Waterfall was beautiful but having to pay $10 for parking, just to spend 15 minutes looking over the waterfall was a bit outrageous. We didn't try the hiking trail as we didn't have the time so I'm sure it's more worth it if you do the long trail as well.
Tia G — Google review
Hiked a good 7 KM distance from Hoggs Falls to Eugenia and back. View deck available to watch and listen to the relaxing sound of the raging falls. Pay parking, portable toilets, and pavilion available for visitors.
Pinky M — Google review
Great for a picnic and short or long hike depending on if you'd like to walk to Hoggs falls as well. Easy terrain with some incline and decline so be sure to be ready to make the longer trek. Family friendly of all ages if you'd like just to see Eugenia Falls. Paid parking and staff attended entrance. Highly recommend
Josh S — Google review
A great place to visit and experience a waterfall in a hidden valley that you'd never think to visit! There's a nice trail, and views of the waterfall are spectacular! NOTE: They only take debit/credit for some reason, and not cash when you pay for your parking.
Jason B — Google review
Very large falls, nice view right near the parking lot. Trails are somewhat difficult to follow in certain spots. We didn't spend a lot of time here but has lots of interconnected trails to hike. Could likely spend a full day here. Was told there's a view from the bottom of the falls if you start at Hoggs falls and hike 4.5 hours.
Genevieve M — Google review
This is one of my favorite waterfalls in Ontario. It's tall, and the hills of the Beaver Valley make it feel mythical, especially in the Autumn. The water runs fullest in the spring and then you'll find a thunderous torrent that gives off spray. Otherwise, it can be relatively sparse for water. Nonetheless, it's not to be missed!
Michelle R — Google review
Nice conservation area 2 hours from Toronto. The trail starts from the falls into the woods for about 3.5 km ending with a beautiful view from the high point of the forest. Looks amazing in fall. The trail does not make a loop, so you need to return the same path. Good sight of the falls at the start of the trail. I was a little disappointed as usually you get to the scenic point after having made effort on the trails. Well that's normally my incentive. But then at the end of the trail the sight was quite breathtaking so it all ended well. PS: The staff said the trail goes up to Tobermory, if one is feeling really enthusiastic ;)

Elora Quarry Conservation Area

Nature & Parks
Nestled in southwestern Ontario, the Elora Quarry Conservation Area is a stunning oasis that boasts emerald green waters and striking white limestone cliffs. This former limestone quarry, affectionately dubbed the 'old swimming hole,' features towering 40-foot cliffs that create a breathtaking backdrop for summer fun. Visitors can enjoy sunbathing on its sandy beach or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters.
First time going here, heard lots of great things so well camping at the conservation area we wanted to check it out. We were not disappointed. We spent a few hours here swimming hiking, etc. they have a small sandy Beach but we went midweek and it wasn’t very busy. The water is unbelievable, temperature is just right. You can bring a floating device, but it needs to be small personal floaty. You can easily float around the entire quarry and if you’re up to it, you can swim across to the other side lots of cliffs and whatnot lots of little spots where you can jump in the water, I can trail small but it definitely is a cool thing to check out when you’re here
Garling C — Google review
We went early on a sunny blue sky day to see the turquoise(opens @10am) before the water gets merky from swimmers. Must purchase parking ($15) and adult passes ($11) online, u get 4hrs. Bring a floaty (can't be bigger than personal use) and float around and enjoy the amazing view. Recommend going on least busy days. We went Mon and it was perfect!
Shelby A — Google review
Nice and clean place, the quarry is mesmerizing with abundance of greeneries, you can enjoy your day with family, tickets need to be purchased online 3 days in advance, place is small so it gets crowded, so should try to come dot at 10 to get the picnic tables. One of the washroom was super dirty and requires urgent attention, they also need to put signs properly to guide the visitors, but overall it was not a bad experince.
Prasun G — Google review
Really enjoyed this place. The only cons are that it was a far drive for me, but that's subjective to where you live. Other than that, beautiful spot, great water, not overly crowded * Please note you have to book in advance online* The water was perfect in August. There isn't much in terms of trails and hiking; it's more for a beach, relaxation, and swimming area. No complaints from me. Would definitely go again.
Stefan — Google review
Small conservation gorge area with clear waters. I had fun with my friend. However I felt the price for entry was too much, paid $36 in total for parking and two adults ticket which I purchased online as they don't give out tickets at the counter. Parking alone was $15. There is parking inside the area for which they will guide you. We took the 3-7pm slot so you can line up your vehicle on the side of the road right before the entry to the Conservation Gorge. Don't park at Rona or they'll toll your car away! Overall wouldn't go again, but it was good for a one time visit! :)
Candice B — Google review
Incredible place to go swimming with the family, water is clean and relaxing on a floaty. The beach is busy but lots of places to sit. Washrooms and change rooms aren't too far to walk to from the beach. Pick a hot day because the water is cold!
Kenny B — Google review
It's a great place to swim and chill! However, the cost of it is too much if you're just trying to check it out or to spend a little bit of time. $15 parking, and ~$10 entry fees for adults is far too much for what you get - which is a mini beach and a spot to park near it. It's a hit or miss. If you're there to swim, good. If you just want to check it out, eh. Maybe?
Benedek — Google review
BOOK ONLINE AT LEAST A DAY OR TWO BEFORE !!! $10 per adult + $15 parking. Beautiful view, cold water and very calm. Washroom situation is very bad - I hope they maintain it better and make it worth the cost we are paying. Security guard is present at all times. (no smoking / alcohol / cliff jumping is allowed)

Elora Gorge Conservation Area

Nature & Parks
Elora Gorge Conservation Area is a stunning natural space featuring a deep ravine and the majestic Grand River flowing through it. The gorge, formed by retreating glaciers, spans about two kilometers and boasts limestone cliffs reaching 22 meters in height. Visitors can enjoy riverside trails, scenic overlooks with breathtaking views of kayakers and tubers navigating the rapids below, as well as camping opportunities. For adventure seekers, activities like zip lining and tubing down the river are available.
If you want to see nature at its best, with rivers that wind around this area with all their glory, and see some amazing things such as the Hole in the Rock, and easy trails, this is a place to be. We went there to go tubing however the whole conservation area was full of great areas including picnic areas (bring your own picnic food like we did), camping, tubing, and trails. I would highly recommend it and strong recommend the tubing (make sure to book it 72 hours ahead of time ideally) as I was such an awesome feeling being pulled by the river. There are even waterfalls there!
Winston B — Google review
*A Natural Wonderland for All Ages Our recent hike at the gorge was an unforgettable experience! The stunning natural rock formations are a sight to behold, offering breathtaking views at every turn. The well-laid paths made the hike enjoyable and accessible, allowing us to fully take in the beauty of the area without difficulty. The gorge was just that! Gorgeous! What impressed me most was how incredibly clean the entire park was—it's clear that a lot of care and effort go into maintaining this natural gem. Despite the rugged landscape, Elora Gorge is very kid-friendly, which made it a perfect family adventure. Even with the steep drop-offs, we felt safe knowing that dangerous areas were carefully fenced off, ensuring everyone could enjoy the scenery without worry. If you're looking for a beautiful, well-maintained place to hike that’s suitable for all ages, I highly recommend visiting!
Nikki M — Google review
It was a short walk from the parking area to the hole in the rock stairs. The cedar tree roots growing around the large rock is magical. We were there on a weekday morning this week and had the place to ourselves. There is a forest trail to a stone lookout where you get a view of the limestone rockface. We were happy to follow a review that suggested going to Victoria Park in downtown Elora and taking the stairs down to the river for a close up view of the gorge. Be careful as the trail is really rough with steep rocky path. The combination of the two trails gives you the best experience.
Michelle W — Google review
*only reviewing tubing on the gorge* I went tubing with a few friends and really enjoyed myself! The tubing price was $54 plus the park entrance fee. For the price I likely wouldn't do this again. For the price I'd expect a tube collection service which there isn't. Also due to bridge construction we couldn't park at the finish line to drive back to the drop off so we had to walk 45mins. I don't mind walking but for the price I shouldn't have to walk with all the equipment. However all that said, I really found the gorge beautiful and the (small) rapids were fun! We all had a good time
Keven P — Google review
There is an entry fees of $8 per person. There are three trails that you can go. They are not tough so can go with kids as well but not with stroller and all. You can enjoy tubing but tickets should be purchased in advance. There are multiple parking lots. You can enjoy a day out with your family but carry your own food and water as there no foods stalls inside that. I didn’t find Look out points much attractive, I think tubing would be fun and that is on my bucket list, will definitely try next time.
Bimal C — Google review
Elora Gorge Park is a protected area surrounding a deep gorge, and we visited for a walk through the picturesque landscape. We were amazed by the stunning natural beauty, clean environment, and excellent facilities. It seemed like we paid С$8.50 per person and spent the entire day here with friends and their dog.
Olha K — Google review
Park entry fee: $8.00/person Cars were parked on the grass or anywhere they found the space. Tubing: registration $20/person Plan ahead, the line was long. If you rented the equipment elsewhere, you don’t have to wait in line but there’s no signs up indicating which wasted a lot of time. Once you get the band, follow the yellow steps to the launching area. The hike is steep and long. Once you get into the water, you are on your own, there aren’t life guards. The water flow was steady but other areas, fast. There is a area in between you can stop and dive off into the water. It’s not easy to navigate the where to go unless you paddle in some way(used my water shoes) It’s beautiful along the way, the scenery is beautiful, you will pass a waterfall! When you get to the end, it’s best to step off as it was harder when when you reach the chain. Now the walk back to return equipment (if rented on site) and to the parking is also long but through the trail so just follow the signs. Along the way, I saw many camp sites. Tips, Bring water shoes, rocks Bring water proof case for car keys/phones. I guarantee if not secured, you will lose it. Bring ropes if you want to stay linked to your friends Wear sun screen Wear life jacket Wear helmet
Mary M — Google review
Oh wow, what agreat experience!! The gorge was beautiful and fun. We had such a great, hot and sunny day to end the summer. I highly recommend this floating trip and I'd go back!!

