The room was dated back to the 80's. The only thing good about the room is your dogs can stay there for a fee of ninety dollars 4 -2 dogs. You can't take your dogs anywhere in the casino. Our bed had a big dip in it from people sleeping on the mattress. The air conditioner stopped working. We ordered breakfast and the hash brown potatoes were soggy and not cooked enough and the eggs were over easy, but the whites were not cooked. This was at the claim jumper cafe. The only thing cool about the casino was the giant gold nugget. The red felt under the nugget needs to be updated with a nice blue felt. The casino smelt like cigarette smoke even in the room. When I made my reservation, the reservationists could have been better about explaining to me the difference in the pet rooms about the patios. I would have preferred a room with a patio cuz you can open the door and go outside with your pets. Reservationist needs to upsell.

I’d advise that you skip Golden Nugget in Laughlin. It’s old and nasty, slowly getting updated, but it fails on every point. The front desk lied to me saying they didn’t know if the room we were getting had been renovated; it hadn’t and she of course knew that. The elevator to the room is as disgusting as any flop house that rents rooms by the hour; it smelled of mold and asbestos. It still has carpet from the 60s; you can feel that it’s damp from the mildew and scuz. The rooms are not great but the bed was nice. The AC didn’t work well and it made a crazy noise. There wasn’t a single thing we could plug a phone into; the alarm clock had the USB connection but the clock actually didn’t work all. They seriously had a non working alarm clock in the room. The USB ports on the wall sconces were not hooked up to electricity of something because they didn’t work either. The Golden Nugget failed on every single point. The whole hotel stinks. The Casino smells like broken dreams, spilt beer and cigarettes. The Claim Jumper restaurant was nasty. For dinner I made the mistake of getting a French dip; (inviting tragedy I know) no taste other than salt. I actually don’t know why I try to order that anywhere; it’s typically pretty bad. And then like a dope I went back down there for breakfast, a new crew I figured “who can screw up breakfast?” Well… fool me twice shame on me so I’ll own that. Nothing good here, so I say- Skip the Nugget

This property is very dated. I believe they had some newly remodeled rooms but we were not in one. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water but it was really worn. Also smokey, even in the restaurants which wasn’t ideal. Would love to see Laughlin come back to good old days. Hopefully the remodeling will help.

When we arrived, everything seemed fine — until we went down to the steakhouse for dinner. It was closed for the rest of the day due to a main water leak. Unfortunately, every restaurant on site was closed as well, meaning we had to leave the property to find food right after checking in. A few hours later, we came back ready for a hot shower and some rest… but there was still no hot water. Calling the front desk took several tries before someone finally answered. I was told the water issue “wasn’t their fault,” and when I asked to check out for a refund, I was informed that the manager — the only one authorized to process refunds — had already gone home for the night. We paid extra for a river view room, yet there was no river view at all (see attached photo). By morning, the situation somehow got worse. We woke up to the smell of sewage and still had no working toilets. As we packed up to leave, one of us grabbed a donut we’d saved for breakfast — only to find it covered in ants. Photo attached. We reported everything upon checkout, received a quick “sorry,” and were still charged in full. At this point, we were just relieved to leave. Golden Nugget Laughlin may have its charm for others, but for us, this stay was anything but golden.

I called and booked directly from the hotel because I wanted to secure a River view room. So I paid full price. (No view of the River) From the time of are arrival we had issues. After check in we explored the hotel decided to go to Salt Grass Steak house. It was closed due to a water issue. So after eating a horrible meal off site. We come back to the room to shower and brush teeth. And no water. I had to use my own hotspot. The guest WiFi did not work and was very unsecured. Waking up early still no water. The Krispy Cream donuts I brought the day before had been attacked by ants over night and I did not know that after eating some of them. We properly left the room and I explained all my issues and concerns upon checkout and I was told have a good day there is nothing I can do. Here’s your deposit back! I had less amenities here than at my house. I will never stay here again.

After this weekend, The Golden Nugget Laughlin will always be our #1 choice when booking. Their employees are so amazing!!! I had left my wallet and was unable to check in, but Dawn came to our rescue and handled it for us. After a few hours of dealing with our 3rd party booking site, Dawn had us all checked in. I am so grateful for all her hard work, patience and help. Also, Jacob the hotels driver was the coolest guy ever. He saw us struggling with Uber and offered to give us a ride. Not only that, he came back to pick us up from our evening. Such a great guy...thanks Dawn and Jacob for making our stay with the GN so great and memorable. We look forward to coming back soon!!!

Sadly, the Golden Nugget has lost us. We changed rooms due to the first room having plumbing issues, a broken a/c, and a few small things not worth mentioning. While the second room had awesome a/c, it did still have plumbing issues and just generally downtrodden. We met someone in the hallway who had mold in their first room, plumbing issues and a few other things in their second room. Both of us agreed we won't be coming back. The whole place has obvious signs of neglect, disrepair, and the appearance of lack of respect for a once classic place to be. On the upside, the gals at the desk were awesome! Unfortunately, we will not longer come back to the Nugget and will find better accommodations.

Don Laughlin was an avid car collector and anyone who appreciates classic cars will enjoy visiting this place. There are plenty of classics from the 50’s and 60’s and rides that go as far back as the early 1900’s. Some of the vehicles have considerable history as mentioned on the plaques. Everything in here was well organized and cared for. It was a nice, quiet area to get away from the flashing lights and noise of the casinos.

Free with the players card. Regularly five dollars. You can see Don Laughlin‘s personal Rolls-Royce ghost on display and several other cars, motorcycles and other things somewhere his others were donated or on loan a really great collection and a beautiful setting.

This place completely blew my mind! They have vehicles I’ve never even heard of. My son loved it! Totally recommend it! This is one of very few cool things to do in Laughlin. Trust me!

Phenomenal cars on display. I fancy myself a car person, but he had cars in there that I have never even heard of. Teared up a little reading the 911 Memorial Car. Fell in love all over again seeing the Corvette's from the 60's. Just so many beautiful American machines. The staff here were so great. They let you know that you are allowed to take plenty of pictures, the answer all questions you have, and we had a lot, lol

Beautiful collection of maliciously curated classics. Wonder ful job. Worth the visit. If your a motor head and in the area, take the time and appreciate this fine collection. Takes 30 minutes to an hour depending on how much you read and drool. 😆 A+

Nice paved and dirt trail going along the Colorado river. There’s information placards and some old remnants of structures. You can also go across the top of the dam and the roads closed to vehicles. That’s where the AZ/NV state line is. You can do dirty stuff in two states. Not as fun as 4 corners, but no crowds watching.

Very happy to have trails like this to ride with the family. Wide enough for cyclists and pedestrians. Bathrooms and plenty of parking at both trailheads, with lots of picnic areas and benches along the way.

You can't spend ALL your time at the casino. Take the Riverwalk north, cross the main road taking your life in your hands, and you'll have the best viewpoint at the new pedestrian bridge. It goes for miles! Note: no trailer/RV parking on north side. Go to the south side of bridge there is a larger lot not as busy.

We stopped by the park for a short walk. It's a very nice park by the river. The water is crystal clear! Beautiful for walk, picnic and of course water sports fun!

Really awesome trail! Did the whole thing in a loop this morning. I was disappointed to discover a homeless encampment near the picnic shelters on the river on the west side as I was exploring with my dog. Not exactly ideal near kids playground and picnic shelters. The trail through the city side and over the bridge isn't very fun, if I were to do it again I might just do it in reverse back instead of going through the traffic side.

This was a great walk About a 2 mile walk to the park directly across from the dam. Flat paved path asking the river as well as a dirt/gravel path for horses. Restrooms at both ends and water fountains and covered shade areas every mile or less. People fishing, walking, swimming, and enjoying the views.

Stopped by the South Beach on a Monday afternoon, it was empty, all areas looked clean and well taken care of/maintained. The water was ice cold and felt very peaceful since no one was around. Completely open parking space - we are definitely coming back!

Loved our stop in Oatman & this place was a special stop with the motorcycle Museum! Along with the wild burros made it even better.

Ladies were rude, outside smoking and could care less about taking care of the visitors. Go to other places to spend your money

Interesting, quirky, quaint, historic, artsy, old west mining town from the early 1900s that got resurrected for the tourist trade. Lots of domestic donkeys gone wild wandering about. Worth a visit if in the general area and you have a few spare hours .

