*A Natural Wonderland for All Ages Our recent hike at the gorge was an unforgettable experience! The stunning natural rock formations are a sight to behold, offering breathtaking views at every turn. The well-laid paths made the hike enjoyable and accessible, allowing us to fully take in the beauty of the area without difficulty. The gorge was just that! Gorgeous! What impressed me most was how incredibly clean the entire park was—it's clear that a lot of care and effort go into maintaining this natural gem. Despite the rugged landscape, Elora Gorge is very kid-friendly, which made it a perfect family adventure. Even with the steep drop-offs, we felt safe knowing that dangerous areas were carefully fenced off, ensuring everyone could enjoy the scenery without worry. If you're looking for a beautiful, well-maintained place to hike that’s suitable for all ages, I highly recommend visiting!

It was a short walk from the parking area to the hole in the rock stairs. The cedar tree roots growing around the large rock is magical. We were there on a weekday morning this week and had the place to ourselves. There is a forest trail to a stone lookout where you get a view of the limestone rockface. We were happy to follow a review that suggested going to Victoria Park in downtown Elora and taking the stairs down to the river for a close up view of the gorge. Be careful as the trail is really rough with steep rocky path. The combination of the two trails gives you the best experience.

*only reviewing tubing on the gorge* I went tubing with a few friends and really enjoyed myself! The tubing price was $54 plus the park entrance fee. For the price I likely wouldn't do this again. For the price I'd expect a tube collection service which there isn't. Also due to bridge construction we couldn't park at the finish line to drive back to the drop off so we had to walk 45mins. I don't mind walking but for the price I shouldn't have to walk with all the equipment. However all that said, I really found the gorge beautiful and the (small) rapids were fun! We all had a good time

There is an entry fees of $8 per person. There are three trails that you can go. They are not tough so can go with kids as well but not with stroller and all. You can enjoy tubing but tickets should be purchased in advance. There are multiple parking lots. You can enjoy a day out with your family but carry your own food and water as there no foods stalls inside that. I didn’t find Look out points much attractive, I think tubing would be fun and that is on my bucket list, will definitely try next time.

Elora Gorge Park is a protected area surrounding a deep gorge, and we visited for a walk through the picturesque landscape. We were amazed by the stunning natural beauty, clean environment, and excellent facilities. It seemed like we paid С$8.50 per person and spent the entire day here with friends and their dog.

Park entry fee: $8.00/person Cars were parked on the grass or anywhere they found the space. Tubing: registration $20/person Plan ahead, the line was long. If you rented the equipment elsewhere, you don’t have to wait in line but there’s no signs up indicating which wasted a lot of time. Once you get the band, follow the yellow steps to the launching area. The hike is steep and long. Once you get into the water, you are on your own, there aren’t life guards. The water flow was steady but other areas, fast. There is a area in between you can stop and dive off into the water. It’s not easy to navigate the where to go unless you paddle in some way(used my water shoes) It’s beautiful along the way, the scenery is beautiful, you will pass a waterfall! When you get to the end, it’s best to step off as it was harder when when you reach the chain. Now the walk back to return equipment (if rented on site) and to the parking is also long but through the trail so just follow the signs. Along the way, I saw many camp sites. Tips, Bring water shoes, rocks Bring water proof case for car keys/phones. I guarantee if not secured, you will lose it. Bring ropes if you want to stay linked to your friends Wear sun screen Wear life jacket Wear helmet

Oh wow, what agreat experience!! The gorge was beautiful and fun. We had such a great, hot and sunny day to end the summer. I highly recommend this floating trip and I'd go back!!

We just spent 5 days camping with friends. Clean and quiet this time of year. We enjoyed hiking to the caves and around the old Mill and really enjoyed kayaking the calm beautiful water. Just a little over an hour to putter the nooks and crannies but so good for your soul!

Beautiful and quite easy trail. (We were with small kids so we went to the mill ruins, but then decided to go around and visit the lookout - worth it!!). There are a picturesque mill ruins, the dam with kind of waterfall, cave. A lot of parking places, small beach, picnik area with bbq, drinking water and toilets. I must say it was a bit of a let down. Elora is a beautiful town. The gorge and natural surroundings are impressive. So to drive 30 minutes from Elora to get to this beach, I had expectations. It's a small beach on a small artificial bay created by a dam. It has great facilities and parking. And because we camped at the Elora Gorge Conservation Area we didn't have to pay to access this beach. That was a good thing. It's a good day beach for small kids.

We had a great day experience. We have been there on a Long Weekend. I love the grounds. Very well kept. A great family environment. The park was not very crowded, there was grass everywhere even near the beach, the beach was well maintained with adequate amount of sand. For those who like to hike, there are plenty of options to walk around the lake. This park is much better maintained. We rented Canoe and it was an awesome experience. You have Plenty of space for Kayaking. From Hiking, Canoeing, Fishing & Picnic setups this park will not disappoint you.

Great spot for both hiking and kayaking. I've visited several times for kayaking, and it never gets old. The combination of rocks and water always gives it a fresh, uncharted feel. (August)

A great fun weekend spot for spending the whole day with family and friends. The beach is small, but amazing place to take a dip or rent a canoe or kayak. The rental reasonably low priced and get that experience of canoeing right beside the ducks in the lake. Take the short hikes and the lookout point is worth it.

Found this on a last minute whim and absolutely loved the area. The 8km walking trail was beautiful. Restrooms were clean, my dog loved his time here. We went on a Friday evening, it was quiet and peaceful. A hidden gem, I can’t wait to be back!

The scenic view is captivating and amazing to think we have not explore the whole area. it is spacious good for any outdoor activities for family, friends and team building event for companies. I quite surprise not to experience chasing after mosquitos here compare to the other places we visited. May I suggest to add a washroom to the other area too. we definitely visit again to explore the whole place.

We drove from Kitchener and it was worth it! We went on a Friday morning and reserved our admission online the day before. The price is cheap for two people ($13). Do the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail, it's a must! You can park at lot 3 and the loop takes about 1.5-2hr to complete. There are so many scenic spots to stop and enjoy. The trail is really well maintained with various terrain and fairly flat throughout. The bridges over the water were our favourite. The park overall was well maintained and so were the washrooms! We then did the Kayak rental. It was quick and easy and the prices were reasonable! Although it was a further drive for us it was 100% worth it. It's a large lake, great trails and good rental options.

Island Lake is one of the parks part of the Credit Valley Conservation, where this park acts as a head water for the Credit River. The park has a number of trails, most of which are not very difficult along with various picnic areas and fishing spots. The most popular trail is the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail, which covers the perimeter of Island Lake. It connects smaller islands within the lake by a series of wooden bridges and boardwalk style trails. The trail surface is about 1/3 boardwalk, which is easy to walk on and is wide enough for hikers and cyclists. Many of the viewpoints along the trail are also fishing spots as well. Generally, the trails are not very difficult and are very clearly marked with points of interest. The park also has plenty of picnic areas, with a larger area near the P2 and P3 parking lots. There are also spots to launch for any water activities such as canoes and kayaks. Overall, this park is good if looking for a picnic spot or for a simpler walking trail. On popular times, the wait time can be 30 mins or more, so it’s recommended to pay online in advance to help with getting in quicker.

Setting out for a two-hour hike was an absolute joy! Surrounded by vibrant greenery and blooming wildflowers, the trail was a sight to behold. Breathing in the crisp air and listening to the birdsong, we left the city noise behind and immersed ourselves in nature's symphony. Exploring the winding path, we discovered hidden gems around every corner, from babbling brooks to secluded clearings. As we made our way back, we felt invigorated and rejuvenated, our spirits lifted by the beauty of the outdoors. In summary, the two-hour hike was a fantastic escape, providing a much-needed dose of nature's wonders. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quick adventure!

