Super nice island to spend the day, it definitely gets very packed in the main bay. It’s nice to have a stroll around and they have a few stores. I would not recommend using the bathrooms there though not clean at all.

Nice place to visit. On my perspective, not to stay overnight unless you have special activities to engage - the tourist tour can be covered in one day. No sandy beaches, round stone mainly. However, the water is clean, warm, and transparent. Bar / Restaurant offer is OK. Prices seemed a bit high. A small but nice art gallery may grab the visitor's attention.

Visiting Tabarca Island felt like finding a secret Mediterranean world. Only a few dozen residents live here, yet the seafood restaurants are incredible — fresh fish grilled by the sea, chilled white wine, and calm ocean breeze. It’s peaceful, photogenic, and perfect for anyone who wants real island life without the crowds. I’d come back just for the food and silence. 🌊✨

Such a beautiful island near our house. We rode a big boat from Santa Pola that costs us 10€ back and forth. There's a line of ticket booths in the port. They will give you a brochure to show the boat return times. It was a nice 25-minute ride. It can be super hot so don't forget to bring sun creams, hats and umbrella. We went around the island to see spots with few people because the main beach is packed. We ate at a nice restaurant with menu starting €18. Though we end up paying more than €100 for 4 persons. Costly like other islands. We didn't have a reservation but I suggest to have one as it can be full especially on weekends. There are small bars and restaurants and few stores for clothes and souvenirs. There's also an atm near the La Pecera. Also bring aqua shoes. Some beaches have stones and slippery. We will definitely go back.

Absolutely brilliant place to spend a couple of hours. It's free to access but if you want to use the lift it cost €2.70 (can only pay by card). A few refreshment areas within the castle selling drinks and ice cream. Well worth a visit!

You have the option to go up the castle via the side walk (not very hard but neither easy) or take the lift (you need a ticket). If you go up via the park you can go down without the need to buying a ticket - pretty convenient. The lift is the best option for a hot or rainy day, or with limited mobility.

When visiting Alicante, it is essential to set aside half a day to explore this castle, and all its history, which is rich and varied. You will have the opportunity for an incredibly beautiful view of the city and the sea. We recommend from the bottom of our hearts.

When I visited Alicante, I’m so glad I took the time to explore this castle, it was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. The history is so rich and interesting, and walking through the different areas really makes you feel connected to the past. The views from the top are absolutely stunning; seeing the whole city and the sea from up there felt amazing. I truly recommend setting aside at least half a day for it. From my heart, this is a place you don’t want to miss.

The elevator up to Castille de Santa Barbara is access from the beach side. Cross the road towards the castle and you will see the entrance. The cost of the elevator is only a few euros per person well worth the spend. Take the elevator up, then do yourself a favor, and walk down through the tiny Pueblo (village) Barrio de Santa Cruz.

Fantastic views across the city of Alicante. Get there just before sunset to watch it setting in the West. We visited for a Wine tasting session in the evening, very popular so need to book well in advance.

Extremely clean big bedroom with big bed, big tv and a big spa bath in the big bathroom. All staff were happy and helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was very good. Plenty for 4 courses if you're that way inclined! We didn't use the restaurant as we ate out but the bar and bar staff were good too. Excellent (yes) 'big' pool area adorned with lovely twinkling lights for the evening.

The only negative is the availability of parking resulting in circling the narrow streets of Elche several times. There is a large underground parking about 300 mtrs away but there is a hotel with the same name much closer that would b much closer

Amazing place. Definitely recommend to visit with children before 10-12 years. Beatiful shows. You can do pictures together with sea lion, dolphin, parrot, lemur. The park has beautiful territory and zoo. There are few restaurants on the park.

What a special place. So much fun! Negatives, its a little pricey, and they dont have a vast amount of animals. The pros, wow, the shows are phenomenal, especially the dolphin show. Amazing, just amazing. Yes its pricey, but honestly the shows itself make it worth it! Get over there. €20 cash or €17 (paid online) to touch a dolphin and have a photo (included) is such amazing value. You wont find better. So while its not a cheap day out, it's 100% worth it, and id go back again, and again.

Nice animal Park got discounted tickets so went with family. The dolphin and sea lion show were amazing definitely recommend going and seeing them. At the top. Is a great view of aqualandia which is right next door. Overall a good place to visit with family.