Although the park isn’t very large, it has beautiful views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s a wonderful spot to unwind, especially after a run, and the surroundings make it feel refreshing despite its size.

I recently played two cricket matches at this ground, and it was a wonderful experience. The place feels so serene. Just walking around surrounded by trees, greenery, you would never expect in the heart of the city. It’s not only a great cricket ground but also a peaceful escape into nature.

Superb Park for day picnic, walking exercise and time pass. There a cafeteria too to buy snacks when it open. Free parking for Maximum 3 hrs. The Park also holds one of the oldest Log(wooden) School house that was built in 1829 or so by Levi Carroll and maintained by the Local city as local heritage of North American History. Spanning approximately 111 acres, the park offers a variety of amenities that cater to visitors of all ages. The park is well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors. Its combination of natural beauty and recreational facilities makes it an ideal spot for relaxation and family fun.

ChatGPT said:Waterloo Park is a beautiful, lively green space right in the heart of the city — I’ve spent a few afternoons there, and it’s always enjoyable. The park has something for everyone: walking trails around Silver Lake, picnic areas, sports fields, and even a small zoo area with farm animals. It’s perfect for families, joggers, or just relaxing under the trees. The trails are well-maintained, and parking is free but can fill up fast on weekends. It’s clean, spacious, and has a friendly community vibe all year round.

St. Jacobs Country Playhouse is a cozy and well-sized theatre located in the southwest of the province. The lobby features a bar and can accommodate most guests, while volunteers help you find your comfortable seats, which offer great sightlines and perfect sound. The parking lot is spacious, and the tickets are reasonably priced for the quality of performances offered.
I recently saw Misery at St. Jacob’s Playhouse and really enjoyed it! The acoustics were excellent, and the intimate size of the theatre means there isn’t a bad seat in the house. I was especially impressed by the clever set design. The way they created the different rooms of the house was so well done. It was also really crafty how they managed Paul’s movement around the stage in his wheelchair during the scenes. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more shows here. If you want to escape the chaos of heading into Toronto and avoid the overpriced tickets of most Mirvish shows, St. Jacob’s Playhouse is a fantastic alternative - great performances, reasonable prices, and a charming local atmosphere.

We had a great time watching liars at a funeral play!!! The building itself is so cute and clean on the outside and rustic and abin like on the inside. Theres a bar with snacks and beverages a bit pricey but expected. The theatre area was smaller than i expected very cozy and stage was probably easy to see everywhere. Will hopefully go back aomeday!!

Super Community Theatre, well-kept, clean washrooms, and has a bar. Staff is very helpful. Saw 'Liars at a Funeral' here 2025.

The Sounds of Soul Created by Lee Siegel is an amazing stage show packed with hits of a truly amazing time in music history. An immersive show you will enjoy. I highly recommend!
Wayne N — Google review
Nice, cozy little theatre. We've seen several Drayton productions there and they're always amazingly well done. My only caveat is not to buy front row tickets unless you're really tall as the stage is quite high up.
Amy S — Google review
I’ve seen many, many performances here over the years and it is still my favourite venue to watch a show in. The theatre is the perfect size to feel like you’re a part of something really special and connected to the actors on stage. The stories chosen to be told are always something that gets conversations going and promotes sharing.

This is a very good theater. Well laid out, plenty of parking available. Drinks purchased on-site are allowed in the seating area. We normally select Loges seating. There are a variety of Drayton Entertainment productions. All are excellent. Looking forward to the 2026 Season.

Great little theatre. We saw 'The songs of John Denver' in June. Unfortunately the seating area is up a long set of stairs. There is an elevator, but prepare to wait when there is crowd .
Robert L — Google review
The show "Grease" was very well done. Not a mediocre voice in the entire cast! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my seat was at the far edge of the stage so I ended up sitting a bit sideways ...which got uncomfortabe and the arm of the seat was sticking into my back. There should be more angle on outside seats
SteveH — Google review
Unique venue, anyone with mobility issues will want orchestra level or go early to wait for the elevator which is very, very slow. One set of small bathrooms for the whole venue, long waits. Cash only for 50/50 draw. Debit accepted at concessions. Great staff. Climate was very comfortable, as it was a very hot day.
K G — Google review
Great small local theatre. Only 13 mins away from our small rural town, Arthur. Old historic building. Great theatre. Old, classic set up. Usually entertaining shows. For adults and occasionally for kids. Price? Affordable. Free parking. No major crowds, no traffic. Drayton chop House a great place for a local beef burger or appetizer, a beer or glass of wine before the show. Better than go out down town Toronto.
River's D — Google review
Wonderful small venue. Staff could not have been more helpful. Had a great wheelchair bathroom, big enough for an assistant as well. Free parking and site and a other a block away.

What an incredible experience! Went to Drayton Theatre for first time and absolutely loved it. The staff, environment and experience was outstanding. Saw the play Grease and we were all up dancing at the end. I cant wait for my next experience at the Drayton Theatre.

The shows at Drayton are always entertaining and well done and The box office staff and volunteers are as proffesional and proficient at their parts in the show as the actors, directors and stage hands. A gem of a theatre group right in our back yard.

Pittock Conservation Area, located just minutes from downtown Woodstock, offers 2,000 scenic acres of outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, boating, disc golf and more in this picturesque natural setting. The area features picnic areas and campsites for those looking to spend a day or longer in the great outdoors. The Southside parking lot provides easy access to the dam and trails for exploration.
Close to the city but the feel of the rustic outdoors. A clean taken care of park. Very friendly an helpful people staff and regulars. Nice lake to fish in. The store was not that great it only sold wood and ice on weekends not during the week. The sues were close together but because of covid spacing I was okay. There was a nice trail and a swim area. It was a nice alternative getaway.
Kim S — Google review
For a day's trip, this is a good place to visit. They also have nice picnic areas and camp sites which I did not use, and cannot review. If you are coming for a day visit, you should come to the Southside parking lot, which is not the default location when you use Google to navigate. From the Southside parking lot, you can visit the dam or walk in the trails. The dam is worth a visit. A very unique structure with different levels of water on either side. A good place to fish as well. The only part that I felt could be better is, parts of the trails are not maintained and hard to walk.
Dibyendu M — Google review
Best of both worlds...there is a nice paved section of the trail that leads along the lake, and for the brave at heart, it turns into a gravel trail around half way down the lake. Great place for young families and pets. Safe for children to try out their skateboard, ripstick, roller blades, etc skills.
Rick B — Google review
Very beautiful well kept park with an amazing trail that goes all the way to Roth Park here in Woodstock. Here they have to the right a day area with a play group a splash pad many picnic tables its quite has public bathroom i believe they are now open to the public. To their left is the camping grounds and there is so much to that side i recommend that you come visit get a map and discover your next family adventures.

We stayed a week here to visit family in Woodstock. This is our second stay here in the fall. It’s a lovely park with good amenities. There are wild raspberries all over the place that could be better enjoyed earlier in the year. The changing leaves were beautiful!

