My almost adult children enjoyed only two go-kart rides before wanting to leave. The very tall gentleman at the counter was very pleasant. I'm happy we stopped by. He chatted about where we to visit while at Panama Beach --- Thank you!!!

The pavilion that was recently built was awesome for parties. Our hostess ,Kennedy was great. She made the party flow seamlessly . She was really great with kids. Very happy with our experience . Love all the updates being done! Kids can't wait to go back!

My husband and I came for a quick, fun outing — just the two of us — and had a blast being big kids for a while. For only $20, we got one round of bumper boats, mini golf, go-karts, and 20 arcade tokens. We also paid an extra $8 for five batting cage tokens, with each one giving 20 pitches. Overall, it was a fun little spot to pop in and enjoy some lighthearted competition. Just a heads-up, bring bug spray! The bugs were no joke. 😩 Only downside was the arcade. The games went by really fast and barely gave out any tickets, which made that part feel a little underwhelming. Still, for the price? Totally worth it. We’d definitely go again, and next time, we’ll probably bring the kids along too.

My wife and I stopped here today after lunch and played a round of mini golf. It was a lot of fun for $20. The course is laid out nicely. Some shade to sit in if you had a wait between holes. Cool scenery to check out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had our son’s birthday party at Adventureland yesterday, and it was absolutely wonderful! It was such a relief to only have to show up with the cake because everything else was taken care of. The new outdoor pavilions are SO nice!! Chloe was our party host and she did an amazing job. We had 7 rowdy boys and she remained cool calm and collected and had fun with them! Brooke stayed in touch from the time I booked until the day of the party and made sure every detail was perfect. When we had a little technical trouble on our end with payment, Fran was so helpful in getting it figured out. Every single person we interacted with was kind, respectful, and professional. I definitely recommend Adventureland for hosting a party or just spending time playing the park. It is so much fun! 🎉

Adventureland Theme Park in Dothan is a great spot for families, just a street off the main strip with lots of parking and plenty to do. We enjoyed the arcade and bumper boats, and there’s even more to explore like mini golf, batting cages, bumper cars, and more. We’d rate our experience 4 out of 5 stars. The pricing is fair, with a variety of daily deals that make it easy to enjoy on a budget. Most of the arcade games are claw or coin fall machines, which are perfect for older kids, though there’s a bit less available for younger ones. One thing that could be improved: Everything is loaded onto a game card, which wasn’t clearly explained. It was easy enough to figure out, but a quick heads-up from staff would really help new guests avoid confusion. Staff were generally friendly, but they tended to gather and chat in one area, which led to a few guests waiting for assistance. A simple pause in conversation to help guests would really elevate the customer experience. Also, a posted map of the park near the entrance or counter would be a great addition to help visitors navigate without having to ask lots of questions. All in all, it’s a fun and affordable place to spend the day, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Can say enough. Literally the easiest party I’ve ever thrown and my oldest is 18. The host stays with you from beginning to end to help with the kids that was a life saver .. they cleaned up the room while we played golf and just had to come in and collect our items. So much fun

We spent the weekend it is very nice secluded camp, the staff could not have been nicer. I have stayed at many campgrounds and this one is one of the best. They have a very nice going for, nice outdoor area, and the camper/RV sites are well done, good power, good water and sewer. It is not a big party camp and the crowd was much more quiet and Saturday night potluck was a joy. We will definitely be going back again.

I have been camping for years, and i have been to many camp grounds, but this one really set it's self above everyone. As soon as I got there The owners made me feel very welcome. Gregg made sure I had a really good spot to set up my tent. After I got all settled in, I walked up the club house and was introduced to some of the other campers. No one was rude, or made me feel like i was a outsider. Everyone at the camp group visitor and owners alike made me feel like for the first time in my life I could be myself and have fun. The weather was wonderful as well, even though the first day was rainy it was still very pleasant and the rain helped you sleep well. The sun and the breezes made beginning and the pool just the place to go. If you didn't want to be by the pool you could sit ob the deck and just chill out. I opted for beginning pool side and had a great time even though i got myself sun burned. NO amount of spf can help if you sit out in the sun to long. The pool its self was great. I had never been in salt water pool and I loved it. It was just cool enough to help against the heat but warm enough to enjoy it anytime day or night. The location was awesome, i need to get some things from the little of Columbia AL near buy and it was very nice . The people and shop owners were all very friendly. They told me about different things in the area and where honestly nice. I couldn't find a fake smile from a single one. I even heard a couple of good jokes from one of the ladies from the gas station i visited . It isn't far from the Florida state line and only a couple of hours from Panama city and the beach which was great fun even in the off time i was there. I got a couple of eye sore shirts and enjoyed the beach to some degree. But there was a couple of a draw backs to my time there. One my cell phone didn't really work at the camp site (Thanks t-mobile I will be dropping you as soon as I can!). The supervisor cats really didn't seem to like dog guest the much. (even thought I loved petting every one of them.) But over all I loved this camp ground and i am working on my next trip to go down as soon as i can.

A very nice little place to visit. Greg and Les are always willing to show their hospitality and insure that your stay is a wonderful experience. Very nice pool, Great hospitality, and fun fellowship, what more can you ask for? 5 STARS!

Lizard Landing is ran by despicable people. They are usually drunk by 9 am. They are so greedy for money, they think the campers are ignorant and do not know how to read the electric meters. Double charged for electricity month one. The next month, was gone for 1/2 the month, the electric bill was more than the prior month. Even with photos of the meter, the low life's tried to argue. They have no morals. Go through the mail, delivered the packages they wanted too. Kept the ones they did not. Sickening scum. Should be called carp landing campground.

The guys here are the best . we are members at other campgrounds like this and this one is the best in our opinion. Everyone is very friendly including the regulars . they went out of their way to help us in a time of need running from hurricane Irma. . I highly recommend this place to anyone in the community . we will definitely be back multiple times .. Thank you Guys for everything you did !!!!!

Like a home away from home. Greg and Dan are very welcoming and kind. The camp and pool are clean, private, beautiful, and not to mention you're treated with utmost respect. Surely will return!

Enjoyed a peaceful winter morning walking around the property. While some of the exhibits like the general store were closed, enough was open and of interest to make it well worth the $5 admission. I could see packing a lunch and spending a full day when the weather is nicer.

Absolutely loved my time here at Landmark Park with my wife and nieces! It was a little hot, but the boardwalk had plenty of shade and break spots (but watch your head for spiders!). Service in the "drug store" was fantastic and the ice cream was even better. Highly recommend for a families or couples wanting to see some nature and old homestead equipment!

I really enjoy coming to this park, it is incredibly well maintained and in the past couple years they have really built it up and expanded it. And it seems like some of the staff has been here for years and they are absolutely wonderful. I've been to many of the old houses they have here several times, but I still like to go inside and take a look. Even though nothing changes with them. They have a little general store there with old-timey fountain, sodas and floats with ice cream. The general store also has this very strong ginger ale that is just so wonderful to drink and if you are a fan of ginger ale then you should give this stuff a shot. Today they had a bluegrass and BBQ festival and it was really great. I had a good time listening to the bluegrass music, however, I think next time it would be great if they could get a real barbecue company to come in and do some local barbecue like Smokey Joe's. I think the barbecue they had may have been store-bought but I do not know that 100%. That's just what it tasted like. It was still fine though. There are some bees if you're exiting towards Hartford highway, however, the bees here just seem to be a little bit more aggressive than what I'm used to working with, I seem to always get stung at several times, even just viewing from 15 or 20 ft. Entry to this place is only $7 and there is so much to do, it is definitely worth the visit by yourself or with a family.

