Great Northern Mall

Shopping mall
Shopping
Great Northern Mall, located at 4954 Great Northern Blvd in North Olmsted, is a spacious shopping destination featuring department stores like Dillards, Macys, JCPenney, and Sears alongside smaller specialty shops. The mall also houses a cinema and casual eateries for visitors to enjoy. Despite the closure of some stores over the years, the mall remains well-maintained and offers a bright and cheerful atmosphere with well-curated displays.
I Go Here Mostly every week It’s Better Than Other Malls great Dillards Dicks And JCPenney I Go On Tuesdays It’s Not Busy At all Great Abandoned Places Like Sears forever 21 rainbow And Rue 21 Please Put it A Closed For good Google maps also Great Chairs And Colors My Favorite Store At This Mall Is Macys / Macy,s backstage They Have A Toys R Us In Macys GREAT Macys Also Has Beds And. Chairs And Clothes This Is The best Mall In The world

Wet nice mall. Quiet. Clean. Many of the old stores we love! We are from out of town and spent some time there shopping before our flight. The Christmas town store was great! We bought ornaments and were able to customize them right there. Food court smelled great and they had a family lounge/ bathroom for kids and babies. Parking was also easy.

I visit this mall almost every week, and it’s honestly one of my favorite places to go. Compared to other malls in the area, this one is so much better — it’s clean, comfortable, and has a great mix of stores. Some of my go-to spots are Dillard’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and JCPenney. I usually visit on Tuesdays, and that’s the perfect day because it’s not busy at all. You can shop in peace, walk around without crowds, and just enjoy the atmosphere. The mall has a nice layout, great seating areas, and the color scheme gives it a really pleasant vibe. There are a few stores that have closed down, like Sears, Forever 21, Rainbow, and Rue21 — those areas give off that interesting “abandoned mall” feel, which actually makes walking around kind of unique. It would be great if Google Maps marked those stores as permanently closed, though! My absolute favorite store here is Macy’s, especially Macy’s Backstage. They have such a wide selection — clothes, furniture, beds, and even a Toys “R” Us section inside, which is awesome for both kids and nostalgic adults. Macy’s really makes the whole mall experience even better. Overall, this is truly the best mall in the world to me. It has everything I need, great stores, great atmosphere, and a relaxing vibe every time I visit. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already!

Best Mall in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan area. I've been to all malls in these locations. This one seems to keep their facilities clean and aren't falling apart like the others. Looks like their vendors happiness is also much higher meaning there is more places to explore.
Charles T — Google review
Overall this is a decent mall. There's not very many stores and some sell the same things. The vendors in the middle were very pushy about selling their products which was annoying. There's a decent variety of food to choose from including snack stores and the food court. They have a small arcade as well. There's plenty of parking and entrances to get into the mall.
Mariah — Google review
The young lady on 8/92025 whom was cleaning the food court was doing an awesome job!! She made sure the tables were always clean and dry. I loved that she even cleaned the seats and benches. She was very pleasant and I appercited her being consist and though.

Texas Roadhouse Grand opening at Great Northern Mall. I got takeout and the meal was served fresh, hot and was delicious! Everything went smoothly with my order considering it was their first night.
Renee F — Google review
Great place, but I do miss Sears and the theater. Please save the Mall! It's becoming a ghost town. Way too many empty stores. I remember before the mall was a huge field where the city set off fireworks. And May company was this classy looking store standing all alone, to expensive to shop at. I don't want this property to turn into a retirement complex like Rockport shopping center. The city has to do something before it ends up closing. There's a lot of us who don't shop online. I shop a lot at Macy's, they have great sales for men and women. Like $5 cotton tshirts. Spencers is cool, too, lots of fun stuff.

Regal Crocker Park

Movie theater
Fun & Games
IMAX theater
Theater complex with multiple screens featuring new release films, plush seating & concession stand.
We love this Regal theater. We are Regal Crown Club members and almost exclusively watch films here because of its location in Crocker Park, Westlake, Ohio. Recliner seats throughout, easy parking, clean restrooms, abundant snack bar, and professional staff make this our go to. Before or after a show, there a plenty of great restaurants to walk to for a lunch or dinner.
Richard S — Google review
Regal Theatre at Crocker Park is an old gem that's well-maintained and still offers a great movie-going experience. The theatre has a classic charm and is kept in excellent condition. One of the best perks is the convenient parking; you have free garages within Crocker Park and additional parking options between Market District and Nordstrom Rack. It's easy to find a spot and enjoy a hassle-free visit. Overall, it's a fantastic place to catch a movie with friends or family. 🍿🎬

I’ve never felt as unsafe at a movie theater as I did last night. The couple in the row behind us were talking loudly throughout a majority of the movie. They then started being inappropriate with each other, which is when my sister went to find a worker to intervene. The worker came in, watched them for about 30 seconds, then left. The couple then went back to what they were doing for the rest of the movie. Afterwards, the girl behind us started yelling “who complained I want to fight”. She took off her jacket and was saying my sisters name saying she wanted to fight her. Her boyfriend was physically restraining her, and we quickly exited the theater. She then continued yelling and sprinted down the hall at us, being extremely aggressive and swinging her arms at another young man who intervened. There needs to be security on every level of the theater, especially in situations like this. After the worker left without saying a word to them it felt like we were being set up to be attacked at that point. I don’t expect staff who are young kids to have to deal with confrontation, but there needs to be someone there for situations like this. We had absolutely no support from the staff, and no sense of security. If another couple wouldn’t have intervened who knows what would have happened. I won’t be going back to that theater again after this experience. Paid $120+ for tickets and popcorn/snacks just to have a terrible experience. We need to do better & things need to change, but until then I’ll be staying out of the theater.
Mallory A — Google review
Went here to watch the new Superman and it was awesome! The large Pepsi was actually EXTRA large and so was the popcorn we got! I especially loved the recliner seats and had my feet up for the entire movie! I want to come back and watch more movies soon!
Mike C — Google review
I been going to “Regal Crocker Park” movie theater over six years . The place is always clean, the employees are friendly. The food is amazing. Like the 2D, 3D, and IMAX movies. The IMAX movies sounds so amazing. I always have a blast watching movies in this theater.
Rodney P — Google review
Theather is dated, but nice enough. Very friendly people at the snack shop. My issue is with their IMAX offering however, their screens and audio systems are not "cutting edge" in any percievable way. Screens are the correct aspect ratio, but not much bigger than a "normal" theater. They're using digital projectors like everywhere else these days, no 70mm clarity here. Audio is clear and the soundstage is acceptable, but I expected to feel the bass, and it was mostly absent. I also thought they'd have Dolby Atmos or another 3D sound system by now, but it's same old 6 channel surround sound. They also had nearly 45 minutes of ads that played at showtime, as if 3 hour movies are not long enough already. Bottom line It's a fine well maintained theather, but they are not delivering 3x the experience for 3x the price of non-IMAX competitors.
Ken M — Google review
Went to catch a movie and expected popcorn, previews, and a nice time. What I got instead was the angriest employee I’ve ever encountered in any industry. He seemed genuinely upset that I was… existing? He mumbled aggressively while tearing my ticket like it had personally wronged him. Slammed the scanner on the counter like it owed him money. Then, halfway through trying to find my seat, he randomly asked me — with zero context — if he could “butter me.” I don’t know if that was supposed to be a joke, a threat, or some sort of twisted theater pickup line, but I didn’t stick around to find out. Not sure what kind of employee training program this place has, but it shouldn’t include unsolicited dairy-based questions. One star for the surreal story. Zero stars for customer service. Avoid them unless you’re in the mood to be glared at and metaphysically buttered.
Andrew J — Google review
Tonight (9/6/25), we attended the 10:25 pm showing of The Conjuring in the IMAX theater. The theater itself was impressive, offering a fantastic visual and audio experience that truly immersed us in the film. The picture quality was excellent, and the sound was top-notch. Unfortunately, the experience was significantly ruined by the behavior of a large group of teenagers. Throughout the movie, they were screaming, moaning, and yelling profanities. Their disruptive actions culminated in them repeatedly flipping the theater lights on and off, which completely broke the immersion and ruined the final moments of the film. While the IMAX experience of The Conjuring was superb, the lack of crowd control made for a very frustrating experience. For anyone hoping to enjoy a movie in peace, I would strongly advise against attending a late-night showing here, especially on a Saturday. It's a shame that a great venue was overshadowed by such a negative and distracting environment.