Pretty cool. We did combine tickets with Aqualandia. So we visited this place in the morning. We arrived about half past 10 which gave us time to look around and the watch the parrot show. Which was very informative. 2 of the parrots did not listen to the trainers and decided they were staying out just jumping on the rope. After that we headed to the sea lion show to watch some very happy sea lions and then the dolphin show, which has 8 dolphins doing tricks. The place is small so wouldn't recommend spending the whole day there as you can watch all the shows and see all the other animals in around 3 hours. Prices for photos with animals is around €20 euros I recommended paying for these before you enter the park.

In my opinion, Mundomar a bit too pricey, compared to Oceanografic in Valencia. However, dolphins did an amazing job performing, the instructors are great. Stunning view from the top! I liked it

It was a good day plenty to see and great shows.But don't bother with getting the VIP TOUR as you are unable to take Photos as they block you and say only me.The photographer was a bit rude and right in my face as I attempted to get a photo.

A great day was had by the whole family. The animals were amazing, well worth going to the shows, birds, sealion, and dolphin. There are other experiences which we didn't do this time. We purchased the combo ticket for mundomar and aqualandia, which was a good saving.

A brilliant day out for the whole family. We have two boys aged 6 and 7 and they both had an amazing time. We brought our own packed lunch after reading other reviews as the food in the park didn’t seem like the best option, and this turned out to be a smart decision as there are plenty of picnic areas available. We booked our tickets online which cost £109 for the four of us. On arrival, we rented a large locker for €10 (smaller ones are €7). They give you a PIN code printed on a receipt which is a bit odd, as it means you have to go into the water with a piece of paper to remember your code. It would make more sense if you could set your own code. We also paid for two sunbeds at €7 each and the inflatable ring floats came at an extra cost too. This felt like a bit of a rip off, as items like floats and sunbeds should really be included in the ticket price. This is the main reason we’ve given 4 stars instead of 5. That said, the park itself is spotless and very well maintained. The lifeguards, although quite young, did a fantastic job and we felt very safe letting the boys explore nearby. The children’s area is the best I’ve seen in any water park as it has a full section with obstacle courses, smaller slides and jumping platforms. We would definitely visit again for another family day out.

Great day out with the Grand kids here. Take your own drinks and food as the kiosk prices inside are a little hard on the wallet (€3.75) for a 1.5 ltr water that you can pick up for about 60 cents in the supermarket. €5.40 for a beer 🍺. Apart from that, it's a lovely park that kept the boys busy all day.

We visited on a Friday in August so was very busy as expected. However we found the park to be clean, well organised and we all had great fun, dragging the kids away after about 7 hours. Queues for some slides were 15-20 mins but plenty of shade and well mannered. Didn’t attempt to get a sun bed or picnic bench (which looked like you needed to be there early to get) - just sat on a towel on the grass which was fine. Lifeguards very professional and kept good order.

It was too crowded for me, even though we visited on a Wednesday. However, the kids had a lot of fun, which is the most important thing! We will come back! Food was available at affordable prices. What surprised me was that the lockers and lounges required payment.

Aqualandia in Benidorm is a great place and an absolute hit with kids—plenty of rides, pools, and attractions to keep the whole family entertained. The park is clean and well maintained, and overall it’s a fun experience for both children and adults. That said, the downside in high season is the waiting times. Some rides had queues of up to 90 minutes, which meant that even though we spent the whole day there, we couldn’t try everything we wanted. On-site food is also very expensive—for example, a gofre with just one scoop of ice cream was over €7. Security lockers cost €7, and hiring a large inflatable wheel is €8 plus a €2 deposit (though this does give you an advantage on Rapidos, where you can skip the queue). Overall, it’s still a great experience and the kids loved it, but the long waiting times and high prices take away from what could otherwise be a perfect day out.

Levante beach was simply beautiful. It is well maintained, clean and safe. Sunbeds can be rented for only 6 euro for the day. Excellent place to relax.

Lovely beach but very busy. Chairs and umbrellas €6 each, you just sit down and someone comes round to pay. Close to shops you have people walking up and down selling cocktails and offering massages. A place with taps to wash the sand off your feet. A warning women do walk around and lounge top less if this offends anyone.

