This is a hidden gem! Great park rangers, great scenery, even electricity at some of the tent sites! This is comparable to Lake Murray but smaller. Recommended!
Randy W — Google review
The lake is pleasant, the RV sites are nice. But the cabins were NOT clean. We rented 2 and they were covered in cobwebs and dust. Floors were not cleaned, cigarettes all over the floor. We rented a shelter for Saturday but had to go get the ranger because there were people camping there. You might want to check it all out before planning a family event.
Myra M — Google review
Hidden gem. Not a rec lake for big boats, but a perfect camp n fish getaway. Well taken care of. Excellent rv spots, tent camping, and nice cabins.
Joseph P — Google review
This was a great place to relax and enjoy nature. It is well maintained and clean. The park rangers we very friendly and accommodating. The view was so beautiful as the leaves were changing during our stay.
Linda M — Google review
Love how peaceful it is at the lake, not crowded like most lakes. Not a big lake but perfect for kayaking!
Joe W — Google review
We had a great weekend. Campsite 18 which is across street from lake. Great view. Verizon wireless had 3 bars but could not deliver 1 meg bandwidth. ATT was better friendly staff. Very helpful. Don't bother hauling firewood. Talk to park staff they sell wood. Do this to prevent spread of wood destroying insects.
Daniel C — Google review
Nice place to come to and enjoy the family with, we stayed in one of the cabins and I must say that it was fun. The park is clean, had a swim area. The fishing was rough only caught three small fish, but saw big fish jumping all over. I will definitely be back to the park in the future.
Mr. A — Google review
Sigh, finally a park left CLEAN and pristine by its followers. It's a remote beautiful gem that sums up the majesty of southern Oklahoma in a few square miles. Go here and get lost in nature!

Red River Valley Veterans Memorial Museum

Veterans organization
Sights & Landmarks
Monuments & Statues
Finishing up a long road trip and having seen Veteran's Memorials both good and bad. This one ranks as one of the best I have seen across the country. It covers quite a bit of our history and service members and the only one I've seen that recognized Gold Families. Well done, with nice displays and a lot of plaques and memorials. The memorial outside sums it up best: "May it remind us that our country must always be defended against forces that would deny us our freedom."
Jeff S — Google review
Patriotic & appreciative. That’s how I felt after leaving this memorial. Reading the many list of names of those who served who lived in Paris & nearby was neat. So many local folks served, especially for WW2. Interesting how little served after 2001. Or maybe it’s not updated?
Marie — Google review
Never better than a 4 until they take the donors' names and board member's names out. This isn't about them! (And the people that do the grass, I will not even say the name because it shouldn't be in there either. ) As a Vet of the Marines and Army, I truly enjoy seeing places like this. It's a nice little spot here in Paris, Texas. Free to walk in and look around. Stop by and see it if you are in the area and the Paris, Texas Eiffel Tower. Mich smaller than the real number. Lol Cheers No, Freedom isn't free!
Mr X — Google review
Beautiful memorial. I am so glad we stumbled across it and highly recommend visiting on your way through
Amanda E — Google review
this beautiful memorial site has innumerable plaques honoring the fallen veterans of red river, definitely worth a trip if you're interested in local history, are a tourist, or want to pay your respects
Kailey G — Google review
Amazing memorial! Its big and well put together for remembering soldiers from all the various wars. Open 24hrs
Jimmy M — Google review
Very well maintained and attention to the drills in the landscaping. Was a very humbling experience.
MATTHEW T — Google review
This is the most well established memorial I have seen. The gates are almost like walking into hero heaven. The information is vast and there are so many names on bricks and stone, it makes you appreciate all the brave heroes that fought for this country. It looks like it is still growing, maybe another display to be in the back. It was a great way to spend a pre-Independence Day.

Eiffel Tower Paris Texas

Sights & Landmarks
Monuments & Statues
This American version of the famous Paris landmark stands at 65 ft., topped by a cowboy hat.
Everyone should visit this place and read everything. It's a beautiful and emotional memorial. The Paris Texas Eiffel Tower with the Cowboy Hat is awesome, too. There is no wait, and you do not have to pay to go in, but they do have a box where you can donate.
Ashley R — Google review
We passed by town of Paris on our way to broken bow. What a Sweet little town and effile tower with cowboy hat on the top. Perfect Texas effile tower. We loved the veterans museum near by. Must visit.
H D — Google review
Fun little cheesy tourist spot to stop by for a quick photo op. We Texans enjoy being silly from time to time and the Tower does a truly fantastic job of displaying this. There are other true gems to check out while stopping to snap your Pic. The Veterans Memorial next to it is one of the best I've visited and well worth your solemn time. Just on the other side of the parking lot is one of the entrances to the Trail du Paris and I encourage you to enjoy at least a short walk along it - it is very well maintained and not something you will find in many places.
Tim V — Google review
Great little side-of-the-road attraction to take a picture next to. Also on the same grounds was a military memorial that recognized all of the military branches. Really great memorial that also had a couple of tanks and a Cobra helicopter on display. You could spend an hour or so there if you wanted to look and read all the plaques/stones.
Brent D — Google review
Great little stop, next to an awesome war memorial. The Eiffel Tower is pretty cool. As I was leaving, three people were taking my picture underneath it so it must be popular!
Beth C — Google review
My sister and I road tripped to AZ from FL, and we took a long route to see extra sites, including Eiffel Tower, Paris, TX. It was underwhelming but also an experience worth the visit! I wish there were souvenir shops that we could’ve bought a souvenir, but none! We did go into town to eat and have a Sundae in Paris, that was cute. We had to drive a lil out of the way to find a shop I could buy a souvenir from.
Stacy M — Google review
Since Paris is so East, many dont know there's a lot of charm in this town. Its the perfect distance away from the cities. This picture was taken after attending an members only event. It's the perfect picture to remind myself I can have a Lil vacation but remain in Texas! 😁🤠
Jennifer C — Google review
Visited on 11.20.2025. Unique Roadside Attraction with a Texas spin on the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. It is definitely worth the photo opportunity.