An incredibly beautiful and serene conservation park with lots of scenic views. It has a few short trails and one long Vicki Barron Lakeside trail that goes around the lake. The trails are very well kept and marked for easily navigating around. The main trail is great for walking or cycling but if you want to complete the trail, cycling would be a better choice. There are a few benches along the trail where you can take a break in a relaxing environment and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Canoes and kayak rentals are also available in the park, and you can bring your own as well. The lake is also great to go for fishing, you can also have a picnic in the park and bring your own charcoal BBQ grill. There is an entrance fee of $6.5 per person to enter the park. Overall, a great place for a weekend outing.

Such a nice trail, mostly paved. At one point you can take a ferry and join the Niagara trail too. We have done lots of variations of this. There are lots of places to stop and park. Highly recommended.

What an incredible place for a hike or especially a bike ride! I’ve done the entire welland in Canal. There are so many different things to see. It’s so wonderful and it’s paved all the way. It’s pretty cool watching the big ships come down the canal.

These canals are always interesting. Such a great idea of moving ships up or down. Nice to walk around when it's not that busy and watch the ships pass.

I went for a walk to Gage Park in Brampton, and it was incredible! The Christmas lights display was stunning, showcasing Canadian heritage and culture in such a unique way. If you have some time, you should definitely visit Gage Park in Brampton—you won’t be disappointed!

This is a nice little park best during the Christmas season. They have a skating rink with equipment rentals. Its a bit difficult to find the parking. The best option is to park at the City Hall public parking where the first hour is free. Great for Christmas photos

Gage Park is a very beautiful park specially during the winter with it's free outdoor ice skating rink. The rink is surrounded by beautiful lighting making it a delight to skate at night. Skate rentals and sharpening is also available. Rentals cost $15 for 2 hours and $10 for kids aged 12 and under, helmets are also available to rent at $5. The rink is open daily from 5pm-10pm and 10am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Underground parking is available in City Hall. Overall a nice option for a winter outdoor family activity.

Gage Park in Brampton is an amazing place. Beautiful park with lots of trees and greenery. Personally, I like it during the snowtime. During the winter, the park is illuminated with lights all over, and an absolute delight and treat to the eyes and mind. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience in the freezing cold, worth it, unforgettable and just loved it. Not to miss this illuminated experience during the next winter.

I was staying near Gage Park. I used to come here almost every week. I have seen this park in every season. Now I'm shifted to another place and i miss this park very much. It was such a cute park with cherry blossom tree, Farmer's market, fall colors, tree lightening ceremony, skating rink, beautiful decoration, and jamming sessions by some freelance musicians on weekends. I miss everything. I wish to come here someday to enjoy the charm of this park.

As everyone is visiting places to get the wonderful view of cherry blossoms, me and my friend decided to go to Gage Park as it is in the Downtown hence, very accessible by bus. Although front side of the park was temporarily fenced due to renovation probably, we still got beautiful sight of the white cherry blossoms. We soaked ourselves in the sunlight and the fresh air and clicked tons of nice pictures. The bungalow is a great place to get clicked with. Overall, it was worth of spending time! Made our day!

A beautiful old carousel by the lake! The kids had a great time and it felt like stepping back in time for just five cents. Some of the original animals are still there. We also enjoyed the beach. The water was nice and the kids had lots of fun! Only challenge is getting a parking nearby.

Located in Lakeside Park ( willows in the Breeze...yes, that Park) Ride for only 5 cents, if you don't have a Nickel a larger donation is always appreciated. Great Park, take a stroll on the Pier or play in the sand on the beach.

The carousel is right by the beach, surrounded by trees and picnic areas, so it’s easy to make a whole family outing of it. The music and hand-carved horses give it a nostalgic feel, and it’s always well maintained thanks to the city and volunteers. Parking is available nearby, and washrooms are close by in the park. It’s busiest on sunny weekends, but the line moves quickly. Whether you’re visiting with kids or just want a bit of old-fashioned fun, this is a must-see stop in Port Dalhousie — timeless, affordable, and full of heart.

This carrousel I believe is the oldest one in the country. It is iconic and a wonderful piece of history still cost only a nickel and it’s situated at Lakeside Park the popular Rush song it talks about Lakeside Park, beautiful beach, and park and a lot of amenities around there from dining to exploring solid five out of five in Port falhousie would highly recommend once you’re finished navigating around the park you can walk the pier to have a great vantage point of some of the best sunsets around. Great place to visit whether you are a local or a tourist.!

I went on Journey on the Falls on a hot Thursday morning and there wasn’t a wait or any crowds in the tunnels or the elevators. It was interesting to get up close to the falls, especially the tunnel area with a bigger area near the top. I didn’t feel the price fully justified the experience. You won’t get very soaked unless it’s windy, so no need to fuss over a poncho. Overall, still fun, but if you’re on a budget, it’s okay to skip and prioritize the boat tour.

🚤 My Experience on the Maid of the Mist Boat Ride – Niagara Falls Taking the Maid of the Mist boat ride was the most thrilling and unforgettable part of my visit to Niagara Falls. This iconic boat tour takes you right into the heart of the mighty falls — an adventure filled with mist, roar, and excitement! As the boat slowly approached the American Falls and then the majestic Horseshoe Falls, I could feel the power of nature all around me. The sound of the crashing water was thunderous, and the mist completely surrounded us — it felt like stepping into another world. Even with the provided blue poncho, I was soaked, but the experience was totally worth it! The ride was about 20 minutes long, but every second was packed with awe and wonder. Seeing the falls up close gave me a whole new appreciation for their beauty and strength. The crew was friendly, and everything was well-organized and safe. 📍 Tips for Visitors: • Don’t worry about getting wet — embrace it! • Keep your camera or phone waterproofed; the mist is heavy. • Go early morning to avoid long queues. • Hold on to your poncho — it’s a fun souvenir! Overall, the Maid of the Mist is an absolutely must-do experience at Niagara Falls — thrilling, refreshing, and truly unforgettable. 🌊💙🛥️

We traveled by bus from Union bus station to Niagara falls bus station, around 43 CAN/adult. There, we bought another ticket to the falls which was about 10 minutes far by that bus. The scene was breathtaking, especially that it was snowing. We walked around for an hour, took amazing pictures and had some coffee in the adjacent cafe, then came back the same way It is a must experience for those who visit Toronto, and it deserves the effort done to reach the location

A lovely activity where you can see the waterfalls up close from below, making them even more spectacular. Definitely 5 stars for that. However, since it's really just a tunnel with 3 exits, it's over very quickly. For just 15 minutes of fun, I think the price is a bit too high. I'd recommend the boat tour and the Power Station instead.

Behind the falls was great. I'd say the viewing platform was the best part, as the portholes inside the tunnels, while interesting, were not worth the short-ish lineup. They were basically bored-out squares that had a seemingly solid block of water in front of them, so there wasn't much to see, but that's not their fault, haha.

It’s a really nice Tour to see behind this giant masses of water running down the cliff, make sure you do it when it’s warm because there will be water all arround you. They provide coats that you don’t get wet, the tour it self is not guided I believe and you need aprox 30mins to get it done. Make sure you buy tickets in advance because the lines can get long on a busy day

I came here for a lunch buffet. Despite the bad reviews, I gave it a try. I lowered my expectations, so it was just like how I expected. The restaurant reminded me of a dormitory dining hall, extremely noisy and crowded. The food was not as bad as the reviews I read. There are plenty of options, one way or another you will find something to enjoy. It’s relatively cheap, so the price-quality point was good. However, your visit reason shouldn’t be for dining, but for the view and the overall experience. You can definitely find better food around the area, but you can’t always eat on top of the tower. So, I would suggest visiting this place once in your life and one time only.

