A beautiful park with a nice size playground right next to the beach. We were able to find free parking really close to the park. Restrooms are close by as well. We ate lunch on one of several picnic tables. My children were very excited to see a bunny rabbit the morning that we visited.

There is an overlook area. Beautiful beach, lifeguard present. Play area, water to clean off before leaving and restrooms/changing area. Pavilion area. Not very crowded especially on weekdays. Amazing relaxing area ❤️

While visiting friends in FL, we planned a beach day, and this is their favorite location. And if you're in the area after beach time, stop at elsids Taco's place down the road. Delicious! We got to the beach about 930ish am and set up. A large pop-up canopy gave a nice chunk of shade for beach chairs while not in the water and for personal items and cooler. There was a perfect light breeze. Though if you're gonna walk in the sand, bring beach shoes of some kind, the sand got HOT. A bucket list item...swim in the ocean Check... A bucket list item I didn't know I had... Get stung by a jellyfish. Check. The water was cool and a perfect refresh in the sun and heat of the day. With a perfect breeze. It was a ridden gem along the shoreline. We will definitely return!

What a beautiful Park. We came here for our 5th anniversary. To watch the sunrise. That morning they also had a delightful little farmers market going on. You can't beat it.

Love visiting the beach. Does not get crowded. They have bathrooms and places to eat close by.

Beautiful place if you want to see a full moon and walk the beach and get the full experience, it’s gorgeous

Very nice beach. It has suffered from erosion so it’s not very deep, but it is peaceful and beautiful. It has a lifeguard on location and bathrooms available. My favorite feature is the covered porch with benches facing the beach. It enabled me to stay in the shade and still enjoy the beach.

Nice place for a little walk. We saw a couple manatees, some forested areas, some mangroves, climbed an observation tower to view inter coastal waters. Beautiful spot that I’ll visit again.

Simply breathtaking! The mosquitoes will get you ! So wear long sleeve even in the morning and heat 🥵 but absolutely amazing

Great place to walk an or kayak. This is Wonderful spot for family's to see manatees an other Florida wildlife! Huge lookout tower! Quick tip ... During the summers months wear bug spray before you get off the bridge to start the trail. 🦟🦟🦟🦟

Best spot to see see manayees, dolphins and baby dolphins. Quiet clean and guaranteed to have a good time. I've seen manatees 95 % the time. Best nature preserve or wildlife trail in Indian River county

Love, love, love this beach!! ❤ Very quiet, peaceful Beach. Not a tourist spot as it is far enough away from anything that would attract tourists. A family trip just looks like an old fashioned Beach that you remember from your childhood. You see the occasional fisherman, or just the person who likes to relax in their chair and read a book listening to the ocean's waves crashing on shore. There is a lifeguard on duty in case you decide to dip your toes into the water. The beach is lined with private residences far enough back that you don't even notice them too much behind the natural vegetation. Again, this is not a tourist location. You would need to bring all of your own supplies as there is nothing around this area for food or beverages.

Beautiful day. Very quiet and had the beach to ourselves. Lots of pretty things to look at. Easy access to the beach. Plenty of parking available. Also, has picnic spots available.

Excellent show of history dedicated to those who served. Stories told you probably didn't even know about, tons of cool artillery and history you get to experience unlike other museums that we've been to. My personal favorite was the boats they had outside on display and some of the weapons they had inside of the building. If you are in the area or if you have an interest in this stuff I highly recommend giving this place a check out to see some truly incredible things.

Had a great day visiting this amazing museum. I went with two marines brothers and the site is great. Be prepared for a long visit, at least if you like to check every exhibit and read the whole history about, due they share all the data and items are plenty. The store I believe it could have more stuff but stills fine. 💯 % recommendable

A lovely visit to this museum right next to the beach by the way a huge plus…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ the outdoor exhibits are free to wander, able to enter the huge ship was a nice touch - I did enjoy taking pictures from the height of the ship, they had educational videos about war & the ship’s history. The outdoor was a nice walk & it had an obstacle course for the kids. The inside was $16/but they offered military discounts. All items have been donated and actually used somehow in someway so that was interesting. Well maintained but did spend more time outside than inside. A day out visit was worth it!!!

Love the interactive displays. Great history sections like a real natural museum. Memories of the O course was something. Great memorial plaque wall. And all the challenge coins I ever heard of

Don’t let the size fool you this place is packed with awesome history! Carve out about 2-3hrs there is a lot to see and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Phenomenal museum show casing the sacrifices we “entitled” Americans take for granted to live free, love this place and makes me proud to be a Floridian!

It is a very interesting place that I could spend a lot of time reading and learning about Navy Seal as there're so many exhibits and historical artifacts. There're nice and clean restrooms inside and also a gift shop.

Excellent setup for different eras of the Seals in action, did close early for the veterans memorial next door in the park.

State Park pass holder so no fee for me but I took a photo of the current cost for non-pass holders. Beautiful state park. Inlet access. Ocean access. Separate parking for each. Baskets to help pick up things left behind. Park was clean. Rangers were present. A couple walking the beach areas and saw one cleaning up trash. They stay on top of their duties. One of the trails was a. It over grown. Bathrooms, picnic tables, grills, pavilions, beach showers, parking seemed plentiful. Lovely turtle sculptures at the entrance and also love the canoe with plants.

First visit to this state park and our whole family loved it! We have 5 kids and they loved the beach. It was very child friendly. It was only $6 to get in. There were bathrooms, some outdoor grills and a very nice beach area. Not too crowded. We went to the inlet side but we were told there are also ocean side beaches. Absolutely beautiful clear water and lovely scenery! Will be back again and again!

We went here twice on our trip to Fort Pierce. There's a $6 entrance fee and access to all the beach you can imagine. Unfortunately, we were there on a yellow and then a red flag day but we went wading in the inlet where it felt safer on the yellow flag day only. We otherwise walked along the beach, hung out under our umbrella and had some lunch. It was fun to watch the larger speed boats pass by as well. We also found lots of shells to add to our collection as well. Along the short walk from the parking lot to the beach, we also saw some turtles. The white sand is beautiful as well. Everything seemed so clean. FYI there are no dogs allowed at this beach and we saw the park ranger ask somebody with a dog to leave. There are restrooms that are okay on being clean.

