worse as you go up but still worth going to the top. Truly enjoyed this hike 4/5! Lots of beautiful mossy trees it’s 😍😍😍😍 We arrived on Sunday, 6/8 at 10am. Parking lot was full but enough people were leaving so we got a spot right away. Restrooms SUPER CLEAN. No pee on seats 😍🥲

3 hour drive from Olympia, got there about 9:30 am on a Thursday the parking lot was not that bad. There is a big parking lot(fills up fast) with bathrooms, maps to show where you're at and where you're going. Well maintain trail but there are rocks and roots the whole way so good shoes are a must. I also brought my hiking poles and man I'm glad, there are spots that I just needed a little help. The first view point has a covered picnic area for a good spot to reenergize before going to the next spots, the second view point is the best out of the 3 spots with the top and bottom of the falls taking your breath away,(No that was getting to the second spot🤣) the third spot is more going up, not a bad view though. Be safe, bring water, snacks, good shoes, and hiking poles. Take your trash and enjoy the forest, it's a mildly challenging hike about 5 miles and 1300 feet in elevation.

-Need Discover Pass or pay $10 for the day. -Prioritize seeing Middle Falls, it’s the best waterfall. If you hike to the top, past Upper Falls ~0.5 miles to the view, you can see Seattle in the distance. Second best part of hike. Lower and Upper Falls are nice. Took me 3 1/2 hours round trip. Took 30 minutes of that time to eat and enjoy the view.

There aren’t many waterfalls this close to the city, and this park is truly a PNW gem. With three stunning waterfall viewpoints, scenic creeks, and charming wooden bridges, it’s an epic spot for a day outdoors. The trail is about three miles one way, so it’s a bit of a workout, but there are plenty of benches along the way to rest and take in the beauty around you. Since it’s a state park, you’ll need a Discover Pass or a $10 day-use pass.

One of the best hikes in the PNW 💚 The sunlight shining through the trees and the relaxing sound of flowing water lasts the entire time you are on the trail. Saw lots of families and dogs so definitely beginner friendly to the middle falls!

Just went last week and it was gorgeous! The waterfall had a lot more volume than I was expecting for summer, the trail was moderate, but the hike to the upper fall was quite steep and hard, but also SUPER worth it!! The parking area is quite large but it does get filled up very fast, we got there at 7:30 am so it was almost empty but by 12 there was no space at all.
Saher A — Google review
Super easy to reach the trailhead. First .4 miles is flat, then it reaches up into the forest. Green, shaded, bridges and stream crossings. Gorgeous. There are three separate portions with waterfalls: lower, middle and upper. The last section climbs 600 feet in a h a half mile, so it is steep with lots of switchbacks. Worth it!
Bill C — Google review
I've been going on this hike since I was a little girl and now I get to take my children. The hikes at the lower falls is easy enough for kiddos and always well maintained. Lots of roots and rocks and crags so definitely older people would benefit from using hiking sticks.

Museums
The Northwest Railway Museum, Snoqualmie Depot, is a restored 1890 depot that offers a captivating glimpse into the railway history of the Snoqualmie Valley. It houses an extensive collection of artifacts, locomotives, and equipment at its two locations: the historic depot in town and the Train Shed Exhibit Hall. Visitors can embark on a historic journey on the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad to North Bend and through the picturesque Snoqualmie Valley to Snoqualmie Falls.
This railway museum is a great place to visit, especially for families. They have a small train that kids can play on, and the best part—it’s free! The museum grounds are nice for walking around, with interesting displays and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a fun and educational spot to spend some time outdoors.

We had a beautiful train ride in a rail car restored from 1915. The train had a lift, making it accessible for my 88 year-old grandfather to enjoy for Father’s Day. Our trip was made great by the staff who were beyond kind. Every one of them went out of their way to help ensure our trip was comfortable and informative. Cannot thank Kole, Lee, Will, and Nick enough- highly recommend!!

Loved this experience, but I love love vintage trains. I can see how some may not be as entertained, but it’s really a cool Experience! Staff was great! Very conversational. Ride takes you to the top of Snoqualmie falls and then to North Bend where you get to visit the railroad museum. Overall experience took about an hour ish, and then we enjoyed looking at the artifacts in Snoqualmie once we got off. If you want a good meal afterwards, check out Copperstone across the street.