Great place to fish, bike, hike , kayak and picnic. Lots of parking and day visit doesn't have a charge. Dam gets stinky when walking on it but views are amazing. Splash pad is decent. Lots of tables in case you want to BBQ.

The acoustics, stage lighting and effects were amazing. The theatre is beautiful. The only complaint that I have was that because of the remote location by the river, it is difficult for seniors with mobility issues to have a choice of places to eat. Therefore the theatre’s restaurant has a monopoly on food and was over priced.

Theatre has a lovely outdoor patio. Parking on site is available and wasn't full at all. Good view from all seats inside

Amazing venue designed for stage plays! The staff, architecture, washrooms and maintenance were all excellent. The food and drinks at the cafeteria could have had more variety though.

We went to see Ransacking Troy, and I was blown away. And not just by the play, but by the theater as well. A beautiful building inside and out, with a store, dining and bar areas and not a single bad seat in the whole house. I will definitely be coming back!

Lovely modern theatre with interesting architecture and kind staff! It was a joy to watch The Winter’s Tale here with friends.

Incredible theatre built in 2020. Modern amenities, brilliant architecture, exquisite staging, lighting, and stagecraft. We saw two plays here (The Winter's Tale and Forgiveness) and both were extremely well done and enhanced by their presentation at Tom Patterson Theatre.
Jerry B — Google review
A very nice, modern theatre. The stage forms a narrow peninsula surrounded by the audience. This makes for a very different experience.
Mel R — Google review
An amazing experience in a beautiful, light filled and airy theatre. The common spaces never felt crowded. You can see the river from wherever you are in the lobby. There were an ample number of washrooms and no queues. The theatre space is lovely and seats were velvety and comfortable. Be sure you enjoy the outdoor patio and the adjacent garden.

The Tom Patterson Theatre, a new addition to the Stratford Festival, was designed by Harari Pontarini to replace the old Casino Dance Hall and Badminton Club. The main theater area is covered in handmade Danish bricks, while the lobby, cafe, and circulation spaces offer views of Lake Victoria through a unique glass and bronze facade. Even if you're not attending a performance at this venue, it's worth visiting for a relaxing time at the Cafe with live jazz music.

The Avon Theatre, part of the Stratford Festival, is a historic venue with a classic proscenium stage for plays, musicals, and concerts. Situated along Downie Street, it originally opened as an opera house in 1900. The theatre boasts a charming atmosphere and is well-maintained despite its age. Visitors can also spot Justin Bieber's star outside the theatre where he used to busk before becoming famous.
Saw Anne of Green Gables this past weekend. The interpretation was incredible; keeping in line with the main story but adding a new, modern twist. As well, there were lots of comedic and heartfelt moments. The acting was brilliant and the set perfectly done to reflect each time period. The Avon Theatre is a beautiful theatre, with comfortable seating, washroom facilities that were plentiful and moved quickly. There is also a good-size shop onsite if you are looking for show merchandise.
Tamara H — Google review
The Avon Theatre in Stratford is a charming venue, with a classic look on the outside and a comfortable, welcoming feel inside. The seats are fairly comfortable with the sound and lighting being usually excellent. The location is great too — right in the heart of Stratford, close to shops, cafes, and parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that the seating can feel a bit tight if the theatre is full, especially in the older sections, as was my case when I went to watch Macbeth there recently. Also, some of the best seats tend to sell out quickly, so it's a good idea to book in advance. Overall, the Avon Theatre is a nice place to enjoy live performances, especially as part of the Stratford Festival. The quality of the performances is first-rate.  As part of the Stratford Festival, the productions are top-tier. The Stratford Shakespeare Festival was launched in 1952 by Tom Patterson, a local journalist. Today, it has grown into one of Canada’s most popular cultural events. His vision was to bring Shakespeare's works to life in the town of Stratford, Ontario, a location that shared its name with the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. At the time, Stratford was a small town, but Patterson believed that bringing Shakespeare’s works to the town could not only elevate its cultural profile but also serve as an economic boost, drawing tourists from around the world. The idea was somewhat ambitious, given that Stratford was not known for its theater scene at that time. Patterson's vision eventually gained support from several key figures, with local residents rallying behind the project.

We watched a beautiful reproduction of the Anne of the green Gables in Avon theatre in downtown Stratford. The venue is great with a beautiful layout. The production was also amazing. Strongly recommend watching Anne of the Green Gables.
Veria H — Google review
Came here for the first time and experienced the Anne of Green Gables play. To me it was just ok. Our first impression of going to Stratford was a pain because this city doesn't have enough parking for the theatres so we spent 20 minutes looking for parking with every lot full. Then rushed to arrive on time. Small issue: this venue lacks having enough washrooms for the amount of people during the 15 minute break. The play itself was mediocre. The actors/actresses were tremendous but this was a very liberal twist on the story of Anne of Green Gables. They added a gay character. Took a shot at the current USA VP. Among some other things I won't mention. To me, politics should stay out of plays unless it's necessary. The story lacked authenticity in the second hour and I wish I just left at half and explored Stratford. 2/5 ⭐⭐

Saw Macbeth and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels playing here this season. Superb. All the theatres in Stratford are excellent, with the Avon being no exception. Comfortable seating. Recommend coming here for top quality theatre.

We came to see Macbeth and I don't think I've ever seen a show with better stagecrafting! The theater was lovely, with a really nice shop and a concession area where you could pre-order for intermission! What a great idea! We'll definitely be back again!

The Avon Theatre is a real treat. Not a bad sightline in the whole theatre (in my opinion). I often sit in "obstructed view" seats and rarely feel that I'm missing any of the action. The seats are comfortable, the lobby is light and the staff are helpful and kind.

A really unique place to visit. Art, clothing and decorations are for sale, and the place is full of artwork displays. The park around the buildings makes for a great place to relax, and in one small building they have coffee and cookies. The location is a little out of the way, just south of Sparta. But well worth the drive to get here.

Very very very cute. Quaint. Majestic place. I enjoyed our visit here so much. The store has something for everyone. And all such unique peices. The creativity is unlike anything and the couple that I'm assuming own the place are so sweet and genuine.

This place is a gem. The property is really big and there are large pieces of art (sculptures, folky and fun pieces). You can walk around freely and enjoy the property, and sneak into one of several little mini cabin like structures, sign the book, have coffee and cookies, and just relax and people watch. The store itself is fantastic and has lots to look at. Second floor is handmade bird house heaven, Lol. A must see. It's also open certain times of winter. Gorgeous!

A beautiful place with whimsical art installations; many quiet places to read, meditate, listen to live harp music, or take a leisurely stroll; and a great shop with lovely home and garden decor, and women's clothing. We make a point of visiting whenever we're in Sparta; it makes for a relaxing end to the day.

My first time here and was amazed how junk can be turned into art. And most if not all is for sale. Then you go into the stores and they have many items such as purses, jewelry, scarvesand much more for sale. Then upstairs they have many one of a kind made by hand bird houses for sale.
Diane B — Google review
Very Interesting Place. There's a nice walk thru the property showing you lots of creative figures made out of an astounding number of everyday items. The walk is free, and the only commercialization is the small store that exists. Surprisingly, the store was very reasonably priced. Lots of beautiful handmade birdhouses (they are hard to comprehend without seeing them!), scarves, knick knacks, etc.

Nice little place to browse around and buy some odds and ends that you don't find everywhere. They have some pretty nice handmade birdhouses upstairs and some cool yard ornaments in their outside building.

Victoria Park, also known as Vicky Park, is a beloved 18-acre green space in east London. It's the largest park in the borough and offers diverse attractions such as a replica of the Whitehall cenotaph, a Chinese pagoda, and opportunities for row boating. The park hosts summer festivals and concerts while transforming into a free skating spot with enchanting Christmas lights during winter.
Victoria Park is truly the heart of London! This beautiful green space offers something for everyone—whether you’re taking a relaxing stroll, enjoying a picnic, or attending one of the many festivals hosted here throughout the year. The park is well-maintained, with plenty of benches, walking paths, and shady trees. In the summer, the festivals and concerts bring so much energy, while in the winter, the holiday lights display is magical. There’s also a great play area for kids and plenty of open spaces for activities. The central location makes it an easy stop for both locals and visitors. If you’re in London, I highly recommend visiting Victoria Park—it’s a gem in the city!

Beautiful park in London, stopped here for a quick walk to see the Holy Roller tank from WWII. And it was well worth it. There are some benches to sit and reflect or rest your legs next to the tank. The squirrels are hilarious and will follow for snacks. I didn't spend a lot of time here, but would definitely stop again in my travels across Canada.