Accessible beach for children with special needs. We had a wonderful experience. Morgan was very kind and got us a special beach wheelchair so we could easily bring our daughter with a disability down to the beach. It made all the difference! We’re very grateful for the thoughtful service and accessibility.

A great spot to anchor. Very convenient anchorage. The only downside is the locals who think that the water is theirs and they harass you with their speed boats especially in NO WAKE Zones!!!

The state park was mostly empty. It cost me $4 to get in as a solo occupant. It was a beautiful beach. I like that they provide baskets to pick up trash on the beach. There are a lot of parking spaces. The only annoying thing is all the construction from the new bride being built creating traffic.

The ocean proximity is wonderful, watching the cruise lines sail away on the pier was definitely a perk. Our rustic campsite was NOT shaded (Lot 26), so we were baking in our tent by 8am. Definitely will choose another lot next time. The ones with power hookup are well shaded, go figure. WARNING: Wear Bug Repellant at EVERY moment. I have over 200 bug bites. I used the citronella wrist and ankle brackets and candles. It wasn’t enough.

We've been coming here for at least 20 years. It has changed quite a bit, especially after the hurricanes in 2005. It looks a lot neater without all the plaques, but each one of them had a story to tell about a lost loved one. The parking is now so much larger than it used to be. There are more benches, and the bathrooms are usually pretty clean. It's a lovely place to come, and if you get hungry or thirsty, there are loads of places(some within walking distance) to fill your need. There are great views of the inlet, the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park, boats, birds, open waters, and beautiful city skyline(looking South). Plenty of room for fishing, setting up lawn chairs, walking, photo ops. We used to come here to catch the sunrise when we lived on south beach years ago, and once in awhile we'd see some manatees. Jetty Park is a special place for our family..million of memories here!

Depending on the time of year, the water can be really beautiful or really gross.But I see more sea life when the water looks gross lol.

Great place to watch the sunset. You may not want to hang out near the water after sunset, lots of rata/mice hanging around the rocks.

Casual walk along the jetty meeting interesting people fishing, walking their dogs, sunning, jogging or relaxing.

The jetty itself gives some beautiful views of the area. Looked like the fishing was good, too.

Awesome fishing spot with many areas to fish in the ocean and in brackish water and you can choose from very calm areas or those with a lot of current. The video shows a spaceX launch i witnessed from there.

Loved that this place had knowledgeable guides who educated about each exhibit. Small and enjoyable location.

This has always been one of my kids, favorite places to visit. I was blessed with the opportunity to watch one of our workers’s daughter so I brought her to the exhibit and she absolutely loved it. It’s a perfect place to visit when it’s so hot outside but actually it’s a perfect place to visit anytime of the year.

Small but well done. I took my nieces and nephew there(ages 6, 9, and 14) and we all had a great time. Dana went above and beyond to make our experience fun and answer all of our questions

If you're wanting a massive aquarium to go spend all day inside of, this isn't that kind of aquarium. BUT...it's a great value for the money, especially compared to most aquariums you could visit. It's great for taking smaller kids to, because there's plenty to see, plenty to learn, but by the time they start getting irritable- boom, it's over. Well worth the money. I would give it 5 stars on value, only dig on it is that it is small.

Just get a season pass it’s totally worth it, if you’re local. Every visit has been different for me each time, lots of learning. Great for kids K+, a good place to volunteer. Would like to see more family events.

This is a great little aquarium for the family. Tickets are very reasonable priced and although It's not incredibly large, you could easily spend a few hours checking out all the under sea life and learn something new.

Small center to help preserve the manatees. $3 entree fee, a few exhibits, inlet access beside and attached to it with a 2nd story viewing tower. Small aquariums with live fish and plants. Entry free gift shop also. Great prices on tourist coffee mugs and many other items.

Such a cute little center. Sadly, the Manatees weren’t present because of the cold weather. The staff was excellent and engaging. Fun exhibits inside and lots of viewing space outside. Admission is minimal so round up for a little extra donation. It has beautiful outdoor space and even when the Manatees aren’t there, there’s still wildlife around to enjoy.

Although we didnt see any manatees, we still enjoyed ourselves immensely. People were very knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful view of the marina.

Went to see some manatees but unfortunately there were none, we went inside the little aquarium area which was cute for kids. Nice views around the building of the water. The gift shop has some really adorable items!

It's a wonderful place handicap accessible. It is especially for small children. And when the weather is nice and the waves are not as choppy, you can see the manatees outside. They even brought out a snake. They are very polite, they will ask If the person is afraid or not to bring the animals to you. There are books that you can read to the little ones at a nice clean table. So there are things to occupy some time And lots of information.

The center is very, very small but offers a large amount of information on manatees. There's several small aquariums and a terrarium with a resident snake, children's activities and books, a butterfly garden, a really nice gift shop, and observation deck with an excellent view of the docks and waterway. It cost $3 to get in.

Unique (atypical) takes on tapas from the very passionate Sullivan University Culinary School (Louisville) graduate, Chef Jiggs, who has been helming the 12-year-old bistro serving pan-European style and locally sourced small plates for the last five months. One dish had to be remade because the line cook instead of the exec chef sent it out (gambas), and it didn’t represent what he wanted. Otherwise, the food was excellent. Highly recommended intimate restaurant.

Chef Jiggs always has one of his chef specials that you just can't get anywhere else. The staff is great, service is awesome, and the food is out of this world. Great waterfront place to spend a couple hours for some food & drinks. Live music most nights, and a dog friendly patio. On the corner of Orange Ave and Melody Ln, downtown Ft. Pierce.

We had Street Corn, Mushrooms and Octopus tapas style. We also had the Salmon entre. I never had salmon that melted in your mouth until tonight. Everything was amazing including the special dessert the chef Angela prepared for us. Smores! How cool. I never had them before. The Chef actually came out of the kitchen and greeted everyone in the restaurant. We felt like we knew her for years. This restaurant is a "DO not miss"!

Really good food! Scallops are huge and delicious! Portions are on the small side, but the taste is awesome! We started with the diver scallops, the rock shrimp, and the olive tray. Then we finished with the goat cheese flat bread (bacon on only half). Everything was delicious. The seating inside was strange, with chairs and a half couch that seemed to be from Ross. Not very comfy, minus one star. Outside seating is a available, too. Recommended!

