We got free ticket to the museum through our local library. The museum isn’t that big, but it was fun! They have a downstairs area that is a replica of a western town in the 1800s.

I discovered this when looking over the culture passes at my local library and I am so happy we chose this. We are fortunate to be less than an hour from here and that makes a great day trip. The museum staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They take such pride in their museum and such joy in sharing it with others. I'm excited to see them expand and look forward to visiting in the future.

The gift shop is nearby and a great place to pick up gift items. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend a stop here. (Sigler is their new name)

This museum is awesome. They have beautiful photos and awesome videos. But th best part is down stair their set up is amazing! We enjoyed it very much. 😊

The top portion is just an art gallery...but just wait until you go downstairs into an interactive section of the museum with recreation of buildings, a holograms in a recreation of a general store, a recreation of one of the smallest bars in America, and a saddle you can sit on. Be warned, you are able to fall out of the saddle if you don't balance yourself correctly. Overall a great Western museum that excels most in historical recreations. Staff was also nice and helpful!

An absolutely pleasant experience. I've been to Wickenburg, Arizona many times. This was the first time I went to the museum. Most of all the volunteers were kind and helpful. They had a wonderful Cowgirl exhibit and art show, but don't forget to check out their downstairs blast from the past.

BEST place to see western art pieces! I definitely did not expect any of what I saw in the museum. The museum is pretty large with different exhibits. The sculptures are genius and so are the paintings! The downstairs was also incredibly interesting. The different displays they had give you some insight on the town of Wickenburg and its beginnings and was so insightful.

Gorgeous weather for hiking. Shady, breezy, quiet, peaceful, great exercise, mostly safe paths but be careful hiking up to the lookout. I had a walking stick. I saw a pair of mallards swimming along searching for food, hummingbirds, dragonflies, small butterflies, geckos, cottonwood seeds floating by like snow, and rippling streams. Much less water than I’ve seen in the past but still a thriving ecosystem.

It's an easy walking trail, great for seniors! Pointless trail keep crossing itself and goes nowhere, feels like time loop with all the dead trees, half eaten by termite infestation! 10 bucks entrance, an hour drive each way and bit of a disappointment is what you need to expect!

Today we found ourselves out in Wickenburg again to Check out Hassayampa River Preserve. There are seven trails located here. Most a little under a mile, but if you do as we did and do all of them you’re definitely getting your workout in. There are benches throughout and plenty of shade. Definitely bring your water though because it’s already over 90. Hassayampa is home to over 280 species of birds living, nesting or migrating through the area. I wish we would’ve seen one of the many hawks who frequent there, but unfortunately didn’t today. The height of some of the trees and such were crazy. The Cottonwood Trees made it look like it was snowing on some parts of the trails with their cotton like seed/fluff and the Willows were awesome too. We spent hours here. There are spots to sit, listen and enjoy the scenery of the Hassayampa River. Fun fact the 100 or so miles the river flows are mostly underground and can only be seen here where it flows freely. One other thing I really enjoyed was the old payphone strategically placed near one of the trails closer to the water. They called it a wind phone. If you don’t know what that is it’s a disconnected phone often placed in a nature setting where you can “call” a deceased loved one offering a way to help with grief and remembrance. A concept that originated in Japan. What a great way to maybe let out things that were left unsaid. Anyhow this 770 acre preserve is definitely worth checking out. If you have a maricopa county park pass it gets you in with no fee.

Great quick family morning trip. You will enjoy short walks "hikes" that will range in challenge levels. About 4 or 5 short trails. Children 13 and above would best be able to enjoy the idea of staying on the path and only visually admiring the beauty of the untouched preserve. Detailed nature lovers will go wild when they visit here.

Great experience for all ages. Alot of educational materials in the visitor center. The kids had a great time finding all the items on the scavenger hunt. We also saw many birds. We were able to use the stroller easily on the different trails but not on the short trail up the mountain. I also purchased my annual Regional Park Pass while there.

I came here on a Sunday morning. I had a great time. The trails have lots of shade. I saw many birds and wildlife. The ranger was super friendly. There are many benches along all of the trails to take a break and to look for birds.

White Tanks park is only seven dollars to get in and they have some good trails for the family to enjoy. My wife and I took or two boys there and they have kid friendly and wheel chair accessible trails. Overall a great park. Will be returning soon.

Attended a group campout here. (We reserved a group site. ) Hadn't been out here since they paved the roads. Guessing that was 40 years ago since my last visit. Park is clean and well maintained. Bathroom and showers were clean which was great because I visited during the government shutdown and wasn't sure if the funding issues were affecting state and county parks. Lots of places to picnic and camp. Camping is 22.00 a night (dry camping. No hookups). Now that the weather is cooler, I'll definitively be back.

Beautiful scenery. And if you go the day after it rains, you can hike the waterfall trail and see a little arizona waterfall. Great place, plethora of public restrooms, well-kept and maintained roads, nice staff, and definitely a place to visit to hike, camp, and bike.

I love coming to the White Tanks when I'm in town visiting family. I'm an archaeologist and an avid birdwatcher. This park is great for both of those interests. The petroglyphs are beautiful and well preserved. The wildlife pond is great for birdwatching. It's only a 0.2 mile walk there and back. The trail is well maintained and very flat. There is one bench about halfway down the trail, and a few benches once you reach the pond. I saw six new species of birds today, which aren't found in my local area!

The White Tanks have always been a family favorite to hike, have a picnic, and clear your head etc. The trails are varied and can go from easy to very rustic. It doesn't matter whether you go on a sunny day or cloudy day, it's always worth it to get out into nature. Always bring more water than you think you'll need, as it's better to be prepared. Dog friendly, you see many along the trails, with people of all ages. The restrooms are always clean, and the picnic areas ready to be enjoyed as well. Grab a map if you have been here from the entry where you pay, and explore our beautiful state. Wildlife abounds, so be mindful and respectful as you might encounter critters and snakes. No need to be afraid, just be cautious of your surroundings. Stunning views, will not disappoint!

Right now is the best time of year to go hiking! I went on the waterfall trail today. It is so well maintained and the views are amazing!!

It was somewhat of a good environment for a local spring training fan like myself, but could ask better! Not enough shade for a small stadium, seats are not really comfortable and is a tight squeeze, and the food was disappointing! Overall, I think this stadium should go under a renovation to draw more attention for fans, especially since Surprise Stadium is far out west!

Great experience and a well kept stadium! The field is very nice. There was lots of staff and cops directing traffic for parking and leaving which helps with the crowd control. The line moved quickly getting into the stadium. We sat behind home plate which was really nice. The food prices are a little outrageous for a spring training game. $11 for a corn dog? You need to bring a clear purse or bag if it’s larger than a clutch.

Large concourse nice good stands. Prices are a little high for certain things. The teams stores lack big time. Not near as big as they should be. Great views on your seats. If you want to see your favorite players I suggest spending the extra money and getting a little closer to home plate. The out grass areas are wonderful and plenty of room if you have little ones to run around.

Always a pleasant venue to watch spring training baseball. The staff is friendly and helpful and parking is free. Easy to get in and out of the stadium too. Watched the Angels-Royals game and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Came to watch the Rangers and the Cubs in Surprise for the 1st time. Great time and for any good spring training game get here an hour or more before 1st pitch to avoid traffic. It was a blast a recommend for any baseball fan to come check out a spring training game.

Went for dog night. My pup enjoyed his time there, staff was friendly we got a lot of compliments on his behavior. The concession lines were long and it’s a bummer that they don’t sell chicken and hot dogs in the same line. Wish they had more dog nights.

Be sure to ask for Autographs Been promising my son that we’d come out for Spring Training for nearly ten years. We finally made it and have been pleasantly surprised. If you arrive a little early, there’s no traffic and free parking just across the street. Security with their metal detectors and bag checks (clear-bag rule in effect) were quick and efficient, and the electronic ticket-takers were all working smoothly, so entering the stadium took only moments. There is plenty of staff, who all seemed friendly and frequently asked how they could help. Surprise Stadium is small and intimate (like a minor league park), but is in tip-top shape, with everything bright, clean and in working-order. It has an excellent design to maximize the whole ball-park experience. The seats are all close to the action so don’t worry if you can’t get a seat in the front rows. It is small enough to get in close to the players for a chance at a photo or autograph. My son and I were able to persuade several “big-name” starters to sign our caps / gloves. We were lucky enough to get tickets close to the dugout and felt right in the middle of the action. We were right up close to all the starters and quite a few AAA hopefuls. Great ball park food - brats, dogs, fries, beer (cans and draught), fries, nachos, all at (typical) ball-park prices. Food and drink vendors are located in the shaded area just behind the seats. There are plenty of vendors so I was frequently first in line, and never waited more than 2-3 people. The cashless payment system was quick and easy. The bathrooms are conveniently placed with plenty of stalls / sinks for easy in and out. The new MLB rules sped up the pace of play, so the action never lagged. The final out was only 2-1/2 hours after first pitch. A great experience overall. It is in the bright Arizona sun, so bring sunscreen and a hat. Like a minor league game with major league players. We will be back!

