So so fun! I had no clue what to expect going into this as I went with my boyfriend and his family. I was able to feed the giraffes for only $5 which is a decent price, not to much! And got to pet so many baby deer! This was definitely an experience and I had so much fun. I definitely recommend this for kids as it can be a fun learning experience with the signs for the animals. Also, say hi to the cockatoo who says hi and whistles at you! Haha!

I visited during a rainy day, puddles of standing water periodically found on the walking path. $64 for two adults and 2 bags of food so nearly $30 per person to enter. This was a huge zoo, offering many animals on display of which I’ve never seen before. All enclosures had signs with information about the animals. Many of the animals were housed in the correct environments, keeping the animals indoors for the rainy day, you can enter the buildings to view them from inside. Sad to say some of the animals were left on concrete slabs with puddles of water accumulating in their walking areas. Overall it’s a very well kept park, deer, goats and peacocks wandering the grounds for you to interact with and feed. You have to pay extra to get a safari tour which would allow you to see the zebras, and not sure what other animals. They also offer, for an extra fee, paddle boats to tour the grounds. The workers at the front desk were okay, the older woman had a little bit of attitude behind her answers to our questions but overall the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! A very fun way to kill 3 hours of your day

Seriously so much fun. Got to feed all the animal and I got a kiss from a giraffe. The staff were phenomenal and knowledgeable. Great prices. It was awesome to be able to spend a chunk of my honeymoon there.

Parking was a bit goofy but not impossible. Everything was pretty close together so it wasn't tons of walking. VERY clean. Team ride was over priced in my opinion and not what I was expecting at all 😔 Regardless we had a lovely time. So many cool and different animals to see. The Budgie experience blew our minds. The deer were beautiful! And the wondering tortoises were my favorite 😍🐢

We LOVE this place! Not sure about a weekend as far as crazy but weekdays I have never had an issue parking. I was so glad to get a tram ticket. It really is worth it to see other animals so close up. The enclosures are clean, deer roam free and it’s a great place!

Fantastic private zoo... one that doesn't get state or federal funding... so happy to pay the $26 entry. So many wild animals roaming the grounds for you to walk up to and pet. Very well layed out and great for the whole family.

I took some visitors here and what a great surprise. We had a great time looking and interacting with the animals. We went during the weekday so we basically had the park to ourselves with a few other couples. Highly recommended.

Omg I'm so glad we have places that cater for wildlife no matter how small in narrow they are. These ground squirrels were in our backyard and a few times fell into our pond for which we found in time to save them. We didn't know how to care for them but called Northwoods, and the staff were so helpful, and even tho they are closed told is to bring them up. I can't say enough for people who give so much to help save wildlife

They were the closest 24 hour rescue place and we had 7 baby bunnies my dog found. They were so little their eyes weren't even open!! The girl working the night shift was very nice and accommodating.

The kids loved all the animals. The special treat were the turtles and snakes at the end. Also, the kids can dress up as veterinarian and examine stuffed animal patients. Our tour guide was awesome!

Elmer’s Fun Park is an absolute blast! The go-kart racing is awesome — fast, exciting, and perfect for all ages. Whether you're a kid or just a kid at heart, there's tons of fun to be had. It's a great spot for families, groups, or anyone looking for a good time. Highly recommend for a day full of smiles and adrenaline!

Great staff and so much fun!! Go karts, bumper boats, and horses are there!! Great tracks for go karts also there is ice cream (and they have dairy free vanilla)

Fun place for kids and adults! We did the go karts, mini golf and batting cages. Batting cages need to be adjusted. Pitches were too short in slow softball, too low in slow baseball. But the kids had a blast! We also got ice cream at the little shop on site. Very good flavors, some we have never heard of like Play Doh and Cookie Monster.

If your kid is as tall as the "must be this tall to drive" arrow be prepared for the track workers to say they're too short to drive. "State regulations" they say. But then they proceed to let a 14 year old drive a double cart with her cousin when there's clearly a sign that says must be 16 to drive a double kart. People running this place are rude! Track 1 will rattle your teeth out of your head. Track 2 is fun. Save your money and go to Kart way in Eagle River.

If you're looking for great, safe, family fun for all ages, this is the place! They have horse riding, bumper boats, batting cages, a bungeline, a rock climbing tower, miniature golf, and best of all, go karts. And if you are someone who loves go karts and knows what makes a good kart and a good track and an overall good karting experience, this is the place! These are the best and make great racing! My dad and I had an awesome time. They also have a concessions shops with snacks, food, and Cedar Crest Ice Cream. And those people that complained about rude or unfriendly staff, you people had to either be drunk, out of your mind, or at the wrong place. The staff was all very help and friendly! Bring your family here for a grand ole time and an affordable rate!!

Elmer’s Fun Park is the place to go they offer the BEST Go Karts with an amazing fun track that gives everyone tons of fun and laughter it’s like reliving Days of Thunder all over when the parents are racing their kids !!! They offer so much more to a great trail ride with their horses and the batting cages this is our Go To Place in the Northwoods of St Germain!

The museum takes cards or cash. This is a great children's museum. A must stop if you have kids (even older ones). We took our 4 and 11 year olds. The kids had a blast. Good stop for a rainy day or beat the heat. Something for everyone!