The meat was tender and juicy, and properly seasoned. This was paired with grilled asparagus replete with garlic and cheese, lightly charred with diced fresh garlic. His consumption speed spoke volumes on the flavor and quality of these creations.🥩 My orange-fennel salad's bright, mildly tangy essence rounded out with crisp pine nuts was the epitome of "gourmet-healthy." 🥗🍊 But, then the decadently rich, creamy "Naranja Ángela" appeared. 🤩 Her interpretation of a traditional Spanish favorite, this rice pudding is infused with sweet orange zest and fresh, strained orange juice, crowned with a caramelized crust rivaling a fine crème brûlée, melts in your mouth (and hopefully back off my hips at the gym!). Outrageous prices for Tapas that are known for small portions at a small price…! I ordered Octopus to go for… $25.00… because they explained “it is to be shared”… so I thought it was an Entree for two at that price… haha! The photo of the plate talks by itself (size of my hand :) Inside the box, octopus was mixed with potatoes cut at the same size to give the illusion that it was all octopus…! In a very acid sauce, and 4 pieces of bread put above the warm octopus that became wet of course… They brought another box instead of changing my bread… See the pics. And if you don’t want a rip off… DO NOT order anything above $20.00: they have no idea of food pricing Regarding the Menu prices: look my picture of the menu dated: Nov 15, 2022. The other menus are outdated and most do not have the food mentioned…. They probably charge because of the band and music… and instead of charging a supplement for this entertainment, they charge you a “To Go” food at the same price… Just go to to Spain if you want Tapas…!!!

My bookclub meets at 121 Tapas often. The food is really good, the wine selection is even better and the service is ALWAYS good. The one little thing is that yes, the plates are small and pricey for what they are. However, this is ok for when you want to splurge a little on good wine and great company in a charming setting on the water. Best wishes!

Never in my life have I had such an exceptionally amazing meal. There is no contest that the food we had here was unequivocally the best I've ever consumed; utterly unparalleled. The appetizer of Scallops with caviar on top and a truffle slice was the best version of scallop preparation I've ever had. It started the meal off with a high bar that only continued to get better. I enjoyed an entrée of Coconut Crusted Hogfish in a Cashew Curry sauce that was beyond any ability to express how delectable it was. Every single bite was worth raving about; my taste buds never got used to how outrageously excellent the flavor was. Never before have I been so amazed at the flavors of each and every mouth-watering bite! My husband had the Roasted Maple Leaf Duck which he said was the best duck he's ever had. This was a better anniversary dinner than I could have fathomed (never before have we spoken so little out to eat because it did was so delicious). I cannot rave about this place enough and I look forward to the opportunity to return again for more!!

Frank took excellent care of us throughout the evening! He was professional and friendly! We are locals since 2014 and this was our first time dining here! Absolutely loved it! Beca took our reservation over the phone. So sweet and friendly. Michelle was our greeter when we arrived she was friendly and attentive to us. We had perused the menu prior to our arrival and enjoyed each course. I began with a delightful glass f Sancerre French Sauvignon Blanc, we then shared Oysters Rockafeder, a bowl of crab & shrimp tortilla soup, apple walnut salad, crab cakes is what my husband ordered and I enjoyed the coconut Crusted Hoggish! Everything was delicious! We will definitely return! The menus selection all inviting! 👍👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Five stars truly isn’t enough for this place! This was mine and my boyfriend’s first time visiting Stuart and unfortunately (but fortunately, in the end) we didn’t find this gem until our last day! We had the absolute best meal of our trip. The atmosphere is so lovely and cozy. The entire wait staff was so kind and attentive. Every dish we got was a must try; the pull apart bread, crab cakes, maple vinegarette salad, honey bourbon filet special and the coconut curry fresh catch. We will absolutely be making this place a staple on our next trip.

Megan the bartender is fantastic. The food is always good. The burger is pretty decent but id skip getting it with gorgonzola. It's a tad on the small side so be aware. The seasonal soup they had was amazing this week. The drinks are solid and its a decent happy hour.

Brunch too! Wowza! The pictures tell the story. Just go and thank yourself after. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Even the coffee was on point. Okay okay. We didn’t know what to order because we wanted it all so each of us got what all of us wanted as we usually do. Lol and Holy Buckets, Batman! It was 10/10!!! I just cannot get over how yummy and savory each bite was.

Love the food! Had the filthy oysters and scallops- absolutely amazing and delicious! Unfortunately our server and us did not click- which was a bummer. Although coming here every week for the last several weeks- need to take a break. If spending money for enjoyable outing- need to ensure all aspects on point.

Service was great and the chef accommodated my seafood allergy by specially preparing the veal dish. The veal was tender but a bit flavorless. We sat inside since rain was coming. The table next to us was 12" away but was the only open table. The salad that came with the veal was delicious! Appetizer pear purses was also fabulous. My friend and I split one appetizer and the veal dish and after the upcharge for splitting to get extra salad, total bill including 20% tip was $90. (We each drank water). It was plenty of food and we left full.

It was neat, but with how much it costs compared to the other things in the area I expected a bit more. The mosquitos there are super terrible. I feel they should just hand out bug spray for free. My kid got eaten alive just walking around the sting ray and where they feed the fish. The gift shop was decently priced. A boys hat fell in the lagoon and the employees did a great job of safely removing it.

A wonderful facility! The talks were informative and accessible, and the employees giving them were both knowledgeable and passionate. We walked away with lots of useful information, including how we can make a difference in our own lives when it comes to conservation! The animas seemed well cared for, with many of them being here due to an inability to be released back into the wild rather than just being here “for show.” Would highly recommend a visit!

We love this place its so nice here. There is tons of wild life exhibits. Tons of stuff for kids and adults. The staff are great. You can spend all day here easily. So much fun. Highly recommend for a family outing 👌 👏

We greatly enjoyed our afternoon here! We saw the big game feeding demonstration, did the interactive sea critter and sting ray touch exhibits, and walked around the inside area as well. Well worth the price of admission! The only thing we didn’t do was the walking trail. It was very muggy and mosquito filled due to recent rain. Shout out to Jasmin at the sea critter touch tank as well as the sting ray area!! She was very knowledgable and funny :)

The staff is fantastic, they truly are friendly & informative. The place itself however, has little to offer. You can view it all in about an hour or less. You can walk the mangroves & be led to the inlet 🫤 which isn't beautiful obviously. Kids can touch some sea life & view a couple of things indoors away from heat. Other than that, it's just okay to visit.