We came for the views with a relaxed meal experience. We got that absolutely 100%. The food was good, without being brilliant. No complaints. The service was ok, but a little chaotic. The views and revolving restaurant (not the buffet) was what we came for, and what we got as an experience. Its a litle over priced for what you get for sure. We came to Niagara for a once in a lifetime experience, and this restaurant played its part. We also got to experience the views from the observation deck afterwards as well, so overall would do it again, even knowing the rest of what i mention.

While I did not go to the restaurant, I did go for the observation deck and it was so stunning. The view of Niagara Falls is amazing as well as being able to see the Buffalo and Toronto skylines. I highly recommend. The elevator up was also such a cool experience!

Recommended, view is worth it. Food was nice good portions, salmon was really tasty cook perfectly. Service wasn’t good we have two waiters one a girl was nice but the older guy was no patient and kind of rude. But we saw other tables were really happy with services maybe just our luck. Nice place to go, as the CN tower rotates so you can have a 360o view in around one hour period.

We went to the buffet dinner for $55/person. Expensive but beautiful view, food not so good. The rolls were rock hard, the steak/beef was dry and chewy, the chicken had a strange texture. The desserts were basic and slightly bland. The food was very disappointing especially for the cost. We couldn’t get out fast enough. I think we ate about $5 worth of food. None of us finished our plates. I didn’t want to complain because the help was very nice and sweet and I know they didn’t cook it. I would never go to the buffet ever again there but would try the other restaurant instead. The view on the observation deck was amazing! Really fun for the whole family.

How can you describe a revolving restaurant hundreds of feet up in the air with breathtaking views of Niagara Falls?!?! Outstanding service and food for a relatively good price. This is an experience NOT to be missed in Niagara Falls! My dinner companion and I were blown away!!!!

At the top of Skylon Tower, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of Niagara Falls! The breathtaking scenery, combined with the sound of the falls and a gentle breeze, creates an unforgettable experience!! Additionally, you’ll learn about the daring individuals who have attempted to cross the falls and witness the various vehicles they used beyond the barrels, including kayaks and a massive steel ball.

Absolutely stunning, i highly recommend visiting once in your life time. We went during a weekday in September and it was not very crowded. Pretty east walk from one side of the falls to the other (about 30-45 min at a very leisurely pace and stopping for photos.)

This was a bucket list adventure and it was absolutely amazing! The falls are so beautiful and powerful. The scenery is incredible in the park, especially in the fall. We did a boat ride to the falls and we could feel the water spraying up on us as it hit the water below. Of course Canada is just on the opposite bank.

I've seen the falls a few times now, but this was the first time seeing them outside of winter. Waterfalls are mesmerising any season, and autumn is no exception. Incredible sights, beautiful views, absolutely recommend visiting them at least once in your life.

Amazing place. So clean, so beautiful, with the falls accessible day or night. To access the closer parts, like the boat or the tunnel, you'll have to buy a ticket. Our group booked via the hotel. You pay more, but the tour guide/ driver reduces all stress and offers an in depth historical tour to boot. The falls themselves are so beautiful, majestic in size and yet so calming. Nature the way God intended. Incredible views, and the USA side more relaxed compared to the Canadian side. The view of the falls better from Canada overall, but you get up closer from the USA side. Weekends much busier than week days, but worth it no matter what day you choose. All hotels are within 10 minutes walk, so don't worry what one you choose. Free fireworks show at 10pm every night, lasting between 5 and 8 minutes. Spectacular place.

It was Wednesday morning when I arrived at Niagara Falls, and since it was the end of the season, the streets were almost empty. Only a few people, including me, could be seen around the state park or walking along the city roads. The view of Niagara Falls is absolutely breathtaking, and I highly recommend visiting the Shoreline Trail either early in the morning or in the evening.

The Cave of the Winds is absolutely amazing. Worth every penny for this experience. You will get wet. Very wet. Bring water shoes. It starts with a gallery with some history of the Cave and Goat Island. This is followed by a short movie which helps you understand more history of the industries in the past. Then the main event, down to the Decks. The elevators are smaller but it is worth it. You are literally in the flow of both water falls. Just increible. The Hurricane Deck the best part. Go in and get wet. It is safe and the water is super clean. Bicycle racks nearby. Paid parking in effect. Tram stops out front. Get tickets in packages to save money. The path below has been recently repaved and decks have been repaired (Oct 2025). Overall the decks are in very good shape. Free clean washrooms at the top. It can be very busy during the peak season. Do not climb over the barriers. You're a goner. No Free WiFi.

One of best experience in my life! We got very wet because we went all the way to the end. But it was worth it. When else can you experience this? If you go here, go under the waterfall! Gather your courage and go! If it's very windy, wait for the wind to change! Wear non-slip slippers and short clothes so you don't get too wet. It's a wonderful, wonderful experience.

What a cool experience seeing the falls up close! Prepare to get very wet! Even more so than the Maid of the Mist ride! Take your time and be careful walking! Lots of opportunities for great pictures here!

100% a great experience. We loved it!!! We weren’t prepared for how wet we would get but it was worth it. A couple of tips. I brought some sandals in a back pack and that was so nice because my wives shoes got soaked. The poncho they give you is sufficient for keeping you dry unless you have long pants and shoes on. I had shorts on and the bottom half of my shorts got wet. We just paid right at the entrance. It was easy. They take you through a museum that tells you about the history of the falls and you watch a short movie then they take you down the elevator to the walk path. It really didn’t take to long to go through the line and be on the path. You will love it just go.

This is one of the most amazing places in the world! I love those spot! It was and continues being a great part of my love story. It is a magical site that I fully recommend to anyone! Just bear mind that it is definitely better to visit it during weekdays as it is way too crowded during the weekend, which means finding a parking spot may be challenging and the wait times for the attractions may be long and too hot if you visit during the summer!

Beautiful, scenic and relaxing! Stunning views of downtown Toronto en route by ferry to this quaint set of interconnected islands. Lovely boardwalk from Ward’s Island to Centre Island. Clean and lifeguard-supervised swimming area on Centre Island. Cute amusement park and gardens. Spend the day or just a few hours.

Toronto Islands are one of the best places to visit in the city. The view of the skyline from across the water is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Whether it’s summer or fall, the islands are stunning. There are three islands, each with its own charm. You can take a boat to any of them (check the schedule), or grab a water taxi near Harbourfront for a more relaxing ride. The return trip from the island is free even if you didn’t take the ferry. The are a few beaches which are clean and scenic, perfect for summer days. I highly recommend going on a weekday, ideally in the morning to avoid crowds (it can be VERY crowdy on weekends). On weekdays it is quiet, peaceful, and you might feel like you have the whole place to yourself. The best way to explore is by renting a bike through Bike Share. There are lots of them available. There is also a nice boardwalk on the opposite side of the islands (no bikes permitted though). But the best part is of course the iconic view from Centre Island. There are also a few cafes for a quick snack, plenty of picnic spots, lots of water stations. Overall, Toronto Islands are a must-see!

We ended up catching the ferry to Billy Bishop Airport (~10minutes). From there, we walked to Center Island. It was incredibly crowded for a weekday. Prices were high for pretty much everything. The highlights for us were the little farm, where we got to pet the ponies, donkeys, and goats. We caught the ferry back to the mainland maybe 40 minutes after exploring Center Island.

I always have a great time on this island—beautiful nature and delicious food. The only thing I didn’t like this time was that some people were going into the fountain pool, which isn’t allowed. Security should take steps to prevent this.

Visited Toronto Island Park around 3 PM in October with friends. We spent about two hours walking around and watched a beautiful sunset. It was a bit cold, and there isn’t much to do during the colder months besides walking, grabbing a coffee or snack at the small café, or checking out the restaurant that was open. The views of the city and lake were great, but overall it’s a quiet, simple experience in the off-season. Also, in winter the ferry doesn’t reach the main island, so you have to walk about 30 minutes to get there

The planes flying over the water and skyline made it a great experience. We also had a small barbecue there, which added to the fun. Overall, it was a lovely day,good weather, exciting air show, tasty food, and a perfect spot to enjoy nature while still being close to the city.

