Zoos provide an amazing chance to connect with wildlife that we otherwise wouldn’t be able to see without traveling across the world. Most of them do their best to provide habitats that give animals humane treatment and a safe place to roam with as much space as possible. Designed as part of the South Mountain Reservation located in West Orange on just 20 acres, Turtle Back Zoo is managed as part of the Essex County Park System. Tickets were easily gotten by visiting their website for a Saturday visit. Upon arrival as first-timers, parking was well organized and free. The zoo is not huge, but there is a decent amount of walking, so if one goes, be sure to wear comfy shoes. Water misters were set up throughout the park to help cool off on hot days. It’s recommended to start at the top of the zoo or top of the hill and work your way down. There were plenty of interesting animals to see from all continents except Antarctica, such as flamingos, condors, bald eagles, penguins, giraffes, etc. Seasonal exhibits (butterfly and bird tents) require an additional fee. They have a touch tank featuring stingrays. My partner and I stopped by Savanna Cafe for lunch (no outside food allowed inside). The food varies from burgers, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, and chicken tenders to salads and ice cream. We decided on chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, ice cream, and water. It was decent, served its purpose, but was pricey. This is a must-take fun for any age classic New Jersey day trip, which we can recommend.

Had a fantastic time at the turtle back zoo!!! i went with my brother. we hadn’t been since we were little children and it was so much fun to rediscover the zoo as adults. i recommend getting there early, parking was free and we drove right in. no lines! which was fantastic. they had lots of different areas to see and it was a great time overall. a lovely day activity for any animal lovers.

You cannot beat the price per person on a weekend to enter this Very nice zoo! Stop by if you love animals and take a look at all the beautiful wildlife that lives here !! The zoo is very clean and the staff is so helpful and kind , consistently walking around the property to make sure the animals are good and the customers have any questions or concerns there is always a staff member near by , you can also pet and feed the cownose stingrays which is very cool! I highly recommend stopping in to this amazing zoo!

Great zoo! Parked in their garage for free. The animals were beautiful, and the design of the facility and habitats is very impressive. Very kid and stroller friendly. The staff we came upon throughout the park were very nice and friendly. The kids burned some energy at the cool prehistoric playground. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Had a wonderful time! Just don't go during afternoon in the summer. Most animals would be taking a nap or hiding in the shade to cope with the afternoon heat. Make sure you have water with you, you also need to cope with the walking and afternoon heat. A lot of folks brought outside food and snacks, which I thought was a great idea as there's not many options. Not as many exhibits or diversity as Bronx zoo but still very lovely, less crowded and charming. My favorite was the Giraffe and red panda exhibit. You can also feel the giraffe and the birds for couple extra bucks, if you choose to.

I made my second trip back to Turtle Back Zoo recently after quite a long break, and it was a mix of nostalgia and new discoveries. The layout has expanded, and there’s definitely more to see but also more walking! Each themed area feels like its own little world, which makes the journey between them fun, even if your feet start to protest by the end. I remembered the peacocks roaming freely last time, so it was a bit surprising not to see them this time around. Still, the variety of animals is impressive from big cats to reptiles. Depending on the weather, a lot of them were lounging in the shade, which made spotting them a bit tricky. One of the highlights was feeding the giraffes such a cool, up close moment that made the visit feel extra special. There are also plenty of spots to grab snacks, rest, and take photos, which came in handy since I was snapping way more pictures this time. Whether you're going with family, friends, or just looking for a peaceful day outdoors, Turtle Back Zoo offers a great mix of education, entertainment, and nature. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely worth the visit especially if you haven’t been in a while.

I have the luxury of homeschooling my daughter and so we invested in the yearly membership for the zoo so we can come every single week. We love the train, feeding the stingrays and watching keepers doing animal feedings. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. They genuinely seem excited talking about what they do and it feels great knowing the people taking care of the animals love what they do. The new vet building is totally amazing if you’re able to catch it while they are caring for animals. We were able to watch check ups being performed on baby emus, it was so cool!

I visited this park about 8 years ago. I was impressed then, and I'm even more impressed now. An excellent variety of rides spread throughout the park can keep families and thrill seekers equally entertained. Food quality here seems to be a bit better than other Six Flags parks I've visited. The landscaping and green space are very well done throughout the park, and actually improved since 8 years ago. It's simply beautiful to look at in most places. Families will really appreciate some of the "quiet spaces" to sit in the shade while others are on nearby rides. The left side of the park around El Toro looks like it's getting ready to go through some redevelopment, so I'm very excited to see what Six Flags does after seeing the improvements everywhere else in the park. The employees who work here are also the best you'll find in any Six Flags park. The only thing I don't understand is, why is there such a huge difference in the quality of the experience you get between here and Six Flags New England?

We went on halloween, they had the fright fest.. It was fun, the place is clean, organized and has alot of services and amenities.. We faced an issue with our tickets and passes, but the guest services employees were so welcoming, helpful and nice about it and helped us in no time. Thanks to their help we got to enjoy our day there. It was for sure worth the trip.

It was incredibly great! I had the opportunity to visit both acquatic and roller coaster parks and I loved it. The water park has a bunch of attractions for all the kids and adults. There is also a large pool with waves. There is lockers for all your personal belongings. Now the roller coaster park was amazing. I went with a few friends +25 yo. And we had a great time. Every roller coaster ride was extremely enjoyable and scary. There is also a few restaurants. I will suggest to go on weekday because is a very crowded place. And the parking is 35$ general , 50$ preferential.

Well this was our first time here, as annual members for 6 years we’ve always talked about coming here and since it was the Halloween event what better time, BIG MISTAKE! Every other park is inclusive, you have tickets for Halloween you get the haunted houses, mazes, etc. Not here! $35 a piece, $90 for fast pass and if you don’t get there fast pass you’re screwed! As someone with family memberships for Six Flags, Hershey Park, Legoland and CedarFair, we regularly travel to all the parks from Florida to Massachusetts to Ohio and I’ve never been to a park that allowed that many people in, it was packed! I mean, beyond packed! Everything had a long line, we made it through 2 mazes and gave up when the fast pass lines were as long as the GA lines for the Halloween attractions😢 It was stressful, that many people and large groups pushing through you and kids, and then they’re just stopping in the walkways while groups of teenagers congregated everywhere without supervision and on top of that I’m walking with my kids smelling weed burning everywhere. Get it together Six Flags, I grew up near Wild world, that became Adventure World before finally Six Flags, we stopped going there years ago because of the fights and violence from groups of teenagers and young adults, now they’re closing it for good 😢😢😭 This place has the same vibes! I do want to come back maybe when it’s not so busy, rides looked awesome and almost all of them were operating, not sure I even saw any rides out of commission which is good coming from Six flagsFlags America where you’re lucky if 50% were operating that day and the shops and decorations were dilapidated and look like they survived a tornado, but unfortunately with that many people, every ride had a 60-180min wait, even the stores had long lines to even get in and don’t even try to get food, those lines were ridiculous, at least there was an occasional opening at the drink stands where the lines were maybe a few minutes, I actually felt like a 🤡 waiting to get my cups scanned when people were just walking up from the side filling up their cups😡 employee couldn’t do anything, I don’t think she could even see them😡 by 830 the coke was out of syrup and there was no ice, I told the lady working but she didn’t understand what I was telling her, she just smiled and shook her head to and down. Thankfully they were fully staffed though, most parks can’t get enough employees to work which ends up with closed attractions and concessions. Kudos for that! As for Halloween, get there early and get out when the sun goes down, we gave up at 9pm, after finally picking up a bags from the stroller rentals and getting out of the park it was 10pm and the lines to get in the park were absolutely ridiculous and long, I don’t know what those people are expecting at that time, by the time they get through security and front gate they’re going to be in for a world of hurt when they actually see the lines inside😱

​We recently visited the safari with our grandkids and had a fantastic time. We especially enjoyed riding on the old army trucks, which took us right through the different animal exhibits. The ride was not only entertaining for the kids but also very informative for all of us. Considering how much fun we had, it was a very reasonably priced outing for the whole family. It was such a great experience that we're already planning to go back again next year.

This was my second time visiting Six Flags Great Adventure, and it was just as exciting as the first. On my July 2025 trip, I enjoyed Flash Vertical Velocity (a recent addition and an amazing ride), Batman, Nitro, Roaring Rapids, Jersey Devil, Skull Mountain, Buccaneer, The Joker 4D, and Houdini’s Great Escape. On my first visit in March 2024, I experienced Sky Screamer, The Joker, Harley Quinn Choo Choo Train, Nitro, Jersey Devil, Superman Ultimate Flight, El Toro, Medusa, Kingda Ka (once the world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster), Batman – The Ride, The Dark Knight Coaster, and even played some fun basketball. I was sad to see that Kingda Ka is no longer there, but I am excited to see what new ride will replace it. The park is full of energy, and having a season pass makes visiting very convenient. I would definitely come back again!

It is very much common to see students alike and tourists taking photos of such aforementioned structures because of their voluminous space and architecture. Princeton's undergraduate curriculum is based on a liberal arts foundation, requiring students to take courses in a variety of disciplines. As stated on their respective website: 4 years of English 4 years of Mathematics 4 years of one foreign language 2 Years of Laboratory science 2 Years of History Princeton also offers a variety of financial aid programs to help students make college affordable. Not only that, but undergraduates also have the opportunity to conduct independent research, often under the mentorship of Princeton's world-renowned faculty. All in all, Princeton University is a world-class institution that offers students the opportunity to receive a rigorous education and learn from some of the best minds in the world. It is a community where students can grow and thrive, and make lifelong friends from all over the world in an environment where young minds are constantly being challenged and older minds are seeking to serve and teach their years' worth of knowledge. If you are a high school student who is interested in attending Princeton, you should start planning early. Princeton has a very competitive admissions process, and it is important to have strong grades, and extracurricular activities in progress while you still have time. In addition to that, I definitely recommend visiting the campus and talking to current students to learn more about the university, student life, and its unique culture it portrays.

Really beautiful campus. I stopped by here and don't regret anything. I loved walking around and seeing all the different buildings and dorms. It was actually gorgeous. There is a gift shop as well. I recommend !

Gorgeous campus for a peaceful stroll. A few gentle hills and plenty of beauty all around. If you are visiting and want to explore, you cannot go wrong with an aimless meander. Many excellent food and shopping choices in town. Definitely one of the most beautiful American college campuses.

It's beautiful!! It's amazing to walk around the campus. It has a very Hogwarts magical vibe. The buildings, the built and everything about this place has a history (the good and the bad). It almost feels like having a connection with that history while you walk through this place.

This is a very old school with charm and beautiful architecture. I just walked through the campus, but it was quite lovely. I cannot attest to the education, but from what the school has posted everywhere, it seemed like a very “where are your papers?” university, which is quite something. I will not doc any stars because of it, but I was not allowed in the university chapel because of it (only students, faculty, or staff allowed)- I know it’s a private school, but I thought these places were supposed to be open to all, like their predecessors in England like Cambridge or Oxford.