Shame on the management of this facility for allowing such mistreatment of the animals living here. Something needs to be done immediately about the living conditions of these poor animals. How can you host showings of snakes when one of them just passed away from your neglect? How can you host field trips from local schools to this facility when the animals they come to visit are living in such disgusting conditions? Most of these animal’s enclosures are accumulating layers of feces and urine. Most of the chickens, a donkey, & a snake has passed away due to your negligence! For these helpless animals to be forced to live this is way is abuse.

Love love love this place. My kids bought so many gem stones and rocks. They pack it with a little card that gives a description. Our fav thing to do is the planetarium. The trail on the bridge is so much fun as well

A great park that meshes nature and the sicience and history of farming with educational opportunities. There is an excellent event barn and plenty of space for fairs.

An amazing interactive piece of history. Be transported to another era and get a feel for a way of life very far removed from our modern world. Fun for the whole family as well as educational.

Absolutely beautiful gardens to explore. Some areas would be full sun, other areas are shaded by trees. The pathways are paved for accessibility. There is a small play area for children. I love the lock gate - I wished we had known about that before arriving because I totally would have added one for us. We did get caught in the rain, but we waited out the worst of it in a little gazebo near the wedding garden. The butterfly garden was closed due to the weather, but there was plenty to see even missing that. Restrooms were clean. Admission price is very reasonable.

Wonderful and cozy garden in Southern Alabama. It also has a butterfly greenhouse where you can walk around with a sugar stick for them to land on. A big variety of plants and birds. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

We had a great time at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens, especially during the Scarecrows in the Gardens exhibition. The scarecrows were creative and fun to find—our kids loved spotting their favorites along the paths. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and very family-friendly. There's a dedicated children’s area, wide open paths, and plenty of space to explore without feeling crowded. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the day. It’s a perfect spot for a calm, outdoor family outing—especially during seasonal events like this one!

It was a little buggy but I didn't put anything on because I didn't want to deter the butterflies! Beautiful gardens and a bunch of beautiful seating areas perfect for pictures!! Also has a playground for your littles 😊 $5 admission, $3 extra for the butterfly house.

We needed a small excursion and found this gem. The price was perfect and so was the venue. We can see the garden is a work in progress so come open minded. Wings of wonder was lovely!

this garden is a great place to spend an afternoon! i spent the extra $3 to go to the butterfly garden and it was well worth it!! i spent quite a while in there admiring and holding the butterflies. the gardens are beautiful as well, definitely not the biggest botanical garden but well worth it, especially for the price.

Our first visit to the wonderful Botanical Gardens and Butterfly experience! It was such nice day just enjoying everything there, and so quiet and very peaceful, without too many people.

We were passing through town on a road trip from Florida to North Alabama. Unfortunately we pulled into this area at 7:00 p.m. and all the shops were closed. There was absolutely nothing we could do so we took this one picture and headed out of town to our hotel. But during the few minutes that we were there we met a gentleman who told us the story of how when he was in high school the students would take turns stealing The boll weevil off of the statue as a prank. 🤣 Kids!

I came for the statue, but stayed for the shops. Beautiful statue of a woman... holding a boll weevil... the statue is in the middle of an intersection, so take care getting photos. Plenty of parking available. Loads of cute shops within walking distance.

It’s cool but it is in the middle of a busy intersection and not really safely accessible. It is pretty cool though and the story behind it is interesting. Nothing to go out of your way to see though.

The town could have erected a statue of George Washington Carver, who developed peanut butter and made the peanut crop profitable after the boll weevil devastated the cotton crop, as stated in the narrative. But instead they built a statue of an insect. Do you think they chose not to erect a statute of George Washington Carver because he was an African American?

This was a neat monument however, being in the middle of intersection made it a little difficult to enjoy closeup. Downtown Enterprise was very nifty! There's an eclectic mix of clothing, restaurants and specialty shops. Including a photography studio, Ballroom Dance class, Shopaholic, Simply South Boutique, You Nique Boutique, Daughter Dear Boutique pOpshelf, Corks & Cattle Restaurant, to man a few! They also have unique year round events!

A unique slice of American History! Whenever I visit someplace new, I always enjoy delving into it's civic history. It was a beautiful day to explore and to understand the Boll Weevil's significance to Enterprise, AL.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have been to this museum twice since 1995 and it’s truly a hidden gem. Located on base, it will require base access, but definitely worth stopping by and seeing the facility and aircraft. A few one off prototypes and even some historical birds present and on display. The R66 Comanche helicopter and super 68 helicopters are located here as well and can be viewed! Again can’t recommend enough and anyone visiting the Gulf Coast who is interested in air power and helicopters should definitely take the time to swing by and see what all is here to offer!

Great enjoyable history here! Came with my 10 year old sister and she loved it as well. Much more stuff than what’s in the pictures and has a very nice gift shop. It’s on base though so make sure you get a visitors pass(free) located at the visitor center near the base entrance

Free to enter with pass for base. Outside area is great for pictures, and so is the inside. Gidtshop and clean facilities. Elevator access makes seeing all parts of the museum possible, I went when I was still on crutches. Probably one of the best things to do in the area, can get kinda busy on Saturdays

This museum has been so special to me since childhood and remains so today. The people at the desk are always friendly, the museum is easy to navigate, and it has such great displays and information. I used to beg my father to bring me every weekend and now as an adult I love to bring my own child.

Incredible exhibits chronicle aircraft and people from the birth of aviation through the present day. Many unique fixed and rotor wing aircraft in interactive and static displays. Many stories of heroes from all wars that Aviation played a role in. Exhibits both indoors and out. Plan for 3 or more hours. Easy access and several restaurants right on base.

From the Wright Brothers to today's drones, this collection has them and everything in between. A very well curated and fascinating look into where Army Aviation has been, where it is now and where it will be tomorrow. There is a well stocked gift shop inside the museum. Definitely worth the visit!

My entire family enjoyed visiting. There was more in the museum than we expected. The kids could get into the cockpits and one large aircraft. Recommend going here to see.

Loved it here! Great and beautiful historical landscape. They have a nice little gift shop and I even went for one of their sunset hikes led by a Park Ranger which was wonderful and super informative! The park ranger was a doll and took gorgeous pictures of my mom and I.

Beautiful park with plenty to do and see! They have a very nice beach area and many trails. Some trails are more difficult than others. Worth the visit and parking pass any day. Make sure to pack an ice cooler if you’re going during Georgia spring/summer so you have cool drinks. *The metal grate bridge near lake Yohola has a large wasp nest! Do not hang out on the bridge or they may sting.

We had a fantastic weekend camping at here.The natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere were truly refreshing. The campsite was well-maintained, and the facilities were clean. We enjoyed hiking the trails and had a great time by the campfire in the evenings. Waking up to the serene view of the lake was a treat for the eyes and soul. The campsite feels little congested should be more spacious. Restroom was clean and well maintained. Activities include swimming, kayaking, Paddle boating and nice trails.

