This was so much fun. The people that run it are great and help make it a good experience. The puzzles were way more complex than I anticipated, but that actually was part of the fun. I was concerned because I'm a bit claustrophobic, but you are never locked in anywhere. We want to return and do all of their rooms!
TRACY K — Google review
This escape room was incredibly well crafted and clearly made with love and care. The hosts were very kind, attentive, and helpful when we needed. The puzzles were well made both logically and physically. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of the experience Highly recommend, and we will be returning to do other rooms!!!
Zion T — Google review
We loved the multi-room format and how the puzzles intertwined. Puzzles were varied formats, some mechanical, some Cypher, some visual- an excellent mix. Also, very attentive game masters. Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! The owner is very friendly and wants you to have a good time! This place is in a former bank which is pretty cool. We had my daughter’s birthday party here and they had a blast. I can’t say enough good things about the experience for them. They were able to solve the it and were laughing the entire time. The only thing I wish is that I took a pic of the vault. Super cool. Thanks for the cool night.
Ed N — Google review
Such a cool place and experience, I did the meat locker room and it was amazing, definitely will be going back again! And the best part is it’s affordable, way cheaper than escape rooms in the city and other areas! Definitely recommend!
Abby B — Google review
We had a great time at the 5th Street Escape Room in Charleroi, PA! It was fun to celebrate a birthday and beat set the record for the month in the National Heist Room. Highly recommended!

We all had a great time. The owners are friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at the escape room and made a reservation to do another room the following week because we had so much fun.

Critter Country Animal Farm

Took a trip here with my family. It was a smaller farm and absolutely beautiful! All the staff were super friendly, and the owner went out of her way to ensure a great experience!! So many cool and unique animals other places alike do not have. The animals were willing to eat and greet you! They were all so happy and very well taken care of! This is a great place and we WILL be back!!
Krissy T — Google review
Nice place to take children they can pet the animals and feed some of the animals.
Lorie S — Google review
My husband and I took my little sister here and we had a great time. I got to see animals I've never seen before. You can buy food and feed the animals and some of them you can even pet.
Regina G — Google review
I just had my four year olds birthday party here! It was awesome! Gracie and Laurie were amazing help and extremely nice. We had plenty of space for set up, decorations, food and places to sit. The kids had a great time feeding and petting the animals and learning about them! Overall great experience and a great time!
Lizzy W — Google review
I'm originally from SW PA but moved some years ago. I went home for a visit and took my 10 year old and his friend. We all loved it! There is a wide variety of animals (wild animals and farm animals!) and it was so much fun to feed them! We bought 3 bowls of carrots and 3 bowls of seeds and that carried us through for several hours. Staff was great and neighbor kids were there helping. We will definitely go back!
Chris L — Google review
Rob & Laurie are truly A M A Z I N G! my husband and I came from new york ran into a couple misshapes but we were supposed to end up at critter country! We were even a few minutes late and Laurie didn't hesitate to let us still see all their fur babies! So many cool animals, the white peacock followed me around for some snackies. I got to take selfies with the turkeys, donkeys, and a Hyland cow! (My favorite!) It was amazing. Definitely a hidden gem! If you're looking at reviews questioning whether to go or not (I do the same thing) Just GO you won't regret it! We loved all the animals and interacting with them! Laurie was so sweet and let me feed the baby piglets their bottle. My husband had good conversations with Rob. They made us feel like we were family! We will be coming back to see you Rob & Laurie thank you for putting a smile on our faces! You guys are the best!!!! Next time we'll try not to be late 😉 I can't thank you enough for today!
Oliva S — Google review
Such a delightful place! Great people and the animals are so friendly. My family had a great time! Can't wait to go back.
Kimberly P — Google review
I would not recommend going there if you have autistic individuals with you that have a therapy dog because you will be rudely turned away they don't care about individuals with disabilities. I don't know if the lady owns the place but she was very rude and ignorant. The only reason that there is a star I had to choose at least one to leave a review.

EQT Park

Stadium
Outdoor Activities
Stadium for baseball & more sporting events is home to the Frontier League's Washington Wild Things.
I'll make this review short since I just wrote a long glowing review for the Wild Things that for some reason my computer ate. LoL - So this review will just be to the point. The staff was fantastic, the food INCREDIBLE - had the hot dogs, funnel fries, ice cream, and the BEST chicken sandwich I have had in YEARS (and I eat chicken sandwiches out often) (do not judge my eating habits please) The facility was very clean. Here's a few MENUS to whet your appetite. As with all pro athletic events, food is a bit pricey, BUT on Wednesday they sell $1.00 hot dogs! And they do allow tailgating. Ticket prices are fair, park location great, and as I said the staff was fantastic! Go Wild Things!
AC G — Google review
Wildthings Baseball. Wednesday is Senior Slugger day. 55 and over free admission. Sign up on their site. $1 hotdogs $5 paid parking
Brian M — Google review
We had a great time at Wild Things game. The park is small, allowing for every seat to be a good one. We were seated in 103 Row B. It was easy to arrive and depart.
Derik S — Google review
Great time watching The Wild Things baseball game. Very nice park, and seats.
Clyde J — Google review
EQT Park is the home of the Washington Wild Things baseball. It is a very cozy park with good views throughout. Easy to access and easy to get out of after the game. Give it a try as an alternative to the Pirates.
Emory M — Google review
Such a great field and environment. The staff keep you very entertained between innings and keeps the fans engaged. It was such a good time for the family and the fireworks were a great touch after the game. The food is affordable and we will def come back to watch another baseball game!!
Melanie P — Google review
Terrible concert venue. Lines for the bathrooms were horrendous. Too crowded. 30+ mins to get a drink. 1.5 hours to get a T-Shirt. 35+ mins for the men's bathroom. No bathrooms outside the venue, at least there were trees since you couldn't use a bathroom in the park.
David “ — Google review
My fiance's work gave the employees an appreciation day here. We had a suite and it was nice. Ac could've worked better but the food was good- hot dogs, lasagna roll ups, fruit salad and the most amazing brownies! A couple drink choices in the fridge. I got an ice cream and it was HUGE for $5, I couldn't eat it all. Nice seating outside the suite. We got a free bobble head. It was a.good time with lots of activities between innings. Hopefully will make it there again sometime. (An hour drive for us)

Triple B Farms

Farm
Sights & Landmarks
Agricultural service
Wonderful Summer Day at Triple B Farms! We had such a great time at Triple B Farms today! We went with our 3-year-old and another couple who brought their younger toddler, and it was a hit with everyone. We came for blueberry and lavender picking and left with full hearts (and full baskets!). The staff were all friendly and helpful, clearly explaining how everything worked and making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The fruit and flower picking was easy and fun. Beyond that, there’s so much for kids to enjoy such as their farm-themed play areas, big tractors to climb on, goats, peacocks, a maze, and other fun surprises throughout the property. Our little ones were completely delighted and could have stayed for hours. The market is lovely too. We went home with some fresh treats and felt great about supporting a local farm while having a full day of wholesome fun. Highly recommend for a summer outing with kids. We’ll definitely be back! It got quite humid during our visit, so we recommend bringing a small portable fan to stay cool in the summer. Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes are a must!
Divya P — Google review
Perfect for picking fresh flowers for summer arrangements for your home! The little farm store has delicious baked goods and fresh farm veggies! I love it! Picked these today! They have the container to purchase, and you can return to refill it for $15! They have containers in different colors.
KMB K — Google review
We decided to stop during our travels back to Pittsburgh! This place is huge! I have never seen and apple orchard with so many activities for kids, it was amazing. The apple fries.. out of this world! So glad we stopped! I wish we had more time to go on the wagon ride.
Michelle G — Google review
First time there and we got it a little late in the afternoon and a little late for the month for apple picking because there wasn't many left to pick. How to miss the flower picking and got lost in the maze...lol. but I got to see if you animals call me some goats and sheep can chickens. All in all it was enjoyable. I would go again.

