Couple days ago I was out for lunch when I checked Google to toss me some places to grab a quick bite it shows that this mall has many options. When I arrived I wish I wasn't in break time. Huge parking and inside the mall is huge ,amazing, well decorated, many options of restaurants, at the front cheesecake factory and Italian restaurant, as I was checking the directory there are two sections with restaurants, I went to the bottom floor, and I believe the other section is on the ground floor. Not even one day will be enough to enjoy one or two different restaurants and dessert nor to browse the shops, this mall Is a must try to anyone who does or doesn't live in the Valley even if is just to go and grab a drink and walk around, visit the shops, get some stress away it'll be totally worth it I'm looking forward to go again soon. I'll share something from my quick visit hopping that anyone who doesn't know this place give it a try some day

This is my first time visiting this beautiful museum. I'm happy they protected the museum from the recent wild fire. The artifacts were in exceptional condition. I think next time I attend a group or semi private tour. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. This is a place to relax outside and walk into the museum at your own leisure. It is so serene with the view of the Pacific Ocean in the background.

This place is unreal. The setting along PCH just east of Malibu close to the ocean is amazing. Went late September on a Thursday. Got there at 10 AM as they were opening and stayed a little over 1.5 hours. Parking was easy and $25. Admission is free so the overpriced parking didnt feel that bad. The museum is excellent and has lots of good Greek and Roman paintings, sculptures, and other artifacts. Had an Egyptian exhibit while I was there that was nice as well. But where this place shines IMO is in the building and the gardens. Impressive replica of an ancient Roman palace. So many details done right from the courtyards to the gardens to the galleries to the fountains. All amongst the back drop of the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely incredible. I didn't want to leave! Went to the Getty as well and thought this was even better, which speaks highly of this place. Was less crowded when I went compared to the Getty Center (went to both on same day).

An amazing museum complex, both in its architecture and in its fabulous collection of antiquities. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities high-class, and the art and artifacts on display, and in well-curated exhibits, are exceptional. It's always a top-notch draw for me when visiting the LA area.

The Getty Villa in Santa Monica is one of the better day-adventures we have done in the greater Los Angeles area. The cafe has good Mediterranean food at a decent price (yes, they have beer and wine, too), and the photo opportunities here were endless! If you dig ancient history, architecture, and relaxing environments, this is should be on your bucket list.

A gorgeous place, our tour guide was very sweet and helpful at answering questions, it was so lovely to walk in the garden and look at all the beautiful designs. We were given plenty of time to look around and were even given paper to try and draw some art we liked (although that might have been because it was for a fieldtrip) Overall I'd definitely recommend but to keep in mind for people with younger family it is a greek museum so there is nudity in statues and in art, just something to keep in mind.

While waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, I went over to Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) and chatted it up with Tim who was SUPER helpful with quoting me for an exhaust and install, along with giving insight into a personal wiring project I was working on in my car (Sync 1 to Sync 3 in a Focus ST). They unfortunately couldn't locate a part that I was looking for (it's an obscure and relatively new part, so I wasn't surprised at this), but their insight was enough for me to plan some next steps to diagnose my project and get it working. His advice was enough for me to get it working the same night. I even told Tim I was sick and tired of my dealer plate frames on my car, so he hooked me up with a sweet pair of Galpin Auto Sports frames for free. Awesome! I can't wait to come back here and get my custom exhaust and other performance upgrades installed!

Went there a couple of months ago to put in a bunch of mods for my suspension and a x pipe for my GT350. I had to pay 8 grand for the total work and when I got it back everything seemed fine but the same week of getting it back a problem popped up in the form of a untorqued control arm on the passenger side causing us to miss the track day we had planned. We took it to a local service center where they found the untorqued control arm to the point of it not being attached with how much play it had. What made that situation worse was that when they inspected it they found markings by the tech who installed it saying that they had torqued and double checked it. Soon we saw that the exhaust was visibly miss alined to point that it looked like the rear diffuser was resting on top of them. Then the rear diffuser itself was not properly fitted with the clips connecting it to the bumper being visible. Then the exhaust itself was also poorly done. It appears they had torqued cut the exhaust’s length in order to be able to fit with the x pipe, but they left the tips where they cut it raw with ruff edges jutting out edges and others bent inward. When we got the original part back it was also poorly removed with one metal plate being bent out ward and the exhaust pipes also having ruff cuts and extremely bent making them no better than scrap. They never explained or pointed it out when they gave everything back. Now there seems to be another sound coming from the passenger side again which we will have to go to another shop to check out which will cost us even more than this already has. And to add a cherry on top the alignment they left the car with when they gave it back was absolutely terrible making driving a battle against the road. Overall disappointing and now looking for another shop to make any repairs or future modifications.

GAS is literally world famous. They installed the Roush Stage 2 kit onto my 2020 Supercrew 4x4 Ranger. It is as fast as a Raptor now! Very happy with the customer service. The price reflects the qaulity of work and parts. It is the only dealer I trust with my truck. This beach is a nice and large beach with many tourist attractions along it's length like Muscle Beach and the Pier. It is often crowded, and if you dont come in from the bike path, parking is really tough. The views are nice though, and there is a bikeway along the entire length of the beach.

Beautiful ! Plenty of parking and. not free I paid $15 so....plan your trip Wisely. The beach is really nice and it's a little bit of a hike from the parking to waters edge. Come prepared to walk a bit. Also, choose your bike rental wisely too. I paid $95+ tax for a bike for a good 4hrs. Come to find out there were cheaper options.