What wonderful days we had at the beach, strolling through its streets, trying out restaurants, watching the sunrise, or walking at night while enjoying the nightlife. We’d wake up early to enjoy the sea and walk along the sand. Each day was unique and amazing! Creating human connections, observing and learning about their lifestyle and culture made the experience even more enriching.

Old Town benidorm is a absolute gem , loads of shops bars and cafes it's more cultured than new benidorm and old town is more traditional, its definitely worth exploring plus there are two beaches a small cove beach and the large beach and the harbour

Castell de Cullera is a great place to visit, both for its history and for the amazing views of the city and the sea. Driving up, you’ll already find some nice spots to stop for photos, and at the top you get a full 360° panoramic view. Parking is limited, so it can take some time to find a spot. There are public restrooms available for free, which is very convenient. Once you park, you’ll see the option to take a small elevator for €1. Honestly, unless you have accessibility needs, it’s not worth it—the elevator only covers a very short section of stairs, which you can walk in 3–4 minutes without any problem. Even if you don’t go inside the castle or arrive after closing time, it’s still worth going up for the views and to enjoy the surroundings. Amazing views of the local city and landscape, the castle is only small but very beautiful and well worth a visit to learn about its history and to take in its architecture. It’s very impressive at the building work to get it there and how formidable it would have been in its day. If you like history, views and architecture then you should absolutely go and visit Parking was fine and there were public WC. Unfortunately the church which is attached was not open on the day we went (Monday) so didn’t get to see inside which is a shame, the cafe also was not open. There is a weird tiny funicular rail which cost €1 PP you definitely don’t need it but the kids enjoyed it

Lovely place with an exceptional view and a good bit of history. Towering above the town of Cullera, this little castle provides incredible views of the area. It's not very big as it used to be a military fort rather than a typical castle. There's also a nearby hiking trail going around the mountain. While there is some information in English, the inside of the castle itself gives information almost exclusively in Valencian and Spanish, though for those interested it's relatively easy to just translate it.

We were able to grab the last parking space at the top of the hill and luckily there was a mini funicular to take Deb the final distance to the castle entrance. Admission was €3 but it is a small castle so we probably spent less than 30 minutes inside, including watching the 12 minute information film (English subtitles). The interior was unadorned and the battlements were small but with nice views of the coast and the rice fields. We had an ice cream and a coffee at the cafe terrace and then I walked down the steps to view the castle from below and then down a small path to view the octagonal tower and segments of the town wall, built during the Islamic period. The castle itself has an Islamic base and was then updated and expanded after the Christian reconquest in the 13th century. It's next expansion was in the 16th century after Muslim pirates sacked the town and carried the population off into slavery.

I only explored the castle from the outside, but even from there, the views over Cullera were absolutely breathtaking. The landscape alone makes the visit worthwhile.

Sadly it was closed by the time we got there, but we were still able to walk the grounds, which is a lovely walk with some hiking areas if desired. Nice place, huge effort from the team. Great selection of animals etc. Awesome aquariums. The one from Tenerife is the leader, in my opinion. The food inside quality should be improved. The value for money is disappointing. Dishes hot in the exterior and almost frozen in the middle. The security staff should help the clients; in our case, they had long personal discussions, ignoring the visitors.

The L'Oceanogràfic is one of Valencia's biggest attractions, a true showcase. The ticket price seemed high for our budget, but after entering and seeing these wonders, I realized it was a bargain. The animals look well-cared for and have plenty of space. The dolphin arena is a real gem. I felt the dolphins were happy; you could see their bond with their trainers, and the instructor focused on educating people about these magnificent animals and their health. Initially, I thought the area was small and would be a quick tour, but it turned out that the coolest aquariums and trails are underground, pleasantly cool (good for hot weather). It was amazing to see the belugas and underwater passages with sharks and other creatures overhead, within arm's reach. I felt the magic of this place the entire time, like a child. The photos capture it perfectly! You can buy a combined ticket to the facilities in the city of science, but THIS is a gem and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I liked the marine animals, beautiful buildings with modern architecture. Arrows on the floor were useful to help you follow a predefined route, to easily go through all the dark rooms with aquariums. I liked the call for everyone to get involved and make changes for a better planet. The dolphin show was a bit boring, a few jumps, swimming with 2 employees and that's it. I've seen better shows at dolphinariums. If you want a good seat go there with many minutes before the show.