A quiet peaceful place to take a walk. I barely saw any other people here. I would have stayed longer but the gnats were out in full force.

really great park rangers are informative. the grounds are kept up well, so you can walk right up to the mounds. the White Trail was closed due to some construction, so there were two available trails. according to the map we got, there also seemed to be a disc golf course but we could not find it at all. overall, it was a very informative and fun time.

This was a new pit stop on our road trip to St George Island, FL. What an interesting experience. I had the daily special of brisket with 2 sides. Great flavor but a little over cooked. My husband had the cheeseburger which also had great flavor but cooked well done versus an ordered medium. The general store had some great products for sell. Great atmosphere and if you have time, a good stop with kids to walk and see some barnyard animals. Because I believe in what they are doing by farming radically different we will be back for a second chance.

I stayed at White Oak Pastures for a week long educational program and had the most wonderful experience. I felt right at home in the farmhouse we stayed in (The Pin Oak House) which was a short walk to the general store. It was beautifully decorated with pieces of history woven into the design. Not to mentioned, pristinely clean. The food at the general store is delicious. The staff are hardworking, genuine, and make you feel welcome. I’m beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to learn about a agriculture business model and community that has inspired me to contribute to a resilient food system. I would recommend anyone to visit this incredible place.

Visited WOP this weekend which included a stay in one of its cabins. The cabin was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I ate dinner Friday in the restaurant upon my arrival around 7 pm. I ordered the small Farm Fresh Salad. The steak on it was tender and seasoned perfectly. I slacked around in the comfy bed Saturday morning so I didn’t have time to eat before the $15 11 AM Saturday tour. Jodi was an excellent guide and super kind. Will for sure return and stay on site again! I support the Georgia Farm Bureau and travel as part of the GFB Passport program. It’s a great way to get out a visit the beautiful state of Georgia.

A great place way out in the country. If you're able to stop by and have one of their pastured hamburgers, I highly recommend it! There are lots of prepared on site meats, as well as candles and lotions and items made out of leather. An absolutely charming place to visit. Bring a cooler when you come to visit because you're going to want to take some things home.

Stopped here on the way home from PCB. The cutest place. The food was delicious - got a burger, fries, salad, boiled peanuts, and ice cream. Service was incredible. So much for kids to do - basketball, jumpy thing, games, scooter, farm animals. A perfect stop for a family with kids to spend an hour or two.

I placed an order worth $200, and the package never arrived—it was marked as delivered during a late-night FedEx shift, but we never received it. I believe it was stolen. I reached out immediately and opened a case with FedEx, expecting the company to take responsibility and either replace the order or issue a refund. Not only did they refuse to do either, but I also had to contact them multiple times just to get a response. When they finally replied, it was just a generic copy-and-paste email offering no real solution or accountability. This whole situation could have been avoided if they had scheduled daytime delivery. We were loyal customers—three people in my household—but after this experience, we will never order again. Terrible customer service, no purchase protection, and zero empathy. Order from them at your own risk.

Went for lunch and my daughter was excited for the pony rides. There's no sign saying the pony rides close before the restraunt and general store. We finished for lunch and we missed the pony ride by 5 minutes. Staff was extremely rude. My Italian pasta salad was just boiled noodles and steamed broccoli with no seasoning or sauce. Half the stuff in the general store was not even priced. I got to the register with 2 bracelets for my toddler and dog treats, they said the bracelets were actually cash only even though there was no sign stating so. So again my 3 year was let down because I only had card and she didnt get to ride the pony she watched all lunch waiting to ride. Will not be returning after the experience we had.

* Please read to the end * The park is absolutely gorgeous. The springs are pristine, the fishing pond is gorgeous, there's no litter anywhere. Terrific playground for kids. We felt very safe here. All of this is why I give 5 stars. The downside - ▪️ The bathrooms are pretty gross. Especially the one at the playground by the springs. *see the last picture. I would not let my kids go in there. It gave me the creeps & looked like a dank prison shower. If we used the restroom closer to the campgrounds, we took Clorox wipes to wipe the seats off with. The entire weekend we were there, the same trash was in the floors. It did not ever give the look of being cleaned in any way. ▪️ Pull through camper site #6 - prepare to jack your camper up big time to get level. Also prepare to be confused on where exactly you should pull through at because these sites are barely marked. There's no gravel or sand to make you think you should pull in a certain spot. It is grass only. To get level we actually had to pull in the 🔻do not enter 🔻direction & face our camper door towards the cabins instead of the woods. ▪️If we return here for recreation, I will likely look for a Hipcamp location to camp at & enjoy the springs as a "guest" not as a camper.

This beautiful park is very small but enjoyable. There are two swimming pools that are from the natural springs. The campground is beautiful and very clean. The river that the spring empties into is beautiful also. The family can also play in the creek. There is a two mile trail you can hike but it has some steep hills if you have walking issues. The people working there are very nice and helpful. Overall this is a small park but lovely.

Everything was amazing. I would recommend you make sure you like COLD water. I am from Minnesota and it was too cold for me even. Not much else to do besides trails and stuff which are incredible. Had one issue with our water spigot and I called and no one has called me back and theres no after hour lines from when it happened. The staff are friendly and everything is very clean and decent compared to other places I've seen.

Absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away but don't really care to do anything but rest. This is the place. The natural spring swimming hole is cold but refreshing and that park is simple and quiet.

Such a friendly staff. No issues reserving a spot. Camping areas and amenities were nice. But the best part are the crystal clear showing pools.

They keep this park very clean for the amount of people using it. The cool water is great for hot summer days. This is an awesome place to bring young or older children, the young ones can play in the shallower water or in the creek run off and the older kids can swim in the deep end and explore the creek. There is also a connecting tunnel from the deep side to the shallow side that the kids love to play in and slide through. There is a volleyball court and a playground but I would say use them more in the morning or evening bc they tend to be hot in the summer. There are table for public use and barbecue grills. There is decent shade but it gets taken fairly quickly on a busy day. Happy swimming and thank you for having us.

I recently visited the Superior Pecan & Gifts Store at 117 E Broad St, in Eufaula, AL. It's a great store that offers a broad selection of gifts of many types and a variety of jarred items. They also offer an area for the purchase of coffees. It's a great place for a gift or enjoy a coffee. I didn't make a purchase this day.

Great gift shop for local, Southern goods, and the ice cream/coffee shop, Largemouth Coffee Co., is right inside, too. They have a huge selection of pecans and peanuts with packages of different sizes. They also have things like cheese straws, freeze dried candy, sauces, dip mixes, utensils, little knick knacks that make good gifts, etc I think their stuff is a bit expensive though.

We discovered this place while searching for the Leroy Brown Memorial. We went in for coffee and ended up also getting ice cream, and spending over an hour! They have seating inside, and while seated, we met a new friend as well who said he always stopped at this place when passing through the area! The coffee was awesome as was the ice cream. The store is super clean and large and has a great selection of gifts.

I could smell the delicious aroma of the coffee on the street as I looked in the windows at the gifts and treats available to purchase. The friendly staff greeted me as I entered. I ordered a specialty coffee, and they made it fresh by the cup for me from whole coffee beans that they ground just for that cup. The variety of flavors was tremendous. Although most were nut blended, they did have several to choose from that did not have nuts. My guest got a Diet Coke. They also have ice cream! There were lots of food based gifts. Dip and soup mixes, bagged candies, dip mixes, seasonings, jellies, and pickles. And yes, lots of and lots of things made with pecans and other nuts. I bought a coffee mug for a Christmas gift, monogrammed stationary, coffee, and some other small gifts. I can’t wait to return and purchase some of their handmade kitchen linens. The towels and such at varied and the colors, patterns, and textures were a delight! They had candles and oils and children’s books and educational toys. I liked the books for adults about the region. There was even local art work to purchase. I will go back to have another coffee this afternoon.