Lovely zoo with aquarium, restaurants and animal encounters. It also has a few rides and tours. We went today, 9/8/2025, and it absolutely as dead as could be. The heat was oppressive (but we knew it would be) and most of the attractions were for the summer. We pretty much had the place to ourselves and we really enjoyed our visit. We will be back in the Fall and in the Winter. We watched the Sea Lion show and we're lucky enough to see every big cat in action. The tram ride was wonderful and provided a great little break from walking. Our guide was great! The knowledgeable staff was friendly and available. The only thing that keeps this review from being a 5 is the lack of seating throughout the park and the aquarium. But, truly an absolutely awesome experience!

We had a nice morning here at the zoo. It's larger than we thought...you can walk for quite a while. We went to the sea lion show and it was a hoot. Penguin feeding was ok...not great. The aquarium part of the tour is good. There are 2 or 3 buildings with aquariums I believe. The hands on stingray tank is cool. They actually love to be touched. We learned they call this type of stingray "Puppies of the Sea" lol. There are some food places on site. We had some brisket at the BBQ place which was just ok. We purchased tickets on Groupon...I think we saved $6 per ticket.

We have been wanting to visit this park since we've moved to Arizona 3 years ago. Since it's located in the West Valley that's a big plus for us because we live in the West Valley and most of the fun attractions for kids are in the East Valley I require a long drive. I had a lot of observations about this venue which I will summarize with pros and cons PROS ~Lots to explore- Over 200 acres! ~Unique venue- zoo, aquarium, amusement park rides all in one ~ No crowds- This was our 1st visit. We went on a Sunday w/ beautiful weather. One person in our group said she had never experienced crowds in any of her many visits through the years ~ Sea Lion Show was very well done and included in admission ~ Lots of shade- which ia so nive on warmer days ~ Large variety of animals ~ Free Parking ~ Several restaurants CONS ~ Admission Price is on the high side ~ No family memberships ~ Walking pathways are dirt, so wear good walking shoes ~ No outside food allowed A Family membership plan for locals would be a great incentive to visit. Memberships that include rides would also be great. I would like to acknowledge EMPLOYEE TROY. He talked to us near the Kangaroo area, and told us all about the baby kangaroos. He was very professional, knowledgeable & friendly. Food was very good at the restaurant that we ate at called SLICE. Overall this was a 3.5 to 4.0 experience for me, but I am rounding up to 4.0, because there were a lot of positive things about our visit. Ultimately for local families I think that the high price is an obstacle. We are an extended family with four grandchildren and we are always looking for Great Value memberships locally that we can bring our grandkids to and enjoy throughout the year. It would be such a benefit to so many to create a family type of membership that would allow us to return on a regular basis at an affordable price. The ability to bring food in would also be great because a lot of families do like to pack food to save money. There are a lot of areas where picnic tables could be added. ~ Thank you for a memorable day!

If you are in or near Phoenix AZ I highly recommend stopping here. Although a lot of the enclosures were empty, there was still plenty to see. A lot of the animals were interactive. I like how they have an outdoor section on the right, then an aquarium section on the left. That way you can go back and forth to cool down. I’ve also been to zoos with snack stands but this one has actual restaurants. I believe only the pizza place was open. Which was good but not great for the price and size. I do wish they put more effort into the enclosures for the animals to cool down. Some just had a puddle of water and no shade. I was on the verge of a heat stroke so I can only imagine how hot some of these animals are in the summer. Overall it was a cool experience. You can feed giraffes, go up in the air over a bunch of enclosures, food and gift shops.

We had a really great time here today. Went on a Thursday in November and the weather was great, had a minimal crowd and virtually all the animals were out to see. We started on the right side of the park, walked back to have lunch at Dillons Bbq, which was delicious, and really enjoyed the huge fish tank in the restaurant. We then ventured around the aquarium park and finished up in Adventure Land where we took the tram tour, which I highly recommend. Spent about 5 hours in total at the zoo.

What a great zoo and aquarium. It seems to be slow but it was amazing to see the animals so up close. Monkeys are on little islands, peacocks are rooming freely. They have giraffe you can feed and various animal encounters too.

Great place to see wonderful animals and make memories with family and friends. You don't want to miss the opportunity to feed the giraffes, birds, fish, and goats - what a blast for my 4 year old granddaughter! If you really like going several times a year, be sure to get the membership. The membership pays for itself after 2 visits. There are refill cup options and reasonable food prices. There is also a nice restaurant attached to the zoo.

Had an awesome experience here with our bach trip! Our guide, Josh, was super chill and kept us laughing with his dad jokes the whole ride. The UTVs were great and the trails were super fun. Definitely would come back and do it again! * you do get SUPER dirty so make sure to bring clothes you don’t care about *

Arizona Outdoor Fun was an absolute blast! I honestly didn’t have high expectations since I’ve done ATV rides elsewhere that were just okay, but this experience completely exceeded them. The guided UTV tour, led by Austin, was incredible. We had multiple stops for breaks and photos, and the views were amazing. My friend and I did the Ride & Shoot combo, and it was our first time shooting a gun. The entire experience was so amazing, and Jesse was the best! He was patient, skilled, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Shooting for the first time was actually an emotional experience for me, but I’m so proud I faced that fear and I’m really glad Jesse was the one guiding me through it. Ask for Jesse and Austin next time you’re at Arizona Outdoor Fun!

He was hilarious, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe while still keeping things exciting. He shared fun facts about the area and had us laughing the entire ride! The UTVs were powerful and well-maintained, and the trails offered the perfect mix of scenic views and off-road adventure. It was the perfect balance of thrill and beauty. We had so much fun and made amazing memories. Highly recommend this tour — and definitely ask for Mayton if you can!

My husband and I did the Ancient Ruins 3 hr guided tour with Andrew at the New River location and it was A BLAST!! Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and easy-going. He made sure to answer any questions we had, brought plenty of water and his own "outdoor ac". The sites were absolutely beautiful and I loved seeing the ancient ruins from the Hohokam tribes (got to see donkeys too!!). We would absolutely recommend going!! Thank you Andrew for the best tour!!

Kicked off at 8am with the UTV tour. Austin was a great guide and being early birds meant we had the place to ourselves. Followed up with an absolute smorgasbord of weaponry with Adam. He took the time to explain everything and make sure that I was comfortable, truly made the experience unforgettable and I cannot recommend this place highly enough to anyone in the area! Did you really travel to America if you didn't shoot a .50 cal? Thanks again legends!!

2nd time doing ATVs here and it’s always super fun. We had to go on a guided tour instead of the unguided that we paid for due to congestion of riders, but our Guided Rider was amazing. He help take pictures of us and gave water too. Also gave us space to get fast and creative 😂. 10/10

Lorenzo, Bryan and Clay were very awesome! Lorenzo did are ATV tour with my husband and I, I was a little scared and he was really understanding about that. Plus Lorenzo took some fire photos of my husband and I. Bryan was very cool with the check in process and explaining the rules. Clay was very too and cool, my husband had great experience shooting the gun with Clay. Overall the experience was very enjoyable and yes we be back! Thank you guys for a great time.

Great way to see the Guardians, up close. We had seats behind home plate, though the last row so we could sit in the shade on an 82 degree day in February. Parking is convenient, easy access. Great view.

The best MLB spring training ballpark! It’s very family friendly. The tickets are reasonably priced, parking is easy, and the staff are wonderful!

Nice ballpark, clean restrooms, free parking and easy to get to. But please improve your food offerings! Compared to all of the other spring training parks, this is the worst. Limited selections, the lines are super long and you ran out of Skyline chili dogs at yesterday's game well before the game ended. This is our only chance to get Skyline chili dogs for those of us that don't live in Indiana or Ohio.

Great place for events, ballgames and pretty much anything else. Very nice facility.

Every single worker I came across was so pleasant. They have sunscreen available for free in the restrooms which is a nice touch. The only negative is there isn’t a ton of shade and those seats in the sun get HOT. Go Guards!

Ticket prices were affordable. Parking was easy and FREE! Food choices are limited and the lines were long. The ballpark was at best at 50% capacity. Family friendly environment.

The stadium is beautiful. The restrooms are clean, the workers are great. The parking lot experience is a different story. We've been sorting here for over an hour, in one place. There is no one directing traffic out of the 3rd base lot. This is the handicapped lot, you would think they would be a bit more on the ball.

Interesting buildings from the 19th century and small telephone museum, which can be seen in about 1-1.5 hours. There are a variety of buildings like homes, church, dentist office that were either original and moved here or replicas from the late 1880s. Though we couldn't go inside, most had a sign on the exterior giving its history then an open door where you could see the interior contents. Recommend getting a map from the front as there are not maps once inside. We came the day before Thanksgiving and it wasn't busy at all, but did have the modern Christmas decor being put up for the nighttime winter wonderland. It was a bit unusual to see modern lights and frosty displays on 19th century buildings, but am sure it's beautiful in the evening. The workers were very friendly and helpful. Restrooms near the front were clean, and a few cold sodas and waters were sold for $1-2 each.

