A very beautiful and airy place on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur city. The base of these caves is a famous Hindu temple with a historical significance. There’re coffee shops and food joints for visitors to savour before and after visiting the place. There’re two temples on both sides of the compound and more than 100 colourful stairs to the cave entrance. The caves are very old but maintained nicely. There’re small temples in the caves as well. Ample parking space for the place and a very relaxing yet enjoyable scenery from the place. The brass golden statue of the lord is the biggest attraction point of this spot.

Unfortunately the Murugan statue is under restoration work and wrapped up in scaffolding, but still the vibe at this beautiful temple complex around and inside if the impressive Batu cave is worth the visit. Goosebump feeling when slowly ascending on the steep stairs, feeling like back in India. Fantastic. Breathtaking when entering the cave at first and stunned by this huge dimensions.

Visited Batu Caves during my trip to Malaysia, and it was an absolutely fascinating experience that beautifully blends nature, culture, and spirituality. The area is well-maintained with proper amenities, and even though there are monkeys around, the management ensures cleanliness and visitor safety. The nearby smaller caves and art galleries further add depth to the cultural experience, showcasing the roots of Hindu traditions in Malaysia. The staff and devotees are kind and respectful, always willing to guide visitors. It’s easily accessible by train or taxi from Kuala Lumpur, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. Batu Caves is not just a tourist attraction—it’s a spiritual landmark that leaves you with a sense of calm, admiration, and deep cultural appreciation.

Beautiful by day, but extremely hot especially when you have to walk up the several million steps. Gorgeous by night, especially when the crowds have died down after 8pm, the temples start wrapping up and shut at 9, but the area stays open to take pictures till 10pm. Word of warning though, Grab cars can only be booked to the Exit 3 (in the back?), but that exit closes then the temples do, so it's better to head out of the main exit before booking yourself a Grab out - the signage does a terrible job of communicating this.

Batu Caves is undoubtedly one of Malaysia’s most iconic cultural and religious landmarks, and our visit to this impressive site was both fascinating and insightful. Located just outside Kuala Lumpur, the attraction is easily accessible and offers a blend of spirituality, history, nature, and adventure. Although our experience was overall positive, there were a few aspects—particularly the maintenance work on the Lord Murugan statue—that slightly affected the visit. Upon arriving, the sheer size and beauty of the Batu Caves complex immediately stood out. The long flight of 272 colorful steps leading to the main Temple Cave is a defining feature and provides a vibrant welcome. The steps themselves are beautifully painted and make for an eye-catching view, especially when combined with the energetic presence of monkeys and the constant movement of visitors. Climbing them was a mix of fun and challenge, but definitely manageable with short breaks and hydration.

Entry is free. Before you enter itself, You see Lord Kartikeya standing tall and One has to climb 272 steps to reach the top where the Sanctum sanctorum of the God is there. The first level upstairs has set of small temples and we can get offerings to provide. Then there is one more level. Even though it can get hot downstairs, It feels cool once you enter upstairs inside the cave. Beautiful and amazing temple. Monkeys are a menace. Don't keep anything in hand while climbing up esp food. Must visit if you are in KL.

Clean, spacious and colorful; with newly built souvenir shops and spacious parking lot inside...surprisingly the parking fee for car is very cheap, just rm3 per entry. And theres no entrance fee for individual. But u need to wear proper clothing, otherwise need to wear covered skirt for a fee.. Recommended to bring small fan, drinks, and hat. Its streinuous trek up the stair, but then theres cute monkeys to look at and u will be greeted with cool breeze and big cave when reaching the top. Definitely one of the recommended activity to do

Ok this is a tourist trap but not bad value. Use the food court on the first floor but beware the restaurants will charge service fee 10%. Shopping is good and the food stalls outside sell a nice variety. DO NOT take a taxi from here it will be expensive, worst case use grab, the pickup area is marked.

Location - Walkable distance from train station. There are food joints at the side the mall selling fusion & local food. Varieties - Love the mall, so many artistic items , from clothes to artefacts. Amenities- Toilet cost you 50cent per trip, it was clean for local standards. Food - Not too appealing for me on the food choices within the mall. Will be back soon....

IT's one of the most iconic landmarks in Kuala Lumpur and an absolute must-visit for anyone visiting the city. Standing above the skyline, offers 360° panoramic views across the entire city and beyond. The structure itself is Impressive and offers the best views - reccomend to visit at sunset! The interior is not that impressive but offers some history , a sweets shop and some souvenir shops. For those seeking a bit more adventure and not afraid of heights, the Sky Deck and Sky Box are the place. Couple of extra floors up. Stepping into the glass box suspended high above the ground gives an adrenaline rush while also giving the opportunity for some incredible photos. Overall a great place to visit. Unfortunately, to get back downstairs was a nightmare as they had just 1 lift working so we wasted about 30 min of our lives there queueing to get out. I got the combo ticket that included both the Sky Terrace and the Observation Deck at KL Tower. After enjoying the open-air breeze and the stunning, wide-open city view from the Sky Terrace, I honestly regretted getting the combo. the Sky Terrace alone was more than enough! The view of Kuala Lumpur from up there was absolutely breathtaking.

Also known as the KL tower, this telecom structure has a 360 degree viewing platform. Views in all directions are clear and very interesting. There are far more parks and woodlands in KL than ground level exploring reveals. The city is almost surrounded by beautiful wooded mountains.

Visitors can overlook the famous patrons towers, financial tower among other attractions. The tower is more than 100 meters tall and the elevator takes around a minute to reach. They’ve three floors, glass covered deck, outdoor deck and glass bottom box. You’d encounter buildings covered in clouds during rainy days. There’s a shuttle bus taking visitors from the entrance gate to the tower base. The tickets are available at counter available for purchase with either card or digital payment, no cash payment allowed as they’re now cashless. However, you can grab it at a discount of 10 RM if you buy online one day in advance. There’s a couple of food options at the base and an open lawn for you to relax. The hop on hop off bus stop is right outside the lawn and taxi pick service is available too.