Endangered Ark Foundation

Mentioned on
1 list
Zoo
Nature & Parks
Nature & Wildlife Areas
The Endangered Ark Foundation offers a unique experience to interact with retired circus elephants. Visitors can feed, love on, and take pictures with the elephants after an educational presentation. The foundation also provides covered wagon rides for feeding the elephants and has a gift shop offering elephant-themed items. Additionally, there are cabins available for overnight stays at varying prices. Accessible options are provided for those with difficulty walking, making it inclusive for all visitors.
Truly a once in a lifetime experience that I will be forever grateful for attending. We were able to feed, bath and pet the elephants. When discussing with a keeper how my mother, who is passed, had an affection for an elephant at our local zoo growing up named Bunny, he kindly took me to their elephant named Bunny, took down a fence and called her over. I was able to pet her and feed her carrots while my wife took photos. So educational and magnificent to be so close to these massive animals. Thank you again for kindness and for sharing your incredible animals with us.
Jeffery S — Google review
Amazing place! The elephants are so well taken care of and have plenty of acreage to roam! My husband and I visited from Oregon and we don’t go to the Portland zoo anymore because of how miserable the animals seem in small cages with barely any room to move around. This was extremely refreshing and a great experience! A little on the spendy side but 100% of it goes to feeding and care of the elephants. Tour guide was great too!
Virginia — Google review
Such a cool experience with my daughter. She loved it. I got some cool pics of the elephants and learned so much.
J B — Google review
Came to the pumpkin patch on a Sunday. It was fun, definitely chill family friendly vibe. Elephant tour came with general admission. Other activities needed additional tickets
RoSean G — Google review
Excellent place to visit, all proceeds go to cause. Very nice tour. You learn about elephants 🐘 get up close, feed them, touch. Most educational. They had a pumpkin festival as well. 😃
Nose2wind — Google review
The experience is definitely lacking something but can't put my finger on it other than the lack of passion for the animals. The workers are all kind and go through the motions wonderfully to provide a decent experience for visitors but for whatever reason it left a weird feeling in me when we left. We were very rushed through with only a brief minute, maybe two, with the elephants. Hand them a carrot then next, next, next... was way too impersonal for both guests and elephants. There was a brief introduction to elephants with a demonstration of foot care and basic tricks then a trailer ride through the grounds to a spot in the back where we each got to feed them one carrot then back on the trailer and the $50 tour was over. Wouldn't do again and wouldn't necessarily recommend.
Cindy P — Google review
We got to hang out w/happy elephants today and it was AMAZING! Such a cool place 🐘🐘🐘
Lea A — Google review
We had a great time. My daughter loved getting to interact with the elephants. We went during an open house and it was very affordable. I paid ahead of time for most things but I still paid more when I got there because I couldn’t resist giving her more experiences with the elephants. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Mt Olivet Cemetery

Sights & Landmarks
Really nice to see. Was very lucky to have met a older couple while we where looking at Freckles Brown grave site. He was on the circuit with him and spent time with him. He made the experience great. Everyone has a story and we where lucky hear some of his!
Jeremy D — Google review
Came to visit Lane last weekend. I'm a big fan of the movie 8 sec.
James — Google review
I recently visited Mt Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma, and I was amazed by the unique section dedicated to former circus members. This was a very special place and I felt a sense of peace and reverence as soon as I arrived. The grounds were well-maintained and there were plenty of benches for visitors to sit and reflect. I highly recommend visiting this incredible place and paying respects to the former circus members who are buried there.
Andrew P — Google review
If your local cemetery doesn't have guard elephants...i don't know what to tell you 😉
Joseph P — Google review
Beautiful, well kept setting that was perfect for learning about and celebrating a lifestyle different than our own. Many tokens of affection left at even the oldest of headstones show that there is so much love that went into Showmans Rest.We will definitely be revisiting this amazing place of rest again soon.
Twizted G — Google review
I know it sounds kind of creepy to rate a cemetery. However The Mount Olivet Cemetery is a most unusual experience. Not only the fact of a very well kept grounds with lots of shaded areas, It is the resting place for many Circus Performers and workers. It is called the Showman's Rest. There the tombstones are large and unique with etching and photos memorializing the person and families.
Harold P — Google review
The entire cemetery is well kept and easy to navigate. Showman’s Rest is fascinating and their creativity still appears in the stones and engravings. Far more interesting than I thought it would be.
Brenda L — Google review
Really? A cemetery on a list of must-see places? Yep. Even if you just see the "Showmen's Rest" part, for circus folks, this is worth a stop. The graves are ornate, and in such a lovely, peaceful setting, it's no wonder that people are dying to get in!

Clayton Lake State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
500-acre park in the Kiamichi Mountains devoted to fishing, boating, forest hiking & camping.
Great little lake for quite camping, fishing, or exploring the local area. It is an older state campground, so fewer amenities and a little tight for larger rigs. Our 32ft class A fit, only issue was low hanging tree limbs. Staff were good folks and knowledgeable.
Rod N — Google review
What a lovely little State Park, perfect for hanging out or fishing. The spillway is really innovative and unique, definitely a must see feature. There's a few cabins and RV spots for overnight stays. The perfect spot for a little getaway in the woods.
Dawn K — Google review
Beautiful little park. Lots of clean RV spots all hook ups except for sewer. Lake is really nice very quiet. Lots of wildlife. Will definitely schedule some time to camp here.
Brian A — Google review
Absolutely beautiful lake! Great staff, bathroom shower wasn't functional when we were there but a good time nonetheless
Jason C — Google review
This place is great for people who like to camp in a hammock, tent or pop up trailer. We took our 26 foot bumper pull and it was a tight fit on the narrow roads. It's not well marked or well lit, but it is quiet. A great place to fish and enjoy the view of wildlife. There were a few cabins up the road from where we stayed and several playgrounds for the kids. There is no dump station in this park, but the folks at Potato Hills Central were kind enough to let us dump there.
April G — Google review
It might have been timing but the dump station was not accessible, the restrooms near the RV sites were quite dingy with no hot water. The actual parking sites back up to a major road and not all have access to water and power unto have a really long hose and or extension cord. It was also tricky getting level. The lake was small but nice with no maintained swimming area. We didn’t feel particularly safe there and the park wasn’t very clean. We stayed one night and found a place that wasn’t as picturesque but had level sites and full hookups. When we asked about the dump station and other things the reply was “welcome to Southeast Oklahoma.”
Eric J — Google review
Great little park ok for one or two nights not much to do, but fish. If you stay in a cabin be prepared to walk across a bridge with water flowing over it to get most anywhere in the park or the other side. Cabins were ok need to be cleaned better the AC has mold on the inside and filter really need to be cleaned. They have a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. If there is more than 1 person bring extra chair to set at table inside. No picnic table close to cabin.
Katie G — Google review
It’s very nice camping and picnic area. Very clean and beautiful nature. We really enjoyed our stopping visit to see lake.

Very clean park. Very clean restrooms. Friendly staff in office. Other visitors were courteous and not loud. A relaxing time. Decent shore fishing. The bunk beds in the cabins are twin size. Bring some blankets to make them soft. The window unit a/c and heaters work very well. A good experience. Great trails to walk.
Alex V — Google review
We stayed in Post Oak campsites. The campsites were well maintained, but comfort stations could use a little work. We were surprised at the lack of quality of the showers and no hand soap at the sinks after staying at other state parks. Very nice trails and beautiful views of the lake. Dog friendly. Very friendly staff in the office and when encountering them around the park. We would return to this park to camp again.
Rayanna R — Google review
Loved our stay. Camp Sites are beautiful, level in Buster. Loved the lake and you are able to ride bikes. The best hiking though is 25 minutes away at the natural area. It's fewer miles but you travel slow on the backrooms to it. It's WELL worth it though. Beautiful scenic trails.
Julie D — Google review
One of the cleanest state parks I’ve stayed at. Beautiful campgrounds and campsites. Staff at the park office was outstanding. Can’t wait to visit again soon.
G J — Google review
1st time and will definitely be back. Very well maintained, clean, quiet and peaceful smaller park. RV sites are flat and treed enough so you have some privacy. Bathrooms clean. Really tremendous terrain and rock formations. We fished off the dock and caught some good sized sunfish ( we catch and release). The office staff are super friendly and helpful. No ice or worms at office but there is a small store just outside the park entrance. A couple of local boys sell firewood from a self serve stand in front of their home about a mile from the gate- $5 for 10 pieces.
Jean — Google review
Nice park ,very well kept with Clean restrooms and ca.mp grounds ,plenty of hiking and trails. Nice forest park Rangers Beautiful Lake too .Always a fun time.
Debra K — Google review
We usually make a weekend out of McGee twice a year. We love this little hidden gem. The water is clean and perfect and the huts are great to get away and they have a fireplace and heat and air unit but no bathroom but they have one a short walk near by. The hiking trail is always fun. Huts are $50 a night also.

