We absolutely loved the self-guided audio tour of St. Luke's Historic Church & Museum. It was wonderfully narrated and very informational. The church building is impeccably maintained and the grounds are quite lovely. We found walking around the historic section of the cemetery, reading the tombstones, to be quite fascinating. It was our great pleasure to be able to meet the Executive Director, John Ericson, and his very knowledgeable staff during our visit. We are grateful for Mr. Ericson's choice to participate in the Museums for All program as it allowed us to be able to visit the property. We highly recommend visiting this Church if you are blessed to be in the area. It's beautiful!

We had a wonderful time on the tour. St Luke's is the oldest in the area, the grounds are beautiful and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Was able to bring our dog bear along.

First, this is one of the few architectural remnants of 1600s in Virginia. It was restored and serves as a reminder of the colonial roots of Virginia and America. Second, because this is a church it is a reminder of the historical reality of Christian religion being pervasive in Colonial Virginia (not just New England). The Anglican vestries were part and parcel of local government. Third, the director of St. Luke's John Ericson is an authority on religion in Colonial Virginia. Highly recommend his FREE lectures. We enjoyed our recent visit with friends. After or before visiting, you can eat and shop in downtown Smithfield which is only 10 minutes away.

Very interesting and informative tour of this church. The oldest brick structure church in Virginia, it was built in the late 1700's. The grounds feature a graveyard in existence since before the construction of the church. Our tour guide was very good. An excellent way to spend an afternoon.

Absolute hidden gem. One of my favorite places in the Hampton Roads area. It's really beautiful and the history is really important.

Brenden(sp?) was a wonderful educator. Full of natural knowledge that you could tell he enjoyed sharing. He was kind and soft spoken and his enthusiasm was contagious. He made the experience what it was and it was so refreshing to hear from someone with his passion for the subject. Your was partially self lead and paced which we enjoyed as we had several slower walkers. Walk way was clear and easy to navigate. We liked having the Audio options at our disposal as we went along. Peaceful and enjoyable experience. Once we entered the church Brenden helped our group inside and allowed us time to look around. He was eager to answer all of our questions and customized his talk to what we were interested in. The history here is incredible and we enjoyed learning about this piece of American history. Kudos to St. Luke’s for finding Brenden our group agrees he’s a gem. Gift shop was cute and offered affordable options in order to be able to take a little something with to remember your day. This was one of, if not the best tours I've ever had of a historic site. Our guide, Brenden, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond and made the entire experience highly memorable. 10/10, highest recommendations

The staff at the center were delightful and cordial at the check-in and provided us with a map and some information. The museum itself was a little disappointing compared to other museums we have visited. Seeing a tent used by George Washington and a writing desk from Cornwallis were the highlights of the museum. This is a ship built inside that you can walk through, but beware of the lower ceiling when entering the darkened area. I had my glasses on my head and hit the ceiling on the way walking inside due to the low light and low ceiling. Thankfully I did not break my glasses since we were on a road trip and I did not have a spare. We purchased passes when we were in Williamsburg, so when we arrived, we were just allowed to go inside. We were not told about any of the tours or even the trolley that went around through the town. By the time we realized what was going on with the trolley, we were already getting to leave town.

A must see as part of the historic triangle and not far at all from Williamsburg. The museum is manageable in 90 minutes or less. There's a short movie at the beginning which is worth watching for historical background prior to seeing the museum. Once outside there's a trolley service that runs every twenty minutes and will take you all over Yorktown and back to the visitors center for free.

A piece of history all should come to know and visit. You could spend hours between viewing the exhibits, watching a 30 minute video presentation in the theater and drive the marked map to see where the battle took place. Totally worth the visit.

If you are a history, buff or looking for something educational and beneficial for you and your family, you have to check out this place. I brought my family here to watch the Canon firing as well as a demonstration on different types of ammunition, used historical facts, and we took the tour of the entire battlefield and ammunition sites. Go to the visitor center first to pay and get your maps and information military get your annual pass here for all federal and state parks. It’s definitely worth spending an afternoon learning about our history, especially in this area.

Great exhibit inside the visitor center that takes through the timeline of the Revolutionary War. As you walk through the "boat" the ceiling does lower so watch your head! Audio tour with an easy download that you listen to as you make way through the battlefield and encampments.

A good place to start on the tour of the battlefield sites that defined America. The Yorktown Visitor’s Center is the perfect starting point for exploring several of the most pivotal sites in American history. The drive from the main road to the center is scenic, offering glimpses of Virginia’s historic landscape before arriving at the center. Getting to the actual center seemed a little confusing as there are arrows describing the car tours to visit various sights when leaving the center. The center is not very large. The exhibits inside are well-organized and interactive, showcasing artifacts from the Battle of Yorktown, maps, uniforms, and weaponry from the era. There is a short film that provides an good overview of the battle and its significance in the history of our American independence. The center also features a gift shop with books, souvenirs, and historical memorabilia. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and offered suggestions regarding various tours that you could take when driving around the area. There are several well-marked signs leading visitors from the center to the surrounding area sites. The driving tours take visitors through key historic sites connected to the Siege of Yorktown (1781) and the broader Colonial National Historical Park. Overall, the Yorktown Visitor’s Center is an great stop, providing an introduction to this historic battlefield and its role in shaping the nation.

Visiting Historic Jamestowne was such an incredible experience! Walking the grounds where America’s first permanent English settlement began truly felt like stepping back in time. The mix of history, archeology, and storytelling makes it both educational and inspiring. The exhibits and artifacts bring the past to life, and the staff/volunteers are so knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history. It’s amazing to see history being uncovered right before your eyes! Whether you’re a history buff or just curious, Historic Jamestowne is a must-see. We left with a whole new appreciation for the roots of our nation. 🇺🇸

We enjoyed everything about this area. The Powhatan village is interesting because it let's us see how they may have lived during this time. The ships are cool. One of the ship captains actually had a pair of prescription glasses made to look like what would have been worn during that period. The settlement area was great with live features like the blacksmith, cooking, setting and musket firing. Absolutely loved the museum! It's informative and well designed.

I give it a 4 star because you don't know that if you want to view old Jamestown (Jamestown Rediscovery, $15 per adult) you have to also purchase the park pass which is also $15 because you have to walk slightly through the park to get to it. They should just say $30 per adult and separate it in the system automatically (2 different entities are being paid). Now that's out of the way. Family had a great time, daughter enjoyed learning Halberds with Captain Brewster. The dig sites were neat to learn about. Ren was our archeological tour guide and seemed to have recited everything I read in the museum verbatim, she knows the timeline well, was friendly along with the rest of the staff, and had a good speaking voice for large outdoor crowds. The history of the place is awesome to learn about. We then went to the main museum and was awed by the size and the technology they put in this museum, better looking than the Smithsonian! Past the main museum is more historical replica outdoor buildings with staff dressed in the time period and showing people how different things were made during that time. There was also a musket rifle firing demo, which is loud. We also looked at the 2 ships at the end of the walk on the pier, which were also well maintained and fun to explore. We did not do the glass blowing house, but will go back and do it again.

This is an amazing place! This is a place in a place in a place. If you come here this gets a little pricey. Jamestown is broken into 3 pieces, there’s the more touristy Jamestown that’s not in the original spot, there’s the actual Jamestown where they are doing archaeological digs and have the original church and where you can see actual artifacts found from the digs, and then finally there is New Jamestown which is from the 1700s and is just ruins. Be prepared to do a lot of walking! It’s beautiful and educational but not for someone who can’t do a lot of walking. This will also take a lot of time, maybe 5 hours or more to do all 3 places. There’s parking at Jamestown museum and then at original Jamestown. All three places you have to pay. I didn’t mind paying for Jamestown museum ($20 a person) and the Original Jamestown ($15 a person). I was annoyed about paying for New Jamestown ($15 a person). You have to pay for new Jamestown and Original Jamestown together. $50 for all of it was a bit much. The only reason I’m ok with it because it helps fund the projects on the 2 sites.

Such a great experience! We saw many historic places as well as a lot of nature! There’s plenty to see so come early! Make sure you took your national parks card if you have one!