Visited the observation deck and the revolving restaurant for high tea. The view of the city and the hills was good before a thunderstorm rolled in and everything just turned white. Being inside a storm was awesome, the tall building was a lightening conductor and I saw it get struck several times. Highly recommend!

Surrounded by nature and cultural attractions, it’s a perfect mix of city views and local charm. A must-visit landmark for every traveler to Malaysia.

Visited this place recently and I must say I found this building quite charming compared to other high towers. We went during twilight and could see the sound and light show as well. People were very well organised and there is a lot of place to sit around too. Loved the vibes of this place and could be amazing to spend the evening here.

Petronas twin towers, more commonly known as the twin towers, is one of the most iconic landmarks in the whole of Malaysia. This architectural masterpiece is truly stunning, mesmerizing, breath taking. It's extremely beautiful, and is massively tall. It almost feels like the top of the tower fades away into the sky. The twin towers used to be the tallest building in Malaysia, but the less known Merdeka 108 is actually taller. Regardless, no one can deny the twin towers beauty. It is the first place we visited after arriving in Malaysia, and we truly had a whale of a time here. I've never seen anything like this in any of rhe other places I've visited in the past. The inside of the twin towers is paid. But the Suria KLCC mall in the first few floors, in the base of the towers are free. We find visit there, the prices are a bit astronomical for my taste. However, for the wealthy travellers, almost every luxury/high end brand we couldn't afford is here! One interesting I must note is the toilets in the ground floor are 2RM (rather expensive) to use. But if you go to the second floor, (or first perhaps), the toilets are free. So save yourself and your family 2RM and go to the second floor and use the toilet for free. It's not that nice though, most other malls had nicer toilets. Regardless, toilets aside, this is truly one of the best views I've ever seen.

The Petronas Twin Towers are impressive from every angle, and during my visit they were lit in bright Diwali colours - an Indian celebration marking the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil. It made the night view especially striking. The skybridge and observation deck are worth the ticket cost, offering clear, expansive views of the city. The architecture carries real meaning too: the towers are based on an eight-pointed Islamic geometric pattern, reflecting Malaysia’s Muslim heritage, and their 1990s construction involved unusually deep foundations and high-strength concrete. Also worth mentioning the beautiful intergration and coexistence of cultures and ethnicities alongside each other that becomes clear as soon as you enter Malaysia. Chinese, Malaysian and Indian ethnicities can be observed having very minimal segregation and it’s amazing to see just how much they embrace one another’s culture and allow time and space for all to celebrate their religious traditions. I’m only dropping one star because of the people at the intersection out front who aggressively try to sell photo services. It slightly disrupts an otherwise excellent visit.

This place has been around since I was in primary school, and now that I already have a kid, it’s still the same. Honestly, nothing much has changed. Price 💵💳 Ticket price is RM48 on weekends and RM44 on weekdays. You can buy tickets online, and they also have a combo ticket for 2 parents and 1 child. The entrance line can be long whether you buy online or walk in, you’ll still queue in the same lane. For online tickets, you’ll need to show proof with your MyKad and MyKid. Babies under 2 years old enter for free. Environment 🪼 The place isn’t very spacious, but there are plenty of fish to see. Facilities are okay, but they could really use some improvement because nothing seems to have changed in decades. Parking🚗🚕🚙 For parking, you can park at Suria KLCC and walk through the connecting link between Suria KLCC and Traders Hotel. If you’re at Suria, find the Maybank inside n next to it, there’s a passage that connects directly to Aquaria. Alternative Parking🚗🚕🚙 Alternatively, you can park at the Traders building itself and go up to Level C, or at UOA Open Parking which is about a 5-minute walk away. It’s easy to spot, and parking there costs RM10 per day.

We visited Aquaria KLCC on 29 October, myself, my mom, siblings, and their kids. We had a great time overall! The kids were really entertained, and we truly enjoyed the exhibits and the entire walkthrough. Just to share some feedback for future visitors, I noticed on the website it says the elevator is under maintenance until further notice. Since Im not too familiar with the layout, I thought it referred to the escalator near the entrance. We purchased our tickets online through Klook as planned, but upon arrival, the staff kindly explained that the elevator issue meant we would need to use the stairs between floors. Unfortunately, we had strollers with us, and there were no lockers to keep them, so we had to carry them by hand. Not really a big problem, but it would be super helpful if the website announcement included a photo or a short note explaining which elevator is affected, that way, parents or elderly visitors can plan ahead. Also, a huge thank you to the team for their kindness! Especially the lady near the escalator and Danial at the entrance, they were both incredibly helpful and understanding when I accidentally scanned one extra ticket (for my dad who didnt join the trip). They handled it very professionally and made the whole experience smooth. Despite the small inconvenience, we loved our visit and will definitely come back again for the in adventure!

The aquarium is well organised and clean, with a good flow from one zone to another. The underwater tunnel was the highlight, walking through it while sharks and stingrays glide above is an amazing sight. The staff were friendly and helpful. The environment is fully air-conditioned, which makes it a comfortable stop in the city. It’s also stroller and wheelchair-friendly and easy to access from Suria KLCC or the Convention Centre. It can get a bit crowded during weekends, but visiting early in the day helps. Overall, it’s a great place to learn about marine life and spend about one to two hours in Kuala Lumpur. Definitely worth visiting!

Had a wonderful time at Aquaria KLCC! The entire place is beautifully maintained and gives you a magical underwater experience. From colourful fishes to sharks, stingrays, jellyfish and many unique species, every section is truly fascinating. The 90-meter tunnel walkway was the highlight — it really feels like walking under the ocean! The ambience is calm, the exhibits are well-organised, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect spot to visit with family, friends, or your partner, and you can easily spend 1–2 hours exploring everything. What I didn’t like: The food court outside didn’t have good vegetarian options, which was a little disappointing. Also, the photos they click inside are quite expensive, so keep that in mind before purchasing. Overall, it’s still a must-visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur if you love marine life and want a relaxing, fun experience. Worth visiting at least once!