Purchased a lawn ornament during our travels in our rv. Confirm with clerk it was the correct item without opening the box. Upon return home I opened the box to discover we had the wrong item. Upon contacting the store they provided a full refund . Very pleased

Pretty interesting place! I liked the motorcycle museum up stairs. Fun day with the jackasses roaming the street! Plus you can say you drive on Route 66!

It's hot outside, but this place is cool.

We rode up to Oatman on motorcycles from Phoenix. We stopped in at the Oatman Hotel Restaurant and tried a couple of different breakfast meals. The burritos were flavorful and filling, packed with great taste and generous portions. I had the toast, bacon and potatoes, which were cooked just right – crispy bacon and well-seasoned potatoes that hit the spot. The atmosphere of the historic hotel adds so much character and makes the dining experience even better. Friendly service and hearty food make this a must-stop when in Oatman. Make sure you leave a dollar on the wall as it's a tradition you can't miss. FYI I did not stay at hotel so I cannot review. -

What a fun and unforgettable stop! The Oatman Hotel & Restaurant is a place you’ll never want to forget. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. But what really makes this place special is the ambience — it’s pure Old West charm from the moment you step inside. Between the historic walls, the dollar bills covering everything, and the lively cowboy atmosphere, it’s an experience you just have to see for yourself. Come hungry, come curious, and come get your cowboy on!

This great little watering hole is in the cutest town on Route 66. The bartender was so attentive and friendly. All the customers are pretty friendly too. What a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!! (It's called a Hotel, but this is just a drinking/eating establishment)

My friend and I visited midday on Thursday, 10/16/25, and it was busy. We ordered burgers with chips which were very good. The table next to us highly recommended the carrot cake and fudge saying they were freshly made on location. My friend had the carrot cake and I had the fudge. They were also very scrumptious. The place was very unique with defaced one dollar bills everywhere. Neat place to see!

We loved visiting the town of Oatman and it was at the top of my must-see towns, however the Oatman Hotel wasn't what I expected at all. The sign out front is rotting! Inside, the cheap Halloween decorations looked out of place. We decided to not eat there because there were flys everywhere. May I suggest fly strips? We had an ice cream cone instead and got to listen to dirty rap music coming from the open door of the kitchen while we tried to enjoy our ice cream. The profanity in the music was horrible! It ruined the experience of the hotel for us. The girl at the ice cream counter was nice, though I feel sorry that she has to be subjected to such trashy music in her workplace. What could be a beautiful nostalgic hotel is a hole in the wall and was a total disappointment. It could be so much better with a little ingenuity and elbow grease.

The entire place is a wax museum with a pulse. The restaurant’s food is delicious, the service above and beyond, and the atmosphere mind blowing. Feeding the donkeys is a nice touch. I make sure to always bring my friends and family when they visit.

It's an amazing place to visit and hang out. We bellied up to the bar, and to my delight, Carrie, a sweetheart of a bartender and a total doll took care of us. Carrie helped guide us through our food order and drinks. The Wild Buffalo Burger with a side of Burro Ears is delicious! It's a great place for tasty food with a beautiful bartender to make you feel special. Highly recommend! Stop in, look around this amazing place, and definitely eat. Maybe you’ll get lucky and Carrie is working.

The museum was a really nice stop in Kingman, AZ to understand the origin and decline of Route 66. It only cost $10 per person and kids 12 and under are free. The video is lengthy and slightly dated but provides a wealth of information for each AZ town on Route 66. The electric car portion was a nice addition.

This little museum is much more than meets the eye. Its a souvenir shop, an information center for tourism across the region, a historical museum, a science and tech museum - electric vehicles from the turn of the century until now (including several record setters). Tickets for this attraction also get you into the Mojave County museum across the street and a historical building tour - great value. It was amazing looking at first hand accounts of living out here in the Wild West, especially some of the folks that weren't quite ready for everything. You really felt for them! This was a great expereince - highly recommend!

Pretty cool little museum in Kingman. Very inexpensive with some really cool photos and artifacts. There's an electric car room in the museum. It was really fun to see the progression of electric cars and how early in our history that they were being invented. Great way to spend an afternoon!

We visited the museum when charging at the superchargers in the parking lot. Busy because Friday. It's a small but decent presentation. As far as we could tell, it was free to get in. There's a substantial souvenir store, where we bought our Arizona keepsake. There are 2 stories, with stairs and an elevator. Tip: the restroom on the second floor is less busy.

Great little stop. There is a couple pictures opportunities outside and around the Museum. The museum itself was a little small for the price but pretty good. The price did include the Mojave Museum but its closed on Mondays.

Really cute gift shop with a museum on the second floor. In the parking lot, you can take pictures with Rte 66 signs and drive your car through one of them. Lots of informational brochures for the entire state.

Neat old store. So much to see inside and outside. Some classic stripped cars, old signs etc. Inside had nicknacks, clothes and sodas. Worth a quick stop.

A must to stop and visit on Route 66. You can almost here the nothing mixed some Bagdad Cafe song. Sand, old general store with whatever you need to take with you from this Route 66 trip.

Hackberry General Store is a must-stop on historic Route 66! The place is full of character, with vintage cars, classic signs, and lots of nostalgic memorabilia that take you back in time. It feels like an open-air museum where every corner has something interesting to see. The atmosphere is very authentic, and it’s a great spot for photos and a quick break on the road. Definitely worth visiting for anyone traveling along Route 66!

Old Timey Charm. Lots of biker groups. Stocked with the latest, but still has the yesteryear look! Lots of old cars and machines, brands of which preceded me. Friendly cat named Charlie in the store loves to be pet. Learnt the hard way. Wear closed toed shoes. :)

Nice little stop with plenty to see and purchase. If you never have taken Route 66 I highly recommend the drive. It is a few more minutes but definitely worth the drive.

This was a must stop for us on the rt.66 trip as its a historical stop and landmark. This place has so much historical things inside and outside, they have cold drinks, snacks, restroom and friendly people that work here. I really like how it was decorated and you can see that many people around the world came to visit this place just because of its historical presence. This place is a must stop on your rt.66 trip no matter what, support this place by getting something so thst it can stay open and alive for many generations. This place used to be a old gas station back in the day i believe and was renovated to become what it is today. I highly recommend coming here if your in the area as well and not just doing rt.66.

One of the best selections of souvenirs and memorabilia along this section of Rt 66. The old vehicles and workshop add to the nostalgic charm along with the surprisingly effective outdoor meditation space. It’s just a wonderful spot to stop and take in the ambiance. On another note we had a bit of a fright when my daughter and grandson stepped into the beehive roofed structure out back and were greeted by an equally startled ground snake. The experience was good for a laugh after the shock wore off.

To be honest, having been to multiple spectacular caverns in several states, we were not expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised by this experience. Easy walk with just a few slightly challenging up and down hills on the path. Entry and exit is by elevator. The guide was informative and friendly. A unique part was we did the combo and had lunch at the bottom, 200' down in the cavern. Bison burgers were great especially with having to bring everything down from the restaurant up top. They did make a mistake on my meal, but corrected it within minutes, which is great considering someone had to get it from the restaurant at ground level! Some interesting facts about this dry, dead cave were shared AND there is a 'hotel room' at the bottom that you can book for the night. It is in a large cavern, with two queen beds, tv, dvd movies, and even a turntable for music. Booked up a YEAR in advance!! There is even Room Service!

The Grand Canyon Caverns Tour plus lunch was an unplanned stop during our visit to Arizona. We are so happy we stumbled upon the tour online, as we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. This was our first dry caverns tour, and we loved seeing the differences from our previous wet caverns tours. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the caverns, making for a fascinating history lesson. We concluded our visit with the add-on lunch option, which added another unique element to our vacation. Don't miss this tour!!

Excellent stop on old route 66, driving back to the caverns and taking the tour took about an hour and a half. I was expecting it to be a tourist trap, which it kinda is, but the caverns where bigger and more interesting than expected. The path in the cave is long maybe half a mile and does have a fair bit of up and down elevation gain. One woman in our group had a difficult time managing, so keep that in mind.

We stayed in the RV Park with oir 17 ft travel trailer for two nights. They have water and electric hook up. Dump station is behind the market at the entrance. The second night they had a veterans day cookout with a band and they roasted a pig and a live band to 10 p. Mostly locals showed up having a good time and nothing got out of control. This is the second time doing the cave tour and lunch combo! Its definitely a bucket list if you haven't done it before. Beware it dosent tell you in the website the "hike" in the standard tour can be stenious at many spots, especially for older people. It is paves the whole way but are some steep incline/decline at various points. Overall I love the experience here and would do it and stay again

Great experience I would definitely recommend a day trip to the caverns. Make sure you do the longer tour(45) minutes, well worth it.