Beautiful islands to enjoy some quality time with friends and family. It’s an easy ferry ride or water taxi from the harbours. During weekend a very busy place, so a wait for ferry is long. However if you wish to save time, get a water taxi which is quick for some extra dollars. Overall the island is very clean with great sights and activities for everyone. It’s huge with different sides of it. Centre island is the main attraction for a new person or tourist. Easy to walk around or rent a cycle for better experience. Lots of places to get a quick drink or snacks. Lot of signage’s available and its self explanatory. Best views of Toronto skyline from the islands.

Obviously this place has an amazing view. I ordered an old fashioned. It was perfectly made. My food was amazing. I got the multi-course meal that included an appetizer, the main dish, and a dessert. It was definitely on the pricey side. For one person with a good solid tip and of course the alcoholic drink. My total bill was about $160. That said the view is amazing. The service was great. The food was amazing. Absolutely worth every bit of it and it was a great evening to myself with a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend getting reservations and I would also recommend to look and see what time is sunset is and get there about a half hour before

I recently visited the CN Tower with a group of friends on a weekday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We decided to buy our tickets online beforehand, which meant we didn't have to wait in long lines. This definitely helped make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable from the start. The moment we stepped into the lift, the excitement was already building up. The staff in the elevator were not just professional but also incredibly funny and engaging, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to the ride. The fast ascent gave us a sense of anticipation, and the view as we reached the top was nothing short of breathtaking. From the observation deck, the city sprawled beneath us like a living, breathing landscape. The buildings seemed to stretch endlessly, while the cars and vehicles below appeared as tiny moving dots—it's amazing how perspective shifts when you're so high up! The day view was spectacular, offering a clear, panoramic look at Toronto's impressive skyline, and we could see all the way to Lake Ontario. But what really made the experience even more magical was seeing the city transition as the sun began to set. Watching the sky change from golden hues to the deep blues of night, the lights of the city flickering to life below, was truly mesmerizing. We enjoyed the beauty of the tower. We opted for the trip to the top. It's a tad overrated. The clouds at the top made getting good pictures a difficult task. The elevator is super crowded, but very fast. The staff members are kind, respectful and helpful. I think going to the observation deck would have been a better option for us. It is lit beautifully at night from the outside. The glass floor and big beautiful images behind it were fun!

I visited the CN Tower with my family a few years back, and the view from the top is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. You really get to see the city from a whole new perspective. My first time experience here was amazing. The walk to the restaurant is a little bit much but once you are in the building it’s actually pretty neat. You go up the sky lift that gives you amazing views of the city and immediately out of the elevator you are guided and seated to you seat. Now I did make reservations that were honored so I’d recommend making arrangements ahead of time, we were there for a birthday and they accommodated my wishes of acknowledging the special with a cute placard and a special desert for his birthday with a cute placard. The food however was 10/10 I had the lamb shank and grits, with a deconstructed Caesar salad. Everything tasted great even my guys food was good he opted for the seafood route with a lobster style meal and Brussels. I can say 10/10 even our waiter was attentive and helped up pick out items and plan our meal accordingly. I missed his name but he was amazing and well wishes to him. I inquired about if there were any semi sweet wines and he recommended me one and even let me sample it ! Of course it was amazing right from Canadian vineyards which was a plus. I’d definitely recommend if you are okay spending a good penny.

We absolutely loved this experience and we're going to come back to do it again. We enjoyed everything about it. We were able to walk up and buy tickets, there was no wait. I was truly surprised by the size of the tower. The views were incredible and there's an art exhibit. I don't want to give it all away but this was worth every penny.

There were so many activities that kept them entertained and excited the entire time. Everything was well organized, clean, and safe, which made it easy for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back — such a wonderful place for families to make memories together!

Ripley’s Aquarium is an amazing place for families. My son loved watching the stingrays — you can see them from above (bird’s-eye view) in open water, just a few feet away. The kids’ section has a small filtration system for play purposes, where children can learn how water moves through the aquarium. It’s educational, fun, and a great way for kids to explore and understand how filtration works. The place is clean, well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for both kids and adults!

Its a really cool, fairly big aquarium. It was a little cfowdwd, but other than that, it was fun. There were so many decorations and things to see, and unique sea creatures. The kids indoor playground looked fun, and all the tanks were very clean, and the creatures were well maintained. The only problem was the food. I there were more fikd options. The only cafeteria type food place only had a couple crowded tables, and barely had anything on the menu. But that wasnt enough to bring my rating down to a 4 stars, because the aquarium is so great. I love this place.

Awesome for all ages. Plenty of seating arrangements for elders. Touching the sting ray is the best thing as a climax kids can have. My kids had an amazing day. The aquarium has a lot of variety of sea creatures . Moreover the way it has been presented is amazing. Information display is very clear and simple. Its worth the money. Memorable experience.

9:00 a.m. Toronto My CityPASS said I could visit Ripley’s Aquarium anytime, so with an hour to spare before my CN Tower reservation, I decided to head inside. I asked the girl scanning tickets how long it usually took to get through. She told me about an hour and a half. It was Monday morning, and the place was completely empty. It was quiet, the kind of quiet that hums in your chest. Just the low music and the faint whoosh of water cycling through the tanks. The blue light made everything look like it was breathing. I wandered slowly, taking in the small faces of the fish and the strange calm that filled the rooms. There was even a “quiet tent” set up for anyone who needed a break. I understood why. If I had another encounter with that sawfish staring at me like it was judging my entire existence, I’d need it too. For a quick stop, it ended up being one of the most peaceful hours of my trip so far.

It was nice, but honestly, $56 for adults and $38 for children is way too expensive for what you offer. There were no glow fish, no dolphins, and not even a dolphin show. For the amount you charge, at least include some impressive or unique marine life that makes the visit feel worth the money. They seriously needs to improve its exhibits or reconsider its pricing it feels more like a tourist trap than an educational experience.

One of the best Aquariums I have ever gone to. Great tour of the water life in Lake Ontario, this place taught me a lot about the creatures in the water. They have a great jellyfish exhibit which has glow in the dark jellyfish under blacklight which was an amazing experience. If you have never visited this aquarium I highly recommend you check this place out!

Since it wasn’t too crowded, I got to take my time exploring the galleries and really enjoy each section. The dinosaur exhibits were super impressive — they’re definitely a highlight. I also loved the cultural displays from different parts of the world, especially the Asian and Egyptian sections. There’s just so much to see that a few hours didn’t feel enough. The architecture of the building itself is also worth appreciating — the mix of classic and modern design makes it feel unique. The staff were friendly, and everything was well-organized and clean. Overall, it’s such a great spot for anyone visiting Toronto or even locals who haven’t been in a while. Whether you’re into history, art, or science, there’s something for everyone. I left feeling both entertained and a little smarter — totally worth it! We will visit again with my family.

The Royal Ontario Museum, Canada’s most famous museum, is located in the heart of Toronto. With its vast exhibition halls and impressive collections, this place stands as a true fortress of culture. Opened in 1914, the museum displays more than 18 million works of art from different regions and time periods around the world. These works are showcased in dozens of diverse galleries such as dinosaurs, birds, the Middle East, China, Egypt, toy soldiers, and world treasures. It’s not possible to explore the Royal Ontario Museum in just a few hours. Therefore, if you have the time, I recommend dedicating at least a full day — or ideally two days — to visiting the museum.

Easy to go with the city pass but if you can become a member, there will be many exhibitions that you will also be allowed to go to. You can easily spend 2-3 hrs just walking around. Some cakes, and beverages are also available on the ground floor for a small break. Some sections were really cool. Especially recommend the gems section. Unfortunately, dinosaur’s section was closed until first week of December.

