Great spot for a walk or hike. Definitely dry and hot in the summer but beautiful scenery and a good spot for walking the dog.

Living in the Bay Area has allowed me explore beautiful hidden places and this would be one of them. Black Diamond Mines Regional Park is a great spot for adults and children alike and certainly worth a visit. The park is open all year long and offer many hiking trails to choose from with gorgeous views from the peaks. Once you're parked at the farthest point of the road, the old Somersville cemetery can be seen at a distance and toured along the upper slopes of the hill. Do check the hours of operation for the other facilities such as the visitor center and be sure to secure a reservation if you are interested in the mine tour which is highly recommended. Parking is vast and in my experience it has always been free. In my experience the best months to visit are December through April where the hillsides are green and beautiful.

This is an interesting Regional Park with historical exhibits relating to the Somerville community as well as the coal mining. The hikes are very enjoyable. When you gain elevation, the blue Sacramento River Delta blends into the Skyline. In summer, the hills are sweeping golden expanses. The pioneer cemetery features landscaping of Italian Cypress that flourish in this Mediterranean climate. There are occasional rocky outcroppings and some dense stands of manznita and isolated native drought tolerant vegetation. The trails are popular for horseback riding.

it’s a nice hike with a few spots of pretty fall colors during the season. There were plenty of hiking trails and a nice hike around the lake. Good park for children to spend time outside that has plenty of park benches. Some trails had alot of cow dung.

Beautiful green rolling hills during springtime. Literally a Microsoft wallpaper, but in real life! Kiosk was closed when I visited, according to website they’re “seasonally open” so not sure when they start collecting fees. Took advantage of that fact and we enjoyed an amazing hike with views of Mt Diablo, the delta, and surrounding hills. Beautiful wildflowers everywhere! Dog friendly as well, our dogs enjoyed the hike off leash.

We took the tour as a group and hiked afterwards. Our guide was absolutely amazing and personable. They were very informative but made it interactive and engaging for everyone. Unfortunately the tour distance is still pretty short as they work on restoring the tunnels, but hopefully they will have that completed in 2024. The trails and views are beautiful and I highly recommend trekking out to this nearby gem.

This is my second time here. I enjoyed the experience and being far enough away from other campers. The pros: inexpensive ($36 a night), a lot of space for tents. Great for kids or adult kids to ride scooters and bicycles. A great swimming area. Cons: There was a sign stating no campfires (no wood and no charcoal), which to me defeats the camping experience. The shower water was extremely hot. Almost too hot to shower. Almost every restroom door was locked because guests did not check the locking mechanism, so when they shut the door upon leaving, the door would lock. The owners should invest in better locks. Overall, I would definitely recommend Brannan Island. And, make sure to bring quarters for the shower. $.50 and the water runs for about 30 minutes

It's summer, so dry grass. Be careful with the campfire. There was no attendant at the kiosk. Check in at 2 pm, and we arrived a little before 2 pm. We went out the next day, and there's the kiosk attendant present with plenty of cars checking in. We got in line to check in, but when 12 pm. struck, the staff left for lunch. We were still not checked in. At least it's paid online. Some sites are dirty from previous campers, and no one picked it up. On the positive side, the walkways are concrete, and we saw quite a few bunny rabbits. We also got lucky with the cool weather, and I got lucky to get a shade in my site. It's always nice to camp. Brannan Island has potential, but it seems neglected. Can't say anything about restrooms and showers because I did not use those. No one bothered us, so I'm always a happy camper. I will not come back here anymore. California still has beautiful and well maintained campgrounds. Ca state parks need to get their act together.

Quiet....road that takes you around the loop is pretty rough,so pay attention..small potholes all over,but big enough to catch you off guard if your going to fast..there Iis no shoulder,so be mindful that people walk this road with their dogs... Lots of waterfowl. Several swan couples as well. My visit also included heading back to their group, a few wayward goats..the herd dog seemed exasperated and didn't seem to mind the intervention.

Campground is open and safe. A few campsites are far from the restrooms so plan ahead if you have young kids. There is a nice swimming area nearby if you or your kids like swimming or boating/kayaking activities. Bring your beach tent or canopy to deal with the sunlight. Water taps are available or the campsites. Bring your music system and plan other activities. Enough restrooms are available. Do not park roadside even if the space is available, rangers can give the warning and then give the tickets.

I truly like it here. Just wish the swimming area was better kept up. But over all i like it

Plenty of restrooms and places to set up your tents. My Granddaughter threw her fishing line in and 2 seconds later she had a FISHON. We loved the fishing. It was a keeper but the fishing was a great experience for us all.

Lots of fun. There were a lot of people for a Saturday but no waiting. Everyone who worked there was helpful and nice.

I brought my son here to celebrate his 11th birthday just him and I. We had a lot of fun. For two of us we paid about $160 to do everything they had to offer. Mini golf, go karts, arcade, laser tag all of it. The staff was also very nice. My only real complaint is how much it costs. Especially the aracade games. I know that they can only control so much but amusement parks in the area are cheaper. All in all, it was a good time.

We had a blast for about $200. VR, Go-Karts, Bumper Boats, Batting Cages,Lazer Tag and arcade Games. Fairly reasonable snack bar prices. Water $3 a bottle. There are only seventeen holes on the east side of the mini golf! What happened to number seventeen? It jumps from sixteen to eighteen! 😂 Great place for birthday parties. Fun party rooms and lots of helpful staff. Big Play Place for kids up to eleven. I wish this place had cooling stations in the summer!

Fun place to take the kids or to feel like a kid again. There are plenty of opportunities to do other things other than miniature golf and video games, so give those a try also. You don't buy tickets but rather one buys points or buy a three hour pass. If using points, you can use them how you please amongst the attractions. It is cheaper if you buy online in advance. This Scandia has been around for almost 50 years, so it is getting a little long in the tooth I places, which doesn't take away from the fun, but it could use some sprucing up. They have good birthday packages.

I came to Scandia and played a round of mini golf with my 5 yr old. And it was fun!!! The only small thing I think could have been slightly better is how each group of players are back to back and you may have to either play fast for the group behind you or play real slow because of the group ahead of you. Maybe they could have like 10-15 mins in between each group. I know they have two courses you can choose from and maybe it's a little tough. But I am just throwing it out there it would be nice... But it's a great place for the family, to go on a date, for a birthday party and there's lots to do and for all different ages from toddlers to adults !!! And the prices are not too bad ...

I really wanted to enjoy this place but SADLY I DOD NOT. There’s not a lot of seating in the dining room despite it being such a large establishment. I was able to find some empty tables over by the kids jungle gym but we were kicked out by the staff. Apparently it was a party room and only available to rent for $50 / hr. Given my little ones were in the jungle gym I didn’t want to be far away from them. No one was in the party room and when I objected, the staff said they were preparing the room for a party the next day. The staff was extremely rude and not amenable to parents with young children. I WILL NOT BE BACK!!