We had a time to look around and stop by the marine life center . This place is very good for kids. My son love string ray . They have sensory area : String ray , crabs and etc . Highly recommend!

A great educational experience for children and adults. Colorful oceanographic displays, stingray touch tanks, aquatic aquariums and live interactive instructors teaching about sea turtles and sea life, there is a lagoon with fish, stingrays and nurse sharks. Well worth spending a few hours here.

I was stunned at the amount and quality of their items. This is an absolute jewel and a must see. I was not disappointed. Cost is minimal for the value of seeing great works. If the docent is available for the cars, ask to see it. They have a racking system unlike anything I've ever seen. Take your time and take it all in. I think they have other exhibits that are invited and showcased. When I visited it was Tut and Faberge eggs replicas. Active duty and veterans were admitted free with ID at the time of this post. Great way to spend your time.

🏛️ Great museum! Really worth a visit. 1st floor is filled with unusual antique cars and bicycles. Plenty of interesting historical facts about local residents and inventors. 2nd floor is filled with myriad of unique artifacts of Florida history. Most of them are just displayed in a makeshift old store. You can spend hours just exploring this area alone. 🎧 They have an excellent and free audio guide. 🚗 Make sure to check out “car vending machine”. Plus at least two electric cars from 1900s and 1970s. Fun fact, most of their cars are drivable. They rent them to movie studios, news productions, weddings and just take them to auto shows. They have 1930s “Woody” (Ford Model A Staton Wagon) that you can sit in and explore. Make sure you do it and find out just how much more comfortable our cars are today. 🏕️ Moonshine tent display on 2nd floor is excellent. ⏱️ Give yourself ~3-4 hours to explore the museum. 🅿️ There is plenty of free parking in front of the museum. Plus public beach parking right next to the museum. 🍹There is a “Tiki Bar” on site. If you are hungry, you can visit it too. 🚽 Bathrooms a nice, roomy and very clean.

I was very impressed with this museum. I didn't expect so many rooms to view. I expected that 1 hour would've covered everything. I was wrong. You should allow at least an hour and a half 2 hours possibly longer depending. I definitely recommend it.

A very nice local museum that has something for just about everyone. I spent 2 hours there and could have stayed longer. I investigated because i saw a King Tut sign. All the display items were replicas but you got a feel for the size of the artifacts found in the tomb. The museum has a 50+ car collection with mostly card that are from before 1950. It has a baseball card collection with some bats and balls on display. It has a replica Faberge Egg display which is very large. It has a large selection of Highwayman Paintings which were pretty good. I recommend a visit.

First time visiting and we were delighted with the place. Small but loaded with many fascinating details and historical facts. It’s well worth a visit and recommend taking your time to understand the small items on display. Impressed with the historical items from our area in Florida.

My husband and I drove two hours to check this place out. Loved it. It may be a smaller museum but so many exhibits. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The only thing I wish had been different was to be able to tour the garage. There was a gentleman already there to provide more info on the cars that were on the floor.. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed my visit today. Took the shuttle from the Elliott Museum, which I highly recommend as traffic is bad and the parking worse. The buildings are well maintained, the docent and gift shop staff friendly and informative, and the views of the lagoon and Atlantic coast beautiful. Admission is very reasonable and free for veterans with ID.

A great piece of Coast Guard and Florida history. This is located off the beaten path. It is associated with the Elliott museum and is located about 2 miles or a 5 minute car ride from the main museum. You can buy a combination ticket to see the Elliott and the House of Refuge museum. I think that is the best deal. You can coordinate for a museum staff member to drive you over and back. It was a good deal and very convenient. I would recommend going to the Elliott first and then the House of Refuge. You could drive yourself but there are very few parking spaces at the Refuge. The house is the only one of the original 10 houses built by Florida to helped shipwrecked people along Florida’s east Coast. You enter through the house by the small parking lot. The staff was very friendly. The entrance house serves as a ticket booth, a waiting area and a gift shop all in one. The small set of structures is located right on the beach and offers a lovely view. They have you start at the third house where a volunteer shows a movie and then describes more about the history of the people and the structures. The next house has individual rooms that describe each period in the history of the house. Overall, it was a very nice visit to a structure that is key in describing the true initial Coast Guard history.

Awesome little piece of history. Well worth a visit. Plan on spending around an hour at the house, and a bit more time walking along the rocky beach. Parking could be tricky, with only around 20 spaces. Pleasant staff who answered questions and were friendly.

I love historical places like this. You can learn and appreciate your surroundings more when you visit areas. Our local guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It's amazing to learn about the history buried beneath our own feet. I absolutely recommend to anyone from this area or visiting from out of town. What a gem of history that I'm sure most people would drive right by every day.

Interesting little museum. Worth a visit if you are nearby. The story behind this coastal building is quite special, as it helps understand some of regional history. There is also a cute little souvenir shop. Recommend it and it takes only one hour max.

The sunrises on this beach are phenomenal and breathtaking. The rocks and outcroppings are unique to this beach all along the coast of Florida. Small. Quiet. Scenic. Always see photographers capturing wedding couples, children, and families here every morning we come. Worth a visit if you can. No decent swimming but picturesque. Wear stiff shoes. Rocks will cut your feet up.

My boys 10 & 15 loved this beach! It was the favorite of the ones we visited. There are shells, but not a ton. If you go early in the morning it isnt crowded. Parking is limited, so be prepared if you are arriving after 9/930! Bathroom and showers on site. Short walk to the beach.

Plenty of parking, nice bathrooms and showers, + lifeguards. Clean beach right on the ocean at the southern tip of Hutchinson island. Excellent shelling here. This location has the most shells over 3 other locations on Hutchinson Island that claim good shelling conditions.

Had a great time swimming and snorkling, the water was great, thte reef was cool. There is construction on going there but the bathrooms were nice and clean! I hope they add outdoor showers or rinse stations outside the bathrooms to wash the sand off after leaving the beach.

Loved this very different looking Florida beach. The shallow area near the rocks has clear water and tiny fish and tons of shells. Very cool place that recently reopened after being closed due to hurricane damage

Beautiful beach great for family. I can dive to the corals and see some fish. It's not far from the shore. When the tide is out, you can even walk there on your feet.

Nice beach for families with a protected reef really close in. A far amount of common shells, nice beach walk South towards inlet. Clear water. Lots of parking. Lifeguard.

