As the name says cool place to stop off and have a look around and use the loo. Lots of T-shirts and gifts and a visitor book to sign. Really friendly chatty lady. Big route 66 sign on floor outside.

Friendly staff, rock building with the prettiest view, happy these historic places are being cared for. Stop in and look around at this unique place.

Cool Springs is worth the drive!! The trip here makes you take your time on the historic Route 66. It transports you!! The views are spectacular! The shop sits atop the edge of a ravine that overlooks a mountain scape that takes your breath away. The shop is everything! The perfect route 66 stop. It has all the necessities and all the tourist needs and wants. Plus, unique gifts, crystals, rocks, and super cool scrap metal art. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet the owners' sweet kitties, Junior was super cuddly and loved on us the whole time we were there. Again, it is worth the stop. It has a place in my heart forever. You will lose cell service until after you pass through Oatman (the next stop that you can not miss after cool Springs).
Mama D — Google review
Big thanks to Geneva. Her heads up about the road ahead likely saved me from the giant patch of gravel, and her mention of the hill above the 90° kickback had breath taking views. Stop in and take a cool drink and get the heads up!

A great places to stop and it's famous from the movies. Inside is a ton of souvenirs everything you would want. If your looking for a route 66 pins stop here.

Our family is on vacation driving Route 66. We stopped along the way and found the original "Raditor Springs" with Mater, Lighting McQueen, etc. If your child lives the Cars movie series they will live this little stop! Must 👀! We ❤️ it!

I brought friends that were visiting from out-of-state they all left with a bag full of goodies and we're very excited with the stop....
Deb R — Google review
This is a Great stop!! The gentleman working there was very knowledgeable about the area history and the gas station history. This is the actual location of Radiator Springs in the movie cars, so your kids will enjoy it too. There are pictures on the wall of the history. If you like rocks, thus is an awesome place to see and buy some amazing rocks and crystals. If you want some souvenirs, they have everything you could possibly want. There are some awesome mugs, jewelry, t-shirts and of course sticks & magnets! Check them out, you wont be disappointed!

I stayed at the ranch with my wife and 6 year old son for just one night. We arrived around 6 and Denver met us right away to show the guest house. Afterward he invited us to see the ostriches. They were very cool and our son loved the experience. We enjoyed the stars while sitting around the fire pit and slept very well. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a great full house and unique experience. Our son said he missed George, the largest ostrich, later the next day. :-) Great experience for sure.
Boyd B — Google review
Family stayed one night but you could use this as your home base for a 4-5 night stay easy. Close enough to Lake Meade (25 min), Hoover Dam (35 min), Grand Canyon Skywalk. Lots of trail options too. Denver was helpful without being overbearing. Cabin had full kitchen, two full baths, two bedrooms, dining room with couch, laundry. All functional and very nice (not luxurious). Ostriches were cool, and we really enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Great area for stargazing. Check-in was 1-9 PM, Check-out was 10 AM firm.
Charlie W — Google review
Most unique experience! We loved the spacious lodge with all the comforts of home. The ostrich ranch was fun to see, as well. Great host, very friendly and welcoming.

I've never stayed here personally.. but it seems nice enough for out of town to stay in cabins, sign up online because I've never seen the owner around, I live a street away from those place and the Ostridges are huge and can be visited by the public from sun up to sun down
Heather W — Google review
Very nice, Denver is an excellent host, property is remote, ostriches are interesting to watch.

Art Museums
The Mohave Museum of History and Arts is a nonprofit institution dedicated to preserving the rich history and culture of Northwestern Arizona. Founded in 1961, it features exhibits on the indigenous tribes of the region, including the Chemehuevi, Havasupai, Hualapai, Mohave, and Paiute. The museum showcases a wide range of artifacts and displays that detail the area's history from prehistoric times to the present day.
$10 per adult (free kids) to go into this Museum, along with the Route 66 Museum and the Bonelli House. My 5-year-old daughter and I enjoyed it! There's exhibits about Native Americans, gems, mining, desert animals, etc. Pretty much anything in history that happened in that area. My daughters' favorite part was the hands-on table, where you could use different types of antique phones! Definitely a worthwhile visit, especially because your ticket gets you into other places as well. The ladies at the front desk were super nice and explained that I could keep the receipt and even use it another day, or give it to someone else to use. Later my husband arrived, and they just let him in for free! We made sure to buy something at the gift shop to support them. They had little bags for $6.50 that you could fill with gems of your choice.
Melinda M — Google review
Lovely small museum. Lots of great artifacts, local rocks, and informative exhibits. Gift shop had good selection and prices. Friendly staff helped us in gift shop.
Megan B — Google review
A single pass got our whole family in and the pass also allows entrance to the bonelli house and the route 66 museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We walked through the hall of presidents and first ladies. My favorite area was the local history of the native Americans and the areas mining and ranching. They have a very nice mineral exhibit and many other items of the area's history. My family also enjoyed being able to play a real working organ. The gift shop is well stocked and items are decently priced. They also have an exploration area when children and adults can examine items more closely. It was a very nice museum and my family truly enjoyed it.
Fidele M — Google review
This place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in Kingman. It’s full of interesting history—from Route 66 to the stories of the indigenous people who lived in the area. There’s a lot to see, and it’s all really well put together. What makes it even better is the price. For just $20, you get access to all three museums—the Mohave Museum, the Historic Route 66 Museum, and the Bonelli House. That’s a great deal, and honestly, you won’t find a better bang for your buck. If you're in town, make sure to stop by. You won’t regret it.
Mike M — Google review
We visited the Mohave Museum of History and Arts during an over night while passing through, May, 2023. We didn't expect the museum to be a nice as it turned out to be. We liked the Arizona Route 66 Museum across the street at the power house. We expected that to be the best one of the three connected museums. As it turned out, we liked the Mohave better. This museum had a really nice collection. Starting with the Presidents and First Ladies of the United States Of America. Then it just went in different directions as the museum went on. I really liked it. It even had a small movie theater. There is also a library on site. As well as the expected, gift shop you will exit through. All in all a really nice museum. This museum is also very close to the other museums and parks. There is a deal where if you pay admission for one museum, you get admission to all three museums at no extra cost. We went to one museum the afternoon before when arriving in town. Then went to the Mohave the next morning with no extra charge. We didn't go to the third museum as we wanted to get back on the road. The ticket prices as of May, 2023 were $10 for adults. But $6 for adults over 60 years old. As I said, if you pay admission to one Museum. You get admission to two additional museums for no additional coast. Just do not lose the ticket they give you. It also works good as a book mark. So if you're in the Kingman area. Here's a fairly inexpensive way to spend some time with up to three museums. As such, it should be obvious that I recommend them.
Sponge B — Google review
Great museum to stop by on your way to/from Vegas to Grand canyon national Park. Very quiet and for $10 per head you can cover three attractions. Children's 12 and below are free. Plenty of historic artifacts collectibles to view. Friendly staff and peaceful setting.
Murugesan S — Google review
Stopped in after going to the nearby Route 66 Museum and found this to be an interesting follow-up. Admission here is basically a package deal with a small fee of just ten dollars giving you entrance to this museum as well as the Route 66 facility and the historic Bonelli House. The Mohave Museum focuses on the history and environment of Mohave County with a set of dioramas depicting the earliest Native American inhabitants, to the arrival of settlers from the East, and on to the modern age. Another section discusses the history of mining and ranching in the area - key parts of Kingman's history. Also significant to Kingman was the former army air field founded during World War 2 and that's covered by various artifacts including a preserved piece of B-17 bomber nose art. A taxidermied display of animals covers the local fauna while a variety of smaller displays are about all sorts of esoterica such as presidential portraits, Native American crafts, doll houses made by locals, Asian American representation in Mohave County, and so on. A small gift shop has a selection of local souvenirs and handicrafts. Overall it's a fairly eclectic collection that should prove interesting to anyone who's interested in some local color and history.
Oliver ( — Google review
Right off the I-40, the museum features Western history, Indigenous people history, and a bit of Hollywood movia memorabilia, and a presidential portrait gallery. Nice gift shop. Only $6 for seniors. Stop in.

