Dahab Safari Day Tours is a reliable and professional tour operator in Dahab, Egypt. The company offers well-organized and enjoyable tours at competitive prices. The staff, particularly Ahmed, is known for their professionalism and excellent English-speaking skills. One of the popular tours includes a visit to Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine with knowledgeable guides who provide insightful information about Egyptian history. Additionally, the tour to Petra in Jordan is described as an unforgettable experience that's worth the journey and cost.
After walking up and down the strip and getting an idea on pricing, I came across Dahab Safari Day Tours and was introduced to Ahmed. He was always able to get me the best price on all the tours I wanted to do. Compared to some other cowboys nearby, Ahmed was professional and spoke with perfect English. Every tour I booked with him was well organised and great fun. He even sorted me a competitive taxi ride to the airport and when I lost my phone, was able to coordinate its return. What a life saver!

I was alone 2 days with my beduin guide, Selmi in the Shinai desert, near the White Canyon. Originally I wanted it to be 3 days, but due to technical issues with my bus I couldn't make it in time. Dahab Safari was kind and flexible enough to let me do the remaining 2 days. They quickly converted the 3 days safari to a 2 days safari and said they just want me to have a nice experience. I did have a very good experience, I wanted to have a glimps of an authentic beduin life for a few days and Selmi, my beduin guide did a fantastic job showing it to me. He also showed some beautiful places, cooked and made delicious beduin tea for me. I never felt insecure for a second, from the beginning I felt I can trust the drivers and Selmi too. For some people this might be a bit too much, so I would recommend this for hikers, and who has at least a normal fitness level. I think Dahab Safari may also offer smoother tours too. I can guarantee that those, who like adventures will have a wonderful time! Thank you Selmi, and thank you Dahab Safari, I would give you more than 5 stars if I could! 🙂

Dahab Tours staff are very helpful and accommodating!! They have the best customer service! They rescheduled my trip a couple of times, and were all very nice about it. I appreciated it very much! The submarine excursion was absolutely fantastic! What an experience to see beautiful corals and fish. Also the sea floor! Highly recommend the company and the trip to anyone!

Had a few very good experiences! Mohamed is friendly and very helpfull to plan the right trips. I did a quadbike trip, camel trip, and went to the White Canyon. The guides are professional and can tell a lot about the locations.

This tour provider is disturbingly unprofessional and dangerously unprepared for emergency situations. One of the women on this unguided "guided tour" of Saint Catherine broke her foot and there was nobody around to take responsibility. Don't risk your life with this irresponsible company.
Sam S — Google review
We have three tours with them and they only messed up with one. They forgot to pick us up but we managed not to miss the boat.

Visited Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine, with Jimmy as my tour guide. He did a wonderful job explaining Egyptian history to me. He was extremely helpful, assisting me during my mountain climb as I struggle with anxiety. This was a culturally immersive tour, prepare to learn and grow. Please be in relatively good shape prior to touring or climbing the mountain. Yes, they have camels, but not for the entire mountain trip. I visited from the United States. The cultural differences were challenging for me, and if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions, bring your own food. For those who struggle with debilitating anxiety, it may not be advisable to go.
Tyron H — Google review
Did 2 tours with them. Petra Day trip and Sunrise Mount Sinai Hike/Saint Catherine Monastery Tours. The staff were friendly and helpful. Both trips went relatively well. Giving 2 stars because I realize that I paid double the price compared to what some other foreign travelers paid for the Mount Sinai hike. Understand that some tour agencies charge higher prices but this difference was much to be ignored.

El Bells - Blue Hole

Mentioned on
2 lists
Swimming pool
Nature & Parks
El Bells - Blue Hole is a renowned dive site located 8km north of Dahab, Egypt. The Blue Hole is a striking sinkhole that plunges straight down, possibly reaching depths of 130m. While experienced technical divers can explore the deeper sections, there's plenty to see near the surface with abundant marine life around the outer lip. Snorkeling and diving are accessible from El Bells without harming the reef, thanks to a mini-canyon nearby.
Simply serenity. Great calm warm blue waters. Nice servers but not much to offer in this secluded spot. Not easy to get to. Bumpy road then a boat ride then another bumpy ride.
Ahmad A — Google review
Perhaps this «El Bells» is hyped/praised too much? Too much mystic about it? The "chimney" turns out to be a deep vertical crack in the dropping wall, leading downward to 30+ meters. It is open out to the sea all the way, so you practically don't swim in a «chimney» such many have thought it should be.
Vinh N — Google review
One of the most beautiful places in the world for diving and snorkeling.
Yossi E — Google review
I like when I dive through the tunnel. It takes around 3 minutes from the surface to the exit of El bells. You need to keep equalise as it go deep directly. But it’s not that scaring and difficult. Just very narrow. Be careful not to break anything. When you exit, you will dive follow the cliff to Blue hole. If the weather is good, that part is so beautiful! I have no photo and videos as I lost Osmo4 at here. Hope you to find mine! Lol
Mothusi — Google review
Try hiking the mountains next to the fast boat meeting point. The view is magical up there. Taking a fast boat to Abu Galoum from here is very unorganized, its not safe for pregnant women, children or anyone with back problems. It costs EGP 120 per person for two-way trip to Abu Galoum excluding car rides.
Passant E — Google review
Just before the boats to Abu Galoum, there are some wooden posts: that's the bells. Here you can enter for snorkeling/diving to the Blue Hole, without destroying the reef, as there is a mini-canyon. When you look down, it's really deep right away, its great. From here you can follow the reef up to where it slopes down, where you go over the reef into the blue hole, which you can exit at the stairs. The reef here is probably even nicer than the actual blue hole.
Ewoud — Google review
Honestly not worth visiting. Diving at lighthouse in Dahab is much better. The Blue hole is so big and steep, that cannot even see the complete hole unless you have a drone. The beach is just rocks and the place is stressful and just has bunch of big restaurants - a real tourist trap unless you are diving. You can take a taxi/truck from or to Dahab for something like 100 EGP, or a boat to Abu Gulum for 50 EGP. But usually it is visited as part of a snorkeling trip.