This place was awesome. Lots of fish. We even saw whales a crocodile penguins. Jellyfish and lots of other animals and exciting things to see. I would definitely go again as you couldn’t see from the photos there is a lot to see and a lot to do it does cost. It cost us €38 per person. I don’t know what that will be for people looking at this in a few years time. But you can spend three or four hours in there easy And if you come with children, there is plenty of things for them to jump a boat undo ice cream shops. There’s a restaurant in there. There is play areas for kids as well.

Went with the vision this would probably rate as a childrens zoo. Not at all it was amazing. Such a different perspective of the sea creatures which interacted with you as you passed along underwater tunnels. Clean, good food, exceptional staff and most of all the most hilarious penguins I've ever met. Prepare to be intrigued, delighted and entertained.

Out of all the exhibits, the dolphins and sea lions were definitely the highlights of my visit. Watching the dolphins was truly unforgettable — they were energetic, playful, and clearly well-cared for, and their interactions with the trainers made the experience both educational and entertaining. The sea lions were equally captivating, with their curious personalities and lively behaviour. I could have spent hours watching them glide through the water and interact with each other. The whole place feels very immersive, and the layout allows you to get close to the animals without feeling crowded or rushed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well-maintained and clean, from the walkways to the viewing areas. Whether you’re visiting as a family, a couple, or even on your own, there’s plenty to enjoy and learn. Overall, Oceanogràfic offers a wonderful mix of entertainment and education, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a memorable day out.

The architecture is amazing and is covered in nature. You can even see and hear parrots in the trees and it's beautiful. It's a brilliant place to walk around and explore but one thing which wasn't the best was the cost to go inside. I read other reviews and some people said how it isn't worth paying the money to go inside and I can agree with them. If you want to, your more than welcome to pay the money to go inside but I wouldn't. Overall, amazing place to go and there's a bus which goes right up to the museum which was very helpful.

We visited the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia today (October), and it was a wonderful experience even without going inside the buildings. The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot, and there were fewer people around, which made it peaceful to stroll through and take photos. The modern architecture is stunning, and the reflections on the water create a beautiful, almost futuristic atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting, even just to enjoy the walk and the views.

The City of Arts and Sciences is a futuristic destination in Valencia, well worth a visit. It's a large area encompassing many buildings, of which the oceanarium is, in my opinion, the most beautiful and highly recommended. Even without tickets, it's still worth seeing the buildings from the outside, although you should be careful with the sun as the main promenades are uncovered. However, there's a garden and a park along the entire length, so I recommend exploring those paths.

We did the whole Combination, Museum, Cinema and the Oceanographic Park! Booked a combined ticket in advance which I would recommend! The Museum is a must for every person that’s interested in science/ the human body! We are two medstudents and we loved it but it’s definitely something children would love as well! The Movie is just an experience for the eyes, the big round screen is unique and therefore very interesting! The Seaanimals are very nice to watch. However, might be the case that they have multiple certifications but to have beluga whales in an Aquarium and Dolphines for a show, even if it isn’t as disciplined as some other shows, isn’t really acceptable. We on purpose didn’t go to the show and we read afterwards some articles which stated the show is very dolphins friendly and the circumstances are far from shows at Seaworld etc. but we heard the crowd from far and Dolphines are very intelligent and sensitive animals which is why that’s not acceptable. Just because they don’t treat the Dolphines as cruel as others, doesn’t mean it’s not cruel. And to keep them and even bigger animals, belugas, in a tank of water when normally they would wander thousands of miles in the ocean just makes me very sad. And I am aware, that they also support the ecosystem sea in a way but I would like to see at least no Dolphines and Whales in Tanks way to small for their needs. We won’t be coming back, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend anyone going there. The only case I would go back is probably with kids, for educational purposes. However, still 3 Stars for the Cinema and the Museum.

So much food to discover and eat. Wine, croquettes, empanadas, sandwiches, paellas but also a lot of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. It is a delight to walk around and immersive yourself of what this foodhall has to offer.

