I have been to Valley Forge once before, and I just saw a comedy show there. The casino for my 21st birthday was amazing, and I loved the smoking section. Tonight’s show with Sam Comroe was amazing! The entry man ended up being a part of the show and was hilarious! The entire crew was amazing and had me dying the entire time! I loved it from the start to finish. I laughed through all of the crew tonight and would recommend the casino and their frequent shows! Even the bartender was hilarious and kept me entertained while waiting!

Stayed in the newly renovated Stardust tower for 2 nights. The hotel room was beautiful - open closet, 2 double beds, desk, refrigerator and safe in a nice credenza with a big screen TV mounted to the wall (with Netflix and YouTube). The sink/vanity was nicely done and outside the small bathroom (toilet and tub/shower only). Turn down service is by request only. There seems to be about 20 rooms per floor in a circular pattern which was unique. There were 3 elevators and we only had to wait on it a couple of times but otherwise it was pretty quick to get in and out. There’s ample parking outdoors in addition to valet service. It was a short drive to the King of Prussia mall and Philadelphia Expo Center.

I was happy with everything about the casino. The food is good, the drinks are free if you're playing games, you have a smoking place with games which is nice. The machine I was playing malfunctioned with over 600 dollars in it and although it took them an hour to figure it out they made sure I got my money and were very nice about it. The only thing I would say is I went in with 6000 dollars and came home with 2500 🤣🤣🤣 I never have any luck at valley forge casino and I always win at Hollywood in perryville md. I do understand that that's the plan when you walk in the door is to get all your money so I'm not saying anything negative about the casino Im just making an observation that I tend to win more during the 7am to 10pm time frame and I do better at Hollywood. With that said I still go to valley forge casino because it's on my way home from work most days. Lol. Good luck everyone!!!!!

We love Boyd, but this facility could be much better. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4:45, then we had the hardest time getting a waitress to come around and give us a drink. We eventually sat at the bar and those guys were amazing.
Jerry C — Google review
My absolute go to Casino. It's just right size and the atmosphere is safe and clean. I can even play and cash in my lottery winnings when I go there. The servers come around consistently and Valley Forge gives out good incentives.
Yvette P — Google review
I don’t know if we were just in an odd room but it was really dark. I mean so dark we had to move our suitcases next to a lamp to see. The vanity was in the hallway. Furniture was old and bed terribly uncomfortable. It was just a bit tacky. The staff was great but we were really disappointed that the bar outside the casino shuts down at 10 on the weekends. We were there for business and not gamblers so this was a bit disappointing. We just do not feel that we got the value for how much we paid for our room.
Amy C — Google review
The room was clean, welll kept, nicely appointment on overall pretty nice. It has a modern look and feel. I would have given the room 5 stars, except our balcony overlooked a roof. Not really the hotels issue, but a little bit of a bummer. That said, the gentleman working the front desk was extremely pleasant, cheerful, and was very welcoming. About a quick minute or two walk over to the casino.
T M — Google review
Let’s talk about Mike Wilson Bar tender at the comedy club. Guy over served me and says $20 unlimited drinks. One that’s not a thing So after my first drink I am told hey can you pay for one my manager is going watching. I said no because I was told unlimited drinks for $20 and guy proceded to tell security and staff I didn’t pay. Which is wrong I mean unreal out of this place I’m a young comic who wanna perform here and told basically I was stealing cause I didn’t wanna pay bartender for what he didn’t promos

Bury The Hatchet King Of Prussia - Axe Throwing

Mentioned on
6 lists
Adventure sports center
Fun & Games
Bury The Hatchet King Of Prussia offers an exciting opportunity to try your hand at axe throwing, a sport that has gained popularity in the United States after originating in Canada. Visitors can learn the art of axe throwing from experienced Axe Masters before engaging in friendly one-on-one games with friends or family. Each session allows for a two-hour reservation of throwing lanes, during which participants can play multiple games under the guidance of professionals.
We had an incredible experience at Bury the Hatchet for our small business team-building event. Reggie was a fantastic axe-throwing coach (axe master)—professional, engaging, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had fun. He walked us through the games, gave helpful tips, and kept the energy high the entire time. The facility was clean, well-organized, and perfect for corporate events or group outings. Highly recommend Bury the Hatchet for anyone looking for a unique and fun team-building activity or corporate event venue. We'll definitely be back!

Jordan was amazing!!! Made my 30th impromptu birthday night so much fun. We did the premium add on and were impressed with her thorough demonstration and skills!! Facility is always clean and friendly. Thanks!
Amber L — Google review
Bury the Hatchet provides a great distraction from life. Getting a bunch of friends, colleagues, or family together to toss sharp objects is always fun. It’s such a simple premise, but axe-throwing is so freeing and calming. Yet, it provides a great sense of competition as well. One of the best parts of axe-throwing is that anyone can do it and anyone can get good at it. Hitting a bull’s eye, whether accidental or on purpose, provides an awesome rush of excitement. The opposite outcome is hilarious: when the axe bounces off the target because it hits at just the wrong angle. The staff delivers a fun experience while keeping everyone safe. They make sure you have proper form when throwing and they ensure that nobody is standing somewhere they shouldn’t.
Mappening R — Google review
Awesome time on Walk on Wednesday with 🪓 Axe Master Tanika 🪓 . Fun games based on hitting the 🎯 target. BYOB. Super chill good times. They also have billiards 🎱, air hockey and connect four games when you're not throwing. 14 Lanes! And the same location has escape rooms also.

Valley Forge National Historical Park offers trolley and ranger-led walking tours, making it a great destination for history enthusiasts. The park features miles of trails that allow visitors to explore the Schuylkill River and Valley Creek. The River Trail provides stunning views along the Schuylkill, while the Valley Creek Trail showcases the tributary flowing into the river.
Beautiful, well maintained facilities. One of the best US National parks. Visitor center is really great. Bus tour is cherry on the top during those hot summer days or chilly winter or rain. Great options to do hiking, walking trails, biking, stretching, picnic, pets, anything you want to pursue with nature. Just go for it! And witnessing the struggling era of one of the greatest democracy and harsh stories is so much worth it!! It reminds all of us the value of freedom that we as human beings have during peace time.

I try to get out the Valley Forge national Park at least three or 3 or 4 times during the summer, what a beautiful day to walk the trails and see the sites. I love the history behind us. They have a 5 mile loop in an 8 mile loop they also have trails through the woods and also through the field. This is an absolutely beautiful park. I like watching it through the seasons there’s also an excellent visitor centerwith light snacks, artifacts and some souvenirs. They also have bathroom facilities there.
KingVegan — Google review
One of the top historic national parks across America. Extremely well laid out and maintained across hundreds of acres of pristine park land. Only about a half hour from Philadelphia downtown and minutes from the King of Prussia mall. Easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 202 and 422 highways. They have a visitors center and offer trolley tours as well. Miles of very well paved walking trails are in place. Catch some of the most beautiful sunsets in the area. Must visit with family and kids
Gautham V — Google review
Place is huge. Plenty of places to park around each monument area if you don’t have time to walk everywhere. Woulda took me hours to talk the whole place. Gotta buy a bike or get good at running to get around whole place. Saw a few wedding photographers and groups taking pics. They kept asking us to move so we weren’t in background. But photographers supposed to know photoshop. I guess it’s cheaper to not do, it idk? But got a lot of steps in here. Some of the cabins have historical stuff also. The visitor center was closed cause the government shut down!!! Had to find another place at Wawa to use the bathroom!!!
Justin D — Google review
Other than the government shutdown, (no restrooms) this place was amazing. We learned so much. We were here the first week in November, colors were beautiful. Not too many ppl, the ones we saw and interacted with were kind and engaging. The park ranger we talked to was kind and very helpful. We did the auto tour and it was exceptional.
Craig C — Google review
I had no idea how large this park is! My family was here on a blustery fall Sunday and the main trail was very busy at 9 am. We did the driving tour because of our young kids and the weather. Having the NPS app was very helpful. The government was shut down on our visit so I can't speak to the visitor's center but would love to come back and see it and chat with park rangers and volunteers. The park itself is beautiful, especially in the fall. It is a lovely place to take pictures and spend a nice day outside.
M. G — Google review
We visited on a late Sunday morning in late June 2025. There were plenty of parking spots in the visitor center parking lot. There were a few spots that were shaded under trees. There is also a restroom facility here with water fountain and a Bike Rental shed. It was kind of a hike from the parking lot up to the visitor center. We got our NPS passport cancellation stamps first when we walked in. Then we were told the park film was about to start in the adjacent building so we ran up the stairs and outside to the next building. There were a bunch of signs to point you in the right direction but it was not intuitive. The park film is 19-mins long and plays on the hour and half-hour from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. It's a fairly large theater it plays in. We also grabbed our Junior Ranger books for the kids from the info desk so they were working on it during the film. After the film was over we walked back over to the visitor center and back down the stairs. There were some exhibits at the top of the top of the stairs as well but not many. Then explored the gift shop which was quite large and to the left when you walk into the visitor center. They had a lot of merch specific for Valley Forge National Historical Park which was great. We grabbed some pins and a rubber duck. If you walk to the right when you enter the visitor center there is a large exhibit area. It's pretty huge. One of the largest indoor ones I've seen. There are a number of interactive exhibits to keep the kids entertained as well. We walked around and explored and took pictures in here while kids finished junior ranger and played. We turned junior ranger books in and got the badges before we headed out to see some of the sites. We first stopped at the winter encampment which had a number of log huts each with exhibits inside. There was also a reenactor/interpreter in one of them. Good for a 10 min stop. Then we stopped at the National Memorial Arch. We where hear close to noon and it was hard to get a nice photo. The best place was actually form underneath in it's shadow. Sadly there were a number of people here and hard to get a photo with no one else in it. You park at the bottom of the hill and have to walk up to the arch. It is a caved walkway. We stopped next at Washington's Headquarters. There was restrooms here next to parking lot. You walk down the winding path to the Valley Forge Train Station which had a number of exhibits inside. You continue down the path to Washington's Headquarters. There are multiple rooms here to explore and up stairs. The trail is a loop so you goa round and make your way back to the top. The last stop we made was at Washington Memorial Chapel. It just looked so cool on the outside. You are able to walk into the bottom of the tower and look around. There are some signs. There is also a store and cafe in the back of the church but this is an actual church and has services and we were there on a Sunday. Overall this place was huge and we skipped so many things but we were on a tight itinerary and we need to head out. We spent over 2 hrs exploring Valley Forge National Historical Park and I feel we barely scratched the surface.