Great trails! Be aware!! We (my two small dogs and myself) ran into a pack of about 8-12 wild boar! Eeeek! Lots of rooting in the muddy ground gave us a heads up that they were around. But WOW! Trails were awesome!

This is a hidden gem!!! Delicious, Authentic Italian food! There is a great menu of sandwiches and more. There is every Italian ingredient you could possibly want or need for a recipe. The staff is kind and helpful and polite. When the weather permits you can dine outside. You can even place online orders! I will be doing that soon!
Meridy N — Google review
First time visiting with lots of good finds. We arrived just before closing, so we weren’t able to get a freshly cut sangwich, but it looked good. There were plenty of fresh meats, cheeses and sausages. There were also some Italian cookies that I was excited to see which looked like they were made in house and not imported. We purchased some marinara and pizza sauce in addition to pasta. Looking forward to tasting it!
Nicole W — Google review
This is a neat little family owned Italian market. It’s housed in a quaint old two story building. Inside you’ll find lots of Italian imports as well as house-made sausages, cheese and pasta sauces. The prices are very reasonable and the people working there are friendly. We will definitely stop in again the next time we’re in Krebs, OK.
Jeremy C — Google review
A hidden gem! Tons of specialty oils, spices, breads, noodles, cheeses, meats, and desserts! They will hand-fill cannolis upon request. Travel🗺️, Savor🍱…..Repeat 💌!! Grateful for the Journey, Blessed by the road beneath our feet and the flavors that feed our souls.

We stopped at Lovera’s on the way to Arkansas after reading great reviews online. It didn’t disappoint. This is a destination spot that is worth a visit. Be sure to tell them if it’s your first time and you can sample their homemade cheese and sausage. This is an Italian market but they have a great sandwich counter in the back! The muffuletta is delicious and MORE than enough to share. Be sure to check out some of their unique pastas, sauces, and other items while you’re there too! Beautiful outside area to enjoy lunch as well.
Megan H — Google review
Fabulous old school family owned market. We were camping at Eufaula this weekend and this was one of my wife’s suggestions. Such a neat little store. They had tons and tons of different olive oils, pastas, house made cheese and meats. We had a difficult time picking out which cheese we wanted cause they all looked great. We got a couple of their take home and bake meals. When it says on the package that it feeds 4, it really will. It’s a lot of food. We went back to our camper and made the Chicken Parm meal, and it was great ! I will add a couple photos of the store and of my plate of chicken parm in the camper. Will definitely be back ! Thank yall !
Mike N — Google review
Such a gem in the heart of Krebs Ok. Best brisket sandwiches, delicious fresh deli items like pasta desserts cheese. It’s a fantastic meat market with lots of cool Italian grocery items. You can eat outside. Highly recommend.
HP Y — Google review
best place in town to get a sandwhich. If Monica makes it, best place in the world. I always get a brisket and longhorn. they put peppercorns on it and this delicious BBQ sauce that will knock your socks off. then if you need something quick for dinner? no problem they have you covered at every price range. and then the experience just gets better because you hqve an amazing selection of gourmet cheeses and authentic Italian herbs and pasta. But the best part of this shopping experience is sometimes I feel like I have stepped back into 1946 with the quaint set up. and I can imagine what being in business almost a 100 years ago felt like.

Arrowhead State Park

State park
Nature & Parks
Park
Large state park offering camp sites, picnic shelters, playgrounds, golf courses, trails & stables.
I have been visiting this Park for over 2 decades, overall a nice park when you are around lake Eufaula. They have both RV and primitive camp sites. There is a disc golf course, horse back riding trails, plenty of good fishing and usually decently clean showers and rest rooms. My only suggestion to the park care takers would be to update all the grills and picnic tables, they have seen better days. As a bonus the restaurants around the lake are top notch when it comes to comfort foods.
Randhier R — Google review
We just arrived last night and were very pleased with this park. It’s on Lake Eufaula between McAlester & Eufala, OK. The park Could use some better directional signs. Our reservation was in the Turkey Flats section and the directions were just barely OK. Our site was nice, mowed and attractive.
Judy J — Google review
Alittle outdated in some areas of the park, but some areas look newer, so perhaps they're in the process of updating more. Unique picnic structures and visitor center from a different Era! Plenty of day use, camping and picnic sites with beautiful lake views. Gorgeous overlook, neat trails, and lots of different wildlife. We seen deer, Canadian geese, and a bull snake this trip, but last trip seen we seen more deer, racoons, and what appeared to be a bobcat. There was a ton of trash left behind though, very sad. Including towels, clothing, shoes, dog toys, tennis balls, footballs, volleyball, soda cans, glass beer bottles, and food wrappers. Of course we came on a Tuesday morning so it's possible that the park crews hadn't made it around to each campsite to clean up. We were surprised to see that you have to pay to reserve the day use areas the same as you would campsites. There's some really beautiful sites though and especially the Lakeview ones. There were several spots to cool off in the water. We will definitely come back to stay longer!
Tena C — Google review
Traveling through Oklahoma and needed somewhere to camp. We stumbled upon this beautiful gem and paid less than 20 bucks for a beautiful view of the lake, a nice disc golf course, and a clean shower. The restrooms are what you expect from a camp ground, and kept well maintained. Get a camp map and remember that it’s just a huge circle if you get lost. It’s in bear country, but we didn’t see any signs while we were camping lakeside. Have a good trip
Teenie — Google review
Stayed at Turkey Flat site 2. Easy paved and level sites that are very private and large!! Shade too. Quiet and mowed. Bathrooms clean. The only odd thing is very late ck in of 5 pm and to top it off showers close from 5 pm to 7 am No one around to ask why the weird times. Overall would stay again

Echo Ridge is our favorite place to go within the Arrowhead state park. It used to be terribly busy due to the marina, but much to our surprise the marina is GONE! Very quiet and quaint, all staff we came across were great ( especially parking enforcement), bathrooms are clean as well. We will be back to enjoy another stay.

Had a great experience at the group camp. Cabins are close to all the facilities. The AC in our cabin was amazing (I heard no other groups complain either). There's room for outdoor sports and games, however there was no direct lake access or pool area. The park is beautiful.

I can't say enough good things about this park. I'm always camping though. I will give huge kudos to those who take care of the restrooms because people are nasty and leave horrible messes that they clean daily. THANK YOU!! Don't forget, you have to pay to park for day use, and any extra vehicles at camp sites have to pay to park as well. It is enforced and he comes by several times a day. It's worth it to keep the park clean!!