Brought my daughter here and was excited to show her the children’s museum of my childhood but I was a little disappointed. There used to be a hospital area in the farthest corner and there was a cool ambulance and things like that. They’ve completely replaced this area for a dimly lit carnival-themed exhibit to learn about parts of your body. There isn’t much to do in there and it was strange that as one of the newest exhibits, all of the interactive components were not working. Except for the slightly unsettling sound of a heartbeat coming from the giant heart showcased in the middle of the room. The bubble machine also didn’t work while we were there but it was towards the end of the day so maybe the bubble solution had just been used up. There’s still a lot to enjoy about this place but for $9 a person, I would expect better maintenance. I will also say we came right before they closed down for spring cleaning so hopefully they’ll be able to fix many of the flaws! Highlights were the fire truck (which seemed to be a newer addition), the train, and the grocery stores which definitely have held their charm through the years!

We loved it so much we went there 2 days in a row! It may seem small at first but there is a lot to do and see. So many great interactive exhibits for kiddos- our 2 year old loved the fishing pond and the glow in the dark room! Excellent place for littles when the weather isnt the best unfortunately we could only stay a couple hours each time because of lunch and a nap. Looking forward to visiting in the future when we can be there longer.

Recently visited on a rainy day when our family was camping in the area. Coming from Eau Claire, home to a recently completed, beautiful children's museum of our own, I wasn't too optimistic when we approached this building from the outside. We didn't have to worry as this place blew Eau Claire out of the water. The difference is one location was funded through donations and grants and another was built, maintained, and added to by a community and set of dedicated individuals that clearly value what they do and what this place is for kids.

So many different areas for your kid to play. Very clean and staff super friendly!

My daughter had a blast here and they do a military discount. Highly recommend for little ones.

I really love this little museum. There is a lot to do and it really speaks to lots of different age groups. I went with a three year old, a four year old, a seven year old, and an eight year old. All of the kids had fun and I personally had a great time too. The four stars were because some of the exhibits weren't working well but most of them were. I would recommend it to anyone with kids and if you don't have kids then borrow some kids and go.

Fall 2023 Checkout the new and improved bike trail! Takes you to the top of Squirrel Hill for great vistas and then after a few switchbacks you are back in the parking lot Aug 2024 Played frisbee golf on the new course and it was fabulous for the entire family

I have never been to Minocqua before. Beautiful area!! My husband and I went Oct. 2022, and the tree colors were peaking, it was gorgeous 🥰! I live in Wisconsin,so I see this every year, but every location has it's own beauty! Minocqua/Winter Park was awesome. Is like to return one day 😎

I’ve been coming here since I was young and I love what they have done to expand the snowshoe trails! The park is absolutely gorgeous. Worth the 2 hour drive and trail pass any day.

Looks like a nice place for various activities. We were there for 18 of disc golf. Lots of elevation up and down.

This is one of my favorite places. It’s a total winter wonderland and a great place to spend a day or weekend xc skiing or snowshoeing. The trail system is so extensive that even on a busy day, you can still find yourself skiing alone. They do a great job grooming the trails and maintaining the parking lot. The chalet is cozy and comfortable for breaks. Definitely recommend.

Awesome Setup & Awesome Volunteer Crew! You sure know how to make folks feel welcome. The warm hearted atmosphere sure shows and the place is very well cared for and that shows!

This was my favorite place I went in the Northwoods this winter. Amazing snow shoeing, great staff and absolutely free to visit. Nothing compares to how wonderful and joyful the Winter Park is.

Renaissance Faire was very small.

I was simply stopping by to have something to do the day before a wedding that I was attending. I hadn’t expected tons from the little winery out in the middle of nowhere, but oh my gosh. It was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend as a must visit if you are a fan of semi-dry to dry wines. They were absolutely delicious and I had a great time chatting about musicals and movies with the owner. He was super kind and generous. If you haven't been here, please do visit. Also, the ice cream is great too.

We popped into Brigadoon Winery this weekend while we were visiting family and had a great time! We did the wine tasting... and stayed for a few more! :) The owners and their daughter are so welcoming and treated us like family! We bought several bottles to share back at home and some homemade beeswax soap their other daughter makes - smells amazing! Wonderful experience! Looking forward to returning!

Drove a little over an hour to see this winery and do some tastings. When we arrived, the place was very well-kept and clean. When we asked the woman working there about touring the winery, she seemed annoyed and had an attitude, telling us that "you should call before you arrive. It's on the website" in a very rude tone. We decided to still do a wine tasting, and before we started, one of the neighbors who helps out at the winery showed up. She was very friendly and we had a great time tasting wines and talking to her. Then, the owner showed up and helped us taste wines as well. The wines, by the way, were very tasty. At the end, we were looking for wines we liked from the tasting to buy, and two both had a 1 for $14 or 3 for $21 bottles deal. We politely asked if we could mix and match three bottles from these two wines, and were told that that would "screw up their inventory". They did not seem to value our business and were not willing to make a basic deal with us when the prices were exactly the same. If the initial service and ability to work with customers as people were better, I would recommend visiting this winery, but we got the impression that we were merely an annoyance for visiting their business. I do not recommend.

The winery is cute & cozy. It has a nice selection of delicious wines plus a variety of craft beers. There is ice cream, the Apple Crisp ice cream was delicious too. A nice selection and unique gifts for the wine lover. A very welcoming place.

Great little hideaway winery. The owners are friendly and informative after you can break the ice with them. They appear a little standoffish at first I will admit. They have a great variety of fruit wines and are decently priced. Worth the look!

This is one of the best kept secrets in the area. If you think a winery off a dirt road in the middle of northern Wisconsin can't be any good this place will prove you wrong. They have a wide selection of whites & reds that are all very good. They offer 5 free tastings but additional ones are cheap. They also have a quiet patio seating area where you can order wine & cheese (of course it's Wisconsin). If you're in the area it's 100% worth a visit.

