Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is, overall, a nicely designed park that offers an interesting mix of thrill rides, family attractions, and animal exhibits – somewhere between a zoo and a theme park. 🎢🦓 The park is clean, well laid out, and has something for everyone. Up until about 5 PM, I had a really good time – great atmosphere, nice weather, and a fun day overall. One big plus was the Oktoberfest event that happened during my visit. 🍺 Of course, it doesn’t quite reach the level of a real German Oktoberfest, but I have to give them credit – they put a lot of effort into making it feel authentic with themed decorations, music, and matching food and beer. It was a really fun and well-done touch that added to the experience. 🎶🥨 And I say that as a German. Unfortunately, things went downhill later in the evening. I went across the street to check in at my hotel and tried to re-enter the park at 6:10 PM for the Halloween event, but was denied re-entry because of a park policy stating that guests can only re-enter until 6:00 PM. The park wasn’t even close to being full, so the rule felt unnecessary and inflexible. Even after speaking with a supervisor, there was no exception, no understanding, no real effort to help. That’s sadly the kind of poor customer service Six Flags is known for – sticking rigidly to rules instead of showing flexibility or basic guest consideration. It’s especially disappointing because I would have gladly spent more time (and money) in the park that evening, especially with the Halloween and Oktoberfest activities going on. On top of that, the ride operations were, as usual for Six Flags, very slow and inefficient – dispatches often took five to seven minutes per train, which kills the pacing of the day and causes unnecessary waits. Bottom line: A nice park overall, with an interesting mix of rides and animals and a well-organized Oktoberfest that showed real effort and heart. But the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left a bad impression. With better operations and a more guest-friendly attitude, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom could easily be a top-tier park – unfortunately, this visit left me with mixed feelings and just two stars.

Fright Fest was fun and the Halloween decorations were really good! They turned on fog machines as soon as it got dark and had scary characters walking around. My son had soo much fun it was like being in a real haunted graveyard. It was a long walk from the parking lot to get to entrance I suggest dropping people off by the front. They have great roller coasters. We rented a locker for $22 which was soo helpful. The average wait for all rides was 45 min to 2 hours so that was tough for a group of boys under 12 yo. If the lines were quicker I would give it 5/5. It's a long walk back to the parking lot.

I had a great time at Six Flags even though a lot of the reviews I see are negative. Good: - We got the FLASH Premium pass and it was absolutely the right call - we barely waited in line, and when the Batman ride opened at night we got on after about 15 min in line instead of 90 minutes - We went for the Fright Fest as well, and the mazes were well done! I liked the haunted mansion the best, club fear wasn't that great since it was very empty and not as many actors inside. The spooky vibes were great and the actors seemed to have a good time - My favorite rides were the Joker, Batman, and the Wonder Woman Lasso ride, that's definitely the longest ride. Superman was also high thrill. - The park wasn't super busy on a Saturday, and parking was easy as well. Very walkable - Dolphin show had cool tricks, but the talk track is definitely for kids Bad: - Food is really expensive, $20 for basically a single slice of pizza and salad - Gets really hot during the day, but cool during the night so bring layers Overall this was a really great experience and would come again

What a mighty park for its size! Good variety of roller coasters and friendly park staff. Lines are long as usual but if you can afford a flash pass it makes the day that much more enjoyable. The cool thing is they have a mini zoo in the back of the park. The animals were so cool to look at and offered a nice change to the loud and hectic front of the park.

Great park! Grab a flash pass if you're visiting for the day, they have some fantastic coasters that you'll want to ride multiple times! Scare Feat was meh, I wouldn't pay for any of the mazes again, but it was great to ride their iconic coasters at night.

It use.to be a great place for rides and animals, but it's depressing to see less animals and expensive to eat, perhaps they offer more over the summer. I went in late October, only offered the dolphin and walrus show, dolphin show was cute, the walrus show was boring. The aquarium is a joke, like 1 small shark, 1 or 2 nurse shark, a handful of big fish. The cheetahs were active though and plenty of them compared to other animals. A lunch of burger, fries and a drink for one person is 30! Funnel.fries were good but 17 bucks is crazy. They don't take cash

It's decent. Some rides gave me a headache and would not recommend. Food is decently price and around the same price you'd get at any other cedar fair parks. Their scare fest is really small and very wimpy than from what I've expected. But overall, their sea lion and dolphin shows were great!

This was quite a nice section of San Fran with the Ferry Building, the Port of San Fran and the markets / food sections. There's a couple of street shops too which had some unique items which was cool. The food markets are not too bad although some were closing up at 5pm on a weekday. There is a bit of homeless action going on down there though so whilst we didn't feel unsafe or anything - it's something to be aware of especially if you are tourists. I probably wouldn't be walking around at night which is a shame as it looks like it would be beautiful then. Walking there or catching the train is quite easy. There are ferries taking you to Oakland which we didn't do but looked worthwhile (we just couldn't find a reason worth going there). We ended up walking up The Embarcadero which was really nice and easy to walk. We nearly ended up all the way back at the Fisherman's Wharf in 30 minutes or so.

Beautiful place to walk around. The whole area is just really nice — lots of shops, lots of food, and plenty of spots to sit down and take in the views. It’s also super close to Pier 39, which makes exploring both really easy. I’d definitely come back again and spend more time here. Highly recommended.

My first time taken a ferry since I became an adult. It was incredible! The staff was super friendly i met Dj cheerful attitude has a way of brightening the room. His optimism and good humor create a more pleasant atmosphere for everyone around them. He has a welcoming smile."I have no doubt Dj will continue to be a positive influence in all his future endeavors." The ride was peaceful! The water was liberating! I'd be definitely,be riding the ferry more often.

The Ferry Building is a must-visit in San Francisco with so many great food options and local shops all under one roof. The farmers’ market is lively and full of fresh produce, and the views of the Bay Bridge make it extra special. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth the trip.

One of the best destinations in San Francisco! The Ferry Building has everything: restaurants, coffee shops, various types of stores, clean public bathrooms, and it's also a beautiful historic building- no charge to enter! 🏛️ Perfect spot for the thrice weekly farmers market, a fancy lunch, or grabbing a quick drink to sip while walking the lovely Embarcadero piers. 🌉 Don't forget that the F Market railcar goes right past, adding to the classic charm. 🚎 Lots of vegan options! 🌱

This place is dope! So many food stalls. On the water, great scenery, and a lot of options for shopping or relaxing. Highly recommend!

Overall, I liked everything, but the area around the building wasn't perfectly clean, and there were queues in the toilets, too, and they weren't very clean. Overall, I had a good impression, and of course, there were quite a lot of people everywhere.

Got to the ballpark early to see BP. The Redbirds were in town. The Giants fans were friendly. The staff at Oracle were some of the nicest people you would want to meet. Just about everyone was smiling as they asked if you needed anything. The views from anywhere in the park are amazing. San Francisco is truly reprinted throughout the ballpark. They even have a trolley car! Lol. Awesome. The Willie Mays statue is a thing of beauty. It was the 1st thing I searched out. Arguably the greatest player ever and was a better human being. Truly missed. Mr.National podcast had a great time and shall definitely return.

First Time at Oracle Park — Absolutely Stunning! ⚾️🌉 This was my first time watching a game at Oracle Park, and I’ve got to say — it’s probably the most beautiful stadium I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere, the views, and the energy were all incredible. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and the food options were top-notch — plenty of variety and great quality throughout the park. Everything from entering the stadium to finding our seats was smooth and convenient. The traffic flow getting in and out was surprisingly easy, nothing outside of the norm for a big event like this. Overall, it was an amazing experience watching the San Francisco Giants here. If you ever get the chance, Oracle Park is 100% worth the visit — easily one of the best stadium experiences out there! 🧡🖤

Oracle Park is one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country! The setting right by the bay is absolutely stunning, with amazing views of the water and the Bay Bridge. The atmosphere during games is electric, and the park is always clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The food selection is excellent from classic ballpark snacks to local favorites and everything feels fresh and well-prepared. The staff is friendly, and every seat offers a great view of the field. Whether you’re a baseball fan or just visiting for the views, Oracle Park is a must-see experience in San Francisco.

Best park in America. Views are incredible and there is no bad seat in this stadium. Night games have a magical feeling. And day games are fun to be next to the water. The food is amazing. They have options for everyone, and the popular item is the garlic bread crab sandwich. 10/10 dish. No better MLB stadium out there!

I love this place. Very fan friendly. There are all sorts of statues and plaques commemorating giants baseball heroes and milestones. you could come on an off day and just walk around the outside looking at those for awhile. Parking is kinda crazy though. If you can get a spot close to the stadium as early as you can online. Otherwise it's a quite a walk. Also look into taking the ferry over. It's much cheaper than parking and takes you right to the stadium!

Giants vs Yankees...This is a beautiful ballpark, and we watched a great baseball game, but the standout was the fabulous crab sandwich, on buttery sour dough, purchased from the stands behind the outfield. This stadium is beyond fan family friendly. The views of and from this stadium are amazing. One of the real highlights of attending a Giants game at Oracle Park is the fabulous (pricey) crab sandwich here at Crazy. Though the crab is real and great, and the bread is toasted perfectly with butter. We could only wish for less wind lol. But the great sandwich makes up for any small discomfort. Have a brew with it, and it ends up perfectly. 100% recommend!

Incredible stadium. I have gone to many games here and a concert and it’s always great. There is no bad seat, if you’re up high down low or by Levi’s landing it’s good anywhere. The food is yummy and just overall great. Also the giants are the best🥳

Free entrance.open only weekdays. There is a gift shop but it's kind of hidden. No restaurant. MANY bathrooms on every floor. About 1/2 the rooms aren't accessible but they have the others set up as they were for their their period theme. If you like this kind of stuff definitely worth visiting. Top floor has portrates of the previous governors of the state.

A must-visit when you’re in Sacramento! The California State Capitol Museum is beautifully preserved and full of history. The architecture is stunning, from the marble hallways to the grand dome, every corner tells a story. The exhibits are well curated, offering a fascinating look into California’s political and cultural past.

