Overall, a good experience worth doing once but overregulated. The place is gorgeous! I was impressed by how clean everything is kept. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She answered any questions that we had and told many cool stories about the house, the Dow's, and even certain items in the house. I loved the story of Dow and all of his puzzles, toys, and trinkets just as much as the house itself! While I understand why things may be this way from their perspective, from a visitor perspective the experience is a bit stifled by all of the rules that they have. No pictures/photography is a lame rule, especially in today's day and age. At the very least they should have one area setup that you can take selfies at. Apparently, you are not allowed to use the public restrooms until the end of the tour so you better make sure that you don't have to pee for 2+ hours (Of course you will probably arrive a bit early to park and settle, then the tour is an hour and a half!) Coats aren't allowed and they use this as an excuse to not view the outside on cold, windy, or rainy days. Call me crazy but if you are paying full price then you should get the full experience, regardless of a little bit of wind. It was a bit rude that the tour guide grabbed water for herself to drink in the middle of the tour yet of course the visitors aren't allowed to bring a drink in. The gift shop was filled with cool items at pretty fair prices (for the most part.)

Our docent was awesome, very knowledgeable, very enthusiastic. Our tour was about 2 hours and we found it very interesting, informative, fun and beautiful. The house is iconic. Make sure to drive around the neighborhood and see the other homes and buildings Dow and his peers built. They are amazing.

We are from Midland and have been there before, but we always learn something new. Family from Chicago went with us. Ages 11 to 68 all enjoyed the tour. Our docent did a wonderful job of telling us some history about the Dow family, little details and stories about the house, including all of us in the discussion, and answering our questions. She was exceptional!

Very interesting tour...was born in the area but moved away years ago and happy to learn about Alden Dow, and some about Dow Chemical. Our guide was a delight, although some staff were a bit rude to her and hurried her along. Worth a visit, especially if you like mid century modern!

We drove up from Clarkson and it was totally worth the drive. I had been enchanted by this house for years - seeing it in art books - It is incredible inside and out. So far ahead of its time. Our tour guide was wonderful and seeing the house at the peak of the Fall colors was so mind-blowing. The submarine room will live in my imagination for a very long time along with the use of color, and the joy of toys.

One of our included activities on our Collette Tour of Michigan. It was one of my favorites activities on this trip. The home’s design was influenced by the architect/owner’s relationship with Frank Lloyd Wright. The entire facility is wonderful and well-worth the time to tour. The docents were great: very knowledgeable and personable throughout the tour. It is a beautifully maintain home/studio from the 1930’s.

Wow! Was this ever special...I've been traveling the country enjoying tours of various FLW homes and buildings so visiting Aldon Dow's work space and home was magnificent. I especially enjoyed our docent, she was easy to understand, spoke loud enough for all and knew everything...she often invited questions and always had the answer. The right amount of knowledge, interesting stories and background. In my opinion she couldn't have been any better!!!!

Dow Gardens is an absolute gem! 🌸 The entire place is beautifully maintained with vibrant flowers, peaceful walking trails, and well-designed landscapes that change with the seasons. The canopy walk is a must-try it gives you a stunning bird’s-eye view of the trees and gardens. It’s such a refreshing spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy nature. Perfect for a family outing, a quiet stroll, or even just some “me-time.” The staff is friendly, and everything feels thoughtfully taken care of. Truly one of the most beautiful places to visit in Michigan! 🌿✨

Enjoyable, relaxing, intriguing. Had a fabulous day wondering different paths throughout the gardens and your even encouraged to leave the path to walk across the lawn to find other hidden places. Saw lots of different varieties of plants and flowers. Thought things were labeled quite well so you knew what you were looking at. Had a canopy walk which was really cool to be up so high in the pine trees to look out across different areas of the grounds. The café by the canopy walk was very well priced having sandwiches, drinks and ice-cream. Looking forward to another trip on a Thursday or Friday so I can tour the Pines home.

Dow Gardens are beautiful. Such a peaceful and lovely way to spend an afternoon. Everything is very walkable and extremely well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. I met a friend at the gardens and we spent a few hours catching up, and we really enjoyed ourselves. They would be equally enjoyable solo, or as a family.

We visited this garden in Fall season and its perfect choice. Dow Gardens and Whiting Forest is awesome beautiful. We seen beautiful fall colors. We walked around the park and We enjoyed seeing the different plants, flowers, and trees. The Canopy Walkway was must see attraction at park. It has beautiful trail walk and glass top view. My daughter enjoyed the Children's Garden tremendously. Highly recommend a visit to commune with nature and beauty for a few hours.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The grounds were gorgeous. Prepare to get lost in the vast gardens and venture down hidden paths amongst the flowers. I might have visited a quarter of the place in my almost 2 hours there, and I am already planning my next trip back. It's definitely worth the cost of admission.

This is an awesome place. Well worth the drive. We came from 2 hours away. Lots of walking, beautiful paved paths, mulched trails. The canopy walk is built to stand till the end of time. The flowers and trees are all so beautiful. Everything about this place is so peaceful and calming. There is a waterfall, a stream, flower gardens, trees, ponds, bridges, and lots of soft green grass. There are also lots of benches to sit and enjoy the views and relax. Spend the day and enjoy.

I love coming here in the Fall to see the colors of the leaves on the canopy walk. But the summer is just as nice. You can definitely get a workout in if you walk all of the gardens and the canopy walk in one day. So sad that the playground was made out of wood and rotting and got torn down. I do hope they make plans to make another one.

We first ate at The Landing restaurant. Food is good but not the best you have had. Each time we eat here there are hardly any people in here. The prices are super ! I like the atmosphere in the casino. You will safe and no smoking. They have many modern machines mixed with some old ones.

Just ok nothing special. Had fun playing, didn’t win. Had lunch it was ok. Place was small but very clean and staff was friendly.

Very friendly staff. From the moment you pull in, the workers transporting people to the front door make you smile. Lots of games to choose from and everything is very clean. Had a great breakfast burrito and sandwich. Disappointed with size of the pool, but enjoyed the hot tub. Very much worth a trip to check out saganing eagles landing.

We LOVE the hotel. The rooms are spacious and so clean. The bed is comfy. The pillows are comfy and you can buy one if you want to take one home ( I did) with you. The shower is very very nice. We will definitely be coming back.