History museum
The Arizona Route 66 Museum, located in the former Kingman Powerhouse museum and visitor center complex, offers a fascinating journey through the history of the iconic highway. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring vintage cars, dioramas, and a movie that narrates the story of Route 66 from its origins as an indigenous trade route to its heyday as a symbol of Main Street America in the 1950s.
Great little museum with lots of cars, pictures, antiques, an informative movie about Route 66 and the boom and bust that happened. It also has a very nice gift shop and well behaved dogs are welcome! I really enjoyed my time there.❤️

Lots to see and learn. Gift shop & staff is great. Lots of information on travelling Route 66. RV parking. Wonderful props & pictures from back in the day.

The museum was a really nice stop in Kingman, AZ to understand the origin and decline of Route 66. It only cost $10 per person and kids 12 and under are free. The video is lengthy and slightly dated but provides a wealth of information for each AZ town on Route 66. The electric car portion was a nice addition.
Lindsay C — Google review
This little museum is much more than meets the eye. Its a souvenir shop, an information center for tourism across the region, a historical museum, a science and tech museum - electric vehicles from the turn of the century until now (including several record setters). Tickets for this attraction also get you into the Mojave County museum across the street and a historical building tour - great value. It was amazing looking at first hand accounts of living out here in the Wild West, especially some of the folks that weren't quite ready for everything. You really felt for them! This was a great expereince - highly recommend!
Anthony P — Google review
Pretty cool little museum in Kingman. Very inexpensive with some really cool photos and artifacts. There's an electric car room in the museum. It was really fun to see the progression of electric cars and how early in our history that they were being invented. Great way to spend an afternoon!
Gary H — Google review
We visited the museum when charging at the superchargers in the parking lot. Busy because Friday. It's a small but decent presentation. As far as we could tell, it was free to get in. There's a substantial souvenir store, where we bought our Arizona keepsake. There are 2 stories, with stairs and an elevator. Tip: the restroom on the second floor is less busy.
Cheryl N — Google review
Great little stop. There is a couple pictures opportunities outside and around the Museum. The museum itself was a little small for the price but pretty good. The price did include the Mojave Museum but its closed on Mondays.
Kay B — Google review
Really cute gift shop with a museum on the second floor. In the parking lot, you can take pictures with Rte 66 signs and drive your car through one of them. Lots of informational brochures for the entire state.

Situated in Downtown Kingman's Historic Powerhouse, it serves as an invaluable resource for information on local attractions and travel tips. The center's friendly staff warmly welcome visitors and provide assistance to make the most of their time in Kingman.
There is a lot of Route 66 merchandise at the 2 stores. People very friendly. Did not do the museum so xant comment on that. Has the history of Angel Delgadillo. We'll worth making the stop. Can drive through the route 66 arch we couldn't drive through it because of height restrictions. But I stood under it

A great stop on Route 66! The Kingman Visitor Center is not only full of local information, but also has a charming Route 66 museum inside. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to take a break, grab some brochures, and learn a bit about the area’s history. Don’t miss the gift shop—lots of fun Route 66 souvenirs!

Kingman Visitor Center is a wonderful stop on Route 66! Excellent pit stop between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Restrooms and water available. There is a train model on the second floor, and steam engine across the street.

Like this visitor center a lot. I did nog do the museum but the visitor center by itself was informative and joyful.😀

I visited here on a perfect day to be super delighted with the architecture of the building bathing in the morning sun. The electric car museum downstairs was wonderful, and I enjoyed the various exhibits, some of which are not seen elsewhere. The tour guide took us around and explained the details nicely. They have a lot of parking some of which are ♿ reserved for the differently abled with clear signs on them. The entrance is also accessible for a wheelchair bound person.
Tushar S — Google review
It's a nice little building. There is a Tesla charging station outside. A gift shop downstairs. The main store also downstairs, the owner not very welcoming however. I felt like we were just being watched the whole time we were there. Really cool Route 66 train upstairs. There is also a museum, didn't go in, but it is a $10 charge for those interested. Restrooms are avaliable.

Desert Diamond Distillery

Mentioned on
9 lists
Distillery
Food & Drink
Desert Diamond Distillery, the oldest craft distillery in Arizona, was established by the Patt family in 2010. Originally planning to open a brewery or winery, they shifted their focus to spirits after attending a distillery conference. The distillery offers five premium liquors, including award-winning rums. Located near Kingman Airport off Highway 66, it's one of the few open-to-the-public distilleries in Arizona.
They are part of the Harvest Host RV club. Big paved lot out front, gravel in back, lots of room. Nice little craft distillery, their agave rum is a nice sipper.
Charlie W — Google review
I stopped as I was heading out of town which happened to be just after 11:00am on a Monday. I'm so glad I stopped. Not only was I able to taste some great rums and a unique vodka, I had a great time learning interesting fun facts from their tasting specialist. I spent more time there then anticipated but that just means that it was better than I expected it would be which is a good thing. If I didn't have places to be I would have done a 2nd tasting to sample some of their reserve rums that are said to rival a good whiskey. So, plan a visit. There is a cost for the tasting but I thought it was worth it because of the variety. Plus you get a souvenir shot glass.
Roberta P — Google review
So impressed with this place. 2 beautiful Dark wood bars. The Agave Rum was my favorite. Impressive collection of distilled and flavored olive oils and drink mixes. Take time and relax at this place, enjoy their atmosphere.

if you're ever in the mood for some good spirits and a chill vibe, you gotta check out Desert Diamond Distillery. This place is super welcoming right from the get-go. It's got that laid-back, friendly atmosphere where you can just relax and enjoy yourself. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while staying in Kingman for work. We wanted to checkout some of the local places. The service here is fantastic. Everyone working there is helpful and genuinely friendly, making you feel right at home whether you're there for a tasting or just to grab a bottle. It's not one of those stuffy places; it's just a really comfortable spot to hang out and learn about their spirits. Definitely a great stop if you're in the area!
Zachary G — Google review
Unbelievable! This place truly exceeded our expectations. Don't be put off by the location at the airport. It is worth the drive out. We are staying on the property as Harvest Host members and enjoyed an amazing lunch in one of the historic train cars. The retail store and bar are upscale and filled with delightful gift items and products. Spent a little time chatting with the owner and found out they have been in this location since 2009 and are the oldest distillery still in business in AZ. A true must see when you are in the Kingman area!
Stacey P — Google review
Our Friday afternoon stop was outstanding. As Harvesthost members, we were allowed to stay on distillery grounds for free and park our 36 foot RV and the Jeep in their parking lot. We took advantage of their hospitality and made a reservation to eat the delicious sandwiches in the old train car. Later in the afternoon we sampled their outstanding Rum flights while the owner John gave us a detailed description of his creations. Overall a super nice experience, plenty of room to accommodate our rig, grounds and facility are clean, people are welcoming and the spirits are wonderful ! Thank you for your hospitality Desert Diamond Distillery.
Martina S — Google review
An amazing experience in a small batch distillery who does things with quality in mind. Staff are awesome, grilled cheese panani on the dining car from 1918 was fun and tasty. The spirits were impressive: Agave Rum, Moonshine, and their 7 year whiskey were impressive also. Give them a shot! They are also a Harvest Host, look that up if you have an RV!
Nathan W — Google review
While driving along Route 66 you can find real gems like Diamond Distillery in Kingman. I really recommend stopping there – they have award-winning rums and also a very good corn whisky. The best thing is that you can try everything in a tasting menu and then walk out with the bottle you liked the most. Totally worth it!

Hualapai Mountain Park Campground

Mentioned on
1 list
Park
Nature & Parks
Hualapai Mountain Park Campground is a rustic camping park located in northwestern Arizona. The park offers rugged hiking trails that overlook the desert and provides cabins for accommodation. Visitors are warned not to feed the wildlife as it can be dangerous and is considered a crime. The park boasts abundant trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, and opportunities for wildlife viewing such as deer, elk, eagles, and woodpeckers.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We appeared to be the only people occupying a cabin, which added to our relaxation. Everyone we interacted with was super kind, from the people on the phone to the staff cleaning restrooms. Our stay happened to fall during a craft fair weekend, too, which was a fun bonus. Delicious food trucks and excellent local crafts. We booked cabin #7, which was fine, as you can see from the pictures. However, the pictures online when booking the cabin are wrong. They show a different interior. Which is really our only, biggest disappointment. And there is lots of dog poop around. Which is a bummer since there are bags at the trailheads and parking areas. We travel with two bigger dogs, and it's sad to see others being so gross and disrespectful. There are plenty of trash cans around! Review Update: We will be so sad to leave! Our stay at the park has been beyond fantastic. We've stayed in three different cabins over two weeks. #11 was very spacious in terms of living area but a very tight bathroom! The shower stall is about 3x3. But the water pressure is fantastic! The kitchen range top is a two burner RV style & you will need a lighter to get things started. On a weekend (when the park fills up), the road outside is rather busy. But its fun to wave at everyone. Cabin #4 has been our favorite so far. Large living space thanks to the built in bunks. And screens on some of the windows! Which is great for nighttime breezes. Big four burner stove top, again bring a lighter. Bigger shower stall plus a sink/vanity in the bathroom. Cabin #7 has a four burner stove top, no lighter required. Full size tub & shower, a spacious bathroom in general. I can't speak highly enough of every single person we've interacted with here at the park. Employees & volunteers, everyone is so incredibly kind. And helpful!

