Peaceful place with no rush. Can be visited any time.

It is said that this open air walled tomb was constructed as per Aurangzeb' wish to be buried in the courtyard of the shrine of the Sufi saint Shaikh Zain-ud-din Shirazi. It is a simple tomb built has per his wish. It was only later that the British surrounded the tomb with marble screen. Today the tomb stands in this little known suburb of Aurangabad (Ch. Sambhaji Nagar) connected to the highway - that leads to Ellora- by a road that is hardly drivable. Once inside through the narrow passage, one can remove their footware and enter the place from where the tomb is visible. It's unlike the other Mughal era tombs that stand in magnificence. Bibi ka maqbara where Aurangzeb' wife was buried is one such example. This tomb in Khuldabad also is the final resting place of Aurangzeb' son and daughter in law. There is no entry ticket (I don't think this is ASI administered monument) and people of all faiths can step inside. There is no separate parking area and the vehicles are usually parked on the street leading to the tomb.

According to folklore, in ancient times the Khuldabad was known as Bhadravati, and the ruler was a noble king named Bhadrasena, who was an ardent devotee of Rama and used to sing songs in His praise. One day Hanumanji descended in the place, listening to the devotional songs sung in praise of Rama. He was mesmerized and, without his knowledge, took a reclining posture called 'Bhava-samadhi' (Bhavava samadhi is a yogic posture). King Bhadrasen, when he had finished his song, was astonished to find Hanuman in Samadhi before him. He requested Hanuman to reside there forever and bless his and Lord Rama's devotees.

One of the 12 jyotirlingas of lord Shiva. Really crowded on weekends, better to visit early to have a peaceful darshan. Male devotees need to remove their upper clothes before entering the temple. The security can be improved a bit. Mobiles are allowed but videography and photography are prohibited. I recommend not to fall for locals offering to help in the darshan queue. They just take you and leave before the temple entrance which is unofficially done. Men are allowed to go in and touch the lingam but women must stay behind the barricade positioned and take the blessings and offer prayers.

I had a very devotional and peaceful experience at Shri Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. The atmosphere was filled with divine energy, and getting Sparsh Darshan before 6 AM made it even more special and spiritual. The Kailasa Temple at Ellora Caves is a stunning, singular attraction, famous for being entirely carved from a single rock of the mountain. However, one small disappointment is that the tourism department should make greater efforts to preserve the original cave paintings. The colors, though still visible, are fading slowly with time. These murals are a priceless part of India’s cultural heritage and deserve careful restoration to maintain their charm for future generations. If you have to choose between visiting just one — visit Ajanta Caves. They are truly mesmerizing, spiritually uplifting, and showcase the artistic brilliance of ancient India like no other place.

The site is well-maintained, though the climb can be a bit steep, so wearing comfortable shoes is a must. When we were here, after we crossed a cave there were some rocks falling from above, fortunately nobody was severely injured. Also, the view from the top overlooking the Waghora River is breathtaking. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates history, art, or spirituality. Truly one of India’s greatest heritage treasures! This place is of historical/ archeological relevance and it is a World Heritage Site. No wonder Aurangabad is the tourism capital of Maharashtra! Definitely worth a visit with your family.

Magnificent historical treasure. Must be on bucket list of all indians. One can finish the visit easily in a day from Aurangabad. There are two ways of reaching caves. One is beautiful mildly challenging trek of appx 1.5 km from Ajanta View point. One can park the car and take the trek to and fro to caves, this trek reaches directly at cave no. 8. Another option is the main entry 22 km more from this Ajanta View point, park own vehicle and take shuttle bus which will take you to caves. Inside caves, walk of 1-2 km with steps at many places is involved. At many caves, shoes are not allowed. Drinking water and toilets are available inside premises. Carry umbrella if you don't like the sun. The caves are worth your time and effort and it may take 2-3 hours to visit entire area.

Ther is small vehicle which can take you to top of the hill. Very large and beutiful place. Not crowded. Situated outside the city. Public transport is not great can face problem while returning to main city.

It is great place to visit. Place is located approx. 8 km from jalgaon main city on the way to Pachora. Place is located on hills it also called as Jain Hills. Greatly maintained area. Area has guest rooms, kitchen halls, helipad, Goshala and many many more facilities. Cleanliness is maintained. Staff is helpful. Ample space for parking. You will feel calm amidst nature. Great Gandhi museum is gem. It will take 2 to 3 hours to cover the entire museum. One must visit the place.

Worst management. Not worth ₹200 per person. Surrounding garden is good, but the museum is suffocating and poorly managed. I, my wife, and my baby had to leave the museum tour midway because my baby was crying from the heat and suffocation. Inside was unbearably hot, yet staff kept denying any issue and gave excuses like "electricity went away." With such big infrastructure and high charges, they should have proper backup systems.