It was an absolutely amazing museum. The exhibits were nicely curated, the artifacts were lovely. The biggest downside was how noisy it was, there was a live performance in the lobby and it took away from the atmosphere that the museum had, I also wish they made it clear as to which area was heavily kid oriented, or else I wouldn’t have spent so much time on the second floor when I could’ve been on the third floor actually seeing the stuff I really wanted to see and learn about. But that being said the areas they have for kids is very well done and the kids there seemed to be having a great time learning. I loved the Greek and Roman section of the museum and paying to see saints, sinners and lovers was very worth it. Absolutely stunning paintings, you could see the brush strokes and the tiny details on the canvases. The ROM was a lot of fun.

We visited the museum on a snowy Sunday afternoon, there was no waiting for the tickets, 35 CAN/adult person. Staff were friendly, ready to explain and direct. The ground floor included marvelous pieces from China and some from Korea. Last floor for the European and Egyptian cultures. We took more than 2 hours, but we could not visit it all. Beautiful experience for a neat museum

There's a lot going on here. If you are really into museums and want to look at most things then plan to spend four or more hours here. There's dedication to natural history for animals and civilizations. Good assortment of unique pieces. There is a lot of pottery, more than you'd think for sure. The collection of Greek and Roman busts is impressive along with the number of tombs. The dinosaur exhibit wasn't able to be fully seen due to renovations.

Family and I went to this amazing St.Lawrence Market and it was so many shops inside for whatever you need. It had amazing Food options and so many Meats options also. What are the unique thing is how different culture kind of meat and cheese and fruits that were in this Market. The food was so fresh anywhere you tried to eat because it was made fresh right away. We try the pizza place and it was very delicious. The only reason why I give it a four star is because it would have been nice to see some Halal Options in Market as it had None and we had to find Cheese pizza to eat. Also bathroom could been cleaner! Overall Very Amazing and Unique Market to visit.

If you would love to visit local market as a tourist, this is the place to go! It has nice market atmosphere and I see long queue at many shops in the market by locals. It also cater both raw and ready to eat food. So you can buy beef steak to cook in your homestay or buy ready to eat food. Variety range from meat to seafood to fruits to bread to tarts to desserts and even maple syrup! Beautiful atmosphere and nice yummy food.... A nice brunch place and market!

Had a terrific time spending the day browsing St Lawrence Market. Bought an amazingly creative bouquet of flowers to brighten our hotel room. Had a delicious charcuterie lunch made from purchasing items from various vendors. Dessert was the largest berries we’ve ever seen, sweet, juicy, and delicious! Bought some pork belly to bring home after our trip. Purchased wines, a few souvenirs for our kids, generally had a nice day browsing through the enormous market. For reference I’d say it is about six times the size of Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Pretty much every visitor to Toronto knows this market. It's in a class of its own among public markets. Think about the scale, the vibe, the amazing selection and quality of products. You can even eat and drink while you shop—how great is that? On a nice day (if it's not too cold), the outdoor patio is the place to be. It's spacious, with pigeons wandering around, and another market is just across the street. Picture this: you're eating a lobster roll or pasta, feeding the pigeons, enjoying the scenery, and chatting with friends. What a fantastic scene!

A nice place to visit, lots of options for fancy goods, food particularly seafoods, meats, cheese, backed delicacies, sweets and farm produce. Liked the bright, happy vibe and roaming carefree environment. It was Christmas buying time, it added colourfulness. Good for buying souvenirs too.

This is probably the best market in town for fresh produce and so much more. For example, you can indulge yourself in all things protein in many shops on the main floor. If you feel more adventurous, you might want to check out the seafood stalls as well. My vegetarian friends will also find their delights. This is one of the oldest and simply best places in Toronto for the freshest food possible. I feel blessed to live nearby and be able to take advantage of this privilege to get the food of my choice at anytime. I especially love the lamb chops and marinated chicken breasts 😊 Highly recommended to all foodies living downtown Toronto.

Wonderful experience of the oldest market in Canada! There was a booth that has been there since before Canadas birth! The main floor is where fresh food is sold. The lower level has all the international flavours… will visit again. Lively atmosphere… need sitting area in winter. Has a mini-museum in lowest level where the jail used to be.

What really stood out was the variety of dining options from quick bites to full meals, there’s no shortage of places to refuel between shopping. I also appreciated the spacious layout, which made navigating through the mall easy and enjoyable, even during busy hours. Beyond shopping and food, Vaughan Mills has entertainment and family-friendly attractions, making it more than just a retail destination. It’s truly a one-stop spot for a full day of shopping, eating, and exploring. If you're in the area and looking for a well-rounded shopping experience, Vaughan Mills is definitely worth a visit!

Large indoor outlet mall that is quite unique in design in comparison to other malls in the Toronto area. Some outlet stores will offer better discounts and clearance products in comparison to the same stores in other malls. It can be tough to find parking at busy times. They only have 4 J1772 chargers which is not sufficient for a mall of this size. Tesla owners also use them instead of superchargers - go figure.

Very good place to shope branded products at reduced prices. Well ranges of various products are there. I would say very best place with your family and spent whole day. A big food court is there to provide different types of cuisine with comfortable seating spaces.

This outlet mall is one of the best shopping destinations around. It’s a huge indoor mall with a wide variety of stores, from basic everyday brands to luxury names, offering something for everyone. The collections are updated and the outlet prices are definitely worth it, making shopping here a great value. Since it’s fully indoors, we can visit any time of the year without worrying about the weather, which is very convenient. We make it a point to visit at least once a month and always enjoy the experience. A must-visit mall for outlet shoppers!

Probably one of Not the biggest mall if ever been to. It’s so huge. But you can find everything there. We spend almost 5 hours in there and easily took 20000 steps. Good selection of everything. There could be more toilettes though. I don’t wanna walk 10min inside for a pee. Anyway, nice experience

What a joyful experience! Legoland was full of color, creativity, and smiles at every turn. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was perfect for both kids and adults to feel like little adventurers again. Everything from the rides to the Lego builds was so well thought out. We made some beautiful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for families looking to spend a magical day together!

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre has been on our to-do list for a while now, and we finally visited it! We were not disappointed. First, we were surprised by how big it was, considering it’s part of the mall. Second, there were so many activities to choose from. The admission includes a laser shooting ride, a jump around ride, four rotating 4D short films, a large play structure with slides, and many Lego stations. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Our visit to LEGOLAND was absolutely fantastic! It’s a great place for kids and families to enjoy together. From the moment you enter, you're surrounded by vibrant colors, incredible LEGO creations, and a fun, creative atmosphere. The rides, building zones, and themed areas were all well-designed and super engaging for the kids. There’s something for everyone — from exciting rides to hands-on building stations and 4D movies. It’s not just entertaining but also sparks creativity and imagination, making it a perfect day out for LEGO fans of all ages. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. Our kids are already asking when we can go back! It’s definitely worth the visit, especially if your child is into LEGO. The only downside is that the price is a bit high for a single visit, particularly for bigger families. It would be great if there were more affordable ticket options or passes. That said, the memories made there are priceless. If you’re considering going to LEGOLAND, we highly recommend it — it’s fun, creative, and perfect for a family day out. We’ll definitely be back!

I highly recommend visiting LegoLand in Canada. It takes around 3-4 hours, but it’s worth it. You can eat there, but I saw people bringing their own lunch boxes. They also offer Starbucks. We went on the Adult night and had a lot of fun. The murder mystery, silent auction and the fact you served beer was great! I even climbed throuh the indoor play centre 🤣. Movies, V.R. and lots and lots of lego to play around with. We had a really fun night!

Great for Kids! Can easily spend two to three hrs.. 4D cinemas is great and so some fun rides inside. Play area and coffee shop for little bites.