Such a beautiful campus. This is a campus that one would love to study, not only for its academic reasons but just being in the atmosphere surrounding the campus. Great old buildings and greenery.

We visited for the first time and really enjoyed our time with kids. Nothing much for teenagers but they can still have some fun on the rides. Some of the rides were not functional as you can read in most of the reviews. I visited on a weekday and didn’t experience any wait time. Parade was the most amazing experience for my kids. Salute to the artists who were performing with such an enthusiasm on a super hot day

I had an AMAZING time with my little one at the Sesame Place. This theme park is full of colorful fun packed streets. We did not cover all but the bit we covered was memorable. Things are a pricey like the parking, food and most items at the gift shop. But nonetheless, it is a MUST SEE especially for kids. The parade was our highlight. I highly recommend for tourists and even locals. 💯 Kids Friendly ✅ Paid parking✅ Gift shop✅ 🚻 Restroom ✅ Lovely Ambiance ✅ Good Music ✅

"Elmo, Mama. Elmo, Mama!" - 2 yr old pointing with excitement. Where are we? "Special Place, Mama!" - 2 yr old. He couldn't say "Sesame" so called it "Special Place" instead of Sesame Place. Wednesdays are the least crowded day in the summer. Get a season pass. The parade is cute but if you go often skip the parade and go on rides without a line. Kids must be able to walk and sit independently to go on the rubber duck water slide. My son loved it at 2 years then 3-4 was scared. Then went back to it when older. My son was so excited to be to be tall enough for the rollercoasters. Oscar's taxi was closed the first time he was tall enough then got stuck with us on it at the finish but my kid needed to go to the bathroom while we were waiting to get the seat belts to release, luckily he held it and had no interest in getting back on. Grover's rollercoaster is way better but for adults who don't like rides, this is a real ride, not simply a preschool thrill ride. Get to shows early. Seating can run out at the indoor theater. Get a spot for the parade early if going. I miss when they allowed kids to interact with parade characters. Core memories for my child. Skip character meals...too expensive for picky eaters, vegetarians, and kids with food allergies. Wish bathrooms were cleaner. Elmo's Flying Fish was my son's favorite ride. And he loved climbing on the ropes when he needed to jump around. Bubbles were a great distraction in line on days when lines were longer. Season passes can be bought in August for the end of the season and Halloween and Dec holidays' spectacular AND the following summer. Pass includes parking. Worth it if going 3 or more times. Sesame Place was my son's happy place ages 2-7 years of age.

It was a great experience with our granddaughter and family, just as fun as 20 years ago with our children. food, merchandise and extra activities are pricey but that's with all theme parks. Definitely recommend purchasing tickets online you save about half the price.

This experience was everything I wanted it to be. Food- I purchased the food pass for the 3 main places to get food from (ABC, Big Bird's, & Elmo's). Preparing in advance for the food I would highly recommend as theme park meals are expensive. The pass offered one entree, one side or dessert, and one drink ( no alcohol ) every 90 minutes. In my eyes for 3 adults and 2 kids it was worth it and at about $137 vs an approximate $375 Rides- I am no thrill seeker... but my kids (18 & 10) enjoying plenty of them with shorter wait times averaging around 4 to 15 minutes depending on the ride and the time of day. Oscar's coaster had the longest line at about 30 minutes, however it had an delayed open at around noon. What I did notice about the rides, is that they do not all start at the opening of the park. I'm not sure if this is due to staffing, maintenance, closure or whatever else one could think of but there is so much to explore that by the time you make it back around to a ride that was "closed"... it may be open. Characters- the meets for the characters were pretty easy going. The lines were tolerable and were consistently moving. Not all the characters were available for meet and greets but there is a way to find all of this stuff out. Parade- We went due Labor day weekend & 45th Birthday celebration. The parade was awesome. The songs were catchy and not the normal songs we all know! With some ABC'S & 123's, floats, bikes, and dancers... you can bet that they all did great! All of the characters were in the parade. Elmo, Abby, Big Bird, Oscar, Zoe, Kelly, Cookie monster, Bert, Ernie, and the count. What really tied this whole experience together was the Sesame Place App. This app held my tickets and passes, had a in depth map of the park, and give you a schedule. You can navigate the App to pull up your passes for easy convince instead of navigating through emails or printing out passes and tickets. The map will offer you directions to and from different areas. If you're looking to find a shop or the playground the map will give you directions on how to get there. The schedule is a little wonky and my best guess is because the characters are human and there is some error in all things human. With that being said characters are subjected to change without notice. So dont get your hopes up looking to see someone and they're not there. This disclaimer is also on the app. The schedule will help you plan your day based on what you like to do. For us it was helpful because we were able to plan for the little one to meet her favorite friends while the others were able to play until meeting for food, parade, or at Count's castle in the water. There are plenty of things to do and a variety of foods to eat. The park was clean, colorful, and encompasses people of all ages and races to come and enjoy. Not quite as diverse as Disney but its not as popular. I will be going back with my kiddos because they want to go back to Sesame Place!

Place was very clean and never had to wait more then 5 mins per ride if any. Bathrooms were plentiful and always well kept. Parade and staff was so much fun and oscar was a g.

It's a good time with our toddler but it is pretty overpriced, understaffed, and could be better maintained. We got value with the season pass and a teacher pass, but won't be doing it again. We really enjoy everything Sesame Street, but this feels like a cash grab.

This has changed A LOT since I was a kid! It went from being a wonderful hike to a tourist trap. $22 entrance fee is WILD! I understood why once inside; all those stairs changing this from a hike to a boardwalk of stairs must be expensive! By creating a walkway like this, it's made this area into something that people feel is easily accessible for a non-hiker. I just wish I wasn't expecting to hike.... What a bummer. AND you can't even get close to the waterfalls like you once had access to! You used to be able to get right to the water's edge. Not anymore.... If you are looking for an over-crowded, family in the way of your photos, easy-ish hike. This is for you. If you want to be in nature and HIKE, this isn't the place for you.

But your tickets in advance. Take pictures of your confirmation before arriving. There’s almost no cell service there. The site is amazing. The waterfalls are beautiful. The biggest one is up front. The walkways are well maintained. Wear very comfortable shoes. Be prepared to walk on gravel, grades and stairs. It’s worth it. We did the Red trail. 2-2.5 miles. Posted for hikers only. If you don’t hike, carefully consider if you can do this trail. We suggest doing it counter clockwise. It starts off more strenuous and the last half is easy.

A beautiful walk amongst the hills viewing the many waterfalls. Scenery was beautiful The walk was a little strenuous at times but well worth it for the hour and a half it took us.

This is one of the privately owned area with Plenty of parking. The price of $22 expensive to enter for only a few falls. When we visited during October the water streams had close to no flow water level, which was disappointing. Takes about 2 hours to walk and some step sections are long to go up and down. Half of the trail is near falls and the other half goes through the gorgeous woods. One can avoid the trail and just come spend some casual time with family in the nature.

What a gem of a park!!! Beautiful views of countless waterfalls. You can day walk or hike hard either way you won't be disappointed. Friendly staff. Nice gift shop and vlean bathrooms. A must see for the entire family.

A very beautiful place, often called the “Niagara of Pennsylvania.” Bushkill Falls is impressive: several waterfalls, clean trails, viewing platforms, and wooden bridges. We chose the Yellow Trail — it was easy and very scenic. Tickets were $22 per person at the entrance. Keep in mind there are stairs and climbs, so wear comfortable shoes and be ready for a bit of exercise. Overall, it’s a great spot for a family walk and photos. Definitely worth visiting at least once!

Came here for a hike on our honeymoon. The trails were amazing, the waterfalls were so cool to see up close. Definitely recommend to any outdoorsy person! Plus as an added bonus the shops are super cute and have something for everyone. And an added bonus the pressed penny machines were a great vacation throwback.

Saw Kansas at this venue! Great concert, great seats 2nd row. Thank you guys for putting on such a great show such talent:)! Rockin over 50+ years!! Friendly staff and lots of them to help. Parking lot was huge, they did have security driving around that was a plus. Also have valet.

I had a great time at Parx Casino even though luck wasn’t on my side this visit. The atmosphere is lively, clean, and full of energy, making it a fun place to spend time. One thing I really liked is that if you play for more than 15 minutes, they offer you free drinks, coffee, or water, which adds a nice touch to the experience. The staff are friendly and quick to assist, and the food options are surprisingly good and reasonably priced, especially for a casino. Whether you want a snack or a full meal, there’s plenty of choice. Overall, it’s a great place to relax, enjoy some games, and grab a bite. I’ll definitely be coming back again — hopefully with better luck next time!

I havent been to a whole hell of a lot of casinos BUT Parx Casino is one of the best and nicest casinos I have EVER been to!! It's clean, the staff was friendly and a just all around great atmosphere!!!

Got a section in the Sports lounge with a group of friends. $500 for 7 people. Food Drink, good friends and football. What can be better? Oh the Pizza was really good.

Parx Casino is one of the cleanest and most well-kept casinos I’ve visited. The entire facility is spotless… from the gaming floors to the restrooms … and it always feels well maintained. The employees take real pride in their appearance; their uniforms are always sharp and professional, and they carry themselves with a friendly, polished attitude. You can tell management holds high standards across the board. It makes the whole experience enjoyable, comfortable, and classy every time I visit.

This is something I have always wanted to see, the history is fascinating. I had planned a whole day but there definitely is not enough to keep you busy for the whole day so do research and take in the city, it is unbelievably walkable, easy to navigate and a beautiful city

The birthplace of the United States Constitution, the Liberty Bell at the Independence Historical National Park is a fun way to spend a few hours exploring and learning more about our country’s history. Surrounded by 18th century architect, visitors can still enter the very same buildings where our founding fathers wrote and signed the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution, passed law, and came together as a nation.

Did not know liberty bell symbolizes freedom to so many people. This place provides good history how Liberty bell services a reminder life is what you willing to fight for. The ranger is very knowledgeable even show us how to take a good “daylight “ shot of the crack from the bottom of the backside of the bell.

The Liberty Bell is a significant piece of US history. The fact that they don’t charge to go in is fantastic cues can be quite long but within 10 to 15 minutes you’re in. Really well organised. A must see if you’re in Philadelphia.

This was one of the other items that I was blessed enough to check off my bucket list as well. I learned a lot about the history of the bell, as there is a indoor museum dedicated to it.

I didn't think I would like this museum as much as I did but it was surprisingly good. It's free admission, but there was a significant line to get through security. Once inside it's not that large, but the information and stories provided were excellent. I was amazed at how complete a history they gave, highlighting the contradictions of this symbol of freedom while systematically oppressing women and minorities in this country. It's also why I came in the first place, given how we're currently headed down the same path. It's more of a physical representation of our constant struggle for the fractured freedoms and liberty that we all strive for in America.

Liberty Hall is associated with freedom, civil rights, and American independence. It is a famous bell that attracts visitors from all across the globe. Nice place to visit when in Philadelphia.