I’ve lived in California most of my life, but finally took the time to spend a full Saturday at Santa Monica State Beach—and I gotta say, it’s got a lot going for it. The views are honestly hard to beat, especially if you get there a bit earlier before the crowd rolls in. I parked way down past the pier because, man, the parking lots right by the sand are pretty expensive and fill up fast. You’ll have a little walk, but I didn’t mind—actually kind of enjoyed checking out the local businesses on the way. Once I hit the sand, it was nice and clean, no trash around, and plenty of space to toss a frisbee or just chill. Brought my own towel and umbrella—recommend doing that because rentals are nuts. I ended up near a volleyball game for a bit, and the people playing were friendly enough to let me jump in for a round. Water was cold (like, freezing at first), but after the first thirty seconds you get used to it. I’m not a super swimmer, but the waves were manageable, and lifeguards were on point. Took a walk up to the pier, which is honestly worth the trip whether you’re first-timer or local. Tons of food stands and little shops—got a burger that was solid but overpriced, but so is everything around here. Roller coaster was fun, arcade is slightly run down but still gives you that old-school vibe. Ran into some street performers who were surprisingly legit, and ended up watching a skate demo near the boardwalk. Annoyances? For sure. Restrooms could use a serious deep clean, and if you’re like me and try to avoid public bathrooms, be prepared—most days they’re kind of gnarly by noon. Also, traffic out of Santa Monica at sunset was a joke. Took me 40 minutes to get onto the freeway. Would’ve been nice if cops helped direct more, since lots of folks just stand around blocking the crosswalks and it gets messy. Still, all things considered, it was a killer day. Beach, water, people-watching, and just hanging out with friends with the ocean right there—hard to complain. Deducting a star mainly for the parking and those restrooms but, honestly, I’ll be back. If you can roll with big crowds and keep your expectations set, Santa Monica State Beach delivers the classic SoCal experience.

We can say we walked the pier. It was a bit busy and there were people fishing. Enjoyed seeing the sights looking out from the end of the pier. We didn't go to the amusement park but the kids would really enjoy it i'm sure. Lots of places to eat and drink there.

You’ll see people preaching the gospel, families grabbing food, crowds waiting in line for rides, and vendors selling everything from snacks to souvenirs. Toward the back of the pier, there’s even a store offering discounted Santa Monica merchandise, plus a restaurant that’s relatively affordable compared to other beachside spots. Before you even enter the pier, you’ll notice a cool boat and dragon display. When you step onto the boat and pedal, it makes mist come out of the dragon’s nose — super neat and a fun surprise for kids and adults alike! One thing to keep in mind: there are no foot-washing stations nearby. So if you spend time in the sand, just know your feet might stay sandy for a while. There’s also a workout area if you want to burn some energy or just enjoy the fun beach fitness vibes. Overall, this is definitely a full-day experience and a great spot for family fun. Santa Monica Pier was nice to see once, but nothing too special. It’s a classic boardwalk vibe, but if I had to choose between here and Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, I’d pick Rehoboth. We visited in November, so parking was easy and only $7. The water was cold, as expected that time of year, but it was still a beautiful, sunny day and a fun quick stop.

Enjoyed a nice walk around the pier. Caught the walk before some rain, but that made for a cool breeze and minimal people. A few spots were open along rhe pier but nothing too exciting. All in all made for a good scenic view, a comfortable walk and a location visit checked off. Oh and apparently the seagulls dont mess around.... look at my picture of the seagulls ;p

Nice to walk around and lots of people from all backgrounds. We were entertained and were able to take lots of photos. Having Pacific Park in the pier was cool. We went there with an 8month old baby and found it a bit hard to navigate as pier itself is not pram-friendly and couldnt find any family rooms. If there were, I wish there was signage.

This location is enchanting mesmerizing and has a wide selection of shopping recreation..adventure...beach activities and ample parking. The views of the ocean simply draw you closer to everything including self. The pier..gardens entertainment for all age groups explains the footfalls..so happy to be here..clean serene

Downtown Santa Monica, aka Third Street Promenade, is large open air mall a few blocks from the beach. Pre-pandemic I’d have given third street Promenade a five stars rating, however things have changed a lot over the last years and it is especially true for this place. Unlike a good wine, it aged pretty badly. Many stores are empty and the one opening their doors are somewhere between low quality merchandise’s and bad tourist souvenirs. A few restaurants and bars seem still to attract people. On my side, I still go there to check on the AMC which is often less crowded than other cinemas on the West side or to pass by the Apple Store or the Barnes and Nobles. There is a great potential for this open mall, however they need to do a better job attracting flagship stores and make it a true enjoyable experience.

Still a cool place to visit once a year. They have human-size outdoor games (connect four and chess) and cool rotating? chairs. Still a tourist destination. **Many stores are permanently closed. Parking is much better than before and it's more pedestrian- and bike- friendly. Street performers are still a main attraction.

Great vehicle, plenty of power across RPM range. Very stable despite the tall stature. Roomy enough unlike the American SUVs that drive like boats on wheels and can't corner at 40mph without leaning like pizza tower! Drives like a sedan, accelerates like a BMW 5 series, looks and feels luxurious. The only downside is that you really cannot and should not take it off-road. I mean maybe if you're desperate to try, you can drive it over a few puddles, but nothing more. This is not your Range Rover. It will get stuck like a dog, trust me.

So many stores have closed in this area and looks run down. The whole area stinks of urine and is being overrun by food trucks and make shift carts. No longer a fun family brick and mortar shopping area but more of a street vendor's surrounded by homelessness.