Love this liko town due to its history and its aged building. Its appearance carries a story with it even as u pass through its tempting to make a stop, and in the night, ooh wow. It’s like a replica of a Bavarian town. Every single inch of a mile here has history. So for history lovers, mind having a break here while on your way up north.
Anthony K — Google review
This is actually a museum in two parts. One downtown (the Depot), with a book store, displays, an engine and multiple types of train car.(free) Then, about a mile away is the museum with displays inside, including engines, more train cars, a caboose, several informational videos and a diorama with a train running through it. More cars and engines outside. You need a ticket for the inside.

A Perfect Day Out at Northwest Railway Museum, Snoqualmie. Visited last week with my family and had such a lovely time! The walk along the historic railway route is absolutely refreshing, with scenic views, vintage engines, and photo-perfect spots at every turn. It’s a peaceful place that feels like a hill station escape calm, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful trees. We explored the charming local shops nearby loved the ice cream parlors, thrift stores, and especially the vintage silver stone jewelry collections. Such unique finds! The whole area feels like a step back in time with a peaceful vibe and so many Instagram-worthy moments. Highly recommend it for a relaxing day with family, great walks, and discovering hidden gems around the station. 🌿🚂🍦✨

Snoqualmie Falls, a renowned 270-foot waterfall in Washington, is set amidst a 2-acre park and features an observation deck and gift shop. The falls are famous for their appearance in the opening credits of Twin Peaks and attract over 1.5 million visitors annually. Surrounded by fragrant pines, the falls cascade into a deep blue pool with a pedestrian footbridge leading to an observation deck and an easy trail to the base.
Short hike with informative placards. Can park at the bottom or the top of the falls. Has a great view easily accessible from the top without hiking. Cafe at the top, restrooms at both ends (lower was closed and had portapotties 8/18/25). Shaded, gravelly, briefly steep. Saw many families and children.

Snoqualmie Casino is a popular destination for those seeking an exciting night out. With its 24/7 opening hours, it offers state-of-the-art slot machines, over 50 gaming tables, live entertainment, and fine dining options. The casino also hosts events in its indoor and outdoor spaces, including a Summer Concert Series with stunning mountain views from the outdoor amphitheater.
We were in Snoqualmie for work and wanted to end the day with something fun. We’d heard great things about this casino, so we stopped by on a Saturday and had an amazing time. The casino has a great variety, and the fine dining restaurant Vista was fantastic. We sat at the bar, enjoyed delicious food, and the cocktails were great too. This is the perfect date night spot! We wanted to stay the night on a whim, but the hotel was fully booked. If you plan to drink, definitely book a room ahead of time. We can’t wait to come back because the rooms and views are supposed to be incredible. A great option in the area besides Snoqualmie Lodge if you’re wanting to explore the area!

The staff is SO friendly and helpful. This facility is spotlessly clean, ash trays on the casino floor are actually taken away after use, and a CLEAN one is put back in its place! The machines are cleaned frequently. The smoke-free section is large and FULL of games. 10 out 10 would definitely recommend!

Stayed here before and sure the rooms are nice, however this review is based solely on a service experience that I just received. I called the casinos guest services line because there isn’t a direct line to the hotel’s front desk. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I asked to be transferred to the front desk. The agent who answers the call says they’re not able to transfer me. I ask if they’d be able to help me check availability for today and also see if there would be any chance at getting an earlier check in; my friend I’m getting the room for has a baby and they didn’t want to come before having a room and area for the mom and baby to relax. The agent tells me this request can only be made in person. For anyone who doesn’t know, Snoqualmie hotel and casino is a destination that takes quite some time to drive to. I ask if I can just please be transferred to someone at the front desk as I have stayed at the hotel multiples already and have had my early check in request granted. They repeatedly tell me it’s not in their policy to let people talk to employees of the hotel. Basically just telling me they can’t help me and I’m unable to speak to anyone else who can. When asking for their name so I could write a comment card, they said their name was Mary. They would not give a last name or badge number because they said they’re also unable to give any of that info out. So whoever Mary is working the guest services desk at 9:30am on 11/7/25, I hope they teach you what actual customer service is. I would give negative stars instead of just one if it were possible.

The resort is new only open a few months, we stayed here as an anniversary get away. Our room was a deluxe king, beautiful to be expected, high end finishes & bedding. The spa & pool was also high end, very nice way to treat yourself. We dined in their steak house & was not disappointed, service, meal, all top tier. Our morning brunch at their cafe' had fresh pastries & a variety of drinks to choose from. We aren't much for gambling & weren't impressed by the casino itself. We look forward to coming back & catching a show & staying at the resort again soon.