This was our first time to Historic Jamestowne. Since we are able, we went ahead and bought the lifetime NPS annual pass, which is valid for admission at all US National Parks. We actually visited two days in a row, the first time to go through the brick and mortar museum and the second day to tour the grounds. Please be aware that there are two sites, the "Old Towne" is owned by the state of Virginia, and the "New Towne" is owned by the National Park Service. Both require separate admission fees. The museum buildings and grounds are well maintained. The museum also has a nice 15-minute overview movie of the origins of the site, including artifact displays. What's interesting is that all of the Native American artifacts have been removed from the exhibits. The walking tour is self-guided. Guided tours are available for an extra cost. Our only mistake was going on one of the hottest days of late June, temps in the upper 90s. The museum has site maps available. However, there are enough placards throughout detailing people and events. Don't expect to see any buildings or recreations that's over at the "Old Towne." The only standing structure is what's left of the Ambler House. Otherwise, you'll only see the foundations for over a dozen structures. With a bit of imagination, one can visualize what it may have been like at the settlement over 400 years ago. We accomplished the walking portion in 30 minutes. If you have time, please take the driving tour on Island Drive. From the NPS Museum, simply take a right out of the parking lot. It's well worth it if you enjoy nature. There's also the 1608 Glasshouse that's available to tour. Check before you visit for times as they have live glass blowing demonstrations. Enjoy!

You just cannot put a value on our historic places. Everyone should see tour the Historic Triangle. We had a great time. We went off peak season so it was very peaceful without being extremely busy. A lot of this is outdoors so prepare accordingly. So worth it!!

Busch Gardens is great. I think parking and food are a bit pricey but it's a theme park, so that is kind of expected. I like all the coasters, but Alpinegiest and Verbolten are my favorites. Pantheon can be unreliable, so expect it not to be running all day. It's about a 2.5 mile circle, with moderate hills, so make sure to have comfortable shoes. There are a few animal exhibits and a couple shows; some seasonal, some run throughout the year, such as Celtic Fyre, which has won some awards. Wait times vary, sometimes they can be up to a hour on busy days, but on an average weekday during the summer, wait times can be less than 10 minutes. Especially when Water Country is in full swing. They do have all day dining options that allow you to get food every 90 minutes. If you time it, it's worth it. There are also a small, Sesame Street themed children's area.

I had a great time yesterday at Busch Gardens. I was there from 1pm until 10pm. Christmastown is absolutely gorgeous! I was disappointed that the top roller-coasters were closed. The lines for other rides were very long and I wished that I had a skip the line pass. It was sunny and 65 degrees. I only got to see the Festhaus show and it was good. Next year I hope to go to Christmastown a few times so I can see all of the entertainment.

Went with our kids and Grandkids today, October 18th 2025 for the first time in our Grandkids life's !!! They have been there three (3) times over the summer with our kids, their parents. Busch Gardens goes back to my childhood !! My father was in Broadcast Television as the president of the CBS Affiliate TV Station in Roanoke, VA !! I was there on the first day of its opening, and my sister and I rode the "Loch Ness Monster" in the first two (2) hours of opening !! It is truly the Most beautiful park in the Country. Has the best rides, nicest staff through the years, and a Must Go to Theme Park !!! So now the tradition moves on to the Grandkids and they truly, truly, truly love it and had a great time today !! They were talking about it as they went to bed. Telling their funnest moments and what they are going to do the next day !! They love The kids areas. The Dragon tree house, "Grouch's Worm ride" and "The Big Bad Wolf": "The Wolf's Revenge !!" And the "Loch Ness Monster". Our Kids Love "Pantheon", "Griffon", "Tempesto", and the all time Fav of our kids and My wife and I is "Apollo's Chariot" !! A Great time is always had here !! Get Season passes, and if you can the Skip the Line with "Quick Queue". If not do the food, it's worth it. You need to go and enjoy all the NEW rides for 2025. Now it's Howl-O-Scream, our Kids are there and I know are having a great time. I also see where it's open at Christmas now too. Excellent !!

It was my first time at Christmas town at Bush Garden. My friend invited me. We had so much fun to hot chocolate to matching Christmas earrings. She took me around to all her favorites. She really maded my day. I definitely will be back again soon.

This park is beautiful. It’s one of my favorite parks to go to and there are so many reasons why. First of all, Fridays are surprisingly much slower days so I’d recommend going on a Friday and the park is pretty big so wear some comfy shoes. The park is very convenient when it comes to loose articles and it has lots of shade so waiting in queues won’t feel like hell. This park has a European theme to it and they did it very well. The theme and atmosphere of the park is seriously underrated and the rollercoasters there refuse to miss. I’ve gone a number of times and it just seems to get better every time. There’s so much to do at the park and you never get bored. The food is great too but it is gonna still be pretty expensive (but that should be expected at most corporate theme parks). This park in Williamsburg is a must do when you’re in the area as it offers something for babies, kids, teens, adults, and even grandmas. Even if you don’t like rides all that much there’s still a lot of things to do there like catching a show or trying some new foods that are unique in every section of the park. Overall, this park has infinite possibilities with a beautiful atmosphere and an even better ride lineup that has something for everyone from thrill seekers to first timers. 9/10

What a beautiful park! So many big coasters to ride! I loved feeding the lorikeets! And we paid to feed “Poppy” the highland cow. We loved it!! This park is beautiful and well kept. It’s a lot of walking so be prepared. I wish we would have planned two days at this park. We had a coaster pass so that was helpful. Bummed the biggest coaster here was not running.

Busch Gardens is a beautiful theme park, however you will walk. If you have directional challenges, be ready to ask the park workers which I had to do numerous times 😂. The great thing is that every attendant knew the park like the back of their hands. Our party ate at Trappers (which is my go to when I visit BG@W). The Rhine River cruise in my opinion is always delightful. I would give 4 stars, except for the fact, 1. the wait time for rides is long (which we knew would be the case), but the ride times are extremely short compared to the wait. There was a point, when one of the rides was over, the look on people's faces seemed to say, "This is it?" BG@W only takes certain payment, so if you use a digital wallet, you'll need to know your pin number. Kiosks are available to convert cash to a Visa prepaid credit card. Like any other theme park, souvenirs, food, etc. are pricey, so make sure to plan accordingly. Overall, BG@W is a beautiful, clean, scenic fun family spot, with helpful, courteous attendants.

I am so glad we choose Jamestown. We had an incredible day and learned so much. All the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. So much to see and do, my kids loved the hands on exhibits and learning from those who were dressed in colonial times outfits. We spent a full day exploring here.

I really enjoyed Jamestown Settlement - it's an excellent museum with state-of-the-art exhibits and lots of film presentations to move the narrative along. There's a big building with ticketing, a restaurant and gift shop, then a long corridor of exhibits that take you through time and introduce certain historical characters. At the end of the building, you go outside to see a native village, a large European settlement, and three ships docked down on the water. It's all really well done with lots of folks around to explain anything you want. You can go inside the buildings and they're all kitted out as if someone were really living there, and you can go below deck on the ships. It's really fun for all ages. First, don't confuse this location with the National Parks Service site of Historic Jamestowne, which is the actual location of the original settlement. This is more the touristy museum recreation of it all. Second, Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown are sister sites and are set up very similarly. Jamestown is the bigger of the two and you can buy a discount ticket for both here. If you buy it online, you get a week's access to both for the same price. Third, when I visited, I mostly wanted to walk around outside, so I did a loop of all the outside parts, then worked my way backwards through the exhibits. I don't recommend that, but you aren't locked into one way of seeing everything. Bathrooms are at the ticketing area, at the end of the exhibit hallway, and at a restroom & snack stand nearer the boats.

Beautifully crafted and well-versed staff with a phenomenal experience of where everything started and how history effects are every day Lives. You don’t have to be a history buff to come here to explore. well worth taking in the past so we can help understand the future. Especially enjoyed the recreation of buildings Otterson tools must get firing and in-depth knowledge of characters and staff on premises. Cheers.

Had a good time at the museum. It was a nice walk out to the boats thru the villages. The people dressed and worked like they were from that time period it was really neat to see. The only thing I would have changed would have been someone giving out information about what building you were at as you walked by. For any information you would have to ask the person working nearby and it felt as if you were interrupting them from their work, although I'm sure that was not the case. The place was filled with lots of different things to look at and places to go into. We also went inside one of the ships. I saw a couple crew members climbing the mast to let the sail down. That was scary to watch and I thought that must have been scary to do on the open ocean a long time ago. I am thankful my son is into history and wanted to visit this place. We had a good time here. We also got some souvenirs in the gift shop. The gift shop was big and had lots of items to choose from.

My family had so much fun at Jamestown, my oldest and I could have stayed twice as long reading everything inside the indoor museum portion and questioning all of the reenactors but the younger ones got bogged down after a bit. They did however really enjoy all of the outdoors exhibits! It was a lot of fun for those aged 5-40!