This is a must visit when in Philadelphia. Gorgeous museum filled with inspiring artifacts. There are so much to see , and you can get lost inside, since it was our first time here, it took us a while to figure it out how to exit the exhibits. We had a great time inside the museum , spent hours inside the museum enjoyed everything we saw, only wished we had more time to spend here. Tickets pricing are reasonable with military enter for free at certain times. Friendly and attentive staff. Great location. Can arrive on one of the city bus tours as well.

I haven't been to the museum since I was in 8th grade. The experience of the museum inside was great. No complaints. But upon entering and purchasing my admission ticket, I had tapped my card. On the screen that faced me, it read "approved". But the lady behind the ticket counter told me it was "declined". I thought that was odd considering my side said it wasn't. And she insisted that it was declined. So I tapped my card several more times and then finally on the 4th time it was approved. I found it weird but continued my visit into the museum. As I was getting ready to leave, I checked my bank statement through my app and right there it said I was charged twice for my admission. 2 charges for $30. So I stopped at the ticket counter on my way out and they denied me any kind of help with returning my money, even though I showed them right there On my phone that they had charged me twice for one admission. They told me basically they can't do anything about it and that my bank statement wasn't proof enough basically. And then told me to contact my bank because it wasn't their problem. I thought it was rude and inconsiderate, when they were the ones who charged me twice and the proof was right in front of them. I walked away and immediately called my bank. Thank God they are amazing and saw what the museum did and were able to stop it as a duplicate charge. I really don't know what their (museum staff) problem was or why they were rude about it as if I was not being truthful. Even though I showed them right there, that they charged me twice. So I would pay attention to your bank statements when purchasing your admission tickets. Other than that, the museum is a beautiful place to visit and the rest of the staff throughout the museum was friendly and extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. So I will give 4 stars for the rest of my experience. 😊

This museum offers art from many periods that are nothing short of exquisite! There are four floors of exhibits. I recommend to start at the third floor and work your way down. There are stairs and elevators for those who are handicapped. The third floor offers armor, European Art from the Medieval period to roughly 1850 as well as Asian Art. Not only are art pieces displayed, but also parts of buildings to showcase the artful architecture of Europe and Asia. The second floor includes contemporary European and American artworks. Paintings, sculptures, and displays make up most of the floor, each demonstrating the variety of creativity the modern mind can produce. The first floor encompasses the special exhibit and American Art up to the early nineteenth century with and emphasis on Pennsylvania art and furniture. The gift shops are also on this floor, featuring exceptional books, prints, magnets, stickers, and other souvenirs one may take home with them. The ground floor includes some African and Asian artwork from a special exhibit of artistic clothing. The security people did not make you feel uncomfortable (in fact, many were welcoming). Overall, this is a museum that one has to check out if they are in the Philadelphia area. Be prepared to spend four hours there at least if you like looking at every single item!

Fantastic museum with an impressive collection. Third floor Asian and Medieval portions with restored portals, Japanese village, cloister courtyard are simply amazing - a treat for kids and adults alike. Convenient parking across the street.

One of the best museums I've experienced in the states! It's very big, nice, clean, and a lot of collections that you might want to see desperately! And they offer 15$ per adult every Friday night with DJ/ music stuff. Although I think the event is not necessary, however, it's very good to see a museum try to attract different areas of people to come in again to appreciate the pure beauty of arts!

The museum is large and features a wide range of art—Andy Warhol photos, modern and classical pieces, armor displays, religious sculptures and paintings, walk-through exhibits, and much more. A major highlight is the famous Rocky steps at the east side entrance—definitely a must-see!

Nice park. Everything was chill and smooth. Rides were good and my kids enjoyed everything. The only thing that was a big problem was the fact that my wife and I waited in line for more than an hour to order food at the bar for our kids. It was really annoying watch 1 person try to service the bar and the guests ordering food. She handled everything professionally and quickly but it's sad that she had no help.

I'm so disappointed. I went with my husband and 2 kids we went because my son wanted to go for his bday which is 9/3 which clearly they are closed which is understandable this is why we went on 8/31 we got there early so we didn't have any issues with waiting on long lines . If you ask me the price for parking is absolutely insane $12 to park far away $35 if you want " mid " way and $40 dollars of you just wanna walk up about 15 or so steps 🤦 so before we even enter the park we are already paying $40 for parking . Then we purchased 4 day passes which was about a hundred and 40 something I believe my husband said . Anywho so the temperature showed it was about 69 going up to 73 I believe so yes the sun was shining and hiding because it kept coming in and out . So first we walked over to the lazy river 🥶🥶🥶🥶 omg that water was absolutely freezing cold I don't know how people were even in the water freezing there behinds but I just couldn't it's a " Lazy River " not a frozen riven you are supposed to go in and just relax . Alot of life guards had on sweaters everywhere you looked there were people wrapped with towels because it was so 🥶🥶🥶🥶 you just couldn't enjoy the water . Then we walked over to the Olympic pool we walked in and pretty much wet our legs because it was so cold you couldn't even swin and enjoy it . Then we tried the wave pool 🤦🤦🥶🥶🥶🥶 another area of water that had freezing cold water . Which completely sucks because you pay money to go to a water park you figured the water would be enjoyable but nope that's not the experience we had . So while I was shivering on a beach chair wrapped in my towel I decide to call guest services to see if anything could be done . So I explained how we paid money to park and enter the park and we aren't able to enjoy ourselves because everything is extremely cold is there some type of compensation we can receive maybe some type of discount to return next summer but I simply got told NO ! once your ticket is scanned there really isn't much that can be done . So I told the guy so basically we spent almost $200 to come in and just touch cold water he's like a there's nothing we can do . And don't get me started on the price of the snacks in there 🤦 talk about highway robbery a bag of m&m was $6.00 freaking bucks for a regular small bag a small bag of chips was like $5.00 bucks 🤦 a small drink from the fountain machine was $2.50 smh . It really sucks that we went and drove 2 hours to come and enjoy this park and that's the last thing we did because the water was way to cold to enjoy . So that is why I'm only leaving 1 start because we were extremely disappointed and my son did not get to enjoy his bday after we traveled for about 2 hours . So we came back home disappointed.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Rides are well-maintained. Parking seems a bit on the expensive side ($12, $30 or $40), but whatever. Great variety of food stands.

Great outdoor water park. The kids loved it. I highly recommend renting a cabana for the day as it used it to take a break and get lunch and to rest in between all the rides.

It is great that they are doing Fireworks Fridays this Summer! Open to the Public at 7:30pm and typically piared with some kind of entertainment leading up to the Fireworks. Enjoy some Rita's, Beer, and food and have.an enjoyable evening with the family.

This place is crowded like crazy on Sundays. DO NOT GO! Price is cheap but that makes the crowd VERY HUGE. Line is about 1hr wait so we bought the $30 express pass. BUT! Express lane has the same lane as the normal lane, we had to ask people to move away to go through the line. PEOPLE LITERALLY THOUGHT WE WERE CUTTING THE LINE and they were mad. We had to explain. And it’s frustrating and embarrassing. Aside from that, the slides were fun. Side note: I would suggest going to other water parks, unless you want to save money.

I've been here once before, but I'm not much of a gambler. So when I was told that the Philadelphia street food festival was going to be hosted at Harrah's, I was wondering how they were going to pull it off given that the majority of the casino is inside, totally forgetting about the awesome race track out back. The festival was awesome! I posted a few of the photos and videos I took of the event as well.

Enjoyed my time at this casino! Didn’t really win heavy, but enjoyed the time here! Pretty spacious. They also have a horse racing track, but they weren’t running tonight. It’s actually nice here when there’s a big race like the Derby or Preakness. Beer specials and a lively crowd. You can seat outside and watch it on the big screen. Variety of eateries here. Stopp d in Pholly Tap Tavern. Nice! Overlooking the race track as well as the river. Christian and Tara were very polite and conversative! Had the Turkey Club with Fries. Fries were really good! Club was good but so big! Only ate half. Turkey was plain tasting. Not like an Oven Roast, but still good! Also had the Space Dust IPA Beer. Really good! Had a kick to it! Booth seating as well as tables and chairs.

I just left there and every single worker there was friendly, helpful and smiling. We ate at the Philly Tavern and my husband got a cheesburger and I got a Blt and it was delicious. There was a long line at the rewards booth at first but it went quick. Good variety of tables and slots and few places to eat. The horse track is right outside, free parking and nice view of the river.

Fun visit while on a roadtrip from California. Although across from a prison, I felt safe and secure. Security was great and walked around alot watching folks, especially Michael who made himself available to speak to me and addressed questions that I had about the casino. Thank you Michael for being so kind. It cost nothing to be kind. The slots were great and we enjoyed seeing your racetrack. Can't wait to come back.

Not a bad casino, remember when playing slots to hit and leave. Most of the regular slots I've played do hit and I finally hit a 4 of a kind on video poker. Just walk away when up.

Lots of seating at the track (indoor and outdoor) decent food options, clean bathrooms, decent amount of casino games.

They freaking removed the Poker Room @ Harrah's Philadelphia because of the Covid-19 Pandemic and replaced the poker room with dumb video poker. What a plenty waste of my time. Didn't spend 1 single cent at the Casino Sunday night and I never plan on going back now. Now, 'OFF' to Atlantic City to enjoy my time at some real Casinos because frankly put you can't truly be called a Casino when you don't have a single Poker table playing Texas Hold'em

I try to get out the Valley Forge national Park at least three or 3 or 4 times during the summer, what a beautiful day to walk the trails and see the sites. I love the history behind us. They have a 5 mile loop in an 8 mile loop they also have trails through the woods and also through the field. This is an absolutely beautiful park. I like watching it through the seasons there’s also an excellent visitor centerwith light snacks, artifacts and some souvenirs. They also have bathroom facilities there.

One of the top historic national parks across America. Extremely well laid out and maintained across hundreds of acres of pristine park land. Only about a half hour from Philadelphia downtown and minutes from the King of Prussia mall. Easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 202 and 422 highways. They have a visitors center and offer trolley tours as well. Miles of very well paved walking trails are in place. Catch some of the most beautiful sunsets in the area. Must visit with family and kids

Place is huge. Plenty of places to park around each monument area if you don’t have time to walk everywhere. Woulda took me hours to talk the whole place. Gotta buy a bike or get good at running to get around whole place. Saw a few wedding photographers and groups taking pics. They kept asking us to move so we weren’t in background. But photographers supposed to know photoshop. I guess it’s cheaper to not do, it idk? But got a lot of steps in here. Some of the cabins have historical stuff also. The visitor center was closed cause the government shut down!!! Had to find another place at Wawa to use the bathroom!!!

Other than the government shutdown, (no restrooms) this place was amazing. We learned so much. We were here the first week in November, colors were beautiful. Not too many ppl, the ones we saw and interacted with were kind and engaging. The park ranger we talked to was kind and very helpful. We did the auto tour and it was exceptional.