Before I begin, I want to be very clear that our family loves Triple Bee Farms. We’ve made the trip there for the past three years, and every visit has been filled with kindness from the staff, wonderful activities, and priceless memories with our grandchildren. It’s always been one of those special traditions we look forward to each fall. That said, this year we couldn’t help but notice a shift toward monetizing many parts of the experience. The hayride to the apple orchard — which was always free in the past — now costs $3.50 per person, in addition to the price of the apples themselves. The smaller playground area, once a simple free attraction, is now fenced off and requires an $18 wristband to enter. And the farm overall is more difficult to navigate because so many areas are now surrounded by fencing, turning what used to be open spaces into pay-to-access zones. I understand that businesses need to generate revenue, and I’m sure insurance and operating costs have risen significantly. Still, the increased emphasis on charging for previously included experiences added a slightly negative tone to what has always been a wonderful day for our family. We’ll likely continue to visit because we love the place and the people — I just hope future visits might find a better balance between affordability and sustainability so the farm keeps its original charm.
Dave — Google review
What a fun place! So much to do. The employees are so efficient and friendly. Huge area spread out so it wasn't crowded at all and little or no line waiting. We got right on the hayride. Delicious products in their market and beautiful fall flowers to purchase along with apples, gourds, pumpkins, apple cider/pumpkin donuts, apple dumplings, and so much more! We didn't realize there would be so much to do and see. We didn't get to experience it all so are making plans to go back. We love this place
Sheila L — Google review
Honestly gorgeous place. Pleasant and centering, with a great family business to support. I found a chance to just sit and lay in the sun and grass for an hour while my son enjoyed the pumpkins. Not a worry in sight and wonderfully upkept. Extremely recommended.
Jude M — Google review
I’ve always enjoyed trips to Triple B growing up. Today I attended with my class on a school field trip, and while everything was fine, I was disturbed by the set up for the bunny in the barn area. As someone with 3 free roam pet bunnies, I was saddened to see such a small boxed in enclosure, with completely wire flooring, which is incredibly painful on rabbits feet, not to mention laying or hopping on. Rabbits need space to jump and run, otherwise they will end up very depressed. Seeing as this farm has so many schools come through on field trips, I’d like to see them take better care of their livestock. Rabbits need a diet compromised of more than just a bowl full of pellets. The kids notice. Many of my students asked if the bunny had water, because it had been struggled trying to drink from the bottle. They also wondered why the bunny was in a little box when there was a ton of room throughout the barn area that the bunny could have had a space designated for instead. Or why the goats had plenty of space with grass and toys, and the bunny was alone in a dark barn. Please consider making improvements, and looking into the proper care of the animals you have on your farm. (Photo of one of my healthy, happy girls )

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum

History museum
Museums
Museum where visitors can board restored trolley cars & ride to a building housing old streetcars.
I was pleasantly surprised with how there was so much for my kids to do! Coloring, hands on interactive exhibits, a movie, trolley ride, and more. A big plus was the nursing room, it was so nice and even had diapers/wipes/water. Good job, more places need to do this!! Lastly, the playground is so cute and well done!
Karlee H — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit learning about trolleys. We even took the opportunity to have a trolley ride. While walking through the Trolley Display Building, you get a sense of a bygone era. This place is well worth the time and money.
Brandon V — Google review
What a fun experience for us all. Even as adults, we all loved the place. I’d def go back too. Thanks to Stan and everyone else there.
Kieran M — Google review
Everyone on staff was very friendly and informative. The displays explain how different parts of the trolleys work were very fun and interactive. We took a very picturesque trolley ride around the area, and got to explore a bunch of cars of varying ages. It made for a very fun road trip stop.
Emma K — Google review
This is the most amazing experience. First you get to learn about trolleys and how they operate. Then you can tour the warehouse. It is full of trolleys in various states. Most of which are turned on and open for touring. The most amazing part is the actual trolley rides. There is a short one that is very informative and laid back. There is also a long ride. This is the most fun you will ever have doing less than 25 MPH. It has beautiful scenery snd some wildlife to photograph. If you are anywhere near Washington, PA do yourself a favor and stop here!!
Stephen I — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit to the Trolley Museum. The exhibits were fascinating and my son absolutely loved the trolley rides. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do, which made learning about the history even more enjoyable. The only downside was that a few of the volunteers were a little too eager to engage, and it sometimes felt like we were being followed around. I understand they were just trying to be helpful, but it came across a bit pushy. Overall, it is a wonderful place for families and anyone interested in transportation history. We would definitely visit again.
Dan — Google review
This place is a real hidden gem. Blown away by the breadth and quality of the exhibits, the trolley riding experience, and all the restored old trolley cars. Our 3- and 5-year-old couldn't get enough. And the staff were all incredibly nice, friendly, and great with the kids. We loved the Lego exhibit too!
David C — Google review
Very interactive. My son could spend the whole day there checking out all the trolleys. The best part is the trolley rides that are included with the admission ticket.

Tanger Outlets Pittsburgh

Shopping mall
Shopping
Shopping-mall chain featuring a variety of brand-name & designer outlet stores.
It was pretty cool to walk around this outside mall. The food court was kinda crappy though and had theater prices on the food it was insane! I don’t recommend eating here unless you don’t mind spending crazy money! Lots of co stores with discounted prices! The bathroom was nice and clean with a nice private area for nursing. Lots of parking.
Wendy R — Google review
We recently visited Tanger Outlets Pittsburgh with family, and it was a really enjoyable shopping experience. The outlet is located just about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh, making it a convenient spot for a weekend trip or quick shopping getaway. The environment was pleasant and clean, and we were impressed by the huge parking lot, which made finding a spot easy even though it was a busy day. We explored 5-6 stores, including American Eagle, Tommy Hilfiger, Banana Republic, GAP, Express, and Coach, among others. Our favorites were definitely American Eagle and GAP, where we found a great variety of clothing options for all age groups. The discounts and deals in these stores were excellent, and we felt like we got real value for our money. The staff across all the stores were friendly and helpful, which made our shopping experience even better. It’s always a plus when the customer service matches the quality of the products. While we had a wonderful time, it would be even better if there were more frequent or larger discounts across all stores. That would make the trip even more worthwhile. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to coming back again soon.
Ram C — Google review
Well organized, middle-sized Outlets with must-check brands like Nike, Polo, Coach. Numbers of clean restrooms are equipped. You can see beautiful big Christmas tree when you go there in a season.
藤原柾 — Google review
It's decent. I really enjoyed the pepper plays hot pepper store and I'm looking forward to going back to have another snow cone. It was like the best snow cone ever at this random stand in the middle of the mall.
Herbert ( — Google review
I haven’t been to this outlet mall in four years—it’s still pretty good overall, but you’ll probably find better deals around holidays.
Lucas S — Google review
This is embarrassing, but I was blown away! I lost my car at the mall. My kids and I were so hot trying to find it, so I stopped into the management office. They were so kind to us! The lady that helped had been there for 17 years she said :) She took my keys and drove around to find my car while we sat in the air conditioning, drinking water. They even gave my kids snacks and a goody bag. They turned a very bad moment for us into a good experience. I’ll never forget it. Thank you to you (I’m sorry that I didn’t get your name) You made our day!
Alex W — Google review
WOW! Most beautiful, expansive, and well-designed outlets I’ve ever been to. It’s flooded with high-end stores that are organized (with the exception of Adidas - yikes) with helpful staff and clean pleasant environments. It truly is an outdoor mall, and one UNLIKELY to disappoint at that.
Sam B — Google review
Only been there one other time and we will continue to go shopping there. It's very nice under the roof if it rains. Also love the vibe it has . I'm not one much for shopping to begine with but I love it at this particular outlet

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you should check out the Tipsy Cauldron pop-up! And if you’re not, it’s still totally worth it. The atmosphere is a perfect escape with great music, the coolest decor, and the friendliest staff. The food and drinks have the cutest presentation & they taste even better!
Kaely K — Google review
I went to The Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids and it was such a fun, unique experience! This was my first time at a harness race, and I was blown away by the energy, the tradition, and how much there is to take in. From the starting gate to the final race, the day was packed with excitement. I even got to go behind the scenes to see the paddock and ride in the starting car, something I never expected, but will never forget! The whole event was really well-run, with an awesome mix of races, food, music, and a big purple theme that made everything feel festive and fun. If you're looking for something different to do in Pennsylvania that still feels local and exciting, this is it. 10/10 recommend checking it out — I’ll definitely be back next year! 🐎💜
Cali E — Google review
I go there to country line dance. The floor is spacious & seating is abundant. There is a convenient bar by the dance floor! Bring your slick boots though. The floor can be grippy. The DJ plays the latest dances with some older ones mixed in.
Cheryl M — Google review
Really cool casino with kind of an oldie type style. I really enjoy our time here and playing in the arcade. With the bowling alley would be open until 4AM or something though but it might be under a different company possibly. I included a photo of the arcade which I think is in the perfect place for the casino since it appears to be filling an empty space and right outside the bowling alley which makes sense. I will be returning to enjoy the arcade and possibly bowling next time. Thank you for the memories and laughter we had tonight. 😄🥰

