What a great place to stop when traveling along HWY 2 between East and West Glacier. They have so many amazing cocktails to choose from, or about 50 local alcohols to sample. And a great clean and fun location to take a little break.

Love this place. They have options to try a flight of their spirits or a cocktail. Plus, we were able to sit outside. We enjoyed a flight and purchased a bottle to bring home. It is located close to Glacier National Park, so it is easy to stop on the way to the Park, or grab a drink after visiting the park. We enjoyed our visit.

Passing through and saw this place off the highway. They offer a flight tasting which was nice to sample before picking the right gifts to bring back home. Prices were very reasonable! Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

Great pitstop near the park. They offer a wide variety of liquors made in house. A flight of four samples was inexpensive and everything was tasty. The staff was wonderful.

Very neat place with some interesting and flavorful choices. The Grand Prismatic Spiced Rum, Bearproof, and Badrock were some of our favorites.

Really fun stop. The tasting flights are fun, 6 bucks for 4 tastes and the option to do another or get a cocktail. The Rocky Mtn Caesar was spicy and delicious! Got a few bottles for friends. Reasonable prices and nice merch!

Amazing little distillery in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Me and two friends rolled in right after open and had some of the best customer service I've ever had. The whiskey is excellent, the tasting experience is amazing, the cocktails are great, and the staff is so friendly. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back for sure!

I took my 3 high school girlfriends who came to town, with husbands, as we celebrated 56 years since graduation. We saw All Shook Up and loved it!! My husband and I have seen several shows here the last couple summers. Truly a very professional group of actors from all over the country.

Went to "Catch Me if you Can" last night and it was amazing! Awesome show! Especially the girls, they were all suuuuper hot! Bigfork Summer Playhouse always delivers great shows and a great variety!

This is a wonderful playhouse! The actors are incredible! It's professional level quality! So excited to watch Mamma Mia this year, they did a performance a couple years back & it was hilarious!!! This place is awesome, and I can't watch to watch the plays this summer! Who needs to watch a movie, when you can watch a live performance... standing ovation, & lots of applause for Bigfork Summer Playhouse :)

We had a wonderful time and fell right into the story the actors portrayed. Something Rotten was a humorous experience with one surprise after another.

The production was songs from 4 decades, and the cast did a fantastic job! We thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast was very talented!

Great playhouse for kids into the arts to practice their skills. Gets participants from all over the country.

I forgot how much costs to enter but I do know it wasn’t super expensive. I suggest bringing snacks and watch out for ants and other insects or animals. The water is super clear and the bottom is rocky. A good pair of swim shoes is much needed or your feel will hurt or you risk hurting yourself. But all in all a great spot to relax whether you’re in or out of the water. The views are simply amazing.

Stayed here for a week and I absolutely loved it. This is one of the best lakes I’ve ever been to. We stayed in a lake home just outside Lakeside and it was great. The lake is relatively warm in the summer, (still pretty cold) and the scenery is amazing. The snow on the mountain tops never leaves even in the summer. You’ll love your stay here. Make sure to go to Wild Horse Island!

Beautiful and calm lake for kayaking. We enjoyed our trip to Bigfork MT. This lake has so much to offer. We only wished we rented jet skis for the day. Was chilly at the end of June but that didn’t stop us from taking a dip after kayaking.

Long overdue post. But we stayed here in an airbnb on the lake the week of the 4th of July 2019. The water was crystal clear. It's absolutely an amazing getaway vacation spot!!!! The only thing I wish we would have done was rent a boat to further check out the lake or do a fishing tour. We have wanted to go back but continue to pick somewhere different every year. 1 day I wouldn't mind buying a house on or very near the lake!!!!

Flathead Lake in Montana is an amazing sight to see as you're cresting the hill heading towards Polson on its southern shore. The valley and this lake were formed by the glaciers that covered this area. The receding glaciers and the massive ice jambs that formed and broke on more than one occasion left us with this awe-inspiring, extremely majestic landscape. The lake sits to the south of Glacier National Park and is 27 miles long, 15 miles wide, and 370' deep with a gravel bottom and crystal clear waters. Wild Horse State Park is located on an island only accessible by a guided boat tour. It is home to a wild herd of horses and remains relatively untouched by humans. Cool place to visit if you are in the area. I have watched storms cross this lake that kick up the waves and leave a distinct line in the surface of the water you can see when you come out of the storm into clear blue skies. The lake covers enough surface area that you might have storms on one area of the lake and sunny and hot in others. It's hard to believe this valley was once under a large body of water known as "Lake Missoula." When the ice dams broke on this massive body of water it caused the "Missoula floods"; a huge wall of water, mud, rocks and trees that stretched into Washington and Oregon thousands of years ago. This is what is left of that event, a place for us to explore and enjoy. A landscape that only mother nature could come up with. As always, leave it better than you found it. It literally took thousands of years to make...... Enjoy 😉!.

Our family has gone every year since the kids were little, during the July heritage days, however, we sadly missed last year. When we went this weekend, we all had a great time, and were impressed with the further restoration and new exhibits. The love for our state and nation’s history shines through whenever we get to visit. I especially love how much hands on stuff there always is for the kids; my boys have gone from playful toddlers to inquisitive and info absorbing adolescents, and the museum continues to see us through the phases of growing up!

Our 1st time coming to the museum with our 5 and 2 years old kids, and we all enjoyed it. It was so fascinating to see all the vintage stuff from long ago. They also have a playground for the kids to enjoy.

This place is an endless treasure trove of interesting artifacts. Bikes, toys, guns, sculptures, military vehicles, cars… the list goes on. We went during their Live History Days, when they fired up many of their vehicles and did demonstrations. It was simply amazing. We were there for hours. Do not miss!

The Miracle of America Museum was a super interesting experience during our stay in the area. The full catalog and scale of the museum is intimidating - to really see everything would likely take multiple trips. The sections we were able to get through during our visit ranged across tons of time periods and artifacts throughout American culture/history. It's not all the most engaging stuff to see, but there are some gems for sure.

What an unexpected gem of Americana of all sorts and lots of veteran info. Had no idea what to expect and ended um spending hours walking around and exploring all of the nooks and crannies. So much history packed in and we loved it. My hubby is a former active marine and appreciated all of the stories, letters and memorabilia from the USMC.

This is an incredibly fascinating and impressive museum. Family owned, and the man who started this as his personal collection, and turned it into a museum can still be found here today, with his wife and grand daughter at reception. We stopped as the displays roadside caught our attention while passing through town, not being sure what to expect, we wandered on in to be welcomed with smiles. For only $10 admission, you will be blown away, almost overwhelming collection of historical artefacts of all types, shapes, sizes and preferences. You could spend days here exploring all of the exhibits if you had the time!! I'm generally not a big museum person, but I genuinely e joyed our time here, and grew the utmost respect for the time, effort, work and commitment that's gone into building and preserving the entire collection. What impressed me more so was the amount of working displays and machines you could try/use. It is 100% worth a visit, I cannot recommend highly enough.

This museum was very interesting. Had a large building with lots of history and a lot of outbuildings. Also had a large wooden boat they used for logging. A definite must see

Amazing tour. This house is incredible. The tour guide was very informative and vast knowledge of information on this house. The things in this house were definitely ahead of their time. Highly recommend. The gardens are beautiful. The house is very well preserved with a lot of original artifacts. Definitely worth a stop.You also get greeted by the mansion cat. He was very sweet.

What an amazing historic experience! We went with children 9-12yrs and everyone enjoyed the whole thing. We did a self tour and spent a good hour wandering around looking at everything. 90% of the antiques and furniture are all original to the Conrad family so its like a time capsule of life in the later 1800's. Really recommend stopping!