The perfect California evening! We came here for a casual evening and ended up having the most iconic Santa Monica experience. The energy on the pier is just infectious, everyone is smiling, laughing, and just enjoying the moment. We rode the West Coaster as the sun was setting, and the views of the ocean and the coastline were absolutely breathtaking. It was the perfect mix of a fun ride and a stunning vista. We also picked up some cute souvenirs from the gift shop, great prices and a nice memento. But honestly, the best parts were free: feeling the ocean breeze, watching the incredible sunset paint the sky, walking on the sandy beach, and standing at the symbolic end of the historic Route 66. You can just feel the history and the joy here. It's a must-do for locals and tourists alike. A quintessential, feel-good spot that reminds you why we love California!

Visiting this place brought us back to scenes from all the great 80's and 90's movies. We visited this park to specifically ride the roller-coaster, which was a short ride but fun. There are lots of other carnival type games and rides here as well. The Santa Monica Pier makes for a great date night or a place to visit with a young family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great experience at the Getty Center! Visited on a Saturday after 3 PM. Parking was $15 (free after 6 PM), and entry tickets were free—just booked them online. Check-in was smooth, and the tram ride from the parking area to the museum was a nice touch. The place is beautiful and you can easily spend 3 hours or more exploring the exhibits, gardens, and views. Everything is well-maintained, and the restrooms were very clean. Overall, a great experience—definitely worth visiting.

We visited the Getty for the first time and had a great afternoon. I’m not an art aficionado, but we really enjoyed the variety of paintings, sculptures, and other works on display. The museum consists of four buildings, each with two levels to explore, along with beautiful gardens and outdoor sculptures. The views in every direction are amazing. We spent about 2½ hours and moved at a fairly quick pace. Parking is located near the garage just off the 405, and an included tram ride takes you up to the main buildings.

Oh my God — what a breathtaking place. The views are stunning, the architecture is incredible, and the entire experience feels inspiring. The Getty’s permanent collection is truly impressive, featuring pre-20th-century European paintings, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, sculptures, and decorative arts; 19th- and 20th-century American, European, and Asian photographs; plus modern and contemporary sculpture. For someone who has studied art their whole life, this was an unforgettable place to soak everything in and truly enjoy. The sunset view from the building was the cherry on top — absolutely magical. Parking after 3 PM was only $15, and no advance tickets are needed since admission is free to the public. A must-visit.

A memorable experience. After parking, a tramway takes you up to the top of the hill where the Meier designed building awaits, with its light colored stone and white metal covering. The view of LA is to die for on a clear day, nearly on par with Griffiths observatory. Among the paintings, incredible Masaccio, Monets, Van Gogh and Segantini were my favorites.

The J. Paul Getty Museum has an exceptional art collection including paintings, drawings, etchings, sculpture, ceramics, glassware, decorative arts and antiquities from the Stone Age to the contemporary arts of today. I highly recommend visiting to explore its many treasures! The museum itself is skillfully designed in both its contemporary beauty and usability. I particularly appreciate the integration of the architecture, sculpture and creative gardens. The art collection is extensive so you’ll want to pick up the museum’s brochure with floor plan. You may also enjoy the recorded tour or a group tour led by one of their curators.

I live in Venice next to Muscle Beach, so I'm in the bay daily. Overall, it's really nice. It's very big and there's tons of sand. Rocks too on the edges, especially up north near Topanga. Go south and the inner edge into RPV is another planet. Back north and the hiking is world-class (with regard to day hikes). Probably never moving away from this bay. I love this bay so much. Sometimes it gets a little dirty, but we are working on that sorta.

My friend wanted to eat at Thai temple food area. I ordered a set of bbq pork for $5 and stick rice for $1. It is Thailand size but US price. If you want a sauce, it is $2. There are many options from curry, Noodle, bbq grill on the stick, and desserts. The price is more expensive for portion you get but the flavor is good. If you are hungry, you might want to hit Thai town. Parking is difficult if you show up after 10am. There are tables with sanitizer. You have to exchange a plastic money with your cash, it is Cash only. There is ATM at the shell gas station across the street. Bring your own water or there is water for $1.

Came here for the Thai food market, everything was so delicious and so reasonably priced! We stepped inside the open temple too which was beautiful. Our favorites were the crispy pork fried rice from crispy pork station, crying tiger beef, sour pork salad, and all the skewers! But everything we tried was great and such a great value.

I come here every month to give offerings and share my life updates with the Four-Faced Buddha and the Rahu Deity. My prayers have always felt answered, and the atmosphere here is truly uplifting. You’ll often see monks blessing people inside, which makes the experience even more special. I like to bring my own fresh flowers as offerings, and afterward I usually grab a bite at the food stalls nearby. The Thai food here is my favorite — authentic flavors at such a great price! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a meaningful place to pray or simply want to enjoy some of the best Thai food around.

Service was quick; burgers were juicy and fries were fresh. There is a section off to the side where you can sit and eat - we were able to watch the sunset while enjoying our meal. I will be back to try the other items. There was also a hand sanitizer pump by the pick up window.

Service: No real interaction with anyone maintaining the pier but the parking here is automated. The pier uses the ParkMobile app which lets you monitor you parking add add if you going over. I saw staff maintaining the public restroom area so the pier area is monitored. Selection: Lots of selection of restaurants to choose from here at the pier as well as some souvenir/knick-knack shops to make it fun. The restaurant choices range from seafood to Asian to Mexican to ice cream. Value: The range of prices for food and touristy trinkets run the gauntlet of how much you may wish to spend. The beach area is free but the parking isn’t. The ParkMobile app charges a 35 cent service fee no matter your time and 2 hours of parking cost me $4. The parking areas are monitored by staff and police in the area so it is a safe place to park and enjoy the pier.