Fun place to play slot machines. Have a wide variety. No table games, they only have slots but was told they are trying to get tables. So we shall see. Food was very good! Ate at one of the bar areas. Manu was bar food and they also had pizza. All and all eill go back again!

We enjoy going to this casino from time to time. On our most recent visits, we had a free room offer, plus $25 in free play, and a $25 dining credit. Gambling was up and down, but we didn't lose everything in 20 minutes. It was fun and we expected to lose some money. Our room was comfortable, the drink staff was attentive and our food from the snack bar was delicious.

Staff always treat us with respect and kindness the slots are fun and seen quite a few jackpots. The suite we stay in is very nice and roomy.

A great place for a relaxing walk. The Tridge itself is a really cool bridge structure, but there's so much more to the area. There are parks in all directions allowing for multiple activities: Walking, bike riding, jogging, kayaking, etc. There are multiple dog parks for different sized dogs, playscapes for kids, even a skate park!

Seen pictures on FB. I have been wanting to go for some time now. I got the chance and brought my sister with me. What a beautiful place. So much to explore. And lots of walking. This is truly a BIG park. We were there ruffly and hour. And soaked up the atmosphere, statues, and beautiful flowers around the park. All of it was a vary interesting to see. You got to go and see this beautiful Tridge.

The Tridge in Midland is one of the city’s most unique and iconic landmarks, and it’s so much more than just a bridge. This three-way wooden footbridge sits at the meeting point of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa Rivers, and each arm leads you to something different — making it the perfect hub to start an adventure. One arm takes you into Chippewassee Park, a large recreational area with ball fields, playgrounds, and plenty of green space. This is also where the Midland Dog Park is located, which is a big bonus if you’re traveling with pets. Another arm leads to St. Charles Park, a quieter spot that offers open grassy areas and peaceful river views. When we visited, there were a ton of kids dressed up for homecoming photos on the bridge and in the parks nearby. Honestly, it’s a fantastic idea — the bridge, the river, and the parks make for a really stunning backdrop. What I love most about the Tridge is its versatility. Families with kids have space to play, dog owners have a park right there, and outdoor enthusiasts can hop on the trails. It’s also a great spot for photography — whether you’re catching the sunset over the rivers, snapping pictures of the bridge itself, or just documenting a day out with friends and family.

Went August 1 and we ran into a festival. Not much parking. Do.ifnyoungo start before noon. Free on street and a parking lot next to tridge. Lots of food stands but they don't open until 7 pm. Had many games and storytime for children under 4.Mostbstreets blocked off for bands and pediatrian traffic. Very clean and gorgeous flowers. Very ,very safe.

Great views of the three intersecting rivers. Downtown Midland Tridge. Close to Dog Park, Skate Park, Picnic areas, recreation trail, outdoor commons area on Main street with a variety of shop, retail, restaurants, bars.

It was beautiful especially at twilight. Very romantic. There were a couple of little girl tiny humans out there and they were the sweetest they were with their mom and their little brother and their mom was pushing a stroller and it was just incredible. An experience for the whole family or even just a couple.

Beautifully clean facility. Super family friendly with lots of food options for everyone. We go to about seven games each season and always have a great time! Theme nights are especially fun for kids of all ages. The staff does a great job of keeping the games engaging and active! Let's go Looooooooons!!!!

This is my 1st time being here to watch the Loons Game. It is a neat place, lots of shops, and places to eat.

We went the the LPGA Dow Championship. We were in the veterans suite. I cannot say enough about this golf course. It is beautiful. The Dow amd Kelly treats our veterans wonderfully! Thank you! You will not be disappointed! I have never had a better experience at PGA or LPGA than we did here. Dow amd Kelly are fabulous.

When I take photos here, I’m always impressed by how versatile the space is. Dow Diamond is an experience all on its own. The crack of the ball the running and the diving for the catch all excitement happens here. There are a variety of vendors in the pathway to serve all your needs weather outside pretzel a beer or a hot dog they have something for everyone. We're walking in the pathway make sure to look at all the displays for the advertised many local businesses and Charities that you can visit. If you have a large group you can always rent out the Pavilion which serves any of the meals that you choose and has a great view of the field. If you are an avid baseball connoisseur make sure to get season tickets and if you're lucky they'll have box seats available then too. Cecilia spirit and support for the loons and come to a game cheer cheer cheer. Come support Midland and the loons you won't regret it. I even caught a foul ball my last visit, it was so exciting!

When you plan a trip to Pinconnie, MI, this is a must stop at place! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This place is HUGE, so wear comfortable shoes! Excellent sales, too! We bought boxes of canning jar lids & rings for $1.99 a box! Hunting, fishing, household...they have it all!

This place is amazing. So much to see and buy. I love the fishing section. Spent way too much money but my kid has a new fishing pole and loads of fishing supplies so it was way worth it. Will be returning on all future visits.

Lovely park.. very easy to navigate and a short walk to the bay if you like that kind of thing. 2 restrooms/showers and very well maintained. I popped in for a single night with my hammock and realized it was super quiet after 10pm. Ten out of ten would stop by again. Also was able to record two owl types on a bird watching app I use. Very cool.

I’m visiting from NH. Our lakes are very clear & clean. This lake was far from that. However multiple people were in the water swimming and my daughter didn’t mind the mud bath. I will say that the kids playground and splash pad was on and popping. I wish there was food store & souvi er shop.

We were visiting family and they brought us here for the day. It is absolutely beautiful here. Nice and clean. There is tons of parking and places to picnic. Whether you want to play at the beach or take the kids to the splash pad, there is something for everyone.

Drove from Indianapolis (5 hours) to try to view the Northern Lights....we viewed them!! Bay City did not disappoint. A great park! Friendly people. Looking forward to coming back.

Beach area was nice. Had volley ball pit, and a handicap ramp towards the water. Splash pad for the kiddos. Mine was a spur of the moment trip but I see coming back with family for a longer stay.

The state park was amazing! There was a walkway the whole way that went through marshes and all the way to the beach! We saw deer and birds and a tern! There was even a walkway out to the water. It was much appreciated by my husband and me.

Campground was great—clean bathrooms, spacious sites, and great for kids. The splash pad was awesome. The beach had nice sand and warm water, but the algae, muddy bottom, and very shallow water were disappointing. Loud music from boats near the beach took away from the otherwise peaceful feel of the park. Also part of the beach is private property.