Its free and a lot of information if you choose a tour guide. It was lovely to hear the music as we walked in the Capitol; they are having musical selections which varies during the week. It was very nice visit. The capitol is beautiful and regal. Im glad they decided to keep it just as it was. The attendee (forgot her name: curly hair and beautiful spirit) at the gift shop was so welcoming and amazing 👏 🤩. We had a nice time

This is a really interesting space and could be worth a stop if you’re in town — it’s free to enter (brief security checkpoint accessible on 2 sides), and takes just a few minutes to cruise the palatial halls and get some breathtaking neoclassical architecture! The millwork is spectacular, with carved bears on the bannisters and rich filigree on nearly every surface. If you appreciate nothing else, the craftsmanship is next level. It’s almost perpetually under construction, so be aware that not all areas are always accessible and the space is actively being used for government functions — so be respectful around the more private sections while cruising around inside. The ground floor plays host to a few historical rooms preserved for your viewing pleasure, and a small exhibit or two depending on construction. The elevators are full of gorgeous art-deco metalwork and operate relatively quickly. You can also climb the elegant stairs on one side of the main rotunda. There’s a cute gift shop and restaurant in the basement as well. This is quite a structure. If you like epic structures you’ll probably enjoy a quick stop in as I mentioned before. Grounds outside are good for photo ops too.

Interesting free self guided walk through of historic portions of the Capitol building. Current exhibits focus on historical photography in and of California. Some impressive architecture and craftsmanship to be enjoyed.

One of the most beautiful capitals I've visited! There is a lot of construction going on currently but you can find paid street parking. They give tours. There's a robotic coffee shop nearby that's really neat too!

Being at the capitol felt meaningful as someone from Maine to visit the Capitol of another state. They have scheduled tours during the week, usually every hour from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon. You can sign up at the information desk right inside the rotunda. Downstairs there is a small museum with exhibits and a short film about the building's history. They also have a few restored offices that show how things looked in the past. It was good. I learned a lot. Outside is a large park area, about forty acres, with guided walks available on certain days. There are trees from all over the world, war memorials, and plaques that give a sense of the state's past. It felt quiet and informative, not flashy, but steady and respectful. More than anything, it made the idea of state government feel a little more real.

I just visited Stanford University, and it was an incredible experience. Walking through the Main Quad, visiting the Hoover Tower, exploring the Cantor Arts Center, and strolling around the Arizona Garden made the campus feel alive with history, art, and natural beauty. Every corner of Stanford inspires learning, creativity, and exploration—it’s a place I’ll never forget.

One of the top universities in the world and in the Ivy League university of the United States. It has a very distinct architecture that attracts a lot of visitors from around the globe. The campus is quite large and very pleasant to walk around on a weekend. There are plenty of tourist in the area along with the students as well. Plenty of historical significance of the buildings and signage around the area. There are many pictures spots in the campus. A nice place to visit.

Stanford University is one of the most beautiful and prestigious campuses in the U.S. We visited as a family and were amazed by the blend of historic architecture, open green spaces, and peaceful courtyards. The Main Quad, Hoover Tower, and Memorial Church are all must-sees. The campus is clean, well-organized, and perfect for walking or biking. Tip: Start at the Stanford Visitor Center for maps and tips, and wear comfortable shoes—it’s a large campus. Whether you’re a prospective student or just sightseeing, it’s an inspiring place to explore.

Stanford absolutely lives up to its reputation as one of the most gorgeous campuses in the US! The 8,000-acre grounds are stunning, starting from the iconic Palm Drive entrance lined with Canary Island palms. Hoover Tower is a must-do for $8 - the 360-degree views from the 14th floor observation deck overlooking the entire campus and Bay Area are incredible! The Main Quad with its Richardsonian Romanesque architecture is breathtaking, and Memorial Church is definitely worth stepping inside. The biggest surprise was the Cantor Arts Center being completely free with the world's second-largest Rodin sculpture collection outside of Paris - art lovers shouldn't miss it! Parking is coin-operated at $1.50/hour but free on weekends which is nice. They offer guided tours on weekdays (need to book ahead) but self-guided with the free map works great too, taking about 1-2 hours. I'd recommend visiting on weekdays for a more authentic academic atmosphere and fewer crowds. The whole campus feels like a beautiful park - no wonder so many tech leaders came from here!

Stanford University is such a beautiful and prestigious campus! It’s open to the public, and you can freely walk around and explore. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes since the campus is quite large. Make sure to visit the art museum too it’s full of fascinating history and definitely worth checking out

Such a beautiful campus, with many places to explore and walk around! The Stanford Oval is spectacular, with views of the main square, church, and roses forming the famous "S". We walked around the main square and Memorial Church, with were both pretty and amazing. The campus is very well kept, and there are many sculptures scattered around. Overall an amazing place to walk, explore, and attend for university!

Winchester mystery house is a must for anyone into the paranormal. The energy is so surreal inside the house. My daughter and I could feel and hear sounds no others could while on tour. The price is very affordable. If you visit California this is definitely something to see. The gardens are beautiful with wonders at every turn. One of the great California mysteries lies within these walls.

I have been coming to the Winchester house off randomly since the 1970s. The tours have morphed over the decades and are great. This is the first time we did a basement tour though. It was not worth the cost. All you really see is lots of bricks, concrete and low hanging pipes. The only thing of interest down there is the old boiler. The staff were great. We got there a couple of hours before our scheduled tour, and they nicely got us in an earlier tour.

Know this famous house for long. Finally be there. A bit different with I thought. Have to join in a tour group (around 15-20 ppl) to get in the house. Sarah was a tiny lady, so I guess the house was designed to fit her needs. All rooms are so small. Feel really packed with the group. Not a lot to see. Not scary. Good to know the history. Wish could have seen more due to the ticket price.

After travelling from the UK to visit, we were disappointed in a rushed and poor tour experience. Half of the group had barely time to look around a space before the tour guide moved on, and leaving half the group behind. We were then chided for being slow, as well as missing out on the information given for the next spot. It would have been nicer having the chance to explore alone. Everywhere was signposted, so it wasn’t hard to follow a route. The building is beautiful though, and worth a visit - just a shame about the tour experience.

The guided tours of the Winchester Mystery House are all fun and entertaining while you gain insight into the history of the house and the area. Our guides have always been fun! We went in early October when their Halloween themed night decorations were up which made it more spooky and fun. The "self guided" basement tour is a bit of a letdown now. Years ago we paid for a "guided tour" of the basement and stables. That was worth it. This year we added the extra $$ for the basement tour only to find it was self guided with a few plaques and some arrows on the ground. Take the tour but skip the basement add on and save some $$.

Saw the movie and didn’t know it was in SJ. Going to SJ every year and stayed about 10 blocks away. It’s amazed that it’s still standing and with an incredible story, especially ran by a woman. Really admired for what she had done for her staffs and the community. The house is very odd, weird and everything you can think off. But it had been keeping up well just like the stories behind it.

The Winchester Mystery House is absolutely fascinating! We had a wonderful time exploring all the strange features and learning the history. It was a great family outing - the kids were intrigued and enjoyed every unique detail of the house. Highly recommend it for a memorable experience!"

Had a really great time checking out the animals at the zoo. Been quite a few years since I was last here, but it definitely has a cool vibe. Not too hot for an August day but definitely has plenty of shade for when it did start warming up. Definitely recommend checking out the zoo is you're nearby.

I love coming here, the lion cubs a growing so fast! The food here is good, I enjoy the chicken stips at the African Safari Restaurant. Also the cleanest restrooms are located here at the African side. I made sure to get the Zoo souvenir cup for my fountain drink. Refills for the life of the cup are only $1! Yes just $1 for a 32oz refill! I really enjoy the animal chats, during which you can get up close to their training time! My favorite ones are the tiger and the sea lion talks! This is great for the whole family! Keep I mind if you have a EBT Card and can show a valid government ID that matches the name on the EBT Card you and 4 others can get in for just $5 each every Wensday! This can be a great savings for some! Please go and support our local zoo!

Great little zoo! You can feed the Giraffes, pet the sting rays, hang out with the butterflies, and see a lot of great animals! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly! The food at the Kopje spot wasn't very good though, expensive for cold and dry food. We had a great time and the weather was perfect!

This zoo was great! Good value and the atmosphere was great. The close proximity to some of the animals was outstanding as you weren't straining to look over a barrier to catch a glimpse of an animal. There was a good variety of animals and some I'd never even heard of before. There was some construction going on so we didn't get to see everything but it was still worth the price of admission. The staff we talked to were all very helpful, plenty of restrooms and benches as well as a good variety of food options. I'd say you're definitely going to get your money's worth. We'll be back for sure!

We loved the zoo boo lights and idea but trying to get in there was insane. We had to park so far away. They oversold the tickets. If I had known it was that crowded I would not have spent as much money as I did for tickets. The booths were set up very nicely and it was nice the reptile exhibit was open but most of it was just people networking with the parents. I want expecting to have have live advertising, which is nice if that was what you intended to go for I guess. We wanted to go for our kids, candy, and expecting more. The shows were overcrowded and there was nowhere to sit. We couldn't even see what was going on. It was nice to get out with the family and see the lights but I wouldn't do that ever again

We arrived at opening and there were no lines. We loved the giraffe feeding experience on the lower level. Definitely worth the extra $15. The kids enjoyed stingray bay. It took extra efforts to get their hands low enough into the water to actually touch them. The stingrays seemed to swim right towards us and breach a little then dive just out of their reach! There is lots of shade in the Asia exhibit which provided a nice break as the day heated up. The park was very clean, as were the restrooms. The dining experience in Africa was definitely worth it. There were lots of options for traditional kid friendly meals as well as light sandwiches, salads and vegetarian options. While we didn't use it, there is a mobile app so you can order ahead and just go in and grab your food. Finally, bring an extra set of clothes for the kids. The splash park was a perfect way to cool off and the kids LOVED it! The only hiccup we had was the Park Mobile App required for parking. I entered the lot number but the transaction would not process due to lack of internet access. As a result, we ended up with a parking ticket for $40 instead of the $6 if the app was working. It ended the day on a little bit of a sour note. Not necessarily the fault of the Zoo, more of Park Mobile experience that happens in a number of locations.

If you go often, look into the family membership. It's a great value. I suggest walking straight to the back of the zoo where the Elephants or Giraffes are, and then working your way forward to the entrance/exit area. Make sure you visit stingray bay, and the reptile room.

