What really stood out was the variety of dining options from quick bites to full meals, there’s no shortage of places to refuel between shopping. I also appreciated the spacious layout, which made navigating through the mall easy and enjoyable, even during busy hours. Beyond shopping and food, Vaughan Mills has entertainment and family-friendly attractions, making it more than just a retail destination. It’s truly a one-stop spot for a full day of shopping, eating, and exploring. If you're in the area and looking for a well-rounded shopping experience, Vaughan Mills is definitely worth a visit!

Large indoor outlet mall that is quite unique in design in comparison to other malls in the Toronto area. Some outlet stores will offer better discounts and clearance products in comparison to the same stores in other malls. It can be tough to find parking at busy times. They only have 4 J1772 chargers which is not sufficient for a mall of this size. Tesla owners also use them instead of superchargers - go figure.

Very good place to shope branded products at reduced prices. Well ranges of various products are there. I would say very best place with your family and spent whole day. A big food court is there to provide different types of cuisine with comfortable seating spaces.

This outlet mall is one of the best shopping destinations around. It’s a huge indoor mall with a wide variety of stores, from basic everyday brands to luxury names, offering something for everyone. The collections are updated and the outlet prices are definitely worth it, making shopping here a great value. Since it’s fully indoors, we can visit any time of the year without worrying about the weather, which is very convenient. We make it a point to visit at least once a month and always enjoy the experience. A must-visit mall for outlet shoppers!

Probably one of Not the biggest mall if ever been to. It’s so huge. But you can find everything there. We spend almost 5 hours in there and easily took 20000 steps. Good selection of everything. There could be more toilettes though. I don’t wanna walk 10min inside for a pee. Anyway, nice experience

I have been going for a couple of years whether it be with family or friends and I always have a great time. This year was the first time I went in the fall — for Halloween haunt and let me tell you the vibes, decoration were way better. (Also fewer line ups) this year I went to the conjuring limited edition maze and I loved how interactive and fun it was. They did a great job. Do recommend

Cons: Overpriced and overrated. Parking is expensive, and food options inside are mostly unhealthy and way too costly for what you get. The overall experience doesn’t match the high ticket and food prices. Definitely not worth it for what’s offered; 1 out of 5. Pros: I visited Canada’s Wonderland this past summer and spent a full day enjoying both the rides and the water park. It was a hot day, so I started with Splash Works; the water area was lively but not overwhelming. There are several pools and slides for every age, and it’s a great place to cool off. The wave pool was a highlight, and there were plenty of shaded spots and chairs to relax between rides. After the water park, I explored the rest of the park and went on a few of the main roller coasters. The sight of the massive tracks and loops from a distance still makes the park feel impressive every time you visit. The atmosphere is energetic but family-friendly; with lots of music, food stands, and people having fun. I ended the day near the main fountain and mountain area, which looks especially beautiful in the sunlight. The water and landscaping give it a resort feel, and it’s a perfect spot to take photos before leaving. Overall, it was a great summer day; well organized, clean, and full of energy. If you plan ahead and arrive early, you can easily make the most of both the water park and the rides.

My husband and I went for the first time during Halloween Haunt on Halloween because we purchased a gold pass from a different amusement park. We got to try a Beaver Tail - Avalanche flavor and it was delicious! The level of detail that went into designing the Halloween Haunt was impressive. The decorations were awesome, there was specially named and unique food options, and there were different themed areas with actors dressed up in scary costumes. One area there were all zombies and another had clowns. The actors were clearly having a good time scaring people and it was sometimes entertaining to just watch them scare other parkgoers. It was also possible to bypass these areas if you didn't want to get scared. There was a freak show, a fire spinning show, and music performances throughout the night. We didn't opt to buy the extra pass to enter the haunted mazes - mainly because I'm not a fan. I rode a few coasters because there was no wait, but it was quite chilly. It was still exhilarating and a lot of fun. We will definitely be back when it is a bit warmer.

This place is fun, but a bit scary with the height of the rides. It is not for the doubtful patrons. Rides are going upside down over your head as you walk around in the park. Every one should try going to wonderland at least once in their lives. You don't have to buy a season pass, just a day pass will do the trick. However, if you are a lover of these Rides buy a seasonal pass. You can also add meal pass to the mix. It will work out very well the kids love to go to this amusement park 😀 there is everything for everyone from babies to adults. Sometimes you will be entertained with fireworks. Check it out! 🔥

Canada's Wonderland is probably one of the most famous Staples in Ontario to go visit, it's lots of fun. Great place to go spend time with the family. I have memories from this place from when I was a kid and now I bring my own kids, Roller coasters are always my favorite and they have some of the best roller coasters I've ever been on. While this place does get very busy and crowded I have yet to found a good day to go where it's not very crowded Prices are very expensive for tickets and if you don't want to wait in line then you have to pay an enormous amount of money in my book for speed passes and then if you want to ride the big roller coasters for the speed pass you have to pay even more money for on VIP speedpass, The water park has lines just as long as the rides. It is very crowded and busy there as well in the summer, Halloween haunt was lots of fun when I was a kid but after covid everything's changed and from what I hear now you have to pay and buy a special pass just to go into all the haunted houses now because the haunted houses were the favorite part of this event in my book. Although riding a roller coaster in the dark is pretty fun as well

You can’t bring in much from outside, yet security checks are inconsistent—sometimes too strict, sometimes too lax, raising safety concerns. Customer service is lacking; staff rarely smiled or welcomed guests. Ride wait times stretch 1–2 hours unless you pay $179.99 per person for Fast Lane Plus, which doesn’t even include all rides despite the marketing. My kids had a great time, but they weren’t the ones paying. For what I spent in one day, I could have taken a family trip down south. The park succeeds at creating a “fun” image, but in reality, it’s a polished price-gouge. If you want true value and enjoyment, a small-town festival will give you more smiles, less stress, and far better bang for your buck.

I visited the Royal Ontario Museum last week on a weekday, and it was such a fun experience! I’ve always heard good things about the ROM, but seeing everything in person was even better. Since it wasn’t too crowded, I got to take my time exploring the galleries and really enjoy each section. The dinosaur exhibits were super impressive — they’re definitely a highlight. I also loved the cultural displays from different parts of the world, especially the Asian and Egyptian sections. There’s just so much to see that a few hours didn’t feel enough. The architecture of the building itself is also worth appreciating — the mix of classic and modern design makes it feel unique. The staff were friendly, and everything was well-organized and clean. Overall, it’s such a great spot for anyone visiting Toronto or even locals who haven’t been in a while. Whether you’re into history, art, or science, there’s something for everyone. I left feeling both entertained and a little smarter — totally worth it! We will visit again with my family.

The Royal Ontario Museum, Canada’s most famous museum, is located in the heart of Toronto. With its vast exhibition halls and impressive collections, this place stands as a true fortress of culture. Opened in 1914, the museum displays more than 18 million works of art from different regions and time periods around the world. These works are showcased in dozens of diverse galleries such as dinosaurs, birds, the Middle East, China, Egypt, toy soldiers, and world treasures. It’s not possible to explore the Royal Ontario Museum in just a few hours. Therefore, if you have the time, I recommend dedicating at least a full day — or ideally two days — to visiting the museum.

Easy to go with the city pass but if you can become a member, there will be many exhibitions that you will also be allowed to go to. You can easily spend 2-3 hrs just walking around. Some cakes, and beverages are also available on the ground floor for a small break. Some sections were really cool. Especially recommend the gems section. Unfortunately, dinosaur’s section was closed until first week of December.

It was an absolutely amazing museum. The exhibits were nicely curated, the artifacts were lovely. The biggest downside was how noisy it was, there was a live performance in the lobby and it took away from the atmosphere that the museum had, I also wish they made it clear as to which area was heavily kid oriented, or else I wouldn’t have spent so much time on the second floor when I could’ve been on the third floor actually seeing the stuff I really wanted to see and learn about. But that being said the areas they have for kids is very well done and the kids there seemed to be having a great time learning. I loved the Greek and Roman section of the museum and paying to see saints, sinners and lovers was very worth it. Absolutely stunning paintings, you could see the brush strokes and the tiny details on the canvases. The ROM was a lot of fun.

We visited the museum on a snowy Sunday afternoon, there was no waiting for the tickets, 35 CAN/adult person. Staff were friendly, ready to explain and direct. The ground floor included marvelous pieces from China and some from Korea. Last floor for the European and Egyptian cultures. We took more than 2 hours, but we could not visit it all. Beautiful experience for a neat museum

There's a lot going on here. If you are really into museums and want to look at most things then plan to spend four or more hours here. There's dedication to natural history for animals and civilizations. Good assortment of unique pieces. There is a lot of pottery, more than you'd think for sure. The collection of Greek and Roman busts is impressive along with the number of tombs. The dinosaur exhibit wasn't able to be fully seen due to renovations.