I had no idea how large this park is! My family was here on a blustery fall Sunday and the main trail was very busy at 9 am. We did the driving tour because of our young kids and the weather. Having the NPS app was very helpful. The government was shut down on our visit so I can't speak to the visitor's center but would love to come back and see it and chat with park rangers and volunteers. The park itself is beautiful, especially in the fall. It is a lovely place to take pictures and spend a nice day outside.

We visited on a late Sunday morning in late June 2025. There were plenty of parking spots in the visitor center parking lot. There were a few spots that were shaded under trees. There is also a restroom facility here with water fountain and a Bike Rental shed. It was kind of a hike from the parking lot up to the visitor center. We got our NPS passport cancellation stamps first when we walked in. Then we were told the park film was about to start in the adjacent building so we ran up the stairs and outside to the next building. There were a bunch of signs to point you in the right direction but it was not intuitive. The park film is 19-mins long and plays on the hour and half-hour from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. It's a fairly large theater it plays in. We also grabbed our Junior Ranger books for the kids from the info desk so they were working on it during the film. After the film was over we walked back over to the visitor center and back down the stairs. There were some exhibits at the top of the top of the stairs as well but not many. Then explored the gift shop which was quite large and to the left when you walk into the visitor center. They had a lot of merch specific for Valley Forge National Historical Park which was great. We grabbed some pins and a rubber duck. If you walk to the right when you enter the visitor center there is a large exhibit area. It's pretty huge. One of the largest indoor ones I've seen. There are a number of interactive exhibits to keep the kids entertained as well. We walked around and explored and took pictures in here while kids finished junior ranger and played. We turned junior ranger books in and got the badges before we headed out to see some of the sites. We first stopped at the winter encampment which had a number of log huts each with exhibits inside. There was also a reenactor/interpreter in one of them. Good for a 10 min stop. Then we stopped at the National Memorial Arch. We where hear close to noon and it was hard to get a nice photo. The best place was actually form underneath in it's shadow. Sadly there were a number of people here and hard to get a photo with no one else in it. You park at the bottom of the hill and have to walk up to the arch. It is a caved walkway. We stopped next at Washington's Headquarters. There was restrooms here next to parking lot. You walk down the winding path to the Valley Forge Train Station which had a number of exhibits inside. You continue down the path to Washington's Headquarters. There are multiple rooms here to explore and up stairs. The trail is a loop so you goa round and make your way back to the top. The last stop we made was at Washington Memorial Chapel. It just looked so cool on the outside. You are able to walk into the bottom of the tower and look around. There are some signs. There is also a store and cafe in the back of the church but this is an actual church and has services and we were there on a Sunday. Overall this place was huge and we skipped so many things but we were on a tight itinerary and we need to head out. We spent over 2 hrs exploring Valley Forge National Historical Park and I feel we barely scratched the surface.

Beautiful park. Auto tour is a nice way to kill some time in the area or worth the drive just to it. Very well preserved.

I found it very nice and organized. It's a beautiful park, and the attractions are really fun. A good mix of modern and traditional. Some vintage rides add a special touch. The only thing they urgently need is better integration with the Six Flags system. You can't enter with your ticket through the Six Flags app, even with the All Parks package, as it doesn't work, so you have to wait in a long line at Guest Services. Also, because there's no integration with the SF system, I had to pay for parking and request a refund at Guest Services, or I wouldn't be able to enter, even though I was entitled to the benefit. Anyway, I hope they fix this integration once and for all so I can give them 5 stars.

Great local amusement park one of the best out there definitely suggest. Employees are very nice also nice environment to be in not very crowded fast lines barely no wait time. Water park was closed when Google said it was open disappointed but not a big deal it was September 21st anyway

Had a great day! Got there at opening, stayed until 6pm . . Utilized the premium meal plan (every 90 mins) and drink every 15min Rides hardly had waits . . 15 mins tops and it was a SUNDAY . . . The family rode 13 different rides 20 total times and we didn't even go to the Water park side . . Lots of fun

While I do love Dorney and always have a great time there, the pricing for food/ drinks is already insane but having to pay almost $40 FOR PARKING, is criminal. The haunt was dope, all the shows and performers were great, (the skeleton crew show) was my favorite though. Lines for the coasters were short, was able to get on everything, even sit in the front. The lines for the "Haunt Attractions" were quite long though. Hopefully pricing becomes more consumer friendly in the future as I believe I had to pay $15 extra in service fees when ordering my ticket online.

I really enjoyed this park , it has a very charming feel to it imo . It's a decent sized amusement park ( I expected it to be much smaller) . The water park portion looked to be really nice as well. The layout is decent here , but there are some steep hills to walk. I was really impressed with Possessed , Steel Force , Talon and Iron Menace. I also loved that Chickie's and Pete's is on the dining plan here!! Also growing up going to Cedar Point all my life it was wonderful to see the Demon Drop still running great and getting to ride it was awesome!!

Overall, the park is really nice and offers plenty of fun attractions. However, I think they should limit the number of guests allowed in each day because it was extremely crowded, and the lines were very long. Some staff members provided great service, while others seemed uninterested in being there. My son had a great time, and it’s definitely a wonderful place for kids. I recommend reserving tickets online, as it’s cheaper than buying at the gate. Some restrooms were clean, but others were smelly and not well-maintained. The park itself is clean overall and has a nice selection of food and snacks, though the food is definitely overpriced. Get the season pass even it’s its first one day you save way more money. You can also bring a friend for 20$.

Dorney Park is always our favorite theme park probably because it's more reasonable compared to to the other park you paid a ticket for dry and water park, We took my sisters family in here for the first time she have 3 young kids and I'am proud to say that they love the water park, her kids is none stop playing on wave pool and lazy river, we came on opening at 11 and we got a nice shaded lounger area, the only downside is the customer service told us that season pass holder can get in early and we did not see anybody by the water park gate that letting season pass holder get in, we got so happy but got disappointed right there, they even put season pass entrance sign but like others we waited till 11 to get in, so this thing is false advertising and reason I only gave 4 star, But as always Dorney park is clean the bath area is decent the bathroom is maintained the best part is the all day dining that me and my kids truly enjoyed thru out the day. I highly recommend to avail all day dining to everybody you will not regret it, and season pass pays off we are coming back again specially on October for their Halloween.

Amazing Place to visit while in Scranton PA! Very kid friendly, and interesting for the whole family. You can pay for a ticket to ride their trolley and train ride, which explains the history of the area. There is also the turntable + roundhouse museum, which houses lots of relics and trains, all of which is free to see. Overall an amazing place to stop by whenever you have free time, plus it's a short walk over the bridge to the Steamtown Marketplace & Trolly Museum!

This is another wow, wow, wow moment. Had no idea stopping to check Scanton PA out was going to yield this awesome find. This place was loaded with all kinds of history. Obviously you have to be a person interested in history to appreciate this kind of site. But how could you not be? This may be the best preserved site in America dedicated to the railroad, and steam engine. I'm so glad that this is somehow funded for our citizens to be able to enjoy. It's so cool to see the kids be in awe of these trains. I know growing up, I was interested in trains as well.

This is a very big site with plenty to see. It's pretty confusing to know where to go. I went to the trolley museum and steam town. There's is actually another museum called the technology museum by steam also that I think is work checking out. It's very interesting seeing the history of the rail system and how Scranton became known as the electric city. There are guided tours that take about an hour and brings you to where they work on restoration of different trains.

Even if you're in Scranton for the Office, make sure you go here! I found out they had one of the 8 remaining Big Boy trains and had to stop by. It's out in the parking lot and is beautifully restored. The museum is free. Staff are all friendly. There's easily a half day of stuff to see, but you could easily spend a full day here. Lots of beautiful trains and very thorough and informative walk through exhibits. I ran out of time and didn't have a chance to walk on the walkway above the rail yard, or go to the electric trolley museum. You will not be disappointed!

Couldn't get in due to Federal Shutdown, but posting a few details re parking etc. Large free of charge car park is shared with the Trolley Museum. There are signs for RV and Van parking too. Plenty of blue badge parking spaces. There are many picnic tables and benches, some under cover around the car park. Some locos around the car park Hope to return one day and go inside.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We happened to stumble thru right before their tour! Nick and Bill were very informative and fun! We even got to see some of the workers and behind the scenes stuff! I still can't believe the tour was free! A wonderful must -stop if you're in the area!

We visited early morning on a Saturday in late June 2025. We got there just a few minutes before opening since we were staying at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. Amazing hotel to stay in if you're in town for the Steamtown National Historic Site. It was a converted old train station. There is a giant parking lot and you can kind of look around at the trains in the parking lot and in front of the visitor center while you wait for them to open. The ticket and information center is right at the front when you walk in. We picked up maps, junior ranger books and purchased our train tickets for the 10:30AM ride/tour. Sadly the Locomotive Shop Tour started at 11AM and there wasn't another one until 2PM. The train tour returned at 11:15AM so we wouldn't make it in time and we had a tightly packed itinerary for the day. Next we walked to the left where the Bookstore museum shop is. It's in adjacent building to the Oil House. It's actually a fairly nice sized store with a bunch of neat stuff. This is also where the NPS Passport Cancellation Stamps are for this site. They are right behind the counter and there are 2 stamps. We dropped all the stuff off at the car and went into the first building (Visitor Center). We went through it pretty quite because we noticed that they had a handcar Experience from 10-11AM and a line was starting to form. Never tried a handcar before and it was much harder to get started than you think. Momentum is your friend though. The ranger let all 5 of us get on. 2 on each handle and one opposite of him on the cart. You go out maybe 50 feet, stop and then turn around to go back. It was a lot of fun. By the time we were done we went through the Technology museum to the other side where the train ride/tour was. We had to go fast to get in line since they are not assigned seats and first come first serve. We wanted to make sure we got seats next to each other. We were the second group in line. We decided to sit in the way back. There are 2 passenger cars next to each other and they are not the same. They do have rangers/staff on both trains as you're going. They were very strict about staying in your seat while the train was moving and there were a few kids on our train that the rangers/staff kept having to remind. Conductor will come by and punch your ticket as well. It's pretty cool because the hole punch is the shape of a train. The train doesn't go too far before it stops and turns around to head back to the station. it was a fun experience and for $6 per person it wasn't too bad. I think 5 and under were free. It was also a pretty full train. Not sure if it was sold out or what. After we got off the train at the same place we got on the train, we continued round around the circle into the Roundhouse. Here there were a ton of parked trains with signs and you walk on like a high up platform to see them all. You can't really get super close to them unfortunately. The locomotive shop is also attached to this section of the building and where you would go if you had purchased that particular tour option. We continued lastly into the History Museum portion and looked around a bit. This was the portion we walked through the fastest honestly. Kids weren't too interested in the history. They liked the technology and seeing the trains more. The last building we came across was the theater but it was closed for renovations or something during our visit. So we were not able to watch the park film. I'm sure if we were able to watch the film, the kids would've been more interested in the history aspect. Kids finished their Junior Ranger Booklets and we turned them back in at the front Ticket and Information Center and they got their badges. We ran into museum shop to get them stamped and then we were off to our next stop for the day. Overall it was a great experience and we packed a lot in for just under 2 hrs. Since we had to run through everything so quickly we would 100% come back in the future. Take more time in the museums and also do the other tour. Maybe the theater will be reopened.

