Fantastic wine, friendly staff, and yummy cheese plate. A shining gem in Washington Wine Country!
Sharla L — Google review
14 Hands has consistently delivered high quality, excellent value WA red wine blends for many years. The 2019 Juicy Red is another great example. Syrah based, it serves up complex, well balanced blueberry, dark cherry, black current, mocha and spices. We enjoyed ours during a delicious roast beef dinner. Still youthful for about an hour, it smoothed out nicely for sipping after dinner.
Paul — Google review
This place is amazing! I read a comment that said the wines are totally different than what is in the store and that is 100percent true. Great wines at a great price. The white cabernet is divine and the charcuterie board has the best cheese I've had in years.
Jennifer V — Google review
We continue to enjoy going to 14 Hands each time we visit our family in the Tri-Cities so that we may select a few more bottles to bring back home to Napa where we live— we especially love their Cabernet Sauvignon! What we like is that 14 Hands offers a good selection of reasonably priced wines. We also really enjoy the wine tasting experience because 14 Hands has a very nice tasting room, a pleasant and knowledgeable staff, and a large and welcoming patio area— we recommend ordering the cheese plate, which we have found to nicely complement our wine tastings!
Nathalie M — Google review
A beautiful winery serving one of our favourite Chardonnay’s!! Just a quick first stop on a whirlwind three week road trip, we couldn’t ask for more! Grabbed a few bottles to go for our evening “night cap” in the next town/state!! Thank you 14 Hands for making such tasty product!!
Gordon M — Google review
Went here for a wine tasting and they were so awesome and so nice that we ended up joining their wine club which has no membership fee. As a result our complete wine tasting was free and the bottle the prices of the bottles of wine were greatly reduced. It's a very nice wine tasting room with a big large outdoor area that wraps all the way around. Besides the tasting room in large outdoor patio area, they have some interesting vintage barnwood displays, an art gallery, and a little store. Employee Cassandra took great care of us and told us so much history of the winery and their different grapes and vintages. We had such a fun time, highly recommend.
Lisa M — Google review
Our highlight of our winery visits in Prosser was the warm welcome we got from Casandra and Veronica at the Best Western Express and 14 Hands winery. They represent the best of the company!
Carole H — Google review
We stopped by this lovely tasting room while on a road trip in July 2022, as a respite from driving in the 100°+ heat. It was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere of the tasting room is very nice, our tasting guide was wonderful and we enjoyed some unique reserve wines that the winery does not distribute very widely in liquor stores. So, of course, we ended up buying a few bottles. Highly recommended!
David L — Google review
Great spot! - & friendly staff... Chelsee was very helpful and we enjoyed her knowledge and sense of humor. Highly recommended!
Kevin L — Google review
First time at a tasting room in Eastern Washington. This place was not crowded for a Sunday, but we were not their during the busy season. Learned about their process and how they get their wine. Had some nice reserves while there.

Lake Wenatchee State Park

Mentioned on

State park
Nature & Parks
Lake Wenatchee State Park is a picturesque location where a river and lake meet, surrounded by forests that offer opportunities for camping, hiking, horseback riding and water sports. The park boasts stunning views of Dirty Face Peak and has well-maintained camp sites with clear lake water. Visitors can explore many fun trails and streams in the area. Even in March weather, the lake is breathtakingly beautiful.
Book camp site 10 months out hoping to catch sockeye salmon. Missed it by a week, but had a good time on the lake fishing. Been over 40 years since I slept in a tent, but wasn’t an issue for me at all. Temps in the mid 50’s at night and upper 70’s durning the day. Stayed a week and no rain which my fishing buddies said was rare. Plenty of trails to walk on. Couple of beach areas with paddle board and kayak rentals at the other side of the river.
Jim L — Google review
Went camping with my husband and two dogs here for the first time. This is the lake that faced my fears. I finally went out on a kayak with my husband! Best choice ever. We will be back! Great camping for children! This camp will keep your kids busy all day!
Marisa L — Google review
Lovely campground overall, but many of the sites are very close together. Beach can be very windy, and the boat rental place shuts down if it gets too windy, which can be a bummer. Also, for those hoping to float the river, they don't allow rental boats/SUPs from the place on the beach to float the river. We had to go out to town to find a different rental place. Bathrooms were maintained well, air conditioned partially during the day also, which was a nice touch. All that said, we enjoyed our time there, and sunsets on the beach are stunning.
Mark M — Google review
One of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen. The trails around the park were clearly marked and very scenic. I would love to spend more time here.
Mark P — Google review
Unfortunately due to some car issues we didn’t get to spend as much time at the lake as we wanted to. But we did make it up in the late afternoon and I could tell instantly that this would be a wonderful area to have a picnic at. We only visited the beach area but there were plenty of picnic benches both on the beach and in the wooded areas. The view across the lake was majestic and the bathroom facilities were clean and stocked. Bonus points for having a wheelchair mat down to the water making this mobility challenge friendly
Dyanne G — Google review
Absolutely stunning views! Great place for a stroll outdoors after stopping by Leavenworth. Ample parking space, a boat launch area, warming cabin, campground, playground, and plenty of tables for picnicking.
Julia P — Google review
A beautiful place to enjoy fall colors, walk around the water, enjoy the glacier view. It had a very good camping site.
Michael L — Google review
Great spot to relax and see the sunset. It is quite a drive but the views are worth it. Theres a small mini “mini mini” mart with some supplies available. But they sell primarily ice cream and water sport accessories. Theres also a separate business that rents kayaks, canoes and waterboards if you’re into that. Life jackets required. Camping spots are based on reservations. Nice pre-made tent site are decent. Do be wary of the 1-way road that goes thru the entire campsite. One wrong turn and you’ll spend 10 mins to try to find a way out. Otherwise, highly suggest.

Great trail lots to see and do for pics. We left Wenatchee it was 87 at the trail it was in the mid70,s. Lot of breeze and shade. It’s a thick forest with the water close by Easy hike with an occasional tree across the trail from time to time. A water fountain and a faucet to fill water bottles located at the main bridge. It’s cold well water a bathroom is also there. There’s a gravel road the last few miles, lots of cars there so you don’t need a truck.
David C — Google review
What a beautiful trail. Very well maintained. Easy map to follow. We used the all trails app and had no issues following. I’ll definitely be back here. The views are epic. The rushing water is calming. Dog friendly. You can go either direction. It’s a loop which is always nice.
Bobby W — Google review
Loved this 4-mile trail — very easy to follow. The temperature was over 90°F, but tks for the plentiful shade. Next time, I’ll bring a towel to put on my shoulders to help cool down. Also, note that the last few miles leading to the trailhead are unpaved and a bit bumpy — be prepared for that.
ChangYun L — Google review
Great loop around a scenic river gorge. Not too long and easy enough to traverse. Found a nice little spot at the end of the loop where you head back with picnic tables near a rapids that was a great spot to eat. Had a great day to hike.

Beautiful walking trail. You can make it harder by taking the trail, as well as the loop. Dog friendly, but narrow path so make sure your dog is people and other dog friendly. Lots of great views!
Robin F — Google review
Such a great hike. In September, very uncrowded and easy to make the loop. The Icicle Creek is gorgeous and clear.