Beautiful home with a lot of interesting history. The home is well kept as are the grounds. In the home we were told by the staff 90% of the furnishings and artifacts are original to the home which is quite unusual.

A true historical treasure. The house itself is beautiful, and so well kept. It looks like the family just left for the day, and would be back later that evening. That’s how good it looks. Our guide was Micah. She was a wealth of knowledge, funny, and knew how to wrangle the kids to where they were just fascinated with everything.

I loved learning about the history of the area and this mansion. Unfortunately, the Ghost Tours were all sold out but we still enjoyed walking the grounds and peeking in whatever windows we could. Hopefully, when we return, it will be open once more to the public. :)

Beautiful, quiet resort located north of Whitefish, Montana. Summer activities include a chairlift ride to the summit for hiking or biking, and an alpine slide. Nice base lodge with both indoor and patio seating and a coffee shop.

I drove up on a free day when my husband was in meetings. I had some difficulty locating where to park to access the ski lift. After 10 minutes of circling around in and out of private property, I found the ticket office. The kind man at the counter sold me a ticket and gave me precise directions to reach the lift area. The views close to the top and on top of the mountain are spectacular. The cafe at the summit house was great. There had a small.selection of sandwiches and salads and a nice bar area. I highly recommend.

Did the zip line which was expansive and thrilling. Very comfortable, but there is some short hiking in between positions. I would estimate half a mile total at most. Also did the alpine chutes and those were so much fun.

Summer at whitefish is almost as good as winter at whitefish. We enjoyed the ropes course, which is a challenge if you can make it all the way through to the expert course. We took a ride up to the top of the mountain, had some lunch and then slid down the mountain on the mountain luge.

We took a ride to the Summit. There's a restaurant/bar there and beautiful views. You buy tickets in the Base Lodge. There are two lifts to get to the summit. Chair lift 6 is an open chair lift that drops you off at Lift 1. Lift 1 has both open lift chairs and gondolas. You can choose whichever one you prefer.

We did a few activities there and it was wonderful! We took a hike up to the top and stayed at the lodge for some hot chocolate because it was raining and cold. After we got warmed back up, we took the gondala back down for a scenic ride. All of the workers we met were very helpful and friendly. We went back a second day and bought a few rides on the Alpine slide. That was a ton of fun, the entire family enjoyed it. The only tricky thing in the summer is parking... There is ample parking, but kind of tricky to find the closest lot as there was some construction going on.

We came here in early June and enjoyed a ride up to the top. It was an amazing view all around. I wish there were better directions to hiking around so we just hiked what we could find. Still beautiful and worth a trip up.

We had a wonderful ride on the Clark Fork with Marley! She was great and showed us a good time! We did fall in on Rollercoaster, but the rescue was in an instant and very professional. It was a great day, all in all. Mike was great at scheduling and helping us plan. A different Mike took great photos, and we have wonderful memories of a great day on the river! Montana River Guides is a great choice for rafting!

I am a return customer, this time with Carroll College. I first went to Montana River Guides with family in July of 2023. Then went Sunday, August 24th. It was a blast and they are always AMAZING!! Highly recommend going. It’s gorgeous and the guides are always so funny!! 😂

We did a river raft trip through Tarkio Gorge, along the Clark Fork River. It was an incredible experience. Our guide, Cole, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and sights we saw. We had a wonderful trip and would recommend it to everyone!

We had the BEST time ever on our rafting trip! Jane was our guide and she was amazing! She was so much fun, so knowledgeable and teaching us so much. We felt like we were all great friends by the end of the trip and we were sad for it to end! We will definitely be back many many times and will bring all our friends and family.

We loved the full day tour. Emma, our guide, was an awesome navigator of white water, and as a student of geology she made the trip educational as well. Definitely recommend!

Had an awesome time at raft guide school. Learned a lot about all things related to rafting from maintenance, how to read the water, techniques for navigating bigger waves, and how to flip your boat in 5 easy steps. 10/10 would do again.

We've stopped here multiple times through the years. The trout aquarium is always a favorite. The gift shop has mugs, hats, jewelry, clothing items, toys, lotions, etc. There is quite a selection of products featuring huckleberries and cherries. They also have quite a few flavors of fudge. There is ice cream, and drinks both hot and cold. This time, we got a chocolate latte, which was delicious, as well as their famous huckleberry shake. I thought it tasted good. Definitely sweet! It reminded me of a huckleberry ice cream dessert I had several years ago. The prices are definitely "gift shop prices." :) The restrooms were clean. It was pretty busy when we were there, but it's a popular stop so I wasn't surprised about that. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Amazing Huckleberry shake!! When the sign says Best Ever, it's spot on!!! Even at 7:30am. Amazing gift shop, so much to explore. So many amazing items. Bathrooms are absolutely some of the cleanest I have seen on my 2300 mile trip.

LOVE this store! I could honestly spend hours, and thousands here if I had my way. We stop every time we pass through (a couple times a year) and I always have to get some kind of trinket, jewelry, or artwork to take home with me. DON'T PASS this up!!😁 And yes, they are the best huckleberry shakes ever 👍

I just returned from a week during the roundup and I can only call the experience awesome. Everyone on the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, while still expecting a lot from you. This isn't a place to of if you want to be coddled. If you want a dude ranch then I'd suggest you look elsewhere. But if you want honest feedback given in a direct yet respectful manner, then I couldn't recommend McGinnis Meadows highly enough. If you want to be put to work managing steers from horseback, then this is the place to learn. They'll push you hard to be the best horseman possible, but won't let you do something that might hurt you or the horse. I'll be going back.

Fantastic experience. If you come here be ready for some accountability and discipline in the learning process Shane and Dez will not let you podunk and around and slip down a slope with your riding. I can’t wait to come back and learn more! Holly the head chef is a gem and will it let you go hungry! The wranglers are amazing and help add to the positive learning experience.

Not enough words to express my feelings of inspiration and gratitude for discovering this ranch ten years ago. Buck Brannaman himself recommended I re-start my horsemanship education here in hopes that some previous bad experiences that broke my confidence could be resolved and I've never looked back. Everything is top notch quality, from the horses, to the instructors (especially Shayne, Des, Roby and Janice), the comfortable accommodations and the landscape is unbeatable. Through years of following their horsemanship program, my riding style changed completely and I now feel confident in the saddle. It has been hard work but anything worth doing well is worth the effort. They really care about being physically fit and inspired me to lose the weight that was holding me back from being a better rider. They care about the mental aspect and being in a good mind frame and honoring the horse, which surprisingly has helped me in my personal life and business career. They host two Buck clinics here every summer and what a great opportunity it has been to ride my own horse (who I purchased from the ranch) as well as fantastic guest horses and feel what Buck teaches from an experienced horse who knows their job. The horses here aren't just trained, they are "guest ready" and 100% safe for beginner to advanced riders. I have had the great honor of watching these people start young horses, restart older horses and the attention to the smallest detail and the slightest "try" is inspiring and beautiful. This ranch is truly a testament to the great teachings of Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman, not to mention the great vaquero and dressage teachers who practice fine horsemanship. Come here with an open mind, leave your ego at the door and be ready to be welcomed into a place where the horse comes first and you will be rewarded with a fantastic experience that will carry through not only with your horsemanship, but in life. Great place for riders and people who want to submerse themselves into the cattle world for the first time. Lovely support staff, excellent food and comfortable lodging. This experience is one of the best. I highly recommend. The horses are well trained and maintained with care and integrity. You will find this an experience worth a lifetime.

