Hiking area
Pointe-à-la-Renommée Lighthouse is a must-see during a trip to Gaspe. The lighthouse, one of the oldest in the area, offers guided tours for a small fee. It's situated in an area with beautiful views and well-maintained facilities including clean washrooms and a small gift shop. However, it's important to note that the road leading to the lighthouse can be challenging due to narrow unpaved sections with loose rocks.
It is not an easy access location, you have to drive on an unpaved road for about 4 km to get there. The wind was pretty strong when we were there. The lighthouse views were worth the effort.
Patrick X — Google review
The road that leads to this lighthouse is no joke. It’s total gravel and there are some steep inclines. Only strong vehicles can do that. It’s a beautiful lighthouse but there is no other way to reach here. Unfortunately, I went in the evening so could not go inside the lighthouse but the outside view was beautiful as well.
Malveeca G — Google review
Truly a beautiful spot. Stunning views. Well worth the short hike off main hwy. Staff friendly and helpful. Saw a lot of seals, porpise and many gannets.
Marcel L — Google review
WOW, just WOW. The scenery is absolutely stunning, but you must drive with EXTREME CAUTION. The road is extremely steep, narrow, and unpaved with gravel. The ride is very bumpy. Make sure to engine brake on the downhill sections or you risk overheating your brake.
Fredericcc — Google review
Worth the backroad detour off the main road. Closed when we arrived but sunset and views were astounding.

The most beautiful light house during Gaspe trip. Very well maintained. Very small visiting fees ($4) which is worth. Very clean washrooms. And they have a small gift shop in the ticket office. Have to take few stairs to get close to the light house. The way up to the light house is not good for small cars.
Amit B — Google review
Must visit the place.. There is a small fee for the entrance.. But worth it.. You can go inside the light house and watch the ocean from there.. Also there is a guide available to explain the history about the place and activities.. Also there is a trial, which is also nice for those who like to explore more...

Lovely bay and nice views from the grounds with lighthouse in the shot. Nice interesting gravel road to access the parking. Please don't change a thing.

The experience was wonderfully surprising. The only negative point is that they let in a lot of people at the same time and it gets a bit crowded and you end up walking faster to get away from the crowds. So, try to walk slowly and enjoy the lights

(Translated by Google) Great activity for the family. The children really liked it!! The only downside is that some areas are poorly lit and as it is a forest floor, it can be easy to get your feet caught in branches or rocks. (Original) Belle activité pour la famille. Les enfants ont beaucoup aimé!! Seul petit bémol, certains endroits sont mal éclairés et comme il s'agit d'un sol forestier, il peut être facile de s'accrocher les pieds dans des branches ou des roches.

The price remains reasonable for what we got. (Original) Nous avons été malchanceuse car une des scènes a été détruite par un éclair. (Translated by Google) A little disappointed, I expected a better experience. Even the bus drivers who take you to the site didn't make you want to go there. However, once on the site, it is still a great experience in the forest. To do if you have time but it's not worth coming from far for it. Cap de la Madeleine Lighthouse

A nice place for a stop by Route 132 and to learn local history. Built in 1908, the lighthouse has been designated as a Canadian heritage site. For a small fee ($5/adult) you can climb the lighthouse for excellent views of the surrounding bay and windmills in the distance. There's also a museum on site if you want to learn more and there are benches, a playground and a park if you want to take an extended break.

The washroom sign led us here, what a beautiful lighthouse. Picturesque scenery. Clean washroom. A good place for a break.

Nice quick stop on the way to Gaspé. The lighthouse is small but the view over the cliffs and ocean is wide and peaceful. No need to stay long — just a good spot to stretch your legs, breathe the sea air, and enjoy the scenery for a few minutes. Quiet and not crowded.

wel ..its a lighthouse... next to water.. pretty to look at... appears you can go up to the top ... fairly quiet spot... small gift shop/ store right there.... the view is awesome... there is a fair bit of parking and there are washrooms on site if needed.. rwally good apot to take a great and enjoy the view

If you’re into rocks, this place is not to be missed! You’ll be leaving with a sack full of unique souvenirs. It’s fairly easy to get to: from either the north or south, Route 299 is a paved highway. Once you make the turn east toward the mine, the gravel road can be bumpy but passable - just slow down! It’s only a couple of kilometers. The driveway to the mine itself is a more rutted, but it, too, is passable - just take it slowly and carefully. The parking lot is level and spacious. A friendly greeting at the office - I’m not going to lie, you’ll get more out of the initial instructions if you understand French - and they set you up very efficiently: a 5-gallon bucket strapped to a hand truck, and rock hammers for everyone in your party. And off you go! From the reception, it’s a short, shady walk to the first digging site. You’ll pass the stone-cutter along the way. I had two dogs in tow, so I didn’t wander too far from the easy-access front of the first dig site. But the site is several terraced acres, so an adventurous soul could explore further. There is also a second dig site, but I didn’t go to it. Once you have a satisfactory amount of stones, you return to the stone-cutting shed. FYI, you pay for every cut stone that you want - this is where this outing can become an expensive proposition! So keep that in mind as you are collecting your rough rocks at the dig site. Also, the stone cutter speaks only French. You lay out your stones, and the stone cutter chooses 3-4 stones that he thinks will yield the best results. If you are happy with those results, he will write up a receipt and send you on your way. If you want additional stones cut, you will need to negotiate with him. Then you wheel back to the entrance. There are toilets and clean-up sinks there. I would definitely come here whenever I happened to be in the area. I was able to navigate the process easily with my two leashed dogs, and there were lots of families with little kids, as well. The folks in charge were very welcoming, and the mine itself offered a rockhounding experience that I thought I would need to travel out west for.
MW C — Google review
Fun family activity, especially for kids. About 15 min drive from the national park. Dirt road to get there. No shade on the mine, so use sunscreen and bring water. Not cheap at 75$ for a family of four. Then you need to pay for each rock you want to cut depending on size (about 8$ to 30$ per rock). That part is not clear from the website. It's still an interesting activity that is out of the ordinary. Would be nice to have some scientific information as part of the activity...
Arthur D — Google review
Okay, if you start your journey going up the road thinking “you should have bought a squirrel”, then believe it or not, you’re on the right trail. Cash only establishment so after paying $40 per person if you want your own bucket. but if you share the bucket, each additional person is $20. I recommend to have an extra $40 per person for the rock cutting fee. The next part is very important: I spent about an hour waiting in line looking at the other rocks people were cutting and I learned the following… #1) do not waste your time looking for midsize rocks (ie the size of your hands to both hands cupped together). Look for a rock that is the size of your head. So keep chipping away at the dirt until you find one. #2). You’ll be tempted to keep medium sized ones. Focus on getting one big one instead of a rock pile of maybes. The guides will end up tossing them out and may not even bother cutting them #3). It will take approximately 15 minutes of digging in one spot to find a big one so do not give up. #4) one rock can satisfy two people. So the more you share the cheaper it gets #5) I had better luck in the upper quarry. Warning: staff is very kind but be wary of the answer to your query.
Severine G — Google review
If you don’t come home with an agate or thunder egg, you probably weren’t here. This place is an old volcano and according to the owners will generate agates etc. For at least 800 more years. You get a bucket and a,pick hammer and all the time you need. They advice on which to cut and if it is a dud it is free (cuts are between 5 and 30 dollar dependent on size). We found lots of great stuff and look forward to do more cutting at home. Overall the price is worth it if you are a rock hound or just want to do something different. By the way, the big block on the left on the selection/sizing table is not from the mine but was found in Blomidon, Nova Scotia and brought here to be sawed.

