Photographed a beautiful wedding here. This place had so many stunning options for photos from beautiful lakes to stunning forest trails! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a scenic get away or stunning place to host a wedding or other life event.

This is an absolutely beautiful, well-kept state park! It has a gorgeous lodge, golf course, tennis and pickle ball courts, children's playground, lake with a beach, horseback riding, dog park and much more. Drive to the top of the ridge for stunning scenic views. Oh, and there's hiking, too, and a nature center. This place is a must-see if you're in the area!

What an amazing fall getaway experience 1.5 hours from DC. It was an easy drive and I was super impressed with all the park had to offer as well as the lodging accommodations. Offers so much to include biking, hiking, horse back riding, golf, pickle ball & tennis, nature center, playground for children, swimming & hot tub, spa , fire pits clay shooting, fishing . It's an incredible place and staff are so helpful .

Cacapon Resort State Park offers free entry and ample free parking, making it a great family-friendly destination. The large playground and picnic benches by the scenic lake create a perfect spot for relaxation and outdoor meals. Restroom’s availability is also good. Visitors can enjoy peaceful fishing or explore the park’s moderate hiking trails surrounded by natural beauty.

A beautiful State Park to visit. There is a dam with water overflowing, picnic areas, restrooms, nature center, playground and if you travel 4 miles up the mountain you can view 4 states from the overlook. It's absolutely breathtaking. Also on your journey up the mountain, you cross the most northern part of VA.

We have stopped here countless times through the years as a lunch break on our travels. There are many choices of picnic tables at which to eat and a variety of views. The small lake has a swimming area as well as stocked fishing attractions. There are streams, foot paths and a waterfall that we have explored while stretching our legs. There are a few different restrooms with running water and flushing toilets. I have always found them to be clean, if a little dated. There is a cool nature center with tons of displays and info about wildlife and local ecosystems. During the off-season, the only open restroom is in the nature center. The only drawback is the gnats. They are the worst in the summer. This is a State Park, we are outdoors, so this can be expected! It's no fault of the park. There are cabin rentals, a golf course, a big lodge, and a seasonal restaurant and l believe there are signs for horsebackriding. I have not visited any of these attractions. I think this is a great park and highly recommend it

Simply beautiful! Cannot wait to return. My husband and I came to spend a day on the golf course. Definitely recommend but bring cash for snacks and drinks. After golf we headed to the restaurant for some early dinner, DELICIOUS! Get the cream of crab, as a Marylander, it was 10/10! Also, do not and I repeat, do NOT skip out on the view at the top of the mountain. Was a perfect day!

The only reason that I am giving Whitetail 4 stars is because it's not Colorado. Overall it's a good resort for being within a two hour drive from DC. You can easily go skiing and come back in the same day. This winter we had more snow and Whitetail had a good season. The lodge has everything you need including lockers, food, drinks. The selection could include more veggies but then again most people want those chicken tenders. Available: ski and snowboard rental, lessons, snow tubing, store, Starbucks coffee, restaurant, and more.

Really nice experience at the park. The trails are well laid out, The Snow is currently being manufactured but once a good storm rolls thru it'll all be covered. There are lockers to rent, plenty of seating to chill out, eat some food, etc. I think the only thing that would be nicer is comfortable seating as the chairs are rocks. There's a gas firepit out in the courtyard as well. There are not a ton of parking spots and it was definitely parking lot hockey trying to find something. We got there in time for the first round of folks to start leaving so that helped. Passes are confusing. They have folks situated randomly on the sidewalk who say nothing to you just walk up to you and click their handheld scanner at you. There were some staff who were helpful but most were standoffish. Food is decent and there are a variety of options at resort prices so bring $$. Coffee is trash but it will warm you up at least. It's a convenient spot with some nice highlights but the lack of helpful people was my biggest issue and my biggest disappointment.

Great atmosphere. Although i have been skiing here and enjoyed the array of trails they offer. I have yet to hit the slopes this season. But I will test for the newer restaurant/bar day break. Great atmosphere, good food even with its limited menu. and the staff, Especially Morgan is quit welcoming, knowledgeable and has you whatever you need as soon as you need it! Oh and the fact it's dog friendly is a huge bonus. My boy Ace lovess coming and visiting!

I’ve been going to white tail since I was a kid. Recently I took my husband there for his first time ; for this birthday. We had a great time. The price is very reasonable and checking in is a breeze, you just need your confirmation number from the confirmation email. The staff are nice and helpful. I especially would like to give Roy a special shout out. He was so fun and just had a contagious joy about him. He pulled us down the hill in our tubes. He had everyone dancing and laughing and even took group pictures for the families going down the hills. Such a sweet guy and he made our experience even more memorable. My husband enjoyed himself so much he wants to start going there as a tradition for his birthday !

I had the most wonderful experience here. So, I purchased some tickets for snow tubing for my daughter's birthday. However somehow the tickets were for the day I purchased not the date I needed them. When we arrived at the resort I was told that my reservation was for Jan 27th not the current date. I was so upset, the customer serve here was magnificent. The lady reassured me that customer satisfaction was their priority and she would fix the problem. We were blessed to be taken care by such sweet lady. She fixed the problem and gave us new tickets. We enjoyed the 2 hours we paid for very much. Thank you White Tail for hiring such wonderful people. We had an excellent time. I have recommended this place to a lot of my friends.

Love this resort. It was great for beginners. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I love that there was a ski lift chair in the practice area. It went very slow and was a great way to get started. I went with a group with beginners to intermediate level skiers and there was something for everyone.

This is a unique spot with a trail with a great view of the Potomac. The tunnel itself is a short walking distance from the parking lot if you are not interested in the loop trail. I highly recommend bringing a flashlight. Cell phones are fine but not as bright as a flashlight and the walking path is uneven with holes and cracks in some areas. Watch your step! There is a short boardwalk path on the other side of the tunnel. There is also a campground by the parking lot.

We hiked down the hill from a parking lot to the bridge using Google maps as a guide, and saw what looked like much friendlier roads leading up to the tunnel, so I think there is likely easier ways to get there. It's a long tunnel with an uneven narrow walkway and no lights. I would not want to go through it by myself. Very cool looking piece of history. If your hiking I would be careful, it looks like it's all trees and smooth slope down to the water, but there are some sharp cliffs not to far off the pathways, be careful if you go off the path or you could fall and get hurt.

Nice change of pace hike. Parked at the PawPaw Tunnel Campgrounds and walked the trail to the tunnel. I hadnt realized how long the tunnel would be and at 3116 feet long it was pretty impressive. Walkway inside tunnel is very uneven and had puddles so make sure you have a flashlight of some sort and sturdy shoes on. Boardwalk on the other side was nice. Path past the boardwalk was muddy in spots but easy to go around the worst. Made it to the Sorrel Ridge Campsite before heading back. So some deer and lots of fall colors. Overall it was a nice quiet walk with only a few people, would definitely do it again

Two different areas to be aware of, theres the upper parking area on the mountain, and another parking access much closer to the tunnel below. Beautiful area, a few ignorant cyclists refusing to dismount crossing the bridge so I offered little room to pass without stopping. Yeah, im that guy ... dont care, get off your saddle here. Otherwise a most excellent area to check out .. repeat value is low, but if you haven't seen it yet, its worth the time. Enjoy!

An amazing short hike that was fun and beautiful. Not the easiest to find. Was told there are several ways to get there. We hiked down a small hill with switchbacks. Definitely take a flashlight to walk trough the tunnel.

I go backpacking all over the place. The one place I keep coming back to is the C & O Canal Towparh at the Paw Paw Tunnel. I begin my trips at the parking lot and hike through the tunnel. I will then go out to the one of the hiker biker camps on the other side. Sometimes the hike is out to the first camp which ends up only being a total of 2 or 3 miles. Sometimes I keep hiking and camp at one of the next two sites. That ends up being 7 - 8+ miles. No matter where I camp, I'm always experiencing hiking through the tunnel out and then back the next day. The Towpath with the tunnel and locks down the trail on the other side of the tunnel is a throwback in history. Even if you just come for the day, it is well worth the trip. As everyone states... bring a flashlight or headlamp. This review was posted January 2025, but the pictures were from October 2023 during one of my many trips.