I love coming here to hike or just a place to sit and get away. Love the forestry vibes. Haven’t for too far into the hikes. I love there’s hardly ever anyone at the “dog park” it’s a dirt space with a ton of pine cones but my dog loves to run in it. Recently we camped here and it was fun. Creepy hearing the elk bugle all night long wondering if they were at the camp site. I will be back!
Heather G — Google review
Super awesome campground. You pick your own campsite which we love!! We practically had the whole campground to ourselves. Very clean sites and well maintained bathrooms. We have zero complaints about this campground. Look at our friend that showed up last night. 🩷

Quiet, family friendly campground. They had a small, but clean playground in the main camping area. Campground host was very helpful and accommodating!

We did not camp, we hiked. Beautiful trail, quiet and serene. We will make it back to do the other trails as well. We hiked potato patch.

This place is amazing! The various trails are at a multitude of difficulty levels. Even my smallest kids loved to climb and hike through. The cabins are cozy and accommodating. The playgrounds are very nice. The picnic areas are plentiful. The disk golf is challenging but fantastic. The whole place is great sun, rain, or snow. The staff are amazing and super friendly. This place made my kids love the outdoors. We will be back many times.

Don was so friendly and we really enjoyed all the wines we tried during our tasting. We bought several bottles. We want to go back on an afternoon when there will be music as it is a beautiful location and venue. We hope to stay overnight with our camper as a Harvest Host guest when we return. The camping area is really beautiful with 360 degree views! I imagine the star gazing is wonderful too. Thank you, Don!

Stopped here as our first Harvest Host try. Absolutely fantastic. Super friendly owners and the wine is fabulous. Brought a bunch home to share with family and friends in Santa Fe. Highly recommend a stop if you are in the area. Beautiful grounds with wonderful sunset views.

November 2022 -- be aware this winery was closed at this time due to the owner's death. We drove out to visit this winery because we had been there in the past and enjoyed their wine. The website indicated it was open but when we got there is was closed up. We learned that the winery had been closed for a while. Call ahead if you intend to visit to make sure it's open. We wish we had! Luckily, there are other wineries in the area so our trip was not wasted.

I love this place! You can't find better owners. Wine is all fantastic. Usually I go to a winery and fine 1 or 2 I like, here there isn't a single wine I wouldn't drink. There sweet wines in particular are excellent and I am not a sweet wine drinker normally. I went out during there Sunday evening open house with live music, even though I had never been there it was like spending the afternoon/evening with extended family, the good kind. Thanks everyone for a wonderful night!

We finally made it! Glad too! Their wines are good, especially the red desert wine...yummy. Don, the owner, was gracious, and Tiffany was very informative. We plan on returning soon for Sunday music!

Excellent selection and ambiance. Between this and Little Old Wine Drinkers, what a great way to spend an afternoon. I highly recommend visiting both. Tip of the cap to great neighbors, and I wish I could have also met Don Stetson.

This place is amazing. Away from the city, private. The couple that run it know more about wine than The First Lady of Wine, Heidi Peterson Barrett. I can’t think of another place within a thousand miles that has a better quality product. And they ship to almost everywhere! Our dog was even welcomed. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won’t regret it.

Cella winery is like a second home to me and my wife...they are like family. Micah definitely knows how to make great wines. Ginger and the kids are delightful...everyone should visit...you won't be disappointed... enjoy!

Cells Winery is worth the trip off of Route 66. A quant winery that offers good Italian wines, outdoor seating with great views, indoor seating with air conditioning and great wine conversations with Carlos! We loved the stop here and to hear all about the history of Cella Wines, the essergance of grape growing in the area and about the great wines. You get 5 tastings for $5 and they offered 10 different wins in the tasting room when we went. Tasting room not open when you are passing by? Give a call anyway and Carlos will open up if he can! Enjoy!

Nice selection of wine. The owner didn't even greet us when we walked in. Not a great winery experience!

It's definitely worth a side trip from traveling Route 66. Tasted their amazing 2023 Trousseau Gris today, kicked myself for not buying more of it
Jeff T — Google review
I would say that it's a good winery, but the guy at the counter (who's supposedly one of the owners) was extremely annoying and it wasn't pleasant for me as I sampled my wine. I don't want to taste any wine being poured by a know-it-all who just wants to brag about how much he knows about <insert here> so he feels he needs to school me about random topics like the hottest city in Arizona, and how amazing he is because he started a business, which literally anyone can do. The wine wasn't that great anyways. Waste of money.

Hackberry General Store, located on Route 66 in Hackberry, Arizona, has a rich history dating back to 1934. The store was originally operated by the famous Route 66 artist Bob Waldmire and has survived periods of abandonment. Visitors often stop here to take photos, rest, and purchase souvenirs. The store is known for its cool memorabilia related to Route 66 and features interesting items for sale.
A very cool stop on old Route 66. There is lots to see, things to buy and so many things to take pics of. If you like classic cars and old signs this is the place to stop. Also be sure to say hi to Charlie the cat! 🐈

Neat old store. So much to see inside and outside. Some classic stripped cars, old signs etc. Inside had nicknacks, clothes and sodas. Worth a quick stop.

Hackberry General Store is a must-stop on historic Route 66! The place is full of character, with vintage cars, classic signs, and lots of nostalgic memorabilia that take you back in time. It feels like an open-air museum where every corner has something interesting to see. The atmosphere is very authentic, and it’s a great spot for photos and a quick break on the road. Definitely worth visiting for anyone traveling along Route 66!

Old Timey Charm. Lots of biker groups. Stocked with the latest, but still has the yesteryear look! Lots of old cars and machines, brands of which preceded me. Friendly cat named Charlie in the store loves to be pet. Learnt the hard way. Wear closed toed shoes. :)

This was a must stop for us on the rt.66 trip as its a historical stop and landmark. This place has so much historical things inside and outside, they have cold drinks, snacks, restroom and friendly people that work here. I really like how it was decorated and you can see that many people around the world came to visit this place just because of its historical presence. This place is a must stop on your rt.66 trip no matter what, support this place by getting something so thst it can stay open and alive for many generations. This place used to be a old gas station back in the day i believe and was renovated to become what it is today. I highly recommend coming here if your in the area as well and not just doing rt.66.

One of the best selections of souvenirs and memorabilia along this section of Rt 66. The old vehicles and workshop add to the nostalgic charm along with the surprisingly effective outdoor meditation space. It’s just a wonderful spot to stop and take in the ambiance. On another note we had a bit of a fright when my daughter and grandson stepped into the beehive roofed structure out back and were greeted by an equally startled ground snake. The experience was good for a laugh after the shock wore off.

Stopped in to get a sandwich and found this super unique purse, great piece of turquoise, and black arrow head that I just had to have. They also had other traveling favorites like adorable magnets and area friendly cacti sets for sale. The jewelry though was beautifully crafted with genuine stones!! I loved the rings, sadly my fingers are so small there were no size fours, but the shopkeeper assured me she would look into getting some smaller sizes to just stop back by. Since I travel through this area about once a month I am definitely making it my way station. The restaurant connected was warm and welcoming. I ordered a grilled cheese with fries. These fries were some of the best fries I have had on the road. They were fresh and crispy on the outside, but soft in the inside. Literally the perfect fry!! The grilled cheese wasn't as greasy as I like mine, but it made for a filling and nostalgic lunch.

Maybe new inexperienced owners. Stopped yesterday 10/5/19 for lunch with family. Got our orders wrong. Ordered 4 burgers for 4 people only 3 came out. 10 minutes later we got the last one. Burgers were extremely overcooked very dry and hard to chew and swallow. On the plus side fries were good and they didn’t charge for the late burger. Been coming here for years and the food and service was always pretty good. Very disappointed. Don’t know if I will ever go back. Hopefully they are new and will get there act together. Everyone there just didn’t seem interested in service.

