I remembered the old Mount Airy Lodge commercials from when I was a kid in the 1980s, and I wanted to see how this place changed since then, even though the original structure was demolished in the early 2000s. I came here for a little weekend trip for some gambling and a little spa treatment. This whole place is absolutely gorgeous. One of the best resorts I have visited. My room was clean and I had a nice view of the lake/golf course. The room has a fridge, but it only holds beverages (including alcohol) from the hotel that you are automatically charged if you remove anything. Same goes for snacks. The casino can be a little off putting since it is a tad smoky since smoking is permitted. Otherwise, they have a great selection of games to play. I really enjoyed the different slot machines. I took advantage of the Spa my second day and I was very satisfied with all my services. Shout out to Alyssa and Liana who did a fantastic job with my facial, manicure and massage. The Spa is very clean and well organized. Definitely recommend checking out. But be mindful that all services automatically charges 20% gratuity. They have several restaurants and a bar in the casino area along with a cute little gift shop. The coffee shop is downstairs on the other end of the hotel. When I arrived they had plenty of parking. It can seem like a nuisance to drag luggage from the car and have to cut through the casino to get to the front desk. I also attended an event in the conference area that was fun as well. And it wasn't that expensive. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and I will definitely come back again in the future.

Fantastic and very beautiful casino in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. The rooms are absolutely amazing and both the hotel and casino are great! The selection of slots and number of them ensure that you can almost always get your machine. The buffet is the best we have had at a casino, and is very reasonably priced. Every Wednesday has a 30% discount on the buffet. The Noodle bar and Italian restaurant are top notch as well. The payouts seem to be very generous as well!

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The overall cleanliness is unacceptable — everything feels dirty and neglected. The pools are very dirty, and the jacuzzi that is advertised simply does not exist. The service is terrible, and the staff look tired, unprofessional, and untidy. The food in the restaurant is awful — absolutely tasteless, the dishes are dirty, and even the tables are sticky and not properly cleaned. The dining area feels old and unpleasant. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is depressing. There is literally nothing to do here — no entertainment, no energy, nothing modern. I honestly don’t understand how this place has such a high rating. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 1990s. Everything — from the furniture to the decor — feels outdated. Maybe this place would be fine for people in their 70s or 80s who just want a quiet place to sit, but for anyone younger who expects comfort, cleanliness, and a nice experience — I do not recommend this hotel at all. It’s a waste of money.

Really beautiful and clean rooms. I stayed here when on a work trip. Multiple places to eat. Room service and valet available. I don't gamble but the casino floor looked well run. The only complaint is there is a smoking section in the casino and that smell travels throughout the entire floor. No smoking in or near the hotel rooms though. No children allowed. Nice pool.

Mt. Airy casino was kind to me during my visit. Had the buffet with some other family members and we really enjoyed it. Baked and fried fish, shrimp, excellent soup, fried chicken that was nice and moist. Peanut butter cake and ice cream for desert. Had so much can't remember everything. Dinner buffet was 40 dollars a person. I would encourage everyone to give it a try. Next stop was the casino floor. Soon as I walked out of the buffet I found an older quick hits machine that was screaming at me to play it. Played for an hour and walked away 300 dollars up! Of course I lost all of it by the end of the night. Had a great time and broke even.

We did a one night stay at this property and it's supposed to be an adult only casino... There's no entertainment for adults, no night clubs and the joke of what they call entertainment is setting up a few plastic cubes by the poker bar and have two people singing that you can barely hear. This place is filled with cigarette and marijuana smokers, my wife and I had to wear a mask. Totally disgusting. I would never recommend this place to anyone and do not plan on ever going back. Tom

I did not stay in the hotel, but the casino was one of the worst I have ever seen. First, the air quality is beyond poor, if you're a non smoker who values your lungs, this is not thr place for you. They have a no smoking section, but you would never know it, thr ventilation system is inadequate. Many machines are not just old but damaged. Card slot and entry keys not working on 75% of machines I played. Really couldn't review much as my lungs were irritated and my clothes smelled like smoke. Will never go there again

I’ve lived in Scranton for around 1 year, but this is my first time visiting this park. This public park is very spacious, with a beautiful waterfall, and it’s a perfect place to visit during the fall foliage season. I brought my cat for a walk — there are so many squirrels here, and my cat was so happy watching them run around.

I was a first-time visitor to Nay Aug Park on Wednesday June 11, 2025. There is something for everybody in this city-owned public space. The day I was visiting there was a health fair being presented and I picked up some valuable information. The trails leading to the water seemed very treacherous to me. Maybe there is an easy trail but I did not find it. Check out the cool tree house platform. Apparently at this time of year the foliage obscures the water from the tree house. Apparently there is a parking lot on location reserved for hospital staff.

Small but very nice. A lot of people swimming in the summertime peacefully, but dangerous cliff jumping. Cops were in the parking lot when we left, probably for the large groups of young people cliff jumping into the deep water by the waterfall

Beautiful place to take a walk or a hike. Be careful in some areas, as the last major storm caused some of the paths to get washed out. Wear good shoes and you'll be able to get around well. Don't forget to check out the coffee shop near the hospital, Blackwatch Coffee. Excellent coffee, cute little bistro/cafe as they also sell breakfast and lunch items. Would go back to try their specialty "monthly" coffee selections.

Love visiting here when back in Scranton. Hikes can be difficult with how steep things are and a lot of uneven ground, wet leaves etc. There are some paved paths but still pretty steep if physically compromised or not in fair health. We had some older people in our group and were able to navigate the terrain, though moderately challenging, with some caution. The scenic views are worth the trek.

This area is beautiful for walking. We parked at the end of Mulberry Street and followed the trails to the bridge, overlook, and falls. It's a great spot to spend some time in nature.

Easy to access via bus, jump off at Geisinger. If you can catch the mine tour, it's well worth it. Plenty of hiking trails and picnic areas. There's gazebos and usually decent parking. Don't miss the treehouse overlook!

Amazing Place to visit while in Scranton PA! Very kid friendly, and interesting for the whole family. You can pay for a ticket to ride their trolley and train ride, which explains the history of the area. There is also the turntable + roundhouse museum, which houses lots of relics and trains, all of which is free to see. Overall an amazing place to stop by whenever you have free time, plus it's a short walk over the bridge to the Steamtown Marketplace & Trolly Museum!

This is another wow, wow, wow moment. Had no idea stopping to check Scanton PA out was going to yield this awesome find. This place was loaded with all kinds of history. Obviously you have to be a person interested in history to appreciate this kind of site. But how could you not be? This may be the best preserved site in America dedicated to the railroad, and steam engine. I'm so glad that this is somehow funded for our citizens to be able to enjoy. It's so cool to see the kids be in awe of these trains. I know growing up, I was interested in trains as well.

This is a very big site with plenty to see. It's pretty confusing to know where to go. I went to the trolley museum and steam town. There's is actually another museum called the technology museum by steam also that I think is work checking out. It's very interesting seeing the history of the rail system and how Scranton became known as the electric city. There are guided tours that take about an hour and brings you to where they work on restoration of different trains.

Even if you're in Scranton for the Office, make sure you go here! I found out they had one of the 8 remaining Big Boy trains and had to stop by. It's out in the parking lot and is beautifully restored. The museum is free. Staff are all friendly. There's easily a half day of stuff to see, but you could easily spend a full day here. Lots of beautiful trains and very thorough and informative walk through exhibits. I ran out of time and didn't have a chance to walk on the walkway above the rail yard, or go to the electric trolley museum. You will not be disappointed!

Couldn't get in due to Federal Shutdown, but posting a few details re parking etc. Large free of charge car park is shared with the Trolley Museum. There are signs for RV and Van parking too. Plenty of blue badge parking spaces. There are many picnic tables and benches, some under cover around the car park. Some locos around the car park Hope to return one day and go inside.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We happened to stumble thru right before their tour! Nick and Bill were very informative and fun! We even got to see some of the workers and behind the scenes stuff! I still can't believe the tour was free! A wonderful must -stop if you're in the area!

We visited early morning on a Saturday in late June 2025. We got there just a few minutes before opening since we were staying at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. Amazing hotel to stay in if you're in town for the Steamtown National Historic Site. It was a converted old train station. There is a giant parking lot and you can kind of look around at the trains in the parking lot and in front of the visitor center while you wait for them to open. The ticket and information center is right at the front when you walk in. We picked up maps, junior ranger books and purchased our train tickets for the 10:30AM ride/tour. Sadly the Locomotive Shop Tour started at 11AM and there wasn't another one until 2PM. The train tour returned at 11:15AM so we wouldn't make it in time and we had a tightly packed itinerary for the day. Next we walked to the left where the Bookstore museum shop is. It's in adjacent building to the Oil House. It's actually a fairly nice sized store with a bunch of neat stuff. This is also where the NPS Passport Cancellation Stamps are for this site. They are right behind the counter and there are 2 stamps. We dropped all the stuff off at the car and went into the first building (Visitor Center). We went through it pretty quite because we noticed that they had a handcar Experience from 10-11AM and a line was starting to form. Never tried a handcar before and it was much harder to get started than you think. Momentum is your friend though. The ranger let all 5 of us get on. 2 on each handle and one opposite of him on the cart. You go out maybe 50 feet, stop and then turn around to go back. It was a lot of fun. By the time we were done we went through the Technology museum to the other side where the train ride/tour was. We had to go fast to get in line since they are not assigned seats and first come first serve. We wanted to make sure we got seats next to each other. We were the second group in line. We decided to sit in the way back. There are 2 passenger cars next to each other and they are not the same. They do have rangers/staff on both trains as you're going. They were very strict about staying in your seat while the train was moving and there were a few kids on our train that the rangers/staff kept having to remind. Conductor will come by and punch your ticket as well. It's pretty cool because the hole punch is the shape of a train. The train doesn't go too far before it stops and turns around to head back to the station. it was a fun experience and for $6 per person it wasn't too bad. I think 5 and under were free. It was also a pretty full train. Not sure if it was sold out or what. After we got off the train at the same place we got on the train, we continued round around the circle into the Roundhouse. Here there were a ton of parked trains with signs and you walk on like a high up platform to see them all. You can't really get super close to them unfortunately. The locomotive shop is also attached to this section of the building and where you would go if you had purchased that particular tour option. We continued lastly into the History Museum portion and looked around a bit. This was the portion we walked through the fastest honestly. Kids weren't too interested in the history. They liked the technology and seeing the trains more. The last building we came across was the theater but it was closed for renovations or something during our visit. So we were not able to watch the park film. I'm sure if we were able to watch the film, the kids would've been more interested in the history aspect. Kids finished their Junior Ranger Booklets and we turned them back in at the front Ticket and Information Center and they got their badges. We ran into museum shop to get them stamped and then we were off to our next stop for the day. Overall it was a great experience and we packed a lot in for just under 2 hrs. Since we had to run through everything so quickly we would 100% come back in the future. Take more time in the museums and also do the other tour. Maybe the theater will be reopened.