Very nice winery but the tasting was a little commercialized compared to others. The location is located near a highway but the grounds were beautiful. The views were nice as well. The tasting was average as we shared a waiter who explained the wines but would end up having to leave to help other tables. We sat with many others. The wine was pretty good and the Charcuterie we ordered was good.

Domaine Carneros is known for their bubbly, but they also have fantastic Pinot Noirs. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the perfect single stop before hitting DT Napa so my parents from out of town could experience the beauty of Napa Vineyards. The service was wonderful and we were so happy with how tastings were executed: they bring all the glasses and wines out together, pour each glass one at a time and give their spiel for each one as they are pouring, and then they leave you to enjoy each one at your own pace (as opposed to pouring them one at a time and constantly interrupting your group convo/not allowing you to tasting each one to decide which is your favorite) highly recommend if you like bubbly or pinot noir!

Very beautiful place. I believe our waiter was named Neil. He has some amazing green eyes! He was friendly and helpful. Great explanations.od the wine and the Peruvian pairing. It was truly just "bites.". So eat before you go! We ordered charcuterie as well, but still ended up going down the street to get food after. I definitely could have eaten a whole bowl of the stew!

My visit to Domaine Carneros was absolutely lovely. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—they took their time explaining each wine in our tasting flight, which made the experience both fun and informative. The tasting room had a calm and elegant atmosphere with beautiful vineyard views through the windows. It felt peaceful and relaxing the entire time. The wines were excellent, especially the sparkling ones, and the small cheese and snack platter was a nice surprise (I honestly can’t remember if I ordered it or not!). The place was clearly popular, but it never felt crowded. I’ll definitely come back again—and yes, I’m including a video because pictures alone can’t capture how nice it was!

The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, perfect for sipping wine. The wines were absolutely delicious, and the sparkling rosé stole the show—it was simply delightful! We visited with friends, and everyone had a wonderful time. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Great experience. I strongly suggest a tasting room reservation as this place is usually packed. And aim for late afternoon, this is when things slow down a bit. Bring a camera or charge your phone because there are great photo opportunities as you make your way up the stair. Yes, I just said stairs, and there are quite a few of them, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Everyone was able to choose their own flight selection, we paired it with the caviar flight and charcuterie board. And the food tasted amazing. We bought the mimosa sugar cubes on our way in and trust, they helped with some of the flight samples. The atmosphere was warm and inviting (we opted for the indoor seating, and lucked up and landed a spot next to the blazing fireplace). Overall we had a great time, and will definitely be visiting again soon. If you have never been this is definitely one to add to your bucket list.

This was the first winery i visited on my Napa trip and it was a great way to start, i think if i ended with it i may have been underwhelmed. The location is gorgeous and perfect for photos, the lighting is perfect. The pours are generous and i enjoyed all of the wine we got to try. They have food available to add on, we got their charcuterie board and it was pretty overpriced but it paired well with the wine. The service was okay, it took a while for anyone to help us and our waiter spilled wine and water while pouring a few times. Overall, this was a fun time and it was on the cheaper side for a wine tasting so it was definitely worth it!

Had an amazing time here enjoying a tasting with Iberico hamon to accompany the many wonderful Spanish style wines. This place is as beautiful inside as it is outside.

Beautiful experience, we were able to make a last minute reservation. I believe Ariel helped us out with that. Unfortunately we were running behind due to an accident a mile down the road but Amelia Ceja, one of the owners, graciously agreed to seat us for the tasting. Loved learning about the family history and about the wine, she had great stories. Unfortunately we had to run for another tasting and couldn’t stay too long but the experience we had was absolutely phenomenal!! We purchased some wine glasses to bring home to commemorate such a great experience. Chardonnay was tasty!! We went the second week of September and it was a beautiful day outside. Definitely going back next time we’re in Sonoma

We attended a tasting with a member, and it was a luxurious, spa-like experience in a gorgeous space with delicious wines.

This was our first visit to Artesa. My husband and I have enjoyed their wines before at a local restaurant in our hometown, so we were excited to finally experience the winery in person. Our host, Jacob, was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, engaging, and generous enough to give us a quick tour of the building with another group. We weren’t expecting that, and it made our visit truly memorable.My husband chose the Bubbles & Caviar experience, while I enjoyed the wine and chocolate pairing. Both were exceptional, and we loved every moment of our tasting. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in wine country!

Recommend the ATV wine tasting, ask for Steve!! He listens to what you like during the first few splashes and curates the rest of the tasting a little based on it :) we loved our experience and left with some of the estate grown Malbec — delicious

A truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Our host Jennifer was hospitable but allowed for nice silences when out in the vineyard during out ATV tour of the grounds. The tastes from Chef Christopher Lemerand were extraordinary and paired with the wines to highlight even the most subtle flavors of both the solids and liquids.

We didn’t have a proper reservation for wine tasting, but the staff were so kind and still offered us a complimentary glass of wine. Such a nice gesture! The art museum here is absolutely amazing — a must-see if you visit. Beautiful atmosphere and very welcoming experience overall. We’ll definitely come back for a full tasting next time!

We had such a great experience here! Our guide was so welcoming and knowledgeable. This was unique to other wineries we visited since we got a tour of the art gallery and the estate. Our guide was dedicated just to us for our visit and we left feeling like friends! The wine is excellent and we got more of an education here than any of our other stops.

One of the best outlet malls in the North State. Great prices & selections. We were there this past weekend & found shoes for all my kids. The North Face also had a 60% clearance sale!! Needless to say, it was like Christmas in March!! Time to do an epic haul video.

Vacaville Premium Outlets is definitely a go-to spot if you’re looking to score great deals on name-brand items. I recently visited and was impressed by the variety of stores and the discounts available. I found some amazing deals at Zales, where the prices on select pieces were significantly marked down—perfect for a special occasion or just to treat yourself. I also found some great finds at a few other shops, especially on shoes and seasonal apparel. The outlet layout is spread across two main sections, so be prepared for a bit of walking, but the grounds are generally clean and easy to navigate. Parking can get crowded during peak hours, but I was still able to find a spot without too much hassle. Most stores were well-stocked and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s not the most upscale shopping destination, but if you’re after variety, name brands, and solid discounts, this is a great place to spend a few hours. A solid outlet experience overall—and worth the stop if you’re in the area or looking to do some serious bargain shopping!

My family absolutely LOVES the Vacaville Premium Outlet Mall! We live a few hours away and drive over the hill for about 3 hours each direction to shop here. We come a few times a year, especially during holidays when sales are fabulous! We shop at about 75% of the stores, making purchases at most. We spend a nice chunk of change each time but we make out like bandits with sooo much stuff! Always happy with our experience. Thanks to ALL the employees who put in so much effort to make our time there great and well loved.

Honestly, this is my go to outlet mall. I love how much parking there is and I feel the stores do carry quite a bit of selection as they’re pretty big compared to Livermore. I always find something in this mall, so definitely recommend!