It’s a pretty nice outdoor outlet mall with a good mix of stores to shop from, even though a few have moved out recently. The food court isn’t anything to get excited about, but luckily there are better spots to eat nearby like Finney’s and a couple of other restaurants. It’s a good place to walk around, especially on a nice day, and you can usually find some decent deals too.

It’s really hard to find parking on the weekends. They need more maps. This place is huge. And they keep adding on all the time. Bring water and sunscreen screen. Stay for the day. We had lunch at. Nice restaurant that serves Pancakes all day. We had a salad it was huge. We split it my grandson had a burger n Fries . Look so good !! Go during the week if you can. That’s what we did. Found lots of parking 😎😊👍

Great place to shop at, they have great prices and great selections

This is the best outlet I have ever been to in the United States. It is not only large in size, has many shops, and has a lot of parking spaces. The sales tax in this area is also relatively low, so consumption is naturally more economical. There are so many types of stores that it’s really amazing. In addition, the store is very large and feels very comfortable to browse. During peak shopping seasons like Black Friday, the discounts on products are surprisingly attractive. For example, I saw Armani offered 50% off with an extra 30% off. Honestly, there is nothing more exciting than buying your favorite items at an unexpectedly low price.

All outlets were having Sales! Best time for shopping. Adidas rocks! 5 items under 100. I would recommend. Lots of parking.

Wow! What a terrific outlet mall and it's huge. Great stores including American Eagle outlet, Guess, Michael Khor, Banana Republic, Levi Strauss and so much more. A great please to walk and get your steps in while shopping for good deals and selection. The customer service is stellar and they have a food court and a few restaurants. Highly recommended

Best premium brands at one place with discounted rates

I recently had a rare and wonderful opportunity to visit this inspiring and educational site with two good friends What an incredible place! The library is tucked back into the hills of Simi Valley with breathtaking views of beautiful Eastern Ventura County. Upon entering the premises of the Ronald Reagan Library, I had the special opportunity to view the Scrolls. Very informative and educational . The docents and the staff at the Library did an incredible job of making me feel welcomed. The Library is also a tribute to a wonderful and great human being, Ronald Reagan. There is a large gift shop as well as a cafeteria that has a pretty good selection of burgers, pizzas and salad. I had a delicious hamburger outside and had the wonderful opportunity to dine outside overlooking the hills of Eastern Ventura County. If you ever have a chance to visit the Ronald Reagan Library, please do, you won’t regret it.

What an amazing experience! We came specifically for the Deas Sea Scroll exhibit while it was here. And it did not disappoint. But for that matter the all of the exhibits throughout the facility we're great. Getting to walk through the Air Force 1 display was pretty cool. I would absolutely recommend a visit!

I am glad I bought the year long pass & I recommend it to anyone that can make the visit twice or that plans a visit to any of the other Presidential libraries. My first trip here was mostly visiting their temporary exhibit but I plan to make another trip this month. I love how the exhibits are set up in different rooms and it is like walking through a timeliness of Reagans life. Getting the opportunity to walk onto Airforce One was a highlight of this trip. Make sure your phone is charged if you take a lot of pictures. 😀

First visit and the experience was amazing in several different ways. The extensive exhibits on the life of the president and the political moments during his terms in office are thorough and well documented. Since it is his presidential library, there are very few references to negative decisions made during his years in office including long term effects of economic decisions. The aircraft exhibits for Air Force One are stunning and the tour of the aircraft is excellent, although I found the design of that portion of the exhibit space to be confusing and difficult to find the exit path from the bottom level of the aircraft exhibits.

Never been to a presidential library before. Learned about a former president. Walked through Air Force One and Marine One. Experienced history in the best way. Do something different and go see a presidential library if there is one near you.

While visiting LA this was a must visit. We spent close to 3 hours and could have spent even more. Make sure to bring your Presidential passport to get it stamped. Wonderful place and really honors the legacy of in my opinion one of the best presidents ever.

Such a beautiful library with great exhibits (Dead Sea Scrolls now through beginning of Sept 2025)! Amazing scenery! My favorite is the Oval Office and Air Force One. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and docents as well! There’s a reason why this is the most visited presidential library - a real must-see!!!!

Amazing park. So many fun coasters and rides to choose from. The themes of the rides are phenomenal and match perfectly with the park. The food is great and I recommend buying the day pass and the refillable water bottle, especially on the warmer days. The funnel cake at the entrance is to die for. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, funnel cakes I've ever had. Depending on the day and time, some rides may be an hour or more wait time. However, during the first couple hours after the park opens and before it closes, the ride times go down exponentially.

Best park I have ever been to. I got to race a car and then got my spine broken on a wooden coaster right after. Then I failed the riddlers riddle so I had to stand up on his ride then I wondered why the train wont stop on Wonder Women (seriously guys like, it dosent even stop at the loading station so you have to jump in and hope you lock in in time) but I rode it like 6 or 7 times anyways. Then Batman turned me upside down and in the procces I got kidnapped by Lex Luther and got dropped from 400 feet onto the biggest pendulum ride in the world. As I stumbled away I suddendly got a green cup that let me get a free refill. Idk what that ment so I stepped onto a orange coaster because I thought there would be some Fanta there but instead it made me Scream on Scream. After that I tried something else that was orange and instead got strapped onto a ride that used to hold the title for worlds tallest ride and into a tunnel on Goliath. Ready to give up hope I sit in a nice green colored seat... only to race a blue coaster train in Teisted Collosis. When I thought the ride was over it faked me out and went for a 2nd loop around the track. Then I spotted a coaster with a loop and I remembered something, "This is a great begginer coaster called the New Revolution, to get a good warmup in you should ride this ride to eliminate the fear of hights" (Random Youtuber). So I step on and instead i get a launch at 80 mph while hearing "Wait I forgot the shoulder straps" and got put into the worlds highest top hat loop on Full Throttle. I later found out what a top hat loop was when i went on top of the loop into a near vertical 160 ft drop at the end. By then I found a cool red coaster called Viper, after mistaking it for a Coca Cola (its an honest mistake anyone can make) I broke my neck in 12 deffrent locations (please dont ride it it will hurt, goos layout though a refurbishment would be great for it) It started to get dark so I got into line for something called Tangy since I thought it was a food center for tangy foods. Instead I got on a ride where I hung allmost 200ft above the air and went on the worlds biggest pretsal loop. Then I thought I found the exit. But then I got strapped into a ride. After all the rides I went on that day I knew this cant be much worse. My first tip off that it was worse was when the train started to move backwards out the station. After reaching the peak at around 200ft I go on the first drop backwards. After screaming my lungs out the train bobs up and turns out that was a 10 ft dip. Then music starts playing and I fall backwards at 200 ft while doing a backflip at a 90° straight down angle then forced into a 180ft tall raven loop and doing a turn to see the whole park lit up. Then I do a flip again and get blazed with flamethrowers on a smaller loop before flipping again and pulling into the station. It was so good I got everything in the store related to it (I dont have pictures of it right now but it wasent a lot just a patch and a shirt) and rode it again because that was the best experience in my life. Then I finally exited and I was sad because even though every ride sounded like some sort of extreme tourture you would go through for commiting a horrible crime... it was still fun in the end. 67/10, I will be coming back here as soon as possible to ride X2 again. Cant wait to see what else you guys cook up. Thanks :).

I’ve been to Magic Mountain twice now, and omg I love it so much. we started with x2, so we saved a lot on waiting in lines & were able to try every ride in the park. my fav rides here are x2, tatsu, twisted collusus & wonder woman. twisted collusus is so fun that we did it 4x a day. x2 at night is something i think everyone should experience because the views are actually immaculate🫶🏽 tatsu🐉 is INSANELY fun too. dueling on twisted is a-ma-zing🎢 all rides here are fun & there are so many options to choose from! the only ride i didn’t like was viper bc the loops are just not fun, but besides that, the park is amazing.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is an absolute blast from start to finish. The park is packed with energy, tons of rides, and plenty of spots to chill between thrills. The standout for me was Wonder Woman — easily the best ride of the day. Fast, smooth, and totally worth any wait. Whether you’re going with family or a group of friends, it makes for a perfect day trip. The mix of big coasters, fun themed areas, and general “let’s-just-have-a-good-time” vibes really comes together. If you’re looking for a full day of fun, this park delivers.

Forever a classic, BEST amusement park for thrills! My son's friends invited him to Six Flags for his birthday and I got to be the lucky parent to drive them there. My 9 year old daughter and I took advantage of making it a mommy and daughter date while the others had their own fun. The lines were surprisingly short. The most we waited was maybe 35 minutes. We were able to get on 15 rides! (Loved the app for wait time). The staff was attentive with thorough cart check, which made me feel safe in high speed roller coasters of its stature. For $32 and some change in got ALL my park pictures digitally. Which also included video clips of the coasters before the actual picture capture. One of my best experiences at Six Flags.

This beach is a nice and large beach with many tourist attractions along it's length like Muscle Beach and the Pier. It is often crowded, and if you dont come in from the bike path, parking is really tough. The views are nice though, and there is a bikeway along the entire length of the beach.

Beautiful ! Plenty of parking and. not free I paid $15 so....plan your trip Wisely. The beach is really nice and it's a little bit of a hike from the parking to waters edge. Come prepared to walk a bit. Also, choose your bike rental wisely too. I paid $95+ tax for a bike for a good 4hrs. Come to find out there were cheaper options.

I’ve lived in California most of my life, but finally took the time to spend a full Saturday at Santa Monica State Beach—and I gotta say, it’s got a lot going for it. The views are honestly hard to beat, especially if you get there a bit earlier before the crowd rolls in. I parked way down past the pier because, man, the parking lots right by the sand are pretty expensive and fill up fast. You’ll have a little walk, but I didn’t mind—actually kind of enjoyed checking out the local businesses on the way. Once I hit the sand, it was nice and clean, no trash around, and plenty of space to toss a frisbee or just chill. Brought my own towel and umbrella—recommend doing that because rentals are nuts. I ended up near a volleyball game for a bit, and the people playing were friendly enough to let me jump in for a round. Water was cold (like, freezing at first), but after the first thirty seconds you get used to it. I’m not a super swimmer, but the waves were manageable, and lifeguards were on point. Took a walk up to the pier, which is honestly worth the trip whether you’re first-timer or local. Tons of food stands and little shops—got a burger that was solid but overpriced, but so is everything around here. Roller coaster was fun, arcade is slightly run down but still gives you that old-school vibe. Ran into some street performers who were surprisingly legit, and ended up watching a skate demo near the boardwalk. Annoyances? For sure. Restrooms could use a serious deep clean, and if you’re like me and try to avoid public bathrooms, be prepared—most days they’re kind of gnarly by noon. Also, traffic out of Santa Monica at sunset was a joke. Took me 40 minutes to get onto the freeway. Would’ve been nice if cops helped direct more, since lots of folks just stand around blocking the crosswalks and it gets messy. Still, all things considered, it was a killer day. Beach, water, people-watching, and just hanging out with friends with the ocean right there—hard to complain. Deducting a star mainly for the parking and those restrooms but, honestly, I’ll be back. If you can roll with big crowds and keep your expectations set, Santa Monica State Beach delivers the classic SoCal experience.