Been 28 years since I last stayed here. Stayed at the youth site so somewhat away from the rest of the camps. I'd probably give it a 5 star if I was able to enjoy the park more as they have mountain biking, hiking, and some other water borne stuff that I couldn't partake in, sadly. Large park so plenty of room to stretch your arms. Rangers were great! Very helpful and responsive, truly appreciated. The negatives which can and cannot be fixed were the late night trains that run through the park, the mosquitoes the size of VWs, and the observation tower being closed. So go to bed tired, lather on the bug spray (didn't even phase them), and you still get a decent view from the "mountain" top.

This is my first experience at Jonathan Dickinson. It was a very pretty and peaceful campground. I stayed at the River campground location. My dog (Slater) and cat (Zena) enjoyed it very much. We had plenty of places to bike ride around. We hiked up the walk path to hobo outlook. Although the Outlook Tower was shut down it was still quite a beautiful view. One main thing that I would complain about was the constant target practice that was nearby. Gunfire all day long. So if you have PTSD this is not a great place for you.

At the park you can go on guided river tours. Boat rentals are available for 2 hours for $65. Call ahead to check for availability and times due to tides. There is a gift shop that sells refreshments, snacks, and souvenirs. I recommend taking the time to visit the welcome center where they have a small museum and video theater where children or adults can do a scavenger hunt. They have hats and tee-shirts for $10. I would recommend this park for camping, cabins and tents are available, they even have rv sites and a boat ramp, knack rentals are available also. Fishing at the pier is an option to consider it is brackish water.

HUGE park!! RV site 001 is massive with full hookups and across from a fun playground (only one in camp). It's a drive to get to the actual park, and the fees for tours are pretty steep if you have a large family. Super close to shopping, beaches, a lighthouse, and the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

Unspoiled coastal paradise filled with wildlife. Walking paths and biking trails are plentiful. They maintain the camping area well but it is difficult to procur a spot.

I wish I had more time and better shoes! This place has it all for those who enjoy an active lifestyle! Camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, horse back riding, bird watching - nature comes alive in the most unexpected and unassuming way! As soon as I arrived I was saying that I can’t wait to come back here! There are cabins and glamping tents, RV spaces and miles of trails.

This place is better than a zoo—and it’s completely FREE! (Donations appreciated) Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a spacious, peaceful haven where animals are not just on display but actually cared for in environments that mimic their natural habitats. The animals are well-kept, with proper environments and things to play with The sanctuary feels close to nature, with beautiful trails, shaded spots, and thoughtfully designed enclosures. There’s a reptile room with A/C (perfect break from the Florida heat) and an amphitheater with amazing fans, making the educational talks super comfortable and fun. The staff is kind and visible throughout the facility, ready to help and answer questions. Whether you’re local or just visiting Jupiter, this sanctuary is 100% worth your time. It’s educational, family-friendly, and a great way to support wildlife rehab and conservation.

Great sanctuary! Family friendly activity to support wildlife. The new facilities are really nice. The tour is about 1 hour. There are also activities and a gift shop. Donations only entry fee makes it not only accessible for all, but shows that it is not-for-animal profit. Had a great time.

This is a very nice, well maintained animal sanctuary. They have different birds, owls, foxes, bobcats, panthers, bears, and more. The caged areas are a good size overall. I've been to some sanctuaries where the panthers' enclosures were only a fraction of the size. Summer is getting hot, and there aren't any fans or misters as you walk around so I'd bring water, a hat, and a portable fan if heat is an issue for you. I would say 1-2 hours is enough time. We were there almost 2 hours but went slow, reading all the exhibits in the welcome center and looking at all the animals and reptiles. I know they also have shows and presentations, so you'd have to check online or call for the schedule. They have a gift shop that also has a few drinks and ice creams/popicles. It's donation only. They have a cash or card option.

This is an awesome wildlife sanctuary that is definitely worth visiting if you have an hour or so. It's not super large, but if you go at the right time, it's really cool. We went right after it rained (it actually drizzled a little on us here) and about an hour before they closed, and all of the animals were super active! We got to see the panthers running around playing with each other (they were in separate areas but still ran at each other and played), the otters running around and swimming, the owls making noise and eating their dinners, and much more.

Ed and kary were amazing they helped us with a hurt raccoon and informed us a lot! They were super sweet and provided us with care after handling the situation, they kept in contact and handled the animal properly. They took the time out there day to come get the poor thing and im super greatful for them!!

Perfect day beautiful place. You even get exercise. Climbing the stairs to the lighthouse. There's walking paths and the views worth it. There's a nice breeze at the top of of the lighthouse, the gift shop sells handmade local items and there's lots of waterfront restaurants nearby, including a really good ice cream shop with espresso across the water.

Mother in Law suggested we visited the Lighthouse on our way up to the PSL. Very sweet sweet group of people working there!! Shout out to Mr. Frank he was such a sweetie! Beautiful history behind the Lighthouse, everyone is very knowledgeable, I absolutely recommend stopping by, the price of entrance is nothing compared to the amazing view!! 10/10 experience!

It was totally worth it the visit. Staff is incredibly kind, and they will give you all kinds of tips to better enjoy the visit. The entrance price was $15/person, and you have access to several indoor exhibitions, outdoors areas, and the climbing to the lighthouse with stunning views!

It's a great place if you have kids as the waters not very deep on the beach side. If you go under the foot bridge, it does deepen enough, maybe 3 feet if the tides out. The waters crystal clear and very calm only get waves if boats go through. I love the historical house you can tour on the property.

Wonderful place for both young and old. Calm little inlet and lagoon on one side. Ocean on the other. Nice, clean water. Family friendly. BBQ stations everywhere. Get there early for best spots. It gets crowded quickly.

This is the best park I've ever been to. It's clean, the water is crystal, and the colors, the shades of blue there are just amazing!!!! I couldn't believe that nature at this location was so splendid! If you're visiting FL, this is a must see place to enjoy alone or with the entire family. It is absolutely FREE to get in!!!