My husband and I got iced coffees from here. Now, we are not coffee snobs by any means. Most of the time, coffee is coffee to us. However, this coffee?! Wow! It was so good we are still talking about it the next day. We plan on getting another one later this afternoon. And we are also going to buy some coffee beans. Highly recommend their coffee!

So freaking good!!! Looking for ice cream and happened upon this on our trip to PCB. The fancy milkshakes were to die for!! The little store had so many cute things and even some alcoholic drinks. Nice people too!

We were in Eufaula Alabama camping at White Oak Creek Campground. Lucky for me, a history lover, the Eufaula Pilgrimage happened over the weekend. We toured the biggest home in the historic district, the Shorter house. It was interesting and there were ladies and men dressed in period dress. Many of the district homes were open for tours, cost of admit for the tours benefitted the town historic committee I believe.

The Shorter Mansion and Museum is a great treasure in Eufaula. My wife and I had a great time exploring this old home. I am glad this old mansion was saved, renovated, and preserved for all to view. Very intricate details in this home. Furnishing are not original but are very nice and representative of the period.

We love historical houses. We stopped in on a whim, and were greeted and taken on a tour immediately. The history was very cool, the house was beautiful. The upstairs "museum" had all sorts of amazing things to check out.

Stepping into history at the Shorter Mansion in Eufala, AL, was truly like walking onto a movie set. The knowledgeable guide brought the past to life, sharing captivating stories of the mansion, its inhabitants, and the surrounding area. The house is impeccably preserved, offering a glimpse into a bygone era. The upstairs museum is a treasure trove of local history. This tour is a must for anyone interested in Southern history or architecture. It's an immersive experience that leaves a lasting impression.

I was the only person at the mansion when I arrived, so I basically had a private tour. I was guided on the bottom floor, but the second floor was self-guided. The only thing that could improve the experience would be a pamphlet with printed information, because I can't remember everything they told me. I enjoyed the visit very much! Beautiful mansion with lots of history.

We full-time RV travel, and recently chose Lakepoint State Park for a three-night stop on our route. Upon arrival we followed directions for check-in and drove over to the marina. We wondered why the building at the entrance to the park was not used for check-in, but as we looked around in it, it was abandoned except for possible offices? Not sure. The website states check in is at 4pm, but the nice young lady that assisted us in the marina told us check-in is any time after noon due to the marina office closing at 4pm. We received our map and truck window display tag and drove to our site. The road was decent to the campground area. The gate was open so we did not have to enter the provided gate key pad code. We used the code on other days during our stay when we exited and re-entered the campground area. Our site was a pull thru full hookup spot in Deer Court campground. It provided a grassy area, a picnic table, and a fire pit. The site was quite messy with sticks and pine needles. The asphalt was either broken or covered with stones and needles. We had plenty of room for our 35-foot trailer and tow vehicle. The Deer Court campground had one restroom/shower facility. It was decent. The campground has areas with worn and broken roads, but it was okay to enter and exit as well as to take walks. Close by was a boat dock with a walking path to get to the dock. Cautionary alligator signs near all water locations. Trash was very full and overflowing. There was a dog park near the building at the entrance to the park and a laundromat near the campground gate area with four washer and three dryers. It was an okay place to stay but as a State Park we would expect more from it. It felt quite neglected.

It's beautiful here. The lodge here is incredible. They have a pool it's kid and dog friendly the bath house is OK. They have hiking and motorized trails. For being a state park upkeep cpuld of been alot better. The lodge is very nice They have cottages that is worth renting. Also they have boat launches at the lodge area and also within the park. You can go fishing . They have catfish and crappie and nice size one you can clean and eat

My family and I enjoyed our visit and stay at the campground at Lakepoint State Patk. This was our first visit. We visited in mid-July. The campground was not crowded. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed. It did not seem very busy or overcrowded, which we enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are 2 restaurants onsite; one at the marina and one at the lodge. The one at the marina was closed and was not open for the year. The one at the lodge is open. The breakfast buffet is good, but I did not care too much for the lunch buffet.

I've been to several state parks throughout the state, and this one, by far, has been the most disappointing. The playground/picnic area was very small, and the roads were okay. There was not a lot of activity (boat or fishing), which made it feel a bit desolate. On another note, the views were great.

Clean facilities, great RV sites, check in was a breeze. Plenty of amenities! Will be back.

The weather was good. The Cottages were roomy and clean. They are older so make sure you bring adapters to charge all your electronics. The pontoon ride was so much fun. Very nice picnic area. Lots of room for kids to play.

Had fun camping but rain most of the time I was there. Nice views,big fish,rode my bike all around the park.😀

A neat place to see interesting rock formations and walk some trails Providence Canyon, often called Georgia’s “Little Grand Canyon,” is in some ways a “diamond in teh rough” and in other ways rundown. It is a worthwhile stop about 28 miles southwest from Plains. The park offers several short trails and overlooks that make it easy to take in the colorful canyon walls without needing to hike for hours. The visitors center is small but informative, and the staff is friendly. The center explains the park’s history — including how this landscape formed from poor 19th-century farming practices that caused massive erosion. The result today is a maze of deep gullies and cliffs striped with red, orange, and white layers of clay that look a lot like parts of Grand Canyon or Bryce Canyon. There are trails that start at the center to go down into the canyon and provide interesting views. I think the views from the top of the canyon that you can drive to are really nice. But, with all that said, the park could use a bit more upkeep. Some of the wooden viewing platforms and railings are showing their age, and a few paths could benefit from fresh gravel and clearer signage. Still, the raw beauty of the canyons more than makes up for it. It’s a great half-day trip — a little rough around the edges but full of color and good sights/views. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. Enjoy!

It was great experience! We enjoyed walk and 2 trails. We packed our lunch from home they have nice picnic tables. If you are planning to visit you must have good shoes,googles, snacks, water bottle, sunscreen, hat. Plan to go early morning then you will enjoy all trails. Best for photography.view is awesome! Camping is also there . It features massive gullies and canyons as deep as 150 feet, with soil that has beautiful pink, orange, red, and purple colors. But the Main fact is the canyons were not formed naturally by a river. They were created in the 1800s by massive soil erosion caused by poor farming practices.

Providence Canyon State Park is a beautiful and unique spot for a day outdoors with the family. The canyon views are amazing, and the colorful rock walls feel like something out of the Southwest. There are two main trails: a shorter 2-hour hike and a longer 7-hour loop, so it’s best to plan ahead based on your time and energy. We stuck with the shorter trail, and it was perfect with kids. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes—some areas are muddy or wet—and bring plenty of water, especially on warmer days. The trails aren’t crowded, and there are restrooms and a visitor center on site. Great for families who want a little adventure without a packed crowd!

A truly unique experience! I explored Canyons 1 through 5 from both the top and down below. The views were absolutely breathtaking— each vantage point offered something different and unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone who loves dramatic landscapes and scenic beauty. I will hopefully be returning in the future.