Such a fun experience! My daughter loves collecting rocks, so digging for geodes was a must do while in Gaspesie. I made a mistake with my reservation time, but called to let them know we where going to arrive late. The lady on the phone was super accommodating. When we arrived, we were given instructions on what to look for and what to leave behind. we left with a trunk full of geodes and rocks. Bring a hat, it's hot!
Kerry H — Google review
It is quite a unique experience. The owner is very friendly even when we choose to communicate in English. I'd hope there can be more explanation on the geology and formation of the gemstone other than just how to find them. I find having them cutting the stone might be a bit expensive and might not get you the best result. I'd rather brake the stone open at home with a hammer and get a Dremel Rotatory tool to cut and polish gems yourselves. Or more easier just get a rock tumbler.
Edward Y — Google review
We arrived there at closing time. Since there’s no network on the way there we didn’t know what time it was closing because we decided on a whim to go when we saw the sign. We were greeted by a man who clearly was fed up of his day waving his arms like “go away” telling us with an angry face that we were “arriving at closing time” rolling his eyes at us like we knew when it was closing (again, no network in the area). It was 3:30pm on a Monday.

Gaspesie National Park

National park
Nature & Parks
National park lodging offering modern rooms with Wi-Fi, plus casual dining, hiking & a pool.
Hiked up Mont Ernest-Laforce (820 M) spectacular 360° views of Mont Albert, Mont Hog's Back, etc. Terrain is rugged in a fun way, you don't need to be an athlete to get to the top, but you feel like one when you get there. Also did the easy hike to Lac-aux-Américains (cirque/glacial basin). Wonderful scenery, beautiful part of the planet.
MR — Google review
The park itself is beautiful. Lots of great scenery. However we were overall disappointed with our stay here. After about 3hrs of being at the park a park ranger approached our site, refused to speak English. Luckily my wife could understand enough french to gather that he had showed up because someone complained about our dogs barking, which they weren't barking much. A couple of dogs at other campsites were barking much more than ours but somehow we got the complaints. After that we were on edge the entire stay as he told us if we get another complaint we would be kicked out. A few campsites down from us someone was playing music at night. Which is against the rules and most people in the park were unfriendly. The only washroom in the campground has only two toilets. We did our best to try and enjoy our time there but it was not a place I would return. This park is not dog friendly even though they say they allow dogs.
Matt — Google review
It is a gloomy park with unreliable weather and trail conditions. There is often fog, light rain and high humidity. In July and August, it can be very hot (even dangerously hot), especially high up on bare mountain tops but still, it can be extremely muddy and buggy at the same time. Suddenly, it can cool down and become uncomfortable in the evenings and very cool at night. There is a good chance to see wildlife, enjoy breathtaking lookout views and experience challenges of uphill hiking on a rocky terrain. There is a section of the International Appalachian Trail winding through the park West to East. But beware of the western part... It is very isolated, muddy and buggy in summer and doesn't offer any great views just the challenge of hiking in the mud.... I would not recommend going anywhere west of Cascapedia: don't waste your time and energy. Staying on a campsite and enjoying day hikes while exploring different sections of the park is probably the best option and the safest.
Natalia S — Google review
REVIEW FOR DOG OWNERS: TL;DR: This park is not dog friendly at all I do not recommend you visit this park if you want to bring dogs. Online there are resources indicating that some trails are dog friendly. However, those trails are 1% of what the park has to offer. Unless you're happy with going to this park and having a 40 min hike then leaving, you shouldnt bother stoping here. I'd recommend much more that you visit Forillon park which has no limitations on dogs. It is a shame that the park doesn't do a good enough job explaining how little you can explore with your dogs. I felt a bit misdirected by their online map which shows long green trails, these are actually just paths you are allowed to have your dog in the car with you, not real trails. The only real trail is a 40 min small ( and beautiful) hike. The park is extremely strict. It is filled with multiple large "No dog allowed" signed at every corner. Making it very clear that dogs are not welcomed. P.S. Don't even try sneaking them in because there are fines and potential park expulsion for bringing your dogs to an unauthorized zone.
David R — Google review
This park is natural beauty at its very best, you see an untamed nature showing its most beautiful side with dollops of fresh air and clean water in unbridled rivers! Located at a distance of 30 minutes from Saint Ann Des Monts, you first arrive at the discovery centre where you buy tickets for access to the national park, as is a constant fixture there is ample parking and clean rest room facilities at the centre. There is a small cafe and a gift shop as well, if you plan to hike it is a good idea to buy some trail mix or water in case you havent brought it with you. Once you have bought the tickets (day tickets or season pass) you have a multitude of options in front of you from a hiking standpoint: 1. Different difficult levels - Easy, Intermediate, Difficult, Extreme 2. Different options based on distance and time Once you select a hiking trail you can easily follow the signs and enjoy the walkathon! Experienced hikers should definitely go for difficult and extreme, while newbies (and old people or parent(s) with smalls kids) should go for the easy option. As is with any hike please ensure you have the right foot wear, sun glasses, plenty of water, walking sticks etc. The picturesque walks have been curated with a lot of thought and you will find the most scenic pathways anywhere in the world here. Take care to not disturb the flora and fauna and enjoy it as if visiting a museum or an art exhibition. We opted for a hike that was graded as easy though gradually liked it so much that went in for the Difficult one, and boy was it difficult, the climb was steep and had rocks and pebbles all over. But the final view was worth it. Once you are in the jungle there are no restroom facilities and signal is low, do not stray from the path crafted and take care to have bug spray as well as sun glasses for your eyes. I would love to visit back and complete all the trails in the future, this was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, thanks to Sepaq for crafting and maintaining this wonderful gift of nature.
H S — Google review
One of the best parks I have visited on the east side of Canada. Truly a marvel of beauty. The hike is on the more difficult side, but absolutely worth it to get to the summit and take in the view of the mountains. Depending on the time of year, you may experience different microclimates during ascent, which is a very cool experience!
Jenna L — Google review
Extraordinarily beautiful place. Lots of mountain trails and lakes to explore. One of our favourite parts of the trip was walking the Tour du Mont Albert, an 8-hour trail. A difficult uphill climb led to beautiful mountain views and a plateau, followed by a steep rocky descent and a long bumpy trail between Mont Albert and the surrounding mountains. The terrain was difficult for nearly the entire walk, so I wouldn’t recommend it for young children or seniors. For my husband, my 15 year old daughter, and me, it was a fun challenge and an amazing experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of our 10 days trip in the Gaspé region. Definitely a place to go for anyone love hiking or nature in general.
Maggie S — Google review
Beautiful, massive park--so many options and trails for those of all abilities. The roads to get to the main building are very well maintained and although windy, smooth. We did a few hikes, but the only downside is that very few trails allow dogs, so our options were limited :( My boyfriend enjoyed some fishing along the rivers, but you must get a SEPAQ permit first!