Absolutely awesome place for bands to play. We got to see Riot V perform there recently; we had plenty of room to sit, and the band sounded amazing. It has great acoustics for a smaller outdoor venue. The river is gorgeous, there are beautiful murals, a neat statue by a big fountain, and a small playground. They also had an ample amount of restrooms, which was super convenient. The only downside I could think of is that there wasn't as much parking as the show I went to needed. We got there early and had no problem, but my friends who got there later in the night had to walk pretty far.

Seagulls were very approachable and willing to take food. Only ever flew off when a passerby passed, but they would always return. The optimal location for seagull feeding is the benches by the Princess Wenonah boat. Would recommend highly.

We had the opportunity to visit the Wenonah Park at World Friendship Shell in APR_FY2024 and it was an amazing experience. We made a plant tour and fore sure it's beautiful place, specially to visit in a a hot summer day. The land around the Wenonah Park at World Friendship Shell is also remarkable, even a simple ride across the roads could be an unforgettable experience. Definitely, it's a place where we want back.

Beautiful place in downtown Bay City, right near the river. There are many events going on, especially in the Summer time. You are right next to downtown, where you can walk, eat, and have some fun. I highly recommend Bay City if you are traveling through Michigan.

Nice venue on the River, seen the band five for fighting there and it was a really cool evening. Took a couple pics with the drummer Mr. Randy Cooke, super great guy! I'd enjoy seeing another show here, parking was good and the atmosphere was very nice👍🏼

Bay City is a gem within the Great Lakes Bay Region and the live music at the World Friendship Shell in Wenonah Park never disappoints. I am looking forward to another summer spent enjoying the city.

the show was a bit silly for my taste and probably more aimed at children, the projector was a bit dim and it's cooling fans were very audible, and the seams in the screen were sometimes visible, but it was still good overall and I enjoyed myself quite a bit. definitely worth $7

The Planetarium is so nice! Have gone here a few times to learn about the stars & sciency stuffs. The environment is so comfy you might fall asleep, a nice place to relax and learn about the universe.

Tickets were sold out for the show we wanted to see, but! Another different show was available. Excellent show. Glad we stuck around.

Beautiful & educational facility. I have been here for multiple shows that never disappoint. A truly unique and remarkable experience. The little spaces throughout the planetarium with educational tidbits are fun. There is a a little gift shop as well. My wedding was held here in March of 2016 and the show that was put together for our ceremony was beautiful & unforgettable! Everyone we worked with for our wedding was professional & friendly. The pictures in the dome & on the viewing deck turned out amazing. Highly recommend attending a show here or even having an event here.

I lived here when it was Wynonna hotel, where the planetarium sits and the coolest part of that was the underground that we used to have some head shops down in there. It was the coolest thing ever in the 70s I like the planetarium it’s cool to.

Me and my fiance had an amazing time! The show was very well done and the symphony was out of this world. Well done! The only issue we had was the scrambling and moving people around to fill all the seats. It looked especially difficult for the seniors. My suggestion is to have assigned seats on ur website when purchasing tickets like they do at the movies now. I think that would help out tremendously for the patrons and the staff. And maybe an usher at the door with a flashlight for the elderly as well. I watched an elderly lady with a cane try n get up n go out but she couldn't see ..Thanks again great show otherwise...

Happily stumbled upon this great ship purely by chance. My 12 year old nephew was interested (first spark of life on the trip that day). We drove closer to take a look and discovered it was a museum and open. It was quite fascinating going aboard and seeing the entire ship. Very few closed or blocked doors. Worth the time and money for sure.

Impressive, love it. So much to explorer. And so much to learn about this ship. I love Navy ships. There a story to tell on each and every one of them in Michigan. So glad I stop on in. Staff was friendly , kind and helpful. Answered questions. And the gentleman in the gift shop had a story to tell about this ship. He was interesting to chat with. As we were leaving another gentleman chatted with us again and explained a few more details. I was intrigued with the fire pit outside the gift shop. He explained who donated it. And gave a story as well. I would come back again when I am going that way again.

The first half of my visit was self-guided, and at my own pace. The areas off-limits were clearly marked and all guests receive a guide book containing rules upon entry in Admission Office/ Gift Shop. Halfway through my visit, I met Eric, a retired US Navyman, who not only offered to show me the Authorized Only parts of the ship, but also offered me some of his beautiful hand-made crafts as souvenirs. He taught me more than paper or books ever could, and I am SO thankful he was there to enjoy the weather as I was so we could explore the ship together. He crafts the rope work for the ship, and creates keychains for guests in his spare time. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing the ship and meeting the staff, but Eric is there most weekends if you're interested in an entirely unique experience! Please go when you have the time to truly appreciate the USS Edson!

The Edson is truly a gem. We took our Scout Troop there for an overnight experience. The volunteers were ALL amazing. The passion they have for history and this ship really showed at every turn. Specifically, Erik, who was our groups guide for the evening/night was absolutely amazing. He showed us parts of the ship and little details that we would easily have overlooked. I could tell that he really enjoyed giving tours and answering questions from both scouts and adults that were interested in learning more. Bruce (who actually SERVED on the Edson) also had some great insights and stories. If you are in Bay City, this is absolutely worth stopping for.

Very cool how close you can drive up to the ship and even stop get out and snap a picture of your vehicle, or even selfie or family photos with it. Great view of the water and definitely worth it at sunset!

This ship from the shore alone is magnificent. It looks big, but inside it is huge. Our tour guide Wayne, was fantastic. His knowledge of the ship and enthusiasm for the tour make it an unforgettable experience. It is worth far more that $15 a person. I cannot say enough good things about all of it. Even though we didn't see him, a big thank you to Paul as well.

Full disclosure, we arrived after they had closed for the day. That being sad the environment and scenery make for awesome photo back drops. Plenty of parking for even larger vehicles. If you are in the Baycity area and have some time to kill, check out the tour.

Lovely little island to visit. Has plenty to offer. Plenty of well paved trials for walking or biking. Easy access to the island, multiple ways on or off. Easy parking to figure out.

A great place to fish; catch catfish, bass, bluegill, carp, walleye, bowfin, gar, rockbass and the occasional stick... Plenty of spots, docks and banks... Suggest to fish with a buddy. Location does sometimes attract a shady crowd.

