I came for Sunday branch. Around $15 is a reasonable price. The taste is ok, and the service is also good. The soup and coffee is really great!

Small casino. Buffet was ok. Too noisy, place smells like smoke. If it wasn't the good service from our server, I would have given a 1 star.

This casino needs better machines and make it a smoke free not to mention has only one bar and one all you can eat restaurant. They need to add 3 more different restaurants. I would not go visit again.

Way too smoky and the food was not good except the clam chowder. I was shocked how bad the smoke was and it was mostly empty. They need a decent ventilation system or no smoking at all. The French dip was disappointing, not much meat that was very dry with big chunks of fat. It was $19 and came with decent fries but not worth the price plus the smell of smoke was so gross.

The buffet has a very good variety most of the time. On the weekend when they do all you can eat crab and you have to almost beg to get them to refill the hot crab and some of the other items. The staff wait until they’re empty and then take a long time to refill them after they are empty. Please be proactive and not reactive!!! The biggest complaint is that the ICE CREAM MACHINE has been broken for a year, plus and although they promised last year to have it fixed. It is still not been fixed or replaced given its apparent age. It’s an important and fun part of the buffet. It needs to be replaced immediately!!!

Nice casino to just chill and gamble. Unlike others that attract the wrong crowd and have to look who's around you. Employees are super nice and always helpful. I only wish that they would be open 24 hrs on weekends.

They now have a non-smoking section to gamble. It doesn't smell too bad. I ate a nice lunch. they have some new machines overall It was good.

Very reasonably priced with a lot of Canadians. Course drains pretty well overall. Not a ton of elevation change, but rolling fairways. The course is beautiful in a not articulate way The clubhouse is huge and pretty nice inside, unlike the outside look.

4.5 stars if I could.. Very nice course...not up to resort standards today due to the pandemic...I think. Nice track with lots if sand traps and even more water Hazzards...bring extra balls if ur nit so great at target golf. I am a 6 hcp...shot 83 from the blues...easy to get into trouble.

First time heading down to the states since 'last year'. Canadian rates for golf, exceptional staff, and the golf course, even for August, is immaculate. Can't wait to go back.

A hidden gem of a course just across the border in Blaine. I played it in late December, 2024 and the course was welcoming for Canadians to take our currency too The drainage at the course was great as even though it was a continuous rain, there were no major puddles/issues. Challenging course that I would definitely look to play again down the road

First time playing here, Nice golf course, good layout, plenty of water and bunkers to keep your attention. The greens were rolling as well as anything I've played all summer, every putt had a chance.

Such a fun and challenging course, and the friendliest staff at any course in whatcom county. If you are considering a visit I would check it out while they have their discount rates through July. I have been forgoing my usual courses and playing here more than ever to take advantage of the deal.

Had a great time at the zoo with friends and family. The food prices at the Oasis Cafe are steep and for what you pay the food is nothing fantastic or memorable. Burgers are anywhere from $16-$18, small fries are $5.75 and large fries are $7.75. It is better to pack your own food that you want and like. The train and the bouncy castles weren't operational either which was disappointing. My little girl was really looking forward to seeing both in action. The animals were great and the grounds staff were busy at work.

First time visiting the Vancouver Zoo, and it was better than I thought! We were able to see lots of animals, and they all looked happy and relaxed. I highly recommend joining some of the spotlight programs, as they were free and educational. The safari cycles rent out very quickly, so if you want to try them, it’s best to rent early. It took us about 3 hours as adults to walk through the entire zoo. The only improvement I would suggest is for the zoo to have more water dispensers inside.

Wonderful afternoon checking out the Zoo. Well maintained with plenty of friendly hard working staff. Hippo, Giraffes, Siberian tigers, Elk, Reindeer, Lions, Grizzlies...and plenty more including a delightful mass of flamingos in full zen modes. And a Jurassic park like area full of animatronic dinosaurs and raptors. Spectacular for the kiddies. Screams of excitement and a little fear filled the air as the Dino's roared and shook all around. Must see for locals and a great place to take visitors. A little pricey but worth it. We are from the lower mainland and decided to buy annual pass so that we can many more times. Check it out. It is a wonderful walk and eye opener to the World beyond our urban lifestyles.

Great Family Day at Greater Vancouver Zoo! We had a wonderful time at the Greater Vancouver Zoo! It was a fun and relaxing day with family — especially the excitement of spotting hidden animals like the red panda and snow leopard. 🐼❄️ The zoo is very family-friendly with plenty of picnic tables and clean washrooms available throughout. It’s a great place to spend quality time with family and kids of all ages. One small suggestion: it would be nice to have more food options available inside the zoo for visitors who don’t bring their own meals. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend visiting at least once! 🌿🦓🐘

First time in the zoo and we had such a great experience! We followed the schedule to meet sone animals and it was so worthy. My kids loved it! They also have a very nice Dinosaur area! Kids have playground and big bounce castles! There is food, ice cream, and very affordable store to buy souvenirs!

Today we visited the zoo for the first time and I’m really happy with the overall experience. We saw many animals. the most interesting thing I enjoyed to ride the critter cruiser. Zoo was very neat and clean. It was fun 🤩

Zoo was fun, worth renting the bicycle or little cars. The weather in this area is extremely unpredictable we visited in July and it was so windy and chilly we had to buy sweaters at the gift shop. I was happy they had little cafe to get food. Not as much animals as I expected but I also understand it costs a lot to maintain and feed many. The back in time exhibit with the dinosaurs was our favorite. For the administration of the zoo ,I see a lot of land space so maybe you guys can team up with some agriculture school to start some gardens to help self sustain or reach out to the Government for some funding. Just some suggestions but I'm sure you're trying the best you can.

