Zenia Boulevard is a fantastic shopping experience! The mall has a great mix of shops for every taste, from fashion and homeware to electronics and gifts. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the outdoor design makes it a pleasure to stroll around. The food court is excellent too, with plenty of choices to suit everyone – from quick bites to sit-down meals. A perfect place to shop, eat, and enjoy a great day out!
Really big shopping center where you will probably find what you are looking for. You just have to be careful at the first time visiting to find the right exit. From Torrevieja bus station bus "L" goes in front of the door
Nice shopping area that have many brand stores and much else. A plus for the very nice toilets but a minus for the restaurants (a bit pricey for what you get). Of course this is friendly to wheelchairs. There are also playgrounds for kids, they seem to love the water fountain.
Amazing shopping center that got everything you need. Open roof so you really get an amazing experience walking around the shopping center. Big name Stores and restaurants so you will definitely find something to buy. Plenty of restaurants to choose from for both lunch and dinner. They even have a playground for the kids with enough seating close by for the adults to sit down but still have a good view on their kids. You can even rent battery-powered cars for the kids to drive around the shopping center with the option for the parents to control the car with a remote.
Call out to all UK shopping centers. Visit this place to see how a shopping centre should be run. It's spotlessly clean, shops are full and not boarded up, free parking and it's packed full of shoppers. It's a great place to shop for clothes or food. Plenty of cafes and ice cream parlours, places for kids to play. Open until late in the evening for convenience after work. I've not heard a bad thing said about Zenia Shopping Centre.
Beautiful shopping centre! So clean and absolutely amazing for children, places to play at every turn. They even have little cars they can drive around to rent! Perfect for parents who want to go shopping but dread taking their kids who find it boring. Not here they won’t! 🥹
a good time to spend leisure time and buy things necessary for everyday life, also a large grocery store, where you can buy many different products. A large selection of clothes from the budget option to the expensive. A large selection of shoe stores. Many good cafes and restaurants. Having arrived here you can spend whole days :)

Nice, huge beach. Big disappointment that you have to take own sunbeds and sunbrellas.
I personally didnt have a nice experience there. When we went there were a lot of seaweed washed up on shore and I could not enjoy the beach as much as I wanted. I might reconsider my opinion if I visit on another day, however it was a nightmare to step on the seaweed. It is a fine sandy beach, but it is overcrowded. I would not recommend it to people who dislike crowds. There are toilets and also foot washing devices.

Really enjoyed La Mata. We visited on a Wednesday and the market was on. It was huge. Struggled to get parked but once we did we stayed & had a fabulous day. Will definitely return.
My favourite beach in the region so far with little algae and lots of sand, it’s pleasant to swim there. But it is crowded in the summer and very difficult to park there even though it’s free

Tabarca is a small islet with famously clear waters protected by its marine reserve designation. Visitors can take a day trip to the island on a glass-bottomed catamaran to explore the vibrant marine life and crystal-clear waters. It was a great little trip, boat ride over there. I expected an island with little on there, however, got there to find one half had a few houses Inc little boutique shop and some cafes and restaurants.
The other half was the military side, which had interesting facts and ruins from way back, lovely cliff walking and beautiful stoney beaches.
We spent approx 3 hours there, took a picnic, bin are there to dispose of rubbish, and a loo opposite the beach, you could definatly spend longer by going swimming etc, overall a wonderful day out.

Super nice island to spend the day, it definitely gets very packed in the main bay. It’s nice to have a stroll around and they have a few stores. I would not recommend using the bathrooms there though not clean at all.

Nice place to visit. On my perspective, not to stay overnight unless you have special activities to engage - the tourist tour can be covered in one day.
No sandy beaches, round stone mainly. However, the water is clean, warm, and transparent.
Bar / Restaurant offer is OK. Prices seemed a bit high. A small but nice art gallery may grab the visitor's attention.
A great day out, very clear and warm waters with a variety of swimming spots, great for snorkeling. Stayed on the main beach and felt safe leaving our bags (with non-valuable items), after seeing others do the same, while we explored the different swimming spots on the island
Visiting Tabarca Island felt like finding a secret Mediterranean world. Only a few dozen residents live here, yet the seafood restaurants are incredible — fresh fish grilled by the sea, chilled white wine, and calm ocean breeze. It’s peaceful, photogenic, and perfect for anyone who wants real island life without the crowds. I’d come back just for the food and silence. 🌊✨
Such a beautiful island near our house. We rode a big boat from Santa Pola that costs us 10€ back and forth. There's a line of ticket booths in the port. They will give you a brochure to show the boat return times. It was a nice 25-minute ride. It can be super hot so don't forget to bring sun creams, hats and umbrella. We went around the island to see spots with few people because the main beach is packed. We ate at a nice restaurant with menu starting €18. Though we end up paying more than €100 for 4 persons. Costly like other islands. We didn't have a reservation but I suggest to have one as it can be full especially on weekends. There are small bars and restaurants and few stores for clothes and souvenirs. There's also an atm near the La Pecera. Also bring aqua shoes. Some beaches have stones and slippery. We will definitely go back.

The experience is not only scenic but also budget-friendly, as accessing both the castle and elevator is free.
A great trip to the top of the castle, with the most amazing views. Cafe and toilets.
You may have to queue for the lift up to castle, but it’s well worth the wait.
Price for entry was €2.70 ish, but we got in free as ‘seniors’!!
There seemed to be less queues to go down in the lift at the Castle level, as I think most people took a toilet break (level 2) so queues were longer there.