Raju B — Google review
I recently booked my Egypt vacation through this travel agency, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the services provided. I visited three cities—Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor—and I’ll share my experience for each separately. To start on an honest note, one aspect that disappointed me was the lack of transparency. Before confirming the trip, I specifically asked whether the same travel agency would be handling our itinerary across all three cities, and I was told yes. However, upon arriving in Egypt, I discovered that they only managed our Cairo itinerary. The other two cities were handled by a different firm (whose name I will not mention, as all payments were made to the original agency). This created a breach of trust and was not what I expected based on our initial conversations. Cairo We were warmly received at the Cairo airport by an agent holding a name board with my name on it. He assisted us smoothly through immigration and introduced us to our guide, Mr. Faris. Mr. Faris was truly a consummate professional—extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history. From the Great Pyramids to the Civilization Museum, he explained everything in great detail. I was especially impressed by his use of a laser pointer, which he used to highlight specific areas of monuments and museum displays while explaining their significance. This level of detail made the tour both engaging and educational. Aswan Unfortunately, the experience in Aswan was quite the opposite. The guide, Ms. Asma, was arranged by the local partner agency—not by Nature Travels. To be honest, she was a complete disappointment. A visit to ancient monuments can easily feel monotonous if the guide isn’t enthusiastic or well-prepared, and that was exactly the case here. While she seemed to know some of the symbolism and drawings in the temples, her reluctance to guide us properly was evident. She lacked the passion and depth needed for such a historic tour. What’s worse, she did not give any historical background before entering the sites, which is usually the most engaging part of a temple tour. To add to the frustration, although the agency was supposed to cover the guide’s meals and beverages, she ordered a juice and then asked us to pay the bill. I went ahead and paid, simply to avoid any confrontation. Overall, Aswan was a disappointing part of our trip, primarily due to the unprofessional guide. Luxor Luxor turned things around completely. Our guide here, Ms. Amera Demo, was outstanding—possibly the best guide I’ve ever had. From the moment she met us in the hotel lobby, her warm, proactive, and friendly demeanor made a lasting impression. As soon as we got into the van, she pulled out paper and pen to sketch how the pyramids were originally built and explained why the Pharaohs transitioned from pyramids to tombs in Luxor. She shared crisp, fascinating facts about Egyptian history and dynasties in a way that was both informative and entertaining. Ms. Amera also made personal connections, chatting about her children and their dreams, which made us feel like we were touring with a family friend rather than just a guide. Her depth of historical knowledge and genuine enthusiasm made our Luxor visit truly memorable. Final Thoughts Despite the initial trust issue and the unpleasant experience in Aswan, the professionalism in Cairo and the excellence in Luxor balanced things out. Any concerns I raised were addressed promptly and professionally by the agency, which I truly appreciated. On the whole, I would rate this experience a 7 out of 10—mostly due to the Aswan segment—but I’d still recommend this agency, especially for their Cairo and Luxor arrangements.

Eroding sandstone & limestone formed by the Red Sea created layers of color in this striking gorge.
Beautiful canyon, worth visiting during any tour in Egypt. There could be a lot of other tourist and can be crowded, the rocks and formations are not like in the photoshoped brosures so don't get very excited. The road to the canyon is a fun jeep safari ride trough the sand, it is worth visiting once.

5 stars! The tour to the Colored Canyon was an amazing experience! The guides were simply fantastic, they accompanied us with serenity and professionalism all day, explaining every detail and making us feel at ease. We snorkeled in crystal clear waters along the reef, a relaxing camel ride through the desert and an exciting quad bike adventure! And the final touch was Fabrizio's photo shoot, which captured us in beautiful and unforgettable moments. The company was great and we had a really memorable day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the beauty of the Colored Canyon!" 😊👍📸 Special thanks to Osama guide of extreme precision and professionalism!

The Colored Canyon - Review The Colored Canyon is a natural wonder in the Sinai desert, offering a truly unique and visually stunning experience. It's a geological formation carved over millions of years by water and wind, resulting in a narrow gorge with towering, multi-colored sandstone walls. * Vibrant Scenery: The canyon's main attraction is its walls, which display a breathtaking palette of colors from shades of yellow and orange to deep red and purple. These colors are created by various mineral deposits, and the way sunlight filters through the narrow passages creates a magical and ever-changing display. * The Experience: A visit typically involves a guided hike through the canyon's winding and sometimes narrow passages. This adventure is suitable for most fitness levels, though it may involve some light scrambling over rocks. The journey is an opportunity to appreciate the intricate rock formations and the sheer power of nature. * Beyond the Canyon: Tours to the Colored Canyon often combine it with other popular desert activities, such as jeep safaris, camel rides, and visits to other nearby attractions like the Blue Hole or Dahab. This makes it a great full-day excursion for those staying in Sharm El Sheikh or Nuweiba. * Photography: For photographers and nature enthusiasts, the canyon is a paradise. Every turn offers a new composition, with the vibrant colors and unique textures providing endless opportunities for stunning photos. Final Word: The Colored Canyon is an essential stop for anyone visiting the Sinai Peninsula. It’s an adventure that engages all the senses and provides a profound appreciation for the natural artistry of the desert.

We came as part of a Dahab tour. We were transported among the sand dunes by a Jeep- was fun! The canyon itself is amazing- we'd had an easy hike down in the canyon. Wear good shoes! The sand is hot- so my advice is no sandals, wear socks. At the exit there is a beduin family offering tea and selling handmade crafts.

With its medieval charm and attentive staff, this hidden gem offers exceptional hospitality. A medieval castle nested in the mountains overlooking the bluest waters you will ever sea. A one of a kind relaxing experience. Quite, relaxing, comfortable, and super clean for a one day trip. Close to Newebai" Dahab and Sharm, the place is definitely worth the ride. The food is slow cooked and must be ordered in advance, but it is incredibly tasty. You need to book in advance, a bit pricy, but worth it.

A Magical Hidden Gem in Sinai Castle Zaman is truly a breathtaking experience. The scenery is out of this world. Perched above the Red Sea with panoramic views of the mountains and water, it feels like stepping into a serene dream. The atmosphere and ambiance are peaceful, relaxed, and so unique. Soft, calming music plays in the background, adding to the tranquil, magical vibe of the whole place. Every corner is designed with intention. One of my favorite parts was exploring the “dungeon”. It felt like a treasure adventure. Hidden below the castle, it is filled with beautifully handcrafted glasses, plates, bowls, and other unique pieces all for sale. I ordered a slow-cooked veal leg dish. It was served with veggies, molokhya, and roz. Absolutely delicious, and one of the most satisfying meals I have had in Sinai. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the welcome drink was a lovely touch that made the experience even more special. Even the bathrooms were spotless and beautifully done, with natural materials and no cold metal anywhere in sight. Every detail reflects care, artistry, and harmony with nature. A special thank you to Lucy for her professionalism, kindness, and for making my time there so joyful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique escape with incredible views, authentic food, and peaceful energy. Thank you, Castle Zaman, for an unforgettable day. ✨

I can’t tell you how beautiful this place is! This castle is a must-seeee! It’s beautiful, well maintained and well restored. Photographers, you’re gonna fall in love with it! It needs about 2/3 bourse to be explored then you can go snorkeling or swimming in the Gulf of Aqaba and enjoy the beautiful Red Sea. Luckily, when I went, there weren’t many tourists. However, I do recommend building a kiosk to sell water because there aren’t any so make sure you bring all that you need with you. It’s also super close to Aqaba, Jordan, about an hour and a half only via sea.

This place is not opened. You can get a view if it but are not allowed to enter. There are boat trips that allow you to snorkel and dive in front.

It is located at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba in the middle of a coral island. It is the second diving area in Sinai after Ras Muhammad. The castle is 250 meters from Sinai Beach, 10 km from the port of Aqaba Pharaoh's Island has been given several names, including Al-Marjan Island, Gray Island, and the people of Sinai call it three names: “The Citadel - The Citadel - The Village”, its area is 325 m from north to south, 60 m from east to west Salah al-Din realized the importance of the strategic location of the island after passing through it during his campaign against the Levant in the year 567 AH 1171 AD, so he built his famous castle on it The castle was built of igneous granite stone taken from the castle's quarry, which is currently located in the center of the northern fortification The castle was built on two large hills, a northern hill and a southern hill, between which there is a middle plain, each of which is a self-contained fortification capable of defense in the event of the siege of the other, and they are surrounded by an external wall as the first line of defense for the castle. Water tanks were dug inside the rock, so all means of protection and subsistence were available for it

A very nice historical place.. Where Salah Al-den built two castles to defend the land.. in a very strategic position some how elevated from sea so you can see any one coming from a distance.. You climb some stairs and there are some parts where you will be walking on the edge and have a bit of adventure..(still optional) You still also can see the outline and the plan of the rooms and it still has a prayer area where the soldiers were praying in You can enjoy the story of the place there are also some description signs along the place.. And the view is very nice from up there.. And a very interesting thing there that on the top of the door to the praying area a sign with hand writing of Salah Al-Den him self.. still there for centuries.. Overall if you are passing by.. definitely have a a quick visit it takes around 45 minutes to visit every thing there.. And there is also a snorkeling spot there people come and enjoy it we didn’t get to try it due to time but the guide was encouraging us to try next time..