We've been enjoying the Redondo Pier for many, many years. We've seen all of the updates and transformations over the years. This is a great place to enjoy with your family, friends, celebrations, etc. There's plenty of room for fishing, swimming, sunbathing, flying kites, and bike riding, and they even offer a large game room for those who enjoy the machines. It has a large multi parking structure with handicap parking. Swing by and enjoy the food and music 👍🏼

Love Redondo Beach. Beach area is better than people say, it's lively, good food, snacks and shops. The fish market is my favorite area. Fresh seafood not by expert chefs but worth the experience. I missed the arcade underground sorely

Redondo Beach Pier: a classic! This spot’s got that unique horseshoe shape that makes it feel like you’re walking into the ocean and back. I love looping the whole pier for a walk. easy route, good breeze, and always something random going on. You’ll catch fishermen, live music, little shops… It’s a little touristy but never feels too crowded if you’re just here for the views.

Beautiful place. Definitely not a “beach” you can lay out on, but that’s what I wasn’t looking for. This was just my starting point to exploring the coast, and it was a great place to start. Scenic views, laid back environment. The park has some good grass and a lot of shade. A lot of families were chilling in the park, “picnic” style, just enjoying their Sunday afternoon. Seemed like a really good place to just lay back, chill, and enjoy the scenery. Bonus points for me the day I visited was the gentleman who was taking his turtle out for a leisurely Sunday walk in the park. Lighthouse area wasn’t open on Sunday.

I haven’t been to the very center, but overall, this is a very beautiful place – I highly recommend visiting at least once. There’s a stunning cliff with a view of the ocean, a great walking path along the edge surrounded by beautiful shrubs and flowers, and a bit higher up, there are elegant mansions all the way to the top of the hill, featuring very interesting architecture. I’ve been here both alone and with friends – it’s a perfect place to reflect on your thoughts or enjoy a great conversation.

On a quest to visit as many lighthouses and nature centers. Point Vicente Interpretive Center did not disappoint. The space is big and provides a timeline of the Palos Verdes area from before humans to the natives who first call this their home to colonization and the present day. There is so much to learn from our human history and that of the animal kingdom. When you're done visiting the center you can go on a hike along the cliffs which oversee the Pacific Ocean. One of the best views of the coast in Southern CA, in my opinion. If you're lucky enough you might spot the Peregrine Falcons along the cliffs (fastest animal on the planet). It's free as it should be, but they do have a gift shop. You can support and take a nice item back home, a win win. Most def bring the kids. This place is great for all ages to enjoy.

What a surprise inside. I had no clue what to expect inside. This interpretive center is like a museum focusing on whales and whale migration, and the history and geography of the Palos Verdes peninsula. Excellent exhibits, information, and wonderfully designed. And all FREE including parking. Good for all ages. BONUS: Bring binoculars during whale migration season and possibly catch a glimpse of whales as the travel north or south. Outdoor steps and seating available for your viewing pleasure.

Love this place. I go there every time I am in the Redondo Beach area. Great place to walk around and see awesome views. I am hoping that I will get to see whales one of the times I go, unfortunately I am usually there in the off migration time of year.

The chapel is very cute, occupies a small area, has good greenery, is surrounded by trees, and has abundant grass. You can chat and have a picnic here. The opposite is the sea, a very beautiful place. On the day I went there was a wedding, so the church could not enter, everything was so beautiful, thank God for all the beauty.

This chapel is so pretty and peaceful. It has a little water fountain inside. It’s small and gorgeous and made of glass. It overlooks the ocean so the view is seriously breath taking. Note for visitors - make sure you leave time to see the abalone cove and hike. They shut the gates to the public in the late day and you won’t be able to get in. This is a must see for anyone visiting Rancho Palo Verdes.

Beautiful scenic view by the ocean. Not too busy on a Saturday late morning. Plenty of parking and restroom available. Easy access and just an exit right off the highway. Lots of beautiful botanical gardens and majestic trees. The glass chapel is snugly hidden among the trees, waiting to be discovered as you walk the green filled path. The chapel is inviting, providing a meditative respite for wayfairers. The church bell chimes a peaceful and rejuvenating tune. Behind the chapel is a brick ladened rest area with benches and tree shade where you can rest and take in the fresh ocean air and the sound of breeze brushing through the leaves. Very beautiful, restorative, spiritual place.

Always a peaceful and beautiful visit. A great place to unwind and de-stress. Contrary to Google Maps chosen description, this is NOT a "Christian Church", but they won't let me modify their classification. This is a non-denominational Chapel for ALL, not just those of the Christian faith.

Every time I'm here to photograph a wedding, I'm blown away by the beauty of the chapel. The glass panes let in gorgeous sunlight and it makes for such great pictures. The staff is super friendly and efficient as they're facilitating multiple events daily. The grounds are well kept and clean. The views overlooking the ocean are stellar. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a wedding chapel for their special day!

This mall is huge. It took us so long to walk around. I love the different variety of stores. But I think it’s missing a big nike store. So many food stores, so many restaurants and the outside is amazing. You can go and hang out with your friends and your family. Have a good time. Spend some money and go home with some race stuff.This is my first time here so I’m very impressed.