Vacaville Premium Outlets has become a second-class outlet center in recent years. Many premium name-brand outlet stores have moved out after the San Francisco Premium Outlets opened many years ago. The phase one section of the outlet center still has some good stores, but the phase two section is pretty empty, or it has only a few stores I want to shop. The old design with the parking lot in the middle of the outlet mall is also outdated. Most of the shoppers drive their cars directly to the stores they want and skip everything in between! So the less famous stores will have a hard time Survive!

I went to Bath and Body Works. Plenty of products in stock and the staff were amazing. Kory (I can't remember the rest of her name 😭) and Bella were very knowledgeable on the products and offers available 🔥 excellent customer service deserves recognition ✨

Nice premium outlet! All kinds of brands. got huge parking lot not too crowded.... Lots of public restroom, vending machines, Unfortunately NO restaurant at all .. you will get to see only food truck! And some vendors..However must say had an great tacos truck there, must try from them.

We have been members at Bogle for a couple of years and this is by far the best winery to have a membership at. They value their members and make you feel right at home every time you come to visit. The winery is kid-friendly making it the perfect way to spend an afternoon. They have amazing events all year long and really curate each one to perfection. They also have a large suite of incredible wines that keep us coming back time and time again! Definitely worth a trip out to Clarksburg if you’re not from the area!

This winery's selection of reds and whites were very tasteful for various meals. Am very pleased, comfortable to bring both varieties for hosts, hostesses, and different occasions. I know the party will enjoy the selection(s).

The staff are AMAZING!!!💫 I can not stress this enough. The wine is also great and the price point was something that caught me by surprise. We had a picnic and enjoyed a tasting. Definitely telling everyone about Bogle and the magical experience I had.

We have visited quite a few wineries and can say this is THE most beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable setting we have discovered! I'm sure you are aware of the popular Bogle wines found in stores. We discovered their Reserve Chardonnay, only sold in their winery and found it to be the best Chard we have ever enjoyed! Ended up buying a case. Will return for their wine tastings Thursday through Sunday. The outdoor atmosphere is relaxing, comfortable and elegant. With cushioned seats as well as Adirondack chairs shaded under three giant Sequoia trees surrounded by the vines, it's a perfect venue for couples, singles and even large groups. The drive here is also a treat winding along the Sacramento Delta rivers. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and visit this wonderful winery! Super friendly staff, a great shop for treats and mementos as well.

We had the most amazing experience at Bogle family vineyards when we visited the Sacramento area in July all the way from Sweden. We were recommended this great place by our friends in Sacramento and are so happy we went, We tried 10 different wines, and they were all very tastefull. This was during the heathwave so we forfeit the beautiful gardens and had the tasting in the air conditioned upstairs which was very nice. Our wine guide Hyathy was such a loveley, friendly and knowable person making sure we had the best of times. We spent the better part of two hours trying the wine and ended up getting quite a few of their tastefull and affordable bottles to take home. We cant wait to come back another year and we really recommend this experience if you like to visit a friendly and affordable vinery!

I have been a member of Bogle for longer than I can remember... from the Friday concerts to the new wines such as the 20 Acres, the new Phantom's Juggernauts etc they have always been a VERY consistent producer of good wines. The Chardonnay's to me are their best wines... they have expanded to maybe 4 now? All are unique and very good in their own right. The new tasting experience is wonderful and rival what we get in the Napa, Sonoma area. Bogle remains our local go to winery! This past weekend we had a tasting of the Element [AL] wines. Working for a division of CalEPA I recognize and support Bogles efforts towards sustainability.

More than the wines themselves, what makes O’Brien Estate memorable is how you taste them. Visits are by appointment only, which means you avoid crowds and can savor the wine without rush. Keith and Phil are absolutely amazing! The setting amplifies the wine. Outdoor tastings beneath vine canopies or in carefully tended gardens, barrel rooms that smell of oak and promise, and sweeping views of the fields make for a full sensory experience. If your tastes run toward bold red blends and classic Cabernets, and you appreciate a winery that offers both elegance and intimacy, O’Brien Estate delivers in spades. It’s not just about drinking wine — it’s about being enveloped in place, story, and craftsmanship. Their reds are worthy companions to excellent food or thoughtful conversation, and their estate makes visiting feel like stepping into something more than just Napa — more like wine’s poetic landscape. As always, an unbelievable experience at O’Brien Estate. The tasting was incredibly personal, not commercial at all, which is exactly what makes this place so special. The owner, Bart, came out and spent time with us, sharing stories and insights that made the visit even more memorable. The wines are exceptional, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. My friend and I stopped in without a scheduled tasting appointment. Unlike a lot of wineries, we were welcomed in and they even gave us a quick tour. We had the most wonderful experience at this charming little winery! We loved spending time with all the animals l, especially the cat and goats❤️. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely welcome — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The wines were fantastic, each one unique and thoughtfully crafted, and the tasting experience felt relaxed and personal rather than rushed. We can’t say thank you enough to Jonathan and Phil! The setting was beautiful, perfect for spending an afternoon enjoying great wine and good company. You can really tell that everyone here takes pride in their work and cares about their guests. We left with a few bottles (ok a lot) and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Keith was the best. My friend Audrey and I had a wonderful tasting here after traveling from Texas! We met some goats, a bunny, two dogs, and two of the winery cats. As animal lovers, it was such a fun experience for us. Thank you so much for a great visit. Would definitely come back again!

This Winery was amazing ! We came for the stomping harvest experience , and fell in love . So much so, that we came back the next day. Phil, Keith, and Emily were exceptional hosts! All their wines are amazing ! This estate has taken pride in their work ethic as well as their wines . I really appreciated the poems in their bottles . It is such a sweet personal touch. O’Brien is an incredibly special, authentic, and organic winery in Napa. I do not prefer red wine but their red wine is phenomenal. You will not regret a visit to this gem. Keith and Phil are absolutely amazing!

Very attractive place with great stores including the Rack, Petsmart,, Bestbuy and a variety of restaurants. Very walkable and not over crowded. I had a lot of fun shopping.

Came here with my kids to show them the Nut Tree i grew up but it was pretty disappointing. The train is underwhelming but okay for little kids, it does two laps around the plaza. Lots of litter in the bushes, and on tables and the train smells like a carcinogen. When I was waiting on the train, the conductor said someone told them that there are people coming from the carousel to catch the train but they never came so we had to wait for 10 minutes. The conductor apologized for the wait. The only reason this is not a 1 star is because of the good customer service from the employees.

My daughter loves this little place. The carousel and the train are both $5 each. There's tables and seating throughout and a little play area in the middle.

We went to Nut Tree Plaza to pick up a turkey cranberry havarti on sour dough sandwich and a free monthly sour dough bread. Join the club! We usually eat the sandwich there, but we didn't have the extra time. The center has Starbuck's and Verizon there too! Enjoy this strip center.