Absolutely brilliant place to spend a couple of hours. It's free to access but if you want to use the lift it cost €2.70 (can only pay by card). A few refreshment areas within the castle selling drinks and ice cream. Well worth a visit!
You have the option to go up the castle via the side walk (not very hard but neither easy) or take the lift (you need a ticket). If you go up via the park you can go down without the need to buying a ticket - pretty convenient. The lift is the best option for a hot or rainy day, or with limited mobility.
When visiting Alicante, it is essential to set aside half a day to explore this castle, and all its history, which is rich and varied. You will have the opportunity for an incredibly beautiful view of the city and the sea. We recommend from the bottom of our hearts.
When I visited Alicante, I’m so glad I took the time to explore this castle, it was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. The history is so rich and interesting, and walking through the different areas really makes you feel connected to the past. The views from the top are absolutely stunning; seeing the whole city and the sea from up there felt amazing. I truly recommend setting aside at least half a day for it. From my heart, this is a place you don’t want to miss.
The elevator up to Castille de Santa Barbara is access from the beach side. Cross the road towards the castle and you will see the entrance. The cost of the elevator is only a few euros per person well worth the spend. Take the elevator up, then do yourself a favor, and walk down through the tiny Pueblo (village) Barrio de Santa Cruz.
Fantastic views across the city of Alicante.
Get there just before sunset to watch it setting in the West.
We visited for a Wine tasting session in the evening, very popular so need to book well in advance.
The view is nice. There’s an elevator from the beach side — the ride costs €2.70.

The hotel was chosen for its close proximity to the Teatro and the rooms set amidst a beautiful garden. We booked a Junior Suite which was a lovely stroll amongst the greenery. Extremely clean big bedroom with big bed, big tv and a big spa bath in the big bathroom. All staff were happy and helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was very good. Plenty for 4 courses if you're that way inclined! We didn't use the restaurant as we ate out but the bar and bar staff were good too. Excellent (yes) 'big' pool area adorned with lovely twinkling lights for the evening.
What a beautiful botanic garden set in the middle of Elche. All the specimen plants and trees were very well labelled. Admission is about 5 euros with a slight discount for pensioners. The only negative is the availability of parking resulting in circling the narrow streets of Elche several times. There is a large underground parking about 300 mtrs away but there is a hotel with the same name much closer that would b much closer
Tranquil, picturesque place with lots of palms from around the world, quite a variety of cacti, peacocks walking around, water features. All creates an atmosphere of joy, peace and tranquility. We love feeding peacocks as there is a special food available to buy next to the exit.

We've visited this park more times and it's always nice to visit. Bit small, but you can definitely spend a few hours here.

Amazing place. Definitely recommend to visit with children before 10-12 years. Beatiful shows. You can do pictures together with sea lion, dolphin, parrot, lemur. The park has beautiful territory and zoo. There are few restaurants on the park.
What a special place. So much fun! Negatives, its a little pricey, and they dont have a vast amount of animals. The pros, wow, the shows are phenomenal, especially the dolphin show. Amazing, just amazing. Yes its pricey, but honestly the shows itself make it worth it! Get over there. €20 cash or €17 (paid online) to touch a dolphin and have a photo (included) is such amazing value. You wont find better.
So while its not a cheap day out, it's 100% worth it, and id go back again, and again.
Nice animal Park got discounted tickets so went with family. The dolphin and sea lion show were amazing definitely recommend going and seeing them. At the top. Is a great view of aqualandia which is right next door. Overall a good place to visit with family.
Pretty cool. We did combine tickets with Aqualandia. So we visited this place in the morning. We arrived about half past 10 which gave us time to look around and the watch the parrot show. Which was very informative. 2 of the parrots did not listen to the trainers and decided they were staying out just jumping on the rope. After that we headed to the sea lion show to watch some very happy sea lions and then the dolphin show, which has 8 dolphins doing tricks. The place is small so wouldn't recommend spending the whole day there as you can watch all the shows and see all the other animals in around 3 hours. Prices for photos with animals is around €20 euros I recommended paying for these before you enter the park.
In my opinion, Mundomar a bit too pricey, compared to Oceanografic in Valencia. However, dolphins did an amazing job performing, the instructors are great. Stunning view from the top! I liked it
It was a good day plenty to see and great shows.But don't bother with getting the VIP TOUR as you are unable to take Photos as they block you and say only me.The photographer was a bit rude and right in my face as I attempted to get a photo.
A great day was had by the whole family. The animals were amazing, well worth going to the shows, birds, sealion, and dolphin.
There are other experiences which we didn't do this time.
We purchased the combo ticket for mundomar and aqualandia, which was a good saving.

Levante beach was simply beautiful. It is well maintained, clean and safe. Sunbeds can be rented for only 6 euro for the day. Excellent place to relax.
Lovely beach but very busy. Chairs and umbrellas €6 each, you just sit down and someone comes round to pay. Close to shops you have people walking up and down selling cocktails and offering massages. A place with taps to wash the sand off your feet. A warning women do walk around and lounge top less if this offends anyone.

I visited Platja de Llevant in Benidorm at the end of December, and the weather was surprisingly warm, not hot enough for a swim, but perfect to enjoy the sun and a long walk by the sea.

This is the other beachfront in Calpe, less crowded, where walkers find the usual restaurants, bars and souvenirs shops. Ideal for a short stroll. The beach itself is wide, it must be packed during the summer months. The beach is cleaned up everything morning by the municipality technical services. There are benches along the way which allows for frequent breaks.

Fantastic & Scenic Beach in Calpe
This is a scenic beach in Calpe, it is very long very wide and the sand is great. It has lots of shops, boutiques, restaurants & cafés around it.
The water is quite shallow so good for the young kids. The best part though is the fabulous view of the rock! We really enjoyed our time in Calpe.
Two minute walk from our hotel, a lovely walk down towards the rock and then it continues all around to the town centre. Very clean and great to just stroll and enjoy the sunshine and views.
Blue flag beach with crystal clear water and nice sandy beach, although the beach is becoming narrower. Unfortunately the city council are hoodwinked into believing that allowing the dead seaweed to pile up is environmentaly friendly. But not for the economy of the city which relies on tourists. It stinks and is really smelly and you have to climb mountains of it to get to the sea. The contract for sunbed management is also messed up by the incompetent City Council, so no sunbeds or umbrellas for hire. Shame because it used to be beautiful!
Very nice area for evening walk and also great beach although we weren't beaching there. If was clean, not that busy and with great views! The letters of Calpe are a nice place to have a photo at (of course I have had a few). There are also lots of bars and restaurant that you coild choose from for a drink or a meal. Would recommend it, if in the area.
It's a very beautiful beach, great view but it's quite crowded most of the time and the beach is mainly with rocks not sands so have to be careful!