Del Amo Fashion Center is amazing! It’s a huge mall with all types of stores and so many restaurants. It’s the perfect place to walk, shop, and grab a bite — whether you’re alone or with family. The mall is safe, beautiful, and just a great everyday spot for all your needs. I recently went with my husband, and we spent about 4 hours walking around, eating, and shopping. What a fantastic experience! I absolutely love this mall and highly recommend it. I’ll always go back!

This place gives good deals. 130.00 for 1200 points. Awesome place for family. We spent 3 hours and our grandkids came home with lil toys and candy, even got free balls for each grandkid. They played hungry hippo, rode motorcycles etc. Friendly family atmosphere. Service was available asap. Staff were friendly and understood when my grandson cracked a glass. The only complaint would be handicap parking. Definitely need more spaces. I had to walk a ways to get there in the rain. All in all my family had a great time

This mall is like another world! Not only historical, but also one of the biggest in the world!! This mall offers excellent food, if all different cultural standings. And has everything you need from high quality tailored, to gadgets, and jewelry. Ask to see the private selection if you know what I mean for high end custom jewelry. The service her is always friendly and the place is spotless. Kids love the giant Jenga, chess. And connect four pieces in the courtyard, there is also a train that the kids can ride with their parents! Not to mention some celebrys have been known to hang around. There is also a game of clue always in hand for the sleuths out there! My best friend died here last March, that was her last wish, so I know she's a happy now. Had nothing but positive things to say about this place. It was really cool except that was not here for a basketball game. I was here for a sleep token concert. And the venue was amazing. I don’t think there was a bad seat in the house wherever you were watching your show from. The layout, the decor, the staff work in the event. I don’t know if that necessarily has anything to do with my review of this place, but honestly, we had an all-around great experience with this venue.

Always a great time at Crypto.com Arena! I went for a Lakers game and the energy was awesome as always. Entrance was quick and easy, food court has good options, the seats were super comfortable. You can usually find street parking or use one of the garages nearby (around $40). Great vibes, great crowd, and always a fun night in downtown LA!

It was a very fun experience, but workers could use some more training. We had gotten upgraded to pit after the opener and wanted directions to it. A few workers were walking around, and we asked for directions to multiple staff members. They all gave us different answers, and I believe one even said "entrance 3" (I don't even think it exists lol). Doors opened at 6:32, since they were busy asking people to empty out their totes and to open their bags. I went in line around 5:40, small line, no biggie. Also, tickets are priced lower the day before the concert (just a suggestion; I got mine the day after tickets went on sale).

Went to see GDragon and had an amazing time. The production team put on such a good show. But also the venue is perfect. Seats are comfortable, sound is perfect, the place is clean. Plenty of parking available. Staff members were all very friendly, even if not all of them knew where our seats were. I loved everything about it. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to buy tickets for future events at this venue.

Overall enjoyed the experience here and look forward to going back in the future. I found the concourses to be quite narrow and hard to get around. The food selections were quite different than most arenas, but perhaps fit the local diet better. Saw sleep token here. It was a great arena. Very organized for entry and security was decent. Seats are decent and comfy and obviously the band was great. I’m from Memphis so a bit stricter security than here. Only downside is food is very very expensive and no refills on drinks. $40 for two pretzels and one very small drink.

Wilson park is spacious and pleasant on a day with a breeze. On a hot day with no breeze you may see the fires of hell. In general it is a well maintained relief from concrete and steel unless,...Unless you show up on the day that a homeless gentleman decides to cook a deceased sea lion on a bbq. Google that if you are so inclined. In closing,enjoy the ducks and the mini trains if they are open and if your asada or hotdogs taste fishy,you may have found the wrong bbq.

One of my new favorite places to go. I had visited the park many times over the last 15 years since I was invited to a birthday celebration there and although I live in Carson, it's just two miles from my home. In June of this year I was walking in the park and I heard the sounds of a train. That's when I saw the small train that runs twice a month over that track alongside the south end of the park. I love a train ride. I've told some local residents I know with small children that they should check it out. Last week I was in need of a place to walk that would have shade because of the August heat. I'm getting ready to walk in the Labor Day Parade for 2½ - 3 miles straight so I wanted to be prepared. I did :45 minutes the first day with my sister-in-law, a long time local resident unaware of the park's amenities. I've gone back now for 4 days straight before I saw the signage that has the .91 mile for the walking path which I appreciated seeing and thus confirming I need 3 laps and most of it is shaded by 5p. I love how well maintained the park is and it always feels like a welcoming and safe place whether I'm with someone else or alone.

The Torrance Farmers Market is on Tuesdays. Very fresh fruits and vegetables are available. To be honest, the fruit seems to have less pesticide residue than at other markets. I really enjoy Mushroom Culture for the variety of mushrooms they carry.

I loved it there, if you want to tire down your little ones, this should be your favorite place, one of the biggest parks I have seen, it also offers free train rides. (days are the 1st Sunday of each month (11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and the 3rd Saturday of each month (12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Not forgetting a splash pad, so don’t forget swimming suits for the little ones.

I like to visit the farmer's market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, similarly to Downtown Long Beach on Fridays, and I walk on the tracks for the walkers, runners, and even seniors.

Great walking path (just under a mile distance). A Farmers market pops up every Tuesday and Saturday morning. It’s very popular so come earlier to avoid circling for parking. Great splash pad for the summer, play ground and treehouse are fun, but also get very crowded.