This was a great experience! It's amazing to see the caverns and hear the history. All of the employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We did the full tour with the in the cavern lunch. The food was delicious! The only thing I would say is that some of the walking on the tour has stairs or steep hills to walk up, so it might not be doable for some people.

What a surprise to have this place so close to the start of Havasupi trailhead. Nothing fancy, but did the trick and thoroughly enjoyed being able to pick up our passes the night before so we could get an early start in the morning. A small restaurant is located just a short way from the property and was great to have a warm meal before heading out for a four day hike. They offered a small continental breakfast For free starting at 4:00am which was so kind. Not a lot of amenities but beats camping out one more night. Definitely worth the price!

Angel & Vilma Delgadillo's Original Route 66 Gift Shop is one of our favorite places to shop for souvenirs on Route 66. The store is run by the relatives of Angel Delgadillo. We had a long conversation with them about their father and the history of the store, Seligman, and his impact on Route 66. This is a fantastic store. it's a great place to look around, especially Angel's Barber Shop. There are great shirts, magnets, hats, etc. Later on that evening, we happened to meet Angel, who was out on his daily walks. We both had a fantastic conversation, and he showed me where the original alignment of Route 66 was, and we walked over to his pool hall. Thus was quite the experience, and I will always remember the kindness of his daughters and the history lesson from Angel.

What a gem this stop is! The history here is so fascinating to me and I could have listened to their stories all day. Great atmosphere, variety of fun gifts and souvenirs. And the decor, inside and out, was amazing! Took lots of pictures. My whole family loved it, especially the kids and all the Cars movie inspiration. Thank you!😊

This place is the heart and the history of the whole Route 66. A must-visit place when you travel along the Mother Road. Make sure to reserve some time in your calendar to enter inside and enjoy the whole atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!

Wow what an experience, so much history. This shop is very special & a must stop if your into old Route 66. It all starts here and how the last remainder of the hi way was saved and turned into a historic drive. Hector (hope that's right) shared so much history of Angel the Barber and how it all came together. Many of the items including shirts are USA made as well. Take the time and get off the main highway, get a map and take a drive down history lane. Were glad we did! The Pixar film Cars was based from this town.

Charming downtown or Ild Town area of Cottonwood. Has several interesting shops and restaurants and cafes most businesses close early, but a few remain open till 7:00 pm and later. It’s a must visit.

Quiet place on the outskirts of Sedona. Nice location and perfect place to unwind after all the energy in Sedona. There were a lot more places here than I thought there would be and everything is within a short driving distance. Not much for night life though.

Beautiful place to visit many shops quiet lots of places to eat have a drink, stop and have breakfast at Crema Craft Kitchen a must visit. Walk down the street to Old Town Rock shop, ride the rail, love it.

Cool place to walk around and do some local shopping. Very quiet on a Tuesday and many closed shops/restaurants. Get out there and support your local merchants.

Wow - what a transformation. For my tastes Cottonwood is rising fast. Snobby California get over yourself. Great experiences can happen for normal people in the Verde Valley without emptying your bank account pretending to be Silicon Valley rich. Cottonwood is a great place for hardworking people looking for an authentic wine experience delivered by passionate locals.

Beautiful, historical and fun town. Although the area was originally inhabited by the Sinagua and followed by the Spanish, it is now more reminiscent of the mining epoch and its wild west forebearers. Surrounded by the Verde Valley this historic town is nestled in one of Arizona’s most beautiful valleys. The town as a whole, from it townspeople, the shops, the restaurants make for a pleasant, homey and inviting ambience for couples or families alike. You can go really west with the likes of Blazin’ Bar Ranch, walk the town shops and enjoy its hospitality, or even have great eats whether Cowboy, Mexican or Pub food. Cottonwood is a great day trip for Phoenicians and a great weekend getaway for anyone wanting either or tranquil repose or some rip-roaring fun. We love Cottonwood, we know you will too.

Winery' taste testing all up and down main Street. Restaurants , bars ,music, a park for hiking down to the verde river where u can relax in the shade of Cottonwood trees , blue skies peeks through the branches. Never crowded Theres a small market , A store that sells nothing but glitter .everything was glittered and I mean everything. There's a hippie shop with all kinds of fun stuff , .sketches of Bob Marley and Gerry Garcia by local artist. There is another store w/ beautiful artwork .wWrought iron work , things made from local tree stumps, jewelry,Inlaid wood tables ,fantasy artwork . One particular artist had a dream of a dagger sketched it immediatly after waking and now he has a collection of artwork for sale.Alot of the art has a story the artist conveys to you . Theres always live music somewhere or a good sound system in bars and on patios almost everyday. Listen for the church bell at the Belfry Restaurant.( once a church ). When the bell rings,which can be heard all thru out the town you have 5 minutes to get in there and order a beer for 1/2 price. Fojol Brothers bar / restaurant, food truck service and old long buses for rides in the desert w/ a D.J set up, disco lights on board or a live band will make u dance the night away on a bus .! The staff is encouraged to crazily dress up for work. This place only serve beer and wine also a food truck and healthy bar food served in this fun place. Bocce by the old stone bridge . A Big fire pit outside.good places to get together for gourmet pizza and wine.full bar. Martinis r their specialty drink,different one everyday. Price is right too. Old town Cottonwood is a fun and historic place . Sedona and old mining town of Jerome r just a short drive away.

Oh my goodness we had a blast! Our normal cup of tea is the casino. Lately my husband and I have been going through a rough patch after being together for 38 years. I searched for something different for us to do, came across Blazin M Ranch. Let me tell you the atmosphere was so welcoming from the moment they opened the gates! I almost felt like we just got invited to a friends ranch for so much fun and great homemade food and don’t even get me started on the amazing entertainment show they put on for us. The owners were so inspiring to me a husband and wife and they worked so hard and entertained all of us. Even came by and asked how are meal was. Seeing them work together made me remember my husband is my true partner in life. Thank you to the owners and they worked so wonderful employees for taking us out of a rough patch! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blazin M. Its really good family entertainment. We did ax 🪓 throwing & the escape room. There's a mechanical bull you can ride, a photography place to dress in western wear & have a photo taken, a small bar for beer, wine, & mixed drinks, a ping pong table, miniature golf, & there's a small museum near Ax throwing. It was so fun. Food was amazingly delicious. Bbq'd chicken, ribs, coleslaw, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn bread and a slice of cake. And you can go back for seconds, too! The show was so fun, lots of great music and laughs.

First and foremost I’d like to thank the staff for their amazing hospitality. Our family of 10 was treated very kindly. Our children were lucky enough to ring the dinner bell! The facility is gorgeous and well maintained. The extracurricular activities provided were a hit with our family. The food is probably too good, seconds are nearly impossible to resist! The show that the performers put on after dinner was so fun and very engaging. Overall this was a great experience. Our children loved it and we’ll cherish the memories made at the Blazing M ranch! Something fun to do near Sedona, we booked this on a whim and really glad we did. About a 30 mins drive but very much worth it. Lots of fun and games - the prickly pear margaritas and the little escape room were our favourites. We booked the 5pm slot and there was about 90 mins to enjoy before dinner and the show. Hugely entertaining. The staff there were excellent. We were a little disappointed as they forgot to give us our photos which we had paid for with our VIP upgrade but given the effort put in couldn't take away a star. Really fun!

A rootin' tootin' good time for the whole family. The music show is lots of fun but is likely to be more appreciated by the adults due to the song selection. The little old western town they have created is quaint with lots to see and do before the show. The food was incredible and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the trip.(A local, family owned business.)

Took my dad here for his birthday. The pre-dinner activities were so much fun! The VIP experience was worth every penny! The show was hilarious! It was chilly and the fire pits were awesome! Will definitely go back.