The Tipsy Cauldron Pop-Up Halloween Bar at The Meadows Casino was amazing! Such a fun and unique experience — 10/10! The staff were super nice and so committed to the Harry Potter theme, which made the whole night feel extra magical. The decorations were incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the whole vibe was festive and fun. Definitely recommend checking it out — can’t wait to come back next year
Isabella P — Google review
Attended a concert there. Wouldn’t go to another outdoor concert there ever. They ziptie small folding chairs together and you have no space. You can’t even sit properly every other person had to sit forward to fit. And the isles were so close together you couldn’t get in and out. Ticketmaster shows section 7 directly center of stage, however they set it up shifted one section down the whole way so instead of center we were to the right. And section 8 was center. But it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. They allow people to stand in the isle behind section two which is higher than the back sections already. So you literally can not see the stage even standing. And one tv monitor is also set up to low because the people are just blocking it. Perhaps if when they moved the concert from indoors to outdoors if they didn’t change us from being section 2 to 7 without notification it would have been semi enjoyable. Only two stars because the place was clean.
G K — Google review
Just like the other Hollywood Casinos in PA, this one was really nice. Stopped here on a Monday night to watch the Phillies in the 2025 playoffs. Great venue to catch a game or place a bet. The TVs are massive and there were multiple games/content on. The bar staff was super friendly and helpful for us business travelers. I had the ribeye steak and didn't know what to expect beings it was a sports bar. It was superb! Cooked exactly as requested and great flavor. Had some fun in the casino, but the slots seemed really tight. Not many bonuses and didn't get to play much for the money put in.

Round Hill Park

Park
Nature & Parks
Farm
This 1,000-plus acre park offers a working farm, walking & bridle trails plus a seasonal spray park.
Super cute. All kinds of farm animals you can see for free. No touching though, it's not a petting zoo. Was still fun to see, and a nice walk with the family. A bit hilly but not too bad by the barns. Getting to the pasture is very steep though.
K G — Google review
It's a nice neighborhood park to walk & enjoy nature,it lets you enjoy the simplistic things in life & nature will give you that my 7 yr old son enjoyed seeing the animals but he really liked the ducks & geese that we're in the pond & on the road. It was a nice little outing.
Inch H — Google review
It was so much fun to walk and explore. Would be a great place to take the family or just to have a nice walk by yourself! The staff was super nice.. I was out of breath walking my big butt up a hill and they offered me a ride 🤣🥰
Sam G — Google review
We went with a 1.5 year old and a 7 year old. The kids had a lot of fun in the well-maintained splash pad area. Some splash features were mild enough for the toddler; more aggressive dumps of water and higher pressure sprays were exciting enough for the 7yo. Very comfortable area surrounding the splash pad for the adults. Clean, benches, shade. Above the splash pad area is a large modern playground with lots of interactive activities as well as the standard slides and swings. The farm area was much cleaner and less smelly than I expected. The kids could get quite close to the animals without petting them. Informative signage about farming. The kids loved seeing all the animals.
Kate K — Google review
A beautiful way to spend a day! A full farm with horses, pigs, goats, cows, donkeys, alpacas, bunnies, chickens etc. Greeted by a beautiful pond full of many different types of geese, swans and ducks. Picnic benches and porta-potties everywhere. There is an actual restroom building at the entrance to the farm. Thankful for soap and water to wash little hands! The splash pad is well maintained and has plenty of shade.

Beautiful nature area, all kinds of animals being tended to here, great play ground, gorgeous venue as well.
Ricki M — Google review
The farm is well-kept, and the animals appear happy! The splash pad is our favorite, but it isn't currently open. The splash pad is opening for it's 2025 season either on or after July 6, 2025. They have a couple picnic tables around the farm. We enjoyed having our lunch there.

McDonald's

$$$$cheap
Fast food restaurant
Classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers & fries.
Best/Friendliest McDonald’s I’ve ever been too. Ordered 3 McFlurrys at the drive through. Got to the window and handed them my card for them to let me know the card machine is down and it’s cash only. Well I didn’t have any cash on me, so they told me to pull ahead and that the order was free. Then when I got to the second window, they informed me it would only be a minute they have to change the mix but offered us some free waters while we wait.

We came to this because of the Big Mac Museum..... We actually kind of went out of our way on our road trip.... Not to be mean but it wasn't worth it. It was just a few items displayed and you could easily see it online..... We only bought a drink.
Margaret R — Google review
Took my boys here today just to check it out. It’s one of the few McDonald’s locations that still has a play area, so they had a blast running around and burning off some energy. Honestly, that alone made the stop worth it. Food-wise, it’s the usual McDonald’s stuff—nothing special, nothing bad. Same Big Mac, same fries. They’ve got some memorabilia and a bit of history on McDonald’s and the Big Mac, which is cool if you’re into that kind of thing. There’s a giant Big Mac statue for photos, which the kids thought was funny. Overall, it’s not a place I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping in once just to say you did. One of those “cool for a quick visit” kind of spots.

Food is always cold, every time I use the drive through they make pull forward.and wait, yet somehow the fries are always cold. They make you pay for sauce and 9/10 times you never even receive it with your order. Rude employees. Never going back.

The service at this McDonald's was the worst I have ever experienced. We tried to make a quick stop before getting on the turnpike and went inside so we could stretch our legs before the long drive. We were the only ones in there and waited 30 mins for our food to come out. And it would have been longer if one of the other people with us didn't keep going to counter and telling the workers what to do (He used to manage 13 McDonald's) there was no leadership so the workers were not able coordinate and delegate jobs.
Lincoln T — Google review
McDonalds used to be number one in the early morning for service. Since those ladies retired about 5-6 years ago the service sucks! There was a man there last year my Mcmuffin was always cold in the middle and it was such a long wait time. I was in fear of returning. I do love their frappes! But I won't waste my hard earned money on half cooked food! I have very serious stomach issues and can't afford to get sick due to lazy employees.

A nostalgic trip to McDonald's can be a truly unique experience, especially when you encounter a location that has preserved its history. I recently visited a McDonald's that was unlike any other. It was a journey back in time, not just to the golden arches of my youth, but to a chapter of my life I had almost forgotten. As I stepped inside, I was immediately struck by the decor. It wasn't the sterile, modern look of most new locations. Instead, the walls were adorned with old McDonald's memorabilia, a treasure trove of forgotten marketing campaigns and Happy Meal toys. The sight of old styrofoam cups and the original Ronald McDonald gang brought a smile to my face. It was like walking through a museum dedicated to my childhood. The colors, the fonts, the images of characters I hadn't thought about in years—it all came flooding back. This trip down memory lane was particularly poignant for me. I used to be a manager at a McDonald's in Fresno, California, back in the day. Seeing these old artifacts brought back a flood of memories from that time. I remembered the long hours, the frantic lunch rushes, the smell of the fries, and the camaraderie with my crew. This particular McDonald's, with its preserved history, was a testament to the brand's evolution, and it was fascinating to see how far it has come from the days I knew it. This McDonald's was truly "cool" and different from the common stores. It was more than just a place to grab a quick bite; it was a curated experience, a tribute to the brand's enduring legacy. It offered a rare glimpse into the past, a chance to reconnect with memories and a history that has touched so many lives. For anyone who has a soft spot for McDonald's or is simply curious about its past, a visit to a historical location like this is a must. It's a reminder that even the most common things can hold a unique and personal history.