The experience was truly worthwhile and will definitely be coming back again! To those who are interested, I recommend going when you or multiple of your family members are celebrating your birthday on that month to get FREE ENTRY. Not just recommended for tourists, but also for locals. The place is undescribable and you'll definitely want to come again after your first visit. Also, best to visit during weekdays because it's always a full house here for sure, especially on the weekends.

My recent visit to the aquarium was a short but incredibly positive experience, providing a much-needed break from the everyday hustle. ​The highlight was standing in front of the massive ocean tunnel tank. For a few minutes, everything else melted away. The deep, calming blue of the water and the graceful, silent movement of the stingrays gliding by felt truly meditative.

The aquarium in the center of Twinter has many uniquely shaped and bold tanks that really caught my attention. You can see impressive fish like Biracle and Villania from various angles, making the whole experience feel like a little adventure. It’s a fun and exciting place, and I truly recommend visiting it.

A beautiful park right in front of the Petronas Towers .it’s incredible to see a fountain show set against the backdrop of towering skyscrapers in the heart of the city. The park is super well-maintained, easy to access, and has plenty of spots to sit and relax. Grabbing a coffee from Suria Mall and watching the fountain show here was the perfect way to unwind and refresh.

Definitely worth your time to walk around the park. Take lots of pictures of the plants and trees. Water fountain display turned on about mid afternoon and was pretty good. Large park for children and wading pool. Amazing sitting in the middle of gigantic buildings and feeling comfortable. Enjoyed a couple of beers, sitting down and people watching.

An awesome, really well-kept park—super green and full of trees. There are plenty of benches where you can sit and relax. It’s the perfect spot to just hang out. And if you’re into running, there’s a jogging track laid out all around, which I’m pretty sure was designed just for that. It’s also a great spot to catch a different view of the Petronas Towers. If you’re bringing kids along, there’s a splash park where they can have tons of fun, plus a playground to keep them entertained.

Very beautiful park in the middle city of Kuala Lumpur. Especially when you come to this downtown park on a sweltering afternoon. The clear fountain lake winds through the lush tropical greenery, bringing a sense of coolness and calm. Whether you sit down for a short rest or take a leisurely stroll, the whole place feels wonderfully comfortable.

The playground at KLCC Park is one of the best in Kuala Lumpur! It’s huge, well-maintained, and filled with a wide variety of play equipment like slides, swings, climbing structures, and bridges. Right next to it, there’s also a wading pool where kids can splash around safely, which makes it even more fun. The area is surrounded by trees, so it feels shady and cool even during the day. Parents can sit on benches around the playground while keeping an eye on their kids. What’s even better—it’s completely free! This is a perfect spot for families visiting KLCC, especially if you want your kids to play and burn some energy after exploring the city. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists with children.

Please visit Alor Street if you're looking for multicultural food, especially seafood & durian✨ The food is quite good but not really that fancy. The crowd is a bit overwhelming for me but I always come back here again‼️

The Main Street is hectic and expensive. Go back a couple of streets, get away from the hordes and you will find great food at half the price. The Indian place in the photos is a ripper but there are a few Thai places close that are well priced too.

A must go! Atmospheric, full of energy, a unique experience. Visitors will have trouble choosing which restaurant to go to. There are touts everywhere. Be prepared to sweat it out, but hats part of the experience!

It has changed so much since I have visited more than 20 years ago. It has became just another tourist place of visit and not longer the food heaven that I have remembered it to be.

Everyone said this was the food street of KL and there was lots of food there.. But I would struggle to return, loud, dirty, bright flashing signs everywhere and quite a few rats on the side streets by the overflowing bins. Did find a OK place to eat, probably one of the better ones but would not return. A lot of the food appeared to be mass produced food for the masses and not that authentic. Did and would recommend choosing a quieter 'more local' eatery.

Challenging hike but very rewarding. The trail can be muddy, so go prepared. The views and cool air at the top make it all worth it.

Great trail...hard but doable hahahaa..with my speed need 1 full day to complete.. The best part was soaking in the river+ waterfall.. Will I go again? Maybe..maybe not 😫

Lovely trail from Janda baik, clear and somehow easy for regular hiker. Took around 3 hours to reach the top, enjoy the interactive with those cute little squirrels at the peak and chill at the Chemperoh Waterfall with buddies.

Good full day hike to and fro. Need to start early before sunrise if you are a beginner like me. Bathing and washroom maintained. Like!

Visited the Pink Mosque (Putra Mosque) in Putrajaya and it honestly took my breath away! The place is huge and beautifully designed — the interior is spacious, peaceful, and filled with stunning Islamic architecture. The soft pink domes and intricate patterns make it one of the most unique and elegant mosques I’ve ever seen. The maintenance and cleanliness are excellent, everything feels very well cared for and organized. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially in guiding visitors on proper etiquette. For ladies, robes are provided at the entrance to ensure respectful attire before entering — it’s a nice touch and makes the experience inclusive for everyone. The atmosphere is calm and serene, perfect for quiet reflection or just appreciating the beauty of the design. The soft pink tones and impressive structure really make it stand out as a landmark mosque in Malaysia. Definitely a must-visit spot in Putrajaya — whether you’re there to pray, sightsee, or simply admire the architecture, it’s an unforgettable experience!

A truly beautiful mosque with its stunning pink interior, they even provide matching pink mukenah for prayers, which I found really thoughtful. The mosque is well organized, with a designated area for Muslims to pray and a separate section for visitors that shares insightful information about Islam. When I visited, the atmosphere felt calm and respectful. I also appreciated how respectful the non Muslim tourists were, wearing the covering robes provided as a sign of courtesy while inside the mosque.

It’s a nice short stop to take a breather and snap some pictures. During public holidays, cars tend to park along the first lane, so be cautious, especially if you’re not familiar with the Putrajaya area. Underneath the bridge, there’s a beautiful view and a park where you can walk, jog, or cycle. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a great view of the fireworks.

A very beautiful bridge. Since we took the train to Putrajaya, we could walk slowly and enjoy it. We even walked far away to take a complete picture of the bridge. We can also see the floating mosque in the distance on the bridge, which is great for taking photos👍.