Obviously this place has an amazing view. I ordered an old fashioned. It was perfectly made. My food was amazing. I got the multi-course meal that included an appetizer, the main dish, and a dessert. It was definitely on the pricey side. For one person with a good solid tip and of course the alcoholic drink. My total bill was about $160. That said the view is amazing. The service was great. The food was amazing. Absolutely worth every bit of it and it was a great evening to myself with a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend getting reservations and I would also recommend to look and see what time is sunset is and get there about a half hour before

I recently visited the CN Tower with a group of friends on a weekday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We decided to buy our tickets online beforehand, which meant we didn't have to wait in long lines. This definitely helped make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable from the start. The moment we stepped into the lift, the excitement was already building up. The staff in the elevator were not just professional but also incredibly funny and engaging, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to the ride. The fast ascent gave us a sense of anticipation, and the view as we reached the top was nothing short of breathtaking. From the observation deck, the city sprawled beneath us like a living, breathing landscape. The buildings seemed to stretch endlessly, while the cars and vehicles below appeared as tiny moving dots—it's amazing how perspective shifts when you're so high up! The day view was spectacular, offering a clear, panoramic look at Toronto's impressive skyline, and we could see all the way to Lake Ontario. But what really made the experience even more magical was seeing the city transition as the sun began to set. Watching the sky change from golden hues to the deep blues of night, the lights of the city flickering to life below, was truly mesmerizing. One of the highlights of our visit was the chance to see the vastness of Lake Ontario. The enormous water body stretched out endlessly, and you could almost feel the peace that it brought to the bustling city. It’s hard to put into words how incredible it felt to take in such a stunning sight from such a height. While we soaked in the views, we also treated ourselves to some delicious food at the restaurant, which had its own glass floor. Dining while looking out over the entire city, surrounded by the endless sky and twinkling lights, made the meal even more memorable. Everything down below seemed so small and far away—the buildings, the busy streets, even the people—all of it felt like a different world from up there. It was a perfect blend of nature, cityscape, and human activity, all from the comfort of the CN Tower. The whole experience left us with a sense of awe and wonder, and we all agreed it was a memory we’d cherish. Whether you're a local or a tourist, the CN Tower offers a truly unique way to experience the city of Toronto. We enjoyed the beauty of the tower. We opted for the trip to the top. It's a tad overrated. The clouds at the top made getting good pictures a difficult task. The elevator is super crowded, but very fast. The staff members are kind, respectful and helpful. I think going to the observation deck would have been a better option for us. It is lit beautifully at night from the outside. The glass floor and big beautiful images behind it were fun!

My first time experience here was amazing. The walk to the restaurant is a little bit much but once you are in the building it’s actually pretty neat. You go up the sky lift that gives you amazing views of the city and immediately out of the elevator you are guided and seated to you seat. Now I did make reservations that were honored so I’d recommend making arrangements ahead of time, we were there for a birthday and they accommodated my wishes of acknowledging the special with a cute placard and a special desert for his birthday with a cute placard. The food however was 10/10 I had the lamb shank and grits, with a deconstructed Caesar salad. Everything tasted great even my guys food was good he opted for the seafood route with a lobster style meal and Brussels. I can say 10/10 even our waiter was attentive and helped up pick out items and plan our meal accordingly. I missed his name but he was amazing and well wishes to him. I inquired about if there were any semi sweet wines and he recommended me one and even let me sample it ! Of course it was amazing right from Canadian vineyards which was a plus. I’d definitely recommend if you are okay spending a good penny.

We absolutely loved this experience and we're going to come back to do it again. We enjoyed everything about it. We were able to walk up and buy tickets, there was no wait. I was truly surprised by the size of the tower. The views were incredible and there's an art exhibit. I don't want to give it all away but this was worth every penny.

There were so many activities that kept them entertained and excited the entire time. Everything was well organized, clean, and safe, which made it easy for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back — such a wonderful place for families to make memories together!

Ripley’s Aquarium is an amazing place for families. My son loved watching the stingrays — you can see them from above (bird’s-eye view) in open water, just a few feet away. The kids’ section has a small filtration system for play purposes, where children can learn how water moves through the aquarium. It’s educational, fun, and a great way for kids to explore and understand how filtration works. The place is clean, well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for both kids and adults!

Its a really cool, fairly big aquarium. It was a little cfowdwd, but other than that, it was fun. There were so many decorations and things to see, and unique sea creatures. The kids indoor playground looked fun, and all the tanks were very clean, and the creatures were well maintained. The only problem was the food. I there were more fikd options. The only cafeteria type food place only had a couple crowded tables, and barely had anything on the menu. But that wasnt enough to bring my rating down to a 4 stars, because the aquarium is so great. I love this place.

Awesome for all ages. Plenty of seating arrangements for elders. Touching the sting ray is the best thing as a climax kids can have. My kids had an amazing day. The aquarium has a lot of variety of sea creatures . Moreover the way it has been presented is amazing. Information display is very clear and simple. Its worth the money. Memorable experience.

9:00 a.m. Toronto My CityPASS said I could visit Ripley’s Aquarium anytime, so with an hour to spare before my CN Tower reservation, I decided to head inside. I asked the girl scanning tickets how long it usually took to get through. She told me about an hour and a half. It was Monday morning, and the place was completely empty. It was quiet, the kind of quiet that hums in your chest. Just the low music and the faint whoosh of water cycling through the tanks. The blue light made everything look like it was breathing. I wandered slowly, taking in the small faces of the fish and the strange calm that filled the rooms. There was even a “quiet tent” set up for anyone who needed a break. I understood why. If I had another encounter with that sawfish staring at me like it was judging my entire existence, I’d need it too. For a quick stop, it ended up being one of the most peaceful hours of my trip so far.

It was nice, but honestly, $56 for adults and $38 for children is way too expensive for what you offer. There were no glow fish, no dolphins, and not even a dolphin show. For the amount you charge, at least include some impressive or unique marine life that makes the visit feel worth the money. They seriously needs to improve its exhibits or reconsider its pricing it feels more like a tourist trap than an educational experience.

One of the best Aquariums I have ever gone to. Great tour of the water life in Lake Ontario, this place taught me a lot about the creatures in the water. They have a great jellyfish exhibit which has glow in the dark jellyfish under blacklight which was an amazing experience. If you have never visited this aquarium I highly recommend you check this place out!

Beautiful, scenic and relaxing! Stunning views of downtown Toronto en route by ferry to this quaint set of interconnected islands. Lovely boardwalk from Ward’s Island to Centre Island. Clean and lifeguard-supervised swimming area on Centre Island. Cute amusement park and gardens. Spend the day or just a few hours.

Toronto Islands are one of the best places to visit in the city. The view of the skyline from across the water is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Whether it’s summer or fall, the islands are stunning. There are three islands, each with its own charm. You can take a boat to any of them (check the schedule), or grab a water taxi near Harbourfront for a more relaxing ride. The return trip from the island is free even if you didn’t take the ferry. The are a few beaches which are clean and scenic, perfect for summer days. I highly recommend going on a weekday, ideally in the morning to avoid crowds (it can be VERY crowdy on weekends). On weekdays it is quiet, peaceful, and you might feel like you have the whole place to yourself. The best way to explore is by renting a bike through Bike Share. There are lots of them available. There is also a nice boardwalk on the opposite side of the islands (no bikes permitted though). But the best part is of course the iconic view from Centre Island. There are also a few cafes for a quick snack, plenty of picnic spots, lots of water stations. Overall, Toronto Islands are a must-see!

We ended up catching the ferry to Billy Bishop Airport (~10minutes). From there, we walked to Center Island. It was incredibly crowded for a weekday. Prices were high for pretty much everything. The highlights for us were the little farm, where we got to pet the ponies, donkeys, and goats. We caught the ferry back to the mainland maybe 40 minutes after exploring Center Island.

I always have a great time on this island—beautiful nature and delicious food. The only thing I didn’t like this time was that some people were going into the fountain pool, which isn’t allowed. Security should take steps to prevent this.

Visited Toronto Island Park around 3 PM in October with friends. We spent about two hours walking around and watched a beautiful sunset. It was a bit cold, and there isn’t much to do during the colder months besides walking, grabbing a coffee or snack at the small café, or checking out the restaurant that was open. The views of the city and lake were great, but overall it’s a quiet, simple experience in the off-season. Also, in winter the ferry doesn’t reach the main island, so you have to walk about 30 minutes to get there

had a great time at Toronto Islands. The place is peaceful and has amazing views of the city skyline. I went during the air show, and watching it from the island was a perfect choice. The planes flying over the water and skyline made it a great experience. We also had a small barbecue there, which added to the fun. The open space, fresh air, and calm surroundings made it a relaxing day. The ferry ride to the island was smooth and easy. Overall, it was a lovely day,good weather, exciting air show, tasty food, and a perfect spot to enjoy nature while still being close to the city.

Beautiful islands to enjoy some quality time with friends and family. It’s an easy ferry ride or water taxi from the harbours. During weekend a very busy place, so a wait for ferry is long. However if you wish to save time, get a water taxi which is quick for some extra dollars. Overall the island is very clean with great sights and activities for everyone. It’s huge with different sides of it. Centre island is the main attraction for a new person or tourist. Easy to walk around or rent a cycle for better experience. Lots of places to get a quick drink or snacks. Lot of signage’s available and its self explanatory. Best views of Toronto skyline from the islands.

Family and I went to this amazing St.Lawrence Market and it was so many shops inside for whatever you need. It had amazing Food options and so many Meats options also. What are the unique thing is how different culture kind of meat and cheese and fruits that were in this Market. The food was so fresh anywhere you tried to eat because it was made fresh right away. We try the pizza place and it was very delicious. The only reason why I give it a four star is because it would have been nice to see some Halal Options in Market as it had None and we had to find Cheese pizza to eat. Also bathroom could been cleaner! Overall Very Amazing and Unique Market to visit.