It is actually two castles (Northern and Southern) on Pharaoh's Island, in the Gulf of Aqaba. It was built by Salah El-din (Saladin) in 1170 AD. Castles were previously built on the island in the old Arabic era and in 1116 AD by Baldwin. The castles played a major rule in the Crusades, Mamluk and Ottoman eras.

A good place in Eilat for snorkeling. Easy access to the water through 2 bridges that leads to the snorkeling area. Be aware it is a bit outside of the city and there's no where to buy food or drinks, so bring your own.

Free, yes but not at the same level than the close Nature Reserve. If you like snorkeling and you prefer to save the 10 bucks of the entrance fee at the Coral Beach Nature reserve, so this is the place to be. There are showers, toilets, but not that many parking spaces. Still the landscape is incredible, especially at sunset. And swimming in the red sea is simply the thing.
Dan M — Google review
Princess Beach is an unofficial beach, which means no lifeguards, no supervision, and very limited facilities. The place isn’t well maintained – there’s a lot of rust, the pier is closed to entry, and there are no proper showers or restrooms. Shade is provided only by simple white fabric covers. Parking can also be difficult, especially on hot days, and there’s just one small kiosk that accepts cash only (no apps or credit cards). On the positive side, the underwater world is stunning. The beach offers free access to some of the most beautiful corals and a wide variety of marine life in Eilat – truly a snorkeler’s dream. * Pros: Free, amazing marine life and corals, great snorkeling. * Cons: No lifeguards, poor maintenance, cash-only kiosk, hard parking, no showers/restrooms. In short: if you’re looking for comfort and services, this isn’t the place. But if you want a free natural spot with breathtaking underwater sights, Princess Beach is highly recommended.
Idan — Google review
There were closed toilets, no showers. Beach was little. The piers were closed. We didn’t swim there, so i cant’t rate the undersea life. I do not recommend for tourists. Go to another beach.
Vláďa — Google review
One of the best beaches to scuba dive in Eilat, we are coming here every year in the last week of August. Sitting on the beach, relaxing with a cold beer during sunset is amazing !!!
Raphael M — Google review
The beach itself is a great place to swim and snorkel. The water is really clean and clear. It is also located right on the boarder of Egypt so technically your swimming on the line between 2 counties. For anyone who was wondering; The reason they call this beach the Princess Beach and not The Taba Boarder Beach is because of the abandoned hotel next to it. It used to be an amazing hotel with a private beach front until it closed down.

From Eilat City center, just take 5 minutes by car and 10 in bus. one of the best sites.

Free parking, easy access for wheelchairs, bins, park for the kids, free beach umbrellas. Despite being the beach and the sand not the most attractive it's diving in the water that this place gives its best. It's worthy spending time swimming and exploring. Japanese garden is somethin special, be sure to reach it! Thank you Ahmed for making this experience so special, and protecting this place. you are a kind, passionate and qualified person! Andrea

10km away from the chill city center of Aqaba. In this area, you can swim and explore more of the Red Sea overlooking Palestine and Egypt. Visiting the area to catch the sunset, a lot of locals and tourists alike are doing the most, like some are barbecuing, snorkeling, having snacks and taking rest. Beyond the area, you can also explore more areas of the beach.
Fredric J — Google review
Great place to snorkle, we went with our kids (6 and 7 yo), and there was a lot of life in the coral reefs. This beach could have been so much better if just people took care of it and threw trash in the trash bins. There were so many trash bins, spaced litterally a few meters apart. Still people throw things in the sand - the photo is the result of just a few minutes cleaning work in the area where we layed in the sand. And still one of our girl cut their toe on one of these sharp can-lids. Recommend beach-shoes. There are toilet facilities, but bring your own toilet paper (if you don’t like the dousch). A few local men were renting snorkling equipment. It is a beautiful location and since it is free it is well worth a visit, keeping everything above in mind.

We visited this public beach earlier today as we didn’t feel like spending 30/13 JOD for a day pass at Tala Bay Resort/Berenice Beach Club that are right next door. Japanese garden is a truly amazing snorkeling spot with a lot of life in the coral reefs. The beach has all the necessary amenities such as showers, toilets, benches, sunshades and a playground for kids. There is also a possibility to rent snorkeling equipment and have lunch.

Another example about how good ideas and investments are not working around here 🙈😔

Great spot to see the Cedar Pride shipwreck. Even when just snorkeling, you can see it very clearly when the sun is out. The ship is located between the 2 red buoys, out from the pier.
Lennert P — Google review
You should come to snorkel, but find other places for a family trip to the beach. Free. Dirty, lots of cigarette butts and trash. The shore is very rocky. Wonderful, clear, warm water.

We had amazing experience here. There are pools for adults and kids, but we come here only because of the sea. There are lots of corals that’s why advise you to bring your mask to snorkel or rent it here. Nice music and bar with plenty of food and drinks and water activities. You should really come here and feel same experience!

Nice views and very nice atmosphere. The Staff were very pleasant and we did all activitys during the day and of course we enjoyed karaoke night. Animation team are incredable positive and full of energy. A very nice place to visit. We recommend it do much.

We came with our family. The staff was always attentive to us. The entertainment team, in particular, is fantastic. You won't have a moment to spare. They're all so friendly, respectful, fun, and do their jobs with the utmost quality. There's no chance of boredom here. They also take exceptional care of the kids. You'll regret not coming here when you visit Aqaba.

Definitely a 10/10 experience. The receptionist, Yara I presume, welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know in a respectful and informative way. The resort has a great atmosphere with a lively vibe. The staff are respectful and helpful, the food tasted great, and the whole place is very clean, even the beach. The lifeguard, Rashed I think his name is, was extremely patient and helpful with us. The Discovery Ride is a must. It starts with a nice ride to a sunken ship, then to corals with plenty of visible fish, followed by a sunken C-130 plane, and ends with an hour of snorkeling. Overall, this is a must-try experience for 23 JOD per person.

It was our first experience in this place and we loved it so much. All stuff so friendly and they are so kind. Girls from the bar are so nice, they do really good job. Beautiful place with crystal clear water and amazing views of the sea! The staff are super friendly, everything is clean and well organized, and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Great place for swimming, snorkeling, or just chilling by the water. Big thanks for animation team, they rlly made our days here ❤️ We will come back for sure!

From the moment we arrived, Berenice Beach Club offered a flawless blend of relaxation, fun, and warm Jordanian hospitality. The entry fee—around JOD 13 (~US $23)—felt like excellent value for a full day at this expansive seaside retreat . The beach itself is beautifully maintained, with clear, calm water, pristine sand, and vibrant coral reefs that make snorkeling and diving a must, There are also three lovely pools (one designated for adults), plus comfortable sun beds, towels, and clean changing facilities . Service here truly stands out. Staff are not only professional, but genuinely friendly and attentive—often going above and beyond to assist with everything from rescuing lost items to ensuring your comfort . The amenities impressed us as well. You’ll find on-site restaurants, water sports, diving, boat excursions, live music, themed evenings (like bonfires and karaoke), and a lively animation team for games and activities . Overall, Berenice Beach Club is a standout in Aqaba—clean, well-designed, and brimming with variety. Whether you’re looking to unwind quietly or dive into adventure, it caters to families, couples, and mixed groups with a balanced mix of tranquility and activity. Highly recommended!