Beautiful spot, especially at night! You can walk or rent a bicycle from the bottom of the bridge at Ayer@8, there are plenty of options available. It’s a great place to move around and enjoy the views around the lake. Peaceful atmosphere and perfect for a relaxing evening.

One of 8 bridges, maybe 9 or 10 if you count the pdestrian and monorail bridge under construction, i believe, in the Putrajaya lake precincts. I wish they built a bicycle path at both ends rather than have us walk our bicycles up and down this bridge. The walkway down at the Precinct 8 end of this bridge is quite steep. The bridge lights up at night offering a spectacular photo!

You keep ‘winning’ awards -but for what??? Awards don’t mean anything if you cannot get simple things right. I have to charge standing at empty counter which looks like an information desk/counter. Do your job right. You charge us passengers fees which is paid via the airline when we buy tickets. Do your part by providing proper professional service. Don’t just keep taking care of retailers.

Wear full length covering, the shrubbery here is no joke. The new path is steep but safe, great hike to see the sunrise and feel the morning breeze flowing into the scenic Briga/Semenyih valley. Grab a refreshing coconut ice shake and a satisfying bowl of noodles right after your descent! (Thank me later ;)

During after rainning stop we will mostly get cloud carpet.. this place is awesome to be with .n its free. No need to pay. Go the right exit. Dont go to the payment counter . As we not allowed there. N road are worse. Bypass the gate n fencing. Go straight n up

Superb experience for the beginners. Once u start. U will start looking another mountain to hike. The top panoramic view make u feel very free. Just below than 1hour u can reach at stage 1. That's I've go with 3years old kid.

Nice place and short drive from KL. A good weekend outing to get refresh yourself. I went on 25/12/2020 and in the entrance they placed a notice saying entry ie closed from June 2020 yet lot of people going in. So we followed them and roads a bit rusty as it closed for months. But had a nice experience. Go to hill foot by 5 to 5:30 AM and trek takes give Or take 60 mins so that you can have nice and fresh air and sun rise. There are multiple ways lead to hill top and if you are trek enthusiast then there is a path where you need to a moderate climb(assisting ropes are available) Things to carry, torch/head light. Water(mostly they sell if hill is open for visitors but for us No as such as its closed for CMCO), and limited car parking. I heard that Usually they charge RM 1 + RM 1 but today we were charged us RM 10/pax by saying CMCO & SOP practicing. So prepare for that extra payment if you are planning in CMO time. And its definitely not a family outing place so avoid kids, elderly, who has issues with heart or knees issues and who don't appreciate the beauty of Nature. Attached some photos to convince you that, must visit one before you get 40. 😉

Broga hill located at semenyih. During rmco need to pay rm1 per person for parking, rm1 per person for entrance fee. Need to scan temperature and write down detail before hiking. Weekends more people will go hiking, but we are lucky because we hike during weekday, and less people on weekdays. Some part not easy to hike, need to use rope to climb, we only manage to go until 2nd peak, no more stamina to go 3rd peak, maybe during mco we rest too much, so a bit lack of breath and stamina when we go hiking. Bring sufficient water to dehydrated yourself.

Going up was alot easier than coming down. Good place to hike, not when it's raining tho. Some dogs are up on the second level but they're very tame and polite, perhaps bring along some food for them if anyone wants to hike up there's.

Limited parking within premises, so be there early. They open at 10 a.m. Tickets was RM 2 / adult. Beside the ticketing counter was a green screen backdrop for them to take your photo which will edited to the museum background, printed 1 large & 1 miniature sized for RM 60 as a souvenir, ready to collected when you leave. There were some decommissioned feet of planes, helicopters, armoured cars, artillery cannons, bikes, trains & monuments on display in the yard. Inside the gallery area is air conditioned with antique weapon of wars & historical narration on display. My first visit and is recommended place to visit.

Really impressed by the place! Entry at RM2 for adult. Limited parking, just park by the road side or opposite the place at near residence area. The place is interesting with indoor displays of gallery and an underground walk of the CPM communist party of Malayan history. Many showcase of the weapons, war machines like tanks, helicopter, even train. Spent more than an hour at this place. If really keen into the history I think you can have 2 or more hours here.

Here’s a concise 200‑character review: Free entry with RM 2 fee since Jan 1 2025. Outdoor tanks, helicopters, military gear, indoor galleries on Malaysian Army history, plus a recreated tunnel. A fun, educational hidden gem. 

Great place for learning, very under rated museum. They introduced and explanined alot about the ATM tha wasnt taught in history classes in school. Galleries were sectioned into few categories ranging from Melakan Sultanate, British and Dutch colonisation and also the Malayan troops. They also introduced the generals as well. Many weapons, artifacts, documents, tanks etc were showcased. It would be better if the poster had english explanations as i di see some foreign tourist struggling to understand without translation. Overrall recommended to visit esp with teene or young adults

Didn't know there is a Soldier Muzium here in PD. Was recommended by the locals. My kids get the chance to know more about the History of Malaysia and get the touch those gigantic artillery vehicles, antics weapons and feel the war times. Good place to learn.

Excellent museum and nicely maintained, except for the ladies toilet at the main building was no accessible on the day of our visit. All other toilets were also locked. Finally found the toilet at the auditorium which was very clean.

Really affordable ticket fees. A lot of things to see inside! There are armor vehicles, planes and guns! And also historical information. Very educational and eye opening. 👍 Only problem is not enough parking.

Animal feed is available for purchase at RM9. + There are tons of fun family activities here like feeding animals, playing with guinea pigs and rabbits, riding a pony at Cowboy Place, cat's home, and checking out the dinosaur village. + It's not just for fun. this place educates us about animal life habitats. The staff will help you out with explanations. + Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. + If you wanna try Sate Ostrich, you can also order it at their Café. + The restroom is accessible. Additionally, there are ATV and archery activities, but I am unsure of their availability. It seems they may not be well maintained. The same goes for their herbal oasis. All in all, it's a fantastic spot for family fun when you're in Port Dickson. Don't forget to bring an umbrella since we'll be walking around in this open area.