This is a cool park I was here for an open Concert family oriented nice group 😀 good music friendly people I forgot to bring a Jacket and it was Cold good thing we brought 2 blankets a couple of Chairs and don't forget your favorite drink and snacks.

I've played many golf courses in California and other states in this country, when considering a balance of beauty, conditions and service.. this golf course is five stars in all categories starting with the views! If you want a down side to visiting this club than I would have to blame yourself for not being prepared for a tough course, accuracy and placement of shots are a must if your keeping score, I love this course! Its humbling and rewarding with tee boxes that are epic, greens true and fast with gorgeous ocean views. It's a must experience for mid to low handicappers, the service and food is unparalleled for a public use golf course. Bring your A game though, This course offers everything you'd want in a challenge and a fabulous place to enjoy your day on the links rivaling Pebble Beach and more challenging in my opinion.. Just awesome! I will be visiting again!

Dad's day excursion from Disneyland made it all worth while. Woke up early and made the drive to this scenic location less than an hour from Anaheim. Perfect day. Amazing scenery, landscaping, course, conditions and club house. It's expensive and challenging. You will need extra balls because there is no tolerance for errant shots. And even when you hit a good shot, chances are there's a perfectly groomed bunker in play. Abounding fauna on every hole, islands on the distant horizon and a travertine laced clubhouse serving local power brokers and Disneyland dads with equal enthusiasm. Make sure you stay for lunch, the food is as good as the setting and they keep craft beers ice cold on tap.

The Broad is one of the best museums in LA for contemporary art. The building itself is stunning, and the galleries are bright, modern, and easy to navigate. The collection features household names like Jeff Koons, Warhol, Basquiat, and Yayoi Kusama. Pieces here are instantly recognizable and iconic and the collection never feels pretentious, esoteric or abstract which makes the whole experience welcoming for all ages and all levels of art knowledge. Tip: Reserve tickets in advance online, especially if you want to see the Infinity Mirrored Room. Lines can get long on weekends, but the staff keeps things moving and the experience is absolutely worth it. The museum is the perfect size—you can see everything in about 1–2 hours without feeling overwhelmed. Free general admission is a huge bonus, and having Grand Park, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and great restaurants nearby makes it easy to turn your visit into a fun day downtown.

I love this museum for so many reasons. The museum is free all year long thanks to the Broad family 🫶🏻 they opened the museum wanting to share the art they’ve acquired over the years. They have one of the Infinity Mirror Rooms from Yayoi Kusama, a must if you visit LA. It’s rare to find a place with Yayoi’s fixed exhibitions. You’ll have to book a ticket for the museum and the infinity room or just for the infinity room. In the second floor you’ll find art from Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Yayoi Kusama, Jeff Koons between others. Give yourself some time to visit this museum, you won’t regret it.

First off, FREE. Ok now that ive gained your attention, The Broad is a must visit! Closed on Mondays, with free timed entry tickets available online, it offered several pieces of modern artworks from some of today's most popular artists. They do feature a special exhibit which has limited spot availability and becomes available on a certain date each month (free tickets were available for later dates but was unable to see during visit due to no availability). Paid parking garage conveniently located on site (I highly recommend for ease and accessibility to and from).

Fabulous art gallery. It’s lovely that you can reach this gallery without having to travel too far and can see other sights afterwards if you choose (Angels’ Flight, Grand Central Market, etc). The Gallery itself is lovely. One floor of exhibits so not overwhelming but lots to see and experience. Fabulous modern art in an intimate setting. Free admission, just sign up for tickets on line in advance to make it easy on yourself. I’d definitely go back.

The Broad is one of those museums that feels carefully designed from the sidewalk in, and my recent visit made me appreciate how much the architecture and the collection are working together to create a single, very intentional experience. The permanent galleries are bright, clear, and easy to navigate, with major contemporary works given enough space to breathe, so you never feel crushed by crowds or text. I left feeling like I had been walked through a conversation between art, design, and performance, and it made me even more grateful that a space like this exists in downtown Los Angeles with timed tickets that keep the whole experience focused and calm.

Will return. Been here a couple of times but never found a concert we liked until today. The first half of the chamber music program featured modern pieces, and the second half was dedicated to Beethoven. It's interesting to note that they performed in the main hall (only half full), instead of the smaller one. The acoustic is gorgeous. The venue is terrific, especially the outdoor garden. They offered little wine prior to the start, and we chatted with a few female concertgoers. The first two ladies are friends, both widowed and living nearby. They suggested Vespiao for dinner. Then two separate females joined us, one Chinese, who said she's on the board of the Library, and confirmed the homeless people using the bathroom at the Central Library. She also insisted on talking to me in Mandarin. ... and the ride to the hotel afterward, the female Uber driver has classical music on -:) thank you!

Absolutely Beautiful💜❤️🩷The concert hall’s architecture is amazing and the high ceilings structure in the interior is perfect for sound/ acoustics. The seating is perfect at any angle and it has comfortable seating for everyone. The woodwork is beautiful on every level. Gaining entrance to the concert hall is really easy and available on every level of the parking structure and on the street level entrance. There’s accessible parking and seating in this building. There's a gift shop, plus areas to buy food and drinks on each level. There's also a beautiful outdoor dining area and a beautiful view of the city. This building has beautiful structures of art, mesmerizing walk ways, and paths around the sitting areas which lead you to explore. There’s an addition for children to explore and experience the arts with a children's stage. The staff is friendly, efficient and very supportive to help with all necessities and getting you to your seat on time. The performers and performances of all of these musical talents will take your breath away. Gustavo Dudamel is absolutely fantastic and of course including all of the musicians giving their best performances. Just watching and listening to everything made me feel mesmerized and so happy to be able to share this experience with others. If you have the chance to see him conduct with so much passion, please do. This is his last season in Los Angeles.