Mapleside Farms

Event venue
Shopping
Apple orchard in a quaint country setting with event spaces for weddings, receptions & concerts.
1st time here Great venue. open seating. Bring a chair to sit in or stand. ( sitting for several hours vs standing is better ) Plenty of food trucks with different options. They offer a summer concert every Friday. Summer pass is then $50 . free parking and even a shuttle service to the back parking lot.
Dean S — Google review
Although a hidden gem in my younger years, I'm so glad that it's not a hidden gem now. Whether it be a daily occurrence like this visit was the other night. A special event, a concert and as we all know, lovely, fall time here, amazing place.
Jeff M — Google review
I recently attended the "Vino the Way" event at Mapleside Farms and had a great time! The event kicked off with a fun tractor ride to the corn maze, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. The five tasting stations could have offered a bit more variety in wine and beer selections, but the staff at each station were friendly, entertaining, and very helpful. After the tastings, we explored the Pumpkin Village. It has a good mix of activities for both adults and children, making it a perfect spot for families. We also shopped at the apple store, which had a great selection of farm-fresh apples from the orchard. Additionally, we tried the new "Bloom" bakery. The ladies at the bakery were extremely friendly, and everything from cupcakes to bread tasted great. I especially appreciated that the desserts were not overly sweet. However, I didn't notice any prices on the baked goods, so I would recommend displaying them better in the future.

This is one of the better fall spots to visit with an array of activities and fun filled events. We enjoyed everything we had the opportunity to try. There is an awesome super sized slide that is totally worth it. Great family fun!
Chris C — Google review
What a beautiful place for concerts! The staff is amazing as are those who run the food/beverage trucks! In fall they offer amazing fun for the whole family. A must see and do!

This is a nice family experience the big slide was huge hit with the kids and the pig race was sooo cute cant wait to check it out again in the summer but it was absolutely beautiful for the fall
Crystal V — Google review
We’ve been doing the Vino the Way (corn maze with wine/beer and charcuterie) for 4 years now. It’s always a blast and we will keep this tradition alive as long as we can. The wine/beer samples are always delicious and there’s additional snacks and fresh donuts that can be purchased (highly recommend the fresh donuts!).
Kathleen V — Google review
This place was awesome! We went with my husband's work. We had a pig roast buffet in the fancy barn. Then we and some of our kids and grandkids went down the slide, rode some rides, watched the swine races and too much more to name. It was a blast! This is a great place!!

Beautiful Friday evening and incredible music; great weekly summer event!
Beinbagger — Google review
Last year we rented kayaks from this location and while mine was new and in good condition my friend’s kayak was not maintained and allowed water to enter causing it to sink. We had to go on an island empty it and come back. This year due to the amazing river views we opted to try again. We both made a rental for 8am and no one was there. The phone goes to voicemail as well. I am appalled at the lack of customer service and care with this location.

This organization really has the city of Lorain's best interest in mind. Without them we wouldn't have Rockin On The River, which is one of my favorite things to attend in the summer. I'm always excited to see what they do with Midway Mall since they are the owners now!

I love silver run. Then customer service is out great. The wine is a party pleaser. I took it to a Friendsgiving tonight everyone who tried it took a picture of the bottle. They will be buying it too.

Rustic place with a great patio for the summer. The dry wines could use a little work but their sweet wines were very tasty if you like those. Typical Ohio Winery.

We held a bridal shower at Silver Run and it was the perfect venue for it. Chris was very helpful throughout the whole process, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend for any event you might be looking to host!

Had an excellent mixed drink and great service!
TEK T — Google review
Very cute and beautiful winery. I visited Silver Run winery as part of a tour of wineries near Wadsworth that friends had arranged to celebrate my graduation. We were greeted with a happy face and helped immediately. The staff was very knowledgeable about their wines and the selection was great. Once we got our wines, we sat out on their beautiful patio and relaxed. The one down side to this winery was they didn’t offer fresh cheeses or charcuterie and although samples are available, flights are not.
Julianne K — Google review
The place is huge and the atmosphere is in a grogeous pioneer theme. Great place to host parties, (wedding reception, baby and wedding showers, graduations.) Wine is only served there. No food, but you can bring in your own food. Large indoor seating with cozy fireplace, large deck and bottom stone patio with gas firepit. 14? different types of handcrafted wines, (NOT from a kit)
Laurie W — Google review
Good wine, fair price, great atmosphere
Benjamin D — Google review
Went for a wedding reception. Loved it. We had 3 excellent wines while we were there. Very nice dining area, kind of rustic feel. And they have a large outdoor patio area in the back that looks out over the vineyard. A great experience. Unfortunately I can't comment on the cost since it was a catered event, but I'd be willing to go back and give it a try on my own dime since it was such an enjoyable experience. I assume they don't normally have food as well, but the wine atmosphere and staff were all A+.

Castle Noel

Mentioned on
2 lists
Museum
Christmas store
Castle Noel is a captivating and ever-evolving destination that offers a wide array of unique events and attractions. From Hawaiian Luaus to the Christmas museum, gift shop, and Alien Golf, there's always something new to experience. While souvenirs may be on the pricier side, the overall tour price is justified by the sheer amount of things to see. Visitors can even get their picture taken with Santa at an affordable rate.
Castle Noel is an absolute blast. It's so much fun and you will see something from your favorite christmas movie. It does not matter what movie you like they have something from it. You will feel like a kid again here. This is a must do when you are in cleveland. Forget the christmas story house. Come see a castle. Buying tickets ahead is a must. Tour groups are limited to 14 people, and they depart roughly every 30 minutes. The tour guides are super fun. Be warned though it is a 2 hour walking tour. Plan accordingly. It's great for kids and families and older adults. Everyone will enjoy this place. Also, Dwight is an amazing tour guide. I have had him twice now and is absolutely the best.
Zach B — Google review
Visited this amazing place today - and we highly recommend it for not only Christmas lovers but also for anyone that is a Christmas movie buff, and those that love art and theatre! Our guide Tim was fantastic and truly made the tour come to life! We had a great time strolling down memory lane with the “toys of yesteryear” and it was fun hearing folks get excited as they pointed out their childhood favorites. Visiting Castle Noel was a highlight of our visit to the Cleveland area. Thank you Tim!!!