Some of the buildings looked like they were starting to show signs of neglect, which was a little disappointing. A few houses had open doors or uncovered windows so you could look inside, though they were blocked off to prevent entry. There were still some interesting sights — the miner’s house had old tracks and carts nearby, and the schoolhouse was pretty cool. There was even a wedding happening at the chapel, which added a nice touch. Overall, it was something to do for the price, but I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Wow this museum more than blew me away. There was so much to see. In the front room where you check in, there's various antiques. Then, you walk through a small museum of telephones, and the displays are jam packed. From there, you walk outside. If you go to one side, they have a small shaded picnic table and the Spanish mission with murals. On the other side - you'll see most of the old buildings (and the buildings are genuine; the signs show how some of the buildings were moved over too from other sites). You loop around and see various cabins, a miner house, school house, and more. They all have the doors open so you can look in, and there's interpretive signage so you can look more. For animal lovers, they have a rooster pen, a peacock pen, and also goats. I spent about two and a half hours walking around, there was a lot to see! Accessible parking and they do have accessible paved paths, though some exhibits require you to walk up on sloped gravel path.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful time at the Pioneer Living History Museum! It felt like stepping back in time — the buildings, the scenery, and all the little historical details were incredible. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell they really care about preserving the history and making it come alive for visitors. It’s a perfect place for families, kids, or anyone who loves learning about the past in a hands-on way. We’ll definitely be coming back!

What an absolutely wonderful place! A fun gander back in history with things to learn and see! Connie Jo greeted us with such cheer and a background on the museum. Very friendly and positive atmosphere! I would definitely visit again! Beautiful area and lots to experience! Thank you!

Oh my goodness! If you love old towns, museums, reenactments, dressing in old western wear, or if you have a class that does field trips in the fall, this is the place for you! We had so much fun. The woman who checked us in was awesome and knowledgeable. The parking lot is massive and gravel. There is an RV park nearby as well as a shooting range if that is something you like to do too. They have festivals in the fall, you can have weddings on site, and it makes for a great morning out and about just a little ways from Phoenix. They have picnic tables on site, and you can bring your water bottles/ lunch bag in with you.

Was looking for something to do on a recent trip to AZ. Stopped in at this site after reading reviews and checking the museum’s website. We arrived to find the entire property was closed. This was a Wednesday when they should have been open. No indication they were closed on the website or Facebook. Poor form not to post an unexpected closure. That is one of the beauties of social media. Wished we could have toured.

Free parking for spring training game day. Check the huge baseball for spring practice entrance. Both Padre and Mariners side are quite accessible and see players practice in close distance. They don't have too many food options inside the field and the team store is relatively small for two teams.

Visited the Peoria Sports Complex for the Desert Night Market. Excellent! Big variety of vendors and food.

They overcharge you for drinks here so make sure you bring your own for any events - but otherwise the stadium itself is very clean and well-maintained!

Pro Tip: cool off with the breeze under the scoreboard. Cooling fans for the electronics + wind tunnel in the shade by are = Ahhhhh. See pic. Great time at the Mariners game. There was plenty for everyone of all ages to do before the game. Try pitching and get measured by radar gun. Children’s play area and cooling mist. Plus so many food options aside from the fixed food counters and stands. The free parking is a plus with most charging for it but get there early to avoid parking far away in gravel overflow lots. Like they just closed main parking off just over an hour before hand. This is a shared venue between Ms and San Diego so when they play each other it will be packed to the gills. Anyhow, good seats although they were in the narrow side. Good times and great place to take in a game.

This is a really cool spot if you are a baseball fan! The spring training home of the Mariners & Padres. Both teams also workout at this facility so if you head out early you can get an up close look at your favorite players working out. Today we saw the Mariners catchers working out and the hitting on one of the outdoor fields!

I was hosting 12 Naval Academy classmates plus spouses over the March 21 weekend. I reached out to Ty Petersen at the Peoria Sports Complex about attending a Spring (Cactus League) baseball game. Ty was very engaged, professional and communicative throughout the process of organizing and booking our game. We booked in the Collonade which is a semi private venue on the home field side. Great location to view the game and tickets provide access to a very good buffet and bar. You have the option of sitting in dedicated stadium seats or enjoying the indoor/outdoor seating in the Collonade. Ty also arranged to have our group featured on the scoreboard! Lastly, he personally appeared to meet our group and thank us for our business! The whole experience throughout was awesome!

Very cool Baseball park. We unfortunately didn’t make it to a game here for spring training but we had to see the mariners home stadium and watched them practice. Also visited the team store. It was free to park there before the game. Got to watch the players practice and quite a few stopped to sign my son’s baseball. Lots of people there wanting autographs. Very cool experience!

The stadiun has a Huge parking lot. Parking close to the building was a mistake, when it was time to leave. It took a long time to get out of the parking lot, and we could not turn the way we wanted to (it was blocked off). The stadium was air conditioned, which felt great. Our seats were close to the end zone, next to the the stairs, so my view was people walking up/down the stairs. Luckily, there was a huge screen to my left, so I watched that. I enjoyed the game (and the Seahawks won) 💚💙

Went here for the Packers vs Cardinals game in October of 2025. Getting into the stadium was quick and easy. Once inside, was a little underwhelming on comparison to other stadiums but still a good stadium. Drinks were good and fans around us were very cool and fun. All around, a great experience (especially since the Packers won haha)

Awesome venue. Ever seat is great. Vendors and service people are friendly. Gate workers super strict. Can bring blankets jackets but took my seat cushion cover because it had a 6 inch zipper. Took the super thin small cover off and the man still said no. Absolutely no way to hide anything in a small thin piece of cloth. Mean while jackets and pants have zippers. Also people let in with extensive costumes which can easily hide objects.

Got hooked up w some tickets. Ended up in Section 105 row 36 great seats. Close to entrance and exit. Parked in black lot short walk to stadium. Purchase parking pass on seat geek in advance. The gentlemen at parking told us Handicap was full but it was not. Parents had to walk further.

We had a great time at the drone show. I do suggest getting there early so you can get a good spot. Getting out of the venue was a bit tough. The exits were choked off so only a few people could get out at a time.

Great place to watch a game. Paid for a primo parking space. Cuz I can't stand waiting an hour to leave, so worth the 60 bucks! Paid for really good first section 35 yard line seats. Very enjoyable. Kind folks. Very respectful and kind to military families and those that stood before us. I liked that too. Will definitely be back. All services and facilities one needs in a stadium, this place has. Clean and newer looking!

Literally INSANE to charge $30 for parking after we spend so much to get into the damn stadium anyways. And the cost of food/drinks INSANE. I truly will never ever understand how this is legal and allowed. But anyways, atleast its always clean when I go, seems to be well taken care off. Cotton candy was stale, but I guess I expect that after paying $22. Thats about it. Its your average stadium, with not so average pricing.

It was a wonderful spot to escape the heat, though the water slides had very long lines, preventing us from riding many of them. The expenses added up quickly—tickets, food, cabanas, and more—especially considering how much time was spent waiting in line. Despite that, the kids had a great time and really enjoyed themselves.

Spent the day here. Went on a Thursday so it wasn’t horribly crowded. They seem to have changed their opening hours from 9am to 10:30 am so we sat and waited a while. Overall the slides are all well done and functional. The lazy river was good but needed more inner tubes. The wave pool was broken in the morning and was up in the afternoon but it isn’t a monster wave pool like the place in Mesa used to have. Food was good value. The cheese burger had 2 patties and probably a half pound. The chicken tenders had like a half dozen and the fries had plenty is seasoning. I bought a beer. Only 1 beer… because it cost $20!!!! For 1 beer. Maybe that was a little overpriced…. Lockers are available for use and you keep the code all day. The park was clean and staff seemed nice. We would likely come again

Awesome day. We went the week school started in Phx so it wasn't very busy which made it amazing.. I recommend going on off days highly.. otherwise the water was refreshing cause I was very afraid the summer heat was gonna be too much. The food is expensive but I got the admission tickets half off on a groupon so we had budgeted for extras. They have a small store if you forgot anything and plenty of rides to keep every age busy. We rented a cabana but we really didn't need it as there were a lot of open chairs but I imagine those get filled up much faster on full regular busy days

Hurricane Harbor was a pleasant surprise! We went on a Friday afternoon and the lines weren’t too bad. There are a few slides that are super fun! I don’t know that I need multiple days here but it’s a great way to spend one day. The website made it sound like they were strict on bringing in your own food/water but we took our own stuff in w no issues. The ground gets super hot so you’ll want sandals you can take off and hold on the rides or socks to wear around (personally I’d go for the socks).

Went on a Friday around 12 the lines were super long for the slides. If you try to pay attention to wich have shorter lines it isn't so bad. The splash play area for young children is excellent though. They also have a small wave pool and a lazy river. The misting systems for the slide lines is very helpful. I wish there was a "fast pass" I would absolutely purchase one to skip long lines. The food is beyond unreasonable the main bummer was really just how long every line was. I didn't feel like it was super Crowded at least not enough to make the lines so long.