When they first reopened this was a huge disappointment. The museum is small and everyone makes a big deal over it when it's a few display cases scattered amongst the tables. Don't feed this poison to your children. You're already a horrible parent if you're reading this and you already do. As a child I didn't know any better but as a adult I'm 100% aware that this will only cause long term health issues.

Bushy Run Battlefield

State park
Sights & Landmarks
Landmark Native American battlefield site with tours, a visitor center & picturesque trails.
Took my students here on a field trip. The staff was exceptional! I mean they were top notch. The State needs to send them more money and support. No doubt about it. This place is a hidden gem in Western PA and needs to be protected and preserved.

I was brought to this site by my father in 1970.....we watched a reenactment on the First Day of Action site at night. After i grew up, survived 4 combat tours and a federal response to the NYC WTC site, I brought my children here in 2005. It is 2025 now, and the children are adults. They still have fond memories of the sunny day historical military portrayals and black powder smoke. Annual reenactments need to continue....they educate the public and preserve local and indigenous history.

When we arrived, one worker took us on a tour inside the museum, telling us the history and the culture of the era, and about the battle. Then he put on a short documentary for us that taught about the battle in greater detail. After the documentary, another worker took us on a ride on his golf cart, showing us the location of the battle sites. He was extremely knowledgeable of the history in the area, he was also very personable and made us feel welcome. We also saw they had a nice gift shop where we purchased a souvenir of our visit, and we see that they engage in a lot of activities for the local community. Definitely had a great experience here.

A must see in the area! The landscape is beautiful. There are many trails and a meadow you can walk through. The museum is self guided and free, with a short movie explaining what took place there. For $5 a person you can take a golf cart tour with a guide. Well worth it!!

Beautiful trails to walk on, all pretty early. Most trails are large and are covered in small pebbles, there are shoot off trails with the au natural look, smaller. Didn't get to venture off onto those today. Family friendly, including dogs. Will be back again!

I’ll admit I was initially unsure how much there would be to see at Bushy Run Battlefield, but it completely exceeded my expectations. I visited with my family, including two 11-year-olds, and we all had a fantastic time. After checking in, we were warmly welcomed by a volunteer named Betsy, who was absolutely wonderful. She guided us through the visitor center and even drove us around the battlefield grounds. Her knowledge and enthusiasm brought the history to life and made the experience incredibly engaging. We’ve visited many historic sites throughout Pennsylvania, and this was easily one of the best in terms of value and overall experience. The history surrounding Pontiac’s Rebellion is fascinating, and the site itself is well-maintained and beautiful to explore. We left feeling like we had discovered a real hidden gem. Highly recommend a visit—especially for anyone interested in colonial or Native American history!

This museum might be small but the battlefield it sits on is quite large. Inside the visitors center you will see artifacts from the French and Indian War. It is well maintained and well kept. It is a reasonable price to learn the history of this site. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and some are dressed in historical costumes. Plenty of parking and public restrooms are available. This is a PA historic and museum commission site.

I’m from out of town and it was late in the day. The course is amazing. I appreciate the very kind workers for making it possible for me to get out there quick to try to get 18 in which I did end up doing but all the staff was very nice. The greens were nice. The fairways were nice. The views were amazing. The only critique I have is it was me in a group of two in front of me and I was trying to bust my butt to get done before dark and I was pushing those two. They should’ve been kind enough to just let me through from what I understand their locals or members but it’s all right because I didn’t finish. It was at dark but again I finished but yes, it is a beautiful course and a beautiful clubhouse.
Help N — Google review
Came here with the boys a week ago, amazing course with great views and very well kept. Staff is nice and bar staff as well! Greens were fast and it was one of the most challenging courses I have been to but hey that’s golf. Love coming here and enjoying time with nature and my guys.
ROHAN G — Google review
The course is great, and always in good shape. The staff, and the "air" of this place, is the most arrogant, self indulgent of any course I've played in 25 years of golfing. They were about the first course in western PA to shoot up to $70+, and their attitudes reflect how incorrectly proud they are of themselves. If you avoid interaction with the self righteous management and staff, you may have a good time. If not, be ready to feel like an unwelcomed peasant.
Brian H — Google review
Originally from the area and back on a visit. Played with a friend from Texas. Lush fairways and greens. Very nice layout with great approach views of the clubhouse. Staff very friendly. Pace of play for a Saturday morning was good. This is a country club level course open to the public. Take advantage to try it out.
John M — Google review
Course was in great shape. Driving range, separate putt only and chipping practice greens(practice bunkers as well!). Greens were very fast and smooth. The only downside was the round took 5 hours. I think the course should switch to 12-15 min tee times over 10 min. Just too many people in the course
Natanael ( — Google review
Well maintained, fun course. Can be difficult sometimes depending on weather conditions and speed of greens. The pace of play is horrendous. There is no ranger to keep pace of play moving. Expect a 5.5 to 6 hour round and waiting at least 5-8 minutes on every tee box.
Tyler S — Google review
This is a nice course and well maintained. Only two cons are the price, and the fact it’s on top of a hill so regardless when you play there’s a bunch of wind! But overall it’s a good course to play and have fun.
Lead H — Google review
Friendly and informative staff, plenty of room between tee times, and the course was in great shape, what more do you want? Played on a Monday afternoon, well with the price!

Botanical garden
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, located in Schenley Park, is a horticultural paradise featuring a Victorian greenhouse and various botanical gardens. The complex has been recognized for its sustainable efforts, with three of the greenest buildings in the world on its campus. These include the Center for Sustainable Landscapes (CSL), Nature Lab at Phipps, and Exhibit Staging Center (ESC).
We were there on a beautiful September day, when they had their Jungle Quest summer flower show! What a joyful day and a great time for families with kids. My daughter loved the tropical plants and blooms and was excited to search for the toucan perched on top of the foliages. She loved playing in the areas designated for children and loves learning about the different species of plants and animals that live in these environments. We spent at least 3 hours there touring and visiting the gift shop. The best part is having lunch at the nearby park.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, my dad, my husband, and I decided to explore Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. First and foremost, the parking situation is absolutely atrocious! We drove around for probably about 15 minutes, just looking for a spot before we finally managed to find one about half a mile away. I think with it being located so close to two university campuses, parking is never good here. The terrible parking situation aside, this place is absolutely beautiful! The variety of plants and various vegetation in beautiful arrangements was definitely something to behold. We had such a wonderful time, exploring the exhibits and even had fun looking for the hidden toucans in the various rooms. Such a pleasant afternoon and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pittsburgh.

Phipps Conservatory is an absolute masterpiece. As an educated plant collector and a partner with a degree in horticulture, we came in with high expectations—and Phipps exceeded every one of them, earning a 10/5 rating from us. The level of thought and care that has gone into every single space is breathtaking. Each room is a uniquely curated world, from the stunning orchid displays to the thoughtful tropical collections. The plants are not only healthy and vibrant but are presented with an artistry that makes it clear this is a place run by people who are truly passionate about their craft. We spent hours wandering through the exhibits, constantly discovering new, fascinating details and unique specimens that held our attention. The Phipps experience is a testament to what a botanical garden can be when it's treated as a living work of art. It’s not just a collection of plants; it’s an immersive, educational, and inspiring journey. We can't recommend it highly enough to anyone who appreciates the beauty and science of the plant world."

Adding my 5 star review into the mix because this place was amazing. Beautiful botanical displays of all shapes and sizes all under these magnificent victorian glass greenhouses. You will feel like you were magically whisked off to London or Paris for the afternoon. Worth the visit to escape the madness and chaos of the world around you. Today I needed a nice, calm, relaxing, warm, inviting stroll through a garden and I was glad I stopped by. Thank you to everyone, especially Barbara keeping us going left and on the tour. 😎😎

Really cool experience for those interested in botanical gardens. Well worth the price of admission. Parking can be a tad tough to find on the street so be sure to plan ahead. Plenty of exhibits inside with rooms dedicated to rainforests, chrysanthemums, and ferns. My favorite was the cactus room!

I’ve been to several large botanical gardens, but the Phipps absolutely blew me away! My dad and I spent several hours walking around and I left feeling inspired and having learned a lot. This is an absolute must-visit, even if you’re only in Pittsburgh for a day or two.