I have been going for a couple of years whether it be with family or friends and I always have a great time. This year was the first time I went in the fall — for Halloween haunt and let me tell you the vibes, decoration were way better. (Also fewer line ups) this year I went to the conjuring limited edition maze and I loved how interactive and fun it was. They did a great job. Do recommend

Cons: Overpriced and overrated. Parking is expensive, and food options inside are mostly unhealthy and way too costly for what you get. The overall experience doesn’t match the high ticket and food prices. Definitely not worth it for what’s offered; 1 out of 5. Pros: I visited Canada’s Wonderland this past summer and spent a full day enjoying both the rides and the water park. It was a hot day, so I started with Splash Works; the water area was lively but not overwhelming. There are several pools and slides for every age, and it’s a great place to cool off. The wave pool was a highlight, and there were plenty of shaded spots and chairs to relax between rides. After the water park, I explored the rest of the park and went on a few of the main roller coasters. The sight of the massive tracks and loops from a distance still makes the park feel impressive every time you visit. The atmosphere is energetic but family-friendly; with lots of music, food stands, and people having fun. I ended the day near the main fountain and mountain area, which looks especially beautiful in the sunlight. The water and landscaping give it a resort feel, and it’s a perfect spot to take photos before leaving. Overall, it was a great summer day; well organized, clean, and full of energy. If you plan ahead and arrive early, you can easily make the most of both the water park and the rides.

My husband and I went for the first time during Halloween Haunt on Halloween because we purchased a gold pass from a different amusement park. We got to try a Beaver Tail - Avalanche flavor and it was delicious! The level of detail that went into designing the Halloween Haunt was impressive. The decorations were awesome, there was specially named and unique food options, and there were different themed areas with actors dressed up in scary costumes. One area there were all zombies and another had clowns. The actors were clearly having a good time scaring people and it was sometimes entertaining to just watch them scare other parkgoers. It was also possible to bypass these areas if you didn't want to get scared. There was a freak show, a fire spinning show, and music performances throughout the night. We didn't opt to buy the extra pass to enter the haunted mazes - mainly because I'm not a fan. I rode a few coasters because there was no wait, but it was quite chilly. It was still exhilarating and a lot of fun. We will definitely be back when it is a bit warmer.

This place is fun, but a bit scary with the height of the rides. It is not for the doubtful patrons. Rides are going upside down over your head as you walk around in the park. Every one should try going to wonderland at least once in their lives. You don't have to buy a season pass, just a day pass will do the trick. However, if you are a lover of these Rides buy a seasonal pass. You can also add meal pass to the mix. It will work out very well the kids love to go to this amusement park 😀 there is everything for everyone from babies to adults. Sometimes you will be entertained with fireworks. Check it out! 🔥

Canada's Wonderland is probably one of the most famous Staples in Ontario to go visit, it's lots of fun. Great place to go spend time with the family. I have memories from this place from when I was a kid and now I bring my own kids, Roller coasters are always my favorite and they have some of the best roller coasters I've ever been on. While this place does get very busy and crowded I have yet to found a good day to go where it's not very crowded Prices are very expensive for tickets and if you don't want to wait in line then you have to pay an enormous amount of money in my book for speed passes and then if you want to ride the big roller coasters for the speed pass you have to pay even more money for on VIP speedpass, The water park has lines just as long as the rides. It is very crowded and busy there as well in the summer, Halloween haunt was lots of fun when I was a kid but after covid everything's changed and from what I hear now you have to pay and buy a special pass just to go into all the haunted houses now because the haunted houses were the favorite part of this event in my book. Although riding a roller coaster in the dark is pretty fun as well

Canada’s Wonderland is fun for kids, but the experience feels more like a money trap than a family park. The atmosphere is designed to highlight thrills and fun, but underneath it’s clear the priority is profit, not guests. Parking is $39.99, food and drinks are overpriced, and water access is limited to old fountains or dirty sinks. You can’t bring in much from outside, yet security checks are inconsistent—sometimes too strict, sometimes too lax, raising safety concerns. Customer service is lacking; staff rarely smiled or welcomed guests. Ride wait times stretch 1–2 hours unless you pay $179.99 per person for Fast Lane Plus, which doesn’t even include all rides despite the marketing. My kids had a great time, but they weren’t the ones paying. For what I spent in one day, I could have taken a family trip down south. The park succeeds at creating a “fun” image, but in reality, it’s a polished price-gouge. If you want true value and enjoyment, a small-town festival will give you more smiles, less stress, and far better bang for your buck.

We are absolutely thrilled with Wonderland! 🌟 This park is a true wonder for the whole family. We visited it with our kids about 15 times this year, and each visit was a unique adventure. The park is incredibly well-designed, with bright and colorful rides that bring so much joy and excitement to both children and adults. We especially loved the extreme roller coasters, which are packed with adrenaline, as well as the calmer, fun carousels perfect for the little ones. Every corner of the park is filled with a magical atmosphere — from the well-kept green pathways to the vibrant decorations and themed areas. Wonderland is a place where you can fully immerse yourself in magic, joy, and fun. There’s something for everyone here: whether it’s thrilling rides, beautiful photo spots, or just enjoying quality time together as a family. We will definitely keep coming back again and again! 🎢🎡✨

Fun tour with informative tour guide. It's definitely worth checking out if interested in the history of the man made cave. Wish there was better light in some locations of cave as I tripped over a metal chain. Other than that my little family had a fun experience!

I enjoyed this tour. It's not a natural cave but rather a penstock tunnel. Worth seeing, and you get a nice impression of the lock. Great to pair with a cruise on the canal. Tour guy was extremely friendly and nice. Management seemed to have an odd vibe. But highly recommend.

Unique experience well worth the drive from Niagara Falls! Kat was our guide and she was awesome! Great energy and sense of humor along with awesome knowledge of the history and inner workings of the locks and caves. Highly recommend!

We are visiting from MD and saw this Halloween Lantern evening tour, it was alot of fun in spite of the cold, rainy weather. The guide was funny and knowledgeable, and recognized the need to get us out of the rain and cold as soon as she could into the cave, yet still give all of the information she was supposed to. My only wish is that there was just a little more light to actually see the inside of the cave, and cut back on the fog machines because we could barely see enough to walk safely. It was still lots of fun and I appreciated them giving us the option to take the tour scheduled before the one we had tickets for. This is a family friendly tour, but I would like to put out there that there are quite a few steps to climb and alot of walking and needing to keep pace with your group. If you have any health issues, take that into consideration for your own comfort. Also, be sure to tip these guys and gals. Our poor guide was soaked and freezing and still kept going with a sense of humor.

We were the last tour prior to the boat accident. No problems. Kyle was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and paying attention to every detail.

This was an amazing experience. From learning about Lockport's early history to traversing the underground water tunnels. Our guide for the trip was Tony. He made the tour very interactive and injected humor into his repertoire of facts and historical deeds. I highly recommend this tour if you love history or the old lore surrounding the Erie canal. Very well done.

Lots of history to learn and very cool sights to see. Start off walking along the canal to the cave entrance. Into the cave walking and then to the boat ride at the end. With all a lot of stops as the guide tells the history. Kyle was great! Definitely a must go and also can see all the canal locks and history after the tour.

We came here on a weekend to shop and it was pretty ok in terms of walk in traffic, not very crowded which I liked. The outlet offers a wide range of stores in almost every category. It has most of the top clothing brands. However, there is a lack of luxury brands which might be due to the further location form main cities. The whole outlet design, in terms of stores, is pretty nice and spacious. There is a small space for food court and sitting, which compared to the outlet size might come out a bit small. There is not enough seats and tables for the amount of traffic they host daily. Also, the variety of food is not that good. This could have had some better food brands to bring more variety. There is a tim hortons, which is a staple in every food court and is good. There is plenty of free parking outdoor and its usually easy to find a spot even when its busy. Washrooms are also pretty clean and stocked up as well. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, however, I might find pretty more well located and more varied outlets around the city than this one, so coming back might not be an option.