My son and I were visiting from Tampa and took the tour through Castle Noel. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone! If you love Christmas, this is the place for you! And if you’re a Scrooge, you need to go because you will leave there loving Christmas! 😊 I wish we had something like this in Florida but I feel this is truly a one of a kind experience! Thank you to Mr and Mrs Klaus for your hard work and pure love that you obviously put into this place. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and will warm the coldest of hearts. Worth every penny!! 🎄🎄
Janet R — Google review
Castle Noel was such a fun and unique experience! It really feels like stepping into a Christmas movie. The decorations, lights, and displays are so detailed, and there’s something to look at around every corner. It’s one of those places that brings out your inner kid — you can’t help but smile the whole time. Definitely worth checking out, and a perfect spot to visit with family or friends. Wear comfortable shoes there’s a lot of walking and standing!
Katarina D — Google review
We had an awesome time at Castle Noel! Loved all the displays and toys. You can truly see how much time, love, and Christmas spirit has been put into this place. A huge shout out to Bill for making our tour fun!
Rose G — Google review
Several improvements and more finished displays since our last visit a few years ago. It's a 90 minute or so guided tour with many photos, toys, and games from the 1950s and 1960s, and one-of-a-kind artifacts from TV shows, movies, and New York department store windows. A very unique place you should visit once for a trip down Christmas memories lane.
Jim B — Google review
Impressive collection of movie memorabilia and window displays. Enjoyed the tour and all the scenery. We went on a weekday in November with plenty of free parking. Met the owner who presented on his newest project. A good experience. Buy tickets in advance or you may regret trying your luck to get in otherwise
My G — Google review
Me and my friend went today and had the absolute best experience! We loved all of our guides and how fun they made the experience. But we wanted to shout out Bill who absolutely made our visit. He did such a wonderful job, was so friendly and we could not say better things about him. We would genuinely come back just to see him! If you see this Bill we thought you guys were pretty cool too :) this place is close to home but everyone should get that experience. I applaud all of the staff and everyone behind all of it because it is unlike anything else you will ever see. Thank you all again!

Loved this market, didn't know you can pick your own fruit. We missed the cherries. Definitely next time. We did pick sunflowers 🌻, gorgeous variety. 25.00 all you can fit in a vase. We bought apples, some homemade cookies and a variety of goodies. The apples were so fragrant and tasty! I would highly recommend the pristine apples. They have over 70 varieties of apples. 1/4 a peck for 5.00, can't beat it! Don't forget bent ladder is right next door.

Love this place! Great fresh produce. Cut your own fresh flowers in season. Bakery. And you have to check out the Bent Ladder Winery when you're visiting the orchard. Great garden area to kick back, relax, and take in the gorgeous view of the rolling hills while you enjoy some local wine or cider and a cheese and fruit plate.

We have been coming here for the past 6 years for berry picking- they are the best!!! Wonderful, friendly employees; best bakery; they keep their social media updated so well so you have the most up to date info. We look forward to coming here every year!!!

We went to pick apples here. The orchard was very close to the store. Directions were easy to follow. Tasty apples. The store also had some delicious treats like cinnamon bread and cider.
Anastasia T — Google review
I came here last Sunday with my husband to pick strawberries. This is my first time picking fruit at a farm. It was the first or second day of strawberry season, and we got to pick a full bucket of large and delicious strawberries! A kind stranger told us that the strawberries that are up the hill and fardest away from the main building were the largest and most ripe. She was right! We spent 30 minutes picking strawberries and it was very fun! The downside is the strawberries were ripe so you must eat them all within a day, or freeze them and make smoothies with the frozen strawberries. You must buy their white bucket for $1.50 each, and if you plan on returning, keep the bucket and come back with the same bucket to pick strawberries.
MonaLisa B — Google review
Love Rittman Orchard! Bring your little kiddos and the rest of the family, to pick berries in the summer. Currents and gooseberries are sold in the store. They sell high quality produce, fresh baked pies and cookies. Gifts from local artisans, soap's, honey made from the bees on the orchard. One of my favorites is apple butter made from their very own apples. One of the best things to do is enjoy ice cream after picking berries, sit on the porch, and enjoy the spectacular view. This is a great place to visit it's worth it!

Berry picking at Rittman Orchards has become a cherished tradition for our family. They have full, delicious strawberry plants. Their blueberry bushes are gorgeous. We also pick red raspberries. Be sure to save time to browse their store and Bent Ladder Winery. We always have a lovely day when we visit.

Even though it was busy today being fall, everything seemed well managed. There’s not a lot of u-pick options, so be sure to check their Facebook for updates, but I didn’t mind. They still have lots of options in the market and I felt safe, considering their precautions. I also didn’t see anyone not wearing a mask that should have been. I think everyone is just happy to get out of their house and it shows. It was a great place to relax while being able to support a local business.

Buckeye Woods Park

Mentioned on
1 list
Park
Nature & Parks
Buckeye Woods Park is a stunning destination that offers a diverse range of activities for everyone. Whether you're a leisurely walker or an avid runner, you'll find beautifully paved paths winding through light woods and around a serene pond. Nature enthusiasts can explore longer gravel trails that meander through dense forests, providing ample opportunities for hiking and wildlife spotting. Families will appreciate the playground, picnic shelter, and soccer field—perfect for keeping kids entertained while enjoying quality time together.
Great Park, first time here, I loved it. It's beautiful. Several different trails to walk, or run. You can even pick up a bike and take on the trails. There is an asphalt path that goes around the fishing pond. Along this trail there are benches to sit taking nature. At the end of this trail you will connect you to the wetlands Restoration pond. This trail is a crushed stone pathway. There is no shade on this trail so be prepared. I had plenty of bird sightings from yellow chickadees, swifts, and even a turkey vulture. Also picked up a sighting of I believe a red-headed crane, but I think it was just a blue heron. Plenty of butterflies along the way. At the end of this path it brings you to a old renovated barn. There is also a restroom at the end of this path. Continuing on the path you will come up on a observation deck looking over the wetlands. There are all sorts of flowers, trees, and water throughout your walk. There's a small playgrounds area with a few climbing apparatuses and swings. I feel this is for younger kids. They also have soccer and baseball fields. There is plenty of room and there is a gazebo and plenty of picnic tables throughout the area. From the parking lot you can also pick up the Schleman's Nature Preserve Trail.

We used to love this park with my family. Kids were enjoying riding on bicycles around the lake, but lately the management completely ignoring major problems that happens there. First of all, the Lake - needs to be cleaned up and all dead fish to removed(horrible viewing) Secondly - playgrounds, that mulch needs to refresh and to be added the new ones! Because of the broken and dirty swings it is dangerous to let your kids play there I would love to continue to visit Buckeys as it is next to my house however management needs to take actions!