We brought our kids (ages 13, 10, 8) to this place because of the living history component. It was great! Clean and easy to follow the paths. Plenty of activities and guides explaining them. The kids stayed entertained the whole time. The museum was AMAZING. I didn’t expect it to be so nice inside. Well done!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the history that is present here! This is a great place to expose children and history enthusiasts to some of the original history of our great nation. The only thing that I would have liked to see more of is perhaps more reenactment of daily life during the time period portrayed.

If you love history, good food, and ghost tours this is the place to be. You will enjoy being taken back in time when house drawn carriages and folks wearing colonial attire pass by and offer up a good day. The town and restaurants can be busy so plan ahead. Be sure to walk around there William and Mary campus to see this beautiful campus. Tips: make sure to visit the Visitor's Center for tickets, information, shows, and shuttles to Colonial Williamsburg. Buy tickets in advance in order to see inside the different homes, shops, and business. Buy ghost tour tickets before hand and be sure to wear good shoes. Be sure to visit the shops, restaurants, and colonial homes along the Duke of Glouchester Street. Paid parking kids can be finie nearby and within walking distance. The cobblestone walkways can be challenging so wear good shoes.

Had a great time here with the kids. We were able to easily buy tickets ahead of time, and were able to show the tickets from my phone to get into places. Everyone there was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The tours of the buildings were interesting, educational, and fun. Lots of places with bathrooms, snacks, and drinks. Options for a full meal as well. We spent about 5 hours here.

Wonderful old buildings! The atmosphere is wonderful. We did encounter school groups but we were able to keep away. Wish there was more homes to enter and explore. We came on a week day and less activity going on I assume. Trades people were interesting to talk too.

Life changing trip! Went for a whole week in the end of September and already planning the next trip. Don’t skip the palace or the art museum! Stay curious, take your time and be sure to go around every corner and in every open shop. The actors are amazing, the stories are so interesting, asking questions is celebrated and there is so much to explore and experience. Also, the shuttle is so convenient!

Walking the cobblestone streets past restored homes, taverns, and tradespeople at work—blacksmiths, wigmakers, and printers—captures the essence of colonial life. The district is expansive, so comfortable shoes and a map (or the excellent Colonial Williamsburg app) are a must. Highlights included the Capitol and Raleigh Tavern, where I learned about the seeds of American independence. The area is vibrant with activity, from fife-and-drum performances to impromptu historical reenactments, making it engaging for all ages.What truly sets Colonial Williamsburg apart is the storytelling and learning opportunities. The interpreters don’t just recite facts; they share compelling narratives about the diverse people who shaped this era—enslaved individuals, artisans, gentry, and revolutionaries. Programs like the “Voices from the Past” series and interactions at sites like the Peyton Randolph House provided nuanced perspectives on the complexities of colonial society, including its darker aspects like slavery. These stories are thought-provoking and grounded in extensive historical research, making the experience deeply meaningful. Overall, Colonial Williamsburg is a terrific historic site that blends education, immersion, and entertainment seamlessly. I’d suggest allocating at least a full day to soak it all in, and don’t skip the evening programs for an extra dose of charm! Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with America’s roots.

This is a living museum that portrays a version of history around the time of American revolution, painstakenly recreated by concerned researchers and presented as accurately as facts allow, from one perspective - the victors. There are certainly more perspectives of the story to be told as facts come to light, e.g. the natives, the enslaved, the wives and children, and yes, the British all have a part in this story, and their stories deserve to be told, and perhaps they will as more people get interested and get involved. This is not a pretty story. None of the participants wanted to be involved in the events that unfolded. No one lived happily ever after. And yet, the story has not yet ended, as the struggle for freedom of all people continues. The introduction of the American story told at Colonial Williamsburg is extremely well done in a realistic setting by earnest guides and interpreters. We are all part of this story, and everyone should come to Williamsburg to experience this invaluable piece of history. Take your time. Enjoy the story.

The largest outdoor living museum in the USA. A great place to visit whether it’s with the family or a significant other. Everything is very walkable and the aesthetic of the area is beautiful. I highly recommend staying at the Williamsburg Inn.

Mount Vernon earned its name due to its association with United States President George Washington. He lived in various times at this estate. It is basically an agriculture estate on a raised bank of Potomac River. The estate has a nice two storied building where George Washington lived with his family members. There is vast green all around. The property also has the tomb of George Washington. It can be a nice weekend tour. The facility has a museum to exhibit George Washington's stuffs like furniture, crockery, wardrobe etc. The museum and all other facilities are well designed, well maintained, and masterly curated. There are volunteers everywhere. There are guides, narrators, audio visual shows. There are adequate facilities for people with special needs. One needs to walk 2-3 miles at least to see all the exhibits.

My visit to Mount Vernon was truly inspiring 🇺🇸 I loved every part of it — the insightful exhibitions, the beautifully preserved estate, and especially the passionate guides who brought George Washington’s story to life. Walking through the house and gardens felt like stepping back in time. The attention to detail and the way history is shared here make it one of the most memorable visits I’ve had in the U.S. A place full of meaning, learning, and respect for the past. Highly recommended!

First and foremost I would like to thank the staff at the lost and found, someone recovered my necklace and returned it to lost and found and the staff here did everything they could after my girlfriend contacted them via email to ship the item back to me in a quick and timely matter and I really appreciate the staff here for that. Now this was an extremely amazing experience to see George Washington’s home and farm and to learn about his family and life and the slaves that he had working on the farm and seeing his tomb and seeing how beautiful his garden is and Maintained really well by the staff who works here. If you are in the area I would recommend visiting this place, the staff here are very friendly, helpful and it’s obvious they love their job.

We really enjoyed visiting here with our kids (ages 3 & 6). We’ve studied Washington with our schooling and seeing his favorite place really brought history alive. There’s something really amazing about standing on the back porch at Mt Vernon and enjoying the same view he loved standing where he probably stood. Even though the house tour is limited currently it was still worth doing and we highly recommend going. Learning about the way the house was built and how he worked the land was fascinating. Seeing his tomb was special. We went at the end of day and actually saw it with minimal people present. The guides were all helpful and very kind. We quickly visited the other burial grounds for the enslaved people as it was closing time. We appreciated that we could and they weren’t rushing us out.

A wonderfully presented piece of early US history. Although there are main house renovation works going on, it did not spoil the visit to this glorious spot. The volunteers - who are everywhere - keep you well informed of history and everything George Washington. Great food court, museum and shopping before you drive away.

This facility was an agricultural estate adjacent to the Potomac River. The main building was under renovation at this time. They provided you with virtual tour of the main residential building at the beginning. The property has the tomb of George Washington. The staff were friendly and informative. They kept the facility in a beautiful condition. You can access the audio tour through their QR code. The facility does required quite a bit of walking if you are interested in seeing all the landmarks.

We had a meeting scheduled with President Washington. His secretary promised he’d spare at least five minutes to talk with us. Instead, we ended up strolling around his estate at Mount Vernon for four hours. His staff were kind enough to show us around, but the man himself was too busy to meet us. No worries, we’ll definitely come again.

We were in the area and wanted to make a quick visit to walk through the battlefield park. The park is very well maintained and stretches out very far. There are several areas with signage and historical information to read about the battlefield. If you’re visiting during the summer months, be sure to bring mosquito spray with you.

What a great place to get exercise, immerse yourself in history, and enjoy nature. There are 2 major trails ranging from 5-6 miles. You can combine them for an entire day walk/hike. They are easy to moderate. There are a few side loops to be able to see more historical structures. There are markers along the way to learn about the significance of each area. It's a history lesson combined with physical activity! I have hiked nearly every inch of this park over the years. This weekend I hiked the First Manassas Trail and the Old Stone Bridge Loop.

Made a quick stop before heading to a concert, definitely will be back. I love history and cant wait to explore more of this area. They have a driving tour and quite a bit of trails to walk through. Beautifully maintained as well.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon, and no ticket is required. The visitor center has a small museum with very nice display of how the battle happened and what happened. It’s meaningful and also beautiful. Would recommend to visit if you happen to be in a nearby area.