This is one of those places you should stop by to see "the Cadillac of lighthouses". It holds so much of the history of Canada. I recommend the history tour. Not just the climb up and down.

A must visit spot while traveling on the famous scenic route 132. This lighthouse gets a pretty cute look due to the red paint. The view overlooking the bay is pretty scenic. This is a great stop to capture beautiful pictures. The historic significance of this lighthouse boosts its value.

Exploramer is a small aquarium and museum located in Ste. Anne des Monts, offering a variety of activities for families. The museum features fun facts about sharks and interactive exhibits for kids, while the aquarium showcases aquatic plants and fish from the Saint Lawrence River. Visitors can enjoy touch tank demonstrations and explore the diverse marine life found in the region. The on-site Restaurant du Quai provides a delightful dining experience with its popular soup, although it tends to sell out quickly due to high demand.
Nice place to visit to get information on the St-Lawrence under water creatures. They also had an informative session where you are also able to hold some of the species. Great little spot that will take you about two hours to visit and then a cute little boutique on the way out.

Stopped in as a last minute decision and we were so glad we didn’t miss it. The tactile experience was so much fun and you get to hold a crab, pet a sea urchin, and caress a sea cucumber. We even saw an over zealous shrimp going around in circles (see video). Great gift shop.
Severine G — Google review
I visited the museum only (20$ ish), I am aware that they have other activities like cruises. In the museum, the top floor presents the various creatures living in the Saint-Lawrence: birds, fishes, molluscs... The bottom floor presents some of them in aquariums. There is also an animation that lets you handle some smaller shellfish. For me, seeing the cod was what concluded my tour around the Gaspé Peninsula. Low season in early september. No wait, no need to reserve.
Émanuel R — Google review
Unless your city doesn’t have an aquarium, I honestly wouldn’t recommend coming here — it’s just not worth it. I’m from Québec City, and our aquarium costs $25 and offers so much more in terms of size, variety, and overall experience. Exploramer only has two levels: the basement has a small selection of marine animals, and the second floor just features some exhibition pieces — and that’s it. I was really disappointed, especially after driving all the way here expecting something more. That said, I want to give credit where it’s due. One highlight was the passionate staff. I saw a man with a bun enthusiastically explaining fish and letting people touch some marine animals. His energy and dedication stood out, and I’m giving an extra star just for him. Without that, it would have been a 1-star visit.
张潇潇 — Google review
We did the morning fishing trip, our guide and captain were amazing! No luck catching fish but had a great time nonetheless. The boat was equipment with an interactive screen with lots of educational material. Dis the museum visit after and loved the "bassin tactile" where you could learn about different marine creatures and touch them"

We took the Discover the St. Lawrence boat tour. While we’re sure this was a very good informative experience for the dozen or so French-speaking people who are everyone but the two of us, none of the narration about the lobsters and crabs which were hauled in for a demo was in English!!! This was after we let the tour guide in advance we were English speaking tourists to the region. It was a very disappointing experience and not worth the $60+ paid for the tour. The exhibits and educational displays in the centre were bilingual and were offered good information about the river and the gulf.
Gayathri H — Google review
I highly recommend this aquarium - it is a spectacular crash course in the aquatic biosphere of the St Lawrence. The exhibits and tanks are recent and well maintained and all placards are available in French and English. The Exploramer project team of the temporary exhibit should be especially proud. My partner and I were in awe of the immersive experience and detail considered. I learned a lot at this aquarium and yes, while smaller than some others in larger cities, the focused and dedicated facilities on the St. Lawrence biospheres are worthy of visiting. The facility remains well updated with current findings and events. I think I've even been convinced to exclusively buy eco cleaning and showering products! We enjoyed a nice coffee at the cafe afterwards and found really interesting food products in the gift shop. Bravo team - lovely facility and I hope to visit again sometime in the future!

Chocolaterie Couleur Chocolat is a small chocolate factory located in a residential area of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. The shop offers a delightful array of chocolates, including ganaches in various flavors, milk and dark chocolate bars, stuffed bars with passion fruit ganache, and other creative offerings. Visitors can watch expert chocolatiers at work as they craft the delectable treats.
Hands down some of the most delicious, smooth, perfect chocolate I have ever tasted in my life. Wish they sold it in Ontario, however, I’d be broke!
Lindsey K — Google review
The chocolate is exquisite, although expensive. We were offered a sample of a black chocolate with raspberry center, which was delicious. We brought a couple of their chocolates back. We recently had the black chocolate with ganache bar and it was so good!

Hidden away on a side street in this seaside town is a chocolate-lover’s paradise. The subtle aroma of fine chocolate as you walk in is just the beginning. Wide variety of treats, helpful & friendly service, and the best chocolate I have tasted anywhere. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality. I dare you to walk out empty-handed!