This park boasts a great walking path made up of fine gravel and sand with very few inclines for those looking for a nice stroll. It meanders through the woods out around a lake teaming with various fowl, including a couple pair of swans. See if you can spot the muskrats coming out of their homes to play by the waters edge.

Two great kids playgrounds with a noce scenic toepath around a small lake, with a wooden bridge going over it at one point. There are public restrooms located nearby the playgrounds. A few soccer fields and baseball fields are at this park as well.

I had never been here before today and I feel like I've been missing out!!! The views are unbelievable! The trail is all very flat and mainly gravel. We did about 3 miles altogether but didn't finish the entire trail. It has options to go left or right several times and we only did the one way! Can't wait to back again

Allen Memorial Art Museum

Art museum
Museums
The Allen Memorial Art Museum, located at Oberlin College, is a free museum that boasts an impressive collection of over 13,000 works of art spanning various periods and regions. The museum's eclectic architectural beauty houses mostly European and American works alongside global and ancient art. Visitors find the museum charming and welcoming, with well-curated exhibits such as the Eva Hesse drawings and modern art. Additionally, the museum is attached to a top-rated local music and arts college in Oberlin, Ohio.
I love the diversity of their collection for such a small campus and location. I have been to cities with populations exponentially larger where their museums do not have half the collection and style of the Allen. It is a wonderful utilization of space and architecture, blended in with the works themselves. It is always worth stopping in when you are nearby!

A beautiful Museum with a stunning collection of European, Asian and American art. Until Nvember there is a wonderful exhibition:Pucturing Paris. Monet and the Modern City with three exceptional paintings by Monet, two of them loaned from Germany and the Netherlands. A must see.

"Challenge". This is a local museum for me. It is a great museum and its attached to the local music and arts college college. This is an awesome Museum and the college is rated the top five arts and Musical colleges around the US students from all over the country come just to attend this college. Aside from the college and Museum this place is directly in the middle of town of Oberlin Ohio and has one of the oldest theaters right across the street! It is just been recently remodeled by the great comedian. There's also some other old shops around in the buildings and plenty of other culture cuisine options in the town. There's a great park down the road from the museum and it's just all around a great little town. Come check it out! Best part about the Arts Museum here is it free of charge!!!! 0$ 😁

Such a treasure! Art from around the world and also from the US, housed in an architecturally stunning building. I loved that the museum wasn’t so large that you could take your time to visit all the galleries. Our favorite piece was a ceremonial robe from Africa. Well worth the visit to Oberlin - a perfect way to spend a fall day!

I was looking forward to visiting this museum but when I did, I was so disappointed at the lack of art, atmosphere etc. A few dinosaurs and that's about it. I am skipping it next time.

Went with the family here today and it was a terrific experience. Our guides Nick and Gabby were very fun, knowledgeable and did a great job balancing the zip line experience with the experience of being in nature. They were very positive and great at spotting where everyone needed help or encouragement. The 8 zip lines and 3 bridges took 3 hours so it was well worth the cost of admission. Make sure to hydrate beforehand as it can be humid. They are also good about providing drinking water bottles for everyone that clips onto your harness in case you get dehydrated. Would definitely come here again in the future.

Jared and Morgan were absolutely amazing tour guides. I have an issue with heights but wanted to do this as a challenge for myself. They both had very kind words of encouragement. I will definitely be back next season with a bigger group

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Jackson and Cavan were friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and truly provided a fun experience! They were great with adults and kids: making us all breathe a little easier. BEAUTIFUL property, well-maintained buildings, and zip lines. Don’t hesitate: put the tickets in your cart, and BUY THEM! This experience was the best, and so “close to home!”

This was my first time zip lining, and it was so much fun! Our guides Carly and Jackson were funny and made sure we all felt safe and comfortable each step of the way. The short educational session at the beginning was very helpful to ensure we knew all hand signals. I would highly recommend this place for any first time zip liners!

My son and I were first time canopy zip liners. Jared and Morgan were excellent guides. They were careful, patient and knowledgeable about the canopy area. We felt completely safe and had a blast. We will definitely do it again. The early Fall weekday time proved to be great as we had a two person tour in the cool quiet of the woods. A terrific experience!

This was honestly an amazing zip line experience, I have been on a couple and this is by far the best one yet. The guides are very personable and fun and the course is also fun and keeps going. This is about a 2-2.5 hour adventure there were 8 of us in the group that went out. Definitely would recommend and do again.

My mom and I did the Zipline Canopy Tour and it was absolutely amazing! We had Christian and Drake as our Tour Guides and they were just wonderful! They made the experience very comforting and so much fun and even told us some interesting facts along the way! And coming from someone who is afraid of heights this experience is definitely worthwhile! We definitely will be coming back again! Thank you again Drake and Christian for making a wonderful experience for my Mom and I!

Coblentz Chocolate Company is a family-owned business that offers a delectable selection of hand-dipped gourmet truffles, candies, treats, and gifts. Visitors can enjoy watching the confection-making process at the viewing gallery. Additionally, they cater to those with dietary restrictions by providing sugar-free chocolates. Customers have praised the quality and variety of their offerings, including chocolate-covered pretzels and sea-salted caramel squares.
I have a major crush on chocolate, good chocolate! Coblentz rivals my experience and expectations of a Swiss chocolate journey. As you open the door, so many options overwhelm your mind, and all are wonderful, just your health limits your enjoyment. Packaged options are all over the store, 4oz, 8oz, ,--4 lbs... yes please! Nuts, beans, pretzels, rice crispy treats, you name it, they may have it. Not into covered items, no worries, meltaways are pure chocolate treats, milk and dark chocolates with silky textures that are Mouth watering good. Did I mention shoes, yes, chocolate high fashion high heel shoes made from pure milk chocolate, you can watch them being formed via a hallway to the left of the main counter! A pair would set you back over $80, which isn't bad, knowing the time and labor involved in their creation. We bought about 2 lbs of chocolate around $22 per pound. Orange, lemon, raspberry, blueberry, milk and dark chocolates, and don't miss the free samples, yes Virginia there is a Santa Clause! Store was well lit, ample free parking, friendly staff, and selection was various. Highly recommended for the chocolate fiend in you!