Gorgeous! The vires from the overlooks are stunning but if you're able, don't skip walking the floor of the canyon! Feels like you're in another world down there. The canyon floor does stay wet... Not squishy wet but a trickle of water flowing over sandy ground. Waterproof boots are recommended, but I did fine just treading lightly in regular tennis shoes. Well maintained and clear trail on Canyon Loop trail, but Also be prepared to climb steep hills.

Unbelievable views this is a must stop. If you love to go backpacking in the backcountry or even just for a 3 mi hike or just as for the canyons this is a great place to go only $5 for the day for the canyons. Beautiful scenery , unforgettable!

CBS SUNDAY MORNING ended a show with video from this park. We were so intrigued that we started researching it for our October 2025 road trip. We are so glad we came. It was incredible! We visited the visitor center the first day, before it closed at 5. Rangers were friendly and helpful. We got a map for our hike the next day, and bought some provisions for our stay at a Florence Marina State Park cabin up the road. The next day we hiked down the steep, rocky terrain to the signs for all the trails. We chose Canyons 4-5, which were flat, and less wet & less difficult to hike than Canyons 1-3, and other trails. The views were spectacular! We noticed the puddles of water & wondered why some were silvery and bright. When we asked the ranger in the visitor center, she didn't know. The hike back up to the visitor center required several stops at Boy Scout donated benches. Thank you, Boy Scouts! My asthmatic lungs needed the respites. At the visitor center, we used the boot cleaning mats and hose to wash off the red clay of Ga. On the way out of the park, we stopped at the restrooms on the right of the road. This is where we got the BEST photos! Stop, get out and walk to the fences. You will be thrilled with the view. We were. This is our now favorite park in GA.

Very fun and knowledgeable tour of rum making!! These people know what they are doing!! I'm so happy we stopped! The distillery is housed in a beautifully restored historic building. The rum (which is good and smooth) is made from sugarcane that is grown locally. The aroma of it being distilled will definitely heighten your senses!! Of course, we bought a bottle!! Another awesome find!! Thanks Richland Rum...

Richland distilling is a must-see when in the area. Not only are their rums fantastic, the staff is super friendly and a lot of fun. The tour is absolutely worth it. I can’t recommend this place enough. They have a variety of rums, some of which are award winning. The distiller is also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate.

These guys are the best! Their rum is awesome! Some of the best tasting rum ever! And some samples onsite are not available in stores. So I recommend that you stop by and sample some of the items they sell in the distillery.

Very impressive Rum! I'm normally a whisky drinker but wow! Rick was our host and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The establishment was neat and clean. May be off the beaten path but well worth it.

Hi! We recently went on a tour at the Richland Distilling Company in Richland, Georgia. Their sugar cane farm is just a couple miles away from the Distillery. Amazing expedition. TJ is super kind and he shared a lot of knowledge about how to produce the rum. Everything is clean and extraordinary. I had a great experience. The facility is very nice and was filled with the sweet smell of cane syrup. The sample that was given had a great aroma with no harsh alcohol scent. The taste was very clean with an initial caramel flavor that was followed by an agricole characteristic of vegetable and grass. The finish wasn't long but it went down very smooth. I was able to taste the barrel proof liquid straight from the copper still, which was surprisingly smooth at close to 120 proof. Very flavorful with a nice balance of dry and sweetness. An overall good rum but not the Agricole that will have me moving away from typical molasses-based rums.

Rick and TJ have a wealth of knowledge to share during the tour and tasting and are really nice guys. Amazing that such a huge facility and impressive business with delicious products is run by just 3 people! Definitely worth the stop!

I came across this place in my travels years ago, but forgot about it. Thanks to my SIL & BIL for the reminder. What an oasis in a dessert. Lots of space to be what you want to be. Shoot some pool, play a game, chill in the cool tap room or enjoy the fresh air on the patio. In the 70s in March, yes please! Lots of points for only having 1 IPA 😉. The hefe is pretty good, as well as the IPA according to my husband. I was indecisive on a sparkling water so I tried Dad's special after the recommendation. Looks like pink lemonade, but so good. Too bad we had to head out before the entertainment. Friendly staff and looks to look at on the walls. The food truck was great, too. The Cuban was plenty for both of us.

What a great gathering place. It has so much to offer. Pool tables, a viewing room, a party room , bar and an outdoor space. Could ask for much more in a brewery. Beers a good but also offer wine, seltzers and other type of drinks all made by them. Must check out the big brewery in the small town of Omaha, Georgia

Such a cool brewery for being in the middle of nowhere in Georgia. They have a really interesting selection of beer, wine, and seltzer’s. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a must stop. I recommend trying the Keylime pie spiked water.

Quality brewery! First time at Omaha Brewing Company, and enjoyed it a lot. The space itself is really nice with multiple seating options, the beer is tasty, and the staff is super friendly and very conversational. Had three beers while here; a banana forward Hefeweizen, kölsch, and imperial brown ale with the brown ale being my favorite. Overall, great space with enjoyable beer and an awesome staff. My phone switched over to central time here, which I found confusing, but rest assured it’s EST. Almost pointlessly waited an hour for it to open.

My hubs and I just happened upon this little gem! We saw a sign passing through town and thought we'd check it out. It was so fun, and I'm glad we made time to try it out. They have beer, wine, and sparkling water options, so there's something for everyone! As far as food, there were food trucks out back with picnic tables and a couple of corn hole boards. It's just a great atmosphere to hang out and unwind. They also had live music, which was fun, and they were also pet friendly. We met a sweet couple and chatted with them for a little bit. Overall, I love this place! I wish we had one closer to our area.

Great brewery! Staff is helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a flight of sparkling seltzers and wine, and got some seltzer to go! It’s a huge place where you can hang out with friends. You can even bring your own food to eat, then enjoy a game of pool or play some games. We want to come back on a Saturday when they have food trucks and live music to enjoy! Don’t miss Omaha Brewing Co if you are in the area visiting Providence Canyon or Florence Marina State Park!

This location makes it a great day trip! There are so many educational timelines in the museum. It is clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to take your family and explore history. The museum is free for admission, but they encourage donations to keep the museum running. We will definitely be back again (without kids)!

The layout and design of this museum is exquisite. There is so much thought in all the details and they do a wonderful job of honoring our nation’s soldiers. There is no cost for admission and is great for all ages. Don’t forget get to bring some money for the concession stand and the gift shop.

My oldest son, Brendon, graduated Advanced Infantry Training this past Thursday (10/16/25) and the graduation ceremony was held here. It was breathtaking - so beautiful and so informative! I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable in regard to History, but I learned SO much here!

The National Infantry Museum far exceeded all of our expectations and it’s easy to see why it has consistently earned the title of America’s #1 Best Free Museum. From the moment we stepped inside, we were met with an incredibly well-designed, thoughtful, and immersive experience that pays deep respect to the history, sacrifices, and heroism of the American infantry. What truly sets this museum apart is the level of detail and dedication poured into every exhibit. It covers a vast span of U.S. military history—from the American Revolution all the way through present-day conflicts—with each war and military campaign given its own distinct space and identity. The displays are not only historically accurate and educational, but they’re also emotionally powerful. You don’t just walk through history—you feel it. We were especially impressed by the interactive and VR experiences, which added a whole new level of engagement and excitement for everyone in our group. The museum does a phenomenal job of blending traditional exhibits with modern technology to keep visitors of all ages involved and interested. Our group ranged from ages 17 to 51, and every single one of us walked away not only entertained but deeply moved and better informed. The care and respect shown toward the stories of real soldiers, both past and present, is evident throughout the museum. From the Hall of Valor to the Last 100 Yards ramp—every section was meaningful, inspiring, and beautifully executed. It’s honestly hard to believe that admission is free, given the quality of the experience. If you’re anywhere near Columbus, Georgia, this is a must-visit destination. Amazing museum, they spit all the time periods in us military history into small little rooms with great statues, very cool artifacts and displays and other stuff. The staff that greeted me was also very cool and energetic.