Great hike. We went thorough the tunnel then did the loop hike over the tunnel to get back to the parking lot. Lots of fun and a great view from the top!

Clean, WARM (in winter), bathrooms and a nice place to stretch one’s legs while enjoying a stunning view of the mountains. One of the most scenic rest areas I’ve been to. A few educational sign boards explaining the history of the mountain pass and the National Road. Gives an appreciation for the challenges our predecessors faces and how the current highway came to be.

Stopped by the Sideling Hill Welcome Center looking forward to taking photos from the top of the hill viewpoint, but unfortunately, the pathway was locked off with a chain—likely due to needed repairs. It seems it has been closed for a while, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the rest of the visit was great. The area is extremely clean, with well-maintained restrooms (which is always a plus). The scenery is beautiful and the views from the lower areas are still very impressive. Plenty of picnic spots and open space make it family friendly and a great place to stop, stretch, and unwind. Very peaceful and refreshing. Would love to return when the upper path is reopened.

Nice little scene on the side of the road. They even had the looking machine u put a qtr in. 😂 And then they had vending and restrooms.

This is a great stopping point to enjoy the beautiful views and visit the restrooms. The huge rock formations are very interesting. There always seems to be water or ice coming down the very steep rocks. Great place for a short stop to stretch your legs. Pet-friendly.

8/23/24 Very clean facility. The welcome center has many informative pamphlets with a sweet helpful employee to answer questions.The vending machines are in a separate building close to the parking lot. The wheelchair ramp is on the side of the building. Outside picnic tables had awesome views. NOTE I didn't see semi parking.

It was a beautiful ride however, unless you want to get smacked with bits of coal and dust and bugs, I recommend sitting in the closed window area. It took a week for me to fully scrub all the coal or whatever was in the air from the trains smoke. It was a much better ride back when I realized that there was an area with closed windows. At the stop in Frostburg there’s a nice little eating area. The nachos were delicious. I highly recommend with the pulled pork. There’s a wonderful carriage museum. That was very educational. It was a nice little rest area. Overall I give the trip a 8.5 out of 10.

Actually, I give 4.5 stars. This railroad experience is awesome! Several different train options and experiences. People are friendly and the scenic views are amazing. A few things to know: -don’t bother going up into Frostburg. Many stores and most restaurants closed. And it’s not much to look at either. Spend your time walking down the trail, reading the coal miners historical walls or the little museum. -be very careful if you are a party of two and reserve a table that can seat 4. Mostly likely you will be seated with strangers. We just watched a poor couple who sat with people who talked - about themselves- the entire trip up and back. Couldn’t even enjoy the scenery. They just sat there and had to listen - dome car is very nice. But know the tables are Small. Felt cramped. Bring your own food and enjoy a nice meal with appetizers provided.

Magnificent engine. Stunning views. We did the lunch class. Food and drink service was good. Server was attentive. Kids might like the coach class better as it’s open. Both city Cumberland and Frostburg are stunning to walk around with lots of history. Train stopping for one and half hour at frostburg gave us the perfect time to explore the lovely city. This is a hidden gem we didn’t know about.

The Frostburg Flyer was a perfect way to spend a day with family. Fortunately for us, the 1309 Steam Locomotive was up and running (only weekends), and it chugged its way along the tracks for a slow, steady climb up the mountain to Frostburg. With temps in the 70's, we chose to sit in the open air car. The signs are correct, you will get covered in ash and soot, but I think that's all part of the experience. Most of it just brushed off when we stood up, but it was all over everything. If you didn't want this full experience, you can sit in the enclosed cars. The scenery was great, the conductor's narration was informative, and the services at the Frostburg station were plenty. Knowing that the diesel engine would pull us back down to Cumberland on the return trip, we rode in the open air car again, and that was just about perfect. No soot and ash on the return trip. If you're looking for a scenic ride, a family-friendly outing, and to live the steam train life first-hand, the Western MD Scenic Railroad is hard to beat.

We booked the dome class for 4 people and paid around $600 including the security fee, expecting a premium scenic experience. Unfortunately, the ride fell short in several ways. We had no idea that the train would do a round-trip without turning around, so we were stuck on the less scenic side for the entire journey. All the best views were on the opposite side. For the price, it would’ve been much fairer if the staff rotated tables or offered a lower price to ensure everyone got a balanced experience. The service and communication were poor. The person sharing route commentary stood near the entrance, and we could barely hear what was being said throughout the car. It felt unorganized and unengaging. The complimentary charcuterie board was also underwhelming — mostly just pretzels, a couple of stale cheese varieties, a few crackers, one type of salami, and bottled water. Definitely not what you’d expect for the price. Lastly, the condition of the dome car itself was concerning. The window above us was cracked, which made it uncomfortable (and a little scary) to sit beneath. Overall, this experience did not feel worth the money. We were excited about a relaxing, scenic ride, but left disappointed. This train has potential, but major improvements are needed in value, fairness, service quality, and maintenance. The ride and the views were beautiful 😍 It was my first train ride and I enjoyed it. I gave it a 4/5 for a few reasons. First, it didn't specify that you only have a meal option if you book the lunch ride. We booked the Dome so we could have better views (totaly worth it), but we assumed we would be able to order food at an additional cost. That wasn't the case. However, they do provide light snacks and water, and you can purchase soda, tea, and alcohol. I don't think the 90-minute layover in Frostburg is enough time. We struggled to find a restaurant that was open and didn't have a long wait (we went on a Friday afternoon). We ate at "The Princess Restaurant," which has diner type food, and it was delicious and fast service. Also, the space between the table and seats on the train is rather cramped. I'm only 5'1", and I barely had leg room from the other couple sitting across from us. A larger man was sitting across us at our table, and he was very uncomfortable. Overall, it's still worth it, and we had a nice time! Just wanted to share a few details that may help others 😊

The train ride was great! The atmosphere and service were truly amazing experiences. My family and I will definitely do this again. We rode in the lounge class, and the drinks were delicious and unique.

We accidentally stumbled across this place a few years ago. We went for a drive to try a new milkshake place (which sadly is no longer there) After that we decided to just keep driving. We somehow ended up at this beautiful little beach area with an amazing view. We were not prepared to swim, but we did dip our feet in. I’ve been looking to return, just haven’t found the time yet. If you’re in the area check it out. It’s a super cool place.

Beautiful park, but narrow lanes. Not well suited for larger campers. Tight to back in to spots, some are up hill and not very level. Was in site 112, about hit my bumper backing in. A loop can maybe accommodate 30 foot, but my 35 was a squeeze. Dump station not easily accessible, only the inside lane is usable. The outside you can't use, as the road is oneway so you would be facing the wrong direction. If your in the first section it is easy to get too, but if you your in higher numbered sites, you have to go to the park entrance, turn around and drive back into the camp ground to dump. Not well thought out.

A very large campground with many hiking trails. One leading up to a lookout as seen in the photos. It's not a easy trail hike but does give a great view. There is a beach area and a nice picnic area.

Love this place. The trail around the lake is always kept up and the park is clean and family friendly. They've really updated the playground -making it a really good time for kiddos too.

Cowans gap state park is my favorite park. This is an amazing outdoor recreational park nestled on the mountains of Buchanan Pennsylvania. There are several trails to enjoy and the overlook trail gives you the most amazing view of the gap. The best part is that you can ride the bike along side the lake trail and have great time with the family. A highly recommended outdoor recreational park nestled park for the family. Ample parking and beautiful landscapes.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, my dad, my husband, and I decided to explore Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. First and foremost, the parking situation is absolutely atrocious! We drove around for probably about 15 minutes, just looking for a spot before we finally managed to find one about half a mile away. I think with it being located so close to two university campuses, parking is never good here. The terrible parking situation aside, this place is absolutely beautiful! The variety of plants and various vegetation in beautiful arrangements was definitely something to behold. We had such a wonderful time, exploring the exhibits and even had fun looking for the hidden toucans in the various rooms. Such a pleasant afternoon and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pittsburgh.