Lake Chelan State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Lake Chelan State Park is a tranquil and well-maintained 127-acre park nestled on the shore of Washington's longest lake. It offers spacious campsites, a boat ramp, and a large dock for visitors to explore and enjoy the crystal clear waters of the lake. The park provides a safe environment where visitors can paddle on the serene waters or simply relax by the shore.
Beautiful! I wanted to think it was overrated but I see why people would drive 3 hours to this lake as opposed to other nearby ones. It's large! Plenty of space for everyone, whether on the water or around the lake, so you can enjoy the serene landscape without having to hear other people's conversations and music. Plenty of parking too. There is a sandy beach but you could also walk to the quieter sides where there are spots under the trees for foldable chairs and canopies. You may have to pay at the booth coming in: $10 for day use or $30 for annual pass (Discover Pass). There is a teeny gift section in the booth, some magnets, thermal flasks, and t-shirts.
Ivy — Google review
Beautiful park with plenty of activities for all ages! There’s a nice playground for kids and a swimming area with options to rent kayaks and jet skis. Campsites are well-maintained, and the bathrooms (with showers) were clean. While most sites don’t offer much privacy, the lake views and stunning sunsets more than make up for it. We even caught fireworks from the lake — such a fun bonus! We stayed at campsite 85 and really enjoyed our time here.
Pooja R — Google review
Such a beautiful, clean lake. The bathroom near our campsite had 4 individual showers and clean bathrooms. Beautiful view of the lake. Be prepared fir lots of boating noise in the summer, and I mean a lot! Campsite had great view of the water and the sunrise.
K M — Google review
End of July it's hot weather. Take a cool clear water swim in the lake, paddleboard, jetski, go boating. Get bags of ice or maybe a 2 scoop ice cream cone at the concession/store there. You can camp almost right on the water, near a big grass field, under a shade tree - and there is also group camping. Free showers and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Kids playground, volleyball, and a hiking trail. I saw deer roam the campground while I watched the beautiful sunrise. This is an excellent place to go camping.
Wildcraft R — Google review
This is a nice park with camping and day use areas. There is a grass and tree covered area with picnic tables. At the lake's edge, there are grass or sand areas to set up your spot. They have an enclosed swimming area. There is a small store to make food and sundry products purchases. The bathroom has showers and are very clean.
Cyndi M — Google review
Overall the campground was decent, but it was very crowded and the sites were packed close together. There’s no grass on the ground—just dirt—so it felt a bit dusty and dirty. On the bright side, the restrooms and showers were available and quite clean, and showers were free. Lake Chelan’s water is crystal clear, perfect for paddle boarding and swimming.
JACKIE W — Google review
Lovely campground! Beautiful Lake! Rented a boat in town and had a few lovely days with the family. Has a swimming area, playground for kids. Only thing I wish it had more of is beach area. A wonderful place to go!
Julie W — Google review
Great park. Beautiful area to walk and swim, the campsites if your tent camping are awesome..the water side ones are mostly hidden away in the tree canopy, chelan is always beautiful tho..there is a small store where u can rent kayaks and stuff like that, some groceries, but they have food and ice cream and coffee. U won't be disappointed

Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards

Winery
Food & Drink
Vineyard
Wineries & Vineyards
I think this is my favorite winery in this area. It is small, but it has a cozy and very nice "home" feeling. The bartender/server will come to greet you and talk about the wines and stories of the place. The wine we had in the tasting room was very tasty, not spicy or smoky but very smooth. We loved it a lot and ended up buying a couple of bottles. It is also pet friendly. My pups got a lot of pets and love from the guests there. Will definitely visit again when we visit Lake Chelan area next time.
Qh S — Google review
Hard Row to Hoe is such a fun and memorable stop in Lake Chelan. The tasting room has a lighthearted, cheeky vibe, but the wines themselves are seriously good. I loved the Shameless Hussy Rose on a hot summer afternoon, and the Burning Desire Cabernet Franc is elegant with just the right amount of spice. What really sets this place apart is the story and the values behind it. It’s a family-run, organic vineyard that farms with a focus on sustainability and is even certified Salmon-Safe, which matters a lot in this region. You can feel good about the wine in your glass, knowing the vineyard practices are protecting the lake and the surrounding environment. And every tasting room associate knows “the story”, which you have to ask for on your first visit. Between the beautiful views, the playful branding, and the genuine warmth of the people who run it, Hard Row to Hoe is a winery I’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Lake Chelan or Manson.
Tessa S — Google review
First time to the vineyards and it was very nice, relaxing and welcoming. We each did the wine tasting then bought a bottle of port to drink. Their port is the best! I usually buy a bottle to bring home when I go to Leavenworth, since that's the closest tasting room to Seattle. PS, the bathroom wallpaper is all what everyone talks about! 😂
Li-Sun G — Google review
Beautiful atmosphere and they have a nice offering of wines and beers for those that tag along, lol. Check out their wallpaper!
Kristin N — Google review
Delicious wines and absolutely the best company in the Chelan AVA. This small, family run vineyard should be top of your list when visiting the Lake Chelan area. Lots of fun for kids and dogs too. We loved the new shaded area for our kids to run around and play in. Their fun themes - Nauti Buoy, Shameless Hussy, etc. add to their uniqueness. Don't forget to ask about the origin story of their label! Don't forget the Port shots in a yummy chocolate cup. Cheers.
Kelli M — Google review
Delicious local wine, gorgeous views, friendly folks and fun stories make for a not to be missed experience! One of my favorite things is that many of the wines are certified sustainable and salmon-safe! For a small, boutique winery, Hard Row offers an impressive variety of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines and they are all yummy! They have cheeses, cutting preserves, dried meats and crackers for pairings and something to snack on while savoring the wine and taking in the views. Since the wine is all made on site, in the fall sometimes you can even get a glimpse of the action! This is my favorite winery to take friends and family when they are visiting. Lots of fun, and there’s something for everyone!
Randi A — Google review
This is probably my favorite winery in the Chelan area...... such a cute story and great tasting wine. I have visited several times and the wine tasting is always a great one. This visit stood up to the reputation, the server was great telling us about the wines and carrying on good general conversation. The tasting room is adorably decorated to go with the theme..... and that wallpaper - am I blushing???? Haha. This time I left with a great bottle of white wine and a 4 pack of their new cider. A great visit for sure!
Dawn W — Google review
My large group of 9 was easily able to make a reservation here (a few days in advance). They have a lovely outdoor seating area with a few fire pits that were great on a cloudy day. The champagne (Good in Bed) was soooooo good! The place also has cool backstory, definitely ask your server about it. We had a great time here and will definitely be returning.

Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Cascade Mountains, Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is a charming family-owned destination that offers year-round tours and educational experiences. Visitors can enjoy up-close encounters with the majestic reindeer, including a herd of endangered Woodland Caribou. Whether it's during the festive Christmas season or any other time of year, this unique farm provides an enchanting opportunity to connect with Santa's famous crew.
A great experience to learn about farm life and interact with a Reindeer herd. The tour started with chicken feeding, a video about Reindeer, and a safety briefing. The group was separated into the two area, Cupid Corner for young kids and people with special needs, and the main Reindeer enclosure. I selected a branch with leaves to feed a Reindeer and walked into the enclosure. The Reindeer are gentle with people and love to feed on tree branches. I stopped at the food stand, The Blitzen Brew, for an Alaskan Reindeer sausage wrapped in a Norwegian potatoes lefse. You will also find a gift shop in the barn with reindeer merchandise including an ornament made from antlers. Located on Chumstick Hwy in Leavenworth, about a half mile from Front Street. One of most unique experiences to feed Reindeer on a family run farm with a gift shop, a nice food stand, and very friendly hosts. .
Ed L — Google review
Highly recommend anyone visiting Leavenworth to experience the Reindeer Farm. Buy your ticket in advance online for the time slot and day. Holidays will book fast and weekends too. Show up, checkin and get ready for a unique time! You will also be supporting the family owned business. The owner was great and walked us through the educational and safety protocols before going in with the Reindeer herd to feed and pet them. You’ll also get to feed chickens, see camels, bunnies, and meet their friendly barn cats. They have a little food and drink stand where you can try some unique items or familiar ones. They have several picture spots set up and a full gift shoppe on site. Visiting the farm was the highlight of my weekend trip to Leavenworth (along with riding the Alpine coaster in a separate location nearby)!
Kristina S — Google review
This may just be our favorite trip memory out of any vacation we've ever taken! What an incredible experience this farm offers. They've left no detail unthought of and I appreciate that it was a multigenerational family business. The gift shop was amazing and even though it was October when we visited, we sure felt like we were in the middle of Christmas! Great photo opportunities. Delicious, authentic food on site. Learned so much and experienced so many new things! Unforgettable time at Leavenworth Reindeer Farm! I don't want to give away too much so go and experience it for yourself!
Katelyn B — Google review
This was probably our favorite thing we did while we were in Leavenworth. Even though we went in October, it still had this really magical feel. We really loved it here! The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable, and it's also a family-owned business. As a city girl, I have little experience with animals, so I found myself initially uncomfortable. However, they made sure I felt welcome and comfortable from the beginning. You can really tell that they take good care of their animals. Despite the many animals on the farm, it remained incredibly neat and clean, which is a real bonus. I'll absolutely return soon. It's a must for anyone visiting Leavenworth or Washington state.
Yesmine K — Google review
We had so much fun! They really take care of these reindeers. It's not at all one of those places where you feel bad about the animals, these guys are very happy and the family is kept together. You really learn a ton about reindeer. There are also adorable cats, turkeys, and chickens.
Natalie B — Google review
Such a great place! So much fun interacting with their reindeer and of course the babies! Hansel & Gretel are just darling! Loved the informational video before going in with those wonderful animals! The camels were such a cool part of the place too!
Shawnee W — Google review
If you're visiting Leavenworth for the first time, one of the spots you definitely should visit is this reindeer farm! A family business where you can see the love and support that the family has on the animals. A very fun place for people of all ages!! We got to see the cute reindeer and feed them while being able to learn more about them and ask questions about how they are raised. The staff are so friendly and genuinely enjoy being there. So I think it's one of the best spots to visit in Leavenworth!
Brandon L — Google review
Quaint private reindeer farm caring for a large herd of reindeer. It’s is a family run organization and you can tell that they care for these animals deeply. Our reserved time for 6:00 was pushed back to 7:00 so that the reindeer would be more comfortable at cooler temperatures. We talked to multiple of the workers and they were more than happy to tell us about the different reindeers names, personalities, ages, and many other quirks that makes these animals unique. Kid-friendly as well and with the opportunity to feed these majestic creatures. Would recommend to anyone stopping in Leavenworth to experience this.