A truly moving and educational 5-star experience! The Manassas National Battlefield Park is a phenomenal place to spend the day, and it felt like we were walking right through history. The staff is welcoming and informative, and the visitor center provides an excellent foundation. The highlight of the trip, however, was definitely the guided tour. The park rangers are extremely knowledgeable and bring the area's rich history to life, pointing out iconic spots like the Stone House, the striking statue of "Stonewall" Jackson, and the poignant plaques marking where officers like Brigadier General Bartow fell. Walking past the rows of cannons and along the classic split-rail fences with the wild views was breathtaking. The park has a peaceful atmosphere, but you can feel the incredible history that happened right under your feet. The interpretive signs, like the one about "The Marines Of '61," are also incredibly well-done. Download the NPS app if you want to explore with a self-guided tour—it's a great resource!

Visited during government shutdown. Visitors center and buildings were shuttered. Driving tour of the first battle included 4.5 miles of walking. Park isn't well-maintained and visitors litter / walk past litter. We picked up all we could (but left the dog poop packages). Tragic disregard for history.

Very nice preserved piece of history. There is a lot to see here if it interests you. The inside of the main building has quite a few artifacts and displays. Worth it to check it out if you're in the area.

THIS REVIEW WILL SAVE YOU MONEY. The park closes permanently in November. If you plan to go before it does, buy the standard ticket. I promise there is NO need to buy a fast pass of any kind as the park is mostly empty even on weekends. If you buy a single meal deal, there’s about a $4 cost savings if you order your meal and drink from Jonny Rockets ($28 regular and $24 with the meal deal ticket). My wife and I enjoyed the rides and the theme park, and we hope they build something similar there.

Pretty sad to see this place closing down. I surprisingly had a better time here than SFNE. I just thought that here, everything wasn't crammed into one little space like over there. Although, Six Flags New England has some nice buildings. Back to Six Flags America. It wasn't very crowded. On days where it's busy, the I'll expect the lines to be 2 hours each because these operations are BAD. There were only running one train on half of the coasters and it took them about 3 minutes to dispatch each train. They were only running on gondola on Voodoo Drop and it still took like 2 minutes. I hope their operations get better because this park is closing in less than a month. I did have a great time for my 4 hours there even though it rained (the reason why I only stayed there for 4 hours.) Come check this place out before closing on 11/2/25

I love this place! 🙃🥳My daughter & i will most certainly miss our home state amusement park. I been coming here since I was 9 in the "adventure world" to "wild world" days. I'm very sad to see Six Flags not invest in the park overall that much since 2000. However, what they added since are great flat ride additions. If it got its fair share of investment $ along the years since superman was added, I think it would still have survived the cutting board. What a shame😭 That being said, I hope everyone got their fun in by now. If not, this weekend will be the final hooray! I'm sure we'll be there getting our last kicks in, weather is looking good so far! ✌🏽😎

Despite the park closing permanently very soon, I had a great time here! All the Roller Coasters had no wait on a Sunday, and we got to ride them all a few times. Park was clean, and the shows were good. Operations were quite slow (granted it is closing soon, and no crowds) but still kind of annoying. All the roller coasters were quite fun, favorites being Superman: Ride Of Steel, Jokers Jinx, and Wild One.

I visited this park knowing about the coming closure in November. Overall, it was a good experience and I had some fun. The only downside to my experience was that three out of the eight roller coasters were closed that day. This is a big deal considering there aren’t that many to begin with. The crowds were not too bad and most of the coasters only ran one train. The park is nice and offers some cool places such as the new steam town. On the other hand, there are some areas that do not look well kept. The staff were friendly when running the rides. I would like to come back one day, however, because of the closure I would not return.

I know that this park is closing next month so I went one last time. I was disappointed that Superman: Ride of Steel, and Batwing was closed. I went on 6 rides and the wait time was 5 minutes or less. Ragin Cajun had a longer wait so I didn't go on that ride. I was going to ride Harley Quinn Spinsanity but they were having a problem getting the seat belts to lock so I got out of line. The rides that I went on were very rough. I didn't want to ride them again. I saw 3 shows and they were very good. It's sad that the park is closing but the roller-coasters need to be replaced.

My first time here was the last day the park was open. Kind of hard to believe they'd want to close that park. The grounds were clean, the staff was professional, I even saw a ride operator pick up a piece of trash off of the floor that a guest had dropped. Almost forgot it was a six flags park lol. It just feels like their corporate daddy is deciding to close the park because it's not a big money maker, but it's hard to believe it's losing them money. So much history and large part of people's lives and jobs gone because someone at the top wants to make a quick buck versus putting in the time and money to make it a truly great park. It's sad l and I hope this isn't a repeat of astroworld. Six flags just completed a merger last year with cedar fair so there's a bunch of parks that are close together. Closing this park was just getting rid of some "redundancy." I honestly expect to see more closings where there's another park close by over the next decade or so.

Beautiful experience. I added 4 ☆ because they allow too many people into the museum at once. If you want to read you'll have to plan at least 3 hours ans be extremely patient with the crowds. There were many group tours with young adults yelling and running but some of those things are hard to control. Thank you for a beautiful experience and museum.

It's a place you might want to visit to understand how still WAR is invading out kindness, being deserted from your own house and being separated from your own family. How much hardship those traumatized souls had to go through and how sad they are! those who survived but feeling so helpless that we're not being able to control our problems and still ended up getting into the same WAR.

An incredible experience, the exhibits were thoughtfully planned giving a face to all who was effected. There were several school groups there but you could hear a pin drop as everyone was respectfully going through.

OMG!! This museum blew me away. Whomever curated this beautiful museum deserves an 👏🏾! From the interactive exhibits to being told that there were some persons working at the museum that survived the holocaust. Blown away!! Such an emotional experience.

I fell on my knees before coming inside, thought there would be a place to rest, but only a few places. There were some places to watch video where there were seats and at the end. Good place for history lovers that can stand for an hour. I'm glad I came, but it isn't a place for people with mobility issues.

Wow! What an amazing museum!!! We’ve visited it a few times over the years. Our whole family has always enjoyed it at all ages, little kids, teenagers, and adults alike. There’s hands-on activities for younger kids, and informative displays for adults. We watched a film display and the toddlers next to us found it just as engaging as we did. This museum really is truly great for all ages, and we have found it fascinating after each new visit. We spent 3 hours here, and didn’t even see every display. There’s so much to do and to look at. The staff were so friendly and well-informed. We really enjoyed chatting with them. I’m so happy that we were able to visit. My one piece of advice is to book the free timed-entry tickets as far in advance as possible so that you get the chance to enjoy this amazing experience!

Great museum! If you love aviation you will love this place! They have many airplanes from 747s to DC-3s to a wright flyer. They even have an x wing hanging from the roof! Tons of cool information, including about space flight and space craft. Only complaint is that part of the museum was closed for construction, but it's understandable because they have to renovate it at some point. Get tickets online in advance! Would highly recommend this place!

Great place for being solo, as a couple or family. You need to book your tickets online in advance as there are timed entries to enter. Amazing information, videos and models for explaining various aspects of space and flight travel. Will take about 1 to 2 hours to fully enjoy. Less crowded on weekdays versus weekends.

My visit to the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. was absolutely incredible! Great museum. I didn't know that I can get the timed pass online, so I had to wait there for 15 minutes but that was not a problem for us. Incredible to see the real engines and rockets used for space exploration. My kids were 3,5 and 1,5.. they enjoyed the kids zone, but in general it is a must-go for older kids for inspiration.. we will definitely go again in future..

I went in late June and quite enjoyed my experience. If you are in the area, definitely visit. Unfortunately part of the museum was closed off and the lines were very long (but go incredibly fast). Gift shop is incredible. Exhibits are great, I liked the Northwest 747 the best. Definitely recommend checking out the Apollo Exhibit. I quite enjoyed my experience.

Super interesting museum. Free entry and there is a lot of gun history info as well as displayed guns. Nice staff came around and talked to us about some of the displays and history of some of the guns. If you're into guns, would totally recommend this place!

Very interesting collection of firearms. There is also a number of displays that walk you through firearms development and technology from the past till now. The museum is free and there was plenty of parking.

This memorial is absolutely beautiful and I would've spent hours there had I had the time. Each US state and territory is included and the fountains make the setting very serene. It's definitely worth walking through as you explore the National Mall. You can sit and put your feet in the water but running and playing is not allowed! Please respect national monuments!

Visiting the World War II Memorial was an emotional and inspiring experience. Standing by the fountains surrounded by the pillars and gold stars really makes you pause and think about the sacrifices made for freedom. I went around sunset, and the light made the whole place feel peaceful and powerful at the same time. It’s beautifully maintained and truly honors those who served. A must-see if you’re in D.C.