We had two fantastic days in Berenice. We found both locals and tourists during our stay, which is a good mix. The resort offers changing rooms, showers, towels, loads of sun beds, and a clean beach. We had drinks and both days lunch and dinner - we liked everything but it is definitely with tourist prices. There is 2x1 drinks from 7pm onwards which is great. Staff is friendly and attentive. We did not try the snoerkeling/diving school, but definitely the corals are better on the South Beach - worth to have a couple of hours there.

Migdalor Beach, also known as Lighthouse Beach, is situated approximately 8 kilometers from Eilat near the International University Institute. The beach derives its name from the lighthouse that overlooks it. It is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere, offering visitors the chance to enjoy chillout music, savor delicious food and cold drinks, swim in the clear waters, snorkel along a stunning coral reef, or simply bask in the Eilat sun.
Beautiful beach. There we very good high pressure showers. Many corals here, but not colorful. But there were a lot of different fishes, very colorful!! There is a kind lady on the beach restaurant.

Underwater Observatory Park

The Underwater Observatory Park in Eilat is a remarkable marine attraction located within the Coral Reserve. It features an impressive underwater aquarium where visitors can marvel at a diverse array of aquatic species and a large coral colony. The park also offers various activities such as the 'Creatures of the Deep' 3D presentation, sea turtle pool, ocean simulator, and 'The World of Sharks' exhibition.
Would spend there all day. An established place, but it keeps renovating all the time. The shark aquarium is so relaxing and exiting at the same time! The underwater observatory facility is a must. Note- a single ticket is good for a couple of days, so if you want to visit more than once (and you should) plan accordingly.
Hanan D — Google review
What a great chance to sit and watch fish for hours! Between the underwater observatory and the aquarium we were really pleased with the experience. Go early for quieter viewing without crowds. There was plenty of parking when they first opened.
Yehuda G — Google review
Good for little kids, probably less for older ones. The place is trying hard to remain relevant. The underwater observetory is a little old and not really that impressive anymore. However you also get an impressive shark pool and some stingray and sea turtles exhibits. The 3d movie was impressive (but short. 18 min total). I've certainly been to better aquariums, but this is decent and good for kids.
Gidon S — Google review
A real fun place for kids, but also for the sea animal lovers. We had a guided tour and it was perfect and well explained. I enjoyed every bit of it. I would have enjoyed more if the glasses were a bit cleaner. Nevertheless, it was fun. PS: The 3D movie was cherry on the top
Anindita D — Google review
Wonderful. From walking through the lively coral reef to the 3D cinema which is unlike any other I have witnessed. The screen goes above the head so that it can be protected from any point in the room and looks like the whole is above you. This place is a must see for young and old. It is a beautifully maintained park, with a big variety of coral. The underwater observatory is absolutely amazing. The water of the red see is also accommodating the coral beautifully. The aqua dome is also an experience like none other. The whole is turned into a 3D video and it literally feels like you are under the ocean and touching the sea life yourself. Great place to visit, both educational and fun. its really impressive to see all the unique creatures that live in the ocean. dedicate at least several hours to the visit.
Alex D — Google review
This place gets it! It's all about the service and people. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Very clean place. Food was good and fair priced. The exhibits were all well maintained. Especially with children, this is a very nice all day activity.

Fabulous experience! I love that they put effort into the smallest details like trash cans shaped as sharks. The cruise )15 minutes long) is also totally worth it.

We’ve been to aquariums all over the world and this isn’t the glossiest or the most high tech. But my kids love it and beg to come back every time we are in Eilat. There’s lots of different things to do that keep everyone entertained and you cannot beat seeing fish in their actual habitat. We love this charming little place. The 3-D movie was a huge hit!

Eilat's Coral Beach Nature Reserve is a stunning combination of a beach and a large coral reef, making it an ideal destination for snorkeling and swimming. As the northernmost shallow-water coral reef in the world, this national park offers a vibrant marine life with colorful fish and astonishing plants. The reserve provides convenient access to the reef along with essential beach amenities such as showers, restrooms, and even a snack bar.
The reserve is well-maintained, clean, and organized, with food shops and equipment rental available. While the price is a bit high compared to free nearby spots, the underwater experience is spectacular- vibrant corals, colorful marine life, and plenty to see. The area is very accessible, and safety is taken seriously with lifeguards on duty. Showers and restrooms are available and well-kept. Most seating areas are shaded with white canopies, which helps, though it can still get extremely hot in July and August. Some downsides include ongoing renovations, which limit access to newer sections and make planning a snorkeling route a bit challenging. The designated swimming areas are small and enclosed, but beyond the bridge, there are vast open spaces where you can really explore and see a lot of beautiful marine life. Overall, it’s more comfortable and enjoyable to snorkel in a well-supervised, maintained area than in unofficial sites, and the beautiful coral and abundant sea creatures make it well worth a visit. * Pros: Clean and organized, lifeguards on duty, beautiful corals and marine life, showers and restrooms, accessible. * Cons: Entry fee is high compared to free alternatives, renovations limit some areas, enclosed swimming zones can feel small, it can get very hot in summer.

Beautiful beach. Very clean. Tidy + with all facilities to enjoy the amazing Red Sea. It is considered a national park. Not for nothing. Once you enter the water, you can swim with some of the most exotic fish +. Once you put your head into the water you see the Wonder of nature underwater. It is very friendly for kids and for families and we could find ourselves spending the whole day from morning till night over there
Erez M — Google review
Although its one of the best places to see corals and fish in Eilat. The site could be a bit more developed. There are not many showers and only one dock to enter the water and relatively small place for swimming. With limited hours of operation and mediocre services this beautiful natural reserve should get an upgrade and the site could invest some of the entrance fee in improvments.
Lior S — Google review
The world northernmost coral reef, really! Right at your foot steps in eilat, Jordan has none. This beach has the advantage of not being overcrowded and all facilities are here, showers, toilets, bar, and a small nature reserve shop and rental services if you forgot your snorkeling equipment. Note, there are no lifeguard, only park rangers, but there is a space by the beach, in shallow water for poor swimmers Plant to bring some water shoes for the beach side. The reef is accessible via a long pier, and a large staircase leading easily to the water. Then it is the wonders of the red sea!
FFM9 — Google review
One of the good beaches in Eilat Clean, had toilet, shop, walk route, bridge directly to Red see with excitement view of corals, different fish types It's needed some payment, check possible options before coming there It's better come with your own equipment Pay attention - NO SAFE GUARDS
Igor D — Google review
Our preferred place in Eilat! Every time we are in Eilat we go to this place, the best still and ever. Actually we were there every day, not a problem as we slept at the Yam Suf Hotel, only a 5 minute walk to there. 1. the beach is incredibly looked after 2. The Reserve guards are watching all the time for trespassers so very little chance something bad could happen to you while swimming 3. and of course the corals and the fish. Yes the coral are less beautiful than in the previous years, the mini tsunami a few years ago did damage the reef, but still they are interesting and the fish are till there and still super beautiful. Don't "FOMO" it, would you?
Dan M — Google review
Snorkelling is ok. Nice fish and a bit of coral. If you've been in good reef places, you won't be impressed. But if in Eilat, it's worth a visit but a bit expensive for what it offers.
Solomon K — Google review
Great place. Amazing biodiversity, the beach is nice and convenient. The corals are very close, and you can almost touch them (but you shouldn't). If you don't swim it is still nice to look on the fish and corals from the pier. There are lockers with USB charging stations, and the place is very relaxing.