If you would love to visit local market as a tourist, this is the place to go! It has nice market atmosphere and I see long queue at many shops in the market by locals. It also cater both raw and ready to eat food. So you can buy beef steak to cook in your homestay or buy ready to eat food. Variety range from meat to seafood to fruits to bread to tarts to desserts and even maple syrup! Beautiful atmosphere and nice yummy food.... A nice brunch place and market!

Had a terrific time spending the day browsing St Lawrence Market. Bought an amazingly creative bouquet of flowers to brighten our hotel room. Had a delicious charcuterie lunch made from purchasing items from various vendors. Dessert was the largest berries we’ve ever seen, sweet, juicy, and delicious! Bought some pork belly to bring home after our trip. Purchased wines, a few souvenirs for our kids, generally had a nice day browsing through the enormous market. For reference I’d say it is about six times the size of Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Pretty much every visitor to Toronto knows this market. It's in a class of its own among public markets. Think about the scale, the vibe, the amazing selection and quality of products. You can even eat and drink while you shop—how great is that? On a nice day (if it's not too cold), the outdoor patio is the place to be. It's spacious, with pigeons wandering around, and another market is just across the street. Picture this: you're eating a lobster roll or pasta, feeding the pigeons, enjoying the scenery, and chatting with friends. What a fantastic scene!

A nice place to visit, lots of options for fancy goods, food particularly seafoods, meats, cheese, backed delicacies, sweets and farm produce. Liked the bright, happy vibe and roaming carefree environment. It was Christmas buying time, it added colourfulness. Good for buying souvenirs too.

This is probably the best market in town for fresh produce and so much more. For example, you can indulge yourself in all things protein in many shops on the main floor. If you feel more adventurous, you might want to check out the seafood stalls as well. My vegetarian friends will also find their delights. This is one of the oldest and simply best places in Toronto for the freshest food possible. I feel blessed to live nearby and be able to take advantage of this privilege to get the food of my choice at anytime. I especially love the lamb chops and marinated chicken breasts 😊 Highly recommended to all foodies living downtown Toronto.

Wonderful experience of the oldest market in Canada! There was a booth that has been there since before Canadas birth! The main floor is where fresh food is sold. The lower level has all the international flavours… will visit again. Lively atmosphere… need sitting area in winter. Has a mini-museum in lowest level where the jail used to be.

I visited on a very hot summer day and unfortunately many of the animals were either hiding in the shade or sleeping, which made it harder to see them. I was especially excited to see the polar bears, but they were resting during my visit. The zoo itself is quite large, and it can easily take half a day to explore all the different sections. I think going in the fall would be a better experience since the weather is cooler and the animals are likely to be more active and visible. Despite the heat, I really enjoyed walking through the different areas, and my favorite part of the zoo was definitely the Africa section with its wide variety of animals and beautiful setting. Overall, it was a fun visit and I would recommend it, but the timing of the season can make a big difference in what you get to see.

In Toronto, the Zoo is one of the most visited attractions for tourists and locals alike, as its focus on entertaining children and young adults means it's always bustling. If you're planning a visit, I recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance to avoid lines at the entrance. However, you can also try buying tickets at the door and get discounted tickets. The Zoo often hosts events at certain times of the year, such as this one for Halloween, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on their social media for more information on opening days. To get there, there's a shuttle service from Union Station and a bus that runs directly to the Zoo. If you're driving, they have private parking. For food, the park is very well-equipped, with plenty of snack bars, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a Tim Hortons. However, you can bring your own food, as the park has picnic tables. The park has excellent facilities for visitors with disabilities, with paved streets without potholes, access ramps, staff support, and accessible restrooms. The park also has lockers, where you can rent and leave your belongings. Along with all the animal facilities, the zoo also has a splash pad that opens in spring and closes in the first weeks of fall, a zip line, a carousel, and souvenir shops. The tour is very cool, and everyone is sure to be delighted.

Toronto Zoo is a great place for families. Even though there is construction happening right now and a few animals are not available to see, it’s still absolutely worth visiting. The zoo is clean, spacious, and well organized. My son enjoyed the kids’ learning areas and interactive displays. Friendly staff, lots of walking paths, and plenty of spots to relax. A great outdoor experience for kids and adults — we’ll definitely visit again!

I haven't been to the zoo in 30 years! My one year old grandchild was in awe and it brought back wonderful memories of visiting with his mother. I loved how clean it was and the hospital was pretty amazing. The staff were most helpful too. A great day had by all.

Overall great place. The only reason I removed a star is because, although I understand many of the animals not being out because November is cold, in the canadian area there were supposed to be 6 animals out and we were only able to see 3 of them. That was definitely not worth the absurdly steep hill we had to climb on our way back. That was the only downside of the experience. Loved the place though.

We hadn't been to the zoo in over a decade. Though we got there relatively early in the day, we ended up skipping the whole Canadian section for two reasons: time, and the sheer amount of walking we would have had to do. The day we went, the Capybaras were also block off (or at least we could not figure out how to get to them). A tad disappointing for one of our party. I think that some of the signs were a tad difficult to follow, even with a map to help guide us. There was also limited staff on the premises with visitors, so there wasn't really anyone we could ask other than other visitors. I strongly encourage the following: 1. Buy your tickets in advance. If buying on location, make sure to show your presto card for a discount. 2. Bring food and water. You will get hungry, and as with all day long trips you will need to refresh and fuel yourself. 3. Bring a good camera. You're not particularly close to any of the animals in outdoor enclosures (understandable), so if you wish to take pictures, make sure you bring your best camera or phone. 4. Make note of washrooms. There are a good number of them, but you do have to walk a good little while between each one.

It is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends. We had a good time seeing all Fall colors and walking around. While animals in captivity is bad, it is still important to understand them and value their importance in our lives. They have so many different species of all kinds of animals. Some animals are always resting so you don't get to see them always. You have to pay $20 for the parking and the tickets are extra. They have plenty of parking though. Definitely recommend visiting once.

We had a great time! Our room was upgraded to a jr suite, which was awesome. It was huge, comfortable and very nice. The pool area and sauna/steam rooms were perfect after a long day of walking the casino floor. The property was really nice too, lots of apple trees down the walking trail.

Amazing resort. I am not much for gambling, but really enjoy the concert venue. Rooms are beautiful, very clean and spacious. Great staff. Food at Match Restaurant is excellent (we didn’t get to try the others). Tim’s on site is open 24 hrs. Lovely shops as well featuring local indigenous artists. Well worth the drive!

The hotel is very nice, and decorated beautifully. Room was large and clean. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, some at reasonable prices. I'm not really a casino person but it seemed ok but hate to see live dealers replaced with machines on craps and roulette.

Rama Casino is definitely one of the best casinos in Ontario. It’s a great spot for entertainment and enjoyment, especially for spending weekends. The gaming platforms are exciting, and if played properly, there’s a good chance of getting returns and having fun at the same time. The only area I’d say could improve is the complimentary drinks — taste-wise, they aren’t the best quality. Otherwise, everything else is excellent. Overall, I would give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Loved this place! The casino was lively and clean, and the staff were super friendly. The concert hall inside is amazing — great sound, comfy seating, and such a fun vibe. Perfect spot for a night of music and entertainment! There is also plenty of free parking around the casino!

My family and I recently visited Casino Rama with our children. My mom and I attended a Film Tour led by Parkwood this weekend. It was so much fun and so well organized! The tour was for one of our favourite shows, The Way Home, which has scenes filmed at Parkwood Estate. The tour took us to filming spots across Durham region and speakers from each municipality would share information about filming in their city/town. We were provided a coach bus, lots of food, and awesome behind the scenes details. People even drove/flew in from the States to attend. It was certainly a day to remember!

Parkwood Estate in Oshawa is a stunning historic venue — every part of the property feels timeless and elegant. The gardens, stone architecture, and natural light make it one of the most beautiful places in Durham Region for proposals, weddings, and portraits. This photo was captured at what many might think is the “back” of the estate, but it’s actually one of the main entrances — and it created the perfect romantic backdrop for a surprise proposal. Beautiful ground with parking but be there early in the morning as it’s busy on the weekends specially during the weekend. There are guided tours or like me I just walk around by myself. Also check if there’s a scheduled events to help your experience. There’s a Tea House/Restaurant and a Gift shop. Also 2 washroom locations, by the gift-shop and just behind the Mansion. The garden is so beautiful and well maintained.

Really beautiful place! Definitely take the tour — there’s so much to explore inside the house. It’s fascinating to see how the wealthy lived in the 1920s, with features that many of our modern homes still don’t have. What stood out most is how, when you have money, everything can be custom-made exactly the way you want it. A must-visit for history, design, and architecture lovers.

The garden & surrounding areas were nice, well maintained; the washrooms clean ! The tea restaurant was just regular, had other expectations like tea in Victorian times ; the website it said you can enter the house, then when we got there found out there is a fee around $20 per person and is only scheduled for certain times; parking was free

An unforgettable experience at Jungle Cat World! This place is absolutely amazing and brought so much joy to my son Samy, memories that will last a lifetime. Samy has a rare genetic disorder, and the generosity, kindness, and warmth shown by everyone here truly touched our hearts. A huge thank you to Candice, who made our Behind the Scenes experience so special ; her passion and care for the animals (and for people) shines through in everything she does. And to Kory, whose big heart and kindness in the office made us feel so welcome from the very start. The whole team is genuine, caring, and full of love for what they do. The Behind the Scenes experience was simply magical we got to feed lions, pet a wolf, hug a fox, and feed lemurs! My kids got plush animals from the souvenir shop that they’ve been hugging nonstop they’re already inseparable with them ❤️ We can’t recommend Jungle Cat World enough. It’s more than a zoo, it’s a place full of heart. We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying at the on-site lodge, especially since guests can visit the park after hours and see how the animals are at night. A must-try for families and animal lovers! 🐾

We had such an amazing time, the behind the scenes experience was a dream come true! If you're looking for a fancy zoo, this is not the place for you. BUT if you are looking for a place where you can tell the people love their jobs and the animals they work with this is the place. You get up close with the animals without spending a fortune. You don't have to hope you will see the animals because they are right there, they even have animals just walking around like Mikey the donkey and beautiful peacocks. This place is definitely a hidden treasure. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a different kind of animal experience.