The wine is great. The family that owns the winery are so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. One can sit on the porch, enjoy the wine, and take in the beautiful scenery. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Free (donations optional) museum buildings located next to a playground park. Staff were knowledgeable and kind. Not a lot of hands-on exhibits for young kids but informative for everyone. Lots of train relics and logging history. Definitely worth the stop.

It's an Excellent way to spend time with your family or strolling alone. They even have pickleball. All the courts were filled with young and old people. Please go enjoy life at the park. Let's make life enjoyable again with good fun.

A very unique park with a lot of history to examine, this is a great place to spend a few hours. We had a quite a few things on our agenda, so we didn't get to see everything, but that just means we'll have to come back again, lol. Well worth visiting, there's so much to see here!

A big surprise! This is an amazing collection of regional history in one stop. The CCC building was beyond expectations. However, the logging building can not be adequately described. The exhibits were perfectly arranged to show the process and the required equipment from start to finish. The life of the loggers was captured so well you could almost feel what it must have been like.

There's so much to learn about and see in each of the seven museums, and it's free! The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area, and about the Hodag. We had a lot of fun!

Perfect place for a family hike. Lots of trails that intersect with beautiful views of the lakes. The observation tower felt sturdy, my nerves were not😅The view was gorgeous, definitely worth coming back again in the Fall. Bathrooms were clean, our kids had fun at the playground and exploring. Hikes are kid friendly.

The highest point in Wisconsin, Timm's Hill is a nice park with great views, easy-going paths, and the wonderful sounds of nature. A short jaunt up to the tower provides phenomenal views of the rolling hills that go on for miles, and a couple of beautiful lakes. The path is normally easy to traverse, though I did have a pretty difficult time breathing due to the smoke from the Canadian wildfires this time around. There is a nice playground area here, plenty of parking, vault toilets, a shelter with picnic tables and grills (and electric), an easy path up to the tower and down to the lake, and additional trails through the woods that meet up with the Ice Age Trail. I did not pick a great day to come here, as the smoke from the wildfires was pretty horrendous, but still had an enjoyable time despite the trouble breathing. The bugs weren't bad, and I didn't get any ticks, though I did not take the trail through the woods this time around like I had originally planned. Well worth visiting! I believe this is a destination everybody should see at some point.

Yep, scratched off another Bucket List item. Wisconsin’s highest point. This was way better than I expected. I walked up to the top and was thinking there are too many tall trees to get a good view here. Well, would you look at this really nice tower they built for us. The only thing taller here is the old Ranger lookout tower. You can leave your name on the Register in the mailbox if you’d like. Lol. Don’t forget to bring a sack lunch, or something to grill, and a paddle lock with you to leave something here to say that you’ve been here. Now I have to go back because I didn’t know that was a thing. I will return. Enjoy…

We take a family trip every fall to hike and explore the beauty of nature. The explosion of colors are well worth the trip and hike to this gem. At the base of Timm's Hill- a nice little playground, pavillion, and bathrooms.

Bring your own pen if you plan on making it to the top & signing the guest book. Love the Northwoods!

Amazing park with a very sturdy tower which leads to an amazing view of the entire state. The restrooms are immaculate, and whoever cleans the toilets is the real hero, and deserves a big raise.

We loved the beautiful trails, especially near the Grandfather Falls section of the Ice Age trail. Cell service is poor except near the shelter house. There are park benches and picnic tables where you can eat, run around or watch the wildlife, plus hiking, biking, picnicking, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. (Or just bring a good book!) Canoes are rented by the day, not the hour, which is good since you'll want to take some time paddling around all the gorgeous, calm water!

Great park! River right next to it with plenty of short little trails to hop around about while enjoying the trees, and woods. Worth a stop to explore!

We came here for the day as we are passing through Wisconsin on our way back to Arizona. Don’t miss out on this park, folks!! It’s is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. THE TREES - OMG. Totally worth the $11 fee for the day (non-resident rate) plus you can also go to any other state park the same day and not have to pay again (we went to Rib Mountain in Wausau later in the day and were pleasantly surprised to learn this).

Camped for the first time a week ago 🍁🍂 Older park, n not very big but well maintained. Nice hiking, not tons but some connect up with recreational trails in Merrill area🚶‍♀️Beautiful views along river/damn area. Not the biggest fan that all electric are inner loop as outer sites have the better views n can't see rt into next campsite. Overall really enjoyed time here n look fwd to camping here again🏕🍁🌲

This was one of the prettiest campgrounds I ever camped at. The campsites were secluded with good amenities and plenty of nature trails and river views to explore. It is close to the town and a Mexican restaurant in particular. Cell service was also not bad. Definitely recommend.

Camped here for a weekend. I'm not sure we will return. Sites were large and wooded and really nice. The restrooms and showers were old and not well maintained (I am assuming the brown stain on the back of the women's bathroom middle stall door that I stared at for 3 days was chocolate for my own piece of mind). At night many of the campers near us gathered in large family groups and had music blaring and kids shouting and screaming well past 11 pm. Quiet hours were not enforced. Not sure if there is even staff for that anymore. Enough to do at the park for a weekend but not much more. A few short hiking trails, a smallish beach. Playground is nice. Focus seems to be in bringing your boat to use on the river/lake. Kids had a blast looking for crayfish at night.

Love this cozy and family friendly theater! The prices are incomparable to any other theater for the quality of service and environment!

Great experience, kids enjoyed the movie as much I did. They even offered a device for subtitles which was great but it wouldn't turn on so that's okay! We had fun anyway.