Very nice casino and hotel. We also ate at Vista Prime Steaks & Seafood which was delicious. My only complaints about this hotel & casino is the service. The service is beyond slow and in some cases non existent. Nearly 2 hours for dining. 20 minutes for a latte with 1 person working and 10 people in line. Also, we ordered room service. Called 3 different times for silverware which we never received.

Tortoises, turtles, iguanas, crocodiles, African bullfrogs, and tarantulas are among the creatures available for viewing. The staff is friendly and each reptile has personal details displayed. Visitors can also browse through the small gift shop upon entering.
We recently hosted a birthday party at the Reptile Zoo in Monroe, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The kids (and adults) were absolutely fascinated by the huge variety of reptiles — especially the cold snakes and massive crocodiles! 🐍🐊 The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and they made the party feel fun and educational at the same time. The hands-on encounters were a big hit, and the birthday child got special attention, which made it even more memorable.

I have mixed emotions about this place. I loved seeing that a lot of the reptiles were being rehabilitated, and everyone seemed to be pretty healthy. However, my heart was crushed when it came to the crocs - only 2 really had room to swim, the rest could only soak. There was a really good selection though, especially snakes. We didn't pet anything because the tortoises looked tired, but I thought it was a cool thing offered. I hate zoos for keeping animals in cages; I also appreciate them for the inspiration they provide for young children to grow up ethically-minded (maybe even pursuing a career in nature preservation or veterinary care). Regardless of age, they're a great learning resource. We only went because we heard the place was closing, and we had been meaning to go since we moved to Sultan a few years ago, but life kept getting in the way. I'm sorry for the loss to the community, and to the family who runs it, and I hope all the animals that get adopted out get the same or better care than they've been getting already. I think, given the nature of the place, that they did the best they could to care for these animals, and I'm sure it'll be like saying goodbye to a family member for them. Best of luck to you all in your next endeavor!

I very much enjoyed the animals, until the staff was doing a "feeding time" demonstration in one enclosure with two very large reticulated pythons inside. One snake bit the other one when it's strike missed the dead rat being offered! (see last picture posted) It was so scary to watch, and I felt really bad for the poor snake which had to sit there with the other one clamped down on them very HARD and not letting go for like 15 minutes. And the guy working there goes, "not the first time this has happened." That's sad. Why feed them in the enclosure together then? I'm sure that hurts the snake, they have large, sharp backward curving teeth.

This place has sentimental importance to our family. My kids remember the reptile man who visited the schools with animals in tow. It’s a shame that it is closing for good. The animals in kiddie pools and other less than desirable conditions was disappointing.

Fantastic place to see reptiles! Have been coming here for years. Super sad its closing in October. Really special place.

They got some pretty rare mutated animals in here! The feeding demonstrations are also very fun. Great place to take little ones who are into reptiles.

We LOVE the reptile zoo! I have 3 boys under 5 years old and they constantly ask to go back. My friend with two girls under 4 years old also has them constantly talking about it. It’s not a huge place, but it’s a great experience. There are tortoises walking around our back that you can touch and on weekends they get out a snake and alligator to touch. I never have felt unsafe and it’s just a cool time. The owner has always been there when we have gone and is super knowledgeable and friendly.

Very beautiful place I recommend it a lot of variety and if you arrive before three you can enjoy the hour of feeding the animals

Beautiful trails to get you out into nature. Story telling, native walk, kids area, fountain, great markets telling plant and trees information. Great for rock hunters, discord golf, and more.

I recently visited Lake Wilderness Arboretum and was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and beautiful it was. A friend who volunteers there gave me a tour, and it ended up being a great experience. The arboretum is thoughtfully maintained, with a wide variety of plants and trees to enjoy. The walking paths are easy to follow and take you through gardens, forested areas, and open spaces. It is a great place to visit for a lunch break, an hour long walk or an afternoon off. It’s free to visit, never crowded, and has plenty of convenient parking. Everyone I met was kind and welcoming, which added to the overall sense of calm and community. If you're in the Maple Valley area and looking for a quiet spot to unwind in nature, this is well worth a visit.

Beautiful location to hike around and enjoy nature. Very peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few hours exploring. All trails are well-kept and lots of signs explain the path and plants along the trail.

It is a well-groomed and quiet place with many paths and benches for visitors. The arboretum is located near the Lake Wilderness. We were here at the beginning of the year and you could see the mist rising over the water in the morning. Highly recommend to visit and spend a couple of hours in this secluded place.

Beautiful park for a short 20min or so stroll. There were some beautiful spring flowers in bloom and a nature story along one of the walking paths. The story ending was disappointing, we thought the duck and fox were going to be friends! Overall a nice natural gem to get away from the noise of the city.