Had a great time. Went down the 1000 ft. line since the 4000 ft. line was not operating. The mountain slide was okay. You too Groupon off you want a deal on tickets.

Will never stay here again. Booked a room with a balcony, got a patio on the first floor looking at a brick retaining wall and electrical boxes. When asked, was told it could be a balcony or patio. Can't seem to find that disclaimer anywhere. But the best part was the mold in the room. I have COPD and couldn't under why my lungs felt bad. Didn't notice the mold until the morning we checked out. When I mentioned it to the front desk, her response was I'll call maintenance. No apology, no discount. NOTHING. OH, and let's not forget the late night text, after midnight, regarding our valet parked truck. Came in and nobody at the valet desk. Gave key to the front desk but apparently that wasn't communicated to the correct person. Hence the text, claiming an issue with our vehicle. My husband, in a panic, heads to the desk at 6am to find out everything was fine. How about a text saying that. Plus, they don't answer the phone when you call the front desk. Wish I could share the mold pictures...and our shitty patio view.

I was there last weekend, a very large ski resort, it has everything, a variety of parking from $12, which is a little far, to $35, which is right at the entrance, lots of very nice staff, always providing excellent service with a smile, the guests on site were also very nice, everyone helps if someone falls. We were there on the last weekend of the season, so there were only 3 lifts, but the variety of trails is wide for all levels, ages, etc., I will definitely go back there next year, there is a bar and restaurant inside the site (a sports bar like that) it was amazing, great prices and good quality! In conclusion: it is suitable for all types of people, young people, couples, families, etc. A very interesting place worth trying!

Oh all the staff are so friendly and helpful!!! So absolutely amazing!! They had activities for the kids too! One night was a magic night with a magician! Then they had arts and crafts and last but not least a person who came to talk about snakes and actually brought live snakes!!! Amazing! All of the staff super awesome to the kiddos and just wow!!!

I should have read the reviews beforehand, as all the negative feedback turned out to be true. I’ve never been to a ski resort where I had to pay for parking, and the prices were outrageous: $45 or $50 for premium parking. To make matters worse, I later discovered a hidden/further $12 general parking lot which was not offered from the beginning. Buying tickets online is cheaper than in person, but the process of creating an account is unnecessarily complicated—be prepared for the hassle. Costs were steep across the board: $120 for the lift ticket, $70 for rentals, $50 for parking, and $25 for food/drinks. The resort’s operations were disappointing. Only 1 out of 2 magic carpets was working, and several lifts were down, creating long lines with no staff to manage the flow where two lines merged into one. Seating areas were scarce, both for resting or simply leaving your gear while entering bars or restaurants. The slopes were fantastic in the morning but became dangerously icy in the afternoon. The only positive thing was that the employees help with putting on your boot rentals. While the resort is large and can accommodate a lot of people, it leads to overcrowding, making it difficult and unsafe to navigate the slopes with so many people falling. For the price, the comfort and experience do not match the cost.

We had a great time snowboarding at camelback. It’s about 2 hours from the city and 20-30 minutes from the Poconos. We went on Saturday and was pretty busy - as expected. But the rental section was very organized and efficient. The prices do go up closer the the date , so I recommend buying your tickets in advance ! The lift lines were about 10-15 minutes wait time. trails were well groomed but got icy towards the late afternoon. Really cool lodge on top of the mountain with nice views , good food & drinks. There’s even live music in the main lodge at night.

Nice park. Everything was chill and smooth. Rides were good and my kids enjoyed everything. The only thing that was a big problem was the fact that my wife and I waited in line for more than an hour to order food at the bar for our kids. It was really annoying watch 1 person try to service the bar and the guests ordering food. She handled everything professionally and quickly but it's sad that she had no help.

I'm so disappointed. I went with my husband and 2 kids we went because my son wanted to go for his bday which is 9/3 which clearly they are closed which is understandable this is why we went on 8/31 we got there early so we didn't have any issues with waiting on long lines . If you ask me the price for parking is absolutely insane $12 to park far away $35 if you want " mid " way and $40 dollars of you just wanna walk up about 15 or so steps 🤦 so before we even enter the park we are already paying $40 for parking . Then we purchased 4 day passes which was about a hundred and 40 something I believe my husband said . Anywho so the temperature showed it was about 69 going up to 73 I believe so yes the sun was shining and hiding because it kept coming in and out . So first we walked over to the lazy river 🥶🥶🥶🥶 omg that water was absolutely freezing cold I don't know how people were even in the water freezing there behinds but I just couldn't it's a " Lazy River " not a frozen riven you are supposed to go in and just relax . Alot of life guards had on sweaters everywhere you looked there were people wrapped with towels because it was so 🥶🥶🥶🥶 you just couldn't enjoy the water . Then we walked over to the Olympic pool we walked in and pretty much wet our legs because it was so cold you couldn't even swin and enjoy it . Then we tried the wave pool 🤦🤦🥶🥶🥶🥶 another area of water that had freezing cold water . Which completely sucks because you pay money to go to a water park you figured the water would be enjoyable but nope that's not the experience we had . So while I was shivering on a beach chair wrapped in my towel I decide to call guest services to see if anything could be done . So I explained how we paid money to park and enter the park and we aren't able to enjoy ourselves because everything is extremely cold is there some type of compensation we can receive maybe some type of discount to return next summer but I simply got told NO ! once your ticket is scanned there really isn't much that can be done . So I told the guy so basically we spent almost $200 to come in and just touch cold water he's like a there's nothing we can do . And don't get me started on the price of the snacks in there 🤦 talk about highway robbery a bag of m&m was $6.00 freaking bucks for a regular small bag a small bag of chips was like $5.00 bucks 🤦 a small drink from the fountain machine was $2.50 smh . It really sucks that we went and drove 2 hours to come and enjoy this park and that's the last thing we did because the water was way to cold to enjoy . So that is why I'm only leaving 1 start because we were extremely disappointed and my son did not get to enjoy his bday after we traveled for about 2 hours . So we came back home disappointed.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Rides are well-maintained. Parking seems a bit on the expensive side ($12, $30 or $40), but whatever. Great variety of food stands.

Great outdoor water park. The kids loved it. I highly recommend renting a cabana for the day as it used it to take a break and get lunch and to rest in between all the rides.

It is great that they are doing Fireworks Fridays this Summer! Open to the Public at 7:30pm and typically piared with some kind of entertainment leading up to the Fireworks. Enjoy some Rita's, Beer, and food and have.an enjoyable evening with the family.

This place is crowded like crazy on Sundays. DO NOT GO! Price is cheap but that makes the crowd VERY HUGE. Line is about 1hr wait so we bought the $30 express pass. BUT! Express lane has the same lane as the normal lane, we had to ask people to move away to go through the line. PEOPLE LITERALLY THOUGHT WE WERE CUTTING THE LINE and they were mad. We had to explain. And it’s frustrating and embarrassing. Aside from that, the slides were fun. Side note: I would suggest going to other water parks, unless you want to save money.

This a review ONLY for the free RV parking. After you turn off 315 you need to drive all the way back to Lot E where the website says RVs can park. A sign points left to a gravel lot but and others went into Lot E and parked on pavement with the big trucks. You able to use your levels, generator, and slides. There is plenty of room. We parked in the long lanes painted for big rigs. There are no amenities so it is dry camping. It was quiet. AT&T cell service was excellent. Over the air TV was available. There is a covered shuttle stop in the Lot if you want to go to the casino for meals or gambling. We did not use it or go into the casino. There are grassy areas for dog walking and a body of water across the street behind the trees. We would certainly stop here for a free night.

Was there 10/25 and 10/26/25. The room was great, and cleaned very well. Played at the Casino and a wide range of slots to choose from. Not once did we have to wait to get drinks, those gals were amazing. We ate at 2 different places and both were amazing, and the prices very affordable. Check in and out was a breeze. Will definitely go back. As for the comedy show...not so my style. Meeting table and chairs. A different set up would be needed. SA

We didnt stay at the hotel just visited. Casino was clean, looked like lots of good food options. Also the toilet cover thing was neat, i've never seen that! The track was nice but it was a HOT day and there wasn't a lot of shade outside. People were smoking inside so not comfortable in there.

Had a was wonderful time. Food at Ruth Chris was a fantastic meal. We ate at Johnny Rockets. Very inexpensive and delicious. Lots of cocktail waitresses on the cassino floor. Our room was super clean and lovely.