Clean theaters and friendly staff during our recent visit to see the new Super Mario movie. Their snack counter had good prices and most of all, my kids absolutely loved their experience. 10/10 will go again!

Love the friendly feeling that you get from the staff. And great prices compared to the ones just down the road in wausau. Plus usually less busy than those. Matinee night or weekend matinee is discounted and a couple can get in get sodas each and big popcorn for like 22 bucks

We really enjoy this little theater, making it our go to place for a movie night outing. Great prices make it affordable family entertainment. The staff has always been friendly, the popcorn fresh and plenty of other snacks available, too. The interior is neat with a little walk down an old town street design. With 3 movies to choose from we’ve usually found something to go see.

This is a very charming theatre! Seats are very comfortable and I love how the handles lift up so you can sit right next to your husband! Only suggestion I have is need a little bit different snacks. Thank you for a great first experience! My family will definitely be back!!!

I don’t think I can say enough good things about this theatre. I moved away for a few years and when I came back it was completely remodeled with an added auditorium. Very comfortable seats, big screen, perfect sound and don’t even get me started on the very low prices! The staff is always friendly and if you go there enough they know your order by heart and sometimes have it ready for you. They also give you a convienent tray to hold all your snacks in your arm rest. You do not get this type of VIP treatment at other theatres! Well done Cosmo!

Upset that I just found out about this place a couple hours ago! I like the whole atmosphere, and process. Ordering was easy, plenty of seating, and you could even walk around the farm to burn off the food. Will come back for your Margherita Pizza and the live music!

Our family had a great time at Stony Acres Farm! The pizza was excellent quality and there were a great selection of tasty beers. Prices are reasonable, but you're getting so much more than good pizza and beer at a restaurant. The seating is informal outdoors on the farm's lawn. Use their assorted tables and chairs in the vicinity of the pizza ovens, or bring your own chairs and picnic blanket for the lawn near the play equipment. Pizza assembly occurs out of site indoors, but the pizza is baked in three wood-fired pizza ovens in full view! There are lots of opportunities to see how the fresh ingredients are made on location, and there is also a sign board describing the origin of every ingredient category, including the pigs contributing to the sausage and pepperoni. Pretty much everything but the cheese comes from the farm itself! There is often live music, too. Sit further from the band if you have kids or seek a more reasonable conversation volume. There is even a small collection of playground equipment for the younger kids. Arrive early if you want your pick of seating locations. This place gets busy, and with good reason! 10/10 will return next time I'm in Central WI!

This place is truly wonderful! A fantastic atmosphere, coupled with craft beer and home-made pizza. If you haven't had a chance to check out Stoney Acres, I highly recommend it.

We've been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better and better. The music is always fantastic and the staff is friendly. The pizzas are all made with homegrown and unique ingredients and some may seem different at first but I've never been disappointed. Who would've guessed that hosta shoots would be delicious? Athen's Light, the Maple Dopplebock, and the Rhubarb IPA are all great, but you really can't go wrong with anything on their beer list. This place is family-friendly with a unique atmosphere that can't be beat.

Stone Acres Farm makes great pizzas on Friday and Saturday nights! (Check their website for dates and times.) The pizzas are not cheap, most are around $22, but they are definitely worth it! The crust is thin but the pizzas are very filling. The menu includes creative pizza names with unique combinations of toppings. (Although you'll still find your standard pepperoni and sausage.) All of the ingredients are either grown on the farm or locally sourced, except for probably olive related ingredients. We bought 2 pizzas for 2 kids and 4 adults and had a few slices left over. At a pizza night, you get to experience being on a farm, seeing pigs and chickens, and sometimes you even get to listen to live music! They also have their own brewery.

It was awesome y'all! We got to see a lot of cool pics and the history of where we live. We also got to see a map of all the people that visited from all over America and Alaska and Canada. It was an amazing stop. ❤️

Really nice local history museum with beautiful Native American and pioneer artifacts. Lovely way to spend a couple of hours. The museum is located in the old library, and it’s a wonderful use of the old building. We visited when the museum was not officially opened, but were allowed to look around the first floor. I will definitely return when we can see the rest.

I did the part of the Ice Age Trail as listed on the AllTrails app, but I also drove through the park and found it to be well kept, clean, and beautiful. The restrooms I visited were all good. "The trail at the Dells of the Eau Claire County Park was really awesome. Woods, rushing water, cool rocks.... and it was a beautiful morning. Could not ask for anything more!" I got there early and I was one of three people there, but by 10 AM, the rocks in the river were crawling with kids and adults. Still great listening to the sound of the water, and on the trail it was pretty peaceful.

One of our favorite places to hike in Central Wisconsin. Landscape resembles the Canadian shield. Perfect place to hike, camp, or picnic. Great playground for the littles.

We used the main shelter with two fireplaces and plenty of wood. And it was our first cold Saturday in August. So the fireplaces were great.

Great place for small hikes and exploring nature. The campground is well maintained & bathroom was clean. It has a nice playground, however it is across the county road from the campground.

Beautiful park and hiking trails. Loud party campground. While we enjoyed our stay here, be ready for the unmonitored noisy nights from the drunk crowd.

Loved the park, absolutely beautiful water, and if you know the safe spots you can swim and jump in easily! Absolutely stunning!!!

Hands down loved this place! Everything was conveniently located within walking distance of our campsite. Beautiful hiking trails, breath taking scenic views, nice little swimming area right off the trails, with bathrooms and changing rooms, pavilions ect.