Well! I remember the old " Nut Tree"...I used to take my children there quite a bit. And, while things have changed, I would totally recommend this for about 2 hours to keep the children happy. There is a Carousel, and the Nut Tree Train, there is a small park, they provide Chalk for the kids to be creative on the hardware. There are many places to eat, from Sushi, Italian, Hawaiian, Mexican and American. There are loads if little shops and boutiques. Fenton Creamery is there, if you want to have lu ch or just an ice cream. There is a Jelly Belly outlet, an Ulta, See' s Candy, T-Mobile store, Best Buy, Old Navy, Homegoods, BevMo...etc. The tickets are $4 each fir the train, and $4 fir the child only on the Carousel ( the parent or guardian are welcome to accompany the child at no charge). There is shade, and benches...you could easily take a picnic out there if you wanted to! AND, as an added plus. ..their public restrooms are immaculate! Check it out!

Had the best experience with my girls!!! Excellent service all around and our host, Grey, made our tasting extra special. The sparking wine was delicious of course and the property is stunning. A must add location for your tasting itinerary!

We had an amazing experience at Chandon California! The staff was incredibly welcoming, the fried chicken was amazing and the sparkling wines were absolutely delicious. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable wine tasting in Napa!

Located in the charming town of Yountville, this winery offers a beautiful setting with scenic gardens, outdoor tables, tents, and cabanas — perfect for relaxing with family or friends over a glass of bubbly. There’s also a restaurant with an adjacent patio area that adds to the laid-back outdoor vibe. However, the overall size of the property is relatively small, and if I remember correctly, there wasn’t a tour option available during my visit. Reservations are required for tastings, and walk-ins are very limited. Pricing is definitely on the higher end — a simple bowl of chips with sauce was around $30, which felt a bit steep for what you get. The wine tasting flight itself was decent, and our server was friendly, talkative, and knowledgeable about the wines. The sparkling selections were enjoyable, especially if you’re a fan of lighter, crisp profiles. Overall, Chandon Gardens is a nice 2- to 3-hour stop to chill, sip, and enjoy the scenery, but I wouldn’t rank it at the top of my Napa wine-tasting list. Great for a quick visit, not necessarily for a full winery experience. ⭐️ 3.5/5 – Beautiful spot, good vibes, decent wine, but pricey for what you get.

Beautiful place. Very calm vibe. Staff were very professional. Our waitress was friendly, polite, helpful and informative. Brunch was delicious. The fig salad was my favorite! It's expensive but a nice step away from the city.

Beautiful property in the heart of the Napa Valley! We went here for a tasting to start off our day in the valley and could not recommend this beautiful property more! The etoile stood out as the crowd favorite. We tasted the current vine makers first vintage where everything was completely done under their direction. It danced across my tongue.

Great, well designed location We booked a tasting with food. The food was good and the waiter made it a nice experience for us. Everything else is unfortunately rather a miss. The front desk lady was rather rude and so was a lot of the other staff, which made us feel not welcome. Reading through the other reviews this seems to be common at this place. It unfortunately makes a very bad first impression if you are being welcomed like that and does not fit the image this location wants to convey (again the person running the tasting was fun and engaged the rest the opposite)

It's a nice well kept trail adjacent to UC Davis. There are redwood trees planted there many years ago and plants with their name on a placard in front so you know what you're looking at. The "lake" they're building right now hasn't been completed so the creek is dirty and muddy but promises to be clear and full of life soon. It's adjacent to free parking on the weekends which is a plus and within walking distance to a Farmer's Market and restaurants.

The walking trail for the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden starts at the parking lot of the Davis Commons Shopping Center. It’s a great place to talk a walk before or after eating at one of the great restaurants at the Davis Commons Shopping Center. There is a paved trail that leads you along Putah Creek that runs through the UC Davis campus. You should be able to walk to the UC Davis Arboretum within a mile or so. It’s a peaceful place to walk, ride your bike or walk your dog. You will see plenty of wildlife and various plants/trees along your walk. This trip we probably only walked about 0.5 miles and turned back around as my mother-in-law was getting tired. If you are in Davis, you should stop by and take a stroll to enjoy nature.

Spent so long trying to figure out the parking. I didn't have time to even go in the arboretum like I planned. I called ahead of time downloaded the amp parking app. Before I went there was told if I had trouble going to headquarters I went in there was towed to park in any sea lot did that but that was for all day not hourly as I needed. So then I called the parking department they told me the amp doesn't do hourly right. By then I was hungry, got something to eat and tried to renew or pay for parking and couldn't do it. So I left without even going in the arboretum. The parking sucks. It's not user friendly. Very confusing and so frustrating. There's got to be a better way for visitors to go to the arboretum

Awesome University of California campus at Davis, the most Northern UC campus in the state. Home to the Aggies (started as an agricultural college and as opposed to UC Berkeley who are the townies) the campus is spread out and beautifully planned. The nearby college town of Davis is full of interesting student life and culture.

The girl who answered the phone did an amazing job. Her suggestion to reach out to the company in question was the correct move and I had missed that. Kudos to her. She's a good one.

The classes we had were fun, educational and very informative. Hopefully I’ll take more as the program I’m interested in offers quite a lot. Highly recommend!

I take 2 of my dogs to specialty care at the UCD Vet Med Teaching Hospital. Their care has been excellent. Today I used the outpatient pharmacy services. I needed the meds right away and picked them up within 48hrs. Sometimes the traffic is horrendous, but that's not the school's fault. They are providing services I cannot get anywhere else locally.

Lots of cheating, plagiarism, they don't honor Junior College Grades as part of GPA, overpriced - degree does nothing to open doors. Would return degree for refund and attend better institution. I don't recommend coming here. Student body / population is very rude and classist. At the end of the day this is a mediocre state college - not Ivy League. Go to ANOTHER School!

Provided water for the Davis Turkey Trot! It was such a wonderful day filled with runs for all ages and even furry pets. So glad that we got to share clean oollee water to all the participants! Thank you UC Davis !

I don't normally frequent any farmers market so I don't have much to compare to. I thought this one had lots of different booths. Was funny to see a booth even for flat earth people. Was surprised to see food prices as high or higher than my usual grocery store. I guess the idea is it's fresher. Was worth the visit but I won't be a regular.

Came here ok Saturdays and this place is amazing with lots of vendor selling produce, fruits and food . Highly recommended if you are in Davis on Wednesday or Saturday.

This is one of the best markets We've ever visited and we live in CA. Talk about different vendors from fruits, yummy food, organic drinks, delicious pastries, different freshly made cheeses, honey and wine! This was a really great treat as we got to savor different fruits and some great yummy foods.

The market was amazing. The produce selection was pretty broad with lots of vegetables and fruit. Many different types of good food to choose from if you're trying to just catch breakfast or lunch. Masks weren't required but there was a mix of people wearing and not wearing them.