Honey Springs Battlefield

Historical place museum
Sights & Landmarks
Historical place
War museum
Battlefields
This museum is very nice and informative and we plan to return in the fall for the reenactment and to check out the trails. My one suggestion is to get directions that include hwy 69 in order to stay on paved roads! Our directions took us down 4 miles of dirt road. Other than that we enjoyed the trip!
JoNell H — Google review
First, let me say that I have been to several battlefields. Vicksburg, Chattanooga/ Chickamauga, Pea Ridge, Wilson's Creek, and a couple others that I can't remember. This battlefield is pretty much untouched. I can imagine finding the land like this, as the two sides clashed pretty much in the middle of nowhere. No paved roads, of course. The visitor center is nice and they have a good presentation about the conflict. The people I met were nice, and explained that the place is run by the Oklahoma Historical Society. The area basically shows the places where the confederates were set up and where the Union attacked from. There are walking trails, and Elk Creek is pretty neat. Now for the bad part. The signage sucks. Signs that face the sun are fried. You can't tell anything about them. There is no sign to speak of announcing the visitor center. It's really hard to get a real picture of where the sides clashed. They spoke of chimney mountain, but its just a guess where it is. Places where artillery was need to be fully identified. One good thing is that they have been clearing the underbrush out to the north of the visitor center to give it a more realistic view of how it was when 6,000 men and horses were encamped there. Overall, it is enjoyable, but it could be so much better.
Tom W — Google review
We first passed by this battlefield in January but it was dark and rainy. Today it is bright and hot; we walked around a bit on the battlefield where the Union stopped a Confederate advance.
Jeff S — Google review
The info posted at the site was cool to read. There were trails we didn’t get to walk because it was pretty wet out, but the area looks well maintained. We also arrived after 4pm so we were unable to drive the Honey Springs loop and see what else is out there.

What an amazing little gem in Oklahoma. The museum was great. Very informative with excellent exhibits.
US 1 — Google review
Sadly I could not find the "new" building. I drove all around the neighboring area and could not find it. I did follow the signs which lead to the actual battle field. An old abandoned building was there. I am going to assume that was the "old" museum. Follow google maps if you want to see the battle field. For the museum, I have no idea. Just wishing they would have signs up for the new place. Sadly this shows me how much Oklahoma does not care to have visitors in their state.
Karin H — Google review
The reenactment was fantastic! The actors did a great job during the battle and with answering our plethora of questions afterwards. The announcer that talked the crowd through the battle was very knowledgeable about the local history and the events leading up to the battle. For those who are thinking about attending the re-enactment, the battlefield is on one side of the Main Street and you park across the street in a pasture field. If it has rained recently, it can get kind of muddy. There were vendors set up at the battlefield site that carried goods and food for sale. There were portable toilets available for public use. Across a small Bridge from the battlefield on the same side of the road as the battlefield, the actors had a campsite set up that you could mingle through after the re-enactment. I would recommend getting to the battlefield half an hour beforehand, bringing a chair or blanket to sit on, and bringing hearing protection for anyone who does not like loud noises (children, in particular). The canons are VERY loud.
LivNLa V — Google review
An educational Museum. It’s small but they do care about the area and it’s history. I wish more people visited so they make money to invest in further archeological digs. I’d like for them to use LIDAR and some other forensic work to be able to recreate more educational displays outdoors. Some metal battle soldiers and camp displays would be appreciated. Better signage and directional trail markers are needed. I learned some history I didn’t know.

Choctaw Casino-McAlester

Casino
Casinos & Gambling
Gambling club with slot & table games, live entertainment, TV sports & a grill with karaoke.
I've seen about 20 bands in 4 states in the past 2 years. This was the best concert experience of all of them! Price for tickets was fair, staff was friendly, bag checks were fast and efficient, the auditorium is beautiful and comfortable, no parking issues. We drove almost 6 hours and I would do it again for the right band.
Trish B — Google review
I was at this casino on my birthday with my boyfriend. I was taking pictures of him with my camera (small not professional) and enjoying the neon lights. I was approached by a security guard who told me photos weren’t allowed inside and that's fine. It's private property and they can make whatever rules they want, and I even offered to put it in my car but what happened next was completely unacceptable: he repeatedly insisted that I delete the pictures off my personal camera. I had to tell him multiple times that that wasn't legal for him to do and I will just leave. For the record, even police cannot legally force someone to delete photos without a court order. It's a violation of constitutional rights. A private security guard certainly cannot. This was a clear abuse of authority and showed a complete lack of training or respect for civil rights. If this individual is aspiring to be in law enforcement, I sincerely hope someone intervenes, because someone who thinks they can destroy private property on command should not have a badge. Either way, whether I have to write a one-star or a five-star review, it's a win for me because I get to highlight how hypocritical it is that we have a camera phone in our pocket at all times but suddenly there's hysteria when it's a camera.

OMG, had lots of fun! I didn't win the BIG one, however I had fun!!! I personally like this place, very clean including bathrooms, Bathrooms are big enough for Handicap, I mentioned this because my Husband is Handicapped. This is a big place! Beautiful casino. Didn't see a trashcan out front or as you walked in or an obvious sign not to bring in outside drinks though. Security had to come up to me and let me know. But well done on them for noticing. Shows security is paying attention.

Lake Eufaula State Park

My wife and I camped in Dogwood Campground site 95B. It was a beautiful several days with very comfortable temperatures. I hiked on trail and fished near the nature center. A very relaxing time.

Pretty campsite, some of the showers don't work but it's easy to find out which ones do! Had a fun time camping out here! Saw an armadillo, a kitten, and a raccoon all within 5 minutes of being here!
Andrew K — Google review
The people at the visitors center were so helpful. We were disappointed that the showers closest to our camp site didn't work, but we were easily able to accommodate with showers just a little ways down. The staff at the marina was very polite each time we went. We had a little bit of a time finding a good place to drop the boat due to the high waters but once we were in the water all was good. Our camp site was perfect and the grounds were clean. We loved getting to see all the wildlife while we were camping.
Sue J — Google review
Lake Eufaula was a much needed escape from this Oklahoma heat. We found a small secluded beach close to a restroom, park, and covered pavilion that was perfect for our picnic lunch. It only cost us $5 for the entire car to get in but you can purchase seasonal passes too. There were also rv and camp sites available within walking distance too. We'll definitely return soon.
Laura K — Google review
Beautiful water in distance but Very dirty at this launch point. I don’t feel safe.,dead fish and human biohazard were on both sides of boat launch. I left in a hurry. Also someone tried to hack my phone as I tried to pay for parking. No clear

It was nice, and quiet. The lake was super high from all the rain. I think they said it was 9ft higher than normal... so there really wasn't a beach. But we set up at a table, got in the water, and had a great time.

End of summer lake was pretty mucky. Not sandy as described. Bathrooms were clean and maybe it was just bc it was end of summer idk will try again sometime but I wouldn't recommend going there to swim in August.

Atoka County Museum and Confederate Cemetery

Specialty Museums
We didn't get to see the museum, because it was closed on Sunday. However we did get to see the cemetery and buildings. Very neat historical place to see. Many people dont know about the Oklahomas part in the Civil War.

No wait during the week! Check website or call ahead for museum availability, as they rely on volunteer staff. Museum entry was free, but donations were accepted. Staff on-site were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Grounds were well-kept and there was plenty of parking available during my visit. It’s worth stopping in for a quick visit to learn a little bit about Atoka’s history! School groups & other large group tours may be accommodated! Call ahead to schedule any large tours. This would be a fun visit for anyone traveling through, and a great spot to enjoy lunch outdoors after a tour.