The one thing I love the most about Victoria Park is the different events that happen at the Park most weekends. Today, we caught a Hockey Cup final and some other time, it's a music festival. Victoria Park is a pretty large mostly quiet park in the heart of downtown London, ON. It's characterised by a large black gate and a couple of nice sculptures on the Park. It's very lovely especially during Summer. Although our evening at the Park was disrupted by Bees, but we still had a good time walking in the Park. Parking was not really an issue at the Park as we found a place to park easily. Due to the nature of downtown, I won't advise anyone being at the Park till late but it's definitely a good experience to enjoy the Sun. I heard the Park is even more beautiful during Winter, looking forward to it. Ambience ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Location ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Victoria Park's ice skating rink is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is magical, especially in the evening with the twinkling lights and festive vibes. The ice is well-maintained, making it perfect for both beginners and seasoned skaters. It's a great place to enjoy winter with family and friends while soaking in the beauty of the park. Definitely a must-visit for some winter fun!

Downtown's London central Park. It's a medium size park but very beautiful, always clean and lively. It's also very vibrant. In summer is when I like it the most. Here, some festivals take place during the day being my favorite the sun fest. You can go running in here, have a picnic or just walk by.
David S — Google review
Went during the winter. Definitely smaller in area than I expected but right in the center of the city. I can imagine it being a fun place to hangout during summers. For winter, there is a skating rink as well as cute Christmas decorations. Also nice little monuments around the park.

We absolutely loved our visit to **Pinafore Park**! It was the perfect spot for a fun and relaxing day out with my wife and son. The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, scenic walking paths, and plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. Our son had a blast at the playground, which was clean, safe, and full of fun equipment to keep him entertained. We enjoyed a lovely day by the water, watching the ducks and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The splash pad was also a huge hit—perfect for cooling off on a warm day! What really stood out was how well-kept and family-friendly the entire park was. There were clean restrooms and ample seating. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind, play, or just enjoy nature, Pinafore Park is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend for families!🌳👨👩👦💙

We were on the lookout for a perfect spot to have a BBQ, where the kids could run around, and we stumbled upon Pinafore Park by chance. It turned out to be an amazing discovery! The park is absolutely beautiful and so well-kept. There's a fantastic playground packed with fun things for the kids to play on, plus some spacious pavilions where we could enjoy a picnic and relax. We ended up taking lots of gorgeous photos amidst the colorful flowers and stunning scenery. We can’t wait to visit again!

Pinafore park has to be one of my favorite parks. It's always a good time and usually plenty of friendly people. The park has plenty of picnic areas and large covered gazebos to cover your event quite nicely if it rains. The park is clean and there's plenty of parking. If your looking for a relaxing evening in the sunset. Pinafore park is a great place to let high strung children(my granddaughter) burn off all that excess energy just before bed time. Great place for an outdoor birthday party or family reunion. If you've never been to Pinafore park take the pilgrimage, its vast and beautiful, no regrets, no worries. Luv Malcom💪😎💙Stay strong St Thomas.

Arena
Concerts & Shows
Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario is a versatile venue that hosts a variety of events including sports games, concerts, and family shows. It is home to the London Knights and the London Lightning. The arena provides comfortable seating with good sight lines and high-quality sound for concerts. While parking can be a bit challenging, the overall experience at Budweiser Gardens is enjoyable with easy entry points and wheelchair access. Arriving early allows visitors to explore nearby dining options before catching an event.
Canada Life Place (formerly Budweiser Gardens) is a solid venue in downtown London, Ontario. It’s smaller than Toronto arenas, which makes it easier to get in and out, and the views are good from almost every seat. The steep seating helps you see over the crowd, even when people are standing. The arena hosts a mix of concerts, sports, and family events. Recent shows include Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, and Sarah McLachlan. It’s also home to the London Knights hockey team, who have a strong local following. One downside is the sound quality—some say it’s too loud and muddy. Bringing earplugs might help. Ticketing can be tricky. It’s a cashless venue, and tickets may not show up in the regular Ticketmaster app. Using Google Wallet or the London-specific site is your best bet. Overall, it’s a convenient place to catch a show without the hassle of bigger city venues.
Milad K — Google review
Canada Life Place is a great venue spot. I have been here for multiple concerts/events and they are always done well. Lights and sound are fantastic. The staff are very kind and easy to talk to. Hassle free process getting in and to your seats. There are lots of places to get food and drinks, as well as many bathrooms. Drink prices are a bit much but other than that it is great!

My wife and I got tickets to go see AEW. The arena was really nice. Had an aisle seat couple times people going up the stairs drop their drinks. Staff had someone come and clean it up right away. Great arena and view to watch wrestling. crowd was amazing. the vibe was good. Highly recommend.
Justin M — Google review
Have attended this place for various things. The most common and popular one is a good old Knights game. Then who can forget the London Lightning games. So much fun and interaction. Great for the kids. Too bad they don’t exist anymore. I’ve been for private basketball games, which is nice to play on a full size court with a black hallow background. I’ve also been for the good for the Harlem Globetrotters which is a world of fun. Last but not least, I’ve been for some concerts. And who doesn’t like concerts. But the most memorable of them all which didn’t happen inside the arena but just outside it on Dundas street, was Jurassic Park and the Raptors championship gatherings. I have lots of great memories and pictures/videos somewhere and I’ll post them when I find them. But yeah, never a bad time going here. And the way to do that is set no expectations, and live in the moment, then you won’t be upset about the outcome which you can’t control. Your level of enjoyment you can control a big part of it. So yeah, any chance I get to go to Canada Life Place (former Budweiser Gardens).
Glen K — Google review
I had an amazing experience at Canada Life Place for the Avril Lavigne concert! The security staff was super helpful, guiding me to my seats efficiently; I had friendly interactions with security team members, thank you! The concert setup was fantastic, great lighting, sound, and overall vibe. Everything ran smoothly, and the venue was clean and well organized, the seats for the pit were also comfy. Big thanks to the security team, once again, for making the night stress-free, and efficent at every step of the way. I’d definitely come back for another live event here!

Storybook Gardens, situated in Spring Bank Park, is a captivating park that recreates the magic of beloved fairy tales and nursery rhymes. This family-friendly destination has been entertaining visitors since 1958 with its themed rides and attractions. Spanning over 20 acres, the park is tailored for children up to approximately nine years old and features play areas inspired by classic stories. It's a delightful place where kids can let their imaginations run wild while enjoying various activities that bring storybooks to life.
Fantastic garden, loved the theme. The train ride and carousel are outside the garden, loved it. Once u enter, there is a mini course for the kids to peddle their own carts. So much fun for the kids. They had 2 more rides like the elephant ride and ride. The ferris wheel was not in use when we were in there. They had a festival going on where they had face painting, kids activities, food trucks and ice cream. They have a huge splash pad, changing rooms and washrooms close by. The story book garden had a frog pond, adventure park with trampoline park and a huge pirate ship.
Hannah — Google review
We visited Storybook Gardens recently and it was a fun day out with the kids. They charge $9 per person for entry, and inside they have a few rides, a splash pad, some shows, and nice pond lookout areas. It’s definitely a good spot for kids to spend the whole day running around and enjoying themselves. They charge $3 per ride ticket, and most rides need one ticket. The Ferris wheel needs two tickets for adults. They also offer an all-day unlimited rides pass for $15, but honestly, I don’t think it’s worth it at that price. Maybe if it were $10, it would feel like a better deal. Some of the rides include a carousel, elephant ride, Ferris wheel, swing, and a mini train. Sadly, the Ferris wheel and elephant ride weren’t working when we went, which was a bit disappointing. It would be great if they had a deal like 10 ride tickets for $15 to make it more budget-friendly for families. The splash pad wasn’t amazing, but it was enough for the kids to have some fun and cool off a bit. Overall, it’s a nice place for a one-time visit, especially if you have young kids. But if they lowered the entry fee to around $5 and made ride tickets a bit more affordable, I think more families would visit more often.

Truly magical! My daughter made enchanting memories. See photos for details of what they have (plus a splash pad). Definitely worth the drive there.