The Central park authorities use the park to the fullest so that not an inch of land would be wasted. I would not call it a park anymore because it is more commercialized than any other parks i had seen before. Anyone can see that Farmer's Markets are now just about everywhere. They are on the parking lots of schools, colleges, parks, hospitals and many shopping centers. It seems we have a war against the chain supermarkets. As a result, Supermarkets' prices are now getting higher because they do not sell as much as they used to. Not everyone is buying from Farmer's Market. Majority are going to the supermarkets and have to pay now MORE. Farmer's market orginizers found a nice loophole to make nice profits renting these parking lots that are actually subsidized by local residents in forms of taxes. Don't park officials have to ask every local resident if they want the land they pay for to be used by someone to make money? We have enough stores with plenty of foods including organic foods. Why do we need even more, unless one side is determined to bankrupt another. Also, I believe it hurts financially all restaurants as well who need customers to survive and who pay a very high rent for the location near the park. Therefore, it is not fair. Why not to use the Central park land to build at least one affordable student dormitory. Wouldn't it be nicer?

Great, great place in Davis, California. Mainly on Saturday on spring and summer. You can relax end enjoy a picnic lunch or snacks on the grass. There is a variety of food, pastries, fruits and vegetables produced by local farmers. On Wednesdays you can have a great happy hours grabbing a great artesanal beer or even a good wine having concerts of local bands.

Free entrance.open only weekdays. There is a gift shop but it's kind of hidden. No restaurant. MANY bathrooms on every floor. About 1/2 the rooms aren't accessible but they have the others set up as they were for their their period theme. If you like this kind of stuff definitely worth visiting. Top floor has portrates of the previous governors of the state.

A must-visit when you’re in Sacramento! The California State Capitol Museum is beautifully preserved and full of history. The architecture is stunning, from the marble hallways to the grand dome, every corner tells a story. The exhibits are well curated, offering a fascinating look into California’s political and cultural past.

Its free and a lot of information if you choose a tour guide. It was lovely to hear the music as we walked in the Capitol; they are having musical selections which varies during the week. It was very nice visit. The capitol is beautiful and regal. Im glad they decided to keep it just as it was. The attendee (forgot her name: curly hair and beautiful spirit) at the gift shop was so welcoming and amazing 👏 🤩. We had a nice time

This is a really interesting space and could be worth a stop if you’re in town — it’s free to enter (brief security checkpoint accessible on 2 sides), and takes just a few minutes to cruise the palatial halls and get some breathtaking neoclassical architecture! The millwork is spectacular, with carved bears on the bannisters and rich filigree on nearly every surface. If you appreciate nothing else, the craftsmanship is next level. It’s almost perpetually under construction, so be aware that not all areas are always accessible and the space is actively being used for government functions — so be respectful around the more private sections while cruising around inside. The ground floor plays host to a few historical rooms preserved for your viewing pleasure, and a small exhibit or two depending on construction. The elevators are full of gorgeous art-deco metalwork and operate relatively quickly. You can also climb the elegant stairs on one side of the main rotunda. There’s a cute gift shop and restaurant in the basement as well. This is quite a structure. If you like epic structures you’ll probably enjoy a quick stop in as I mentioned before. Grounds outside are good for photo ops too.

Interesting free self guided walk through of historic portions of the Capitol building. Current exhibits focus on historical photography in and of California. Some impressive architecture and craftsmanship to be enjoyed.

One of the most beautiful capitals I've visited! There is a lot of construction going on currently but you can find paid street parking. They give tours. There's a robotic coffee shop nearby that's really neat too!

Being at the capitol felt meaningful as someone from Maine to visit the Capitol of another state. They have scheduled tours during the week, usually every hour from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon. You can sign up at the information desk right inside the rotunda. Downstairs there is a small museum with exhibits and a short film about the building's history. They also have a few restored offices that show how things looked in the past. It was good. I learned a lot. Outside is a large park area, about forty acres, with guided walks available on certain days. There are trees from all over the world, war memorials, and plaques that give a sense of the state's past. It felt quiet and informative, not flashy, but steady and respectful. More than anything, it made the idea of state government feel a little more real.

Phenomenal museum with works by world-class artists that are household names and also a treasure trove of pieces by regional and emerging creators. The price of admission is well worth its value and I spent a solid two hours here. I would have stayed longer save for my parking meter running out! I loved the modern art on view. The only downsides were that the layout is a little confusing with how the new and old buildings connect, and that the cafe closes a little early. Other than that, I definitely plan to visit Crocker Art Museum again!

During a heatwave that extended into the weekend, I was trying to think of a family activity/outing that would keep us cool. My 13 year old (who has a fondness for art & history) suggested that we visit the Crocker Art Museum. My wife and I hadn’t been in years (I believe the last time I visited was when I was in grade school), so we loved this idea and were excited! Unfortunately, this was a last minute decision, so we would only have 1.5 hours to enjoy before they closed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly employee at the desk who issued our tickets. We started at the French art exhibits, which if I’m being honest, I found to be boring and a bit depressing. However, this feeling quickly dissipated when we entered the modern art sections. One of my favorite pieces of artwork was “Empanadas Dulces/Sweet Turnovers;” something about seeing a multigenerational family coming together to accomplish one goal is beautiful to me. Overall, we enjoyed the Crocker Art Museum and are planning a return visit for the near future (this time around we’ll plan for a longer visit)!

The Crocker Art Museum is way bigger than we expected—there’s seriously so much to see. We didn’t even have enough time to finish the third floor! Every room is filled with beautiful artwork, from classic pieces to more modern installations. It’s the kind of place you could get lost in for hours. Definitely planning to come back soon to see the rest. Perfect spot for a date too—relaxing, inspiring, and easy to enjoy together.

Went Saturday, October 4th. Large museum, alot of different exhibit themes. 3 stories of old and modern art. Alot of native American memorabilia. Alot of polynesian ancient figurines. Alot of modern art, something pleasing for everyone. It takes a couple of hours to walkthrough all the exhibits. A great choice to spend a day, it's within walking distance to old town Sacramento.

We visited the railway museum right when it opened and were warmly greeted by the staff as they opened the doors. The ticket prices are quite affordable, and the museum itself is clean and well-maintained. The staff and volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable — they took time to explain the history and details of the trains on display. The museum features a wide variety of train exhibits, and there’s even a dedicated floor for kids to play with model trains and watch them move around, which was a fun highlight. Parking is available either at metered street spots or in a nearby garage, which costs around $20 per day. Overall, it was an enjoyable and educational experience for both adults and kids.

When seeing a museum of mechanical engineering i absolutely believe the people that restored and continue to maintain these locomotives and cars are beyond expertise. The staff is absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. Perfectly located in old sacramento for a whole day of fun.