Took a ride out here and had lunch . It was what I expected and what I was looking for . Had a burger and fries and a pretty cowgirl waitress who was very nice . Reading some of these other reviews I don’t think people understand that this is a diner not a French restaurant. If your road tripping and want an authentic Americana meal to go along with your adventure this is a decent stop .

I don't know about the Motel, but the trading post and restaurant are fine. They are very old school, a throwback to the 60s, but very clean with nice employees and decent prices. I was in the ladies room the other day when a young mother came in with her baby, and was shocked there was no diaper changing station. Again, this place is "quaint". Expect to see open faced hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes on the restaurant menu, it's that kind of place.

This place is awesome! I really can't thank these people enough! We came in just as they were closing their doors, but they kept the fryers on for us and served us weary travelers. A kindness of truly biblical proportions. May God bless these people profoundly! Thank you. By the way, the food is awesome! The hot sauce is legit, too, so be careful!
Mark S — Google review
my son and I were traveling north for a special event. We got hungry and stopped in for breakfast. The menu was limited menu due to covid but there was plenty to choose from. I make it a point to eat local and find the out of the way places as they often do not disappoint. The Wikiup Trading Post Restaurant was no exception. The service was fast and friendly. Coffee was fresh and hot and the atmosphere was perfect, old school, road side diner goodness. I got the breakfast burrito with sausage ( ham and bacon are the other meat options). I'm a lover of all things wrapped in tortillas and am a huge fan of the breakfast burrito. Typically breakfast burritos are heavy on filler like egg and potato with little meat. Not this bad boy, it was loaded with sausage with just the right amount of cheese, egg and hash Browns. A side of salsa and a dash or two of their local hot sauce and I was in breakfast burrito heaven. You could easily split this between two people. If you're hungry and driving on highway 93 in Arizona, you need to stop in and grab a bite. You won't be sorry.

This is easily the coolest stop I have made in a long time. Convenience store side is well stocked to keep you going on your journey and the restaurant is like a time machine to the golden age of road travel. We enjoyed our food and the time we spent here.

What a great day! So glad we stopped. Our tour guide, Savannah was outstanding! She knew lots of info about each one of the animals and was able to answer tons of questions. I would absolutely recommend the tour! Walking after the tour was great to take as long as we wanted to look at the animals. The animals here all have a story. Thank goodness they made their way to Keepers of the Wild! Without them they would not have survived. They are fed well and their habitats are cleaned every day. The only thing which could have made this better was to see the hibernating bears or attending the 330 tour to watch the feedings.

Went on a very hot day. The animals weren't very visible as they were trying to stay cool. Don't recommend going in the summer. Nice gift shop and workers. Used a get out pass. No service in the area.

Our family's experience at Keepers of the Wild was unforgettable! All of the animals here live in very happy, enriched environments. Our tour guide was amazing and shared the unique, incredible stories of each animal with us. The guided tour is definitely worth it because of this! This park is a sanctuary for animals from bad situations and it was plain to see that their primary goal was the comfort and happiness of the animals. The workers were all very passionate and loving towards the animals. What a wonderful place! Thank you for all that you do!

Very nice place not crowded. But to plan better in my opinion go to the guided tours. I went on the 1530 feeding tour and you still have time after to go see your favorite or the whole park. Bring cash because their electricity does go out. Also I love that you can bring your own food and they have chairs and tables. Drinks are available to purchase.

We took my Grand daughter on the 23rd of this month .. We had an Awesome time visiting & learning how the animals were all rescued.. our tour guide Cynthia was just the Best .. very knowledgeable and told us stories of all the animals there … Kudo’s Cynthia ! Gift shop was very reasonably priced and offered lots of varieties of souvenirs! My eldest Grand daughter will be here next week and we will be bringing her to explore… Again … A Must see ! Thank You for doing what you do !

I love that this place exists because some humans really suck! The animals here come from both private and some very public (previous) owners who should never have pets. even if these animals won't ever make it back to their rightful habitat, these people take care of them and give them a better life. They have mostly big cats, but they have taken in other animals as well. Did the bus tour and had a very friendly, informative guide. You can walk through but the guided tour offers a unique perspective. The place is run solely on donations and the revenue generated at the park, so save some money for the gift shop when you go.

Wow. What an amazing experience. From the woman at the entrance to the gift shop to the staff on the bus. They waited 10 minutes so a elderly person had enough time to walk up a slight hill to get on the bus and to reassure us to take our time that they have no problem waiting for everybody. Wow. We all enjoyed the sanctuary itself as well as the knowledge the tour guide had on every animal. They are on a personal level with each species. Are group can't wait to go back. It takes roughly an hour but we'll worth the entrance fee. Ps.. the monkey has a funny personality.

Top place to stop if you’re doing AZ Route 66 (be sure to get the Route 66 passport from kingman!) We did the 3:30 tour and we really enjoyed. They feed the big cats on our tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Each animal is incredible. My daughter especially loved the spider monkeys. We used the Get Out Pass. Great value and they’ll let you upgrade to the tour. HOWEVER there is no cell service there. You need to take a screenshot of your pass ahead of time. I had to drive back down the road until I got service to redeem my pass. The cashier wasn’t familiar with the pass but hopefully they’ll work all that out. Also, I tried calling and messaging before our visit but I couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Very cool place and a must if you’re driving along the Mother Road!

Hualapai River Runners offers an exhilarating one-day whitewater rafting adventure at the Grand Canyon. The tour includes a helicopter ride to the rim, a guided hike to Travertine Falls, and lunch by the Colorado River. Departing from Peach Springs, Arizona, the experience also provides ground transportation from Hualapai Lodge. Visitors praise the friendly staff and knowledgeable guides who ensure everyone's comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip.
We had so much fun! We did the 1-day rafting tour and it was excellent. The guides were personable and knowledgeable. They had coolers full of cold drinks and waters. For lunch we were served simple, yet tasty sandwiches and chips. I highly recommend doing this if you would like to see the Grand Canyon and cool off at the same time. The water was cool and refreshing in the hot summer heat. There were multiple stops to let us swim and take pictures. We had an amazing time!!

This was a long time goal to raft the Colorado. Not a big WW guy, but love it. Couldn't do the 2 day overnight for multiple reasons. Booking was easy online, asking questions before hand were impossible through the call center. Call the Wualipia Resort front desk directly and have them transfer. Now to the trip. The bus rides are brutal, but that's just part of it. Driver did the best he could and pointed out historical places. The river was running normal about a ft low. The rapids were to great, maybe a little less than class for the water level. i had never power whitewater'd. It was different, but I kind of liked it. You do cover 58.5 miles and half is a slow float. The scenery was as expected, absolutely amazing. We saw a number of birds and longhorns. I loved the hike, climb to the waterfall. If you are physically able DO THIS! All this would have been worth the price. I can't speak for the other 2 boats (they all seemed happy), our guide Kyle was great. Who knew every curve, sandbar and every rapid and really dug into them, ALL of them. He was extremely knowledgeable of the history of the canyon and the geological key points. Kyle knew the Wualipai. During the trip he told us he was Apache, brother tribe from other side of the Grand Canyon. Told us he did not grow up a River Runner and only started about 2 years ago. I would not have believe it had he not told us. Kyle made the trip so much better than it already was. Thanks to all the support and staff it took to give us a great day.

We had an amazing, breathtaking , scratch off the bucket list trip. Our guide Brian was so cool and made sure we had a blast. The river was soooo much fun we ill be going again next year. It was safe for kids of all ages even non swimmers and swimmers alike. Everyone from the tribe is so nice and this is definitely a trip worth every single penny. Thanks Brian for making sure my kids and family were safe and had a blast...Def lifelong memories. When we come back we only want Brian driving our raft.

We did the 2 day overnight trip and it was incredible, easily the highlight of our southwest trip. The guides are very knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun learning about the people, plants and animals that live around the canyon and history of the canyon. We stopped at some breathtaking spots for short hikes and had the opportunity to swim through rapids at one point. The provided food was great too, better than expected for an overnight camping trip, fresh sandwiches and fruit for lunches and dinner we had grilled steak and potatoes. I would definitely come back again it's quite the experience!