Beautiful place to go for a walk. There are several trails you can walk on. It is kid friendly, and leashed dogs are allowed. The trees keep it shaded really well. You might want to have some mosquito repellent handy, though.

Lundeen Park, located seven miles from Marysville on Lake Stevens, is a fantastic destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The park offers various amenities such as ample parking, picnic areas with BBQ spots, a snack shop, and kayak rentals. Families can enjoy the playground and clean bathrooms while also booking sheds for birthday parties or setting up canopies in the spacious park. With plenty of benches and picnic spots, visitors can relax and enjoy the playground equipment suitable for all ages.
Nice kid's playground (watch out for hitting your head on the green bars above the blue roto molded bridge to the taller slides). Covered picnic tables and water access to Lake Stevens. Gets crowded on holidays. Hand carry launch of non-motorized watercraft. Small pier. Paddleboard rentals. No motorized watercraft allowed in park boundaries. Great place for flying kites.
Steve F — Google review
Park is well built and spread out, catering to toddlers through older kids with lots of slides and older kids. The park has a large picnic shelter with about a dozen tables available for booking. This park has a swimming lake and dock which clearly marked by a line of buoys, as well as a small launch for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. There’s a small trail near the back of the playground that follows a small stream - great for little adventurists.

07/21/23: this park is a great place for gathering family and friends and enjoying a great time here. The park also has a rental area for paddle boards and kayaks. It also has a kid's playground with tons of picnic areas. I would love to come back soon

A nice park do walk or jog or play with your kids. The beach is beautiful and quiet and it is small. There is plenty of grass space to hang out on with friends and family. There is a Kayak rental place. An excellent place to bring the kids for picnic. Enjoy the scenic nature.

Linden Park is just awesome. It has something for everyone. You can book a shed for birthday parties or simply put a canopy out in the great park and have a blast. Plenty of benches to go around and lot of places otherwise to just lay your picnic mat and have fun with your families. Plenty of parking around the park and they have slides, swings, monkey bars and much more in the playground for all ages. To top it off, they have a fun boardwalk and access to water. The water is not shallow and you can swim or splash around, whatever you like but it’s definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Fantastic park! One of our favorites. The city does an amazing job with upkeep. Love to launch my kayak from this park. Kids love the swimming area. On busy days parking can be an issue but you can park on the main road and walk a little(it wont hurt you).

Marymoor Park, located in Redmond, is a sprawling 684-acre park offering a variety of activities for visitors. It features an expansive off-leash dog area, a climbing wall, soccer fields, and hosts concerts. The park's picturesque landscapes and the nearby Sammamish River Trail provide ample opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to engage in hiking, biking, and exploration. Additionally, the park is known for its diverse culinary scene with numerous restaurants offering international cuisines.
This is one of my favorite parks. There are to walk along the river, and if you keep going all the way to the end, it goes to a smaller pathway further up the river. This area is limited to dogs on leashes. The rest of the walking area is available for dogs off leash Marymoor a favorite for dog lovers, especially on weekends, with large areas for dog runs, several spots for dogs can get down to swim in the water, and areas for playing fetch. I especially like spring, when the herons are nesting. Today in early May, I counted at least 34 nests in the cottonwoods. Several times I have discovered babies who have fallen from the nest, wandering beneath the high nest above, where frantic parents are chattering wildly. It's a fun place for bird watchers. Parking costs only a dollar, and can be paid at the parking entrance at a little kiosk. A wonderful, safe place to walk on your own.

Five stars for the kind of night that stays with you. We came for the Slightly Stoopid show and left feeling like we’d stepped into a dream. Marymoor’s outdoor concert space is magic… trees lit up like stained glass, sound that carries through the open air, and just enough space to dance without losing your people. The park itself is beautifully maintained with tons of open green space, shade, and plenty of spots to lay out a blanket before the music starts. If you’re coming for a show, arrive early. Parking fills fast (expect to pay), but it’s well organized and close enough to walk comfortably. Food trucks were great… we found one quoting Isaiah and serving Filipino food, which honestly felt right for the vibe of the night. Marymoor isn’t just about concerts though. It’s one of the most dog-friendly parks I’ve been to… huge off-leash areas, trails, and respectful dog owners. Restrooms are clean, and there are picnic areas and playgrounds that actually feel integrated into the park, not plopped down as an afterthought. Whether you’re here to catch a show, walk the pup, or just wander under the trees, Marymoor delivers. Always has. Always will.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Marymoor Park is one of our favorite places to visit, and it’s a great spot for long walks with our dog. The off-leash dog park is spacious and well-maintained, perfect for letting your furry friend run free. There are plenty of walking and cycling trails, lots of benches to relax, and open grounds where people play games or just hang out. One unique feature I love is the small foot reflexology rock path, it’s such a nice touch for anyone who enjoys natural wellness experiences. Whether you’re here for exercise, a concert, or just to unwind in nature, Marymoor has something for everyone. Highly recommend.