Why is the sky blue? Anyone who's been thru Sand Hill should be required to visit. It will take a full day to appreciate the museum and grounds. So much history.. great place to go for Family Day. Stay off the grass!

This is a really great naval museum! We drove 2 hours to get here and it was worth the drive down. They have a lot of naval information about ship types from the Union and Confederate sides. My son enjoyed visiting the museum and liked the depictions and explanations of how the ships were built and how they salvaged them. Definitely worth visiting!

Very cool being able to see the recovered remains of some of the ironclad warships and see some of the restoration process/progress. The curators are very knowledgeable in their fields of expertise.

One of the neatest historical museums we have ever visited. Never realized the shear size of the old ironclads until getting up close to the one on they have on display. They have put a ton of effort into making the walkthrough educational and helping you feel like you're actually in the boats and immersed in the time period. Definitely a great stop on our trip that I'm thankful we made it to.

Wonderful museum and excellent pieces of history on display. I went around lunch time and was not crowded. Staff were friendly and museum was clean well taken care of. Seeing the CSS Jackson and other artifacts was so nice. If you get a chance swing by and support the museum and see history.

Excellent museum. Very well curated; lots of detail on artifacts. Love life size exhibits to give you the true feel of objects. Highly recommend 2-3 hrs to read all the information and review exhibits.

Very cool. Actually seeing a ironclad mock up with what has been restored for view was amazing. To much history to mention here . There's lots to see. Well worth our time .

It was more educational and fun than I expected. Worth the trip.

Stopped in real quick since our hotel room was not ready, my youngest and I LOVE space so this was right up our alley. It's smaller than the space station in Huntsville, but also less crowded and doesn't charge the "top up" fees (i.e., the planetarium, the rocket room, the flight simulator pods were all included in the admission price).

We went here with my kids (6yo, 2yo) and they both had a blast. It's not too big, but has a shuttle nozzle front and center, some neat interactive for all ages, a planetarium, and an Odyssey mission! It was a great little stop that had plenty of learning things for parents and littles!

It’s a really cool place to visit. It’s a short visit, but definitely worth it. We live in Johns Creek and were in the city just for the weekend, so we decided to visit the museum. We were very excited to see all those parts of space history. All the staff are very friendly, especially Brigitte, she was very kind to us.

The Coca-Cola Space Science Center is a surprisingly fun stop, especially if you’re into space or hands-on exhibits. The simulators and displays are engaging without feeling overwhelming, and the staff is enthusiastic and helpful. It’s a great mix of education and entertainment that makes the visit genuinely memorable for all ages.

Took 5 of my grandchildren, age ranging from 5 to 16. They said this is their favorite museum. We visit a lot. Plenty of interactive things to do. The Plantaterium show was fabulous. Very educational and even had things that made the 5 year old laugh.

It was awesome! We visited with our 3 year old and we had a blast. We fed the aliens , we flew the flight simulators, watched the first part of the planetarium show and did the spacecraft simulator. Great time very friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend it!

Nice little museum to introduce kids to space. I carried 5 and 9 yo grandkids. Any kid over 12 will become bored quickly. We stayed about 2 hours. Parking was close and free. Cost around $30 for 2 SC and 2 kids.

I enjoyed the museum. Make sure you stop by the security office first to get a parking pass in order to park on campus. The information was clearly presented and very interesting. I learned some things, and definitely recommend this. The ranger at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

I love museums and this is a very well done Museum. GW Carver's academic life was presented very well. My young son loved the museum and the displays. There were many exhibits that were educational for me and held my son's attention. The museum entrance is free. This was well worth the visit. It only took about and hour to go through and read nearly all the displays and information plaques.

We learned so much history here and they had 3 different Junior Ranger Badges and a Junior Ranger patch for their JR programs. The Park Ranger was very nice and informative. I recommend others coming here. They have 3 different Passport stamps for the National Passport Stamp book also. You can get 2 different badges at the Tuskegee Airman Museum just down the road also.

Man oh man!!! LOVE THIS MUSEUM!! Artifacts galore!! Personal artifacts!! There are plenty of interactive spots and the history is rich, so very rich! Go to this museum, take your kids, grandkids etc... This man was literally "the black Leonardo". His life was so full of accomplishment it makes you sit back and ask yourself if you are living your full potential.

Very nice museum to visit. Very difficult to find. There are no signs for the museum or for parking or how to get a pass to get on campus. You have to be very persistent and ask a lot of questions to find the place.

For anyone coming to the museum, you have to come in the southwest side. You will then need to drive down to security the building to the left at the stop light then once you get your pass. At the stop light drive through the gates and drive down to hotel and park behind the building in the parking garage.

It was fantastic! Very informative and Dr.Carver was an amazing man. Soybean car parts in 1941 with Henry Ford.

The site was not crowded when I visited. The staff were very friendly. The site was clean and well maintained. The exhibits do a great job presenting the information. The hands-on exhibits were nice. The gift shop was closed due to construction today. It is very interesting, and I recommend it. Would visit again some time.

Very educational and a true honor to observe the exceptional service these military citizens provided for our country. It is a wonderful stop while on a road trip. Took me about an hour to complete everything. Very inspiring!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Tuskegee Airmen Museum. The layout was great and easy to follow and the exhibits were both educational and informative. National Park Service employees at the Museum were available, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Museum has a gift shop and plenty of parking.

Plenty of free parking, and the museum is also free. Quick getaways to this historic site. A must see and learn about American did to protect ours way of life.

I was down in the area visiting Family who is attending Auburn. I went to the airport to see the story area that I had read about. It was easy to find, but was very disappointed. It wasn’t open due to the federal shut down. I was able to walk around the grounds and read some of the placards, but it was a bummer not to go inside and see all of the displays. Don’t know when I’ll get back there, but hopefully it’ll be open next time.

Rather generic for a museum that covers some of the most heroic men and women in the history of the world. Not too many artifacts other than a few planes. Mostly walls of info which is fine I guess but personally I would like to see artifacts, no matter how small. Makes sure you go in mild weather, hangar one is 7x the temperature it is outside and hangar 2 is just cool enough to give you hope. Oh and don't get too close to the AC in the gift shop, it's forbidden 😂. Take my word for it... Go to this museum to support history but grab a pamphlet and sit in your car and read it if it's over 90° outside.

Loved visiting this place ! It was on my bucket list. 30 min film in hanger 2 defiantly worth it. Gift shop at end of hanger 2 very hard to find was closed for lunch so didn't get a magnet. Also if you can't walk that far drive down the hill and park. Also its free to see.

Was able to catch a P51 taking off. It was a sureal experience.