Families love the reindeer farm and nutcracker museum. Visit during Oktoberfest or the magical Christmas lights for extra charm!

Summetime at Leavenworth is fun too. Soaking in the sun at the Front Street park. Stroll through Front Street for some beer, pretzel, beer, souvenirs and beer (did I mention beer, just kidding). There is a nice gazebo and plenty of seating in the area. There was a local artists exhibition when we visited. Good food is on other streets and not on Front Street. You will love the vibe both in summer and winter.

Great shopping, great food, drinks, beautiful scenery. I loved the Christmas store, the hat store. There were artists selling there wares set up on the weekend in tents in the park with jewelry, photos, garden pieces.

Can't beat the Breakfast at the park for $10. Lots of shops in the area. Coffee, Carmel Apples, Ice Cream, Beer, Food, etc.

Beautiful park and gazebo in downtown. This is the "hangout" for visitors. There is an art show most summer weekends. It's packed during the holidays but very beautifully decorated. At least once in your lifetime a visit to Leavenworth in the winter is a must!

One of the few places open late on a Sunday night. Helpful people at the counter to order beers, cider, and food. Only a few ciders available, but possibly the best one I had all week, crisp and flavorful. Tomato soup and turkey sandwich were very good. Pretzel was pretty good. Great atmosphere inside.

I liked their ambience and vibes! Actually I don't drink, the purpose I had to be there was that the drinkers needed a driver to send them back to the hotel. I was thrilled to be there! People came in and out holding various beers, cheered for each other, talked loud and laughed like crazy, I could feel the happiness with them. It was a worry free zone, I think we all needed this moment!

The pretzel and beer we got were very good. I wasn't a fan of the beer cheese, but my husband loved it. They have a nice outside seating area for dogs. Very kind staff.

Love the vibes of this place and the beer. IPA was strong and worth every drop. I love the gondola. It was a great experience. It is a little wobby when you get on it, so don't spill your drink. Great place to hang out and get a good feel of the nice and cold weather of Leavenworth with their heater and fireplaces in the outdoor setting.

We wanted some takeaway beer - something quite specific. Friendly guy behind the bar gave us some tasters. We chatted about beers he liked what we were after - we went away happy. Nice place, nice beer, nice service. Chill vibes even though it was Labor Day and the town was really busy. Enjoying my beer on my road trip.
Joanna W — Google review
Good beers but the food is below average. The grilled cheese had such a funky taste to it - definitely not quality cheese at all. The tomato bisque was nice but too creamy for my taste. The pretzel is honestly the only food that seems worth it here! Beers were nice too.

Was recommended by a friend. Had a blackberry cider- delicious!! Was a beautiful, sat outside. Great views of the mountains. This place rocks! Staff were excellent. Got some of their own beer to go from their fridges. YAY!

A fantastic brewery with a beautiful atmosphere and super great service! The drinks were delicious, and the brewery itself has two levels, outdoor seating, and often hosts events like bingo nights! Such an awesome spot, would happily come here again.

Nature & Parks
Waterfront Park in Leavenworth is a peaceful riverside park that offers various recreational activities such as walking and biking trails, play areas, and picnic spots. It's an idyllic destination that features magnificent trees and leaves, which gives it a serene atmosphere. The town of Leavenworth itself is charming with its German-inspired architecture but retains originality to create nostalgia.
Beautiful waterfront park! There are small trails which any age group can access and enjoy the views. There is a playground for kids and beautiful trail for a walk alongside the river with beautiful views. Restrooms are available. Parking lot has decent amount of space.
Anjali P — Google review
We visited Waterfront Park during the summer, and it turned out to be a perfect spot for a relaxing and fun afternoon. Just two blocks from the main Leavenworth street, this park feels like a quiet escape from the busy downtown. The park is small but charming, with lots of shaded areas, seating, and clean restrooms. Although we didn’t have time to explore the trail, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. There's a lake within the park, and we saw many people floating down the river — a great way to cool off! There’s also a bridge where people were jumping into the water, which added a fun and lively vibe. If you're visiting Leavenworth in the summer, definitely bring a swimsuit and a floaty. It’s a great activity for both kids and adults — refreshing, fun, and free! Highly recommend stopping by.

River access and spots to enjoy nature. Only a road over from downtown, but offered a different environment. Nice place to take lunch.
J. R — Google review
Awesome place to tube, hang out by the water and enjoy nature. It’s especially nice about 1-2 hours after sunset in the summer. Parking lot is small but the walk is short. Amazon place for pictures or just to sit and relax.
David L — Google review
Excellent mostly flat trails with a few restrooms along the way. A few playgrounds for the kiddos and in the fall, it’s a kaleidoscope of color!! You may even see a family of deer crossing the river.
Dyanne G — Google review
Beautiful park. The Baird island trail was nice and small.
Haridas A — Google review
This park wasn't what I expected, and I was surprised with how many beaches it has. It would be better with more signs indicating the beaches, since I saw some people swimming at certain points and didn't know how they got in there. The playground looks renovated with interesting equipment and multiple types of swings. Portable toilets were at the entrance, but I found out later there's an actual restroom building. It smelled bad in the restroom, and I wish they left the door open if they could.
Tiffany O — Google review
Waterfront Park is a peaceful spot to step away from the busyness of town and enjoy a slower pace. The playground makes it great for families, and having bathrooms on-site is a thoughtful touch. When we visited, the Sugarloaf Fire gave the park an eerie look in photos, but it was still a beautiful and memorable place to stop

Lady Of The Lake is a popular tourist attraction in the state of Washington, offering visitors stunning views and a variety of outdoor activities. One way to experience the beauty of Lake Chelan and its surrounding towns is through helicopter tours offered by Lake Chelan Helicopters. In addition to aerial tours, visitors can also enjoy boat rides on the lake, providing breathtaking views of the scenery.
Nice getaway! Had a relaxing trip to Stehekin and enjoyed the views from the ferry. It was long, but a beautiful ride. The guides were super friendly and funny!
Shae F — Google review
Had a great time going to Stehekin. Went to the bakery and Rainbow Falls. Took the fast Lady Liberty up and the Lady Express back. Rented electric bikes and toured around. Fun.
Dennis H — Google review
One of the great experiences on The Cascade Loop with a ferry ride on Lake Chelan to the remote town of Stehekin. I boarded The Lady Express in Chelan for a two and half hour ride to Stehekin with several stops along the way. It was nice to learn about the points of interest along the lake including the narrowest part of the lake. It was amazing to be on the lake with great views of peaks and Mountains along the lake. The ferry has a restroom and and a snack shop on board. I booked the Rainbow Falls tour with a stop at the bakery and a great experience in Stehekin. Stehekin has one restaurant and limited lodging options, but there are a number of tours of the lower valley that will not take all day. Located at the Lake Chelan Boat Company on W Woodin, which is US-97 Alt in Chelan. A great place to take a ferry on Lake Chelan to a remote town with a number of tour options and amazing views of the deepest Gorge in North America.
Ed L — Google review
From Chelan, we rode the Liberty to Stehekin. Spent our day checking it out, but the ride home on the Express was a blast. What a hot rod. Lake was smooth enough it was a hour and half ride. We will go again. I didn't get a photo of the express, just the video of the ride.
John P — Google review
Nice ferry ride out to and back from Stehekin. You can park at Chelan or Fields Landing to start this adventure. Keep a close eye on the departure times and plan accordingly.
Laura S — Google review
This boat ride was worth every penny and contributed to a great vacation in the Cascades. The dock is easy to find and as soon as you arrive, everything is easy from parking to boarding. Ride itself was smooth and on a clean boat. The folding chairs aren't the most comfortable but this is not a luxury cruise. The pilot was great and his narratives were very educational. We rode to Stehekin and took the Rainbow falls tour which I'd highly recommend. The snack bar on the boat is very small so I'd recommend bringing your own food and drinks. I'd take this tour again if I come back to the area.
Christopher S — Google review
It was a great ride to Stehekin, we did the 1.5 hour layover but when we do it again I will do the 3 hour, we could have spent more time.
Cassandra M — Google review
I did the day trip up to Stehekien, 3.5 hours each way for 1.5 hours up in Steheiken... crew was great, I struggled to hear the narration on the Upper deck, perhaps because there was a school group up there too, so moved downstairs to the soft seats. One of the bathrooms was out of order, so a line formed for the other. We had calm water, and was a smooth ride. Lots of shade, beautiful views the entire time.