One of the must-go destination when you are going holiday in Port Dickson. Although it is named "Ostrich Farm", there are also lots of animals such as guinea pig, farm animals, and even cats and dogs. There are even some events there such as Ostrich Race. Moreover, you can also hand-feed them, but you need to add on extra money to buy their foods. Overall, I had an enjoyable moment there. Recommended 👍

Quite different from the few years ago picture which shared on review. The farm doesnt seem to do so well. Anyway my kids enjoyed the farm since they grew up already. Great exposure for todays children. Desaru farmhouse seem to have better upkeep. Cant see myself to hit the 4th star.

There's ostriches, roosters, rabbits, goats, guinea pigs, horses and cows to see. Animal feed is sold separately. Overall enjoyable experience, just a bit dirty, which was expected.

Fun place to bring your kids! You can spend around 1 to 2 hours as the place is not that big. Theres ostrich, goats, snakes, rabbits, chickens, snakes, cats and dogs. Theres also a paid train ride. However it seems that some of the facilities are not well maintained. But still a great place to go! You can get the ticket at the counter.

If you're benchmarking with other established park this will not be the place but if you have kids and 1-2 hours spare time, things could be fun and relaxing here.

Outer side looks rundown but thats what makes it looks less commercialised. We were greeted with a bunch of goats thats where we can exposed the children to the authentic farm smell. Next theres a few healthy looking ostriches and an instructor that was so dedicated with the knowledge of ostrich explained patiently to us about the farm animals. I can see the uncle really sayang her ostriches. My girl enjoy the feeding of animals a lot. There was a 11.30 show, added to the fun was a few excited children decided to race with the ostriches. Of course the ostrich won. On top of that i also do see 2 vet personnels were checking on the animals, can see well maintained. Highly recommended to children or to whoever that comes to PD. We spent about 1 hour plus here.

My very first mountain hike! Overall, it wasn't too bad—just don’t look up haha. You’ll need supportive members, and there aren’t that many incredible views along the way. But at the peak, there are lots of great spots for OOTD photos 👍🏻

Easy to moderate hike. Clean and has a good trail. Some parts can be slightly challenging. Bring enough water and enjoy the hike.

Free Parking but entrance fees RM 5. Renovated toilet, surprisingly provided free shower 😆😆 Quite easy and comfortable with windy day.

Although the elevation gain is 827meters its not that taxing because of the 4km distance and thanks to the dense forest for shade and breeze. The ticket counter opens at 7:30am and its good time to start your hiking so that you can be back before lunch time. The view at the peak is not 360 due to trees but you can still have a look at the mountains.

Nice trails for a Sunday hike: we went up the hill from the Northern side, seems a very popular trail in good condition (when it is not raining). It took us about 2hs to reach the peak. After a little break we went back into the valley using the trail into North-East direction. The trail is a bit more difficult. To get back to the starting point we had to walk about two kilometres along the busy national road. In total, it took us around 5hs (2hs up, 3hs down), plus an additional hour for relax and recharge at the peak.

A Peaceful Walk to the Lighthouse Walking through the forest trail to reach the lighthouse was truly a refreshing experience. The path itself is surrounded by beautiful greenery, and the air feels clean and calming, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination. Although I was a little disappointed that visitors are not allowed to enter the lighthouse (as the security staff mentioned), the walk itself made up for it. Along the way, you’ll find several hiking paths branching off into the forest, perfect if you enjoy exploring. One of these trails even leads down to a quiet beach, which adds an extra layer of adventure to the trip. The entire area is free of charge, which is a wonderful bonus for anyone looking for a relaxing outdoor activity without spending anything. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to enjoy nature, unwind, and take in the surroundings, even if the lighthouse itself remains off-limits.

Not bad at all. Just very short walk to get to the light house, the view in photo. Walkway is properly tar also mostly covered with trees so it is very friendly to anyone even for the kids. Free entrance for now. Parking can be limited. Oh and there are so many beaches nearby, with different view. Happy exploring.

Was not expecting a hike - about 700m or 800m to the lighthouse which ended up not being open. I encounted some monkeys on the way up which seem to be eating and minding its own business. There were multiple hiking trail that leads down to the beach. The light house was ordinary. Recommended to hiking fanatics.

For first timer, the view of the lighthouse is quite impressive. However, at the base on the lighthouse as per the view towards the horizon is just mediocre as it has been blocked by trees and branches. Was told 30 years ago, the view was stunning. There were no trees. Only rocks. Now the trees were overgrown.

We came for hiking the jungle trail. It was quite tough with several uphill sections which will leave the average guy breathless. Going up the Batu Putih formation was quite a challenge as one has to pull oneself up using the ropes provided. Coming down was especially unnerving. But the scenery of the sea and during the walk was spectacular. The lighthouse was built in 1863 and was very nice. The walk started at Villea Hotel car park and took us more than 3 hours

Great place for mini hiking (120 above ground level only). Elevated not too steep either. Distance less than 1km up the mini hill. There are few jungle trails, but we didn't try. Lighthouse was built in 1863. Very historical and meaningful. Too bad, can only view the lighthouse from outside.

Been here before, few years back maybe 5 or years ago. It used to be better. It's another good example to demonstrate the importance of maintenance and proper maintenance. The outlet is ageing. Most of the shops in there need a major face-lift to demonstrate that it's a premium outlet. Washrooms are good indicator too.

Not a bad place. 4km detour from the tool. I didn't come here for shopping but rather just to kill a few hours before going to airport and lunch. Nice design and well kept quiet place on weekday working hours. Interesting point was the Coach shop in a b747 airplane.

We stop by this Outlet just by chance, as we were passing by on our way back from attending a wedding reception. Obviously, my wife just HAD to drop by... The Outlet Building was only one floor, but sprawled over quite a huge area. The design seemed to be of Dutch Colonial themed or inspired, and they looked quite magnificent. I was impressed by the giant windmill located in the centre, which was a major attraction for the visitors. There was also a carousel or merry-go-round, but was not patronized somehow. Most visitors appeared to be contented to just sitting around, soaking in the festive atmosphere... The Chinese New Year festive feeling was still in the air. Hence the patrons were mostly chinese families, who had come here as part of their holidays and celebrations. There was also a malay wedding ceremony happening at the Banquet Hall, with various mix of people attending the event. Other than that, I didnt see much shopping going on, or maybe it was because the CNY sale was already over?