Dubois Park in Jupiter is one of the coolest and most relaxing places I’ve been to! The lagoon is absolutely beautiful—calm, crystal-clear water that feels amazing to swim in. It’s perfect for families, especially with little ones, because it’s protected from the waves and super easy to wade through. There’s a great playground area that keeps the kids entertained for hours, and the whole park feels safe and welcoming. What I really appreciated was the thoughtfulness of the layout—picnic tables, shaded areas, and even a wash station so you can rinse off the sand before getting back in the car. From the views of the inlet to the well-kept grassy areas and palm trees swaying in the breeze, the whole park just has that laid-back Florida vibe. Whether you’re grilling out, swimming, exploring the rocks, or just relaxing by the water, Dubois Park has a little something for everyone. I could easily spend the whole day here. A true hidden gem and one of my favorite spots in Jupiter!

Love this place. Love the inlet lazy river is not deep and you can float. Beautiful clean park with lots of parking spaces..you can walk over the bridge to the beach ocean side. Restrooms and outdoor shower to rinse off your sand available.

Dubois Park. Tropical paradise + history = THE perfect stop on the way home from a long weekend at the Hard Rock. I’ve been wanting to come here for soooo long. Looking forward to exploring it some more on our next visit. We visited in July 2025 on a Sunday around 9am and there were still a ton of parking spaces available. This park does not charge an entrance fee compared to Sebastian inlet, I honestly loooove this park more than Sebastian Inlet. There is an area where you can walk next to the mangroves in calf deep water. Lots of families enjoying the park, barbecuing, lots of lifeguards around as well. Saw 2 cop cars patrolling. I saw 1 bathroom but did not use it so can’t comment about cleanliness. At the end of the pier people were fishing, they are using 5inch long fish as bait so they must catch pretty good sized fish here. There were lots of seaweeds on the beach side when we visited. I love the foliage on the dunes and the sculpture of a female and male overlooking the water.

My favorite beach hands down. Love going here to clear my head, listen to music, or watch the pretty boats go by. The vibe is laidback and the park is usually not too busy (I go around sunrise). Worth the 30 minute drive every time.

Jupiter Beach Park was amazing! We did the tour of the Jupiter lighthouse and the personnel there was very informative and customer friendly! Definitely taking family members visiting from New Jersey back !

Awesome swim area! Plenty of parking and sandy areas to lounge. The water is not too deep, will drop off a bit at the inlet area though. You will experience a bit of a current. Bring your snorkel gear and enjoy!

I really enjoyed this place it was definitely worth the trip were about three hours away and have kids to contend with but we came out on top thru them in the water and walked around for shark teeth and shells for hours they were passed out by 8pm what else can you ask for as a parent other than a built in babysitter lol we always enjoy our stay and will be bk again thanks to everyone that made that happen another noteworthy aspect is its free to visit all the parks and not even my town offers that every place even the boat ramp charges us fyi

Fantastic spot to wade and swim in shallow warmer water. With plenty of shade and scenic water edge foliage. The beach was very clean and water was crystal clear! It almost felt like a secret spot with how few people were there on a friday afternoon. Will definitely make my way over here again!

The mahi mahi tacos were outstanding! The fish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of flavors and toppings. Every bite was light, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely a must-try! Very clean and nice environment. We sat outside and loved it.

Beyond being a shopping destination, Harbourside Place is a nice area for walking and observing boats going by. It has a good selection of restaurants and a nice stage outside for outdoor events, when permitted. It's neat being able to walk on the docks next to the boats.

Very nice place to walk. Great views. Shopping boutiques are aplenty. Dining options from breakfast to Mexican happy hour to cafe. Small Craft Market on Sundays. Parking is a challenge. There are TWO garages. Valet available at hotel.

Friends and i attended Happy Hour at Ruth Chris. Had an outstanding variety of appetizers and meal paired with cocktails. Afterwards, we took a stroll around Harborside. Very pleasant, peaceful area. Completed our stroll with dessert at Gelato! Delicious. All in all, the area is a great spot.

This big cat sanctuary didn't disappoint. It is clean, shady and lots of animals to look at. Our tour guide Jossie was great, knew a lot of interesting information and kept us interested. A definite must.

5 stars aren't enough. 1st time visit, Took my son and daughter-in-law and it was such a plesent experience. Josie was our guide and she was so personable and knowledgeable. Her dedication and passion was so evident. The interactions with the animals was pure joy, you can see how well they are cared for and maintained. Created and operations completely on donations and love. I highly recommend a visit. Check their website as they have limited hours as to not over stress the animals which I certainly appreciate. The place was clean. The girl who did the tour was knowledgeable but the two people that came with me and myself started getting bored, she talked WAY to long on each animal. I'm sure we weren't the only ones to feel that way. After awhile you kinda just zoned her out. Aso I'm handicapped and needed to sit down occasionally. It would have been nice had an employee at least clean the chairs & benches ( which I appreciated ) they were so dirty, you didn't even want to sit down. That is why I deducted a star. Animals were really cool. If you are able to stand in one place for 10 to 15 minutes on each animal, and listen to a tour guide go on & on, I highly recommend this place.

This was our 6th time here and it never disappoints. Everytime you come is like the first time! Always something new, always another example of selfless people caring for beautiful animals. Our guide this time was Josie, which was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. My son was in town from Ft Drum and when asked what he wanted to do, he said to come here. This is our favorite day trip adventure. They even had umbrellas delivered to us mid-tour when it started to rain. Five stars is not enough!

We loved the variety of animals and our tour guide Josie was so knowledgeable and friendly. There will be many more trips there in our future!

Had an incredible time with our family at McCarthy, kids ages 5, 8 & 10. I highly recommend this place. It’s well worth the money spent. It’s evident the animals are loved and well taken care of. We are so glad we took time on our vacation to visit McCarthy’s.

This place is great. Kiss loved safari drive through ans got to see animals. It was hot so some were hiding in the shade but we were still able to see. After drive through, we went to the park are and there is more things to see and do. They have petting and feeding opportunities there. They have merry-go-round and a few other small rides (great for kids 3-7). They have 2 big water slides (have to be over 48 inches) and a splash pad with smaller rides for smaller kids. I remember making a day out of it. Our family had a great time there.

We love Lion Country Safari! It’s such an amazing place to bring the family and friends. You are allowed to respectfully drive through the park and take in the surreal sights of the diverse array of animals and habitats. You can take your time to truly appreciate everything that’s available. Once you’re done driving through the safari, you can spend some time at the park to continue to observe Gods creatures, grab a snack, let the kiddos play at the waterpark, or purchase some souvenirs. I highly recommend spending a day at the Safari.