A great place to 'get away from it all'... nice fishing spots and plenty of free parking...unfortunately there are visitors to this venue that take advantage of it. This is a no alcoholic beverage location, but people throw their beer and liquor bottles on the ground, like they deserve to... or own the joint... despite the presence of trash cans. Try fishing at the dock, you'll catch, catfish, carp, sheepshead, trout, walleye, bluegill to name a few.

This would be a nice venue if it wasn’t filthy! The carpet is horrific, the freezer was disgusting, fountain was filthy and there was spilled food on the chairs throughout. I am extremely disappointed in how much they charge and did not even have the decency to clean it before I had an event.

This is an excellent venue for weddings and is surprisingly reasonably priced. You can also have events here including business meetings and conferences. Definitely worth it to stop by even if only to see the fountains and rose garden.

Always nice when we go, that was the venue we used when we got married in.

This zoo is small in size but had a great variety of animals! Perfect to take smaller kids and get to see everything in one day! Zoo was clean and well kept, staff were friendly and helpful! They have a restaurant, gift shop, carousel, and train ride! Lots of hand washing stations that were nice to have and bathrooms were clean! Would recommend for any age! All the different gardens that people or places sponsor were cool to check out also!

They have crockigators lol 😆 the habitats were clean. The main pond was drained like a mosh pit or lagoon 😇 we got to pet the goats for free 🐐 it was a fun experience. Would go again!

Well maintained zoo in Saginaw that has a nice variety of animals. Caretakers keeps the facilities clean and the animals seem to be happy and enjoying the visitors. Nice train for little kids to to see the entire zoo. Has concessions for a lunch if you did not bring your own. Enjoyed my time there.

Super cheap (got in for $6 a person!), cute little place to take your kids to explore, and even have a park and sand pit. Their gardeners need applause as well its so beautiful everywhere you look! They dont have things on display to buy so you dont spend money like other places (unless you go into the store). Loved it will def come again.

Very cute little zoo! I was shocked at how pretty it was and how close up you got to the animals. Plus its only $8 to get in if you're not a local resident. The train ride was cute and there was a nice pond in the middle. Definitely would revisit in the future

It's a small zoo but I love this one. I took my kids there for years. The train is the best part.

I've been coming here since I was a baby and it was grown right along with me 💞 I really enjoy the zoo and can't wait for the new additions so definitely go check it out

When I say this is such a magical experience I can’t stress it enough!! This castle was truly stunning!!

I took my three year old here while we were in the area and it was neat to see. We paid for the tour which was very reasonable and bought a couple books to support. Mr. Curwood was one of Michigan’s foremost conservationist and this is a neat part of Michigan’s history.

This place is an awesome monument to the author James Oliver Curwood. The staff are lovely and very friendly. They have a vast knowledge of the history of Mr. Curwood and his life and involvement in the town. The castle and surrounding park is beautifully maintained. Would highly recommend a visit, especially during the festival when all the art vendors and reenactors are out.

We have never had the chance to go inside. But the park is so lovely and has ample shade to just sit and look all the beauty. There is also a nice art walk nearby, and the bridge is always a favorite.

This was my first time going and my first time ever trying to get tickets. Let’s start with the good things. The staff is super friendly and organized at the station, everyone really enjoys working there, even the conductors and the staff that goes in every single carriage. I had the “cheapest” tickets and still it was pricey. They did gave me hot cocoa which I thought it was extra. The negative of this experience or things that I would have done different. - the train was behind an hour, people were waiting in the cold for an hour…I wish they told people before - they only have two restrooms inside!!! It took me 20 min. And they have portal potty’s outside, but still with the people they get I’m shock only two. - if you have small children I’ll call ahead and ask for a 4 seater. I wish I did this! - Ashley was so so so disappointed, the food was terrible and I agree with the vendors, not enough vendors that were about Polar express theme, which was disappointed. - The line for Santa was so long that when we went he wasn’t “available” anymore! -I’ll bring my own water and my own food - again not enough bathrooms and the portal potties are dirty. - they don’t have enough small children activities, and they have a slide and a carrousel but it’s 3 dolls for each time they go, even the slide which is pricey. I get that this what mostly people depend on their income but it needs a major improve, specially for the price you pay. Again, it’s so disappointed for families with small children about the quality of food, the activities and the environment. It’s sad that I didn’t feel like it was Christmasy or “North Pole”.

This was a great event for the family! Roger made it such a special event for us. Very hard to get tickets, but very much worth it. Best to have one person purchase all the tickets for a group. Thanks for making my sons wishes come true.

It was quite an experience here I've been wanting to go here for years. Not sure why but I finally made it only to see The polar Express was getting maintenance done so sorry to say this year I don't think there's going to be rides with this train pulling anyone. The wheels were completely off the train. Our tour guide that we had which is very informative about everything. I really enjoyed all he was telling me. I wish I could remember his name but he said that in my lifetime I'll never see this happen again to The polar Express train that was the train that featured in The polar Express movie. So next year I will have to go for a ride.

We attended the Christmas in July event and had so much fun exploring the trains and riding the mini train. We came early and so we didn't get to watch the movie. But the tour, mini trains and train musuem was totally worth it!! This was a free event when we went unless you wanted to ride the big train that was $5 a person.

This was our first trip on the Pere Marquette. We choose the swivel chairs which turned out to be an excellent choice for comfort and viewing. The staff in our car and elsewhere were incredibly friendly and made the trip fun. The town of Ashley is definitely geared towards children but it's fun to check out the small stores. Overall, it was a fun experience.

The North Pole Express was a magical experience. We went with a group of my Mom-Friends and our kids. We got the seats in the dining cars. The kids sipped on hot cocoa, had delicious treats brought to us on the on the way there and back. The staff in our car (Holly) lead Christmas songs and shared historical information about the train. The conductor came around on the way home and signed the Polar Express book that we bought in Ashley. Ashley completely transformed into the North Pole. All of the staff and vendors there were so incredibly joyful and in character! I was so impressed, it was Disney level commitment. There was a free magic show there, the Grinch, shops, rides, a toy shop where kids could make a toy and so many nods to the Polar Express movie. We loved it! Worth every penny and we will definitely do this again. Also making a trip back to Ashley because we didn’t get to do everything. If you go, definitely wear your pajamas like in the movie! Lots of people do this or wear matching shirts and holiday hats, necklaces, etc. You can bring snacks on the train, so that is great. Water bottles and non-sugary snacks are a good idea for the kiddos.