Dolphin Reef Beach, located beyond Eilat's port area, offers a unique experience for animal and nature enthusiasts. Visitors can observe a pod of bottle-nosed dolphins in their natural habitat, playing, hunting, and socializing. The private beach provides all-day access with amenities such as beach chairs and umbrellas where waiters serve guests. The main attraction is the opportunity to swim, dive, and snorkel among the captive dolphins.
Absolutely loved it! The dolphins were so cute and the entrance was gorgeous! Defenitatly recommend if you are coming to Eilat. I would recommend to come early in the morning if you want to choose a good spot to spend the rest of the day. It gets crowded but there are still a lot of places under the trees to hide from the sun. The water was super clear and security was okay.
Alex D — Google review
Pretty good beach but bit of a scam because it says on the website that you can swim with the dolphins but actually you can just put your feet in and not actually swim but it was a pretty beach nonetheless
Zevi C — Google review
Excellent spot to come in the morning and spend all day here. Really enjoyed it! The dolphins can be a quest to see but with some patience and luck- you will!
Lev K — Google review
Suchhh a beautifull place to watch dolphinsss, the dolphins are free to wander in the ocean which beautifully symbolized how free they are and just how they love their care takers enough to come back all the time to hang around us! Beuaitufl resort right next to a very aesthethic looking wooden structure with a sight and a bar and places to sit every where on, on the wooden water floating structure u also get great and beautiful ocean views and can see the dolphins in the big circle! Before the wooden structures there's of course a beach u can chill in and just wander around shops and soveniers 💕✨
Liel I — Google review
Very beautiful tourist attraction! We saw 3 dolphins here! It’s about a luck to see them comming from the open sea! Student discount on the entry. Very delicious food in restaurant!
Vláďa — Google review
I have very mixed feelings about this place. We do end up here every time we come to Eilat and I like that the dolphins are free to come and go as they please BUT it’s very expensive and crowded. You just catch short glimpses of the dolphins (true it’s because they aren’t penned in which is a good thing). All of the activities cost extra and the prices are extremely high. I dunno, it’s only a so/so experience. We’ve had a much better time at some of the free beaches. The food is typical beach food with typical beach prices although I will say the Greek salad I had for lunch was quite tasty. I guess I would say, this doesn’t need to go on your Must Do list but if you’re out of activities and you need a few hours to kill, this isn’t terrible.
Rachel S — Google review
Very nice beach that combines everything. The price a bit high for family but its worth it if you didn't visit there. The food in the restaurant is great and the service is good. The relaxing place inside requires extra price and very expensive I should mention.. The dolphins are amazing and there is explanation in Hebrew and English. Most of the place is shaded and even if it full there's enough chairs and place for everyone:)

Great place, similar to an oasis. I would recommend to come early in the morning if you want to choose a good spot to spend the rest of the day. It gets crowded but there are still a lot of places under the trees to hide from the sun.

The Musical Fountain Eilat is a must-see attraction in the city. It is the largest musical fountain in Israel, featuring 350 water jets that reach up to 30 meters and are illuminated by 400 colorful LED lamps. The fountain offers a captivating show that lasts for about 15-20 minutes, accompanied by classic and modern music compositions. Visitors can enjoy the spectacle during both day and night, with the water jets changing strength and direction in sync with the music.
Spent a good night here with the family, enjoyed it very much, tho the mosquitos ate my ass

Musical Fountain In Eilat very nice and free attraction at night time for all family, especially for kids. Every show is 15 minutes of long and it's beginning at 20:30. It's show of water with led lights around and popular music in Hebrew and English. It's nice entertainment in the area. Anyway if you in Eilat it's a good place to visit and see the musical fountain by yourself, enjoy.
David — Google review
Started with a great vibe of popular music in English and then moved to old Hebrew popular songs. Really missing some classical music in my taste and can use less Hebrew songs. The fountain bearly reacts to the songs (if at all). Still was nice to sit in the air and hear some music in the middle of the town 😬

Sprinklers turn into a light and music show a few evenings every week. Free and great for families!
Arielle D — Google review
Lights were nice, but music did the job. Come 10 min early and sit on the left corner (looking form the street) There's nothing better to do in eliat after its gets dark. Show last 15 min
Przemek M — Google review
Nice musical and lights spectacle. Unexpected in a city where water is so important for survival. I hope the water is reused. It's nice for tourism, because important cities in Europe has one of these. Please put a sign with the schedule of the fountain. It starts at 20:30 and lasts 15 min.
Gabriela S — Google review
Very nice experience for the kids, the music is nice for the most parts, the sprinklers are pretty coordinated with the music, for those of you that saw these acts in Europe or the US won't be as impressed. But overall very nice place to hand out, the kids were having a great time watching the show, taking pictures with the stone fish or just running around in the grass
Avi M — Google review
Very underwhelming. Lasts about 30 minutes and it’s a mix of American top 40 and Israeli music. The lights were just kind of on....the fountains just kind of went up and down....if you’re in the neighbourhood and need somewhere to sit than I’d say go. But no need to go out of your way.

(Translated by Google) Like all the beaches in the center of Eilat, they are dirty, dirty beyond belief, with broken glass. The local mayor's office placed a large device on these beaches and farmed it out to wretched cafes, private bandits (20 shekels for a sunbed) and hotels along the coast. There is complete chaos on the beaches, people smoke, drink vodka, music and noise from 7 am until 2.3 am. For the City Hall and the state, it is not on the map - arrogant indifference. A very beautiful and cozy small beach surrounded by palm trees and restaurants near the hotels on the one side, and a lagoon with beautiful yachts and tourist shopping area with numerous outlets - on the other. The water is good, clean and pleasant, but there can be stones near the shore. The best option that I can advise everyone is to buy rubber shoes in a store near the beach specially for beaches. Pleasure and comfort for the feet are guarantee.

Nice place they offer various water attractions. We did parasailing. The place is quite expensive, but the instructors were really nice and professional. I noticed that in other places the parachute fell into the water several times, but here they managed to keep it dry and handled everything very professionally. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time at this beach. The views are incredible, the local offerings are more than sufficient, and it is overall incredibly enjoyable. I recommend (if in a large group) hiring a boat to go out further into the red sea, it's an amazing experience and the views are once in a lifetime. You can even get a speedboat to take you out for water tubing!