Last weekend my friend and I were on a two-day rafting trip with Hualapai River Runners. The experience exceeded all expectations, mostly because of the amazing staff: Cody, Scott, Laura and McCrary (sp?) were STELLAR. Cody was the guide for our raft. His confidence and experience made me feel safe and prepared for the river. They also set up a great camp, cooked a delicious dinner AND a delicious breakfast. The trip itself was perfect: a section of time with intermittent rapids, another section of time with calm waters and the second day with our rafts attached to the motorized boat so we could relax. The views were breathtaking the entire time!! Our camp site was so comfortable and Hualapai River Runners provided tents, sleeping bags and sleeping pads. As we were rafting, Cody shared information about history, geology and fun facts. The other people in our group were friendly and interesting. I think our evening conversations at camp were some of my most favorite moments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this experience

I booked this rafting trip for a July vacation at Grand Canyon National Park. It was, in many ways, the highlight of the trip. It started with a shuttle over to the rafting site, from the hotel in town. The drive is long, but you get to see some really cool valley cliffs along the way. We divided up into two rafts for the trip and there was a third raft that was just support and photography. You can get access to a whole trip's worth of photos from the rafting, for a reasonable fee. Pretty early on it's amazing to be surrounded by the huge cliff walls along the river. We got in some rapids pretty quickly too. Our driver would line the raft(engine powered) up with the biggest rapid he could see, then crash up into it. It was thrilling. I was smiling the whole time. We also had a couple side hikes from the river-shores during the trip. The first hike that we had was absolutely amazing! I've done a lot of hiking, but this was the first time in such a beautiful, brightly colored waterfall filled, desert cavern! Insanely gorgeous and I only wish the photos could have captured more of it's energy. The second hike also took us to a waterfall, but it was in a little tucked away spot in the open air. If you have the means to do this, I'd recommend reserving as soon as you can, because it was amazing! Oh, and they do have a vegetarian option for included meals.

Went yesterday and had an amazing time. This was the highlight of our trip to the Grand Canyon. All the staff was very nice and Scott was awesome and a great guide, always offering drinks, snacks, telling us some stories and history, offering to take photos, stopping for several stops to swim and cool off and making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. This was a truly amazing experience for my son and I. I’d give more stars but 5 is the limit. Highly recommend adding this adventure to your Grand Canyon visit. Thanks Scott and the entire team for making it such a fantastic day to remember!

Fantastic experience! Booked a group of six for the Two Day Rafting Tour and was not disappointed. John, Bronson, Kyle and the rest of the guys took great care of us and provided excellent insight into the history, geography and culture of The Canyon. Plenty of hydration for the 110º days on the river. Excellent communication between crew memebers across different rafts made for an extremely safe environment and they cooked some pretty great camp food, too! John's knowledge of the Rapids kept us upright and on schedule the whole trip. A couple of close calls, for sure. But, that's what you're there for, right?!? He was engaged the whole 50+ miles on the river and educated us on everything from geology to flora and fauna to local lore and urban legends (the Honeymoon Rapids story is nuts!). I Would definitely recommend to anyone who isn't afraid to get a lil banged up, sweaty and dirty.

To be honest, having been to multiple spectacular caverns in several states, we were not expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised by this experience. Easy walk with just a few slightly challenging up and down hills on the path. Entry and exit is by elevator. The guide was informative and friendly. A unique part was we did the combo and had lunch at the bottom, 200' down in the cavern. Bison burgers were great especially with having to bring everything down from the restaurant up top. They did make a mistake on my meal, but corrected it within minutes, which is great considering someone had to get it from the restaurant at ground level! Some interesting facts about this dry, dead cave were shared AND there is a 'hotel room' at the bottom that you can book for the night. It is in a large cavern, with two queen beds, tv, dvd movies, and even a turntable for music. Booked up a YEAR in advance!! There is even Room Service!

The Grand Canyon Caverns Tour plus lunch was an unplanned stop during our visit to Arizona. We are so happy we stumbled upon the tour online, as we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Excellent stop on old route 66, driving back to the caverns and taking the tour took about an hour and a half. I was expecting it to be a tourist trap, which it kinda is, but the caverns where bigger and more interesting than expected. The path in the cave is long maybe half a mile and does have a fair bit of up and down elevation gain. One woman in our group had a difficult time managing, so keep that in mind.

We stayed in the RV Park with oir 17 ft travel trailer for two nights. They have water and electric hook up. Dump station is behind the market at the entrance. The second night they had a veterans day cookout with a band and they roasted a pig and a live band to 10 p. Mostly locals showed up having a good time and nothing got out of control. This is the second time doing the cave tour and lunch combo! Its definitely a bucket list if you haven't done it before. Beware it dosent tell you in the website the "hike" in the standard tour can be stenious at many spots, especially for older people. It is paves the whole way but are some steep incline/decline at various points. Overall I love the experience here and would do it and stay again

This was a great experience! It's amazing to see the caverns and hear the history. All of the employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We did the full tour with the in the cavern lunch. The food was delicious! The only thing I would say is that some of the walking on the tour has stairs or steep hills to walk up, so it might not be doable for some people.

What a surprise to have this place so close to the start of Havasupi trailhead. Nothing fancy, but did the trick and thoroughly enjoyed being able to pick up our passes the night before so we could get an early start in the morning. A small restaurant is located just a short way from the property and was great to have a warm meal before heading out for a four day hike. They offered a small continental breakfast For free starting at 4:00am which was so kind. Not a lot of amenities but beats camping out one more night. Definitely worth the price!

Great experience I would definitely recommend a day trip to the caverns. Make sure you do the longer tour(45) minutes, well worth it.
Micah S — Google review

Historic Seligman Sundries, previously known as Teds Famous Malts, is a charming roadside coffee shop that immerses visitors in the nostalgia of Route 66. The vintage decor and diverse collection of souvenirs and groceries reflect the town's rich history and the enduring spirit of the American West. Visitors can meet the owner, Angel Delgadillo, adding a personal touch to the experience.
Nice historic place along the old route 66 with a nice collection of some old bikes and cars. also a nice gift shop for route 66 souvenirs

This was our first stop on the combined trip to Kingman and Seligman from LV. They had a colorful and appealing storefront that was visible from the far off with nice retro pastel colors and Route 66 written in the classic white-on-black font. I enjoyed my brief stop here while admiring the various artifacts lying around from the bygone era of the Route 66 heydays. ♿They had an accessible entrance.

Great place to see vintage cars, movie history ( the movie Cars), learn more about the famous Route 66 and the development of the USA highway system, check out some horses, buy some souvenirs, and meet the friendly Cowboy who looks after the horses. We stopped here on a tour enroute to the Grand Canyon South rim. If you happen to be in the area, this place is worth checking out.

So many events in the history of America and the lives of people are connected with this highway that probably everyone has heard or seen a film with this road. In this place there is a whole museum of cars and rare equipment from Route 66. Old police cars, tow trucks, motorcycles, and much more. In addition, it is a great place for photos. a little advice, if you want to buy a magnet from trasoc 66, then this is not the best place. They are valuable for magnets from $ 7, if you want to buy something for memory, it is better to do it in a supermarket or gas station. Everything is very expensive here.

We visited this small town in Route 66 on an excursion from Vegas. While the drive was long, it was definitely worth it. We got to see the historic road and this place had a bunch of real life cars inspired by the movie Cars.

Can’t speak on the café because we only had time for the gift shop and pictures with the cars, but it was lovely! The gift shop had so much to look at and decently priced tourist junk and Route 66 themed clothes! The cars outside are adorable too 🚗

The place is very good to collect some souvenirs. Nearby we usually get to meet Cowboys too with their gorgeous horses. We get to see vintage car models on the historic road, "Route 66".

The interior boasts a unique combination of a saloon, night club, and hippie commune with mannequins adding to the quirky atmosphere. This local watering hole has become known for its authentic Western experience and community atmosphere.
Great shop with many interesting items to browse through. The woman behind the desk was friendly, helpful and shared stories. Wish I would have more time there.

We were here in Nov 2024 & it seemed like the store shelves were half empty like they are preparing to close up. It took us 10 min to look inside. Much of surrounding things were closed for the season.

Another interesting and intriguing gift shop along historic Route 66 highway in Seligman, Arizona. There are so many interesting items from the past located in this part of town and worth the visit if you are passing through. And you cannot help being drawn to the unique store frontage at the east end of the store. There are two separate gift shops, one on each end, but do not know if they are connected or not. Neither is one of these shops that large, but if you have time, it is worth the look. Finding parking might be a bit of a challenge but we were able to find parking along one of the side streets. Finally, friendly and helpful staff members at both locations.