Great park!! I’ve gone here multiple times for concerts and I love this venue! It feels very open and it’s managed well. The stage is in a good location and bathrooms and food vendors are easy to access. Parking they get you in smoothly as well. As a park it’s wonderful too! Very open and lots to do!
Nicole D — Google review
Went to a concert here - wonderful venue. Organized, clean. Indoor bathrooms with like 3 stalls I think, then they also had a TON of port-o-potties outside that were VERY clean. Several handicap ones too that were really big and roomy. Grass was nice, lots of place for chairs for GA. Great food vendors too and parking was a breeze. They direct you into the actual spot to park in and we got $5 off parking since we paid when we bought the concert tix so we only paid $15 for parking instead of $20. No bag policy but cannot bring drinks. Can bring food and empty reusable water bottles.
Jessica R — Google review
It’s a club venue for a concert. Everyone around us were very nice people too. I think the security could do a better job. We followed the instruction provided by the cover and the venue, but c there was another later of “who knows” and sent us back to the car to leave our tote bag because it had more than one zipper? I wasn’t able to move very well at this point due to c surgery and was an extra incidence for my family. Once inside the venue things were a rocking good time again.

Favorite park to walk in during the summertime. Offers a peaceful environment and beautiful paths to walk along. I like to take my dog here but sometimes owners let their dogs off-leash in all areas despite there being an entire sector dedicated to being an off-leash dog park.

Marymoor Park is just amazing and does it seem used as much as other parks which is fine for us because we rode bikes we watched bike races on the giant bike track, played pickle ball and a ton of other activities on the day that we were there. I highly recommend checking their schedule of events and activities then exploring the park. Well worth a days adventures.

Excellent adventure. Everyone is welcoming. We loved every minute of our tour. The owners are amazing and they treat the visitors with kindness. If you listen to the rules and follow them, you will have the best experience. Bring hand sanitizer and watch your step. Loved it.

Visited on Friday. It's a small but nice farm. Our tour was about 20 people, lasted about 45 minutes which was just right. The animals were engaging, seemed happy, and of course, great posers for photos! Do not attend if you think this will be a large, go anywhere you want facility. There isn't a large staff so it's important to follow the rules and respect that these are still animals. Wear shoes that can get dirty (we brought a change), jackets if the weather will be cool/rainy, and things that can get dirty, especially if you plan to pet the animals. The staff was nice, answered questions, and clearly love their animals.

What an incredible experience going to the Kangaroo Farm! The Farm is family run, and their pride in the place is evident. They offer guided tours only, lasting about 40 minutes with ample opportunities to interact with the animals. We were able to feed wallabies, kangaroos, goats, llamas and donkeys. There were also lemurs, peacocks, chickens and more! Each animal stop came with fun facts, stories and even a trivia round. Fun for even adults looking for something new! Definitely check the farm out, Thursday to Sunday, and enjoy wildlife not usually seen in the PNW!

It was a beautiful experience. There are kangaroos, goats, mini donkeys, one mini goat, alpacas and one llama. Also plenty of free roaming chicken and peacocks. We get to go in the areas each animal is kept in and pet and feed them. The animals are pretty well kept. This place offers guided tours every few hours. Do check the website for time and days because they are not open everyday. Will definitely recommend if someone is in town.

The farm is great, with reasonably level ground. A person in a small manual wheelchair can navigate the property ok. There are tree roots to keep an eye. The animals are fun and most you can pet. There is an older man who tells you all you want to know. If you are a caregiver you get in free. You just have to pay for the your special needs person that is with you. There are specific times for tours so call a ahead!!! There is one kangaroo who loves to be spoiled with pets, Raymond. He may not want to let you go. He attached himself to my leg.

Amazing experience with the kids, the best part being able to hang out and feed the kangaroos.. they have emu as well and a family of cute goats. Peacocks just hang around casually and are friendly..the niece gave a great tour and made it fun. You can pet the donkeys as well as the alpacas and even get a kiss

Where else can you walk with a wallaby and hop along next to a kangaroo! A wonderful walk through to see all the creatures they have to offer and even a kiss goodbye (if you dare :-) ). The tour guides are a hoot, a must see if you’re here in the area!