The World War II Memorial is probably my favorite memorial in DC. The stonework is amazing and the water is beautiful. I enjoyed reading the quotes etched in stone all around the exhibit. This is a great place for reflection and to think about all those who made the ultimate sacrifice. I highly recommend visiting this memorial if you get a chance.

We love going to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History again and again. There is always so much to see, explore, and learn. One of the highlights for us was the African safari animals exhibit. The animals look so real that it feels like you're actually on a safari! It's exciting and fun for both kids and adults. My personal favorite part of the museum was the human evolution section. It was truly amazing to see how humans have changed and developed over thousands of years. The displays show how we’ve evolved from early humans to who we are today. It really makes you think about how far we’ve come as a species. The kids also had a great time exploring different sections of the museum. There are interactive exhibits and interesting facts everywhere you look, so it never feels boring. We spent hours walking around and still felt like there was more to discover. The Smithsonian Natural History Museum is a great place for families, students, and anyone curious about the world. It's educational, fun, and inspiring. We can't wait to go back again and see what new things we’ll learn next time!

Obviously a must see if you're visiting DC! I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty crowded but people were being very respectful and waiting for others to finish to take their pictures. When you get to the top you can see all the way down the National Mall which is great. Unfortunately the bookstore was closed due to the government shutdown, but still fun to check out!

A great place to honor our former president. You will never understand how big it is until to get to the bottom. The best time to visit is close to sunset when the sky is pretty and you can see the full reflection of the Washington monument with amazing colors in the sky. The addition of the ramp although blocks the view from the front, is a good addition for those with strollers.

The Lincoln Memorial is stunning especially at sunset. I didn’t realize how close all the monuments were to each other until I visited; everything is just a short, scenic walk away. As I made my way from the Thomas Jefferson or Washington Memorial to the Lincoln, I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever experienced. The way the light hit the reflecting pool and the memorial itself was just perfect peaceful, powerful, and unforgettable.

What a wonderful experience it was to have visited this truly historical place and to learn about one of the greatest presidents of our time. Reading and Gettysburg address was like stepping back in time and in my opinion is the best speech every written. Please note that there is a lot of walking if you visit Washington DC so really good walking shoes are a must.

A beautiful and powerful reminder of American history.

The Lincoln Memorial is one of Washington, D.C.’s most recognized landmarks, honoring Abraham Lincoln with an impressive structure at the end of the National Mall. It connects easily to nearby attractions such as the Reflecting Pool, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Korean War Veterans Memorial, making it convenient to include in a day of sightseeing. The memorial is open 24/7 and especially striking when illuminated at night. It can be crowded during peak hours, but the space remains respectful and accessible, offering good opportunities to take in the views and history.

It's interesting to read that this memorial was designed after a "healing wound." I think the architect did a good job at bringing that vision to reality. After taking in the Lincoln Memorial, we headed back east and came upon the site which is just off the north side of the Pool. The arrow-shaped memorial wall of smooth, dark, reflective gabbro rock starts at ground level then slopes ever so gently into the earth until its midpoint, where it then gradually rises back up to ground level, with a ton of names engraved along the way. A memorial directory is posted nearby to aide in finding names. Look for a small podium near the entrances/exits. Simple, striking, and beautiful.

The Three Servicemen Statue – A bronze statue by Frederick Hart depicting three soldiers, added in 1984 to complement the Wall. The Vietnam Women’s Memorial – Dedicated in 1993, honoring women (many nurses) who served. The Wall’s shape points toward the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument, linking it to the nation’s history. It's an open air Memorial, you can visit any time.

I found this memorial to be really cool on the evening that I went because they were doing an orange light awareness activity with lots of candles. I also really enjoy how you can see your image reflected in this memorial. If you are by the Lincoln memorial feel free to stop by this one as well!

There was a quiet reverence while walking through this area, it was deeply appreciated. I was there to find a name for my friend; her husband passed in Viet Nam. The volunteers were helpful and offered historical documentation about the Wall.

Years ago I watched a movie called In Country about a young girl searching for information about her father, who was killed in the Vietnam War. I recall the movie as being average at best, but in the final scene, they film real people at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC. It was so moving and difficult to watch I had tears flowing and could not stop. I could also hear several other people in the audience with the same reaction and when the show ended, I just stayed seated for the longest time and thankfully, my wife quietly sat there with me. Just to be clear, I’m too young to have fought in Vietnam but for some reason, it’s something that has been a part of my life since I was a kid. And so when I finally got to visit this amazing place after all these years, I took plenty of time to take it all in. This is a beautiful monument and it’s definitely worth seeing but at the same time, it was so jarring to see how amazing the monument to the Korean War and WWII were. We had such a wonderful time at Medieval Times! The whole experience was full of excitement, energy, and great entertainment. The knights put on an incredible show, it really felt like stepping back into history. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, cheerful, and made the evening extra special. However, our knight, the Blue Knight lost all his battles (just kidding 😄), but we still cheered for him till the end and enjoyed every moment of the show. It was an unforgettable experience for the whole family, and we can’t wait to go back again!

I've been to a few different Medieval Times. This was just like the rest of them, except for one thing. It's located in a mall. Took some time to figure out where the GPS was sending us! The show was fun..and our knight won! Food was decent. Service was good. Everything is SUPER expensive, but was expected. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.

We went to Medieval Times on a whim and were completely blown away! From the moment we stepped into the castle, it felt like we’d entered another world. We were crowned as soon as we arrived and strolled through the grand hall, sipping on a colorful slushee served in a souvenir cup — the perfect start to the evening. The entire production was far more elaborate than we expected — a full-scale performance filled with medieval drama, gallant knights, and incredible horses that truly stole the show. You can tell the cast and crew put their hearts into every moment. The service was just as impressive. Our wench, Heather, was absolutely wonderful — energetic, funny, and on top of everything. The food was a huge (and delicious) surprise. The portions were generous, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. The “baby dragon” (aka roast chicken) was juicy, tender, and fell right off the bone. Between the food, the service, and the live entertainment, this was an amazing value for a full dinner and show. Whether you go for the knights, the horses, or just a fun night out, you’re guaranteed to leave cheering and smiling.

It is pricey. I spent around $300 for 2 adult tickets with upgraded seating and some other package they had. At the event I easily spent another $200 at the souvenir shop. The food wasn't bad at all, but I won't lie. For the price I spent, I was expecting more than half a baked chicken, tomato soup, slice of bread and half a piece of corn. The dessert was some store bought piece of vanilla cake and eclair. The show really wasn't too bad. The lances they just with are designed to shatter and give a better show and the seating is really close. The horses they were showing off were very interesting along with the falcon. Over all it wasn't bad and I feel it was worth the 2.5 hour drive.

I took my son to Medieval Times last night, and we had an incredible experience! The food was decent classic hearty fare that fit the medieval theme but what really stood out was the service and atmosphere. As a disabled veteran, I truly appreciated how kind and accommodating the staff were. They made sure I was seated a little early and comfortable the whole evening, which meant a lot. The show itself was fantastic! The actors put on an amazing performance, full of energy, skill, and enthusiasm. My son was absolutely captivated from start to finish. The entire atmosphere from the lights to the cheers of the crowd made it feel like we stepped back in time. Overall, it was a memorable night, and I’d highly recommend Medieval Times for families or anyone looking for a fun, unique experience. We’ll definitely be going back!

Took my son for a special boys night out. First time either of us have been to something like this and we were surely entertained. The staff made the atmosphere feel like you had stepped back in time. I definitely plan to go back again and bring my entire family.