This place is wonderful! 🥰 My doggy and I walked the entire park and my goodness is it beautiful! I took plenty of photos lol so i hope you all enjoy. This park was nice and clean, filled with friendly faces. This is definitely a place for kids as they have at least 2 playgrounds that I can recall. There were designated areas for disc jockey, places to play volleyball, and plenty of lake to go fishing. In fact, I saw a man with his kids net fishing and they caught quite a bit. If you're ever in the area and love scenic walks, check this place out! You won't regret it ☺️ Also, it wasn't necessary for me to use the restrooms during my visit, but I'm certain that they are available. #HappyLiving 🤙🏽

The old snack bar is gone, I believe the bathrooms are still open, the building is a little dilapidated but the lake is lovely, warm and flowing and about knee deep pretty far out, this is free, this is free parking, good fishing, says about campsites on your entrance, but we're not staying the night. I definitely come back here for another swim to get refreshed on a summer day

Our family enjoys nature walks through the woods, grilling, swimming, or playing volleyball. Also a great spot to sit back and fish while the kids play. They have 2 different playgrounds, baseball fields for little League, and rodeo arena. Great walking paths with plenty of nature.

Had a good night camping for free and exploring the park. Almost was decapitated by a disc golfer while I was on a walk but survived long enough to see the cute stray cats wandering about. Had the loveliest nature hike around the boundary trail. Will return even though the road leading to it is absolutely horrid for a motorhome.

Store has a decent selection and did make some purchases. Lady with lighter colored hair was not friendly or helpful with any of my questions. Multiple booths had discounts but when I asked if a booth did discounts on an item she said the store does not give discounts. Also had my tax info on me but not my hard copy and she would not take it even though there was a printer behind her.

If u are going to buy any baseball cards make sure when u check out not to let the man employee touch them with his gorilla fingers, he acts like they are playing cards and they are collectibles little lighter touch please. Besides that it's a huge place with lots of stuff. More of a flea market than an antique store in my opinion but a great way to waste a couple hours if u got it. Happy hunting.

Do not waste your time in this mall. Rude staff, they could care less whether they make a sale or not. Manager is on a power trip and I should have heated warnings from other people not to bother with this place.

We have been going there for the last 8 years It is always clean and well taken care of, the rest rooms and showers are cleaned daily, trash dumpsters and cans are emptied regularly The park personnel are friendly and helpful. There are anywhere from 10 to 38 in our group for the 7 to 14 days we are there. Everyone loves it we usually stay at Hickory Point but all their areas are nice.

One of the better scenic areas. This place has it all. I'm so happy my brother found this place while working in the area. RV sites, good restrooms, fishing, swimming, hiking, history, several lighted boat ramps, wonderful photos. There is a gift shop/store near the scenic overlook. Just be careful because there are no barriers or guard rails. If you take young kiddos or pets be sure to watch their steps closely.

This is the best lake within driving distance from the Tulsa Metro area. Not only the beautiful landscape but the water is much cleaner than that of some of the other Oklahoma lake's. The offer good fishing, swimming, boating and a great team that keeps this place beautiful and awesome even in the dog days of summer. Great job Okmulgee!

Beautiful area. The camp host was friendly and helpful, even bringing us a hammer to get our tent stakes in the ground and driving me up to his spot in his golf cart to get firewood and ice and back to our spot. Swim area has a steep concrete ramp that can get slippery, but we didn't have any problems with our water shoes. $12/night, $5/8 pieces of wood, $3 bag ice.

Great place to camp. It was very peaceful and clean. The restrooms appeared to be cleaned daily which is always great. The staff came by to collect and was very friendly and professional. I stayed at hickory point in the first spot on the left when you pull in and had access right to the water. As you can see in the pictures the rocks along the shore line were a great place to stand and fish from.

Jasmine Moran Children's Museum

Children's museum
Museums
Interactive kids' exhibits include a mini-hospital, a courtroom, an art studio & a climbing maze.
If you’re looking for a fun place that’s close and not too expensive to keep the kids occupied this so definitely the place for you. The kids have endless exhibits to keep them occupied inside and out. The great thing is there is enough to see and do that repeat visits will be just as fun as the first. The best part was the interactive game room they have!
Misty D — Google review
The museum was beautiful and very interesting to see. There are plenty of activities for the children to do and they will definitely stay entertained all day. As a parent I felt like it was a stress free play zone for my toddler. They also have a cafe that provides food and drinks. The store was also available with children's small toys and activities to choose from. Staff was friendly, overall no complaints for the day we visited.

This place is amazing! The kids had an absolute blast. So many fun things to do inside and outside. The inside was multiple sections and each section had unique areas. There was a camping area, Dino dig, Main Street had all kinds of imagination areas (grocery store, nursery, construction zone, auto shop, art zone, etc), a work out area, build a bug, and even more upstairs! Outside has lots of different activities that include animals, like you can read with the dog Maggie and that was a huge hit! Also a sensory garden, couple play sets, and a maze. The train ride was quick but pretty. Our group loved the free STEM activity. This had something for everyone! Our group had kids from one to 13 and they all had a great time here (the parents as well!). We can’t wait to go back!

I have been going to this place for over 16 years!! It has always been the most welcoming play/education place for children!! They have recently done numerous updates and it's become so parent inviting as well!! You can even take your little baby and relax, pump, breastfeed...whatever you need to do. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

What a great place to take your kids and keep them busy for hours and get some education at the same time, I put off for years coming here because I really thought it was just a "museum" but it's so much more!. Highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful museum and the outside part makes it even better! There's lots to do even after a heavy rain. My children were 7 and 8 and the science was lost on them but they were very entertained. I think they absorbed a lot through osmosis. On a Friday once the school busses left, we had the place mostly to ourselves. It was very crowded at 10:30, by comparison.

National Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague

Catholic church

After years of seeing the sign for the "Shrine for Infant Jesus of Prague" when driving from OKC to Tulsa, we finally struck out on a day trip to go visit. I can't describe the beauty of the art work we saw there as well as the overall feeling of serenity walking the grounds. They have a great little gift shop and the people we met there were wonderful. We were also grateful to meet the Parish Priest (wish I got his name) who gave the Rosary and Statue of St. Michael we bought a blessing.  Overall I highly recommend visiting. It's a little over an hour for us but we plan on going back soon to catch Mass. Deus Vult V

The National Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague is such a peaceful and spiritual place. The church is beautiful, filled with a sense of calm and devotion. The grounds are well kept, and the atmosphere makes you feel truly connected in prayer. The staff and community are very welcoming, and it’s a wonderful spot for reflection or attending Mass. Whether you are passing through or looking for a place to deepen your faith, this shrine is worth a visit.

It was so dope! I've seen signs for it for years and finally made the trip to Prague to check it out. The monuments, statues and fountains are beautiful. The little infant statue will surprise you in a variety of places around the premises. We enjoyed walking around outside to see the playground, which is super charming and also inside, where we viewed the church, the gift shop and took in the peacefulness of the area.