Longwood Gardens is truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve ever visited. The gardens are perfectly maintained, with stunning flower displays, elegant fountains, and an amazing variety of plants from all over the world. Every corner feels like a new discovery — from the breathtaking conservatory to the vibrant outdoor meadows. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to share interesting facts about the plants and history of the gardens. The fountain shows are absolutely spectacular, especially in the evening when the lights and music create a magical atmosphere. It’s a perfect place for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone who wants to relax and enjoy some quiet time surrounded by beauty. This is one of the more spread out gardens I've been to. Be ready to walk and wander about. It isn't a criticism just a fact that you will need to walk between features along nicely paved walking paths. The conservatories were amazing! Their chrysanthemums were phenomenal. The bonsai collection and potting shed were super cool and we really like how well labeled and informative everything was. Super impressed. I would recommend to anyone needing an activity in the area!

It's a beautiful experience if you enjoy botany or nature. No matter what path you take here it's gonna be a fun but it's gonna be a lot of walking so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. I was here for 5 hours and only made it halfway througn the gardens. I did stop by 1906 which a restrant in the gardens and just wow is it nice. Try the botanist lemonade if you get the chance. The staff there are wanderful, and food was awesome both in taste but in how its presented. I'm definitely going back.

Love this place-phenomenal displays every season. We visited in early November and still saw the autumn leaves. The special display was for chrysanthemums. It was beautiful. We find the map and trails easy to navigate. We visited with kids above 10 and the place was great and easy to walk.

Longwood Gardens is well maintained and have friendly and helpful staff. If you love gardens, plants, being out in nature it’s a good place to be. The various sections are interesting. We were here as a family and enjoyed the various sections, the musical fountain, and walking through the gardens. Recommend at least 4-6 hours to explore most of the garden. The water lily court, orchid house stood out.

One of Americas greatest gardens. A great day out in Chester County, Pennsylvania. So much to see from the tropical conservatory, the fountains, the water gardens, open air theater, Chimes tower,to the Italian Water Garden. My own personal favorites are the Eye of Water, the Peirce-DuPont house, the large lake and the meadow. Worth seeing in every season. This a review ONLY for the free RV parking. After you turn off 315 you need to drive all the way back to Lot E where the website says RVs can park. A sign points left to a gravel lot but and others went into Lot E and parked on pavement with the big trucks. You able to use your levels, generator, and slides. There is plenty of room. We parked in the long lanes painted for big rigs. There are no amenities so it is dry camping. It was quiet. AT&T cell service was excellent. Over the air TV was available. There is a covered shuttle stop in the Lot if you want to go to the casino for meals or gambling. We did not use it or go into the casino. There are grassy areas for dog walking and a body of water across the street behind the trees. We would certainly stop here for a free night.

Was there 10/25 and 10/26/25. The room was great, and cleaned very well. Played at the Casino and a wide range of slots to choose from. Not once did we have to wait to get drinks, those gals were amazing. We ate at 2 different places and both were amazing, and the prices very affordable. Check in and out was a breeze. Will definitely go back. As for the comedy show...not so my style. Meeting table and chairs. A different set up would be needed. SA

We didnt stay at the hotel just visited. Casino was clean, looked like lots of good food options. Also the toilet cover thing was neat, i've never seen that! The track was nice but it was a HOT day and there wasn't a lot of shade outside. People were smoking inside so not comfortable in there.

Had a was wonderful time. Food at Ruth Chris was a fantastic meal. We ate at Johnny Rockets. Very inexpensive and delicious. Lots of cocktail waitresses on the cassino floor. Our room was super clean and lovely.

So Smokey from the front entrance and throughout the casino. My wife and I felt the level of fresh air ventilation was poor. We couldn't escape the smoke! We Visited on Monday, November 17th. Many food options were closed also. No Bubble Craps!! If you're not a smoker....Stay Away!!!

Not a 4 star hotel…… more like a 3. Come ready to make your own bed and ask for more towels and other essentials or bring your own if you need them. And make sure you bring your tablet with your own shows properly downloaded for streaming. The streaming service does not work at all…. And the worst part is that after you try to make it work for 10 times and you call the front desk they will tell you….. oh… I don’t know why they still have that because it does not work!

I stayed at Mohegan Pennsylvania for a weekend and the security checkpoint was extremely inconsistent and unfavorable treatment based on sex toward males. The first day my wife and I were able to walk in and out without being stopped. The second day in the AM we were carded and had a picture taken which is not a big deal. Later that night upon walking in I was told I had to get in line which is not a big deal until my wife who was directly in front of me was told she was good to walk in and I was told to wait in line. I asked security about the requirements on enter being able to walk right in and wasn't given an answer. Then, while in line I overheard security tell someone that if you look under 40 that you have to wait in line. I also repeatedly saw women in their 20s being able to walk right in. The line was full of males waiting to enter the casino.

Gorgeous platform setup! Gift shop was actually very affordable. I usually get sticker shock but was pleasantly surprised here! We had tickets for the first class parlor and it was very comfortable. Our server was wonderful. The scenery was great - farmland, farm animals, a small park, and other small attractions that the train goes through. 45 minutes is perfect duration especially with a child. We’re from honesdale — known for having the first locomotive train so we’ve been on several rides by us. But this one was so much nicer in every single way. Would recommend to anyone visiting Lancaster!

Strasburg Rail Road is a wonderful experience for families, students, and anyone who loves history and trains! The ride through the beautiful Amish countryside feels like stepping back in time — peaceful fields, horses, and old barns all along the way. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience both fun and educational. The vintage steam locomotive is kept in amazing condition, and you can feel the power and nostalgia with every whistle. The station area is also lovely, with gift shops, small museums, and food options nearby. Perfect for kids and groups — it’s not just a train ride, it’s a journey through history. Highly recommend visiting, especially in the fall when the scenery is at its best!

We attended the Cheese and Wine event and had a great time! The station looked magical with Christmas lights, wreaths, and trees creating a festive atmosphere. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the parlor car had a cozy, vintage feel. The train ride was shorter than expected, and since we went at night, there wasn’t much scenery to see—daytime rides would be better for that. The cheese and wine were delicious but the portions were on the small side. I do not beleive the ticket price reflected the quantity of the cheese and wine accurately. The gift shop was a pleasant surprise with lots of train-themed and holiday items. Overall, it was a fun and festive experience, perfect for the holiday season!

My friends and I are celebrating 50 yrs of friendship and I mentioned it to the conductor and next thing I know he come with balloons for us, we were so surprised. I had reserved seats in the lounge car which was great with the swivel chairs. The ride was great with interesting landscapes and the ride was monitored along the way. My friends and I truly enjoyed it.

Just fantastic 🤩 I've been on several train rides, but this is the most scenic and the nicest restored cars, and the most selection of seating. And a real steam engine, choo choo!🚂 And the cutest little train station village and shops. Best T-shirt 👕 choices. Just great fun 🙌🏻

We drove all the way from Cleveland, Ohio (6 hours!!) to ride this train and it was incredible. My 3 year old is obsessed with trains so instead of having a birthday party we decided to spend a weekend away to learn all about trains. The entire experience was incredible - meeting Mrs. Claus, dropping a letter to Santa in the hopes we will receive a letter back, the Christmas songs, the train itself was so nostalgic, Santa on board was great! We also really enjoyed the smaller train ride after riding the big train. All in all, we had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone. We arrived 45 min prior to getting on the train (like the email recommended) so we could spend some time to do all the fun Christmas activities. Also, shockingly enough, I found this train experience using ChatGPT. I'm a working mom of 3 with limited time so I took to ChatGPT to help plan our weekend away and this is what it recommended we do. So glad I trusted it!

If you're making a trip to Lancaster, adding this to your itinerary is a must. We were just there this past weekend and did the Santa Express car (they have different experiences and price points). Ours was just perfect, a little less than an hour, with beautiful scenic route, live entertainment with instruments and Carolers. Of course the Cherry on top was Santa making his way and stopping to speak with every child, give a small Candycane and ornament gift and take pictures with each family. In addition to all that, they have a lovely station with stores, eateries, and also outdoor entertainment. Super super cute! Will go back!

Wonderful live show in Pennsylvania! Had this trip planned for over a year. It did not disappoint.! The show Noah was awesome the actors and actresses were amazing .The live animals were awesome as well. The effects blew me away. I highly recommend everyone who can go see these live shows.

Beautiful theater, comfortable seats, ushers very friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough about the actors, actresses and the stage hands that brought the events of Noah to life in front of our eyes! What a wonderful performance! This was my husband and my first experience and it will resonate with us and those that accompanied us for years to come!

**Highly Recommended for wholesome family entertainment!** - This is comparable to a Broadway show in NYC except these stories are from the BIBLE and great for the entire family. - (All my family members agree) - In addition to the main stage, they have stages on both sides of the auditorium, which gives it a "surround" or immersive effect. - The plays include musical numbers for their many scenes. - They include some one-liners for laughs.. ..which brings some light-heartedness. - They have LIVE ANIMALS in the plays also; horses, pigs, camels, sheep, goats, dogs, birds, (the kids love it..!) - It is located in Lancaster, Pa. (a great family-wholesome place to go after for lunch, sight-seeing and staying the night) - Each of these stories are heart-felt; and include a good main theme to take/ bring home with you and put into practice.. - Our Family has seen the plays: Jesus; Noah, Moses; David; Queen Esther, The Miracle of Christmas. - I would recommend a weekday, since the weekends usually get booked-up quickly. - I also suggest purchasing them online, or calling the reservation center, to make sure you get tickets. (get sold-out quickly) - They also have a nice gift shop and refreshment stands in the main lobby - (we had coffee, soft drinks, and Glazed Almonds (delicious if you are not allergic) - Cannot say enough good about this place and will continue to come back (even the kids are grown-up now) lol...

Sight and Sound is a wonderful experience for families to go to together, friends, or for your children to attend. This theater truly brings to life biblical stories with great detail and very Supreme acting. They are very punctual at starting and I recommend that anyone that can go will see it. The costay seem high, but it's very worth it and you can understand the cost to operate such a theater. I highly recommend it to anyone.

We saw Noah on a Wednesday afternoon. The place was sold out even on a weekday. The staff is helpful and friendly from the parking attendants who parked us close due to seniors with walking limitations to the will call and concessions and ushers. The show is spectacular with the actors, animatronics and live animals. It is also very emotional with a lovely surprise ending. You won’t be disappointed with this experience.

My family and I had heard great things about Sight and Sound, but we had never been to a show until recently. It did not disappoint! Noah was outstanding, and my 4 yr. old grandson loved it! What a great experience! Thank you!