Where do I start with praises for Mcginnis. It is hard to put into 200 words the special qualities of this place. I have been coming to the ranch for Winter Horsemanship for several years and it just keeps getting better and better. Shayne, Robbie, and Des are truly dedicated to the advancement of Brannaman horsemanship, in both the horse and the student. Hands down, the best quality instruction of horsemanship in the country. Shayne progresses and evolves with each passing day, and is happy to share this progess with his students. The staff and interns are respectful, helpful, and kind. The horses are top shelf, and are trustworthy, safe, and highly trained. Is it intense? YES. Is it hard? YES. But most things worth having in life are. I would recommend the ranch, and Winter Horsemanship, to anyone who is a looking for MORE. MORE quality in their horsemanship, MORE dedication to their progression, and MORE learning to feel FOR the horse and where he is coming from. There is no where else like McGinnis to gain the knowledge of how to move forward on your horsemanship journey. Your relationship with horses will change forever if you are willing to learn and change as well.

If you are a dressage rider I don't reconmended it, I went along, as I know that all riding at the end is the same, dressage, western all have similar principles. However sitting through lesson after lesson with someone telling that your chosen sport is cruel to horses, that dressage horse are all unhappy and it is all bad training. When it is easy to tell that they don't know much about dressage at all. Then the owner and his new girlfriend Des both have a go at you and instead of stopping and explaining what they want and what part of the gear they are referring to, (not everyone knows what a slobber strap is), they start telling you, you will ruin their horse. I was there to learn with a open mind but they were not there to teach with an open mine. All disclpines have people who don't treat horses well, you can't tell me all Cowboys do everything perfect.

No one can say it better than their own web site, which accurately describes this amazing destination. Every square foot of the ranch is beautiful. You have two housing options; cabins or lodge. Both options are comfortable, spacious, and attractive. Our cabin looked tiny from the outside, but it was very roomy inside. Two twin beds and a four drawer dresser upstairs, and a queen bed with two dressers downstairs. There were also two comfortable leather chairs, an ottoman, two more simple chairs, a gas burning fireplace, plenty of lighting, and a ceiling fan. All of the contents of the cabins are new, and at the same time give an authentic cowboy feel. They use tankless water heaters, so hot water is quick to arrive and you get as much as you need. Each cabin porch has two chairs, two warm blankets, and one two person bench, along with a broom, and coat-hangers where you can leave a wet coat or your helmet or your cowboy hat. If you've forgotten something, no worries, they have whatever you need, and it's all included. They also provide each guest with a note pad, water bottle, lip balm, and a very nice souvenir coffee cup. Whatever your skill level, whatever your age, they can teach you to ride. Their wranglers are friendly and patient. You can spend the entire week taking horsemanship lessons, herding cattle, going on trail rides, or simply relaxing. They do a great job pairing you with a horse, and they have plenty of horses to choose from. Spend plenty of time getting to know your horse on day one so you will know which horse to halter up on day two. They will also teach you to rope a calf, brand a calf, and anything else you want to know about working on a cattle ranch. The guests eat breakfast and dinner together, and lunch is eaten whenever you like. Every meal is bountiful and tasty, no food goes to waste, and if you have a special request, just ask. They provide bottled OJ, green tea, Gatorade, and refillable water bottles, They also serve a variety of wine, great appetizers, beer, and dessert. Be sure to let them know if you are celebrating something. They make great desserts!! Most of the staff will join you for dinner, and they make a point of moving around each night so you get to know everyone, providing a family feeling to the entire experience. Forget your boots? Borrow a pair. No chaps? Borrow a pair. No cowboy hat? Borrow one. They will lend you just about everything you need including bug spray and sun screen. Homesick? Bring your favorite DVD or VHS, and watch it on the big screen in the Game Room where they have a Foosball, pool, ping pong, and air hockey table, along with cards, poker chips, and other games. They also have a washer and dryer in case you run low on clean cloths. Something extra... You can do as much or as little as you like. You can grab a halter, catch your horse, groom him, feed him, get him saddled up, put his bridle on, and take care of all of this in reverse at the end of the day, or you can let the wranglers handle some or all of this for you. In addition to the regular activities, they put a sign-up for the morning jingles on Tuesday - Friday. If you love to ride, be sure to sign up to jingle the horses in from the pasture. One of the wranglers will meet you in front of the tack room at 5:50 am, help you get a jingle horse ready for the ride of your life, and then spend around half an hour with you riding through the early mist as you trot non-stop to bring all of the rest of the horses in for the morning. This was our first visit to McGinnis Meadows Cattle and Guest Ranch, but it definitely won't be our last.

They were wonderful! The only thing that was disappointing, is that we thought there would be more than one zip line. The guides were pretty great. They made us feel safe and paid attention to detail. It was a very fun experience, even if only one line!

We had a great experience with Zip Wallace. Scott the owner was so friendly and his team is amazing. Ethan was so thorough in making sure we were safe (which i truly appreciate) Drew was hilarious. We had a great group that added to the fun. I would highly recommend this zipline, especially for a beginner. Just a note, it is 1 zipline (can ride side by side) and you can go as many times as time allows. I would highly recommend.

Four of us booked a time for Zip Wallace. From completing the waiver forms to the end Scott & Ethan were the most helpful, hospitable, and entertaining people to manage this ‘first’ experience for us. None of us had zip lined before. Scott & Ethan were very safety conscious about our harnesses, hooking our safety lines , and resetting the brake catch mechanism. A first for us and we are going to plan another visit!

Awesome instructors it's all about safety first and a good time of course. We were the last group of the season. If you have never been zip lining before do it you won't regret it.

Absolutely LOVED our zip lining experience! From start to finish, it was super fun and packed with excitement. The staff was incredible—friendly, funny, and totally focused on safety without ever making it feel stressful. They communicated everything clearly and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. Their great humor and easygoing conversation kept us laughing and relaxed the entire time. Honestly, we were having so much fun, we didn’t want it to end—we could’ve stayed out there all day! Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a thrilling, well-run adventure with a crew that truly knows how to make it memorable. 🌲💯

Amazing crew! We really enjoyed the light funny atmosphere. It was our first time zip lining and they made it so comfortable and amazing. I even got stuck and someone came out and got me!! I really enjoyed it. Thank your from my husband and I from the bottom of our hearts!

Great Zipline experience! The guys running it were very helpful and knowledgeable. They even had snacks, drinks, & games. We are in our 70s and we had so much fun! Highly recommend it.

SOULLESS CORPORATE SKI MTN Skiing was fun. Mountain felt corporate and soulless. Paid $400/night for a room with a window that leaked so much that ice formed. Good food and vibes at The Outback. Ops employees like lifties, ski school, and ski patrol all super dialed and on point. Too bad Schweitzer went corporate and sold out, used to be cool but now they're generic and bland like the rest.

The experience at Schweitzer was awesome. This mountain was perfect for a beginner to learn. The blues were not too steep. The snow was not so great, the first few days were corn snow slush that got refrozen and then reworked the next day. But WOW the scenery was crazy beautiful. I’ve never skied somewhere with a lake visible. It was awesome views , even on the green slopes haha. The shuttle bus from the bottom of the mountain to the village was a game changer, what a huge asset. So helpful. The crowds were sparse, not long wait times at lifts, were assuming all the locals stayed home because of the snow conditions. Overall, the mountain was awesome. Very beautiful and had a lot to offer, wish we got more time and some fresh snow.. next time!

A summertime MUST DO! We only rode the lift to the top and hiked around, then ate at the restaurant, but can't wait to go back and ride bikes all over! There's also zip lines, horseback rides, and so much more.

We called an hour before arriving with plans to take the tram to the top for lunch. We were told by Karen who had confirmed with her boss Jessica that i would be able to take my service dog on the tram. I unhooked my trailer and left it parked below in a parking lot and drove 20 mins to the top. When i got to the front desk I was told vehemently that no dogs "of any kind" were allowed on the tram. Even got Karen on the phone to talk to the front desk lady Diane only to find out that Karen had been misinformed. wasted almost two hours because they can't train their phone people who are answering questions the correct answers.