+JMJ...Was blessed to visit this place of prayer and serenity twice when I was able to travel from Virginia to Arizona, June and October 2013. Truly a supernatural experience. My traveling buddy of June had visited once before. My own sentiments are that anytime spent in a Catholic Church, particularly, is an opportunity to be enveloped in the transcendental presence of God. God in the Presence of Jesus Christ, the Blessed Sacrament, and in the Word of God, Sacred Scripture. Whether there are people present are not, it is a time for contemplation of eternal life. It can also be an opportunity for those searching for the meaning of their temporal existence to just be in the solitude of the Church building. The Shrine also offers visitors and those who call themselves pilgrims a glimpse into a devotion which stresses the need to acknowledge the childhood of Jesus. The display of the different outfits made for the sacred image of the Child Jesus brought to my mind moments in the life of Jesus during the Liturgical seasons: Red in remembrance of Jesus's Passion; Purple that should stir thoughts of repentance and reparation for offences committed against God (Lent and Advent); White for the thoughts of pure Love and devotion for God and neighbor; Rose for the joy knowing of God's love and mercy. Visiting the Shrine can be a moment of spiritual renewal and an introduction to the supernatural. It is my prayerful hope that others will be drawn to this place of spiritual nourishment. Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art

Museum
Art museum
Arts organization
A wide-ranging collection of art from Egyptian & Greek to Renaissance & Native American works.
Small, But Some World Class Museum Items I still can’t believe I got to see a real mummy! And then real shrunken heads…in Oklahoma! This is a small, but amazing collection. The museum also has a good collection of other Egyptian artifacts. It has a first-class collection of art (paintings, sculpture, and pottery), cultural art and historical artifacts. It is well worth the time and it is free!
Spike S — Google review
We had been here before but this was the first time for the Littles. The price is just right for the size of the museum but the artwork and historical artifacts are truly unique. The Littles enjoyed the wide range of sights to see with one fascinated by the mummy’s and the other ready to skip the area all together so fyi. We look forward to make another trip out here again since they do a rotation of exhibits.

Cool museum. My kids really enjoyed the scavenger hunt while I enjoyed the pottery. It was also great that they had free admission for the summer when we went. They had several great works of art and craftsmanship.

Went on a field trip. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Cool stuff to look at. Friar Geerer actually painted a portrait of Pope Pius X. His eyes follow you wherever you move. Very creepy and cool at the same time.
Susan S — Google review
What a find! So much better than what I was expecting! Truly a fine art museum PLUS an amazingly diverse and eclectic collection of artifacts from Greco Roman pottery, coins, ollas to Egyptian mummies, shrunken heads (and the procedure for doing that!) longnose sawshark nose bone, Pope Pius X, skullcap, other religious artifacts, Dogon and other African tribal masks, indigenous peoples' clothing and tools, Chinese smoking pipes and oh so much more, including lots of oil paintings, some by Gerrer himself and up to mixed media. Could've easily stayed an hour or more to really study the displays but they were about to close. And according to the lady at the front desk, what is on display is merely 4% of Gerrer's collection due to building size and the exhibits are changed out seasonally so definitely go back again and again! Beautiful museum, some of the oldest pieces in Oklahoma. We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the front courtyard was. The employees or volunteers were so friendly and helpful.

I absolutely love this place. I lived in Oklahoma for more than a decade before I found out about it and now I can't wait to go back again. I had originally gone just to see the Egyptian Mummy, I didn't know they had so many wonderful objects to share. I even picked up a souvenir at the gift shop to remember my 1st visit to the museum. A little Egyptian cat figurine.

This is a fantastic museum. Brilliantly curated and laid out, with exciting interactive video exhibits that you view from chairs taken out of vintage cars and beds from old Route 66 motels. We had a great introductory tour from Susan, who made us feel right at home. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice and informative tour at the Route 66 Interpretive Center in Chandler Oklahoma. The museum is housed in the old National Guard Armory, built by the WPA. They have a nice gift shop, some memorabilia and videos. The seating for these videos are really cool, from A-Model Ford seats, Mustang seats, motel mattresses and more.

Thanks Susan. Nice gift shop and Center. My only suggestion: a sign outside of gift shop if you enter from east or west entrance that says Pay admission in gift shop. I will enjoy my magnet and route 66 bell 🔔. The movies need more volume. The interactive centers are cool.

What a neat place! Our tour guides were so friendly, and very knowledgeable. There is so much history in the building, you could spend all day in here watching videos and touching relics. We appreciate the free maps of Oklahoma and Route 66. The gift shop has some very well selected items, and unique souvenirs. Well worth the small fee. Have a bottled soda while you're there, they are cold and delicious, I'm saving my bottle as another souvenir. Highly recommended.

If you love history this place is amazing! Era of the 1930's and during World War 2 and the efforts by the residents of Chandler to save and preserve this amazing historical site. Our tour guide was Dee, she is a walking history book indeed and a big sweetie pie. You have to see this amazing Museum and watch the amazing historical videos they have. There are also refreshments avilable.

The lady working at the museum was so helpful. She gave us a tour of the museum and was very knowledgeable of the history around there. The gift shop was amazing. Lots of route 66 merchandise. I must stop for the route 66 traveler. Museum is beautiful!!!

A very nice blend of short stories via video and historical picture display. When you walk in you are greeted by a very knowledgeable host that gives a history lesson on the building. Nicely done.

Wonderful tour guides. The building is simply beautiful. Glad it was restored. They have antique car seats and beds from old hotels along route 66. At these were video documentaries, short clips. 1 is about 20 mins in the theater seats. Maps and info for route 66 and Oklahoma. Very informational. Plan to be here at least 2 hours if not more if you want to take it all in.

The Grand Casino Hotel and Resort is a luxurious facility that offers a variety of dining options as well as a casino, spa and rooftop pool. The hotel is located in downtown Oklahoma City and is within walking distance of several popular attractions.
We don’t gamble, but stopped/stayed here headed back from CO to AL, mostly due to having excess room in the parking lot for our trailer. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality throughout. The rooms were clean, the beds were cozy, the bathrooms were fantastic. And to top it all off, we ate at the sports bar late last night. They had a 50min wait and were closing in one hour. The sweet hostess let us know we could order to go, and eat on the ‘patio’. Food service was excellent, it was absolutely delicious, and the price was surprisingly low for the amount of food. - All this on a holiday weekend when they were fully booked. 👍🏻

This is a very nice casino. The elevators worked quick. The staff is very outgoing friendly and courteous. The machines are tight but all casinos are these days. The beds are absolutely the most comfortable. The shower was very spacious. The water is nice and hot. Staff graciously brought more coffee and cream up to our room. The snacks are reasonable. This was a very good stay. The players club staff was the best i have seen with customer service. Extremely helpful. Everyone in the casino was very attentive

The service at this hotel and casino was absolutely fantastic. Most everyone at each restaurant and guest services were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and welcomed. I want to give a shout to Jim at guest services/front lobby. He welcomed me each time I was in/out the lobby and helped me move boxes back and forth for my trade show. Also Izayah at the Flame restaurant was so sweet and provided excellent service. All of the casino staff I spoke to were amazing. I would recommend coming to this place to anyone passing through. I look forward to visiting again just for the friendly service. Also the amazing hotel beds! The beds were also very comfortable and rooms were clean!