Water & Amusement Parks
Nestled on the Chelan Butte with stunning views of Lake Chelan, Slidewaters is a popular family-friendly water park in the Northwest. It offers a variety of attractions suitable for all ages and swimming abilities. From the 500-foot Lazy River to beginner slides like Bug-a-Boo for parents and toddlers, as well as thrilling options like Tube Blaster and Purple Haze, there's something for everyone.
We had a blast and will definitely be back. The price was affordable, the staff was polite, and the overall vibe was laid back. It wasn’t too busy and had enough activities to keep us busy for hours.
Falan M — Google review
We visited Slidewaters as two adults and one child and paid $85 for all of us. 🏖️ Totally worth it! The water park is compact and easy to navigate — you don’t need to walk far between attractions. 👣 Great for families with kids! You can grab a bite right inside 🍔🍟 — burgers, fries, soda, and even ice cream 🍦. It was pretty busy, but the atmosphere was still fun and enjoyable. 😎 Lots of slides are family-friendly, and many allow you to ride together with your child, which is a big plus! 👨‍👩‍👧💦 Definitely recommend for a summer day in Chelan! 🌞🎉

Clean, fun water slides, sandy volleyball court, and cool wave pool. All different cultures and ages can come to learn to surf or enjoy watching others surf while drinking a cold delightful beverage. Lots of places to lay out your towel for sunbathing and enjoyment. The only thing that bothered me is the price of food. Still worth going to relax and have fun 😊
Cassandra B — Google review
Is a great place to take the kids. If you are new to the park, is good to know a few things: bring beach towels, is up to you but you can bring little tents since is very common to see family's bringing them and setting it down on the grass. You can rent a cabana but only if you want a private space and don't want to pack anything to sit. Also upstairs there are chairs and lounge chairs with umbrellas that you can sit and relax. Since I went on a not so sunny day it was ok but looks like it could be very sunny upstairs not a problem if you like the sun. The slides are fun, just prepare to walk up the hills, it is for all ages literally, I will come back. Ohhh bring food if you don't want to eat fast food other than that they sell the regular things you can find in places like this, burgers, fries, etc.
Maria C — Google review
We had such an amazing time at Slidewaters in Chelan! I went with friends and it was the perfect spot for a fun, memorable day. The slides were a blast, the water was refreshing, and the whole place had such a positive, summer vibe. Everything was clean, well-kept, and the staff made sure things ran smoothly. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Chelan and want to have a good time with friends or family.
Motivation D — Google review
Awesome place! Small area for square footage, but packed tight with tons of slides. All of them are fun in their own way, and range in intensity for all ages. Only warning from my experience is that the intermediate slide #3 almost yeet-ed me off the slide.... left side of my body was out of the tube, but I survived. I didn't actually do that slide again. No running start on it either... but I'm a big guy, so maybe it was an issue of mass x velocity.... but my two kids played hard all day, and refused to leave... but we're passed out once seated in the car. Only picture i got was of the hang out pool that we sat beside.

Great for all ages . Granddaughter was 3 and she could touch the bottom of the lazy river. perfect for little kids and she went down 4 of the small waterslides while I waited at the bottom for her . We had older kids with us too perfect for a family. Bring a soft cooler, hard coolers not allowed . Bring sand toys too there is sand area above to play in for kids or a volleyball. You can bring small tents for shade or to rest in on grass !!! Bought my ticket online got there at 830 to line up before opening no wait YAY!!!

Our guide, Megan, was truly a highlight of our personal tour here at the dam. I grew up here in Wenatchee in the late 70s/early 80s and remember visiting the museum as a youngster-- to have memories rekindled by seeing the volcanoes and glacier ice mural in its same location as my 9 year old brain remembered is truly extraordinary in this time period. The Discovery Center is a wealth of information, history, art, and a multimedia reflection of something truly extraordinary: a community-owned utility district and hydroelectrical system. Megan kindly and with incredible depth of knowledge took me, my partner, my dad and stepmom around the facility. She shared so much information that was new to me as an adult about how unique the facility is. With a progressive vision implemented in the 1950s with an eye for the long-term, Megan shared how the facility is continuing to evolve and how community-first this utility really is. To return to a place that is a mix of both old and new, the retro (but my living memory!!) and the evolving perspective/learning activities that is especially great for younger kids, is such a heart-expanding experience. Thank you, Megan and all staff we interacted with while visiting on site, June 26th 2025!! My inner 4th and 5th grader was thrilled to be able to try turning that human-powered generator in a box, now at age 55. It's still there, and what a treat to integrate so many positive memories in one place. This is a gem! It's not flashy and flashy wouldn't suit. You can see fish going through the ladders and the whole experience is gloriously analog and magical. Come visit. Not only that, it's a free resource held in trust by the Wenatchee Valley community. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. ❤️‍🔥💚🙏🐠

What a hidden gem! A delight for all ages. I am awestruck at how impeccable their grounds design is, and how well maintained. They offer so many options (playground and picnic areas outside, plus picturesque views-can't be beat), plus interactive and informative exhibits inside. They even offer some food options. It's wheelchair accessible, also. Best of all, this jewel is free (parking included). They upgraded extensively in the last couple of years. It is our favorite place to stop by, either on, or our way back from Chelan. Congratulations to the whole team on a job well done: planning, and excuting. Friendly staff to boot. Highly recommend.😊

Went with high hopes and young kids snd we loved every second! The grounds and playground are beautiful and the discovery center was so well designed perfect for kids and families! My kids loved looking for fish, the animal prints and their poop 🤭 steering the boat, the interactive displays and the clean energy game! The 4 adults that came had fun things to do as well! The staff was so friendly and gave our kids fish necklaces which they all love! Also so grateful for the little cafe/gift shop! Perfect place to stretch your legs and learn in a fun way before going to Leavenworth! We will be making this apart of our yearly family trip to Leavenworth and definitely telling others to make it a stop for them! 10/10!

Take the 30min free tour—it’s enjoyable & educational! The tour guide was super enthusiastic & friendly, making the experience spectacular 🤗

We showed up on a Saturday, on a whim, just driving through. It was AMAZING!!!!! The curator was great, full of so much information. Wow! What an excellent museum and staff! I've been wanting to come here for years but the timing has never worked. It's open Thursday through Sunday, 11 to 5 so you can make a plan to stop by. It is on the Yellowstone Trail and you can learn all about it there. If you are a rockhound, you will absolutely love the huge rock gallery that includes meteorites and glow-in-the-dark rocks. I'm planning to go again this year because I didn't allow enough time. So much history, so well done, a real treat!

Such an amazing experience! We did our wedding here and Samantha Segaline who runs the place, got all the tables and chairs set up beautifully and a dance floor too with microphones and speakers. It took out all the tedious and stressful work on the day of the wedding and it all came with the package. We were able to do photography months before the wedding for engagement photos and then for our wedding three hours before: they were very accommodating for all our needs. The food delivery ran smoothly as they had an accessible spot for food and for other accessibility needs like grandparents. So beautiful, loved it. Would recommend to anyone: very affordable.