We enjoyed our visit to Blazin' M Ranch very much. It's a fun, family themed entertainment. When you check in, you are given a meal tag with your table assignment and a tag notifying the serving line of your dietary restrictions. The cute Western "town" has plenty of activities to do before the dinner/show. The short tractor ride was fun and informative. The dinner is very well organized. Over 200 people were served very quickly. We were the last row of tables to be served and I was surprised how quickly our turn came up. The food is delicious. We were served mac & cheese, bbq'd chicken thigh/leg & pork ribs, prickly pear coleslaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, dinner roll and bread pudding. And every dish was delicious. The meat fell off the bone, the ribs were meaty, the mac & cheese was wonderful (and I don't normally like mac & cheese). What I found very impressive is how my lactose intolerant husband was accommodated. I had stated his intolerance on the reservation website (there is a space for dietary restrictions) and when he came through the food line with his restriction tag, he was offered noodles with no cheese. They had cooked a separate small batch of noodles. My husband said the noodles were wonderfully seasoned and delicious. The show was fun. It does not take itself seriously and is very entertaining. This is a true family business where people play multiple roles. The sales clerks and activity assistants and tractor driver pop up as servers and entertainers and even owners. At the end of the show, everyone is brought out and acknowledged for their hard work. That was very impressive. The Blazin' M Ranch has a lot of heart.

What an incredible structure. It’s a must visit if you’re visiting the area. It’s fascinating, putting yourself in the shoes of the ancient ones who built this place. And the collection of artifacts in the visitor’s center is super impressive.

It was pretty awesome, the walk in mid day is pretty intense though if your not used to the heat Seeing the room at the top though is totally worth it There is also a small museum nearby which has some cool things and some very lovely rangers to talk to

Worth a visit if you're in the area. National park free with park pass. Small museum and gift shop with friendly, helpful staff. Paved walk up to the reconstructed pueblo, not suitable for wheeled vehicles. Short walk around the ruins, inside, and on the roof for photos. Restrooms, water bottle filler, plenty of parking. Go early to avoid the heat in summer.

We thought this was super cool. Plan on spending about 2 hours to "get everything". I don't remember if they took my America the Beautiful pass, but that means that if they charged us it wasn't much and it was worth it.

Fascinating view into the history of the Verde valley. Only takes about 30 minutes to see the small museum and ruins. I was impressed by the variety of artifacts from the site, especially the large pottery jars. Make sure you also see Montezuma Well and Montezuma Castle.

Very cool step back in time. Nice to be able to imagine how these people survived as you walk thru the rooms. Great exhibition in the welcome center of the artifacts that were found during excavation

Excellent historical site with explorable ruins and museum. Gorgeous views! You can keep receipt of paid entry to Tuzigoot or Montezuma to visit the other site.

We came here for our anniversary to explore Williams & take the train to the cabin. The experience & area were fantastic! The train ride was so beautiful & fun. For food, there were local places that we enjoyed, but we also did visit the buffet diner attached to the hotel for breakfast & it wasn't bad at all. The speakeasy style bar in the hotel was nice, but Historic Brewing Company is unbeatable & quite close. The rooms were a little dated but clean. Not an awful place to sleep, but didn't inspire any excitement by itself. We also visited the indoor pool & hot tub, but they seemed a bit grungy, so we abstained. Very beautiful area tho & the service was great. We had an overall great time!

Our stay was awesome! We purchased a package deal and all the details were arranged including meals and train tickets. All staff were courteous and outgoing. A big surprise was the grounds were decorated for Christmas with carols playing throughout the premises. Rooms were very comfortable and from desk was very responsive. Train ride to the canyon was very memorable. Highly recommend this experience!

The Wild West adventure that is the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel was a perfect treat on our road trip around the area. We chuckled at the cowboy shootout to start our day, marveled at the sights up to the Grand Canyon - and of course we were awe struck with the Grand Canyon, which you’ve got just enough time to really experience. We highly suggest the bus tour, that made things super easy and we were guaranteed to be back with just enough time. HOT TIP: You can skip the lunch and tour combo. The lunch is middle of the road at best and nothing special when you have access to other options while you’re up there. We thoroughly enjoyed the domed train cabin and after walking through the other cars were glad we paid the extra money for it. Nancy was our stewardess hostess and bartender, she was lovely! The hotel is a great location and well priced for the bundle with the train ride experience. It’s worth the stay and the breakfast buffet was delish!

We spend one night at the hotel; Morning cowboy show was fun, we had a great time in the train, round trip first class was very comfortable, includes pastries, water, soft drinks, snacks, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, coffee and charcuterie board! Terryl was a great host in our parlor and shared many cool and interesting facts and stories during our rides :) Grand Canyon Village at South Rim was cute! We took the Red Line free buses stopped at every lookout and the GC views are delightful <3

Hotel is nice, service is great. Staff is pleasant and helpful. We did the train ride to GC and stayed the night at maswick lodge. I would say the only negative was when we returned I asked for a 2nd floor room again and was told our bags were already in room. Not sure why I couldn't move them but we just stayed in room they gave note. We did the included food breakfast and dinner. The food and buffet is good but if your not a big eater it's not worth it. If you like eat go for it ! You will have plenty.

Staying at The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel felt a bit luxurious. The warm, relaxing ambiance amidst famous artwork, Old-West architecture, and the beautiful central fireplace prompted casual conversations with newly met acquaintances in a wonderfully comfortable place. The hotel offers an indoor swimming pool and spa tub, along with other desirable amenities. A unique feature of the hotel is the Cowboy Show for entertainment. Travelers may board The Grand Canyon Railway just out from the rear entrance.

I can not say enough wonderful things about our whole experience at Grand Canyon train and hotel experience . Hotel 10/10, clean , staff polite, friendly, accommodating ! Train ride 10/10, we were in the luxury parlor car, Jenny was our hostess, fabulous. Food and drink satisfying. Loved the ride itself ! The level of organization regarding moving our luggage and explaining when and where we needed to be for transfers and meals etc , 10/10 . We recommend this experience to all !

Family of 6 APPROVED! Great way to see the landscape and history of how most early travelers got to the Grand Canyon. We have done many train rides on various vacations. Black Hills, SD. Smokey Mountains, TN. Branson, MO. Etc. This one operates very much on the same format as those. A fun way to travel and gain local experience and history of the area. Pack some snacks, (also available on the train for purchase) Next time it would be great to spend a night at the hotel at the Grand Canyon and see the sunset and rise again. I’d recommend that! The street shoot out in Williams after the train ride was great too!

This was a amazing experience from start to finish. We booked the train ride with the Luxury dome. The seats were comfy the air was cool. The view was amazing. The service and history of the area and by Mike was fantastic. They served juice, coffee and fruit & donuts on the ride out and tea and coffee with a meat tray on the way back with a Champagne toast. Just a relaxing and beautiful trip. Mile provided 5 star service. We had someone come play a few songs each way and a train robbery (not a real one) on the way back. Bring dollar bills to hide , just makes it so much more fun .

Recommend this 100%. Worth every $$. Did the Luxury train ride. Very nice. Had singing cowboys, train robbery, snacks and beverages. Met fantastic people. Loved our train lady, Jenny, she was so awesome. She made the trip so fun.

Train ride was amazing and it was great to see all the scenery changes as we got closer to the Canyon. The women's bathroom on the train has like a lounge area. We're your able to sit on the couch if you need to wait for someone in the toliet area. Toliet area is slightly bigger than airplane restrooms. But the door handle is weird to get out as you need to lift it backwards. Buffet area has a good selection of items & we had different things going up vs going back to Williams. Train ride was very smooth in 1st class car. My sister & her husband went to check the Cafe Car & also checked the Pullman car which is not air conditioned. They said it was also a rougher ride, that the car itself was about 100 years old. Definitely worth taking, was fascinating to learn so much about the train & grand canyon area.

Train travel was easy when boarding and unloading at the Grand Canyon Railway Depot. Every Attendant was friendly, kind and attentive to the needs of their passengers. They helped whenever needed, with professionalism and respect. They interacted well with passengers and exhibited excellent humor.

Drops you off literally a 2 minute walk away from the village. Brilliant location. The whole experience of the train was incredible. From cowboy shows to just great views. The gentleman in our carriage was incredible.

The most efficient, entertaining way to reach the Grand Canyon. Our PSA, Teryl, was a wonderful host that was full of stories and historical nuggets during the whole ride. Not to mention, a great bartender. We will be back!!

This is worth every penny. It's a bit pricy at $30 per person until you're alive what you get. A self guided driving tour, then a walking zoo, and Moore! The animals are well maintained and the park itself is a sight! I would recommend 10 out 10 every time.