Had a fantastic time at the California State Railroad Museum! As two adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, but we ended up having so much fun. The scavenger hunt was a great touch, and the exhibits are very interactive with full-size trains you can explore. The museum is well-maintained, with a lot to see and learn. Staff members are friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. A must-visit if you’re into museums or looking for a unique, engaging experience in Sacramento.

Probably one of the top five railroad museums I’ve been to in the country. Very well done, plane to read, and space for the little ones to run around too. Don’t miss the model trains and the kid play area on the second floor!

Went here on a Friday around 4pm not to crowed. Lots of history, great info, but you really need at least 2 hours not 1 hour we were speed walking, but still saw and read at least 85%. No senior or disabilities discount. May just have to go back.

Top notch experience for 1-90 years old. Real historic train carriages and locomotives on display with knowledgeable staff that will engage in interesting conversation. And that $12 per person fee is a steal which is less than half the price of nearly every museum nowadays! Second floor section is dedicated to model trains which brings smile to children. Highly recommended

Be prepared to have your mind blown! This place was a must to see with or without kids. First the cost of it was inexpensive to other museums. Child 6-17 was $6, 17+ was $12 free under 5. Interactive museums are truly the best way to learn and this was a well thought out museum. We also enjoyed that they had many old timers who knew all about the history and trains walking around as volunteers who clearly loved and enjoyed talking to kids and adults alike. The history museum is next door and was such a let down in comparison so maybe skip that one or see it first, before you go into the train museum.

The spandex weenies make this trail miserable, even though it is a multi-use trail. It is a beautiful trail for spending time outside and enjoying nature, not preparing for Tour de France. Speed limit is 15mph. Also, leashed dogs are permitted on the trail.

The people working here are Awsome! No problem taking care of transactions with a smile, even with the craziest of people! On the other hand, there was an employee of the casino who was behind me in line for fuel. She passed me and took the pump I was waiting for. I told her I was in line before her. She said “Ok I’ll move” then under her breath she said “after I pump my gas”. This is very non respectful of your patrons. Our farm buys A lot of diesel from you. Red or maroon Dodge Ram maybe 02-04..

Our second time there to see Willie Nelson and the Outlaw tour. Easy to drive to. Lots of parking. Expensive beer and merchandise. Exiting the parking lot during this last concert was horrendous. Go when the weather is moderate cause it gets super hot there. This year was 82º, not bad. Last year was 106º! That was way to hot.

Good food at a great value! very easy ingress and egress that’s clearly marked in the parking lot. One main point entry to venue allows attendees to form chaotic lines leading to animated interactions between fans. And if you’re lucky enough sit on an aisle near usher staff you’ll be treated to their loud conversations during the artist’s sets which in no way distracts from the performance.

My review is 4/5 because there was a constant hum of conversations throughout the Outlaw festival. I went to hear the music,, not to hear others talk and walk during the performances. Vendors were selling drinks and popcorn.

Great location for concert. We bought the premiere parking and it was easy getting in and parking. It was a little confusing getting to where security was, as I don't recall seeing signage. Line for restrooms were quick, and someone was in their cleaning and stocking the entire concert. Signage to seats was easy, and there were plenty of staff to assist. The only complaint would be when the concert was over, there weren't enough gates open, and everyone was pushing people to get out. Some were opening gates to get out, but staff would close them. Maybe have more gates open to get people out quicker. Did enjoy the concert.

Very ada friendly and have a water tower to cool off great but drinks are $27 cocktail vodka lemonade , food is pricey but worest is parking and way expensive and you still don't get up close for handicap when you pay for it so that sucks

The Venue itself was amazing and so were the staff. Low rating because I paid 140 dollars for reserved parking and not only was it a nightmare trying to find parking but once I got there, they told me that reserved parking was “full.” Don’t understand how you can reserve a spot and it’s not reserved. Secondly, I paid for three fast lane tickets and when we went through the fast lane line, they didn’t scan anything. Anyone can just walk through. Over 200 dollars spent, for nothing.

We went to see NKOTB on one of the hottest days of the year, and it really wasn't that bad. The concert was great for our daughters 1st big concert. They had soft serve in pouches, pretzels, and lemonade. Bathrooms were clean, and the venue overall was very clean. Parking was free, and getting in and out of the parking lot was easy. Great place to see a concert!👍

Some posting online says it had some cash poker table. It does not have poker. Maybe at one time it did, but that is no longer the case. The food although limited it slightly above average. The site can be misleading saying it has "table games" they electric digital machines. The craps is a electric image of dice. The only thing that seemed remotely like a table game was the roulette as it does have a actual wheel and ball with a camera. The down side is the roulette numbers only pay around 25-26 to 1. I'm assuming because the game offer this special bonus multiplier that I never seen hit. With all that be said I'm not a slot player but will play if that's that the only option. In my experience here at this casino that slots have a better than average pay back then I have experience at other casinos. If I'm in the area I would stop here again.

Was on an RV trip and stayed overnight in the free RV parking area. Had a great dinner in the restaurant. Service was prompt c and friendly. Fueled up at the on site convenience market. Great gas prices plus easy access for large and small rv's!! Will definitely stay there again!

We stayed last weekend for a visit to celebrate an early birthday, my spouse and I. We were able to get a room reservation and park our big rig truck and trailer safely overnight, in the oversize parking lot. We enjoyed the room in the lodge, it was very clean, quite, and so comfortable with ice cold air conditioning, and a large fantastic, and well appointed bathroom with a bathtub, with plenty of large fluffy bath towels! We ate twice at Jack's, the bourbon jam bacon hamburgers were so delicious, with both regular and sweet potato fries. The Cafe was also perfect for early morning espressos! We had fun gaming for hours and saw lots of guests winning all around us, and we shared in the excitement. It was also cool to be entered in the Sat Sept drawings with our players card, although we didn't win them. Kudos to host Kimberly! She met with us multiple times to explain questions we had about accruing players club points and to check on us. We even received a follow up phone call today, amazing! She is absolutely wonderful, and showed that she cared about our experience and visit, even though we are neither vip nor high rollers. Anyone who has the pleasure of her help and expertise will definitely feel like a winner!! Thank you so much, Calusa Casino Resort!

I have never been here before and, in fact, did not intend to come here this weekend. I am so glad I did! It's not a big place, but it is friendly and clean. The slots were new and there was a good variety. I did not go away a winner but I also did not go away a loser. The food is good although the little cafe is a bit overpriced. $3.50 for a box of Milk Duds! I can't wait to get back there.

I come here a lot because it's close, which is why it makes me sad to give it such a low rating. The waitresses, at least most of them will not even ask you if you want a drink or be polite to you unless they know you have money. I go there with my aunt all the time. And she's a high roller, because she's married to someone who owns a casino as well. They will fall all over her feet because she will tip them a $100 for a free soda, but they will look at me and only ask me if I want something if I'm with her, if I'm not with her, they will pass me up. So I tell her when I'm with her, "Don't tip anything for service for me. I'll get my own soda because they don't deserve a tip!" They know who they are that I'm speaking about. This place is also getting very expensive. You can't use your coupons for free food without paying more because they've raised the prices. It's terrible. Also, if you have free play, trust and believe you're not winning with your free play, they will suck all of that back and then some before you win a super small amount of money. A lot of the people that work on the floor are also rude. You don't even want to look at them because of the attitude you'll get back... rude. I have not given a review like this ever, or at least in a long time. I just can't get over how horrible this place has gotten.