Very busy. Hard to find a chair so we rented a cabana. It was a little expensive but it came with 4 rental tubes, a little fridge with 6 bottles of water a couch and table and ceiling fan. The lines were quick so we got on all of the rides.

Visited on the very last day of the season (our first ever visit) and we were very impressed! Every ride in the park was open and fully operational. The lines were extremely short (usually under 5 minutes), so we were able to enjoy everything multiple times. The slides were a blast, with a great mix of raft rides, racing slides, and even a water coaster. The staff were all friendly and upbeat, and even the food was decent (though pricey), with every option still available despite it being the last day of the 2025 season. A fantastic first experience—we’ll definitely be back next year!

An absolute gem! There is so much history and exhibits at this museum. From the paintings, to the baskets and sculptures, Bob Haozous and HOME exhibits. Incredible collection of Hopi dolls and beadwork. I loved the substance of stars and courtyard. Learning the history of Indian boarding schools was also a highlight. I highly recommend if you want to learn about the history of Native Americans.

What an amazing place — this museum honestly blew me away! 💛 It’s modern, spacious, full of light and air — every corner feels alive. The exhibits are interactive and beautifully put together, and there was even a whole section about the stars — unexpectedly inspiring and so well done. We joined a guided tour that was supposed to be 45 minutes — but it went closer to 55, and it still felt like five minutes. The guide was incredible — so passionate and easy to listen to, sharing fascinating stories about Native American history and art. That hour just flew by. They also have a Family Room — a really lovely space for kids to explore and play while learning. I was there without my children this time, but I know they’d absolutely love it. It’s one of those places that’s interesting for both adults and kids — there’s something for everyone. I came around 2 p.m., and the museum closes at 4 — big mistake, two hours weren’t nearly enough. I didn’t get to see a couple of galleries, and I barely had time to peek into the gift shop — which, by the way, is fantastic. So many handmade things — pottery, jewelry, paintings — all authentic, unique, and full of soul. I could’ve easily spent another hour just there. There’s also a cozy café and a small bookstore — perfect if you want to sit for a bit and soak in the atmosphere. Next time I’m in Phoenix, I’m definitely coming back — and I’ll make sure to spend the whole day here. Such a beautiful, thoughtful, and inspiring place. 🌿

Marvelous museum, so glad we were able to go while I was in Arizona. Many interesting artifacts, artwork, exhibits from Native American artists showcased in several galleries. There are tours you can take with docents. We went through the museum on our own. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the state of AZ.

This is a beautiful museum with lots of exhibits and history. It is nice to get an honest account of what has happened to this culture. The "away from home: American Indian boarding school stories" is a must-see. The docents that work there are very friendly and take you on the tours. The only reason I gave it a four is because the lady behind the counter was not very friendly and very gruff. Maybe she had a bad day. Do not bring small backpacks. There is also a lot of security patrolling the museum at all times.

The architecture of the museum was quite unique and even a bit whimsical—I really liked that. Each gallery had its own distinct vibe, which made exploring the space enjoyable. Everything was beautifully curated and visually striking. However, the overall concept left me feeling emotionally overwhelmed. I usually enjoy viewing art, but the tragic history of Native Americans and the way they were treated made me feel incredibly sad—so much so that it gave me a stomachache. You can truly feel the pain, sorrow, and suffering expressed through their artwork, which is deeply moving but also incredibly heavy and heartbreaking.

My first time at the Heard Museum was memorable. It's not the biggest museum, but it has a lot of galleries and rooms. What strikes me about this museum is that it's has the best Native American antiquities and my favorite was the American history of taking away Native American children from their family to be reeducated in a white American school and way of life. The part that moved me was all the children being ripped away from their parents and once they reached their destination, each child was given a mandatory hair cut, the first step of stripping them of their heritage, culture and identity. It was horrific what these children went through, and having a Native American heritage myself, it was really moving Another part of this museum worth going to is their cafe. The people there are so friendly like our server, Christopher. The atmosphere and the food was worth the money spent. I bought the hummus sandwich since I'm a vegetarian and for dessert my partner and I shared a fried bread sundae which was delicious 😋🤤. I definitely recommend this place and the museum itself

I'll start by saying I'm a 4 handicap, played from the tips. I was excited to play this course as it looked fun and challenging. Definitely a course you need to play a couple times to know where to hit it with multiple blind shots or tight dog legs. Not worth the $380. Greens were good for me however they appeared to be in rough condition as I did play in mid February. Mixed conditions throughout the course. Some areas were unplayable and others were great. I won't be back, there's plenty of good AZ golf.

It's beautiful scenery-wise with some amazing rock formations and a good layout. However. For $400/18 holes the green and fairways were not as lush as other courses in the area, and the cost of drinks on course was absurd. If you're looking for something expensive or staying at the resort....maybe....if you're looking for high-end publicly accessible courses in the area, I think you can do better.

The Boulders is as scenic as golf gets. Huge granite boulders rise above the fairways, creating a backdrop that makes every hole memorable. Both the North and South courses offer distinct challenges, with desert terrain that blends seamlessly into the natural landscape. The conditions are excellent, and the service is top-notch. Playing here feels more like an experience than just a round of golf—it’s equal parts challenging, relaxing, and awe-inspiring. Even if your game isn’t at its best, the views alone make it worth the trip.

Played Boulders South Golf Course and had the most enjoyable round. The course is challenging but forgiving. The course was in good condition but the greens were a bit disappointing since it appears they were punched recently. The staff was friendly and the amenities were nice but aimed for resort guests more than golf guests. Would definitely play again.

Nice layout course in Fred Flinstones back yard. Some really tough holes. You need to be precise. Overall a nice game. Hospitality was good and the driving range was excellent.

Very, very beautiful resort in a very beautiful location. Casitas & Haciendas are tucked into the landscape surrounding a gorgeous golf course. Giant boulders in unusual, stacked positions surround the entire resort. Peaceful grounds with a host of birds pleasantly sing out. I loved The Grill restaurant. Best of all, I think they have the friendliest staff I've encountered in the many, many resorts I've visited. It's a little ways north from Scottsdale, but worth the drive. 5 stars in my opinion.

Course is in good shape, but we booked the first time on the south course, as we are not members. We needed to play fast due to our schedule, but when we arrived, we were told that we had to start on the back 9 so that the members could go on the front nine first. No where on their site does it say this. We requested to play first on the front 9 as there were only 2 of us. They told us 'no' so we after we made the turn, we had to play a nearly 3 hour long front 9. The bottom line is that if you're one of the 70 year old scotch sipping, wife avoiding, wealthy members, you'll probably be treated well. If you're just a member of the public, you'll be treated like trash. They have lost a customer for life, and I play a lot of golf.

Excellent museum! It is a huge place. You wear a headset which plays music as you approach the various exhibits. Exhibits are well labeled and so many interesting details. I loved hearing and seeing people playing the instruments on display via the headset and videos. There is a room where kids and adults can play a variety of instruments. Highly recommend!

Very amazing and educational museum. Would definitely recommend to anyone to go! 2 stories of history and cultures! Plan for it to take a good portion of your day. They have a cafeteria on site that has amazing food as well! Also an interactive instrument room where you can try out some of the different instruments you saw in the exhibits!

This museum is now firmly within my top 5 favorite museums in the world. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the museum is after deciding to visit last-minute. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated and include not only visuals but optional audio for everything you are viewing. With interesting facts about instruments, artists, and music styles from around the world. I only had the chance to see about 1/4 of all they have in my quick 2 hour visit so I’d recommend planing a few hours to come here and experience it all. There is a gallery where you can play a variety of instruments which as a musician was a dream. I’ve always wanted to play a harp and got the chance to do so here! The gift shop had such a fun variety of unique items, I came away with jewelry made from piano strings that I love! And on top of it all, this museum was truly inclusive for folks who need special accessibility accommodations. I recently injured my foot putting me on crutches. The staff kindly offered my choice of a wheelchair or electric scooter at no charge to use while in the museum. I can’t wait for the day I can come back to experience more!!

It is the best museum I ever seen! I am not a fan of music, but I am deeply touched by all kinds of music and instruments from all over the world, hundreds of countries and hundreds cultures. Staff in this museum are super nice, they are ready to answer your questions and provide useful information you need. This museum is not only good for adults, but also great place for kids! If you want your kid to learn instruments, bring kids to this museum and kids will start to fall in love with music. I will definitely come back to this museum again with my kid. Overall, I strongly recommend this museum. It is the No.1 best museum among the hundreds of museums I have seen.

An incredible collection of instruments spanning the globe. Our visit was particularly auspicious as it coincided with the "Stradivarius and the Golden Age of Violins and Guitars" exhibit. The violins and bows were exquisite. Plan to spend the day wandering through the various rooms to learn about cultural context and history.