Ordered a mango/vanilla ice cream cone dipped in yuzu (japanese lemon) - it was exceptionally delicious! Highly recommend 💖
Marika D — Google review
I went there a few times for the ice-cream. My favorite was strawberry with white chocolate. Super tasty! I bought there milk chocolate bar (excellent, not oversweet, delicate cocoa taste), a white chocolate bar (a tad too sweet to my liking), and the chocolate starfish. The starfish I brought home and haven't open yet;) The price is OK for the quality. Definitely recommend this place.

Can't tell about the service as I bought their product at a partner store. But... Those are the best chocolates I have ever tasted. The flavour is interesting, but not too weird (like de grandbois). The texture is just perfect. The shells are just the right thickness, showing great workmanship. They're sweet but not too much. Lastly, for such artisan products, with great ingredients, they manage to have an absolutely amazing shelf life. I don't have a clue how they manage their aw index, but again great technique. Will definitely buy again. Was impressed.

Projet Éole

Project Éole is the world's largest Darrieus vertical axis wind turbine. Its unique shape makes it stand out immediately from all the other wind turbines in the vicinity and although it has been inactive since the early 90s, it's a testament to the forward thinking of Canadian engineers of the time. The site now serves as a museum which goes over the history of wind turbines in the area and how the Cap Chat site became a testbed for vertical axis wind farms which have an advantage over conventional turbines in that they're less prone to variations in wind direction. The surrounding wind farm is still the largest in the Gaspesie region and served to accelerate its spread across Eastern Canada. The curator is fully bilingual and very knowledgeable about the associated technologies. There are several displays around the grounds and you can also walk inside the control room and base of the turbine. Unfortunately not all of the displays have been translated into English, however the image translation via Google Translate seems to work fine for the most part. The site also offers excellent views of the ocean and several trails. It's definitely well worth a visit for those who have an interest in science, technology and sustainability.

While visiting in Gosses Roches in the Gaspésie area, a local suggested we go visit this place, glad we did. Quite an impressive structure and very interesting to see and hear how Hydro Quebec started to explore wind energy in the '80s. The owner Benjamin is very well versed, he knows all his facts and did a great job at explaining to us the history, all of the occurring events and updated facts on where the technology and industries are today. The ticket price is $15 per adult which is very reasonable considering it will take you about an hour for the while tour which includes you visiting the premises. Great spot, we learned so much about wind energy and it's evolution.
Tasso D — Google review
This museum is just in the beginning of its path, but I am glad they try to make this place educational and interesting. Otherwise it would have been just a memory of a project someone did years ago and no one knows what to do with it now :-) If you are interested in wind power generation - you should visit. This was the first time I could get so close to the actual working generator and to find how big they are and about the complexities of the technology. There's also much to see about real big machinery. Add here an ability to see the world from the top of the tower (through VR so far, but that's just for now) and a nice merch boutique. Most texts on the posters are only in French yet, but they are working on it and the guides do speak English, so they will be able to just tell you everything in case you can't read in French. Definitely worth the time! I wish the project the best of luck!

A must visit for a science enthusiast. An even more important visit for someone who isn’t in order to actually see the wonders of science. I’d recommend this must visit to everyone who drives past here. You can spend up to an hour here but leave behind with a lifetime of scientific curiosity. I would also like to thank the staff for explaining everything. They care about their visitors. Also they are friendly in both english and French which is advantageous

Located in Grand-Métis, these English-style gardens host 3,000 varieties of native & exotic plants.
We stopped here on the way to Gaspe National Park and what a fantastic stop. The gardens are very well put together and will take you anywhere between 1-3 hours to explore depending on your pace. The price $25 per person. You will get an armband that will make you eligible for 15% discount to a few other attractions on the peninsula. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend, we go every year, immaculately maintained large, sprawling gardens and paths with a pond, villa with exhibits, a gourmet restaurant and some snack and coffee spots, and even modern landscape festival. Spent a couple of hours on a beautiful day, enjoying the quiet and the beautiful smells. Hundreds of species of trees and flowers. A babbling brook flowing throughout. Definitely worth a few hours of your time; it will increase your quality of life.

Beautiful garden and structures made by artists from all over the world. Makes you travel through theme gardens from the azalea, to the royal alley and forest areas, all accessible by wheel chair which are also available to rent when you come for a visit if need be. Restaurant has a good menu and plenty of places on site to sit and meditate or contemplate. Would definetly recommend the detour followed by a drive in the village de metis. Takes approx leisurely 2 hours to explore the gardens and installations for interactive activities.

Centre d'Art Marcel Gagnon is a charming riverside guesthouse near Rimouski, offering country-style rooms and a warm restaurant. Despite the small room and tiny ensuite, guests were pleased with their stay. The on-site dinner was described as amazing, prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Visitors also had the opportunity to explore the extraordinary art gallery, where they were captivated by unique and mesmerizing artworks that showcased remarkable creativity and skill.
We were just driving by and had to stop. Very unique. Absolutely worth the visit. We walked through the art gallery, then walked along the boardwalk admiring the sculptures. There are rooms available but we didn't stay there. Go check it out 😄.

Outstanding park run by a non profit org. The Aventurier trail is highly recommended and about 5km total distance (easy/intermediate difficulty). There is a play area with game modules for kids, RV camping spots but no tent camping. The beach is magnificent and at low tide you can walk almost a kilometre away from the shore and, if lucky, see sunbathing sea-lions. Highly recommended but bring food and water prior to entry as there is nothing on site and the nearby dépanneur is poorly stocked.

Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père (SHMP)

Specialty Museums
The Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père (SHMP) in Rimouski, Quebec is a historical maritime museum that offers exhibits on the tragic sinking of the Empress of Ireland in 1914, which resulted in over 1,000 deaths. The museum showcases photos, testimonies, and artifacts recovered from the wreckage. Visitors can also enjoy a multimedia presentation recounting the ship's final voyage.
It is a historic place, moreover, it's a historical complex of 3 excellent attractions, all super interesting, this is the "ONONDAGA" Submarine... Despite having been in the army, had never been on this type of ship, so To explain everything they created an audio system with 17 points, so you can listen to the explanatory audio as you go passing through each compartment of the submarine point by point, and if you have a minimum of imagination, you can place yourself in time and situation, as if you were in an action film or a documentary. The state of conservation and originality of the ship is remarkable despite the fact that many visitors pass by the place every day, but externally it is the weakest point of conservation due to exposure to the elements and inclement weather, which in winter is not friendly, which is understandable A place that deserves a stop to be enjoyed, very well explained and easy to access, I recommend it 100% and see the images.
Osvaldo H — Google review
First of all, this is an under-appreciated event in Canadian history, on par with the Titanic and overshadowed by the impending Great War. So to visit the museum with a lot of informative artifacts, one gets the sense of the tragedy. The visit features a video presentation which is best experienced before one goes through the exhibits. It is sad to realize that for many years the wreck sure was unprotected and scavenged by divers from all over.
Mark N — Google review
I only saw the Onondaga and it was definitely an experience to be had in person. The submarine was super cool to walk through and interact with, and the audioguide was informative albeit a bit long for the pacing. The lighthouse was free on Canada Day but you have to go up with an hourly tour so unfortunately I didn’t have time to go.