Adding my 5 star review into the mix because this place was amazing. Beautiful botanical displays of all shapes and sizes all under these magnificent victorian glass greenhouses. You will feel like you were magically whisked off to London or Paris for the afternoon. Worth the visit to escape the madness and chaos of the world around you. Today I needed a nice, calm, relaxing, warm, inviting stroll through a garden and I was glad I stopped by. Thank you to everyone, especially Barbara keeping us going left and on the tour. 😎😎

Really cool experience for those interested in botanical gardens. Well worth the price of admission. Parking can be a tad tough to find on the street so be sure to plan ahead. Plenty of exhibits inside with rooms dedicated to rainforests, chrysanthemums, and ferns. My favorite was the cactus room!

I’ve been to several large botanical gardens, but the Phipps absolutely blew me away! My dad and I spent several hours walking around and I left feeling inspired and having learned a lot. This is an absolute must-visit, even if you’re only in Pittsburgh for a day or two.

What a wonderful experience! We've been here many times through the years and its always enjoyable. The Fall flower show was especially beautiful, and a treat to stroll from one area to another. I look forward to the next time here. We did learn if you go first thing in the morning (9:30), parking is readily available.

The theme for the Phipps Conservatory's 2023 Winter Flower Show and Light Garden was: Garden Railroad: The miniature train ride was titled "Pennsylvania Through the Four Seasons." It was one of my most enjoyable rides, a reminder of winter 2023, and I'm looking forward to what the theme will be for winter 2025. It's a perfect place to share with family and friends, and if you want to enjoy a solo ride to reconnect with yourself, it's also a great place.

I enjoyed this funicular side trip. The view at the top was nicest part of the trek. Crossing the street from the parking lot felt like a game of Frogger. Up top there’s a few touristy things to see, but not much. I’m biased because I’m comparing this with the many I’ve done in the EU. Overall it was a nice side adventure, but not much to write home about.

Ticket prices r great and it’s a really cool experience. It’s old time feel to it which is cool it’s like u stepped back in time which I always love that feeling. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because when we went their was a group of rowdy teens playing around in the car and shaking it the whole way up the hill making it a little scary to say the least and the staff did nothing about it. But we will definitely be returning again

I didn't enjoy my visit for several reasons: 1. You have to pay for parking, which costs $5 for 2 hours. 2. I came with my wife and kids (13, 10, and a baby in a stroller). It was very hot, and we all felt tired. We had to wait in a long line to buy tickets, and they only accept exact cash. 3. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with one lady shouting instructions through a microphone. 4. The gift shop at the top was small and sold trivial items. This place needs updating. They should accept credit card payments, have a website for advance ticket purchases, and add air conditioning—it was unbearably hot.

Make sure you have exact change in cash! $2.50 each way so $5 per person. No change or credit cards here. Great view of Pittsburgh and some cool spots to check out at the top of Mt Washington

Ride the cable car At Duquesne Incline and see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh So whenever you see pictures of Pittsburgh, I am sure you are looking it downtown with and cable car in the foreground. it is easily one of the best things to do in Pittsburgh. From the cars, there are great views out over the city. Once used to transport workers all the way back since the 1800s. they are still using two original 1877 cable cars, the Duquesne Incline is a working museum, with the upper station providing photos and displays on the history of the incline. at the top, you can also see the working mechanism, wheel, and all. I don't know if it is the norm, but there was a guide in our cabin and he gave a brief idea about incline history, and how it come into the picture. Duquesne Incline was rescued and restored by a group of local residents in 1963 and still delights residents and visitors with its original, elegant, wooden cable cars Parking: $10 and that's valid for 24 hours. Parking is more expensive than tickets which are just $5. You don't pay at the counter, you put the exact amount in a cylindrical box (nobody checks what you are putting in the container). a counter lady comes in a while and shoves it with a stick. i have never seen a system like this. if you want to experience a slice of the city’s long history, go for it.

Rode the incline up and down as part of an excellent sightseeing tour offered by Molly's Trolleys. There is a panoramic view at the top of Pittsburgh from the north side. The ride is in a no-frills vintage car and there are antique photos in the waiting area.

The ride is worth the wait. The view up top is good, but the ride from the from the back of the car is really unique. It is shaky and is not smooth, which made it a fun ride.

PNC Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the country! Getting there is incredibly easy – it’s just a short walk from downtown Pittsburgh, and the area around the stadium is very walkable. Entry into the park was smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. The ballpark itself is beautiful with plenty of concessions available throughout. As expected at a major league park, food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the variety of options makes it worth it. The views are absolutely spectacular – you get an amazing backdrop of downtown Pittsburgh and the river, which adds so much to the game-day atmosphere. Even if your seats aren’t the best, PNC Park has plenty of areas to move around and take in different perspectives of the game. From the outfield concourses to open standing areas, every angle seems to offer a great view. Overall, the combination of easy access, great amenities, and one-of-a-kind views make PNC Park a must-visit for any baseball fan or visitor to Pittsburgh.

The stadium has good history, atmosphere. Easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. This was the only stadium that the usher wiped down my seat so far. We've been to several. Nice area, worth the trip. It was kind of confusing to walk around inside the stadium to check it out. Before we sat in our seats.

This is my favorite ball park. We travel the country just to see baseball stadiums. This is a great place. The view... the people. MLB has to do a better job with the food but the prices are below average and if you go when the gates open drinks were on happy hour prices. The ushers were great. This is the one ballpark that you want to sit higher up on the first base line so you have a great view. Normally I like to sit as close as I can to the field but the view is worth the sacrifice and the tickets are way cheaper. Take in as many games as you can while you're there.

Calling yourself the Best Ballpark in America takes some big ones. Being an SF Giants fan, I might have to disagree. I attended a Sunday afternoon game here, was a rather warm day, but my seats were soon in the shade and I was able to enjoy the rest of the game. The views are quite stunning, it’s a perfectly situated ballpark. My only complaint was that the concessions weren’t as special as the park.

The best baseball views in the country. The concourses are open and have lots of food and drinks available. Large bathrooms, easy to find seating. The exterior has lots of foor and bar options and the walk over the Clemente bridge makes for a great outing.

Best ballpark in the world with the best view of Pittsburgh! The employees are all very friendly- everyone at security, to the elevator operators or the vendors all make you feel immediately welcomed and seem very proud to work there. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking which is anywhere from $25-$40 on game day. The lots fill up quickly, so be prepared for a walk from the parking lots or garages surrounding the stadium. Food prices are also outrageous but there’s a lot of choices. I ordered the a slice of “world-famous” Caliente pizza which was huge and equivalent to two slices and cost $12 a slice. It was very good and also very greasy! All in all, if you’re a baseball fan, add this ballpark on your list to visit…you won’t be disappointed!

This is a beautiful park. It's clean and the staff were all friendly. Even the fans were kind and helpful. The surrounding area is nice and felt safe both before and after the game. There are a lot of great eateries and attractions around the stadium. The whole package makes for a great experience.

Sunday 10/12/2025 Steelers Acrisure stadium I took my daughter to her first NFL game! We are loyal Steelers fans! I’ve noticed a lot of settle changes in the remodels that they have done from the changeover from Heinz Field prior to 2022! It is still very family atmospheric and electrifying! I’m absolutely astonished how clean it was for the volume of people that were in attendance for this big rivalry home game against the Cleveland Browns! I want to think of everyone that was able to make this experience very special impossible for my daughter I recommend anybody even if you’re not an NFL fan or Pittsburgh Steelers fan to visit the new Acrisure stadium it is home to the Pittsburgh Panthers as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and they also host tours in addition to other events as well, which you can check on their website! I rate the overall experience five stars, but I would give it the whole galaxy if I could! Absolute perfection!

Wasn't too impressed by the numerous daylight games I've been to here, but Sunday night games have a great atmosphere and energy that make them pretty fun. The food is definitely pricey, though that’s expected for an NFL stadium. The biggest downside has consistently been the lines, both for the restrooms and for food. It’s not unusual to wait 15 minutes just to use the restroom during the game, and I can’t imagine how bad it gets at halftime. I will say, the line to enter the stadium through security was significantly quicker than my last visit, which was a plus. Overall, it’s not a top 10 NFL stadium, but it’s serviceable.