Produce market
We usually go to another orchard but my ²0 year old, mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and this will be our new go to The hayride was beautiful, funnel cake was delicious and we enjoyed seeing the animals. Staff was extremely helpful with mobility getting my son on and off of the hayride in his wheelchair. It was truly a wonderful day

We live coming here to pick apples and shop the fresh produce in the market. They also have some bad ass apple cider doughnuts they r BUSSIN ! This market has some really good produce like I mean it’s gas ! That means it’s good ! Definitely recommend doing the hayride out to the apple field because it is a long walk. Come and check this place out if ur in the area

Milburn Orchards is one of the nation’s top rated orchards. They have great activities for the kids. Their store of fresh produce, meats, baked goods, cider, sauces, and swag is one of our weekly shopping spots. They are open early spring through Christmas I believe. We have purchased holiday deserts for them so we did not have to baked and they were so good. Their fall festival has horse rides, hay rides, face painting, assorted foods, and farm animals. The kids will love it. I highly recommend Milburn Orchards to all.
Sean H — Google review
Milburn Orchards is truly my family’s happy place! We have hosted 2 birthday parties in their big backyard and both were a big hit/ easy to organize. We love getting a season pass to hang out in the big backyard! HIGHLY recommend for all seasons that they’re open- you can host a party off season and have the whole big backyard to yourselves!
Julie G — Google review
A little pricey to get in, but lots of fun stuff once inside! Maize maze, petting zoo, kid games, and spots to chill. Food, drink, and market goods all cost extra once you pay to get in.
Kathryn L — Google review
Had my son 1st birthday party yesterday (7/13) and it was amazing. The pavilion was clean and spacious! Rebecca and Mrs Mary made sure everything went well, they even helped us set up and check on us periodically to make sure we were okay. Every staff we encountered with was polite and helpful. Thank you Milburn Orchards for a wonderful time 🥰
Kamiesha G — Google review
High quality fruit of all kinds. Had lunch on the deck ( which could use some fans- I asked to have it turned on but they never did) the peach/prosciutto pizza was amazing as were the cool peach drinks
Amy H — Google review
Went apple picking and visited the Fall Festival with my partner and a couple friends and their toddler. The Fall Festival was very family-friendly with many activities included in the price. Just know that several popular attractions (like pony rides) cost extra. Apple picking was you-pick with two varieties still there at the end of the season when we went: the orchard's own Sweet Zoes and Granny Smith apples. Both were amazing! We parked and rode a tractor over to the orchards then walked the rows. Even at the very end of the season that's were a decent amount to pick from and we filled about three bags between us all. Food on premises was a step about fair food but the apple cider donuts and a gallon of apple cider to take home were a MUST BUY. They're absolutely fantastic and worth the trip just by themselves!

Philadelphia Premium Outlets

Outlet mall
Shopping
Factory Outlets
Philadelphia Premium Outlets is a large and convenient shopping destination located off Route 422. The outlet offers a huge parking lot to accommodate weekend crowds, with well-maintained walkways and free parking. With over 100 different shops, visitors can find a wide variety of named brands offering decent discounts compared to retail stores. The mall features covered sidewalks, benches for relaxation, and beautiful green areas. However, during busy seasons like holidays or weekends, it's best to arrive early due to limited parking.
I’m satisfied with my purchase from this outlet. Almost all the brands I was looking for were available here. The prices were slightly lower than usual due to the start of the new year, which made shopping even more enjoyable. In the end, my family and I were able to choose the food we wanted at the food court, with options that catered to each of our tastes.😊
Z S — Google review
There’s no sales tax in Pennsylvania, and the prices at this outlet were quite satisfying. I bought quite a few things. There weren’t many people when I went, so the overall experience was great. The selection of brands was a bit limited, but I was still very satisfied.
Stephon C — Google review
This is a fabulous shopping destination. This is a shopping spot you definitely want to visit. During the week is the best time to go. I went on a Friday afternoon and there were no crowds or long lines in the stores. Parking is easy and accessible. I went to the Vera Bradley outlet store because they had a great sale going on. The prices were unbelievable. There are lots of spots to grab something to eat, including an indoor food court. Weekends and holiday times will be much busier but the sales will be hard to pass up. Plan on spending a few hours there especially if you go into a lot of stores. Have fun shopping!
Susan P — Google review
This is a great place to buy clothes. I am from Reading, which is a place that doesn't have a lot of stores and things and I came here to check out this outlet and it is so great! Reading doesn't have any outlets at all, especially pretty ones like this one! Their shoe department stores all have my shoes size which was very difficult to find in Reading. The 5 and below also has a lot of great things and they had the light pink steering wheel cover that I wanted for a long time for only 7 dollars which is an amazing deal! Online on other websites like amazon have it for 30 bucks! I also love how they have a lot of vending machines with snacks and drinks and I also love the little strings lights hanging over the top of the outlet. It is an amazing mall! I can't wait to visit again! I highly recommend coming here! Their shoes are also super comfortable and have memory foam in them! I love this outlet so much! 🥰👏🏼
Kailey T — Google review
In addition to great shopping at a wide variety of outlet stores (clothing, food, jewelry, kitchenware, and more), this extensive outdoor mall makes for a pleasant walk—especially in the fall. Located just 10 minutes from King of Prussia via excellent highways, it’s an easy getaway from the urban scene. With a mix of high-end and more affordable outlets, there’s something here for the whole family. The food court is an extra bonus, and there’s plenty of free on-site parking.
Nhung V — Google review
Good shopping outlet. Wide and spacious but manageable. Excellent selection of shops. Plenty of parking. Visited on Sunday and it was excellent shopping experience with quite shops and no hustle. Prices are good but you need to work at finding a bargain. Food court is insufficient for the place side and more options of food without driving would be great. Still, great shopping experience.
Sam A — Google review
Great shopping experience. All the stores you need in one convenient location. The Nike store had me ready to spend all my money. Clean food court with good options to refuse during a power shopping session.
Workaholic M — Google review
Philadelphia Premium Outlets, located in Pottstown, PA, is a fantastic outdoor shopping destination with over 130 stores featuring top brands like Nike, Tory Burch, Polo Ralph Lauren, and UGG. You can expect to find great deals, with discounts ranging from 25% to 65% off at a variety of stores. The layout is spacious and well-maintained, providing a pleasant shopping experience, whether you're there for high-end fashion or everyday essentials. There are plenty of food options, including Starbucks and Tony Luke's, perfect for grabbing a bite while taking a break from shopping. With convenient parking and easy access right off Route 422, it's a great destination for both locals and travelers who love to shop. Overall, it’s a great place to score some amazing deals while enjoying a day out.