This was my 4th or 5th visit to Bearizona, so I clearly enjoy it. It's fun for children and adults of all ages. The drive through portion is really neat with lots of animals to see while they are in their natural habitat. We drove through three times this visit so we could see different behaviors at different times of day. The walk through area is also great and they have a restaurant with good food, a bar and other drink and snack options, shopping and more animals to see!

This was a very unique and wonderful experience! My 12 year old and my 76 year old mom both enjoyed it equally! The price is a bit high but we thought it was worth it. We came on a Saturday in early November and all the food stores were closed. I wish there was a little more activity or perhaps there is earlier in the day. The animals were phenomenal and the staff were very friendly

Very impressed with Bearizona in Williams AZ. Had heard good things from friends who had been but was even more impressed after being there! Most impressed with variety of animals and with the enclosures. In the drive through section, you get a close up look at black bears and Arctic wolves roaming freely throughout their habitat but feel very safe inside your vehicle. And the grizzly bears along the walking trail were very active and the story of their rescue was great to learn about.

A highlight of my trip to Arizona! It was so cool getting up close and personal (from within a car) to bears, deer, bison and more! The animals were calm and weren't stressed by being close to vehicles. You could even drive through the various areas as many times as you wanted to! The walk-through area was great too - the animals were active and obviously well cared for. The few that were sleeping looked very comfortable! The zookeepers seemed very well trained and were passionate about the animals. 10/10, would easily recommend!

Bearizona one of out favorite places to visit. You can drive through a path way and see all the wild life. Windows must remain up. After you can park and walk around the wild life zoo. We went in December and it was cold. Something to keep in mind. They have souvenir shops and café/ restaurants. This is the perfect activity for families and all ages.

What an Amazing Park! Drive through at your pace. See the animals up close & take fabulous pictures. The walk through is just as Amazing. The habitats are made so you can see the animals. What's great, is you can drive through again if you choose.

There are no words. The emotions I felt getting to the top are indescribable. I truly felt the energy. The climb was difficult but well worth the entire experience. Don't forget to go to the left at the end of the trail for another part!

Loved our experience hiking there. To be noted it is pretty steep going up and coming down, and yet totally worth the climb. 💕Beautiful scenery from the top!

Got there on a Tuesday morning in late Oct at 7 am. Found plenty of spots in the additional parking. The hiking is very fun and challenging! Don’t be scared of the little tunnels at the tail! It’s only a small portion of the whole trail. If you can climb up, then there is no problem going down! Turn left to find the platform at the end of the trail!

We started at the Baldwin trail. Parking was $5. It was lovely, shaded and refreshing.

The breathtaking sunset views up there are absolutely worth the effort!! It wasn’t super difficult as I was hiking in a group and I only needed to follow the footing of people in the front which helped a lot. If I were to figure out the submitting route myself, it would have been horrifying. It’s about half a mile going up with 600+ ft elevation gain. It took about 30 mins to go up and about 20 mins to go down so I recommend start descending right away after sunset(if you are here for the sunset view) to have enough date light while scrambling down. I highly, highly recommend wearing shoes with good grips as that will make this adventure much safer. Parking becomes impossible within one hour of the sunset time.

Beautiful view worth the climb. 600 ft of vertical climb in .5 mile distance can be a bit challenging. If you wear proper shoes shouldn't be a problem. Dont do it in wet conditions. If its raining or expected to rain its better avoid it.

It is a short but demanding hike up some steep sections, including some rock scrambling up to the base of the cathedral rock… Spectacular views and great workout .. I highly recommend go early morning and beat the crowds…

The Devil’s Bridge Trail leads to natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area. It’s a popular must to do hike and one can go on the bridge for the views. We did the Mescal Trailhead and keep hydrating thru out the hikes

My favorite place in Sedona. The trail is long and we went there with 7 years old. I recommend to go there as early as you can, so it will be not hot, not crowded and you will see sunrise 🤩. The trail is not very hard except last 5 minutes. There are some high steps over there, but the view is amazing. The line to take a picture is long but it goes pretty fast.

The trail itself is absolutely beautiful and there are many scenic spots to stop and take photos of the whole valley below. The only unfavorable thing was the lack of available parking, even on an overcast day during the off season. The bridge itself was majestic though, and the trail is not too difficult until the very end (which was mostly because the rocks were slick with mud). Overall, the hike definitely won't disappoint, nor is it too difficult for non-hikers to do.

Beautiful hike; we went at sunrise. Saw some wild pigs and a tarantula along the way. Went early in the morning, so light crowd. The hike was easy; the climb up to the bridge was moderate. Take plenty of water.

What a hike! One of the best. Did it on a weekday late evening so it was very less crowded. The views are amazing and the hike is medium to hard.

One of the best easy hikes. I came with my family, and it’s a good hike with kids. My nephews were able to do it, and they’re not outdoorsy kids, but they were able to walk. From the parking lot all the way to the bridge, we took about 3 hours total (round trip). I've got to say it's worth the hike, bro, with no water, snacks, or proper hiking shoes.

From the closest parking lot the bridge is about 4 miles round trip. The bridge has a long line to take a photo so be prepared to wait. I got their at sunrise and there was already about 15 people in line. Great hike with amazing views the whole time. Can’t go wrong!

Easily one of the most wonderful stops we made on our trip. We spent time here enjoying the views and peaceful vibe. Everything from the drive in to the walk up the ramp was stunning. Once you reach the entry you are greeted by friendly staff. I can understand why it has so many good reviews. We picked up some items from the amazing ladies in the gift shop and enjoy part of a mass. The gift shop had things packed into every available space so take your time and you’ll find something for sure. Most are religious items, however there are many items that were not. So many people showed for mass, they placed chairs outside to maximize the amount of people who could enjoy it. Parking is a bit tricky, with only a few handicapped spaces, and the walk uphill once you find a spot made people a bit frustrated - I would suggest trying to find a slow time. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty busy. I have to assume earlier weekdays would be better. You can drop people who can’t do the uphill walk at the top of the hill but getting a vehicle turned around and back down can be tough and take a bit. They have team members on golf carts if you can get one! Take a small car if you can!

Major shout out to Chapel of the Holy Cross you’re truly setting the bar for excellence thank you to all those that maintain the grounds and for have handicap accessible parking. This Chapel is alive with the energy of God, beautiful place to come and pray and see very beautiful scenic view.. if you’re doing cross country trips or just visiting Sedona, Arizona I highly recommend that you put this on your bucket list of places to see as well worth the trip

Parking is very limited. As well as safely getting a good picture. Be safe taki.g photos below the road. The insode of the church is very small. They do allow you to come inside and talk to God. There's a smal gift shop below. The views of sedon is beautiful at the top of the church

Beautiful place with stunning views and a well-known tourist destination. Parking: Free parking is available either right outside the chapel or at the lower level, with golf carts available to take visitors to the top (free service, accept tips). You can drive up and park if a spot is open, or return to the lower lot if full. There is also a Sedona shuttle connect service that takes guests to the top, providing another great option. Kudos to the staff for their excellent efforts in managing and assisting visitors despite the limited parking availability.

I went on a busy Saturday, but still found a parking spot in one of thier 2 small parkings lots. You park below and walk up the street or the labeled dirt trail, and there is about 5 disabled parking spots at the top..... plenty of room to get in and walk around the Chapel and gift shop downstairs, without waiting. You can walk up the the front of the Chapel, once inside and see the Jesus footprints in Bronze. Be sure to get lots of scenic pics on both sides, when outside by the Chapel. Worth the quick stop, it was free and it took me about 30-45 min. Worth of time to see.

Nice place to stop and visit. It was packed with people so we ended up parking on the lower section and took the trail up to see everything. Short little hike but not all that difficult. Nice walking path to get to the Chapel. Amazing location / views with all that surrounds it.

Cool loop hike, with good views of Sedona and the surrounding rock from the trail. It's a nice way to see the area from a higher viewpoint while on a hike. Very urban, you don't ever feel you are really "in nature" but I would still recommend it as a way to get a quick visual tour of the area. Another nice place to watch the sunset without having to go very far. You can just hike up as far as you want and then sit down on the grassy hillside (some parts are more tree-covered that others).

Beautiful. We ended every day watching the sunset and started every morning watching the sunrise. Breathtaking every time. Must do both at least once. It gets busy so show up early for both.