So Smokey from the front entrance and throughout the casino. My wife and I felt the level of fresh air ventilation was poor. We couldn't escape the smoke! We Visited on Monday, November 17th. Many food options were closed also. No Bubble Craps!! If you're not a smoker....Stay Away!!!

Not a 4 star hotel…… more like a 3. Come ready to make your own bed and ask for more towels and other essentials or bring your own if you need them. And make sure you bring your tablet with your own shows properly downloaded for streaming. The streaming service does not work at all…. And the worst part is that after you try to make it work for 10 times and you call the front desk they will tell you….. oh… I don’t know why they still have that because it does not work!

I stayed at Mohegan Pennsylvania for a weekend and the security checkpoint was extremely inconsistent and unfavorable treatment based on sex toward males. The first day my wife and I were able to walk in and out without being stopped. The second day in the AM we were carded and had a picture taken which is not a big deal. Later that night upon walking in I was told I had to get in line which is not a big deal until my wife who was directly in front of me was told she was good to walk in and I was told to wait in line. I asked security about the requirements on enter being able to walk right in and wasn't given an answer. Then, while in line I overheard security tell someone that if you look under 40 that you have to wait in line. I also repeatedly saw women in their 20s being able to walk right in. The line was full of males waiting to enter the casino.

I have been coming to Split Rock for over 20 years prior to moving to West Virginia 5 years ago. I was excited to see that they remodeled the rooms when I booked a trip. The reception was very nice but it went downhill from there. I was told that the elevator was down and would have to carry everything to the 3rd floor. I asked about plates and glasses not being in the kitchen (my friend arrived earlier and gave me a heads up). The receptionist explained that the weekend folks kept breaking them so it’s only available for timeshare owners. Ok, I get it. After lugging my suitcase up 3 flights of steps I open our room to see a windowless box with minimal air conditioning and the most uncomfortable living room I’ve ever experienced. Think straight-backed church pews with cushions. The beds were comfortable and the resort beautiful, but I will never come back again.

My friend and I booked a stay at the resort July 10 through the 17th 2025. It was her birthday and I wanted to surprise her. The surprise was on us when we got there and got a room. The room was so bad that when we asked for maintenance, there was no maintenance people on site so we had to clean a defrosting refrigerator. It was ice and water all over the refrigerator when we opened the refrigerator. Water was falling on the floor when we went to clean the refrigerator. The sink was so dirty. It was a silver sink that turned brown. We had to clean that the countertop the stove it was a mess then we find out we have no cable. Went to the desk to complain about everything there was nobody that could help us because there was no maintenance on site. The place was like a ghost town and in the rooms was dirty couldn’t get no linen. It was real bad. we wind up leaving two days early. That’s how bad it was. We didn’t get maintenance for the TVs for three days. So for you who have a membership or is looking to buy a membership from split rock don’t. They didn’t want to reimburse me nothing I couldn’t get no help from managers because the managers was barely on site. If they weren’t on site they was in a meeting they busy so therefore you couldn’t get any help from nobody, bad situation all the way around. So my warning to you, if you’re looking to buy into a resort, do not buy into split rock it’s the worst.

Resort had many errors upon arrival. I left a vape behind in which I have no problem picking up. Phone numbers don’t work. They randomly hang up on me. Can’t speak to anyone about the matter. No heat, fridge was damaged, no breakfast accommodations for the amount that was paid. Definitely was not worth my stay. I’m hoping my friend had a great birthday. But I felt it could have been better. Customers service is very poor. I called 2 different types of numbers to try and speak to someone about my property being returned but I can even get ahold of someone online. Customer service is disgusting. They aren’t helpful rather the complete opposite. Very unethical and incompetent. They don’t care about their customers. They have a nasty attitude. Do not waste your money in going here. Absolutely appalling and waste of money. Nothing enjoyable about this resort at all.

All the staff we interacted with were wonderful. Size of the time share rooms (2 bedroom ) were amazing. Building 6 rooms 3119 A/B. Rooms themselves, as you know are outdated. Clean, but outdated. New couches are desperately needed simply for comfort. They were incredibly firm and uncomfortable. We had a good stay all in all and the place would be amazing if remodeled. We really booked it for its proximity to Jim Thorpe and surrounding area.

I was extreme dissatisfied with my recent stay at Split Rock Poconos, Willowbrook. While I appreciate that the staff were friendly and helpful and that the breakfast buffet and service were excellent, the overall condition of the resort and accommodations was unacceptable. When we arrived at the building, I immediately noticed several issues: * The exterior was extremely dirty, with visible grime and algae, and the overhang was missing its aluminum covering. * Inside, there was a strong sewage odor and heavily stained carpeting throughout the halls. * Our unit contained bugs on the walls and ceiling, dirty and outdated appliances, and visible dirt on the bed. One wall even had a hole in it. * The in-room phone did not work. We were then moved to Building 6. Although the exterior appeared slightly cleaner, the overall condition was still disappointing. The entryway smelled unpleasant, lighting throughout was dim, and the furniture appeared decades old. The hallway carpets were stained, and trash was present on the floor. In our unit, the appliances and handles were grimy, the dining chairs were stained. The bathroom was poorly lit and visibly unclean, with stained fixtures and a damaged electrical socket that appeared to be burned—posing a potential safety hazard. The resort’s main recreational area was also in disrepair. Several bowling lanes were out of order, seats were ripped and dirty, and buckets had been placed to catch water leaking from the ceiling. These conditions made the amenities unusable.

I Love all the activities there are at split rock resort. I really enjoy the arcade and bowling alley. Me and my bf come every October for my birthday and we always have a great week here with everything there is to do here. A special shout out to Luis and Gerald for being amazing workers and always answering questions we have or if a machine is giving us issues they are there to help.

I was honestly prepared for the worst vacation spot of my life judging from the most recent reviews but we were happy with our little stay at Split Rock. Only the Town Center had the water problems and you can see by my photos that the staff had water out for people to drink there. The reception staff was so so nice and gave us a room at The Lodge and the water there comes from a different source per the staff. I brought my two young kids and they did not mind that the resort is in need of superficial updates and some tlc - they had a blast at the arcade and the water park and in the room which had a great view! The activities and bones are charming but it does need updating.

We dropped by for a period of about 2 hours on a slightly rainy Wednesday in May, and it was awesome. I suspect it would have been a lot busier in better weather, but we had the place almost all to ourselves. Great trails, beautiful, and I mean BEAUTIFUL spots around the 'Tubs loop'. I wish we had a whole afternoon to enjoy it. As I said, I imagine this place is incredibly busy in nice weather, and it may take away from the experience, but for us, it was perfect. Absolutely free. Bathrooms are one step above an outhouse, but were clean. Hardly any garbage to speak of, and we picked up what little we saw. Well worth going to. 5/5...

This place was worth it quick easy walk to the main attraction areas. We went first thing in the morning before anyone was in the springs. The water was crystal clear and warm we visited in hot August. Super cute. We took a lot of wonderful pictures and enjoyed about an hour or so here.

Beautiful park to visit. Water level was very low in the 2nd weekend of October 2025 but still gorgeous for photos and relaxing near the water. Not wheelchair accessible. Would be slippery if snowing or raining. Multiple trails for hiking. Clean bathrooms. Two parking areas that hold about 20 cars each.

Absolutely amazing walk. It took us about 1h 30 to do the full walk. Plenty of bugs so bring bug spray. Also good hiking boots might be worth bringing also as it had just rained and the surface was slippy. I would recommend this area. Very nice indeed.

Seven Tubs Nature Area is a hidden gem in Pennsylvania. The glacial rock formations and waterfalls are absolutely beautiful, and the trails are peaceful and well-marked. I had a great experience—perfect for a quick nature escape or a longer hike if you want to explore deeper into the woods. Highly recommend going early for the best views and fewer crowds.

Seven Tubs is a very cool area to explore, it was extra beautiful with all the fall foliage. Can't wait to go back and explore more! If you are near the area I would recommend checking this area out.

Really cool spot if you like to hike. Definitely wear proper footwear. Lots of uneven / rough trails. We had a great time, except when I fell & almost slid down waterfall into the creek at the bottom 😂 We did 2.8 miles total out & back following the markers.

The park offers a lot to do, is mostly dog friendly, and the campground is ok. The hikes to the waterfalls were lovely even in the rain. The Boulder Field was fun and unique but be prepared for a long drive on a dirt road with lots of potholes to get there. The swimming lake was nice and lots of area to swim. I especially liked that it was smoke-free. There’s three divided large swimming sections. A cute lil goose family was swimming along with us humans. No dogs on the beach, but there’s grass and trees nearby where I stayed with my dog. Of course there’s people that don’t listen and bring their dog on the beach and hike with their dog off leash, which is disappointing. The food is over priced by the pool and only one person works there and she’s slow and unable to multi-task. I think I waited 15 minutes for my ice cream with only one person in front of me who also just ordered one ice cream. The soft serve was very delicious and worth it! If you want to tent camp, sites 302, 304, 306, 308, 310, 312, and 314 are the nicest and most secluded. Sites 298, 299, and 301 are right by the busy road. A lot of the other sites are hit or miss: small, too close together, no shade, muddy, etc. The campground appears a bit neglected with tall grass, damaged trees, falling apart picnic tables, and lots of closed sites. The water didn’t work by my site and there’s no running water in the bathroom, just a port a potty type toilet. If u need to shower you must drive to the other campground. The camp store is small but very well-stocked with anything you might need. But beware, they sold me firewood that was wet and fresh and did not burn well. People have zero respect for quiet hours, but I complained to the park ranger and the next night and morning it was so quiet, the rangers do a great job! Alcohol is not permitted in the park or campground, but again, people didn’t listen to that either. The new visitor center is very nice. They did close at least an hour early on Saturday night. They warned everyone about bears in the area and were great with advice but I didn’t see any.