Pybus Public Market is a spacious and vibrant marketplace located in Wenatchee, Washington. Spanning the size of a football field, this indoor street market offers an array of local farm goods, artisanal foods, and specialty shops. Visitors can explore fresh produce from nearby farms, as well as butcher shops, cheese vendors, regional wines, and delightful pastries. The market also hosts restaurants and live music performances on Friday evenings.
Nice place to visit with family We tried the pizza with hot honey and the special with beef jerky - both were delicious! 🍕🔥 The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, definitely a cozy spot to enjoy good food together.
Karina P — Google review
The market has a fun atmosphere, but it’s primarily geared toward dining rather than shopping. Had we known that in advance, we would have planned our visit differently. While there are a few booths with local products, the focus is clearly on food stalls. If you’re expecting a broader variety of goods or a traditional market vibe, this may fall short. Still, it could be a nice stop if you’re hungry and in the mood to try different local eats.

Amazing combination of permanent restaurants and shops mixed in with temporary craft vendors. All shops are small businesses and independent. Whatever you're looking for, fresh produce, cheese, meat & seafood (seasonal), wine, vinegrettes/olive oils, coffee, craft beer... it's here. Definitely worth the look.

Such a neat place to browse, sadly I wasn't hungry, so so many yummy looking food opportunities!! I'd love to make a special trip to the area to visit again. Make a day trip and shop and eat, you won't regret it! There are little vendors and bigger booths of specialty items and what I saw was reasonably priced. There's a butcher booth (whole shop really) on site too!

This is a great market to go to with good food and wine, and other stuff. Just watch out for the rude yuppies that have no problem plowing into a 92-year-old man as he is being assisted in walking down the main corridor. Regardless of that, I still enjoy going there and it's a great meeting place. Also, don't forget to try Little Red's Espresso located in a silver airstream in the parking lot. Best Latte' in town!

This is a great spot for some good skiing and snowboarding. The staff is very friendly and the slopes are well taken care of. Lift 2 was my favorite as it takes you to the top of the mountain where you get some amazing views.

Went December 2024 and was such an awesome experience! ‘Pod’-style ski lift provided much needed wind barrier that day! Inversion that week for weather and the views were spectacular! Lines were short that trip due to cold/freezing temps. Parking lots easy to navigate for large vehicles 😁

Absolutely gorgeous! It somehow has the charm and relaxing atmosphere without too much crowds like most large ski resorts, I can sit down nicely have a great lunch and enjoy the snow after lunch. Highly recommended!

Don’t come here. We like it without the lift lines, without crowded slopes and without terrible parking. If you come here it will be one step closer to the crowded more well known resorts in WA - most of which that have worse snow conditions and the same level of terrain. Please pay to park at Crystal, ski in the rain at Summit West and leave this place alone.

The energy they all give off is contagious, I found myself laughing and joking along with them. By lesson #4 we were all on a first name basis. It's been a great experience and I'm looking forward for next season, thanks Mission Ridge!

The local ski resort of choice. Gorgeous views, great options for food and beverages, fun activities, super friendly and fun staff. An overall warming experience even though you’re in the cold, snowy mountain valley. Oh and clean bathrooms!!! That says A LOT about how this resort cares about the quality of everything they provide their guests.

This is a stop well worth your time. The scenery is spectacular, the visitor center is inviting and informative, the tour is interesting and the tour guide is a treasure. My wife and I really enjoyed our experience. This is a great stop for families as well and there are picnic tables. There is no admission charge. You will need to sign a liability waiver and wear hard hat and safety glasses on the tour. The tour covers a bit less than half a mile with slight elevation decrease and gain.

Lots of in depth interpretation in the displays and the docents are very knowledgeable. Tour happen daily. Spring time is exceptional with a large diversity of flowers and insects. It is quite windy so be prepared for that if you’ll be walking around outside of the visitor center

Super good place to stop by and see wind turbines from close. This place has great scenic views as well. They have guided (and free) tours at 10 am and 2 pm. Staff is very nice and friendly.
N N — Google review
It's worth the long winding drive to watch the wind turbines up close. And so much more you can learn in the center. Watch out for rattlesnakes in the area, they are so good at camouflage.
Harini R — Google review
This place was awesome, we happened to be in the area and decided to take the long was home from a concert at the gorge. This was for sure worth the drive, it does seem kind of like a road to no where but very pretty and scenic. We are middle aged and really enjoyed the information and history in the center they have! You get to get up close to the wind turbines and it really puts them into perspective of how big they really are. If your lucky you might even get to watch them climb them. Truly a phenomenal experience and I highly reccomend visiting at least once. The weather was awesome, there were plenty of parking spots, and it was not crowded. We went in the middle of june! It was perfect.

Thank you to Puget Sound Energy for establishing the Wild Horse Renewable Energy Center and making it possible for the public to experience a wind power facility up close. I once tried to visit the Ivanpah Solar Electric facility in California but was met with a rather unfriendly reception. In contrast, Puget Sound Energy not only contributes meaningfully to the production of renewable energy but also shows us that such efforts are truly worthwhile. The visitor center offers a unique and valuable opportunity to educate the next generation about clean energy. While I understand that maintaining a visitor center in such a location must come at a significant cost, I sincerely hope Puget Sound Energy continues this important work. Opportunities to engage directly with wind power technology are rare, and I encourage more people to visit and experience it firsthand.
Fang D — Google review
A very good place to see what is a wind farm like and they even have a blade lying on the ground that you can see at very a close distance. A good place to spend a weekend with a little bit of learning and a little bit of hiking. Despite of the strong wind, it may be hot in a sunny summer afternoon. Please add or remove some clothes before the guided tour begins.

This is my first time to see windmills in so short distance. They are very impressive. And there are some activities for kids to do in the information center.

The Gorge Amphitheatre

Amphitheater
Sights & Landmarks
The Gorge Amphitheatre is a remote concert venue that can accommodate up to 20,000 people while offering stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge. The amphitheater hosts national touring acts and allows audiences to enjoy live shows in a picturesque setting. However, visitors should be prepared for a long walk on event day since much of the ground is uneven. Ramps are available for assistance, but those with mobility issues or wearing high heels may struggle in parking lots and grassy areas.
Incredible experience. Some of the most breathtaking views and gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen. Parking (arriving and leaving) wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. If you have the chance to see a concert here, would highly recommend it. (Saw Dave Matthews Band for three nights over Labor Day weekend, and would definitely love to do it again someday.)
Brian B — Google review
This is a world class venue! Stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge Valley, stunning sunset views, then you ad in live music (Red Rocks Amphitheatre Co.) and the Gorge is equal to in every way. The owners have gone out of their way to give you an incredible live music experience!!! I definitely in courage you to find a band that you love that's playing @ the Gorge Amphitheatre and go see them there! There is All types of overnight camping ⛺ from tent, Truck, RV to Glamping! Every price range from a few dollars a night to hundreds it's up to you. The Gorge Amphitheatre is in the middle of nowhere it's a long drive so it's best to just spend the night, enjoy the concert and get a fresh start in the morning! There are plenty of clean restrooms and even showers on site.