Beautiful at sunset. Get there early so you have time to park and hike up to the top. We really felt the energy of the vortex. My friend and I were sitting beside each other and had a completely different experience. Highly recommend! When it gets dark, it gets dark so bring a headlamp. Perfect spot for stargazing!

The steps up could be a little much for the elderly but it's a really cool trail. Had an info map of the views you could walk towards. Have a view of the east and west side of the mountain. I'm sure there are more to see following the trails around but we kept it simple which was plenty awesome. Doesn't have the most parking but has an area with a few spots. You'll enjoy this spot. Close to town but really cool view

If you’re trying to see the sunset at the mesa. I’d recommend arriving early. The lower parking fills up and is very small. The hike from the here is easy and there are handrails to help you reach the top. The upper parking is much larger and is $3. There is a gravel area across from this parking where you can see the sunset, too. I’d recommend this view for anyone that is not able to walk too far. If you park at the gravel lot, you can walk a moderate trail to the mesa, which can be found at the front right side of the lot, if you are facing out towards the city. Be aware that both of these viewing spots get CROWDED. I was expecting it to be quieter as I had heard about people going out there to meditate/ experience the vortexes. Very few people are doing that. It is mostly people talking loudly, children screaming, people on speakerphone calls, etc. We went both at the sunset and at sunrise to try to have a serene experience, but it was just not possible. If you are there to just see the views it is great, but you will not have a quiet time in nature. I would’ve enjoyed this more if I had known beforehand.

Canyons are always awe-inspiring, and it’s remarkable to think how nature has shaped and preserved them over time for us to experience today. This beautiful red rock canyon is no exception, with green accents adding contrast to the dramatic landscape. Though I didn’t visit in the early morning, I imagine that would be an ideal time for birding. The bridge connecting Sedona and Oak Creek Trail is especially breathtaking, a short span, but perfectly positioned to take in the views. It also serves as a convenient access point for several excellent hiking trails, including the Huckaby Trail and Wilson Mountain Trail, both offering stunning vistas and immersive nature experiences. A scenic spot well worth a stop.

Stunnninly beautiful place!! Wouldn't go fish there again but def will hike down. The access point is marked with a sign that states "water access" and then there are steps half concrete half boulder

Stumbled across this great hiking area totally by chance. There are several crossings where it would help if you had a hiking stick. Trail markers are generally good but having alltrails app def a big plus. End of trail a bit anticlimactic but the way there is super exciting and moderating challenging. Plenty of mini water crossing on wood or ice depending on time of year. Would def come back again.

Great place to go swimming and do family water activities. The water was quite clear, and very cool. There were other people there but not so many it was crowded, we went on a Monday.

This beautiful creek was at the end of the trail of Grasshopper Point. It was PEACEFUL and Serene. Nobody around. You can tan and relax or enjoy the very still water.

Went today, it says closed but Mike saw us taking pictures outside and was nice enough to let us in and give us the tour. They give tours but plan to open in full in the summer. Great place!

My first time to the planes of Fame Museum in Arizona. Saw quite a few aircraft that I've never seen up close before. But I never expected to see a aircraft with 3rd Marine Air Wing markings where I was stationed right next to a A7 Corsair with tail markings from my brother's Squadron in China Lake. What a coincidence to have two aircraft side by side one for my brother's Squadron one from my Squadron when we were in the service 30 years ago. Take the tram tour as the guys are very helpful and informational on every aircraft that we asked about. And if you see one that catches your eye after you get off the tram you can walk over to it for closer inspection. I cannot wait to take my grandkids there along with my brother and show him the two aircraft sitting side-by-side from our squadrons.

Very cool place to visit! Lots of well done displays inside. If you love aviation and history give it a try. $10 per person to enter, small gift shop, and even some shade covered parking spots.

We stopped here on our recent trip to Flagstaff. We are very happy that we did, even though the sky did not cooperate during our visit. They have a few very nice telescopes that they let the public view through. The history of the facility is just as impressive. I had no idea this facility is where the dwarf planet Pluto was discovered. There are a lot of nice displays and exhibits to interact with. The staff were all great. The shows in the auditorium were fun and informative. We definitely recommend stopping in and checking the place out.

What a wonderful place to visit for the whole family! Toddler play room, interactive room for all ages, demos and talks. Looks like these guys thought of it all. Very beautiful campus to walk around. Definitely go see different telescopes they have and take a look at the sun and the sun spots during the day. Make sure to come back at night because this place is happening! You will see a variety of celestial object in the sky through telescopes and with a naked eye. Make sure to ask questions. Everybody who works here is super friendly and will gladly engage in a conversation about all space matters ❤️

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was absolutely amazing. I live in Colorado and I have no problem making the 8 Hour Dr. back exclusively to visit this place. The staff is wonderful, the amenities are very nice and clean, it’s incredibly family, friendly, and well designed, and the night viewing is fantastic. One of my favoriteplaces I’ve ever gone to.

My first visit was a fantastic experience! The live constellation show, while an additional cost, felt like a worthwhile investment for a complete nighttime experience. There are plenty of exhibits to explore, making it easy to spend a lot of time on the grounds. The auditorium show was a definite highlight, with the immersive elements truly enhancing the sense of scale. For those planning a visit, I'd highly recommend checking the moon phase beforehand, especially if you're interested in the rooftop observation. When the moon was nearly full, it made spotting constellations more challenging, as they were often positioned behind us, away from the observation area. It was also difficult to see the guide's laser pointer due to the bright light. Planning around the moon's cycle could help you get the most out of this particular part of the program."

WOW. That's all ai have to say about the updates and new visitor center. I took my family today and had a wonderful experience. The exhibits are educational, but so much more! They are interactive with sensory based learning, and everyone left with new knowledge. I have always recommended Lowell and now I can be even more enthusiasts about it. Bravo.

This place is amazing. Astronomy lovers and sci-fi fans will really love this place! The presentation and star gazing was awesome and I even saw a couple shooting stars. The exhibits are cool and the kids area was incredible. The staff were nice and very knowledgeable. I even looked at some distant planets with some massive telescopes!

My 9 year old daughter is obsessed with space. This place was great!! We didn't make it early enough for tickets to the outdoor planetarium which was a bummer. We had a great time walking around the grounds at night, looking through the telescopes and playing in the play zone. The inside exhibits are very informative. The smells are the best and worst! I feel like I can still smell one in particular weeks later. 😂 I wish there was better organization at the group of outdoor telescopes. And maybe better signage or markers between the Clark and the indoor exhibits. We still made it where we needed to go but I could see how it'd be easy to get lost or end up somewhere you don't belong. All in all it was an amazing visit. We showed up around 8pm on a Friday night and it was definitely busy. But the skies were clear and the weather was nice. We'll absolutely be back. Especially since Lowell participates in the Museums For All program.

Snowbowl in Flagstaff is always a great time during snow season! If you’re looking for family fun, the gondola ride is a must. For those who love snowboarding or skiing, the slopes are fantastic—just be mindful, your speed can pick up pretty quickly. Even if you’re not hitting the slopes, the atmosphere alone makes it worth the trip. And if you happen to forget something, their shop has everything you need to make the most of your snow day. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I’ve ever given a review that’s not five stars—and unfortunately, it’s due to the worst customer service I’ve received, especially from a manager, at the Snowbowl Store next to the Gondola ride. On September 28th, our group of five came for the Gondola scenic ride. It was raining and cold, but our excitement to see the mountain wasn’t dampened. As season pass holders, we visit often in the winter and were eager to see the fall colors. However, we underestimated how cold it would be that day. The ride operator kindly told us that the store sold blankets and jackets, so we went inside. I printed our passes and purchased a blue blanket (around $20 and it just had a price sticker with no tag tied on it, it’s probably returned by someone but I didn’t give it much thought) and two jackets (around $240 total). We placed our water bottles and an extra jacket we’d brought into the large bag given to us, went up the ride, and enjoyed what little scenery we could see—it was foggy but still a nice experience. We planned to come back later if the weather cleared up. After coming down, I remembered that we never used the blanket, so I decided to ask if I could return it. The cashier politely asked if it had been used, and I said, “Not at all, since we ended up using the jackets.” She went to ask her manager, and while waiting, I picked up a few small items for the kids. When the manager came out, he asked, “Why did you buy the blanket?” I explained that it was in case it got too cold, but we forgot about it and never used it while feeling his judgement in his eyes. Then he said, “We are not runing a rental shop here. You know what I believe? I think you used it and now want to return it…” I was stunned by that accusation and said, “I swear to God, I did not use it.” He replied that it was not returnable—though there were no signs anywhere in the store stating that. I, suck at arguing, walked away soon after. If he had simply said from the start, “Sorry, we don’t accept returns,” I would have understood. I spent over $400 in that one hour between the jackets and lift tickets. I wouldn’t have minded the no-return policy for $20ish but the fact that he accused me of lying made it the worst experience I’ve ever had as a customer. I left angry and disappointed, telling myself I wouldn’t spend another penny there. Unfortunately, since I already purchased the 2026 season pass, I’ll have to return. Then a couple of days later I read in a holy writing that if someone wrongs you, forgive them immediately so I’ve made peace with this unpleasant experience. However, during a family dinner last weekend when my family asked about our trip and I shared the experience, they encouraged me to leave a review—so that this kind of behavior might be corrected. To be fair, most of the staff member we’ve met at Snowbowl over the years has been wonderful. We’ve had many great experiences skiing there with our kids… But you know what they say about one bad apple… I wouldn’t wish anyone to experience what we experienced… So watch out and hope you have a good time.