We had such an amazing time at the farm today :) It does get quite busy, especially on Sundays, so I definitely recommend going early. And whatever you do, don’t skip the waffles.. they were absolutely delicious 😁 The farm market was fantastic as well. We picked up some fresh fruit, and everything tasted incredible. The berries we picked ourselves were hands-down the best! Everyone working at the farm was so kind and welcoming. If you’re looking for a fun day out, this place is a must-visit 🥰

This place is absolutely fantastic! I wasn't expecting the fact that you can spend time there doing so many different things... first and obvious thing is berry pick up. Lots and lots of berries to choose from, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. People grab buckets ona fixed price and they can load them until the berries fit. If you're not familiar, staff is always nice and available to help you with directions. Then there is the market, where you can buy lots of local products, mainly handmade with the same local berries. There is also a place where you can seat and eat, plus the winery with live music inside. The winery is so special... carefully designed and organized in an old ranch-style, with nice displays of wine bottles and other cool furniture. An old guy, Ted, was super nice and friendly, beautifully dressed up and very kind with every guests, helping them to choose the best wine. Absolutely a must go location, ideal for people of all ages, families, couples or friends groups to enjoy a nice afternoon. Suggested to go when it's not too hot as it is obviously a wide open space outdoor when doing the berries pick up. Highly recommended. Thank you!! 😀

I really liked this farm! It was our first time doing a U-pick for strawberries, and we really enjoyed it. The strawberries were so sweet, and it’s easy to pick them since there are plenty even at the end of the day. We also tried the pancakes, wine, and lemonade — everything was delicious. At the market, I bought coffee with strawberry flavor for $8 and 6 ears of corn for $5. The corn was really sweet too! Highly recommend visiting this place with family and friends. 🍓🌽🥞

This was my second year visiting Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery, and it was just as great as the first! You can easily spend the whole day here, from picking fresh blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries and wandering through the beautiful flower gardens to enjoying a relaxing coffee break. The local wine flight and the corn pizza in is absolutely delicious, especially when followed by their famous waffle for dessert. The live music adds such a lovely atmosphere. Before you leave, don’t miss the charming local shop, we picked up a fresh pie and some unique handmade crafts to take home. A perfect spot for a fun, relaxing, and flavorful day out!

I had a great experience at Krause Berry Farms. I usually come back a few times each summer for berry picking. On Sept 12 the strawberries were still good, though blackberries were low. The berries are always fresh and sweet. I love their custard pie jar and the no-sugar raspberry jam, finished it in two days! The slushies are refreshing, but the hot food is overpriced and a bit disappointing.

We had the most wonderful morning/afternoon at Krause Berry Farm. And the corn pizza and raspberry waffles for lunch were 10 stars. Bought several frozen pizzas to take home, along with pounds of blueberries and strawberries! And of course I bought their beautiful cookbook! We will return to Krause Berry Farm again soon! This is a very pretty park, we visited during a rain shower but still lovely. Ideal place for dogs and children with lots of open space and picnic tables. Well maintained walking trails and ample parking.

One of the BEST parks our family has been to! Shade, shade, shade! The forest was a treat. We stayed for 3+ hours playing, walking, and delighting in the fairyland! Don’t miss this one if your family likes playing outside.

Amazing park!! Loved the Fairy Garden with all the little houses. Amazing little houses, even more than the last time we were here. Great playground for the kids, great trails. Also has public restrooms.

Absolutely beautiful park packed with Redwoods and other amazing trees. Well maintained and very peaceful. Great place to bring the kids to expend energy as there is a play area as well as a fairy village. There are relatively clean and accessible public washrooms but they are quiet old. Great sheltered seating areas for those short notice showers or BBQ sunny days.

Short 10-15 min trails makes a decent stroll with toddlers, strollers, and seniors. There are multiple picnic areas depending on what context you're going for: by the playground, own larger field, views, etc. The diversity of tall trees in the park makes an interesting walk. Other highlights: Meadows, treehouse, stroller/wheelchair access playground feature, vast bird house displays. We'd come here again for the picnic and stroll.

Went for a walk here with my husky today. All around beautiful, nice clean well maintained bathrooms, a huge plus. Playground looks nice, I'm sure my kids will love it when I take them next time. Trails were nice, albeit a tad covered in debris and I was hoping it would be a bit bigger to navigate around. But all around really enjoyable. Will definitely be back.

Such a fun experience here! Walking amongst the redwood trees is a beautiful experience. The hut was closed when I visited, but the park has abundant picnic spots and is very accessible for everyone. The fairy forest most definitely stole the spotlight away!

Fun little bespoke winery, representing the best of the Fraser Valley's specialty winery. On-site cranberries and local fruits are used. Wonderful hosting through an 11-type beverage tasting (small servings to enjoy responsibly!) love the raspberry Finger Fruit and their Cranberry Iced Winen

It is a beautiful spot when the weather is good. Great street music going on, a lot of happy people enjoying the walk. I highly recommend it. Keep two hours min. Add more time for eating out as a lot of options for dinner there.

A place to walk, chill, make your mind in peace . White rock pier is a place full of positivity , serenity . One can go there and sit for some time and take a small walk on the pier. Enjoy the beauty ,nature,water, seagulls chirping , sea shore sound. There are enormous restaurants where you can eat and see sunset peacefully. Easily accessible by car till that point . Less walk for seniors and kids too . One can easily take small bus too to reach till that point .

My absolute favourite place in Vancouver. The most satisfying walk is walking through the promenade and the pier. This place always has something fun to offer .. be it sea festival or some rockband playing some beautiful music. Best place for families to come and enjoy some fresh breeze

An incredible adventure! Walk the prominade, the pier and stroll the beach. Observe the starfish on the U.S - Canada marker. Visit the amazing icecream shops and many restaurants with huge platters of fish & chips. White Rock is definitely worth the visit. You won't be disappointed.

This was our destination when we went ebiking this weekend with my son. The scenery was breathtaking and relaxing. Very nice to visit specially in the early morning where there is less people around.

White Rock Pier is a 470-metre-long (1,540 ft) pier in White Rock, British Columbia. Originally built in 1914, it was a dock for steamships that arrived when the Great Northern Railway began operation. On December 20, 2018, the pier was severely damaged during a wind storm. The pier was repaired and reopened in 2019. 🤍

Pretty lake with sandy beach! Great for swimming, puddle boating, or just enjoying the sun! Good sitting area on beach and green with playground but not much for walking/ hiking.