This museum is a gem. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s free but a donation is always appreciated. My 8 year old granddaughter was with me and liked it. We did some crafts in the kids area. In addition to the galleries inside there is a rooftop and sculpture garden.

Wonderful! My first time visiting and it was during the Birds in Art exhibit. I'm a bird watcher so I absolutely loved it! I may have to return again before I leave town. If I'm ever in Wisconsin again I hope it's during the Birds in Art annual exhibit. Love that it is free admission too.

I've been going to the Leigh Yawkey Museum since I was a kid. I've always enjoyed my visits. Heck one time I even had some of my art hanging on the walls there. Maybe it'll happen again sometime. I've seen lots of cool things there over the years. My favorite thus far has been the M.C. Escher exhibit. Today I saw a real Basquiat. No lie! Go there and check it out. Here are some other cool things I saw today!

Simply stunning and the lecture series is so worth the trip! Spend plenty of time strolling the roof top sculpture gardens to grounds and a study of mediums in the vast collection inside. Hard to pick a favorite.

Great venue for music. We went as a group and saw The Nitty Griity Dirt Band farewell tour.

This is such an amazing theater. Gorgeous decor in the theater. Nice seats. Modern bar area with lots of space and outside patio for smokers. Just be prepared for finding parking. Might have to walk a block or two. Can’t wait to come back here.

The last few performances I’ve been to here have had horrible sound issues. One live band ( The Wallflowers) had such loud bass and vocals were so quiet. Could not hear the vocals, the mic was screeching a few times And the bass was blasting for an acoustic rock band set. Tonight we saw cirque Christmas and there was a 1 hour delay because of the sound cutting out. We had to leave at intermission because it was so late. I’ve had friends go to other shows this year and had similar experiences. Not worth the money- which is unfortunate because the people they book are talented but their performance is affected by the sound. And lighting is often too bright and shining in your eyes when u are trying to see these talented acrobats do their thing. The

Iconic local theater with a rich history. I've been attending performances here all my life. The acoustics are great, last night's show was an amazing Johnny Cash tribute. Can't wait for Manheim Steamroller next month!

Wausau CTC is an amazing place to help one start the road to recovery. They have guided me through my journey in recovery and I'll forever be thankful to the staff. They offer many different types of groups to help clients learn how addiction works and how to overcome different situations and stay living a healthy balanced sober life. The counselors are amazing and very understanding as well as helpful with finding different resources in the community. I am very grateful to everyone there that has had a part in my journey. I would highly recommend someone to get help from Wausau Comprehensive Treatment Center if they are struggling from addiction. You will be welcome with open caring arms.

CTC comprehensive treatment center is one of the best facilities for helping with maintenance medication and counseling. Plus group counseling. They really do care about what they’re doing and they’ve received plenty of rewards to prove it. Please do check them out if you are struggling with opioid addiction, they’re easy to get into with next day appointments as long as it’s not on the weekend . They are extremely helpful in every way possible and offer resources for other things that they don’t necessarily have the answers too They’re helping me maintain a much cleaner lifestyle that I would not be able to do without them. I’ve struggled with herion use off and on for Years it but how you work the program depends on whether You wanna put in the work If you just go there for the medication so you’re not sick and spending all your money on drugs all the time then it will help you do that but you’ll spend Every single day going to the clinic just to Dose, you do not get a level when you are using . you go up levels If you stay clean, and you’re in compliance with your Counseling if you’re thinking, you can’t afford this just chill because they do offer gas mileage , Reimbursement and medical transportation through a company called Mtm and the clinic will also help you with getting all the gas mileage forms for trip logging to send in for payment and they will even fax them in for you ! Completely helpful This is if you have forward health/Medicaid state insurance they also take private insurance’s just give them a call to see if they take your private insurance but don’t worry if you don’t have any insurance at all and no state insurance you can also pay cash and $20 a day or 16 something it depends on what you’re on is a lot cheaper than paying $100 a day a bag . so don’t come up with the excuse that you can’t afford it and try to get put on state insurance if you don’t have it and you qualify they are really one of the best for rated methadone clinics around That’s not to say that they don’t offer methadone they also have Suboxone and subulate which is the shot that last of to a month if you really don’t wanna do all the driving but again it’s a situation where you have to stay clean for a while and on Suboxone and if you’re pregnant and using, please a call CTC you can be put on Subutex or/methadone , They have different option Depending on your sobriety from your drug of choice And the level of your addiction,, I recommended if you can stay off opiates for a few days you’re better off getting Suboxone way less Dependency So if you’re tired of your life being chaotic because of your hopeless addiction and tired of always being sick Give CTC a shot they won’t disappoint!!!5 stars for saving my life!!!

My family and I have attended this program for well over 30 yrs between here and appleton and I can say it has saved our lives. I recommend this treatment center all the time. My cousin was the first person to walk through the doors and my parents less then 10 others. I hope this program works for everyone that walks thru the doors.

I love how friendly everyone is at the clinic and how my sobriety has brought me closer with my kids and with myself I'm finally able to be back to my sober self. And I have an amazing counselor without her I wouldn't b where I am today she has been through so much with me and she always says the right things to cheer me and help me make sense of things that r going on in my life that I don't understand.