This place is very different and great place to get fab photos especially in all the different country themes.

A epic theme park loved it, very good value for money, plenty to do for adults and a good selection of rides for small kids. Quite a few shows, realt impressed with the cleanliness of the park, plenty of toilets and bins ( with ashtrays ) food selection is your typical stuff with beer as well. Good size car park with taxi rank only 15 euros to the beach in benidorm and hotels. Staff are polite and speak some english as well as spanish and other languages. PARK IS SET UP FOR DISABLED PERSONS AND BUGGIES IN MIND 😉
We visited Terra Mítica during Halloween 2025, and it turned out to be a fantastic place to enjoy with the kids. The rides are really well done—just note that most of the big ones require children to be over 1.4 meters tall. One of mine was a bit shorter and was a little disappointed she couldn’t go on everything, but that’s something to keep in mind.
A fun tip: there are two water rides—one on a smaller setup and one on a big boat. We ended our day on the big boat ride and got absolutely soaked. The good news is I learned afterward that they have drying facilities on site—something I wish I’d known sooner! So you can dry off before heading out if you get drenched.
All in all, Terra Mítica is a great spot for family fun, especially during the Halloween season. Just keep those height requirements and the handy drying stations in mind.
Such a disappointing review. Initially, I wanted this review to be 5* however there were some segments of my day that didn’t go particularly well to my desire.
Why so?
I waited for one of the rides: EL LABERINTO DEL MINOTAURO and we waited for 41 minutes in a hot room without any sprinklers present to cool you down. Additionally, once I got onto the ride, the laser things weren’t working properly even though I accurately aimed at the targets. You should honestly fix that ride. This ride is the chief reason why I rated this theme park 3*.
However, there more positives than negatives… I really enjoyed the water rides: the rapids and that ride with the huge drop at the end and you get absolutely. But due to meteorological conditions. You will dry extremely fast within 15 minutes at least, fully.
I also went on the orange swing ride (whatever it is called) which was so fun.
Furthermore, prior to riding the orange swing ride, I went on the blue rollercoaster something associated with Titan theme (I think). That was highly fun and I do recommend it.
What a fun place, where you can soend the whole day. All the water rides are the best fun and on a hot day getting wet was great. The park itsellesi is a master piece and so clean aswell. All the sets and atmosphere, with different countries and eras. The shows are great with really talented actors, dancing, singing, stunts and the stage settings. The pirate show was amazing, loved it. All in all a great day. Yes it does take a lot of money to enjoy, since food and especially drinks are very expensive. But if you compare to theme parks around the world, entry fees are not as high for the quality of this theme park. It really is a place to see and experience. We will be back.
A great day out with loads to enjoy. Every time we have visited there are very few queues for the rides, great water play areas and amazing shows. We always try and visit once a year and haven't ever been disappointed!
It’s a great place to visit with your family when you're in Benidorm — huge, clean, and packed with fun games. If you purchase tickets online, you’ll receive a wristband, which lets you skip the queue by using the “entry for disabled” line. However, this wasn’t clearly explained, and it should definitely be made more obvious.

I had a fantastic experience at this safari park. The staff are polite, friendly, and very professional. Everyone we interacted with spoke English, so if you don’t speak Spanish, you won’t have any problems. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, and you can see them from surprisingly close distances, which makes the whole visit really exciting.
One important thing to know: the last chance to buy a ticket is at 4:00 PM, although the park itself remains open until 7:00 PM. Three hours is more than enough time to explore everything without feeling rushed.
My personal recommendation is to arrive on a weekday just before the ticket office closes, around 3:40 PM. By that time the crowds have thinned out, so you won’t end up stuck in a line of cars, and you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the park.
Also, don’t miss the drive on the final stretch before you arrive. The road winds through the mountains, and the scenery is absolutely stunning — it really adds to the experience.
I’m putting three stars as the personal was helpful and the safari ( first part of the experience) by itself is actually nice, animals enjoyed a lot of space and the local guide explained well. It just becomes sad when you see the Lion, wolves and tiger in relatively small cage.
The highlight was to see a woman in a keffiyeh — symbol of anti-colonial struggle — sipping the view next to a Coca-Cola vending machine (aren’t they supposed to boycott that?). She’s taking photos of a meerkat in a cage while dressed in the attire of resistance. Paying for entry to a zoo, supporting capitalism, and snapping pictures of imprisoned animals… all while wearing a scarf that screams “freedom.”
Modern activism looks a lot like selective outrage wrapped in tourist behavior. Hypocrisy, neatly packaged.
If you’re looking for a unique wildlife experience, this zoo is an absolute gem. Even getting there feels like part of the adventure. The drive winds through a stunning mountain landscape with breathtaking views around every other corner. Just be aware that parts of the road are quite narrow and twisty, so take it easy and enjoy the scenery.
Once you arrive, the experience really kicks off. You use your own car for a guided tour through the park, stopping at each animal area while the guide shares interesting facts in both Spanish and English. The tour begins with curious ostriches and ends with the majestic lions, and in between you’ll meet zebras, camels, water buffalo, wolves, and even tigers. It’s incredible to see these animals up close in such a natural setting.
After the driving tour, there’s a smaller zoo area where the “little guys” live. This part is perfect for stretching your legs and wandering around. Here you’ll meet everything from lemurs to giant tortoises, and don’t miss Eddie the Lama – he’s a total charmer and loves meeting visitors. To make it even more magical, peacocks roam freely everywhere you go. They’re so beautiful and add to the special atmosphere.
What really stands out here is how well the animals are cared for. The whole park is dedicated to protecting endangered species and rescuing animals that haven’t had the best start in life. You can tell the staff are passionate about what they do, and it’s reassuring to see the animals living in spacious, clean environments.
A little tip: bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes. There’s quite a bit of walking involved, and it can get very warm, especially in summer.
This place is an unforgettable experience for animal lovers and families alike. The combination of amazing animals, stunning surroundings, and a genuine focus on conservation makes it something special. Highly recommended – this is the kind of place you’ll want to tell all your friends about afterwards.
We visit the Safari on Sunday it’s a long drive up to the mountains. Once you get there the drugstore will guide you to see all the animals. You can buy your tickets online or at the counter.