Had a blast with the kids! We got to watch the lions and wolves be fed, interact with the free roaming alpacas and donkey, and the bunnies were asking for pets. The peahen and chicks were shy but still came around. The playground was a lot of fun for the kids. The food there was good and well priced. I would highly suggest a visit.

Friendly, helpful staff and the zookeepers feeding the animals were informative and entertaining. They mentioned they act as a sanctuary to accept any animals which other zoos did not plan to have and cannot accommodate. Can bring in your own food and drinks hut don’t feed them to the animals. Lots of shaded benches to sit and eat. There are tiki umbrellas providing shade for the tables outside the restaurant. Also there are many tables and chairs in the area next to the restaurant in the covered area. Enclosed areas are small for the large lions, tigers, pumas, etc. but animals looked healthy. Peacocks, ducks, geese, alpacas roam free around the zoo. Can buy food to feed the birds and alpacas. Fun playground for kids with climbing structures, mountain with tunnels, slide and squeaky, vintage metal teeter totters.

This past weekend we visited Jungle Cat World for a behind the scenes experience. My father and son participated while my daughter and I followed along and explored the rest of the zoo. The staff were INCREDIBLE in making sure we felt welcomed and educated on the experience we had paid for. The tour guides were exceptional!! They helped to take a ton of photos so my dad and son have memories to share and show the rest of our family. It was so much fun, and a highly recommended gift to give someone!! We picked any 3 of the massive list of animals they had, and the staff were more than accommodating if we wanted to change our minds the day-of. We will definitely be back, especially for another behind the scenes.

The park is amazing for a day out with family. The kids play area has different sections for different age groups. The splash pad is also very nice for the kids to enjoy. The zoo area is great with a lot of animals to see. I had never seen a sloth before. The parking and zoo are free here. They do accept donations though. All in all a great place to see a lot of things and relax in the park.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Peterborough Zoo. It’s such a nice place to spend a few hours, and the best part is that it’s free to enter. The zoo is not huge, but it has a really good variety of animals, and everything is well looked after. The enclosures are clean, and you can tell the staff care about the animals. My favorite part was watching the monkeys and the big cats – they were so fun to see up close. The walking paths are easy to follow, and there’s plenty of space to just relax and enjoy nature. It’s also a great place for kids, with the playground and picnic areas making it feel more like a family park than just a zoo. Parking was easy, and the whole place felt safe and welcoming. Overall, it’s a hidden gem in Peterborough and definitely worth visiting.

Riverview Park and Zoo is such a great spot, and the best part is that it’s completely free! The zoo itself is pretty good with a nice variety of animals, but what really stood out for us were the kids’ play areas. They’re awesome — lots of space to run around and different structures to explore. My 3-year-old especially loved the long slide, which quickly became the highlight of our visit. It’s a perfect family outing spot with a good mix of animals, green space, and fun for the kids. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a great spot to take the younger kids. Our 4yr old grandson enjoyed the animals and then a little play time in the park. They do have a splash zone area as well. There is no fee to enter and enjoy all it had to offer. A couple public washroom areas however the line up were a turn off. One suggestion if I could offer is to have the screening windows cleaned maybe more often throughout the day. We really had no contact with staff . You are basically on your own . I do recommend it for the kids as it gives plenty of options to entertain them!

Nice park and zoo in Peterborough. Perfect place to bring your kids and family. There are kids play area, water splash pad, zoo and ample parking. Lots of picnic tables as well if you plan to have lunch or dinner after some exciting moment with your kids. This park also has a free zoo with lot of animals to see. Kids will love it for sure. Donation to the park is appreciated as they have to maintain everything for free. The park and every place was maintained very well. Everything was clean. The splash pad water was not too cold which was good and convenient for the kids. There is a parking and access area towards the river but the parking was closed when we visited. Overall very pleased and definitely recommended.

Wow, this place is small but so many animals to see. Plus, there is a train ride. That ride was closed today but we will make sure to go again, the following year. And the animals are so cute. There's otters, camals, sloths, llamas, ducks, snakes, just to name a few. There's a splash pad, play area for the kids, not too much walking. Plenty of pinic areas. The size is really good. Will go again.

We had such a wonderful day at Cobourg Beach! The weather was absolutely perfect — sunny, warm, and with just the right breeze coming off the lake. The beach itself was clean, well maintained, and very family-friendly, which made it an ideal spot for a relaxing day outdoors. The sand was soft and golden, perfect for walking barefoot or building sandcastles. The water was clear and refreshing, and it stayed shallow enough near the shore for the kids to play safely for hours. They had an amazing time running around, splashing in the waves, and making new friends. There were plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the view, whether you wanted to spread out a blanket, set up chairs, or just stroll along the shoreline. The atmosphere felt peaceful yet lively — families, couples, and groups all enjoying the sunshine without it ever feeling too crowded. We also appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was, from the beach itself to the nearby restrooms and picnic areas. Parking was easy to find, and local cafes and ice cream shops nearby added to the experience — perfect for a quick bite after swimming. Overall, Cobourg Beach is a beautiful, welcoming place for families and anyone who loves the lake. We’ll definitely be coming back soon — it’s one of those places that leaves you smiling long after you’ve left.

The area is very family-friendly, and the nearby washroom facilities are clean and conveniently located, which adds to the comfort of spending a full day at the beach. Whether you’re looking to relax, have a picnic, or splash around with the kids, Cobourg Beach is a fantastic choice!

Nice beach downtown Cobourg. The sand is soft and brown. Beach is very clean. Parking is just beside. It's 5$ / hour. Water is a bit cold, very nice place for young kids. We were there for the weekend. The marina is just on the other side. Also there is a camping site just behind the beach. You can easily go grab something to eat from a restaurant nearby, in a easily walkable lap of time.

Visited here recently for the first time and my kids had a blast. They loved the clear shallow water and clean sand. There is also a park and splash pad to enjoy and wash the sand off. However the water does seem to shut off early in the evening. There's a convenient path for wheelchairs or stroller. My kids say this is their new favourite beach!

For those looking to escape downtown and explore other cities near Toronto and beyond, Cobourg Beach is a great option. The city is about an hour and 20 minutes from Toronto, and has a good road network. There are many paid parking options, but they're all very busy. There are also paid street parking spaces, which are also very busy, so you might have to drive around for a few minutes to find a spot if you're looking for something closer to the beach. Parking usually costs $40 Canadian dollars for 8 hours. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, and there are signs warning you of this, so be aware. Barbecuing is not allowed on the beach; there are camping and parking areas for that; read the instructions on the city website. There are some public restrooms scattered throughout the city, but depending on the time of day, they can unfortunately get quite dirty. The beach restroom has changing tables. The city has many restaurants and tourist attractions, such as the city hall. For those who prefer to stay farther from the main beach entrance, pay attention to the signs indicating a reserved beach or residential area, as homeowners are always there to point this out (I don't know how the law works, but it's good to know). For visitors with disabilities, the parking lots near the beach have designated spaces for those with disabilities. The beach path has a rubberized surface for wheelchairs, canes, and walkers. It's worth a visit, as well as the small waves and crystal-clear water.

This beach has only gotten better over the years! It’s surprisingly clean despite the numerous visitors… we did not notice any litter. Even the porta potties are clean. And even with so many people enjoying the beach, it never felt crowded or chaotic. Police and ambulance are on sight. The sand on the beach is so soft, and there is no seaweed along the shore. There are plenty of food trucks on site now, and they even have bouncy castles! The splash pad was a hit for our little guy, and the two little playgrounds also provide added amusement for kids. Definitely worth the drive from Toronto—we will happily visit here again!

A beautiful and peaceful beach in Ontario, perfect for a relaxing day. The water is clean, the sandy shore is soft, and it’s great for swimming on warm sunny days. Right next to the beach is Victoria Park — a large green space with plenty of picnic areas, a splash pad, and children’s playgrounds. There’s also a wide, scenic boardwalk by the harbour that’s perfect for walking or just enjoying the view. Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo visitors during the summer!

Very nice, cool building. “Did you know?” The Big Apple is the largest apple shaped structure in the entire WORLD! I think The Big Apple houses many apple themed products such as apples, (i think) apple pie, apple bread, and more! The washrooms are super cool themed and very clean. One of the sinks in the men’s bathroom, I believe the one closest to the door on the left when you enter, had really strong water pressure like a laser. There’s also a good amount of food trucks and ice cream too outside, as well as a sweets section in the building.