Great small town atmosphere with a fairly extensive array of slopes and lifts on a big mountain. Friendly staff makes for a fun day. Most popular slope on front side faces sun so get there early if the snow is deep so you don’t get caught in deep chop and chunks.

Beautiful resort with excellent terrain and lift system. The resort sits at a fairly low elevation and we have had a fair bit of wet weather. Not sure if this is typical. Good skiing and good vibes.

Oh man, I liked Steamboat a lot, but this might be my new favorite. Not only is there a lot of terrain, it’s also VARIED terrain. The trails are also rated inverse to Sun Valley’s - in other words, trails are easier than they might seem. I never felt like a black diamond was too challenging. Despite now being an Alterra property, the food is a good deal and Cabinet Coffee is a must-have.

Great State Park with several campgrounds within. Each has clean bathrooms and hot showers. More than 40+ miles of trails for fun hiking and mountain biking. The lake is beautiful for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and boating. Love it.

We visited the state park on a Thursday. We arrive around noon so we couldn’t check-in to our campsite. We decided to drive around and see what it had to offer. We were completely surprised at how big the park is. Once 2 o’clock came we headed back to the visitor center and checked in. Our campsite was spacious. Dry camping only, in our loop. There was a bathhouse and toilets centrally located.

We loved our site we had 2 companion sites and were able to bring our pontoon, kept it on the camp site, we had amazing meals, hikes, and enjoyed some great times fishing can’t wait to go back next year!

Beautiful campground, friendly staff, close to town. Make sure your pets don't get off leash though, as you will get scolded, not very nicely by camp host. All in all, a very family friendly place and beautiful scenery.

This state park is absolutely gorgeous! The lake is stunning, and the swimming was awesome—such a perfect spot to cool off and enjoy the outdoors. The campgrounds are spacious, clean, and really well-maintained, which made the whole experience even better. Everything about the park feels cared for and inviting. I would highly recommend visiting, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

HUGE state park. There are a lot of great features! Favorites were: Beaver bay day use area - good swimming bay. You can't paddleboard in the bay itself, but you can launch and explore from there. Food is available for purchase at Wet Willie's, and there are rentals also. We packed in our own boards. Super busy, the parking lot was packed but it was still beautiful! Disc Golf - there are 5 courses to explore! Brig Museum - we spent so much time there and enjoyed it! We loved it and want to come back someday! It's worth noting that you can't hang hammocks from the trees while you're camping, which is a little sad. But the trees are probably better off, I suppose.

Lots of room at the campsites, quiet, great places to get in the lake, trails for hiking/biking, and not far from Athol if you need groceries or something. We loved our weekend here!

Was great! Spent 2 days in the parks at end of June, not too busy at all. Clean, so many rides and everyone was friendly. The preloaded wristband was good for the teen to get eats as he needed, no need to carry cash with.

Great experience at Silverwood this weekend! Visited from Montana and this amusement part was easily found with navigation. The line in moved quick. $10 parking, longer parking lanes to walk. Checked in at a bag/purse check area. Walked a running under to main road to get to the park. Entering the ticketing area was quick, buy your tickets online (you can even load cash to a wristband). Oh, don’t forget to bring a credit card or debt card with you “verify your online purchase”… The park map was helpful and easy to read. Overall, the park felt safe. Which is important! Plenty of staff and easy to get around. Great kids space with quiet areas for little ones. Consider bringing a change of clothes (socks) just in case you get wet in the raft/log rides. There were some demo coaster chairs at some entrances for trial, because not all body types work with all rides. That was considerate! The lines in general weren’t miserable but be prepared with sunscreen and to practice some patience. Have fun, hope our little review helps!

September was definitely a perfect time to go to Silverwood. Parking was easy. Short walk through the tunnel to the parks entrance. Tickets cost less when fall starts. Pizza was great while we got to watch the magic show. Lines were practically nonexistent. Got to go on all the rides and some multiple times because the lines were so short. Spent the whole day there from open to close and had a great time. Definitely going back next year.

I visited Silverwood Theme Park for the first time to experience Scarywood—and it was totally awesome. Riding roller coasters in the back, in the dark, was a completely different experience. As a thriller author, I naturally look for thrills. I’m not a full-on adrenaline junkie, but the characters I write definitely live for the rush. We spent more time riding coasters than exploring the haunted houses. People later said the haunted houses were amazing, but the lines were over an hour long. I wasn’t up for that kind of wait. It was also freezing. Even though I’d bundled up, I wish I’d worn fleece pants. Not a ding on the park—just a heads-up. If you go at night in northern Idaho, be prepared for cold. Food options were solid. Parking was a bit of a bottleneck. There were still open spots, but traffic getting in was hectic. Once inside, ride lines averaged about thirty minutes, which felt reasonable. Stunt Pilot was epic. I’d ride it again in a heartbeat. Looking forward to my next visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem of Pure Fun — Silverwood Is Outstanding! 🎢🌲☀️ Silverwood Theme Park absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful setting, friendly staff, and the perfect mix of thrill rides, family attractions, and water park fun. It’s truly a hidden gem in the Northwest — clean, well-run, and full of charm. The roller coasters are incredible! Stunt Pilot was smooth and intense, Tremors delivered insane airtime, and Timber Terror was a blast from start to finish. Even the classic Corkscrew was a thrill with its historic flair. The rides are well-maintained, and the wait times were super reasonable — a rare treat! Boulder Beach Water Park was the perfect way to cool off, with awesome slides, wave pools, and a great kids’ area like Poliwog Park. Everything felt safe, organized, and spotless. We also loved the live entertainment and the charming touches like the steam train ride with a fun little show — such a unique experience! The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, from the ride operators to food service to lifeguards. You can tell they take pride in the park and care about guest experience. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add more vegetarian options and maybe even a few Indian dishes to the food courts — that would make the park even more inclusive. Overall, Silverwood is an absolute 10/10! It’s got the magic of a big theme park but with the warmth and personality of a local treasure. We’ll definitely be back — and bringing more friends next time!

Everything was beautiful, pleasant and clean, including the parking lot and rest rooms! The staff were polite and respectful. Come on a weekday, not weekend. Our huge family had a wonderful time. If you attend with 15 or more guests, you qualify for a group rate, which needs to be booked ahead of time, & is so worth it! I only have one small complaint: the music was too loud. My family had to shout over each other to have a conversation. Kudos to their lifeguards, I can tell they're highly trained and take their jobs seriously. (I'm a certified lifeguard) Thank you Silverwood, we can't wait to come again next summer.

For about the fourth year in a row we have reserved a cabana at boulder beach to spend the day at Silverwood. This year we decided to upgrade to the family sized one in the Emerald Forest as we had more family with us. We only make it out to Silverwood once a year so splitting the cost between our families is worth the convenience the cabanas offer. The family cabana offers two tables, three sofas, a large fridge, several additional chairs, and a locking cabinet. Additionally you get six new Silverwood beach towels to keep, six tube rental vouchers, and VIP wrist bands to order food and drink. You can also scan the QR code in the cabana and order to have it delivered right to you for no additional cost. We had an amazing day taking the kids all through the park and coming back to the cabana to rest and regroup between rides. The one downside is the lines for the rides in the water park are so long. Towards the end of the day we made our way to the amusement park and spent the remainder of the evening watching the kids going roller coasters and everything else. Silverwood is always such a great time and something we look forward to every year. The cabana, for us, is money well spent. The one we had this time was 204 and it was shaded the entire day, as are almost all of the family ones. Last year we had one of the smaller ones and towards the end of the day the sun was shining fully into the cabana and it was very toasty.

Our absolute favorite place to getaway to! So many water activities that are offered (you can rent kayaks, paddle boards, peddal boats, and more!) And downtown area is walking distance, always something fun going on!