This is hands down the best Chocolate Store in The USA! The salted caramels and English toffee were in incredible! The generous sample portions were huge! Fabulous coffee. Great selection of candy also! The staff was very nice and incredible! I know Google only allows 5 stars, but I have to give Coblentz Chocolate Company 10 Stars across the board! You truly are #1 in The USA!!! My only recommendation would be, to use a gold foil sticker with your company name on it, to seal the boxes of chocolate your employees hand to your customers at the counter. It also is a great way to finish off a custom gift box of chocolate to a friend or family. Just a suggestion, I still give your beautiful shop and delicious chocolate 10 Stars! :-)

It's a very fancy place and very, very expensive compared to other Amish candy/chocolate places that charge half of the price for the same kind of items. Great variety, though. But, not everybody can afford it.
Mayrita T — Google review
We were in the area on a short vacation and stopped by and really liked it. We had never had Coblentz chocolate, and everything we tasted was excellent. Prices were reasonable for a chocolate place like this and the selection was much, much more than we expected. There was also an area to watch some of the treats being made, and all the staff we interacted with were professional and polite. Hope to be back someday!
Tom D — Google review
My visit to Coblentz was overwhelming in the best way. I had to take a few laps around the store before I could decide what to buy. There are SO MANY options. The man at the counter was very patient and kind as he explained every flavor and gave suggestions. There were also samples to try that are absolutely delicious. They were pricier than I had expected, but the candy was amazing and worth every penny. There is even a viewing area where you can watch them make the candy. My only complaint would be that the store filled up quickly, and it was a bit uncomfortable having to shuffle past so many people to go back and forth to look at the options and order. I think they could benefit from a wider walkway in front of the display case. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely go again if I'm ever in the area. I bought wrapped chocolates for teacher appreciation, and the teacher loved it so much that she asked where I purchased from so she could place her own order!
Chyane J — Google review
We did the chocolate tasting event last night, and it was amazing. We got to make our own candy bars, caramel apples and caramel corn. They had so many samples to try, and the chocolates are delicious. Check out this yearly event. It is well worth the money. Would also highly recommend this to be a stop if you are driving through Amish country.

Coblentz Chocolate Company offers some of the finest chocolates you can find. Located in Walnut Creek on SR 515 just off of SR 39 across from the Wallhouse Hotel and the Marathon station on the corner. Walnut Creek Cheese & Market is a must-visit destination for those seeking delicious Amish food and food gifts. The expansive market offers a deli with sliced-to-order meats, a special recipe meat shop, locally grown fruits and vegetables, a bakery with made-from-scratch goods, and an on-site cannery featuring jams, jellies, sauces, and more.
Walnut Creek Cheese & Market was high on our list during our Ohio Amish Country tour. Originally, we were supposed to be in Key West, but Hurricane Milton forced us to change our plans. Determined to make the most of it, we decided to explore Ohio instead, and Walnut Creek Cheese was a must-see for us since we’ve been buying their products from Wayne’s Country Fresh Meats in Keyser, WV, for years. It did not disappoint! The smell as you walk in is inviting and lets you know you’re in for something good. We highly recommend trying their upstairs restaurant—we made it our lunch stop, and the food was served hot, quick, and delicious. Definitely a great choice if you're visiting Amish Country!

Imagine shipping $700 worth of meat sticks ( i sell them at work), 2 of the 2lb bags arrived with mold on them. 4 more unopened bags had mold a couple weeks later. I emailed them these pics and they refused to reimburse me. What do yall think, a good product? Sure when it's not moldy. Customer service? Abysmal.

Always fun to stop here and grab a few things. It was really crowded which makes it somewhat difficult to walk around and take your time looking at things. The bakery and deli selections are amazing here. You never know what kind of deals you will find here.

My husband and I stopped in the Walnut Creek Cheese & Market for ice-cream and coffee! They gave us about three times more ice-cream than expected for less than $3 and let us have our coffees for free since it was later in the day! Although super busy the store seemed to have so much to offer. I only wish we had more time to explore.

This place is huge! It is busy and has lots of visitors. It is right off of a main road and it makes it very accessible. There is so much food (cheese, produce, baked goods, ice cream)! Come hungry! There is also a large section for cards, gifts, shopping and jams you can buy.

Working farm that's also home to hundreds of exotic animals, plus a produce stand & gift shop.
Our family decided to spend a day at The Farm At Walnut Creek, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable adventures we’ve ever had. From the very first moments, you feel like you’ve stepped into another world – rolling green fields, peaceful scenery, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and truly enjoy the experience. 🚗 The drive-through safari was absolutely magical. As soon as we rolled the windows down, curious animals started to approach us, each one eager for a little snack. We were able to feed zebras, llamas, deer, and even a giraffe – an unforgettable experience for both kids and adults. The animals are gentle and friendly, which made every encounter exciting yet calm and safe. 🌿 After the safari drive, we explored the walking part of the farm. It was wonderful to see a variety of animals up close, take our time, and really enjoy the natural surroundings. The staff were kind, helpful, and clearly care deeply about the animals, which made the visit even more enjoyable. For families, couples, or anyone who wants to step away from the rush of daily life, The Farm At Walnut Creek is the perfect escape. We came home with smiles, incredible photos, and beautiful memories. This is not just a zoo or a farm – it’s an experience that leaves you feeling connected to nature and full of joy. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🌟

Awesome day today at Walnut Creek with the family. We didn’t know what to expect when we showed up and thought it was going to be a normal petting zoo. However, it was way more than that. We chose the self guiding tour, which was $15 per adult, and $12 per senior. They have feed you can purchase for $3 a bucket. Bring cash because that’s all they accept. They have an option where you can do a tour on a horse and buggy cart, similar to what you’d see at a pumpkin patch. If we come back that’s what I’d do, so you can interact more with the animals. The self guiding car tour was a lot of fun though so I wasn’t disappointed. The animals literally come up to your car and will eat out of your hands.

Very cool place to see some cool animals. Some were much more demanding than others (like the llama that came running for my car) but it was chaotic fun nonetheless. Definitely requires a good and careful driver to navigate the roadways and animals. Overall the experience comes recommended from me! Hoping to catch a wagon ride if I visit again.
Anna K — Google review
This place was awesome! Well worth the money! If you drive through, your car might get scratched though. No big deal though, just take a wagon instead! Either way, so much fun! The kids loved it! The photos say it all!!!

The Farm at Walnut Creek – Trying to find something to do? Well go ahead and ditch the daily grind and embark on an unforgettable adventure to The Farm at Walnut Creek located at in Sugarcreek, OH. I got to experience this farm when I was up in Ohio for a family visit and let me tell you, this place has over 500 animals from six continents, right in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. Owned by a North Carolina resident renowned expert in the transportation and care of exotic animals, ran by the Amish and they don’t skip a beat. Forget boring car rides; here, you can choose your adventure: a thrilling drive-thru experience from the comfort of your own vehicle, or for the ultimate immersion, hop aboard a charming horse-drawn wagon ride, me and the family chose the wagon ride of course. Prepare for giggles due to the banter, the knowledgeable and incredibly interactive staff will be your guides, sharing fascinating facts and engaging stories that bring each animal encounter to life, making the experience even more enriching and entertaining for the whole family. IT was a blast, and we were all surprised and in awe as you come face-to-face with exotic creatures like towering giraffes, striped zebras, alongside familiar friends such as horses, fluffy llamas, powerful buffaloes, and graceful deer. The best part? You'll have the incredible opportunity to hand-feed many of these amazing animals, creating memories that will last a lifetime. IF you need something fun and exciting to get out the house make the drive and support a local farm

We have been to Amish Country many times but we had never been to The Farm At Walnut Creek! We will definitely return again and again! We drove our vehicle through because we were new to the experience! The next time we will ride on the wagon and feed the animals. I absolutely loved being right there with the animals. I got so excited with each new animal that came to our vehicle!! I can’t wait until the next time we visit the area so we can return to The Farm At Walnut Creek!!