Ice Mall

Shopping mall
Shopping
Ice Mall in Eilat is an innovative concept that offers a one-of-a-kind experience. At the heart of the mall is a large skating complex, where visitors can enjoy skating shows and observe from restaurants and cafes on the observation deck. The surrounding area features various shops offering clothing, cosmetics, electronics, and more. Additionally, there are entertaining attractions such as virtual reality experiences, a mirror maze, Omega, a rope park, and games for children.
Ice Mall in Eilat is truly a unique and wonderful shopping destination! The mall has an amazing atmosphere, featuring a special indoor ice rink that creates a fun and refreshing experience, especially on hot Eilat days. Walking through the mall, you can find a great variety of shops, from international brands to local boutiques, offering fashion, souvenirs, and more. There are also many restaurants, cafés, and ice cream stands — perfect for taking a break and enjoying a delicious treat. The ice cream I tried here was fantastic, colorful, and full of flavor. The vibrant display immediately caught my eye, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The mall is very clean, beautifully designed with a high, geometric glass ceiling that allows plenty of natural light. It feels spacious, bright, and welcoming. Families with kids will definitely enjoy it, and there are several entertainment options for children as well. Another great thing about Ice Mall is that it is located close to many hotels and tourist attractions in Eilat, making it easy to visit even if you are only staying for a short trip. I highly recommend stopping by for shopping, dining, and a fun experience overall!
Misha S — Google review
Ice Mall is a large shopping and entertainment center, conveniently located within walking distance of most central hotels in Eilat, with parking nearby. Inside you’ll find a huge variety of shops – fashion, perfumes, electronics – along with plenty of food options and activities. It can get very crowded, which sometimes makes the atmosphere feel overwhelming, especially for parents who worry about keeping an eye on their kids. On the fun side, there are lots of games and activities for children (most for an extra fee). The ice-skating rink is the highlight – very enjoyable for kids and adults alike. Even toddlers can join with special seats designed for them, which makes the experience inclusive and fun for the whole family. * Pros: Central location, wide variety of shops, many kids’ activities, fun ice-skating rink. * Cons: Very crowded at times, extra costs for most activities, can feel overwhelming. Overall: If you enjoy shopping, family activities, and don’t mind the crowds, Ice Mall is definitely worth a visit.
Idan — Google review
Overall we had a great time at the Ice Mall, but it's a bit tough to get through when crowded. Seems like they've got too many kiosks and other shops blocking the walkways. Best to visit outside of peak times.
Yehuda G — Google review
A unique mall in Eilat featuring an ice rink at its center. Most shops revolve around clothing, though there are many decent food options and an arcade as well. A must-do if looking for something to do in the hotel district of Eilat!
Zach K — Google review
Ice skating is definitely the highlight of the mall and is very recommended. Good food in the restaurants, and many good brands of clothes and more. Very little if any shaded parking, and summer in Eilat is very hot.
Shahar E — Google review
The mall is open 7 days a week but most of the stores are closed on weekends. Super crowded and the only advantage is that it’s a circle so you can find your way fairly easily.
Noam T — Google review
Very beautiful shopping center downtown Eilat. It's medium size, includes some clothing stores, fashion accessories, places to eat, places to seat, souvenirs shops, playground for kids and ice skating attraction. One of a kind.
Menny L — Google review
The mall I always go to when vising Eilat ,one of the biggest malls we have in Israel for sure ,it has more than enough brands for all accessories U need clothing shoes electronics, toys and most importantly! Activities ,it has ice skating arena ,a circle around the mall roof omega as you see in the photos! inCase U wanna just hang out in the air for few minutes while controlling the speed of your flight 🌈 and of course restaurants and fast food services! and on the outside there's a wide view of a big lake just next to the entery and exit ,and alot of statues for the family pictures and sometimes even street performers!

The Botanical Garden in Eilat offers a tranquil experience with its peaceful stream, waterfalls, and walking paths. Despite its size, the garden is filled with interesting features such as outlandish trees with informative plaques detailing their origins. Visitors can explore the Rain Forest area where rain is simulated every 9 minutes, take photos at small waterfalls and unique plant species like the African baobab and giant cactus.
Definitely worth visiting. Very nice place a lot of shadow. Most of the wooden staff is made of reused wood. I would add in my personal opinion it's one of the best places to visit in Eilat.
Michael D — Google review
I don't know one tree or plant from another but the attraction of this place is just comprehending that they were able to build this beautiful tropical oasis in the middle of a desert. It looks like it's been there forever. I can't even imagine the effort that went in to developing this lovely oasis from scratch. We had lovely weather on a ;day in mid-March and spent 2 hours walking the trails and relaxing in the shade, a morning of tranquility. (If you have mobility issues then it would be difficult to climb some of the steep inclines and stairs. We had no problem but be forewarned).
Eric P — Google review
Its a nice little botanic garden with varied species, especially for an arid desert. Many flies around so bring some anti-mosquito cream, also obviously it's outside - so if you come when it's very hot you will have a hard time walking around.
Paz G — Google review
I was truly impressed by how many plants are thriving here in the middle of the desert. You can really feel how much love, care, and hard work have been put into creating and maintaining this beautiful garden. It’s an oasis of green and peace in Eilat! The café is also a lovely surprise - great coffee, a vegan-friendly menu, and delicious homemade sweets. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature!

Red Canyon, located in the Eilat Mountains of Israel, offers a unique hiking experience through narrow red-colored canyons with stunning scenic views. The trails are popular and accessible, making it suitable for beginners and families. The park is easily reachable from Eilat, with free parking available. It's recommended to bring food and plenty of water due to the desert environment. The approximately five-kilometer loop trails offer colorful and interesting paths for hikers to explore.
Great place to appreciate nature. Its not a long hike if you're like me, take tons of photos. Tip: we went beginning September. Its still hot so start early like we did. We woke up at 7:00 to leave by 8 no later.

The Red canyon in the Eilat mountains is one of most beautiful and attractive places for family's. The entrance to the park is completely free. It's easy and accessible mountains hike, even for a kids. Very colorful and interesting trails. It's about five kilometers long of loop trails. The place you must visit if you traveling in Israel. Recommend to visit at morning time, less crowded...
David — Google review
Very beautiful canyon. Free entry. It´s not allowed to go there at night. I do not recommend for little kids and animals, because you couldnt then cross the climbing with them. You can just enjoy a walk with them before the main tourist attraction. There is free parking, and bus 92 or 392, going every 1-2hours, and its not reliable.
Vláďa — Google review
A must visit! Absolutely incredible to see the colors and formation of the canyon. Went here with our children and they enjoyed the hike. Would highly recommend wearing good hiking boots like blundstone as you're climbing down metal bars and back up along the cliff wall. Little dangerous for todlers but great for 5+ year olds.
Rose P — Google review
A gem in Israel's desert. Busses leave every hour from Eilat and take about 30min to reach. Parking is free and besides some brosures and a map there is nothing there. So, bring food and a lot of water for your hike. We walked the longer route and it took us about 2,5 h from the main road even though we got lost a little. There aren't many people visiting this site during summer due to the heat. An opportunity for us to walk for ourselves, get great shots and see some animals. Proper shoe wear is recommended for the climbs and a lot of water is needed since shade is rare. Our bus returning didn't show up. We were lucky to get picked up by locals on their way to Eilat.
Lena T — Google review
Short (~2km) walk through the dessert dry stream. The main attraction is the climbing down the stream, with stairs pegs and after that climbing back to the parking lot. This place located about 20km from Eilat, and we made it with little children (1.5, 4.5, 9 & 12), and they succeed this "track".
Oren V — Google review
Incredible place, worth going to tale a look. Suggested for families (not babies, old family members or injured people), there is a considerable hike from the parking spot thought the field until the actual red canyon. In the canyon beautiful sightseeing amazing and fun trail. During the trail there are metal stairs in the rocks to help go up and down, (dangerous if wet).
Carlos H — Google review
It was great, especially middle of "Southern Wadi Shani" track, before congestion with red path. From Eilat take 392 bus and on the way back you might need to hitchhike. All trip from bus stop on road 12 took 3 h. We had many breaks and took our time to take photos.