This is our first time visiting the Walt Disney concert hall. The architecture is beautiful, and the overall design of the building is wonderful. If you have never visited the concert hall, please know that the ORCHESTRA VIEW section is behind the stage so you will be enjoying the music from the bands backside. “Orchestra view”means the view the orchestra has facing the audience. Would not recommend this section even if it’s called “orchestra”. Seating is bench style - not individual seats, so it can be crowded and you’ll be sitting arm-to-arm, literally. Would return but only to purchase seating in the center sections.

What a beautiful place, I don’t think there is a bad seat in the whole concert hall. There is plenty of parking in the underground garage and it is very easy to get up to the entrance. We had a nice experience and I look forward to our next concert. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to take pictures or record video once the concert begins, so I only took a few pictures pre-concert.

Amazing place to visit. I did the self-guided tour and was pretty straightforward. I did it on a Saturday morning and the music hall was open. Super nice!

This was my third visit to Walt Disney Concert Hall. We attended an astonishing performance of Mahler’s 2nd Symphony by the LA Philharmonic. The hall, designed by famed architect Frank Gehry, is a marvel of form and function that needs to be experienced. Tours are available daily. Don’t miss the garden area on the south and west sides of the building. The acoustics in the concert hall are amazingly clear.

The architecture of this building is stunning. It reminds me of the Stata center at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Not surprising because Frank Gehry is the architect for both buildings. Unfortunately, both building seem to share the same challenges. I could not help nut notice that leaking problems occur when it’s raining. We attended Mozart/Ravel the concert by the Philharmonic. It was a great experience, even from the cheaper seats. I recommend combining your visit with a visit to the BROAD museum or the food court at Grant Central. There were photographs and paintings on display downstairs in the back and a trumpet player outside. Great visit and conversation there.

One of LA’s landmarks, a couple of movies were filmed here. A couple of year ago tourists were able to go upstairs but nowadays you can only take a look from the first floor and visit a small art gallery in the back. Either way, it’s worth the visit if you’re nearby.

The Bradbury Building is one of the coolest spots in downtown L.A, it’s over 130 years old and still looks amazing. We took some amazing photos here, the architecture is stunning, old iron railings, open elevators, and tons of natural light coming from the glass ceiling, no wonder its been part of many movies including Blade Runner and 500 days of summer. You can walk into the main lobby area for free, but visitors aren’t allowed past the first floor, Still, the view from the ground level is beautiful It’s right across from Grand Central Market, so you can grab food or coffee before or after. Even if you’re not an architecture lover this place is worth the visit.

Stopped by the Bradbury Building in Downtown LA to snap some photos, and wow, it’s every bit as stunning as people say! This place is a must-visit. Built in 1893 for gold-mining magnate Lewis L. Bradbury, it’s the oldest commercial building in central LA and a total architectural gem. The unassuming brick exterior hides a jaw-dropping atrium with intricate ironwork, Italian marble stairs, and a skylit roof that floods the space with natural light. Legend has it that architect George Wyman, an untrained draftsman at the time, took on the project after consulting his dead brother’s spirit via a Ouija board-like planchette—talk about a wild backstory! His design was inspired by a sci-fi novel, Looking Backward by Edward Bellamy, imagining a futuristic utopia. The building’s been a Hollywood darling since the 1940s, most famously as the dystopian backdrop for Blade Runner (1982), where Harrison Ford’s character hunts replicants in its eerie, shadowy halls. It also played a charming role in 500 Days of Summer (2009) as the spot for the protagonist’s big job interview scene, and it popped up in The Artist (2011) evoking old-school Hollywood vibes. Other films like Double Indemnity (1944) and Marlowe have used its iconic staircases and elevators to set the mood. Snapping pics here was a highlight of our DTLA adventure. The atrium’s beauty is unreal, though you’re limited to the ground floor and first landing unless you’re a tenant. It’s right by Grand Central Market and the Million Dollar Theater, so it’s easy to make a day of it. The vibe is both historic and cinematic, making every shot feel like you’re stepping into a movie.

A truly fantastic baseball experience from a visiting fan (Phillies). Views inside are fantastic. We had first row seats in the 158 Loge level. Food at the main concourse level is great (garlic fries are a must get). Getting in and out was a breeze, and the fans were awesome. Super cool experience.

Rating Dodger Stadium 5 stars because there is nothing like Blue Heaven on Earth! I’ve been coming to games since the early 90s. The only rough part of a visit may be getting back the freeway after a game. DS is such a historic ballpark, but it’s full of great upgrades. There are a lot of great spots to eat, great shops, and wonderful historic/informational displays. No surprise since DS is the third oldest stadium in use as of 2025! You’ll even find placards showing historic events by visiting teams throughout. I love sitting along the third base side of the park to keep in the shade. I like sitting up high so I can see the San Gabriel Mountains (and Mt Baldy), the Verdugo Mountains, and occasionally the rising moon. I recommend a cold beer, the taco platter, and soaking it all in. Let’s Go Dodgers!