Wausau Comprehensive Treatment Center has changed my life,I have been dealing with addiction issues most of my life. Since I started attending WCTC I have not just reached multiple sobriety time goals,but also lifestyle changes and my outlook on life and outlook on people in general. This treatment center is amazing if your looking for help with your addiction I've been clean 5 years theyhave a easy tapering plan to each individual to help get off and the counslers are amazing along with the doctor I have been switched a few times from counslers which was anxiety inducing and caused to go back to being leary of them, but so far I've ended up with all amazing counslers and the one I didn't no longer is there. my favorites are starting with my first counsler who came back is brittney then there was Shawna and my current Amelia they have gotten me through alot are always there to listen and help there amazing I really love my counsler she makes me feel safe to open up and talk about anything, and helps in all the best ways she knows. If you decide to taper like I have been they still allow you to do counsling with out the medication, but it also gives you the option of going back on if you need or relapse. My expiernce has been amazing my significant other also went for his addiction but, I'm not happy with his results or his counsler but that's one person and I don't know the full extent of his experience, and I feel like his counsler failed him, but he has stayed in counsling after stopping the medication.

If another facility opened in wausau i would be gone. Never have i seen a business run based on like/dislike. 90 days between levels is ridiculous...much less to do if you keep patients at level 1 or 2 then w a shoddy system in place take levels for stupid reasons. Out of all of your staff only john, Michelle, Kaitlyn, and Karen are worth keeping

WOW I love this Ski Area!! There are so many hill to go down hill from beginner to expert ski. I love the one hill with long and very steep hill because I go down REALLY FAST!!! AWESOME!! I did see one hill have for Snow Skier to do jump trick. There is one lift chair (next to building to left) go pretty steady and slow. While the other lift chair (next to building to right) was going pretty fast. I like that speed so I can get going. I do like their Ski store they have with variety ski outfits and magnet. The tickets line was good but I wish I didn't have to go to window to get my ticket. It would be nice to have a machine outside to scan QR code then it will print ticket out. When I get to ski lift gate to scan my ticket I sometime have problems to scan my ticket thru my Ski coat. I like their Bar restaurant and Cafe place to eat. It seems pretty expensive. I thought it was interesting Cafe offer DISCOUNT for season pass when order foods or drinks. While Bar restaurant doesn't offer one. lastly, one strange fee cost is that at Cafe I don't get E&A FEE at all. While Bar Restaurant does charge me E&A FEE.

We had a spectacular day weather wise for the fall lift ride. The crew running the lift were friendly and very courteous. Very helpful to anyone who needed assistance seating on the lift or exiting the lift. The young lady that was at the ticket booth was very friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be back again next year!

Always come here in March or April when closer resorts are done for the season. Usually after a snowstorm. Always great conditions. Newer amenities. Fast lifts. General atmosphere reminds me of DH which I also love but bigger, with faster lifts and newer everything. These pictures taken on March 20th

If was great. This was the first time on the Lucy without skis. You can get on on top and walk a few trails.

Had to switch plans at the last minute because Cascade was sold out and I now say we are lucky that was the case. Granite Peak was a lot of fun. Great variety of runs, low wait times, friendly staff and a beautiful area. Indoor facilities including dining and bar were decent quality and good service. Will definitely go back.

Nice base area, fast lifts Granite is a great Wisconsin ski hill. Can get a lot of skiing done with the fast lifts and one with mid mountain load/unload so you can lap the steeps or lower mountain. Paved parking lot is a plus.

The fall chairlift rides are a must! Beautiful views.

Recently, I spent about 1 1/2 days visiting the area and casino. I decided to stay overnight. The room cost was $144.50 with a players card. The entire property is beautiful! The rooms are gorgeous. I highly recommend this casino/hotel. The reasons I did not give a 5 star review are free play could have been a bit more generous, discount on food would have been nice and my first room had no hot water.

In short this is a fully automated casino, no human dealers, but its clean, pleasant, and honestly if your just looking for a fun time with a few friends its more than enough. The long story is simple - no human dealers is just boring and the entertainment is as average as it can be but its clean, safe, and afforded me some fun. Myself and a large group had some free time one Saturday evening and decided to visit. It was clean and safe which if you've ever visited casinos that operate in more rural areas earns a star on its own. Now I have grief with that its not advertised anywhere that they don't have human dealers. On top of that there's one automated roulette table, one automated blackjack table, and one automated craps table. Besides that its all slots. If I wanted to sit 5 feet apart from my friends while an AI generated dealer deals me cards on a giant screen I'd just do it at home on my phone. On top of this one of the automated blackjack terminals (idk what to call it but a spot at the big automated table) broke with 80 dollars of my friends money in it and it took staff 20 minutes to resolve the issue despite even talking to someone at security. Staff was generally nice outside the usual young adult/teenage angst which could be found at the restaurants. The food from the restaurants is severely overpriced with a McDonalds down the road but I do concede its good just overpriced. I did not stay at the hotel so I have no notes for there except that parking is abundant which is nice. Now beside those grievances it really was pleasant. Some people won money some people lost it, felt generally average for a casino. the slots had good diversity and I got to watch a few bonuses and small jackpots occur while I was there. I enjoyed myself enough I'd give the location 4 stars if they just advertised the lack of human dealers - not doing so is a little manipulative and should be addressed which is sad because outside that it really is such a nice location considering its a little out there. Or if you're going to be fully automated give me a few more blackjack, roulette, and craps tables - waiting in line essentially to play blackjack is as fun as watching someone else play with your present on Christmas.

What can I say it's a casino and that place especially hold a dear spot in my heart. It was the first casino I went to when I first came to live in this state and where my old roomie went on the spur of the moment. Had so much fun.. highly recommend going.

Had a enjoyable time. Masks are certainly required anywhere inside of the facility, including the onsite gas station. Otherwise there's not much more to say. I was only there to throw a few bucks in the machine.