Stop in and visit, and browse the selection of souvenirs. Great sunglasses, goggle style, and really reasonable prices. Also great little charms, and rocks, as well as the shirts, etc. And a free souvenir you will LOVE! But you have to go in, I won't tell you what it is! To be honest, this turned out to be my favorite thing from Seligman, the free souvenir from this store. But please do buy something when you go in, if you can, to help keep the town going for future generations.

Angel & Vilma Delgadillo's Original Route 66 Gift Shop is one of our favorite places to shop for souvenirs on Route 66. The store is run by the relatives of Angel Delgadillo. We had a long conversation with them about their father and the history of the store, Seligman, and his impact on Route 66. This is a fantastic store. it's a great place to look around, especially Angel's Barber Shop. There are great shirts, magnets, hats, etc. Later on that evening, we happened to meet Angel, who was out on his daily walks. We both had a fantastic conversation, and he showed me where the original alignment of Route 66 was, and we walked over to his pool hall. Thus was quite the experience, and I will always remember the kindness of his daughters and the history lesson from Angel.

Wow what an experience, so much history. This shop is very special & a must stop if your into old Route 66. It all starts here and how the last remainder of the hi way was saved and turned into a historic drive. Hector (hope that's right) shared so much history of Angel the Barber and how it all came together. Many of the items including shirts are USA made as well. Take the time and get off the main highway, get a map and take a drive down history lane. Were glad we did! The Pixar film Cars was based from this town.

We stayed in the RV campground and had a wonderful experience. The bathrooms were cleaned every morning by Jackie and Reagan, who loved on our dogs!! The kitchen area has 2 full size refrigerators, microwave, small table, sink, and washer/dryer. The men car camping in the tent sites made use of this unexpected luxury. We had electric and water hookups. No sewer but the nice bathrooms make that unnecessary. There are two trees per site so park carefully to utilize the little bit of shade. The entire Gunsite area is immaculate and well maintained. Highly recommend as all sites are pull thru and even big rigs can be accommodated.

Gunsite is more than a school it's a coming together of like-minded folks who want to impart their wisdom, experience and ethos into each student. They know which individuals like me perform best with satire and swift verbal kicks and those like my wife that perform best when encouraged and shown patience. It is a mind-expanding place of learning and confidence building. Expensive? Yes. Wife and I have taken six classes and never felt the return on investment was not worth it.

My son went for the July Youth 250 Class and absolutely loved it. The days were hot and long but he wanted to stay and train all summer with his instructors. The instructors were some of the best in the world. I highly recommend this training to adult and youth alike. Prepare for the best training experience of your life.

I’ve taken the Scout rifle class, battle rifle and night vision here. Lots of cool lessons for many types of firearms here. There’s great walking ranges in beautiful country here. There’s also cool shoot houses. The instructors are on the tactical military and police side of the shooting world. Many of the instructors are SOF. The instruction is safe and effective.
Don N — Google review
I took Defensive Handgun 250 course. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable. With their guidance, I was appropriately challenged and my skills greatly increased. Great facilities as well. The course is logical and well implemented. I can't say enough good things about it. Highly recommended.
David M — Google review
Looking for a class/facility to take your firearm safety and skills to the next level? Look no further. Ok it’s the first of its kind for me but I have so many positive experiences throughout the week with our range master Jerry, and instructors Verlin, Joe and Ryan. I’ve only been shooting for 12 years ( very sporadically in my consistency) and they were extremely patient with me. I attended the 250 Defensive Pistol Class, pushed outside my boundaries/comfort level and see so much more clearly now as I look back on my 5 days on Southrange. I was as much of a sponge as I could be, taking the experience and knowledge they each bestowed upon me into my next school drill. Everything Gunsite does, you can be sure safety is first! I could never picture myself participating in drills in the rain but there I was hitting the target and speed loading magazines while learning how to search and shoot with a flashlight in the dark. I’ve been in some dicey situations in life and hadn’t thought of doing this until a girlfriend shared her own experience at Gunsite. I left feeling empowered to not use my firearm but if it came down to it, I could get the job done. The mindset training is what really helped me see life beyond the range. Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper, the founder, also an author, columnist, professor, WW II and Korean War combat veteran intended Gunsite to be the vehicle for spreading the Modern Technique of the Pistol, a modern technique that defines pragmatic use of the pistol for personal protection. I can’t wait to go back to hone my new skills and take it to the next level. Met some great new friends and shared an amazing life changing experience with my own group of friends. I highly recommend Gunsite Academy!
Diana M — Google review
I have 11 Gunsite diplomas on my wall, and I've visited a number of times for events and matches over the years. Simply said, it is the finest facility of its kind. The physical plant is superb and getting better each year. The administration, customer service and pro shop are top-notch. Most importantly, the instructor cadre sets the standard for the industry. No matter your skill level or experience, you owe it to yourself to visit Gunsite.
Randy W — Google review
Just completed 2-day pistol range day. What a great experience!! Eric, Lou and Dan were amazing. We were fast paced with just enough recovery time between drills. We covered a lot of movement drills, I learned to shoot if my red dot was not usable (I do not have a front sight) long distance drills, (I hit 85 yards and 100 yard targets with my pistol) and team tactics. The class was very supportive of each other. Thank you Ron A for getting me back in action when I had a holster malfunction- I really wanted to shoot the Wilson drill and you saved the.day! Tent camping under the stars was an added bonus. Can’t wait to come back for GAS. Kathleen Lodge-Brannan September 2025

Beyond beautiful! I grew up around vineyards in the East and had a difficult time adjusting to Arizona. I'm so glad to finally have found a beautiful winery!! The wine selection is small but earthy and boasting with flavor. The gorgeous peacocks roaming around add for a nice unique touch. Ash Fork Route 66 Museum

History Museums
Entry is free and the prices for souvenirs are reasonable. The exhibits are well put together. I grew up in Ash Fork but left in 1982. Seeing the pictures of town the way it used to be is really nice. The replica of the Escalante Hotel is worth the stop.

Beautiful mural outside. Also went in to see a bit of history. Super friendly knowledgeable staff giving visitors all kinds of fun facts about the area. If you are visiting the area, this should be your first stop to find out all the places to go and see. Place is full of information about the area and Route 66 not just for Ash Fork but the surrounding cities as well.

Rosemary was the volunteer the day we arrived & we really appreciate her helpfulness and knowledge. She introduced us to the Route 66 Passport and gave us our first stamp, showed us around the museum and sold us some coins as well. Cool little unexpected stop in our travels.

We have passed this town for over 40 years and have never taken the time to stop. But thanks to Geocaching, we finally did and discovered a hidden gem in the desert of Ash Fork. This museum is located just off the I40 and is a must-stop for anyone interested in the historical background of the famous Route 66 Highway, as well as the history of this town. The museum is full of memorabilia of “days-gone-by” just itching to tell their stories. Inside the museum is a visitor center, a sort of gift shop, a restroom and a hanger full of history. In addition, just outside of the building is the Ash Fork Historic Walk as well as an old fire engine and farm/manufacturing equipment. We learned that this entire visitor center and museum is staffed by volunteers who have given their time and effort to let us all experience a little bit of history. We wish to recognize the volunteer that we met that day, unfortunately we forgot his name. It was on a Wednesday late afternoon and we know he was a Marine in Vietnam back in 1966-1967. He was a wonderful person, extremely friendly, entertaining and so willing to answer any questions we had about the history of the town. This is truly worth the time to visit and would recommend you plan to spend at least an hour or better yet, two, to fully enjoy and ingest what is found inside this oasis in the desert.