This was a bucket list venue for me. We attended the Whiskey Myers and Tedeschi Trucks band show on 8/9/25. I bought tickets online a week or so before the show. Having never been here before I bought a Star Plus parking pass and the side lounge upgrade. We had a stellar time. The bands were great. The sunset and the view is the gorge was incredible. I thought the sound was better from the 200 section where we had seats than in the lounge. The star plus parking worked out for us. We did sit in a little bit of a line getting in - we came around 4:00pm because I wasn’t sure what to expect with traffic. We had zero traffic until we got to the gate. There was some kind of issue with the ticket scanner for the parking area and that is what the hold up was. It probably took them 15 minutes to figure that out. Once we parked we got past that it was fine. We had zero issues getting out but I will say we didn’t stay until the end, we left maybe after 45 minutes of the second band because we had a two hour drive and I didn’t want to take the chance of getting stuck in traffic trying to exit. I don’t regret getting the lounge upgrade. There weren’t to many people in there which was nice. I would say, if you are getting lawn seats, maybe do the upgrade so you can get a closer view of the gorge but if you don’t care about that then just stay out in lawn. There was no line for bathrooms over here either. The 200 section wasn’t as far back as I thought it might be so we had a nice view of the stage and the sound was good there. I was worried about having cell signal here but that was not an issue. I had pictured this being in the middle of nowhere and it somewhat is but it really wasn’t that far out there. You will pass hundreds of apple trees getting here. It was nice drive. For outdoor venues, Red Rocks is still my number one but we thoroughly enjoyed this experience. If it’s on your list, make a plan to visit.
Miss V — Google review
The Gorge has come a long way over the years. Before water was scarce and no outside containers allowed, but now you can bring in empty camel backs depending on the event and they've worked on security issues. Best venue for a view Ive ever been to, 100% recommend going!
Matthew B — Google review
Truly one of my most amazing experiences ever! It is certainly something to see, at least once, in your lifetime. Combine the beauty of nature outside with a band you love to see and hear, and what more could you want. Temps were warm while the sun was up but soon became reasonably cool and windy as the sun went below the horizon. Sitting at the top of the hill in a rented lawn chair was my favorite spot to be in for the entire show! Hope to go back real soon! A+++
Chip C — Google review
The crowd was great and the musicians were outstanding. Venue was nice but i didn’t see where it would be easy to get around for adults with disabilities. Also, if you are camping the noise from the RV generators is off the hook. I recommend staying away from that area unless you are also in an RV or trailer. I mean at 1am it was deafening so bring your noise cancellation headphones if you need to sleep. Security was a bit invasive walking into camping sites. I didn’t enjoy 20 year-olds walking up to me telling me to make sure I leave by noon the next day. The food was good but be prepared to pay $16 for a scoop of ice cream and $8 for a regular bag of ice. Not sure i would do it again, but there is always room for improvement.
The G — Google review
The Gorge is stunningly beautiful and has stunningly beautiful acoustics. It's our 3rd time here. This weekend for Dave Matthews. Every instrument is crystal clear with no reverb plenty of volume and nothing that hurts your ears. What God created at the Gorge is way better than any "perfect" venue made by man
Howard O — Google review
I love this venue! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a concert at a more magical or beautiful spot than this one! If you’ve have been thinking about going to a show here it is a must! Buy the ticket, book the camping and go!!

Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park

This place is a real gem 💎. You won’t be disappointed with a stop here. These petrified specimens are over 15 million years old, and an incredible glimpse into the past. A great road side stop along route to other adventures, or a worthwhile end destination itself. If you are able to visit the museum, you’ll get an incredible view of tons of specimens, and larger displays of the geologic processes at play. There’s also a series of petroglyphs down the side trail, behind the museum, and are the most impressive in WA I’ve seen yet. You won’t be disappointed by stopping here, a true national treasure and glimpse into the worlds before our time. The rock shop down the road just past the park entrance is worth a stop too. Take home a piece of petrified wood for yourself, to remember the scales of time — or even a trilobite (500 million years old).

Breathtaking Views and Top-Notch Staff, A Must-Stop Spot We visited Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park while traveling with my wife and some family, and it ended up being one of the unexpected highlights of our trip. The views are absolutely stunning with wide open landscapes and unique geological formations that are unlike anything we’d seen before. We explored on our own and loved the freedom to take it all in at our own pace. The staff struck the perfect balance of really helpful and friendly without ever being overbearing. The interpretive center was well worth the visit too. The video and the displays of petrified wood were fascinating, and we all came away learning something new. If you’re passing through the area, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s a peaceful, scenic, and educational experience that’s great for all ages.

Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park – Vantage, WA A fantastic stop right off I-90 at the Columbia River! The Ginkgo Petrified Forest has an impressive collection of petrified trees and fascinating geological displays that tell the story of the region’s ancient landscape. The short scenic trails wind through a striking, desert-like setting with sweeping views of the Columbia River — perfect for a quick walk or photo stop. It can get a bit windy, but that just adds to the atmosphere. It was quiet when we visited on a weekday, yet still drew a few curious travelers. Definitely a must-see if you’re passing through central Washington!

Went on a Sunday afternoon around 3, was 70° out. This is a well maintained and beautiful park. I didn't know they have petroglyphs also so that was a nice surprise. The wood is beautiful and amazing to look at. The view is gorgeous.
Allofus R — Google review
very very cool place! i frequently drive i90 between seattle and spokane and have always wanted to stop, so im glad i finally got the opportunity! unfortunately our timing was off and we got there just after 5 when the visitors center closed, but what we saw was enough to convince us to swing by again to get the full experience! way better than a roadside attraction, i would definitely recommend stopping and taking in the sights and petroglyphs.
Baylee C — Google review
The views are amazing, the visitor center staff very welcoming and knowledgeable and the petrified wood is beautiful. Easy hiking on paved trails. So glad we stopped and would definitely return given the opportunity

A nice park to stop and see the petrified forest info. There is a hike around the area too and on this day we see some wildlife. Clean bathrooms inside the visitor area and plenty of parking. I have seen people also camping in this area.

Starting out the Labor Day weekend at Bonair Winery in Zillah. Linda was such a marvelous host, making our visit a very memorable occasion. My wife and I each tasted five different wines so we could try a total of 10 (and shared a little bit). Ended up buying two bottles of the Gewürztraminer (one to bring home and one to drink tonight with dinner) and a bottle of Petit Verdot. PS. The sunset view in the evening with Mt Adams on the horizon was amazing! It is our 3rd weekend with our new camper van and our 3rd 'campout' at a winery through Harvest Hosts. Two more winery camp outs scheduled this weekend in Zillah. What fun!

What an amazing weekend. If anyone had one winery they could visit, I would highly recommend coming to Bonair. It's definitely a hidden gem. This past weekend, I took my sisters from out of town to do some tastings. We visited and was completely impressed with the entirety of what we experienced. The winery, tasting room, entry, front area, library, was all amazing and beautiful. You can tell, this place is loved by us owners. The owners, Shirley and her husband, are GREAT people. Shirley was attentive, fun, and caring. Oh, the stories to be heard, simply fun. The wines are all good medals, definitely winners that you should try. The prices are fair, and the pours are GENEROUS. One of the best things about a private winery is not just the care for the business, BUT also for the community. Bonair supports its local libraries and sells/ donations for books in the side room. We bought quite a bit because the books look interesting to read, and they support the local community. We bought a couple of bottles, and it's been a week, and we need to replenish our stash, hehehe. If you get a chance, please stop by. You won't be sorry. Thanks, Shirley and Bonair, for making our visit memorable. We'll see you soon.

Beautiful winery, friendly owners/wine maker. Okay wines on average, found 2 we liked enough. Go for the beautiful location and try some wine. Some of the oldest wines in Yakima valley.

This was our first stop for wine tasting in Zillah. Beautiful location, we were greeted by the sweetest little dog! We had a great conversation with Kevin, and gave us a great tasting experience. Great wines, and very reasonably priced. We'd totally be back!

The staff were super friendly. We bought our own lunch and enjoyed it with their Rose. They provided us with some silverware and were very accommodating. They even gave some duck feed for the kids in our group. The duck pond is really fun and the vineyards and surroundings are gorgeous and make for beautiful backdrop for pictures.
Anusha E — Google review
Very nice facility, good selection, knowledgeable staff. My only “complaint” is the process was too much of a production than truly trying to educate anyone on the wines. More, here’s the list, pick one and drink, then pick another.
Vance P — Google review
This is my favorite winery in the yakima area. They have a few good choices for food like a charcuterie board, a panani and prochiuto wrapped asparagus (seasonal?). We ordered 1 of each and loved them all, plus brought a picnic. Their wine prices are also reasonable. Outside you get a super casual atmosphere(not the typical cookie-cutter-overmanicured-destination winery) A pond with ducks and a great view! They have seating inside as well. Next time, we are skipping the over thought, over-priced and overdone wineries and heading straight to Bonaire! The staff are also down to earth. Ireally love this place.
Katherine M — Google review
The hosts/service were/was excellent. The wine was amazing. Our favorites were the Malbecs and Petit Verdot(to each their own). They have a full kitchen and were open for Phase one quarantine. The ducks were very friendly.