We didn't stay at the hotel. They have Valet parking here if you wish. We did play slots and found a great mix of old and new to play. We also ate at the restaurant in the casino. The food was great. I only had a burger, but hubs had a Ribeye and he was pleased, as was I.
Peggy F — Google review
Good atmosphere, nice and clean casino but man the last 4 or 5 times I've been I haven't won anything, I mean anything. Is that the casinos fault? Not necessarily but when I can go to many others and at least somewhat win or at least break even then that tells me something. Need to loosen up the slots a little or something. It'll be a while before I'm back again unfortunately.
Nick — Google review
Stayed or tried to stay there 10/19. Had a good time at casino. The room was really nice, the beds and pillows were terrible. Hard as a rock mattress and pillows were the worst I have ever seen very small. We had to have maintenance come up to fix the television. The tub in the bathroom was very nice and relaxing. Wish we could have slept there.
Devin S — Google review
I am so excited that they have a lot of the older slot machines that allow you to play and have good line hits. They also have a nice selection of the newer slot machines for those who like to play them. It's disappointing that so many other casinos have gotten rid of the older games that actually let you play for a while for your money, and have a better chance of winning along the way. Yes, the majority of the older slots don't have the pie in the sky jackpots, but the majority of people rarely ever hit those jackpots. The newer slot machines are so volatile, you can go through all of your money you have for the whole day in about an hour and it's extremely boring. Also enjoy that it is two levels and helps with the cigarette smell, with me being a non-smoker I enjoy having space in better air to breathe. I will definitely be back frequently to play here more, with frequent visits.

Cool little museum for motorbike enthusiasts. Entry is free, but donations are accepted. Gift shop area is a mix of location memorabilia and swap meet type items.

This place is a cool stop. Don't need to be a biker to get it. Neat motorcycles to look at. Not a large place, but packed with cycles. Also other ephemera. Can go through fairly quickly. Also a gift shop, combo of like 66 things and a flea market. Check it out!

For any motorcycle enthusiast, this is a must stop and shouldn't be missed! The collection of motorcycles here is great. It definitely brought back memories of riding as the bikes range from small to big, like growing up with them again. But not only motorcycles, there is vintage signs, racing gear, memorabilia that is all housed in this old gas station location. Don't forget as well, the modern outdoor plumbing bathrooms. Though that old bathroom isn't functional it's still a reminder of the past. The owner is very nice. A great gift shop is available for browsing too. It's also a stop for OK Rt 66 passport.

My wife and I found this gem on a trip through Oklahoma. The outside was nothing special but we were amazed when we walked in. Very friendly guy at counter let us know admission was free but donations were welcome. The bike collection is impressive and includes all types of makes and years. The Triumph and BSA rows were of most interest to me. Lots of vintage toys and memorabilia, as well as new merchandise for sale. We left with shirts and an Elvis decanter. This was the coolest stop on our trip. Check it out if you can!

Thunderbird Casino is a long-lasting establishment providing various table games, slot machines, a lounge, a dining area and live weekend musical performances. The selection of slot machines is impressive while the beverages offered at the bar are affordable. Their grill serves delicious food with one of their specialties being catfish platter. However, whether they payout or not can be unpredictable as sometimes winning big is possible but other times $50 may only last for 10 minutes.
I had a great time at Thunderbird Casino! They’ve got unlimited fountain drinks, ash trays and trash cans everywhere, and a ton of staff around which was nice. A few machines were down, but there were still plenty to pick from. Didn’t walk out a big winner, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. Still had fun and would come back!

We went last year and this year for 4th of July. The fireworks show is one of the best I've seen. The concerts have been great. Great vendors for food and arts and crafts. Definitely going next year. They also have a pow wow the days after. Haven't got to see that, but I'm sure it's pretty good, too. Weather permitting.

Excellent facility. Recently attended a pow-wow in the casino for the beautiful Oklahoma Indian Biker Princess. There is also an additional space connected by a small hallway that served as a vendor room and supper line. Hand sanitizing stations were available at every door. Very clean. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

I only play their free play or pick up the free stuff. A white elderly lady came up and stole my husband's wallet off the machine and got away with $2,500.00. She dropped the wallet off at the players club like she just found it ( right on camera ). Surveillance have her on camera taking the wallet and stealing the money and yet nobody did anything about it. The tribal police were notified, we made a report, but still.... nothing was done about it. We used to spend close to 500 a week in there, we don't anymore.

Amazing park, fantastic Renovations! The views and the fishing and the facilities are clean and tidy and the park upkeep is outstanding. Well... the campground itself seemed in need of some TLC. The road in, and the parking area definitely need some maintenance. Surprisingly, the bathrooms were well kept. The RV spots in the 1st Hickory Hill are are WAAAYYY too close together. We were right on the water, and there was plenty of space to walk our pups.

Beautiful state park near Norman, Oklahoma. Very peaceful setting. Lots of trees for shade, but also lots of mosquitoes. We stayed at Turkey Pass, which is on the south side of lake just off Highway 9. We had nice Verizon cell service there. They definitely need more signage. You don't have to check in, which is nice, but the only way to get a map was to drive around to the visitor center on the north side. Visit Native Spirits Winery when you're there. It was just 8 minutes from our campsite.

Arcadia Round Barn

Sights & Landmarks
The Arcadia Round Barn, a striking red structure built in 1898, is a must-see historic landmark located along Route 66. Its unique round design makes it an ideal spot for memorable photos. Beyond its distinctive architecture, the barn houses a museum featuring exhibits and historical information about Arcadia and its significance to the development of Route 66 and Oklahoma.
Throwback to 1898 on Route 66 — Arcadia, Oklahoma We made a quick stop at the historic Arcadia Round Barn, and it was absolutely worth it. If you're the type who loves to dive into every artifact and display, you could easily spend hours here. But even if you just read the highlights and chat with the volunteers, it's a great 20-minute stop. The barn is beautifully maintained and easy to find, with convenient parking around back. The ground floor feels like a mix between a cozy museum and a vintage shop — I even spotted some rose rocks for sale, which was a fun local touch! The volunteers were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I really enjoyed chatting with them — they clearly love what they do. Outside, the grounds are tidy and feature old farming equipment on display. You can also climb 15 steps to the upper loft area, which is available for rent and sometimes hosts live music events. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Entry is free, but donations are definitely appreciated — well deserved — and very much needed. PROS: ✅ Great roadside stop on Route 66 ✅ Easy to find with back parking ✅ Free entry ✅ Friendly, knowledgeable volunteers ✅ Clean and well maintained ✅ Rich in history and unique charm ✅ Cool loft space available for events ✅️ No wait for entry CONS: ❌ None!
Kimberly D — Google review
Historic round barn on route 66 in Oklahoma. The downstairs is a gift/antique shop. The loft area is amazing, and still has concerts there. The person who created us upon entrance was very knowledgeable about the history of the barn. Worth a stop if in the area. Free to visit.

Beautiful place to visit! We talked with the volunteer and we learned so much about the Round Barn. The loft is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely stop by & check it out!

An amazing, old craftsmanship made, round barn, on historic route 66 that you can visit. The upper floor and ceiling is awesome. The lower floor has more history and photos too. Be sure to visit both. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A fun stop along the route that you shouldn't miss.
BFOOSTERJ — Google review
This is so cool. The ground floor is like a mix of a goodwill shop and museum. Look at the ceiling to see how the barn was constructed. The real thing to see is the upstairs space. It’s a large space and cool frame construction.

Visited on 6.9.2025. Unique and Nostalgic Roadside Attraction in Arcadia, Oklahoma. Jyst a side note.... This would be an Outstanding places to go country dancing or square dancing. It would also be a great place to have a wedding reception.