I have been going here since I was a child to watch my family race. I always have a blast when I come. The merch is great. There are many places to get it. The $1 pints are now $3 pints for ice cream and they’re pre packaged to save on the line. (IYKYK) Some things to consider, service is bad especially on major event days. Parking can be very far away so save some time to get to your seats. I used to see different swap meets on the track during different events as well. The most recent I went was last weekend for a Nationals race. Make sure to keep your ticket once you enter, you will need it to enter the stands. This is an incredible experience for all ages. HAVE FUN!!!

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the history and artistry behind the pieces. You can ask them anything and they always have something interesting to share. The displays are beautifully organized and thoughtfully arranged — everything feels curated with care. The colors, the craftsmanship, the way each room is laid out… it’s honestly brilliant. I always end up spending more time than I planned just taking everything in. Beautiful oak cases filled with the historic depression glass. Heisey was beautifully crafted, blown glass, with etching, and very elegant. From the 1890s to 1957, Heisey produced glass settings. Go if you can! There are even some pieces for sale, and reasonable admission! An added bonus? The King House, which is adjacent and connected to the museum.

Spent more than two hours in here learning about the history of this company and its products and looking at the thousands of samples they have on display. It is clearly a labor of love. We had never heard of this company but now have an appreciation for what they did and the amazing artistry it took to create the glass pieces. The museum itself is well organized, clean, maintained, and easy to navigate. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

The Heisey Glass Museum is a very beautiful piece of history. The glass is timeless. I am new to glass collecting myself, but am happy to now have a membership to appreciate this glass for many years to come.

Cherry Valley Hotel

Sophisticated hotel with a restaurant, as well as conference space & an indoor pool.
Quite simply the best hotel experience I have ever had. The room was clean and spacious. The room had a couch and our room had a patio which led right out to the parking lot which was awesome. You can prepay for breakfast if you buy directly through the website for $5 a person which I highly recommend as that breakfast is amazing. I had the omelette and eggs in a blanket for the refused breakfast and the buffet over the weekend. Both well worth the money. I recommend this hotel and will be using this hotel again for any events I have in the area in the near future.

So good to see the Cherry Valley back as a general hotel without a water park. The atmosphere when I arrived on a Saturday was buzzing with a conference, a wedding party, and an endless stream of HS teens and their families taking prom pictures. The mood changed on Sunday. Super quiet. That should change. I had hot water issues in my room. Addressing it required a complete shut down of the water system. At least they were addressing it. It was good to see landscape crews working as I left. The grounds used to be immaculate. I hope the new owners will get back to green grass and less weeds. Time to replace the bathtub showers. Good luck, Cherry Valley Hotel. I had great times there from when it opened until 2005 when I moved. Bring it back to five stars.

Just got back from a weekend here. My wife and I were surprised at how beautiful the grounds are, it's really special. The service was excellent, and everybody was so friendly to work with. The layout is a bit tricky if you're trying to get to different areas of the hotel. The food was fantastic, and we though priced fair, although a dedicated coffee station would have been nice. The rooms were excellent with amazing views if you get an inward facing one. Overall, a special place in Ohio for a weekend getaway.

The staff went above and beyond to help my family and I while we were dealing with a situation with another hotel. They embraced us and showed empathy and took time to understand our situation. They were extremely kind, caring and professional. I very much appreciate them for that. Everything was clean, calm, and inviting. Simply one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Although a bit of a distance from town, the staff made the extra travel worth. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thankful for my experience.

How lucky we found this place! So many times we've visited Granville and stayed at the Granville Inn. But that place has become outrageously expensive. So we tried this place and it's so much nicer and half the price! It's huge, very charming, nicely done. There are numerous conference rooms of various sizes from small to huge. Well staffed, friendly, and clean. This will be our go-to hotel destination whenever we're back in town.

The staff, location, amenities, chefs, ambiance allowed for a “perfect” June wedding! Eric Lane, our Manager, provided low cost options to keep expenses reasonable. He was very helpful with every decision ( room setup, timing, food choices, room availability for guests staying there, photo opportunities, etc). Eric is warm, sincere, and pressure free. His thoughtful planning significantly dropped the stress level of planning such an event. Rain or shine, all guests would be comfortable. Eric was there on our Saturday ( his day off) to ensure every need was met, and all would go smoothly…which it did. The catering staff was personally engaging, encouraging, polite, making us feel like family. The Courtyard provided a stunningly gorgeous backdrop for photos. Our guests raved about the food at the Reception, quantity and succulent taste. Our sincerest appreciation for allowing our special day to be ‘perfect’! John and Colleen Kerns

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I booked a last minute getaway and it was only a little over $100! It was serene, quiet, warm, inviting and the modern touch was a great surprise. The bed is very comfortable and the huge bath tub was awesome!

Staying in town for work, great experience at this hotel. Most rooms have a balcony. Amenities with the courtyard and pool, exercise room. Clean room and bed, not to mention it spacious. Looks recently updated. The hotel bar has surprisingly good food for the price, Alex is an awesome bartender too!

Just look at the pictures, been coming here for years! I came hoping they would have apples 🍏 🍎 but not yet, but I got some amazing snickerdoodle cookies, 🍪 some sweet roasted almonds & pecans🥜(you have to go try if you like these) the best! I got some 🍑 (Georgia) they were so good. The bake barbecue chips were good. Everything I got was delicious. I am going back when the apples are ready. They have the best big 🍎 🍏 apples! The people 👩👵are very nice. Go out to the country side & experience it.💖

I have been here numerous times. They carry many ohio made specialties. Meats, cheeses, maple syrup, pastries, and local produce. They are usually closed Dec-Feb. Otherwise, they have various hours depending on the season. They grow over 25 different types of apples. You can pick your own or a bag that is ready to go. They have samples of the apples so you can taste them before buying. During weekends it can be quite busy. There is a large parking lot with dedicated handicapped spots. The staff is very helpful and polite.

First time coming here to their sunflower field and it was beautiful! We also checked out their market and they had some good produce. Can’t wait to come back during the fall to pick apples and to check out their pumpkins!
Luciana P — Google review
We came for the sunflowers and bought many products from the farm. It was a nice market and not far from Columbus. Would recommend 😻
Han N — Google review
You can buy the produce at the market or pick your own on the farm. Different times of the year offer different produce. I typically only go in the fall and usually only to the market. You can get a wide variety of apples in the fall with my favorite being Pixie Crunch. In the market they carry many products from other local groups such as breads, pies, cheese, meats, as well as their own jellies, jam, salsa and more. Just outside of the market are other vendors selling items such as popcorn and nuts, and this year there was one selling pizza. I always buy a mum here as they are huge and beautiful and at a really good price. There are activities for kids around the market and across the street is a corn maze. You could definitely make a day out of a visit here. There are bathrooms (portojohns) and a paved parking area. The parking lot fills up quickly on the weekends, but there is plenty of overflow parking available. Credit cards are accepted at the market, but I dont know about the vendors outside or the rest of the farm.

Lynd fruit farm has a fantastic selection of apples 🍎, fruits, jellies, vegetables, flowers and more. Customer service is excellent & knowledgeable. Fantastic place to spend some time and find great food. You can self pick apples and other fruit in season or purchase in their store. Well worth the drive to Pataskala OH. Very family friendly.