What a wonderful experience! We've been here many times through the years and its always enjoyable. The Fall flower show was especially beautiful, and a treat to stroll from one area to another. I look forward to the next time here. We did learn if you go first thing in the morning (9:30), parking is readily available.

The theme for the Phipps Conservatory's 2023 Winter Flower Show and Light Garden was: Garden Railroad: The miniature train ride was titled "Pennsylvania Through the Four Seasons." It was one of my most enjoyable rides, a reminder of winter 2023, and I'm looking forward to what the theme will be for winter 2025. It's a perfect place to share with family and friends, and if you want to enjoy a solo ride to reconnect with yourself, it's also a great place.

The Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh offers a delightful ride on a beautifully restored wooden cable car, providing fantastic photo opportunities of the city's skyline and surrounding vistas. This historic mode of transportation has been running for almost 150 years and is a must-see attraction in Pittsburgh. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views from both the cable car and the observation deck at the top station, where there are also exhibits detailing the incline's history and its significance to Pittsburgh.
Very beautiful and historic place. The incline has been running since the 1800's. Its been a must see location in Pittsburgh for many years. My son and I went for our 1st but not last visit. The views of the city are spectacular. Many different ways to get great photos. On the cable car and at the top on the observation deck. At the top there are lots of exhibits that outline some of the history of the incline and cars. It also depicts interesting history of Pittsburgh. It is so cheap that a family could afford this fun and educational excursion. Ill definately be back with more of my family. Take cash and exact change. A round trip for 2 adults is $10. They are friendly and nice enough to let you go ahead and ride. You can get change at the top. Either from the gift shop or an ATM.

I enjoyed this funicular side trip. The view at the top was nicest part of the trek. Crossing the street from the parking lot felt like a game of Frogger. Up top there’s a few touristy things to see, but not much. I’m biased because I’m comparing this with the many I’ve done in the EU. Overall it was a nice side adventure, but not much to write home about.

Ticket prices r great and it’s a really cool experience. It’s old time feel to it which is cool it’s like u stepped back in time which I always love that feeling. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because when we went their was a group of rowdy teens playing around in the car and shaking it the whole way up the hill making it a little scary to say the least and the staff did nothing about it. But we will definitely be returning again

I didn't enjoy my visit for several reasons: 1. You have to pay for parking, which costs $5 for 2 hours. 2. I came with my wife and kids (13, 10, and a baby in a stroller). It was very hot, and we all felt tired. We had to wait in a long line to buy tickets, and they only accept exact cash. 3. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with one lady shouting instructions through a microphone. 4. The gift shop at the top was small and sold trivial items. This place needs updating. They should accept credit card payments, have a website for advance ticket purchases, and add air conditioning—it was unbearably hot.

Make sure you have exact change in cash! $2.50 each way so $5 per person. No change or credit cards here. Great view of Pittsburgh and some cool spots to check out at the top of Mt Washington

Ride the cable car At Duquesne Incline and see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh So whenever you see pictures of Pittsburgh, I am sure you are looking it downtown with and cable car in the foreground. it is easily one of the best things to do in Pittsburgh. From the cars, there are great views out over the city. Once used to transport workers all the way back since the 1800s. they are still using two original 1877 cable cars, the Duquesne Incline is a working museum, with the upper station providing photos and displays on the history of the incline. at the top, you can also see the working mechanism, wheel, and all. I don't know if it is the norm, but there was a guide in our cabin and he gave a brief idea about incline history, and how it come into the picture. Duquesne Incline was rescued and restored by a group of local residents in 1963 and still delights residents and visitors with its original, elegant, wooden cable cars Parking: $10 and that's valid for 24 hours. Parking is more expensive than tickets which are just $5. You don't pay at the counter, you put the exact amount in a cylindrical box (nobody checks what you are putting in the container). a counter lady comes in a while and shoves it with a stick. i have never seen a system like this. if you want to experience a slice of the city’s long history, go for it.

Rode the incline up and down as part of an excellent sightseeing tour offered by Molly's Trolleys. There is a panoramic view at the top of Pittsburgh from the north side. The ride is in a no-frills vintage car and there are antique photos in the waiting area.

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh is housed in a grand building and features an impressive collection of dinosaur fossils, sea creature fossils, and minerals. The museum is one of the four Carnegie Museums in the city and offers extraordinary exhibits. Visitors can also explore the adjacent Carnegie Museum of Art, The Andy Warhol Museum, and the Carnegie Science Center for a diverse cultural experience.
It was awesome my first visit to Natural museum of history. Lots of things to explore about extinct animals and lots of information about older generation. A fun place for kids too but there are no much activities for kids. If kids don't mind exploring history than it would be fun for them. Nearby you have cathedral of leaning which is awesome too for prospective of building and architecture. Parking is decently priced being in downtown area. I recommend it for family with kids to be there.

If you like reading and stopping at every display, you should plan to spend more than one full day here. As two nerds from out of state, my husband and I loved every moment here. The dinosaurs were like nothing we've seen before and the geology exhibit was super cool. I loved that there were placards near exhibits that are now considered out of date in some way (native American culture and the fossil fuel areas, for example). This is easily one of the best museums I've ever visited. This museum was so captivating that we came back for a second day, only to find out it was closed all day due to a private event. I wish there had been signage or staff letting us know :( Hence the four star review.

Excellent experience wear some comfortable shoes dress light. Lots of walking and they do have an elevator for ones in wheelchairs or strollers. Once you park in the garage the museum is on level 6 the elevator is a long wait but worth it. You can not leave the parking garage with cash they only take credit cards. Minimum is $10.00. Went today Saturday collage kids everywhere. Enjoy

This is a great experience for those who not only love natural history, but also love the architecture of the gilded age! The natural history exhibits are informative, but not exhausting, giving enough information about scientific discoveries and processes without boring the public. The dinosaurs are some of their most impressive displays, showcasing a variety of species including the famous tyrannosaurus rex, to which this one is the holotype specimen, meaning that it is the first to be recognized as a tyrannosaurus and the gold standard that others use to compare other specimens. The mammal exhibits detail natural life from all around the world, and many of course highlight the local wildlife (western Pennsylvania and specifically the laurel highlands). The bug exhibit was also an impressive collection. The only complaint that I had was that the art museum and the natural history museum were difficult to navigate, though their collections were also impressive despite the Ancient Egyptian exhibits being closed. The gems and minerals were also one of the most elaborate displays of them that I have seen with the exception being the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Overall, this is a great museum for those who want to learn about natural history in the local region as well as around the world.

Fantastic, magical day the Natural History Museum. Some of the absolute best dinosaur displays Ive seen. Breathtaking exhibit. Also an incredible Bird Hall. The Hall of American and African Animals is also fantastic. We were very excited to see the Egyptian Exhibit, but it was sadly closed. The section with gems and minerals to enormous and had we had more than a day to do the museum we would have spent more time exploring that as well. There is a cafe in the basement that had a nice selection of hot and cold items. The store was really comprehensive. Parking was very expensive which seemed excessive given its on top of the cost of getting into the museum. But overall it was worth it. If you take the elevator mind the note inside the elevator that tells you what floor to use for the Museum. Of note, one ticket gets you into BOTH the Museum of Natural History and the Art Museum and both are under the same roof. You can explore each one and the stores are very close to each other.

The family and I had a fantastic time. There is so much to see that you would have to go back a second time just to see everything. The children and wife were ecstatic. The stone and gem area was really cool too. The boys loved putting the pots together in the Egypt area. I don’t wanna say anymore. I don’t want to ruin the experience for you. The Senator John Heinz History Center, located in the revitalized Strip District of Pittsburgh, is a six-floor museum that offers a comprehensive look at the history of western Pennsylvania. As an affiliate of the Smithsonian, it features diverse exhibits and archives that cover various aspects such as the region's prominence in glass production, its innovative contributions to industries like steel and healthcare, and a dedicated section for the western Pennsylvania Sports Museum.
What a wild musuem. Six floors. Tons of exhibits. Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania take top billing, but there is so much more. The Western Pennsylvania two-floor sports exhibit is wonderful. The Mr. Rogers collection brought back loads of childhood memories.