Interesting experience. Reasonably cheap compared to the usual price for certain things. I enjoy the shopping experience, and my kid loves it too.

Poor selection of shops. Quite a small place and is out of the way from the north south expressway. There aren’t much bargains. Parking is ample.

The Malacca River is such a beautiful spot, especially in the evening. Walking along the riverside is relaxing with all the colorful lights, cafes, and murals that bring the area to life. It’s scenic during the day too, but at night it feels extra magical. Definitely one of the must-visit attractions in Malacca.

Sungai Melaka is a fun place to visit, especially for a river walk or boat ride. It can be very hot during the day, so bring water and a hat. The views are nice, with colorful buildings, street art, and cafes along the river. Best to go in the evening when it’s cooler and the lights come on. A relaxing and beautiful spot to enjoy in Melaka.

Have a lovely leisure walk along the Malacca River in the late afternoon. There are some souvenirs and beverage shop open. Clean and tidy pedestrian walkway with some awesome painted murals on the building wall.

I have visited Melaka a number of times. It was one of our family's vacation spots. The river was something I had never given much thought to until I watched the movie Entrapment a few years ago. My curiosity was piqued, and I paid a little more attention on the river's beauty this time. The river is most beautiful to behold in the evening when there are boats selling passes and night lights along the river. A Pawsitively Perfect Husky Haven! If you’re a husky lover (or just a dog enthusiast), The Huskitory in Melaka is an absolute must-visit. From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by how spotless the space was— clean and well-maintained interaction area. The huskies themselves are stars here. Each one is happy, well-groomed, and surprisingly calm—even during playtime! They’re clearly well-socialized. What truly sets The Huskitory apart is its team. The staff are not only friendly but knowledgeable about every husky’s personality and history. They took time to share stories about each dog, answered all our questions, and even gave tips on interacting with them safely. If you’re looking for a heartwarming, stress-free experience with some of the most beautiful huskies around, The Huskitory is worth every minute. We left with a pocket full of photos and a huge smile. 🐾

Highly recommended! First time experience at Huskitory. Staff was so friendly and helpful at explaining and handling the husky they look after. Great service from mahesh and Jane. The dogs were also so well behaved and friendly. Food can be purchased at 3 packs for Rm5 or 1 pack at Rm2. Phototaking services also available from Rm35 to Rm55.

At first, the experience seemed nice, but it quickly felt very orchestrated. The music was far too loud, and we just wanted a relaxed time with the dogs. Unfortunately, the dogs were made to “perform” constantly for photos instead of being allowed to rest naturally. We were also repeatedly asked to buy treats, and even after saying no, they still brought out puppies. One older puppy (just a few months old) was given to me, and a brand-new baby was placed with my sister. When the attendant told us to “move closer” several times for a photo, the older pup suddenly bit the baby’s ear, taking the tip off. It was an awful moment, and we left soon after, hoping both pups were okay. One of the dogs also had its toenails cut extremely short, which looked painful. It’s also worth noting this isn’t actually a café — there’s no coffee or food served. We were given cold water (which was appreciated) and the air conditioning was good. The majority of the dogs were lovely and well-behaved, but overall the experience felt more about photo ops than genuine animal care or guest comfort.

Lovely cosy place filled with lively and energetic huskies. You get an hour to enjoy with these fluffballs. Ain't too far from the city centre.

To be honest I think the price is quite pricey and the treats weren’t included, rm2 each pack. Many of the huskies were quite aggressive and only come to you if you have treats. Photo in frame were excluded (RM35-55) . The time felt very fast and many of the dogs were tired so they just sleep on the floor

I had a fantastic experience at Huskitory! The facility is well maintained, creating a clean and welcoming environment. Playing with the huskies was incredibly fun, they’re so friendly, energetic, and well-trained. Time really flies when you're spending time with these adorable huskies. Highly recommend for anyone who loves dogs and wants a memorable, enjoyable experience!

Very well maintained heritage museum. The introduction was short and simple but enough to tell the do's and don't. Staircase to the second floor for further viewing is a bit steepzl, some may not like it. I don't recommend for children less than 4 years old. At least child is able to understand and don't run around. Photography is allow, BUT NO FLASH! QR codes to scan to learn more. There's also a souvenir shop just before you exit the house.

What a great museum! The personnel was very polite and helpful and the museum is very well kept. It wasn't very busy when we went and we could thoroughly enjoy the house. We particularly enjoyed the audio guide, which added a lot to the experience. There is even cold water available to fill up your water bottle.Highly recommended!

A well preserved house turned museum in Melaka!! The place is located in the heart of the Old Town and very accessible by car or foot. And, the museum is still owned and managed by the family. The museum offers a glimpse of Baba & Nyonya life back in the old days. You can follow their story by listening to the audio guide that you can access from your mobile. Each story is short yet packed with information. The ticket costs 25RM for foreigners.

Visited this place on a Saturday and it was packed with visitors, especially tourists from abroad. The house’s structure reminded me a lot of my grandfather’s home built in the 1900s, featuring many similar design details, including a hidden opening hole on the first floor that overlooks the main entrance downstairs. Entrance fee is RM 25 per adult. Overall, it’s a great spot to explore the rich customs and heritage of the Baba Nyonya community in Malaysia.

Beautiful and splendid museum exploring the local history of Peranakans in Malacca through the lens of a prominent Chan family. Adult tix costs only 25MYR and we spend a good 1h+ exploring the (surprisingly vast) museum and listening to the Audio guides. It was also a welcome reprieve from the heat!