I took my husband here for his birthday and we had a fantastic time! I can't put all my thoughts on here, because it would literally be a book, so best positives - food was delicious - the show is so fun - the employees were super nice Some things I personally think need to be better or upgraded - give the employees mics when they are trying to explain things before the show - merchandise is pretty pricey All in all, I recommend coming here if you are looking for a good time and it won't break the bank! Long review So the lobby, restaurant, store all so gorgeous and clean. The art work and design gorgeous. The Casino so clean. The staff nice and hospitable. The food at Dave’s great, but service mediocre. Luckies staff very kind and friendly. (Female staff need to pull back their hair). Valet staff very kind and prompt and professional. The room was the worse part. The furniture is old and beat up, along with the room it self. Lots of chipped furniture or faded paint. Burn hole in sheet, broken hairdryer, broken shower head and there was mold in the shower. Definitely NOT a 4 star room. The 3 rd day of our visit housekeeping came at 5 pm and acted very put out that we expected the room to be cleaned. The location is convenient to shopping and airport but not to Baltimore sites. Security is a lot better then down near the Horseshoe casino. There was a small but very memorable interaction between a hotel customer and what looked like Live! Cooperate staff (no uniform, wearing business casual) that I witnessed and those individuals should be very ashamed of their behavior and the representation of the brand they are hired portrayed. Overall not a “bad” trip but for the cost and level of expectations Live! Hotel FAILED Definitely not the luxury experience I expected Valet were amazing The bell man Bryan was absolutely the best interaction of the hotel staff. The gentleman at the Live! Shop was so knowledgeable and helpful. His approach made me want to buy everything. I had a great customer service experience with him. The guy at Luckies named Rodrigo was so polite and courteous and patient. One person that was a negative experience was a staff from the casino, older women with short grey hair in a red jacket was VERY rude Definitely did not represent Charm city or had a customer service approach when speaking to casino customers

I love going out to Live! to hang out for a couple of days when I want to get away from home to recharge, but not go too far. It's only a 3 hour drive or 5 hour train ride, and I switch it up. I get great comps!!! The players there are super nice and make me feel like I go there all of the time. The dealers and pit bosses are pretty cool as well. Any restaurant you eat at on site is delicious and the good part is, I never pay for them. I use comps. They really know how to take care of their players.

Only a very short visit but was impressed with the size and number of slots. I saw attendants cleaning machines between players. Restroom also clean. We felt safe parking in the garage. I got a first time reward card bonus of $30 and my son got $100! That made the visit extra fun! I will return when I'm the area.

I want to begin by stating that I qualified to a tournament to the main event for the live PokerStars series. I drove 9 hours from Canada to be able to attend this event. Shortly apon my arrival to the area, another car ran a red light and hit my car as I was advancing to make a left during the advance signal, the police got involved and my car was towed away. The police drove me to the Live! Maryland casino so that I can gather my thoughts and make a decision as to what I should do. Right as I arrived, a security guard named Malcom informed me that I had to leave and that they had no rooms available. I totally understand not having availability. But what was the reason for being forced to leave after having to go through such unfortunate situations? This was the least hospitable I have ever felt staying at any casino resort. On top of that, Malcom said I could come back the next day. That would if this happened on the 21st, that 22nd would conform to being the next day. Not to Malcom, he said I could return to play in the tournament in the morning, then he changed his mind and decided I couldn't return for 24 hours, after the starting time. Edit: I got a response from the owner regarding this review. Stated that they were just trying to look out for my well-being. That really seems to be in line being forced to sit outside between and 11pm and 4 am in the morning outside in the cold after suffering a concussion. Classic way to look out for someone. Beware of staying at this resort. You might be thrown out for your own well-being.

Live Casino is fine. Plenty of parking, easy enough to get in and out of. I go there because sometimes my job holds meetings/trainings there; however, I walk through the casino to get to the place. It always looks well kept, the service is nice, the slot machines look brand new, and there's also a smoking section in there somewhere so you don't have to go outside (if that's your thing). Enjoy and remember to gamble responsibly. The house always wins eventually.

For a property of this caliber, I expected a more spectacular hotel room. Like many casino hotels, the room was fairly basic and lacked any real “wow” factor. The casino itself was a pleasant surprise—spacious with a good variety of machines and tables. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. One thing that felt a bit off: when someone wins, there’s a light flash or a pop-up on the player’s screen. While no names are disclosed, it seems like a tactic to keep others playing. Personally, I found it a little cringe-worthy. On the plus side, there was ample parking, a good selection of food options, and the mall being just steps away was a definite bonus for convenience and variety. Overall, it was a decent experience, but the hotel stay didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the rest of the property.

"Excellent" hotel with above average cleanliness and service. Pedestrian friendly to several restaurants and shopping. Location is convenient to BWI and surrounding Laurel/Silverspring aareas. My go to for future trips to this area.

The campground is well maintained. The sites for RVs were a little close together. If you like tent only sites there a few closer to the water that had more privacy. Restroom facilities were updated and clean. Small store on site for ice/wood/necessities. The noise from the nearby road and train tracks can be a little distracting if you plan to sleep in.

Beautiful and spacious campsites with easy access to the restroom facilities, the lake, store, playground, and many other amenities. Most of the roadways are paved offering easy access. The hosts, Mike and Charity were absolutely awesome! The made us feel like old friends visiting. We returned home today and preparing to book our next visit.

I recently visited Codorus State Park, and I had a fantastic experience! Here are some highlights: - Clean Bathrooms: One of the first things I noticed was how well-maintained the bathrooms are. It's always a relief to find clean facilities when enjoying the great outdoors. - Private Camping Sites: The camping sites offer a good amount of privacy, allowing for a more relaxing experience. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. - Proximity to Water: The park is conveniently located close to water, making it perfect for fishing, kayaking, or simply enjoying the scenic views. The sound of water nearby added to the overall tranquility of the park. Overall, Codorus State Park is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to enjoy nature, whether for a day visit or an extended camping trip. I highly recommend it!

I've been coming to the pool and marina area since I was a kid. It brings me nostalgia. I love how the pool and locker rooms are the exact same as they were 30+ years ago. Surprised how there's not many Hanover locals out here. This is Hanover's best attraction.

I visit the lake on a regular basis. It's one of my favorite places to relax. It's disheartening to see the water levels fall during this time of year, especially since the lake in motion is always a beautiful sight.

Only was there for a brief visit but enjoyed my time. Well maintained trails, nice lake, didnt bring my fishing stuff but looks promising. There was a stand of american chestnuts along the trail i hiked that was a pleasant surprise.

I've been going here since I was a kid and it's always a joy! I got to bring my son here for the first time and it is bringing back wonderful memories. The staff was nice and there are fun activities to do like the corner maze, petting cows and the place your face in the cardboard cutout photo. We can't wait to come back!

Delicious homemade ice cream and other treats. Free activities. Baby cows that you can pet. View cow milking and corn maze. Lots of great photo opportunities 😃 I have been going there since I was little and now I take my kiddos. Great place to spend an hour or so. Local delicious milk.

This farm has good ice cream and milk. It is a small farm that welcomes groups of kids and pets. There is no fee to visit.

Great choice of ice cream flavors in a cone or dish.. order inside and pay, then pick up outside or pick out of the freezer by dish.. my personal favorite is cheesecake! You can also choose items such as baked goods, soda pop in bottles, and some simple olde tyme deli candies. You can visit the baby cows... you can pet them but be careful, they like to nibble and bite your clothes LOL then swing down to the milking area and say hi to the full grown mammas and give them a nice head rub!

Very nice place and a good selection of foods, especially ice cream. Our daughter enjoyed seeing the calves.

We had such a great time petting all of the calves. The ice cream was amazing and there were so many unique flavors. Perfect for kids or people with special needs. Don't wear your best clothes as your hands will get dirty petting the calves. They also had a nice selection of jams, honey and other fun items to purchase.

My kids, as well as myself love coming here they buy far have the best ice cream with lots of different favorites to choose from and the kids always love seeing and petting the cows They have a little store inside that you can buy milk, candies, and lots of other goodies. There are picnic tables outside, corn maze and a little handwashing station outside as well.

A must try experience for everyone. Shows of all kinds that will cater just about anyone. Besides the big main shows they have more child friendly ones on the weekends as well as dinner date shows in different parts of the theatre. From the handful of shows that I’ve been to I’ve never been disappointed. Have created a lot of memories here! Highly recommended

Comparative to Broadway shows. The costumes were amazing. You felt like you were going to a Broadway show. Friendly staff. They also sell candy, drinks, souvenirs. The person playing the piano before the show was amazing. They give you a history of the show at the entrance right hand side. The balcony was scary if you’re afraid of heights.

The singing amazing!!! Especially loved Kanisha and Samantha’s duet! Very gifted actors and singers. David Toole did a great job playing Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde! Highly recommend seeing it! It's a three hour drive for us to see a show at the Fulton Theatre, but the trip is always worth it. We have been visiting the Fulton for over 15 years - (first time visit was to take our daughter to see Princess and the Pea). We have purchased tickets for seats in all 3 levels of the theatre and have enjoyed every performance regardless of our location. I highly recommend seeing one of the Groff Series plays in the Tell Theatre on the 4th floor of the Fulton. A more intimate setting (up to 100 seats) and the space is completely transformed for each show. We saw "The Irish And How They Got That Way" - a wonderful immersive experience - my husband and I were fortunate to be seated "at the bar" on stage and interacted with some of the cast members! Get on their mailing list! They run a "Christmas in July" sale that offers season passes at discounted rates.