LOVE this place. This is such a cute park for toddlers and young ones especially. The splash pad is huge and I had a hard time convincing my kid to come out to do other things like the rides, small village play area and face painting. We were here for a few hours and still didn't manage to do everything. There are some fun play structures for older kids too. The rides are pretty simple but fun for kids. They had a little race track with bikes and toddler cars that the kids adored too. We will definitely be back. This place is over an hour drive from home for us but we loved it. There are seating areas to eat and you can bring your own food or purchase some from the few vendor areas.
Brittany R — Google review
Fun spot for a family day! The kids loved the splash pad and playground, and the little rides were a hit. Some areas feel a bit old and could use a refresh, but overall it’s a cute place to spend a few hours. Prices are fair, parking is easy, and there’s plenty to keep the kids happy

A Magical Day at Storybook Gardens We visited Storybook Gardens today with my girls, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish. I honestly can't believe this beautiful park has been so close to us all this time—and we never knew about it! From the moment you step through the castle doors, it feels like you’ve entered a storybook world. The kids were absolutely mesmerized. There’s an incredible amount to see and do. The park is filled with charming attractions—rides, multiple playgrounds, pedal cars, a refreshing splash pad, and even adorable miniature villages. Along the way, there are fun photo ops with beloved storybook characters like Moby Dick, Humpty Dumpty, and the Cheshire Cat, which added so much whimsy and excitement for the little ones. What really impressed me as a parent/grandparent was how family-friendly the entire park is. There are plenty of shaded rest areas, lots of seating, and the washrooms were clean and easy to find. For lunch, we enjoyed grilled paninis (which were delicious!) from the on-site café. Overall, I’d highly recommend Storybook Gardens for a fun, affordable, and memorable family outing. Whether you're visiting with your kids or grandkids, it’s a fantastic place to spend the day making lasting memories.

Great place for kids! We were here for the first time and spent almost all day there. There are 5 attractions that you have to pay extra for riding on them. Attractions old but still fun for kids. We bought unlimited riding bracelets for our kids and it was great decisions! If you don't want to pay extra for the rides there are still lots to do in the park: jumping pillow, cars rides, splash pad, shows, 3 great playgrounds - for all of these you don't need to pay! Also you have to know that if would be rainy day the train would not work!

this is a great Park to bring your kids to. There is a very current up-to-date climbing equipment along with a splash pad. The Pats are well maintained although they can get busy at times. The smell of the river isn't that bad if you stay far enough away. There are ample public washrooms that are extremely clean and well-maintained.

The park is spectacular right now with a superb display of blooming spring flowers and giant blossoming trees. Bring the family and friends for some magnificent photo opportunities. A walk through the Graham Arboretum section will definitely put a smile on your faces. There are about 20 kms of paved multi- purpose trails with some parking immediately adjacent to the paths which makes this one of the most accessible parks in London. The signage is clearly marked and it provides excellent information about the nearest public restrooms, picnic areas, and attractions. The long bridge across the Thames River offers wonderful views and beautiful photo opportunities. The ancient willow trees along the shoreline pathway are fantastic. There is a long staircase from the upper parking lot off of Springbank Drive but the lower park can also be accessed by the paved roadway at the end of the parking area.

Grand Bend has a rich history as one of the region's earliest beach towns, featuring shops, food vendors, and recreational activities.
Grand Bend Beach is beautiful, a wide stretch of white sand and stunning blue-green water. It was our first time swimming in Lake Huron and it was a great experience! The beach was peaceful in the morning and got livelier in the afternoon, which is expected in mid-summer. The nearby Main Street had plenty of great restaurants to enjoy. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Grand Bend Beach is absolutely beautiful! the sand is soft, and the atmosphere is perfect for a summer day. There are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, and little stores nearby, so it’s easy to grab food or snacks. The sunsets here are breathtaking — definitely worth staying until the evening. It can get busy during weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. Overall, it’s one of the best beaches in Ontario for families, couples, or even solo visits. also parking is FREE after 6 PM

The beach is beautiful, clean and has a lot of activities you can do. Swimming, rafting, playing volleyball all are available I went with my friends in a beautiful sunny day and we enjoyed all these activities. From the beach you can walk in entertainment street to eat, drink and to do extra activities The place is great particularly in the summer weekends and must be visited

A Perfect Lakeside Getaway! Grand Bend is an absolute gem on the shores of Lake Huron! The main beach boasts stunningly clear blue water and soft sand that rivals ocean coasts. We loved climbing the scenic tourism hills for breathtaking panoramic views and visiting the charming historic lighthouse. The vibrant main street is full of great restaurants, cute shops, and ice cream parlors. The Art Gallery Beach adds a nice cultural touch to the natural beauty. It's the perfect destination for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax by beautiful waters. Highly recommended for a summer day trip or weekend getaway!

Great Spot for Swimming and Relaxation This is a great place for swimming the water is clean and you can feel the soft sand beneath your feet while swimming. Lots of nice sandy area where you can relax and enjoy the warmth. There’s a beautiful walking market where you can buy food, clothing, and more. The market has a charming 1950s vibe that adds to the experience. You can also rent boats and jet skis for around $150 per hour. The only downside is parking-it costs $8 per hour, and it can be challenging to find a spot close to the beach.
Sayed H — Google review
Street parking is $6 for 2 hours. Beach was pack with patrons but still have walking space. Not dog friendly so please leave furry friends at home. Enjoy a sunbathing here and not needing to fly to Bahamas. Plenty of drinks, ice cream and restaurants to fill your tummy after. The city should banned aggressive dogs on sidewalks.

Grand Bend Beach is a great spot for families and kids, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The beach is clean and has a fun, lively atmosphere. Parking can be a bit tight during weekends and holidays, so it’s best to arrive early. When we visited, it was quite windy and cold, but it’s still a beautiful place to enjoy the views and spend the day. Definitely worth a visit!

Pinery Provincial Park is a vast coastal park offering dunes, beaches, forest trails, camping facilities, boat rentals, and picnic areas. The park features three campgrounds with a total of 1,275 sites catering to families and providing a friendly community atmosphere. Its main attraction is the expansive sandy beach along Lake Huron that draws beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts.
My boyfriend and I visited the Pinery this fall for a quick camping trip, and we were absolutely captivated by the beauty of the area! Our campsite was just a short stroll from the stunning shores of Lake Huron, where the dunes and unique shoreline left me in awe. The park itself was incredibly well-maintained, with clean facilities and plenty of activities to enjoy throughout our stay. On our last day, we ventured out for a hike, soaking in the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views. It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to returning to this little slice of paradise!

Winter camping in December was perfect - snow, peace and tranquility. Lots of birds to see, trails are in good shape too. Roads are cleared quickly if snowfall, and comfort station has hot showers👍. The park staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to relax. My boyfriend and I love going here, we are from Michigan but the drive is totally worth it. The people here are so kind. The facilities are fantastic, the restrooms are always clean, there’s a shop where you can buy everything you need basically, and you can rent kayaks and bikes in case you don’t have. The city of Grand Bend is like 15 min away from here and it’s also pretty cute. Definitely recommended!!

Amazing place for camping. My wife has been coming here since she was a kid and now our family camps here every year. The camp grounds are amazing and the beach with the sand dunes are the best I've seen. The park employees are friendly and kind. There are lots of things to do around the park and in Grand Bend. I highly recommend camping here!

We camped at the park for 2 nights and it was a very comfortable stay. It is a beautiful protected forest host to oak savanna ecosystem and freshwater dunes, home to so many species of plants and animals. We had plenty of time to explore the park and soak in the beauty. The camping area beaches are not crowed and we could just relax on the beach and watch the sunset. the whole park is covered with boardwalks and is accessible for wheelchairs.

Gorgeous beaches, lush trails, clean facilities, and friendly park staff! This place was great for my family and I. You can have a legitimate camping experience while knowing if you forgot anything there's a reasonably priced camp store with almost anything you need. There's a wide variety of trails to hike/bike, many dog friendly spaces including certain beaches, easy to navigate maps and so many great places and activities for adults and kids alike to learn from!!

What a stunning area of Ontario. This Provincial Park lived up to its hype. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. What an amazing and large park! Camping sites in the Riverside campground (area 4) were spacious and private despite the large number of sites. Facilities and amenities were all clean and well stocked. The various beaches were beautiful. It was like being down south with the beautiful white sandy beaches and the aqua water! And it's a short drive into Grand Bend, a beautiful little town.
Krista M — Google review
Awesome campsites!! We had 3 campsites for 2 nights and it was so fun! The sites are clean and spacious. They were close enough together but still offered privacy. AND we barely felt any mosquitos!!! The bathrooms and showers were also cleaned regularly. Great place for camping with kids! They can be loud and dirty and enjoy so many outdoor activities. The beach area was beautiful! I can't say enough good things about it. We will definitely go again.