MIM is worth the drive, no matter where you're staying in Phoenix. It's not just for music lovers, but also about history and engineering. We drove up from Tempe with our ASU student - we already plan to go back! The mechanical music room was fascinating and the artists room had so much variety - do not say no to the headphones. The experience of floating in and out of the sounds of the instruments on display really was magic. We finished with watching the short introduction film they offered. After experiencing the museum, it really brought home the universality of music through out all of human history... and it seems all to be represented right there in MIM. Really well organized and displayed: unique instruments, how instruments are made, antidotes from artists, instruments and musical styles from every corner of the world. Love!

A very fun place to visit! I thought a museum about musical instruments may not be very large or interesting, yet MIM changed my mind completely. It not only shows music from different countries, but also demonstrates the deeper cultures behind the music. As the picture shows, “Music is the language of the soul.” I think everyone who love music should visit this place, and you will see a much bigger world!

As a season ticket holder at Chase Field, I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite places to be. The atmosphere is always exciting, and I enjoy the games so much that I only miss maybe 15 a season—and that’s usually just because of work. The ballpark itself is a great home for the Diamondbacks, and the fan experience keeps me coming back year after year. My only real complaint is that it’s a cashless stadium. Having to constantly load prepaid cards just to grab a beer or snack is inconvenient and takes away from the otherwise smooth game-day flow. Overall, Chase Field is a fantastic spot to catch a game, but I really hope they make payments easier for loyal fans in the future.

What a great day! Went for Taiwan Heritage Day and the D-backs vs. Phillies game — the D-backs did not disappoint! The stadium is packed with restaurants, entertainment, and more. For a place that holds around 50,000 people, everything flowed smoothly with no hassle at all. We were able to do everything we wanted and still get in and out easily. Awesome experience!

I am from Los Angeles and first time coming to Chase! What an amazing stadium and atmosphere! I see the passionate fans and state of the art facility! It's a dome stadium and I could've used a little lower temperature but I loved the downtown atmosphere, the parking isn't a nightmare like other stadiums I won't name and i would have to say the nicest stadium I've been to and I've been to about a dozen! Good job Dbacks!

We had a fun night and day game at Chase Field watching the Diamondbacks play. The stadium is very comfortable with a lot of great amenities. We sat behind home plate with a great view. The stadium lets you bring your own food and drink in clear containers which is a huge help with my dietary needs. Also, they have gluten free, vegan, and other food needs covered. The stadium is easy to drive or take public transit to and there’a a lot of parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We didn’t try the restaurants but heard that they are great.

We went to see the Diamondbacks and had a great time. It was 112 outside but nice and cool inside. The pizza was good and the ice cream even better. After the game my son got to “round the bases” on the field. We waited about 15-20 mins after the game but it was worth it. My son loved it, highly recommended.

Enjoyed this field so much!! Came here for my first ever MLB game! No complaints! I love the enclosed field & no matter where your seat is, you will have wonderful views!!

⚾️Chase field is one of the best stadiums⚾️ It’s located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, there’s plenty to explore before or after the game like restaurants and bars. Inside the stadium, there’s a wide variety of concession stands offering everything from classic ballpark snacks to creative local food. The atmosphere is fun, the food hits the spot, and the convenience of the location makes it a great outing. Great place to hang out whether you’re a die-hard fan or just out for a good time! ⚾️

This was such a beautiful hike, it is pretty difficult but so worth it. You hike most of your elevation in the beginning and so perfect. It’s super busy on the weekends, I recommend early in the morning on a weekday.

It was one of the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. Even though I’m an athlete, it was very difficult probably because I went at 12pm midday in the month of May. It was difficult but the view at the summit was worth it. Parking was free and access was also free. Stay safe, follow safety rules and stay hydrated.

The hike was hard but rewarding!! Anyone can do it if you put your mind to it! I did it 15 weeks pregnant and made it to the top and down! Take a water bottle back pack !!! Hydration and multiple stops helps make it bearable. Took us about 3 hours up and down

A hard hike. If you don't usually exercise, I recommend training before going. But it's nice; the trail is well marked, and handrails are installed in difficult areas to prevent falls.

Very crowded on the weekends with limited parking. I would go early, like 5am early! 😌Beautiful scenery. Bring your hiking boots, hiking gloves and plenty of water!! No dogs allowed and nice clean restrooms.

Was in PHX for a conference and could see this place from my hotel room. So got up a 4:30 am and took a scheduled Uber (15-20 minute ride from the Sheraton/downtown) to hike during sunrise. - I hike a lot, but this is pretty rugged. Took me an hour to get to the top at a moderate pace. - about halfway up, there are several spots that require all four limbs. A non-technical climb of sorts. No climbing gear needed though. It’s doable but you’ve got to be adventurous. - I took the Cholla trail, which I understand to be the easier of the two trails (but not “easy”) - look for blue hash marks mark the trail all the way up — especially around the climbing parts - coming down is slow too. Plan for time. Less physical effort but got to be careful about foot placement. Some rocks are slippery. I suggest keeping three points of contact at all time. - a dozen or so people on the trail too when I went; so very public; everyone was friendly and polite. - I was worried about sticking my hand in a rock and getting a snake bite, but it’s so highly used, I’d bet they stay away. Wasn’t an issue. - it was cool and windy mid-May. Maybe 60 degrees; but the day before a colleague of mine did it at the same time of day and it was hot. So plan for both. Best to have a sweatshirt in a back pack. - bring ample water; I drank 60 ounces of fluid on this trek; bananas are a good idea too. My colleague said someone put a box of them out for hikers when she went; none when I was there. - the moon was out too on my hike (see photo) Gorgeous. I’m so glad I didn’t this. Great way to start the day — before sitting in a conference room all day!

This hike is tough but rewarding! Some sections are a full body workout! I avoid the railings for extra challenge. Once in June, I nearly got heat exhaustion, so bring plenty of water! Spotted big lizards, but watch for bees everywhere, even at the fountain. Parking is limited. The mountain will close for rescues or extreme heat index.

Great hike for easy to moderate hike with 360⁰ views. While there is a fair amount of elevation change, the 2 mile trail is very well maintained with steps, benches, and signage. It's a 4 mile out and back or can be through-hiked. The park facility is very good. I'm not a super fast hiker but did the out and back in about 2 hours.

Great 3.2km (2 miles) one-way trail with beautiful views. Gets a bit challenging by the end but easy-moderate to hike

We had an amazing hiking experience here today. Along our way a volunteer, Gary, told us some impressive facts about the plants, trail, and tips to see the best views. He then proceeded to continue the hike as our guide. He made our whole experience better than we could have imagined. Lots of laughs and plenty of sweat was had haha

What a fantastic hike. Absolutely beautiful views. The visitor Center has a place to fill your water bottles as well as clean bathrooms. There is no fee for the parking or for the hike. Bring sunscreen and plenty of water. Like most of the desert There is almost no shade.

Beautiful views of homes I wish I could afford. Nice pleasant hike but there are some tough parts. Parking lot fills up early but spots start to open up around 9 am.

Fun hike, lots of good views of the surrounding neighborhoods and greater area. The parking is limited, but everything is super well maintained and the trail is well marked. I will say it was harder than I expected. A lot of significant inclines and declines. But a fun hike for sure.

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! The Desert Botanical Garden is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. Every trail and exhibit is thoughtfully designed, and you can really see the care that goes into keeping everything in top shape. The staff were attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable; they were happy to answer questions and share insights about the plants and desert landscape. It’s such a peaceful and inspiring place to explore, whether you’re a local or just visiting. There’s also a restaurant on site that feels like fine dining without being stuffy. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and they cater to a wide range of dietary needs. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot in Phoenix.

The botanical garden is a must visit. The trails are no lesser than any state park/national park. The gathering tours were really informative. The staff is friendly. Gift store is so beautiful. There are water stations every now and there. Hydration is not all a problem. Loved watching butterflies and hummingbirds in the butterflies trail. Saguaros are unique.

Must experience. Absolutely beautiful. We were fortunate to arrive after the monsoonal rains. Everything was green and blooming. We arrived a little before sunset, so we're able to see the gardens during the day, at sunset with a beautiful Arizona sky, and the gardens lit at night. The Botanical garden is open till 9:00 pm. If you have a layover at Phoenix Airport, the gardens aren't very far away. I would encourage anyone younger old to take time to visit.

I was not sure if I would like this, but I ended up loving it. It can be a bit of a walk, but I went in Nov and it was not overwhelmingly hot, but still warm. I enjoyed the cactus and plants so much, they bloom beautifully. Of course they have a lovely butterfly exhibit so worth going to. The shop and restaurant was not to bad, slightly pricey, still nice though. I had a refreshing margarita. I would recommending giving this place a visit, was most enjoyable.

The Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix is absolutely incredible! I was blown away by the breathtaking views—towering saguaros and colorful cacti create this surreal, almost magical desert landscape. There are so many cool cactuses, from spiky barrels to funky agaves, and I loved wandering the shaded trails snapping photos. It’s super peaceful, like a total escape from the city, with hummingbirds zipping around adding to the calm. The paths are easy to navigate, and the sunset glow on the red buttes was unreal. It’s about $40 to enter, but worth every penny for the curated beauty. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves nature or just wants a chill, inspiring outing. Bring water if it’s warm, and go early for fewer crowds. I’m already excited to come back!