Struble Trail- Uwchlan Trailhead

Hiking area
Nature & Parks
Biking Trails
Beautiful Walk with multiple bridges, with the creek running through. It was a nice way to ground and bring in peace.
Monet B — Google review
Struble Trail is truly a gem! The majestic views, serene creekside points, and opportunities for birdwatching make it a perfect spot for nature lovers. It’s a great place to unwind and connect with nature.
Sameer S — Google review
Took a nice stroll on this trail yesterday with our children. My favorite part is that it is shaded. I enjoy walking trails in the summer but being sun bombed is unpleasant. This trail is well shaded. My husband and children had a blast walking along the water looking for rocks. My husband found broken pieces of old pottery. You get the joy of being in nature without walking through the mud
Jamie H — Google review
One of the best paved trails in the area. Very safe and not overly populated. Wonderful in warm weather or the fall. Careful attention is paid to the trail year round to warn nature lovers of hazards such as cracks in the pavement. There is a very steep hill that leads to a quiet neighborhood that is great for training.
Nickolas T — Google review
I hiked the Uwchlan trail which was beautiful and peaceful. This parking lot is for those wishing to hike the Struble Trail and/or the Uwchlan trail. Shamona Creek runs along most of the trail. I would probably recommend the Struble trial for biking, running, or waking the dog because the Uwchlan trail is more narrow. Like the Struble Trail, the Uwchlan has mile markers every 1/2 mile. The trail is mostly shaded and mostly flat, making it perfect for a hot summer day. The trail ends soon after passing Pennypack Country Club, ending on North Milford Road. The final mile marker you’ll see is 1 7/8 miles. You can continue forward if you wish, as there is a sidewalk running along the neighborhoods. I would come back to this trail because I live close by.
Nicole A — Google review
Really great trail and the people that maintain it do an awesome job 100%. Anytime throughout the year it's great. The only problem is oftentimes bikers. Two in particular are kind of crazy. The one guy had a yellow and black Jersey on and the other one had like some bright orange and red colored Jersey. Anyway, they came flying by me and it was no big deal but then it won't fly by a family with two kids and a third in a baby carriage and the one biker yelled back at the dad and the mom to keep their kids on the right side of the road. Which you should keep your kids on the right side of the road. That's fine but he's dopes were flying by so fast and didn't even give the courtesy on your left. They were just really jerks. If you see the bikers say hello, you'll know them. They're dressed fully ready for the tour de France And swerving in and out of people at top speed. They look like they're 45 years old too, so they're not like young kids and should certainly know better..

Was a great experience. Not as scary as it would seem. Easy take off and easy landing great photos and staff was amazing. Our pilot was Stan and he was awesome. Thanks for the flight. A little pricey but worth it if u have the money to spend.
Robert M — Google review
This rating is for their poor management and their refund policy, not for the flight experience since I have never successfully experienced it. The main reason I am so mad about them is that They Don't Keep Their Words. I booked my initial flight on April, got a phone call saying they had to reschedule me since my booking was conflicted with another group, then they cancelled my booking for 3 more times because of weather, which I could understand. I just got tired of it, didn't want to try another time. Then I requested for a full refund, which should make sense. But their refund policy requires 15% fee. I guess it works for people who wants to cancel their initial flight, but not for my special case. I called them about my request, the lady answered the phone call could not decide and passed me to another gentleman, who agreed to make a special case for me and give me a full refund. But they never did refund me the money. Called them again, and this time the man who answered the phone (who called himself the man managing refund) refused to do the full refund with strong voice, even though I told him the promise they made on the previous phone call. Beautiful!!! What can I say?

Went to celebrate my birthday with them and the experience was AMAZING ! received a lot of help from Brenda who was always willing to answer all my questions. The day of my flight, the crew was great. Stan, our pilot was the man! After it was over, we received souvenirs and some complimentary champagne to finish off the day! Only reason I didn't give them a 5 star was because of the distance. It took me almost 2 hours and a half to get there. Besides that, Great job!

This was amazing experience. The Pilot and staff were so professional and I was most amazed at how they landed this balloon. My favorite part was ending the evening with champagne while the pilot toasted our glasses and recited The Balloonist's Prayer. It was a beautiful end to a wondrous experience in the air.

After having booked a hot air balloon for Sunday Aug. 16th, 2020. I contacted the company on Thursday Aug. 13th at around 9:40am, wanting to re-schedule for Sat. Aug. 15th or any other day prior to Sunday because, according to the weather forecast, it was going to rain Sunday. I was going to propose to my girlfriend on that day. I spoke with Taylor, I believe, who strongly advised me NOT to reschedule for Sat. and to keep my original reservation. The day of, Neil called me at around 12:30pm, canceling the flight which was scheduled for 6:00pm. I was told to be on the lookout for further updates, to which nobody reach out other than to remind me that they’ll be keeping 15% of my money ($150). After no updates, There was no rain, I was unable to propose to my girlfriend, the sun even came out, and they kept my money. Following these conditions, I feel as this was a very malicious and strictly calculated scam they practiced on me. I am requesting for the refund of $150 they kept from me. Services were not provided. I have kindly contacted the company with proposition on a civil resolution but they haven’t intended to cooperate. I requested to converse with the manager, they refused to even passed me on, and said the manager shall call. The manager never did.

Friends-Concord Point Lighthouse is a beautifully restored 1827 lighthouse offering historical exhibits, educational tours, and stunning ocean views. Visitors can enjoy the sight of lighted boats parading along the shoreline from the Amtrak Bridge to the lighthouse. The area features a walking trail, museums, gift shops, and opportunities for fishing and beach activities. It's a peaceful spot with wild animals roaming around.
The local support is an overwhelming source of inspiration. Thank you to the “Friends” for preserving this national treasure. A true piece of Americana and a worthy stop for anyone on a road trip passing through. The grounds are very well- kept and clean.

Amazing place to walk in the morning and evenings. Super calm, you can hear the birds chirping and relax. There are public clean restrooms on the other side of the street.
Michele G — Google review
Decided to do a quick impromptu stop to see the lighthouse with the family. Its a cute little spot. You'd expect the bugs to be awful so close to the water but they weren't that bad at all. Probably would reccomended visitng at sunrise hours if you get the chance to see the sunrise in the background. These photos are taken near sunset. Would reccomend for a little stroll break for any passers by on a long trip.
Kyle L — Google review
Wonderful hidden gem of a park. The walkway is wide and easy to walk with strollers or pets. Gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay and a quaint burger/ice cream joint by the boat launch to watch the sunset from. We visited after the light house was closed, as an evening stroll and dinner stop on our travels down I95. Highly recommend stopping here for a break while traveling!
Leslie T — Google review
Stopped here with my wife. Depending on the time of day you are likely to get some great photos. Must be epic at sunset... So we'll have to come back. We stopped about mid-day and parked near the Promenade Grille. There should be ample parking near the marina

This place is so beautiful. Perfect peaceful escape from busy words. Great for a morning walk in boardwalk or just reading a book or fishing, It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and truly unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in a quiet, beautiful setting

Pleasant place to relax. The Susquehanna River and its vast expanse flows alongside as you walk the Promenade. The Promenade is at least a 1/4 mile long. Maybe a 1/2 mile. It's enough to get your walk on. The Promenade is a very cool place and a good use of public space. You will find the historic Concord lighthouse, the historic house of the Lighthouse Keeper, a duck decoy museum, (no never visited), an eatery for a quick bite, a marina, and places along the Promenade where people fish for dinner. There's a pier that juts out into the Susquehanna. People fish there. Another spot where people fish right from shore is located near the eatery. Find this peaceful gem of a place in Havre de Grace, MD just off Rt 40 and down Revolution Road to its end. Make right. See lighthouse to your left. I come for the Nature. The place is a show-off with nature, birdlife and the river with its lapping "baby" waves. Its' a place where you can sit back, relax, take in the view and breath fresh air. Nice! People are friendly, too. -Bill Curtis /New Mark Advertising Specialties

Looking for a spot to launch your boat? A spot to picnic? A walkway to stroll with your family? A place of both historic & natural beauty? The Promenade is that place. You can avail yourself of the restroom facilities, the deli style restaurant and the pavilions at the harbor. A stroll will take you to the lighthouse. Top all this off with a wide range of shops and places to eat nearby and you have a place to spend the day or a vacation. Love this place.

September Farm Cheese is a delightful destination that offers a unique experience for cheese and ice cream enthusiasts. The shop features an array of delectable cheeses, jams, and old-fashioned ice cream made right on the farm. Visitors can indulge in flavors like Triple Chocolate Earthquake and Strawberry Swirl while also enjoying hot and cold sandwiches, soups, and fries for lunch or supper. Additionally, the store provides various food items available for takeout.
People from my work have brought in their cheesecake tarts, which are unbelievably good. So, I decided to stop in and check the place out for myself. We walked around the store, which is a very nice upscale kind of farm market. Your greeted right at the door by the case of cheesecake tarts. They have an ice cream area to the left and a cafe in the back. Everything was good and I would visit again.

Great discovery as a meeting place between friends in DE/PA! Have lots of cheeses, cheese curds, yummy ice cream too. We ate lunch there, ordering at counter and taking a seat on the sun filled heated porch. Lots of interesting food items. I got the Honeybrook sandwich and it was great. The fried cheese curds were delicious!

We had a blast at September Farm Cheeses! If you think there's only cheese, go inside and prove yourself wrong 😉 The staff there were all extremely polite, kind, helpful and pleasant. Can't say enough good things about the girl who was running the cash register for the sandwich shop today at around 12:45. I should have gotten her name so I could put a good word in with the manager, but I was flying solo today with three kids, so I didn't think of that. I'll find out who it was next time we go. I had one of the best turkey melts I've ever had in my life today. The kids had fun meals of chicken nuggets and smiley fries with Capri Suns. After that, we had delicious, super moist chocolate chip cookies. They also have ice cream (looked homemade, but we didn't try any today – next time!!) After lunch, the kids played at the playground on site.

I brought my three year old daughter here after depositing some trash at the dump. We got lunch, ice cream, played on the playground, and watched the goats. The crispy chicken wrap was really good, and it came with chips and plenty of pickles. It was big enough for us to split. It’s a good spot for anyone, but extra accommodating for someone with young kids.