How cool is that? There’s endless possibilities of snacks and treats with apples. The Big Apple is such a vibe, goes to show how much you can do with one fruit. There is every kind of apple treat you can think of, pies, donuts, cider, candy apples, you name it! The petting zoo is cool too and the whole place just feels like the perfect little road trip stop with the family or friends. 100% worth it! 🍏

Everything was nice here from the freshly baked pies, donuts, chocolate, fudge and coffee. Cashier's nice and friendly. Over all the place is kept very nice and clean as well as the bathrooms. I have to admit the food that they serve was not great from the chicken fingers, fries and wraps. I was hungry so I ate the tasteless Caesar wrap. The turkey and cheddar sandwich was super disappointing due to a processed patty. The burger and hot dog was edible for the kids. Not sure about the oil they used, the fries and chicken was not enjoyable, even the kids couldn't eat it with ketchup. I figured the next day to re heat the fries in the air fryer they had a weird smell and taste. I threw them all out. I would not recommend the items I purchased at all. It was very disappointing $70 food purchase for 5 meals.

We swung by The Big Apple for what was meant to be just a quick stop, and wow, what a mistake! This place is seriously fun and has so much more going on than just the giant, iconic roadside attraction. We actually tried to come during the summer for the petting zoo, but by the time we finished with the animals, the big store was already closed. I'm so glad we got the chance to go inside today! I didn’t get as many photos as I wanted because we were too busy running around, but trust me, the main store inside is huge. It’s not just a gift shop; it's packed floor-to-ceiling with local jams, regional treats, amazing pies, and all sorts of fun novelty items. My quick stop turned into an hour instantly. If you're planning a trip, prepare to lose some time! You could easily spend 2 to 3 hours here just browsing, grabbing some delicious fresh-baked goods, and exploring the whole area. It’s a great spot for families or anyone needing a memorable, delicious pit stop. Highly recommend, but definitely don't rush it like we did!

You can really feel the passion of the owner in keeping The Big Apple thriving. The place offers a wonderful variety of food, freshly baked products, candies, and cider — all showcasing its lively spirit. With excellent parking for both cars and tour buses, it has truly become an iconic must-visit stop along Highway 401 heading east.

Great place to visit with your family and friends. They have a little bit of everything, food, gift, bakery, candies and even an pet zoo. The food was super tasty and the portion were very good, we were super impressed and satisfied with the flavour and prices of everything.

This place is a worthwhile pit stop for long travels but I do not recommend it as a travel destination (if that makes sense). The place has got every necessary thing a pit stop station would have but make it all apple. There is also a small restaurant located at the back of the grocery area with outdoor seats. The shop stands outside were closed when we visited on a weekday afternoon, however. 🥐🥪 pastries were freshly made and were enjoyable but some may find it a little too sweet. ___________ Upon exiting the store through the back door, you will see the Big Apple to your left, and next to it are some apple trees. To the left, there is a mini-putt activity for free and a ramp to exit the building. ___________ You can enter the apple through the side entrance. There are a total of 3 flights of stairs to access the very top part of the apple. It is spacious, dusty and ventilated by 2 electric fans on the second floor. There are also a few benches on the second floor. Overall, it is such a beautiful place to stop by and keep the morale of a long trip.

Very fun local amusement park, featuring the world's oldest continuously operating roller coaster! A bit like taking a step back in time, Seabreeze doesn't have a 6ft mouse, on-site hotels, or fine dining. It also lacks $95 ticket prices, massive lines, and crowds that are actually town populations. What Seabreeze delivers aplenty is small-town amusement park charm and family fun. The rides vary from typical carnival rides, to those appropriate for small children (including a beautiful carousel), to thrill-seekers' delights. The water attractions range likewise across parkgoers of different sizes and swimming levels. The food is largely old-fashioned, amusement park fare--think pizza and hamburgers, with a wide variety of snacks. For healthier or vegetarian options, it's likely best to bring your own cooler, which is an option embraced by park rules. (Just remember to leave the glass at home!) The water park, in particular, can be a bit difficult for those with mobility challenges, but most of the park is fairly accessible. The smaller size and occasional breathtaking lake views help keep Seabreeze manageable for those with sensory processing difficulties, but as with any kid-frequented area, I suggest earplugs. Shaded picnic areas are also available, and these provide some relief from sun and crowds.

We visited Seabreeze in early August(2025) and this was the most fun we had as a family in a long long time. We have been to various amusement parts but none of them was enjoyed by everyone in the family as some of them are good for small kids and others for big kids and few for adults(some only for big kids and adults). However Seabreeze stood out as it was great fun not just for my young one and teenager but also me and my wife. we spent a good 9 hours there and want to go back again and will probably do so as soon as we can. The water park and all rides are lot of fun, the mini circus/stunts were a pleasant surprise. Overall staff are cordial and helpful. Decent food options on premises which are priced decently as well. Only downside in the entire experience was that they were only accepting cash for lockers which was a bummer, not sure if this was a temporary situation. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed this place and hope to visit again.

I just can’t tell you how much I love this place. I lived 2 miles from it in 1978, and when I went back to visit, it was almost like stepping back in time. There were plenty of newer rides, but the classics were still there and unchanged. A perfect place for a family to enjoy a day. Thank you Seabreeze, for bringing back such wonderful memories and making me feel like a kid again…

We had such a great day at Seabreeze! The kids had an absolute blast on the rides and water slides, and we were really impressed with how clean and safe the park felt. The lines moved quickly, which made it easy for everyone to enjoy more rides without a long wait. The only thing that would make the experience even better would be if there were rules about people leaving their belongings on the picnic tables to “reserve” them. We had a tough time finding a place to sit and eat even though many tables were sitting empty with items on them. Aside from that, everything was wonderful and we’ll definitely be back.

Ordered tickets online and used codes and only paid 102$ for me and my two kids to visit on a Wednesday for the entire day. Open 11am to 8pm. Waterpark 12 to 7pm. Tons of things to do. Lots of staff and helpful employees.

Kid friendly all ages. Large enough for the day without being overwhelming. Lockers start at 1$ per open and take quarters. We recommend water shoes as the anti slip on pavement and pool floors is rough on the feet. You can leave shoes at the bottom of water slides and collect after you come off. Parking is free. Park is spotless every morning to start the day. If you buy tickets online you can save 3$ per ticket. They have dippn dots ice cream starting at 7$ You can't take phones in pools or water slides. Lines are standardly short if it's not a Saturday or holiday weekend. On a Sunday 0-10 minutes wait for most rides. Water slides take longer. What appear to be short lines don't move fast. You can bring your own food and drinks in. No glass bottles. Sunglasses allowed on rides and slides at your own risk. Lazy river was cold water. Food options available, but nothing exciting. A classic favorite for 3 decades for my family.

I've been coming here for 35 years. The only thing that seems to change are the People. Lol. The "Ride-Waiting Lines" take Forever to ACTUALLY get to the Ride itself. By the end of the day, We Counted how many times we got to Actually Ride on Coasters/Water Slides and it was only 9 times. We were there from Open until Close. Overall, Satisfied but Not.

The outlets beach is the most popular, with it's expansive, two-kilometre-long shoreline, soft, white sand and rolling waves, thousands flock here each summer. 750,000 of them, in fact. A day-use-only beach, you're required to book your visit in advance to guarantee entry, but it's worth it. There's a restaurant on site and many washrooms and changing rooms nearby. Plenty of parking but get there early for a good spot.

Sandbanks Provincial Park is an amazing spot for a picnic, a relaxing day at the beach, and swimming. The beach is entirely sandy with no rocks, making it ideal and comfortable for swimming. To enter the park, you’ll need to reserve or register in advance. The park is well-equipped with change rooms, bathrooms, and plenty of parking. There’s also lots of space to sit and relax near the water, whether you’re sunbathing, snacking, or just taking in the view. A perfect getaway for a summer day!

So beautiful. The camp sites are nice. Happy to hear the comfort station is getting an upgrade. Though I’ll doubt they will change the footprint, more stalls are needed. The bathroom is always busy with its proximity to the beach and all the camp sites. The sunsets are gorgeous. We always have a wonderful time here. Highly recommend!

A stunning provincial park. The park itself is quite big. They have two park stores, a few trails and lots of beach space. We only stayed for a day but the campsites looked nice as well. Lots of friendly staff and endless beaches to explore.

Had a beautiful day at Sandbanks today. Made some great memories with family. Playing in the sand and in the water. The water was fantastic! Loads of parking and space on the beach. Highly recommend it if you haven't been.

This was a wow experience, Desert in Ontario and I really mean it, miles of desert around, I went early morning like 9.30 AM, ensure to reserve a day pass from Canada Parks website, the beaches have basic facilities- clean washroom and changing rooms, lot of benches etc, and parking is near to the beaches.

Today was a wonderful day at the Dunes Beach!! Blue sky, clear water, not too busy for a summer Friday, and a positively awesome experience. We have been to Outleat and Lakeshore Beaches in previous years, and even then, this park does not disappoint! Waves can be fun, but wind gusts were only up to 15km/h instead of 40km/h, which made it suitable for paddleboarding on the water. It's about 500 meters from Dunes Trail parking to the shore. However, paddling on the shore is much easier for finding beach space than treading on the deep, hot sand anyway! The beach is so nice and clean despite all the negative fishy news circulating on social media. Be ready for sand, lots of it! We are planning for more trips this summer!

Cool to see IF you're already in the area. There are no hiking trails and really, no water access. Don't waste your time paying for parking! You only need a few minutes to view Lake on the Mountain and Lake Ontario! Parking payment was difficult online and the minimum was $3 for 2h. We were there about 15 min! Lol!