Lake Coeur d'Alene was beautiful and huge there are small towns around the lake many with docking... restaurants and bars. We rented a pontoon for a fair price...it was the best way to see all areas and a few towns. We spent the whole day on the lake it was a great time!

Beautiful Lake! Amazing place to vacation. The lake and watersports, seaplane rides, and biking/multi-use trails around the lake. Coeur d'Alene is a great little downtown to walk, with Huckleberry everything, good restaurants. Take a short boat ride from Coeur d'Alene resort to the golf course and have an amazing breakfast on the patio overlooking the floating green

If I win the lottery I'm buying a home here, beautiful lake, with the forested hills surrounding the lake, love it, very friendly people here in Idaho!!!

Tubbs Hill is worth driving over from Spokane for a hike. Depending on which trail you take, there are different levels of terrain difficulty. It is a long trek around without a bathroom. Go before you start your hike.

Awesome place to start the hike on the east side. Parking in a lot and on the street. Can hike to the quiet beach or complete the loop around Tubbs Hill.

Nice little hiking area. We covered most of the trails in an hour. They seem newly built and could probably use a few more switchbacks on the summit trails but it's definitely not a touch hike overall. The main loop is very easy. We parked in the east lot and had not trouble finding parking at 11am on Friday. Weekends are probably pretty busy though.

Nice neighborhood family-friendly trail park. Great for hiking or running. The trails are well marked. Elevation gain to the summit is manageable and doable for really almost everyone! Some bird watching and lots of deer roaming in the park.

It was amazing, but I'm very tired. A few trails for everyone 😁, we chose the loop trail, the whole trail was up or down, but the views were fantastic. We took many photos, nature is beautiful. There were many small and large rocks, bridges, the trail led among conifers but sometimes you walked in the sun without a bit of shade 😁. It was worth it although I had the moment that I could not cope, I would not come 😳. I came, I overcome fatigue 😀

My experience with Washington State University has been deeply disappointing. The administration is disorganized and inefficient. They request extensive personal information but handle it with little respect or care. Their website is poorly maintained, some links even direct applicants to the wrong portal, creating significant headaches and delays. On multiple occasions, I was asked to submit duplicate materials, which only reinforced the sense of disorganization. To make matters worse, I was overcharged for tuition and had to navigate loops to get it resolved. Given the high tuition, the quality of education simply does not justify the expense. The combination of administrative chaos, poor communication, and underwhelming academic value makes it a poor investment of both hard-earned money and time.

First off, I want to start out by saying I am disabled, neurodivergent, part of a minority group, and I have never had issues with any of the staff or faculty because of that. But I have also never harrassed every group that doesn't let me join them. I do not believe I am entitled to whatever I want because of my disabilities or background, and I accept no as an answer. Wait... That's possible? I am writing this part of my review to warn people that his review is PURELY because he is throwing an online tantrum after he has been harassing clubs, fraternities, literally every organization that decides they do not want him a part of their organization. I have been denied jobs because of personal bias at this school but you don't see me slandering the entire school because of a few crappy people. Look McLovin, if you're that butthurt, go to a different school. Not a single person HAS to let you in and the worse you are as a person because of being told no, the less anyone wants to have you in their group! Grow up! Now for my review of this school. I honestly love this place. This has been my home after my life was physically threatened by my stepfather and my family being too scared of him to defend me. I have found light in my life after starting here, I found community, I found home. I have lived in the dorms for almost 2 years now and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am very involved in resident and campus life and plan on staying that way the remainder of my time here. The only thing I urge the school to consider is to really investigate who is teaching their students. There are a lot of professors here who have very high fail rates but are allowed to continue teaching because of research and/or tenure. Those professors are teaching 100 level classes and honestly seem to want to set the students, who are predominantly freshmen who haven't learned the college work life yet, for failure. The point of university is to succeed through the teaching of professors along with your own work, yet a lot of them don't care to teach in a way that allows students to actually learn. Students should not be forced to rely on youtube tutorials or similar in order to understand basic, predegree material, otherwise, why even have professors teaching the class?

Washington State University didn’t just fail me — they are actively failing to protect me. As a disabled, neurodivergent, and marginalized student, I have done everything I was supposed to do. I followed the rules. I reported harm. I sought accommodations. I trusted the systems that WSU promised were in place to protect students like me. But instead of safety, I was met with retaliation. Instead of protection, I was cast aside. And now — in one of the most shameful moves a public university can make — WSU is denying me access to even the online campus, the one space where I could continue my education safely, away from the harm I endured. I live with autism, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and other serious conditions. I have documentation. I have medical records. I have trauma. I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for basic human decency, legal accommodations under the ADA and Title IX, and a chance to keep going — to survive, to finish my degree, to reclaim my life. But instead, Washington State University has created every barrier possible to push me out. • They’ve ignored my documented disabilities. • They’ve denied me access to online courses, even when being on campus puts me in real psychological and emotional danger. • They’ve silenced my Title IX concerns. • They’ve enabled systems of discrimination and ableism that are not only immoral, but illegal. I am not just being forgotten — I am being erased. And if WSU can do this to me, they can do it to countless others. Students who are afraid to speak up. Students with invisible disabilities. Students with trauma. Students who need support — not suspicion, not punishment, not bureaucratic cruelty. WSU markets itself as a place of inclusion, safety, and progress. But behind the glossy brochures and empty PR statements, there’s a darker truth: if you don’t fit their mold, if your needs make them uncomfortable, if you challenge the status quo — you’re expendable. To WSU: This is not just a policy failure. This is a moral failing. A legal failing. A humanitarian failing. You are breaking students, not building them. You are traumatizing students, not teaching them. And every day you deny me access to my education — even online — you prove that your promises mean nothing. To any student reading this who feels unheard, unsafe, unseen: You are not alone. I stand with you. And I will keep standing until we are all protected, all accommodated, and all given the dignity and safety we deserve. Washington State University: do better. Because you’re not just failing — you’re actively harming.

WSU lacks communication, as a first year there was an event called price is right where you would win electronics and more. WSU did not promote this at all and relied on an app that wasn’t promoted. I was told to get an app just for check ins but not to find events. That is really dumb.

Ferdinand's Creamery and their Cougar Gold Cheese are local treasures. We always leave with several hundred dollars worth of cheese when passing through Pullman.

This is more like a lookout point rather than a state park, as there is no visitor center, no washroom, no campgrounds, no picnic area... It's a highest spot, so it has best views for the near and far fields. It's also a good place to see the sunset and sunrise. Due to the bad wild fire smoke during our visit, the air was very smoky, hard to see clearly, but we still took lots beautiful pictures. The wind was very strong, may blow out the tripod and make it hard to hand held a DSLR camera stabely. Strongly recommended.

Wow, what can I say? It looks like a big hill in the middle of the Palouse. That is, until you start driving up. I'm not afraid of heights, but the hairpin turns are kinda interesting, especially if you have to pass another car. If you drive out to "the butte" you might want to bring a lunch and a jacket. The view is awesome. There was a chilly breeze the day I took my trek. Cool enough for a sweat shirt. Be prepared. There is an overlook area to take in the grandeur of the Palouse. And, looks are really deceiving. I thought, well "butte" you don't look so intimidating! Wait till you get to the top! But here's the challenge. There are a lot of inconspicuous pot holes throughout the asphalt road to the top. Drive slow! You definitely don't want a flat tire half-way up or torn off oil pan, in the middle of nowhere. Also, I almost forgot, a park pass is needed.

Beautiful peaceful place. One of my favorites places for sunsets. Unfortunately temporary closed this year.

Me and my cat spent a wonderful afternoon here! I suggest the best timing of arrival should be 6 or a bit later. Then you can wait until 8:30 for the sunset. Sunset is the best ever. So peaceful and picturesque!