We had a fantastic time yesterday here . The area is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained too ! The hamburger and fries were delicious too . There were many activities for the whole family . Awesome customer service too . We will definitely be back soon . Have a blessed day 😇

We met a super friendly man here. He helped us to go from the ticket purchase place to the ski place 😍 You can shop the ticket both online and offline. Recommend to shop it online so you can go straight to the ski center.

I visited in early August to see the Aspen leaves flutter. It was extremely peaceful with beautiful views. The gondola was working but I didn’t try it. 100% you should make time to visit.

If you're looking for a great place to snowboard in Arizona, this is pretty much the only spot—but luckily, it's a solid one. I had an awesome time hitting the slopes with my friends. The runs are fun and well-maintained, with options for both beginners and more experienced riders. The views from the mountain are amazing, especially on a clear day. The rental process was smooth, and the staff was helpful. It can get a little crowded on weekends, but that’s expected at a popular spot. Overall, if you're in Arizona and want to snowboard, this is the place to go. Definitely recommend!

Visited the Arizona Snowball this August with my kids. We rode the gondolas to the top, got out and walked around for a bit, and took in the views. I had purchased my tickets earlier in the week and then noted before we headed up from Phoenix that the gondolas were on hold due to rain and lightning. The website said you could only get a rain check if you were present on site, so we drove up and hoped for the best. When we arrived the gondolas were still on hold. Customer service said that we could hang out and wait to see if they open up as the lightning seemed to have moved on or get a refund on a gift card to use in the future or other activities on site. Because there were other activities we decided to hang out. We purchased snow cones, played in the hamster wheel and poked around the gift shops. There was an event going on with a live band, a restaurant and a section that was for 21 and up only. They also had a bungee trampoline, and downhill tubing slides for kids. The gondolas did open up within about 30 minutes and we were good to go even with it sprinkling. The views from the top were beautiful. It seemed there were some hiking trails but they were closed presumably due to the rain and lightning.

The rangers and volunteers here are so kind and sweet. Loved this park so much. Love that its less crowded too. Ive been to a few with native dwellings. I plan to see all of them. This one is in the top 3. Beautiful views.

The history here is incredible, what a great place to visit. You need to know that it is not a quick in and out if you want to hike the whole trail, and there are a billion, or maybe 10 billion stairs. 😄 But it really is a good hike, read up on it a bit before you go so you can see the significance of this awesome place. The visitors center has restrooms, information, and a small gift shop. There is the Rim trail also which is shorter and flat, in case the stairs are an issue. Plenty of parking too, I highly recommend.

Wulnut Canyon was a surprise for me and I would recommend to visit this place. Amazing walk and tour through the Canyon. There's a parking place on the front and you pay the National Park entrance fee what is valid for next 7 days if you visit again or other things in National Park. It's not valid for the Grand Canyon, you pay for that separately.

A wonderful experience exploring ancient cliff dwellings in a spectacular setting. Great visitor center with helpful park staff to learn about the villages and the people who once lived there. There are two paved trails, The Rim Trail with great overviews, and the Island Trail, which was my favorite. The Island Trail has more than 700 steps, and it takes you right up to the dwellings.

A Hidden Gem on the Road: Walnut Canyon National Monument During a road trip, we discovered Walnut Canyon National Monument by surprise, and it turned out to be a truly beautiful and unexpected place. It's a slice of nature that hides from the highway, revealing a spectacular landscape with ancient ruins. A Place to Explore and Enjoy: The park is very well-organized and maintained. The facilities are clean, including the restrooms, and the staff is very friendly. Although it was a quick visit for us, we realized it's a place where you can stay as long as you like. There's a picnic area with breathtaking views of the canyon, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The site has a visitor center, a souvenir shop, and, most notably, trails that lead down into the canyon. These paths allow visitors to get a closer look at the ruins, which are like "houses" built into the canyon walls by past civilizations. Although we didn't have time to do these hikes, they looked safe and well-marked. A Worthwhile Destination: In summary, Walnut Canyon National Monument is a tranquil and beautiful place that is definitely worth visiting. It's a perfect addition to a road trip and a gem we hope to explore with more time in the future.

Absolutely beautiful place! The scenery is breathtaking and the trails are very well maintained. A special thank you to Ranger Lucy — she was so kind, caring, and incredibly patient with us, even though we arrived about 20 minutes before closing time. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel so welcome. Her dedication truly made our visit extra special. Highly recommend visiting this gem!

Walnut Canyon National Monument is absolutely stunning. It does not require a long hike and you can take in so much of the canyon with just a short walk. The staff here was so friendly and helpful. The views were stunning and very much worth stopping by.

Grandview Point at the Grand Canyon is one of the most breathtaking viewpoints you’ll ever see in your life. 🏜️✨ The name says it all — the view is truly grand. Standing there, you feel the full scale and silence of the canyon — endless layers of color, light, and shadow stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s one of those places that makes you stop, forget about everything, and just breathe. This spot is less crowded than some of the more popular overlooks like Mather Point, which makes it even more special. You can actually hear the wind and the echo of the canyon. It’s perfect for sunrise or sunset — the light completely transforms the landscape. 🌅 There’s also a hiking trail starting from here (the Grandview Trail), but it’s quite steep, so make sure you have proper shoes and water if you decide to go down. If you want to truly feel the spirit of the Grand Canyon — vast, timeless, and humbling — Grandview Point is the place. Absolutely unforgettable. 💫

Amazing view and all the different colors are so pretty. The EF bus tour has been fabulous getting us around during this government shutdown.

Breathtaking. This place is so beautiful as how nature was able to create this canyon. I am so happy to come here and look at this. The colors and layers and everything over the years and years. My words is not enough to describe it. I would say please visit this place once at very least.

Great views, especially in the early morning. Nice paths to have a walk. There are a lot of squirrels.

This is an amazing viewpoint for the south rim! Parking is great and fir those with some agility you can wander down the trail for unobstructed views. This is a popular spot so expect lots of people

It was nice to see a wider view than the one seen at Mather Point. And because there are relatively few people, it was good to take pictures.

Highly recommend for visiting! It was very interesting to see really crater and visited museum and trued astronauts foods… Nice point!

Definitely one of my favorite parks. If you're going to be in the area, it's absolutely worth a stop. If you're looking for a spot to camp for free, basically all of the roads outside the park allow dispersed camping.

Beautiful crater with an interesting history as to its formation and magnitude. Trails at the base offer unique views.

Small, but wonderful park. It doesn't seem as over run with people as some ofvthe others. Very peaceful. It's a shame that so much of the park was burned in a fire in '22. Some of the trails are closed. Still some very interesting walks to take, getting up close the the lava. Beautiful views. Nice visitors center.

We were there on Dec. 4.2023. We had Ben hear back on April 2018. We found this place simply awesome . Seeing the lava flows. Around and the nice walk ways around the Crater part is really nice also have nice trials to walk on to . There where area when come in to park you can pull off and get a good Picture of the Sunset Crater . And the Mountains behind you when there they had snow on them . It was really pretty to see.

We love coming here, it's peaceful, has great trails and I love the "crunch- crunch" sounds when walking on the rocks of the lava flow. Beautiful!!

Very cool! Glad I stopped to see it. The have it set up nicely. Even though you can on go out so far (to prevent humans from damaging it) you still can see how everything was setup and the way of life. The visitors center has a lot of information and items to buy (I got a mug).