If you want to go kayaking, this is a great lake,beautiful, but not very quiet on weekends. If you arrive early in the morning, you can get a parking spot, but after 10 a.m., it’s almost impossible to find one.

We usually go to this park a lot years ago. When we come back there again, it's changing a lot but it's getting better. A big playground had built. It's good for kids. The green area is smaller than before. The small concession was gone. The water is so clear and the new soft sand in the beach for good for all. If you plan go to there in summer, you better go early morning to get the parking spot. There are 6 portable washrooms in the park. The washrooms in the centre are still open. The calm lake are perfect for all water sports.

This nice lake is located in Maple ridge which is just 15 min drive from our house. It is really great for family outdoor fun, and the water gets warm in the end if May, great for small children. Has picnic tables, washrooms, and really nice playground which is a big + ! Be aware that parking lot gets full really fast on the weekend, the best time to arrive is between 9 am- 10 am. Or after 4 pm

Enjoyed a beautiful sunny day surrounded by beautiful white lilies at this pretty lake! Paddleboarding was a delightful experience, and the beach with its playground added a nice touch. While swimming isn't ideal due to some grass in the water, limited free parking can be a minor inconvenience

If you’re after a laid-back day by a clean lake with easy water access and picnic options, Whonnock Lake is a solid choice.

Wonderful place to go and spend time with friends and family! LOVE IT Peaceful, awesome nature with friendly visitors. Can organize birthday parties with friends and family with yummy food. Sand beach for soccer or volleyball. If you like fishing or swimming go for it. You have paddle board or any kind of watercraft like kayak or canoe even better.

Wow, it was a great place to learn about Canada’s history. I was amazed this village is preserved for our next generations of Canadians… the one in the fur area was welcoming and she was amazing in explaining Canada’s history… she is awesome!!!!! From interactive exhibits to hands-on activities, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a fun family outing. It’s the perfect blend of entertainment and learning — a must-visit when exploring the Fraser Valley!

This is just a marvel to watch. The place has been preserved and takes to actual historic times. There's a small café that serves excellent summer beverages. We spent around 5 hours, still felt it's not enough to explore the whole place.

We absolutely enjoyed this space during our visit. Staff was friendly, helpful and the space was immaculate. And excellent way to spend a day out with the family. And I absolutely LOVED this café, I wish all Vancouver Cafés would start serving this level of healing yumminess.

Intricate stories at every stop provide a welcoming atmosphere for even the faintest of history buffs. Each building is a place bringing back a time in Canada's history in a fun, at times interactive way. Lots to see in every corner. Pull the handle on boxes to be surprised by artifacts. See what Blacksmiths, Traders, Stewards and many others used to do in a time far from the present. Live demonstrations and friendly interpreters make the experience immersive.

Visiting Fort Langley felt like traveling back in time. The well-kept historic site has interesting exhibits and helpful guides. It's a great place for history lovers and families.

A beautiful beach and hiking trail. Although there is no shade or trees along the hiking trail but if you want a nice view of Mount Baker in Washington then you are at the right place. Plenty of parking here The beach hike is nice and if you love to swim then it is worth to cool off here while looking at Mount Baker

We simply love it there! Parking is easy & free, amenities are great (easy to clean yourself & the kids up after a sandy day on the beach 😅)… perfect spot to chill - and really cool is low tide time when you can walk aaaall the way over to White Rock! (no kidding!) It‘s clean, it‘s super safe - fantastic place for everybody! Small kids can play in the water & everybody else can practice their SUP skills! Enjoy!!

Excellent location with stunning views, walkable beach with Mt baker views! All faculties are in great conditions, love of picnic tables and parking spots! My kids love the big playground so much, it connected the old and new play sets together. Highly recommended to visit or spend a day here if you come to tsawwassen!

This is my new favorite beach! What a gorgeous view of the of the sand bar when the tide is out, there is lots of parking huge clean washrooms and a very impressive kids big toy play area. Lots of bird watching there everywhere. Lots of logs spread all over the beach to sit on. On the far right side is the USA/Canada concrete marker that's cool u can just walk right into the states. This beach would be amazing during sunset. They also have a food stand here near the entrance. Great beach 💯💯💯

It's a complete package, dog friendly walk areas, beach access, large parking lot, playground etc. One of the best place to get away from your daily life. You can be in nature and see some beautiful landscapes, birds and more.

It's a great place to take the kids out to play in the water and Barbie Q. you can walk them all day long but you have to watch the tide come in and go out and if you catch the tide you have to walk a long, long way to see the sea and the other thing is that the place where you can put the tent up is probably sand so it's best to put a layer of somethingor, Otherwise the bottom of the tent will be covered with dirt. there's only one place on this big beach where people line up to wash their feet and sand and that's very, very, very bad and needs to be improved.

We came here on Monday BC day as we've heard it was great for families. Although very crowded we managed to get a parking spot nearby without having to use their free shuttle. It is indeed a great beach for families. Calm water and safe enough for young children. You can walk a 100 meters from shore and water is still about waste deep. There are Park staff that help keep everyone organized and safe.

Busy, but very efficient ferry dock for BC ferries and others to go to islands, such as Vancouver Island. Little marketplace with food outlets and shopping vendors. It's great to have a bite to eat before docking.

Fantastic way to transport car $80 over from Vancouver to Victoria. On time, nice big clean boat, and with a cafeteria on board. Amazing views throughout the ship of the journey. Attraction in itself. Buy tickets in advance, they do fill up, especially when going with a car.

I was in Vancouver last week and decided to take the ferry to Victoria Island. We purchased ticket ahead of time and arrived with our car. It was a very smooth and fast process, you check in at the toll station and you show your boarding pass. They will assign you a lane and you go to the lane and wait for the boarding process. Surprisingly the process was very fast and efficient. They loaded over 200 cars and truck under 10-15 min. Once inside you can turn off your car and go up in the deck. They have nice sitting area, work stations, coffee shop and you can go outside and enjoy the beautiful view. It was a pleasant experience.