An old stadium that just works and has stood up to the test of time! They have so many spots for photo opportunities for you and the family. My one let down was the security gaurd at the gate, he was ultra power trip and couldn't wait to ruin someone's day. Wish I would have gotten a picture hindsight. My buddy was not allowed in with his fanny pack as it didn't fit in the box? He searched it first, then proceeded to demonstrate that it didn't fit, even though it fit. He maneuvered to make it look like it didn't fit and fluffed it to make it look like it didn't fit. Made him walk all the way back to the truck(30minutes away)even after pleading with him. Then when he came back he made him throw away his vape? Been through stadiums and concerts and never seen someone have to throw away their vape. Of course you cannot smoke them but never seen them have to be thrown away. You can even go through airport security with them? There was no talking to this guy so he threw it away(note these are not cheap, around $40) definitely brought the energy down after having start the game experience with this. Some consistency in training and maybe a supervisor readily available in the event there is a question. Just typing this up brings back the level of frustration. Sad. The rest of the experience was dope. Dodger dogs are just part of the experience. Still get to get your ice cream in the baseball helmets and dont forget about the nachos in the bigger helmet! Oh and dont walk to the stadium as the uphill slope is not fun lol. Just park there for $35. (Pro tip)

Everything is amazing about this stadium! Not only are we generational fans, but we are loving the food selections these past 2 years! The drinks are outrageously priced, but probably for good reason! Est seating is behind home plate for sure, it avoids all hours of the sun haha!

Did a tour of the stadium (on the morning they won the World Series!) and had a great time. Our tour guide, James, was excellent. A true professional that knows a LOT about baseball, not just the Dodgers. It’s a great experience to go on the field, check out the dugouts and press area. Lots of history in this stadium.

This was my 2nd time going to Dodgers Stadium and once again I was not disappointed! This is one of the most well taken care of Stadiums that I have been to! The atmosphere is awesome the good is awsome and the crowd and the announcers really hype the place up! Definitely recommend this Stadium to all! Great time will definitely visit again!

Fascinating tours of an iconic warship. There are both self guided and guided tours. You can see most parts of the top decks, the lower decks are closed off. Its amazing how flat out HUGE these ships are. The 16in and 5in guns are still aboard as are the Harpoon and tomahawk missile launchers. a lot of the quarters and messdeck are kept operational because groups can camp there. Knowledgeable staff. Worth seeing!

Really loved the ship! It’s an amazing experience to walk the entire route — from bow to stern. The cannons are especially impressive. From the deck, you can watch other ships passing by. Words can’t fully describe the experience — I highly recommend visiting!

I was thoroughly impressed with this museum! It was clean, fun, educational, has great views of the harbor, and the staff/volunteers were very pleasant. There are a few different tickets you can purchase. We bought the general tickets. We went on a week day. I guess the engine room is open on the weekends, so we didn't get to see that area. Be prepared to walk a lot of short ladders and be sure to watch your head at various locations. The ceilings are short in some spaces and the ladders are tight in some areas. Watch the videos they have playing as there is a lot of history for this ship, including the transformations it went through over time. We spoke with one of the staff/volunteer guys and he filled us in on quite a bit of history and how the ship operates. It's pretty amazing. They provide at the beginning of the tour a pencil and paper for a little scavenger hunt/game for the kids. They offer a little prize at the end in the gift shop. I highly recommend visiting this ship.

Came here March 2025 on a Saturday when they were doing a tribute to police K-9s day. Pretty cool. The museum is quite amazing. Not only is the ship remarkable but also the exhibits and displays inside are fascinating. Right next to the cruise terminal and port facilities, which provided a nice backdrop for this big beauty. Well worth the hour to hour and a half we spent and the cost of admission. Parking was pretty easy and like two bucks.

What a great museum of such a historic battleship. Whether you appreciate World War II weaponry or not, this is a must see Museum. The engineering alone is breathtaking. Walk around the ship and imagine what it was like Back in 1942.

This was a lot of fun especially for the kids... we did the self guided tour and it took about 1.5 hours. It is a part of history that the kids only know about from books and seeing and touching the real thing really gives them a connection to the effort and sacrifice it all took. The place is well curated, maintained and the volunteers are very helpful...

Fantastic place to visit and learn some history. I didn't get to do the tour at that time. I was wearing sandals and that's not recommended for a lot of metal and steep stairs or stairs period. However, I speak to those at the entrance and made lots of conversations talking various topics surrounding the Iowa.

I am currently in a shelter threw Union station I've been a client for 6 months, now suddenly I need to move locations, they have no reasons for why but I have been given a verbal update that every person needs to relocate, from my understanding I should have been given some kind of written statement and some time to prepare to move.

It's unprofessional.When they reach you it's not even anything that important. Please retrain these individuals to be consistent in kindness and considerate.There are also individual case managers/ care coordinator's that like to talk over the client while still speaking. How is that effective communication? Please upper management, address these issues.

Trust some of the staff faculties (Watchers day/night I call them) favorites certain people, certain Staffs wash their laundry for them while the client (person)ain't doing anything, some becomes chummy chummy (Very close) in the office with certain clients (person's ). Be prepared to get sicknesses here too they will place you in a room in the middle of the night while other people who passed it on to you don't receive it at all. Nobody Respects Nobody even if you keep urself (if your friends with them/not).Some of the Staffs or Watchers give certain people a pass to do as they want while other's are obedient to obey by the rules. We were living in a motel and my husband just started a new job but didn't make enough for an apartment or weekly rent for motel. My mother just passed also so we had no where else to go and I didn't want my autistic son living in a tent in the streets so I heard of this place through 211 and was the best decision I made. They gave us a place to sleep. Also help us get a place to live with the help of door of hope. Thanks Union station pasadena.