We can say we walked the pier. It was a bit busy and there were people fishing. Enjoyed seeing the sights looking out from the end of the pier. We didn't go to the amusement park but the kids would really enjoy it i'm sure. Lots of places to eat and drink there.

The Santa Monica Pier is such an active and lively place — there’s always something going on! You’ll see people preaching the gospel, families grabbing food, crowds waiting in line for rides, and vendors selling everything from snacks to souvenirs. Toward the back of the pier, there’s even a store offering discounted Santa Monica merchandise, plus a restaurant that’s relatively affordable compared to other beachside spots. Before you even enter the pier, you’ll notice a cool boat and dragon display. When you step onto the boat and pedal, it makes mist come out of the dragon’s nose — super neat and a fun surprise for kids and adults alike! One thing to keep in mind: there are no foot-washing stations nearby. So if you spend time in the sand, just know your feet might stay sandy for a while. There’s also a workout area if you want to burn some energy or just enjoy the fun beach fitness vibes. Overall, this is definitely a full-day experience and a great spot for family fun. You can tell the management keeps things running smoothly because the whole area feels organized and clean despite the constant crowd. Whether you’re taking photos, grabbing funnel cake, riding the Ferris wheel, or just sitting by the water, it’s pure good vibes all around. Santa Monica Pier was nice to see once, but nothing too special. It’s a classic boardwalk vibe, but if I had to choose between here and Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, I’d pick Rehoboth. We visited in November, so parking was easy and only $7. The water was cold, as expected that time of year, but it was still a beautiful, sunny day and a fun quick stop.

Enjoyed a nice walk around the pier. Caught the walk before some rain, but that made for a cool breeze and minimal people. A few spots were open along rhe pier but nothing too exciting. All in all made for a good scenic view, a comfortable walk and a location visit checked off. Oh and apparently the seagulls dont mess around.... look at my picture of the seagulls ;p

Nice to walk around and lots of people from all backgrounds. We were entertained and were able to take lots of photos. Having Pacific Park in the pier was cool. We went there with an 8month old baby and found it a bit hard to navigate as pier itself is not pram-friendly and couldnt find any family rooms. If there were, I wish there was signage.

We went on a Sunday in late October. There were minimal lines to get on the rides and the weather was nice and cool. Got to ride all of the rides, enjoy the studio tour, have lunch, a few snacks, and enjoy our time together. We definitely will be back. Keep in mind that the park closes early during the Hollywood Horror Night season & that is a separate entrance fee.

PERFECT 2-Day Weekday Trip - We Did It ALL! Just got back from a fantastic 2-day trip to Universal Studios, and going on a weekday was the absolute best decision! The crowds were so much more manageable than on weekends. We were able to ride every single major attraction, some of them even two or three times without breaking a sweat. The attention to detail here is incredible. From the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (butterbeer is a must-try!) to the mind-blowing Studio Tour and the intense Jurassic World ride, every area was immersive and so much fun. The new Super Nintendo World is a total game-changer, it feels like you've literally jumped into the video game. If you can swing it, I 100% recommend the 2-day weekday strategy. It felt relaxed, we saw everything we wanted, and it was worth every single penny. An unforgettable experience!

It was great! We purchased the daily express pass, and within 6 hours, we completed all the rides, including the studio tour. We were a group of four, and we had a blast. We went on a Saturday. The park was not really busy, and the weather was fantastic (74°F). Even the parking was easy; we parked in the general parking area, which cost $35, and the walking distance was not bad. Of course, the whole cost of the day was high, but we had a lot of fun and no regrets.

Universal Studios is an incredibly fun and well-designed park with tons to enjoy. The rides are exciting, immersive, and full of great special effects—definitely a highlight of the visit. The themed areas are impressive, and it’s easy to spend the whole day exploring without getting bored. The only downsides are the long lines during peak hours and the higher prices for food and drinks, which can add up quickly. Even so, the overall experience is fantastic. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is lively, and the park offers something for all ages.

A great park. A lot of fun to visit. The wizarding world is fun if you're into Harry Potter, and the whole park has some great rides. My son loved Nintendo world. He had a great time on the Mario Kart ride, and we got him a power band so he could play all the interactive stuff. I really enjoyed the backlot tour, and seeing some of the sets and locations from Hollywood History. Overall, this was a one-day park for our family. We had a fun day, and we enjoyed it, but more than one day would have been too much. Be warned that you should check the hours before you visit. Some days it opens at 8, some days it opens at 10.

This place has grown since i last visited and all for the better. So worth the price of admission and can't wait to go back. The Simpsons, Harry Potter, Nintendo, Transformers, Jurassic World; where can ya go wrong? Harry Potter and Nintendo was the highlights attractions and loads of time could be spend there. Can't wait to see the new coaster in play, looks amazing!

I took these photos from the side of the Griffith Observatory. My zoom isn’t the best 😬. Staying till after sunset, I don’t know why but I thought the sign illuminated - it didn’t. It would be good to see it glow, even if just for a short period of time. I am not sure if you can get nearer but google maps gave me this location. Enjoy. I visited the Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, and it was an unforgettable experience! The drive through Griffith Park was scenic, and the panoramic view of the city from the top was absolutely stunning. Seeing the iconic white letters up felt surreal — a true symbol of LA’s magic. I recommend going early in the morning or near sunset to avoid crowds and catch the best light for photos. A must-visit spot for anyone in Los Angeles!

Love the Hollywood Sign. The view was amazing.. 🫶🏼 Just make sure you parked your car before you arrive your destination. Because it hard to find parking when you get closer to the sing. Also make sure you wear comfortable shoes 🥲😃 You will need to walk a little bit

The Hollywood Sign is definitely a must-see when you’re in LA! It’s such an iconic spot, and seeing it up close feels unreal. I walked all the way to Lake Hollywood Park, which is an easier route it took me around 40 minutes, and it was totally worth it. The view from there is amazing, especially during sunset so gorgeous and peaceful! It’s a great spot to relax, take photos, and just enjoy the LA vibes.

What can I say that hasn’t already been covered? The views are majestic, the hike is tough but enjoyable. And the atmosphere is just great.

An absolute must-see in LA! We visited on a clear weekday afternoon and it was an unforgettable experience. The views of the Hollywood Sign and the sprawling LA basin are simply breathtaking, definitely bring your camera! We explored the free exhibits inside which were both fun and educational, perfect for all ages. But the real highlight was staying until sunset. Watching the city lights begin to twinkle on as the sky turned orange was pure magic. The atmosphere was so peaceful, with everyone just soaking in the incredible scenery. The best part? Admission to the grounds and exhibits is free, which is amazing for a landmark of this caliber. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it's absolutely worth the effort, you can also choose public transit to get there! Whether you're a tourist or a local, the Griffith Observatory offers a perfect blend of science, nature, and iconic views. A true Los Angeles gem!

The view was beautiful from the roof of the observatory. You can see the whole city of Los Angeles as well as the Hollywood sign on the mountain. There is a telescope structure that you can carry in with no charge. You can see the telescope inside, and the roof of that telescope structure can spin, so the telescope goes through the whole roof, which is really cool. I would suggest walking around the rooftop and having a good look at that mountain and also the city from above. The weather is good. You can also see the downtown Los Angeles from far away. Transportation is simple. You can either drive there and pay $10 for car parking, or take a bus.

I visited the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, and it was an incredible experience! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning — you can see the entire city skyline, the Hollywood Sign, and on a clear night, a sky full of stars. Inside, the giant pendulum is mesmerizing to watch as it marks the Earth’s rotation, and the telescopes are a real highlight — especially the public telescope on the rooftop, where you can see the moon and planets up close. The exhibits are fascinating, the atmosphere is inspiring, and the sunset view is unforgettable. A must-visit landmark for anyone exploring LA!

After living in LA for 9+ years I've finally decided to go inside this building. I had always view this place as a tourist trap; was I right? Yes. But it has its charms. The view of La is amazing. This place is filled with international tourists. The line to the main telescope is very long and may or may not worth the wait. The parking situation during peak is incredibly bad. Highly recommend to park below and hike up if you don't mind a bit exercise. Great place to take a date.

In my almost 7 years of living here in SoCal (moved from Florida in March of 2019), I've had the pleasure of witnessing the splendor of this great Observatory in person several times (at least 3 or 4 times). If it's your first time checking it out, your best bet is to undertake the Ferndell Nature Trail (you can Google Map that name, or you can also put 2333 Fern Dell Dr, Hollywood, CA and you should be able to have the precise address on where to drive to). Entering Griffith Park from the south corner of Los Feliz Blvd and Fern Dell Drive will give you plenty of street parking options. Then the actual trail is about 1/4 of a mile up (sloped on certain areas) and 1/4 of a LOT EASIER mile down (sloped down, so gravity helps a lot). Griffith Observatory has a lot of free Exhibits, including the Foucault pendulum, a Tesla Coil, and several Halls displaying how telescopes work, how they have progressed over the years, technology-wise, and lots of exhibits about celestial skies. It's an incredibly rich and fulfilling experience, especially if you have family in town and want to show them one of the highlights of L.A. This observatory was also featured in Rebel Without A Cause, so a bust in honor of James Dean is on the West side of the observatory. 10/10 experience. Will definitely be back.