The store also features an assortment of home decor, fashion items, and novelty products. Visitors can enjoy a cafeteria-style lunch with options like sandwiches, soups, and pizza, as well as delectable desserts and pastries. The on-site bakery is particularly renowned for its scrumptious scones.
Parks Blueberries is a nice little day trip from London. A beautiful little shop with plenty to choose from. Fresh baked Pies and treats. A small kitchen and dining area. Many knick knacks and other things to choose from. Very pleasant staff and wagons and trays to make it an easy trip. Its about 1 hour the long way avoiding the 401 highway. We recommend this for a nice trip with anyone. No reason needed also works.

Had lunch, the sandwichs were pretty good actually. Could have probably ate 3 of them.lol Food menu was a good size too. Very busy place but there's lots of stuff to buy. Lots of parking though and lines moved quick. Frozen foods and fresh. Everyone was buying the pies.

Worth the visit. Pick your own items are well priced and fun if you enjoy that. The bakery goods are excellent. Pies, scones, tarts, cookies, etc. Again, fair pricing, in my opinion, and no skimping on the fruit. Delicious! There is a restaurant seating area for enjoying lunch items made in the shop as well. I found the staff to be very cheerful and friendly. I will certainly return.

We've been picking blueberries here for years. The farm is huge, and the berries we pick are large and sweet. We especially recommend the wide selection of pies in the gift shop. I would give 10 stars at least!! Loved my first experience in Petrolia and at this gorgeous theatre attending the opening show of Sweet Soul Music on July 6th. Oh my goodness! Another amazing, soul uplifting and magical creation by the uber-talented Mark Payne whom I had first seen at The Crooner in St Jacob Village in 2023 and which I LOVED! Do attend this "hit parade" of toe tapping and singing hits from the 60s and more! Justin was brilliant, fun and charismatic as the lead singer and our host; his voice was so versatile and perfect for the different songs sung. I especially loved his singing the Stevie Wonder songs and how he engaged with the audience. His girls/ladies, Maddy, Imaari and Olivia were gorgeous, talented, as a trio and individually. I loved the fact that they were each spotlighted with their own songs which had been perfectly selected for their voices. Olivia's VPP debut was super sweet and memorable; I could see and feel her gratitude from being on stage from where I sat and I was super excited and proud of her! I look forward to seeing where she and the rest of the artists will go next! The Starbright band was super talented and such a joy to see and hear. Loved seeing Mark sing and have so much fun with everyone. The atmosphere in the theatre was fun, positive and the energy was super high! Thank you to David Hogan for the brilliant direction and choreography. I sat in the first row of the balcony and it was fine for me but if you are tall or are afraid of heights, that row would not be right for you. Staff at the theatre was friendly and the butter tart I tried at intermission was delicious! Do go see this Fun and Fabulous show before it is gone....You will have the Best time, guaranteed! Thank you to Marlon for speaking with me after the show - another fan girl and arts lover magical moment for me! ❤️🎉

I have have been coming to the Victoria Playhouse since 2000 and during the last 10 years I have been coming with 14 to 16 friends and every year more friends want to come because the musicals are absolutely tremendous, fun, visually attractive and the voices are equally great. I credit David for producing such amazing productions. We thoroughly enjoyed Rockin' the 50's and we are coming again to see the Abba musical. Keep up the great work and I would love to see Million Dollar Quartet next year. Worth every mile of the drive from the Detroit area. Thanks for the enjoyment.

First time there. Quaint old house. Sound system very good. Could here the play clearly. Had seat in the balcony. Only problem was that the washrooms were in the basement. They are trying to raise money for an elevator and washroom on the upper floor. It is also wheel chair accessable. Will return with my sister next time.

Quiet beautiful place. Perfect for summer beach day with family. We went on this year Aug 3 with group of 20. Enjoyed this place. Enough parking at beach. Life guard and washroom facilities. Cleaned pebel beach. Only thing at 10' from shore it has water upto neck and left side river causing high current. Definitely need to keep an eye on small kids that they fo not go in too far. Swiming and snorkeling is good idea here. Nice view for sailing boat and vessels. Lots tree at shore provides good shades.

Beautiful day - 17 degrees. Feb. 9/24 The sand was quite clean which made our walk enjoyable all along the beach. The park itself is quite large with many people out and about today, along with their canine friends. There was one brave soul who tested the water! I would guess this is a beautiful park for swimming during the summer months. A place to relax, take a moment, and enjoy the water.

Well, Canatara Beach & Park is like a magical escape! When I got there, the sand was soft, the sun was shining, and I could hear the waves crashing. The park was full of green trees and colorful flowers that made the whole place look amazing. The best part was feeling so peaceful. I walked by the water and felt calm with the sound of the waves. And the sunset? It was like a painting in the sky, with beautiful colors that made me stop and stare. I can say, this place isn't just a park—it's a place where you can make great memories and feel the magic of nature all around you. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful time, Canatara Beach & Park has it all! Attached photos are 📸 below.

Huge park with long Blue Flag Beach recognition. Lots of parking close to the beach. I only went to the beach area further into the park but the beach stretches for a long length. There was an icecream cart there and washroom facility (no showers) with foot wash station and charging plug for electric wheelchair. Washroom building opened from 8:00am-9:00pm. Building also houses a lifeguard station. There was lifeguard supervision in sessions of the beach as signage indicated. Beach was sandy with some pebbles. Monitored with video cameras. I enjoyed the beach, especially watching the water skiers and boats going by when I was relaxing and not in the water; however, I was NOT impressed with the litter people left on the beach...such a surprise! The beach closer to the entrance has showers and more facilities. As for the park itself, it is huge with lots of picnic tables and shady areas, trails, playgrounds, children's zoo, bike park with moguls. You can spend all day there if you want.
R G — Google review
Excellent, clean beach. The day we went, the sand was a little rocky but the water was very calm. It's a couple of minutes away from the petting zoo so makes for a great day out. There are family bathrooms with change table.
Jagdeep J — Google review
Nice beach . It's still early in the season and facilities are closed. The weather is starting to get nice, maybe summer will finally show its face. There is a ton of nearly kept trails, and the sunset / sunrise are gorgeous here on lake huron. I prefer the sunrises as there are very few people in the morning. Plenty of parking and benches to just sit and relax to enjoy the park. A note to dog owners, the beaches are off limits to them as the city has a bylaw in place, although I've seen a few people walking their dogs early on. Personally i have no issues with that as all the owners I've seen are responsible.

I have been going to this museum since I was in elementary school, and even now at 19 I love it just as much. I was devastated when it closed, but so thankful that they were able to reopen! There are so many amazing pieces of taxidermy here and the exhibits are incredible, you can spend an hour in each room. The prices are incredible too. I couldn’t believe it was still only $7! The gift shop is lovely too. And most importantly, the two women who were working were amazing. They were so enthusiastic about answering questions and really made the experience beautiful. I recommend coming here to literally anyone! It’s a great place for kids and adults!!

The Blue Water Bridge is a stunning architectural marvel that connects Sarnia to the United States, offering breathtaking views of the sky-blue water and beautiful waterfront. This border community provides easy access to major markets in both Canada and the U.S., making it an ideal destination for travelers. The bridge itself may not be as visually striking as others, but its functionality and efficiency make it a popular choice for crossing between the two countries.
It is a sight to see! With a raging river below and tons of boats, working their way up that river to escape into Lake Huron. There is a fantastic trail leading down the waterfront, lots going on with the park beside the trail and food trucks, etc.

Can be chaotic I'm backed up at times the view at the top of the bridges are wonderful when you're over the river p definitely not for the faint-hearted or the person that is scared of heights. What walking under the bridge at the boardwalk or fishing off the boardwalk under the bridge is great delight you can catch him anything along with walleye and salmon or see people scuba diving along the river

Unfortunately if we would have had kids there which we would enjoy the pool but couldn't because it was filthy the floors the bathrooms. The room stunk I don't know if it was the carpeting or what it was we complained and they brought us up a bottle of breeze to spray all over our room we've got pictures that will be included not impressed with this place at all, there was food inside the air conditioner that made it stink trying to cool our room down the faucet and the tub ran and ran and ran, fix holes in the walls, wallpaper coming apart just totally disappointed!!!!