The little old lady that works there on Saturdays had a wealth of suggestions on places to visit and newly added attaractions to the Columbus area. It was great talking with her and checking out the visitors center.

The rest area is clean and tidy, everything is there, and it’s a beautiful place. The only downside is that we arrived here at midnight while driving, tired and wanting to take a short nap, but the restrooms were already closed.

Clean restrooms. Has a dog walk. Wheelchair accessible parking and restrooms . Nice Sitting area inside where you can sit a while and rest without resting in car or outside in cold/heat. One of the nicer ones I’ve been in

Stopped here for a rest and met Ms. Glenda! She was so sweet and welcoming! She was also very knowledgeable about the city! When I come back for the Christmas lights she told us about, I will stop and see her! Also the bathrooms were very clean!

Georgia does such a good job with their welcome centers. Clean bathrooms, air conditioned, cozy lobby, nice picnic area with bbq grill (though grill bottom rusted out)

Clean restrooms, friendly staff, nice dog walk. We always stop here on the way down to the panhandle. This is one of our favorite rest stops.

My family and I have been going here the last few weeks. We enjoy going to take different hiking trails. The waterfall is beautiful. The trails are fun. They have glamping, cabins, RV hook ups, and places to put up a tent, but we have never rented a place. The staff are always very kind. They have a playground that looks brand new and the kids love it. They are currently doing some construction inside, so we look forward to see the finish product of it.

We stopped here to picnic on our way to Helen,GA. The bathrooms were immaculate, the lake beautiful and the picnic area clean and we'll kept. We are not hikers (3 old ladies), so have no comment on trails. We were disappointed that the road was closed to get all the way around the lake, but the drive We did do was lovely through the woods and over an old bridge. A delightful couple hours respite.

So beautiful, came out when it hasn't rained a bit, first week of cool weather. Beautiful hiking trails. They're currently working on a structure by the waterfall trail, but you can enjoy a longer hike and still get to the falls. We liked down from the falls through the rocks and had a blast. Epic playground.

Great place to come with your family for some great trails and sights. There are cabins and campgrounds available. We did not spend the night here, but we intended to sometime. It costs $4/person, but you can spend the day there enjoying this park. My wife and I look forward to coming back here again.

Very nice staff! Lots of yellow jackets all.over the campground. They were swarming all over our sites during the day. The staff has been working on locating their nests throughout the park, but there are a lot of them right now. The bathrooms could be cleaner. There are many trails through the park and a small lake. The spots are private with many trees.

Chewacla State Park is such a perfect way to spend a morning while visiting Auburn! We snuck out early and were rewarded with gorgeous trails, peaceful water views, and the beautiful falls. It’s close to campus, easy to get to, and a great spot to reset before a busy day. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town!

This one was the first live Football Game I have ever seen and it was amazing! Auburn played against South Alabama and Tigers won. It was also homecoming event and there were tons of people but all of them respecting lines and roads, etc. I am looking forward to see a match Auburn vs Alabama!

I just want to say I've never been to a college football game before and I can say is had a good time. Note: please make sure you verify your seating section. We were in section 43 row 62 seats 21 & 22 (way up). My husband thought we were behind the field goal. They do provide free shuttle rides to the stadium and remember your location. Applause to the women & men driving the shuttles 👋🏼👋🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏽. People was friendly and as my husband stated, I came for the food (which I did too). The pretzels & funnel cakes are the highlights because they're cooked on site. I didn't do any dogs cause I like mine cooked longer. Popcorn is ok. Just don't be shocked, drinks are $6 and lines can be long. Thank you Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Honestly, one of the highlights of my life! The VIP Experience is AUSOME! Being able to tour the stadium and being able to take part in The Tiger Walk! WDE!!!

Awesome crowd. Very large stadium. Plan to spend a good bit of time finding & getting in your gate and to your seats. Might take 45 minutes or more after you get to the stadium. War Eagle!

Nice stadium. Huge scoreboard! Historically kinda spooky for opposing teams, but not this time. Go Dawgs!

Iconic Stop anytime visiting AUburn! Yummy lemonade & lots of shirts to choose from - there's a few more things than just shirts and lemonade too (keychains, coffee mugs, pins, exc)

This place is part of an Auburn tradition history. The lemonade was some of the best I've ever had. The lemonade slush was even better.I'd highly recommend getting some mix to go home to

Everyone else at this place is probably great, but this woman made my two kids cry. She locked the door at 6:59 with my hand on the handle as they were hoping to get an ice cream from a historic spot. Hope the management understands how the actions of one person can reflect on the history of an iconic spot. Also, the ice cream is great two doors down at a place that stays open past 7.

Toomer's drugs in a very well known and popular place in the state of Alabama however I had never been. I decided to go since my nephew was recently accepted to Auburn University. I was not disappointed. Firstly it must be said that the service from the employees working the bar is top notch. They were all so incredibly friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. They recommend the base lemonade with no flavoring since it was my first visit. It was DELICIOUS and DELIGHTFUL. It far exceeded my expectations for lemonade. I also had a tiger face cookie and it was also great. This place is definitely worth a stop for the great service and lemonade.

Love the atmosphere and vibe of Toomer’s Drugs! Not only do they have great lemonade and ice cream, but their Auburn merch is top notch! Self control is a must to prevent myself from buying every item in the store.

Way too crowded for my liking but I have social anxiety. Loud, crowded, extremely pricey. 40 bucks for a tshirt is a bit much. Seemed a bit chaotic. Definitely not diabetic friendly.. If you like crowded spaces and loud noises, a bit overly priced items and college kids stepping all over you because they are rude, then this is the place for you. Ohhhh and they have good lemonade 🤷🏼‍♂️

Chose tue resort for an anniversary turnaround getaway for me and my husband. It is overrated and over priced. Maybe years ago it was amazing. Event-wise could very well be amazing. Rooms ... No! Walls are thin, heard our neighbor's conversation for a good 4-5 hours til she fell asleep I guess. No microwave. One of the elevators was out of order. Cause delay for everybody. Ice machine on 2nd flor was out of order so we had to go up to the 3rd, with only one operating elevator. Yes I get it- it is a "destiny" resort. I use that loosely. The buffet was tasty but there was not enough options for the price. Hostess needs customer service training. We didn't even know it was buffet til another customer said they just go up and served themselves so we did as well. You all will not believe that thw lights were going out like the fuses were blowing. Not weather but you have too much going on and your breaker can't handle it. But nobody offered any explanation or reasoning. It is funny that we are asked for a deposit for incidentals bit we were not offered any kind of discount or complimentary anything for all that they had going on. We can't charge you a deposit. Please think real hard if you are not golfing, planning to go to their events or you are invited to a wedding just going here for your own celebration and atmosphere... it is not worth it... on another note- it seems like the town in general try to nickel and dime you, hoping you won't look at your receipts. Look at your receipts. Callaway Garden Hotel room 1 1/2 out of 10 for the money. And wifi is slower than a baby turtle. Grounds are beautiful ha a lot of greenery. Japanese Maples and different shrubs 🙃

All things wonderful here for family fun. We especially. I enjoyed the beach party at the lake and the food trucks had such a rousing selection of culinary delights. Having the trolley to transport us around the gardens and to the butterfly center was a plus. Callaway Gardens is being maintained in pristine condition. The amenities are superlative, and the grounds are well kept. The price was a value for all of the fun we had.