We got there just less than an hour from the next ferry to leave for Victoria. We paid at the entrance booth to the ferry terminal. The price for the car and two people was very reasonable. No need to book ahead. There was no extra charge for making the reservation. We got the line to go to and we drove there and placed our car next in line. It seems people get out of their cars and go shopping and eating at the enclosed mall. The building was great! Wonderful quality shops and many nice priced places to eat. Then, off to the car and enjoyed our hour and 30 minute trip. The ferry was pleasant and the view was very nice, Great experience!

BC Ferries are well-organized, speedy and clean. Booking our tickets online proved to be a wise decision, as it spared us any delays upon entering the terminal. Our ferry departed on schedule, and the boarding process was smooth and hassle-free. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking in every direction. Regrettably, the prices are notably steep. Nevertheless, the ferry journey itself was a delightful experience. Brace yourself for the wind on the ferry deck. We captured so many pictures. I thoroughly enjoy boarding the ferry at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.

Arrived 1:10 early and they said do we want to go on the earlier boat, yes please. Restaurant closed on Sunday but vending machines. Boat really smooth and the views are amazing of the little islands to Vancouver Swartz Bay. Tip make your way to the sun terrace at the top it’s the warmest and best views.

I Love the ferry terminal. Washrooms are always clean. Instructions are which line up to get in are clear. I think there is lots to enjoy as a casual user. Just be sure to get a reservation as sometimes the ferry can be very busy and it does get boring to have to wait a sailing or two….

A lively casino with plenty of gaming options and a fun atmosphere. The staff are professional and helpful, and the space feels modern and clean. Parking is convenient, and the location is easy to access. It can get quite busy on weekends, but overall it’s a good spot for entertainment, dining, and a night out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately, Great Canadian Casino Vancouver didn’t meet expectations. The overall vibe was downbeat, with a somewhat tired atmosphere and a crowd that didn’t help lift the mood. The table selection wasn’t great either, lacking variety and energy. The location itself isn’t particularly convenient, making access less than ideal, especially if you’re not living nearby. The one bright spot? The Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant inside the casino. easily the best part of the visit, offering good food in contrast to the casino experience. worth visiting only for the burger, not the gaming.

This was my second time at the casino so I am a beginner but I won big! I liked the selection of slots and the service and staff were good. I won 3 jackpots off one machine and the others were decent small wins.

We have been going to this casino for a little while and was feeling alright about our experience until today. I sat down at a machine and there was a slip with about $80 on it sticking out of the beeping machine. I looked around and there wasn't anyone nearby, walking away. My boyfriend thought it was best to ask at the cash counter what the policy was. Was it possible to connect this slip to someone? The lady behind the counter eagerly took the slip from us and said the money would probably go to the casino. She seemed kind of shady with her answers. In that case I was very sorry my boyfriend had taken it out of my hands and allowed the cashier to grab what would be just more money for the casino. Chances are that it will never go to the actual owner but just go to the casino or more possibly the worker. So far I have not received a response from the casino to my email asking to clarify thier policy surrounding found money. I don't think I will be going back as I don't like throwing away my money here.

Absolutely the most poorly managed casino that I’ve ever visited. The first day of NFL football with 50 empty tables and they can’t figure out how to play the sound, so we were having to listen to horse jumping while the football game was on . 20 minutes after ordering a baileys and coffee they come and tell me that they don’t have any baileys. I walked out without spending a dime and never going back.

Don't waste your time here...go to Langley instead you might actually win something over there...this casino sucks bigtime.. they charge 30$ for a burger and fries with a fry portion meant to feed a 3 year old so after your done being ripped off gambling, you can feel ripped off on your meal also....I promise you, you will not win anything here. the RTP value in this casino is complete and udder crap...im consecutively disappointed with this place and will not be going back myself...

Guest services act like jerks to guests. I went to ask a question and the lady just talked over me the whole time. I asked if it’s common to talk over someone like that and she said “I have to go because we’re busy.” Apparently they’re too busy for customers, don’t really know who the hell they think they’re existing for. I wanted ask about staying here multiple nights, but the clerk was “too busy” so I’ll just spend my money somewhere else. Don’t waste your time. 10/2/25 8:00PM

Overall good experience. Performance was funny and edgy. Definitely not for sensitive people as they mention on the website but not over the top. The circus show was great and the live music afterward was enjoyable. Even the music choice before and between acts was awesome. Great selection of drinks. Food options cater to all, I feel, and was delicious. Some changes obviously due to covid but I didn't feel it took away from the quality of the show overall. Definitely recommend for a fun night out.

This was my 4th visit to The Giggle Dam. The shows are always top notch. They are funny, a lil raunchy, and always full of talent!! The food is delicious and generous. The atmosphere reflects the current show perfectly from the decor to the servers and waitstaff costumes. The drinks are delicious! It's well worth the price

We had an absolute blast celebrating our 6 month wedding anniversary! The Giggle Dam puts in such a great show. They had us laughing all night. Dinner wasn’t half bad either. They serve a four course meal with various options for your main.

I LOVE this place! The cast is incredible, and ridiculously talented. You will 100% have a good time. It's saucy, racy, original, and hilarious. You can tell the cast is having a good time, too. Get the Dam sized cocktails if you want to have extra fun ;) there's a full bar! 🍺 Super fun experience, great for groups and parties for sure.

Same dam place. One thing they have going for them is consistency. Consistently delicious alcoholic mixology, consistent politically incorrect dirty humor, consistently terrible food and a consistently GREAT TIME!!!! If you have never been but you like dinner comedy and old time rock and roll, this place should get up on your list. The owners are getting on in age, this place must have been around 15 to 20 years so it wont last forever. Get in while they're still warm! The place is always packed, be prepared to be in a small room with a couple hundred people. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE ATTENDING, COMEDY IS SILLY AND VULGAR, SHOW IS FOR THE YOUNG AT HEART, NOT FOR PRUNES AND PICKY CRY BABIES. These people put it out there trying to entertain. This isnt a 200$ ticket you are buying...