Amazing location. Take the ferry to get there - it’s free to ride and is very picturesque. Then buy maple syrup from Veder’s Farm.

A cool park where you can see Lake Ontario and then Lake on the Mountain around 60m above that (you really understand the name when you see it). I’d say it’s probably not worth a long drive but definitely worth a stop if it’s on your way. A new viewing deck is being built currently

Good Things 1. Great location, really close to downtown and the 1000 Islands and even ferries. 2. You can easily walk to a lot of nearby spots. 3. The housekeeping and room service staff were very nice and helpful. 4. One of the staff even brought me a duvet and set up the couch bed for me, which I really appreciated. Bad Things 1. The balcony and chairs were not clean at all. 2. We booked two rooms and asked to be on the same floor, but they didn’t arrange that. 3.The breakfast was too simple and not worth it. Better to skip it and grab something from a local café instead, especially if you’re young and want something better. 4. I couldn’t connect my phone to tv! They need new tvs, they are outdated.

This is a great location Easy to area to walk around Loved having a balcony. Stayed on the Riverview side on our way to Ottawa and the Harbor view on our way back to Toronto. Preferred the Riverview. Think it was a bit cheaper too. If one's preference is to look at the docked boats pick the Harborview Stayed 3 nights going and then 2 nights . The one disappointment was we left the sign out to please do the room and went out for the day. Left at 10 am and came back at 5pm. Room was not done. Sign still on the door. Just wondering why there are those signs if someone doesn't come. Really needed towels and garbage removed The breakfast offered is a plus.. Great choice of food and great staff working there in morning.

Excellent location with beautiful lake-view rooms and relaxing amenities. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the pool area was very pleasant. The bar was a highlight, especially the cozy tables with fire features. The downside was the restaurant: prices felt high and the food didn’t meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, great stay for the views, pool, and bar; consider dining off-site for better value

We had a nice visit to Kingston on a late August day. We had a suite with a balcony and water view which was great. The room was clean and the view was stunning. We also had dinner at the Wharf and Feather restaurant out on the patio. The portions were quite tasty and large. We had the tuna tacos and fish and chips.

The hotel’s public reply to my earlier review is misleading. At check-in, we clearly informed the front desk that we did not use or need the car park. We never entered the carpark, which can be verified by CCTV footage. Yet, the hotel still charged us twice for parking (CAD 33.90 × 2) and later admitted the mistake in writing. They only refunded the charges after I escalated the case to IHG head office and posted two Google reviews — not before. Prior to that, all my emails and calls were ignored for weeks. Instead of taking full responsibility, the hotel’s public reply now tries to distract from their own admitted errors. They tried to imply that I was obliged to pay. This experience shows extremely poor communication and accountability. Guests should double-check all charges carefully.

The cleanliness of the room I was in wasn't up to 4 star standards. The sink has a buildup of grime under the lip. Just gross. There were fingerprints on the doors smudged and grimy. The bathroom was dusty and the door had not been cleaned in a while along with the dusting and cleaning in the washroom. The clean up staff were in the hall with a multitude of carts at 9am check out day. I found this not in keeping with a four star experience. The pool area has no wash up area. It has a shower area with no privacy at all. It is obvious that the vacuuming in the room was done overall with zero attention to detail. The sliding door had fingerprints on it. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that I got texts for unnecessary promotions at the hotel. I was also advised that parking is an add on costing $30 more per day. Front desk staff are very nice.

Nice downtown hotel with updated rooms with plenty of space, a mini fridge and a microwavd and a great location close to the cruises but since it's close to restaurants and bars, the noise levels were intense at times in the hotel and outside. The ac/heater is noisy when it kicks on and the pillows were way too soft. The parking pricing is ludicrous at $30/ night for hotel guests and $40/day for non guests. Service for check-in and checkout was simple and effortless.

Fabulous place to head up to watch the sunset. We went on the haunted walk at night which was relatively cool except we had a young person as part of the tour maybe 10 or 11 years old who didn't follow any of the rules repeatedly made noise and Flash their flashlight which really ruined the ambience and the parents weren't doing much about it. Lots of cool spiders though!

Good place for half day trip. Although, entry ticket is high compared to fort size and being national heritage size. Many restaurants inside the fort. Fort itself is well maintained and you can get free tour guide who explains different areas. Good collection of old guns, swords and some old cannons. Actors performing soldiers are very good and take their parts very active and seriously. They have good performances going on entire day which includes canon firing and gun firings. Overall good walk around the fort.

Amazing history and a wonderful tour! We watched the guards marching and rehearsing, and they demonstrated the use of musical instruments, signals, and drums — we even had a chance to play the drums ourselves. The guards also demonstrated the firing of guns. The fort has many rooms on display, and the gift shop offers freshly baked bread from an on‑site oven. It was a very educational and memorable experience!

Fort Henry was such a cool experience! The historic atmosphere, the costumed guides, and the live demonstrations (like the cannon firing and marching) really brought history to life. Great views over the lake and Kingston too. It’s fun for both adults and kids – especially the museum section and the tunnels. Totally worth the visit if you're anywhere near Kingston!

A fantastic experience that is well worth the visit. Tickets are a little pricy but its made up for with fantastic staff that are all very knowledgeable about the fort and the history of it plus the live drills they perform. On top of this the views offered from the fort are breathtaking. I'd argue this is thee place to visit for anything historical about Kingston if you only had one place you could visit, this would be the one I would choose hands down.

To be fair before I begin, when we visited we were in the middle of a crazy hot period in the summer (heat warnings were in place) and a lot of Fort Henry is open and exposed, so our enjoyment may have been muted a little bit. Aside from the heat however, the tour and experience was very satisfying. The guided tour was somewhat informative although our guide seemed a little newer as he didn’t have answers for all questions asked. The costumed staff were a nice touch, however more context on who they were or what their function was during the period was would have been nice. Bistro and shops seemed out of place and not fitting with the historical significance of the Fort which detracted from the visit. More information and context would have been nice.

This was first time back at Fort Henry since I was a kid back in 1996. The fort still looks the same. This was also my family’s first time visiting. We did the guided tour & the guide was a young lady who I can’t remember her name was so very knowledgeable, took time explaining everything in simple terms for the kids to understand. Only downside was the group was very large so it was a bit hard to hear her voice & see some of the places inside the fort. The canon firing was awesome to see & so was the other demonstrations & the final drum parade was amazing. One other thing the guide or the ticket agent didn’t mention was to stay off the canons so don’t climb on them or you will get yelled at by the staff as it happened to a few people.

We had a beautiful day for a boat ride to Boldt Castle, and it did not disappoint! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The Castle itself is breathtaking — it’s been preserved in pristine condition. I didn’t see a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. It was so nice to explore at our own pace with the self-guided tour. Tip: Once you pass through Customs but before your ticket is scanned, grab one of the program guides available in both English and French — it really helps you navigate and learn about each area. The Gift Shop is also a must-visit for a great selection of souvenirs. Walking through the Castle was a humbling experience. It’s incredible to see the love George Boldt had for his wife, Louise — keep an eye out for the heart motifs throughout the décor. Wherever he could, he included them, and it adds a really touching layer to the visit. This tour is best suited for adults or interested young adults. There isn’t much to engage children under 13. Overall, I highly recommend making time for this excursion. It’s a perfect blend of history, romance, and stunning views.

When you go online to buy the tickets the very short ferry from the yacht house (where you park the car) to go to Boldt Castle (which is on its own island) is free. Do not be scammed by hotel people saying you can get a discount if you buy the tour. Unless you want to do a tour of the other island and go up and down the water. Otherwise the $32 entrance fee to the castle includes the yacht house, the ferry and the castle. All self guided. Download app to listen. The upper level still are not complete, but renovations are planned. The low levels and some rooms on the second level are renovated and looked really nice reflecting the actual blueprint. The grounds are gorgeous flowers everywhere, and beautiful colorful plants. Every window you look out of in the castle you can see a view of the water, which is amazing. You do get to go to the unfinished upper levels just to see what things look like, but really not much there. A small gift shop on the second floor… relatively moderately priced items. A nice way to spend the afternoon. I think the entire thing took maybe around two hours. Parking is also free. You do have to walk on gravel from the parking lot to the yacht house. So if you have walking disabilities, please note that it’s at least six 700 yards away. You can buy tickets online and save the QR code for each ticket purchased. The little fairy that goes back-and-forth from the castle comes every 15 minutes. When you’re at the actual castle, there’s a very small store that sells things like hotdogs/hamburgers if you are hungry. A very lovely home and will definitely be returning in the future to see what other renovations they have.

We visited Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House on June 29, 2025, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the views of the St. Lawrence River from the castle are absolutely stunning. We took our time exploring each floor, and the restored rooms and historical displays gave us a fascinating look into the Boldt family’s story and the castle’s unique history. The Yacht House was a surprise highlight – the collection of historic boats and the architecture itself were impressive, and the staff there were friendly and knowledgeable, answering our questions with genuine enthusiasm. We enjoyed walking around the docks and seeing the craftsmanship of the old wooden boats up close. There is plenty of space to wander, take photos, and enjoy the river breeze. It never felt crowded, and we appreciated the relaxing pace. The ferry ride to and from the castle was smooth and added to the experience with scenic views of the islands. If you are in the Thousand Islands area, Boldt Castle and the Yacht House are must-see attractions that offer a perfect mix of history, architecture, and natural beauty. Highly recommend spending a few hours here to take it all in.