We were visiting LA for the first time this summer and this was on our list of main attractions. Some say the views are what makes this place a destination to visit, I would say its because of GTA V. Anyways, glad we came, super busy and packed (as expected). We visited towards the evening to catch the sunset. Parking can definitely be a hassle but we got lucky and found a spot in the parking located at this location. We werent sure if food was allowed but it appears people take food an have picnics. Not sure if thats allowed or they just don't tell you anything (and it's not allowed). Anyways, recommend coming here if you are a tourist, and locals should be proud they have such nice locations to go on a date or simply to catch views of the city.

It was amazing place for adults and children. And free!!! You will see very much model sytem related with universe such as seasons, solar sytem order and their speed… Btw you can see a real telescope at the roof but you will probably wait al least 20-30 min. And of the story you can see amazing LA view at night. Some exhibits need extra payment but most of the area visiting is free. You give at least half day for this place.

I had a great experience here. I visited on a weekend and everything was smooth, no wait to get in, and the staff were friendly and organized. The exhibits are beautiful, especially the large tanks with sharks, rays, and colorful tropical fish. The lighting and layout really make the underwater scenes feel alive. I’m also proud to support my local aquarium. Buying a ticket here isn’t just admission, it helps fund research, rescues, rehabilitation, and release programs for animals from the tropical rainforest all the way to the deep sea. Knowing my visit plays a small part in protecting and caring for marine life makes the experience even more meaningful. This is an amazing place for families, kids, and anyone who loves nature and ocean life. It’s relaxing, educational, and easy to explore at your own pace. I definitely recommend buying tickets in advance to make the trip smooth and stress-free. Overall, a fun, memorable, and purposeful visit. I’d happily come back again.

Spent around 3 to 4 hours to soak in all the highlights without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Interactive experiences like the touch tanks and the Lorikeet Forest made the day memorable—actually getting to feed birds and feel sea creatures up close was hands-down awesome. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and staff are always happy to chat and share fun facts about the animals

I’d like to thank some staff members specifically for their dedication to education and incredible service skills. Manny and America at the sea otters show did an incredible job! Sue and Sue’s partner (I’m sorry I forgot her name) in the sea lion-seal show also did a really nice job educating and entertaining us. One staff member that deserves extra recognition is David. David stood next to me for about 20 minutes at one of the touch areas and took me around - giving facts on animals and finding the best ones to touch. He was so kind and even told me about the sea otter show. Clearly the staff is passionate about the work they do. This aquarium is accredited AND the shows are just during feeding time (what a good way to give people a show while respecting the animals). I wish I lived her cuz I would come all the time. Try to get in as soon as it opens to avoid the large crowds from field trips if you go during the week.

Amazing beautiful aquarium, bring good shoes it's a lot of walking. I loved not just the beauty of the place but how welcoming it is to kids. My son loved the coloring, the lights and all the different touch tanks. 10/10 would come back again!

A delightful experience for about the third of the face value of a ticket to Sea World. You have touch pools for sting rays, sharks, starfish, and even jelly fish. There's a sea lion show that's actually pretty good. Parking is only $8 with validation. If your kids are 'young' enough or you just want to see another aquarium, you can totally go here. Sea World is obviously bigger and has more stuff to see, but it's a few hours south and costs more.

The tickets were a bit pricey (~ $45/adult) and I spent almost $8 on a single can of diet coke, but it was still a fun time. Lots to see, but very busy on the weekend. The parking garage was $8 and we had to go to the 4th floor to find a spot. It took us (2 people) about 2.5 hours to get through everything (leisurely taking pictures along the way). There's a cafe of you feel like getting something to eat (we didn't, so I don't know if the foods any good). My favorite part was seeing to the jellies and the big Zebra Sharks. Never seen a Zebra shark before, but man are they cool! Apparently, they breed them there as there was a tank full of eggs. Definitely recommend going and supporting them.

I've recently got myself a membership and the Aquarium has been my place to go whenever I want to distract myself for a little. I tend to go on weekday mornings as there isn't much people in the first hour. It's an excellent place to see and learn about marine life. I've even gone as far as downloading the app and learn more about the aquatic and non-aquatic creatures. It's also a great place to relax and just enjoy the cold, aquatic ambient (whenever it's not too busy.)

We stayed overnight in a glorious museum. The Queen Mary is enchanting from the moment you step on board. Beautiful top deck views of the city. A step back in time during the opulence of cruising. One day was not enough time to explore all the history. The tour into the engine room was fascinating. Our stateroom was comfortable for a ships stateroom. The walls are very thin so be prepared. Overall I'd most definitely stay again.

This was an unexpected stop on our vacation, but it was well worth it. My daughter wanted to go for the haunted history. I like the history of The Queen Mary, so a win-win for both of us. We, however, did not get to do the haunted tour due to it being booked. We, however, did get to tour the boat on our own . There are places to sit and watch movies on the war history, and the nice people in the shops, as well as at check-in, are more than happy to tell you about the haunted history that was also very interesting. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. However, it is well worth it. The boat and rooms are as close as it looked 90 years ago as it should be . We do plan on visiting again and staying longer to take it all in. There is just so much history to take in, and such a large ship one night is just not enough. Staff and even other visitors are just so friendly. Anyone you spoke with would share their experience and wanted to make sure we were having the same good time . It was great.

If you are looking for an historical experience, the Queen Mary should probably be on your bucket list. Our room was large, clean, and fairly comfortable. Keep in mind that this is an OLD ship that has been preserved as much as possible. Because of its historical standing, you cannot adjust room temperature. You can get a fan or an extra blanket. It was fine for us. It was nice to have a place to stay so close to the Carnival Cruise Terminal. We dined on property and enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner. We did not participate in any of the tours, but would consider it for another time. Lastly, I want to mention the great staff. The front desk staff were very nice, but the Bell Boys were fabulous!

This was the perfect stay for a night before leaving on a cruise. I loved the exhibits of the Queen Mary. It is preserved so well, it is easy to imagine being a passenger in its golden age. From the Bridge Exhibit to the Isolation Ward, the exhibits give an excellent representation of a day on the Queen Mary. We loved the historical staterooms, which was much larger than expected. The best part was the free shuttle to the cruise port for our cruise.

This was my first visit to the Queen Mary and what a time I had.. Staying aboard the ship for 3 days for my 51st Birthday was a BLAST.. There is so much to see and do.. I was there for the Dark Harbor Attractions and I'm looking forward to doing it again.. The boat is old but very well maintained.. The room was a little cold, but your right on the water, so ask for extra blankets.. If you want a FANTASTIC meal while aboard the ship Chelsea's is a must!! My birthday dinner was absolutely delicious.. If you are a people person like me, you will ENJOY yourself!!

Me & a friend stayed on this ship for 3 days before we boarded our Royal Caribbean Cruise The room was so hot!! I slept in my birthday suite & kept the port hole window open all night which was noisy On top of that, we were woken up twice during the night by "Ghost Hunters" that were in the hallway trying to communicate with Ghost oooh spooky During our second day we tiredly took an Uber to the USS Iowa & visited that ship as well. Which we do highly recommend All of our food was DoorDashed because the food on the Queen Marry was awful & expensive. All in all, it was cool exploring the ship & taking a tour but it needs a lot of work Hopefully they can improve the ship & fix it up a bit because she needs a lot of TLC.

Very, very nice staff and gorgeous boat. Very open to understanding of improvements they can do for ADA guest. I use a wheelchair due to issues with my legs. Enjoyed how the festival was part of the boat and how easy it was to go back-and-forth.

The ambiance is colorful and contemporary. The gardens are gorgeous, and they have fun decorations for holidays. There are a lot of places to sit. It is nice to have so many places to eat with varying price points outside of the park. Most are on the expensive side. I loved the Salted Straw ice cream parlor, and they had mobile ordering. We watched a jazz trio perform that was so good! There are Disney related stores so you can find a lot of things that are in the park here. Wish there was a Bath and Body Works and some more quick service, less expensive places to eat. More bathrooms would be good too. It makes the walk to and from the park long, but you can catch a monorail.

The downtown area is very clean and there are lots of places to shop and eat. It's best to go here in the morning when the crowds aren't so thick. You can buy Disney souvenirs, pins, shirts, jackets and toys here as well as food. There is also a green turf space for kids to explore and parents to sit. The wide walk ways are appreciated but it would be nice to see more shaded seating and benches along the path.

You don’t need Disneyland tickets to enjoy Downtown Disney — it’s open to everyone, and it’s such a fun, vibrant spot to spend a few hours. There’s a quick security check as you enter, which actually makes the whole place feel safer. Once inside, it feels surprisingly global — lots of hotels around, people from everywhere, and a big open lawn area that often has live concerts and events. There’s something for everyone here — from the LEGO store and family-friendly food spots to cool bars and date-night restaurants. I spotted Din Tai Fung, a bowling alley, plenty of outdoor seating, and even a stage for live music. If you stay past 8 PM, you can catch the Disneyland fireworks from right there, which is a nice bonus. Parking is right outside and easy, but make sure to get your ticket validated when you dine or shop; otherwise, it’s pricey. We paid $10 after validation. I’d recommend making dinner reservations on weekends because it does get busy, especially Friday and Saturday nights. It’s about 15–20 minutes from Knott’s Berry Farm, so if you’re nearby or just want a fun evening out without going into the Disney park, Downtown Disney is a great option.

Downtown Disney District has had many new changes since my last visit and it looks great now with added restaurants and shops, and a lawn area to relax or let the kids play. One of the best changes I’ve seen here is they now have a security clearance area to be able to access the park. The only downside is there’s a line. They have a larger parking lot now, too, with some rows of EV chargers. You can also validate parking with a purchase at Downtown Disney District. Nice area to stroll through if you don’t mind the crowds.

This is a free entry area, so perfect for the last day before you heading back to the airport after checking out from the hotel. There are free leaflets with good information about what you can get and where to find them. Don't forget to get your Lego passport stamped at their Lego store. There are plenty of beautiful spots for selfies, nice shops, and easy diner/lunch. The chicken wings from Black Tap was amazing and don't forget to grab beigniet from the beigniet express near Jaz kitchen.

This is always a fun time to spend a couple hours doing shopping or just grabbing a bite to eat. They have plenty of Disney shops, memorabilia and different rest types of restaurants. The only thing you have to pay is to park, but some businesses do validate. Whether you’re going to Disneyland or not, this is a fun stop.