Grand Canyon Brewing + Distillery is a cozy, timber-clad stop in downtown Williams that offers a variety of experiences. It's a family-operated business that serves as a brewery, distillery, tap house, and restaurant. The log-cabin-style building exudes warmth and comfort, providing the perfect setting to enjoy their in-house brewed beers like Black Iron IPA and Sunset Amber Ale. In addition to craft beers, they also offer spirits and canned cocktails made with locally sourced grains.
Great place to rest after a long day with a beer and food. Large pretzel with fix’n will fill you up. Didn’t have enough tummy room to finish the fried pickles. Warm and friendly place with great staff. Then we stuffed ourselves with delicious ice cream. We will definitely go back

There happened to a Tesla charging station there 10+ stalls. went inside 1st impression Nice. Walking inside a lil gift shop of shirts, tanks, pullovers, coffee mugs etc. Hostess center was there greeted us/you. Walked in you can feel a nice vibe family, friends, buddies having a bite to eat/ drink / happy hour! We were there for beer and appetizers. Horseshoe Bend Ale - light blonde easy drink. Brew 42 - light/dark beer i drank that & ended drinking the Horseshoe. $7 each. Noticed they had a flight of 4 / 5. Bar is cool & had a nice selection of liquor. 2 - 6 is their Happy Hr! Nice menu. Lunch at Grand Canyon Brewery in Williams. Pumpkin Spice Porter & Prickly Pear Wheat beers. yum. I had the grilled shrimp tacos & Brian had the loaded sausage, see last Pic. Food was good, tasty, served properly. A tad expensive, compared to other places both inside and outside of Williams. Service was a bit sparse....maybe because they just opened 15 minutes before? We had a hard time getting a check to pay. The beer menu had no prices, unlike the rest of their spirits/cocktails & wine, not sure why.....and they were out of all their sours, heavy bummer. I'd put prices on your beer. How much is a flight? idk. The beers were $8 and $7 respectively, above. When we finally caught the guy to pay he was apologetic for the wait. But we had a nice lunch on the couch in front of their fireplace on a cold day!

We had lunch here while waiting for our Tesla being charged right outside. We tried its special of the day, brisket BBQ sandwich with fries and chicken quesadilla. Both were okay with its fried pickle being the highlight of the meal. The service was friendly and excellent. The seating area was interesting to say the least. I can’t really complaint as it fed us (quite full might I add) while our car was charged at a lightening speed, so it seemed,

Nestled in the heart of Williams, Arizona, the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel offers a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. This quaint property is conveniently located right next to the historic train station that has been transporting visitors to the breathtaking Grand Canyon since 1901. Guests can enjoy comfortable accommodations adorned with train memorabilia, making for a unique stay. The hotel features an inviting restaurant and cozy pub where you can unwind after a day of exploration.
Our stay at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel made our Grand Canyon getaway smooth, simple, and memorable. We booked the hotel + train vacation package, which took all the logistics off our plate—an easy walk to the depot in the morning, a fantastic ride to the South Rim, and a comfortable room waiting for us afterward. We loved the Steve Harvey Restaurant’s all-you-can-eat setup: not a huge number of choices, but I live in Vegas so I'm biased to buffets. the items they offered were good. The train ride was a highlight—cowboy singers playing guitar through the cars added such a fun, authentic vibe. Service across the board was impeccable. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable—exactly what you want after a day exploring. It was a wonderful trip for me and my girlfriend, and we definitely want to come back. Highly recommend for anyone planning a Grand Canyon visit—this hotel and train package makes everything easy and enjoyable!

We came here for our anniversary to explore Williams & take the train to the cabin. The experience & area were fantastic! The train ride was so beautiful & fun. For food, there were local places that we enjoyed, but we also did visit the buffet diner attached to the hotel for breakfast & it wasn't bad at all. The speakeasy style bar in the hotel was nice, but Historic Brewing Company is unbeatable & quite close. The rooms were a little dated but clean. Not an awful place to sleep, but didn't inspire any excitement by itself. We also visited the indoor pool & hot tub, but they seemed a bit grungy, so we abstained. Very beautiful area tho & the service was great. We had an overall great time!

The Wild West adventure that is the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel was a perfect treat on our road trip around the area. We chuckled at the cowboy shootout to start our day, marveled at the sights up to the Grand Canyon - and of course we were awe struck with the Grand Canyon, which you’ve got just enough time to really experience. We highly suggest the bus tour, that made things super easy and we were guaranteed to be back with just enough time. HOT TIP: You can skip the lunch and tour combo. The lunch is middle of the road at best and nothing special when you have access to other options while you’re up there. We thoroughly enjoyed the domed train cabin and after walking through the other cars were glad we paid the extra money for it. Nancy was our stewardess hostess and bartender, she was lovely! The hotel is a great location and well priced for the bundle with the train ride experience. It’s worth the stay and the breakfast buffet was delish!

We spend one night at the hotel; Morning cowboy show was fun, we had a great time in the train, round trip first class was very comfortable, includes pastries, water, soft drinks, snacks, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, coffee and charcuterie board! Terryl was a great host in our parlor and shared many cool and interesting facts and stories during our rides :) Grand Canyon Village at South Rim was cute! We took the Red Line free buses stopped at every lookout and the GC views are delightful <3

Hotel is nice, service is great. Staff is pleasant and helpful. We did the train ride to GC and stayed the night at maswick lodge. I would say the only negative was when we returned I asked for a 2nd floor room again and was told our bags were already in room. Not sure why I couldn't move them but we just stayed in room they gave note. We did the included food breakfast and dinner. The food and buffet is good but if your not a big eater it's not worth it. If you like eat go for it ! You will have plenty.

Staying at The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel felt a bit luxurious. The Grand Canyon Railway Depot offers a unique and enjoyable travel experience to the Grand Canyon. The train ride provides comfortable and clean accommodations with great entertainment, allowing plenty of time to take in the breathtaking views. At the South Rim, there are various accommodation options available for visitors. The return trip features entertaining 'robberies' by cowboys stopping the train, adding an element of fun to the journey. Upgrade to first class for even more comfort and excellent service, including complimentary snacks and beverages.
Took the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon and it was an incredible experience. The views aren’t the best going there since it’s mostly fields and trees but the crew on board well makes up for it. We were lucky enough to have Mia as our PSA and got to jam out with the awesome Singing Sam. We had plenty of time at the Grand Canyon to explore and see what we wanted to see in the time we had there. We rode coach and it was worth the prices. We brought our own snacks and beers in a cooler back pack but the bar has plenty of options as well. Coach was the best value in my opinion and would definitely come back.

Family of 6 APPROVED! Great way to see the landscape and history of how most early travelers got to the Grand Canyon. We have done many train rides on various vacations. Black Hills, SD. Smokey Mountains, TN. Branson, MO. Etc. This one operates very much on the same format as those. A fun way to travel and gain local experience and history of the area. Pack some snacks, (also available on the train for purchase) Next time it would be great to spend a night at the hotel at the Grand Canyon and see the sunset and rise again. I’d recommend that! The street shoot out in Williams after the train ride was great too!

This was a amazing experience from start to finish. We booked the train ride with the Luxury dome. The seats were comfy the air was cool. The view was amazing. The service and history of the area and by Mike was fantastic. They served juice, coffee and fruit & donuts on the ride out and tea and coffee with a meat tray on the way back with a Champagne toast. Just a relaxing and beautiful trip. Mile provided 5 star service. We had someone come play a few songs each way and a train robbery (not a real one) on the way back. Bring dollar bills to hide , just makes it so much more fun .

Recommend this 100%. Worth every $$. Did the Luxury train ride. Very nice. Had singing cowboys, train robbery, snacks and beverages. Met fantastic people. Loved our train lady, Jenny, she was so awesome. She made the trip so fun.

Train ride was amazing and it was great to see all the scenery changes as we got closer to the Canyon. The women's bathroom on the train has like a lounge area. We're your able to sit on the couch if you need to wait for someone in the toliet area. Toliet area is slightly bigger than airplane restrooms. But the door handle is weird to get out as you need to lift it backwards. Buffet area has a good selection of items & we had different things going up vs going back to Williams. Train ride was very smooth in 1st class car. My sister & her husband went to check the Cafe Car & also checked the Pullman car which is not air conditioned. They said it was also a rougher ride, that the car itself was about 100 years old. Definitely worth taking, was fascinating to learn so much about the train & grand canyon area.

Train travel was easy when boarding and unloading at the Grand Canyon Railway Depot. Every Attendant was friendly, kind and attentive to the needs of their passengers. They helped whenever needed, with professionalism and respect. They interacted well with passengers and exhibited excellent humor.

Drops you off literally a 2 minute walk away from the village. Brilliant location. The whole experience of the train was incredible. From cowboy shows to just great views. The gentleman in our carriage was incredible.
Katie — Google review
The most efficient, entertaining way to reach the Grand Canyon. Our PSA, Teryl, was a wonderful host that was full of stories and historical nuggets during the whole ride. Not to mention, a great bartender. We will be back!!

