Me and my family of 4, recently had the pleasure of visiting Campbell Valley Regional Park (first time), and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the park’s natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The park offers an incredible variety of scenic trails, which are well-maintained and clearly marked. We enjoyed a lovely walk through the forested paths, taking in the fresh air and the soothing sounds of nature. The views of the meadows and wetlands were absolutely breathtaking, and we even spotted some local wildlife, which added to the charm of the experience. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Campbell Valley Regional Park for anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors in a peaceful, beautiful setting. We can’t wait to return!

Update 2025: Just went on a winter stroll through the Padden Lake trails, and it was lovely. It's a serene place, and a great spot to escape the everyday monotony anytime of the year! Lake Padden is an absolute gem! We visit nearly every week for hiking, biking, and kayaking, and each trip is a pleasure. The paths around the lake are perfect for all skill levels, whether you're taking a peaceful walk or enjoying a challenging bike ride. There are also designated trails where dogs can roam off-leash, which is a huge plus for dog owners. The lake itself is beautiful and clean, making it ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding. The entire area is well-maintained, and the natural scenery—especially the trees surrounding the lake—adds to the serene atmosphere. Whether you're out for a day of activity or just want to relax by the water, Lake Padden never disappoints. Highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts!

Bright, clean and very comfortable bed and bathroom. Complimentary water bottles, tea and coffee in the room. A small fridge is available. Front desk staff are very helpful. Free parking (you don't need to register your license plate #) Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Willowbrook Shopping Centre is like 5mins drive away.

My 1st time at Whatcom Falls Park. What a fabulous trail walk!! Highly recommend. Easy parking. Not crowded. Beautiful scenery and you can cool off at the bottom!!!

Fort langley is great place to learn about Canada’s history, explore old lifestyles. Cute cafe to grab some coffee plus great kids area. Workers are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely check out the blacksmith shop. The place is great to spend a day with family or friends. Lots of interesting things.

A great experience for the whole family! We really enjoyed our visit to the Greater Vancouver Zoo. The animals looked well cared for and had plenty of space, and the walking paths were clean and easy to follow. The highlights for us were the giraffes, lions, and the safari-style enclosures. Renting the golf cart made it even more fun and convenient to explore the entire park. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there were lots of spots for snacks and rest. Highly recommended for a relaxing day surrounded by nature and wildlife!

Golden Ears Park, Maple Ridge Golden Ears Park is a true gem in Maple Ridge! The park offers an incredible variety of outdoor experiences, making it perfect for nature lovers. The trails are well-maintained, ranging from easy walks to more challenging hikes, with stunning views throughout. The highlight for me was the waterfall—absolutely breathtaking and worth the short hike to see it up close. Golden Ears Park offers two stunning waterfalls: the **Lower Waterfall** and the **Upper Waterfall**. The Lower Waterfall is easy to reach, with a short, scenic trail through the forest, making it perfect for families or casual hikers. The Upper Waterfall, accessible via a more challenging trail, is larger and more dramatic, rewarding hikers with breathtaking views. The park has a variety of trails for all skill levels. The **Lower Falls Trail** is great for beginners, while the **Upper Falls Trail** provides a more strenuous hike. With beautiful views of forests, ridges, and the lake, Golden Ears Park is a fantastic destination for hikers and nature lovers. For campers, the park has excellent facilities, with spacious, clean sites that are well-suited for both tent camping and RVs. The dog-friendly policy is fantastic, and my furry friend had a blast exploring the trails and even taking a dip in the lake. Speaking of the lake, the views are simply amazing. Whether you're kayaking, picnicking, or just relaxing by the water, the scenery is breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere is hard to beat. Highly recommend Golden Ears Park for anyone looking to enjoy nature, relax, and have a memorable outdoor experience!

Probably the main park attraction in Abbotsford. Very open with lots of pretty places to sit. And nice water park for kids. There's an area with big, tall trees that is cool to walk through The lake itself has a bunch of scenic spots There's a side where people can bring and board their boats (kayaks and stuff) and do a little fishing.