We came to celebrate my birthday here in Downtown Disney. I had a blast! The weather was perfect!! There was live music celebrating Hispanic heritage month. Adults and kids were enjoying the music and dancing. There are a lot of restaurants and gift shops. Pandora had some really great items you can only purchase at a Disney park. Some of the restaurants will validated your parking. It is free to enter into downtown Disney. Restrooms are located throughout the area. You will need to have your bags checked before entering the area.

Magical from start to finish! My recent visit to Disneyland was absolutely incredible. We spent the whole day for both parks and it was worth every penny! Two parks were clean, the atmosphere was electric, and you could just feel the happiness everywhere. The highlights for me were definitely the Guardians of Galaxy and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – the technology and detail on those rides are mind-blowing. What really makes Disneyland special, though, are the Cast Members. Everyone from the ride operators to the food service staff was so friendly and helpful, really adding to that "Happiest Place on Earth" magic. Yes, it can be crowded and yes, it's expensive, but it's a classic for a reason. It’s a place where you can truly feel like a kid again. Can't wait to come back!

Worth every penny! Disneyland and California Adventure are a must-visit. We celebrated my daughter's fifth birthday here, and we rode 99% of the rides over 3 days. She is 42 inches tall. Our top 5 favorite rides were: 1. Tiana's Bayou Adventure 2. Radiator Springs Racers 3. Matterhorn Bobsleds (my daughter's least favorite) 4. Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark 5. Haunted Mansion I highly recommend getting the Lightning Pass; you'll regret it if you don't! The fireworks show is only on weekends. Wear comfortable shoes—there's lots of walking!

Amazing experience! A magical place where real magic happens. We booked a one-day pass for one park, and then realized that McQueen — my little boy’s favorite — was in the other park. We went to customer service and got magical free passes for the second park. My boy loved the night show with all the characters. A beautiful and unforgettable place!

It's a very beautiful and entertaining place. Very fun to visit and the attractions are amazing. If you're expecting sort of extreme attractions, you might get disappointed. This park is more for family in general. If you hate walking, you might not like it. You have to walk A LOT, and I mean A LOT. Also, if you think about buying a tickets for both parks for ONE day, I wouldn't recommend it that much. I bought a ticket for only one, and I wasn't able to get on all rides and explore the whole park. I got there like at 10am and left until 9pm. The park is very big. Overall, is was a great experience, definitely good for small or younger children! I do think teenagers and adults can enjoy it a lot, but I it was more directed to children.

I absolutely LOVE Disneyland! Had a great time at this park. I went offseason when it was raining, which really helped with crowd control! There are a ton of rides in this park and something for everyone! Usually go to WDW, but happy that I got to try out Disneyland! It was awesome seeing Walt's vision for the park. Space Mountain and Pirates were my favorite rides here. I want to visit again in the future!

Took the adult kids and their children as a family trip. Bought the bundle tickets months ago thru Costco and so loved the adventures we had. Not a frequent visitor so, absolutely love asking questions and so grateful for the plethora of cast members that can answer those questions. Must make reservations months before trip. Food reservations are 60+days or more. Fireworks or parades prepare at least 2 hrs before (if you want great seats). Shopping prices increased this year, $2-4 more for pins and small trinket items. Def use the app. Tells you about characters (where they will be) and events or special surprises! Oh and prepare to spend money. If your a fan, you will soon find out why you will spend more. Lol.

Just magical. Can't say much more.. but I'll try. We decided to travel to Disney from Idaho for the oogie boogie bash. My wife and daughters were massively excited. I wasn't entirely sure but ended up having such an amazing time. Of course, waiting in the line for rides was always a thing but that's what you get. It really wasn't that bad. Loved every minute of it. The food was great. The rides were great. Every experience at Disney was amazing.

The park is spotless, the staff is friendly, and the attention to detail in every attraction is unmatched. I went during the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, and it was incredible! The decorations, the spooky atmosphere, and all the Halloween-themed shows and character meet-and-greets made it an unforgettable night. The trick-or-treat trails were so much fun (yes, even for adults!), and the special parade was the perfect mix of spooky and spectacular. If you plan to visit during Halloween season, get your Oogie Boogie Bash tickets early — they sell out fast! Totally worth it for the unique costumes, shorter lines, and exclusive entertainment. Can’t wait to go back! 🎃👻✨

next door to the happiest place on earth. prices of foods seems kinda reasonable surprisingly and hey there is ice and water available at the pasta/pizza place that was nice surprise I found! lots of cool shaded tree areas there along with music performances. Nice ambience and overall environment. Even if you don't get on all the rides, soak up the beauty of the park. Remember to keep yourself hydrated frequently and some bathrooms are much more crowded especially near high traffic and popular attractions. When the park closes at 9pm, take a stroll to downtown disney and with all restaurants book, reserve get on waiting list at least 3 hours in advance, you'll be glad you did! Lots of walking, and don't pay for preferred parking- it's actually doesn't feel that much closer. Ride single rider lines whenever it is offered and you won't complain about long waits in lines. They allow snacks as long as they are not requiring re heating and don't have pungent odors. They allow your own drinks so long as they are not glass bottles, they will make you dump at the entrance.

Adventure! 🎢 The park was clean, lively, and full of great energy. The Spider-Man ride was new to me!! super fun and interactive! 🕸️ The Toy Story Midway Mania is still one of my absolute favorites; it never gets old. 🎯 Unfortunately, Radiator Springs Racers was closed for repair, which was a bit disappointing, but there were still plenty of other great attractions to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was cheerful and well-organized. Definitely a great place to spend the day, and I’m already looking forward to coming back when everything’s open!

I was in town for a conference and played hookey. I got there just at sunset, and have regrets. There is a lot more to see and do that I hadn't anticipated. The Cars Land is a standout! I only got to do the Luigi ride, which was adorable! At first, I was confused by the SanFranTokyo land because I keep sleeping on Big Hero Six. I went to go to the Avengers Campus, and I did manage to meet Spider-Man (who was just the sweetest) and do the web slinger ride. WHOO!! That was a workout! As someone who has been to WDW dozens of times, California Adventure was trippy to me because it really feels fake. I think it's the scale that I find off-putting. But that vanishes once you move into the other lands. The Halloween decor was so fun! I've never been at this time of year, so Oogie Boogie's and the not-so-spooky costumes everywhere were a treat! I will definitely be back!

Such a good time. If only Mr. Burns would block the direct sunlight and keep the park cooler. So many awesome Cast Members out there making everything more magical than it already is. Tourists, chill out and have a good time. It is a busy place and patience is a must have character trait. The Lightning Lane made the day so much nicer and the intuitive ordering for food items was great! The water show at the end was incredible!

Awesome experiences as expected, the fountain show was amazing, the rides were great, the employees and the cast were friendly and helpful. You will need more than a day to explore everything. You can only use 1 lightning Lane at once, but after a couple hours you can use another one (even if you don't redeem the first one yet). So keep an eye out for that. You can bring small backpack to put everything inside when you take rides. Take off your hat and Disney eat headband during ride or you may lost it like I did. You can put the backpack on the floor and tangled it to your foot to secure it. Everything with buckles will be expected shaky. Food recommendation; cheap quick breakfast at Pym, and our favourite ever the turkey legs from street vendors! Do an online order to save the line, bring bottles for water, and keep your Disney paper cups for unlimited soda refill. Spend some time at the garden of avenger campus, you can meet some of the avenger heroes there to chat and take pictures with.

The building facade is very attractive and display European architecture. It's rupees $20 to enter the casino of course, there is no gambling. Excellent display of murals. There's a skating ring and also where is steep ramp to enter the casino movie? Theatre, sometimes in YouTube. Movies are heal, dear. The tour is about 30 minutes. We were late so decided to go for dinner instead. But dead look inside its very attractive and it's worth a visit.Once you're in aval on.

The view from here is magnificent. There is a fee to enter. They do have events here as well. The outside balcony at the upper level gives you a half circle length of view. Skating was nice but the socks were expensive as I did not wear any that day. There was a room with a television playing the details about the buildings history. The bathrooms were dated as well with an extensive sitting area before you get to the toilets.

I finally went to the casino and did the tour. It's like a flashback in time. Very beautiful. They have movies there once in awhile an old ones all the time. The ballroom has become a roller skating rink there are a few people in there enjoying it. $20 so much for 30 minute tour but so once in a lifetime thing so why not? There are no stairs but very rather steep ramps. Would not recommend for people that cannot endure that exercise. Was fun to see a piece of history.

This is not an actual gambling house. There is not much to see it looks just like an outdated abandoned building. There’s really nothing to look at. They play a video in a room That goes over the history of Catalina Island. That’s about it. I wouldn’t spend your money here.

Beautiful piece of California history. The new skating rink in the ballroom is a blast and still a little secret as it's just opened up. Definitely worth the entry fee. Highly recommend taking some time to skate in this historic venue.

Magnificent building with fabulous art deco theme. The highlight is the huge ballroom. The photos say it all. Highly recommend taking the tour to learn the rich history.

Catalina Casino is a stunning canvas for romantic couples’ portraits. Its iconic Art Deco architecture, waterfront setting, and varied vantage points—from the jetty and archways to the ballroom and promenade—offer endless, cinematic backdrops. Especially at dawn or dusk, the soft natural light transforms each shot into something truly magical.

Quick and fun way to get to Balboa! My 2.5 year old loved riding the “car boat.” We walked on with a big stroller and the Captains helped us get onto the boat- super friendly guys! Very affordable ($2 total for myself and 2 little kids.) Two ferries are always running so we had no wait on either end of our trip. Cash only, pay on the boat. A fun & affordable way to experience the bay.

The best most fun thing on the Peninsula!!! I love how rain or shine. The ferry always runs you know during Covid. They never shut down. It was almost surreal, riding the ferry with no passengers or no boats on the ocean. It’s a Newport Beach tradition and very cool so ride the ferry people.!!!

Our ferry ride was incredibly smooth and efficient from start to finish. Boarding was quick and well-organized, and the staff were friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable. The ride itself was fast and steady no bumps, no delays, just a relaxing trip with great views along the way. The seating was clean and comfortable, and everything ran right on schedule. It was such a pleasant experience overall. Whether you’re commuting or just sightseeing, this ferry makes traveling easy and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be choosing this route again!