We went here for a culture and heritage. If you go to Malacca without visiting Jonker, then you are not really visiting Malacca. The market is quite long and have a lot of items available from foods, souvenirs and clothes. Beside hawker stall, few shops are also open. The vibe here is very nice, lot of people, crowded but it's good tho. Parking can be struggle around this area so make sure to plan your arrival well. From here you also can walk to others historical spots like afamosa, makam hang kasturi, museum, menara jam and stadhuys. Some items here are quite rare too. The view are also very nice, classic architecture and wonderful experience

Only active from Friday to Sunday, from morning until late night, but absolutely worth planning around. I had the pleasure of experiencing the place both during the day and at night, and it was incredible each time. It’s a wonderful place and a fantastic experience — an absolute must if you’re in Melaka. There’s so much to see, eat, drink, and shop. It’s a shopper’s paradise with unique goods, amazing food, and incredibly low prices. Overwhelming in the best way possible, with endless options and choices.

An amazing place to visit especially during nights. A lots of vendors. You can enjoy the view, tricycle and many more. Its quite crowded during night but it is worth the walk.

Lovely architecture when in the square. During the day it looks really nice, at night, there are lots of lights and vehicles which light up. Sometimes the vehicles can take up a lot of the square and you will be asked 100 times if you want a ride but aside from that it's a nice visit. Only takes around 15 minutes to look around

You can still see inscriptions and old carvings on the walls that tell stories of people who once prayed and lived here long ago. The most amazing part for me was the view from the hilltop. You can see the entire Malacca city, the Straits of Malacca, and even the distant modern skyline blending with the red roofs of the old town. It’s a perfect spot for photography — especially during sunrise or sunset when the sky turns golden and the city lights begin to glow. What I also loved was how well-maintained the area is. The surroundings are clean, the pathways are safe, and local guides or signboards give clear information about the church’s history. Even though it can get a little crowded during weekends or public holidays, the place never loses its peaceful vibe. It’s ideal for both history lovers and tourists looking for a calm and meaningful experience. There’s no entrance fee, which makes it even more welcoming. For me, it was not just a tourist visit — it felt like stepping back in time and connecting with history. Oldest European built building east of India. A palpable piece of history. All that remains are the church walls; the roof has long since been destroyed. The climb up to this church on its hill is doable, not very arduous for those who can climb 3 to 4 stories of stairs. Unfortunately the ambience is marred by blue tents of vendors selling tourist trinkets, and the crowds of tourists during the weekend. If you go during the quiet hours, you can sit among the ruins and reflect over its long studied history and the march of time.

Heritage place may be 500 years old. Max portions are ruined. A little walk required. Definitely if you are visiting malacca and heritage lovers not to be missed, avoid during mid day due to extreme hlovers

St. Paul’s Church, perched on a hill overlooking the Straits of Malacca, remains one of the city’s most evocative landmarks. Built in 1521 by the Portuguese nobleman Duarte Coelho, it was originally called Nossa Senhora da Annunciada (Our Lady of the Annunciation). Later renamed St. Paul's, it served as a symbol of Malacca’s early European colonial history. The church witnessed transitions under Portuguese, Dutch, and British rule and now stands in dignified ruins, its weathered stone walls and open sky roof silently echoing centuries of faith, conquest, and change. We climbed the hill twice during our time in Malacca—each visit offering something different. The first was to take in the panoramic view: the city’s rooftops, the distant waters, and the quiet stillness of a space steeped in history. On our second ascent, we brought the drone to capture the site from above. As the camera rose into the morning air, St. Paul’s revealed its quiet grandeur—crumbling yet enduring, open to the sky yet grounded in deep time. Amid this filming, we met a local singer resting beneath the shade. Conversation flowed easily, and we soon found ourselves exchanging music and stories. I shared with him two songs from my Phenomenology Series: “Let the Peace Flow” and “Who Bears the Fire.” It felt fitting—singing about presence, perception, and inner stillness in a place where time seems suspended. The ruins, with their stone tombs and arched openings, became more than just historical remnants; they turned into a contemplative space where music, memory, and humanity intertwined. In that moment, the hill was no longer just a tourist stop—it became a quiet stage for connection, reflection, and the living rhythm of art in dialogue with place.

A residence of the Jesuits, in patronage of St. Paul, which was later converted into a graveyard. It was built atop this hill, in the day before European arrival, called Bukit Melaka. It was never a church. Great panoramic views all round without paying for a skyshot up the taming sari. Gentle hike up and down, which benches to sit.

At 1276 meters, Gunung Ledang (aka Mount Ophir) is the tallest peak in Johor and one of Peninsular Malaysia’s most legendary climbs. The trail lures weekend warriors with mossy forests, giant boulders, and ladders that may or may not have been installed during the Ming Dynasty. But Gunung Ledang isn’t just a mountain—it’s the stage for one of Malaysia’s most dramatic Malay folklore tragedies: Puteri Gunung Ledang. She was the elusive princess who rejected Sultan Mahmud of Melaka by demanding impossible dowry conditions—like a vat of virgin’s tears, a bowl of the Sultan’s son’s blood, and seven trays of mosquito hearts. Some say she still haunts the peak, possibly judging climbers’ fashion choices. 🥾 Distance: ~10–12 km round trip ⏱️ Time: 5–9 hours depending on fitness and existential crises 📍 Location: Tangkak, Johor ⚠️ Permits required, and local guides are mandatory 🌄 Best time to start: before sunrise if you enjoy misty fairytale vibes and mild existential dread Whether you believe in spirits or just want a workout that feels like a mythological punishment, Gunung Ledang delivers. Bonus points if you scream her name at the summit and get a mysterious breeze in return. Good for: hikers, folklore lovers, and those wondering if mosquito hearts are a metaphor for modern dating.

A rather technical hike that is definitely not for beginners. Good to have some bit of training as the ascent can take about 5-6hrs and the descent another 4-5hrs. Starts with paths, then rocky path, then ladders and ropes. Can be rather gruelling and bad for the knees, especially on the descent. View is decent. There’s better views elsewhere but definitely worth a climb for avid climbers.

This trail is above beginner. Muddy, slippery and you can easily get lost if you don't have a guide. Me and my friends started our climb at 8AM, went to the Peak B around 1PM and Peak A (Summit) around 2PM. It was an awesome experience climbing this mountain. My first out of the country mountain peak. This is highly recommended and will surely be back again.