I really love September Farms. Delicious things for sale, some gift items, very pleasant place to visit. One of my very favorite places. Charming play area. Good parking . I wish the prices were a little lower, but high prices are pretty much everywhere now. Everything I have ever had was very tasty. I just wish the higher prices weren't as high. It seems kind of ridiculous on a few things, like 3.50 for an extremely small children's ice cream portion today. Maybe a half cup of ice cream with no toppings or cone. But I still like going there very much. Beautiful business and people.

Time for some cheese! Really large variety of cheese, and cheese gift packs. Also has baked goods, candies, and other snacks and foods. Curiously no local butter though.

First time here and I totally get it! 🧀✨ These fried cheese curds were crispy, melty perfection — 10/10, would order again. 😋

I ordered 10 Italian hoagies this past week for a family get together. I was sadly disappointed. They had less meat then previously experienced and I didn't see any cheese. The tomatoes were a little mushy too. I'm usually not too picky, but I had their hoagies before and was very satisfied. I don't know what happened this time. The only reason I'm writing this post is so the sandwich shop is made aware. Maybe it was a one time oversight. I look forward to trying their sandwiches in the future.

Perched atop Mount Penn, the Reading Pagoda is a striking seven-story Japanese-style structure with a rich history dating back to 1908. Originally intended as a luxury resort, it was later gifted to the city of Reading and has since become an iconic symbol of the area. While not open for interior exploration, visitors can still enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline from its grounds, which are open daily from dawn until dusk.
The Pagoda in Reading is a really cool and unique spot to check out. The view from the top is awesome—you can see the whole city and the surrounding area. It’s peaceful and a great place to relax, take photos, or just enjoy the scenery. It’s also a great ride if you’re on a motorcycle. The roads leading up are fun, with nice curves and a good climb, and there’s plenty of space to park at the top. The Pagoda has a lot of history too, which makes the stop even more interesting. Definitely worth the trip if you’re riding through the area.

This spot is pretty cool,it's a long and winding ride to get here but it's totally worth the trip,we did not get to go inside due to renovations but it was cool just to see something that holds so much history, the view is pretty amazing,it was pretty windy up there but it was an unusually windy day in general. I would recommend anyone considering taking a trip up here to do it. If for nothing else then the experience of it. I think this would be a hot spot for watching fireworks on 4th of july

The Pagoda is being restored, but we still enjoyed a quick stop by! There was lots of parking and the drive up the mountain is fun, as well as pretty. The view is gorgeous, and we were happy to stop by despite the scaffolding. Will visit again when the scaffolding comes down and we can go inside.

The Reading Pagoda is one of Pennsylvania’s most unique landmarks, sitting high on Mount Penn with breathtaking views of Reading and beyond. Built in 1908 as part of a luxury resort that never happened, the Pagoda has since become a beloved symbol of the city. Its Japanese-style architecture stands out against the Pennsylvania landscape, making it a must-visit for history buffs, photographers, and anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Inside, you’ll find exhibits on its history, plus a gift shop. The best part? The panoramic view from the top, especially at sunrise or sunset! Whether you’re stopping for a quick visit or spending time exploring, the Reading Pagoda is a true hidden gem.

Great sunset views. Great place to take pics of ur car, great place to see the city lights at night n great place to view the mountain overlook. It woulda been a 10/10 but it’s a very sketchy area ppl wouldn’t stop blastin their terrible music which made it unenjoyable sadly. Luckily me and some other people bullied her into stopping but the loud music is a terrible problem plus the people up here who look like they wanna rob you for no reason. Cool spot tho otherwise
Miles M — Google review
Under major construction right now so really hard to get decent pictures and no access to the pagoda until they are done/ Such a landmark for Reading. The city is restoring it and I’m not sure what the target date is for completion. At one time it was supposed to be a nice luxury resort built in 1907. not sure that they ever got it going but it sure is beautiful!! They are taking donations for the restoration google pagoda reading for the site.

FirstEnergy Stadium, formerly known as Municipal Memorial Stadium, is the oldest park in the Eastern League and home to the Reading Phillies. With a seating capacity of 10,000, this classic minor league ballpark has been hosting baseball games for over 70 years. The stadium offers great views of the game and has received awards for its attendance levels. It's a perfect place for families to enjoy a fun night out with various activities for kids and adults alike.
Beautiful old ballpark! Absolutely first class stadium! The food is great, service is first class & the views are beautiful! Love the old style of this classic old ballpark! We went during the mega fireworks, absolutely amazing show! The Fightins won & we got to see some fireworks, what more could you ask for!

Very family friendly. All the seats in the ballpark are close to the field. And the price is right. Food was good. Parking good but a nightmare getting out of there! Added another 40 minutes on our hour drive home. Lots of fun being had in the park. It was Star Wars Night and Fire Works which were some of the best I've seen.
Diane M — Google review
Great ballpark to visit. Good prices. Nice long firework show after the ballgame. Fun mascot concert before the game and got several mascot autographs. Parking is free and close and yes you will wait getting out at the end but that is common at most any game or concert. Recommend.
Michael G — Google review
This ballpark is a gem! I was there for a high school reunion in the adjacent Redners Event Center and saw the game perfectly, but looking around, it seemed that there were no bad seats in the stadium at all! And you could see the amazing and extensive fireworks display at the end of the game with great clarity. I also took the time to check out the concessions and sports clothing store while there, quite a lot on offer. There was even a live small concert going on in the concession area at the end of the game. Definitely kid-friendly, and fun for couples, young and old. Parking lot and street parking after 5 pm was free but the roads in and out are one lane, basically, so prepare for a wait. You park at your own risk.

I would give 5 stars except I could not find gluten free. I bought fries but couldn't get a meal. I was told I could take the hot dog out of the roll. Obviously I cannot do that, as I have Celiac. I guess not enough of us who attend games have food intolerance. The seats are good, the fans are all friendly, the parking is free, unless you want to buy reserved, and food items are not as expensive as at regular team concessions. Even saw awesome fireworks.

My ABSOLUTE favorite local brewery!!! The owner and employees are THE friendliest people you will EVER meet. Great atmosphere!! Many different places to sit and enjoy your beverage. HUGE bonus is they ARE PET FRIENDLY... Meaning they allow our awesome pet and rescue snakes!! They actually enjoy the variety of something different. We are not made to feel like freaks or out casts and are never turned away. They're all ALWAYS super welcoming. They have food trucks and live music also!!! Any day of the week I highly recommend this brewery to everyone 😁

They have the best beer in the county. Blood orange Carpe Diem is a staple in our family. The sheer variety of beers on tap ensures that everyone we bring here can enjoy something, even kombucha. So many seating options to choose from, and an outdoor fire pit when it's chilly. Cheers!

I ordered the “El Hefe” hefeweißen and and “Fyre Fest” festbier. Atmosphere was amazing. Unfortunately, they did not taste like Deutschland biers. Es ist schlecht. The El Hefe was too hoppy, but the amount of malt and carbonation was right. Alcohol content was around normal for the Hefe. The Fyre Fest has way too much malt and the amount of carbonation was too much. Alcohol content was around normal for the festbier. Recommendation: Research what actual Hefeweißen and and Festbiers taste like and craft new ones because these are absolutely not what German beers taste like. Very disappointed.

Had a wonderful summer evening after attending a wedding. Listened to live music and tried 4 different beer. All delicious. My favorite? Cryptic captions! Cute town and nice people. Will come again if ever in the area.

The service was great as the staff were extremely friendly. The beer was good. I started with a reader of the Belgian stout which I thought was delicious, but I'm a Belgian and stout fan so best of both worlds. But rather than an almost 10% beer at 11 am I went with the Belgian blonde which just lacked a bit of Belgian complexity in flavor that I love. Maybe they fermented at too low of temp or didn't use the right yeast but something was a little off. Then I had their red ale which was just your average red ale. So, service is great!! Beer was good based on my limited experience. Would like to try some of their other beers and likely will be given their weekly Sunday yoga!

Heritage railroad
Strasburg Rail Road in Lancaster, PA offers a nostalgic experience with steam locomotive rides through Amish Country. Couples can enjoy romantic wine and cheese train rides, while families can opt for an escape room experience. The historic railway, operating since 1832, provides a glimpse into the golden age of rail travel with its well-maintained steam-powered locomotives and restored passenger cars.
It is a wonderful short ride through farmland. They make it entertaining and comfortable. Also, if you're physically disabled they make accommodations and get on and off comfortably and safely. I highly recommend it for an enjoyable short outing. They're are few nice little shops and across the road is the Pennsylvania railroad museum, and that's fantastic! You need a good 4-5 hours for that place.

Gorgeous platform setup! Gift shop was actually very affordable. I usually get sticker shock but was pleasantly surprised here! We had tickets for the first class parlor and it was very comfortable. Our server was wonderful. The scenery was great - farmland, farm animals, a small park, and other small attractions that the train goes through. 45 minutes is perfect duration especially with a child. We’re from honesdale — known for having the first locomotive train so we’ve been on several rides by us. But this one was so much nicer in every single way. Would recommend to anyone visiting Lancaster!