I had such an amazing time along with unwinding and taking it all in after being away from home. It’s certainly not my first time but absolutely enjoy it and it’s my favorite every time I’m home. If you love the ocean as much as I do, this is it!

I LOVEEEE BALBOA ISLAND FERRY, it's incredible cheap!! My trip was only 7 dollars compared to 40 bucks a normal ferry would charge. It's honestly SOOOOO amazing, it reminds me of a punt ferry, so amazing, absolutely recommend!!

$2 each way. Cash only. Two ferries constantly run on most days. The best deal in these parts. Very efficiently run.

This is an excellent way to cut your commute time from Balboa Island to Newport Coast without having to go all the way around. The ferry is inexpensive and very short and a must do addition to your visit to Newport. Been operating for many decades and is a quick entertaining attraction for anyone visiting Newport and Balboa Island.

This is a good place to visit if you are interested in California mission history. The original building was destroyed by an earthquake in 1812, and the church ruins and a variety of other original elements remain. Renovations in the 1970s brought reproductions of the many buildings, rooms, and a small chapel. There are beautiful gardens, and a museum gift shop. The swallows don't visit like they used to due to so much activity in the area. It cost $15 to enter, and we were there for about an hour

Alright California!! This Place is Cali Gold. The Historic Value of this place is Second to None. There is so Much History in its relationship to the Development of California. The grounds are very very well kept and the Guided tour is a must to get the most out of this Mission. Visit the Chapel on sight and the Ruins of the Original Chapel. Wow it's incredible. Great for Photos, a Date Day, and exploring for the whole family. Don't miss it. It's incredible and a must see for everyone!

We had the opportunity to photograph S & K's first look at Mission San Juan Capistrano, and it was truly a dream setting for capturing timeless portraits. From the soft stone textures to the iconic arches and bell wall, every corner of the Mission offered a stunning visual backdrop. The light was beautiful throughout the day, filtered, warm, and natural, ideal for both candid and editorial shots. There’s a peaceful, historic charm to the space that elevated the emotional energy of the first look, creating a moment that felt private, sacred, and cinematic. We would highly recommend the Mission to couples looking for a location that combines California history, natural beauty, and elegant architecture. It’s a gem for storytelling. — Anastasia

Mission San Juan Capistrano is one of my favorite places to visit because it holds a lot of fond memories for me. There have been many changes to the mission - especially after the pandemic. The East Gate is no longer open. You have to go through the tour to get into the original chapel. This was the side entrance we used to enter through when we went to Sunday morning Mass as a family. I love that the original Serra Chapel is still intact so visitors can marvel at the intricate details of the altar, handpainted walls, wooden pews, and the St. Peregrine Chapel. The grounds are also well-maintained and I especially love every bit of Mission San Juan Capistrano. Some of the newer things I liked was how they cleaned up the fountain and added koi fish. Overall, I love MSJC and how much of its history is preserved to this day. It’s a beautiful site to visit and to pray. I also always end my visits with a trip to their gift shop. The ladies who work there are wonderful.

What a beautiful, well maintained mission! Although there is now a fee to enter, it’s well worth the price. You can spend an hour or a day just walking the gardens and visiting the chapel. At the exit, there is a church store fulled with books, cards, collectibles, and other artifacts. It’s a fun outing! We are glad we took the time to visit!

This is such a beautiful mission. My kids had a fun time walking/running around and exploring. We were on vacation for my son’s Birthday and they gave us a discounted price because of that ❤️ Some of the areas were not easily accessible with our stroller - so my husband and I had to lift the stroller and carry it up the stairs to get around to the area on the path (the walkway was blocked due to set up for an event). Thankfully we could do that. We probably spent about 2 hours here. I do want to revisit with my kids and see the things we didn’t spend much time looking at. There is plenty of parking around - outside you just have to drive around to find it.

This is a beautiful and well taken care of Mission. Lots of stories told here about the indigenous people and how this Mission was successful and created things for trade. This place takes you back in time and explains the story of the swallow. I live in the area now and bring friends here to enjoy the beauty!

Great and professional theater experience, and it's right here in our backyard! We saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and it was phenomenal. Perfect for a fun night on the town, dinner and a show with lots of fun places nearby after or before the show. Highly recommended!

HIGH-QUALITY PERFORMANCES! The Old Town Temecula Community Theater is outstanding! Each event I’ve attended here has been fun and enjoyable. I’ve seen play productions, concerts, and recently the Annual Jazz Festival! The seats are SO comfortable here and there’s plenty of ramps for disabled guests. The volunteers and staff are very welcoming and helpful. The venue is intimate which allows each seat to provide a great view! The theater seats have a lot of leg room. There’s upstairs seating, but it’s limited. You can also find a small balcony section on each upper side of the theater, however, they’re also limited in space. Most seats will be found at the bottom level. The theater’s box office can be found in the neighboring venue, The Merc. Additionally, the theater has a set of restrooms across from it and a snack shop that has wine, soda. candy and other goodies. The venue is family friendly and has a great atmosphere. Being in the heart of Old Town Temecula, one has several food options before and after an event as there’s many restaurants and bars nearby! I have an appreciation for this theater as they really reach out to the community and tickets aren’t overpriced!

Most wonderful Theater!! Such a treasure and such an enrichment for the community in this town!! Great selections of shows as well! I've seen several shows there myself AND also performed there myself with the local Southwest Women's Chorus (look us up OR join!). The acoustics are superb, the staff is so friendly and helpful. The shows reach from performances of non-local artists to performances of local artist. Variety of shows are great! Really one of the best venues in the whole Temecula Valley! I recommend to buy tickets ahead of time because shows can sell out very quickly. Definitely give this Theater a visit!!

Small venue, but that is a good thing. We sat in the balcony. Interestingly, the balcony is just one row of seats. That makes egress and access difficult. But the center seats in the balcony have the best view, so tripping over your neighbors is worth it!

Saw Led Zepagain here and it was a great venue! Sound & lighting were were really good. Seating was comfortable. There were no signs posted for the entrance so we walk around building twice to find it. Parking is $26 in the lots & you have to pay thru your phone. Not even the lot attendant could get it to work right. I had to park 4 blocks away at the city hall parking structure, which is free but made us miss 25 minutes of the show.

A must see when you're in town. Lots of restored old buildings, food options (try Goat and Vine restaurant) and shops. Make sure to also go down the side streets as there are other shops around that are worth visiting. Lastly, there's a public parking about 2 blocks up away from the main street that helps avoid competing in finding parking.

Great venue, not a bad seat in the house. The place has the feel of a Broadway theater, with a gorgeous outdoor courtyard serving as a lobby. Saw the Andrew Lloyd Webber spectacular and it was a great tribute to the composer! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We rented two surreys to bike along the one-mile strand, $70 for one hour total. The weather was sunny and breezy. The walk along the pier was gorgeous, and we got to watch the surfers catch some waves. Parking was a challenge in the area.

Oceanside Pier is a must-visit in Southern California. Fun Stop when in Oceanside. I grew up coming to the pier in the 1970's. The buildings and businesses along the shoreline have changed but the Pier is still there. Multiple interations of the pier have stood for decades. The pier has been beaten by storms and most recently fire. The end of the pier is still closed but most of the pier is open to the public. Fishing is popular for many and the pier provides good spots. Rental equipment is available if you want to wet a line and don't have gear. Maybe, some smoked fish will soothe the call. Paid parking is available just south of the pier. Public restrooms are also available. The "Top Gun House" is across the street from the pier area. Take a walk down the pier and breathe in some sea air. You might spot some sea lions or even a dolphin.

I lived in Oceanside in the early 60's, when I was just a young child & my boyfriend & I come back every now & then to fish on the Oceanside pier & he loves fishing on the jetty, too! Before we even met, he told me he spent about a decade of his childhood & teens back in the 70s, staying in a condo in Oceanside, right on the beach, every summer! He just loved it, as it was nice to get out of San Bernardino County, where he grew up, to be by the ocean!

Stopped by the beach and pier for a date night. Beach was okay, but the pier was nice. It was pretty crowded near the pier when we went. Parking is a pain, Parking lots are a good walk from the beach/pier and cost by the hour. Otherwise, we still had a good time walking the pier and watching the surfers and people fishing.

It’s a pier but a little rough. A lot is going on but it’s not super dangerous. Keep your eyes open. It’s not pristine but it has a cool SoCal vibe. Visit at your own risk because on a good day there are thousands of people on the pier and around there. Closer to the beach is more safe but as you leave and you got few blocks away it all feels sketchier but it’s not exactly dangerous.

We had such a great time at LEGOLAND! There are so many fun things to see and do — way more than I expected. The creativity behind all the LEGO designs and attractions is amazing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The aquarium is definitely worth visiting — it was one of my favorite parts of the day! There’s a great variety of animals and it’s really well done. However, the park really needs better maintenance. A lot of things were dusty, faded, or missing pieces, some water features weren’t working, and a few attractions were closed. It’s still a fun experience, but I’d love to come back when everything’s fully restored and running at 100%!

We had a good time at Legoland. Parents, grandparents and a 2 1/5 year old. Place was clean and employees were nice. I gave them 3 stars because so much of the park needs maintenance. The mini city section was a big disappointment. Buttons to make things move - most did not work. Much of the display was broken and in need of repair. The map on the app was not updated and we took a long walk to avoid the construction because the app is not updated. The park was pretty much empty but on most attractions we had to walk through all of the long queues instead of just letting us skip the lines. We were also surprised that we only saw two characters out in 2 days of walking around the park. Our grandson had fun building and playing in the toddler area. The aquarium was quite a hit!