Very nice resort. Has 2 full 18 hole golf courses, spa services, 2 on site restaurants. Only a few minutes down the road to MI east coast. An Unforgettable Celebration of Life at Emilio’s Prime Steakhouse – A Beautiful Tribute to My Dad We recently held a celebration of life for my dad at Emilio’s Prime, and I can’t begin to describe how grateful we are for the incredible experience they created for our family and friends. From the moment we arrived, it was handled with care, grace, and exceptional attention to every detail. The venue itself was absolutely stunning—elegant, warm, and immaculately clean. It provided the perfect setting for both reflection and celebration. The service was extraordinary. The team at Emilio’s went above and beyond in every way. Their compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness made the day feel seamless and stress-free. They were always one step ahead, anticipating needs we hadn’t even thought of, and ensuring every guest felt welcomed and cared for. And the food—awesome. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The guests commented on how beautiful and clean the rooms were - one was even given an extremely late check out to attend the event. Hosting my dad’s celebration of life at Emilio’s Prime was one of the best decisions we could have made. They turned a difficult moment into a day of love, remembrance, and fun. We will never forget the kindness and excellence they showed us. I wholeheartedly recommend Emilio’s Prime for anyone looking to honor a loved one with dignity, beauty, and care. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.

Recently discovered their Happy Hour, and would recommend anyone with time to kill to go and check it out, and tip well (the drinks are cheap, doesn’t mean y’all have to be). We live locally, so I cannot comment on any of the rooms or the hotel side of things, but Tyler (Bartender at San Marino) and Savanah (Apologies on spelling) provided excellent conversation, are knowledgeable about what they do (for the people that care about that sort of thing), and just genuinely seem like good people. We will be returning in the future, and are eagerly awaiting the return of the chef’s (A+ Hummus. The Garlic Truffle Fries are also good, and I generally detest any fungus that doesn’t contain Psilocybin.) Mediterranean Cooking Class as we missed it the first time. Also, I don’t give two shakes about golf, but people say nice things.

Recently returned home from an annual golf weekend at Lakeview Hills. Both courses were in great shape, and the greens were excellent across all 36 holes. As always, our group enjoyed another great weekend. Rooms, food, and customer service were all first class. We just played the North 18. The course was very nice from the tee box to the green ⛳️ , with nice informational signs for the hole. However, I did. Not rate a 5 because I expected a little more for $ 70. The carts were slow, didn't have any covers, or any technology providing hole information, like they do at Solitude Links for the same price.

Nestled along the banks of the St. Clair River, Algonac State Park is a stunning destination that spans over 1,000 acres and showcases rare oak savannahs. This park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts year-round, offering excellent camping opportunities alongside picturesque views of river freighters gliding by. Fishing draws many visitors eager to enjoy quality time in nature, while hiking trails and cross-country skiing provide adventure seekers with plenty of options to explore the scenic landscape.
First time here and they just got done fixing it up and putting in more full hook up sites. We went mid April ao the water wasn't turned on yet but you could fill up at the front. There was nobody at the booth so you just checked in with the yellow phone. It was beautiful watching the boats go by. Not a lot of tree cover so it probably gets hot in the summer and if you have small children I wouldn't get a site right next to the river since it's a super busy road and not a fence that will keep kids in. We will definitely be back to this park.

Awesome state park with lots of privacy and cool views of the freighters going down the river. We stayed in the wagon wheel part of the campground and it was nice with every lot having a pretty level asphalt pad to park on. Some of the spots are a little tight with all the trees around but nothing too crazy just might have to ask your neighbors to move their trucks. The bathrooms were older and outdated but fairly clean and well stocked for the most part. The front area of the campground would be a nice part as well but it’s a lot more like a crowded parking lot. We liked the wagon wheel because there lots were so private.

We camped in algonac state park, it was beautiful. Great campground with fun views of the St. Clair River. Check-in was easy and park is well kept. Playgrounds are very small (swings and a slide), but there is an amazing bike path which does lead to a big playground and dog park. Highly recommend bringing bikes. There are also lots of picnic spots with a large field to play, horse shoe, and corn hole. Dump stations were probably the best we ever experienced with 4 stations and all equipment you would need without having to unpack your own including a sewer hose already attached to the drain, water hose, and a bucket for filling with water.
Aubrey P — Google review
Algonac state park sites 213 (fifth wheel) 214(travel trailer) and 215 (empty) 216 is also empty in the background of 215 so dont go thinking it is just a massive site lol As the state website says, yes on 214 we did need an additional hose, luckily we heeded the warning and were prepared. As a side note, a fair amount of the lot is located on the slide out side of the camper. Not bad for setting up and at least there isn't an obstacle blocking things but it does make the site feel smaller than other state parks once in place because it has a lot of wasted space on that side. Still plenty of room on the awning side to be comfortable but I thought it was worth noting for informational purposes. Also the sewer setup is new and I am happy to say that the opening for the sewer connection is well below the level of the trailer so that it drains properly (unlike the last full setup we had at a non state park site). For sure, 214 in particular, the parking pad is nice and level but it has a significant drop off to the lawn area of the site. Our 3 step unit is usually set quite short as our trailer does not sit insanely high off the ground. At this site our legs are fully extended and we had to put some 1 inch pads under the stair legs in order to get them to sit nicely. Still fits but the bottom step is a bit taller than most would like it to be, especially for someone with mobility issues (like my parents in the fifth wheel next door.). None of this is meant to be a complaint, purely informational. Overall the site is beautiful, the agent at check in was personable, we had no trouble getting in our space (though there is a tree that goes right up against the back of the parking pad on 214 and it meant there was not enough room to park our truck in front of our trailer which is 30 feet from tip to tail.). The view of the water from these sites isn't amazing but it is there. If you are desperate to see the ships go by it can be done from the site or a short walk down the street leaves a decent view as well. This page warned us of bugs at this park this year but so far it has not been bad. Just a few gnats flying around at dusk, but there are a lot of ants it seems. Still overall I highly recommend this park and these sites are pretty solid all around. (P.s. of all these three sites, 214 is the only one with no natural shade at any point during the day). Also the shooting range is perfectly adequate and exceeded expectations. But still is far enough away from the campsites that it does not disturb anyone. P.P.S. the cell phone service signal coverage area is fantastic. I am sitting on my site right now and have 2 to 3 bars of 5g Verizon service.

I cant really find any negatives. Will be coming back next year. I guess if you dont like guns or gun noise there is a shooting range here that you can hear from time to time. Fun to watch freighter go by on the river.

Great place to camp with the family. Seeing the boats was absolutely amazing for the first time. They were HUGE. We will definitely be coming back
Nick K — Google review
Great place to watch freighter. Campground is clean and well maintained, although they could do with fill dirt in many of the camp sites. We had a pretty good pot hole in our site. Another had a small standing puddle after a rain and several other sites had potholes as well.

Really enjoyed watching the ships come and go. Site was level, bathroom and dump station were newly updated.

Lake Saint Clair Metropark

Park
Nature & Parks
This multi-use park has a lake for boating activities, a large pool with waterslides, trails & golf.
What a beautiful park for locals. I took advantage of all the trails and put my feet in the lake. This is a place you can easily spend hours. Nice variety of people. There is a convenience store that sells ice cream, sunscreen, clothing.

We were just here last week ( oct.2025) for our mini getaway and we love the place, you really have to pay entrance $10 to get in but once you're in there park is clean and wonderfully beautiful. They have mini beach and walkways and lots of picnic areas and playground for kids. Our first time and my daughter loved the place.

This place is amazing. I have been to the other metro Parks but this one is by far my favourite. Being on Lake St. Clair is gives me the illusion of being on a ocean. The beach is so big and sandy. There is a lot of space for everyone. I also enjoy the playground for the kids and also the splash pad and pool area. If you are looking for a park this is it! Do be aware that sometimes they do close the beach due to testing the water for e-colei. But most times it's clear.

Absolutely fantastic beach area I was blown away. The nature center, nature trail (swampy, lot of bugs though!), beach and activities were simply beautiful, I had a great time and we’ll be back multiple times for sure
GLTheGameMaster ( — Google review
Great park with a nice mix of trails by the water and within the woods. Nature center trails have awesome bird watching opportunities.
Arthur H — Google review
I love the nature trails here but I unfortunately found out today people can hunt here as long as they’re in the water. I was watching a beautiful family of geese fly over from the boardwalk and then witnessed 2 being shot out the air. As someone who goes there for bird watching, this was shocking to see. At a bare minimum there should be signs making you aware the wildlife you’ve gone there to see may be shot in clear view. There’s an observation deck to view the wildlife and that’s exactly where they were hunting. Multiple groups of them, just shocking. I would avoid the Bay Area / boardwalk completely if this is something you don’t want to see, I wish I had known before going so I didn’t have to witness it myself.