Strasburg Rail Road is a wonderful experience for families, students, and anyone who loves history and trains! The ride through the beautiful Amish countryside feels like stepping back in time — peaceful fields, horses, and old barns all along the way. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience both fun and educational. The vintage steam locomotive is kept in amazing condition, and you can feel the power and nostalgia with every whistle. The station area is also lovely, with gift shops, small museums, and food options nearby. Perfect for kids and groups — it’s not just a train ride, it’s a journey through history. Highly recommend visiting, especially in the fall when the scenery is at its best!
Hakan A — Google review
We attended the Cheese and Wine event and had a great time! The station looked magical with Christmas lights, wreaths, and trees creating a festive atmosphere. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the parlor car had a cozy, vintage feel. The train ride was shorter than expected, and since we went at night, there wasn’t much scenery to see—daytime rides would be better for that. The cheese and wine were delicious but the portions were on the small side. I do not beleive the ticket price reflected the quantity of the cheese and wine accurately. The gift shop was a pleasant surprise with lots of train-themed and holiday items. Overall, it was a fun and festive experience, perfect for the holiday season!

My friends and I are celebrating 50 yrs of friendship and I mentioned it to the conductor and next thing I know he come with balloons for us, we were so surprised. My friends and I truly enjoyed it.

We drove all the way from Cleveland, Ohio (6 hours!!) to ride this train and it was incredible. My 3 year old is obsessed with trains so instead of having a birthday party we decided to spend a weekend away to learn all about trains. The entire experience was incredible - meeting Mrs. Claus, dropping a letter to Santa in the hopes we will receive a letter back, the Christmas songs, the train itself was so nostalgic, Santa on board was great! We also really enjoyed the smaller train ride after riding the big train. All in all, we had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone. We arrived 45 min prior to getting on the train (like the email recommended) so we could spend some time to do all the fun Christmas activities. Also, shockingly enough, I found this train experience using ChatGPT. I'm a working mom of 3 with limited time so I took to ChatGPT to help plan our weekend away and this is what it recommended we do. So glad I trusted it!

If you're making a trip to Lancaster, adding this to your itinerary is a must. We were just there this past weekend and did the Santa Express car (they have different experiences and price points). Ours was just perfect, a little less than an hour, with beautiful scenic route, live entertainment with instruments and Carolers. Of course the Cherry on top was Santa making his way and stopping to speak with every child, give a small Candycane and ornament gift and take pictures with each family. In addition to all that, they have a lovely station with stores, eateries, and also outdoor entertainment. Super super cute! Will go back!

Sight & Sound Theatres, located in Strasburg, is a renowned Christian theater that stages inspirational musicals based on biblical narratives such as Moses, Jonah, and Noah. The theater is famous for its elaborate sets and costumes, as well as its use of live animals in the performances. It's one of the most popular attractions in Lancaster County and offers a unique biblically-oriented experience for visitors.
We went to see "Noah". Always a pleasure and a blessing!! We were a church group of eight and the play was amazing!!! Have been here multiple times over the years. Can't wait to go back for another. Some part of the play always brings tears to my eyes. I love how they bring such serious topics with a flare of entertaining that lures you along with intrigue. They never water down the gospel message of Jesus Christ!!! I just love this place and the work the casts do. The stage props always build to the point of having your Heading spinning to try to take in everything. It's not a sensory overload, but a gradual stirring of the imagination to the point of wowing you with exuberant excitement. I can't say enough good things about this place.

I cannot say enough about the actors, actresses and the stage hands that brought the events of Noah to life in front of our eyes! What a wonderful performance! This was my husband and my first experience and it will resonate with us and those that accompanied us for years to come!

**Highly Recommended for wholesome family entertainment!** - This is comparable to a Broadway show in NYC except these stories are from the BIBLE and great for the entire family. - (All my family members agree) - In addition to the main stage, they have stages on both sides of the auditorium, which gives it a "surround" or immersive effect. - The plays include musical numbers for their many scenes. - They include some one-liners for laughs.. ..which brings some light-heartedness. - They have LIVE ANIMALS in the plays also; horses, pigs, camels, sheep, goats, dogs, birds, (the kids love it..!) - It is located in Lancaster, Pa. (a great family-wholesome place to go after for lunch, sight-seeing and staying the night) - Each of these stories are heart-felt; and include a good main theme to take/ bring home with you and put into practice.. - Our Family has seen the plays: Jesus; Noah, Moses; David; Queen Esther, The Miracle of Christmas. - I would recommend a weekday, since the weekends usually get booked-up quickly. - I also suggest purchasing them online, or calling the reservation center, to make sure you get tickets. (get sold-out quickly) - They also have a nice gift shop and refreshment stands in the main lobby - (we had coffee, soft drinks, and Glazed Almonds (delicious if you are not allergic) - Cannot say enough good about this place and will continue to come back (even the kids are grown-up now) lol...

Sight and Sound is a wonderful experience for families to go to together, friends, or for your children to attend. This theater truly brings to life biblical stories with great detail and very Supreme acting. They are very punctual at starting and I recommend that anyone that can go will see it. The costay seem high, but it's very worth it and you can understand the cost to operate such a theater. I highly recommend it to anyone.

We saw Noah on a Wednesday afternoon. The place was sold out even on a weekday. The staff is helpful and friendly from the parking attendants who parked us close due to seniors with walking limitations to the will call and concessions and ushers. The show is spectacular with the actors, animatronics and live animals. It is also very emotional with a lovely surprise ending. You won’t be disappointed with this experience.

My family and I had heard great things about Sight and Sound, but we had never been to a show until recently. It did not disappoint! Noah was outstanding, and my 4 yr. old grandson loved it! What a great experience! Thank you!

I’ve been a few times. The theatrical performances I’ve seen have been Jonah, Daniel, Noah, and The Christmas Story. This is one trip that’s worth repeating. Buy tickets MONTHS ahead. If you want to go on a specific date then order as soon as the box office opens, shows get booked super fast. I travel with a bus group. Now that part has its ups ands down.

Had a wonderful experience at AMT. Sat in the mezzanine center and it was perfect! This was a big deal for me as I brought my mom to see her most favorite singer ever! Prices were very reasonable for water and drinks. Only cost $8 for 2 waters and a sweet tea. Will be returning again.

This is a great venue to view a concert or show. Parking is ample and free. The seats are newer and are comfortable. The stage is visible from all the seats. The sound is very good. We had a great time at the Wynonna Judd concert. It was a great concert. So great to see her locally. You can bring an unopened bottle of water with you into the auditorium. The chairs have cup holders. The bathrooms have many stalls and were nice and clean. There is a concession stand where you can buy non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Great venue!!!!

We loved our experience at this place! We watched the Celtic tap dancers and it was a wow! The facility was well taken care of and they had concierge leading the way and directing traffic to make the intermission go as smoothly as possible!

The Christmas show was very good! Only one complaint when I went to drop off my mom who has trouble walking long distances at the front door a older guy helping with parking yelled at us like 5 times not to do drop offs there and slammed the door on my mom. Very rude and if I had his name would have said something to a worker there. Other than that the ushers were very nice and concession stand workers and the show was 10/10🔥

The Amish Farm and House in Lancaster offers a unique opportunity to explore the traditional Amish way of life. Visitors can take guided tours of the historic house, farm, and schoolhouse, as well as observe animals on the property. The experience provides an up-close look at the daily routines and customs of the Amish community, allowing guests to gain insight into their simple living philosophy and traditional practices.
What a lovely experience this was! A beautiful tour of an Amish settlement in Philadelphia. Takes about 4 hours if you do it leisurely. They have multiple options. A guided bus tour takes you out to the countryside showing the country life. A house tour educates you about the daily life and traditions of the Amish people. And then there's a self guided tour along a 15-acre campus with lots of spots to discover. Lots of photography spots. You get to interact with farm animals as well. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. They even have a good gift store as well. It is a must visit and highly recommended spot if you are in Philadelphia.

The bus tour is highly recommended — it’s both informative and a great way to see how Amish people live. Along the way, there are opportunities to interact with Amish locals and purchase handmade goods, which adds to the experience. The farm itself is okay and interesting to walk through, offering a closer look at daily life and traditional tools, but the real highlight is definitely the tour.
Fan Z — Google review
Jack our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour! The house is so interesting and the farm was such a great surprise. The animals are well taken care of and there is a lot of history throughout the farm. So many things to look out, so make sure you make enough time to check everything out.
Traci V — Google review
My friends and I did the 90 min bus tour and then the house tour. I personally liked the house tour much better than the bus tour. The bus tour was nice to drive by all the Amish farms and we stopped at two different locations. But I felt it was more like here is where you can buy quilts and baked goods. The house tour was very informative to learn about the way of Amish life.
Sonja C — Google review
We travelled here for the day from Maryland as it looked good, however first impressions were not great. We expected it to be in the country side, a bit more isolated than it was - it's next to a massive target! So that threw us straight away. We only did the farm tour as we had a 3 year old in the group and the house tour was recommended 5+. It was nice, there were some informative signs about what the building were etc the farm animals looked well cared for. However it wasn't worth the 3 hour drive to come and see. Maybe worth it if you are in the area and maybe better if you did the house tour, but it think we'd have been better off going to a local farm to where we were staying in Maryland. Overall I wouldn't recommend traveling out your way to visit, especially just for the farm visit.