Omfg what a huge experience we've had today and not to mention the Steelers pulled a win today against the Cleveland Browns!! Our seats was section 135 row B, behind the Steelers!! I will add one more photo we got a signature from #41 Wilson (was hoping for Watt and Rogers🥰 but no!). Very sweet man to sign it!! We are definitely coming back but next time sitting in front row!! The drinks for a can of beer was $16. I literally took sips that i should added a nipple cause it took me through the game!!😂 The prices for the tickets was steep but seeing my family's faces enjoying the game was so worth it!!🥰 as always LETS GO STEELERS!!!❤️💯🏈🎊

The absolute best time of our life. We spent our anniversary for a Ravens Game Vs our Steelers 10 years ago. Having grown up my whole life in Dallas, as a Steelers fan it was amazing. So here we found ourselves wanting to experience it again for our anniversary. The stadium and fans did not disappoint. Looking forward to our next trip to Pitt. Hope it doesn't take 10 years!

Was a great experience, fast service! Piercing on food and drinks were better then most stadium I've visited. The outdoor tailgating doesn't disappoint Pittsburgh knows how to PARTY! Visiting as the oppositing fan was fantastic the steelers fans were very nice and accepting.

The staff there was very friendly and letting us know where our seating was. I had a great experience in my first Steelers game. My girlfriend brought me tickets for my birthday. It was great even though I'm a New Orleans saints fan by heart, but I have become a Steelers fan.

First this last Saturday for the Pitt/ND football game. Prepaid parking across from the stadium. Great location and views, concession stands and selection was great. No ushers and very limited help to find gate and seats. This created a lot of movement etc. lots of standing in No Standing areas by stairs. Showing its age. Inside beer sales for a college game not a good idea!

Fantastic wines! Whatever your preferred taste, you will find it here. We love their dry whites and reds, but if you prefer sweet wines they have that too. The Riesling is wonderful, as is the Grüner Veltliner. Also, don’t miss the Bayou Blanc! An amazing collaboration with Voodoo Brewery that has a fantastic hoppy nose. The staff is the best! Lori, Chris and Geri made us feel right at home.

My wife and I are Brazilian and we had the honor of finding a silver wine that pays homage Brazilian word "Saudade". SAUDADE means “the grateful memory of someone, some moment or something”, As for the taste of the wine, it is exceptional! Truly excellent!

Very negative experience with purchase of wine making supplies from them. I placed 2 online orders in July. Received a small portion of supplies by mail. Never received most of the supplies, including tester ($605.99), testing kit ($95.99) and some more and for 2 months I am trying to get a refund from them. Do not ever buy from them. Very irresponsible people. They don't care about even checking what they shipped, what they didn't. Ignoring customers is their attitude.

The people are so nice, friendly, and helpful - Sam and Lori are awesome. Their Eskimo ice wine and Blushing Heron (concord + Niarlgra blend) were so delicious. I ordered a few bottles.

Do not buy from this company! We ordered grape skins about a year ago, we paid for the order online in full and then were informed the product was on back order. After we paid. Months went by and we were told it was still on back order. Last spring we called and asked for a refund, they told us they would mail a check. Weeks went by, we called a couple more times, check is in the mail. By midsummer without a refund we called again for a refund. This time the same person claimed they had no record of our transaction! We talked to her a dozen times! So they basically stole over $200 from us. Do not order anything! Horrible!

Don't order from this place!!! I have been holding off on a review for almost a year now. That's how long I have been waiting for a $200 refund on a product I paid for and they never provided. To this date I am still waiting. No one returns calls, no one knows how to issue a refund, no one is taking responsibility for stealing my money. Bad business! Bad customer service! The old school five and dime. You'll find things that you never knew existed and things that you haven't seen in years. Prices are decently reasonable and service is good. True old fashioned building adds charm to this landmark. Well worth the 2-hour drive for me. Like the ads used to say, follow 20A to East Aurora and look for the Vidler on the roof.

I’ve been here numerous times, every time I’m in Buffalo I head to East Aurora for Bar Bill wings and a blast from the past Fidlers. I love this store, I can spend an hour just pursuing the aisles.

A very interesting and amazing place to visit. Especially the drive out during fall. So many different items. Gorgeous snow globes. Candles, candy and toys. The people who work here are so friendly and helpful. You cannot be disappointed visiting Vidlers.

Great service! The lady at the other end of the store was able to check us out (it is actually a big store!) She was very kind. We explored all the toys they had there and all the smells at the candle/smells room. Lots of toys for kids there.

A HUGE 5 and dime, biggest in the world,I hear. They have everything from pots and pans to models and toys and candles and Buffalo Bills collectibles and candy and stuffed animals and the list goes on and on. There's an elevator that will hold two people in case you don't do stairs so well. Street entrance is to the second floor, entrance in the back is too the first floor. Plan to stay a while if you like to browse. Prices are a bit high for many items, but that's to be expected in a tourist attraction. I enjoyed my visit.

Came early for dinner but didn't want the buffet so ordered from the bar. Bar staff is great but they were overwhelmed with drink and food orders. We ordered at 5:30 and waited over an hour for our food. Another table waited 2 hours. We spoke with a female manager about our experience. Her response was that the customers are very happy with the buffet. Unfortunately the regular bar patrons are not happy but that didn't seem to matter. We later spoke with Rob, he was extremely understanding, listened very patiently and did what he could to take care of one of the tables that still hadn't gotten their order after 2 hrs. He is an asset to Delaware North as well as the bar tender, Rich, who was also very helpful and did his best given the situation. This is a good example for how to handle a negative situation. Well done Rob and Rich!

Great place to meet up with friends. Friendly bartenders and great service. Restaurant is clean with a good selection of menu options. Quick service area accommodates all your snacking needs. Local bands on the weekends play a variety of genres making it the perfect place to go on those rainy weekend nights!

Hamburg Gaming is a wonderful, clean, safe, fun casino. It is one of our most favorite casino's to visit and we live 90 minutes away. Love to play here every chance we get.

Erie County Fair - I forgot how great the stunt artists are!! Go. See. These. Shows!! The Red Trouser Show (hilarious and great acrobatic stunts). Also the Ultimate Stunt Circus - I realized a few times that my mouth was hanging open as I'm watching. These are impressive, Nationwide shows in our little neck of the woods! Some party of my WNY brain wants to discount the fact that they are coming here like a grade school project, but ALL of these acts are Great! Don't miss the Yummy Goodness here. Will Will was the nice guy up front when you enter and my mom didn't have her ID so I have he let her wait right with him and told me don't worry just go to the car and get her info. Very nice man and the money guy with the glasses it was very nice and funny especially I told him not to tell my wife I took some money out of the ATM and he just left and then my wife had to cash in her winnings and I said you didn't tell her did you? Nice man

It needs to be a little updated staff was friendly but they didn't have drinks excessible or easy to get to also. There wasn't many wait staff but A-OK casino. I do recommend this for my friends and I will be back. Oh yes You're also as a live band there which was a decent Band.

This is the first time I have attended a concert at this venue since the 90s and everything was far more organized than I remember. I hated attending concerts here back then because it always felt like pure chaos, but the Blink-182 concert was well organized from entering parking to getting into the venue and seated. Food vending has much improved along with bathroom access.

Great venue, good sound quality. Easy to get to, parking close to venue (ultra premiere parking right next to entrance). Very clean and safe environment.

I wanted to give the theatre a 4 star instead of a 5 but it's not their fault I got stuck beside an idiot chain smoker that liked chatting. 😉 I loved the size of the beer cans and the drink selection. The seating was a bit tight, but it worked out pretty good overall. Luke Bryan concert helped make it a great experience I am sure. Better signage at the exit to direct people to campground vs exit might be helpful. Staff here was super friendly. They obviously don't allow park food staff to work at the amphitheater!

Great venue. Usually I sit in the lawn as it is relaxed. I lay out a blanket and sit with some friends. I did go for the lumineers concert and I got ID by an undercover cop which was hilarious (I am well over 21). Other than that it was a great night :)

Went to Weird Al concert July 2025. 8p show. Puddles Pity Party was opener (omg.. he was great!!). About 78F w/no breeze. Parking fee for concert.. $30, $70, $110. Crazy. Circuitous path to get to amphitheater entrance. Clear bags allowed or rectangular wallet sized. If you have clear bag, you're in the "bag" line, else ur in the "no bag" line. Then onto the ticket line. Then another line to get to your seat. Seats are stadium style (fairly comfortable), but be warned: the layout is fairly flat, so it's hard to see over avg/tall people in front of you. And, there were lots of larger people all around us, so it was hot & cramped. Little buggy (gnats, flies, mosquitos). Bleh. Also, you can get food & bev once in amphitheater entrance. Plenty of booze options. I would not preference coming here again. Look for another venue.