I love this place! It makes me happy. It gives me time to reflect and regain focus on life. We all have a happy place we go to recharge. This is one of many places I go to feel a sense of peace. I love nature, so this is a great place to visit. It’s also a learning experience as well. Many different types of plants and cactuses. They also have special events. A lot of fun stuff. I enjoy going when it’s cooler out. I make it a me day. Enjoy! 😊

Desert Botanical Garden is a fantastic place to visit. There are so many varieties of desert plants, and the massive cactuses are especially impressive. The butterfly garden is also great, with lots of different species to see. If you’re visiting on a hot day, make sure to stay hydrated—thankfully, there are water stations throughout the grounds. The staff are friendly and there’s tons of helpful information about Arizona’s incredible cacti. The entry fee is a bit pricey, but for a one-time visit, it’s worth it.

The Phoenix Zoo is such a fun place to visit! Definitely bring good walking shoes — there’s plenty to see and explore. We went in December, and the weather was perfect, though we did need light jackets. We especially loved seeing the lion, and the ZooLights experience was an absolute blast. A great place for families or anyone who loves animals!

It is a good size and very accessible with adult scooters, kid and adult animal themed scooters, and stroller rentals. The zoo membership was worth it since it pays for itself in about 2 visits. The cafe is decent and if you come on less busy days or less peak hours, it is really peaceful and serene with lots of areas to sit. The animal variety is pretty good for being in the desert and it even has a Siberian Amur tiger, one of the most expensive zoo animals and endangered big cats, that not even the San Diego Zoo has.

Had a great time at the Phoenix Zoo! The animals seem well taken care of. Enclosures are fairly large and well kept. There are animal ambassadors at most of the areas that are very informative and knowledgeable. They were able to answer all our questions and some were quite funny. They have the only open walk through attraction with squirrel monkeys in the United States, which is in my opinion a must see for any visitor to the zoo. Also you can feed giraffes, ride a camel or play in the water park. Their is something for everyone. Overall my experience was enjoyable and I recommend if your are in Phoenix to add a stop at the zoo!

We recently went here for zoo lights as part of an event from work, and it was beautiful. We have never been here for this, but now that we have, we enjoyed it very much. All of the lights and the details that they did to make all of it happen was worth it. I didn't take many pictures as I was enjoying my self that I forgot.. but it is beautiful and a really great experience. The animals are sleeping so you dont really see them. The trails are closed to some areas, but they make the animals come to life with, all the lights! There was only a few things open for snacks and drinks, and they had long lines so I guess bring yoir drinks and snacks with you? Otherwise is a really great experience for everyone!

We had a wonderful time at the Phoenix Zoo! The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. For being in the desert, there was plenty of shade, which made walking around very comfortable even on a warm day. There were lots of drink stations and food options throughout the zoo, so it was easy to grab a refreshment or snack without having to go far. The layout was easy to follow with maps and signs everywhere, which made exploring stress-free and enjoyable. The giraffe area was absolutely huge, and we loved the elevated platform walkway that connects exhibits that gives a unique view of the animals below. Overall, the Phoenix Zoo is a fun, family-friendly place that clearly takes pride in both guest experience and animal care.

We had an absolutely phenomenal day at the Phoenix Zoo, and I can't recommend it enough as a perfect way for kids to spend a couple of hours walking around and getting up close with wildlife. Our visit today was exceptional because the animals were incredibly active! Sometimes you walk past exhibits and the animals are sleeping, but not today. We saw so much lively action: • Monkey Business: The monkeys were putting on quite a show, swinging and playing all over their habitat. It was non-stop entertainment! • A Spiky Surprise: one porcupine was wide awake and busy, which was a real treat to see. Hehe did a little of dance for us, and it will be a memorable porcupine dance experience for us to keep in our family. Beyond the great animal viewing, we loved that there were a couple of animal encounters happening, which added an extra layer of engagement for the little ones. We also took the carousel ride, camel ride and stingray feeding. It truly was an awesome day at the zoo. For families looking to make a whole outing of it, the Phoenix Zoo is great. We were smart and brought our lunch, which made the midday break easy and relaxing. And of course, on a warm day, the splash pad was the perfect grand finale to cool off and burn the last bit of energy before heading home. If you're looking for an engaging, manageable, and exciting outdoor activity for your kids, the Phoenix Zoo is a winner. Especially if you catch the animals on an active day like we did, it's a memorable experience!

One of the best and most relaxing experiences ever! If you like supporting family businesses, this is hands down one to support. Our guide Ray was so kind and informative, I’d give him the 5 stars alone. The horses are beautiful and you can tell they are well taken care of. Not to mention the peaceful scenic views you will get taken on are immaculate! Will definitely be back for a sunset ride, I can only imagine how gorgeous that is. Experience was 10/10, I can’t wait to go back!

I had such an amazing horseback riding experience with Nate and Coltan! They were true cowboys, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the whole ride both fun and relaxing. My horse, Boba, was incredibly well trained and such a joy to ride. We got to enjoy some delicious salsa and refreshing margaritas afterward, which made it even better. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a perfect mix of adventure, hospitality, and cowboy charm! Make sure you’re on time!!! They run a very strict schedule over there.

My husband and I came for the sunrise trail walk today (11/1/25 to start our anniversary weekend off) and had a wonderful time. The horses, Charm and Aspin were beautiful and so calm, our wrangler (cannot remember his name for the life of me, but we want him to know he was amazing!) was so chill and a great guide. He gave us the back story of Koli, talked about the wildlife and horses in the equestrian center and made sure we had a great time! We'll be back again! Its a great trail for all levels, same with the horses!

My best friend and I just had a great 1st time experience with Matt doing a 30min guided ride! When we booked thought it be fun to do the 60min sunset ride, but not going to lie Im on the Autism spectrum and never really liked horses until a few years ago when I rode my friends, was kinda nervous about riding a horse alone with no guide or anything to help if needed. So ended up taking to the workers about my situation and they suggested the shorter ride. From the time we got there Matt and other wranglers were nothing but nice and understanding. Definitely recommend and already looking forward to do a longer Sunrise ride 😁 Thanks Matt for a fun experience. Will look forward to seeing you next time!

Chuy was an awesome wrangler! We had a very nice, best day weather wise, ride! Chuy told us about the area, had some good "dad" jokes and made the morning enjoyable. The horses are so sweet and gentle. I rode Sisco! He's a lover. Definitely will make plans to come back!

Always a great time at KOLI I've been back several times because of the great care they give to each person every time. It doesn't matter if it's your 1st time riding or 200th time they remain patient and caring. This visit was the margaritas sunset ride, epic evening. Wish you could hang with the horses after the ride but hanging with Chewy, Mat and Ray was real cool and full of laughter. Great place 👌 ❤️

My partner & I had the Horsemanship session where we learned the basics of getting the horses prepared to ride the trail. We learned a lot and had a great time! The staff were good spirited and kind. They were also patient with all our questions. Can't wait to go back soon!

Great place. Nice atmosphere.. Return to Player RTP is 85%. Every 40 to 60 spins, you win a bonus. Minimal wins ($25 to $150 range). But evey once in a while, you hit something big. Hopefully, you hit it while betting maximum. Sometimes, you may hit the Grand with $1.20 to $1.80 bet range. You just need one spin to win it all.

Just stopped by after work to play with money earned playing the online PlayGila app. Won enough to pay for my cocktail, dinner, and put $40 extra dollars in my wallet. I didn’t get rich. Loved our room, 149. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Full House Cafe the waiter Paul was awesome and wish we could take him back to California. If or when I come back to Arizona I will most definitely stay Gila River Resort. Thank you so much for making our girls trip memorable.

Overall a great experience. The room was very clean and modern. The restaurants have great food and the servers are amazing, especially this one bartender who made us the best drinks. Easy check in and check out process. Using the text functionality to ask questions and get things sent to our room was fantastic. At the end of our stay, the system went down so we couldn't visit the casino on our last day but overall it was great. Highly recommend.

It's a nice place. The staff memberd are very nice. They keep the place nice and clean. The food is good in the cafe and ling and louies. I would just like to win more jackpots. Lol I recommend it if you are wanting to have fun or just chill and play some slots.