We took the guided tour and got a lot of info about the animals from the guide. The animals is in good condition but would like to see more greenery in the animals closure. The tour lasted over 2hrs so bring something to drink. We ate at the restaurant after and we recommend the cheese and bacon burger 👍 Nice staff.

Must visit place. One of the most stunning castles. The parking on the top is about 20-30 spots and half empty at Friday 1pm. Plan at least 1 hour.
The castle of Xàtiva is a beautiful castle, situated on a steep ridge above the town. Take the car or a bus, it is quite a steep climb!
The castle has a few small exhibits, set up beautifully and with care. The smaller part of the castle to the left has some beautiful views and the walls are mostly intact.
The larger part is a bit of a walk, but has a moorish fountain, some moorish Brick work and the remnants of a large castle. It also has a commanding view of the surroundings. Definitely worth a visit!
Caught the train from Valencia, about an hour and then we took the direct route as per Apple Maps rather than the
Longer easier route on google maps. Not too bad a climb although some of the steps are quite high. There are drinks machines just inside the castle gate and you can refill with water at nearby drinking fountain.
The castle itself is very cool, would have been a bit easier to navigate the displays inside the castle if there had been more English but we managed.
Fantastic views across the valley from the top and we took some great photos of the castle itself.
Took the slow windy way down and had lunch in town before getting the train back to Valencia. Very pleasant day out.
The best place to hang out with family and return to medieval times and history. Expect a minimum of 2 hours. Don't forget to take a map at the ticket desk and water. The temperature inside the castle is much higher than outside because of the walls. The outstanding view of the town - looks like a mosaic.
Travelled from Valencia by train to Xativa, once your at station you can walk 40 mins to castle or take taxi for 10 euros. The castle it self very beautiful and it is a must visit. Stunning views and so much history
Always memorable with new discoveries. This was my 5th visit. This place never loses it’s Wow factor for me. I always take family and friends to explore the castle and local environs.
None of my visitors have been disappointed and my two young nieces 8 and 5 were absolutely enthralled.
It is all uphill but worth the energy to get to the top. Best to get a taxi in Xativa to the drop off point, explore then walk down. Not for the feint hearted…

Despite many bad reviews we went there, and didn't regret it for a minute.
It's a small aqua park, with many life guards and kind staff.
The longest waiting time was about 40 minutes for the "black hole" but it was worth it, so much fun. Waiting places shaded. Clean toilets. For lunch we had pizzas and they were freshly baked not frozen ones, reasonable price.

It is nice place to go with smaller kids, but there is enough water for everyone and a few places smaller kids can't go😁

Lovely water park and very good facilities for special needs people. The rides are good and the water clean. And there were a lot of attentive lifeguards! If you book tickets directly through their website, you can save up to 20%. We visited on our way to the airport and spent a few enjoyable hours there. It’s a spacious, well-maintained park with excellent facilities
The waiting times in the queues are far too long! My daughters had two rides of 30 seconds each in 1.5 hours. This on a Monday. Also, the photos that are being forced onto the guests are way too expensive (9Euros) and it is such a waste of paper to throw the rest away. Absolutely not ecological!
Finally, the entrance to the water park is really steep, but it does not stop there, the prices for food and beverages are exaggerated (4 Euro for a soft drink!) and there is nothing healthy eat on the whole premises (I ordered a Ceaser salad, but it was made with greasy bacon and chicken nuggets instead of lean chicken breast). We bought a all inclusive bracelet, but the first purchase we made was already not according to the advertised conditions (apparently the bag of chips counted as two items instead of one!) and when we wanted to take an ice cream at 6:02 pm we were told, the badge is only valid until 1hour before closing (7pm). This too, was not stated in the conditions of use and felt like a rip off! On the whole, the impression one gets at the park is that all Auquapolis wants is more money, money fore every little service (sun beds for 9 Euros, locker for 8 Euros) and one is left with the question why did I pay 30 Euros per person to start off ?
Huge queue to get in the parking space and it is charge 5€. You have to wait anothe rqueue to entry it suppose to open only at 11:30pm it ia bit late for a summer period. All cleaned and staffs are bit angry when you need to speak with them. Th semi private booths next to the main pool which you have to pay for separately.
Then another big queue for every water slide you want to go on - expect to wait 20-30 minutes for each amusement. If you want it faster you need to pay extra 20€ each.
They have a restaurant buy you are allowed to bring your food and drinks.
Definitely not worth it's price of 26€ but the promotion 2x1 was far.
There is not high level water places option to make super adventure for adults, it seems more for children.

Great Aquapolis, however, it's not great experience especially during the weekends as it's too crowded. You have to wait too much time for each of the slides and water attractions, and your time is lost in waiting rather than enjoying them.
Great place to spend the day with the kids! Mine absolutely love it even if they have to queue for sometime. We took the seasonal pass which costs 300€ for a family of four, I think it’s cheaper to do so. It gives you 4 parking tickets per pass and you can bring food and coolers which is not allowed in other water parks(the food is horrible there so better bring yours). You need to pay for the loungers but picnic tables are free so people squatt those 🤭

There are a lot of opportunities for a family to have fun. There are a dozen of different slides, with or without water rings. Also, restaurants are ok with prices of about 3€ for ice cream or drinks. Area for small children in excellent.
Area for improvement is waiting time for slides and rings. Plan to spend at least 30min waiting for a ring, for slides with rings, or 30min for slides not requiring rings. Simply, the concept forces you to buy a Speed pass in order to have some fun on slides, but this increases the price significantly.