Went here for the first time this evening and it was so much fun! They took plenty of precautions to keep us safe, the food was good, and the entertainment was... well... hilarious! Hope to come back again soon! Cheers friends!

Lafarge Lake Park is like the central park of our city. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with family and friends. A true gem in the heart of the community!

I love taking a stroll around the park especially seeing the changes every season. It’s great that there is something for everyone to do. Two ice cream shops/cafes now. Plus free wifi!

Having grown up when Lafarge Lake was little more than a former gravel pit filled with water, I can't help but be impressed by the fantastic job the City has done with this park. Loads of amenities and plenty of room to wander, play, explore, and relax. Always a lovely visit!

A great big park for everyone. Lots of sport fields, playground, large big lawn, a big lake. It's very popular for the lafarge Lake lights Festival in Christmas. It also holds a lot of summer events too. The big stage by the lake is good for concerts and shows. The flat trail around the lake is good for a walk. Lots of parking is good for all events. But it will be not enough washroom when the events take place, more washrooms are really important too. There are also with a electrical scooter station in the park. It has free wifi.

Our family's one of the most favorite places for walk and outdoor play. I had taken my younger daughter there, when she was younger to play at the playground or in the spray park, now I take my grandchildren there. We enjoy each year the Christmas Decoration. Today, we walked in the beautiful garden, which had never been that beautiful before.

An extraordinary and amazing park in downtown of Coquitlam. This park is really enjoyable, with many different things and spots to visit. There are soccer fields, basketball, volleyball, water park, tennis court, baseball field, a huge and official running field, so many things. Large parking lot, public washrooms, some places to eat and do small snacks, spaces for a BBQ. For who likes run or walking, there are a lot of places to do around the park. I really recommend this place.

A moderately challenging out and back hike that takes me an average of 1 hour and 20 minutes depending on how bad my quads are burning. Contrary to what others have been reviewing I don’t think there’s that much of a view but I appreciate the good workout. Itll be hard to do this hike on a sunny day as there’s not much shade but it’s enjoyable on a nice breezy day !

Tackled the Coquitlam Crunch with my cousin and aunties—and wow, those stairs don’t play around! 🥵 Over 400 steps straight up felt like a mini Grouse Grind, but we powered through together, one step at a time. Legs were burning, but the views (and the company) made it all worth it. 💖💪 Reaching the top felt so fulfilling—like we conquered something big as a team. So proud of us for pushing through the sweat, laughs, and occasional “Are we there yet?” moments. Grateful for this day, the climb, and the strong women beside me. 👣⛰️

I'm an old guy and not very fit...yet. I love the Crunch because it is wide enough that I can take my slow pace and know that there is plenty of room to have others pass me without a problem. At first I thought it would be ugly having to walk under the power lines, but they have done a fabulous job in creating a nice trail and there are some great sport fields, a community garden and pickle ball courts on the level areas. A dog park too! The stair section has signs every 25 steps with a few motivational quotes. On our last visit the skies were clear giving us gorgeous views of Mt Baker. There are many entry points to the trail along the way. At the bottom there are well maintained restrooms.

It is a fantastic place to burn your calories. You have two ways to use. Either way to go up and come down. Total of 2.25 km from the beginning. Ample parking spaces in two locations. The availability of toilets with running water is also a notable feature. Found separate bins for dog waste and garbage but no place for recycles.

Lovely wide park pathway with a bit of a challenge whether going up or down. Has a water bottle station and public bathrooms along Lansdowne Drive, with plenty of parking scattered around. A bit of a workout if inexperienced with decent slope grades, yet beginner friendly, just take your time and enjoy the views. I came downhill, and the stairs at the end were a killer after hiking towards Eagle Mountain for a couple hours. But I lived. Take it easy, believe in yourself, and you can easily conquer the Crunch in a day whether going uphill, downhill, or both.

Great place to exercise your legs and take in fresh air. The most challenging part would be the stairs but after the stairs it is just a paved path. As you go higher, the views start to emerge itself. I can imagine just how beautiful it can get during sunrise and sunset. Fun fact, at the top of the stairs you are higher than the high rises! You can also see just how close the clouds are to the mountains on rainy days. Free parking and public washrooms are available.

The Coquitlam Crunch Trail is an intense yet rewarding experience. I regularly hike this trail with my daughter, and each journey strengthens our bond. The trail's challenging nature makes our time together even more meaningful. However, it's essential to choose the right time of day for your hike, as the trail offers limited shade and can get extremely hot. We find early mornings to be the best time to enjoy the trail and avoid the heat.

We love it here Went today after not going for a few years. Caught myself saying to my daughter who was 2 when we first went… why did we wait so long to come again (now 9) We saw SO many birds. 2 bird nests I have never seen before. Hand fed red winged black birds and chickadees with the provided seed $2 a bag. DO NOT BRING your own seed or food for birds. Gift shop is adorable. Picked up some bird colouring books and paint by numbers on our way out. Make a day of it and hit up Emma Leah farms and westham island herb farm on your way home. We will be back soon for some birding !!!! Thanks

Very cool place for bird lovers. Might be hot walking in the sun so recommend bringing umbrellas or hats. Requires parking reservation for the 2 hour stay, on their website. Saw beautiful herons and little birds are likely to feed off seeds from hands! Very well kept sanctuary considering how many birds live there.

Absolutely love this Sanctuary. There are cranes, ducks, grease, and tons of other birds. A lot of birds here are very friendly and will eat out of your hand. Nice trial walks. $8 per person and I am usually there for 2-3 hours!

Fantastic spot to visit if you have access to a car, absolute gem of a bird sanctuary with knowledgeable staff and community. Worthwhile way to spend an afternoon in the late summer and I can only imagine how incredible it would be to visit in the Spring!