A large state park with beautiful nature surrounding it and spacious areas recreation. They have picking areas, a seasonal swimming area, a fishing lake, and of course the boulder field plus so much more. Could spend multiple days exploring the great out doors here.

Had a wonderful time visiting Hickory Run State Park—just about a two-hour drive with beautiful, scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, the staff at the visitor center were kind and helpful, guiding us toward Hawk Falls and the Boulder Field. The center itself was clean, well-maintained, and even had EV chargers available. Hiking to Hawk Falls was a moderate trek. The path down was mostly downhill with uneven terrain, so it required careful footing. The return hike was uphill and a good reminder to pace yourself, but it was worth it. The rocks near the falls were large and easy to walk across, making for some amazing photo opportunities. The Boulder Field was a short drive away, first on the highway and then along a bumpy dirt road. Once there, informational signs explained how the field was formed during the Ice Age. Climbing across the massive rocks was both fun and challenging—definitely keep your hands free for balance in case a boulder shifts. Overall, it was a fantastic first visit. I’m already looking forward to returning for more hiking and to explore the park’s camping options.

We loved Hickory Run State Park especially the visitor center. Could use some better trail maps and trail signage but we had a great time so much more than boulder field

One of the most amazing state parks I've been into. BEAWARE : There is no network once you come here so please download offline version of google maps before coming here. The information center is pretty good with clean washrooms and a bunch of maps. Staff was helpful with our questions. We did Trail A- Beach Trail which was 0.5 and was very easy with no elevation. Later we did Trail T- Shades of Death trail which was marked as most difficult. But for me who has NO hiking and NO Gymminng experience I found it to be easy. Takes about 1 hour out-and-back. The boulder field is 15mins drive from the information center. The road is not paved and it sometimes is very narrow for 2 way traffic. So be careful and drive slow. Sometimes this road is one-way only which is a lot easier. The boulder field is fascinating but take care of your belongings - especially your cellphone because it may fall down in between the rocks. Some rocks move while be step on them so it's necessary to balance properly. We enjoyed this state park a lot.

Lovely state park with tons of hiking trails and lovely scenery!! Went on the shades of Death trail. Suggest bringing appropriate foot ware with you as some trails are a little sketchy, a lot of roots from the trees, and small walkways on some parts. Just use caution when in those areas, but it's worth the hike.

Came on Memorial Day to camp, goo's choice...beat the weekend crowd. A lot of pretty sites. 2 loops are electric, one loop has some 3 ways. Restrooms are clean. But only one Restroom/Shower house for 2 loops. I think it would be a little crowded on a weekend or holidays. Nice beach area and plenty of hiking.

1st time I camped here I had am amazing experience but the 2nd time I had a bad experience so im giving this place 2 and half star. We rented Camp group site C for and bought firewood and charcoal and used there BBQ grill. I spent totel of about 1000$ for a 1 night camping experience. For a large group. First off, The view was amazing. ( could of been better) The service at the front office is amazing. The camp ground workers are horrible and lazy. The security and camp ground police are amazing and respectful. I felt very safe. Things that PISSED ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right in front of the camp tents are 2 giant trailers ruining the entire view. I asked the camp ground workers to move it and they said no because they cant move them. So now I paid 700 bucks to stare at trailers all day long when I could of stared at the mountain and nature. Also when we were playing infront of the tents, we had to crawl under the trailers to get the ball and Frisbee. It was annoying to deal with. They could of parked it anywhere else. Even 15 feet to the left and it would of made the world of a difference. The portable bathroom that they had near the site was extremely Dirty!!!!!! You can tell no one cleaned it in weeks. No toilet paper and pee everywhere. We just drove to the base of the camp to use the bathrooms at the office. The ziplining and rope course and summer adventure stuff opens at 10 and close at 4!!!!! Which means after we checked in at 3pm we couldn't even do the activities except for taking the lift up the mountain. This place is designed for people who go camping for multiple days. Not good for camping 1 night!!!!! The garbage bins were clean and the campfires were nice and organized. The grass was cut good. The tents were beautiful. Showers were clean. The parking lot is spacious. The view from the Summit was amazing. The stargazing at night was breathtaking. Overall I was going to give it 2 stars but because I had a good experience the first time I gave it 2 and half stars. The camp ground workers ruined the experience for us. I wish I could of went to another camping resort and tried other place instead of this place.

Nice atmosphere, our waiter, Conner was excellent and friendly. He was great. The food was at best, mediocre. It was our first visit and will return in the hopes that the menu items will improve. Cocktails were also excellent.

Great experience. They let you pick your own Tent site if you are early enough and it isn’t crowded. I definitely recommend camping here. I also tried the restaurant out and it was really amazing and fairly priced.

Blue Mountain Resort is a fantastic winter destination with plenty of activities for all ages. The skiing and snowboarding trails are well-groomed, offering options for beginners and experienced riders alike. The lifts are efficient, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our visit was the tubing area. There are three hills dedicated to tubing, and unlike many other resorts, they were not crowded at all. This meant little to no wait time, allowing us to go down the slopes multiple times without long lines. The runs were fast and exciting, making it a perfect activity for families and groups looking for some winter fun.

We came here for mountain biking race. The event was well organized. It was different to see it in the Fall. My family used to come here in winters and skied so many times that it has a dear spot in my heart. Now we have another reason to visit it!

I went to a wedding there on May 25th 2025 and it was hands down one of the best venues I've ever been to. Gorgeous views and a beautiful lodge. Staff was great as well

I recently took the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway train trip out of Jim Thorpe, PA, and it was such a pleasant experience! The ride takes you through some absolutely beautiful scenery along the Lehigh River and deep into the Pocono Mountains. The fall foliage made it even more breathtaking — it’s the perfect time of year to go if you love the colors of autumn. Get there early if you're visiting during peak season — the town and the train was crowded, especially on weekends in the fall. There is no booking in advance option in this period! The train itself has a charming, old-fashioned feel, with both open-air and enclosed cars. The ride lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, and it’s just the right length — long enough to enjoy but not so long that it drags. The narration over the speakers gave us a bit of history about the region and the old railroad line, which added a nice touch without being too intrusive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and boarding was smooth and well organized. Jim Thorpe itself is a lovely little town, so it’s worth making a day of it — grab lunch, walk around the shops, and then hop on the train. Overall, the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway is a great, family-friendly experience that offers a peaceful way to enjoy some of Pennsylvania’s most scenic landscapes. Highly recommended!

Such a fun and memorable experience! The ride itself was beautiful — you can choose between open-air cars and enclosed cars with windows. The scenery through the gorge is stunning, especially in the fall. The car hosts were super friendly and pointed out interesting landmarks along the way so we could get great photos. My two toddlers loved it! We went on a Tuesday in late October and were able to buy tickets on-site. Arriving about 20 minutes before departure was plenty of time to get tickets, and board comfortably. Definitely worth doing if you’re visiting Jim Thorpe!

This train is beautiful, vintage decor, great service, beautiful views. It isn't a long ride, which I was fine with, I paid about $75 pp which included a small breakfast of sausage, egg, fruit and mimosa/coffee. It was just ok for me, my husband was happy to finish his and mine. We enjoyed this very much and highly recommend it.

Scenic train ride offered for all 4 seasons including holiday themed rides - highly recommended! Definitely suggest arriving early as tickets for certain rides are first come first serve. I also recommend trying to sit on the right side of the train as the left side you'll mainly see the mountain side. Also dress for the weather because, at least on my visit, the train cars are not climate controlled.

This was a fantastic fall experience. The town and the train ride were an amazing end-of-fall must-do. The town itself was lovely and had plenty to do. I recommend bringing a blanket if you’re visiting late fall with little ones. The prices vary depending on your seat, ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 for adults and $9.00 to $10.00 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the train booth, not online. The train ride is 45 minutes.

Beautiful views. Have been 4 times in the last Couple years. Only improvements I could suggest is adding more comforts and heating to the open air cabin, and having the docents be more informed to be able to answer questions. We asked the one in our car about something In the area that the voiceover presentation had mentioned but he knew nothing.

A cute experience to enjoy while visiting Jim Thorpe. We arrived just in time to jump on their noon time ride on a November week day. There were plenty of tickets available for the later rides as well. The track you go on isn’t the most exciting or scenic, but it was fun to take a ride on the train. The best part was the narrator and train staff. They did a great job telling stories and keeping people engaged.

A beautiful state park and campground. We stayed in the updated loop with full hookups. The sites were spacious and fairly level. The campground offers hiking (the Falls Trail being the most popular), lake activities, and a beach. There currently is a bear visiting the campground but if you take the normal precautions you’ll be fine. If you come from the south, you are faced with a posted 18% grade incline and the opposite if you head south from the park. Logging trucks do use the road so expect some slow traffic when they’re on the hill. The Red Rock Corner store has ice, firewood, a deli, and necessities. Bear Fuel is always near by with gas and diesel. They are both down the hill on Rt 118.

A wonderful park. Very beautiful, especially in the fall. Highly recommend coming to just walk the beach trail for a more casual stroll in nature. There is also a day use area with picnic facilities and a beach. Various hiking trails are around to acess the park's many waterfalls. Adams Falls is one of the waterfalls and is one that can be accessed from a small rocky climb/hike. Somw trails close in the winter for safety due to the nature of the hikes so make sure to plan accordingly and come in a good season for hiking if you plan to do the falls trail. The beach trail is generally easier and is just a nice walk around the woods and lake. You won't see any water falls on that trail but it gives year round access to the park and is easier for those not looking for a big hike. The beach is open in the summer to swimming but closes the rest of the year. You can still lake along the beach trail but not enter the water. There was a volleyball net up on the beach the day I went. I don't remember seeing that as a recreation activity on the park site so it was a nice surprise. There is also camping (tent, rv, and cabin) but I didn't stay so I can't speak for the camping but still it's nice to note that it is a great option for those wanting to get away to nature. Boats are allowed on the lake and access is provided.