It's a must do experience but I'm giving it only 4 stars due to the overcrowding on the submarine. People are packed in and some pushing involved so it's not a place for even the mildly claustrophobic

We had a wonderful experience during the first six days of our Quebec visit - until we visited this tourist information office. We were looking for a map of Quebec. When we entered the building 2 other visitors were being served. Soon one visitor was finished - we had been standing waiting - the staff person rather than acknowledging us turned away to join the other staff. We had to try to get her attention which she finally gave us reluctently. We were speaking english - her reation 'appeared' to be sullen and uninterested. We asked for a Quebec map (which was available) but she said to go to the library! We did convince her to show us the map which we bought - no thank you - no positive ineraction - left us feeling that she would have prefered we were not there! All of our other experiences with Quebecers had been welcoming and friendly - with the exception of this lady - supposedly a representative of the province.

Picturesque canyon featuring a network of walking/hiking trails, campsites & a suspended footbridge.
Adorable walk by the river with beautiful views. They have the biggest suspended footbridge a great waterfall, you can hike and trek, you can bring your picnic and enjoy the nature. They have a labyrinth that worth the visit. We spent tree wonderful hour. Family quality time, for sure.

This was very much worth visiting. They’ve gone to tremendous effort to create a beautiful path (natural trails, boardwalks, and stairs) leading to excellent views and a very cool suspension bridge. There are so many wonderful opportunities for incredible photos. We were greeted at the entrance by a very welcoming young man who explained everything we needed to know. We attempted our very limited French, but he quickly let us off the hook and guided us in our first language of English. Many thanks for accommodating us. We’re working on it. It was a pretty demanding walk, with options to skip the really steep stairs. But I feel the extra stairs were worth the energy is took. Bring water and bug spray. They do sell both at the gate if you forget.

It's beautiful and offer great scenic view.it has two beautiful waterfalls.one small at start with 1 km trail and other at 3km trail is big one.you should go down to big falls..but in returning you have to climb 300steps :). I spotted small snake which returning from my trail..got scared as I visited alone and there is hardly 5-10 people on the park on Saturday. Also some mosquitos not allow me to have lot of fun.. but I cover my head and they are gone.. enjoy the park.

Very beautiful park, well done trails all made of wood, lacks resting place, very long trail but do not go if very humid and hot, you must bring water with you. The trail is very very long. Beauséjour Park

Nature & Parks
Beauséjour Park, located on the Rimouski River, offers a variety of activities for visitors throughout the year. In winter, it provides opportunities for ice skating and sledding, while in summer, visitors can enjoy a splash pad and pétanque. The park features a children's playground with water activities, a skateboard/BMX area, picnic tables, and volleyball nets.
Beautiful visit to a great park. You can go and make a picnic eating near by the river, after, you can take a walk and observe the great sculptures they have there.

Amazing place for kids and grown ups!! The park is big and if you keep walking you will come across a very long hiking trail all the way to Dynamo and beyond.

What a great park just a few minutes from downtown Rimouski. The park includes a children's playground including water activities, skateboard/bmx area, picnic tables, and volleyball nets. There are public bathrooms and an ice cream shop. The main interest would probably be the multitudes of trails that are shared between cyclists and hikers. Winters also cater to cross country skiers and snowshoeing. There are a few areas that are used as beaches (no sand but mostly small smooth pebbles/rocks). There is also an area dedicated to mountain biking with trails ranging from easy to difficult (I included a map of the trails). These trails can be found after crossing the bridge at the Dynamo (which is also a little beach area)

Parc national du Bic is a vast natural area offering year-round recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and birdwatching. The park is renowned for its stunning sunsets over the St. Laurence River, diverse wildlife, and rocky shoreline influenced by tides. Visitors can explore Le Grand Tour trail for an incredible experience.
One of Quebec's beloved national park. The coastal scenery really is something to behold. I'd recommend you sync with the tides and at least do the 'grand tour' hike, which, in my opinion, showcases the best the beauty of the area.

We stayed at Parc National Dubique in Quebec, booking a yurt in the Tolombo area. The yurt itself was fairly clean, though it could have been better. We faced a lot of bees and bugs, which became quite annoying as there’s no screen on the door. Do note that you’ll need to bring your own bedding since blankets and sheets aren't provided. The park lacks some basic amenities that would make the experience more comfortable, especially considering the cost. There’s no shower in the yurt area; instead, there's a small, shared shower at the reception that's dark, has a noticeable odor, and limits you to a quick four-minute wash. It felt uncomfortable, and given the price, we expected a bit more convenience. There’s also no private washroom. A shared one is available, but it lacks a sink, and there’s no running water. We had to wash our hands, dishes, and even brush our teeth with very cold water outside. While the lack of facilities was a bit challenging, the park did provide ample firewood both inside and outside the yurt, which was very generous. On the positive side, the dishes and cooking utensils were provided, and it was convenient to have a refrigerator—though without a freezer, which was unusual. Staff occasionally drive by, and if you’re lucky to catch them, you can ask them to stop to answer questions or provide anything you need. They were very kind and respectful, though communication was a bit tricky as they spoke only French, so we used a translator. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite these challenges. The park is conveniently located, though its proximity to the highway does mean occasional noise from passing cars. Staying in October, we found the yurt a bit too chilly at night, as the heater was quite small, so winter stays might be particularly cold. While the experience had its charms, we felt it was a bit pricey for the limited facilities. However, if you’re well-prepared for a rustic stay, it’s still a pleasant spot to unwind and enjoy nature.

Beautiful park. We stayed in Macreuse Campground, Site 14 - a back-in site with 30 amp power hook-up and water hook-up. The Macreuse Campground is adjacent to the highway, so expect some road noise. Not too much at night. Staff was helpful. Nice to be close to the wonderful hiking trails and water front. Rate includes daily park entrance fee. Campground is open and would benefit by some tree plantings, but site were generously spaced.