Stumbled upon this gem during our stay in Pittsburgh from our of town and the kids simply loved it. From the sports floor to the Heinz ketchup floor, there was something for everyone. The gift shop had so many cute little finds and the cafe was convenient. The parking lot next door was perfect and it was not too crowded so you were able to take lots of cool photos. I recommend this museum to anyone.

A Great Day at the Senator John Heinz History Center From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew this was going to be a special visit. The building itself, a beautifully restored warehouse in Pittsburgh’s Strip District, felt like the perfect backdrop for the incredible stories inside. Six floors of exhibits stretched out before me—each one drawing me deeper into Western Pennsylvania’s rich history. The Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood exhibit was a personal highlight. Standing in front of the original set pieces—King Friday’s castle, X the Owl’s tree—I felt a rush of nostalgia and a genuine smile I couldn’t hide. Just steps away, I wandered into the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, where I found Franco Harris’ cleats from the “Immaculate Reception” and Mario Lemieux’s skates. Even as a casual sports fan, the pride and excitement in that space were infectious. I loved how interactive everything was—touchscreens, hands-on displays, and even a chance to peek behind the scenes in the Visible Storage area, which was like discovering a secret treasure trove of artifacts. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic, eager to share extra stories that brought the exhibits to life. By the time I left, hours had flown by, and I still hadn’t seen everything. Luckily, my ticket was good for two days—because one visit simply isn’t enough. The Senator John Heinz History Center isn’t just a museum—it’s an experience that makes you feel connected to the past while celebrating the spirit of Pittsburgh today.

What an informative history center! I love that it is a Smithsonian affiliate and incorporated local history and US History. We didn't visit the 3rd floor kid's zone, but the fact that kids are free and there are exhibits dedicated to just them is so fun! So much to see! We had to come back the next day to explore all the floors. Admission is valid for 2 days which is great. Everything from transportation, architecture, inventions, music, industry, mining, 2 floors of all kinds of sports and even a peculiar exhibit of quite random items. So much fun! They have elevators, clean restrooms, a café and a gift shop. Paid parking nearby, we parked at the Alco Vision Garage.

First time here in my many Pitt visits. The special exhibit was a lot of curious and interesting items pulled from the archives. One floor was dedicated to Pittsburgh sports. It was great seeing all the memorabilia, especially the Penguins items with Fleury's retirement game being held that weekend. They had a very nice section on glass produced in PA, the timeline of Heinz itself, and Mr Roger's Neighborhood and other interesting antiques. I spent a few hours wandering the 5 floors.

This is one of the biggest history museums I have been into with the exception of the Smithsonian history museums. There are five floors of exhibits about western Pennsylvania history. There are displays of the first jeep ever created, a Heinz cart, and many other interesting artifacts when one walks through the doors. The first floor explores anomalies in their collections that will amuse people. The second floor has their sports museum, detailing the history of sports in western Pennsylvania, including national and local football, baseball, hockey, racing, boxing, and various other sports that remain important to the identity of this region of the state. The third floor encompasses more of the sports museum and a discovery center for kids. The fourth floor explores the slave exhibit on how western Pennsylvania dealt with the horrors of slavery and former slaves and people of color who challenged the racial hierarchy of the nineteenth century onwards. There is a special collections gallery detailing the history of the various immigrants in the country as well as original set pieces of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. The fifth floor was the special exhibit detailing the history of the French and Indian War, and how important western Pennsylvania was in shaping future events that led to a world war. The staff was very friendly, and if people desire, there is a small cafe where one can grab a quick bit to eat as well as a gift shop filled with many books, shirts (ketchup ones especially), and knickknacks that one can collect. Overall, this is a must stop destination for those who love history, considering it was voted as the best history museum in the United States last year!

Just walking in the entrance and seeing the architecture took my breathe away (such a beautiful building). I couldn't believe how much there is to see in this museum. SIX floors filled with so much history. Definitely plan to spend a whole day here to be able to take it all in.

Stadium
Sights & Landmarks
Acrisure Stadium, formerly known as Heinz Field, is a 68,000-seat steel stadium located in Pittsburgh. It serves as the home ground for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers football teams. Whether you're a dedicated fan or just there for the vibrant atmosphere and classic concession snacks, attending a game at this iconic venue is an experience not to be missed.
Stadium Tour: Incredibly well organized and worth the nominal fee charged for this privileged experience. Ran on time, used all 90 minutes promised, received so much history and learned about the NFL’s growth in technology too. Amazing to be in the locker rooms and being able to walk on the field; Steelers Nation’s hallowed ground. Jim was a phenomenal, passionate, patient tour host who had the perfect balance of knowledge, humor and the ability to keep all age groups/physical capabilities engaged. Without exaggeration, it was perfect!

Sunday 10/12/2025 Steelers Acrisure stadium I took my daughter to her first NFL game! We are loyal Steelers fans! I’ve noticed a lot of settle changes in the remodels that they have done from the changeover from Heinz Field prior to 2022! It is still very family atmospheric and electrifying! I’m absolutely astonished how clean it was for the volume of people that were in attendance for this big rivalry home game against the Cleveland Browns! I want to think of everyone that was able to make this experience very special impossible for my daughter I recommend anybody even if you’re not an NFL fan or Pittsburgh Steelers fan to visit the new Acrisure stadium it is home to the Pittsburgh Panthers as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and they also host tours in addition to other events as well, which you can check on their website! I rate the overall experience five stars, but I would give it the whole galaxy if I could! Absolute perfection!

Wasn't too impressed by the numerous daylight games I've been to here, but Sunday night games have a great atmosphere and energy that make them pretty fun. The food is definitely pricey, though that’s expected for an NFL stadium. The biggest downside has consistently been the lines, both for the restrooms and for food. It’s not unusual to wait 15 minutes just to use the restroom during the game, and I can’t imagine how bad it gets at halftime. I will say, the line to enter the stadium through security was significantly quicker than my last visit, which was a plus. Overall, it’s not a top 10 NFL stadium, but it’s serviceable.

Omfg what a huge experience we've had today and not to mention the Steelers pulled a win today against the Cleveland Browns!! Our seats was section 135 row B, behind the Steelers!! I will add one more photo we got a signature from #41 Wilson (was hoping for Watt and Rogers🥰 but no!). Very sweet man to sign it!! We are definitely coming back but next time sitting in front row!! The drinks for a can of beer was $16. I literally took sips that i should added a nipple cause it took me through the game!!😂 The prices for the tickets was steep but seeing my family's faces enjoying the game was so worth it!!🥰 as always LETS GO STEELERS!!!❤️💯🏈🎊

The absolute best time of our life. We spent our anniversary for a Ravens Game Vs our Steelers 10 years ago. Having grown up my whole life in Dallas, as a Steelers fan it was amazing. So here we found ourselves wanting to experience it again for our anniversary. The stadium and fans did not disappoint. Looking forward to our next trip to Pitt. Hope it doesn't take 10 years!

Was a great experience, fast service! Piercing on food and drinks were better then most stadium I've visited. The outdoor tailgating doesn't disappoint Pittsburgh knows how to PARTY! Visiting as the oppositing fan was fantastic the steelers fans were very nice and accepting.

The staff there was very friendly and letting us know where our seating was. I had a great experience in my first Steelers game. My girlfriend brought me tickets for my birthday. It was great even though I'm a New Orleans saints fan by heart, but I have become a Steelers fan.

First this last Saturday for the Pitt/ND football game. Prepaid parking across from the stadium. Great location and views, concession stands and selection was great. No ushers and very limited help to find gate and seats. This created a lot of movement etc. lots of standing in No Standing areas by stairs. Showing its age. Inside beer sales for a college game not a good idea!

PNC Park is a picturesque baseball stadium located on the riverside, hosting Pittsburgh Pirates games. The area around the park offers various attractions such as restaurants, retail shops, and world-class museums like the National Aviary and the Andy Warhol Museum. Visitors can also enjoy tours focusing on the history of the Rebellion with a cocktail and tasting flight included.
One of the most beautiful ball parks. If you’re in are coming here do not forget the stadium is outside and many of the seats are in the sun! Catch a day and night game so you can see the skyline during both times of day. You’ll be walking along the Roberto Clemente bridge and the view of the bridges from here are excellent. So many good photo ops. Highly recommend catching a game here!