Beautiful hike. Waterfalls all pretty close to each other. You don't have to walk too far before seeing one. I managed to walk the trail in my long boots without any grips without issues, but it was mainly dry and I found both trails fairly easy (but I'm fairly healthy). I'd always recommend proper walking shoes tho for safety. Parking was free. Couldn't see any meters. Both TOILETS are DISGUSTINGLY filthy. "Swarms of flies" circling the toilet bowl. That tells you how bad it is!! Doesn't look like it's been cleaned in 6 months.

This is the best hike I’ve been to! I’ve been here twice already and all of the nature is so beautiful that you just don’t want to leave (P.S. there’s no service here so plan accordingly). This hike is for the moderately experienced, I don’t want to scare anyone away but at some point the rock stairs you have to climb/descend get exhausting and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights. Also make sure your shoes are grippy so you stay grounded. I’d even recommend bringing some hiking sticks, trekking poles, whatever you want to call them, just to get some more stability. I would say it’s pretty safe here people wise, everyone I passed on my hike was very friendly and just going about their own business.

Clean camping site right by the lake, I heard coyotes howling through the night and the stars are ABUNDANT! Vibe check passed. Was my first time camping like this and I had no issues. The bathrooms are clean and warm, would absolutely come here again

Ricketts Glen is an absolute gem of a park, and its reputation for a stunning Falls Trail is completely deserved. The hike itself is a breathtaking journey through a fairytale forest, with the rewarding sight and sound of dozens of waterfalls around every turn. The trail, while challenging and a good workout, is well-maintained and provides a true sense of accomplishment. The towering, 94-foot Ganoga Falls is a highlight, but every single cascade has its own unique charm. The park offers so much more than just the falls. The atmosphere is peaceful and secluded, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Lake Jean is a wonderful addition, with a clean beach for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding on its tranquil waters. The campground provides spacious and shaded sites, and the lack of cell service is a welcome reason to truly disconnect. Ricketts Glen is a perfect retreat for anyone seeking adventure, relaxation, and unparalleled natural beauty.

Never have I experience an amazing hike with so many waterfalls in one big hike. Talk about the level power it requires to handle this hike but the views, water, the amazing greenery mixed in. Even the drive getting there is worth it. But i recommend this is a summer to enjoy with friends & family.

We liked it. It was interesting. Parking is free and admission is cheap. I don't know if you can stick a wheelchair in the mine cart but I did see a person get a walker in one and use a walker in the mine. It's an interesting little tour. Tour takes about an hour. You meet your guide in the museum then you ride with a group on a mine cart or mine train maybe that's what it is. But you go into the mine everything is pretty flat and the guide will talk you through the exhibits. Outside of the mine they have the museum and a gift shop that sells souvenirs and snacks. They have bathrooms there and there are other exhibits on the grounds, old train cars and mine cars.

My husband I went on the mine tour 9/14/2025. Our tour guide was Daryl and he was amazing! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable he was also funny. He has so much information he wanted to share I wish we could have spent hours in the mine listening to him. He is a 5th generation coal miner. His first hand experience paired with the stories from all the generations before him made him the most perfect guide. I am already planning a return trip with the rest of our family. Thank you for such an amazing experience I will never forget.

Very cool experience. The guide is extremely knowledgeable. It is a serious look at the coal mining industry. There is an excellent museum and video presentation. You ride a coal train into an actual coal mine that is no longer in service. The trip take roughly one hour. It is well worth seeing and feeling what it was like in the cold damp earth. The tour and museum is one ticket.

If you visit the museum definitely plan it around the tour times since that was well worth it. The size of the tunnels are hard to image unless you are walking through them and the effort it took to create. Our tour guide was very know and made the tour very interesting.

This past July marked the first time since 2011 visiting the coal mine and my wife & kids' very first time here as well as PA in general. Browsed the museum & store but it was the train ride and mine tour with an informative narrative that made the experience even better. Come from the flatland (IL) we were visiting my dad's siblings in Tamaqua & Coaldale. Everyday in PA we did something different and was sure looking forward to this again. Now my 10-year-old son can go tell his homeroom teacher and his classmates at the start of 5th grade that he explored a coal mine along with a few other attractions in PA. For some ppl this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance and PA is rich in history. To all those who lost their lives while mining and trying to provide for your families, may you rest in peace.🇺🇲

What a fantastic and well preserved part of American history. This place illustrates the importance of the coal industry and tells the much forgotten dark truths about it like child labor, job danger, and low pay and practices that made many workers intentioned servants. Hour tours give a lot of information. Notes, it is cold and you may want a jacket but they provide some before entry. Also, wear good footwear and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. The floors are muddy and you will have water drip on you frequently.

Coal mine tour was a great time! Perfect spot to visit during the spooky season. Janet was a very knowledgeable tour guide.

Absolutely gorgeous space inside and out, delicious food and lovely wine! Our waiter was awesome and the new manager was super accommodating. The only reason it is not five stars is because we waited almost an hour and a half for the last of us to get our meals. Everyone else that was seated long after we were got their meals in a timely manner so I'm assuming it was just an off day and we will definitely be back to give it another try. All-in-all well worth our hour drive!

I love finding places like this, situated away from the urban areas. The scenery is fantastic, the building and grounds are amazing. There is a mixture of wine tasting groups/tours to dining. I'm not one to visit a place with no meat entrées, but the pasta dishes were satisfying and filling. Coffee drinks (cappuccino) needs to be stronger though. The bar also has liquor so wine isn't your only option. The waitress who served us was fantastic and friendly. Another spot to add to the rotation.

Every bite was seasoned to bold, flavorful perfection - the kind of meal that doesn’t just satisfy, it stays with you. I was already talking about our return trip before dessert even hit the table. Which was the Tiramisu - don’t skip out on it! Highly recommend making a reservation - this spot is popular for a reason. If you're looking to be swept away, glass in hand, plate full of magic - this is the place.

My husband and I had lunch here recently. It is fabulous! The scenery is beautiful and the service was incredible! I had the lasagna and it was by far, the best lasagna I have ever had! My husband had a sausage pizza and commented how excellent it was! The establishment is very clean! The patio is very nice snd peaceful and had a great acoustic singer who was very entertaining to watch. We had a great experience!

The atmosphere and my service were phenomenal! My server, Jack, was great, but I have never had an eggs Benedict that was served cold. It might’ve been on the menu as cold, but it took me by surprise. I would not have ordered it had I noticed , I did ask my server if it was meant to be cold and he said yes. I will return but, for sure order differently!

Our waitress, Lucy, was very sweet and accommodating for our friend who has a seafood allergy. I had the red wine grilled cheese, which was a delicious twist on a classic sandwich. We also all enjoyed the sangria of the month. apple cinnamon for September. My only complaint was the temperature inside the dining area was a little chilly. One of my other friends with us was also cold. We could not sit outside due to some passing showers.

Interesting spot, worth the visit. The guy at the door was a piece of work! He had an opinion about everything and was happy to share or shove his opinion on you whether you were interested or not. We had to walk away from him several times as he continued to follow us in the fron viewing room. Not a great ambassador for guests. Otherwise a very eclectic spot, dimly lit in some spots but a ton of very interesting stuff to look at. A little dusty, musty, and old.

Bill greeted us at the door! Lots to see here! If you like all types of collections, this is the place. You can definitely spend a whole day here checking out all the stuff.

Boy oh boy is there a lot to explore. We went for the bikes and my goodness is there cool stuff. But there's also weird stuff. There's an Avon room, a kitty room, a room of just hundreds of cylinder heads. Then there's the 'architecture'. There's a town in there. You can go up and down spiral staircases into rooms with lofts and back stairs and hallways and you could almost get lost.

Great place to kill some time, similar to Wheels though Time, but with a lot of, let's say collectibles. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The military 🪖 area was very nice, as well as the PD and FD displays.

Wow. Let me say this again - wow. Even as it's positioned as a bike museum, and indeed, there are literally hundreds of motorcycles and bicycles, it's pure Americana. There are countless collections of everything from dolls to phones, to police and firefighting memorabilia... Even windowsills and skylights are filled with memorabilia items. A must see for all ages!

I have visited Bill's at least a dozen times since 2012 This place is unbelievably amazing ! Every single time I go, i literally see thousands of new items It's a Must Go for the whole family Bill keeps history Alive

All I can say is "wow". If you're ever in the area and have a few hours to spare, it's definitely worth the stop.

Knoebels Amusement Resort is a wonderful, family owned Amusement Resort in Elysburg PA. There's fun to be had for the whole family. They have lots of classic rides, some of which are the last of their kind. They keep their rides in amazing working order. They have a great selection of roller coasters, and all are a blast to ride. Aside from rides, the park itself is wonderful. It's very clean, and the atmosphere is great. The food here is amazing too, and affordable. You can't miss the potato cakes. They are out of this world. Attractions at the park include mini golf and a beautiful swimming pool. This is a theme park you can't miss.

In the middle of nowhere central PA, Knoebels is an absolute gem of an independent, family owned and operated park. The free admission and parking, pay-per-ride system at Knoebels is totally genius, allowing non riders to still enjoy a day at the park with family or friends. The focus is on family or kiddie rides but there's plenty for adults too. The gorgeous, huge pool is a feature you don't see often at theme parks, and boy is it wonderful to take a dip on a hot day between rides and snacks. The whole park is BYO food and bev, yet there's also plenty of unique and affordably priced concessions. My favorite treats were Tiger Tails, potato pancakes and apple cider slushies. If you enjoy vintage rides like wooden coasters or historic carousels, this is the park for you! Phoenix is an absolute menace, you will be tossed around like a rag doll and exit the station laughing hysterically, only to run around to ride it again. The Flying Turns trackless bobsled style coaster is one of a kind and a wild, totally unique experience. I really love that they have a campground directly attached to the park so you can stay on site and easily come and go. No fast lane passes offered or needed, as operations here are smooth even on a busy weekday. Absolutely worth the trip to spend a day or two relaxing and soaking up summer fun at Knoebels. If you are a fan of Kennywood out in Pittsburgh, you'll definitely love Knoebels.