Very beautiful. A lot of different trails. Some harder and some great to bring kids and dogs. You need to check for the tide in advance, some trails are not easily accessible when the water level is high in the morning. In the early afternoon when the water is at the lowest you can easily walk around (bring good shoes you don't mind getting muddy!") La ferme Rioux is a great spot to access it by the beach. "Le grand tour" is definitely a must but a little difficult. For an easier one, I recommend "la Champlain" it's not too hard and dog friendly. The view at the top is wonderful, there's a nice observation deck with a few tables and benches and a toilet at the top.

Beautiful area! Almost feels like the ocean! We had lots of fun with the kids. We went on the bike trail which is awesome! You can go anywhere by using it. Only thing is that a lot of the sites are on an old farm, so basically no trees and totally exposed to the weather.

We stayed at Parc Bic for 3 days. We had a wonderful stay. Full of activities to do. Contactless check in, able to drive directly to the campsite. The only thing we didn't like, most campsites are wide open and lack privacy. Our campsite was close to the highway that you can hear cars and trucks going by. They have many clean bathroom/shower houses and kitchen sinks to wash dishes. We loved the hike. The low tide was 10:38 and we started our hike at 10:30 to Cap-à-l' Original. It was a beautiful hike, but challenging due to the rocky terrain. Not recommended to hike with small children. Our teenage children loved it. It took about 50 mins to Cap-à-l' Original from P2 parking lot. P1 was already full when we arrived. Recommend to go there early in the morning. Parking at P2 will add 10 minutes of extra walk to the start point of the trails. After we finished our lunch at the Cap-à-l' Original's beach, we took Le Contrebandler and Les Escallers to Le Scoggan. Pretty easy hike trails in the forest under shades. Then, we took La Pinède to the look out point. The view was breathtaking. The trail had multiple ups and downs to the look out spot. Moderate hike, not much shades. Then we took the rest of Scoggan and went back to P2. It took us 3.5 hr to complete the 10 km, including the lunch break. We also booked a kayaking tour @16:00. The meeting spot is 5 minute drive from Park Bic camp ground. We were hoping to see some seals, but we saw none..,but the sensory was spectacular. It was a super windy afternoon that we used tandem kayaks. The sunset was 20:08 and the sky was just beautiful when we were heading back to the shore. There is an excellent sunset watching spot right at the shore as well. A grocery store is only 8 minutes away by car. Convenient but pricey grocery store.

A beautiful Park with hiking trails for all ages! Weather you want a nice walk by the water, or want to scale some rocks for a unique view, this Park has it all! This is a wonderful Park filled with active wildlife. I highly recommend this as a stop to anyone passing by, even if it's just a quick stroll

Great camping spot! Lots of camping spots, firewood and gift shop/convenient store on site. Designated areas for dogs: There is 1 camping area and one trail that allows dogs and the rest of the grounds are off limits, just keep that in mind if you plan to roam around or are there specifically to go seal watching. The dog-allowed camping area is also near the highway, which can be noisy at times, but did not bother us much. We would gladly stay here again.

Exceptional church with a profusion of marble columns, it must indeed be an incredible feeling to have built such a house of worship when you contrast it with your typical church in the US. The wooden sculptures are also very impressive.

I’m a big fan of religious architecture. Too bad it’s closed today Monday (and perhaps every Monday?) There were other people wanting to go inside during my visit. The parish should claim this location on google maps and put their hours on here for other tourists, especially it takes a while to get to. But I still love what I saw - the town is nice, the surroundings, the river, and the exterior of the church.

It was really special that we took the ferry at 4:30am. We saw the moon goes down and sunrise from the sea! It's stunning 😍😍😍 And it's intertesting that the ferry plays "Here Comes The Sun" By Beetles when sunrise from the sea level! Wonderful experience ever! Definitely highly recommended !
Tara W — Google review
The ferry was built 1973, and already showing her age, crossing is smooth, vehicles are parked tight to each other, you'll be able to spot some whales during the crossing. Good experience.
John L — Google review
Great little ferry. Easy crossings. Staff are professional at what they do and how they treat their clients.
Hedia — Google review
First of all, it's a beautiful ferry ride across the St. Lawrence and there is a chance to see whales!!! The ferry is clean and comfortable. It's also a convenient way to cross the St. Lawrence and a somewhat unique activity! Highly recommend!! Also, this company has 5* customer service! I had a reservation and my car broke down, literally right before I was supposed to load. They so kindly changed the ticket not once but twice for me, free of charge due to the extenuating circumstances. I'm so grateful for their assistance and look forward to crossing with them again in the future.
Catherine O — Google review
Great bistro inside for a very reasonable price. Breakfast options, as well as snacks. They also sell kombucha, hot beverages and alcohol. I would suggest getting out of the car rapidly as there is minimal seat availability inside when the weather is not so great.
Mia D — Google review
Didn't have a reservation but there's a standby lane and if there are any cancellations, they let you in! Trois-Pistoles staff were friendly, nice & knowledgable. Onboard staff is also great, they make tasty ham & cheese paninis. Washrooms on ferry are clean & there's definitely enough room to sit, but most seats were empty as everyone was outside hoping to see a whale. No whales on my crossing, but saw a few dolphins! Great first time crossing experience! Worth every penny.

I didnt get to actually use the ferry, but i felt that the online reservation process left a lot to be desired. In order to reserve online, you must create an account first. The application will let you make the reservation, including taking down your credit card information, EVEN if the ferry is already full, and you get. A message saying that the transaction has been successful. You wait and wait for your email confirming your reservation. When that didn't happen, i had to call the office, and as ofice hours are limited, i had to wait until the following morning to figure out whether i was on the ferry or not. It took wo phone calls and one email to igure all o this out. Eventually i was told that i wasn't on the ferry. I am sure there is an easier and more user friendly way of doing this

Best whale watching experience. These are unforgettable moments. I recommend Croisière Escoumins as they managed the whole tour really well. The boat was quickly manoeuvred in the direction of the whales. Cheers to Emily for being an amazing and knowledgeable guide. We are very much pleased and humbled by our whale watching experience it’s a must to be put on your bucket list.

The place and staff were professional and friendly. Boat ride was great but unfortunately whales didn’t wanna come out for the show 😬 Only drawback was the incline down to the boat (not feasible for people with mobility issues) which we didn’t know but my sister managed both coming down and going up so just a suggestion for the team they could update their website with this info. But all in all the experience was worth it, thank you!
Kirtan V — Google review
Our captain Simon and our naturalist Laurie were amazing! They were both entertaining, knowledgeable and their passion for whales was contagious. They knew the whales by their name, knew how old they were, how long they had been coming to this site and their usual individual behaviour. This experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this cruise. I would definitely come again but next time, I would bring tip. I didn't know it was an option but they clearly deserve it.