As of this review, we've seen around six shows and I've yet to have a bad experience here. The Fulton Theatre is an absolute treasure with incredible, high-quality plays/musicals. Their latest show, Cats, had the most decorated set I've ever seen at a theatre, and probably the most immersive experience too! I'm always excited to keep coming back. Lately, though, we've noticed that some of their key art is AI generated which feels extremely against the spirit of local arts.

Haven't seen a show here in decades, but my mom was the artist director in the 1990s and it was fun to see it all again.

Performances rival Broadway. All shows are performed professionally from well known plays and musicals to the lesser known. Excellent casting, music, scenery, props, directing and choreography. A+ venue (really not a bad seat in the house) and shows. Highly recommend a visit to The Fulton!

Had a great time visiting Lancaster Central market. Vendors galore, from fresh cut flowers to meats and cheeses produce souvenirs and hot food. Pricing was absolutely amazing and everyone was very friendly. Loved walking through seeing everything. Baked goods and beautiful cupcakes.

Loved this marketplace where I can get baked goods, candies and treats as well as soup mixes and pancake mix. We sat down and had breakfast at the counter and the eggs were perfect. Very nice people work here. They have handmade crafts and gift items as well.

I recently visited this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! The apple cider latte was amazing - not too sweet and something I could drink every day. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Exciting and very busy place on a Saturday. We arrived to check it out on a lovely bright sunny day. Food vendors inside and out musicians the smell of baked goods and coffee. We looked at all of our choices for lunch and decided on ntwo deli sandwiches from Deli Grassi which was turkey with peppers,, lettuce and tomatoes on freshly baked bread from Philly. $26 for two sandwiches. Had two cokes and got some Boston custard donuts from the Amish Red Maple Bakery. Very crowded and you have to pay to park. So many choices inside and out check it out for yourself. 🌹

Absolutely loved this indoor market. If you like fresh veggies, locally sourced milk products, fresh meat, etc., you will love Central Market. It gets busy as the morning moves on, so get your items early. The fudge from Uncle Leroy's Candy Kitchen and the beef sticks sold by S. Clyde Weaver are top notch. Vendors we purchased from were friendly and worked efficiently. Loved the fresh vegetable stands as well. You will need to pay for parking and watch your time closely! Allow at least an hour if you are someone who likes to peruse nearly every vendor.

It was a pretty nice Market. We got there a little after 12:00. The market was very busy. We picked up a few snacks there.

We went for our dad's 75th birthday on a full moon night. I would not recommend taking your older loved ones here. Hilly, gravel trails are what you walk on. We loved the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers. We hated that more tickets were sold than expected (which we know helps the wolves) and we didn't get the small group tour to learn. The wolves are majestic and their howling beautiful. We did not get to see the entire sanctuary because there was not enough volunteers, that made the trails clogged with too many people. We took chairs and carried them. That sucked. You DO NOT NEED CHAIRS. There are benches and a fire pit by the gift store at the end of everything. My suggestion: bypass the moon nights and go when you can score a small group tour of the ENTIRE facility. We were thankful for all the knowledge the pony-tailed volunteer dropped on our large group of about 100 people. We appreciated the no kids under 16 rule for the moon night's too. There's such a rich, wonderful history to this place and we wanted to hear all of it. 5 stars for the wolves. 5 stars for the volunteers. 1 star for over selling tickets. Bottom line: go for a day time visit with a small group.

We actually had the pleasure of staying in one of 3 cottage's on the property. We stayed in the Paymaster's Offfice. It was an adorable cozy place that had a gas fireplace, a large air jet soaking tub, kitchenette that included a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, cook top with two burners, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Breakfast is included with your stay and was delivered to the cottage by Maggie. Also included is a tour of the wolves. In the early morning hours, we had the pleasure of hearing a symphony of wolves. What a beautiful way to wake up. Everyone should experience it at least once. They take great care for these beautiful creatures. Our tour guide Michelle was very nice and knowledgeable about every wolf on the property. They all have a story to be told. I highly recommend going in the fall when the wolves are more active due to the cooler weather.

I loved my visit to the Wolf sanctuary. The volunteer was awesome and he worked there for over 20 years volunteering, extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I will certainly be going back when all the leaves are down so you can have complete full visual of the wolves. The grounds are pristine and well kept. Can you tell I loved it there?

We did the full moon night walk. The wolves were on and off active. We learned a lot from the guides. I wish you were able to know the entertainment before booking. There was a poet our night and not live music.

This is a really interesting place to visit. I would recommend it! It is an experience you will remember for a long time. You get to see them up close and personal. How they interact with each other and the guide does a great job explaining anything you want to know about them. You will find it educational and entertaining with guided public and private tours. Book ahead when they have limited availability. They also have a gift shop if you want a souvenir.

This place is incredible. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable, the wolves are respected and intentionally cared for, 1.5 hour out from Philly - worth the drive. Will visit again. Close to Shady Maple if you want some good food after your visit

We had a private tour with Denny; he was such a knowledgeable tour guide and passionate about the sanctuary. We got to see the beautiful wolves before their feedings, so they were active and eager to be fed. Hearing the wolves howling was amazing! In the 2 hours we really got to know most of the 55 wolves the sanctuary cares for. Denny was amazing and made this experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this experience!

The place has a lot to offer with plenty of activities for both adults and kids. The food is good, though definitely on the pricey side. Sundays get really crowded, so expect a lot of people. Overall, a fun spot but a bit expensive.

My first time at the fair and what an experience!!!! So much to do there and many cool lil gift shops and stands. Parking was super easy also. We can't wait til next year to visit again!!

Went to the PA Renn Faire and as always....it was amazing!!! The costumes, the food, the ale!!! Parking was a breeze and there was virtually no wait. Scotch eggs y'all!!! Also the Peach Vanilla Cider. That was from another planet!

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is always a great time! The entertainment is usually great, the food is always excellent, and just the overall environment is fun and enjoyable. It is a rain or shine event so you better be prepared because they don't stop no matter what the weather does. Yes it's harder to enjoy when it's raining, but as long as it is warm enough just suck it up and enjoy yourself! The Jousting is always awesome, the idea of living the medieval life speaks to my soul LOL.

The grounds were exciting and diverse. The characters were talented, well dressed, and extremely entertaining. Though, during the final Pub Sing on the last day of the season, one of the main characters, King James of Scotland, kissed his right hand man. I don't care what each person's personal deviant affiliation is, that's between them, their partner, and God. What bothers me is when they put their preferences on display on the main stage without giving the audience a choice as to whether or not to watch. There are many children in the audience and mine were left with questions I was not prepared to answer during a fun family outing. The last time I went to the PA RenFaire there was no signs of sexual preferences or innuendo on display for the main story line events. We steered clean of all the shows that were marked Not Suitable For Children.

The rennfaires are always so much fun... expensive, but fun... haven't really found any food that I'd order again. I need to plan to stop somewhere for breakfast beforehand next time.

We go here for the Renaissance Faire and it's a hoot! Semi permanent structures add to the setting as you step into a fantasy world based on ye olde England. Some merchants, including food, only take cash.

This was a great place to learn about Hershey - not just the Hershey company but the town too. There is a scavenger hunt to keep younger kids entertained. Quite a few interactive exhibits. Add on experiences include the Chocolate Lab (make your own chocolate bar and learn about chocolate) and tastings. The chocolate bar experience at the lab is different than make your own Candy Bar at Hershey's Chocolate World. There is also a café where you can get something to eat or drink (great food and coffee options).

A great stop if you’re short on time! The museum offers a nice mix of the history behind the Hershey business and Milton Hershey’s lasting impact on the town. Well organized, informative, and easy to explore without feeling rushed. Perfect for anyone who enjoys learning the story behind the famous chocolate brand and the community it built. Fun way to learn more about Hershey. Some really interesting interactive aspects to the museum which is great for kids. Spent about an hour walking around. We enjoyed learning more about the town. The gift shop was ok - it would be nice if some collectors tins or historic packing was sold to reflect more of the Hershey history or one of a kind chocolates, just available there. We paid extra for the chocolate tasting at the end for adults and kids. Very tasty. I do wish that kids could keep their tasting mug, especially considering the price of the tastings, as our little one really wanted it and it would have been a nice keepsake. A chocolate sample to take home would have also been really appreciated. We offered to even pay for the kids mug but were told no. All things considered it was a nice visit for an hour or 2.