PNC Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the country! Getting there is incredibly easy – it’s just a short walk from downtown Pittsburgh, and the area around the stadium is very walkable. Entry into the park was smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. The ballpark itself is beautiful with plenty of concessions available throughout. As expected at a major league park, food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the variety of options makes it worth it. The views are absolutely spectacular – you get an amazing backdrop of downtown Pittsburgh and the river, which adds so much to the game-day atmosphere. Even if your seats aren’t the best, PNC Park has plenty of areas to move around and take in different perspectives of the game. From the outfield concourses to open standing areas, every angle seems to offer a great view. Overall, the combination of easy access, great amenities, and one-of-a-kind views make PNC Park a must-visit for any baseball fan or visitor to Pittsburgh.

The stadium has good history, atmosphere. Easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. This was the only stadium that the usher wiped down my seat so far. We've been to several. Nice area, worth the trip. It was kind of confusing to walk around inside the stadium to check it out. Before we sat in our seats.

This is my favorite ball park. We travel the country just to see baseball stadiums. This is a great place. The view... the people. MLB has to do a better job with the food but the prices are below average and if you go when the gates open drinks were on happy hour prices. The ushers were great. This is the one ballpark that you want to sit higher up on the first base line so you have a great view. Normally I like to sit as close as I can to the field but the view is worth the sacrifice and the tickets are way cheaper. Take in as many games as you can while you're there.
Mike W — Google review
Calling yourself the Best Ballpark in America takes some big ones. Being an SF Giants fan, I might have to disagree. I attended a Sunday afternoon game here, was a rather warm day, but my seats were soon in the shade and I was able to enjoy the rest of the game. The views are quite stunning, it’s a perfectly situated ballpark. My only complaint was that the concessions weren’t as special as the park.
Dennis P — Google review
The best baseball views in the country. The concourses are open and have lots of food and drinks available. Large bathrooms, easy to find seating. The exterior has lots of foor and bar options and the walk over the Clemente bridge makes for a great outing.

Best ballpark in the world with the best view of Pittsburgh! The employees are all very friendly- everyone at security, to the elevator operators or the vendors all make you feel immediately welcomed and seem very proud to work there. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking which is anywhere from $25-$40 on game day. The lots fill up quickly, so be prepared for a walk from the parking lots or garages surrounding the stadium. Food prices are also outrageous but there’s a lot of choices. I ordered the a slice of “world-famous” Caliente pizza which was huge and equivalent to two slices and cost $12 a slice. It was very good and also very greasy! All in all, if you’re a baseball fan, add this ballpark on your list to visit…you won’t be disappointed!
Tricia P — Google review
This is a beautiful park. It's clean and the staff were all friendly. Even the fans were kind and helpful. The surrounding area is nice and felt safe both before and after the game. There are a lot of great eateries and attractions around the stadium. The whole package makes for a great experience.

The institution offers educational programs and conservation projects aimed at fostering connections between animals and people.
If you end up spending over 5 hours on your first visit here, you know it was a good time. What i loved most was how well the enclosures were made in natural environments. It was like walking through nature while stopping to view a variety of animals. Kyle really enjoyed everything as well. The layout is really well thought out. A couple minor drawbacks were highly congested areas that just didn't have much viewing area for the crowd mass. It was busy and very congested in a few areas. We also waited 30 minutes for a pizza order. Otherwise overall great visit, well worth the price of admission.
Matthew T — Google review
Staff is nice. So much is closed or under construction. This is pretty small for what they charge. The now have reciprocity with other zoos. A few years ago the lost their accreditation. Tigers, lions, elephants are there right at the beginning. The aquarium is nice but not amazing.

It was my first time there. I have been hearing a lot about this place from my daughter who has been living out here for many years. She always wanted to get me there and she and her fiance got me there. I absolutely loved it. We spent the entire day there just immersed in the fish and animals. Even though there was construction going on, it was still a very special day. I learned some interesting things about some of the animals which was a true benefit. The place is exciting, busy and well worth going.

Great size zoo with lots of animals to see, as well as kid-friendly things like play areas. It is quite hilly (it is Pittsburgh after all!) but scenic and a good way to spend a family day. The food is ok, actually has more options than many zoos I've been to. We ate at the Jambo Grill. There was a bit of a wait for food, but it was tasty enough and we LOVED sitting outside and watching the giraffe and zebras as we ate.
Gabrielle L — Google review
I felt so disappointed with my recent and first time visiting the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium last Saturday. There was an event going on, "Zoo Boo" or something like that, so obviously there were lots of people and kids. There was some parts under construction, too. I wish there were more staff wandering around as it looked chaotic with the people walking everywhere. There were less animals that were out and it makes me really sad. I hope they are all okay though. Location wise, it was super crowded in the parking area that some people even parked in the grassy field. There weren't a lot of signs and directions so it can be a little disorienting navigating the whole zoo. Now I don't know if it were just the time of the year, but there weren't a lot of animals around and outside when we visited. Shocking to realize there were no bears in sight at all. Nice to see some tigers, lions, cheetahs and others, though. The souvenir shops were nice and well stocked. Just a bit pricey. They sell animal stuffed toys that are not even in this zoo. 🥲 Anyway, I'd still come back here im the future, and enjoy the area. Hopefully I will be able to change this review and give it 5 stars.
Thea — Google review
It's a really nice zoo. I would have given it more stars but quite a few exhibits were closed. Still had to pay full price and they closed at 4pm, which made it feel like you had to rush through the zoo.

Attended the 2025 Jack-o'-lantern Extravaganza. There was a train and carousel ride, and what felt like billions of jack-o'-lanterns. Also consumed a spiked hot apple cider, and let me tell you... Definitely helped keep my hands and throat warm during the walk through. Overall, it was a decent evening. Didn't get to see any animals (after dark). The Pittsburgh zoo is always on my recommended list!
Michael D — Google review
It was an amazing place! My daughters and I had a blast. The only reason for 4 stars is the fact the most of the monkey and bear exhibits were empty. For the price I paid I wanted to see more animals and less empty exhibits

Classic, circa-1950 drive-in offers 4 outdoor screens for parked viewing, plus hot dogs & ice cream.
My husband and I love going to the Dependable Drive In! The prices are reasonable (2 movies for the price of 1!) and the food is pretty good. I wish there were some more healthy options for food as I have some dietary restrictions. But I will say I've brought in salad and healthier options for myself and never been scolded, although it's against the rules. We have even gone to in winter and had a great time! I recommend going early to get set up in a great spot and having extra time to grab food before the rush, relax, and spend time with your family before dark.

Love this place! Great memories as a kid! I just went back for the first time in years and felt the waves of nostalgia hit me. The drive in movie experience is like no other and Dependable Drive-In Theater lives up to its name. I love the old school and preserved charm of the place. It’s exactly the way I remember it. They do a great job of taking care of the place. The snack bar and food hit the spot during that intermission . The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Everyone does their job and greets you with a smile and they all had a friendly disposition. I really enjoyed my time there and I will definitely be going back before the summer ends. Thank you for the experience and thank you for keeping this place running smoothly after all of these years and thank you for all of the great memories.

The fun outing of days gone past, somewhere that you can see a double feature for $10 per person, and eat all the pizza, nachos, candy, and miscellaneous other delicious snacks that are so bad and yet so delicious. I definitely recommend bringing the family out for an old-fashioned movie night.

I always love it when I go here. You have to come a little early if it’s during busy times to get a good spot. The double feature is amazing, giving you the perfect set of movies. Screen one and two have the biggest screens and availability for spots.

A great price for 2 movies. Been going to this location since I was a little boy. And will continue to as long as I'm here.

Amazing, had an amazing date with my girlfriend and the movie was awesome. Had a very classic drive in vibe to it. The station that you tune in to had perfect sound quality and the display looked awesome. Only issue is people randomly beeping their horns and turning on headlights...Can't blame the drive-in for the ignorance of the other people there because there where plenty of warning and displays that say not to do those things. but mostly a great experience.
Benjamin M — Google review
It's always a good time. Got there about ten after seven and got right in. Got a great spot near concessions. Took a while for the radio station to come on, but that's no biggie. Rain blew over before show, giving us a nice rainbow.