The farm offers a fantastic U-Pick Apple experience across vast orchards and features a dedicated Maze Fest area with a corn maze, bounce houses, and a barrel train. The experience is perfect for making family memories. The market is a must-visit for seasonal treats. Patrons rave about the freshly pressed cider and the impressive selection of homemade goods, including popular items like apple butter and the unique 'Traffic Jam' berry blend.

Amazing experience at Rockside today! We had the cauliflower pizza and the large pretzel. They both were so amazing !! We also had the pineapple upside down slushy & the “Oh sure “ IPA and they were absolutely delicious!

Had a very nice time, perfect day to sit outside as they have tons of seating outside and in, if you prefer. Wine was good, had a flight so was able to sample a few , before making a choice to buy a bottle which is definitely nice. Service was good very knowledgeable and nice. Definitely recommend a stop and sip if you’re in the area.

This place is THE BEST!!! We got to celebrate my best friends bachelorette party here and we were so well taken care of. The wine was amazing, the food was amazing, the staff was amazing. Ryan and Taylor took such good care of us and gave us great recommendations!! 11/10 would recommend!

This was my first time at a Winery for a work outing and it was fun. I’m sure the prices are always high but to me that was a negative. High prices and small , however the pizza was very good . I loved the crispy crust. The slushy wine was good and I normally don’t drink. So that was a fun surprise. It was a good time.

We were looking for a good place for wine tasting and luckily they were open on Tuesday. Most others were not open till later in the week. We were welcomed when we entered. The building is clean and comfortable and new looking. The staff is helpful to pick wines. We each got a 4 flight of wine to taste. We shared a nice meat and cheese board. The food was fresh and delicious. The wines we chose we more on the sweet side and were also very good. I highly recommend trying this vineyard. Prices are fair. The environment is comfortable. The restrooms are clean. I will come back.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. First things first- the entire staff is welcoming, kind and knowledgeable which makes the experience all the better. Everything is very clean, organized and simple. Their wine slushies are SO good. They occasionally have food trucks out on the weekends so it’s a great time to grab something different to eat and have a glass of wine (or wine slushy) and relax on the patio! It’s not overly crowded- there’s plenty of space and the views are amazing!

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a sprawling park located about 20 miles north of downtown, showcasing a wide variety of land and sea life. With over 10,000 animals from more than 500 species across six themed areas, visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences like the tide pool and Jack Hanna's Animal Encounters Village. The zoo also offers additional attractions such as the Wilds conservation center, Zoombezi Bay water park for summer fun, and an 18-hole Safari Golf Course.
This was the coolest zoo we've been to. The rides do cost extra but there's so much to do in the zoo that you don't need it. There's so many animals and each exhibit is meticulously planned to provide a nice space for the animal. The zoo flowed well and we really enjoyed the different sections so we knew what to expect for the animals. Great zoo and a great experience.
Rachel B — Google review
The zoo itself was great. Very enjoyable and I loved the amount of space the enclosures had for the animals. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is cuz the food is outrageous. $15 for a cheeseburger, $8 for a hotdogs. It cost us $90 just for food for a small party. Definitely pack your own lunch before your visit.
Laura M — Google review
What a great time going. The last time I was here was when I was a child and how it has grown and changed is incredible. Such a diverse choice of animals from different regions of the world. Great displays touching upon conservation, education, and the impact mankind has on wildlife. Many extras with gift shops, food choices, rides, etc. Highlights were the manatee and hyena displays.
Salt S — Google review
This was our 1st time visiting the Columbus Zoo and we had a GREAT time. It was cold so a lot of animals weren't out (which was expected) but the animals were did see were awesome and their habitats were set up really nice. We will definitely visit again.
Sarah L — Google review
Definitely get there in the morning because you’re going to need A LOT of time! The zoo is massive, we got there while there was still 2 hours to closing and barely saw 25% of it! We greatly enjoyed our time nonetheless! We went on a Friday and it wasn’t crowded, the zoo was very clean and we loved how large the enclosures were for the animals. Will definitely come back if we get the chance and spend all day there!
Lacie C — Google review
Honestly this zoo wasn’t it for us. We’ve been to an array of zoos over the years and found this one just wasn’t what we had hoped for. While it was clean and the layout was simple we found that many animals were off exhibit and many sections of the zoo not accessible for different events . Our favorite part however was the polar bear exhibit. It was fantastic and the animals are truly spectacular. Our least favorite is paying for parking and general admission costs, we found it to be much higher than other zoos we’ve traveled too and found that since the lack of animals on display + cost had us uninterested in returning for another visit.
Heather J — Google review
This is my absolute favorite zoo so far. The wildlife is well taken care of. The aquarium is clean, beautiful, large, it's equally very amazing. The aquatic life is extremely happy. It seems all these animals have great space to be as close to real life as they can get in safety. I love Africa to see everything's so large. The restrooms are spotless. The employees are very kind and helpful. I can't say enough good about my experiences here. It's above in comparison to others I've been to in my surrounding areas. The gorillas have an amazing habitat as well as many other animals habitats there. I spend the night at a hotel so I can enjoy the entire zoo and take my time. I love the reptile building also. I can go on..

We had an amazing day at the Columbus Zoo. The Red Panda experience was absolutely incredible and 100% worth it. Getting to learn about these adorable animals up close was unforgettable. Tom from the Education Team was especially fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell how much he cares about the animals and making the experience special for guests. Highly recommend this zoo and the animal experiences to anyone visiting Columbus!

Zoombezi Bay is a thrilling water park located next to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, offering a perfect blend of refreshing water attractions and spooky, zombie-themed experiences. In addition to its water rides, Zoombezi Bay also boasts haunted houses and scare zones for horror enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy non-water rides like the Sea Dragon roller coaster as well.
I enjoyed my time there. Kid and adult friendly. Parking only $10 and they have all day rental lockers for an affordable rate. I do recommend wearing water shoes to avoid walking barefoot on high traffic wet areas. It is first come first serve for the tubes at the lazy river but still very enjoyable. They have a “fast pass” option which I thought was nice. Drinks were a little pricey, but they do hand out water cups to make sure everyone is staying hydrated. I thought the burger and fry meal was reasonably priced. You can also bring your own food, get stamped, go out to your car and eat, and come back at no fee. All and all I will definitely go again! Super easy to get to as well!
Darion — Google review
We had a great time. We got there when the park opened and rented a 21+ lounger space on the same day, but they do advise to book in advance online. For reserved padded lounge chairs in the semi private shade, access to the wait staff and a safe large enough to fit a large shoulder bag, we felt that the $100 fee was worth it. Since a large locker is $22 already. And since we also came in from out of town, the day use of towels included with the lounge rental were a nice bonus. The staff running the bar in that area were friendly and helpful. I would also advise to go to the left side of the parking lot when you arrive for close access to the Zoombezi entrance. If you follow the masses, you are going to end up on the zoo side with a considerable walk ahead of you. Take sunscreen. If this is the one thing you forget, the standard 6oz size spray is $30 on site. 30-40oz of heavily tequila laden margaritas is cheaper than 6oz of sunscreen here.