What an incredible safari tour! With so many animals to view it was well worth the admission cost. When driving through, you receive (at your wish) a voice guided tour that you can get scanning the qr code which provides you with facts and history of each animal within the park. What makes this park even more incredible, is you can walk through another park where you view birds, flamingos, giraffes and go on a boat tour (extra fee). There is a small amusement park along with gorgeous flowers and fascinating decorative paths to walk through. Definitely a place for those between 2-120 years!!!!

Amazing experience! 🦁 The safari was so much fun — we got really close to the animals, especially the giraffes and zebras. The place is clean, well organized, and perfect for families. You can tell the animals are well cared for. Definitely worth the visit

It was a nice visit! Although I would like to have had the windows down the animals didn’t seem interested in approaching our vehicles but we had our windows up, it was nice to drive through once and walk around we did the feeding and petting area we enjoyed the boat tour and the maze. We didn’t eat there but we stopped by a Mexican restaurant close by avanges or something like that. But it was a nice time we left there happy. Wasn’t too hot walking around we ran through splash pad but didn’t stay there’s

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Lion Country Safari and it was such a wonderful experience! Seeing the animals up close from the comfort of your car is truly unique. Everything is very well organized, the animals look healthy and well cared for, and the drive-through safari is so much fun for the whole family. After the ride, there’s also a walk-through area where you can feed some animals, enjoy games, and other activities. It’s the perfect place to spend a full day surrounded by nature, learning, and fun. 🦁🦒🦓🐘 🫶🏻🐘🦒🦓

We had a great experience. We arrived at 9:30 and all of the animals were alert and active. Some were running and playing. You can drive through the safari multiple times. There are other animals in the walking portion of Lion Country Safari. I didn't take many photos because I wanted to enjoy the moment.

So much to see and do. Many eateries, shopping and places to walk around. Love getting to hang out here.

Underwhelming strip of retail stores (mostly lowbrow bars, restaurants, cannibis dispensaries, and ice cream shops). Approx 5 blocks long. You are better off walking through CitySpace (Rosemary Square), which is much, much nicer.

The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum is a must-do while visiting stunning Palm Beach. Plan to spend several hours exploring its opulently decorated rooms and exhibits. An optional docent-led tour is included with admission, along with complimentary audio and paper guide options. You can also simply wander the maze of beautifully preserved rooms spread across two floors. Don’t miss the large side building that houses a walk-through train car! An elevator in the mansion is available if needed, but as this historic landmark is over 120 years old, expect some uneven surfaces and narrow passages. Lovely gift shop on site. Highly recommended.

I have travelled all over the world and taken guided tours in many places. But, Ms. Elli was hands down the best I have ever heard. She made the story-telling come alive! What an amazing place. The attention to detail was so impressive. This is a jewel in South Florida. If you come make sure to do the guided tour and the audio. Take time to walk through the rail car. Just an impressive estate.

The Flagler Museum is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and provides excellent customer service. I especially enjoyed the audio tour feature—it reminded me of the very first cellphones, which added a fun, nostalgic touch. That said, the museum is not very baby-friendly. Strollers are not allowed inside (we had to leave it outside rain or shine), and we had to leave our diaper bag at the front desk. We visited on a whim after our outdoor plans were ruined by the weather, so we weren’t fully prepared to carry our baby the entire time. Thankfully she seemed to have enjoyed it also 🥰 Overall, it’s a wonderful place to explore Florida’s history indoors, but I’d recommend planning ahead if visiting with little ones.

The Henry M. Flagler Museum is truly breathtaking! From the moment you drive up and walk through the gates, it feels like stepping into another era. The architecture and details are absolutely stunning — it almost feels like visiting Versailles in Paris. Even as someone who doesn’t usually enjoy historical sites, I found the experience captivating and memorable. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in West Palm Beach!

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Flagler did so much for Florida. Very opulent rooms and interesting history of the time. ADA accessible and they give you wands if you want to tour it on your own.

We toured the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum and were truly impressed by both the grandeur of the mansion and the story behind it. The estate showcases the wealth and vision of Flagler, the Florida magnate who played such a pivotal role in the state’s development, and walking through its opulent rooms feels like stepping back into the Gilded Age. The architecture and furnishings are beautifully preserved, offering a vivid glimpse into a time when luxury and ambition shaped Florida’s history.

One my most favorite places in West Palm Beach. Urban landscape is designed for gathering and walking with paved streets. Fountain shops and restaurants. It's so beurre and live. Everyone can enjoy this safe family oriented plaza. 😍

CityPlace is a wonderful spot for shopping and family time! The location is perfect — everything is within walking distance: Starbucks, cute clothing stores (including kids’ shops), ice cream shops, and great restaurants for every taste. Our kids especially loved the splash area near the “Wishing Tree.” It’s the best place to cool off during the hot Florida days — and in the evening, the tree lights up in beautiful colors. On weekends, there’s live music and fun activities — we were lucky to catch a great band playing while parents relaxed and kids had fun! During our visit, there was also a pumpkin patch — beautifully decorated, even though we caught a bit of rain, the kids didn’t mind at all. Parking is paid (about $11), but the exit is super convenient — right into the plaza with the Wishing Tree and splash area. There’s also a restroom near the parking elevators — always very clean. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back!

Outstanding! I have a ton of food allergies and staff member, Chris, took great care to make sure that I was safe. Chef and the rest of the team put their heads together - and double-checked with me a couple of different times on different things - to make sure that I got a delicious and healthy meal. I will definitely go back again thanks to their amazing service and their concern over my health. Great job, team! Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

City Place was such a cute and charming spot! There are so many shops and great restaurants perfect for families to enjoy. The whole area has such a beautiful, aesthetic vibe. Loved everything about it!

City Place is clean and they seem to be trying to make it more of a destination. The shopping is definitely lacking. There are quite a few restaurants very close options.

The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach is a fantastic place to visit. The collection is well-curated, with a good amount of art pieces that span different eras. I also liked the art figures located outside, which adds to the overall experience and makes the museum feel like a living gallery. The old tree in front of the building is not only a great landmark but also provides a nice bit of shade. The employees were also very kind and approachable, which made my visit even more pleasant. My favorite part of the museum was getting to see the Pablo Picasso art and the photography exhibit. This is definitely a must-visit place if you are in the area, and I would absolutely go back again.