Had a fantastic first visit! So many rides for our one year old to ride and enjoy. The carousels are amazing! And the Coasters are top notch! You can clearly see the pride that the employees have for their work. Early each morning they are wiping all the benches, fixing the gravel, etc. no other amusement park takes this level of care and it shows!! We cannot wait to come back next may!

I'll preface with the fact that we went on a Monday. Plenty of parking to be had, the park was super clean and the pricing was very, very reasonable..(ride all day comes out to around $8 an hour if you stay open to close). We did not buy the all-day pass, because don't ride a lot and we went there for the pool mainly. The pool($9 to get in) and the locker area were both super clean and not as crowded as I expected, which was nice... I would recommend renting chairs for the day. Even though we didn't go on them, the slides looked fun! The fact that you can leave the pool to go out to the park and come back is really nice too. There are plenty of rides to be ridden for all ages, but the roller coasters were PHENOMENAL!! This park is free to get into and very family friendly and actually any age friendly, there is really something for everyone there! There is also lots of pavilion space for picnics if you don't want to spend $$ on food there. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food options they did have. A plaque said they were voted best amusement food in 2024. Highly recommend visiting! Oh, don't forget to download their app!

This is an amazing family, amusement park. It's not huge but it's not small by any stretch either. It has a really nice homey feel that you don't get at the bigger six flags and cedar Fair Parks. The roller coasters were really good. I enjoyed Phoenix and twister. I also had a garlic burger with smothered fries. Usually burgers had amusement parks are kind of boring. This one was actually sensational. The taste was amazing. I enjoyed my stay here. I would recommend bringing your family here for sure.

One of the best amusement parks I've ever experienced. Great food! And the wooden roller coaster is incredible. We spent almost 8 hours there and it wasn't enough. Can't wait to return.

We visited Knoebels Amusement Resort today with my wife, son, and granddaughter, and it could not have been a better day. The park wasn’t crowded (Mondays and Tuesdays really are the sweet spot), so lines were short and we could enjoy more rides and attractions without the wait. Knoebels is truly a gem in Pennsylvania—family-friendly, welcoming, and wonderfully nostalgic. We stayed from open to close, and the atmosphere never lost its charm. One of the things I love most is that you can bring your own picnic. We packed lunch and dinner, left it on a picnic table in the grove, and—just like magic—nobody touched it. That kind of trust and respect is rare these days. Whether you’re riding coasters, playing games, or simply strolling through the park with a cone of fresh ice cream, Knoebels delivers pure fun in its most genuine form. We left with full hearts, tired feet, and a lot of great memories. We’ll be back again soon!

A beautiful Saturday/weekend for Homecoming 2025 activities at Bucknell University. The highlight wasn't just connecting with hubby’s college friends, but also the celebration of 150 years since the first Black student, Edward M. Brawley, graduated in 1878.

Beautiful campus! Impressive facilities and academics. Definitely worth a visit. We took a student led tour. It was interesting to get a current student's point of view. Saw the inside of several academic buildings as well as a dorm.

Great basketball game we won in overtime

Out of touch administration resides over an overpriced, but beautiful, party school. The students, faculty, and staff are all very nice but the former are mostly milquetoast liberals with no care other than where they're getting their Natty Lite for Saturday. I've made a lot of good friends there, but I've also gone through a lot of trouble with the administration with the process of getting a new (dry?) roommate. The whole school privileges whiteness and party culture. Not a negative review, but a warning.

Very organized. Brought in Ships track team in for a meet. Had a greeter with maps and instructions. Very nice thank you for your help.

We went for our dad's 75th birthday on a full moon night. I would not recommend taking your older loved ones here. Hilly, gravel trails are what you walk on. We loved the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers. We hated that more tickets were sold than expected (which we know helps the wolves) and we didn't get the small group tour to learn. The wolves are majestic and their howling beautiful. We did not get to see the entire sanctuary because there was not enough volunteers, that made the trails clogged with too many people. We took chairs and carried them. That sucked. You DO NOT NEED CHAIRS. There are benches and a fire pit by the gift store at the end of everything. My suggestion: bypass the moon nights and go when you can score a small group tour of the ENTIRE facility. We were thankful for all the knowledge the pony-tailed volunteer dropped on our large group of about 100 people. We appreciated the no kids under 16 rule for the moon night's too. There's such a rich, wonderful history to this place and we wanted to hear all of it. 5 stars for the wolves. 5 stars for the volunteers. 1 star for over selling tickets. Bottom line: go for a day time visit with a small group.

We actually had the pleasure of staying in one of 3 cottage's on the property. We stayed in the Paymaster's Offfice. It was an adorable cozy place that had a gas fireplace, a large air jet soaking tub, kitchenette that included a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, cook top with two burners, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Breakfast is included with your stay and was delivered to the cottage by Maggie. Also included is a tour of the wolves. In the early morning hours, we had the pleasure of hearing a symphony of wolves. What a beautiful way to wake up. Everyone should experience it at least once. They take great care for these beautiful creatures. Our tour guide Michelle was very nice and knowledgeable about every wolf on the property. They all have a story to be told. I highly recommend going in the fall when the wolves are more active due to the cooler weather.

I loved my visit to the Wolf sanctuary. The volunteer was awesome and he worked there for over 20 years volunteering, extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I will certainly be going back when all the leaves are down so you can have complete full visual of the wolves. The grounds are pristine and well kept. Can you tell I loved it there?

We did the full moon night walk. The wolves were on and off active. We learned a lot from the guides. I wish you were able to know the entertainment before booking. There was a poet our night and not live music.

This is a really interesting place to visit. I would recommend it! It is an experience you will remember for a long time. You get to see them up close and personal. How they interact with each other and the guide does a great job explaining anything you want to know about them. You will find it educational and entertaining with guided public and private tours. Book ahead when they have limited availability. They also have a gift shop if you want a souvenir.

This place is incredible. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable, the wolves are respected and intentionally cared for, 1.5 hour out from Philly - worth the drive. Will visit again. Close to Shady Maple if you want some good food after your visit

We had a private tour with Denny; he was such a knowledgeable tour guide and passionate about the sanctuary. We got to see the beautiful wolves before their feedings, so they were active and eager to be fed. Hearing the wolves howling was amazing! In the 2 hours we really got to know most of the 55 wolves the sanctuary cares for. Denny was amazing and made this experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this experience!

Stopped by here to pick up some jars of pickled eggs and onion relish for my brother. The hot food sold from one of the spots in here was delicious. Like a home cooked meal to go. Roast beef, carrots, and mashed potatoes. Ill take that any day over fast food.

Cute market that’s bigger than it looks! The chocolate covered bacon was amazing! The burger was really good also! Shoo-fly pie and home-made root beer all delicious. I’d go back for more. The people are so friendly! The artwork is cute and the crafted item are gorgeous!

In the heart of Amish country. Plan at least 2 - 3 days to visit all of the many, many shops and be able to try a few different restaurants and bakeries. Tons of handmade items!

Kind of a mixed bag. Best Meat and cheese I've ever had. Wonderful! Huge heads of cabbage and tomatoes. However, prices ranged from good (meat/cheese) to outrageous (fresh produce, candy, baked goods). We watched one vendor scoop handfuls of loose candy from a big commercial box 6 into small plastic containers giving it the 'homemade' vibe. I'm sure some of it is Amish made, but overall it gave the sense of "buy in bulk, repackage & wear Amish clothing to get your premium price." don't go here expecting an Amish market (we walked in to Elton John's rocket man on the sound system), and the few who seemed authentic were certainly not friendly.

Fun place to shop and buy food and souvenirs. Tomatoes and cabbage are HUGE! Good selections of pickles, coffee beans, fudges, Whoopie Pies, candies and fresh produce. Something for everyone.

Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market offers a wide variety of local goods, including fresh produce, baked items, meats, cheeses, and handmade products. The market is clean and organized, with plenty of stands to browse. Prices are reasonable for many items, though some specialty products can be on the higher side. It can get crowded, especially on Saturdays, but the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a nice spot to experience local Lancaster County flavors and crafts.

Amazing place to find all your produce needs! We loved getting fresh rolled butter and other items like fresh berries, honey, and other household goods. I wish I lived closer bc I would do all my weekly shopping here.

The bus tour is highly recommended — it’s both informative and a great way to see how Amish people live. Along the way, there are opportunities to interact with Amish locals and purchase handmade goods, which adds to the experience. The farm itself is okay and interesting to walk through, offering a closer look at daily life and traditional tools, but the real highlight is definitely the tour.

Jack our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour! The house is so interesting and the farm was such a great surprise. The animals are well taken care of and there is a lot of history throughout the farm. So many things to look out, so make sure you make enough time to check everything out.

My friends and I did the 90 min bus tour and then the house tour. I personally liked the house tour much better than the bus tour. The bus tour was nice to drive by all the Amish farms and we stopped at two different locations. But I felt it was more like here is where you can buy quilts and baked goods. The house tour was very informative to learn about the way of Amish life.