Small but nice little casino. Bingo is good here. The outdoor lounge area with the fire pits are great to relax and have a drink. Rooms are good size.

Casino floor is clean , new machines, won some money! Went to jacks restaurant, wife had salmon which she liked, I ordered nachos, showed up cold, sent back, still not right, left hungry, how do you ruin nachos? Will gamble, won't eat. Also ordered 2 glasses of wine, they were in same style glass, 1 looked half as much as the other.

This place is great! Not too far from the city of Sacramento by car. A great place for bird watching and photography. Some small hiking paths and a visitor's center. It's $6 for the auto tour only but you can get an annual pass for $12. A worthwhile service of the federal government and a place worth protecting.

A fabulous bird refuge. It was high wind today so most of the birds were grounded, but we saw a large number of a big variety of ducks, geese and other waterfowl. I plan to come back in the fall migration season. The car loop is fabulous with great views and places to stop and stretch. Beautiful! Next time I'll comb the observation tower.

We took a day trip to the Colusa area to see the migrating waterfowl and birds of all kinds. Birds as far as your eyes can see in some places. There’s 5 preserves in the area. Most you can hike and/or drive through. Nice areas to view the wildlife. Beautiful!

Great place to do some birding. We took the auto tour and saw pelicans, grebes, stilts, Geese, shoveles, pheasants, jack rabbits, deer, kestrals, harriers, cormarants, warblers, and much more!

Beautiful area to visit in the winter. Home to a wide variety of migratory birds and other wildlife. We were lucky to see river otters and a badger. We also got to see a bald eagle which was pretty amazing. The auto tour is the highlight. The visitor center was closed and being repaired. The trail close to the visitor center was a nice walk but we did not see many birds or other wildlife on the walk.

Fabulous 6 mile auto tour right off highway 5. I understand there’s even more birds if you go in the fall, I went for the wildflowers and was not disappointed.

We love coming here and doing the car loop. Great place to view multiple different species of birds. Plenty of clean bathrooms and places to stretch your legs. New visitor center. Bought the annual pass.

Having been on beer tours all over the US, Sierra Nevada's remains one of the best. Informative, casual, and really lets you get into the mix of things more than others.

I meet with customers here a few times a year. The food is great! The staff always seem so happy and helpful. But you know, beer is involved, so I guess I would be happy all the time too! 😉

Best place for drink and lunch .

We had a blast doing the Still the One tour. The group was relatively smaller and led by a knowledgeable tour guide. We received a few beers on the tour, got an inside look at the rest of the brewery, and learned a lot! Our favorite part was drinking straight out of the tap with fresh beer only brewed about 3 days ago. We’ve done the local tour here but this is definitely worth the $25 walking away with a crowler, goodie bag, and a ride on the Time Machine!

I had a delicious lunch at their restaurant then took the brewery tour. We had Emily guide us through the brewery which started with a beer sample and she was very knowledgeable. The 45 min tour ends with beer also. I highly recommend this tour and lunch. 5 stars

Great tour! Fun to learn their history and rub and smell some actual hops! Beautiful, older, kettles from Germany there too. Great surprise tasting at the end! Restaurant on the grounds too.

It was a great tour. The tour guides were nice and answered all the questions anyone had. But you want to know why it's temporarily closed. Because some stupid peace of garbage burnt it to the ground. My grandma lives in Chico. I'm visiting her right now. When I drove past it, everything except the bricks was gone. ALL OF IT!!!!

Beautiful plantation style mansion right next to California State University Chico! Three guided tours a day, $6.00 per person! Due to a other commitment that we did not have the opportunity to visit, but hopefully there will be other opportunities to visit again!

I loved going to this mansion as a child. Though very saddened that it burned, it was very interesting to see it as it is now. More history lost.

Much better than I expected. Also, make sure you make reservations in advance! They were booked up when we went, but Murphy was kind enough to squeeze us in anyway. Murphy was fantastic! So much knowledge, and personal experience growing up here and watching the renovations progress. I can't think of anywhere else that you can get that much for $6!

Such a cool historic house! Tour guide was knowledgable and very friendly! My favorite part had to be the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. They all have tiny sinks! Beautiful & educational way to spend a saturday in Chico!

Beautiful mansion and park! I'm sure touring the house with a guide must be very interesting, it was closed at the time of our visit on a Sunday afternoon. We very much enjoyed wandering around the grounds.

Closed for construction, but has information plaques outside and tons of parking, lots of shade and trees to just enjoy the area. Wouldn’t mind going back to see the inside.

Lovely place for recreation. Theres lots of birds here so its good for birdwatching or casual walking, not as good for mountain biking

Such a beautiful park with tons of shaded areas and space for the family. During the summer they have lifeguards. There is a snack bar, restrooms for you to rinse off, a nice creek next to the pool and a toddler area (water is very low for kiddos to enjoy 🥰). Plenty of picnic tables and you have a park next to it plus plenty of hiking and paved trails

It's a beautiful day today and as the sun is beginning it's slow descent the bright and warm colors of summer, the sound of the creek rushing by me...it just feels like home. I would not want to live anywhere else on Earth but Chico, right her and right now...

A bit busy with kids, but such a nice area to picnic or lay in the grass and read a good book. Really happy I decided to venture out there today & I will definitely be heading back tomorrow for round 2!

Room and bathroom beautiful and so clean, the sheets and pillows white and smells clean, love it. Shampoo, conditioner ,body wash and really nice white clean towels ❤️ plus a coffee maker. The only problem was the noise from the top rooms, so next time we will ask for a room in the top floors 🤭. Thank you Rolling hills Casino and resort .

I am happy with the Fat burger inside. They have Trucker and RV parking 👍. They have a gas station. Always clean and stocked. The casino has fun games and I have always won when going. Bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a smaller casino from what I am used to but, it’s kinda a small town. I have not been to Rockin Brews yet but, I have eaten at the cafe and I was happy. You never know if you could be the next jackpot winner. If I win a jackpot, I will likely go to Rockin Brews Restaurant.

Clean, vibrant with plenty of machines and tables. Drink service was prompt and tasty. The air was strong with cigarette smoke as a con. Would stop by again!