We stopped by Pete's Route 66 Gas Station Museum on a weekday in May, 2023. It's a really nice place that has some nice stuff. It's located in a nice spot in Williams that make visiting that much easier or nicer. Unfortunately the owner was busy with other folks, so we didn't get to speak with him. So I looked around and took some pictures. The nice lady in the gift shop informed us that you were not allowed to take pictures inside the gift shop for some reason. So I abided by her wishes and just took some pictures of the building and garage section. A nice little place to stop and visit.

Nice nostalgia items. The smell is even notalgic. The entrance is free and it has a small gift shop.

I have been a mechanic by trade most my adult life. I can say that this is the coolest place ever if your mechanically inclined. And the T’s are a good thing as well. Good quality silk screen cotton, not thin crappy iron on stickers.
F E — Google review
Wonderful stop on Route 66! The owner was so friendly and spent some time chatting with us and sharing the story of the little museum. All of the memorabilia in the museum is from his personal collection! There’s also a small gift shop with some great Route 66 souvenirs!

Great place for Route 66 souvenirs. We must of caught the owner in a great mood after reading some of these reviews, because we really enjoyed him telling us the history of the place and history of his car. Prices were reasonable and no charge to enter.

The service was absolutely amazing. We had this younger blonde lady who i believe her name was jaya or jayuh but i could be completely butchering that. She just made the experience absolutely amazing. Had the best attitude and was such a sweet girl. 10/10 recommend asking for her if you go.
Aria B — Google review
We were excited to try Wild West Junction during our family trip to the Grand Canyon, especially after getting a recommendation from a local vendor next door. The place has a cool western vibe from the outside — very charming and tourist-friendly. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t match the atmosphere. When we walked in, no one greeted us. The staff just stared at us until we asked if they were open. They said yes, handed us menus, and told us to seat ourselves — no direction or welcome. It felt awkward from the start. We sat outside, hoping for a more relaxed vibe, but a few people nearby gave us uncomfortable stares that made us feel out of place. We were just a regular family trying to enjoy our vacation. On the bright side, the waitress who took our order was kind. But the food… was hit or miss. My wife asked for a well-done burger, and it came out visibly red inside — she couldn’t eat it. The mac and cheese was extremely salty. The ribs were okay, but I had to add hot sauce to make them enjoyable. On the plus side, the fries and tater tots were good. Overall, we left disappointed. The ambiance had potential, but the service and food didn’t live up to it. I’d rate it a 1.5 to 2 out of 5. Sadly, we wouldn’t go back or recommend it.
Robs J — Google review
The atmosphere is on point. The service.... forgets about you when you're sitting at an outside table. Food was decent. Got a drink from the bar and it tasted like watered downed powerade. If they took tint to improve the drinks and service and really leveled up their flavor profile this place would be awesome. I did love the music
Marvelous M — Google review
Very disappointed in this place. We were excited as we walked in because the old western town atmosphere was so cool. However everything went down hill from there. We were “greeted” by a very grumpy front desk/waitress lady. Told us to sit outside and then took about 10 minutes to get us menus. Meanwhile multiple other parties came after us and got seated and served. Then they delivered our food. Both my wife and son’s meals were missing items from the order. My brisket sandwich was just to giant pieces of fat with no meat. Also we still hadn’t even received our waters and drinks. After further waiting we finally got our food, and it tasted awful. Only bright side was one of the younger waitresses was extremely nice and tried to fix things. Never recommending or returning.
Nicholas D — Google review
The ambiance outside was just truly so amazing we weren't upset about the service and food. To be fair it only looked like 2 servers were working so I'm sure that can get overwhelming and they were super friendly. Our steaks weren't what we asked cooked, and our order wasn't correct. Our waitress didn't write down our order or ask what we wanted to drink, and that should have been a warning but we never doubt the power of a server. We don't make it a habit to send food back and we definitely ate it, but it was a bit disappointing. Had a good experience regardless but some attention to detail could help family's or tourists to justify how expensive it is.

Easily my favorite place to stay in Williams, have been here multiple times in different rooms. The Trapper room was very cool, Gambler room was a bit dated, however rooms were clean, beds are comfy and the showers are great! Staff is all very friendly, and having the bar and full service restaurant right there is nice too. The potato skins are gigantic, enough to serve as a meal by themselves!
Roy F — Google review
We stayed here for the Williams Route 66 car show weekend and I am mixed on the review. The food is always great and the BBQ is really tender and cooked right. It does take a while to get your order taken and your food depending on how busy they are so they get a pass with as crowded as it was for the show. We have been there several times and the food is always consistently good. The room was decent and clean but the AC didn't work very well if it all, the toilet was draining really slow and the electrical seemed sketchy. A lot of people seemed to stand in the back alley to smoke pot, and that is ok but not my thing and I didn't appreciate the smell. I don't know if I would stay there again unless there were no other options. We only choose to stay there so that we could park our show car on the street and be close to our room.

We were headed out when I told my husband to pull over because i saw the giant skeleton. This place is interesting to say the least. A must see tourist attraction. Great for photos and enjoying all it has to offer.

The Planes of Fame Air Museum in Arizona offers a unique experience for aviation enthusiasts. Visitors can see a variety of aircraft up close, including ones with personal significance like those from specific military squadrons. The tram tour provides informative insights about each aircraft, and visitors can also explore further on foot. It's a great place to visit with family and friends who share an interest in aviation history.
Officially closed, Thank God we met Jeff outside and with Larry, he gave us a great tour. They let us go into several planes and had patience for all of our questions. Highly advised. They plan on opening it up for official tours starting this summer. (To note, it's a great way to break up your drive from Flagstaff to the Grand canyon)
Moshie L — Google review
Went today, it says closed but Mike saw us taking pictures outside and was nice enough to let us in and give us the tour. They give tours but plan to open in full in the summer. Great place!
GAIL G — Google review
My first time to the planes of Fame Museum in Arizona. Saw quite a few aircraft that I've never seen up close before. But I never expected to see a aircraft with 3rd Marine Air Wing markings where I was stationed right next to a A7 Corsair with tail markings from my brother's Squadron in China Lake. What a coincidence to have two aircraft side by side one for my brother's Squadron one from my Squadron when we were in the service 30 years ago. Take the tram tour as the guys are very helpful and informational on every aircraft that we asked about. And if you see one that catches your eye after you get off the tram you can walk over to it for closer inspection. I cannot wait to take my grandkids there along with my brother and show him the two aircraft sitting side-by-side from our squadrons.

Two star review ONLY because they have a HUGE variety of items and souvenirs. But again, only ONE STAR because BUYER BEWARE. There are gorgeous local artisan made items from Native Americans-BUT MIXED IN are items made in Pakistan and Indonesia and China….. I spent HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS HERE—— it’s a shame. Make your money from the tourists like me- but this is awful. Don’t prey on your customers—- HUNDRED OF DOLLARS—- and the items aren’t cheap—— $24/26/35/43 per TSHIRT!!
Belle P — Google review
A good stop for whatever before heading out for grander places (aka The Grand Canyon). Easy to spend lots here; there's lots to spend on. Not only gas but good snacks and decent trinkets, too. Not like there's anything wrong with that!
CJ M — Google review
What a dishonest shop! I bought a $5.75 burger and was charged $8. Because there were other people waiting to check out, I didn't ask him directly. After paying with my card, I asked for a receipt, and of course, he was very unhappy. I checked the price tag on the back and was sure I'd been overcharged. I went back to him, but he just let out a fake sigh and reluctantly paid the difference in cash but without a word or apology. Ridiculous!!! Terrible!!!

By far one of the worst convience stores/ stops I've ever encountered.... I hot dog and normal sized slushie was almost $9... the hot dog was DISGUSTING the attitudes from employees was DISGUSTING and rude. If you can save your time and money.

Another great stop for a photo op on the road to the south rim of the Grand Canyon at Mather point. Valle is on AZ-64 and the gift shop is chock full of tchotchkes to memorialize the trip. The vintage police car and hot rods parked out in front of the store evoke a bygone era of the open road and they are nicely kept up- next to the old fashioned gas pumps. Snap a pic next to tweety bird or the T-bird, its all good.
Rob C — Google review
We always make it a point to stop at this stretch before we proceed to Grand Canyon. The classic cars display and the cute little gift shop always leaves us smiling. We also do a pit stop and stretch our legs before the long haul home.