It was so beautiful!! The staff were extremely nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. We even came upon a proposal at the shell fountain and she said yes! They looked so happy. The boat ride is very short and the docks easy to navigate. The paths are kept clear of debris and the map was easy to follow. I would highly recommend!!!

This place was so amazing. Every single staff member was so sweet. It was just breathtakingly beautiful!!! The gardens, the inside, the outside, you could easily spend an entire day here! My only complaint was that the gift shop was kinda lame. I definitely want to renew my vows here in a few years.

We visited Boldt Castle in the summer, and it was beautiful. We loved the landscaping and the architecture, but the true story behind the "home" was heartbreaking. Walking through the castle felt like trespassing in a shrine to a life that never got to be lived. If you're a Downton Abbey or Gilded Age fan, you don't want to miss this one!

Such an amazing piece of history to visit and story to learn. They have restored a good portion of the castle and other buildings and the grounds are also beautiful. What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful summer afternoon. We were lucky it was not too busy and were able to appreciate the beauty of Heart island. We did a 5-hour excursion from Rockport which included a 3 hour stop at the island. Well worth it!

Very interesting and informative museum that was once used during cold war and has jot been used since the early 90s. It has level 4 underground, seems simple from outside but it will bring you to new dimensions.

The amount of Canadian history crammed into this facility is amazing. It’s extremely well laid out and very very informative. We learned a lot about the Cold War era from the Canadian perspective. I highly recommend this facility. The staff were very friendly and the price is quite reasonable.

I’ve visited some pretty unusual places before, but this one ranks near the top! The sheer scope of this “secret” facility — built in less than 18 months back in 1959 — is absolutely mind-blowing. The Diefenbunker offers a fascinating glimpse into Cold War history, and it’s incredibly well-preserved. Our tour guide, Graham, a retired CSIS IT professional, was a superb storyteller. His anecdotes, humour, and passion really made the experience come alive — the perfect guide for a place that was never supposed to exist! If you’re anywhere near Ottawa, this is a must-see.

This is a great activity. An amazing piece of Canadian history. More than a museum considering the facility was actually in service up until early 1990s. It is a huge complex and there lots to see, and get lost. I would recommend a guided tour, but planning enough time before or after to roam around on your own too.

Great museum, I've been coming to this area for decades and only last year found our how close the bunker was to us. If you like history museums then this one is a must see. Mostly intact and well preserved, it will take about 3 hrs to walk, see and read the contents of the 4 floors. Lots of free parking and you can go have an awesome lunch at the Cheshire Cat just down the road.

This is trip to the past to understand better today’s events. Exiting walk trough the rooms where could be made so important decisions. It has much information about Cold War and the world of those years. Great museum which has to be attended!

Absolutely awesome tour! The bunker is in a time warp and the guided tour was extremely insightful on how soldiers and high command dignitaries as well as commanders operated in the bunker. The technology of running air and water systems was out of this world for the era of time. I would highly recommend the tour and a must see when visiting the Ottawa region! 10 stars if I could give it!

$5 tour is worth doing if you have a short time to visit but definitely could spend a whole day here! The cafe is affordable and the outside patio is a good break from the intense subject matter. The veteran's exhibit is a quiet place to contemplate in between learning about war as well. The building itself is a work of art along with the many pieces inside. Go downstairs to see the Viny Ridge plasters for sure and talk to others to gain insight!

After so many years living in the Ottawa Gatineau area I finally decided to visit this museum. I was very much surprised and impressed because I thought it might be a stale atmosphere because of the theme of the museum. I can honestly say it’s very well set up and very nicely organized. If you’re interested in the history of war, this is the place to come. 👍😎

A great place to visit if you want to learn more about Canada’s war history. There are many weapons and artifacts on display that vividly tell the story of past conflicts. The environment is clean, spacious, and well-organized, making it an engaging and educational experience.

Absolutely incredible museum from an information and visual perspective. It starts with four separate rooms explaining each era of Canadian war history with incredible artifacts and detailed descriptions of what occurred. Each area is very well down and then as you move to the end there is a whole floor filled with tanks and other military vehicles throughout the years of both Canadian and international origin. The museum does an amazing job of bringing war to life and helping you appreciate the scale of the wars and the equipment used. A can't miss if you are in Ottawa, however be prepared to spend a good three hours here.

Best free tour in Ottawa! I am biased as librarianship is my field of expertise but truly the library of parliament is one of the most beautiful libraries I have ever stepped into. The tour of Parliament is a great way to learn more about Canadian history especially how the government and legislative branch operates, I highly recommend it!

The National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa is definitely worth a visit. The architecture is stunning, and the atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. You can find everything from famous Canadian artists to thought-provoking modern art, plus the amazing Indigenous art collection. It’s a place where you can spend hours exploring and always discover something new. I have been there two times but still feel i haven’t seen the full.

A beautiful building with convenient parking on site and small coffee shop in the building. 2 floors of art mainly contemporary, indigenous and European art. You will need at least 2-3.5 hours to finish. Very spacious. Clean bathrooms and nice staff.

The National Gallery of Canada was excellent, with loads of Group of Seven, indigenous, and other Canadian artists, plus lots of European artists too (including a well-thought-out wall of Van Gogh’s progression as an artist). The restaurant inside is great as well, with lots of ready-made and made-to-order options.

A must-visit for art lovers and anyone visiting Ottawa. The grand, high-ceilinged architecture and automatic doors left us in awe, making the exhibition space feel even more elegant and enjoyable. It took us about 2–3 hours to explore the entire building and exhibitions. The museum features an excellent collection of contemporary, Indigenous, American, and European artworks and installations. It also offers a beautiful view of Parliament Hill. Inside, you will find a cafeteria, a café, a library, and a gift shop.

Such a beautiful gallery with a WIDE variety of art styles and artists, from contemporary to european to indigenous artists! It was only 2 stories but the floors were MASSIVE. We spent 2-3hrs but defo would’ve spent more if we visited every single room. It has a massive open window panel so the natural light is super beautiful on a sunny day. Would definitely recommend!! There’s also a summer promotion going on right now, so I definitely wouldn’t miss it.

Many wonderful exhibits to see - I always find contemporary art interesting. With that being said, the Canadian art is what I enjoy the most. Plenty of excellent examples from the group of seven and indigenous artists. Be sure to visit the Rideau Chapel while you’re there. Absolutely stunning.

I love how the buildings architecture makes the overall art experience even more incredible. Experiencing art is one thing but have it mixed with another form of art (architecture) and colored walls made me really enjoy this visit even more. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves art and architecture.

It’s a canal of historic importance to Canada. There’s not much to do about it though, especially if it’s not frozen for skating. And I was only really able to get subpar pictures from the sides

Tourist in ottowa ! You need to see this . This is a place you want to see in summers and in winters. The vibe here is very nice - full atmosphere for a family outing plus amazing food options by the street . The walk around canal is amazing , you can take a walk by water , by the canal , you can walk over bridge to Quebec. Whole area is scenic and beautiful. You can also go for a run or ride a bike here . Additionally - these all places in Rideau Canal area are pet friendly too . So you can go for a walk with your pets on amazing trails . The o my struggle you may face is parking - which you can find if you drive around for 2-3 mins . Overall , this is the place to start your day in ottowa as a tourist and your day will pass by itself . If you are interested you can see when canal goes down and how water is balanced too.

It was an interesting tour, we learned some history. They use an electric boat. The way it's built does not allow you to enjoy the view, the seats face each other. Our guide had a good sense of humor, kept making jokes. There's is a toilet and bar on board.

Must visit place when in Ottawa. Boat ride or cycling whatever you prefer is a good way to spend time around the canal. There are not many places to park so look for parking options.

This is a 202 km long canal linking the Ottawa River in Ottawa to Lake Ontario in Kingston. It was constructed between 1826 to 1832 and includes 46 locks, raising boats 83 metres upstream to Rideau Lakes & lowering 50 metres back down to Kingston. The Rideau Canal is a UNESO World Heritage Site and considered to be the best preserved 'slackwater' canal in North America. You can view locks 1-8 directly from Plaza Bridge. This is a great spot for picture taking and to look at the mechanics of the canal from up close. Really neat bit of sightseeing in the the city centre of Ottawa, convenient to include along with intended attractions around Parliament Hill.

Upper Village Canada is truly a hidden gem. The neighborhood feels peaceful and welcoming, with clean streets and a calm atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing walk. What I really enjoyed was the sense of community—people are friendly, and it feels safe and comfortable to spend time here. There are also some lovely spots to sit, enjoy the surroundings, and take in the charm of the area. It’s not overly crowded, which makes it even more enjoyable if you’re looking for a quiet place away from the hustle of the city. Overall, it’s a beautiful area that combines nature, comfort, and a warm atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend visiting or even considering it as a place to live.

Pumpkinferno at Upper Canada Village is such a fun fall experience! The pumpkin displays are incredibly detailed and creative — you can tell so much work goes into them. Walking through the village at night with all the glowing pumpkins feels magical and festive. It’s perfect for families, couples, or just a cozy fall outing. Definitely worth the drive and the ticket price! 🎃🍂 There’s a train ride for the family for additional 8$ per person. This event runs select nights from October 3 to November 1, 2025. So hurry up if you haven’t gone there yet. 🤩

I had a great time at the Pumpkin Festival! 🎃 The atmosphere was festive and family-friendly, with lots of creative pumpkin displays, delicious seasonal treats, and fun activities for all ages. The live music and food stalls added a nice touch, and it really felt like the perfect way to celebrate fall. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it got a bit crowded at peak hours, and did not felt like worth driving from Ottawa. Still, overall it was a wonderful experience — definitely worth visiting if you love autumn vibes and pumpkin everything!