We had an incredible experience and saw many whales of different species! The staff was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Be aware that the zodiac is small and completely open - you will get wet. It was an adventure for sure! I took off one star because the waterproof coats they provided (which I really appreciated!) smelled like they were overdue for cleaning. Otherwise, a spectacular experience!
Fawn P — Google review
We had a fantastic experience. Both the captain and guide on our boat tour were really friendly and engaging. We had foggy weather to start but ended up with some spectacular whale sightings - porpoise and an extended fin whale viewing which was amazing. As a group of English speakers, our guide went out of his way to share information, even translating jokes for us :).
Erika R — Google review
The guides were nice and professionnal. You can see they love what they do. Observing wild animals is not easy. We were very lucky to observe a big humpback whale and see it jump out of the water. Great experience overall. Support local businesses.

extremely friendly staff and a bilingual owner who goes the extra mile to help you. we saw many whales and even had the luck to take some pictures. they send out multiple boats at once so that there are different eyes on the ocean and then the boats all communicate with each other to make sure everyone can orient themselves in the right direction. a wonderful experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend to others! our tour was in french but I believe English options are available. I have included media to illustrate vessel speed and deck size.
Safi K — Google review
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. To be totally honest, I was nervous that the activity would be boring, or seasickness-inducing, or otherwise a waste of time/money on our family road trip. In the end, even if we hadn’t seen everything we did, Simon and Florine were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we couldn’t have had a bad time. We were given heavy coats and ponchos to protect us and we brought our own hats, gloves and sunglasses. I was grateful for all because even though it was sunny and 20C on shore it was significantly colder on the water and you do get splashed when the boat is really moving. We were fortunate enough to see a fin whale, many porpoises (swimming all around the boat for at least 20 mins), belugas, and to cap off, a surfacing blue whale. I was so moved by this special sighting, I even teared up a little! Even though we were around 30 people, Florine skillfully managed crowd control and made sure that especially the kids had a good view. Thank you so much for this unforgettable day!

We had an excellent whale-watching experience with Du Fleuve. The owner and staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The captain of our boat was extremely knowledgeable and skilled at getting us in good positions to see the whales, while still respecting their space. We had a lot of fun!

We had a wonderful time with Du Fleuve Whale Watching Tours. The staff were incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, which made the whole experience feel both comfortable and informative. Everything was well organized, and it was clear they really care about their guests having a memorable outing. A couple of tips for future visitors: when you book, don’t forget to factor in the ferry as part of your travel time—give yourself some extra buffer so you don’t feel rushed. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day on the water, and I was glad I dressed in layers (base layer, long sleeve, hoodie, jogging pants, tuque, and neck warmer). The jacket provided was thick and very comfortable, and pants- gloves, also, if needed, which is a thoughtful touch. When searching for tours the day before, a different excursion had told us guests could get wet, so I was relieved that with Du Fleuve we stayed completely dry and comfortable so maybe bring extra stuff, just in case. Of course, we can’t control Mother Nature—this area is where whales come to feed, so you won’t always see them “jumping around.” The staff explained that jumping is more about attracting attention. Still, it was amazing to see a blue whale, another whale species (the name slipped my mind), as well as a seal and dolphins! All in all, it was a great time on the water, and I would happily recommend Du Fleuve Whale Watching Tours to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Staff are delightful. Our captain Julie was very knowledgable. Boat could hold only 12 people so it was small and easy to navigate around in.

Had an amazing time with Du Fleuve. Our staff, Julie, was so knowledgeable and passionate which made our whale watching cruise that much more fun! We were able to see lots of different types of whales:) 100% recommend!!
Sarah P — Google review
Finding a whale on the St. Lawrence is truly like looking for a needle in a haystack. But the expertise and dogged determination of our Du Fleuve captains made it possible and then some! (I highly recommended booking two days in a row to double your chances. We got to see different marine species from one cruise to the next, and even different Humpback whale behaviour on the two separate days.) We went with realistic expectations of possibly seeing nothing, but hoped to catch a quick glimpse of even one whale. We were instead blown away by what we saw! Day one: Harbour seals, repeatedly saw dorsals of two Humpbacks (you could hear their forceful exhalations!), glimpses of super white Belugas, a mother and baby porpoise arching out of the water, and huge Northern Gannets. Day two: More Harbour seals, arching dorsal of a Minke, grey seals popping just their heads out of the water to check us out, and when we saw the same Humpbacks from the day before, they put on a show of spectacular pec fin slaps and a couple of curving flukes coming out the water! It was incredible, unforgettable. Our captains were knowledgeable and truly cared about the marine life. They respected the rules of observing whales from 200 metres and didn't overstay our observation periods. What stood apart from the other cruises was being in a Zodiac where every seat has a great view. No one is ever blocking you and you're pretty much eye level with the surface of the water. It doesn't get better than that.
Tracey B — Google review
We had a great time. Our captain was very experienced and he seemed just as excited to see the whales as we were. It truly is a ethereal experience. The whales are very majestic and they seem to sense us as much as we are watching them.
Ethan R — Google review
Our cruise with Du Fleuve was unforgettable. Captain Simon’s passion, knowledge, and respect for the whales and other marine life really shone through. The 12 person boats offered a truly intimate experience like no other. We highly recommend Du Fleuve and cannot wait to come back again!

This spot is the best we’ve found for whale watching. No need for boats or zodiacs (which not only disturb the whales, but also comes with a high price cost and do not guarantee sightseeing). We were fortunate to see several whales during our visits, including a humpback whale. The park staff are exceptionally welcoming, and the guides stationed on the rocks are knowledgeable and clear in their explanations. The views are stunning, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, making it our favorite place in the region.