Witnessed the traditional lighting of oil lamps at Shree Harsiddhi Mata Temple in Ujjain. At the entrance of the temple are two large lamp towers with hundreds of lamps. At around 6:30 pm every evening these lamps are lit by temple staff. They climb up the oily lamp tower and all these lamps are lit within around 3 minutes. Must be some sort of a record. The place is next to Ujjain Mahakaal temple and gets crowded around 30 minutes before the start of the event, as it is very popular among tourist who visit Ujain. Around 1 minute 20 seconds into the video, you will notice how fast the staff is lighting up the oil lamps. Remember the temple itself is many centuries old and its history is linked to Emperor Vikramaditya. The oil tower is itself slippery because of all the oil.

Brathari Cave is a nice place to visit if you enjoy history and spirituality. The atmosphere is peaceful, but the cave is not very well maintained and facilities are limited. It’s good for a short visit, but not something that stands out as a must-see.

Caves are ok. They are very small. Do not rush into the caves when lot of people are there. It get a bit suffocating when too many people. Be patient and wait for your turn. The more calm and composed you are the more fun you will have.

I visited this mandir on 23rd of june. At that time there is renovation work is going on. I visited this place while i was going to mahakaleshwar jyotirlinga. As per pundit this is the centre of India and this is the birth place of Mangal dev who is also known as mangla garah or mars planet. Mangal dosh can be removed by worshipping here. From main gat to front of the mandir is clean, but when you came from other side to front there is rocks and palette which can poke or hurt your foot. In mandir ther is 4 or 5 place of worship or say pundits are sitting, in which shiva linga, Mangal bhagwan, Hanuman bhagwan etc. Can be worshipped and on all places there is pandit who is mantra chanting while you go there. Outside it there is shops of parshad and flowers and other things. They have settings with auto drivers and auto drivers took you to them as they got there commissions for it. And they are selling things in basket set and they are not giving you one or 2 thing by saying no in this mandir all these things required. Aside of it there is river.

It's a very good place to get blessings and make sure to visit nearby places like.. Sandipani Ashram and vishnu sagar. Temple management and Ujjain development authority should focus on cleaning the water which is getting bad day by day as cleaning process is not to be seen but people are dumping pooja leftovers there..

Initially I don't believe in traditional rituals, but later in life I realize the importance of such things. I got to know about this website during a google-search. It is a very informative website. Later, we contacted Pandit Vijay Bharti Ji, to discuss about the Kundli matching and Mangal Dosh Shanti Pujan. He also performed the Puja for us, and now we realize the effects of such pooja. Best mahadev temple in bundi “Beautiful Lake in the heart of Bundi” A lake in the heart of Bundi city that adds to the beauty of the landscape when viewed from Taragarh Fort. The lake is dedicated to Lord Varuna (Hindu Water God). There is a temple in the middle of the lake that was half submerged when we visited. We had a mesmerising view of the lake from the Fort. Near the lake, there is also a palace where the kings of Bundi shifted from the main palace after 1947 when Indian got free (Probably, it was difficult to maintain such a big palace in the Fort with all the powers to collect and raise revenue were gone so the kings decided to shift to a smaller palace). Nawal Sagar is surely a gem in the beauty of Bundi and a treat to your eyes.

Bad experience was we had to go there 3 time because of rain and confusion also , we went there especially for chambal safari but we didn't find any ticket counter & then we got to know we have to pre-book it through online , then we did call to that agency for booking but they refused saying it's late now & saying you have to book earlier . so the timing was at 5 pm so we need to book tickets earlier at 3pm or u can also book in evening for tomorrow morning for 5 am safari & the charges are 2000 per person if you are four person and charges are 1800 per person if you are group of count 6.

An 18th century stepwell in the middle of a boisterous marketplace in Bundi. Just another ill-maintained historical landmark bearing the testimony of govt. negligence. Despite having an entry ticket and covering up the underground stepwell, they still can't prevent the entry of pigeons littering and ruining sanity of the place. One of the 3 must-visits in Bundi..

The great fort of Bundi known as Taragarh Fort is lying in a rather dilapated condition today. Approx 1/4th part has been restored and made open to public. The fort walls encircle the entire hill. If restored, it can be a great walk along the high walls of the fort. Ticket price for Indian is 100 INR. There is parking in front of the fort. From the ticket counter and through the main gate, it is a steep wall of 200 meters to the main Hathi Pol gate. As only a limited part of the fort is open, you need to follow a certain route to explore the fort, manned by guards. The view of Bundi town from the fort is beautiful. Badal Mahal is the most beautiful section where you can enjoy the remnants of original Rajputana paintings. Lot of gates installed to ensure no one wanders off in No entry sections. Hope ASI and GoI thinks to restore this fort, symbol of valour of the Hadouti kingdom.

Best Views come from Shakambari Mata Mandir. One of My personal Fav. Place. It is a place to visit During Monsoon. If you love to drive, then don’t go in Monsoon, as then You can drive over the Lake and drift too, as it an big open space out there. And also you can walk on it and the Vibes will on another Level. 😍