I’ve been a few times. The theatrical performances I’ve seen have been Jonah, Daniel, Noah, and The Christmas Story. This is one trip that’s worth repeating. Buy tickets MONTHS ahead. If you want to go on a specific date then order as soon as the box office opens, shows get booked super fast. I travel with a bus group. Now that part has its ups ands down.

Absolutely by far one of the top greatest experiences I've had in my 65+ years, and to top it off Alex and Emma made it even more awesome. Best guides ever. Can't wait to make this an annual event....thank you to all the staff as each one of you were AMAZING

For anybody who has adventurous kiddos, I've got a place for you. My 7-year-old daughter and I checked out Refreshing Mountain for the first time yesterday and spent nearly 5 hours there of pure fun. Together we did 5 ziplines, tackled all three levels of the the ropes course, climbed a rock wall, fed some barn animals, enjoyed the beautiful playground, road pedal carts, and so much more. The property was clean and the staff was so welcoming and helpful (it actually felt unrealistic because of how most businesses are ran these days.) Choosing to spend our day at refreshing mountain was the best choice we could have made for our mommy & me day! Run, don't walk, to enjoy your own day at Refreshing Mountain. 🤸You SO won't be disappointed. (And if you can, request Starla and Thaddeus - they were the bomb.)

5 stars — Because where else can your kids fly through trees, hug a pig, become wild plant experts, AND be fully worn out before dinner? Refreshing Mountain has officially earned its spot as our family’s home away from home. We’ve been coming here at least twice a year for seven years straight (minus the COVID gap we’ve all blacked out). And every single visit has been pure magic. Today? Top-tier. We ziplined, tackled obstacle courses, climbed walls like tiny action heroes, and visited the farm where one of my kids fell deeply in love with a pig. (We are now apparently a “we need a pet pig” household. Send help.) But this time, we also tried something new—a foraging class, recently added to their already amazing lineup of activities. My kids are now self-proclaimed wild plant experts, and I’m only slightly concerned they’re going to start making backyard salads out of suspicious leaves. But in all seriousness? It was fantastic. Educational, hands-on, and so much fun that no one even asked for snacks during it. A miracle. And then there’s the moment that keeps us coming back: years ago, when my disabled son Rhys couldn’t zipline on his own, the incredible staff made it happen with a tandem ride that let him soar through the trees like a superhero. It was a moment I’ll never forget—and the kind of kindness and intentional inclusion that defines Refreshing Mountain. Every staff member we’ve met has been welcoming, patient, and genuinely happy to help families make unforgettable memories (even if we’re loud, chaotic, and slightly muddy). This place isn’t just an adventure—it’s a gift. 1000/10 recommend. Just maybe don’t come during peak Carlisle car show traffic, unless you enjoy testing your patience before the ropes course.

We attended the homeschool day and it was truly "refreshing." The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and very inviting. The check in was super easy, the staff is amazing and so friendly. My girls (5,9 and 11) had fun from 10 am to 5 pm, non stop! The price for the homeschool day is super reasonable and we are grateful to have this available to us. Thank you all we can't wait go back.

This camp was truly amazing. My family and I inquired and competed the zip line activities. The instructors were kind and new their job perfectly. We had full confidence in the staff with our safety at hand literally.

I had an absolute awesome experience! When I told the staff I do obstacle course racing regularly and have done multiple zip lines they let me attack the obstacle course right away alone. It was a blast and there was definitely some complicated ones that slowed me down. The zip lines definitely get the blood pumping and during mid-December they had millions of Christmas lights strong throughout the wooded area which made for some breathtaking views.

Knoebels Amusement Resort is a wonderful, family owned Amusement Resort in Elysburg PA. There's fun to be had for the whole family. They have lots of classic rides, some of which are the last of their kind. They keep their rides in amazing working order. They have a great selection of roller coasters, and all are a blast to ride. Aside from rides, the park itself is wonderful. It's very clean, and the atmosphere is great. The food here is amazing too, and affordable. You can't miss the potato cakes. They are out of this world. Attractions at the park include mini golf and a beautiful swimming pool. This is a theme park you can't miss.

In the middle of nowhere central PA, Knoebels is an absolute gem of an independent, family owned and operated park. The free admission and parking, pay-per-ride system at Knoebels is totally genius, allowing non riders to still enjoy a day at the park with family or friends. The focus is on family or kiddie rides but there's plenty for adults too. The gorgeous, huge pool is a feature you don't see often at theme parks, and boy is it wonderful to take a dip on a hot day between rides and snacks. The whole park is BYO food and bev, yet there's also plenty of unique and affordably priced concessions. My favorite treats were Tiger Tails, potato pancakes and apple cider slushies. If you enjoy vintage rides like wooden coasters or historic carousels, this is the park for you! Phoenix is an absolute menace, you will be tossed around like a rag doll and exit the station laughing hysterically, only to run around to ride it again. The Flying Turns trackless bobsled style coaster is one of a kind and a wild, totally unique experience. I really love that they have a campground directly attached to the park so you can stay on site and easily come and go. No fast lane passes offered or needed, as operations here are smooth even on a busy weekday. Absolutely worth the trip to spend a day or two relaxing and soaking up summer fun at Knoebels. If you are a fan of Kennywood out in Pittsburgh, you'll definitely love Knoebels.

Had a fantastic first visit! So many rides for our one year old to ride and enjoy. The carousels are amazing! And the Coasters are top notch! You can clearly see the pride that the employees have for their work. Early each morning they are wiping all the benches, fixing the gravel, etc. no other amusement park takes this level of care and it shows!! We cannot wait to come back next may!

I'll preface with the fact that we went on a Monday. Plenty of parking to be had, the park was super clean and the pricing was very, very reasonable..(ride all day comes out to around $8 an hour if you stay open to close). We did not buy the all-day pass, because don't ride a lot and we went there for the pool mainly. The pool($9 to get in) and the locker area were both super clean and not as crowded as I expected, which was nice... I would recommend renting chairs for the day. Even though we didn't go on them, the slides looked fun! The fact that you can leave the pool to go out to the park and come back is really nice too. There are plenty of rides to be ridden for all ages, but the roller coasters were PHENOMENAL!! This park is free to get into and very family friendly and actually any age friendly, there is really something for everyone there! There is also lots of pavilion space for picnics if you don't want to spend $$ on food there. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food options they did have. A plaque said they were voted best amusement food in 2024. Highly recommend visiting! Oh, don't forget to download their app!

This is an amazing family, amusement park. It's not huge but it's not small by any stretch either. It has a really nice homey feel that you don't get at the bigger six flags and cedar Fair Parks. The roller coasters were really good. I enjoyed Phoenix and twister. I also had a garlic burger with smothered fries. Usually burgers had amusement parks are kind of boring. This one was actually sensational. The taste was amazing. I enjoyed my stay here. I would recommend bringing your family here for sure.

One of the best amusement parks I've ever experienced. Great food! And the wooden roller coaster is incredible. We spent almost 8 hours there and it wasn't enough. Can't wait to return.

We visited Knoebels Amusement Resort today with my wife, son, and granddaughter, and it could not have been a better day. The park wasn’t crowded (Mondays and Tuesdays really are the sweet spot), so lines were short and we could enjoy more rides and attractions without the wait. Knoebels is truly a gem in Pennsylvania—family-friendly, welcoming, and wonderfully nostalgic. We stayed from open to close, and the atmosphere never lost its charm. One of the things I love most is that you can bring your own picnic. We packed lunch and dinner, left it on a picnic table in the grove, and—just like magic—nobody touched it. That kind of trust and respect is rare these days. Whether you’re riding coasters, playing games, or simply strolling through the park with a cone of fresh ice cream, Knoebels delivers pure fun in its most genuine form. We left with full hearts, tired feet, and a lot of great memories. We’ll be back again soon!

This was a great place to learn about Hershey - not just the Hershey company but the town too. There is a scavenger hunt to keep younger kids entertained. Quite a few interactive exhibits. Add on experiences include the Chocolate Lab (make your own chocolate bar and learn about chocolate) and tastings. The chocolate bar experience at the lab is different than make your own Candy Bar at Hershey's Chocolate World. There is also a café where you can get something to eat or drink (great food and coffee options).

A great stop if you’re short on time! The museum offers a nice mix of the history behind the Hershey business and Milton Hershey’s lasting impact on the town. Well organized, informative, and easy to explore without feeling rushed. Perfect for anyone who enjoys learning the story behind the famous chocolate brand and the community it built. Chocolate tasting was a fun addition.

Fun way to learn more about Hershey. Some really interesting interactive aspects to the museum which is great for kids. Spent about an hour walking around. We enjoyed learning more about the town. The gift shop was ok - it would be nice if some collectors tins or historic packing was sold to reflect more of the Hershey history or one of a kind chocolates, just available there. We paid extra for the chocolate tasting at the end for adults and kids. Very tasty. I do wish that kids could keep their tasting mug, especially considering the price of the tastings, as our little one really wanted it and it would have been a nice keepsake. A chocolate sample to take home would have also been really appreciated. We offered to even pay for the kids mug but were told no. All things considered it was a nice visit for an hour or 2.

The Hershey store is massive. Every kind of chocolate you want. Plus all the other candy's owned by Hershey, like Jolly Ranchers. Took the factory tour and it was quite informative.

Very informative museum about the man, the business, and the town. Friendly staff on hand for any questions. Interactive displays. Really enjoyed visiting.

Fun place!! Free Hershey ride through the hersey manufacturing process(totally staged and animated but interesting) so much candy!! A dessert area, fill your own Reeses Cup! Build your own candy bar and follow the whole process. There are plenty of food vendors there too all themed fir Hershey, chocolate and some savory selections too. You could easily spend hours there!

I have been to Hershey Park last Saturday and I loved it. The park was neat and clean, beautifully decorated for Halloween including a „scare zone“ at night time. Coasters were great! Especially enjoyed Wildcat‘s Revenge, Skyrush and Storm Runner. Will definitely come back!

It's a good park. I've been to many parks in the US and also in European countries. I can say that the price is a little high given the quality of the park. Overall, you can visit a couple of times. I can tell you that it’s better to buy express tickets if you go on weekends, because the waiting time is on average at least 35 minutes.

A sea of ​​positive emotions! Even though we were with our little daughter, who is 4 years old, even my husband and I managed to ride the highest slides, taking turns. I didn't really like the system by which we ate; it would have been better without it.

This was my first trip to Hershey Park. Honestly had little expectations. However I was very impressed with several things: 1. Lots of shade trees around the common walking paths 2. Many ways to get from one place to another. 3. The amount of lifeguards am was a plus 4. The amount of restaurants was amazing 5. Ride selection for both young, teen and adults was perfect. 6. Rides look like they are in perfect order. Actually surpassing Disney in some ways. 7. New rides being added all the time. 8. Making great use of their entire space. My only complaints: 1. Monorail was down 2. Some areas had signs to get from place to place other intersections had none. (Made getting around difficult for first timers) 3. Exit out of main parking lot was confusing. We only saw one main exit sign and stumbled on it after driving around. Will come again. We live 10 hours away. Buy tickets online for deals.