First time Vacation at Legoland! We had our 8, 7 and 3 year old and my in laws with their 3 year old. I would say that this theme park is definitely for under 10 unless your kids love more action/activities then it might not be for them. Let me say this...Lego masterpieces everywhere!!!!! Amazing how all was put together to show a little of everything. We started our Sunday with Sealife and then headed to the Brick or Treat event. Kids were dressed up and they were given small bags for candies. Now the candy stations (less than 10 stations) were in certain areas and at times a little confusing with everything that was going on. I feel like it would be nice and easier if candies were to be handed out in front of the rides but thats just me. There was no waiting times during our Sunday night. They were able to get into a few rides as well as enjoying the lego art. Monday visit was a bit more busy and humid. We waited almost 20-30 minutes for the roller coaster and the duplo train ride. Other rides were less than 10 minutes. Most rides that include parents with young children have a weight limit of 330 pounds for the seat. Luckily we were able to take turns and enjoy some rides with our boys. Like i had said previously the rides are definitely for younger kids and they only last maybe less than 2 minutes and have little to no motion. My two older boys enjoyed the roller coaster and the ride that goes up and down(its in my pictures). We did a few family group rides like the big boat ride that takes you along the lake, the duplo train, and the submarine ride. We also bought the 2 day cup and the popcorn bucket but unlike other theme parks, the freestyle machines were not everywhere so it was pointless and the popcorn bucket was only refillable at that kiosk from what we saw because we asked around a few places and those places had no popcorn. The one thing that I don't know how to take it as is at this lego car exhibit my brother in law took my boys to see the car and apparently as soon as they went in the male employee there told him- that there was nothing exciting to see and dont waste your time there and instead go on the rides- so whatever his intentions were we'll never know but my son loves hot wheels so he was interested in looking at that car. So now that I pointed out my experiences I want to say that we had fun, and a few meh moments and for us it was a one time thing. Staff was friendly in the park and hotel.

Title: Not Worth the Price — Disappointing Stay for $700 a Night I booked a fully themed “Friends” room at Legoland Hotel California to celebrate my grandchild’s birthday one November 1, 2025 for one Night. Honestly, for the $700 I paid for one night, it was not worth it. I hope this review helps anyone deciding whether to book here. The room was very small and felt extremely crowded. We were given one king bed, plus a bunk bed and a pull-out bed, which sounds great but left almost no space to move around. The furniture looked old-fashioned and worn out — some pieces were chipped, the wallpaper was scratched, and parts were even peeling off. Around 4 a.m., I tried turning on the TV, but it wasn’t working. The screen said to call the cable operator, so I contacted the front desk. They told me I had to wait until 7 a.m. for someone to come in and call the company. The room was generally clean, but it was clear that cleaning was only done on the surface — not in detail. I have asthma, and I could feel dust irritation right away. Also, please note: the photos you see online when booking are not what the rooms actually look like. The hotel’s biggest advantage is that it’s right next to the park, which is convenient, but honestly, you’re better off staying at one of the nearby hotels that offer more space and comfort — especially if you’re traveling with kids.

I had a great time at Legoland with my family! The park was full of color, creativity, and fun activities for everyone. My son absolutely loved it — from the Lego-themed rides to building his own creations, he didn’t stop smiling the whole day. The miniature Lego cities were amazing to see up close, and we all enjoyed exploring together. It was such a wonderful family day out, and we’re already talking about going back!

So fun, and also very overstimulating! 🤪 It was better and bigger than I expected. Perfect for younger kids. I saw families with kids 0-14 or so. We were there all day and did not see the whole park.

We came here mid-day on a Monday October 6, 2025. Legoland is located in sunny Carlsbad, California. There is a very big parking area and rates start from $36.00 for regular all day parking. There is even vallet parking which will cost you a pretty penny. When we arrived the lady at the front counter was informative, friendly and professional. Buy your tickets online if possible. It's way cheaper than paying at the ticket counter. Once we got through the entrance, we noticed the park is clean and well kept. The Legoland park is big. Lots to see and do. As it is October the theme park has a bunch of Halloween decorations up currently. The park is attached to the hotel resort. A single night in a hotel room will run you upwards of $300.00 or more. The rooms are based on themes. My family and I made our first stop at the Pizza and Pasta buffet having skipped breakfast and snacks and drove for over an hour on the I 5. It cost $76 for a family of three. The pizza and pasta are bottomless as well as the soda pop. After lunch we set out to see the sights. I knew the park was big but I wasn't aware how massive and spread out the property really is. I have including a pic of the park's map in this review. Too many places to name. The boat ride around miniature land is amazing and I totally recommend checking out Legoland Movie World and taking a ride on Emmet's Flying Adventure. It's basically a large screen simulator with immersive features such as spraying mist and drizzle as you and your family fly through the clouds. I would recommend coming early so you can make the most of this magical adventure. 5 stars 💫💫💫💫💫Enjoy!

This hike was amazing! 🌊 The entry fee was $20, and we drove all the way up to the top parking lot to start the West Overlook Trail (about 3 miles). The beginning was mostly downhill with incredible ocean views and cool lookout spots. The way back is uphill, so it’s definitely a workout—but worth it. I highly recommend wearing good shoes and bringing plenty of water, especially if you’re hiking midday.

Breathtakingly beautiful and serene! The mountains on one side and the ocean on the other side makes it even more scenic. So many beautiful trails leading to the peaks where you can watch the sunset or sunrise in the most spectacular views. I loved going here and will come back again and again! Hands down 5 star!

Beautiful beach, lot of trails - easy to moderate. Great views. I ended up doing many easy ones just for the views. Some trails can get very crowded and you may not enjoy the experience. Best solution is to go at your own pace and let the stream of people pass!! My best decision was to walk back along the beach after completing the trails. That was more adventurous and thrilling!!

Came here on a Friday afternoon late September. $20 day use fee. Did my hikes from the parking lot across the road from the visitor center. Good amount of parking. I could see it being an issue on really busy days. Porta potties there with hand washing stations. Pretty clean porta potties that didnt smell too bad. Decently warm day but there was a breeze most of the time making it pleasant most of the time. Hiked to Red Butte, Razor Point, Yuma Overlook, and the beach. Took a bit more than an hour including meditation and picture time. Downhill mostly to beach then back uphill to parking lot. Mostly gentle. Nothing too crazy. I am a middle aged guy that sits at a computer working everyday for most of the day and have some mild asthma and still did just fine. Amazing stuff. Although there were plenty of people there, there were still quiet times to enjoy the ambiance and sounds and meditate. Scenery is unreal, and the trails are well marked. Pictures I attach do speak a thousand words and display the incredible scenery. Got my beloved souvenir patch and postcards at the VC, which has no bathrooms or water for water bottle. Highly recommended. I posted lots of pics because this place deserves it.

A stunning place to hike in San Diego! You’ll see animals, geology, gorgeous ocean views, and our famous Torrey Pines. With parking lots both at beach level and on the cliffs, there are many options to start your hikes. There are numerous trails which intersect, so you can meander and never get lost. Whether you want an easy walk or a challenging hillside hike, you’ll find one here. This is a state park and admission at the time of this review was $20 per car. You can park on Torrey Pines Road for free if you can find a spot and walk in. We visited on a Sunday and arrived around 12 o’clock, so it was busy there was still still parking available. When we left at 1:30 it was much emptier, so mornings are definitely the busier time to go. I HIGHLY recommend Torrey pines for sightseeing and hiking. It’s the epitome of natural San Diego!

Fantastic place to walk, hike, jog or run. There is something for everyone. The trails can be narrow in some places and there are some steep areas, but those may have steps. It's so vast that I may have only passed fewer than 25 people in the hour I was there.

This is a must-do in San Diego. As a local, it has the most beautiful views and great hikes. For cyclists, going up Torrey Pines is a right of passage. Not for the faint of heart. Parking can be a bit challenging during the summer but it’s totally worth it. The best sunsets in San San Diego. Bring a picnic or a burrito from Roberto’s which is right around the corner and enjoy the nature!

This is always a fantastic experience for kids, but the adults enjoyed it just as much. Ideally, go take the bus tour first thing when you get there. It gives you a good overview of the park, and you'll beat the crowds the rest of the day. The avian show was very entertaining and we of course learned a lot of fascinating info on the various birds and other bonus animals they brought out.

Brilliant park, expansive highly suggest getting the open air shuttle through the safari plains, getting close enough to see animals wandering or resting and great photo opportunities. Only complaint is “zoo radio” near the food which is too loud and not in keeping with a nature outdoor experience. Loved the tiger exhibit sounds! Can’t wait to see the new elephant exhibit later this year!

The San Diego zoo Safari Park. 15500 San Pascual Valley road in Escondido California. We are season ticket holders and pay $280.00 per year for two of us with free parking included. It is a magical place to view wildlife in their natural habitat. They also have lots of birds, flowers and plants. If you are up to it the paths are abundant and easy to walk. If not there is a tram which is included in the 76.00 each adult pays for a day pass. The tram is about a 40 minute adventure through the natural savanna reserve. The park is all handicapped accessible and they offer rental carts to ride around the paths inside. Parking is $17 dollars per carload. I have included some of our pictures from past visits. If Escondido is to far for you the San Diego Zoo near downtown is awesome at the same above listed prices. Membership includes two free passes you can use anytime.

What an excellent experience! So much fun! Took the deluxe Safari, which was well worth the additional cost even if you only pay for entrance into the park you will thoroughly enjoy yourself as there is so much to see and do. The animals are still abundant and the foliage is gorgeous!! We made it a day trip from Palm Springs and it was well worth the effort!

A wonderful park to visit! Animals in a natural environment, beautiful grounds full of interesting flora and fauna. We walked for three miles, many inclines so you will get some exercise! Plenty of benches though to take rests as needed. They offer hot air balloon rides and safari tours for an extra fee.

The best family day out we have ever had. The views round the park are like nothing we have ever experienced before. You can spend a whole day here easily and very good value for money. They have a hot air balloon which does cost extra but worth every penny to see the view of the whole park!

What a wonderful place! It delivered on everything it was supposed to be. A great vibe and a fun place for kids. Here are some tips that can be helpful when you’re going with kids (we had 2 under 2) •bring extra water and ur own bottle (there were barely places to refill and water bottles were $$$) •bring a double stroller! •it was VERY hot when we went and there’s not much shaded areas and LOTS of walking so bring a stroller fan, hats, sunscreen •the $20 extra fee for the priority pass for the tram is worth it if you have kids bc the line was 50 minutes long •download the safari app - it has a live feature on your phone that helps you plan the day and directions to sites. So much better than walking around aimlessly! We saw all the animals and went on the Africa tram. But my highlights were: *elephant viewing inside the herb garden (you have to go in the herb garden to see them. It’s like a hidden hideaway right next to the campground area) *the atrium. These were so beautiful and calming. Highly rec This place is HUGE. Lots of walking and hills. So wear comfy shoes and clothes and bring all the things you need. Enjoy!!