Such a peaceful spot! We saw lots of ducks and even a few sandhill cranes wandering around. Feeding the ducks was a fun highlight. The trails are easy and perfect for a relaxing stroll. Great way to unwind and enjoy nature. Can’t wait for fall/winter time when the vegetation not so dense

I think this was good value for the money. It's just a bit out of the way to access. I'm not a bird watcher, but there were certainly plenty to see. They may be a bit too accustomed to humans though lol. The trails are well maintained and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view or watch the birds along the way. There is a tower and several blinds along the way. There are picnic tables and washrooms near the parking. It took us about 2 hours to circumnavigate the area and also wander through the middle a bit. There is plenty of parking, although you do need a reservation. They don't kick you out after your 2 hour block - I think it's just an arrival window - and they are strict on not letting you in before that time starts. We went during summer and we may return again during another season to see different birds.

We had a great experience at the bird park. Plenty of birds to view. Make sure you carry pumpkin seeds to feed birds - it's a great experience. Also make sure to carry binoculars, a bag pack, lots of water/snacks and be prepared for a beautiful walk around the reef.

This is a beautiful and relaxing Classical Chinese Garden. We visited on a recent trip. It was $16 to enter as an adult. Inside we could enjoy the walk and relaxing atmosphere. They offered free tea and there was a room with a few traditional Chinese activities to learn or try. The Garden neighbours a park by almost the same name. The Park is free to enter, and if you were just looking for a taste of the experience, you could do that at no cost. The Garden looks over the pond that is shared by both the paid garden and the free park. Spent about 1 hour total between the 2. The exit is through a lovely gift shop.

It’s a calm and pleasant spot in an otherwise noisy town, but since it’s part of an open-entry park, the house itself doesn’t really justify the ticket price. Inside you’ll only find some Chinese-style furniture—unclear whether authentic or just styled to look old—arranged in a very bare interior with an equally plain garden. If you’ve ever seen original Chinese homes, you’ll find this one strikingly empty; if you haven’t, it may give you a very basic idea of how they look. The most interesting moment had nothing to do with the house at all: I watched a heron catch a fish from the pond right in front of me. It was extraordinary, something I had never seen so close before. That alone was beautiful. Otherwise, don’t bother paying for the entrance. Just walk behind the statue and you’ll enter the park for free. Nothing inside is worth your time.

Visited June 2025. During our walk around Chinatown, we came across this garden. We walked through a store and out the back door and ended up here. This was a great surprise in an overall depressing situation in the area. The garden is very peaceful to walk around and take in nature right in the middle of the city.

A peaceful place to soothe your peace, I visited the park and classic garden (entry fee) . I came here a few days after my dad's funeral. This has serenity away from the city life beyond the walls.

This place was so cute to stop in while exploring Chinatown. A little oasis in what is kind of a rougher part of the city. We just did the public portion, not the ticketed part, but we saw plenty of lovely botanicals and hidden paths and picture spots. Definitely worth a walk!!

I’ve been there twice — once in spring and once in summer — and both seasons look amazing. There’s a small garden that makes you feel like you’re in China. It’s such a calm and peaceful place where you can sit, sip your tea, and watch the beautiful fish swimming in the pond. There’s also a small shop where you can buy traditional Chinese souvenirs.

This is not just a garden, this is a monument to Chinese culture. A pure diamond in the heart of Vancouver. A safe place to rest and relax if you need a break from the city. It gives you the feeling to enter a bubble full of positive energy. Tea was great, the staff was more than happy to help you throughout the visit. What an amazing experience 🙏🏻

Great place to walk . Interesting stories to window shop. Nothing is open but tons of murals on display.

Robson Street is one of the busiest and most beautiful streets in downtown Vancouver. It’s filled with all kinds of restaurants, clothing and shoe stores, as well as beauty shops. Anyone visiting Vancouver should definitely check out this street. It has a great vibe, especially in the spring when the weather is cool and refreshing.

Gastown is definitely one of the must-visit spots in Vancouver. It’s the city’s historic heart, with cobblestone streets, old brick buildings, and vintage street lamps that give it a unique charm. The Steam Clock is the highlight, fun to watch and a perfect photo spot. I really enjoyed just walking around, checking out the local shops, art galleries, and trying out cafes and pubs along the way. In the evening the whole place lights up beautifully, making it even more atmospheric. Great for a casual stroll, good food, and a bit of Vancouver history all in one.

Cool but of history. I think the best times are on the hour when you can hear the whole chime with the number of hours to match the time of day. The quarter chimes are cool as well but the whole chime is spectacular. There are bars you can sit at near by to get a view as well. Won't go out of my way but if you're in the area, worth a stop!

The clock still runs and plays its melody every 15 minutes, though it is running about 3 minutes early. Despite these minor issues, the clock remains a fascinating blend of old-world charm and modern engineering, drawing visitors with its steam-powered whistles and historical significance in Vancouver’s Gastown district. It’s definitely worth seeing for its uniqueness and the atmosphere it creates in the area. Keep in mind to check maintenance status before visiting to catch its full performance.

A tourist attraction that is centered around a unique steam powered clock in the Gas Town district of Vancouver. The clock runs entirely on steam, and although as of October 2025 the clock is under maintenance, it still plays sound every 15 minutes. Thats the real attraction around this clock and you can time your visit. There is usually a long queue of tourists trying to capture their photo in front of the clock. The neighborhood and the road itself are really nice to be around. This has to be part of your Vancouver visit itinerary.

Nice charm from the steam clock. Got to be there on the hour as the steam clock will steam out the hours by the number of hums. Though the clock doesn't show standard time, probably needs some lubricant.

Great quirky attraction. Would have had 5 stars had the time on the clock been accurate. It was 10 minutes out, but once we figured thay out we were able to watch it complete the full chime sequence on the hour. The surrounding area is a great place for shops, bars and restaurants, both day and night. Well worth a visit.

Such a great attraction this is! Family friendly, informative and absolutely stunning views. We loved the information cards placed right by the view. Children enjoyed this experience more than the adults. The staff were very well trained, they kept the facility spotless and well organized.

First time visit here as visited Vancouver couple times. Great view for 360 degree view of all the directions of the city, in a sunny day. Drawback is they will close before sunset, so you cannot come for a night view. But probably they are worried about the safety in downtown for that.