Final—and favorite—stop of the day! 🍷🌿 We were warmly greeted by Stephanie, who was not only knowledgeable about the wines but also incredibly insightful about the vineyard’s operations. As we enjoyed our flight, she shared fascinating bits of family history and details about the different vineyard plots. When our questions got more technical, she introduced us to Matt, who generously took the time to chat about his family’s farming legacy and sustainable growing techniques. And yes, we got to meet Cash—the adorable black Lab affectionately known as “Cash Man the Trash Man,” trotting around with random treasures in his mouth. 🐾 The winery offers both indoor and covered outdoor seating, making it a comfortable spot year-round. It’s certified sustainable, kid- and dog-friendly, and run by some of the most welcoming people we met all day. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

Last winery stop after two days of exploring. Other wineries in the area had recommended us to stop here and we are glad we did. Thanks Jeff for the great tastes. The flights are very well organized with tasting room specials. Beautiful surroundings as well

Stopped in because another location didn't have correct hours on their website. Boy are we glad that was the case. We pivoted to Two Mountain Winery and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The wine was excellent, and our guide was Braden who taught us a ton about the business of wines - wine making. He was patient, informative and knowledgable. I would certainly add Two Mountain Winery to your list while in the area.

Very cute winery and tasting room in Zillah! We lucked out and visited a day before the latest COVID restrictions went into effect, so we got to do a nice, private tasting in the outdoor seating area. The staff and their pup were very accommodating and super friendly. We did a couples tasting which was a great value and offered a selection of reds and whites. We left with a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc, but also really enjoyed their Syrah and Merlot as well! Definitely a must visit!! 👍👍

Casinos & Gambling
Basic gaming floor with slots, poker & table games, also offering a buffet, deli & espresso bar.
We went to see a concert and stayed the night. I read the reviews ahead of time and was slightly apprehensive but we had a great time. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was big and modern and I really liked the shower. The whole room was spotless. We ate at the food court and the food was delicious. The casino has a good variety of slot machines. When we first tried to play table games, most of the tables were crowded but they soon opened up another set of tables. I found all the staff friendly and really didn't have any complaints about any part of our trip.

The place is very beautiful. The rooms are nice, but the service can use some more time management . My checkin time was at 3pm . That was not the problem it was that I got their at 7 pm, and my room was not even ready. I was very disappointed. And they could have had better towels. Other than that. The place was a nice place to stay for 3 days. Very peaceful. I enjoyed my time their.
Darnell B — Google review
Great price. Location was a 4 as was easy to find and other fast food restaurants nearby, if you wanted to go out. But had good restaurants inside. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. The only cons are that there is not very much if anything to do outside of the casino, and I felt (my opinion) that the buffet is overpriced.
Georgina R — Google review
You must show your ID upon entering! This casino is strict and payouts are non existent. Do not plan on winning here. The brunch buffet was expensive, greasy and not very hot. I can't think of anything good about my experience. The music they play is boring elevator music. Their elevator shut too fast, I and my husband both got bruises trying to stop the door! The concert we went to was short and the audience was passive, not much enthusiasm in that crowd. The band was great they deserved more... I personally would not recommend.
Holly J — Google review
I have never seen a casino pay so low. all of their machines are turned way down and no one is hitting anywhere in the entire casino. They are definitely below what the gaming commission would consider legal. They would also get a lot more people gambling if they weren't so tight with their payouts
Kelly J — Google review
It took a few days before I could gather my thoughts to write this review after the horrific treatment my family and relatives experienced. The staff was less than hospitable, and that’s the nicest way I can possibly put it. You don’t fly thousands of miles for a family gathering just to have people mistreat you at your first meal. My aunt was denied entry because she didn’t have her ID. You would think that there should be a completely separate entrance and space for non-gamblers. I mean, if you’re exclusively a casino, I get it, but you’re not. You offer other services that have nothing to do with gambling. It was just downright humiliating. I don’t want to have to say that it’s a race issue, but it is. And no, that’s not just based on my aunt being my denied entry. I understand that there isn’t a large Asian demographic in the area, this is 2025, racism doesn’t fly anymore. Can we normalise learning how to talk to people of every race with respect? If that’s not your thing, hospitality is not the field you should be working in. Being rude and dismissive is not acceptable.
Jeannie J — Google review
The rooms are beautiful. Spa is pretty good, but kinda pricey in comparison to other stand alone spas in the area. Food options are pretty good. The coffee shop has great drink options and amazing ice cream!

We went there tonight for my husbands birthday. My husband and myself ordered the ribeye steak which was $40 each. My brother in law ordered the prime rib. We have never had worse food ever! The quality of the meat was bad, but so was the chef. Our potato’s were cold the so were the vegetables. We will never eat there again😡🤓

We loved every minute of our time at Alexandria Nicole Cellars. The flight was perfect and we were tended to by a wonderful host. The winery is set in a beautiful location with stunning views, making it feel like an oasis. While the tour may not always be available, the wine tasting provides a generous and varied selection of flavors. The $30 per head fee can be waived with the purchase of two bottles of wine.
Beautifully landscaped location with a spectacular view. The tasting room is elegant and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. The tasting selection was extensive and the wines superb! We purchased 3 cases! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We enjoyed our experience there. The party nearby left a pair of sunglasses on their table and the staff kindly ran out to return it to them. I highly recommend visiting here!

Stopped here to do a wine tasting and wound up staying for lunch and then coming back for their monthly three course dinner later in the evening. The wine was some of the best we tasted in the Red Mountain area, and the food was just as spectacular. Katie who did our tasting was very knowledgeable and told us so much about both the wine and the region as well as how things are grown. She provided excellent wine recommendations and also let us compare and contrast some of the different wines which really made for a great tasting experience. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back often for both the food and the wine, but we had to settle with ordering some to be shipped home.

We had the Ceasar salad and chicken. The dressing was not terrible but was put on a little heavy and needed just a little more zest to it to be very good. We also had the Giacomo pizza, which was very good. It had very good ingredients and was cooked nicely. Lizzy had the Albarino and seemed to enjoy it a lot. Overall prices are not terrible for a vineyard but are on the pricier side but not a terrible value. We We definitely come back on occasion.

We booked a tasting followed by a reservation for their Thursday night happy hour. The facility is very very nice, with Italianate decorations and patio. The wines were some of the best in the area, as well as plenty of different types to try. The food was SO so good too! I felt like we had really lucked out on booking at this winery, and I don't feel like we could have gotten better food anywhere else in the area. The Divola pizza was divine! Our server was very kind and personable, which is always appreciated. She answered all of our questions and never made us feel neglected or rushed. The owner of the winery was present behind the bar that night and opened up wines not on the menu so that we could have extra tastings, which made us feel very special. I will definitely come back again, and specifically book the Happy Hour too! I am very appreciative to have found this winery!

Tami and Katy were the best! They were so kind and personable. Additionally, the charcuterie board was the best we have ever had and bonus because they also had local draft beer which my fiancée enjoyed. They had a great selection of white estate wines to choose from. The arch terrace Chardonnay did not disappoint.

Loved this gorgeous winery! The view is absolutely breath taking. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends as this place gets very busy. They have an onsite kitchen and is a very popular spot for wine and lunches. They are dog friendly on the patio only. You get to taste about 8 wines for $30 Or fee is waived with a purchase of any two bottles. Tasting did not disappoint from their whites to red. They have a variety for all taste buds. I loved all their Cabs. They have a mix of 100% Cab to some with Merlot and Cab Franc. All were delish and as I was tasting I kept thinking of food items these would pair well with. Of course we purchased half a case variety of red wines. Venue is super clean, great vibe and super friendly staff. Darcy and Alex were both amazing. We will definitely be going back here when in the area.

Alex H.was our waitress, and Chef Dan was our cook. When we arrived, we were seated appropriately. The wine tasting was interesting. Then, YES! My order was running late (food ).Ok stop! Here comes the Five stars. I expressed it was best to get the bill, and move on... NOPE! They took it to the next level and as light as they are with staff, they came through in a clutch.

We didnt get to do the tour due to unavailability and had to contend with the wine testing. First thing first - beautiful location. Felt like an Oasis when we went in. Beautiful views. Coming to wine testing - nice flavors (I am not a big wine lover, but liked the different tastes/wines they had). They charged $30/head. That would have been waived off, had you gotten two bottles of wines from them. Since I am not a big wine drinker, i opted for the tasting. They have cheese and crackers, which we need to buy and they would serve it for you. Our hostess was patient and clear while explaining each one before pouring. We didnt get food here, but i saw food being served to a table. I would definitely recommend this place if you wanted to do some wine tasting.