I enjoyed the history and how well it has been kept up. Not many locations like this that are open to the public. If you have your passport book you can get it stamped. Friendly volunteers to answer questions. Also can't beat the price...give a donation.
Lisa F — Google review
This is a historic attraction along Route 66 in Arcadia. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily. Admission is free and you will find a decent size carpark in the back, just exit 66 a block or two over and make way to the back. There are public toilets available as well. The Barn was originally built in 1898. After decades of neglect, it was fully restored with a reconstructed roof in 1992 and is kept in good condition today. You can visit the upstairs where you will see the wooden deck space for fairly large scale events. It is worth a quick look-see. What is most interesting is the ground floor which is setup like a small museum with historical information about the Round Barn, the early days of Arcadia, Route 66 traveller business that the early 20th-century and related points of interest. There are time period artefacts on display that are nice to see as well as a gift shop area which is manned by volunteers. I really enjoyed my 20 minute stop and visit of the Arcadia Round Barn recently. They are doing really good job breathing and keeping alive this interesting bit of early Oklahoma and Midwest history here.

It's known for its high-speed thrills and exciting attractions, making it a must-visit for adrenaline junkies.
My family from WI came to visit! We had a great day, although it was hot, we had fun. They closed earlier due to weather, but we had a good few hours to enjoy. I enjoyed the roller coasters & some rides took me by surprise. Staff was friendly & the little stores have such nice AC! Definitely helped us cool down from this OK summer heat.

This is not a huge six flags park which for me is nice as I was able to go, spent a few hours and ride what I wanted to. It was a hot day but I enjoyed the coasters, especially Wildcat, and some other rides. They have a nice selection of flat rides, a few water rides and a small water park. This was my first visit and I was surprised how nice it was, the employees were nice and the park had a lot of theming that was a nice addition that many parks are missing. I really had fun and I hope more people will check it out, again don't expect a huge park with 50 rides, that's not what this is, but you don't have to spend all day in line or rush through the park, you can just enjoy it. I sure did.
Sarah P — Google review
Great place! I love it. There isn't too much of a wait most days, and the season pass is totally worth it. The Diamondback is finally up and running again, and the Renegade Rapids would be better if they turned the waterfall back on. Waiting 15-20 minutes and hardly getting wet isn't worth it—hopefully, they fix it soon. Parking isn't too bad, depending on the day. I wish they stayed open later; it really sucks to get off work and only have an hour with the family most weekends. Can’t wait for next year!
Curtis C — Google review
You know this place has such a fun atmosphere, and wasn't to busy for a Saturday. The ride options for kids 45 inches or taller is great. If you have kids under 38 inches just known there are like 4 rides. Food is about $16 drinks are like $5 or they have a cup you can refill for free but it's $20. I loved the western town look and the play houses. Super fun all the coasters are short but a fast adrenaline fun. The raft ride not worthy the wait. Silver bullet is totally worth it.
Sabria G — Google review
We went for a family day through my husbands job. It was the funnest experience we've had. I don't know what the prices usually are but we got in free. Spent 8 hours there riding the rides. Would love to go back someday.
Vanessa P — Google review
The park is a good, small park. Some of attractions and rides were closed, including the Dimond back. You cannot take anything on any rides, which was pretty ridiculous. No sunglasses on simple rides. We couldn't take any items on the river ride and had to come walk all the way to back to the entrance to get our things. You couldn't even take anything on the shooting track ride. The rides themselves felt more like fair rides than an amusement park. Over all, only an okay experience.
MIMI B — Google review
A SixFlags park that hasn’t been branded with their IPs This park is SMALL, I’ve seen bigger Walmart parking lots then the parking lot for SFFC. if you have a season pass and in the area it’s a decent place to stop to get a few ride credits but I wouldn’t recommend traveling more then an hour to the park or buy a day ticket. The entire park has a western theme. There is a quick western show on the main plaza about 15min before rope drop & they have a decent stunt show with the same actors a few times a day. Keep your eyes on the guy with the long red hair to see the best falls. the coasters seem slow in the morning when they 1st start up but have some decent (not great) speed and forces later in the day. Every employee I ran into seemed to be enjoying their time working. Wouldn’t be surprised if SixFlags decided to sell this park to an independent developer instead of keeping it in their lineup of parks.
C. S — Google review
Park is clean and the service is great. Unfortunately with the company's financial challenges, I think owners recently purchased Six Flags, so not all attractions are open all the time. However, I'm glad they are prioritizing safety and cleanliness! We had a 19 and 11-year-old and there was enough for them to have a great time for the afternoon. Make sure you check operating hours because they have limited hours during the week. But if you go weekdays you will have no wait times.

My favorite park in Edmond. What here is not to love? It has a great trail for a leisurely walk or an intense workout-style jog. You'll see lots of furry friends, lots of dogs and dog-owners. A playground for the kiddos. Clean public restroom. Large wooded area. A large pond--home to ducks and geese (beautiful creatures). You'll see people feed the water fowl. I could go on and on. It's where I connect with nature and pray to my Creator. I just love it here!!!

This place generally is a great place. But any public place you never know what/who you will run into. I have probably been here near 100 times, and rarely rarely rarely ran into bad people. But Monday around 3 in the afternoon there was this psycho girl who looked college age but acted grade school age. She started yelling at me because I "stirred up the ducks" (they followed me because I feed them maybe once every 2 weeks or so). She said the geese will "explode" if you feed them too much (You're not supposed to feed them bread, which is why I feed them dried corn kernels) She claimed there were signs "all over" the park saying not to feed the animals (I have never seen SINGLE sign stating this) and after she dropped about 6 very loud "F-bombs" she ended her psycho girl rant by telling me I "deserved to be bitten" (I assume by one of the ducks/geese who seemingly love me and my corn feed). Women...... if it is your time of the month, or if you just escaped the juvenile psych ward, PLEASE go to a public library or an empty classroom (they are all over UCO) and don't go to the PUBLIC park if you want immaculate silence for a study hall. Not a park with tiny children and dogs and the like. This has been a PSA, thanks.

A beautiful park with scenic views and trails, nestled in a busy town. The pond has many turtles and fish, and a temporary home to plenty of migrating wild geese & ducks. The playground is well-maintained for little children. During summer you can enjoy concerts in the park and fireworks display on July 4th. #edmondhighlights

The Queen's Six employed a high quality performance demonstrating serious professionalism and a joy of musical variety. The encore of God Save the King was special and an honor to hear.

This is the most beautiful place I have ever seen! The huge chandeliers look like big diamonds in the sky! The sound of the singing just surrounds you in your chair!

It was an excellent concert. The voices were all high quality. The royal singers each spoke giving us history of each piece and sharing their dry British humour w/ us. Staff great as usual :-)!

From just pulling into park, everything was so organized and the parking attendants were always smiling and friendly. Upon entering the facility, everyone was extremely welcoming, so friendly, and willing to help if you needed it. Now for the show, Celtic Throne. The show was fantastic. The dancers of all ages, the singers, and the musicians were amazing. You can tell they love doing what they and working together. A family of performers. An incredible show of so much talent and hard work. I would come see this show over and over again. I would like to thank every one of them for sharing their gifts for all to see. This is a must see show if anyone has the opportunity to see it. The venue, Armstrong Auditorium, is a beautiful venue with very friendly people running the facility. Thank so much.

Our first time to visit this auditorium, and we were not disappointed! Beautiful facility and the acoustics were great for performances. We saw the Celtic Throne, and the talent of these young adults and kids was amazing. Plenty of informed staff to help with doors, directions, history and parking. Small parking lots but the staff moved traffic in and out safely and quickly.