That was sooo exciting when you go up in the very quick glass elevator about 130 meters high, or actually 168 meters above sea level! You can see all of Vancouver’s attractions from above. Inside, there are pictures of different Vancouver spots with their history, and there’s even a QR code you can scan to listen to the guide. Highly recommend it!

We didn’t get time to go to grouse mountain so decided to do the lookout. Cost is approx $44 for two. It was ok. Not much atmosphere at the top but there are markers for each site/building etc. it was cool being in the elevator outside. I wouldn’t say it’s a must do.

The Vancouver Lookout definitely lives up to its name—you get a mostly great panoramic view of the entire city. It’s a beautiful way to get your bearings and take in the skyline, mountains, and water all at once. That said, the ticket prices are pretty steep for what is essentially a quick experience. I give them bonus points for the thoughtful touch of having stepstools for little kids so they can actually enjoy the view too. I’ve done it once and it was lovely—but at that price point, I don’t feel the need to do it again. Worth checking off your list, but maybe not a repeat visit.

The area is open, welcoming, and very well laid out, making it easy to walk around and explore. It’s a truly pleasant attraction, whether you’re visiting for the first time or stopping by again. There’s always something happening here—events, activities, or just the natural buzz of people enjoying the space. It feels vibrant and full of life, yet still comfortable enough to relax and take in the surroundings. The mix of scenery, atmosphere, and things to do makes it a great place to spend some time. Overall, Place du Canada is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Vancouver.

Canada Place is iconic and you’ll see the seaplanes, cruise ships and famed whale statue and Olympic Cauldron. Perfect place to walk along the harbor, shop and enjoy the many restaurants. It’s usually busy given that it is by the convention center and many cruise ships dock in the area. There is also a very fun ride, FlyOver Canada that will make you feel that you are actually flying, suspended in air with an aerial and jaw dropping views of Canada. Nice activity if it’s a rainy day.

Last week was my first cruise and was pleasantly surprised how easy and efficient it was at Canada Place to drop off our luggage and proceed to get on board our ship. We walked by the day before our ship left to get a lay of the land (walking down toward the luggage drop off) and ended up taking an Uber the day of (overpackers, lol) and got down to the drop off very quickly.

A beautiful building and a must see place when visiting Vancouver. There is a hotel, convention center and other things but we go there for the beautiful views. There is a cruise ship terminal and you might see a ship docked there. You can see north and west Vancouver. There is port nearby that you can see ships being unloaded. There are benches around and the walk is beautiful by the water. The views of the city during daylight and at night are amazing. There are restaurants if you need to eat.

Visited the Flyover Canada and did the Iceland Flyover. The ride cost about 32CAD discounted for BC residents. There is a short 6 minutes show before the ride.. I did not find the intermission show interesting at all. It seems they tried to make it kids friendly but even the kids doesn’t look interested. The storyline feels disconnected. After the intermission, visitors are led to the room with the rides. It was not a full room, there were vacant sits. The actual probably took amount 10 minutes (maybe less?). The show was interesting and I enjoyed it, although thee are a lot of room for improvements. It s supposed to be a sensory ride but it was missing the sensory effects. The mist was very milk and almost nothing, would also be nice if there will be strong cold or hot air, or some fragrance. The entire experience including intermission was about less than 30 minutes ( maybe about 20) which was quite an expensive for the price. Although I enjoyed the experience, I don’t think it’s worth the price. If you are tight on budget, I would not recommend this ride. This is expensive if doing it with family. Video recording was not allowed inside so I was not able to record the experience.

Had a wonderful time visiting the Flyover. All the team members are friendly and professional. We did both offerings- Canada and Iceland.It's really amazing to feel like you're soaring through the sky! If you arrive early there's a snack shop and gift shop. Great selection to choose from too. There's also a pic you can purchase to commemorate your visit. Try it next time you are at Canada place. BTW, if you need assistance with accessibility you can easily be accommodated. There's elevators if you have trouble with climbing stairs.

I recently went to FlyOver Canada in Vancouver, and honestly, it was absolutely stunning and mesmerizing. The ride itself feels incredibly real, you really get the sensation of flying over some of Canada’s most breathtaking landscapes, like the Rockies and the vast wilderness. The visuals are spectacular, and the effects like mist, wind, and even scents totally make the experience feel immersive and unforgettable. It’s the kind of adventure that’s great for all ages and really shows off the beauty of Canada from a unique perspective. One thing I noticed though is that the pre-show introduction could be handled better. Everyone ended up standing around, which made it tough to see the screen if you’re seated and especially if you’re disabled, you don’t get the best visibility unless you’re right up front. It was a bit frustrating and could be more organized to make sure everyone can see comfortably. But once the actual ride started, all those little issues disappeared. The flight was mesmerizing and completely captivating from start to finish. I highly recommend taking some pictures after the ride at the gift shop to remember the experience. Overall, it was unforgettable and definitely worth doing if you are visiting Vancouver. It’s a perfect mix of technology and storytelling that really brings Canada to life in the most incredible way.

Totally recommend this! I’ve lived in Vancouver for years and just tried FlyOver Canada — way better than I expected. The visuals are stunning and it really feels like you’re flying. Great for families or just a fun outing. Plus, there’s a discount for BC residents — just bring some ID! I’ll definitely be back when they rotate the films.

This ride is the only one of its kind in greater Vancouver. The experience overall (including the mini film inside, lining up, the ride) lasts about 30 minutes, but the actual ride itself is about 10 minutes. My only complaint is the price is pretty steep for an attraction that is so brief.

My boyfriend and I did the Awaken Canada and Flyover Iceland experiences and absolutely loved them. We are from Toronto and really hope to see this come to us! Highly recommend you check this out. Get your tickets online before you go, they are cheaper and you can pick your time. Be prepared there is quite a wait time before you get to the actual flyover portion, however let yourself enjoy the full experience not just the main event!