Bellevue Botanical Garden is a sprawling 53-acre oasis in Bellevue, Washington, featuring cultivated gardens, natural wetlands, and preserved woodlands. Managed by various organizations from the Seattle Metropolitan Area, it welcomes over 400,000 visitors annually. The garden offers themed gardens and tranquil woodlands for residents and tourists to enjoy. Visitors can explore distinct garden areas with unique appeals and partake in community celebrations and outdoor art exhibits.
A beautiful experience. I had only been her during the winter lighting festivities so it was a great pleasure to see the gardens at their peak of eye candy beauty. The color and plantings are stunning. We ventured over to see and walk over the suspension bridge as well. We were there just over 1.5 hr but many can spend much longer. All for free so visit often. Parking was a premium. Had to park down the street.
Dennis J — Google review
The Bellevue Botanical Garden is a beautiful park filled with great plants and flowers. I particularly enjoyed the serene Japanese Garden, with its simple wooden structures. Even though there's a parking lot in the middle of the park, I opted to take the bus, which worked out perfectly. It was easy to get there after a stop at nearby supermarkets like Target and Trader Joe's. One of the best things about this park is its location. It's right next to downtown Bellevue, so you can easily walk to Bellevue Square to do some shopping after a relaxing time in the garden. The garden is quite large, and I didn't get a chance to see the entire east side. I only made it as far as the central parking lot before I decided to head back. There are many beautiful flowers and small, traditional buildings scattered throughout the park. The trails are well-marked, so you won't get lost. I especially recommend the Yao Garden, a small, tranquil space with a pond, and the maple leaf area, which would be stunning with red leaves in the autumn.
Nan L — Google review
Visiting the Bellevue Botanical Garden felt like stepping into a hidden pocket of peace in the middle of the weekend rush. The best part? It’s completely free to enter. Parking can be a bit tricky—I went on a weekend and felt lucky snagging a very tight spot—but once you’re inside, it’s worth it. At noon, they offer free guided tours where volunteers walk you through the paths and share stories about the garden’s plants and history. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the sound of a waterfall feature, setting the tone for the calmness ahead. Maps and brochures are available at the entrance, which makes it easy to wander without getting lost. Every corner has something blooming, but the showstopper for me was a giant red hibiscus—so large I had to stop and just take it in. Families strolled by with kids, enjoying the open space and time together, while others found quiet spots to reflect or take photos. For me, it was more than just looking at flowers; it was a place to slow down, think, and appreciate the little meaningful things life has to offer. I haven’t seen all of the garden yet, so I’ll definitely be back to explore more.
Thu L — Google review
Such a beautiful and peaceful escape right in the heart of Bellevue! The gardens are perfectly maintained with vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and lovely walking trails. It’s a great place to unwind, take photos, or enjoy a quiet stroll surrounded by nature. The suspension bridge and seasonal blooms are must-sees! Free entry and parking make it even better. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone needing a nature break. 🌿🌸

Visited back in May of 2025 while waiting for our hotel room to open up. This is a fabulous place to spend some quality time if you like nature and plants and just being outdoors. We got there in the earlier morning hours as we wanted to be able to park, because I hear that parking can be tight during peak hours. The stroll around the garden was amazing and the place was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, our feet were getting tired so we turned back, otherwise, I could have stayed here for hours and hours. Free parking, donation at the door. Spectacular place! Will totally return in the future. Very nice grounds people and staff as well.