Had free tickets to gardens so went the end of September. Not much was happening but we rented bikes for $20 each and took time riding the 10 miles of bike path. It was nice and quiet. We stopped by the chapel which was beautiful and the butterfly aviary which was really neat, so many butterflies. We took a break by the beach and then upon returning the bikes spent some time in the discovery center which had some interesting nature information. Didn’t stay at the lodge

So I only went for the pumpkin patch, however it was so much fun. It wasn’t as big as I expected however the light path at night was fun, our little ones enjoyed it. The food was great and they had a bar for the parents which is a plus ! We will make it back for Christmas!

I took my husband here for a massage and to unwind while on his 34 hour work break. The grounds and venue were beautiful. It was easy to find and access from I65. It was very relaxing. With that said, take your wallet. Everything costs; everything. My husband loved his massage. He said he felt renewed. I had the spa pedicure. It was mediocre and could definitely use some improvement. EVERY one was nice. The workers definitely know what customer service is and they go above and beyond to provide a good experience. The rooms were beautiful, clean and up to date. The cellular service out there is as expected; nonexistent. That’s probably a good thing to unplug and really get you in the relax mode. The caveat? Ordering food in the evening. We wanted to return to the tap room after having enjoyed lunch there but there was a 2 hour wait for food orders. We decided to just get room service. Well, it was absolutely horrible. We ordered room service for dinner around 6pm. An hour later, they called us to say they were out of an item we ordered so my husband kept his room service order and I ordered a pizza from the market. Another hour later the room service food arrives. The pizza from the market was delicious, hot and much better than the burger and fries from room service. Overall: I think it’s a lovely and convenient place for a one or two nighter but we’ve definitely had a better experience for less money.

We get the yearly membership every year and go to quite a few of the events throughout the year. Our kids and us really enjoy it. They have a little bit of something for everyone. It does get busy for special events, but they do a good job of getting people in quickly at the gates considering the amount of people going through. Once you get in the cost of everything is pretty high - like $8 for a basic beer, but that seems almost normal now at places like this. The only real negative is their website. As a member it seems like the website has glitches especially when trying to buy the promised discounted tickets you get with certain membership levels. You can always call or deal with it in person, but in 2025 going quick and digital is what we've come to expect instead of having to sit on hold and wait.

Great stop! Especially for EVs! They have a solar powered charging station plus tire air (up to 80lbs!). See my pics! For RVs, they have a waste disposal area (dump station), a walking trail and plenty of covered picnic benches. Truckers have plenty of room too! We saw signage on the car side for a “Tire safety check” but wasn’t sure exactly what/where that was though… On the signage upon entry it mentions something about “Lodging Reservations”. Sorry almost missed the sign so cutoff some info.

A good clean place to stop and take a break from driving.

Awesome place but for what tax dollars pay for, the restrooms shouldn't close. They treat this place is if they personally own it. It's called the rest area for a reason you need to keep them restrooms open 24 hours.

This rest area was really nice, sold lottery tickets and other souvenirs. They had maps for tourist destinations. The place was very clean and organized. Plenty of parking and space to move around for stretching after a long ride. Even had a place to walk animals.

Lovely big park area outside to stretch your legs. Visitors info with lots of free travel maid and guides. Rest room areas large and very clean with Toto toilets (nice!) Good selection of vending machines. Nice rest stop area!

a rest area with no 24 hour access to restroom , as a trucker we need restrooms people or does this place like changing poop bages from there trash cans, i understand the main lobby , but the reatrooms really people

This place was a great way to spend a few hours but my parents felt a little unsafe in the rented van. The bus tour is also not recommended because it is way to fast and you barely get to touch the animals. Bring your own vehicle because the animals are very hungry!(just kidding there are boards around saying they are well fed and you are basically giving them healthy treats!) The experience was great and I enjoyed hanging around the animals and taking pictures but for next time I recommended getting 1 bag of food for each passenger because we finished all the food before we got to the middle.

Pine Mountain version of Lion Country Safari I grew up visiting Lion Country Safari in Florida. This was a place where you could drive your car through the enclosure with wild animals. You did not feed them but it put you really close to the animals. We were visiting Callaway Gardens and decided to see what else is in the area. This is one of them. It is really a hidden gem for the area. It is fairly easy to get to and has plenty of parking. They have a small gift shop and a small zoo with several animals in enclosures to include big cats. If you feel adventurous you can buy a bag of food and drive into the large enclosure and feed teh larger animals. You have a choice of driving through the enclosure in your own car or renting a vehicle from the company. We drove our own car but, in hindsight, may rent their car on the next visit since some of the animals peck or scratch your car aggressively to get you to give them food that they know most cars who open windows have. We drove through, at time almost at a standstill from animals that lay down in front of the car hoping to get us to put food out. When you did, they move out. It is a large enclosure and took us about 15-25 minutes to drive the loop. It was a lot of fun and interesting to feed the animals but be ready to have them stick their heads totally into your car and slobber all over you. If you have kids or love animals, I would definitely recommend doing the drive through and supporting this park.

We visited Wild Animal Safari last week during an anniversary get away. We spent two hours driving the park, feeding the animals, and having some absolute amazing encounters and experiences with them. Truly one of the coolest experiences of my lifetime! Employees were friendly and helpful. The animals are abundant and interactive. My suggestion for other guests is to absolutely rent one of the safari's vehicles as lots of the animals have horns/antlers and will rub them up against the side of the vehicle. Also, no matter how much food you buy, you will run out. Try to make a conscious effort to save some for the animals at the end of the experience. We purchased the souvenir bag of food and found plenty of animals happy to eat it all. One small brown bag of food is definitely not enough. The bucket is a good call as is the souvenir bag if you plan to take your time and feed everybody, which we did! We had a wonderful time and would absolutely come back again!

I am not a fan of any type of animals. However, I wanted to take my niece somewhere fun because she loves animals. I have to say I absolutely loved my visit to Wild Safari! The bus ride was incredible. While I didn't feed any animals, it was so fun to seeing the animals. Our driver was very funny! You can ride the bus as many times as you want. The zoo was amazing! The animals on the trail and at the zoo looked very healthy. The animals in the zoo part had nice habitats. I will definitely be visiting here on a yearly basis. It was also nice to be able to get a snack before walking to the zoo. Also, the prices for tickets are very reasonable.

My family and I have been here twice now and we love it! It is pricey (for us) but we still do not regret paying for the experience we have. We understand that this goes towards caring for the animals and paying the staff to do so, so it makes sense! We had such a great time here and recently did the sloth encounter as well. It was so fun and McKenzie was very informative and patient with our hundreds of questions. She is awesome! We will be coming back for sure. My daughter is 3 and wants to touch and hold every animal she sees, so when she is big enough for an encounter, we will do one for her too! 🙂

Thank you Righteous for explaining everything such a calm spirit. The staff here are lovely the customer service is impeccable the animals are kept very well. Worth the drive from Charlotte NC. I would recommend renting a van from them which is ressonable in price. Wishing everyone peace, and love! ☺️

Unexpected amazing experience! Took my 2 nieces for a Sunday afternoon outing and got WAY more than expected! The animals were all very friendly and came straight up. For this reason I definitely recommend renting one of their cars or taking the bus tour. The girls absolutely loved it! We were laughing and smiling the whole time! Unfortunately we didn't have time to take the walking tour but that just gives us a reason to return.