We travelled here for the day from Maryland as it looked good, however first impressions were not great. We expected it to be in the country side, a bit more isolated than it was - it's next to a massive target! So that threw us straight away. We only did the farm tour as we had a 3 year old in the group and the house tour was recommended 5+. It was nice, there were some informative signs about what the building were etc the farm animals looked well cared for. However it wasn't worth the 3 hour drive to come and see. Maybe worth it if you are in the area and maybe better if you did the house tour, but it think we'd have been better off going to a local farm to where we were staying in Maryland. Overall I wouldn't recommend traveling out your way to visit, especially just for the farm visit.

Me and my family decided to visit the Lancaster PA for the weekend, we really wanted to check the Amish way of living so we decided to come to this place and spend almost all day here, we took a shuttle to go inside this simple yet full of history places, me and my kids enjoyed the trolley ride we also went to their workshop and found a lot of unique and interesting items that they make manually, their labor is unbelievable, they live a simple life, their food is freshly made every meal, we are learning so much on their way of living. We saw their houses and school, my kids play on their playground and the tractors. I recommend that stop by in here to see what his amazing historical places when visiting Lancaster.

The bus tour was a waste of time honestly our driver /guild was a total tool. Now for the positive the house tour was amazing the woman was informative and brilliant. The grounds are amazing the animals and horses are great we loved the house tour but save your time and avoid the bus tour.

This place has great marketing for sure. It is similar to what you would see from a county fair and when you are walking around the farm your view is a commercial shopping center including Target and CiCis pizza..... disappointing The horse area has empty hay bins and hay shelter and there is trash all around the walkways including shredded trash where the grounds mowers runs over candy wrappers etc shredding them into pieces This was the worst experience of my entire vacation- the office was closed at end of my visit so no one to talk in person and no staff in sight during the visit other then the cashier who clearly did not want to be there . Over one week later still upset about this experience and fully believe it is a money grab tourist scam by the owner

A quaint little amusement/water park in Lancaster, PA. There are a few rides for the older crowd, but I think this park is geared mainly to the younger kids. My boyfriend and I took his 9 year old daughter and we all had a great time. You could actually spend the entire day at the water park if you wanted to. We didn't get to see any of the shows as we were only in Lancaster for a few days. It's interesting to see this park right along the main roadway. I believe the park was open in 1963, so I do not know if that highway was there at that time. There is also an area where you can walk through and learn about dinosaurs.

Our 6 and 4 year old grandchildren love it here. Their favorite rides are the Whip It, Old Fashioned Car, the small roller coaster, the Bee. They were disappointed this last visit because none of the dinosaurs in explore Island were working. A fun amusement park.

Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park 2249 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA 17602 So I’m not gonna lie I wasn’t sure what to think when my wife said let’s go to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA. Doesn’t really seem like there’s anything there as a quick roadtrip destination, but the fact that this amusement park is geared towards 12 and under and we needed some long overdue family fun we decided to hit the road. Once we arrived, the checking process was super easy because we bought our tickets online. People that were purchasing tickets on site were waiting forever in line 😩. Shout out to my wife for making the arrangements online. We got in and began riding all the kid friendly rides we could fit. First we went on a boat ride and had to identify different characters along the way. We rode the skylift across the park which was relaxing. Once we got off the skylift we went to a BBQ stand to eat and unfortunately that was the only bad part about the park. The burgers weren’t real ground beef, they didn’t have any of their sides like, and the smoked sausage wasn’t very good either. They also ran out of drinks so we had to get kiddie cups of water. After the dissster that was lunch we allowed the girls to ride a bunch of rides that parents couldn’t ride with them on. We watched a water show with an evil sorcerer, a king who’s princess daughter needed to be saved by the prince that was turned into a frog by the sorcerer because he wanted to marry the princess himself. We were able to finish off the park with a couple of family rides and rollercoasters as well as taking the girls to the gift shop and grabbing some souvenirs. If we ever go again we’ll stick to your traditional amusement park food like chicken tenders, pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, etc, but all in all it was a great experience and most importantly the girls had lots of fun!

My son is 7 years old and he is at the perfect age for this amusement park. Definitely worth checking out at least once. You can easily see the whole park in 1 day. We plan to come back during Christmas since they decorate the park all up & you can even book Christmas dinner with Santa & his Elves! Kinda a cool experience for your little ones before they get to old. (Insert tear) lol

Dutch wonderland sure showed me and my family a good time everything where age-appropriate, we try almost all the rides they could ride. The water area was great since i had my 2 year old and 5 year old even i had a blast. Staff was informative friendy if we could have found something they insured that we found it. We had gotten food while there a little pricey for chicken tenders and fries finish it off with a slushy variety of flavors. So much fun things to do loved it i rate 10/10

I loved it here and cannot wait to return! I visited for the first time today with my husband (who hates rides) and my 2.5yr old toddler (who had yet to experience them). It is the perfect place to go as a family with a little one trying rides for the very first time. The rides are specifically designed with kiddos in mind, so the majority are low stakes and not very intense. I appreciated their easy system for riding based on height, and it was clearly posted at each ride. I also loved that I could walk into the rides with my son and get him situated and buckled before they began (of course workers double checked every time, but it gave me kiddo peace of mind to have me walk in with him). There were lots of food stalls and restaurants around, bathrooms in convenient locations (which included changing stations for littles), a first aid booth, strollers for rent (and plenty of places to put said strollers when on rides), games to play, and the entire park was very walkable. There were no crazy hills or long stretches of path where rides were not accessible. Wait times for rides were very short-- in fact, most of the time there was never a line. For the couple times we did wait, it was not longer than 10 minutes, and there was often shade or coverage from the sun. The water area was a blast and definitely helped us cool off. We went straight there to drop off our swim stuff (in a locker) which made it easy to get to when we were ready, and it kept us from toting extra stuff around all afternoon. The locker was for all day which was wonderful. There were so many things to do outside of rides. Shows, dives, pop up theater, Santa, a foam party, story time--it was a jam packed place. If you're looking for a place to take your littles for the day, look no further! Dutch Wonderland is the perfect place to go. Look for deals online for tickets. Kids under 3 are FREE!!!

The place has a lot to offer with plenty of activities for both adults and kids. The food is good, though definitely on the pricey side. Sundays get really crowded, so expect a lot of people. Overall, a fun spot but a bit expensive.

My first time at the fair and what an experience!!!! So much to do there and many cool lil gift shops and stands. Parking was super easy also. We can't wait til next year to visit again!!

Went to the PA Renn Faire and as always....it was amazing!!! The costumes, the food, the ale!!! Parking was a breeze and there was virtually no wait. Scotch eggs y'all!!! Also the Peach Vanilla Cider. That was from another planet!

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is always a great time! The entertainment is usually great, the food is always excellent, and just the overall environment is fun and enjoyable. It is a rain or shine event so you better be prepared because they don't stop no matter what the weather does. Yes it's harder to enjoy when it's raining, but as long as it is warm enough just suck it up and enjoy yourself! The Jousting is always awesome, the idea of living the medieval life speaks to my soul LOL.

The grounds were exciting and diverse. The characters were talented, well dressed, and extremely entertaining. Though, during the final Pub Sing on the last day of the season, one of the main characters, King James of Scotland, kissed his right hand man. I don't care what each person's personal deviant affiliation is, that's between them, their partner, and God. What bothers me is when they put their preferences on display on the main stage without giving the audience a choice as to whether or not to watch. There are many children in the audience and mine were left with questions I was not prepared to answer during a fun family outing. The last time I went to the PA RenFaire there was no signs of sexual preferences or innuendo on display for the main story line events. We steered clean of all the shows that were marked Not Suitable For Children.

The rennfaires are always so much fun... expensive, but fun... haven't really found any food that I'd order again. I need to plan to stop somewhere for breakfast beforehand next time.

We go here for the Renaissance Faire and it's a hoot! Semi permanent structures add to the setting as you step into a fantasy world based on ye olde England. Some merchants, including food, only take cash.

Our family attended the zebra, ostrich, camel and horse races! We all had a wonderful time. The facility was clean and well staffed. We ventured into the casino after the races and cooled off playing some hot new slots. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will plan to come back again!

I have been here a few times and was recently there for the exotic races they do every year. Seeing the camels and ostriches race was a pretty cool experience, but was very drawn out. Other then that it is a pretty standard casino. The rewards program is kinda subpar in my opinion. You really do not benefit unless you have a huge bankroll for the average person.

We attended the lantern festival at Hollywood casino. Very well coordinated, peacefully and orderly. We are one of the vendors. The organizers are very courteous and helpful. We would love to go back for the event. Strands by Jenny

Great experience throughout the casino. We enjoyed the Christmas displays and props for taking pictures. Plenty of slots with an abundance in the lower denominations. Great place for fine dining or for a casual meal. Will definitely return on our way back home.

Great place.. a little hot inside but a big variety of foods, bakery items, vegetables, meats and trinkets and much more. This cupcake place was amazing. Prettiest cupcakes I've seen. They said they are planning on getting a shop soon. I wish them lots of luck.😊

Had a great time visiting Lancaster Central market. Vendors galore, from fresh cut flowers to meats and cheeses produce souvenirs and hot food. Pricing was absolutely amazing and everyone was very friendly. Loved walking through seeing everything. Baked goods and beautiful cupcakes.

Loved this marketplace where I can get baked goods, candies and treats as well as soup mixes and pancake mix. We sat down and had breakfast at the counter and the eggs were perfect. Very nice people work here. They have handmade crafts and gift items as well.