The parking lot is conveniently located right next to the entrance, making it easy to visit. During our time of waiting we had the opportunity to sit and watch as instructors trained new people become an instructors how to help people learn to do this amazing Adventure after talking to one of the guys that was instructor for a brief moment towards the end he went through the training process that they go through it is a very lengthy one they go through with the people they train to become instructors while I was watching the training procedures that go through the instructor that was going to be working with my uncle and my son had coming over and took both of them over to the area to get him jumpsuits and safety gear and go through some of the things with them before starting their Adventure of indoor skydiving so shortly before they went ahead and had their turn of trying to the skydiving out indoors I watched one the instructors inside the area where they do the indoor skydiving doing tricks and playing around inside the wind tunnel it was amazing to watch what they could do inside the tunnel and how fun it looked so finally it became time for my uncle and my son to go ahead and go out one at a time with the instructor to start trying this adventure out the instructor went through a few more instructions with each of them before going into the tunnel he helped them enter the tunnel and kind of balance them and tried to show them how to keep their arms and hands to get the procedure started my uncle did very good at getting things going and seemed happy about how the procedure was going on the instructor was very patient and very good add explaining what they needed to do and how next up was my son my son is special needs he has some learning disabilities he has a touch of autism and also ADHD along with a few other things I was very impressed with the patience the instructor had and the politeness I'm working with my son to making an experience a very enjoyable one my son however did not do very well because his medication for finally coming off of him when we started to do the procedure so is pretension spam was a little bit not there I'd recommend if you have a special need kids that takes medications for being able to pay attention easier to make sure you go within the time period their medications are fully activated I am not saying by any means that this is not a good thing for any special needs kid to go do I'm just saying for my son the medications would have helped them to focus to be able to pay closer attention to the instructor why I became really challenging for the instructor the instructor was polite he was very outgoing with my son and my son had a very amazing time there still at the end of the adventure my son had received a certificate showing he went skydiving there and also they gave him a ticket so he can come back some other time since his first visit did not go well not because of them because of just my son's medication wearing off so let's talk about packages they have several different packages for groups and individuals they have also taken out things up that they take pictures and videos of the experience to you can pay for and will download them to your email I would like to type more but I ran out of room for typing their customer service is beyond excellent I would recommend this to anyone to try I think they would really enjoy it and

We had a bad experience at iFly. My daughter got very scared, and the whole activity felt extremely rushed and much shorter than we expected. Even though the staff was okay and followed their routine, the process moved so quickly that my daughter never had a chance to feel comfortable or confident before going in. For the price, the actual flying time is very limited, and the preparation feels more like a fast walkthrough than a supportive introduction—especially for younger kids. It may work for children who are naturally confident, but if your child is sensitive or easily scared, this might not be the best choice. Overall, it wasn’t a positive experience for us, and we left feeling disappointed.

This post is dedicated to our incredible instructor Jordan. A bucket list item for my husband is to skydive, so I decided to get him an IFLY to test it out—I however am afraid of heights. We went together and had such a positive experience. He was sooo happy and I conquered my fear. Our instructor Jordan was so kind, personable, informative and he slowed down when I burst into tears and got me to relax enough to fly high. I highly recommend this experience!

Kubota Garden is a 20-acre Japanese-style garden located in Seattle, Washington. It has been operated as a city park since 1987 and showcases the vision and dedication of Fujitaro Kubota, who began building it in 1927. The garden features a variety of landscapes including hills, valleys, streams, waterfalls, ponds, and rock outcroppings. With an extensive collection of plants and meticulous landscaping, the garden offers visitors a serene and harmonious experience.
This botanical garden is amazingly large, given its urban setting. Tastefully laid out and wonderfully serene. The water features and plants are a draw enough, but my favorite aspect of the garden is the incredible maze of trails throughout the entire space. This is the sort of place that kids and kids-at-heart will relish. Around every corner is a slightly hidden path up and down through the trees, interconnecting around large bushes and over the water. This is a gem of a place for sure, and it's free to access. There is a small parking lot at the entrance.

Loved this place, found it very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. This place is insanely beautiful and massive. It just keeps going and going. Thought we'd be able to see it all but ran out of time, maybe next time. It's a good waking place for all ages and tons to see and take in. Kids will probably like the fish they have there in the ponds. There are tons of cool bridges to cross over and paths that feel like you're in a whole other world. Truly is a work of art, and I'm thankful that this place is here. Grate place for portrait photos or nature photos. Loved being able to walk and explore at no cost. Cool that it doesn't cost any money.

Worth a visit! Though I have seen many review that some people got their car window broken in board day light with no CCTV around so please beware. Do not left your valuable things or anythings in the car.

Such a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Hard to believe this is a free (donations encouraged) City run park, bigger and with more trails than even the Japanese Garden within the Washington Park Arboretum. While there aren't too many flowers blooming in the fall, the changing leaves make for spectacular vista. So many ponds and bridges and little creek crossings make this place feel like your own personal hidden garden. Take some snacks and find one of the many picnic spots to relax for awhile. Highly recommend visiting!

The garden is stunning and beautiful. It's so much bigger than the Japanese garden in the Arboretum in Seattle and very well designed. The fall colors were in full show today and we were very glad we went. Even managed to get a nice shot of the iconic Japanese maple. Parking was slightly challenging but patience helped and by the time we left around 1:30 pm a lot more slots had opened up. Definitely worth a visit and please take the time to donate to ensure the organization can keep the garden accessible to the public.