Every piece was thoughtfully displayed, allowing you to appreciate the fine detail and powerful storytelling in his work. It was a rare opportunity to experience such extraordinary art up close. Overall, Norton Museum’s After Dark event exceeded my expectations. It blended art, music, and culture seamlessly. I highly recommend visiting—especially during these special evenings. It’s a must-see experience in South Florida.

Such a lovely way to spend ~1-2 hours admiring art and escaping the heat. With 3 floors (1st floor being the largest) this museum boasts a variety of interesting art. Not only is it indoors but it also has a little garden worth checking out with some sculptures and pretty greenery. In addition, there’s a cafe/restaurant that seems quite lovely to dine in. Staff is friendly and easygoing, overall I’d recommend and pricing is fair!

Visited the Rembrandt exhibition at the Norton Museum of Art — a true immersion into a world of light and shadow. The portraits seem to come alive, each gaze filled with story and emotion. Excellent organization and atmospheric lighting make the encounter with the master truly unforgettable. I highly recommend it to all lovers of classical painting!

For $20 it was a great experience! Lots of cool art to see, big and inviting I definitely recommend spending time in the gardens it’s filled with lushes landscaping. They even have a decent size restaurant there! 3 levels of amazing art and culture.

Great music choices and played wonderfully. I appreciated The origin of the song and the artist before they played it was appreciated. I would’ve liked to have gotten a program and the seating was really tight. I practically had to hold hands with the guy sitting next to me. I’m all for making new friends, but going to second base should happen on a second date.

Beautifull facility. Sunday Brunch was absolutely delicious. Great service and friendly staff. And the polo match was very entertaining and thrilling to watch. Halftime divot-stomp and the DJ after-party just added to the experience. Well Done...

A stellar day at National Polo Center. Really fun people watching amazing sportsmanship and the horses! the culinary experience! the wine list! this is a must do when visiting Palm Beach or Wellington.

Great time at our first polo match! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Parking was easy. The Argentinian BBQ by the Box Office house was off the charts tasty! Stadium seating was comfortable, easy to access, and provided great "up front" action. We were able to see the field well, especially from the center. The Stomping of the Divets was a lot of fun. Love to see everyone in their dresses and hats 👒 Absolutely worth $30 general admission

The candlelight concert was lovely. The performers were fantastic and the memories brought from the songs was wonderful. The concert gets a 5 The venue was the weak link. The Polo Club was a lovely facility outside. In the space the seats were too small so people were all over each other making the seating uncomfortable and the room warm Outside the room TVs were on ruining the intimacy of the candle effect the concert was supposed to have. Will see them perform again, it will be somewhere else. The venue is why this isn’t getting a full 5 stars

Had a great time here celebrating a birthday with family. Brunch was excellent, with a great buffet selection. The venue is extremely well kept. We really enjoyed the polo match as well! Overall a really fun afternoon, highly recommend!

A must go if you’ve never been. Easy to park if you follow the directions from the parking attendant. Every thing is clearly marked for quick access as you get to the facility. If you’re sitting in the sun bring a small umbrella or wide brim hat. You will need it. In March prepare for some rain to fall. You can finally wear that stylish polo shirt you bought.

Overhyped. Very few direct parking spots, no restaurants or bistros or street cafes for a short shopping brake. The whole place is like - give me your money, get my stuff and get outta here! Even some architectural beauties can't compensate though.

Super-luxury shopping street. All stores are high-end brands (Chanel, etc), with no mid-level retailers (such as Massimo Dutti or Mango). Stretches for 4 blocks, ending at the beach-front. Very few places to eat (try Via Roma Cafe). The nearest entry to the beach is 2 blocks north.

Probably one of the best zoos I have seen! I felt like I was walking through a place built for the animals instead of for human needs. That being said, there was plenty of tree cover as we walked through and what was built for humans was very nice and well-kept (like the bathrooms for example). The person who was feeding the tortoises when we came through was so kind and answered all of my questions about them and even about the tigers next door. We were also grateful to be able to bring our bags and reusable cups in. We had just come off a cruise and were carrying our two backpacks around with us with nowhere else to take them.

We visited the Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society and we had such a fantastic time. The animals all looked so well fed, healthy and lovingly cared for. Their habitats are spacious and lush with so many trees and natural elements that make it feel like they can roam freely just as they would in the wild. It was wonderful to see how much attention is given to their wellbeing and environment. We truly enjoyed every moment exploring and seeing the beautiful animals. A memorable and heartwarming experience. Highly recommend for families, animal lovers and anyone looking for a day filled with joy and discovery!

Took a trip to the Zoo... What a fun day it was. It was a slow day so parking was perfect and free, the Zoo staff were so friendly, you could tell they liked their job. The park is beautiful, and they were getting ready for Zoo lights, which we'll be going back too. We saw almost every animal that the zoo has to offer, was pleasantly surprised, that the areas for the animals were very large, none were in distress. The zoo grounds clean, neet, and beautiful. The information plaques, were better than any other zoo I've been to. We did eat there and that was also good. However we did not do any experiences on this the first trip. Hope you go and have a fun day also.

My daughter had a great time, and there was a nice splash pad for the kids to cool off in. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the restaurant; the food was excellent. The zoo offers a lot of attractions, especially since you can get a closer look at the animals than in a typical zoo. My advice is to buy your tickets online to avoid waiting in long lines and a few bucks cheaper.

We absolutely love this zoo and had another great experience here yesterday. This was our first time doing the Sloth Experience - what an amazing thing to see a sloth up close and even get to feed it! The lively tamarins in the enclosure were an added bonus. A huge shout-out to the staff, especially Andrea N. who assisted us quickly when something didn't go as planned. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. We can't wait to come back to meet more animals, soon!

I'm a 70 year old lady, I came by myself on a Friday morning thinking it wouldn't be to crowded. Wrong. They had some kind of school outing with 50 kids or more running, screaming and pushing their way through. Don't get me wrong, I like kids just fine, but in smaller groups. It was so annoying, I had to sit out awhile just to let them all go further away from me, way further. Thats the only reason I took off a star. It was my first time there and I did enjoy it. The zoo is very pretty and the animals weren't hard to see. I recommend going, hopefully you won't have bus loads of kids running you down and over.

Very nice zoo, a lot of different animals to see. All the animals have big enclosures and are very well maintained. My favorite thing was the splash area that is in the center of the zoo! Perfect during the summer time. Gives the kids a chance to cool off before heading to the other parts of the zoo, that way they last longer and get to see more!