Me and my family decided to visit the Lancaster PA for the weekend, we really wanted to check the Amish way of living so we decided to come to this place and spend almost all day here, we took a shuttle to go inside this simple yet full of history places, me and my kids enjoyed the trolley ride we also went to their workshop and found a lot of unique and interesting items that they make manually, their labor is unbelievable, they live a simple life, their food is freshly made every meal, we are learning so much on their way of living. We saw their houses and school, my kids play on their playground and the tractors. I recommend that stop by in here to see what his amazing historical places when visiting Lancaster.

The bus tour was a waste of time honestly our driver /guild was a total tool. Now for the positive the house tour was amazing the woman was informative and brilliant. The grounds are amazing the animals and horses are great we loved the house tour but save your time and avoid the bus tour.
Nicole A — Google review
This place has great marketing for sure. It is similar to what you would see from a county fair and when you are walking around the farm your view is a commercial shopping center including Target and CiCis pizza..... disappointing The horse area has empty hay bins and hay shelter and there is trash all around the walkways including shredded trash where the grounds mowers runs over candy wrappers etc shredding them into pieces This was the worst experience of my entire vacation- the office was closed at end of my visit so no one to talk in person and no staff in sight during the visit other then the cashier who clearly did not want to be there . Over one week later still upset about this experience and fully believe it is a money grab tourist scam by the owner

Water & Amusement Parks
Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park, located in Lancaster County, is a 44-acre kingdom for children with a variety of attractions suitable for the whole family. The park offers over 30 rides including roller coasters, water slides, teacup rides, and carousels designed to cater to children of all ages. In addition to the thrilling rides, there are live entertainment shows and a water play area called Dukes Lagoon.
This is a great park for younger aged children. Really cool theme & the Castle Entrance is awesome. Most rides and stuff are for kids 3-10 years old. There are a few coasters but nothing crazy. They have a live performance a few times a day & this is a MUST. The water park is probably the one area they could improve on as it's WAY over crowded and smaller than i expected. It's nice nonetheless but there isn't a wave pool, lazy river, or even just a regular pool. There's two splash pad areas for toddlers and two taller watersides and that's really it.
Jay J — Google review
A quaint little amusement/water park in Lancaster, PA. There are a few rides for the older crowd, but I think this park is geared mainly to the younger kids. My boyfriend and I took his 9 year old daughter and we all had a great time. You could actually spend the entire day at the water park if you wanted to. We didn't get to see any of the shows as we were only in Lancaster for a few days. It's interesting to see this park right along the main roadway. I believe the park was open in 1963, so I do not know if that highway was there at that time. There is also an area where you can walk through and learn about dinosaurs.
Diane C — Google review
Our 6 and 4 year old grandchildren love it here. Their favorite rides are the Whip It, Old Fashioned Car, the small roller coaster, the Bee. They were disappointed this last visit because none of the dinosaurs in explore Island were working. A fun amusement park.

Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park 2249 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA 17602 So I’m not gonna lie I wasn’t sure what to think when my wife said let’s go to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA. Doesn’t really seem like there’s anything there as a quick roadtrip destination, but the fact that this amusement park is geared towards 12 and under and we needed some long overdue family fun we decided to hit the road. Once we arrived, the checking process was super easy because we bought our tickets online. People that were purchasing tickets on site were waiting forever in line 😩. Shout out to my wife for making the arrangements online. We got in and began riding all the kid friendly rides we could fit. First we went on a boat ride and had to identify different characters along the way. We rode the skylift across the park which was relaxing. Once we got off the skylift we went to a BBQ stand to eat and unfortunately that was the only bad part about the park. The burgers weren’t real ground beef, they didn’t have any of their sides like, and the smoked sausage wasn’t very good either. They also ran out of drinks so we had to get kiddie cups of water. After the dissster that was lunch we allowed the girls to ride a bunch of rides that parents couldn’t ride with them on. We watched a water show with an evil sorcerer, a king who’s princess daughter needed to be saved by the prince that was turned into a frog by the sorcerer because he wanted to marry the princess himself. We were able to finish off the park with a couple of family rides and rollercoasters as well as taking the girls to the gift shop and grabbing some souvenirs. If we ever go again we’ll stick to your traditional amusement park food like chicken tenders, pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, etc, but all in all it was a great experience and most importantly the girls had lots of fun!

My son is 7 years old and he is at the perfect age for this amusement park. Definitely worth checking out at least once. You can easily see the whole park in 1 day. We plan to come back during Christmas since they decorate the park all up & you can even book Christmas dinner with Santa & his Elves! Kinda a cool experience for your little ones before they get to old. (Insert tear) lol
Jessica J — Google review
Dutch wonderland sure showed me and my family a good time everything where age-appropriate, we try almost all the rides they could ride. The water area was great since i had my 2 year old and 5 year old even i had a blast. Staff was informative friendy if we could have found something they insured that we found it. We had gotten food while there a little pricey for chicken tenders and fries finish it off with a slushy variety of flavors. So much fun things to do loved it i rate 10/10

Really awesome place for a family fun day. SO many fun rides and things to do. Delicious treats and eats throughout the park - highly recommended.
William ( — Google review
I loved it here and cannot wait to return! I visited for the first time today with my husband (who hates rides) and my 2.5yr old toddler (who had yet to experience them). It is the perfect place to go as a family with a little one trying rides for the very first time. The rides are specifically designed with kiddos in mind, so the majority are low stakes and not very intense. I appreciated their easy system for riding based on height, and it was clearly posted at each ride. I also loved that I could walk into the rides with my son and get him situated and buckled before they began (of course workers double checked every time, but it gave me kiddo peace of mind to have me walk in with him). There were lots of food stalls and restaurants around, bathrooms in convenient locations (which included changing stations for littles), a first aid booth, strollers for rent (and plenty of places to put said strollers when on rides), games to play, and the entire park was very walkable. There were no crazy hills or long stretches of path where rides were not accessible. Wait times for rides were very short-- in fact, most of the time there was never a line. For the couple times we did wait, it was not longer than 10 minutes, and there was often shade or coverage from the sun. The water area was a blast and definitely helped us cool off. We went straight there to drop off our swim stuff (in a locker) which made it easy to get to when we were ready, and it kept us from toting extra stuff around all afternoon. The locker was for all day which was wonderful. There were so many things to do outside of rides. Shows, dives, pop up theater, Santa, a foam party, story time--it was a jam packed place. If you're looking for a place to take your littles for the day, look no further! Dutch Wonderland is the perfect place to go. Look for deals online for tickets. Kids under 3 are FREE!!!

Koziar's Christmas Village

Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
We recently visited Koziar’s Christmas Village with our family on a Saturday night. It’s a very popular spot and was quite crowded, but parking was well organized with the help of friendly volunteers who guided us both while parking and exiting. The entry fee is $18 per adult and $16 for kids above 2 years. The entire village was beautifully decorated, well maintained, and filled with festive music and cheerful vibes. There were plenty of photo opportunities with Christmas characters, a snack counter, and Santa for the kids. Restrooms were available at both the entrance and near the exit, and they were clean. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and parking was free. We definitely plan to visit again. The only thing to note is that if you’re visiting with a large family, the entry fees can add up — but it’s truly worth it for the magical Christmas atmosphere.

So many lights! Follow the paths. Bundle up. Hot chocolate was great. A little indoor space to look around and warm up. Truly impressive to take in all the lights. Traffic to get into the parking lot is intense worse than you imagine. Try to book a time just at dusk so less cars as more people come later then add at least an hour to your travel time to get into the parking area. My kid was newly potty trained and peed himself in his carseat because we were waiting so long, so maybe cut off fluids to the potty trained littles in your cars and even adults too. Other than the potty training issue and lots of traffic, it was beautiful for all ages.
Laura G — Google review
It had a nice smooth path to walk all around the lights with different themed areas. There were a few things that needed updated, but overall a child would love it. The only issue I had is.There were no handicapped toilets, you could get a wheelchair into inside the area. There were porta-potties outside that were handicapped, but you would have to leave the villiage area to use them.
Julia R — Google review
You feel the christmas spirit and its a nice display and walk around the park. The annoying part is that you have to follow a path and cant really take any shortcuts so you can get to the food or restrooms until the end of the park. We brought our 2 kids and they where hungry when arriving. We thought we could by food, so it became a matter of rushing through the park, we had some snacks with us that helped a little. Could be nice with access to food from the entrance and not wait until exit The food is super disappointing, heated junkfood, its cheap but not worth it. The sign said hot chocolate. Was really looking forward to it, just to be disappointed it was hot cocoa from a machine, so powder cocoa. I recommend eating before going there.

Lots of lights and cute displays to see. It was super packed on Saturday, but the staff did a great job directing traffic to park. There were too many people so we didn't go inside the gift shop or get food. Lines at all the good photo ops. Definitely recommend coming with cash, the line is shorter than using credit.

Nice nostalgic walk through the Christmas Village. Some displays showing their age, but kind of expected. Some displays were unlit, but that's the frustrating part of Christmas displays -hard to keep up. Lol All in all, it was fun, watching the excitement of the little ones, and walking down memory lane.

When i was driving from DC to NYC on a state rd I found this place and it attracted me when I saw the sign board saying miniature village. It was an amazing experience to see such a wonderful art. It costs you $8 per person and its totally worth if you wanna see the ancient culture and technologies in little space. Vintage trains, cars etc. Its worth visiting.