Oceanogràfic is a major attraction located within the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain. It is Europe's largest marine park, featuring over 20,000 creatures from 650 different species. This place is awesome, so much things to see. I recommend take some warm clothes, as in arctic area is 17C or even colder so wearing some a jacket is a must, there are plenty of food to try, also there are 3 shows daily with dolphins, apx 20minut each, so check the time for the show. Most of the places has outer and inner parts so it is great to check the outer parts and then take elevator or stairs and check what's under the ground.
Overall me and my 4yo toddler has enjoyed the the 3.5 hour long tour. It is definitely worth a try.
P.S. sometimes, especially on holidays or weekends the place is crowded and the queue for the ticket is huge, so I recommend to buy tickets online as there is no difference.

The food inside quality should be improved. The value for money is disappointing. Dishes hot in the exterior and almost frozen in the middle.
The security staff should help the clients; in our case, they had long personal discussions, ignoring the visitors.

The L'Oceanogràfic is one of Valencia's biggest attractions, a true showcase. The ticket price seemed high for our budget, but after entering and seeing these wonders, I realized it was a bargain. The animals look well-cared for and have plenty of space. The dolphin arena is a real gem. I felt the dolphins were happy; you could see their bond with their trainers, and the instructor focused on educating people about these magnificent animals and their health. Initially, I thought the area was small and would be a quick tour, but it turned out that the coolest aquariums and trails are underground, pleasantly cool (good for hot weather). It was amazing to see the belugas and underwater passages with sharks and other creatures overhead, within arm's reach. I felt the magic of this place the entire time, like a child. The photos capture it perfectly! You can buy a combined ticket to the facilities in the city of science, but THIS is a gem and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
I liked the marine animals, beautiful buildings with modern architecture. Arrows on the floor were useful to help you follow a predefined route, to easily go through all the dark rooms with aquariums. I liked the call for everyone to get involved and make changes for a better planet. The dolphin show was a bit boring, a few jumps, swimming with 2 employees and that's it. I've seen better shows at dolphinariums. If you want a good seat go there with many minutes before the show.
This place was awesome. Lots of fish. We even saw whales a crocodile penguins.
Jellyfish and lots of other animals and exciting things to see. I would definitely go again as you couldn’t see from the photos there is a lot to see and a lot to do it does cost. It cost us €38 per person. I don’t know what that will be for people looking at this in a few years time.

Went with the vision this would probably rate as a childrens zoo. Not at all it was amazing. Such a different perspective of the sea creatures which interacted with you as you passed along underwater tunnels. Clean, good food, exceptional staff and most of all the most hilarious penguins I've ever met. Prepare to be intrigued, delighted and entertained.
I recently visited Oceanogràfic in Valencia, and it was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The aquarium is beautifully designed, easy to explore, and filled with an impressive variety of marine life from all around the world. Out of all the exhibits, the dolphins and sea lions were definitely the highlights of my visit. Watching the dolphins was truly unforgettable — they were energetic, playful, and clearly well-cared for, and their interactions with the trainers made the experience both educational and entertaining.
The sea lions were equally captivating, with their curious personalities and lively behaviour. I could have spent hours watching them glide through the water and interact with each other. The whole place feels very immersive, and the layout allows you to get close to the animals without feeling crowded or rushed.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well-maintained and clean, from the walkways to the viewing areas. Whether you’re visiting as a family, a couple, or even on your own, there’s plenty to enjoy and learn. Overall, Oceanogràfic offers a wonderful mix of entertainment and education, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a memorable day out.

The architecture is amazing and is covered in nature. You can even see and hear parrots in the trees and it's beautiful. It's a brilliant place to walk around and explore but one thing which wasn't the best was the cost to go inside. I read other reviews and some people said how it isn't worth paying the money to go inside and I can agree with them. If you want to, your more than welcome to pay the money to go inside but I wouldn't. Overall, amazing place to go and there's a bus which goes right up to the museum which was very helpful.
We visited the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia today (October), and it was a wonderful experience even without going inside the buildings. The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot, and there were fewer people around, which made it peaceful to stroll through and take photos. The modern architecture is stunning, and the reflections on the water create a beautiful, almost futuristic atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting, even just to enjoy the walk and the views.

The City of Arts and Sciences is a futuristic destination in Valencia, well worth a visit. It's a large area encompassing many buildings, of which the oceanarium is, in my opinion, the most beautiful and highly recommended. Even without tickets, it's still worth seeing the buildings from the outside, although you should be careful with the sun as the main promenades are uncovered. However, there's a garden and a park along the entire length, so I recommend exploring those paths.

We did the whole Combination, Museum, Cinema and the Oceanographic Park! Booked a combined ticket in advance which I would recommend! The Museum is a must for every person that’s interested in science/ the human body!
We are two medstudents and we loved it but it’s definitely something children would love as well! The Movie is just an experience for the eyes, the big round screen is unique and therefore very interesting!
The Seaanimals are very nice to watch. However, might be the case that they have multiple certifications but to have beluga whales in an Aquarium and Dolphines for a show, even if it isn’t as disciplined as some other shows, isn’t really acceptable. We on purpose didn’t go to the show and we read afterwards some articles which stated the show is very dolphins friendly and the circumstances are far from shows at Seaworld etc. but we heard the crowd from far and Dolphines are very intelligent and sensitive animals which is why that’s not acceptable. Just because they don’t treat the Dolphines as cruel as others, doesn’t mean it’s not cruel.
And to keep them and even bigger animals, belugas, in a tank of water when normally they would wander thousands of miles in the ocean just makes me very sad.
And I am aware, that they also support the ecosystem sea in a way but I would like to see at least no Dolphines and Whales in Tanks way to small for their needs.
We won’t be coming back, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend anyone going there. The only case I would go back is probably with kids, for educational purposes.
However, still 3 Stars for the Cinema and the Museum.