November 2021 - family of 5 went on the Polar express. We went on a Saturday night and had a blast. My 3 daughters are under 10. We went on Vixen and the 2 young ladies did a great job keep us entertained. We go to Ashley, MI. Its a small town and we went right to Santa. Didn't wait long. A lot of things for the kids to do. The volunteers are wonderful. You can make or buy items there. You can get food. We plan on doing this again next year with more family and friends. Tickets normally go on sale in the spring.

I’m not really into museums but if you are you’d probably really enjoy this place! They make it interactive and interesting. Affordable price and was unique to see.

The Frankenmuth Historical Museum was a neat museum about the roots and people who settled this charming little town. The person who sold us admission was very nice and the gift shop had cool trinkets and souvenirs. For the price of admission, I think the value was good. It took us a little under an hour to see everything.

It's okay. The history is very plain. Is it worth going in? I mean you have to figure that out for me. You can look things up online and get the history of this town is very easy. Very simple. It's not much to it and it's not a lot of diversity in it. However you know if you're in the area you want to check it out, go right ahead

This city is simply perfect, it's always a 10 in every way. It's worth visiting at any time of the year, as there's always something new to discover. The city is charming, beautiful, and magical, with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a dream. There are events and activities for all tastes and ages, making it ideal to visit with family or friends. The views are breathtaking, the strolls are pleasant, and the journey feels like you're inside a movie. The city has a special charm that makes you want to come back again and again.

Enjoyed a delicious fried chicken dinner. Came with all the sides of course. The coleslaw was tangy and delicious. The gravy, amazing. All the cheeses and breads and cottage cheese hit the spot. I’ve listed the menu here with the prices. It’s not for everyone. There’s is a lot of shopping in the walking area around the two main restaurants that serve the all you can eat chicken dinners. Great hotels to spend the night. Water park attached to the hotel. I’ve stayed in the past. Very nice and fun. Overall great for a weekend getaway or an afternoon.

A fun place to spend the afternoon! Lots of little shops to visit and explore. Snacks, drinks and food are all around. In a mixture of old world charm in a fun setting right on the river. They have tons of events that take place on the weekends. Reenactment, dog show, car shows etc.

An interesting and diverse shopping area...even for a grumpy husband. Loved the Bavarian theme. Shop keeper's were pleasant and helpful. Beautiful architecture and places to sit were adequate. ..clean and smoke free.

I came here specifically for cherry republic. I did find something in the cats and dogs shop. Otherwise, I pretty much enjoyed the Bavarian storefront. I wish this was similar to the Nelis' Dutch Village with German merchandise and German feel to it.

The owner was really nice. The tour cost was $18.00 for one hour. Well worth it. I highly recommend taking this tour well worth it.

This place is a hidden gem of frankenmuth. We traveled here with a group of high schoolers on a field trip to film them for an upcoming documentary, and we were all extremely impressed. On display where artifacts, pictures, and most importantly stories of Michiganders, who fought in wars from our nations history. The tour guides there were extremely knowledgeable, and the array of items on display are very cool. In fact, they have an entire display of German and Japanese artifacts which were confiscated by World War II veterans. I highly a recommend spending time here. It’s off the beaten path of the main downtown area, but whether you’re a war buff or not, you will find it, inspiring and informative.

This was very cool! Our boys are all in WWII right now and this place honored all who served from MI in all wars and space. Mark, who was working today was very knowledgeable and he had a scavenger hunt the boys could do which made them look through and at everything multiple times trying to find their objects on their sheets. It helped them to stop and really appreciate everything while learning new cool things about history and humbling them for own fallen soldiers. I recommend this place!

Absolutely fantastic hidden Michigan gem! This museum has an amazing collection of military history, Michigan soldiers' stories, and artifacts and memorabilia. For me it's an absolutely essential stop on a Frankenmuth visit, and well worth a trip on its own merit! The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and the museum itself is well organized and well cared for. A fantastic place for researching a school project, brushing up on military history, or just spending a day learning more about the amazing things people from Michigan have accomplished.

Absolutely wonderful, informative and interesting museum. The staff told us about many of the displays and we didn't even have a tour scheduled. I would highly recommend this as a stop if you are in the area. There is displays for many various past and present wars and we learned about the Polar Bears unit. They also have Bingo cards available for young children to search for objects as they go through the museum.

We went for the Christmas event this afternoon after buying tickets a few months ago. After reading other reviews, I was terrified it was going to be awful, but we actually had a nice time. It is definitely a low budget set up but there were several cute spots to take pictures, some animals (including beautiful peacocks), a small bounce house, and a few games. There was a single reindeer that you weren’t able to get close to, so calling it a Reindeer Farm is a stretch. It wasn’t busy when we were there so we didn’t have to wait for anything, including pictures with Santa, although the kids weren’t able to sit with Santa so that was a bummer. It’s right next to Bronner’s, which is convenient, and the staff were all very friendly. I think if you are already in Frankenmuth and have little kids it is a fun way to spend 30-60 minutes, but otherwise I’d probably skip it.

It's kind of rough. It cost me $42 for five people and you can't really do anything other than just look at a few animals. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. The cages were very packed full of animals and it's very dirty the place. It looks like it needs a makeover.

As an adult, I had a great time. I can't imagine how much fun this would be for kids. Well organized with friendly staff and a lot of animals to look at! Very cute and well worth the price of admission.

This was such a peaceful and fun stop in Frankenmuth. It was nice and quiet, and the lady who greeted us gave a great introduction to all of the animals—she clearly cares about them and makes you feel welcome right away. For only $8 per person, this is hands down the best deal in Frankenmuth for a family activity. Relaxing, friendly, and a great way to spend time together. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to the Farm Fright Night and it was very disappointing. They moved our time slot by a half hour because they switched people around, even though we had to book tickets ahead of time on the website. The glow maze was just a corn trail with dollar store quality lights and the haunted hayride was boring. The ride was only 15 minutes, not much to see, and there were not many actors. It was advertised as adults and big kids only, yet I don’t think even a toddler would have gotten scared by the lackluster performance. If you don’t scare easily, go elsewhere.