One of the coolest and most necessary places in the Pittsburgh area. It’s a wonderful venue that is cost effective for families and date nights. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the food ain’t half bad either. You need to spend a few nights of your life at the place. Take some camping chairs or mattress for the pick up truck and settle in for an awesome night. They even have a jump kit in case your car battery dies!! We love it here. You will too.

Old Economy Village is a well-preserved 19th-century village established by the Harmonist religious group. Visitors can experience the lifestyle of the Harmony Society and explore homes and working buildings. The village offers educational demonstrations such as blacksmithing and rope making, along with opportunities to churn butter and bake bread in a brick oven. The museum provides informative exhibits, including taxidermy animals. Visitors praise the friendly and knowledgeable volunteers who are passionate about sharing history.
We visited today for the Bicentennial and had a great time. There was lots to do and every building was open for a tour. Everyone was very kind and took the time to engage and talk with us about the society. There were lots of vendors, an indigenous speaker who told wonderful stories, and even a printer demonstrating his skills. Even my kids had a great time! Some of these rooms were also used in the movie The Pale Blue Eye.

Great historic site with lots to see and experience. The visitors center is large and has nice exhibits, plus an informative video. Then the village itself (which is a couple of blocks over), has historic buildings and informative enactments to explore. There’s also a lovely garden.
K R — Google review
The grounds are easily walkable between the visitor center and the historic buildings, spread out over a few blocks, around 6 acres total. Guided tour lasted about 1.5 hours, with lots of information and access to otherwise secure buildings. Garden and full tours are available, all at more than reasonable prices. $10 per adult for full tour is well worth twice that. Visitor Center, tour shop, wood shop, print shop, even passing by staff, everyone is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.

I love stopping here and shopping all the buildings. There’s always something new and unique to find. In the spring, the greenhouse is full of plants for your garden and flowerbeds. The allergy friendly store up the hill is amazing if you have food allergies.

This place is a joke. Security patrols the rows like you’re stealing, shaking you down if you dare taste an apple while picking. You’re rushed in and out, there’s barely any space to pick from, and they only let you grab one single type of apple even though other kinds are clearly ripe. The whole thing is very transactional. They only care about squeezing as much money out of you as possible. Zero charm, zero fun. Honestly we would’ve had more fun in a grocery store. In other words, a total tourist trap.

Venue is great! Party areas are available to be rented out!! They also will accommodate disability and handicapped patrons, by calling a head of the show to reserve a table. Sound is great. Close experience no matter where you are in the venue. Food is good. Friendly staff. Always have a great time! They do check bags and ID everyone coming in.

This is a pretty groovy place. Everybody had a great time, except for some rowdy drunks. The waiters and manager didn't tolerate it and made them leave. Nice to know that's not allowed, so other people can enjoy the show. Saw the Four Horsemen, absolutely spectacular, couldn't tell the difference between them and Metallica. They also played some Megadeth. It was very, very, very loud. The waiters were very friendly, we had to use hand signals during the show. Which lasted around 2 and a half hours. The brownie delight was excellent. This place and its food is worth a stop.

We saw the band Filter here, the Depeche Mode tribute band “Strange Love”. And the band Orgy. We bought early entry tickets and had a great table with a perfect view of the stage for Filter. The food was fantastic, having a table was a great experience, the sound quality was excellent. Great wait staff. We will be back for any shows, I recommend this place to everybody.

Really a great venue, lots of parking. Easy to get into and comfortable. If you're buying tickets, the early entry is usually the way to go. Although early entry starts at 6:00 and the shows don't start till 8:00, which means you're sitting there for 2 hours eating or drinking. I'd prefer early entry just means you get reserve seating. Food is limited on their menu but the portions and the taste are excellent

There was no security or ticket checkers at all. Had to find my own theater room. I don't mean this as a complaint about the cinema, rather a brag about the township it's located in. An easy, trusting place is Cranberry Township. Back to the cinema, the chairs reclined. The rooms were small and clean. I liked it and will be returning.

A nice theater to visit having both luxury and standard seating theaters. I love the reclining seats in the luxury theater and it is worth the little bit extra. I made a mistake when I chose my seats and instead of getting seats in the back they were on the 2nd row. But with the reclining seats we were very comfortable to watch the movie.

Beautiful and delicious chocolates in a beautiful store with amazing employees. Great local business to support

I grew up with Rosalind candy and now so have my kids! I absolutely love this place, customer service is great! Every holiday I but candy for my family, they love it! Except this year when I bought chocolate covered pretzels, they were stale, very disappointed. Usually never have any issues. I will still continue to go here, maybe just not buy chocolate covered pretzels again 😞

Being fairly new to the brand Rosalind chocolates, I purchased a 1lb box of Rosalind Nutmeat Assortment for an anniversary gift. This box of chocolates was top notch! Beautifully packaged, wonderful assortment, and the taste was AMAZING. Smooth, creamy, fresh and delicious. I've had their French Mint and Peanut Butter Meltaways, and the Pecan Carmanettes are life changing!!! They are that good! I am very glad Rosalind Candy Castle is selling at a nearby market in my hometown. Rosalind boxed chocolates are 1st Class 100%.

Have always loved the place. (grew up in the area). Always have to stop when nearby. Best candy around. Love the car (driver does not carry extra chocolate around). Employees are wonderful too.

Amazing to actually see the history I only read about. Excellent displays along with very knowledgeable volunteers make this a great place to visit. I brought my 13 year old daughter and she loved it. Just seeing all the names of the crews lost during WW2 was humbling. The toll the 8th AF took was put in perspective. So glad I visited

The place definitely feels like a non-profit free museum, but that's not bad at all. Some places spend their time keeping the planes pretty, but they're husks of their former glory. This place keeps the history alive. Keeping these sleeping giants intact and as functional as they're allowed. The volunteers there are eager to explain and talk, more than happy to answer questions, and just excited to see the history live on. It's nice to see that, a genuine feeling. Definitely worth going and seeing!

Very nice little museum. The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the planes they have. The same volunteers even fly some of them to air shows. With the county air port next door you can watch small aircraft take off and land.

Help Save Their Warbirds became a member so they can keep the doors open! They cannot survive without your help and support. Any amount of donations will also help them restore many projects going on year round. Here are some pictures from my last trip here! Enjoy Pics4yinz ~ Roscoe

This museum was absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend and I recently visited and spoke with Dale, a knowledgeable man who gave us a tour of the place and talked with us in great detail about the planes and their history. My partner is a plane fanatic and it was great to see him light up with joy at how good of a time he had here. I absolutely recommend it to anyone, even if you don't particularly like planes, because you may just find out you're having a good time after all.

Terrific place and the Gentlemen were so welcoming and patient with my 2 grandsons who had 100's of questions they were very helpful. It's free But is also wonderful if you are able to make a donation either to an aircraft of your choice, the whole museum or even both.. I feel it's a pretty amazing and educational experience for kids.

Awesome up close and friendly folks keeping history alive and doing it exceptionally well. Multiple aircraft from props to jets. Knowledgeable staff and well taken care of displays. Highly informative and educational no admission fee, donations only they offer annual memberships that start @$15/year. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge and keeping such great planes flying.

I have had some of the best chicken wings all across the United States - but nothing beats the Cajun Ranch wings at Front Door Tavern. They don’t skimp on the sauce…this is the most incredible part of it all! The excess sauce adds to the succulent Cajun Ranch taste that is just absolutely out of this world. I have willingly passed up 6 Restaurants down the road from me less than a mile to drive the 40 minutes just to pick these wings up. When I tell you that these wings are so good it’ll make your tongue dance out of your mouth - I mean it. The steak salad is also absolutely delicious, and the burgers are large and phenomenal. Definitely a hidden gem of an establishment!

Good food. Decent drinks. Good atmosphere. But please for the love of God do something about the water. Or buy filtered water for people to drink. I can’t get that taste out of my mouth. Don’t get water - or soda - or food that’s made with a lot of water. I guess it’s a good sales tactic for buying more alcohol, so I’ll give ya that.

This place was a bit of a drive for me but it was worth the trip. Service and food were to notch. Decor was what I expected for a tavern. The local fire department was there asking for donations and I didn't have cash. They were able to add the donation to the tab, very convenient.