Great park! However facilitéis could be improved as there was a bathroom with no toilet paper or soap. There are multiple lanes across the park for different foot traffic and excellent bike paths. It is perfect for a run, walk, workout or cycle!

A long stretch of Greenland that stretches miles around the edge of old city wall of Valencia that once was a river. Now well preserved green space providing several playing fields, cycle and running track, public path and various other outdoor activities areas.
However public toilets are in a bad shape, dirty with no running water to was hands but the building well made and covered!

100% worth visiting. This market is incredible. The building itself beautiful, but just to walk up and find every aisle immersing yourself in local fresh produce is a real experience. It does not feel too touristy in my opinion as you are surrounded by locals doing their daily shop. It does get busy, so go early (maybe that’s why I didn’t find it too touristy) - I loved popping by here daily

Bioparc Valencia is a unique zoo that houses nearly a thousand animals from 150 different African species. This is by far the best zoo I’ve visited in a long time! The viewing experience is excellent. Every animal can be seen clearly from multiple angles, and the enclosures are beautifully designed. One small improvement would be to include more animals and represent more regions. Overall, an amazing experience!

One of the nicest zoos we ever visited. Even though it might look small, we spent great day there. Great variety of animals, the hippo feeding was amazing to see. The animals seem happy and very well cared for. In comparison with other zoos is this one alot of them share the space (like giraffes, ostriches, goats, birds) which gives a much more natural feeling, no cages, no minuscule enclosures.
We were just in time for the "Circle of life" show where birds were flying around the arena which was very cool.

Amazing bioparc! Spent a day here while traveling in Valencia and so glad i did. Wonderfully laid out, not too busy, and great keeper talks given in spanish, catalan and english in the different areas of the park. Enjoyed the lunch meal deal in the cafeteria as well, great traditional paella for the cost.
Fantastic experience for everyone who want to enjoy a day (takes more than a couple of hours for a decent tour) with animals. I like that it's not you classic (and sad) Zoo, here animals have a good amount of space and are nourished and looked after. There is great variety and there are multiple places where you can rest and relax.
The ticket price is not cheap, but it's something you can expect to keep those animals in the best possible conditions.
I'm thrilled with this biopark! The animals are cage-free, in conditions that are close to real life. There are waterfalls, ponds, lots of trees and grass, and rock formations. The animals are clean, well-fed, and look healthy and calm. The animals live as if on islands that you can walk around on all sides. I've never seen anything like this with the opportunity to see wild animals so close. Any zoo is still captivity, but this the best that can be in such conditions. The staff is friendly and professional, and there are tours available. I was especially impressed by the area with the lemurs, who just run around next to you, without cages. Elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, a leopard, turtles, monkeys, many large and small animals, and birds. We wish the biopark prosperity and healthy visitors.
So much fun! Only £25 each for adults. Purchased online the day before and didn’t have to line up like the rest. Able to just walk in. The enclosures were so nicely done, clean and the animals appeared well looked after. Would recommend the hippo feeding which is free to watch. The bird show is something I wouldn’t rave about and if you’re short on time give it a miss. Otherwise so fun. They have an open enclosure where the lemurs reside.
Very interesting walk-through zoo. Quite easy to reach by bus. Can easily spend a good three quarters of a day walking through and having fun with family. In order to enter it is recommended that you buy the tickets online before, otherwise you will end up waiting for half an hour to three quarters of an hour. The issue was not the long queue as much as disorganisation by the personnel selling / scanning tickets. They could have done a lot more and faster if they opened one or two more selling stations and organised the queues a bit more (people were skipping queue and it was not nice!).
Zoo is recommended for families of all ages but especially for children. If you go do not miss the AR underwater experience. It is a must for circa Euro 5 (each person). Quite original and good.
The only downside was the buying of slushy drinks from the park (actaully from all over Valencia!). You had to buy a refillable cup. Whilst I understand this option to reduce plastic waste, the probability is that you cannot keep on going around Valencia with the cup to refill each time and this custom of selling slushy with cup seems to be all over the city. So you either buy a cup each time (which is not environmentally and financially friendly) or opt for another drink. The rest was all positive and very recommended. The souvenir shop was ok but could do with a good upgrade of original products to sell.

Great find! We couldn’t buy tickets online directly as they were sold out for weeks. I really wanted to go so we nearly paid €50+ euro’s per head but we didn’t need transfers as we had a rental car and was also travelling on from Valencia to Barcelona. In the end we was late leaving the Vila so didn’t book the excursion tour. We decided to go and see if we could get tickets in person. We were very lucky as got the last 4 tickets for the day. (It was around 12.45.pm) we went and had a nice slow lunch then went and got an icecream. We then had a look around the tourist shops and drove to the top of the mountain to check out the views. Then it was time to go back and go in the caves. They were fantastic. I would have loved to of been able to take more pictures though. Guide didn’t speak lots of English but she tried. Majority was only in Spanish. Didn’t help that when she did speak in English there was another family that was so loud you couldn’t tell what the lovely guide was saying. Facilities; lots of nice restaurants and food, clean toilets small kids play park. Shops and market stalls.

Booked online and had a great time! Free parking available, and some are even covered. There are some bathrooms right next to the parking lot. On the way to the cove entrance, you’ll pass many stores, restaurants, snacks, so plenty of options to eat/shop. The tour itself was about 50 minutes. First part is a short boat ride for about 10-15 minutes, then you get off and walk a bit thru the cave for another 10-15 minutes, and then get on the same boat for the last part back. You can only take photos/videos towards the end, for about 5-10 minutes. The guide who is rowing the boat will let you know when you can use your phones. Water is mostly clear and shallow (1-2 meters deep). There are a few sections where the water goes deeper (around 11 meters) but the boat doesn’t pass on top of it. You do share the boat with other random people. Overall it was fun but mostly relaxing and uneventful. Wouldn’t do it a second time!