We enjoyed our time looking through the buildings and learning about the foghorn. It is a beautiful spot to observe whales, we unfortunately didn't see anything during our time. It was quite busy during our visit but we were so grateful to have free access thanks to Parks Canada for waiving fees this summer!
Laura D — Google review
Beautiful spot to sit and watch the whales on the rocks or you can stand by the observation deck and watch. I went on a Tuesday. There was no charge to get in. You do have to walk down a long path to get down there. I think maybe if I'm guessing maybe half a kilometer. I got here about 10:45 a.m. and the parking lot was already pretty much full. I parked on the side of the road it was just easier access to get in and out of. But I don't think they'll allow cars to park there only vans and campers. I would suggest if you can try to get here as early as possible. Anyways nice experience I seen a couple jumping barely but I didn't stay long.
Jo L — Google review
It's a beautiful place with a majestic view over the wide St Lawrence river. However, it's very popular and therefore quite busy. We didn't get to see whales from this lookout point, but we enjoyed the landscape either way and there are several more viewpoints along the river. So when you don't see any whales, just move on to the next viewpoint. It was worth it for us.
David J — Google review
The place is beautiful and you could see wales passing by, which seems to be the reason most people are going there. Do not be to focused on the wales but also enjoy the beauty of the landscape. This coast line is absolutely beautiful and is worth the visit even if you do not see wales.

We had an amazing time. Our guide was quick to spot and point out whales. We saw Humpbacks, Minke, Porpoises and gray seals. We couldn’t believe how many we got to see and we couldn’t be happier. We don’t speak French, although we would love to learn, but our guide made sure to share all the information in French first and then in English too. Wish I had a better camera, because pictures don’t do what we saw justice. We were in awe.

The best cruise to the see whales in Tadoussac !!! I have done it twice already and everytime was amazing. The boats are closed during cruising, which makes a big difference not to freeze (october). And then it opens to admire the whales. Our captain and our guide were so good. Such a great time !

We booked online in advance for a 430 tour, we arrived early enough to take another tour, but luckily we were advised to keep our original booking. It's a small gift shop shack where you should go to the washroom, then get a warm jacket. With your ticket you can catch their bus to go to the next shack and pick up the rest of the boaters. Then bus to the dock, where you walk down many stairs and ramps to get to a boat. They make sure everyone who bought passageway is on the boat. We ended up leaving late because of this, but it did not impact the whale watching at all. The captain (Bernie) made sure we had the best views of whales, and Nat was there to answer all of our questions. Very lovely tour, and I liked the boat, the windows open to take beautiful pictures.
Jasmin G — Google review
We were almost discouraged to not be able to find a whalewatching tour for the next day - as the other 2 companies were sold out - until we heard about Neptune! A 17 minute drive from Tadoussac and you're right at their office. We enjoyed the 2.15h zodiac boattour yesterday on my birthday and it was THE BEST! Small group of attendees, lots of space on the covered boat and whales like you couldn't believe! We saw approximately 10 beluga's and humpbacks I think, including a few directly around our boat. A white babywhale even came to say hello 🐳. What an experience & great guidance and info by our hostess! Thanks guys. Recommend! Price paid: 59$ pp.

The prices, the experience, the sightings, the variety of whales, everything was better than Hawaii. We did a Whale watching cruise in Hawaii end of April and were able to see three hunpback whales from quite a distance. This tour in Quebec was quicker, more to the point, and had sightings of Beluga, Humpback and one other small kind. Lion seals were an added extra. This was also comparatively cheaper than Hawaii. Ask for group pricing and additional discounts, they were very welcoming.
Sajidullah M — Google review
Very well priced and good service. We saw 2 Blue whales. Just compared to others in Tadoussac, they charge almost double for nothing.
Sameeer S — Google review
A really nice experience. We could not reserve a speedboat and this turned out to be a much better option. It is still quite a small boat, not too crowded and you are covered from rain and the cold wind of the Fjord when the boat moves fast but don’t lose any of the spectacular whale watching experience because we opened the windows when we approached the whales. Particularly recommendable if traveling with children. On top, it is not as expensive as other options going out from Tadoussac and the staff is welcoming and experienced. They are enthusiastic and share very interesting information. And the whales… it is about being lucky but they will really try that you come back with amazing pictures and experience.

Croisières Essipit / Whale Watching Essipit Cruise

Whale watching tour agency
Tours
Dolphin & Whale Watching
Croisières Essipit, also known as Whale Watching Essipit Cruise, offers an exciting opportunity to witness the migration of whales along the East Coast of Canada. The cruise provides a good chance to spot various whale species such as Minke whales, humpback whales, fin whales, and the northern right whale. The well-organized tour ensures safety and comfort for all participants by providing jackets and life vests.
It was a wonderful experience. I recommend it with my whole heart. The guide was very good and you could see that he loved his job. We have learned a lot. Our daughter was thrilled. She loved it so much.

We joined this tour at the end of August and were disappointed. The staff were not very polite and spoke only French, despite the website mentioning English service. The equipment was poor—my husband’s pants were torn, which we only noticed once we were on the boat. During the whole trip, we followed just one minke whale for nearly an hour, watching it surface occasionally. The captain talked nonstop the entire time, repeating the same comments, which made it difficult to relax or enjoy the experience. It would have been much nicer to have some quiet moments to take in the scenery. Honestly, we saw more whales from the coast the day before, simply sitting and watching for an hour in a much more comfortable setting. Unless you really want to ride the Zodiac, I wouldn’t recommend this tour — it’s expensive and not worth it for what you get.
Ateayeh — Google review
This was honestly the most fun whale watching I’ve done. The captain was awesome and shared a bunch of info with everyone and made the rides to and from the whales fun The kid loves this and it will be a memory we will remember for a long time. Saw humpbacks !!!

The weather on the day that we booked the service ended up being cloudy and a little rainy, so initially we didn’t see a lot of whales due to the weather conditions, however the captain kept us a little longer in the water until we saw what we came to see. Reliable, good price and fun.

Thank you for the wonderful experience and the beautiful family memories! Marie was our tour guide when we visited this week! She was the perfect person for the job! She was an expert captain, and her knowledge, sense of humour, and vitality was fantastic! We came with our small children, and she was very accommodating and attentive to them (keeping them entertained on the ride, keeping the boat ride as smooth as possible, and giving them a front row seat so they could see the whales better). A lovely experience and I would both highly recommended this company and come back next time! Thank you!

Very well organised, friendly, and welcoming experience. A good effort was made to accommodate English speakers as well as French, and, most importantly, the skill of the captain in finding whales was superb. We went in the smaller fast 12 person boat which was a good decision as it was able to react quickly and get us close to a wonderful pair of large c. 22m Fin Whales. We were able to see them at close quarters for a long time for a memorable experience.

We had a wonderful tour. We saw grey seals, belugas (from a distance), and a blue whale! The blue whale surfaced many times, once close enough that we could hear its spout. What a privilege. Captain Antoine was hilarious and knowledgeable; he entertained us the whole time. My kids loved the speed of the Zodiac. Thank you for a fantastic afternoon!