Love Ho-Chunk will definitely go again soon only 1 hour away employees very nice too especially Karen and her drivers for their shuttle bus from different locations

Please go see this while you can! The artists live and work adjacent to the shop and park. They are true gems not to be missed.(we drove over 2.5 hours to visit!

What a unique place! So many different sculptures to look at and admire. If the owner is there, he will give you a tour and show you some of his "moving" parts sculptures. A must see and a place definitely worth going out of the way to see! There is also a shop where you can purchase some of his wife's beautiful creations!

I come to Marshfield at least once a year during the summer. This is always on my to do list. The gentleman and lady that own and run the place are super nice. It's sort of like an interactive museum, but the exhibits are for sale. Remember to turn on Sugarbush. There's no signs for the place as far as I noticed.

Well worth your time to see. Walked through the at first and it was fun or as some say whimsical. Then talked to the owners and the husband takes you on a tour with funny stories based on the characters he has built out of scrap metals. After that we Walked through again and you notice more things tucked in that you missed the first time. Well worth the time.

I absolutely loved this sculpture garden! Brilliant work, lovely setting, and just so cool. You gotta visit this one!!!

This is just a fun place no matter what the age. The gentleman who owns it and tells the stories is a hoot. Just love it there.

Best smoked bacon with no exceptions. On the expensive side but at the company store you can buy it in 5#packages and it becomes a much better bargain. Drove 40 miles out of our way to buy this bacon. Staff was absolutely helpful and thoughtful.

This is probably the best bacon you'll ever eat. We bought 10 lbs to take home. Great gift shop too! Worth the trip, They also sell some outstanding fresh meats as well.

Was driving from Green Bay to Minneapolis and decided to check out the town of Wittenberg. I'm so glad I got off the highway and headed into town. I drove right by this gem of a place and decided to turn around and check it out, it looked too awesome not too. It is a beautiful store and maintained grounds. The place was packed to the point of having a hard time getting around. I decided to go with some summer sausage as I was travelling. Haven't tried it yet, but I imagine it will be good.

Oh my, oh my!!! This place is heaven 😍. The smell is something I wish they could bottle and make a cologne, it’s smells soooo good. The selection of beef and pork products is overwhelming, in a good way. They have a lot of other local options like popcorn, cheese, maple syrup, pickled everything, jams, baskets for gifts, etc. It is a very cool place outside and inside, a must visit when you are in the area. You can tell there is a lot of history here and the quality of their product and very helpful staff shows in every way. Thank you for a great experience and count on me stopping by everytime in the area.

Go there twice a year to stock up on bacon and other goodies best bacon ever.

Wow, absolutely love their cheese selection, and the prices are great as well! We really liked that they had an abundance of cheese samples to try. Definitely will be back when we come through the area again.

This is the retail store to the huge cheese factory across the street. Besides cheese, the store has salamis, bacon, whey powder, ice cream, honey, jams, cheese knives. Nice selection of a variety of cheeses. Very clean.

Great place to go for some amazing collection of Wisconsin cheese and cheese curds, not too far from the highway, must try.

I agree with others—the cheese curds at Mullins are no longer what they used to be. These aren't the fresh, squeaky curds we’ve loved for years. Instead, they’re now sliced blocks of cheese, and they actually suggest microwaving them to "get the squeak" back. What the heck?! At over $6 a pound, I expect fresh, quality curds—not this disappointing substitute. Sadly, Mullins just isn’t the same anymore, and I won’t be making it a regular stop going forward. They’ve built a new, much larger store that feels more like a tourist attraction than the traditional, small-town cheese factory it once was. Even the scrap ends were over $5 a pound. Unfortunately, it’s no longer the place to go for delicious, authentic curds.

I love the variety of different cheeses and cheese curds they have. Each person in my family likes something different, and there's always something for each of us.The fresh fried cheese curds are the best. I love that there's more flavored ones now. I'm pregnant, and the dill flavored cheese curds is one of my cravings. It's not far from where I'm located so it's easy to send my husband for.

Mullins Cheese Want cheese? This is the best place to go. They have a huge variety of cheese, seasonings, ice cream, and the best cheese curds I’ve ever had. You can take home a piece of Wisconsin with you. The service is absolutely amazing. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The variety and quality of the cheese are great. If you love cheese, this place is a must-visit!

We absolutely love this company + their store. Such friendly service. Clean facility and so many wonderful selections. We enjoyed the best cheese curds we've ever eaten while we watched a short video about the company and facility on the TV. We heard from other guests that these cheese curds are the Best of any. It’s free to visit. Parking is ample. Art is subject to the viewer so some may really enjoy and some may not. The walk itself was enjoyable but the amount of mosquitos makes the walk slightly unbearable. I found some of the sculptures to be a little on the weirder side with pretentious signs explaining the artists meaning behind the sculpture. I found a few of the sculptures to be very well made and unique while others in my opinion were odd and out of place with no real thought put into them. I think this place is one best formed with your own opinion, all depends on what you like to look at.

I visited the sculpture park while in town on business. What a gem! I enjoyed a serene walk through the woods while admiring the artwork. As with all art, some pieces spoke to me more than others. I particularly liked the artwork that focused on nature and blended seamlessly with the surroundings. The trail was well maintained and the path had no major hills, so it is easy to walk. I encountered a few other visitors with bikes and dogs. It takes an hour or less to see everything. I highly recommend visiting this local treasure spot!

This was a great option to stop at along a road trip route to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. The park is kept up very nicely, and has a nice clear walking path. Unfortunately for me the mosquitoes were very bad during our time so I ended up cutting my walk short because I didn’t think to take bug spray.