Tickets can be purchased on site, tours start frequently, there are a lot of guides.
The water inside the cave was very clear, the tour starts off with a 5-10 minute boat ride in the caves, continues with 10 minute walk, and ends with another boat ride.
The boats had one tour guide each, and could fit about 10-14 people. The guide was in the back and pushed the boat forward like a Gondola, with a long wood.
The only downside was that the guide spoke very little English.
There is plenty of free parking outside.
This was so much fun! You are allowed to take pictures but only when permitted at one point in the boat trip. I would've liked to spend more time in the boat just checking out the caves but you are moved through the cave waters by a guide. In an area filled with ancient ruins and such old history, it's crazy to think they just found these caves in the middle of the 20th century. They were truly explored only in the 1960s. They still don't know how big it is, where it starts, and where it ends. Worth the hour's trip from Valencia to visit.
We went with Valencia&Go and the experience was smooth and amazing. The boat guide was a character! Overall it was super fun, very little waiting times and the area surrounding it is also very pretty. I warmly recommend to go
The Caves of Saint Josep, I came here with a large group from our cruise ship for the day, we had a timed entry into the San Jose Caves. Each boat holds about 12 people and we went slowly through the water while the guide pointed out various formations. There was a short walkway too, in the middle of the tour. This is said to be "Europe's longest navigable underground river", which is the unique reason I took the tour! It was quite enjoyable and I can recommend it.
I came to #SanJoséCave because I was curious about the cave experience—those online videos looked super eye-catching, and hey, I’d never done it before. Figured it was time to tick it off the list. After a long bus ride, here’s how it went:
1️⃣ Not as stunning as expected—colors were pretty dull 2️⃣ Most of the tour felt rushed and not very photo-worthy 3️⃣ The journey was long and repetitive… got a bit boring 🥱 4️⃣ Some fellow boat passengers were seriously rude—taking sneaky photos and spinning around nonstop 🤬 5️⃣ Ticket price wasn’t cheap 🤑 6️⃣ Very few food options nearby ❌🥣 7️⃣ Tried to sit in their restaurant with my own snacks and got told off (even though the place was empty—guess we all know why the flies were the only customers 🪰)
Bottom line: There are plenty of other places around the world with way better value for your time and money 🌍📈

A beautiful coastal trail with stunning sea views all along the way. Perfect for walking, running or cycling, it connects Benicasim with Oropesa through nature and old railway tunnels. Peaceful, safe and well maintained, it's one of the best ways to enjoy the Mediterranean landscape and fresh air.
We tried this in June. Extremely hot, couldn’t finish the trail. This time we came out here the first week of April, slightly overcast but warm. We started around 14h, that’s when all the locals are finishing and heading to lunch. So there are less people at this time. Beautiful walk. Wish they had bicycles for rent close by. You share the path with cyclists. One side of the path is gravel the other is paved but not smooth enough. I didn’t see anyone with roller blades (patinas). There are 3 picnic benches at the beginning. There are places where you could go out on the rocks to get closer into the sea. I saw a bunch of people climbing the hill to go to the light house.
This is a beautiful traffic free cycle path and we had a lovely ride. Only bit we found difficult was going through the long tunnel which is very dark in some parts.

Beautiful 7/8k run along the coast!
Great for cycling or just walking, there are two lanes for each one, but the best part is the great view you get of the sea. There are also some "offroad"
trails that sometime lead to great picnic spots. Highly recommended for people who like being able to see a great view without too much physical activity.
Very nice track to cycle just beside the sea. The only negativ point is that it's only a short track. Hopefully it will be extended in the future. In summer the road can be quite crowded.

We went during a weekday in July, and the lines were already pretty long for some of the popular slides. We'd recommend the Black Hole slide on a double inner tube with a friend!
Also, they have really wonderful staff. One of us lost a silver chain necklace on one of the slides, and a life guard found it and brought it to the lost and found. We were totally surprised and grateful, thank you!

It was a lovely experience and definitely worth the drive from Valencia. The facility is clean and well-managed, with staff everywhere, attentive to details across all attractions. I felt very safe throughout the visit.
The entrance fee is reasonable given the level of entertainment and compared to similar venues in Europe. Food prices were also affordable for a tourist attraction, and while they allow visitors to bring their own food, as tourists we chose the restaurants and did not regret it. Parking is free—which is a nice surprise compared to many other European destinations!
I especially appreciated the locker system, which was convenient and fairly priced at €7 per day. The only area I’d recommend improving is the hygiene of the shower facilities.

We went on a very hot day and got the discounted tickets for the afternoon session. Long queues for some rides, others were fine.The place is clean, stuff is very good and careful about rules, the facilities are clean and well maintained.
So many slides and attractions for kids and adults. Our 7 &4 year old has a blast . The staff is very friendly and you can bring your own snacks in which helps with picky eaters. The facilities were nice and the lifeguards were very attentive. The only reason it’s not a 5 is because for some reason the minimum height signs are at different heights so my little one was able to ride some rides but others not. We still had a blast and if you go BRING SUNSCREEN and reapply because the sun hits hard here. They do have covered seating which you can rent for like 5€ whole day which was a nice to have. Also have lockers for rent and showers for after .
Nice action for the all family members. The security is very good, guides are securely monitoring all stations and make sure no one is crashing into another one. Entertainment teams also going around and entertaining people in the waiting lines. We will come a gain.
Aquarama Benicàssim is perfect for spending time with family! There are places to buy food and spots for a picnic. Plenty of fun activities, clean facilities, and a great atmosphere for all ages. Highly recommended for a family day out.
Aquarama is a very well-run and clean park, and the lifeguards do an excellent job of keeping everyone safe. However, it's a very expensive day out, made even more so by an extra €7 for a locker.
Visiting in August means it's ridiculously busy, and the queue times are unreal. Even after spending the entire day there, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., we couldn't get on even half the rides. For example, we got in the queue for the Wow Slide right after the park opened and still had to wait for an hour.
The food was also a letdown. We had to wait 30 minutes for the kids' 'pirate' menu, and it wasn't great.
Overall, the park is a lovely place. If you're not bothered about doing all the rides and are happy to just enjoy the pools, then a visit in August is fine. Otherwise, I would recommend avoiding it during this time.
Really nice experience, good variety of slides, although some have a substantial queue. The only thing, if you don't have acar and are getting there by train, there's no comfortable way to get to the park from the railway station. It's just 20 minutes walk, but you 'll have to walk by the side of the highway at some point. Otherwise lovely experience