We really had an excellent experience.. my grandson was able to get on a number of kids rides right away with no waiting. I highly suggest the one day meal plan. We were able to get burgers, fries and a large Coke each. Save chocolate world for the end when you're leaving so you can hit the air conditioning before you go and there are plenty of good deals in the checkout laying on the way out. Special shout outs to the attendant on the swing thing who was so engaging in sweet to the young kids really went out of his way to make that right. A great experience

This park is amazing. Definitely better than what we expected! Family loved it and there is plenty to do for all ages. Oh yeah, the chocolate!!!!!!! Priced right. Coasters were awesome!

We stopped in 30 Sept 2025 after engaging a tour guide for a “3 hour tour”, He had so much to tell us, he took 4 hours! Very informative and yet, so much could be said about the battles fought here. The Museum film and Cyclorama painting exhibit cost $40 for two seniors to see. The Cyclorama visit is timed but you can take your time walking the Museum. We visited the gift shop also. Tons of historical books there, along with glassware, magnets, and tasteful knickknacks. Lots of seniors and few school trips at this time of year.

Visiting this place was a very meaningful experience for me. There is so much to explore & learn. The video that is shown at the beginning of the museum tour was very well done, & the diorama experience was indescribable. Highly recommend for anyone interested in U.S. history.

We bought tickets for the diorama, movie and museum. Great experience overall! The movie was education and well presented, lasted about 15 minutes. The diorama visit is about 15 minutes as well and is worthwhile. The museum is huge, you could spend all day there. The gift shop is great. We left with toy rifles for the boys to do their own reenactment of the battles. The cafe offers delicious options, my only recommendation is they should offer more table for seating. They only had about 4-5 tables and that was not enough.

Gettysburg is a phenomenal historical site with more to see than the majority of visitors can get to in a short time. Just my personal practical advice, if you only have one day to visit the battlefield and don't want to hire a licensed guide, then the NPS auto tour is more than adequate. It is well marked, makes 16 stops at all the major highlights, and the audio & video segments do a great job. If you are more of an enthusiast and have 2 (or more) days, I recommend Carol Reardon & Tom Vossler's A Field Guide to Gettysburg. It lays out and thoroughly explains 37 stops. Taking a kind of combo approach, drive the auto tour with the Field Guide in hand. You get the shorter 16 stops, but the Field Guide gives you more depth and information at each spot. Plan on 2 to 4 hours on the battlefield itself and bring along a picnic and plenty of water. There's a lot to think about on this sacred ground. It's hard to stand anywhere in this peaceful, beautiful landscape and imagine the tragic carnage that happened here. But it's almost a spiritual kind of experience to try.

Parking at the visitor center was easy and that's were we recommend you start when visiting. The visitor center is very nice with some great displays, movies, bus your, driving tours, rest rooms and even have a cafe to grab a bite. We did a driving tour using the NPS app which was really very nice to explain and bring the battle and people to life as you look at the fields or hills Give this review a like👍❤️. FYI the budget cuts are not affecting this park. There were plenty of rangers and volunteers to make your visit enjoyable. In talking to the rangers they were all very happy since most of the cuts got rid a dead weight or managers that never talked to the public or helped your experience be better. Let the parks know you like having less overhead and more people making your visit better.

This was my second time visiting Gettysburg National Park. I was actually camping at Artillary Ridge which was about 5 minute drive. I could have hiked it. There has been a lot of changes. The museum has expanded and there was a special exhibit area. The Cyclorama is now an experience that starts with a film. Information is provided, directional markers have been installed so tou know where you are on the battlefield. The gift shop is nice and the grounds are lovely. You can take a bus tour to visit monunents or take the self guided audio tour. I highly recommend it, so much history.

We stopped in 30 Sept 2025 after engaging a tour guide for a “3 hour tour”, He had so much to tell us, he took 4 hours! Very informative and yet, so much could be said about the battles fought here. The Museum film and Cyclorama painting exhibit cost $40 for two seniors to see. The Cyclorama visit is timed but you can take your time walking the Museum. We visited the gift shop also. Tons of historical books there, along with glassware, magnets, and tasteful knickknacks. Lots of seniors and few school trips at this time of year.

Visiting this place was a very meaningful experience for me. There is so much to explore & learn. The video that is shown at the beginning of the museum tour was very well done, & the diorama experience was indescribable. Highly recommend for anyone interested in U.S. history.

We bought tickets for the diorama, movie and museum. Great experience overall! The movie was education and well presented, lasted about 15 minutes. The diorama visit is about 15 minutes as well and is worthwhile. The museum is huge, you could spend all day there. The gift shop is great. We left with toy rifles for the boys to do their own reenactment of the battles. The cafe offers delicious options, my only recommendation is they should offer more table for seating. They only had about 4-5 tables and that was not enough.

Gettysburg is a phenomenal historical site with more to see than the majority of visitors can get to in a short time. Just my personal practical advice, if you only have one day to visit the battlefield and don't want to hire a licensed guide, then the NPS auto tour is more than adequate. It is well marked, makes 16 stops at all the major highlights, and the audio & video segments do a great job. If you are more of an enthusiast and have 2 (or more) days, I recommend Carol Reardon & Tom Vossler's A Field Guide to Gettysburg. It lays out and thoroughly explains 37 stops. Taking a kind of combo approach, drive the auto tour with the Field Guide in hand. You get the shorter 16 stops, but the Field Guide gives you more depth and information at each spot. Plan on 2 to 4 hours on the battlefield itself and bring along a picnic and plenty of water. There's a lot to think about on this sacred ground. It's hard to stand anywhere in this peaceful, beautiful landscape and imagine the tragic carnage that happened here. But it's almost a spiritual kind of experience to try.

Parking at the visitor center was easy and that's were we recommend you start when visiting. The visitor center is very nice with some great displays, movies, bus your, driving tours, rest rooms and even have a cafe to grab a bite. We did a driving tour using the NPS app which was really very nice to explain and bring the battle and people to life as you look at the fields or hills Give this review a like👍❤️. FYI the budget cuts are not affecting this park. There were plenty of rangers and volunteers to make your visit enjoyable. In talking to the rangers they were all very happy since most of the cuts got rid a dead weight or managers that never talked to the public or helped your experience be better. Let the parks know you like having less overhead and more people making your visit better.

A few favorites: • Maryland Heights Trail – Challenging but offers the best view over the town and rivers. • Jefferson Rock Trail – A short hike to a historic spot where Thomas Jefferson once stood. • Appalachian Trail – Yes, a section of this iconic trail runs right through the park! Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just want a light nature walk, there’s something for every level of adventure. Be ready for a lot of walking, especially up hills and along uneven paths. The historic charm comes with some elevation, but the views and the ambiance more than make up for the effort.

It was my first time visiting and it was absolutely gorgeous. We did the Maryland heights hike, its been on my bucket list and im so glad to have gotten it done! The weather was beautiful, the leaves are turning, and it was quite busy bit it was also a Saturday morning!

Walked in from the visits center because parking in lower town is not available and the bus doesn't allow dog's. The walk is so amazing, along the Shenandoah River and railroad. Once your in town it is super quaint and beautiful. Had a nice lunch and walked is back. The stone steps leading back up the side of the hill are no joke.

Great experience. Arrived with our RV and had ample parking. Hopped on a shuttle leaving you at the base of town. Cute little taverns and shops. Adorable town. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and sad that the church was locked up. Why not leave it open for those of us wanting to spend some time inside praying? Cute town.

Just go! If you haven't been yet, you need to get there. So beautiful. Easy trails. So scenic and peaceful. Plenty of parking. And there's a free shuttle to the village. Loved it.

This parks is a must in this area plus visiting the little downtown. There is so much history and amazing views that you can spend a day easily. We just want to return and do hiking and keep exploring the park. Thanks so much to the employees that even without receiving a paycheck are willing to keep working and are keeping the park in an outstanding shape. You are real heros!

Great experience exploring and walking around this National Park. Parking can be difficult and there are many hills and stairs to climb to get to various areas. Overall a beautiful and well maintained site with lots of historical information and visuals.

Big thanks to those people who built this memorial place for those innocent victims.. I found myself so emotional and tears rolling down my eyes at the visitor center, learning more of what happened, listening to the audio recordings, seeing those found debris, and pictures of the victims and their information on that one unforgettable day.. They are the bravest heroes of the USA along with the others who helped 9/11 survivors... Don't ever forget them! 40 passengers and UA crew members + 1 unborn baby of the Flight 93. I honor them and may they rest in peace.. The Tower of Voices has a very beautiful structure. It wasn't windy that day, but I heard about 3 small chimes and it made me really happy and emotional. You can just even feel their presence there. Also a nice place to reflect and pray for them.. Thank you also to the 2 park staff who had a small talk with some people explaining more of what happened. They are very knowledgeable and nice. We also bought some souvenirs to help the park as well. Whenever you get the chance, please visit this memorial.

We were humbled by the care and attention to details that went into creating this monument to those to gave their lives to save others. This solemn graveyard speaks for those who met their fate on the clear September morning in the choice of materials and their arrangement and the surrounding gardens make for a peaceful respite. It was well worth the drive and an unforgettable experience.

An actual memorial that commemorates this dark time. It’s heavy but beautiful and heart wrenching. Please remember this is a place where our brave patriots lost their lives. This is hallowed ground and needs to be paid proper respect. Let’s Roll is forever etched in my heart.

Great memorial. Class of teenagers on school field trip while we were there. The teacher had them break up in groups and select a name off the memorial wall. They then had to look them up and tell the others about that person. Loved that the teacher made them see the names as real people. Cuddos to him! Have to admit we kind of followed them around. Learned things I didn't know.

Really enjoy visiting this memorial. They did an absolutely amazing job and made it non commercialized. We enjoyed every part of the exhibits. My only complaint is the fact that the sidewalks appear to be significantly damaged from snow removal. The wind chimes you mostly hear the clanking from the metal and not the tones. Will visit again.

Visited the Flight 93 National Memorial on a Wednesday in October—turns out the only thing open during a government shutdown is the wind! 🥶💨🧊 We braved the freezing temps and wind tunnel conditions to pay our respects at this powerful place. Couldn’t go inside the Visitor Center (thanks, shutdown 🙃🚪🔒), but we still saw the Tower of Voices (those wind chimes were working overtime! 🎶🌬️), the Wall of Names—each one a reminder of bravery and sacrifice 🕊️🙏—and the impact site marked by a giant boulder 🪨. Bonus: some local deer were hanging out, probably judging our choice of outerwear. 🦌🦌🧥 Shutdown or not, it was a moving experience. An amazing place to visit then pay your respects. I've never left for the dry eye. Take time to take in this amazing place couple things to keep in mind. If and when the president is coming to visit this location, the security is outstanding. Which means that you cannot get down to the lower section and the walk is locked. And normally there in the morning portion. So if you go around lunch time the parking is easier and you can take in everything without having a security issue. But if you are there when he is there, the tribute to the families is absolutely beautiful. Don't look at this as a vacation spot, or place to check off a bucket list. Look at this a place to thank God for the gifts that you have, the family is that you love that still with us. Antique pay respect to those who did lose their loved ones.