We stopped here to stretch our legs on a roadtrip. The trail is at the front of the parking lot on the right. Nice trails. You will see the sign for the sculpture garden, follow the sign.

I have been blessed to come here hundreds of times over my life and can say these are not just the best curds in the state but in the country. All of the other selections of cheese are just fantastic as well. I love the whips, various selection of Italian cheeses and the delicious chocolate shoppe ice cream on the side.

Theres probably a good chance, when we die, we will go somewhere like the Wisconsin Dairy State Cheese Company. This place has got the cheese and it is cheese galore. This is definitely a must stop on your way through the area.

This cheese store has so many varieties of cheese available. Some very unique flavors that I've only found here and a handful of flavored cheese curds. It's great that they still squeak when you get them to your car!

Drove for an hour and a half to get here for some cheese. The prices are good and the selection is great. Plus fresh cheese curds that barely made it to the car before we dug in!! Will be back again. :)

Loved the huge selection of beers and ciders. We went on a tour and it was interesting but wished it had a little more history of the brewery rather than general info about beer. Live music outside on the day we went so that was great. Got to sit outside, enjoy the beautiful day, and there were even a few pups outside with their families too. Will go again!

We took the 1PM tour with Pierce! He was awesome! Highly recommend if you are in the area. So much history to learn about this place! Also, great selection of beer. We sat outside to enjoy the weather for a while! We will definitely come back!

I have been through Steven’s Point many times. This was our first time stopping at the Point Brewery… Why did I wait so long??!! It’s a cool little stop in a residential neighborhood that seems like an unexpected area for a brewery. We stopped in just to see the place. We didn’t have time for the tour, but wanted to check out the buildings, tasting room retail shop. Let’s just say… this place is worth a stop. Our recommendation . Buy the tour ticket for $10. You get a free pint glass and 4 sample coupons. Get your self four 7oz samples in the tasting room which is perfect. And less expensive since a sample costs $6 on its own if you buy it at the bar. If you don’t use the sample coupons you can turn them in for a bottle of beer in the gift shop. Two coupons gets you one bottle. The tasting room is reminiscent of an old world bar and worth the stop on its own. There is a large outside area for sitting with great tables, and ambiance. Stop in at the point brewery. Worth your time even if going a few miles out of the way. And, you can get their beer by the bottle or case in the retail shop. And they have many varieties. More than I ever knew!!

Great place to learn and sample. $10.00 tour, 4 samples and a souvenir glass, can’t be beat! There’s a small gift shop, an outdoor beer garden and a really nice bar. Plenty of beer and cider varieties to try.

We attended a Suprise birthday party here for a family member last Sunday. We found the Tap Room cool and inviting - a great place to take your friends and have a beer and watch an event on one of their large TVs. The tap room was connected with both their gift shop and a large, indoor eating room, which looked out through a wall of windows and doors to a private, fenced in area, where we had our private event. The tap room offers a selection of beer and tasty sodas, plus pizza and a few snacks. Reasonable prices! We were allowed to bring our own food for our party. The outdoor area was fenced in and featured both tables and sturdy chairs in the under roof patio area, plus some picnic tables under umbrellas in the grassy area. The facility offered corn hole games and a huge Jenga set for the kids to play with. Good service from the friendly staff made the event easy to happen. Clean bathrooms. Wheel chair accessible. I wish we lived closer because I'd make it a point to drop by occasionally.

This is one of my favorite brewery tours. It’s fun for all ages. You get a pint glass and get to sample beer, cider or sodas. I did not make a reservation for the tour but it’s recommended. Outdoor patio is fantastic. Carry in food is allowed.

Such a welcoming atmosphere. Took the tour with our guide, Gracia. So much fun & free 7 ouncers!! Sat on the patio soaking up the Oct sun. Had the pizza which was delish! Overall a phenomenal experience!

Attended an event here and loved the brewery. The room came with drink tokens so we all enjoyed delicious beverages and food the organizer brought in. Plenty of room, great beer, staff was friendly! Has a wonderful time and bought a couple pint glasses on the way out!

We took the brewery tour & our guide was excellent. The tour was very nice. The bar & merch prices are super reasonable. $4/drink is unheard of! Everything was clean, including the bathroom. I'm not sure how the food situation works, but supposedly you can order food. I would absolutely go back, even though it's a 50 min drive.

This brewery was recommended to me in 2018. I don't get back "home" very often but this time, I made a trip with no real plans and decided to visit. The flight of beers I had were absolutely amazing! Though, the Octoberfest was a little lacking in body -for my tastes- but still marvelous. The staff was fun and helpful in recommending selections to me. 💯 cannot recommend this place enough.

fantastic brewery out in rural wisconsin. great if you like barrel aged beers, friendly staff, wide selection laid back vibe. just wish they had a kitchen but they have food trucks on the weekend. a must visit spot for craft beer fanatics.

What a fantastic find. If you’re looking for a brewery in the heart of Wisconsin, look no further. They have SO many beers on tap and canned that it’s hard to choose from. The atmosphere is perfect as they have a ton of room inside and out. There is usually a food truck parked along side the building and there is corn hole outside for family fun. Even the merchandise area is awesome, a lot of options to choose from. The staff that was pretty stellar as well. Overall, great place to spend a summer day/evening!

OK beer. Was looking to buy some bottles to bring home. Staff was completely useless in providing suggestions. Without any guidance I ended up with two bottles for $50, price tags is not a thing anymore apparently. Probably worth it for Central Waters, but that was my first and last visit.