We went for the Sunflower Festival. Arrived early and we rly liked the farm itself, so pretty. The sunflower fields were gorgeous they have a tractor that you ride to the different places in the farm. Music was absolutely great! there were several mobile restrooms in different places around the whole place. There were nice spots for pictures and you get to take 1 sunflower with your ticket (a little over priced🫣). There were several vendors and a small petting area, an inflatable castle for the kids and 2 trucks for snacks and drinks. Also a small area for little kids to play and a kids zip line. Kids under 4 are free and be sure you pay for tickets ONLINE. Staff was incredibly nice! Overall a good experience. *i think tickets might be a little over priced, and they could bring more food options as well?! 🙏🏻

As someone who frequently travels, I often look for outlet malls to stretch my legs, find great deals, grab a meal, and even spend the night. I genuinely enjoy the stores currently at this mall, but expanding the selection would significantly enhance the experience—not just for me, but for countless others traveling this major corridor. With just a few strategic additions, this outlet mall could truly thrive and become a must-visit stop along I-75. Please consider investing in its growth. The potential is already here—it just needs to be unlocked.

Lots of choices all in one area. Good place to get your excercise in while you shop. Most stores are walkable down the main sidewalk with crossing the parking lot. Some you will need to drive to next set of buildings over. This is a place you could easily spend the entire day.

This place is going downhill fast. We come here every year and each time we come here, it takes us less and less time to go through it. They no longer have a Spirit Halloween or Coleman store. The book store and retro store that were here are gone as well. I believe the Bose store is also gone. The only stores left are the Pepperidge farms and Sleeping Tiger as unique stores. Otherwise they have some other basic stores left that other outlet malls have like Nike, Under Amour, and Sketchers. So much of this mall has just been replaced with basic, boring, and very common stores. Not to mention one entire section has been replaced by a Goodwill, antique stores, and a small market. Who is going to a "premium" outlet mall for that? We spent only about an hour here this last time we were there, compared to previous years, we spent half a day here. It's still worth going for some of the unique stores but that's it. I would only recommend going on the way to Frankenmuth but absolutely not as a solo trip unless you are super into expensive clothes.

I just love these stores! You can find anything you need or want in this wonderful outlet , and I'm so thankful for it to be right around the corner from me now! Bless you all!

Great selection of retail outlets available to shop at at Birch Run Premium Outlets! Located in Birch Run, MI, this outlet is just off I75. Lots of parking available with plenty of lighting. A very popular outlet mall, so it can get busy at times, be prepared! Come enjoy a premium shopping experience at Birch Run Premium Outlets!

There are tons of awesome shops in several areas holding anything you need. If you can't find it here, you probably dont need it. There's plenty of parking, some restrooms, and a few places to grab a bite to eat as well as vending machines. The entire area is kept up with pretty well. Along with well-known shops, there are antique shops, art shops and other places to browse. Great variety, pretty good deals all around.

The antique stores here are amazing. The side along the highway near goodwill has multiple different stores. I always start at An Unexpected Treasure Hunt and work my way around

Beautiful day to spend here. My wife and kids had never been before. So many memories were made by them. The people working were friendly, courteous and very helping work information about the buildings and history. Loved being there.

We started building an HO scale railroad layout and thought it might be a good idea to do some research on railroads and older buildings. So off we went to Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad in Genesee County. We purchased our tickets in advance on line. Before entering we walked by 2 beautiful gardens. One was a Monarch way station and the other was by Michigan State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program. The day we went was the 43rd Annual Railfans weekend. What a fun place to visit 😃. All of the people working there were very friendly and helpful. We walked around and looked inside many of the buildings and were able to obtain lots of information for the model train layout. We also did a scavenger hunt and a little village tour. There were model railroad layout presented by several model railroad clubs. If you get an opportunity to visit, do it! We plan on going back and spending more time in the village and will definitely be taking another train ride on Engine #152.

Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad is a great place to visit as a family! They always have cool Halloween attractions and they also have stuff during Christmas as well. Seeing, hearing, and being able to ride on an old school steam locomotive is a real treat as well!

I had a lot of fun here at Crossroads. It was cool and interesting to see all the different shops and exhibits scattered around the place. I espicaly enjoyed the school and the sawmill so I would definitely advise going there. In general, I found it really cool to explore some of the methods of doing things in the past that are just completely different nowadays.

The town is cute, but let’s be honest, we came for the train ride. We arrived over an hour early to get the caboose for the kids and were told the limit was 10 to 11 people. We even split our group so they could have that magical experience. But the conductor added 12 extra people, cramming the caboose so full that kids were sitting on the floor and standing while the train was moving. It didn’t feel safe, and it definitely wasn’t special anymore. The magic, the joy, and the excitement we came for were completely taken away. Our kids were heartbroken while the conductor focused only on the people he added. What’s the point of giving out caboose passes if they don’t mean anything? The magic was gone the moment that train left the station.

Beautiful place. If you live history this is the place. Every single place inside has a lot of tell you, you will find a host waiting in each one and in a very kind way, They will give you a lot of details of everything there, the older that is the person the better that si the story and kindness. My favorites places were the barber shop, the school, lumber, doctor’s office … anyways you need to see by yourself everything there. People extremely kind.

The Halloween event was great! Only thing disappointing is the train was sold out. They said they only run roughly three trains a day. Other than this it was great.

Wow oh wow! Tandem jumping was the most amazing thing ever! The I sky dive team was great they're very safe and made it a very memorable experience! I dove whith Daniel he was awesome!! Thanks again man! You guys ROCK!!!

That was such an incredible first skydive!! We got the Groupon voucher, and the website was easy and straightforward to use for getting scheduled. The day of we showed up just before our scheduled time and registration was easy. Got our instructions, waited a bit for the plane and then 40 minutes later we loaded up and going up. Our tandem instructors were so cool and fun! The jump was unfathomably great!!!! So worth getting the pictures and video as well. We got them back less than 3 hours after we jumped 👌 can't wait to go back again. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!

I had an amazing time, this was my first time ever on a plane at 31 years old and you guessed it i jumped out. The whole crew was amazing from hello to see you again. If you’re Thinking about skydiving don’t hesitate you will find nothing like it. The one and only down fall was it was over too soon, nothing bad to say about the team.