Beautiful views of the surroundings. See a 360 degee view of mountains on the horizon and lots of agricultural fields. Great sunsets, too. The road to the top is very rough in spots. Popular Park, the state needs to work on the road to fill in potholes and fix some rough spots.

Be careful on the spiral winding road up and down as it’s a bit narrow and two-way traffic, but the views from the top are worth it. There’s plenty of parking on two levels. There’s some fun and interesting info boards at the top. 360 degree views. Even during the Smokey time when there were fires from crop burns and excessive heat and dry conditions, the views were expansive.

The drive is quite challenging. Just take it slow and steady and you'll have a treat of breathtaking views. Best to visit before November and after March.

“Absolutely Stunning Park – A Must Visit in Spokane!” I can’t say enough good things about Manito Park! The gardens are breathtaking—each one feels like stepping into a different world. The Rose Garden is so vibrant and colorful, the Japanese Garden is incredibly peaceful, and the Duncan Garden looks straight out of Europe with its perfectly designed symmetry. I loved wandering around the walking paths and taking in the beautiful landscaping—everything is so well cared for. The Gaiser Conservatory was also a treat, with unique plants and flowers you don’t see every day. What makes this park extra special is that it’s completely free, making it such a gem for locals and visitors alike. Whether you want to take photos, enjoy a picnic, or just relax and breathe in nature, this is the perfect spot. I’d highly recommend visiting in spring or summer when everything is in full bloom, but honestly, it’s gorgeous year-round. Definitely a 5-star experience! 🌿🌸🌹

Manito Park is pure magic! 😍 Absolutely loved everything — it’s so beautiful, you can’t stop staring at the flowers, trees, and ponds. Total fairytale vibes! The atmosphere is so cozy, like a hug for your soul. The park is perfectly maintained, with spots to chill, snap pics, or just soak in the nature. Amazing for family walks or solo escapes. I’ll be back a million times and recommend it to everyone! Spokane, you nailed it!

An absolutely gorgeous park, lovely enough for a movie set. There is an annual garden, a perennial garden, a conservatory of inside plants that you can look at early in the day when it's open, an Oriental garden that also has limited hours, and a beautiful pond with a nice walking path around it. There are also sports courts, walking trails, and at least one really nice playground.

My first visit to Manito Park was in the Fall of 2004 when my husband and I were newlyweds. After many moves to different states and several years later, life brought us back to where our lives began together in Spokane. We love visiting the many gardens as a family with our sons. My husband and I visited the Rose Garden together a couple years ago in October. The rose blooms were plentiful and spectacular in the middle of October! It was such a peaceful experience. We visited Duncan Gardens on my Birthday in July this year and just recently this past weekend we visited the Japanese Gardens. I find so much joy simply being in nature and there is so much beauty to appreciate in Manito Park. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. I always enjoy seeing people enjoying the park and gardens as well. It’s a great place to be and visit anytime of year! Walking down Manito Boulevard and around the park on the pathways during the Fall with the golden leaves everywhere is amazing! I love it so much and the best part is it’s always free to visit!! Manito Park has always been a beautiful blessing full of joyful memories for my family.

Fantastic park - Spokane is truly lucky to have this place. Multiple gardens to walk through and the care and upkeep effort really shows. Duncan gardens is a grand landscape of flowers, with a conservatory attached. Incredible amount of species inside this building. Rose garden was our favorite- incredible how many different roses can be found here. The Japanese garden was beautiful as well. Hard to believe this is all free- I have paid to enter botanical gardens that don’t come close to this. So many enjoyable walking paths, benches and shade can found throughout the park. There was a cafe as well! Parking could be a problem where you want it- but numerous small lots exist around the park.

Stunning! It feels like what I imagine stepping into a European garden would be like. Perfect place for a photo shoot! It's so grand and colorful and made me feel instantly happy and lighter. I wish I'd gotten an overview pic but I mostly took close ups!

Wow! What an awesome park! There are some great playground areas, a small lake and a very beautiful flower garden. There is also a solarium with tropical and dessert plants. There are walking paths and several parking spaces throughout the park to provide ease of use. There are probably several restroom areas but the one we found was attached to the solarium. I would love to revisit in various seasons.

Riverfront Park is absolutely beautiful — the waterfalls are stunning, and the gondola ride gives you amazing views of the river and city. It’s a perfect spot for walking, relaxing, and taking pictures. The only downside is that there are too many homeless people around, which can make certain areas feel uncomfortable. Other than that, it’s a must-visit for the scenery and attractions.

We hung out at Riverfront Park on a Thursday evening and had an awesome time! Rented some Lime scooters and cruised around as the sun was setting — such a pretty time to be there. The park has great views and a really nice atmosphere. I only had a short time to explore, but it seems like there’s a lot more to do, so I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend stopping by or spending an evening here if you’re in Spokane!

Riverside Park has been great to visit every time we’ve gone. Even though there are people living on the streets downtown, the city has done a really good job keeping the park itself feeling safe and welcoming for visitors and kids — which is so appreciated these days. The park is always clean, beautifully maintained, and full of fun things to do: walking paths, open green spaces, water views, playgrounds, and plenty of spots to explore. It’s lively without feeling crowded, and we’ve consistently had positive experiences here. A wonderful place to spend an afternoon as a family.

The park is a lively and picturesque destination, brimming with a variety of activities, captivating artwork, and meticulously maintained gardens and pathways that showcase breathtaking views of the landscapes and waterfalls. Security is readily available for your peace of mind. However, be aware that parking near the park is limited, with fees starting at $5.

This is a great spot to check out in the middle of the city. Nice easy walking. Lots of stuff to see for everyone of all ages. History about the city. Play ground for kids. Water fountain to cool off by. Large out door cable structure, music venue Old vintage bridges over the amazing, multiple level falls on the river. A must see

Beautiful Park! Thoroughly enjoyed walking through and taking in all the beautiful scenery. Very clean and well maintained. So much to see and do. Fun for kids! Our kids loved the unique playground and red wagon slide. Keep your eye out for yellow bellied marmots on the rocky areas near the river. They are so cute!

Riverfront Park is very cute! Has decent pathways and views! There's access to the river where a few locals fish. A few grass patches where you can set a blanket down and have a picnic or just chill! A couple of landmarks and where the Garbage Goat is also located!

We were spending time in Leavenworth and went an hour and a half Northeast of there to go check out dry falls and it was very impressive! So glad we took the time to do it. 🤘 If we had gone earlier in the day there was a lot more to see so plan ahead and get there as early as possible so you can really take in all the sites

Breath taking place. Went to a lower point of it (Dry Falls Lake) and to the high point (Dry Falls Vista House) where all the beauty can be viewed from above. There are a lot of parks and resorts before getting to the destination, like Parks Lake or Sun Lake resort. There is also a golf corse in that area. Good place for family to spend time at. (Swimming, fishing, playground, hiking). Enjoyed this place with my family.

Simply one of the most stunning examples of the power of natural forces. Seeing this formed in a matter of hours would have been both terrifying and awe-inspiring. The visitors center is in desperate need of a remodel/ restoration but is loaded with information for those who are curious and would like to know about geologic catastrophism. The park ranger we spoke with was VERY knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about this natural wonder. Please don't hesitate to ask the rangers questions, that's why they're there! Please, please stop and experience the Dry Falls for yourself.

It’s absolutely stunning!!! One thing I liked on the way here was the scenic views are all over the place so you can stop and go and take some photos or selfies. the views was amazing and it’s like nonstop.

Incredible! A total geological marvel! Bring your binoculars cuz you're going to want them. Visiting the outer rim is free. You don't need a pass but to go down and into where the falls I guess really would have been. You will need a pass. I believe it's a federal pass also, it's not a state park pass. There's fishing in the area birding hiking kayaking and I believe some camping. The visitor center has a really good view and some great placards explaining the geology and wildlife.