We went on weekend and it was super crowded. They have lots of fun things for kids and plenty of seating area. There’s no shade on rides. They have separate sheds for seating but you have to reserve them and they charge a lot for those “Cabanas”. It’s worth money if you’re someone who doesn’t mind going to overcrowded places.

Cashless isn't always convenient. Especially for a young person working and having cash they can't spend or having to purchase a card to purchase some over priced and mediocre food. Our pizza was overpriced and was terrible. Pool was shut down nobody knew why I don't know just filled on the organized

What an amazing place! Came by on a warm and sunny day and were blown away by how gorgeous the grounds are. We saw staff working on stuff everywhere. As someone who has a hard time walking distances, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered an electrical scooter at no charge to help get around. The place is very large and clearly marked for what plants are where and also how to avoid staircases. Volunteers were very evident and were obviously happy to be there. Wonderful place to spend time.

I had such a wonderful visit to the Franklin Park Conservatory! The different biomes were fascinating and made the experience both serene and educational. The bonsai exhibit was absolutely immaculate, and I was pleasantly surprised by how impressive the architecture itself was as part of the attraction. I felt the price was about $5 to high. However, we booked for 5:30 entry and it was still daylight and have to have the children home at a certain time so they didn’t get to see the cool stuff come to life til we left. I understand it’s a wedding venue as I got married there at Christmas time. So we missed out on seeing the Palm house. Not spooky at all. Great for kids of all ages. Just wish the prices were lower so even the kids that come from low income families could enjoy it too.

I have visited north market to get some dinner when I was in Columbus. I went there twice actually. They have a variety of food options to consider including Jeni’s ice cream! I got some pizza and some ice cream during one visit and enjoyed the food! Specifically the ice cream! On my next visit, I got food from Hoyo’s and it was very tasty too! There is an eating area one floor above with lots of chairs and tables. It closes at 7 PM (when I went there in August), so I had to check the timing a little carefully. It was easily accessible from my hotel by walk.

What a fantastic place! So much good food! A lovely jewelry vendor, flowers, oils, cheese! Was our first time visiting and we will be back. Nice and close parking garage. Be sure to get your receipt for parking garage from the vendor you buy from. This is good for one hour of parking. Highly recommend North Market for a bite to eat and some local shopping.

If I could leave a higher rating i definitely would. I went there with my boyfriend for the first time and my eyes immediately lit up! The food looked absolutely amazing, the pricing was way better than I had expected. The wait time for the food wasn’t nearly as long as I had anticipated. I will definitely be going back as many times as I’m able! I recommend the Birria tacos, 3 tacos for $14! As a bonus you are able to sit and overlook the whole place!

First time here; quaint little place downtown. Great for new finds of food, coffees, oils / spices, desserts. Has a variety of cuisines, there is something for everyone. Seating indoor and outdoor, perfect for a lazy weekend or to meet with friends. Parking validation offered from one of the vendors I purchased from but didn’t accept when leaving garage. This would be the only downside - which could have been a fluke. Can’t wait to go back!

Great foodie fun stop. Shocker on this visit was the Philly Cheese Steak and Buckeye Crepe plus strawberry. The barbecue and dumplings were solid runners up. If you're bargain hunting get some fresh fries at the cheese steak shop and a slice of pizza. - otherwise prepare to spend $15-$20 Puerto item. The good is grood, but the swipes add up quickly. If you're patient you can find street parking within a block or two for cheap vs garage parking at special event prices.

There are many exhibits to explore. The dinosaur & shark exhibits were great to see, as they had life size models on display & it was very informative. The Ocean exhibit was fun because you can go into a real submarine & there is an interactive water room. One of the best things about the museum is how many hands on things there are to do. It's definitely a great place for all ages.

Pixar was worth it for us. Our kids from 8-16 had a blast getting drawn into the animation process for at least 90 minutes then spent another couple of hours exploring, playing and creating. The older kids had been to Cosi before but had a genuinely good time taking it all in again, they also thoroughly enjoyed shocking each other in the energy section. Even some of the discovery and play areas were surprisingly fun and interesting.

Coming from out of town, looking to kill some time, it did not disappoint!Cool science center. There were tons of day camp kids running wild, but that can be expected on a weekday morning in the summer. Very cool hands on stuff for kids. The natural history exhibits were cool, along with the Town of Progress exhibit. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Columbus area.

I don’t see many reviews talking about amazing the little kids area upstairs is! 1st grade and under I believe was the age range. My kiddos will spend hours just in that area alone. Dramatic play , water play, art room, wooden train /soft play, and play construction vehicles . Find on street parking for a cheaper rate than the garage.

Wow! Just a beautiful place to take the family. The exhibits are amazing. Every time we go the Dinosaur exhibit just keeps on expanding. Just truly an amazing place and I myself learn so much. Highly recommend going especially when they change out the featured exhibits.

This place is so worth it. For only $30 bucks we got over 3 hours of fun and useful information about the world we live in. We visited the planetarium twice for two films that were incredible and at no extra charge. You definitely can make a whole days worth out of this museum. I also enjoyed that it’s not only child oriented but also includes stuff for adults to do. Also don’t forget to check out the shows they do during the day. We got to see rats play basketball! My one and only complaint about this place is I wish there were more cool shirts in the gift shop for adults! (All the cool ones are for the kids)

I finally made it here after knowing about it for more than 20 years and it was totally worth it. I teared up a little when I first walked i to the dinosaur room. Seriously so amazing to see. And I was in awe of the beauty in the Poseidon room. I think that might have been my favorite. An incredible experience for sure. Absolutely worth a visit!

Beautiful park with great trails to walk. Very well maintained. Restrooms and plenty of parking are available.

Love this place. I come here a few times a week to paddle board. On the smaller side, but very clean. We always see turtles, birds, and fish. The rangers are very involved and seem like they truly care about your safety.

This park has the best rangers! Very east to talk with and ask questions. Taking the kids to this park now for over 20 yard and seeing it grow into such a beautiful reserve for our community. There are events all the time to check out for all ages. There is a lot of construction going on.

Beautiful park - but the experience is ruined by all the off leash untrained dogs that will harass you while walking. And of course the dog poop thoughout the trails. At least I hope it's dog poop hard telling this close to Columbus.

Amazing park! The trails are easy to follow, and you can really customize how far or long you want to walk. Great for dogs. Awesome sunset views! It's definitely worth the trip. I find it best to park by the dog park area instead of the main, but that's just personal preference.

Beautiful trails with lots of things to see! Perfect place to go for a walk, run or jog and even bring the dog.

Great dog-friendly trails 👍. Be mindful of the trails marked for no pets and pedestrians as those are for horses 🐴.

Nice park. There's a great dog beach where dogs can swim without a leash. There are plenty of walking trails and fun equipment for kids. Fishing seems to be popular. Trying to find the dog beach, fishing or anywhere else, however, is a struggle since there is poor signage. If there is more than one entrance to the park that do not join the other parcels, there should be large signs on the main roads directing traffic to each entrance and available activities. The State Parks do a great job with their signage. Their's are easy to navigate. And we can't always rely on cell service for directions or the park paper map. There are so many things that Prairie Oaks has to offer. Don't let us miss any of it, because we can't find it.