This place was pretty amazing, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be since the place is so small but the little village was beautiful! This is a great place to take kids who love trains. I especially enjoyed the night view and music. My kids loved the trains and how they could control the trains or trolley with a push of a button, they did not want to leave. I love how detailed it was and the beautiful little pond with the fish, will definitely bring the kids back again.

This place is monstrous fun. Picture your favorite neighbor’s train table (or your own) spread out over 7500 SF. I visited this place when I was a kid, and it’s just as much fun as an adult. The displays are lovingly maintained and there are numerous vignettes you can get lost in. There’s even an airport! Make sure you’re there long enough for day to turn into night - I think it’s about every half hour or so. And walk around the whole place, or you miss a lot.

We have always wanted to stop and visit so we finally made the time to do so. The kids loved it. It is an awesome display. If you visit you have to wait to see when they change the display to night time it was amazing and my favorite part.

AMAZING, is the only word for this treasure! My wife and I stopped here with our kids on our way home from Hershey Park. This huge space is packed with different trains, buildings, homes, cars, trucks, boats, farms, mountains, waterfalls, ponds with live fish, running rivers, and more. The scene is based on how things looked in the middle 1900s and depicts AMAZING details. We spent and hour and a half walking around, reading interesting facts, pressing buttons to make the trains, small figures (people/animals), trolleys and more move, lights go on and off in beautifully designed homes & buildings, music playing, etc. I can't say enough about this place. Simply put, AMAZING!

My family and I went here to fill time before going to another local holiday tradition. I'm glad we did. The detail in these models is incredible. The pageant they put on with the Christmas music was awesome. I think we found a new tradition.

I love Miniatures and the work that goes into creating villages with them. This work of love is very detailed and Huge. There are buttons to push for some of the moving exhibits and placard to explain the inspiration for the different areas of the village. If I'm in the area again, I will go back.

Nestled in the tranquil woodlands of northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Wolf Sanctuary of PA is a family-owned refuge offering guided tours and special events like Full Moon nights. Spanning over 80 acres, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe wolves and wolf-dogs in their natural habitat while serving as an educational center for wildlife conservation. Visitors can sign up for guided tours to learn more about these majestic creatures and enjoy the serene surroundings.
The guided tour was a fantastic experience. Our guide Kristen was extremely knowledgeable not only about wolves in general but also the back story of each individual wolf. This is a forever home for these wolves and most definitely not a zoo.

We went for our dad's 75th birthday on a full moon night. I would not recommend taking your older loved ones here. Hilly, gravel trails are what you walk on. We loved the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers. We hated that more tickets were sold than expected (which we know helps the wolves) and we didn't get the small group tour to learn. The wolves are majestic and their howling beautiful. We did not get to see the entire sanctuary because there was not enough volunteers, that made the trails clogged with too many people. We took chairs and carried them. That sucked. You DO NOT NEED CHAIRS. There are benches and a fire pit by the gift store at the end of everything. My suggestion: bypass the moon nights and go when you can score a small group tour of the ENTIRE facility. We were thankful for all the knowledge the pony-tailed volunteer dropped on our large group of about 100 people. We appreciated the no kids under 16 rule for the moon night's too. There's such a rich, wonderful history to this place and we wanted to hear all of it. 5 stars for the wolves. 5 stars for the volunteers. 1 star for over selling tickets. Bottom line: go for a day time visit with a small group.

We actually had the pleasure of staying in one of 3 cottage's on the property. We stayed in the Paymaster's Offfice. It was an adorable cozy place that had a gas fireplace, a large air jet soaking tub, kitchenette that included a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, cook top with two burners, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Breakfast is included with your stay and was delivered to the cottage by Maggie. Also included is a tour of the wolves. In the early morning hours, we had the pleasure of hearing a symphony of wolves. What a beautiful way to wake up. Everyone should experience it at least once. They take great care for these beautiful creatures. Our tour guide Michelle was very nice and knowledgeable about every wolf on the property. They all have a story to be told. I highly recommend going in the fall when the wolves are more active due to the cooler weather.

I loved my visit to the Wolf sanctuary. The volunteer was awesome and he worked there for over 20 years volunteering, extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I will certainly be going back when all the leaves are down so you can have complete full visual of the wolves. The grounds are pristine and well kept. Can you tell I loved it there?

This is a really interesting place to visit. I would recommend it! It is an experience you will remember for a long time. You get to see them up close and personal. How they interact with each other and the guide does a great job explaining anything you want to know about them. You will find it educational and entertaining with guided public and private tours. Book ahead when they have limited availability. They also have a gift shop if you want a souvenir.

We had a private tour with Denny; he was such a knowledgeable tour guide and passionate about the sanctuary. We got to see the beautiful wolves before their feedings, so they were active and eager to be fed. Hearing the wolves howling was amazing! In the 2 hours we really got to know most of the 55 wolves the sanctuary cares for. Denny was amazing and made this experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this experience!

Absolutely beautiful location! I've driven by a few times in the past and I wasn't sure if they were open. This past weekend. I decided to go ahead and give them a call and see if they were open, lo and behold, they are so my family and I went in for a tasting and to check it out. I'm so glad that we did the location. Like I said is absolutely beautiful. There's plenty of parking, the barkeep was awesome and super friendly. I'm sorry I don't remember your name but you're very helpful and very knowledgeable. She definitely didn't stir us around when she recommended the root beer slushie. So delicious! We ended up purchasing a few bottles of wine to bring back to Ohio for friends and family to enjoy. I can't wait to go back! Definitely want to try to visit when they have their wood fire pizza going and live music. I highly recommend their mango wine. It is so good, so refreshing and does not have that artificial mango flavor to it. I can't wait to share it with my friends and family. Check this place out. You will not be sorry

This place offers a wide variety of fruity wines, and the service is excellent. The views are amazing, and the music is great. If you prefer typical reds and dryers, you might not find what you’re looking for. There are hard soda and ciders so many selections, it’s a fun place with a beautiful landscape. The ambiance is really beautiful.

Great afternoon motorcycle destination - ride along the river, grab something cold, enjoy the peaceful view. I prefer dry wines but their Blueberry is very refreshing - we keep it stocked for summer on our home deck, too. Brick oven pizza is fun and their music offers a variety/mix.

Beautiful, peaceful scenery. I recommended they have a nonalcoholic wine or other nonalcoholic options because there's usually a DD and in my case I'm pregnant but still wanted to enjoy some fun drinks with friends

Beautiful winery with a great selection of wines. Been to this winery on two different occasions, and was satisfied both times. A flight of wine costed about $15 and a wine slushy was about $8. Server was kind and helpful. On my second visit there, there was a live band that was very good. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating, so finding a place to relax was not an issue. Will be returning!

Very beautiful place inside and out. Driveway was not finished so very rough on a motorcycle but doable. Very friendly people and my friend said the wine was amazing. We actually sat out and relaxed watching the river. They had an old style brick oven for pizza I seen kids running and playing. I'd say this place is great for two or the family.

Nice place and venue! We went here for a local market / festival, and it was a nice experience. The area is beautiful with some good views, and the wine is very good. This place looks like a nice place for a wedding, and events in general. The only complaint is that the road to get there is not paved. But otherwise, it's a nice place overall!
David N — Google review
Came for some cool white wine on this hot afternoon and the Pinot Grigio did not disappoint. It is so peaceful out at this winery and the service is excellent. The owner even came to check on us and was very nice. The best part about sitting outside enjoying the wine here is watching all the butterflies, moths, and beneficial bugs thriving. I saw a type of butterfly that I have never seen before. This is why it is so important to keep places like this open. It's clear that they allow their lawn to benefit our local ecosystem that so desperately needs more areas where it can thrive.

Event venue
Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania, Mount Hope Estate & Winery is a captivating destination that beautifully marries history with the art of winemaking. This 19th-century mansion serves as a vibrant hub for wine enthusiasts, featuring a delightful wine shop and tasting room where visitors can sample over 20 varieties of their handcrafted wines, alongside beer and cider options at select locations. Beyond its impressive beverage offerings, Mount Hope is renowned for hosting various festivals throughout the year, including the beloved Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
Amazing! You don't need to buy tickets if you're just going to the winery and it is so worth it. $5 for 5 tastings and you get to keep the glass. Any tastings are $1 and you can go through the whole menu. Definitely worth it and very cute spot. There's place to sit while tasting though, keep that in mind!

The place has a lot to offer with plenty of activities for both adults and kids. The food is good, though definitely on the pricey side. Sundays get really crowded, so expect a lot of people. Overall, a fun spot but a bit expensive.

My first time at the fair and what an experience!!!! So much to do there and many cool lil gift shops and stands. Parking was super easy also. We can't wait til next year to visit again!!

Went to the PA Renn Faire and as always....it was amazing!!! The costumes, the food, the ale!!! Parking was a breeze and there was virtually no wait. Scotch eggs y'all!!! Also the Peach Vanilla Cider. That was from another planet!

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is always a great time! The entertainment is usually great, the food is always excellent, and just the overall environment is fun and enjoyable. It is a rain or shine event so you better be prepared because they don't stop no matter what the weather does. Yes it's harder to enjoy when it's raining, but as long as it is warm enough just suck it up and enjoy yourself! The Jousting is always awesome, the idea of living the medieval life speaks to my soul LOL.