Peniscola Spain is the beautiful setting for this Castle jewel. It costs 5 euro to tour the Castle and Garden, each. Shoes or sandals with good traction will serve you well as the walk up to the Castle is on very smooth and worn stone steps, walk ways and streets, and dont forget you still have the walk down. This castle is amazing to see in person and has a long and interesting past. Must Visit!

This is the Spanish Mont Saint Michel, it is really nice to see and I believe unique in Spain. This Castle sits on the see and looks great from afar. In the town itself you can see a few narrow streets a few restaurants.
We enjoyed wandering around here, and can only highly recommend visiting!

Knights Template etc. interesting old town with good photo opportunities. €3.50 entrance to the castle for young and concessions such as over 60, a bit upset they didn't query our age.,€5 for normal entry. Perched atop the town of Morella, Castell de Morella is an ancient fortress with a rich history dating back to the 3rd millennium BC. The large Moorish castle, built in the 13th century on earlier Iberian and Roman foundations, offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. Visitors can explore its steep roads, medieval streets, churches, and walls before hiking up to admire its well-preserved walls and terraces.
We walked up to the castle which was quite a trek, zigzagging up the hill. Once we got past the metal bridge after the modern bull ring I walked along to the left to see the statue of Ramon Cabrera, a guerilla leader in one of the Spanish succession wars and views over the ruined convent of St Francis. Access to the castle from there was blocked so I walked all the way back and carried on up the hill to the main gate. This had obviously been repaired recently but if an attacker even go that far I'd be impressed. The area before the summit contained the governors palace (now housing an exhibition of the town's history) and various admin, storage and living rooms and a prison. The 19th century improvements were very visible with extra walls and batteries due to the capabilities of modern canon, two of which were added to the castle in the 1950s. The top of hill was very windswept and had lots of rooms with information boards but in Spanish only. The views, as you can image, were just fantastic with the lower fortifications, the city walls, the medieval aquaduct and the wider Valencian countryside all layed out.

It seems like a very big hill to climb to the top of the castle but it's not too bad, for someone like me who hates hills. Amazing views and information plaquards around, €3.50 entrance fee.
It's a little town on the hill, with an ancient church building, though small it's very unique worth to explore even though you may have seen many. The castle on the top is a ruine, ancient but nothing much to see. The streets in the middle of the hill are just like any other Spanish town.

If visiting Miravet definitely worthwhile the visit. Most of it is in ruins but still a interesting visit and definitely worth the € 5,- entrance. The walk up is fantastic and very scenic but heavy uphill if one not in good shape or difficulties in walking.
Wonderful views, odd parking guide. There was a guy in the middle of the road denying access with a car saying it's only 12 mins walk (is not). It's a steep hike to the top and there is quite a big parking place next to the castle anyway. We returned later and went with a car which was the better choice to be able to enjoy the castle too.
The castle is under renovations so entrance was only 3 euros because not all places were open.
Wow, Miravet Castle is like stepping into a medieval saga perched above the Ebro River! The views from the ramparts are absolutely jaw-dropping think endless rolling hills and the river winding like a silver ribbon below. I paid €5 for the ticket (totally worth it, students get it for €2!), and the climb up the tribute tower’s spiral staircase had my heart racing not just from the effort but those epic panoramas at the top. Insider tip: wear comfy shoes, the cobblestone path from the village is steep and slippery in spots. Oh, and did you know this Templar fortress was once a Moorish stronghold before the Knights transformed it in the 12th century? Save time for the pottery shops in Miravet’s old town they’re a hidden gem!

I loved this town! We drove to the castle, which was nice but not as nice as others in the area. But, the views were incredible! I loved the river going through the town. Our friends drove the car back down, and I went took the easy walking path through the trees. I wouldn't have wanted to walk up it, but down was easy. It empties into the town, and walked down through small streets to the river. The cute mouse house had to be noted! I hear you can kayak in the river but the current looked VERY strong, so I'm not sure it's something I'm able to do. People were swimming close to the shore though. There's a small cafe where you can eat, too. Certainly come check it out!
Highly ridiculous. I knew that prices had risen due to inflation, but the price to enter this castle is a crime. If you are a history lover and you like to see empty castles with only stone, this is an ideal place for you. I expected there to be materials typical of the century in which construction began. Honestly, in my opinion, it's not worth it. The views are not that pretty (although I have to say that when I took the view the day was cloudy).
It only took us 20 minutes to see the entire castle.
The truth is, I don't understand the people who recommend visiting this place, if you know someone who recommends it, tell them that I pay a visit to the eye doctor, they really need it.
In my opinion, the town looks like the set of a low-budget zombie movie.

Not a bad castle/ruin but to pay 5 eur and can't even go to the top of the castle because it was closed, is too much. In general for 10 min you are done, so walking up the hill takes more time than to view the castle...There is WC for free and the staff was polite and English speaking. You can also go by car

Medieval Historic place...
Amazing, so much history in it. You can opt for a guided tour if you wish or just have a wonder and explore it yourself. With the ticket you have entry to the exposition/museum which is ver interesting. The actual place is really nice. Easy parking behind the castle.
As castles go it's fine, well signposted inside, little danger of falling off, detailed info in places ( but only in Spanish) some interesting paintings. Nothing special, though, unless you're a big fan of castles.