Parking was fairly easy with plenty of parking spots(if you selected a your time online and just show up for your scheduled time) if not parking can be much harder. Once you arrive you check in at the gate and then the pavilion at the desk in the middle and they will get you in the next tour regardless of scheduled time. The type was about an hour and it feels very scripted to stay on time. But you have time to go through parts of the house and all of the ground on your own. We found the experience to be very good and run very smoothly. The audio devices were good so you could always hear your guide even if you couldn't see them. Give this review a like 👍❤️ now please. And thanks for reading. There are restrooms at the pavilion but those are the only ones. There is a cafe with coffee and some light snacks. There is a building about the Kaufman's, if you don't know then go to that exhibit before or after your tour. There is is a gift shop with lots of stuff for your flw fix. Pro tip: Definitely but tickets online in advance for the best experience 💯

Book tickets ahead of time. Parking is easy, but you’ll need to wait for your scheduled entry. Restroom is available as well. It’s an easy walk around the site. I’ve always admired Frank Lloyd Wright’s work—Fallingwater is beautiful and unique, though it didn’t move me as much as some of his nearby designs. Still, worth visiting at least once for its remarkable setting and design.

Would have been 5 stars, but a third of the outdoor balconies are under renovation (new stucco and paint), detracting from FLW's elegant design. Didn't expect to need reservations during the fall shoulder season, but when we arrived at the gate we were told all tours were booked for the day! $20 per person to walk the grounds and the exterior of the buildings (there are two!) was well worth it, even though we didn't get to go inside.

Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius! I was fortunate enough to tour this on a ninth grade field trip; decades later privileged to revisit this architectural marvel. The harmony between nature and home, water actually runs through the home, with a pool, plunge pool, stairs that descend into the stream and of course, falling water. Step back in time to see how the ultra wealthy Kaufmann’s spent weekends or holidays outside of Pittsburgh. Original furnishings, appliances and priceless art await you as if you stepped back in time. The in-depth tour was exceptional; Ron C. and all the staff are rightfully passionate about the preservation and sharing of this one of a kind masterpiece! Recommend making reservations for tours well in advance. There is free dedicated parking. Please note the tours are not ADA friendly with uneven ground and narrow rock stairs.

So spectacular to see one of the most iconic homes ever built in person, again - the first time I was here was in June of 2020 and the health restrictions kept us from touring the inside, so this fall season view and inside tour of the magical Fallingwater masterpiece of Frank Lloyd Wright was all I'd hoped for and more! Frank's a family favorite, and I've toured many homes and displays of his work in NY, IL, VA, PA, OR, CA and AZ, but this one takes you to another place and time more distinctly. Hearing the little extra details of the family, their style, the furniture, the history from its construction to its endowment, and the maintenance of such a monstrous endeavor plus current renovations were all fascinating! The only thing that could possibly make it better was if it was a Bed & Breakfast and you could have your morning coffee with Frank and the owners themselves. To live in a FLW house must truly be a magical existence. I booked a tour, and recommend doing so in advance.

Stopped here while in the area. House and grounds tours were sold out so all we could do was the $20 property pass. It was well worth it. It was a beautiful day and we were able to follow the well marked paths, look in the windows and even walk on all the patios and porches of the home and carriage/guest house. The walk to the lookout is worth it as well. If you have any interest in FLW, or architecture, this is not to be missed.

We had a wonderful tour guide that provided information on this house & the that lived & vacation there. The house is amazing everything is be conserved to protect it for the future. The grounds were beautiful. Lots of trails to walk & explore. We tried but the rain wouldn’t cooperate. The have a nice cafe with drinks, bake goods & sandwiches.

PNC Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the country! Getting there is incredibly easy – it’s just a short walk from downtown Pittsburgh, and the area around the stadium is very walkable. Entry into the park was smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. The ballpark itself is beautiful with plenty of concessions available throughout. As expected at a major league park, food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the variety of options makes it worth it. The views are absolutely spectacular – you get an amazing backdrop of downtown Pittsburgh and the river, which adds so much to the game-day atmosphere. Even if your seats aren’t the best, PNC Park has plenty of areas to move around and take in different perspectives of the game. From the outfield concourses to open standing areas, every angle seems to offer a great view. Overall, the combination of easy access, great amenities, and one-of-a-kind views make PNC Park a must-visit for any baseball fan or visitor to Pittsburgh.

The stadium has good history, atmosphere. Easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. This was the only stadium that the usher wiped down my seat so far. We've been to several. Nice area, worth the trip. It was kind of confusing to walk around inside the stadium to check it out. Before we sat in our seats.

This is my favorite ball park. We travel the country just to see baseball stadiums. This is a great place. The view... the people. MLB has to do a better job with the food but the prices are below average and if you go when the gates open drinks were on happy hour prices. The ushers were great. This is the one ballpark that you want to sit higher up on the first base line so you have a great view. Normally I like to sit as close as I can to the field but the view is worth the sacrifice and the tickets are way cheaper. Take in as many games as you can while you're there.

Calling yourself the Best Ballpark in America takes some big ones. Being an SF Giants fan, I might have to disagree. I attended a Sunday afternoon game here, was a rather warm day, but my seats were soon in the shade and I was able to enjoy the rest of the game. The views are quite stunning, it’s a perfectly situated ballpark. My only complaint was that the concessions weren’t as special as the park.

The best baseball views in the country. The concourses are open and have lots of food and drinks available. Large bathrooms, easy to find seating. The exterior has lots of foor and bar options and the walk over the Clemente bridge makes for a great outing.

Best ballpark in the world with the best view of Pittsburgh! The employees are all very friendly- everyone at security, to the elevator operators or the vendors all make you feel immediately welcomed and seem very proud to work there. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking which is anywhere from $25-$40 on game day. The lots fill up quickly, so be prepared for a walk from the parking lots or garages surrounding the stadium. Food prices are also outrageous but there’s a lot of choices. I ordered the a slice of “world-famous” Caliente pizza which was huge and equivalent to two slices and cost $12 a slice. It was very good and also very greasy! All in all, if you’re a baseball fan, add this ballpark on your list to visit…you won’t be disappointed!

This is a beautiful park. It's clean and the staff were all friendly. Even the fans were kind and helpful. The surrounding area is nice and felt safe both before and after the game. There are a lot of great eateries and attractions around the stadium. The whole package makes for a great experience.

I enjoyed this funicular side trip. The view at the top was nicest part of the trek. Crossing the street from the parking lot felt like a game of Frogger. Up top there’s a few touristy things to see, but not much. I’m biased because I’m comparing this with the many I’ve done in the EU. Overall it was a nice side adventure, but not much to write home about.

Ticket prices r great and it’s a really cool experience. It’s old time feel to it which is cool it’s like u stepped back in time which I always love that feeling. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because when we went their was a group of rowdy teens playing around in the car and shaking it the whole way up the hill making it a little scary to say the least and the staff did nothing about it. But we will definitely be returning again

I didn't enjoy my visit for several reasons: 1. You have to pay for parking, which costs $5 for 2 hours. 2. I came with my wife and kids (13, 10, and a baby in a stroller). It was very hot, and we all felt tired. We had to wait in a long line to buy tickets, and they only accept exact cash. 3. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with one lady shouting instructions through a microphone. 4. The gift shop at the top was small and sold trivial items. This place needs updating. They should accept credit card payments, have a website for advance ticket purchases, and add air conditioning—it was unbearably hot.

Make sure you have exact change in cash! $2.50 each way so $5 per person. No change or credit cards here. Great view of Pittsburgh and some cool spots to check out at the top of Mt Washington

Ride the cable car At Duquesne Incline and see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh So whenever you see pictures of Pittsburgh, I am sure you are looking it downtown with and cable car in the foreground. it is easily one of the best things to do in Pittsburgh. From the cars, there are great views out over the city. Once used to transport workers all the way back since the 1800s. they are still using two original 1877 cable cars, the Duquesne Incline is a working museum, with the upper station providing photos and displays on the history of the incline. at the top, you can also see the working mechanism, wheel, and all. I don't know if it is the norm, but there was a guide in our cabin and he gave a brief idea about incline history, and how it come into the picture. Duquesne Incline was rescued and restored by a group of local residents in 1963 and still delights residents and visitors with its original, elegant, wooden cable cars Parking: $10 and that's valid for 24 hours. Parking is more expensive than tickets which are just $5. You don't pay at the counter, you put the exact amount in a cylindrical box (nobody checks what you are putting in the container). a counter lady comes in a while and shoves it with a stick. i have never seen a system like this. if you want to experience a slice of the city’s long history, go for it.

Rode the incline up and down as part of an excellent sightseeing tour offered by Molly's Trolleys. There is a panoramic view at the top of Pittsburgh from the north side. The ride is in a no-frills vintage car and there are antique photos in the waiting area.

The ride is worth the wait. The view up top is good, but the ride from the from the back of the car is really unique. It is shaky and is not smooth, which made it a fun ride.

Excellent experience even for the casual fan. The exhibits on the history of football and thr NFL were very well done. Pricey admissions, but worth it. Very little parking by 11:30 am. Buy your tickets online so you don't have to wait to get them at the ticket counter. Give yourself 2 hours for a pretty thorough walk through. More if you will read all the descriptions and watch all the videos.

The third time I have visited this over the course of many years, and one thing I can tell you that this Hall of Fame is organized and easy to go through. Just totally unbelievable all the facts and figures and stats that this place has. I hear they're going to be expanding again looks like I'll have to do another visit and then not too distant future. Just too much to talk about here so my suggestion is just go for a visit. They do give veteran discounts. Also I'm told that Tuesday is the best day to go as is the lightest day and tickets are half price.

Crossed this 9ff my Bucket List on 10.12.2025. Very comprehensive exits and displays regarding the history of football. The Player Bust and Super Bowls Rings sections are Outstanding, and the displays of footballs, helmets, cleats, jerseys, and other items from specific players and teams are Awesome. I was fortunate to meet Green Bay Psckers Legend Dave Robinson during my visit. Highly Recommend to all football fans and to anyone traveling through Canton, Ohio

If you’re in to football this is a neat spot to visit. Lots of NFL history here. Tickets are about $45 each. Lots to see and almost all indoors. Friendly staff. Clean and well put together exhibits.

My husband is NOT a football fan or even a sports fan but he even had fun here. It was so nice. It seemed as though everywhere we looked there was something special to see. Even the most knowledgeable football fans can learn something new. We stopped at the cafe and to our surprise it was not pricey at all. I will definitely be back.

Great Senior discount on Tuesday! Not a huge fan of football but I absolutely loved learning more about it. The history really amazed me. So dis the GORGEOUS championship Superbowl rings. A must see. Interactive " you be the referee" make the call exhibit was super fun. Seeing all those heads of guys inducted into the Hall of Fame was humbling. So much to see so allow the full day to enjoy. I would definitely plan a second trip there. Bring a few fans with you!