I jumped this weekend with two of my daughters and we had an amazing time! Booking online was easy and the check in process the day of the jump was fast and efficient. Most importantly, our instructors were awesome and we all had a blast. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives!

Went to Sweet Peaces for some vegan eats. Had the lentil soup and the vegan snickers! They were both amazing! The woman who helped us - great customer service! The rest of the Market was busy, and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Many of the kiosk-keepers made eye contact and greeted us as we passed by. A very welcoming experience for us 'out-of-towners'.

I didn't know this was called the Farmers Market, we were on the part called "The Bricks". It is so nice to see downtown revitalized and thriving. We had fun!

Love this new farmer's market, something new every week, and definitely something for everyone. It is a great step up for Flint. Can't wait for our next visit.

First time and i loved all the different things u can find! Plants, food, desserts, bakery, fresh smoothies, etc. I got fresh popcorn and gluten free cookies! And some sourdough. Will def be back love the vibes in there. Theres a big parking lot outside and there’s also sellers.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. Venue and staff are amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an event space with endless possibilities for implementing your own style in your event. The park across the street, as well as the street itself, make perfect places for event photography. Thanks to Janelle, Helen and Karen for making our wedding process magical

A wonderful place with a great selection. I went for veggies. Got just what I wanted. And also got some very tasty strawberry cheesecake. They were busy but shopping and checkout was fast.

This farmers market was a definite highlight of our visit to Flint. There was a large variety of vendors and food, and produce that I have never seen before. The sandwich made of Arepas was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back there if I’m in the area. The only downside of it is that it is open so few days a week!

It's wonderful. The glass blowing demonstration is educational and fun! Many great items and not many people, which makes a great place to enjoy arts.

I was there today and had a very good time. The staff were pleasant. The artwork was magnificent. The food was good. I expect to go back many times, because there is more for me to see.

This museum is located on the quiet and beautiful street of museum campus. Very approachable museum with great art collections. Love the nice staff there.

This is a surprising gem to find in the city of Flint. The FIA is truly an amazing oasis filled with stellar exhibits. The entrance fee is quite reasonable. If this museum were bigger its only local rival would be the Detroit Institute of Art. The one thing this place has that Detroit does not is an adjacent section dedicated to blowing glass. I think its worth the drive from the Detroit area to visit and I believe this is the areas newest modern museum.

A gem of an art museum! For a small town, this is an incredible art museum. The variety of exhibits the day we visited, the incredible quality of various sculptures dispersed throughout the building, and even a life glass making demonstration made for a very memorable visit. The standard that this art museum presented was a very pleasant surprise! Definitely worth your visit if you’re around the area and looking for an enriching experience!

We went to see the “Enchanted: A History of Fantasy Illustration” exhibit, which was great and fun for the whole family. We didn’t know that they had an ongoing glass blowing presentation by the UM-Flint students, so we were all delighted to sit through their expressive performance. Had a wonderful afternoon. Will come back again.

Such a nice museum, loved the exhibits which are very inspiring and intricately put together. Visited on a weekend and the entry was free. Moreover they have art school and different programs for engagement of the visitors. The gift shop had very cute things to shop for. The highlight would be their glass exhibit with exceptional masterpieces!

This theatre is absolutely disgusting. My feet are literally STUCK to rhe floor of theatre 14. I am RIPPING them off the floor everytime I move and it makes so much noise. They're incredibly gross and sticky. I will never come back here. Well continue going to Emagine in Birch run.

I love this movie theater! It's great for going with friends or family, or just hanging out. One of the things I like most is that it has reclining seats that you can lie down in, making it perfect for a relaxed and comfortable movie experience. The screen and sound quality are also excellent, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the film. Plus, the atmosphere is cozy and modern, making it an ideal spot for a night out with loved ones. Definitely one of my favorite movie theaters!

Clean theater, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our movie 🍿🎥 and snacks. Pricing for two at a 5pm movie with a snack package totalled about $50, so not exactly cheap but a lot of fun.

Caught a Monday matinee showing of the new Superman movie in IMAX at NCG Cinema in Grand Blanc, and overall it was a great experience. The theater was very clean and pleasantly quiet—definitely a perk of seeing an early-week movie. The popcorn was fresh (no stale kernels here), and the ICEE machines were working perfectly, which isn’t always a given these days. The staff seemed on top of their game, and everything felt well-maintained. That said, the cost is getting steep. One ticket, a small popcorn, and a large ICEE ran me about $30. It’s a bit of a hit to the wallet for a solo movie trip, even for a matinee. The film itself was solid—great visuals and action—and the IMAX screen really did it justice. Between the spotless theater and the quality snacks, I left feeling like it was worth the outing, but definitely something I’ll treat as an occasional splurge.

overall, a nice place. employees are nice, not so much when it comes to other customers. popcorn is always good and i like that they have butter machines that you can add more if you would like.

It's a nice theater. But they need more staff at the ticket counter. The staff was friendly. Could be kept cleaner around the beverage table, but it wasn't anything horrible. Seating isn't the most comfortable, but there is plenty of it. And it's nice that the arm of the chair can be put up.

The best movie theater in the area. We saw an IMAX movie here, and they did a great job making the entrance more grand than ever before. By this, I mean that they significantly improved the look of the entrance to the IMAX theater. The staff is always friendly, the theaters are nice, and the restrooms are always clean.

My mom-in-law is there and Will join my dad-in-law whom passed away today. Beautiful Resting place! Great people , Above and Beyond who work there. The Absolute Best. Blessings to All.

Both of my parents chose to have their ashes placed in the columbarium wall at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. There is a small compartment with their ashes and is marked with a granite marker. Their location faces a lovely lake and is a beautiful spot. The cemetery is well kept and demonstrates respect and care for veterans.

The Service was beautiful as well as the grounds. Everything is well kept and surprisingly easy to find. I wouldn’t want my dad anywhere else. **We took the flag back home. Just took it for photos for his birthday.***

What a beautiful resting place. I know no one here, but everyone here died for me as an American. It's a profound experience to visit & to see the sacrifice these men & women made. I wonder if there are service animals here as well. Everyone should visit. My visit today has affected me. Sometimes being grateful just doesn't feel like enough.

My parents are both buried here and it is truly one of the most beautiful places.