The grounds were exciting and diverse. The characters were talented, well dressed, and extremely entertaining. Though, during the final Pub Sing on the last day of the season, one of the main characters, King James of Scotland, kissed his right hand man. I don't care what each person's personal deviant affiliation is, that's between them, their partner, and God. What bothers me is when they put their preferences on display on the main stage without giving the audience a choice as to whether or not to watch. There are many children in the audience and mine were left with questions I was not prepared to answer during a fun family outing. The last time I went to the PA RenFaire there was no signs of sexual preferences or innuendo on display for the main story line events. We steered clean of all the shows that were marked Not Suitable For Children.

The rennfaires are always so much fun... expensive, but fun... haven't really found any food that I'd order again. I need to plan to stop somewhere for breakfast beforehand next time.

We go here for the Renaissance Faire and it's a hoot! Semi permanent structures add to the setting as you step into a fantasy world based on ye olde England. Some merchants, including food, only take cash.

What a wonderful experience! You can pet the baby cows in the back. The farm store has incredible ice cream as well as locally sourced and locally made goods. Make sure to try their flavor of the month ice cream! I absolutely recommend a visit here. I look forward to coming back at another time.

I've been going here since I was a kid and it's always a joy! I got to bring my son here for the first time and it is bringing back wonderful memories. The staff was nice and there are fun activities to do like the corner maze, petting cows and the place your face in the cardboard cutout photo. We can't wait to come back!

Delicious homemade ice cream and other treats. Free activities. Baby cows that you can pet. View cow milking and corn maze. Lots of great photo opportunities 😃 I have been going there since I was little and now I take my kiddos. Great place to spend an hour or so. Local delicious milk.

This farm has good ice cream and milk. It is a small farm that welcomes groups of kids and pets. There is no fee to visit.

Great choice of ice cream flavors in a cone or dish.. order inside and pay, then pick up outside or pick out of the freezer by dish.. my personal favorite is cheesecake! You can also choose items such as baked goods, soda pop in bottles, and some simple olde tyme deli candies. You can visit the baby cows... you can pet them but be careful, they like to nibble and bite your clothes LOL then swing down to the milking area and say hi to the full grown mammas and give them a nice head rub!
Jennifer R — Google review
Very nice place and a good selection of foods, especially ice cream. Our daughter enjoyed seeing the calves.
Scott H — Google review
We had such a great time petting all of the calves. The ice cream was amazing and there were so many unique flavors. Perfect for kids or people with special needs. Don't wear your best clothes as your hands will get dirty petting the calves. They also had a nice selection of jams, honey and other fun items to purchase.

My kids, as well as myself love coming here they buy far have the best ice cream with lots of different favorites to choose from and the kids always love seeing and petting the cows They have a little store inside that you can buy milk, candies, and lots of other goodies. WellSpan Park is a 5,200-seat baseball stadium that opened in 2007 and serves as the home of the York Revolution minor league team. Visitors praise the variety of food available, with particular mention of the delicious funnel cake. However, some find parking to be inconvenient due to distance and cost. The park is known for its clean facilities, friendly staff, and reasonable prices for both tickets and concessions.
Always have a great time at the York Revolution’s games. It’s a nice outing for the family and doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg to watch a good game.

Conewago Recreation Trail

Outdoor Activities
The Conewago Recreation Trail, a 5-mile former rail line, offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, running, cycling, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing. It connects with the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail to form a 19-mile network. The trail features shaded areas along the Conewago Creek and is suitable for easy recreation. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy meadows, trees, and creeks while birdwatching or horseback riding.
A beautiful 5 mile rail trail that is level, well-graded, and follows along the Conewago Creek. It is adjacent to some farmland, but primarily runs through wooded areas that occasionally offer glimpses of the Conewago Creek. The trail is a calm and beautiful walk that is one of the best spots in this part of the county to enjoy nature.
Rainer B — Google review
Great trail! Very well maintained and lots of shady portions! Wide enough for walkers, runners, and bicycles!
Earl D — Google review
stay away from this horribly maintained county rail trail. The pathway consist of very sharp 1 inch size stones that are guaranteed to rattle your dentures loose in your mouth. I do not know how joggers can run on this or mother’s push baby strollers. My recommendation is to stay on the Lebanon Valley side of the trail and you will have a much more pleasant experience. Lancaster County should be ashamed of themselves for the condition of this trail.
Steve C — Google review
We had a lovely hike along the trail. We saw someone painting the landscape, lots of birds, and someone along the trail told me when I was stopped there was a white wolf in the direction I was heading. We didn’t see anything once down there. My dog wanted to roam on the big open field so bad but it is private property and for archery.
Tia T — Google review
This is an awesome trail to walk especially for beginners. It's a total of 5 miles one way so it is adaptable for any fitness level. It is nice and wide and flat with nice scenery of farmland and corn fields. Because it borders the Conewago creek frequently you get to see a great waterfall about a mile in. The only negative thing that I have to say is that there are no restroom facilities but other than that I am definitely going back again with my mountain bike.
Denise W — Google review
Starting up the Conewago trail along the beginning, I saw you had a bicycle repair station and air pump. It was very impressive. Also the fall makes the trail absolutely beautiful.
Nick M — Google review
Too much of the trail has a large Stone gravel which makes for a Bumpy uncomfortable ride, but other than that the trail It's fine. As do most trails, It me Andrews through farmland and wooded areas which gives a good balance of shade and sun. Just be mindful of those stones embedded in the trail, OUCH!
Bluseman — Google review
Nice walking/biking/horseback riding trail. Ample parking and a very well maintained path. At the end of the trail it connects with the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail

Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania, Codorus State Park spans an impressive 3,490 acres and is a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts. At its center lies Lake Marburg, perfect for fishing and boating adventures. The park features numerous boat launches along the lake's picturesque peninsulas, making it easy to set sail or even rent a boat if you don’t have your own. For those who prefer land-based activities, there are ample hiking trails and designated hunting areas to explore.
Very nice state park to spend the week camping. Bath houses were clean and nice with 3 toilets and 2 shower stalls. They also have water fill station which was nice. We stayed in loop D spot 164 that did not have water hook up. Our spot was on more of a hill than it looks in the website photos so couldn't really use the picnic table without the feeling of sliding down the hill. The campground spots are pretty tight to back into. We had to drive up into the lot across from us just to get backed in, it's a good thing no other vehicle or camper were already parked there. We chose this location because it was only 30 min to Gettysburg and 1 hour to Lancaster so it was ideal for our trip. The pool was large and looked nice but we missed going the day we wanted to because it closed at 7pm and we spent to much time in Gettysburg so no feedback other than it looking nice. We drove around the lake the last night to catch the sunset from the marina side and it was so beautiful. Great spot to hike and ride bikes as well. Overall a great visit and great prices.
Felicia L — Google review
The campground is well maintained. The sites for RVs were a little close together. If you like tent only sites there a few closer to the water that had more privacy. Restroom facilities were updated and clean. Small store on site for ice/wood/necessities. The noise from the nearby road and train tracks can be a little distracting if you plan to sleep in.
Brendan O — Google review
Beautiful and spacious campsites with easy access to the restroom facilities, the lake, store, playground, and many other amenities. Most of the roadways are paved offering easy access. The hosts, Mike and Charity were absolutely awesome! The made us feel like old friends visiting. We returned home today and preparing to book our next visit.

I recently visited Codorus State Park, and I had a fantastic experience! Here are some highlights: - Clean Bathrooms: One of the first things I noticed was how well-maintained the bathrooms are. It's always a relief to find clean facilities when enjoying the great outdoors. - Private Camping Sites: The camping sites offer a good amount of privacy, allowing for a more relaxing experience. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. - Proximity to Water: The park is conveniently located close to water, making it perfect for fishing, kayaking, or simply enjoying the scenic views. The sound of water nearby added to the overall tranquility of the park. Overall, Codorus State Park is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to enjoy nature, whether for a day visit or an extended camping trip. I highly recommend it!

I've been coming to the pool and marina area since I was a kid. It brings me nostalgia. I love how the pool and locker rooms are the exact same as they were 30+ years ago. Surprised how there's not many Hanover locals out here. This is Hanover's best attraction.
Tony P — Google review
I visit the lake on a regular basis. It's one of my favorite places to relax. It's disheartening to see the water levels fall during this time of year, especially since the lake in motion is always a beautiful sight.

Only was there for a brief visit but enjoyed my time. Well maintained trails, nice lake, didnt bring my fishing stuff but looks promising. There was a stand of american chestnuts along the trail i hiked that was a pleasant surprise.

Our family attended the zebra, ostrich, camel and horse races! We all had a wonderful time. The facility was clean and well staffed. We ventured into the casino after the races and cooled off playing some hot new slots. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will plan to come back again!

I have been here a few times and was recently there for the exotic races they do every year. Seeing the camels and ostriches race was a pretty cool experience, but was very drawn out. Other then that it is a pretty standard casino. The rewards program is kinda subpar in my opinion. You really do not benefit unless you have a huge bankroll for the average person.