Gunung Ledang is a well known mountain shrouded thick with the legend of Princess Ledang. Also named as Mount Ophir, it lays between Johor and Melaka with 2 hiking routes, camp sites and waterfalls. Started at around 8am, 7 of us hiked with our friendly guide for about 7hours uphill via Sagil trail from Tangkak, Johor. The first few check points were warm ups in retrospect for the latter ones as more and more lengthy ladders replaced the sturdy hiking path. Towards the peak, ladders gave way to ropes and eventually we found ourselves abseiling to the top. View by now was breath-taking, both figuratively and literally.Especially fresh in my memory was the cool breeze in the foggy Japanese Garden near peak. By noon, we've summited and surrounded by clouds all around. Next, we headed downwards to a tent site for some much needed rest and a self-heating hot meal, what a life-saver. Hike down was a rather no-brainer with a hiking pole. By 6pm and 10 hours later, we've completed the trail of about 6km+ safely. All in all, I'd say it's a rather technical hike involving some ladder climbing & abseiling. Medium difficulty. Good to be fit enough to enjoy the hike.

It's challenging trekking. I went there for 2D 1N camping. You can do day hike as well but its very tiring and rushing. Sunrise view is very amazing and its cold on top peak. Waterfall is nearby the camp site and its amazing creature! Beginner is not advise, this trekking is for intermediate to expert level.

Fantastic experience here. Good deals, good designs, clean and spacious. Prices cheaper 20-30% as compared to SG. My sister managed to purchase a pair of high end heels at 50%. Sports brand were updated and attractive. Spent 8 hrs slowly combing through the stores. Get yourself a nice ice cream from Godiva.

Back in 2019, shopping at Johor Premium Outlets felt like a heavenly experience. The variety of international brands, great discounts, and open-air design made it unforgettable. I truly loved it and would definitely come back for another shopping spree

Nice place to buy brand items and brisk walk here. Have nice food court with reasonable price (first time eat here, befere this only shopping). Nasi Kandar Melayu also here. Got place for children to play. Found out that there's a machine to charge your phone inside the food court, Rm3 for 1 hour if not mistaken. Also got a bank here, Maybank. Got surau, and plenty rest rooms around Jpo. Outdoor playground on first floor at the of the building. There some shop lot give discounts on selected items. Overall, feel like shops overseas, best place to window shop too 😎 Finally, this place got a lot of parking lot, you can choose where to park. This place got not free entering, bring your TNG cards 🫰🏻

A decent spot for outlet shopping, especially for designer and name brand items. With nearly 150 stores, there’s a mix of international brands like Coach, Burberry, Armani, and more.It’s especially worth visiting during special promotions or seasonal sales otherwise, prices can be a bit higher compared to other outlet malls overseas. The layout is open and easy to get around, and the overall environment is clean and well maintained. The mall has grown over the years and now offers a wider variety of stores compared to its early days. Food choices are a bit limited, but there’s enough to grab a quick bite. Parking is spacious and convenient, which adds to the ease of the visit. Overall, a good place for a relaxed day of shopping just best timed around major deals for the best value.

Its one of the option if you wanna find good discount series (Skechers) and open space store mixing with nature, there are so many good brands as well, parking lot OK, cleanliness OK

Ground floor are mostly high end brands. 2nd floor are more mid tier brands. There is a food court and a couple of restaurants that served good food eg Madam Kwan and Souper Tang. I wish they had Louis Vuitton, Loewe and please bring back Prada. I like how some brands offer additional discount on top of the slashed price on tag.

Great place easy reachable by 30-49 minutes from City square mall Johor , take Grab for better n comfortable transport experience .

Visitation is not available at the moment as the link bridge into the island is under repair. You can still have a boat tour around the fishing village, Floating fish farm and guest houses around the area

Kukup Island The island is located around 1 km offshore from Johor mainland (from pontian jetty). The island consists of various wildlife animals, such as monkeys, wild boars, mudskippers etc.

Nice place to explore. but keep in mind this place is craaaazy humid. Eventhough the air is nice and cold, you gonna sweat like you just finish bathing as it is a mangrove island. But still a nice place to visit. (Btw please pay tickets ya!!)

In order to promote preservation of this unique mangrove habitat, Pulau Kukup is declared as a RAMSAR site on 31 January 2003. In year 1997, it is protected as a national park under the Johor State Park Corporation Enactment 1989. Kukup Island or Pulau Kukup is one of the biggest inhabited mangrove sites in the world. There are various species of wildlife there in the national park. They are monkeys, wild boar, mudskipper and much more. Do visit tanjung piai, another mangrove habitat in Johor, not far away from kukup island. Famous johor hotels such as the Grand Blue Waves Hotel Johor Bahru provide luxurious stay and services for visitors. It is situated in the heart of Johor Bahru, thus, it is not far away from the City Square Johor Bahru. City Square Johor Bahru is a shopping centre and office building that was opened in the year of 1995. It is the tallest building in Johor Bahru and attracts tourists especially Singaporeans.

We visited during a weekday morning. Big shopping mall, many entertainment for the family with kids if you decide join the activities like rock climbing, obstacles course and skiing park etc. Many foods options. Its was rather quiet during the weekday.

I would strongly recommend this mall for family staycation (at the airBnB above) with kids, especially 5 years and older. There are many kids friendly activities in this mall, including amusement centre, ice skating rink, archery, cat cafe and the extensive adventure play. Many restaurants and several spas to choose from as well.

We had fun here, went to the baby shark play centre and the kids loved it. Vivo Pizza was also really nice for the family

Megamall to spend an entire day. So many activities for the whole family. Got ice rink, got obstacle course. There was a petting zoo at Ground level and durian buffet outside. Got restaurants serving all types of cuisine, got hair, nail saloon, boutiques, cakes, dessert, ice cream shops, bakeries, supermarket and sports and books. Many handphone repair shops and massage parlours too.

Hehehe today is one of my best days ever, I go there with my friend to do some windows shopping and it was great Alot of shops and too many selections I really enjoy the vibe there, there's a lot of facilities so it easy to went to the surau or toilet and a lot of the staff are friendly I really recommend all of you to go there and have a fantastic day there