This is such an amazing resting place for military people I know two people who are buried here the avenue of flags is beautiful with all the flags flying high it's such a memorable site and the water I would just love to be buried here this is an amazing place where lots of people have been buried I recommend visiting

Knowing that my parents are now together at this beautiful cemetery calms my soul. The military ceremony was so moving and made me so proud of my dad and all who’ve served. A phenomenal resting place.

A little more off the beaten path than the other local hills, but a very great place for some winter fun. I honestly think this has one of the nicest lodges around here. Lots of chairlifts and trails for all levels with some fun cut through to challenge you. Friendly staff and fast lift ticket counter. Bathrooms are spread out and clean. The bar area is nice with a good selection and views. Plenty of outdoor seating with a big fire pit. Pro shop fixed my buddy's binding for a very reasonable price

It is a safe place. The Cafe has decent food. Ski equipment is cheap to rent. not a fancy ski resort but we had fun.

We love My Holly. Their ski school is top notch with amazing staff and remarkable instructors. Our kiddos had the luck of learning from Mr. Tom this winter, and he was absolutely fantastic! In a few short hours he had my little guy skiing with confidence and ease. Tom was kind, patient, skillful and honestly a miracle worker as the kids can now traverse all of Mt Holly. This winter we were consistently impressed with quality conditions and friendly wonderful staff. Even on busy weekend days the amount of lifts made for pretty short lines and lots of fun. Mt Holly is a real gem and we couldn't have asked for a better season.

My husband and my son just visited with Collins elementary school for a field trip and they’re still talking about it. Parking was difficult only because it was a huge snowstorm so there were ice patches and the grounds weren’t clear but there’s a lot of parking spaces for the people who come to participate, they said the slopes were amazing that everybody was friendly. The food was goodand we would definitely come back and visit.

While a little further out from Metro Detroit i find this particular hill to be about equal to Pine Knob with a slight edge. They have about the same amount of runs however I find this one is more scenic IMHO. Snow conditions overall are maintained well.

Great hill to start your kids at!!! They do an amazing job at keeping the hill groomed and snow on the hill even if it hasn't slowed.

Beautiful, well-maintained campground. We spent two nights camping in the smaller loop campground. Dog-friendly, quiet and the roads were in very good condition. The bathroom/shower area is very old/outdated and the "hot" water for showers (taken in the later evening) was not to be found. The camp store is a nice plus. The hiking trails were excellent. We wish there was a spot at the lake where our dog was able to swim (if there was, we did not find it). Overall, very enjoyable.

I have been coming here for the past 30 years... since I was a kid. my brother and me grew up riding our bikes around and running through the trails. Now I take my family here and it is just so peaceful. I do wish they would check the bathrooms since other people don't clean up their own messes...but still one of the nicest kept.

Great place to camp w little traffic. There are camp sites right on the lake that allowed campers to tie up a fishing boat easily near. There is a camp store that probably has evey you forgot to bring. Including hand scooped ice cream. The beach is on the opposite side from camping so we had to drive around but it could be an easy bike ride if you'd like.

36 years going here. Last weekend was my last. DNR is more worried about a handicap man fishing, not bothering anyone. Then the drugs, yelling, music so loud i can't sleep. Fishing is part of camping. Cars parked in road couldn't get camper down the road. The lake has just turned into a nightmare with weeds. Can't even float on the water as weeds stop you. The bathroom is not cleaned. There is no place for a handicap person to sit in a shower. Filling up a camper 1.9 gpm is the worst. The water system was not updated as that has been pressure for years. The fill station is so small i couldn't get out without hitting the curb. Poor design. How do you put brand new black top and not level it on an ada site? The list goes on. Our tax dollars wasted, and employees are running people away.

it was a very nice camping trip.. little crowded but was very nice.took a hiking trip, went to the beach,, didn't swim, water don't get tested so I wasn't feeling safe going in.. other than that it was very nice

We spent a weekend, Thursday through Sunday, camping at Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area with our family and had a very enjoyable experience. We used a 30 amp site with a two vehicle limit, which suited our needs well. The campsites are family-friendly and accommodate biking activities for children. The beach was pleasant, with a sandy surface over a firm bottom, and featured a mobi mat near the center for enhanced accessibility. Fishing was excellent. Park staff and DNR personnel were present throughout the weekend but did not intrude on our experience.

Lovely park. Perfect for a bike ride around the grounds. I saw lots of people fishing. Hot showers. They need a dish washing station. Camp hosts are lovely.

Beautiful course with a nice course map. This course is quite challenging as the width of fairway is narrower than other common courses and course map looks designed hard. Also, green is not easy but also fast. So, it's very exciting to make a good point in the course myself. Happy to find this nice course with the scenery view.

Challenging course. Lots of elevation changes and tricky greens for a first time visitor. Can't wait to go back. Nice people and quality piece of property with super views.

Love this course. Fun, scenic, interesting, and fair. One of the most enjoyable places I've found to play since moving to SE Michigan. Heard it's closing permanently to become a hunting grounds, which makes me very bummed.

First time playing here, beautiful course with great scenery. Greens and fairways kept in great condition. A little challenging for newer golfers like myself but that's what makes it fun. Staff is friendly and accommodating, especially their ranger Corey, easily the most pleasant and friendly ranger I've had the pleasure of interacting with.

People a great, rooms have lots of different themes and are fun for all ages. Prices right around the same as most escape rooms. Always a blast and they change things around so you can come back often.

Ideal Escape Rooms provides a great experience from booking, to arrival, to the event itself! Our group loved making our way through the Wild West room. It’s a great idea for birthday parties or bachelorette parties!

I took My daughter and her friends to the Ideal Escape Room for her 16th Birthday. Everyone had a great time. The staff was all really nice and helpful. We even made it out @ 52:33. With a few minutes to spare. (I did take the balloons back to the car before we went in).

What a fun experience! I did Quest for the Throne and our other half did Wild West, so much fun! Well thought out, not too easy, but still fun for everyone!

Had a great time with the family. We were pretty close to beating the room we were in, but I wish the operator hadn’t ruined the ending - I think we would have come back to replay it had they not. We will definitely go again to play other rooms.

Our group of 5 did wild west. Seems like a good room. Booking was easy, figuring out where the actual door to get into the place was the first puzzle, turns out it's on the north side of the building on the back side.once we got checked in the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was enjoyable.