The Hershey store is massive. Every kind of chocolate you want. Plus all the other candy's owned by Hershey, like Jolly Ranchers. Took the factory tour and it was quite informative.

Fun place!! Free Hershey ride through the hersey manufacturing process(totally staged and animated but interesting) so much candy!! A dessert area, fill your own Reeses Cup! Build your own candy bar and follow the whole process. There are plenty of food vendors there too all themed fir Hershey, chocolate and some savory selections too. You could easily spend hours there!

I have been to Hershey Park last Saturday and I loved it. The park was neat and clean, beautifully decorated for Halloween including a „scare zone“ at night time. Coasters were great! Especially enjoyed Wildcat‘s Revenge, Skyrush and Storm Runner. Will definitely come back!

It's a good park. I've been to many parks in the US and also in European countries. I can say that the price is a little high given the quality of the park. Overall, you can visit a couple of times. I can tell you that it’s better to buy express tickets if you go on weekends, because the waiting time is on average at least 35 minutes.

A sea of ​​positive emotions! Even though we were with our little daughter, who is 4 years old, even my husband and I managed to ride the highest slides, taking turns. I didn't really like the system by which we ate; it would have been better without it.

This was my first trip to Hershey Park. Honestly had little expectations. However I was very impressed with several things: 1. Lots of shade trees around the common walking paths 2. Many ways to get from one place to another. 3. The amount of lifeguards am was a plus 4. The amount of restaurants was amazing 5. Ride selection for both young, teen and adults was perfect. 6. Rides look like they are in perfect order. Actually surpassing Disney in some ways. 7. New rides being added all the time. 8. Making great use of their entire space. My only complaints: 1. Monorail was down 2. Some areas had signs to get from place to place other intersections had none. (Made getting around difficult for first timers) 3. Exit out of main parking lot was confusing. We only saw one main exit sign and stumbled on it after driving around. Will come again. We live 10 hours away. Buy tickets online for deals.

We really had an excellent experience.. my grandson was able to get on a number of kids rides right away with no waiting. I highly suggest the one day meal plan. We were able to get burgers, fries and a large Coke each. Save chocolate world for the end when you're leaving so you can hit the air conditioning before you go and there are plenty of good deals in the checkout laying on the way out. Special shout outs to the attendant on the swing thing who was so engaging in sweet to the young kids really went out of his way to make that right. A great experience

This park is amazing. Definitely better than what we expected! Family loved it and there is plenty to do for all ages. Oh yeah, the chocolate!!!!!!! Priced right. Coasters were awesome!

We had a wonderful time at Hershey Gardens! The roses were stunning and still in full bloom, even in late summer. The Japanese Garden was a highlight—especially the meditation spaces, which provided such a peaceful atmosphere. While we didn’t have any young children with us, we still really enjoyed exploring the Children’s Garden—it’s creative and fun for all ages. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing experience. We’re looking forward to coming back with our grandchildren in the future.

What a marvelous afternoon! I definitely will plan a longer visit, so much to see and experience. Lots of easy parking leading up to the Gardens. Butterfly exhibition, year-round! Great gift shop with local products and souvenirs. Thousands of blooming rose bushes when I came, mid-September. Unbelievably gorgeous. I didn’t get to the Children’s Garden or anything beyond the rose bushes, I was always over-stimulated and hot (bring water & snacks!), but so happy I came here. Plan ahead and enjoy!!

What a wonderful experience. This was the first time at Hershey gardens. The gardens were beautiful, even in October, the roses were still in bloom, and there were plenty of activities for kids to do. The gardens are large and there is a lot to see here. The main attraction is definitely a butterfly garden, it was wonderful! I'd come just to see that again!

I love this place! So pretty during early October as the leaves change color! Great weather for the garden! And the staff is great!! I recommend visiting in the fall after school starts or in the spring before school starts then you can take your time enjoying everything! Im glad I brought my camera to take some pretty photos!

The gardens are really gorgeous, the roses were incredible. Fun spots throughout for kids to stop and have fun. We visited pumpkin Palooza and it was perfect for a fall fun day. The butterfly room has so many different butterflies, definitely check it out. They do have a family bathroom with a changing table for little ones.

A peaceful botanical garden with a space to meet and greet butterflies at the start. This garden is right next to the hotel Hershey. A beautifully curated garden with lots of nooks to sit and read a book or walk and talk through. It may seem small but the winding paths take longer than you think. This is a great way to decompress after Hershey park or go for a walk after your spa experience.

The Hershey gardens is beautiful no matter the time of year! I was there for thier pumpkin palooza and it was fantastic! The designs were really cool and they did a lot of work painting them! I was especially fond of the pac man set growing up with that. I greatly enjoyed all the painted pumpkins and learning about the creepy crawlers! I may make this a Halloween tradition!

We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Truly amazing what can be done with glass, I had no idea. Plan to spend most of a day to see everything. I also enjoyed the display on fiber light guide. The flameworking demo was well presented. The presenter was very informative and seemed to really enjoy her job. However the narrator at the Hot Glass demo seemed totally bored. All and all a great experience

This is a very cool museum. There are a number of sections that showcases the artistic aspect of glass as well as the science and the history of glass. It is a material so integrated into our lives that you don't even realize how often it is used. My favorite parts are the glassblowing demonstrations. The glass blowers skillfully makes works of art within 20 minutes and it's very interesting to see. During late September and October, they have seasonal demonstrations such as making a pumpkins. You can even take glassblowing or sandblasting classes. This is definitely a museum worth checking out.

Entertaining and educational experience for the whole family even if you aren't particularly interested in glass ! Museum premises are filled with light and feel contemporary and airy. On the day of our visit (a weekday in September), this museum was not crowded which felt very relaxing, almost meditative. Allow yourself at least 3,5 to 5 hours at this museum as there is a A LOT to see and explore. As of September 2025 children under 17 get in free and adult admission is $25. My son got a master class that, surprisingly, lasted literally 5 minutes but he absolutely loved it and, in a few days, got his creation (a pendant!) in the mail! He now proudly wears in to school👍

Glass making and a Lego con! The glass making was well worth the price - Erin was a fantastic teacher. She timed her lessons very well, even including moments for pictures 😀 very informative and her direction was very, very clear. This was I believe the first time the museum hosted a Lego con. It was free with admission and a lot of fun. The layout was easy to navigate. Tickets for entrance are timed so if recommend buying in advance.

Mi wife and I visited with a tour. We only had 2 hours but you can't really see the museum in 2 hours so we took a lot of pictures. We saw vases being made downstairs and a lady creating a carature of a bunny upstairs. The museum had a bunch of different sections. Beautiful glass art. Big gift shop and food court. I would recommend.

Enjoy a crisp morning downtown then head over to a MYO glass blowing class. A great fall getaway location full of vibrancy and plenty of wineries along the Fingerlakes region. Whether staying lakeside at an Airbnb or in a nearby hotel, the picturesque town invites you in to leave the city behind. The Wineglass Half Marathon nestles itself in the middle of it all.

A small but well-organized and thoughtfully maintained museum. The exhibits are easy to navigate, and the attention to detail shows. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, adding a lot of value to the experience. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

This is a very impressive museum. It's very large with full sized planes, cars, engines, etc everywhere. There's so much information about the Glenn Curtis and what he did for modern aviation. There is also another building where they are doing a restoration of a WW2 plane. The person working there was very kind and knowledgeable.

My brother surprised me with a visit to the Curtiss museum. I thought I knew aviation history, but was astounded to learn the lasting impact Glen Curtiss had on the industry. And there is so much on display you have to check it out.

Super stop along the way!! If you remotely like planes, motorcycles, or mechanical things in general, go here!!! The staff is awesome and knowledgeable, the folks working on the plane restoration are a real treat and they are so close to finishing!! This is a gem. Super cool and clean, amazing, everything is done 100%

It looks smaller on the outside, definitely big on the inside. This Museum was awesome I could have easily spent several more hours looking and reading about the accomplishments of Glenn Curtiss. Before stepping into this Museum I had never heard of him before. I had only heard about the Wright brothers. All I can say is it's a must-see for people that are visiting the area.

The very best museum I have ever been in. Thanks to John Kucko Digital for show casing the museum. Had he not went and taken pictures I would not have known anything about it. I also went and found a grape pie which I had never heard of. But that's what I don't vacation.

This is a great museum. It had a lot more to look at then I was expecting. Lots of cool planes and motorcycles.