Awesome sunrise and sunset shoots at wukoki Pueblo. Great sunrise at the Wuptaki pueblo, barely any ppl here, lovely dark sky park for astrophotography, bathrooms at most Pueblos, easy walking distance to view each Pueblo.

We drive to the park, but the park was closed. Looking some structure, sink hole and beautiful view.

Very cool ruins. The house structure was neat and my husband was very impressed with the blow hole that blows cold air.

Wupatki is a well preserved gem and a must visit place if you're interested in ruins. It is a place that gives you a true sense of what living must have been like in the harsh environment of the area. Never crowded and easy to get to. You could explore here all day and not seeing everything

We decided to drive through Wupatki, Az. It was really amazing to see these structures that were built so long ago still standing. You are allowed to walk on the ruins. The natural blow hole was interesting. The hat kept getting stuck on the bill. The rangers were so nice and informative. We saw a raven and it was really friendly too . Haha

What a great experience, from the pueblos to being able to hike in a lava field, this was awesome!! The "mothers breath" vent that blew COLD air, I did not want to leave!

The Trading Post was such a convenient and beautiful place to stay! Easy off/easy on to Hwy 89. We were in the Hopi building, 3rd floor, and had a great view of the river. It was surprisingly quiet given that it is right on the highway. So nice to have the restaurant right next to the rooms. Really good food, extremely reasonable prices! Our server was so kind and helpful. The trading post had some very unique Native American crafts and art, plus a huge selection of touristy souvenirs. We were just passing through on this trip, but the next time we head to both rims of the Grand Canyon, we'll stay there again. Bonus: there is a post office on the grounds as well.

We stopped in for dinner/shopping during a road trip. The restaurant is decorated wonderfully with a beautiful tin ceiling and native art hanging everywhere. The building is historic and feels amazing to spend time in a place so many other souls have passed thru while traveling. Take time to see all the beautiful art in the shop as well- these artists are so talented!! It should be a museum.

My Lady has never had a Navajo Taco. Cameron Trading Post serves the BEST Tacos in the area, so we took a little trip out for her to experience them first hand!! The food was AMAZING, and the rustic decor and views are worth checking out!! The gift shop is also amazing offering just about anything you would want, and even several things you didn’t know you wanted or need too!! Great place to stop for great food and also things to remember the trip through!!

We went to the restaurant. The flavors were amazing, the staff were pleasant, and the service was fast! We ordered the Navajo taco, prickly pear chicken, and the prickly pear drinks. 10/10 would recommend all of it! It’s also a beautiful dining area with a s s unset view of the mountain!

We Always stop here for lunch when we're up in the area. All the staff are friendly!! Lots of items in the large gift shop are made by the local Navajo/Hopi tribes...beautiful items & I always find something to buy for myself or as a gift. I love the Indian Fry Bread!! Did I say how much I like the staff?? Very lovely people...Always! We've been here numerous times since moving to the Verde Valley last year & we'll keep coming back. Dining room is very large so they can accommodate large groups, plenty of staff to take care of all the customers.

It was a recommended visit for reliable and authentic navajo jewelry. Jeff, Theresa, and a manager (who's name i can't remember!) Were awesome. I found a navajo pearl bracelet that I had been looking for but it was too big. Jeff immediately asked his mgr if it could be re beaded and then shipped to me. Theresa was more than willing to help and they all made it happen. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable with the pieces and stones that they sell and even shared with me how he has started making his own jewelry and silversmithing, which was beautiful. I couldn't have been more pleased with meeting him and finding exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely stop in when I'm in the area again.

I just stopped at the Cameron Trading Post restaurant, and honestly, I wasn't super impressed. The food was nothing special and the fries were quite bland. The Trading Post was very out of the way and I had about an hour of a drive just to get there. Much of the jewelry in the shop was greatly overprices, but a very large selection.

Truly beautiful area that clearly shows the scale that the USA has to offer. The ride along the beautiful cliffs is possibly long, but it is a fantastic place to drive.

A spectacular journey through some beautiful landscapes in Northern Arizona. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through the area or visiting the Grand Canyon and other areas near Paige or Flagstaff. Visited in May 2024.

Without question, driving to Vermillion Cliffs on Rt 89A from Kanab to Rt 89 to Horseshoe Bend and Page, was the best motorcycle ride!! Truly unbelievable, unmatched beauty and scenery everywhere you look. Pictures and videos do little justice to this beautiful ride. Must do if staying in Kanab area like we did!!

A beautiful park but beware of the Cathedral Wash hike by Lee's Ferry - you do almost as much climbing as you do walking!

We walked the wire pass trail, it worth every step! We love this canyon more than the famous Antelope. Strongly recommended!

“Absolutely stunning area with wild, dramatic desert landscapes. The colors of the rocks and cliffs are unbelievable, especially around sunrise and sunset. There aren’t many services, so you need to bring plenty of water, gas, and snacks, and some of the roads are rough or unpaved. Permits are required for certain hikes like The Wave, but even just driving through and stopping at viewpoints is worth it. If you love wide‑open spaces and unique scenery, this place is unforgettable

We had an awesome tour guide - Jennifer Whiterock - who walked us out and showed us what was what and told us stories about the finds. We saw a lot of really cool things, and she encouraged us to touch the bones, stand on them, etc - there is no other place I have ever been or very likely will - who would let you do that. Our guide brought a water bottle to add water to the finds to make them more visible. She made sure we were okay to continue exploring in the heat when a member was falling behind. She is so sweet. Be respectful of where you are. This belongs to the Navajo, and they chose to share this with you. Do not take bones or stones. Leave the environment as you find it. Listen to the stories and learn. Our guide told us payment was up to us, that we could pay as we saw fit. We bought some jewelry from her as well. If you can't pay, it's fine. Obviously, if you can, please do. This is a treasure they are sharing. Let your children see the wonders, even if you can't afford it. This is a once in a lifetime experience.

There are an abundance of tracks, and they look really cool with the red dirt water in them. Our guide was Jennifer. She told us where to park and greeted us when we got out. Her guiding style was show and identify a track, then walk to the next one and wait for us to take our pics and catch up to her. One track she said was a brontosaurus, and knowing better, I can say that it was not. But didn’t comment to her about the error. About 200’ into the tour, she declared that she was too hot, and returned to the jewelry stands. It wasn’t very hot that day, and she had a sweatshirt on that she could have taken off. So the tracks were really neat, but the interaction with our guide was sorely lacking. We gave her a good tip anyway, just because.

Well worth the stop! Orlando Whitestone was my guide when I was there and was incredibly knowledgeable! I highly recommend accepting a tour from a guide; they’ll point out the best tracks, fossilized eggs, fossilized dung piles, and point out the ancient river beds. The guides work off donations, $10-20 is a good range to tip for their service.

What a cool thing to see. So random, at first you're wondering if you're going to the right place. Middle of nowhere, sign that says dinosaur tracks. You just pull in and drive up to where the Natives have their little jewelery huts. Donate what you want for them to give you a tour, because they know where all the best tracks are. Tip heavily, they deserve it. They stand out in the heat all day. If it was bought out by some company and made into an attraction, you'd be paying a lot. I appreciate it being in its natural state.

Interesting and very cool. A local Navajo guided us through the place, showing us the different dinosaur footsteps (about 10-15 minutes). If you need a small break from driving or just like dinosaurs, this is a great place.

The site itself is very interesting and worth stopping to see — there are real dinosaur track fossils here. In particular, the large three-toed tracks found in this area are consistent with Dilophosaurus, a real early Jurassic theropod that lived in this region around 190 million years ago. That part is accurate and scientifically supported. However, just a note about the guided explanations: the guides here are local individuals, not trained paleontologists, and some of the information offered can be incorrect. For example, we were told that there were T. rex and Velociraptor footprints here, but that is not possible — those dinosaurs lived over 100 million years later, in much younger rock layers than the ones at this site. So those particular claims were not accurate. My recommendation: Enjoy the site for what it truly is — a rare chance to see authentic Dilophosaurus-era tracks in the open desert. Just take the spoken explanations with caution and look up the scientific details afterward if you’re curious. Overall: Great stop, real footprints, but verify the dino facts independently.

What a wonderful experience!!! Connie was an amazing host who is patient and vey thoughtful. She shared accurate accounts of the dinosaurs and beautiful expressions of her culture.