Went to the Weird Al concert on 7-11-25. I use a electric wheelchair. There was a lot of handicapped parking, paved so wheelchairs and other mobility devices could be used with ease. I had a lawn ticket and it was easy to get to a good spot. I had a blast. 😀

They definitely stepped their game up compared to previous concerts. Smooth entrance and exit. VIP seating is pretty great if you get the opportunity.

Severely lacking improvements. Used to go there a lot in the 90s as a child and it was kept better overall and my biggest complaint is the robbery on concessions. $23 for a slice of pizza and a water (small bottle). $11 for a small ice cream (normal size Dip N Dots). Same price for the custard (small). $11 for a pretzel (that's it) just a pretzel. The prices are just outrageous!!!! The ride times are extremely short (about 2 minutes) I guess it keeps the lines shorter that way (who knows but all the rides were extremely short). I went on a Thursday and noticed a lot of rides were closed along with many of the overpriced games. Lack of staff? Saving money by reducing staffing until the weekend? Who knows. All I can say is this- They have taken the famous Big Ferris Wheel out and didn't invest in anything to replace it with, just the slabs of concrete bases it used to sit on. It's actually sad. Nothing new as far as rides have been added in a very long time (since the Super man Ride of Steel)? Seems like the management have given up and at this point are trying to milk customers for everything it's worth in concessions before selling out to another company. Sad, a real shame.

Overall we had a great time, unfortunately the water park was closed but it was the end of August. Rides were great, something for everyone. Lines were reasonable and vary throughout the day. Food options were limited and grossly overpriced. Tables were sticky and not clean, roof water dripping on the table (lost a star easily for this alone). The paid go-karts were boringly slow, definitely the slowest I’ve ever experienced (lost .5 star). Staff were pleasant. We all look forward to our next year’s visit when the waterpark is open!

We were just at the park camping this weekend. We went right when it opened at 11 to go to Rde is Steel. But it didn’t open until around 11:30. Not impressed. Then a couple of the main rollercoasters were closed for the season? We brought our own food. But I can see why people were complaining the food prices were high. Our camp site and the laser show at the end of the day were both great!

First time here. Was decent experience.Staff was friendly.Had to go through security search was odd we dont do that in Canada.The biggest complaint was getting season passes there was not goid information regarding id n such after buying passes. We had to make 2nd trip back to our motel in Attica paid extra for this. Other then that was good experience. Food was bit pricey so we bought the day food upgrade.Since we do not drive made it difficult to get back n forth from Attica. Totally enjoyed my 4 days there.I will find six flags locations to go to there are easier when person doesn't drive.

It was ok! It has been many years since I have visited and it seems like it has gone downhill but we had a good time. The cost for everything is very high! One thing that was concerning, a child was not tall enough for the rollercoaster and was still let on. The worker was trying to do the right thing but other patrons were yelling to let her on and unfortunately the pressure must have got the best of her because the child was let on the ride. That was absolutely not ok. I have lost a child and it's not something you ever want to experience. I wouldn't trust the attendants to make sure your child is safe to go on the ride.

I have been been to a number of Frank Lloyd Wright masterpieces around the NE including Falling Water and Polymath Park. I have to say, Graycliff was my least favorite project. First, our docent was mildly annoying but whatever, she was knowledgeable and probably works for free or nearly free. The grounds were under construction and had to park in the mud as there was no space. Porta potties on site, smelled and were leaning over. Gates and dust all over... in my option just fully close it and finish visitor center and do repairs on maintenance on HOUSE duriing downtime. The grounds and exterior elevations of the house are impressive but the interior is stoic and depressing. Boring, lacking any charm or impact just looked like any old cottage I could buy. Upstairs is easily the most drab, horrible string of spaces of any hour tour I paid for. Small, cramped and all the flair of a medium security prison. The grounds are in shambles, huge weeds and trees obscure any lake view they reference evey 5 mins. Overall, it appeared run down, shingles, paint, rot, warped wood... even FLW didn't care about his Graycliff renos after clients changed aspects.

Mike C our tour guide was personable and knowledgeable. This Frank Lloyd Wright space is a little different than some of the other typical ones you may come across on tours, but just as viable and interesting historically as well as design aesthetic. Definitely must see for many Frank Lloyd Wright fan.

For now, by appointment only, but they're building a new visitor's center over the next year, so that should be great! Wonderful how it is now though and the Docent was extremely nice and informative. Definitely worth the visit.

A must see for Frank Lloyd Wright fans. Sited on a beautiful lakeside lot, the house is currently mostly empty with a bare minimum of furniture to show the rooms’ potential. Many design details typical of FLW including custom windows, oak built-ins, and beautiful views from each room. Volunteers who clearly love this place offer guided tours, so reservations are a must. Though still in the throes of a multi-million dollar restoration, the grounds are exciting. There is no lake access. Definitely worth the drive from Buffalo.

We had an amazing docent who was very knowledgeable about the property. I was more intrigued by the history of the property, its ownership and how it came to be, not that it was designed and built by a famous architect. The stories told by our docent made it come alive and I could feel the history and presence of tranquility that the owners achieved and must have felt when they enjoyed their summers on such a marvellous property. We will be back again and cannot wait to see the annual changes with the restoration efforts of dedicated volunteers and new visitor center next year!

A walk along a visionary legend this is a incredible tour. A guided tour that passes along a lot of information on Frank Lloyd Wright his work and life. A must when visiting the western area of New York

Our tour guide, Marion, was a wealth of knowledge. Having seen the Martin House the day before, and knowing some background of the family, this was a natural next stop on our trip. What a delightful contrast, just 20 years or so after the completion of the Martin House. Shows the tastes of his wife, Isabelle, with the wonderful, light feeling. Although the visitor center was under construction, it didn't impact the tour. Wonderful visit!

I took the 75-minute tour today and absolutely loved it. Lou was my guide and he did a great job. I've been to around a dozen or so Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and this was the most spectacular. The property is sprawling, the home is meticulously restored, and the landscaping is so beautiful. This is a must do in Buffalo for any architectural buffs.

We took the 2 hr tour. Parking is in the surrounding streets and watch the signage for allowed days and times. Tickets were on every car illegally parked. The house is obviously impressive and massive. Being fairly tall, I really didn't care for the areas with low ceilings that were intended by wright to either move you along or to sit down. Interior woodworking was impeccable and outside construction flawless. The guide seemed focused on minute details of the owners life and family rather than the house. But it was informative and very well run.

Frank Lloyd Wright architecture lovers will be very excited to see the restoration and current condition of this beautiful piece of residential art! Every detail was understood and perfectly restored to its original condition. Part of the house and an adjacent FLW home were destroyed in the past and all of it was rebuilt to exacting details and materials. As soon as you step into the home, it takes your breath away with sights, lights and sounds like no other home. It is not Renaissance grand, but it is FLW grand and I like that better. The warmth of the woods, the glass that makes the light talk to you and the art all over the house secretly disguised as furniture are all amazing. The docents were professional, very knowledgeable that provided just enough time for guests to stop walk around and take it all in. They answered questions politely with additional stories about the family and additional history bits. There are several choices of options for the tour with progressively longer and more complete tours of the home, adjacent buildings, and grounds. I highly recommend touring this Frank Lloyd Home in Buffalo!

The tour began with an excellent video laying the background for the design and building of the estate. Dave, our tour guide, was a wealth of information, and very entertaining. He was able to respond to all questions. We took the two hour tour, which I would highly recommend. We went in October, but I would love to return in spring/summer when the gardens are in bloom.

What a spectacular place! My family enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the relationship between Mr. Wright and Mr. Martin and their partnership in building this house. The house has been beautifully restored and is a treasure. Our volunteer guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the property. We are glad to have gotten a membership and look forward to returning.

Amazing tour. We took the 2 hours tour and it surprisingly went very quickly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house, the history of the person that commissioned the house to be built, FLW, and the neighborhood. Even if tour are not a fan of FLW, you will enjoy this tour of the property.