I recently visited this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! The apple cider latte was amazing - not too sweet and something I could drink every day. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Exciting and very busy place on a Saturday. We arrived to check it out on a lovely bright sunny day. Food vendors inside and out musicians the smell of baked goods and coffee. We looked at all of our choices for lunch and decided on ntwo deli sandwiches from Deli Grassi which was turkey with peppers,, lettuce and tomatoes on freshly baked bread from Philly. $26 for two sandwiches. Had two cokes and got some Boston custard donuts from the Amish Red Maple Bakery. Very crowded and you have to pay to park. So many choices inside and out check it out for yourself. 🌹

Absolutely loved this indoor market. If you like fresh veggies, locally sourced milk products, fresh meat, etc., you will love Central Market. It gets busy as the morning moves on, so get your items early. The fudge from Uncle Leroy's Candy Kitchen and the beef sticks sold by S. Clyde Weaver are top notch. Vendors we purchased from were friendly and worked efficiently. Loved the fresh vegetable stands as well. You will need to pay for parking and watch your time closely! Allow at least an hour if you are someone who likes to peruse nearly every vendor.

It was a pretty nice Market. We got there a little after 12:00. The market was very busy. We picked up a few snacks there.

Great exhibits, perfect place to start learning about the acw or to introduce someone to it. Good overview that includes the Western Front as well (rare) though lacking info on overall civilian experience, there is a lot about slavery, emancipation, usct, and Black experience at the time. Beautiful view outside!

It's a great American story; what President Abraham Lincoln did is admirable. Unlike today's administration, which wants to feel like a hero just by talking and giving orders.

It's a very cool place if you have the time to read each wall panel. There are no wow factor artifacts, just cool history.

A great experience but a bit pricey at $17 for seniors. Quality artifacts and well displayed information. Very cold (bring your sweater) and narratives can make it difficult to read. Highly recommend.

An impressive and very well-organized museum. The collection is extensive and covers both the Union and the Confederacy’s perspectives, making it balanced and informative. The exhibits are clearly presented, with original artifacts, documents, and audiovisual displays that bring the era to life. The staff is friendly and always willing to answer questions. A must-visit for anyone interested in history.

This was an amazing experience! My husband and I were excited to find this on our last day there in town. We learned a few things that we have not read before and we have been to a lot of museums. The displays were amazing and the items they had were incredible to see. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I attend the yearly Standardbred Horse Sale at the Farm Show Building/Complex every November ... It's always a fun several days ... I lived in Harrisburg for several years in the '80s, and even attended a high school basketball game in the large arena - the horse sale is held in the small arena - as well as the Farm Show itself ... Nice facility ... and less dusty than it used to be. 😉 (The horse sale used to be held in the large arena in, like, the '60s and earlier, I believe ...)

Always a good time, free admission, and $15 parking. Got to meet a legendary chef and watch a demonstration. I also got my free recipe book signed. There are so many vendors for almost everything, and this complex is enormous. There are so many food choices. Also, animals are everywhere. It is so much fun. I highly recommend going every year!

Excellent facility...My only suggestion is to create a grazing area for the horses.

I look forward to the Farm Show every year. From enjoying the delicious 🥤milkshakes to seeing the cows and goats, it’s always such a fun experience to share with family and friends. The farmers’ passion and love for their animals is truly contagious, making it an event I look forward to 😄🐄🐐🐓

Stopped by the Farmers Market on a Tuesday morning! There was so much to choose from — fresh produce, baked goods, handmade items, and more. It had a nice steady flow of people, but it wasn’t too crowded, which made browsing and chatting with vendors really pleasant. 😊 Great way to support local and stock up on some delicious, fresh finds. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Fun day with my sister. Highly recommend going early because the place is huge & lots to see!! We parked in HACC lot and got shuttled right to the door. Very convenient instead of driving all around looking for a spot. Parking was $15. Free shuttle and entrace to farm show. Went on a Saturday. It was very busy! But, everyone there was friendly & seemed in a good mood. The food lines were very long, but moved quickly. Highly recommend the cider donuts & cheese cubes!!! Yum! Milkshakes are overrated. They taste just like McDonald's, nothing special. The pierogies & potato pancakes were also very good. We were a little disappointed that they ran out of sour cream, but it was the last day. The owners of the animals were very knowledgeable and answered all of your questions. You can get up close and touch all the animals. Over all ~ fun day! Next time, I think I'd like to see the rodeo.

A beautifully crafted building with a huge amount of money spent on its construction, paintings, marbles, glass work, chandeliers, etc. It has three main portions, namely, Senate, House of Common, and Supreme Court. Its floor tiles are individually hand crafted. The tour guide explains everything in many details. One must book the tour in advance, although they entertain one or two odd unbooked people, but i depends upon the already booked slots. On weekdays, one can also attend the sessions in the different houses, including the Supreme Court.

Stopped over the state Capitol this past July after taking my wife & kids to see the Chocolate World in Hershey. Figured what's a few extra miles west to see some historical architecture. We live in the Chicago area and were visiting my dad's side of the family in the Tamaqua area. I've only passed thru Harrisburg on the interstate but never visited the downtown area. Last time I was in PA was 2011 and this trip marked my wife & kids' first visit to the Keystone State. I'm rather impressed with the downtown and Capitol Park area. Kinda makes you think the Burg is a major city but indeed is actually small in land and population. We were actually on a time crunch so we didn't get to walk inside the Capitol building if we're actually even allowed to. My kids weren't all that excited to be here but my wife & I enjoyed walking around the historical complex, the fountain and the park across the street. It was a beautiful day out and a pleasant first experience in the state's capital. Not sure when we'll visit PA again but I'd definitely like stop in town again and explore more.

This is probably one of the best state Capitol buildings you can visit. It is incredibly ornate. Tours are free and while not required, the tour guide may be able to get you into some areas that you wouldn't be able to get into on your own. We had an awesome guide which made it even better. Be sure to stop at the Governors office and the Senate library.

The PA State Capitol is absolutely gorgeous! Interior and exterior feels like I'm transported straight to DC. The Capitol offers free timed tours of the 3 main chambers; PA House, Senate, and Supreme Court. Our tour guide was so impressive with how knowledgeable, personable, and he paced us well to see everything within the 30-45 minutes. The art and architecture of the main rotunda and the chambers were incredible. I honestly would have been more than happy if I paid for a tour like that, let alone a free tour open to the general public. Big props to our guide for the 1pm tour, Monday July 14th.

This is one of the best capitols in USA. Lots of money spend in the construction, beautiful fascinating stunning chandelier in the chambers. Floor tiles are awesome U feel transported in the era kings and queens seems u are in rich palace The interiors are amazing gold leaf work is done in the entire building. Tours are free if possible book in advance It shows 3 chambers Supreme court, senate, house of common Outside-is big fountain Every part of building is beautifully done Worth visiting

Definitely one of the most beautiful capitol buildings I've been to. Parking was easy to find. They have a welcome center and a gift shop.

Watched a great York Revolution game and enjoyed the perfect weather for evening baseball. Lots of activities between innings to keep you entertained. Food was a bit pricey, but tasty.

I've been going here since I was a kid and it's always a joy! I got to bring my son here for the first time and it is bringing back wonderful memories. The staff was nice and there are fun activities to do like the corner maze, petting cows and the place your face in the cardboard cutout photo. We can't wait to come back!

Delicious homemade ice cream and other treats. Free activities. Baby cows that you can pet. View cow milking and corn maze. Lots of great photo opportunities 😃 I have been going there since I was little and now I take my kiddos. Great place to spend an hour or so. Local delicious milk.

This farm has good ice cream and milk. It is a small farm that welcomes groups of kids and pets. There is no fee to visit.

Great choice of ice cream flavors in a cone or dish.. order inside and pay, then pick up outside or pick out of the freezer by dish.. my personal favorite is cheesecake! You can also choose items such as baked goods, soda pop in bottles, and some simple olde tyme deli candies. You can visit the baby cows... you can pet them but be careful, they like to nibble and bite your clothes LOL then swing down to the milking area and say hi to the full grown mammas and give them a nice head rub!

Very nice place and a good selection of foods, especially ice cream. Our daughter enjoyed seeing the calves.

We had such a great time petting all of the calves. The ice cream was amazing and there were so many unique flavors. Perfect for kids or people with special needs. Don't wear your best clothes as your hands will get dirty petting the calves. They also had a nice selection of jams, honey and other fun items to purchase.

My kids, as well as myself love coming here they buy far have the best ice cream with lots of different favorites to choose from and the kids always love seeing and petting the cows They have a little store inside that you can buy milk, candies, and lots of other goodies. There are picnic tables outside, corn maze and a little handwashing station outside as well.

The campground is well maintained. The sites for RVs were a little close together. If you like tent only sites there a few closer to the water that had more privacy. Restroom facilities were updated and clean. Small store on site for ice/wood/necessities. The noise from the nearby road and train tracks can be a little distracting if you plan to sleep in.

Beautiful and spacious campsites with easy access to the restroom facilities, the lake, store, playground, and many other amenities. Most of the roadways are paved offering easy access. The hosts, Mike and Charity were absolutely awesome! The made us feel like old friends visiting. We returned home today and preparing to book our next visit.

I recently visited Codorus State Park, and I had a fantastic experience! Here are some highlights: - Clean Bathrooms: One of the first things I noticed was how well-maintained the bathrooms are. The sound of water nearby added to the overall tranquility of the park. Overall, Codorus State Park is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to enjoy nature, whether for a day visit or an extended camping trip. I highly recommend it!

I've been coming to the pool and marina area since I was a kid. It brings me nostalgia. I love how the pool and locker rooms are the exact same as they were 30+ years ago. Surprised how there's not many Hanover locals out here. This is Hanover's best attraction.

I visit the lake on a regular basis. It's one of my favorite places to relax. It's disheartening to see the water levels fall during this time of year, especially since the lake in motion is always a beautiful sight.

Only was there for a brief visit but enjoyed my time. Well maintained trails, nice lake, didnt bring my fishing stuff but looks promising. There was a stand of american chestnuts along the trail i hiked that was a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful campsites in a woods with 100 foot high trees. Dog friendly campsites available. Clean showers and restrooms.