Nice casino. Lots of games on an spacious floor, grab-&-go or sit-&-dine food choices as well as hotel room service accommodations available upon request, two separate hotel wings with pool access to hotel guests, huge parking lot, casino is located next door to a truck stop, RV Resort, gas station/convenience store (slots can even be found inside the mini market), hotel golf club with a huge grassy field, and even a rodeo ground for annual events, etc. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained casino, several large restroom facilities regularly attended to... everything you'd expect from a casino. I believe they recently upgraded their players card system to accommodate credit/debit cards directly on the machines, which is bitter sweet. Above all, positive experiences during my past visits. I look forward to going back again!

Wide variety of olive products such as oils, stuffed olives, jams and candies, cosmetics, tchotchkes and gifts. The free olive tasting bar is self-operated. Step right up to experience a variety of familiar and new flavors such as Beer, Texas Hot Chili, Garlic Stuffed, Almond Stuffed, Anchovy Stuffed, and more. Large, shady parking lot surrounded by olive trees.

Passing through from Oregon and seen this olive store that sells olives that are grown from near by trees and they had pretty good selection including olives marinated in beer. Also have Olive oil, you can even sample some of them both. There is also a small area here that sells burgers and sandwiches.

Great pit stop (pun intended) between Sacramento and Redding. There's an olive tasting bar, including olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Overall, while the grocery store itself has a lot to offer, our kids love the little cafe the most, which allows them to build their own burgers and indulge in really crispy tater tots.

This place is "olive overdose". Many olive varieties and specialty foods. Quality with simple ingredients make the flavors next level. The burgers are exceptional. The shakes are 5☆. I suggest you ask the clerk which one is their favorite. Can't go wrong

I stopped by because of all the signs along highway 5. The Olive Pit is amazing! All the different olives, and they have an olive tasting bar for you to try them. Stop by the café and try their Mufalatta burger or sandwich, they are delicious. Also they have a condiment bar to make sure you put on it what you like. Give this place a try, it is not expensive and the people working here are extremely nice.

Super fun to try new olives and oil. Clean and personable. Fun stop on a long drive. Bought the garlic olive oil and blue cheese stuffed spicy olives. Great gifts.

Right off interstate 5. Easy access going north or south. Nice sized parking lot. Plenty of items to choose from if you have time. The free samples are enjoyable and gives you an idea of what you might be looking for.

Huge store with a ton of museum quality displays. They’ve got a great selection of both rough and polished pieces. I could have spent hours (and several hundred dollars) here. Friendly and helpful staff. Can’t wait to come back!

The best place to get your specimens, slabs, rough, and supplies for your Lapidary needs and they do jewelry repair and cleaning and have a nice selection of jewelry. Everyone who works there is a mass of knowledge and very friendly a must see collection for anyone starting rockhound to experienced miner.

You definitely want to give yourself enough time to look through the museum and the store because it's filled with so many amazing rocks and fossils. The dark room in the museum section is so cool. My parents have purchased quite a few pieces of jewelry from Gaumers, and it's all beautiful. Seeing the store in person was really a treat. The jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced. The women who worked there were friendly and attentive as well. I will be making it a point to stop in every time I'm in Northern CA. Updated October 2023*- Gaumer's is still just as lovely and has added a new room within the museum area, which is a must-see.

When my dad was a kid he grew up in Red Bluff and played around at the Gaumer's gem shop. He learned a lot there from the family and he brought us up there when we went out to visit his side of our family. The ownere there were very nice and remembered him and were able to catch up. Their rock museum has many awesome educational examples of precious stones and ancient artifacts! They have several examples of Native American arrowheads, petrified wood, many mortars and pestles, as well as a display of old gold-mining equipment. They have a special dark room set up where you can shine different wavelength UV light onto reactive stones and see them glow, as well as a beautiful backlight display of slab agates and other kinds of stones that kids can look into detail in. We came with our younger cousin who seemed to really enjoy looking at all the stones. They also have many examples of precious stones sculptures from many different artistic traditions, cultures, and methods. Definitely a place to visit if you're going through to the mountains to learn about the terrain around Lassen, Shasta, or Tehama county in general.

We were just passing through and needed a place to stay, and this turned out to be one of the best casino experiences I’ve ever had. My wife and I opted for the romance package, and it was absolutely worth it. The free play alone covered the cost, and we were treated to a bottle of wine and beautifully romantic room decorations. The food was excellent—highly recommend the calzone, which was more than enough for both of us. The bars were lively, and the bartenders made the experience even better with their friendly service. We also took advantage of the pool and hot tub, which added a relaxing touch to our stay.

Win River Casino is a massive property with plenty of space both inside and out. Parking is plentiful and easy, which makes visiting stress-free from the start. The casino floor itself is very large, with rows of slot machines and table games that keep it busy and lively. One thing I appreciated was the attention to cleanliness-hand sanitizer stations and masks were available throughout the property. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. The connected hotel also makes it convenient for out-of-town guests, with clean and comfortable rooms just steps away from the gaming floor. That said, the smoke inside is definitely noticeable, which can be a drawback if you're sensitive to it. Like most casinos, the focus is heavily on slots and table games, so there isn't much beyond that in terms of entertainment variety. I was lucky enough to double my money while I was there, which made the visit more exciting, but I also realized casinos just aren't really my thing. Still, for anyone who enjoys gaming and wants a full-service experience with easy access, solid amenities, and helpful staff, Wind River delivers a good overall visit.

Honestly probably the worst experience gaming I've had. Tonight I am losing right out of the gate so im heading out an play one more machine on a 2.00 max bet for that game an it gives me a 7 free spin bonus and pays out 0.00!? On a max bet for a bonus??? Crazy its like this all the time here id go to corning if I could. Cleaner bathrooms better games and you can get your own drinks! Way better experience even when you loose!!

Slot options were good and food is good. Wished they had more food options. Rooms were clean but no security. A random person followed us to our floor and turn back when they saw us go into our room. Very scary. A lot of homeless outside and inside the casino. Many people sitting on slot machines not playing or with 1 dollar in the machine so that they can stay inside the casino. I don't recommend going there alone.

Nice well kept casino floors and great parking access easy to get in and out of as far as location but for some reason staff are not friendly and they r not traveler friendly dew to not allowing me or my family member to have or travel backpack that Carrie our medication and medical supplies and or hygiene with us. When we approached the front desk we were greated with additude and rude unnecessary comments like well this isn't navada or Arizona so because I mentioned that we live in Arizona trip state and travel to Vegas and that we were unaware of the RULES of the casino and we are not trying to piss off anyone and apologize for the inconvenience of us being there. I have no intention on going back would rather travel to corning casino where we r greated with smile and appreciation for being guests

Smaller casino but right off a main road in Redding. Parking was open in the first row when we went in the later afternoon. Had no problems getting drinks at our machines. Left with winnings. Didn't stay in the resort part just played some slots. Very clean and noticable security at the front door made it feel safe, like had we won just a tad over what we did security would have walked us to the car. Had a lot of fun here.

The rooms desperately need to be updated! And cleaned much better than they are! Our room smells like urine! We recommend avoiding the restaurant! Absolutely disgusting food! They served us spoiled coleslaw!