We visited the Martin House on our way to Niagara Falls. The architecture is beautiful, and the history behind it is fascinating. It even inspired us to visit Paris to see the original piece of the Statue of Victory.

Went on free Thursday in October was great weather not hot or cold was plenty of people for a weekday. Got to see the baby red panda were so cute .We had a burger at the burger restaurant was very good weird the pop was more than the burger! Spent couple of hours there got to see everything loved the polar bear and giraffes and the rainforest.

This zoo may be small in size but it is really nice. They have so many cool animals like Hyenas, Snow Monkeys, Seals, Polar Bears and of course Buffalo, as well as so much more. The Hyena I saw was so cute. Also apparently I went there while they were celebrating their 150th anniversary so there were a bunch of big light up displays and animal figures. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It is a lot of fun.

A wonderful zoo with friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging staff. The zoo is very easy to navigate and isn't so large that you feel like you can't see everything in a timely manner. My wife and I purchased the giraffe encounter and that was just the icing on the cake. I would highly encourage you to look at and purchase an encounter to get a behind the scenes look that you can't get otherwise.

Very skimpy on animals. Good for a nice walk on a good day. I hope they turn it into an animal rescue site and rehab . We don't really need to cage more wild animals but great if born in captivity or a rescue. I understand the eagles can't fly doe to injury, the animals there are well taken care of and look really healthy.

Waste of money. This was the worst zoo I have ever been to $60 plus for 3 people plus parking! 0 out of 10 do not recommend. The animals looked like they were unalived. The lions looked half starved. The animals barely moved. The polar bear which was the highlight of the visit looked miserable sitting in dry dirt. No water in sight or anything for the poor guy. This place makes me see while animals should not be in cages. They did not look happy at all. I wished I could have saved them from their despair. Poor things. Do better for the animals. Also they were decorating but not decorating. Just had junk laying everywhere in piles even blocking walk ways. Very unprofessional and unpleasant in my opinion. Awful place 😖

Once again a visit for the 'Zoomagination'. 🎊 This event never disappoints. Best viewed in the later evening hours, but come early enough to check out a show. 👍 Easy walking,🚶‍♂️ but a bit of it to do, to see all the displays. Most of the animals are asleep, or the areas are closed, so not an extra distraction. Light displays are spectacular and well done, with some being interactive. Great for all ages! Don't miss this amazing event ❤️ while its here! Run, don't walk! 😉

Our first trip to the Buffalo Zoo as we were passing through the area was great. A smaller zoo but with plenty of animals to see. It is an older zoo, 150 years old, and some areas are very dated, but you can see they are working to update all the areas. They were setting up for the Zoo Lantern Festival that looks like it is going to be amazing. We spent about 4 hours at the zoo and still didn't get to everything. I guess it just means another trip back when we are passing through Buffalo again.

We had a great time visiting the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, especially taking advantage of the free admission on the first Friday of the month. The atmosphere was fantastic — peaceful, inspiring, and perfect for exploring art. The architecture of the museum itself is beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Inside, the collection of art is truly impressive, with a great mix of contemporary and classic pieces. It’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, and we’re looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommended!

Never disappoints! The AKG is where I was first inspired by art, and it’s priceless to see that light shine in the little ones I now bring there. Creativity is ALIVE here, through excellent curation, community interaction, and convivial staff. The building is so well designed and has the most beautiful park views in Buffalo. Pro tip: head to The Terrace afterwards (a restaurant right across from the back entrance by the lake) for a more relaxed meal and cocktails than Cornelia. There’s a beautiful view of the original museum exterior from the restaurant and you’ll walk amongst some outdoor sculptures on your way.

Had a bestie date here to specifically experience the Yayoi Kusama exhibit: One with Eternity. The exhibit was so much fun and an awesome interactive experience. Beautiful museum, and I appreciate the on-site parking also! I plan on purchasing a membership soon especially with winter coming so I have a reason to leave the house and what better reason is there than art?!

Incredible museum. No spoilers. A must visit for locals and visitors. The staff is friendly and ready to answer questions. The restaurant Cornelia offers a dynamic menu, and you can order at the bar if you prefer to eat under Common Sky (canopy of glass and mirrors). The enclosed glass walkway and the Gundlach building are stunning additions. The bathrooms are always clean and classy (the doors reach the floor, a nice upgrade for a public restroom).

This is a great art museum with a lot of really beautiful and fascinating pieces including a lot by famous artists. And while I didn’t quite understand and was very confused by some of the more avant-garde pieces, I still quite enjoyed checking it out. Definitely worth giving a look if you’re an art lover or know someone who is.

Buffalo provides a respectable modern art experience for visitors. You will not find any ancient artifacts at the AGK since they were auctioned off to fund the shift to modern art. You will have to go to the MAG in Rochester or to NYC and visit The Met for those experiences. That aside, there are some significant pieces of art by Rodin, Dali, Warhol, Pollock, Kahlo, Matisse, Kandinsky, Seurat, Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh & Cezanne. I'm not a fan of modern art in particular, but I do appreciate the opportunity to discover new artists that I enjoy like Mickalene Thomas , Gary Simmons or Frank Moore. The collection of art by more widely known artists makes it worth the trip, even if you're not a fan of modern art. Other reviewers have mentioned how security tends to hover over visitors and I did notice that on our visit. It was a bit odd at first, but I decided to ignore it and not let it bother me. Our stop at the cafe was a pleasant experience. We enjoyed our cappuccino, latte, and scone, which were well made and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. A map of the museum with exhibit locations should be provided for visitors, but we were not offered one and there wasn't an up to date digital copy available.

I recently visited Nickel Beach in Port Colborne for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away by its beauty and tranquility. This hidden gem offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and family-friendly amenities. The sandy beach is expansive and well-maintained, providing plenty of space to relax, sunbathe, and play. The water is clean and refreshing, making it ideal for a swim on a hot day. What stood out the most to me was how dog-friendly the beach is! I brought my dogs along, and they had an absolute blast running around and splashing in the water. There are designated areas where dogs are welcome, ensuring everyone has a great time. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced, and the facilities were clean and accessible. There are picnic areas and plenty of spots to set up for a lovely day by the water. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, with friendly locals and fellow visitors enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Whether you're looking for a serene spot to unwind or a fun place to bring your family and pets, Nickel Beach is a fantastic choice. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

August 2022 5* This is our first visit to Nikel Beach and I am already planning to visit again. The most important thing, Reservation is must specially on weekend. You will not get entry otherwise. Will cost around $50 per car. The beach is super clean and water is clean. Best sand (white) I saw in Ontario. You can enjoy swimming and water support with kids. Make sure to carry your tent and umbrella as there is no natural shading. You need to have some space. There is permanent toilet on the beach but have installed porta toilets. I did not use them so not sure if it was clean. The sand dune can be high for car at certain point and your vehicle can stuck if it is not 4X4. Don’t get panic and feel free to ask help or remove little bit sand before moving vehicles.

Parking is extremely pricey. We came at 5 pm and only gave us one option. $35 which is ridiculous because nobody would be staying here until midnight anyway. The overwhelming sewer smell as you walk closer and closer to the beach. Water looks dirty. The sand is nice but that's the only good thing about it. I wouldn't waste money again to come here. We brought the kids to do splashtown on the lake and were given 2 different times it closes. On the website it says it closes at 7pm but when we got here we were told 6pm. They have one inflatable boat that takes you there or you have to swim to it. Not worth coming here in my opinion.

I went on Journey on the Falls on a hot Thursday morning and there wasn’t a wait or any crowds in the tunnels or the elevators. It was interesting to get up close to the falls, especially the tunnel area with a bigger area near the top. I didn’t feel the price fully justified the experience. You won’t get very soaked unless it’s windy, so no need to fuss over a poncho. Overall, still fun, but if you’re on a budget, it’s okay to skip and prioritize the boat tour.

We traveled by bus from Union bus station to Niagara falls bus station, around 43 CAN/adult. There, we bought another ticket to the falls which was about 10 minutes far by that bus. The scene was breathtaking, especially that it was snowing. We walked around for an hour, took amazing pictures and had some coffee in the adjacent cafe, then came back the same way It is a must experience for those who visit Toronto, and it deserves the effort done to reach the location

A lovely activity where you can see the waterfalls up close from below, making them even more spectacular. Definitely 5 stars for that. However, since it's really just a tunnel with 3 exits, it's over very quickly. For just 15 minutes of fun, I think the price is a bit too high. I'd recommend the boat tour and the Power Station instead.