This place is great. The front desk was EXTREMELY accommodating. The customer service was the type of customer service you hope for when traveling. Wow!! my stay at Gila River Wild Horse Pass was absolutely incredible! The concert venue blew me away with its fantastic sound and vibe—perfect for an unforgettable night. The pool was a total oasis, so relaxing and beautifully kept. I loved chilling at the bar; the drinks were top-notch, and the atmosphere was super lively. My hotel room was spotless, comfy, and had all the modern touches to make it feel like home. The food at the Upper Deck was mouthwatering—every bite was a treat! On top of all that, every team member I met was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay perfect

First time setting foot on this property. From check-in to check-out it was an absolute pleasure to stay here! Been to Vegas, stayed at a resort in Scottsdale, so I had a little apprehension about stating further out of the Phoenix area. This property has everything you need to enjoy a vacation with the family or stay on business. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Great selection of slot machines, a seperate smoking section with slot machines, lots of table games with reasonable minimum bet levels. We also had the opportunity to play Ak-Chin Southern Dunes golf course. I don't tote myself as anything close to a golfer, but have had opportunities to play unbelievable courses across Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada. This golf course is well worth planning an entire weekend getaway! Back to the hotel. They have an in-house Dunkin Donuts that opens early, and a wicked steakhouse, along with a couple of other restaurants in the hotel. I love my whiskies and bourbons and Chop l, Block, and Brew did not disappoint with their selection. We even walked over to the adjoining bowling alleys and threw some stones. My only regret was that I didn't get to check out the pool, but I did see it from my hotel room, and it looked wonderful. All staff from the front desk, the security guards, the staff at all the different restaurants, the casino dealers, to the gift shop were always pleasant and wonderful to talk to.

Hubs and I wanted to have a nice romantic staycay getaway for just the two of us. We had heard that this place was amazing and very reasonable priced. That was not our take at all. We first arrived and we checked in no warm welcome. Very confusing check in set up. We got to our room and we had been given 3 keys but no reason was to why. We tried to turn on the ac and it did not work below 75F . I went back downstairs and asked why the ac was not working. I was told at first that it sho7be working if we put a key by the front door and not to remove it or the ac would go off again. I we t back upstairs and to,d my husband and we sat there and tried to relax. However he started to have an asthma attack really bad. I called down to the front and advised them if would could switch rooms, we were told due to us being there for an extended period of time we could not move rooms. We also asked if there was any rooms that had balcony doors that could open and the guy said no. Funny bc we were looking right out the window and saw the balcony door… We spoke to a supervisor and she said we could transfer rooms but we would have to pay the difference between our room and the new room. We agreed , moved rooms bug it did not help. We were miserable and the room still stunk was smaller and we were charged more for less. We could not sleep well .my husband kept his I g asthma attacks and did not rest well at all. After our Check out the next day they charge our card a total of like 260.00 bucks for one night. They said there was a 50 extra hold in case of room charges we were never told this. They did end up crediting the 50 fee and the room change charge We were totally unhappy with the entire time and did not enjoy and of it at all. we will definitely not be going bsck. Communication is definitely lacking, room cleanliness is terrible. They entire night was horrible.

WARNING! Be prepared to pay unexpected fees. we arrived a before the 4 PM check in time. So they charged an extra $38.78 I have checked in early at many hotels, many chains all across the country and at resorts worldwide and never had this happen. Also, if you like a rock hard bed and very small room this is the place for you if you prefer a comfortable bed and a place to sit then definitely not. Pool area feels more like a prison compound than it does like a resort. I recommend traveling a little further north and going to a truly nice casino hotel.

So, we didn't know what to think of the hotel, being it was so economically priced. It was very clean, everything was stocked and,well... GREAT! It was pet friendly and the amenities were outstanding. We plan on visiting the hotel again, but next time we plan on staying and using resort for at least a few days! We have not one bad thing to say about "Harrah's" AK-CHIN Hotel and casino. It was amazing! Also, the staff and the parking were amazing. Thanks again!

We enjoy Ak-Chin .. even tho it's 45min to an hr drive, so worth it!! The restaurants are vey nice, always GREAT service, Nicole at Oak & Fork is sooo great at customer service!! .. Everyone @ Chop & Block too (the food & desserts are so yummy!!) We have stayed and the rooms are nice, very comfy ... Slot machines (love the variety) Table game dealers are nice and willing to help teach you the game! .. Summer we loved the pool & cabanas ... Yup, it's one of our favorite places for fun!!

The hotel is conveniently located 5-10 min from the friend I was visiting. The room was average. The service was very good. My issue was with Caesar rewards. Apparently, even though I called the Harrah's to make the reservation, I was transferred to a 3rd party vendor. Harrah's refused to award me the Caesar reward points that I should have gotten for our stay. The rewards were one of my main reasons for choosing the hotel since there is a Laquinta down the street that's even closer to my friends house.

We did not stay at the hotel. We have been going to this Casino for over 11 years. We went last Saturday and I am a diamond plus member with a Caesars Reward visa card. I went to play after 25 points no free play. I went to the total rewards desk and asked why I didn't have any free play. She said they changed my free play from M-F. I told her it was always Saturday thru Sunday. She said they have made changes. She was very nice, she gave me a local number to call. I waited until Monday and called. I called that number and was told to call another number after 9 am. I finally got through at 9:30 am. I explained what happen She had me hold on and called marketing. She told me they wanted more patrons to come during the week. I said I would like to talk to Marketing. She took my name and number and stated they would call me back that same day. I have not heard one word. Here is the kicker my husband is also a diamond plus member and he still gets free play on the weekend. I actually have more points than him. They have taken most of the perks away so why should we keep patronizing this casino. They are on a path of losing more customers.

Beautiful over grown trail that offers incredible views of the lake on the Palo Verde Trail. Well worth the hike. Go early in the AM for cooler temps. Bring extra water. Start at Rattlesnake Cove picnic area.

Have gone 2x now n love it the first time we just took jet ski out n was able to get back down on the verde river till couldn't go any more and caught few bluegill then got caught in an afternoon thunderstorm. then went this weekend and wasn't able to go as far as the first time but found good lil school of catfish, bluegill, baby largemouth bass and turtles.. all where still babies so of course put them back.. we are gonna try n go camping this weekend.

Rattlesnake day use is really nice area. Lots of picnic tables. Nice area to swim and float around in.

I had a blast at the lake. Everybody was really cool and where you camped was very clean I enjoyed my weekend. I recommend this gem and plan on going back in the near future.

Had a blast at StandUpPaddle earlier in the day then we camped out on the beach of Bartlett lake at night. Bartlett lake is one of my favorite lakes in Arizona it is beautiful and they do a wonderful job of keeping the lake clean. This lake just has so much to offer. You can camp or just enjoy a day at the lake. You don't have to have a boat to have fun here, but you do have the ability to rent one at the marina. The marina is also home to StandUpPaddle which was a blast and they offer paddle board and kayak rentals.

Especially beautiful flowers in the Spring, nice scenic drive, non motorized boats only at the North end makes for good kayaking.

Really nice, very clean paved walking path around the lake. It is a reclaimed water lake so a little smelly at times. There is a really cool splash pad. A very nice playground. A musical instrument play area. Multiple covered areas to sit at. Such a nice little community surrounding it. Multiple bathrooms and drinking fountains. Parking was pretty easy.

Absolutely beautiful! The fountain is breathtaking to watch, especially when it shoots high into the sky — it’s the perfect centerpiece of the town. The park itself is very clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, with plenty of walking paths, green spaces, and spots to relax by the lake. It’s a great place for families, couples, or even just to enjoy some quiet time outdoors. Whether you come for a picnic, a walk, or just to see the fountain, it never disappoints. Very nice and peaceful park with a nice walking trail and a Frisbee golf course. It's a well maintained park with nice bathrooms and plenty of benches. Come right before the top of an hour and watch the magnificent fountain for 15 minutes. I've visited twice now and I enjoy this park.

I was heading out of town but wanted to see th famous fountain. Found out it only goes off every hour on the hour for 15 mins. When I drove up it had already been going off for 8 mins. It is beautiful. Neat to see. They cut it off and water comes cascading down. I found that they normally only run 2 pumps so it shoots up about 300'. Only on special occasions do they use 3 pumps to get it 500 or so feet. Which I'm sure would be awesome. If you are in the area check it out. Parking was easy off a side street. Looked like the surrounding grounds were home to disk golf. And FYI the grass was sopping wet in certain areas so be mindful of that when waking to the waters edge.

The park was super relaxing and peaceful. It had a wide variety of birds, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I especially loved watching the Red-winged Blackbirds and the vibrant red patches on their wings. The park was clean, and thanks to the fountain, there was a refreshing breeze that felt amazing—especially in the Arizona heat.

Beautiful and excellently maintained park and lake and mile plus trail around it. Although I live 20 minutes away, I'll drive there often for a walk with wife and dog. People (and dogs) are always friendly and courteous. Get there on the hour in the evening so you can watch the fountain for 15 minutes.

Visited Fountain Hills, Arizona around noon in early October. The weather was pleasant, and the place was calm and scenic. Plenty of open spaces and activities for kids — a great spot for a relaxing family outing.

Spectacular golf course and customer service. Would highly recommend if you are ever in Arizona. The food, range, golf course, views, staff are all top notch. The pro shop has tons of awesome things inside and quality brands to choose from. The course design is so much fun and the course is tournament quality. Definitely exceeded my expectations and is my go to recommendation for anyone traveling to Arizona. I will definitely be back. Don’t forget to check out “the most photographed wolf” on the driving range. He is so cool.