It was really fun! Mini golf costs $18 per adult, but it’s worth it—amazing interior design. There are lots of arcade games, ranging from $0.90 to $2.50. We spent around $50 for both of us. Parking is free!

The view here is absolutely stunning! It's the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. However, it was a bit slippery, so be cautious while walking around. There's a nice picnic spot available, and I really appreciated the free parking. Unlike other places, it wasn’t crowded at all, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!

Haven't been here since I was 11 years old. Great to visit with my 11 year old son and his best friend. Slides are super fun! It's great that you can bring your own tent and outside food from home. The ice cream was insane! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the line ups were manageable. The best part? Absolutely fantastic value! Get the water park and adventure park pass for less than $50 each. All day fun for cheap! We will return for sure. We went on a Thursday so it wasn't as busy. Love it!

Spectacular falls to see while heading to or from Mt Baker. About 90 feet tall, it plunges over a sharp rocky, and mossy, fern covered edge into a narrow shadowy hole, joining another tumbling water way just from the east. It is fantastic! Easy access, plenty of parking, with short but not flat trails to the viewing area. Beautiful trees and foliage. There is signage telling the history of the falls and the water works that once existed there. It is extremely steep, slippery, and potentially dangerous on the edge of falls, so the viewing area is edged by a chain-link for safety, but it does not block or diminish the view at all. You can also view the tumbling waters and pool at the top of the falls, from a bridge the crosses just above it. There is parking on both sides of the bridge, and trails heading off up the surrounding mountain, through the shady, mossy , and pine needle strewn under growth. A very magical place, indeed, and very worth a visit. Highly recommend!

What a fun drive and a great place to go with the family. Whether camping, picnicking, or just enjoying the view, Baker Lake has been a family favorite of ours since the mid sixties. Growing up in the PNW affords many opportunities to visit some beautiful places, but Baker holds a special place in our hearts. Best time to go is early on a Saturday or Sunday before the crowds arrive.

I’ve been skiing at Mt. Baker for years, and it never disappoints. The terrain is fantastic, and the views from the top of the lifts are absolutely breathtaking. I would literally come here only for the views!! Mt Shuksan and Mt Baker are so picturesque! The lodge food is solid too—perfect for warming up between runs. A favorite winter spot! They have rentals at the lodge; also parking is always available. We prefer to come here for two days of skiing, as it’s a far drive from Seattle.

I visited Bridal Falls on New Year's Day to start the year with some peace and quiet, and it was the perfect choice. I was looking for a calm place to enjoy nature, and this spot gave me exactly what I needed. The drive there was beautiful. Even before I reached the falls, I felt a sense of calm as I took in the peaceful surroundings. When I arrived, Bridal Falls was as stunning as I hoped. The water was flowing strongly, falling down in a powerful display of nature’s beauty. Even though it was winter, the falls were still impressive. The cold, fresh air mixed with the sound of the water and the wind through the trees created a peaceful, almost calming atmosphere. I spent a lot of time just standing there, enjoying the moment and the quiet beauty around me. What I loved most about the place was how it helped me slow down and relax. With so much going on in everyday life, it's easy to forget how important it is to take a break and connect with nature. Bridal Falls was the perfect place to reflect and recharge for the year ahead. Overall, the experience was refreshing and peaceful, and I left feeling calm and ready for the year. I highly recommend Bridal Falls to anyone looking for a quiet place to escape or simply enjoy the beauty of nature. It’s a great spot for reflection, a hike, or just taking in the surroundings. It was a great way to start the year with a positive, relaxed mindset.

Lovely place with a charming vibe. Public pool with the mineral water is reasonably cheap, but spaces may be limited. On the shore is the play ground, washroom and place for the barbecue!