Behind the falls was great. I'd say the viewing platform was the best part, as the portholes inside the tunnels, while interesting, were not worth the short-ish lineup. They were basically bored-out squares that had a seemingly solid block of water in front of them, so there wasn't much to see, but that's not their fault, haha.

It’s a really nice Tour to see behind this giant masses of water running down the cliff, make sure you do it when it’s warm because there will be water all arround you. They provide coats that you don’t get wet, the tour it self is not guided I believe and you need aprox 30mins to get it done. Make sure you buy tickets in advance because the lines can get long on a busy day

Absolutely stunning, i highly recommend visiting once in your life time. We went during a weekday in September and it was not very crowded. Pretty east walk from one side of the falls to the other (about 30-45 min at a very leisurely pace and stopping for photos.)

This was a bucket list adventure and it was absolutely amazing! The falls are so beautiful and powerful. The scenery is incredible in the park, especially in the fall. We did a boat ride to the falls and we could feel the water spraying up on us as it hit the water below. Of course Canada is just on the opposite bank.

I've seen the falls a few times now, but this was the first time seeing them outside of winter. Waterfalls are mesmerising any season, and autumn is no exception. Incredible sights, beautiful views, absolutely recommend visiting them at least once in your life.

Amazing place. So clean, so beautiful, with the falls accessible day or night. To access the closer parts, like the boat or the tunnel, you'll have to buy a ticket. Our group booked via the hotel. You pay more, but the tour guide/ driver reduces all stress and offers an in depth historical tour to boot. The falls themselves are so beautiful, majestic in size and yet so calming. Nature the way God intended. Incredible views, and the USA side more relaxed compared to the Canadian side. The view of the falls better from Canada overall, but you get up closer from the USA side. Weekends much busier than week days, but worth it no matter what day you choose. All hotels are within 10 minutes walk, so don't worry what one you choose. Free fireworks show at 10pm every night, lasting between 5 and 8 minutes. Spectacular place.

It was Wednesday morning when I arrived at Niagara Falls, and since it was the end of the season, the streets were almost empty. Only a few people, including me, could be seen around the state park or walking along the city roads. The view of Niagara Falls is absolutely breathtaking, and I highly recommend visiting the Shoreline Trail either early in the morning or in the evening.

First, I do love the atmosphere of the place. The lights and ambience is beautiful. Last time I was here though was right before covid hit, so things have changed since going back. First I noticed, more eating places and less actually shops. The one place I would shop for clothes at, I see is gone and taken over by the expansion of the casino. Second, one of our main reasons for going is always the buffet. It was seriously one of the best! After walking aimlessly trying to find it, we asked a worker who told us they got rid of it 2-3 years ago. We were crushed... so we left to find a restaurant outside of the building and would come back to play at the casino. Well! The person saw us come into the parking lot and knew we were only there for 15 mins at that. Made us pay the high fee for parking for 15 minutes even after we said we would be back too.... so we had to pay the parking fee twice!!! 🙄 it was really not an enjoyable time, from what it used to be.

This review is for the concert venue. I recently went to a fantastic concert here. Every interaction with staff was great, super helpful and plenty of them. The sound system is great, perfect size venue in my opinion, big enough to see great performance, and small enough to enjoy them! Seats are on the large size and they also have cup holders 😃 Beer and wine overpriced like at any other concert venue, 20dls for a glass of wine and 18dls for a beer after tip. Please DO NOT PAY for the overpriced parking they have. There's plenty of parking lots walking distance from this place and at better rates.

From the moment we checked in, Jessie made us feel truly welcome. Since it was a birthday stay for my wife, she kindly upgraded our room from the 6th floor to the 22nd. The view was absolutely stunning—especially at night with the falls beautifully lit up. We were also surprised and delighted by a thoughtful cookie treat for her birthday. The room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. This was our second stay at the Fallsview, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for another wonderful experience!

Went to a show at the olg stage to see mark Normand, stand up comedy. Great show extremely funny .seating had plenty of leg room and very comfortable .Good view of the stage .The actual casino was really busy. . Didn't bother with the gambling. Super facility. Recommended.

Didny stay in the hotel but used the casino a couple of times. Lovely staff smoke free and a good selection of slots and table games. Had a couple of decent wins on huff and puff and big win on three card poker. A guy won major jackpot on texas progressive 209k we go to a good few casinos and would come back to niagara just for this. Had a great time. Its been a while since we came out with more cash than we took in!

I recently visited Casino Niagara and had an enjoyable experience overall. The casino offers a wide variety of games, from slots to table games, catering to all types of players. The atmosphere is lively and exciting, making it a great place to spend an afternoon or evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience. Additionally, the dining options were impressive, with several restaurants offering delicious meals. However, I felt that some areas of the casino could use a bit of updating, as certain sections appeared a bit worn. Nevertheless, the location is fantastic, right near the breathtaking Niagara Falls, which makes for a perfect day out. I would definitely recommend visiting Casino Niagara for a fun and entertaining experience!

I came here for a lunch buffet. Despite the bad reviews, I gave it a try. I lowered my expectations, so it was just like how I expected. The restaurant reminded me of a dormitory dining hall, extremely noisy and crowded. The food was not as bad as the reviews I read. There are plenty of options, one way or another you will find something to enjoy. It’s relatively cheap, so the price-quality point was good. However, your visit reason shouldn’t be for dining, but for the view and the overall experience. You can definitely find better food around the area, but you can’t always eat on top of the tower. So, I would suggest visiting this place once in your life and one time only.

We came for the views with a relaxed meal experience. We got that absolutely 100%. The food was good, without being brilliant. No complaints. The service was ok, but a little chaotic. The views and revolving restaurant (not the buffet) was what we came for, and what we got as an experience. Its a litle over priced for what you get for sure. We came to Niagara for a once in a lifetime experience, and this restaurant played its part. We also got to experience the views from the observation deck afterwards as well, so overall would do it again, even knowing the rest of what i mention.

While I did not go to the restaurant, I did go for the observation deck and it was so stunning. The view of Niagara Falls is amazing as well as being able to see the Buffalo and Toronto skylines. I highly recommend. The elevator up was also such a cool experience!

Recommended, view is worth it. Food was nice good portions, salmon was really tasty cook perfectly. Service wasn’t good we have two waiters one a girl was nice but the older guy was no patient and kind of rude. But we saw other tables were really happy with services maybe just our luck. Nice place to go, as the CN tower rotates so you can have a 360o view in around one hour period.

We went to the buffet dinner for $55/person. Expensive but beautiful view, food not so good. The rolls were rock hard, the steak/beef was dry and chewy, the chicken had a strange texture. The desserts were basic and slightly bland. The food was very disappointing especially for the cost. We couldn’t get out fast enough. I think we ate about $5 worth of food. None of us finished our plates. I didn’t want to complain because the help was very nice and sweet and I know they didn’t cook it. I would never go to the buffet ever again there but would try the other restaurant instead. The view on the observation deck was amazing! Really fun for the whole family.

How can you describe a revolving restaurant hundreds of feet up in the air with breathtaking views of Niagara Falls?!?! Outstanding service and food for a relatively good price. This is an experience NOT to be missed in Niagara Falls! My dinner companion and I were blown away!!!!

At the top of Skylon Tower, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of Niagara Falls! The breathtaking scenery, combined with the sound of the falls and a gentle breeze, creates an unforgettable experience!! Additionally, you’ll learn about the daring individuals who have attempted to cross the falls and witness the various vehicles they used beyond the barrels, including kayaks and a massive steel ball.

This Ferris Wheel was awesome. My wife and I always love to go on these for the views. We were not disappointed. The views were incredible. Even though the Horseshoe Falls were at a distance, the view was still amazing. Fortunately for us, the sun was starting to get lower so everything was glowing. The views of Ontario were also gorgeous. Often, rides like this can be quite pricey, especially in popular tourist areas. This one was $15 Canadian which is about $10.50 in US dollars. For that price, we were expecting two loops. We got five. Every time we went around, we gave each other a high-five. Overall, we both highly recommend it.