Timna Park is a vast and captivating park featuring ancient mineshafts, a dry and rocky terrain, and impressive clifftops. The park offers breathtaking views of Jordan and Egypt, as well as stunning pinkish-orange mountains. It's an ideal spot for relaxation, snorkeling, hiking in the nearby area, or even joining a Petra tour from Eilat. Additionally, the southern section of the Israel Trail provides challenging routes with unique spiritual centers and desert trails.
Beautiful desert park, 20 minutes drive from Eilat. Mainly car trails with sightseeing or trekking stops, historic sites, an artificial lake, a restaurant and activities for the kids. Accessible in extreme heat or pleasant weather alike. A lot of the park is wheelchair accessible.

World oldest copper mine, in the middle of the desert. Plentiful to see, from natural wonders, rock formations, natural arches, to historical sights, such as rock carving, Egyptian temple of Athor and Egyptian underground mines, some of which you can enter and crawl in. You must come by car, there is no public transportation inside the park, but there is a well defined, well kept and made cycling route. The fee covers you for 7 days of entries, and you get a dial in code to enter the park anytime, even during tourist center closing. Do not miss the visit center, spend at keaat 40mns there, the exhibitions are well worth it, and check with the Ranger on site for guidance based on your interests and stamina. Haza was in charge that day, and outstanding guide. Thanks to his pointers we could define a trip easy for our 7 years old, with a lot of small exciting climbs and go to a massive sand dune. Near the lake / restaurant, , there is a coloured sand bottle filling station, great gifts to all visitors. From all around you have wonderful views on Israel, and over the border toward "Palestine" (aka Jordan) Do not forget, this is the desert, closed shoes are mandatory, and bring water, the only refilling station is at the very end, at the lake.
FFM9 — Google review
Beautiful nature and cool things to look at. It's just crazy what some rain in a desert can do. The park is well preserved and you can go through by car. You then have to walk just a little bit to get close to the thing. You can also do a bit longer walkings, where you get to see interesting nature. Sometimes, offroad offers you more. Unfortunately, the tabernacle was closed. I don't know if it is always closed or just when we've been there in November. If you can, buy your ticket online. There you get a combination ticket with the Underwater Marine Observatory. We didn't succeed in buying the ticket. And we don't know if it is available for people with a non Israeli credit card or phone number.
Milch J — Google review
The visit made sence, in a weird way. You think you have seen the mountains, and the park seems like a boring extend to the same mountains, but its not! Friendly people, visualization of the ancient story of the place, and much more makes it worth the visit. Much of the park is accessible by car, which makes it possible to visit, even on the hottest days. There is animals if you look in the shade of the lonely trees. I recommend it!☺️

Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve

Nature preserve

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Wildlife preserve with many rare animals, a self-guided driving tour & overnight camping.
A mini safari experience, nice for the kids. If you drive past, would be nice to stop for a visit. For visiting this place, you need to drive a car and stay inside the car at all time. Drive with a 30km/h speed limit.
Peggy M — Google review
We visited Yotvata Hai-Bar, about 30 to 40 minutes outside of Eilat. It is basically a safari-style reserve where you drive through and observe desert wildlife in a natural environment. You can see gazelles, antelopes, wild donkeys, ostriches, and different birds, all living freely without heavy human intervention. It feels much more authentic than a typical zoo. The reserve is very clean and well maintained. There is a short 10-minute film and a small kiosk with drinks and snacks. For holders of the Israel Nature & Parks Authority membership, entrance is free, so it is an easy and worthwhile stop. The full drive and visit take around 1 hour. It is a nice activity especially when traveling to or from Eilat, since it is located right on the main road. A great way to learn about desert wildlife and support conservation efforts. We really enjoyed the experience. There is a 10min movie before about the place, and a small shop, clean restrooms
Janun B — Google review
You can do the visit with your own car. We enjoyed the visit but we were a little bit disappointed since the predator zone was closed (according to the girl that sold us the tickets since 2016). They gave us a map with the name of the animals but there was no other information in the brochure. I think that they need to renew a little bit the installations. There is a picnic zone in the entrance and also a WC.

Jacques Z — Google review
Nice place to visit for a change of pace, but can't say there is a lot to do there. Nice to see the animals at a very natural and spacious environment and I can appreciate that, but gets pretty monotonousness after 30 minutes, don't expect the place to entertain the family for more than an hour. I heard it used to be bigger, but nowadays you can mainly see only Ostriches, Arabian Oryxes and Donkeys (I'm sure I'm missing something, but no more predators at the Hai-Bar as of 2020).
V_M_P — Google review
Absolutely amazing place. I volunteered here for a few weeks, with a friend in February 2017. The staff/rangers are truly incredible people. Their devotion to the animals and the guests who volunteer is like none other. I would highly recommend stopping by this amazing sanctuary. During the course of my volunteering I became much more aware and appreciative of desert life. I learned that the a lot of the animals within the reserve are kept away from the general public, as to keep them relaxed and comfortable. I thought this was fantastic and a very rare thing to see. Almost every place that cares for animals, also uses whatever ways they can to gain money and attention from said animals. Not the Hai-Bar. It might not be the best for visitors but I commend them for their actions. They would rather live comfortably knowing the animals are safe and not stressed. That should be respected! P.S. Just so you know, the desert actually contains pretty much any animal that you can find anywhere else. Just smaller, more adapted to conditions. (I'm often asked why I would volunteer at an animal sanctuary in the desert)
R. L — Google review
A little safari park with a lot of ostriches, different kind of funny deers, horses, etc. The animals are close to the road so you can see them well from your car. You need to stay in your car during the visit. If you stop next to an ostrich they will try to eat some invisible things from your car. So if you see an ostrich near a car and picking something it doesn't necessarily mean that they are feeding the animal, it can mean that the bird thinks that it can eat the car and it's really funny to see. You need to drive on a dirt road but it's doable with any kind of car. Ask for the CD/pendrive that explains everything about the park, it's full of interesting info.
Anna U — Google review
Not very excited tour, but definitely worth to visit. You can drive around in your own car what is taking around 30-45 minutes. You will see all animals which are living in the dessert.

Wadi Rum Safari Camp offers a unique experience in the heart of the desert. Visitors can explore the narrow red-rock fissures with ancient inscriptions and petroglyphs, including drawings of ostriches and other symbols. The camp provides comfortable cabins nestled under a cliff face for an authentic overnight stay. With friendly and helpful hosts, such as Salem and his family, guests can enjoy peaceful evenings by the fire with delicious sage tea.
Amazing experience, nice hospitality, and very helpful staff. Food was gorgeous.

Unfortunately I must rate it for 1*. I came back from the desert and wanted to stay in the village so I booked this camp. Can you imagine how surprised I was when they tried to bring me back to the desert? The location is wrong, that is just a meeting point for an expensive jeep ride to the desert. I lost too much time finding a place to sleep in the village, because all of the camps are located in the desert, not in the village. If you have the correct location I wouldn't lose my time for booking you.