It's a lovely park. If I lived closer, I'd visit more often. Not too big, but feels both spacious and intimate. So many beautiful areas to appreciate and photograph.

If I were a local here, I would definitely come every weekend. There’s so much to do, and the walks surrounded by greenery and fresh air are amazing. I can’t even imagine how beautiful it must be in the springtime.

Kubota Garden is a free, hidden gem in the middle of southern Seattle. Even in the rain it was beautiful and the guided tour was informative and interesting. Would highly recommend during any season as the docents said we should come back to see it at other times of the year, even in the winter. There was also plenty of parking.

Amazing museum! A huge variety of aircraft and space exhibits, from historic warplanes to Air Force One, the Concorde, and even the Space Shuttle trainer. They even have the world’s very first Boeing 747 on display! The place is well-organized, spacious, and truly a must-visit for anyone who loves aviation or just wants a unique experience. Highly recommend! ✈️

Simply amazing and a not to be missed museum if you are around Seattle area. This is a true treat for anyone with a slight interest in aviation. The museum has so much to offer and if you really want to get the most out of your visit then please do block at least 4 hours to visit the entire place. The museum has a huge free parking lot which is super convenient. The tickets can be purchased based online or at site. There are four major sections where you can see and experience different air crafts. The best is the one across the road where you can actually walk in to larger planes such as the Concord, older Air Force one, and the Jumbo 747s. There are other sections where you can see the first Boeing jets, older and existing fighter jets, visit the control tower. There is red barn area where the history of the Boeing factory is displayed.also they have a few dedicated areas for space program and associated shuttles developed by Boeing. There is a section for the world war era planes and a lot of history depicted. There is a gift shop and restaurant as well. Highly recommend a visit to this

Great collection of (historical) planes, and all kind of info from the (history) of flight and space travel up the artistic Mig21-project. Uniquely located besides Boeing Airfield and Inclusive the Pavilion hangar several ( big); planes with several of them accesable. You actually should stay more than a day.

This is a must see in Seattle. Tons of exhibits, cool full motion flight simulators, and an amazing gift shop. Pros: Tons of aircraft from all over the world. Contains some insane collections. You are able to enter most planes, like the first 747, the Concorde, a US Air 737-200, Air Force one, and a Boeing 787-8. Flight simulators are very fun as they are full motion. Gift shop has an incredible selection of model planes and other items. Guided tours are available to you for no cost. Cafe food is amazing, with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Parking lot is great for planespotting at KBFI. Cons: Some planes are inaccessible, which is rather disappointing. I was hoping to be able to see the interior of the United 727 and the NASA 737-100. Unfortunately, the upper deck of the 747 is also closed, which is a small disappointment. Flight simulator is understaffed so it takes a while to enter. Also, for the museum being all about Boeing, there were no airliner simulators, which I found disappointing. The museum is geared more towards the public fascination with fighter jets and tends to forget about the airliners. (Not to say there weren’t any, there were plenty). Not the museum’s fault, but it is a shame that you cannot see the Boeing test aircraft from the ground. Definitely recommend visiting.

The collection is excellent and very well documented. The obvious star of the show is across the bridge at the outdoor displays! The walk through aircraft are well set up, and the docents were knowledgeable and polite. It's an awesome experience to physically be in something like the concord or an old air force one. Definitely worth the ticket price and parking was easy.

It's a place worth visiting, especially if you are an aviation fan, you will feel very magical. Seeing your favorite plane appear in front of you, you will feel very emotional. You will feel that time flies in it. Whether you bring your family or friends, it is worth coming here. Highly recommended.😍😁

The Museum of Flight in Seattle is a fantastic destination for aviation enthusiasts, but it urgently needs more Mandarin Chinese audio guides and on-site interpretations. Our group of 10 Chinese visitors recently explored the museum and were disappointed to find a lack of adequate Mandarin services. Given the growing number of Chinese tourists and local Chinese residents interested in aviation history, providing comprehensive Mandarin explanations is not only necessary but also crucial to enhancing the visiting experience for Chinese-speaking guests. We sincerely hope the museum can address this gap to make its amazing collections and exhibits more accessible to the Chinese community.

This museum has everything when it comes to flying/airplanes. Lots to see! The collection of aircraft was impressive from historic warplanes to modern jets, each exhibit was well-maintained and had informative displays. I especially enjoyed the interactive sections and flight simulators, which added a fun hands-on experience. Definitely a worthy experience!