Awesome totem poles that are free to view and take pictures. They have a boundary, so no one is permitted to go directly in contact with these statues. As a result, they're well kept and maintained here. There is a parking lot and a gift shop nearby. Lots of warning signs around the area about wild animals. Wide and clear walkways and paths to go on. It wasn't busy at all when we visited on a weekend afternoon. I recommend coming to see the Brockton Point Totem pole amongst other landmarks at Stanley park. It makes for a great walk along the coast line to see Vancouver!

Fantastic day out. Three thrills in one 😂😂. The view from the bridge down into the valley are amazing, the only place you cannot stop is on the stairs on or off the bridge. Then follows the tree top walk. This was beautifully lit with twinkle lights. It is a bit of a climb up but well worth it. Then we did the cliff walk which again had fantastic views. The park was prepared for Halloween so the decoration was lovely. Well worth the trip and a free shuttle bus to/from Canada Place.

Such a gorgeous place!! One of my girlfriends and I drove up for a girls weekend and had such a wonderful time visiting the park! We got lucky and had the opportunity to visit while they have all of their Halloween decorations up and it was amazing! Definitely put us in a festive mood. All of my encounters with staff were great, everyone is so friendly and seems happy to be there, and the park is so organized and clean. Definitely worth a visit!

Suspension bridge and park is very beautiful. Easily 2 hours can be spent here. Good part is to see the bridge there is not a lot of walking. It is close to the entrance. Shuttle bus service is cherry on the top. That is the only thing which makes the experience worth the ticket price. If visiting near halloween, it is more decorated. Washrooms and eatery is inside.

I absolutely loved this place. We went on an extremely pouring rainy day and it was still lovely. I can imagine it is busy during high tourist times. I'm glad we went early and during the rain. Much less people. We got to enjoy all the bridges. Walk amongst all the giant trees. Staff were helpful, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. It's kinda pricy however people need to understand the sheer amount of maintenance it takes to keep up a place like this. To keep it clean, to maintain all the wooden bridges and structures you walk on, to keep that shuttle bus free etc. Their souvenir shop was priced just as other gifts shops in Vancouver. I could've stayed all day here, even in the rain but alas the last bus leaves at 5pm.

The place is amazing. I really had a lot of fan. I was there close to Halloween, and the park was fully decorated. Everything very cleaned and organised. It's definitely worth to visit. There is a free shuttle that leaves Canada Place and stop on different hotels along the way.

Great (and challenging) hike up, but well worth the effort. Awesome views at the top. Check out the grizzly refuge, and if lucky see some colourful local birds. If you hike up the return gondola is only $25, compared to $87 for mountain admission (non resident)

We were visiting BC from the Prairies, so a gondola ride was a must! Picking one was tricky though — they all seemed a bit overpriced. We ended up choosing Grouse Mountain because of their discounted evening ticket, which felt like a good way to experience the views without breaking the bank. As expected, most of the daytime activities were closed by then, but they looked fun and worth checking out if you come earlier in the day. The ride up on the smaller gondola was smooth and enjoyable. The ride down on the larger Skyride, however, was a bit of a letdown — it was crowded, and we had to wait quite a while for it to fill before it departed. That said, the evening walk around the top was beautiful. There was lots to see, and we were lucky enough to spot deer just roaming around — and the bears were super cool to see up close! Even without all the attractions running, it was a great experience overall. Worth it for the views and wildlife alone.

Grouse Mountain was such a great experience! The Skyride up is amazing — the view of Vancouver and the ocean is unreal. There was also a really fun show that made the visit even better. I saw the grizzly bears, walked the trails, and just enjoyed the fresh air. Everything felt so peaceful and beautiful. Totally worth the trip, and I’d definitely go again!

Grouse Mountain was a great disappointment to me. I was expecting breathtaking mountain scenery like what you see in Banff Alberta but to be fair the weather wasn’t great that day- it was rainy and foggy the whole time, which really limited the views. To be honest, I didn't feel like I got to experience the mountain's natural beauty, I don’t even think there was any mountain The Gondola ride was just there never got a chance to experience lumberjack show, the wildlife viewing was limited to just 2 grizzly bears. Considering the high price point, I felt like It didn’t worth the hype. Maybe I will have to visit when the weather is better to appreciate this place.

I visited Grouse Mountain National Park recently, and it turned into quite an unexpected adventure. The day started with an unplanned downpour, heavy rain combined with poor visibility and strong winds meant most of the attractions were closed. Honestly, they should have halted ticket sales on a day like this, because literally everything was shut except for a few core offerings. When I arrived, only the gondola was operational, which thankfully gave some beautiful views despite the fog. The main restaurant was open, and I did get to see the bears in their enclosure, which was a highlight. The rest of the activities and shows — the lumberjack show stage, zipline, hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, wildlife talks, and chairlifts were closed due to weather conditions. Even the secondary eateries and shops were shuttered. One important tip: check the weather forecast before visiting. Grouse Mountain offers a range of outdoor experiences, but rain and wind can shut down almost all of them. On a clear day, you can easily spend 3–4 hours exploring everything from hiking trails to ziplining, grizzly bear viewing, dining, and panoramic mountain scenery. I just wish they had been more upfront about the closures instead of charging full price. Parking isn’t free, so plan for that in your budget. Even with the closures and weather challenges, riding the gondola up and seeing the bears made it a memorable trip. On a sunny day, I’m sure it would be absolutely spectacular. ** They have Starbucks on site ** During rain, Gondola glass gets foggy and drops don’t slide down - there’s literally no visibility to the scenery outside.

Great moderate hike. It’s essentially a couple miles of stairs but that makes for a great workout. I drank a couple bottles of water (1.5 l). I saw a guy who looked in distress and gave him some water. There’s also a water station in the gondola center. Very nice views on top. It’s a one way hike. You have to take a different route down or the gondola down. You can get gondola tickets at a discount online. Nice views on top. There’s also a couple of bears you can check out and a zip line. Best to make an appointment for the zip line.

had a great time at grouse mountain. We did the grouse grind (as a beginner took 1h50min). then we ate at the top, walked around, saw the bears and lumberjack show, it was amazing! I was glad the gondola ticket was not too expensive, only $20 per adult (download ticket). I would recommend and would go back here!