Great place to shop with excellent options for name brands and designer clothing. There is plenty of parking and it is ideally located off the highway exit. A cool place to shop.

If you're heading north of Toronto, it’s a must-stop. I always leave with something I love and never regret the drive. Almost all brands have a branch here like Coach, Nike, Puma, Tommy, Calvin Clain ... Parking is free and there’s always plenty of space. It’s family-friendly and feels safe and welcoming whether you're just browsing or out on a serious shopping mission.

A short visit to Tanger Outlets Cookstown is a well-regarded shopping center with a wide variety of stores, dining options, and amenities. Its convenient location near major highways makes it easily accessible for a day trip from Barrie or the Greater Toronto Area.

There are lots of major brands factory outlets with good deals. The collection is good. Space is sparely crowded so one can shop peacefully. The common sizes are easily available and in stock at most stores. Food opts are not much but if needed you can grab a quick bite.

I am their customer since 2017. I went there almost 3 times a year. They have very good deals most of the time. They changed the Tanger application recently so new app is much better than the old one. The new customer evaluation and rewards system is much better. The deals in the new app is really fantastic. The Under Armour and Columbia always has a good deal. The Mall is very clean and quiet. The only thing I believe they can improve is the number and verify of the restaurant and fast food. I highly recommend.

I love this park. You have it all. It has a beautiful trail along Holland River. Park is specious and you can picnic. It’s great for kids. Great for walking pets. It’s great to spend time with friends and family there. It’s also beside Main Street in Newmarket so you have access to all amazing coffee shops, restaurants and stores. Its a very beautiful park. Just next to downtown. The trees, tracks everything is super nice. Cyclist track is also there. Autumn season colors are the best here.

2022 October 4★ Fairly lake park runs along the river and as such, has multiple bridge crossings. The park is part of the Tom Taylor Trail which runs about 7 or 8 kilometres North to South. Within the park, you'll come across gazebos, benches and Kilometre Trail Markers. There's markers use natural elements, art is inspired by the environment and the native Ojibwe ancestors. 10 trail markers in total will enhance your experience and help track your journey along our trail system. Free Parking within the park or along the side streets. A playground nearby.

It was early December and it was overcast. It was not busy on a weekday Friday. Went along the east side of the lake, continued after the first bridge, to the boardwalk. Crossed the second bridge, then came back from the west side of the lake. The loop was pretty short and easy.

Also known as Wesley Brooks Conservation Area is a great place for everyone. However, need to be careful of the cyclists as a lot of them are just going way too fast even though the paths are so supposed to be shared with everyone. Yet I had to pull my kids over many times because they don't even slow down or stop even for little kids. Some don't even give warnings that they are coming. Still the kids enjoyed the boardwalk and the playground.

A big lake park with so much greenery and biking space. You get to see Canada goose and their poop ( be careful not to stamp on) all around you. Fortunately we saw the Beaver hanging around the pool that connects the two sides of the park. Play zone is quite beautiful.

Beautifully manicured and a trail big enough for walking, biking and other summer activities. There is a lot of wild life around and tree coverage. It's a beautiful spot to walk - dog friendly as well!

I visited on a very hot summer day and unfortunately many of the animals were either hiding in the shade or sleeping, which made it harder to see them. I was especially excited to see the polar bears, but they were resting during my visit. The zoo itself is quite large, and it can easily take half a day to explore all the different sections. I think going in the fall would be a better experience since the weather is cooler and the animals are likely to be more active and visible. Despite the heat, I really enjoyed walking through the different areas, and my favorite part of the zoo was definitely the Africa section with its wide variety of animals and beautiful setting. Overall, it was a fun visit and I would recommend it, but the timing of the season can make a big difference in what you get to see.

For food, the park is very well-equipped, with plenty of snack bars, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a Tim Hortons. However, you can bring your own food, as the park has picnic tables. The park has excellent facilities for visitors with disabilities, with paved streets without potholes, access ramps, staff support, and accessible restrooms. The park also has lockers, where you can rent and leave your belongings. Along with all the animal facilities, the zoo also has a splash pad that opens in spring and closes in the first weeks of fall, a zip line, a carousel, and souvenir shops. The tour is very cool, and everyone is sure to be delighted.

Toronto Zoo is a great place for families. Even though there is construction happening right now and a few animals are not available to see, it’s still absolutely worth visiting. The zoo is clean, spacious, and well organized. My son enjoyed the kids’ learning areas and interactive displays. Friendly staff, lots of walking paths, and plenty of spots to relax. A great outdoor experience for kids and adults — we’ll definitely visit again!

I haven't been to the zoo in 30 years! My one year old grandchild was in awe and it brought back wonderful memories of visiting with his mother. I loved how clean it was and the hospital was pretty amazing. The staff were most helpful too. A great day had by all.

Overall great place. The only reason I removed a star is because, although I understand many of the animals not being out because November is cold, in the canadian area there were supposed to be 6 animals out and we were only able to see 3 of them. That was definitely not worth the absurdly steep hill we had to climb on our way back. That was the only downside of the experience. Loved the place though.

We hadn't been to the zoo in over a decade. Though we got there relatively early in the day, we ended up skipping the whole Canadian section for two reasons: time, and the sheer amount of walking we would have had to do. The day we went, the Capybaras were also block off (or at least we could not figure out how to get to them). A tad disappointing for one of our party. I think that some of the signs were a tad difficult to follow, even with a map to help guide us. There was also limited staff on the premises with visitors, so there wasn't really anyone we could ask other than other visitors. I strongly encourage the following: 1. Buy your tickets in advance. If buying on location, make sure to show your presto card for a discount. 2. Bring food and water. You will get hungry, and as with all day long trips you will need to refresh and fuel yourself. 3. Bring a good camera. You're not particularly close to any of the animals in outdoor enclosures (understandable), so if you wish to take pictures, make sure you bring your best camera or phone. 4. Make note of washrooms. There are a good number of them, but you do have to walk a good little while between each one.

It is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends. We had a good time seeing all Fall colors and walking around. While animals in captivity is bad, it is still important to understand them and value their importance in our lives. They have so many different species of all kinds of animals. Some animals are always resting so you don't get to see them always. You have to pay $20 for the parking and the tickets are extra. They have plenty of parking though. Definitely recommend visiting once.

This is a very nice park for anyone to enjoy. We went for a long walk right on the waterfront and stopped to workout at the outdoor workout stations along the way. There are benches and washrooms available. Parking is easy and close to the walking path. From the park there are many coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. There was a large playground for children as well.

Nice beach front in Barrie city, every year during the civic holiday in August, they have the Kempenfest festival and it is such a nice weekend long event. Nice concerts, food, crafts and much more!

A wonderful and quiet place in the heart of the city with a variety of views and sports. Lush green lawn, basketball courts, a wide range of watersport activities, beautiful trails and lot more. If you are a peace loving person who likes to prefer quite place with nice views, you won't be disappointed either. Very well planned and maintained park

Beautiful park for all ages and various outdoor activities. Cost of parking is 10.00 per hour, the park is well maintained. Highly recommend for anyone passing through Barrie to stop by and visit this park, with or without kids.

My mom and I attended a Film Tour led by Parkwood this weekend. It was so much fun and so well organized! The tour was for one of our favourite shows, The Way Home, which has scenes filmed at Parkwood Estate. The tour took us to filming spots across Durham region and speakers from each municipality would share information about filming in their city/town. We were provided a coach bus, lots of food, and awesome behind the scenes details. People even drove/flew in from the States to attend. It was certainly a day to remember!