Manhattan Project National Historical Park (MAPR) - Hanford

History comes alive here. The secretive nature of The Manhattan Project is told during this tour. Seeing the old technology that was used to create the atom bomb was quite interesting. The fact that you are able look at exhibits at your own pace is incredible. Highly recommend this tour.

A nice visitors center, staff was very accommodating as it was close to closing when I arrived. A great pictorial simmary of the history of Hanford sites. A shame the tours of B Reactor are on hold until refurbishment is scheduled to be completed in 2027.

You'll enjoy yourself here if you enjoy history and science. When I went on this tour, I had two people named Rick and Joe. They did a great job of providing information about reactor B. You'll get on a bus and head out to reactor B. The bus ride is between 30 to 45 minutes. The bus does have A/C and a restroom on board. You'll arrive and be instructed to go inside , and then you'll start your tour. The facility isn't the biggest historical monument I've been too but the information from it really makes up for it. You'll have two informative tours. One is in the control room while the other is in the water area. They last around 30 minutes. Bathrooms here are outside in porter John's. They do provide free water. The temperature inside the facility is warm (80F) . They do have one room with A/C just in case you need to cool down. Snacks inside the building aren't allowed but are welcomed on the bus. Also, taking photos is welcomed as well. If you are asking yourself if you should do this? I would say, "Go ahead and go." The cost is free besides the gas to get to the meet point. The information is overwhelming.

We had the place to ourselves! Day one of the government shutdown but they were open! Wonderful and knowledgeable guide in the welcome center. Don't miss the movie!

Have taken both the B Reactor tour and the Pre-Manhattan Project tour and both were very interesting and informative! The guides have great stories and are knowledgeable. Highly recommend! Bonus we got to see elk!

Extremely fascinating and well done tour, amazing that it's free by the government. Incredible opportunity to witness the B reactor. Insane the amount of effort, time, money, and manpower that went into building one-site to produce a small amount of material

What an amazing experience. My family and I lived every minute. The team there helped our children and gave them a great experience. The junior ranger program was also awesome. My boys were sworn in at the end of the tour after they figured out all the top secret mysteries.

The Reactor B museum at Hanford was very interesting and the docents were very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the tour and looking at all the artifacts. The videos were very helpful in explaining how the reactor worked. The videos can be seen on YouTube if you want to look at them before you take the tour. Make reservations ahead of time and bring water to drink. 45 minute bus ride to the reactor but the docent's make it interesting.

Howard Amon Park, situated on the Columbia River in Richland, Washington, offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors. The park features tree-lined walking paths, tennis courts, and a playground for children of all ages. Additionally, it provides access to the river for fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming.
We absolutely love this park! Lots of stuff for all ages, with new, well-maintained playground, zip line, climbing walls, sandbox, accessible playplace, and wading pool. Great picnic tables, trash cans, and shady grassy areas for picnics or parties. Close to the river and walking trail. This is our favorite park!

The wife and I stopped here while enjoying the evening after dinner visiting Richland. Great park with lots of paved access for wheelchairs and mobility devices. Easy to get near the water. Even at night it was mostly well lit. Certainly an interesting dichotomy with the fancy river cruise boat docked at one end and the homeless resources van at the others. The restrooms were ROUGH and smelled like cheap weed but the overall park was clean and well maintained. We even banged around on the little precision garden next to the playground and it was nice. Lots of folks playing pickle ball and volleyball and the courts were well lit. Totally worth a stop and the history of this land is cool too with the connection to the Manhattan project. On a side note it was nice to see a publicly accessible AED in the parking lot with lots of lights directing you to it.

In town for Art in the Park. Parking was NUTS, but the park is huge and awesome with tons of cool toys and things to do. Plus hundreds of vendors. Will be back next year. Awesome job Richland Parks and Rec team!!

It's a king-sized park that runs along the river. On a hot day it's a fun place to swim. Huge shade trees, green grass, squirrels, and a paved walkway that runs throughout the park. Picnic tables, benches, and really fun looking kids Playgrounds - and there's a wading pool too.

Howard Amon Park is a very large and versatile park with so much to offer, especially for families with children. The playground area is expansive—kids could spend hours here exploring and playing, which is always a good sign (and might even mean an early bedtime afterward!). There’s even a small rock climbing wall where little ones can start learning to climb in a safe environment. At the moment, the water pool is under construction and won’t reopen until summer 2026, but there’s still plenty to enjoy. The park also has a nice little beach area along the Columbia River, perfect for fishing if that’s your thing, though I personally wouldn’t recommend swimming there. The grounds are beautiful, with wide grassy spaces, lots of trees (great for hanging up a hammock), and plenty of shaded spots to relax. There are also picnic areas available to rent for gatherings and special occasions. Overall, this is one of the most robust and well-rounded parks I’ve ever visited—perfect for families, events, or just enjoying the outdoors.

We love this park! One of the best parks in the USA in my opinion! Love vending here for Art in the Park festival with my business THE WAVY BUNCH! Lots of shade, fun playgrounds, soft grass & great swimming!

I truly enjoyed my time at the park. It was snowing, very cold, deserted, and so beautiful. The world was hushed with snow. The only sounds were the birds chattering on the river. I look forward to seeing the sunrise next time I visit. Do be aware that I spotted a rare venomous tundra squirrel. Don't turn your back to it and show no fear as it can sense such things.

This whole place is beautiful. The wading pool is my son’s absolute favorite. The boat is beautiful. The water is beautiful. The park is nice and clean.

Beautiful winery and well organized. Very friendly workers. Picked up a load of empty barrels. Guys who loaded my truck are rocks. They put 154 barrels in my container in less than one hour.

Visited 6/27. Had to knock to be let in a few minutes after 11. Two young women were ringing up people in safety vests(employees?) one after the other. After about 5 minutes of waiting at tasting bar, one of them asked if we were there for a tasting and we answered, yes. She stated she would be right with us and continued ringing up these vested people. After another 5 minutes of being ignored, we left. We had been regular drinkers of your wine, and had looked forward to this tasting. However, due to your employees' rude behavior, you have lost us as customers.

Nice winery with a lot of character, despite being like a corporation (watch the trucks with grapes come and go). Make sure to go down the stairs and see the cellar with all the cases. The tasting room is very comfortable, enough space to taste and browse the wines. Prices of the wines are very reasonable.

Beautiful grounds and a very nice tasting room with friendly employees. Visited during the Spring Barrel weekend and were fortunate enough to be able to go down into the cellar to taste wine from the barrels. Nice selection of items for sales including some cheese and other snacks.

We had the best time at Columbia Crest Winery today in the tasting room with Vicky,. She made our day by being so welcoming, joking around with us and being so informative! She even got us some cheese and crackers to go with the tasting! We shared how much we were looking forward to our visit, but had been worried of our delay during the drive to the winery from the Columbia Gorge waterfalls, as it was much farther than we were thinking and it took so long to get there that we didn’t arrive until 4:30, just having discovered that they closed at 5 pm while we were on the way! Upon arrival we thought we would be rushed through the tasting experience at this, our favorite overall winery, after coming from Philadelphia to visit while in Washington. But nothing could have been further from that as she showed us numerous wines and even gave us an individual tour of the vine cellar and a tasting from a barrel during fermentation! She shared her Columbia Crest story with us and even took a picture with us! In the end we were there for over an hour and we would have never known that she and a few of her colleagues were staying to make our experience so special! What a wonderful representation of Columbia Crest she was! Congratulation to Columbia Crest for having a great staff member to represent your business!! Highly recommend others touring this beautiful winery!

I'm going to be honest, I was a bit leery because it was such a big corporation winery. But it was actually a great experience. First of all $5 for 4, 5 tastes? Awesome. Second, the chateau they had was incredibly classy but approachable. Third, the attendant at the bar was incredibly nice, easy to talk to, and poured us drinks we were curious about, even if they were off the list. Good times and nice vineyard to walk around.

Planned a private wine tasting with my girls to catch up and drink wine. They even helped out with creating a charcuterie board to sample with the wines. Overall, a great experience and a beautiful place. Shame it was raining, would have loved to walk around but the scenery was breathtaking. Will be visiting again during my next visit.