The Mall at Partridge Creek

Shopping mall
Shopping
Relaxed, open-air shopping center featuring brand-name retailers, restaurants & a multiplex cinema.
I had a fantastic experience at the B12 Store in Partridge Creek. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the benefits of their products, making me feel comfortable and informed. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I appreciated the professional service and the quality of the supplements offered. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and looking to boost your wellness routine!

I don’t really like going here, and im convinced most other residents of Clinton Township don’t like going here either, and you probably like it more because you aren’t from here. But now with Lakeside gone, this is like the only option and so now it’s 10% better than it was before. My complaints come largely from the fact that this is an outdoor mall in a state which should not have an outdoor mall. Coming to this mall in the winter or fall isn’t a very fun experience the way it is during the summer. I think it’s unnecessary to have an outdoor version of sommerset in what I call a “workers town” because, we are mostly working class residents that commute to surrounding cities. Very few of us actually afford to shop here regularly. Beautiful mall, I enjoy coming here to eat and go to the movies but that’s really about it. I suppose that’s the con when it comes to living in a township that props up big business and punishes the small ones that do exist here.

Beautiful, and well kept. A unique mall experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for year-round entertainment, great shopping and dining. Sola Salons is beautiful. A one stop shop for all of your hair/beauty needs. This mall is safe and secure 24/7.

I love coming here. Always a calm vibe and plenty of variety of shops. I also love that the mall is dog friendly. Mostly a fashion mall, but there are some other cool stores here as well

Very nice place for shopping! 🛍 Plus they have a few restaurants, and a movie theater for entertainment. Nice place to spend a day out with family or friends 🧡.

Partridge Creek Mall is the most beautiful mall I’ve had the pleasure to shop, go to the movies and take in to excellent restaurants. I hope it lives forever for future generations to enjoy!

Stony Creek Metropark

Park
Nature & Parks
Bodies of Water
Massive park featuring year-round activities from canoeing & picnics to workshop events.
The park was very awesome! Looking around, it was very green and had beautiful views to take photos at. At one of the pavilions I was at, there was a cute playground with a slide and some swings. It was very fun to play on them like we were kids again. I highly recommend visiting this park if you are in the area. It's great!
Sridhar Y — Google review
I absolutely adore Stony Creek Metropark. Over the years my family and I have visited, not only for simple outdoor enjoyment and swimming, but for a range of events; 5K races, Night of the Dragon, Nature center programs, and birthday parties. They have a multitude of different areas throughout the park, so there are a ton of options for your day, and it's also pet friendly in the majority of areas (minus the nature center, beach, and no swimming at the lake). You could take your kids to their large play area at Eastwood beach, head out for some disc golfing, stay the weekend at their campground, head to the boat drop in and spend the day in the lake, take a swim and enjoy the beach, hike one of the many trails, or take your pup to one of the two off leash dog park areas. There are bathroom facilities available throughout the park, as well as benches, picnic tables and charcoal grills found in multiple locations. Really everything you could need to enjoy a day out in Nature, both on you own or with family/friends. Everything appears very well maintained, and staff has always been helpful and kind on the few times I needed to speak to someone. I highly, highly recommend Stony Creek Metropark. Worth the trip.

Great park, almost worth the $40 annual metro park pass fee on its own. Great beaches during the summer, beautiful tree color changes in the fall. Plenty of trails for all level of activities (biking, running, leisurely walking, dogs, etc). Don’t speed here when driving around though, it’s jam packed with cops.
Arthur H — Google review
We love playing in the lake and sand at Eastwood Beach. Bathrooms are close to the water and playground. Lots of variety at the playground: big kids love the climbing rope section and there are a few unusual features for them (a rotating ring to walk on, for example). Also, swings and a large toddler section that actually keeps the younger ones entertained for a while.

Excellent place for all ages and for all walks of life. Whether it's a quiet picnic with family and friends or a fitness session of trail walking and biking; a nature lover to absorb the sunset or a bird watcher, you have it all here. Not far from the city and we were able to spot few species of birds and a herd of deers.
Vimal N — Google review
Absolutely love visiting! The disc golf course stole my heart but getting to see nature and its beauty while doing something I love, how wonderful!! You guys make it a good metropark for everyone!
Allison — Google review
Stoney Creek has so much for the whole family. Do you like fishing? Well, then there are awesome spots throughout the park for you. Do you enjoy scenic nature hikes? There are so many different trails to choose from with well marked maps. If swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or paddle boarding are for you, definitely come here. My family and I have come here for years. This is our get away from the concrete jungle and it isn't a far drive. My you gest children learned how to swim here, their first interactions with nature were here. The only thing you need to be wary of, on the trails there are ticks. Make sure you wear the proper clothes for hiking and wear deet. The other bug sprays aren't going to help you combat ticks.
Reese S — Google review
Absolutely great place for everyone who wants to move around. Plenty of trails and the place is just so massive. Everything is well marked and organized. Place is clean and marked. Just beautiful.

Yates Cider Mill is a charming destination with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and exceptionally nice people. The mill has a nostalgic, family-friendly feel that makes it a great place to visit any time of year. Inside the store, pets aren’t allowed, but it’s well worth the visit for the amazing selection of treats and goods. The shop offers delicious doughnuts, fresh apple cider, tasty pastries, locally made jam and honey, flavorful coffee, and sweet cookies. There’s also a fun variety of merchandise that captures the spirit of the mill. The scent of fresh-baked goods and cider fills the air as you walk through the cozy store. Everything is neatly arranged, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s easy to see why it’s a local favorite. Outside, you can enjoy soft-serve or hand-dipped ice cream, making it a great spot for a sunny day. With its scenic surroundings and riverside trails nearby, Yates is more than just a cider mill—it’s a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon. Whether you’re picking up a dozen doughnuts or sipping cider by the water, the experience is always memorable. A must-visit for anyone in the area!

The best apple cider donut I’ve ever had. They were perfect! So much so I went back for more. The area is a cute quiet spot and has seating near a little creek. There are trails here but our time was limited and didn’t walk them. I’ll be back for one of the ice cream treats next visit. I’ll

When can I move in? I grew up in Michigan but I've never been to a cider mill before. 🤯 I guess my parents didn't really love me. 😄 Well, a stunningly beautiful Saturday in October was a perfect day to rectify that oversight of my youth, mom & dad. Bring your patience. Even though everyone, from the people helping to direct us in parking lot to the young women working in that first, noisy! room, everybody was smiling & helpful. Useful because, at 10 a.m., we were, by far, not alone. But we did beat the just-before-noon rush. 🤙🏼 We joined the queue like good and hungry little lemmings because, inside the barn, was the reason for the trip: fresh donuts & cider! 🤤 By the time I walked out of that pressing/sales room, I was carrying a great deal of delicious comestibles. Donuts, pocket pies & a quart of cider. I was also a great deal poorer, about $40 worth. I may have overdone it my first time but the prices are, well, steep. $6.50 for a quart of cider? It's $8-9 a gallon in the store. My friend got some roasted corn. $7. Ouch. Parking is free, but access gets hard when really busy. Still, the experience was good, the donuts still warm, and the cider was the perfect accompaniment. 👌 Oh, man! I forgot to get fudge! 😭🤦‍♂️

Am sitting here today, and it is the offseason. The cider mill and the surrounding area are a great place to visit and enjoy. When I got here, the ice cream / snack shop were open late in the day. This is such a nice setting next to the river. Very peaceful.

One of the best hot spiced ciders I’ve ever had. Really, it was delicious. The staff was great, friendly, and inviting. The grounds have plenty of space to walk around, even have a picnic. Tons of picnic tables for everyone. Oh, and the cinnamon/sugar donuts are incredible. Not too sweet, either just the right amount of cinnamon. They are so soft, they melt in your mouth. This place is a must visit.

Yates is top notch! Plenty of things for the kids...They have pony rides, animal petting, face painting and more...Their cider and donuts are yum among other options...Service was quick as the lines moved steady. Even down by the river was scenic and the ducks definitely wanted donuts too lol

Great place to come with your family or your significant other, beautiful trail to walk with ponds filled with ducks, they also have a cool little area with sheep, goats and cows. But the best part has GOT to be the Cider and donuts! Plenty of other treats as well.

Fresh & warm, light batter donut, that reminded me of my youth. I had my first apple cider slushie, I am glad that I did. Cookies, apples, apple pies and fudge shop. There is also a nice trail that is good for walking dogs, pulling a wagon, pushing a stroller or someone in a wheelchair.