If you are planning to go to Wadi Rum, please don’t choose the Wadi Rum Safari Camp Rooms are not clean, plenty of dust and very tired A/C does not work until 8pm when you really don’t need because they want to save energy When you book they did not alert that you should pay 30JOD (around 39 euros) for the transfer from the official entrance of the desert to the camp. No one help us with the luggage from and to the room I can’t give any good word except for the location, indeed in the desert that is beautiful

Wadi Rum may be a desert, but it's far from ordinary. This incredible landscape carries centuries of history — once a vital trade route linking Iran, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. With its dramatic red sands, towering rock formations, and wide-open silence, it's a place that leaves a lasting impression. Entry is free with the Jordan Pass, and once inside, a Jeep tour is a must. I highly recommend the 4-hour tour — it hits all the major highlights, gives you time to sip herbal tea in a local Bedouin village, and includes some adrenaline-pumping rides through the sand dunes. Our driver made the dune drifting part a blast — we couldn’t stop smiling! If you're planning to stay overnight (and you should!), book a tent inside the protected area. Watching the sunset fade into a night full of stars is a surreal experience. Don’t miss the stargazing tour — the desert sky here is unbelievably clear. Dinner is another highlight — a traditional meal slow-cooked underground in the sand for over three hours. The flavor and the experience both are unforgettable. Wadi Rum is more than just a desert — it’s an experience of nature, history, and Bedouin hospitality all in one. Absolutely worth the visit!

A magnificent, unforgettable view where the blue sky meets the orange dunes against the backdrop of majestic mountains. You can ride a jap or a camel, stroll through the dunes, sleep overnight in a tent or a cabin, or admire the starry night sky. I highly recommend it; it's an unforgettable experience.

Wadi Rum is where the Earth pretends to be Mars. It does a pretty convincing job: giant red cliffs, red sand, and silence so thick it hums .. its really, really quiet. Most people stay in one of the many bubble or dome camps, which look like space pods which are scattered all over the desert. These are great, but to really get a feel of the place you’ve got to explore. I hiked up to Burdah Rock Bridge (a 1.5 hour scramble worth every sweaty step) or wander the canyons. If you're staying overnight, one or two nights is perfect: long enough to feel lost in another world, short enough not to get bored.

Best desert experience ever. Amazing natural beauty. If you need to make a choice between Petra and Wadi Run. Best to do Wadi rum safari. Sleeping in a tent is ok. The tent we stayed in was a deluxe tent, more like 1 star. Dinner was good. Breakfast was a total dispointment. It's better to stay somewhere else

Absolutely mind-blowing. This is the desert where the Martian and Dune were filmed and we can see why! Definitely stay for the sunset!

This place can't be more magical! No one visiting Jordan should skip this. The atmosphere, the weather, the view, and everything. It is just magical! We had a couple of hours ride tour. I found it a bit short honestly, but still enough to make sure I am coming again to visit at some point in my life. Highly recommend!!

It was an amazing experience. I don’t know if we were just lucky, but the driver who took us on the jeep tour heard that we were hungry and gathered small dried wood pieces from the sand to make a fire. He baked bread for us, and we had tea. The sunset was incredible.

Lawrence’s Spring granite-sandstone contact

Lawrence’s Spring is a natural spring located in a red rocky desert, famously mentioned in T.E. Lawrence's 'Seven Pillars of Wisdom.' The climb to the spring is not through a single path, allowing visitors to choose their own route. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the top, and the steep climb can be managed by individuals of varying ages.
Phenomenal views after a short climb (however sturdy closed-toe footwear recommended as I cut my feet up on some of the sharp granite rocks). Friendly Bedouins at the base who serve tea and coffee. 😊

Beautiful view of the desert after you scrambled up the mountain! Wear good grip shoes/sandals, take water with you. First stop of the jeep tour from the village so pretty crowded at the base. On the way back to the village, we stopped here again to take a 1/2h camel ride (5jd/per) back to the village. Highly recommend the camel ride, super fun experience and just a right amount of time. The camels are cute and seem to be well-looked after!

Nice views from the spring which itself is just unattractive small water hole. The climb is not easy and descent even more difficult due to big rocks. Take it easy and slow!

The way up and down to the spring is not done trough a single path. You can start from any point and make your way up to the top as you see fit. It is under the sun at all time so plan to take water. It is a rather short climb though steep of about 15 mins. We could easily manage the climb with an 11, 13 and 15 years old. On the top you’ll find a very small spring that resembles a pond and that the Bedouin have tap into to bring water down the valley for the animals.

Make sure you do a multi day visit to wadi rum because this site and the other ocuple ones close to the village are innundated with tourists and not all that much fun. If you can get to the back of the desert you can have similar places all to yourself.

Check the rock with the ancient writings, climb up the mountain (take water). The view is insanely beautiful! Then enjoy Bedouin tea when you get down. This is a regular stop for all tours - Jeep or camel, so later in the morning can become pretty crowded. Highly recommend doing it though! One of the highlights of our tour!

Most jeep tours end here. I didn't think it was worth climbing up and I'm glad I didn't. If you do, I suggest you do so very early.

Beautiful views, short hike up from the foot of the hill over rocky terrain (avoiding the piping!). There's also a rock at the base with petroglyphs for extra perusal.

We absolutely loved our stay at Wadi Rum Fire Camp! The jeep tour was incredible, offering breathtaking views of the beautiful landscape. Our guide was super friendly and made the experience even better. The camp itself is stunning, and the buffet was excellent with a great variety of food. The beds were comfortable, and even though it got chilly at night, the provided blankets kept us perfectly warm. Highly recommend this camp for an unforgettable experience in Wadi Rum!

The jeep tour was awesome! We went to 4 sites and had some tea in a Bedouin tent afterwards. Our guide, Salam, told us about each of the sites and pointed out important things we would have missed otherwise. We even started the tour early, at our request, since we made it to the site a couple of hours earlier than anticipated. I highly recommend booking this for your Wadi Rum adventure!

Salim (our tour guide) was super kind. He took us to all the best spots in Wadi Rum, explained everything clearly, and never rushed us. We even caught the sunset at the perfect time, his planning was on point. No need to worry about food either. Salim and the chef are amazing cooks. They served us a lot of traditional Bedouin dishes and tea. We were super full and happy all day. They'll drop you back at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center or Wadi Rum Guest House anytime before 9 AM. If you're not sure how to get to Petra, Amman, or Aqaba, just ask. they've got all the info you need. Only downside: the tent. Nights in Wadi Rum are really cold, so they give you three blankets per bed, but the dust was everywhere (rmb it's deep in the desert). I was scratching all night 😂 Also, the toilet is outside the tent, so definitely handle your business before bed!

Had an absolutely amazing experience with Wadi Rum Fire Camp. We booked the full day tour with hiking and sleeping under the stars. Communication to book the experience was top notch. I had a lot of questions that was very promptly answered to help me understand what I was getting. There were no extra hidden costs and everything was included. We had Salem as our guide and was super happy with him as our guide, driver and chef and talking to us about wadi rum and bedoin life. We did the burdah Arch hike, which was exceptional. It was definitely different to a traditional hike, as you are hiking up into the rock the whole time, therefore completely full of climbing and scrambling. But I loved it. Sleeping under the stars was magical too. There were two beds for us set up in the middle of the desert. Food was super. I would definitely recommend the Fire Camp to others who are wanting an exceptional experience.

We did a 2 day/ 2 night tour with the Wadi Rum Fire Camp and we loved it. The tour was well organized and everything was included. The guides are very knowledgeable and welcoming. The camp was cozy with shared showers and toilets. It is worth to stay several nights to experience the full beauty of the desert. We also booked one night sleeping under the stars which was a bed in the middle of the desert. An awesome adventure!