Parkwood Estate in Oshawa is a stunning historic venue — every part of the property feels timeless and elegant. The gardens, stone architecture, and natural light make it one of the most beautiful places in Durham Region for proposals, weddings, and portraits. This photo was captured at what many might think is the “back” of the estate, but it’s actually one of the main entrances — and it created the perfect romantic backdrop for a surprise proposal. The photography permit is very reasonable considering the estate’s history and charm, and it’s more affordable than many other venues of this caliber. Beautiful ground with parking but be there early in the morning as it’s busy on the weekends specially during the weekend. There are guided tours or like me I just walk around by myself. Also check if there’s a scheduled events to help your experience. There’s a Tea House/Restaurant and a Gift shop. Also 2 washroom locations, by the gift-shop and just behind the Mansion. The garden is so beautiful and well maintained.

Really beautiful place! Definitely take the tour — there’s so much to explore inside the house. It’s fascinating to see how the wealthy lived in the 1920s, with features that many of our modern homes still don’t have. What stood out most is how, when you have money, everything can be custom-made exactly the way you want it. A must-visit for history, design, and architecture lovers.

The garden & surrounding areas were nice, well maintained; the washrooms clean ! The tea restaurant was just regular, had other expectations like tea in Victorian times ; the website it said you can enter the house, then when we got there found out there is a fee around $20 per person and is only scheduled for certain times; parking was free

This place is truly a hidden gem. We had a lovely afternoon tea & our server Amit was super attentive and charming. Grounds beautiful and so well taken care of. Staff was super friendly, made us feel welcome and thanked us for coming from Hamilton & Niagara. Was truly our pleasure! 🤩 Wonderful experience all around.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant inside the Great Blue Heron. The food was absolutely worth it—flavorful, warm, and generously portioned. The servings were more than sufficient hat my family and I were able to share, making it even more enjoyable. The plating was well done, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. On top of that, the service was excellent—the staff was incredibly polite, helpful, and welcoming. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend, the only suggestion we have is additional food on the menu if possible.

It smells very musty upon entering, the hotel is very outdated. I understand since this is on a property with a casino the owners may not want to include any amenities, but since this is the only fairly decent hotel in Port Perry that is pet friendly we stayed here. Almost $400 a night, no meals included, no pool, it took a long time for the room to cool down (no air conditioning running when we went in the room) We weren’t interested in the casino; we wanted to visit beautiful Port Perry on our last stop of our week long road trip. Port Perry didn’t disappoint, but this motel did. It’s too bad. They could really take advantage of being a large hotel in a beautiful area.

Clean, beautiful rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff. Complimentary morning coffee in the Eatery is robust and flavourful. Restaurant in the Casino serves amazing meals - generous portions - delicious.

NO WIFI. good experience, casino entry for ID is an unnecessary interrogation. I’m 36 and Asian, felt targeted just for looking Asian and the other ethnic bodies just walked in. But I had a good time either way. Lots of parking and slot machines were nice. Some table games. No water or drinks in sight. Couldn’t even find a place to signup for the membership. Would only come back really if I’m in the area, it’s very remote.

The room was clean and welcoming. A card and chocolates were left on the bed for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The service at the restaurant was impeccable and the food was fantastic. The casino staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend. We will go back on our next trip to Canada!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. They have a room where you can get coffee for free in the morning. I think they should also offer some orange and apple juice for the none coffee or tea drinkers. The staff are great! As far as the casino goes, it could be better. I don't expect to win, but I would like to be able to play, please.

We visited the Casino. We hadn’t been to it in over a decade. It appears that they’ve renovated since then as the interior looked different from how I remember. Staff was nice, however I felt the casino had a lot of slot machines (which isn’t unusual) and then some blackjack tables. They had two roulette tables, but only one operating. I swear they used to have more. The roulette table was crowded by what looked like regulars. It didn’t feel welcoming or easy access, so I just left. For a 45 min drive to Port Perry, I’m not sure I’ll be back.

We had a great time! Our room was upgraded to a jr suite, which was awesome. It was huge, comfortable and very nice. The pool area and sauna/steam rooms were perfect after a long day of walking the casino floor. The property was really nice too, lots of apple trees down the walking trail.

Amazing resort. I am not much for gambling, but really enjoy the concert venue. Rooms are beautiful, very clean and spacious. Great staff. Food at Match Restaurant is excellent (we didn’t get to try the others). Tim’s on site is open 24 hrs. Lovely shops as well featuring local indigenous artists. Well worth the drive!

The hotel is very nice, and decorated beautifully. Room was large and clean. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, some at reasonable prices. I'm not really a casino person but it seemed ok but hate to see live dealers replaced with machines on craps and roulette.

Rama Casino is definitely one of the best casinos in Ontario. It’s a great spot for entertainment and enjoyment, especially for spending weekends. The gaming platforms are exciting, and if played properly, there’s a good chance of getting returns and having fun at the same time. The only area I’d say could improve is the complimentary drinks — taste-wise, they aren’t the best quality. Otherwise, everything else is excellent. Overall, I would give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars.

And to Kory, whose big heart and kindness in the office made us feel so welcome from the very start. The whole team is genuine, caring, and full of love for what they do. The Behind the Scenes experience was simply magical we got to feed lions, pet a wolf, hug a fox, and feed lemurs! My kids got plush animals from the souvenir shop that they’ve been hugging nonstop they’re already inseparable with them ❤️ We can’t recommend Jungle Cat World enough. It’s more than a zoo, it’s a place full of heart. We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying at the on-site lodge, especially since guests can visit the park after hours and see how the animals are at night. A must-try for families and animal lovers! 🐾

We had such an amazing time, the behind the scenes experience was a dream come true! If you're looking for a fancy zoo, this is not the place for you. BUT if you are looking for a place where you can tell the people love their jobs and the animals they work with this is the place. You get up close with the animals without spending a fortune. You don't have to hope you will see the animals because they are right there, they even have animals just walking around like Mikey the donkey and beautiful peacocks. This place is definitely a hidden treasure. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a different kind of animal experience.

Had a blast with the kids! We got to watch the lions and wolves be fed, interact with the free roaming alpacas and donkey, and the bunnies were asking for pets. The peahen and chicks were shy but still came around. The playground was a lot of fun for the kids. The food there was good and well priced. I would highly suggest a visit.

Friendly, helpful staff and the zookeepers feeding the animals were informative and entertaining. They mentioned they act as a sanctuary to accept any animals which other zoos did not plan to have and cannot accommodate. Can bring in your own food and drinks hut don’t feed them to the animals. Lots of shaded benches to sit and eat. There are tiki umbrellas providing shade for the tables outside the restaurant. Also there are many tables and chairs in the area next to the restaurant in the covered area. Enclosed areas are small for the large lions, tigers, pumas, etc. but animals looked healthy. Peacocks, ducks, geese, alpacas roam free around the zoo. Can buy food to feed the birds and alpacas. Fun playground for kids with climbing structures, mountain with tunnels, slide and squeaky, vintage metal teeter totters.

This past weekend we visited Jungle Cat World for a behind the scenes experience. My father and son participated while my daughter and I followed along and explored the rest of the zoo. The staff were INCREDIBLE in making sure we felt welcomed and educated on the experience we had paid for. The tour guides were exceptional!! They helped to take a ton of photos so my dad and son have memories to share and show the rest of our family. It was so much fun, and a highly recommended gift to give someone!! We picked any 3 of the massive list of animals they had, and the staff were more than accommodating if we wanted to change our minds the day-of. We will definitely be back, especially for another behind the scenes.

Prowl in the Park at Jungle Cat World was an absolutely incredible experience! We, from Shack In The Back Designs, had an amazing time and were thoroughly impressed by the organization and the staff. The dedication to wildlife education and the care of the animals is truly evident in every interaction.