Beautiful area make sure to check out the caves too!!! Perfect place for a picnic or a hike or both!!! Bring kayaks because it is worth a paddle!!!

The wife and I stopped here while enjoying the evening after dinner visiting Richland. Great park with lots of paved access for wheelchairs and mobility devices. Easy to get near the water. Even at night it was mostly well lit. Certainly an interesting dichotomy with the fancy river cruise boat docked at one end and the homeless resources van at the others. The restrooms were ROUGH and smelled like cheap weed but the overall park was clean and well maintained. We even banged around on the little precision garden next to the playground and it was nice. Lots of folks playing pickle ball and volleyball and the courts were well lit. Totally worth a stop and the history of this land is cool too with the connection to the Manhattan project. On a side note it was nice to see a publicly accessible AED in the parking lot with lots of lights directing you to it.

In town for Art in the Park. Parking was NUTS, but the park is huge and awesome with tons of cool toys and things to do. Plus hundreds of vendors. Will be back next year. Awesome job Richland Parks and Rec team!!

It's a king-sized park that runs along the river. On a hot day it's a fun place to swim. Huge shade trees, green grass, squirrels, and a paved walkway that runs throughout the park. Picnic tables, benches, and really fun looking kids Playgrounds - and there's a wading pool too.

Howard Amon Park is a very large and versatile park with so much to offer, especially for families with children. The playground area is expansive—kids could spend hours here exploring and playing, which is always a good sign (and might even mean an early bedtime afterward!). There’s even a small rock climbing wall where little ones can start learning to climb in a safe environment. At the moment, the water pool is under construction and won’t reopen until summer 2026, but there’s still plenty to enjoy. The park also has a nice little beach area along the Columbia River, perfect for fishing if that’s your thing, though I personally wouldn’t recommend swimming there. The grounds are beautiful, with wide grassy spaces, lots of trees (great for hanging up a hammock), and plenty of shaded spots to relax. There are also picnic areas available to rent for gatherings and special occasions. Overall, this is one of the most robust and well-rounded parks I’ve ever visited—perfect for families, events, or just enjoying the outdoors.

I truly enjoyed my time at the park. It was snowing, very cold, deserted, and so beautiful. The world was hushed with snow. The only sounds were the birds chattering on the river. I look forward to seeing the sunrise next time I visit. Do be aware that I spotted a rare venomous tundra squirrel. Don't turn your back to it and show no fear as it can sense such things.

This whole place is beautiful. The wading pool is my son’s absolute favorite. The boat is beautiful. The water is beautiful. The park is nice and clean.

We visited Slidewaters as two adults and one child and paid $85 for all of us. 🏖️ Totally worth it! The water park is compact and easy to navigate — you don’t need to walk far between attractions. 👣 Great for families with kids! You can grab a bite right inside 🍔🍟 — burgers, fries, soda, and even ice cream 🍦. It was pretty busy, but the atmosphere was still fun and enjoyable. 😎 Lots of slides are family-friendly, and many allow you to ride together with your child, which is a big plus! 👨‍👩‍👧💦 Definitely recommend for a summer day in Chelan! 🌞🎉

Clean, fun water slides, sandy volleyball court, and cool wave pool. All different cultures and ages can come to learn to surf or enjoy watching others surf while drinking a cold delightful beverage. Lots of places to lay out your towel for sunbathing and enjoyment. The only thing that bothered me is the price of food. Still worth going to relax and have fun 😊

Is a great place to take the kids. If you are new to the park, is good to know a few things: bring beach towels, is up to you but you can bring little tents since is very common to see family's bringing them and setting it down on the grass. You can rent a cabana but only if you want a private space and don't want to pack anything to sit. Also upstairs there are chairs and lounge chairs with umbrellas that you can sit and relax. Since I went on a not so sunny day it was ok but looks like it could be very sunny upstairs not a problem if you like the sun. The slides are fun, just prepare to walk up the hills, it is for all ages literally, I will come back. Ohhh bring food if you don't want to eat fast food other than that they sell the regular things you can find in places like this, burgers, fries, etc.

We had such an amazing time at Slidewaters in Chelan! I went with friends and it was the perfect spot for a fun, memorable day. The slides were a blast, the water was refreshing, and the whole place had such a positive, summer vibe. Everything was clean, well-kept, and the staff made sure things ran smoothly. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Chelan and want to have a good time with friends or family.

Awesome place! Small area for square footage, but packed tight with tons of slides. All of them are fun in their own way, and range in intensity for all ages. Only warning from my experience is that the intermediate slide #3 almost yeet-ed me off the slide.... left side of my body was out of the tube, but I survived. I didn't actually do that slide again. No running start on it either... but I'm a big guy, so maybe it was an issue of mass x velocity.... but my two kids played hard all day, and refused to leave... but we're passed out once seated in the car. Only picture i got was of the hang out pool that we sat beside.

Great for all ages . Granddaughter was 3 and she could touch the bottom of the lazy river. perfect for little kids and she went down 4 of the small waterslides while I waited at the bottom for her . We had older kids with us too perfect for a family. Bring a soft cooler, hard coolers not allowed . Bring sand toys too there is sand area above to play in for kids or a volleyball. You can bring small tents for shade or to rest in on grass !!! Bought my ticket online got there at 830 to line up before opening no wait YAY!!!

My kids always have a blast. Btw Payton is awesome we had a minor hiccup but she resolved it immediately. The food is AMAZING!

Beautiful park with plenty of activities for all ages! There’s a nice playground for kids and a swimming area with options to rent kayaks and jet skis. Campsites are well-maintained, and the bathrooms (with showers) were clean. While most sites don’t offer much privacy, the lake views and stunning sunsets more than make up for it. We even caught fireworks from the lake — such a fun bonus! We stayed at campsite 85 and really enjoyed our time here.

Such a beautiful, clean lake. The bathroom near our campsite had 4 individual showers and clean bathrooms. Beautiful view of the lake. Be prepared fir lots of boating noise in the summer, and I mean a lot! Campsite had great view of the water and the sunrise.

End of July it's hot weather. Take a cool clear water swim in the lake, paddleboard, jetski, go boating. Get bags of ice or maybe a 2 scoop ice cream cone at the concession/store there. You can camp almost right on the water, near a big grass field, under a shade tree - and there is also group camping. Free showers and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Kids playground, volleyball, and a hiking trail. I saw deer roam the campground while I watched the beautiful sunrise. This is an excellent place to go camping.

This is a nice park with camping and day use areas. There is a grass and tree covered area with picnic tables. At the lake's edge, there are grass or sand areas to set up your spot. They have an enclosed swimming area. There is a small store to make food and sundry products purchases. The bathroom has showers and are very clean.

Overall the campground was decent, but it was very crowded and the sites were packed close together. There’s no grass on the ground—just dirt—so it felt a bit dusty and dirty. On the bright side, the restrooms and showers were available and quite clean, and showers were free. Lake Chelan’s water is crystal clear, perfect for paddle boarding and swimming.

Lovely campground! Beautiful Lake! Rented a boat in town and had a few lovely days with the family. Has a swimming area, playground for kids. Only thing I wish it had more of is beach area. A wonderful place to go!

Great park. Beautiful area to walk and swim, the campsites if your tent camping are awesome..the water side ones are mostly hidden away in the tree canopy, chelan is always beautiful tho..there is a small store where u can rent kayaks and stuff like that, some groceries, but they have food and ice cream and coffee. U won't be disappointed

Lots of in depth interpretation in the displays and the docents are very knowledgeable. Tour happen daily. Spring time is exceptional with a large diversity of flowers and insects. It is quite windy so be prepared for that if you’ll be walking around outside of the visitor center

Super good place to stop by and see wind turbines from close. This place has great scenic views as well. They have guided (and free) tours at 10 am and 2 pm. Staff is very nice and friendly.