I went with my daughter and her boyfriend. Line went pretty fast to get inside. It took about 45 minutes to walk through with enough time to take pictures. Found a lot of people don’t pay attention if someone is taking photos. A lot of great pumpkin carvings was very enjoyable.

Quite impressive and interesting! We loved to watch the blacksmith, cheese maker, tinmaker, shoemaker etc. at work and to see an historic sawmill in action. Just awesome! The horse-drawn carriage ride was for free and a nice way to get an overview of the area. We were happy that we've dicided to visit this place.

We LOVED the experience. This place takes you back in time, to the 1800s. People that work there were amazing. It felt good to be a bit disconnected from today’s society and see how people lived 200 years ago. The village is well managed and big enough you can easily spend half day just walking around.

We stayed one night in a pod in the village from a Sunday to a Monday last week and went through the park two days of our visit. Our family had a wonderful time. The pod was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Our kids liked staying in the loft. Staff were friendly and provided clear information. We had our dinner by the campfire and were visited by many deer. Be sure to bring plenty of carrots for both driving through the park and for the visitors to your pod if you’re staying here. Highly recommend going to the morning wolf education session if you stay overnight. It was far less busy than the one we attended in the daytime within the park. The staff at the educational sessions were knowledgeable and answered our kids’ questions following the session. The animals here seemed well cared for and their enclosures were big enough that you might not necessarily see them all, for example to see the wolves you are likely best to attend one of the educational sessions where they come out to be fed. The elk you will most definitely see a lot of approaching your car for carrots which is very entertaining. We enjoyed the little trail around the trout pond. We hope to return again someday.

A Truly Unforgettable Experience at Parc Omega Parc Omega is a must visit for any animal lover! We stayed for two nights in one of the 1400 square foot chalets located in the wolf area, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. The accommodations were spotless, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed,it honestly felt like a home away from home. We brought our own groceries from Metro and enjoyed cooking some delicious meals right in the chalet. It was the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern convenience. As for the Parc itself, it’s very well maintained and offers a great variety of animals to see up close. From elk and bison to arctic wolves, every encounter was memorable. The hiking trails were a nice bonus, peaceful, scenic, and a great way to stretch your legs after the drive-through portion. Overall, we highly recommend Parc Omega. It’s a unique experience that blends nature, wildlife, and comfort beautifully. We’ll definitely be back!

Love this park!!! The ticket is totally worth it! The views of the park itself is beautiful, very spacious. There are couple of stops that you can hike and enjoy the view, also some tables for picnic. The animals are well taken care of, they look happy and have enough space to run around.

it is one of the best safari parks I've ever been to - an amazing experience for all ages who love animals and nature. The whole park is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully divided into different zones for various animals, making each part of the drive exciting. Deer are basically everywhere, even right from the entrance! We arrived before 11am., and it was already packed with friendly deer eagerly waiting for carrots. But don't let them fool you - save your carrots, because there're plenty more deer throughout the park. Or you could buy carrots later in the shops in Zone 11. We brought about 10 pounds of carrots and found it best to cut them into halves or quarters so the smaller deer can eat easily. Zone 4 is where you can take a trail walk by the lake and we also went to Zone 11 to watch the wolf presentation, which was both fascinating and educational, and enjoyed some surprisingly good poutine at Zone 11,too. another quick tip : when you reach the first gate that says "Parc Omega", drive straight in - the ticket check comes afterward. If you're staying overnight, then you turn left at that first gate for the accommodations. It's truly a full-day adventure, and if your budget allows, staying in the Deer Cabin or Wolf Lodge makes it even more unforgettable.

Written in September. Wonderful place for kids. The animals come to eat right from the car. It's recommended to buy 2 large bags of carrots and bring them. It's worth buying tickets on Black Friday when the price is lower. The fall foliage was very beautiful- with a great short hike.

I tried to buy tickets in advance for a discount, but the website was having issues. I ended up having to pay the regular price at the entrance. The park lets you feed deer which is a really funny experience. You can buy your own carrots at the supermarket for cheaper. There is a drive-through safari where the deers are and we also saw boars and bison. Some animals are caged in like the wolves, coyote, foxes, bears, wolverine, prairie dogs and horses. The arctic wolf enclosure wasn't visible due to construction work and the grey wolves werent near the lookout so we couldn't see them. The wolf presentation at 12pm didn't happen for some unknown reason. For a safari of this price, I find the variety of animals to be a bit lacking. Also, the cart ride to the farm was closed without notice, and people were lining up for 20 minutes just to be told it was closed. The farm only had alpaca, and the feeder was broken and ate a woman's coin. If not for the deer feeding part, it would've been a worse experience overall due to management issues.

Parc Omega is a self-drive wildlife safari located near Montebello, about an hour from Ottawa or Montreal. You drive through 12 km of beautiful landscapes forests, lakes, and open fields while getting incredibly close to Canadian wildlife. * You can feed deer and elk right from your car window bring your own carrots (lots of them).We also saw moose, bison, wolves, bears, and arctic foxes. * The park is open year-round and offers different activities each season like dog-sledding and snowshoeing in winter, or bird shows and walking trails in summer. * They even have unique overnight stays,glass-fronted cabins where you can sleep next to a wolf enclosure! * Family-friendly with picnic spots, a small farm, play areas, and well-kept facilities. Tips: * Arrive early to avoid the crowd and enjoy the peaceful environment. * Be cautious when feeding animals, some have large antlers and can bump your car. * Plan 3–5 hours for a relaxed visit and to explore both the drive and walking trails.

What a great hidden gem ! Was extremely surprised with all the great exhibits in the main hall and also the amount of live exhibits (otters, fish, turtles, snakes). The grounds are very well kept and maintained. The paths for walking thru the woods and outdoor exhibits were flat and easy with very very few tripping hazards (I mean you are in the woods !) . Would highly recommend this for adults and children

Absolutely amazing place! The Wild Center is a perfect mix of nature, science, and hands-on fun. We loved exploring the interactive exhibits inside — they’re so engaging for both kids and adults. The outdoor trails and the Wild Walk are breathtaking, with stunning views of the Adirondacks and treetop bridges that make you feel part of nature. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, and everything was well organized and clean. A fantastic spot to learn, explore, and enjoy the beauty of the natural world.

This is a great place for all ages, and abilities! I brought my 92 year old Grandma, in a wheelchair, on oxygen...I myself am disabled, and need assistance with walking. We were able to access everything, except for the big cutout tree, with the swaying, narrow bridges. They also have a large, BEAUTIFUL, gift shop where I spent quite a bit buying unique gifts for family members! The otters really are a joy to watch in their large, nice, tank! They have other animals too.... Lots of fish, and turtles! All of this is indoors! They have a little movie theater that shows films about the adks, sky, and others! They have an indoor restaurant. They have otter feeding shows too! There are many hands on activities for kids! When you're done with everything inside, you go back where the parking lot is and the wild walk is on the other side of the parking lot... You could do walk first if you want.. There is a booth when you first pull in, where you buy tickets. It was 50.00 for Gram and I ($26.00 adult, and $24.00 senior)... You can buy the tickets online if you want and save $1.00 per ticket! I was able to push my Gram right up the wild walk and we got to see the large "bald eagle nest", and the huge spiderweb that kids were having so much fun on! This place is so educational... Even along the walk, there are signs about different birds, and how stuff is made. One section has a cool game with spinners, you can play! The also have a mini gift shop along the walk! I highly recommend visiting this place! My Grandma thought it was pricey to get in, until she started seeing everything, and after we left she said she would have paid double to go! Enjoy your visit!

This place is so cool! We had no idea how much stuff there was to do, I could have spent all day in there. The indoor portions are really neat, especially the big globe thing. There’s otters and ducks inside, which was so fun. The outdoor portions are really is so nice, with the treetop stuff and the water access. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I wish I had come here as a child. Also, the gift shop rules.

The best naturalist visitor center that I've ever experienced! The aquariums, displays, live animals (Fish, wood ducks, Falcon) were amazing. The variety of displays and information provided are Fantastic!! The educational hiking trails and Raquette wooden ball roll platforms made a 62 year old feel like I was a kid again. Additionally the canopy walk was spectacular and easy enough for everyone. Best experience of the trip!

What a beautiful experience this was, especially with the leaves changing color—it made the visit even more special. There’s so much to do for both children and adults. Outside, we enjoyed about five aerial attractions, including a bird’s nest, trampoline, and bird game. There was also live music under a tent, a mile-long walk with around a dozen interactive handmade ball games, and unique playgrounds, all crafted with care. Inside the museum, we found engaging exhibits and living creatures to view, along with plenty of hands-on activities that encouraged learning for children. The gift shops were spacious and well-stocked, and the small café offered affordable food and beverages, which was a nice surprise. Every staff member we met was kind and welcoming. We went on Community Day, so admission was free, but the experience was truly priceless. This is a wonderful place for families, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and meaningful outing.

Very fun experience! I highly recommend! Stopped here on a road trip from Missouri. The music forest is so enchanting so be sure to check that out! The wild walk was so fun to explore everything, made me feel like a kid! Very friendly staff as well!