Great campsites / day use area with plenty of parking, walking trails, and even a boat launch. (Maximum 7.5kw 10HP motor allowed) The campsites are nestled along trees. There are trailer and tenting spots available, water taps to fill up with fresh water, along with pit toilets, and plenty of garbage / recycling bins around. The campsites themselves can range in size from small to big, with some sites having lake views. The gravel road can be a bit rough for towing a trailer in, but slow and steady, it's absolutely doable! The beaver pond trail adjacent to the campsite is about a 20-minute round trip and offers cool scenery, boardwalks, and some pretty interesting information signs about the local wildlife. Would recommend checking this place out if you haven't yet!

It’s also dog-friendly, so your four-legged friend can enjoy the adventure too. The combination of natural beauty and fascinating history makes it an unforgettable experience. Parking is convenient, and the trail is well-maintained. Whether you’re a photographer, a nature lover, or just looking for a peaceful walk with a bit of history, the Othello Tunnels are worth the trip. We’ll definitely be coming back—it’s a gem you don’t want to miss!

While planning for my road trip to Kamloops, I wanted to to stop by a few places on the way, this is one of the recommended place while on road trip to Kamloops. I was travelling over the weekend and I reached there around noon time. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and they guide and answer your questions. I couldn’t explore the house as it was under renovation and as a result I got a cheap pas of $5 ad opposed to $12 regular pass. I went inside to look around, it’s fairly a small site with a house, some tents and an old church. There’s a place for gold panning as well if you like to do that.

Rest area and a site of a mountain slide triggered by an earthquake. There is a beautiful memorial to the victims of the slide, buried in their cars many meters under the present Highway 3. This site has toilets but no running water.

Stopped here on a whim(like many others) and it was totally worth it! Getting to be down in the canyon was awesome. Good little gift shop, fun suspension bridge at the bottom and interesting history. The ride on the tram was unique and definitely worth it!

I went with my friends for a mini-weekend get away. We were all tired and worn and just needed some natural relaxation. REO was the perfect fit for us. From the phone booking to our last meal, we felt the attentiveness and warmth of the staff and the care of each detail in our vacation. REO has experienced many setbacks from surviving the pandemic to an atmospheric river flood to a wild fire. Despite all this, the resort provided a full array of activities including white water rafting, kayaking/paddle boarding, yoga classes, massage, hammock garden, hot tubs, fire pits for nighttime gatherings and of course, amazing riverside patios. Inside the spacious tents, the bedding was comfortable and warm, and I fell asleep to the sound of the raging river every night. There are single room toilets and showers that were clean and readily available. Every meal was delicious - clean, healthy and satisfying food. But I have to say, my favourite experience was Brian, the owner. He would come around at lunch or dinner time to casually say hi and answered our questions. We were able to let him know our needs and likes and he would so discreetly offer us the best solutions. We felt very well taken care of. This is my second time to REO, I will be returning again with family and friends. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all Canadians and International visitors looking for either adventure or a place to relax.

Monck Provincial was really pretty. The drive from Merritt is gorgeous, we passed many pastures and cattle guards to get to the campground. We stayed there in August and it was quite warm but many sites had shade for a good portion of the afternoon and evening. The roads are mostly paved which is good for kids on bikes. There is a small playground for young children. The "outhouse" toilets are plumbed/flush. The sites were nice and level for our tent trailer. The park had desert-like terrain and was very dry but there were many places to hang hammocks and very little bugs. Mosquitoes were not an issue. The stars and moon at night were incredible. The new park water system was having challenges so we were notified prior to arriving and we brought our own potable water. We chose not to bring our dogs swimming as there were signs posted warning of a blue-green algae issue (toxic for dogs or humans if ingested). There are a number of sites right close to the water if you can get one. The camp staff were very friendly and actively seen around maintaining all the facilities.

I have the perspective of someone who was performing. This is an outstanding theatre with an outstanding crew. Probably the best crew I've ever experienced. Modest lighting but the tech never missed a cue, so it felt like a much bigger lighting rig.