This course consistently came highly recommended after searching around the internet for top-end desert golf in the Scottsdale area, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I played Cholla, and the course overall was in excellent shape, with nicely maintained tee boxes and beautiful greens. The course represents what I’d consider to be true desert golf, and with that comes an excellent challenge. The views of the surrounding mountains are basically panoramic, and a joy to take in. Rental clubs were very nice as well. The facilities are above what I anticipated; the clubhouse is beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained, as was the range and halfway house. Frankly, there’s little to complain about. And compared to other courses of the same caliber in the region, the price point is incredibly reasonable. If you are considering this course, just book it now!

Best Golf club I've ever been. Beautiful in every sense of the word. I played Saguaro, it was stunning. My tee time was at 3:00 pm, and I had almost all the course for myself. I believe there was only another group playing. Way cheaper than other clubs I checked in the Phoenix area and I am not sure they can surpass this one. Really a fantastic experience. Tee time came with a Golf Cart, tees, and several bottles of water. So you don't dehydrate. Great attention from Todd. Kudos to you. Saw lots of wildlife, it was magical. In this environment, you won't mind any of your not-so-good shots. I'm already planning to come back.

Fantastic Day at We-Ko-Pa! I recently played We-Ko-Pa Golf Club with my grandson during our annual golf trip, and it was absolutely incredible. The course was in pristine condition, with breathtaking desert views on every hole. The staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed the pace of play relaxed, yet efficient allowing us to savor every shot. This was more than just a round of golf; it was a wonderful shared memory. Can’t wait to come back next year!

One of the nicest course I've ever played at. For Arizona it definitely lives up to its name as being a top 5 course. The service was fantastic too. The cart girl was very kind and present, the cart boys were extremely tending to clubs and bags, and the overall service of the staff was extremely friendly. Despite my score being below-average, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club is the opposite!

This is a really nice, gorgeous course outside of the Phoenix area. If you like desert golf, this needs to be on your list to play. The course was in great shape (mid-July) and the greens rolled very well.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! It's all I can say. Excellent customer service, the course was in fantastic condition and very challenging. My brother and I played the Cholla course and loved every hole. Great layout, great elevation changes, perfect tee boxes, fairways, and greens. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Offered a free room for Friday night. Called and booked and got a room with two queen beds which is fine. Room was clean and well appointed with coffee, tea and water. Nice linens, pillows, towels and toiletries. Room was quiet and had wonderful blackout curtains. We slept awesome. Casino has a nice variety of slot machines, table games, poker, etc. bars are scattered around the casino and had long lines for the most part. Later in the evening. Drinks are expensive. Some good some mediocre. We ate at ember steakhouse and were so impressed by the service, food and cocktails. Nice little mini vacation. Highly recommend.

I'm here for a work conference, not for the casino but just wanted to write to say how nice the rooms are. The bed has these amazing silky sheets and comfy pillows that feel amazing. Also, the outdoor pool and hot tub area feels like a nice vacation resort. Definitely a nice place for a weekend getaway. Also, the bathroom with tub is super nice.

Feels like a nice getaway. Halloween was extremely fun. We had dinner in the sports bar. We left to go change our clothes and when we came back to listen to the live music they told us we had to eat. We had just finished eating. So we had yo pay. Wasn't happy about that. We opted out and went to play the machines.

Seems like this place is losing its appeal. Used to be one of my favorite staycation alot but since they made all the changes to the casino, its not as fun. Check in is lengthy, staff is not that accommodating or courteous, and there is alot of turn over. I dont ever see the same employee twice except in the restaurant. Its a lovely property with lots of amazing artistic features and the pool area is nice.

It's been years since I've gone to WE-KO-PA Casino.They have some real unlikeable employees dealing cards here. It will be another 20 more before I ever return. They apparently all still work there. I encountered an extremely rude Black Jack dealer today that had nothing but passive aggressive insults to deal out. I heard every insult spoken under his breath clearly yet I remained polite, saying nothing to him. I was seething, but I stayed silent. This is not the place to come to relax, laugh and have fun. The employee dealing cards seemed to really hate me and yet I never saw this guy before until today. I contemplated calling over his Pit Boss to let him know about what this Human Speed Bump working for him was saying. I doubt the Pit Boss could hear his insults under his breath. Even the lady next to us commented to me. Too bad I didn't record the whole conversation. I was there only for my Father's Birthday and I wanted him to have fun so I said nothing until now. I will inform everyone I know at work, in my neighborhood, online and at church who and where to avoid. This guy & this place.

Didn't stay at the resort, just played golf. What a beautiful course. Definitely one of the nicest courses I've ever played in my life! We loved it!

Me and my kids we love this place. We discovered it and will always make this a place to go back to for years to come! It is absolutely beautiful. I’ve seen so much wild wildlife here so many beautiful families here just enjoying the nature and just being with Family and friends and taking family pictures and having picnics and trail hiking I just loved the vibe the feeling the experience was everything. I’m so happy I discovered this place.♥️

I came to visit during the weekday mid afternoon. There were several people, dogs bikers but you are able to have the space you need without feeling crowed. The Riparian Preserve offers different trails that are paved and non-paved so it can be enjoyed by everyone. Great location for professional or non-professional photos, spending time alone, spending time with people, and/or enjoying the beauty of it all. The trails are all labeled with orange signs or you can find small maps. They offer educational signage about wildlife, plants and the solar system. The preserve is well taken care of and has plenty of areas to be explored.

This is a really great spot for walking, running, and walking the dog, especially in the summer since there is lots of shade. The scenery and wildlife is spectacular: birds, squirrels, bunnies, etc. There is a mix between paved trails and dirt trails, so can be a good spot for those who have mobility issues. Lots of ponds/lakes for fishing. There are a few restrooms around the perimeter. The preserve connects to several trails that can take you to other great parks in Gilbert. Parking can be difficult as the lot is very small.

Great park for walking. Unfortunately a lot of the ponds are currently dry. The paths are well maintained and clean. There are a few homeless that made me a bit uncomfortable but generally I felt safe. There are so many ducks and birds it is amazing. The community around the park is very nice. I go here to walk or run the trails and very much enjoy it.

Large nature preserve Park in Gilbert. Native vegetation and also non-native ones grace the Park. Cotton tails rabbits sightings delights visitors throughout the Park. Several ponds, some dry, are scattered through the parks perimeter along with expansive pic-nic areas situated by the ponds or on tree enclosed coves (which require Pryor reservation). It takes at least a couple of hours to explore the Park's entire vast acreage. It is definitely an enjoyable, free and refreshing way to commune with mother nature on a weekend (very busy) or a weekday, if possible.

Brilliant idea from the Gilbert civil engineering urban planning departments. Free, safe, and well maintained park. Perfect desert oasis with much wildlife in the city! Highly recommended for homeschool moms searching for a life science field trip.

Arrived at 6:00 AM and birds were very loud and active. This place is amazing, and it's free. If you live close by you need to take the time and visit. Bring your binoculars.

Beautiful temple. Went by there on a Sunday so we weren’t able to go in but I’m glad we were able to go see it. Pretty cool to see from the freeway as well.

A beautiful temple of tbe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Anyone can walk around. The temple is reserved for members of the church with a temple recommend. In it we are able t I do eternal work for our families and.an esters as well as make covenants with the Lord. It is my place of refuge and.peace, and place of the Lord to pray and to feel closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. My grandson was married here as well.

It’s great how this temple is built near the freeway for viewing much like the San Diego temple so it’s easy to spot and visit. Beautiful design, clean area and surrounding area, and a pleasure to visit

I absolutely love the Gilbert LDS Temple. It’s stunning inside and out and always feels peaceful and serene. The design reminds me of a giant, glowing sugar cube, especially at night, and the inside is always refreshingly cool thanks to the strong AC (which is a huge plus in Arizona!). Some of the lower reviews seem to misunderstand how temples work. The temple is open to the public during open houses before it’s dedicated, but after that, access is limited to those who hold a current temple recommend. This isn’t about excluding people it’s about preserving the sacred nature of what happens inside. The grounds, however, are always beautifully maintained and open for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a member or just admiring the architecture, this temple is truly a gem in Gilbert. A peaceful, sacred space that lifts your spirit just by being near it. *note not all days are full of positivity and love, but striving to do your best is what counts.

This beautiful temple has an amazing path to walk around. You can sit and relax outside. Lots of parking. It's a place for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to do proxy work, get married, and to do baptisms for the dead. You need to be a member to go inside with a temple recommend. During my visit it was closed for cleaning.

Amazing place. So beautiful. There is such a feeling of peace here. Anyone is welcome to walk the grounds, but to be able to participate in the ordinances inside you need to be a member of the church.

The most beautiful building inside and out. For those who are not familiar, this building is a temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Only members of the said church are allowed to enter into the entire building while most everyone can enter the waiting room if acting and dressing appropriately. This is a reverent building which means everyone is quiet and respectful. I was married (sealed) to my husband at this beautiful place and it was an amazing experience.