Riding the Niagara SkyWheel was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We went during the day, and I can't recommend it enough. Seeing the Horseshoe and American falls lit up in vibrant colors from 175 feet in the air was just breathtaking. The whole experience was smooth and comfortable. The line moved quickly, the cabin was fully enclosed and climate-controlled, which was a nice touch, making it a cozy and peaceful ride despite the buzz of Clifton Hill below. The ride lasted about 10-12 minutes, giving us plenty of time (about 3-4 full rotations) to soak in the 360-degree views and take some incredible photos without any glare from the windows. It felt very safe and steady the entire time. If you're trying to decide when to go, definitely choose the afternoon or the sunset! The glittering lights of the city and the illuminated falls create a truly magical experience. It's well worth the ticket price for a perspective you just can't get anywhere else. Five stars all the way!

Had been to Niagara Falls many times before but always ignored it. Decided to check it out this time and it was a very good experience. The view of the Niagara Falls and the city from the top was very unique and beautiful. Gives a different perspective. Definitely worth it.

We decided to try out the sky-wheel on a whim on a recent visit to Niagara. It was a fun little experience, albeit somewhat expensive for a short ride. Neat to experience the Falls from above! Not for anyone who is afraid of heights though (it took me a little bit to feel comfortable at those heights, especially when it stopped!) :). Once everyone is loaded you go around a few times before they unload everyone again. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

This is included with the Clifton Hill Fun Pass. The gondola was comfortable and spacious for the 3 of us. The views were great of the surrounding area and the Falls were not too far away. We were lucky as it was not busy, no wait, car to ourselves.

The White Water Walk offers a beautiful and refreshing experience. From the manmade wooden boardwalk, you get an up-close view of the turbulent, emerald-green Niagara River as it rushes through the narrow gorge. The naturally eroded rock formations add a scenic and calming element to the walk. The short tunnel from the elevator to the boardwalk adds a nice touch to the overall experience. While there is some waiting time for the elevator both going down and back up, it’s manageable. There’s also a souvenir shop at the exit where you can pick up gifts and memorabilia. Overall, a pleasant and worthwhile experience, especially for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful walk with stunning views.

It's a beautiful short walk just the entrance fee seems to be a bit much for what you get. (Also the reason for the 3* rating) Still happy we did it and I can cross it off my list now. Nice views. Sadly the platform closest to the river was closed off. The selfie point is useless couldn't find my picture but was offered (online by the system) to download other people's pictures. Very questionable in my opinion. Would recommend going early when the sunlight still hits the water giving you the most vibrant colours The wait was long. Clean area. Wheelchair and stroller mostly accessible - exceptions are the lookout platforms.

Walking through the White Water Walk was one of the most peaceful yet powerful experiences I’ve had. The sound of the rushing water, the cool breeze, and being so close to the rapids made me feel connected to nature in a whole new way. The boardwalk gives you incredible views of the whitewater and the sheer force of the river is just amazing to witness up close. It’s one of those experiences that pictures just don’t do justice you really have to see and feel it for yourself. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Niagara Falls.

A great way to see some rapids without getting wet, also very scenic before you hit the main falls area. Did this as additional to my plans in Niagara as I found it on the way to the Whirlpool attraction. Spent about an hour here but a lot of people spend longer later in the day, I assume there more people which means means more waiting for spaces to free up for photos on the observation decks and the more photogenic spots along the walking route. So go early in the morning like I did. The walk talkes place along a flat wooden pathway with observation openings along the way for those who want to get a bit closer or take photos. Overall this was a great calm way to see some amazing views and get a small idea of thebl speed of the falls before doing the Niagara City Cruises after. A must do if your in the area 😁

Walk was nice, but short.. 1 elevator for a bunch of people gets very crowded. Not sure if white water walk gives free parking, but we had to pay the expensive price of $8/ per hour! Staff were nice, lineup to go back up the elevator is very long… Overall a good experience just the elevator thing is very complicated and crowded

Wonderful experience. We were here on August 21st around 11am. Line was about 15 min wait for the elevator. Once on the boardwalk it’s a self guided tour. Wonderful views of the rapids and surrounding topography!

Absolutely beautiful experience! The Butterfly Conservatory is like stepping into a tropical paradise — warm, lush, and full of color. There are literally hundreds of butterflies flying all around you, landing on flowers, and sometimes even on you if you stand still long enough! 🦋 The place is super well-maintained and peaceful, with little walking paths surrounded by waterfalls and tropical plants. It’s perfect for photos and honestly feels like you’ve escaped into another world for a bit. The educational displays before entering are short but interesting, especially for kids. Such a relaxing and magical spot — definitely worth visiting if you’re in Niagara Falls. Great for families, couples, or anyone who wants a quiet break from the busier attractions. 🌿✨

We wanted a kid and baby-friendly activity for our mini getaway and am so glad we opted for this. We’ve been to Niagara Falls dozens of times but had never thought to explore this gem and we were so glad we did. We spent less than an hour here (thank you previous Google reviewers about the paid parking tip and only needing an hour!) yet it felt much longer. Adults, kid and baby were so enchanted by the exotic beauty of the thousands of gorgeous butterflies fluttering around. What a treat it was to be in their domain and admire in awe and wonder. It is humid of course so recommend to come in a t-shirt, regardless of the actual weather outside. We had our baby in a baby carrier and it worked out wonderfully; saw some other babies in strollers and preferred having a baby carrier as it allowed us to navigate easily on the paths. Gift shop was a lovely browse too; purchased a cute hologram butterfly bookmark for our son to remember this conservatory every time he reads. Highly recommended!

Cool small dome filled with many butterflies and tropical plants. I was impressed by the number of butterflies, but expected a little more variety of types. 20-30 minutes is plenty to see everything. Kind of expensive at over $20 for an adult and $8 parking in the lot. I would say it's worth stop if it's part of an included package...probably dont need to go out of your way to see just that unless you are a big butterfly fan.

Butterflies, science, and my inner 5-year-old fully activated! I didn’t expect to be this entertained by butterflies, but here we are. The place is packed with them—so many different kinds that I started naming them like Pokémon. One even landed on my shoulder, and for a brief moment I considered adding “Disney princess” to my résumé. The real MVP was the butterfly caretaker who answered approximately one million of my questions (I basically turned my visit into a field trip). He was so patient and full of knowledge, it honestly made the whole experience that much cooler. If you’re anywhere near Niagara-on-the-Lake, make this a pit stop. It’s colorful, relaxing, and will have you questioning your life choices if you didn’t wear bright colors to attract more butterflies. 10/10 would visit again—armed with more questions and maybe a net (just kidding… kind of).

If I could give this place more stars, I would. This was an AMAZING experience that felt like pure joy and relaxation at the same time. There were so many absolutely stunning butterflies of all different kinds. 10/10 recommend this place whether you’re traveling, just trying to get the family out of the house, or even for a fun date. I cannot express how beautiful this place and experience was. After the experience there’s a cute gift shop, as well as gorgeous gardens and even a cafe! Definitely a highlight of my vacation!

I’ve been here TWO times for my birthday, i LOVE it. I also really love Kyle, one of the workers there. he’s just like me. Tell Kyle he’s awesome. He might not remember me but i’m the pale boy with long-ish brown hair. Anyway, the butterflies are beautiful, the orange ones with yellow spots usually do not like touching me for some reason. remember to look for butterflies who are resting on the floor and pick them up and put them on a leaf so they don’t get stepped on! I recommend this place for insect enjoyers.

October 2025 review. I love butterflies. I been to Key West (Florida) butterfly conservatory as well, I find Niagara is probably bigger, has more variety of plants, trees and number of butterflies. STILL I find experience 45$ including tax for 2 adult people and 2 hour 16$ parking if you wanna enjoy garden and butterflies - way over priced and overvalued! Regardless how beautiful it all is - I still don't think it really worth 61$ for 2 hours being here. Alex Garden or Rosetta McClain Gardens (free parking) (Toronto) are absolutely free and as impressive as Nigara Botanical Garden. The city should cover some cost or at least offer free 2 hour parking. Tourist should not be treated as walking wallets.