It's worth the long winding drive to watch the wind turbines up close. And so much more you can learn in the center. Watch out for rattlesnakes in the area, they are so good at camouflage.

This place was awesome, we happened to be in the area and decided to take the long was home from a concert at the gorge. This was for sure worth the drive, it does seem kind of like a road to no where but very pretty and scenic. We are middle aged and really enjoyed the information and history in the center they have! You get to get up close to the wind turbines and it really puts them into perspective of how big they really are. If your lucky you might even get to watch them climb them. Truly a phenomenal experience and I highly reccomend visiting at least once. The weather was awesome, there were plenty of parking spots, and it was not crowded. We went in the middle of june! It was perfect.

Thank you to Puget Sound Energy for establishing the Wild Horse Renewable Energy Center and making it possible for the public to experience a wind power facility up close. I once tried to visit the Ivanpah Solar Electric facility in California but was met with a rather unfriendly reception. In contrast, Puget Sound Energy not only contributes meaningfully to the production of renewable energy but also shows us that such efforts are truly worthwhile. The visitor center offers a unique and valuable opportunity to educate the next generation about clean energy. While I understand that maintaining a visitor center in such a location must come at a significant cost, I sincerely hope Puget Sound Energy continues this important work. Opportunities to engage directly with wind power technology are rare, and I encourage more people to visit and experience it firsthand.

A very good place to see what is a wind farm like and they even have a blade lying on the ground that you can see at very a close distance. A good place to spend a weekend with a little bit of learning and a little bit of hiking. Despite of the strong wind, it may be hot in a sunny summer afternoon. Please add or remove some clothes before the guided tour begins.

This is my first time to see windmills in so short distance. They are very impressive. And there are some activities for kids to do in the information center.

The market has a fun atmosphere, but it’s primarily geared toward dining rather than shopping. Had we known that in advance, we would have planned our visit differently. While there are a few booths with local products, the focus is clearly on food stalls. If you’re expecting a broader variety of goods or a traditional market vibe, this may fall short. Still, it could be a nice stop if you’re hungry and in the mood to try different local eats.

Amazing combination of permanent restaurants and shops mixed in with temporary craft vendors. All shops are small businesses and independent. Whatever you're looking for, fresh produce, cheese, meat & seafood (seasonal), wine, vinegrettes/olive oils, coffee, craft beer... it's here. Definitely worth the look.

Great selection of stores and farmer's market items. Wine tasting was excellent and the wine slushies were the best! We loved sampling the oils and balsamic vinegars, too.🍷🧀

What a fun market in Wenatchee. Great for families as it’s right on the river and play area. We ate lunch at Huck at Pybus and it was good.

Such a neat place to browse, sadly I wasn't hungry, so so many yummy looking food opportunities!! I'd love to make a special trip to the area to visit again. Make a day trip and shop and eat, you won't regret it! There are little vendors and bigger booths of specialty items and what I saw was reasonably priced. There's a butcher booth (whole shop really) on site too!

This is a great market to go to with good food and wine, and other stuff. Just watch out for the rude yuppies that have no problem plowing into a 92-year-old man as he is being assisted in walking down the main corridor. Regardless of that, I still enjoy going there and it's a great meeting place. Also, don't forget to try Little Red's Espresso located in a silver airstream in the parking lot. Best Latte' in town!

I really enjoyed my too short visit here. So much to look at and fall in love with! A great place to find a unique gift for that hard to please person! The talented artisans here made it so hard to want just one thing! I loved it!

My wife found this place. We enjoyed it. I thought it was worth the $8.00 per person. It was a nice short stop on our trip on the Cascade Loop.

Such an amazing experience! We did our wedding here and Samantha Segaline who runs the place, got all the tables and chairs set up beautifully and a dance floor too with microphones and speakers. It took out all the tedious and stressful work on the day of the wedding and it all came with the package. We were able to do photography months before the wedding for engagement photos and then for our wedding three hours before: they were very accommodating for all our needs. The food delivery ran smoothly as they had an accessible spot for food and for other accessibility needs like grandparents. So beautiful, loved it. Would recommend to anyone: very affordable.

It's a wonderful experience. There is a provision for a wedding celebration in this place . We got the chance to see on wedding celebration when we visit this place. There is a sig sag walk paved with rocky stones and several water ponds in between. There are several viewpoints to enjoy the flowing of Chellan River and far away mountains. Entry is restricted by 8$ . Senior citizens, can you the walking sticks provided .And there is a Compas fixed on the walking stick to track the location.

What a gem. $8 admission per person, free parking. Restrooms onsite. Walking sticks available at no charge. Staff was very friendly. Little stone-carved benches are available to relax and sit in along the paths. What a lovely park! 🙂

Went to a beauty wedding there today, Saturday, August 23 2025 for an incredible couple! It was a stunning place! We even saw 5 Big Horn sheep that added to the joy of the day!

This place is magical! Went with two 11yo kids. We enjoyed looking for the hidden gnomes and fairies, exploring all the hidden gem lookout spots, watching the koi in the ponds. Don't go in a hurry and take the time to explore. An absolute magical experience! We went on a whim and now I'll be telling everyone to make sure it's a stop when they are in the area!

The place is very beautiful. The rooms are nice, but the service can use some more time management . My checkin time was at 3pm . That was not the problem it was that I got their at 7 pm, and my room was not even ready. I was very disappointed. And they could have had better towels. Other than that. The place was a nice place to stay for 3 days. Very peaceful. I enjoyed my time their.

Great price. Location was a 4 as was easy to find and other fast food restaurants nearby, if you wanted to go out. But had good restaurants inside. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. The only cons are that there is not very much if anything to do outside of the casino, and I felt (my opinion) that the buffet is overpriced.

You must show your ID upon entering! This casino is strict and payouts are non existent. Do not plan on winning here. The brunch buffet was expensive, greasy and not very hot. I can't think of anything good about my experience. The music they play is boring elevator music. Their elevator shut too fast, I and my husband both got bruises trying to stop the door! The concert we went to was short and the audience was passive, not much enthusiasm in that crowd. The band was great they deserved more... I personally would not recommend.

I have never seen a casino pay so low. all of their machines are turned way down and no one is hitting anywhere in the entire casino. They are definitely below what the gaming commission would consider legal. They would also get a lot more people gambling if they weren't so tight with their payouts

It took a few days before I could gather my thoughts to write this review after the horrific treatment my family and relatives experienced. The staff was less than hospitable, and that’s the nicest way I can possibly put it. You don’t fly thousands of miles for a family gathering just to have people mistreat you at your first meal. My aunt was denied entry because she didn’t have her ID. You would think that there should be a completely separate entrance and space for non-gamblers. I mean, if you’re exclusively a casino, I get it, but you’re not. You offer other services that have nothing to do with gambling. It was just downright humiliating. I don’t want to have to say that it’s a race issue, but it is. And no, that’s not just based on my aunt being my denied entry. I understand that there isn’t a large Asian demographic in the area, this is 2025, racism doesn’t fly anymore. Can we normalise learning how to talk to people of every race with respect? If that’s not your thing, hospitality is not the field you should be working in. Being rude and dismissive is not acceptable.

The rooms are beautiful. Spa is pretty good, but kinda pricey in comparison to other stand alone spas in the area. Food options are pretty good. The coffee shop has great drink options and amazing ice cream!

We went there tonight for my husbands birthday. My husband and myself ordered the ribeye steak which was $40 each. My brother in law ordered the prime rib. We have never had worse food ever! The quality of the meat was bad, but so was the chef. Our potato’s were cold the so were the vegetables. We will never eat there again😡🤓