Unfortunately there isn't any place to sit down and eat, but that's part of the experience I guess. A definite must see on your trip to València. The Central Market in Valencia is absolutely incredible. The building itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and a vibrant, bustling atmosphere. Inside, the variety is endless fresh produce, spices, cheeses, baked goods, and so much more. It’s a feast for the senses, with colors, aromas, and flavors everywhere you turn. 100% worth visiting. This market is incredible. The building itself beautiful, but just to walk up and find every aisle immersing yourself in local fresh produce is a real experience. It does not feel too touristy in my opinion as you are surrounded by locals doing their daily shop. It does get busy, so go early (maybe that’s why I didn’t find it too touristy) - I loved popping by here daily

I really enjoyed visiting this zoo! The place is huge and very well kept, with an amazing variety of animals — including some really rare and beautiful species. You can tell the animals are well cared for, and the enclosures are clean and spacious. The only downside is the ticket price — it’s a bit expensive, especially for families. But overall, it’s a great place to spend a few hours, relax, and see lots of incredible animals. Definitely worth visiting!

One of the nicest zoos we ever visited. Even though it might look small, we spent great day there. Great variety of animals, the hippo feeding was amazing to see. The animals seem happy and very well cared for. In comparison with other zoos is this one alot of them share the space (like giraffes, ostriches, goats, birds) which gives a much more natural feeling, no cages, no minuscule enclosures. We were just in time for the "Circle of life" show where birds were flying around the arena which was very cool. Only downside was that some people were smoking even if its prohibited Even the restaurant has an amazing view to the animal enclosures. Overall great experience, even though a bit pricey it's definitely worth.

Amazing bioparc! Spent a day here while traveling in Valencia and so glad i did. Wonderfully laid out, not too busy, and great keeper talks given in spanish, catalan and english in the different areas of the park. Enjoyed the lunch meal deal in the cafeteria as well, great traditional paella for the cost.

Fantastic experience for everyone who want to enjoy a day (takes more than a couple of hours for a decent tour) with animals. I like that it's not you classic (and sad) Zoo, here animals have a good amount of space and are nourished and looked after. There is great variety and there are multiple places where you can rest and relax. The ticket price is not cheap, but it's something you can expect to keep those animals in the best possible conditions.

I'm thrilled with this biopark! The animals are cage-free, in conditions that are close to real life. There are waterfalls, ponds, lots of trees and grass, and rock formations. The animals are clean, well-fed, and look healthy and calm. The animals live as if on islands that you can walk around on all sides. I've never seen anything like this with the opportunity to see wild animals so close. Any zoo is still captivity, but this the best that can be in such conditions. The staff is friendly and professional, and there are tours available. I was especially impressed by the area with the lemurs, who just run around next to you, without cages. Elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, a leopard, turtles, monkeys, many large and small animals, and birds. We wish the biopark prosperity and healthy visitors.

So much fun! Only £25 each for adults. Purchased online the day before and didn’t have to line up like the rest. Able to just walk in. The enclosures were so nicely done, clean and the animals appeared well looked after. Would recommend the hippo feeding which is free to watch. The bird show is something I wouldn’t rave about and if you’re short on time give it a miss. Otherwise so fun. They have an open enclosure where the lemurs reside.

Very interesting walk-through zoo. Quite easy to reach by bus. Can easily spend a good three quarters of a day walking through and having fun with family. In order to enter it is recommended that you buy the tickets online before, otherwise you will end up waiting for half an hour to three quarters of an hour. The issue was not the long queue as much as disorganisation by the personnel selling / scanning tickets. They could have done a lot more and faster if they opened one or two more selling stations and organised the queues a bit more (people were skipping queue and it was not nice!). Zoo is recommended for families of all ages but especially for children. If you go do not miss the AR underwater experience. It is a must for circa Euro 5 (each person). Quite original and good. The only downside was the buying of slushy drinks from the park (actaully from all over Valencia!). You had to buy a refillable cup. Whilst I understand this option to reduce plastic waste, the probability is that you cannot keep on going around Valencia with the cup to refill each time and this custom of selling slushy with cup seems to be all over the city. So you either buy a cup each time (which is not environmentally and financially friendly) or opt for another drink. The rest was all positive and very recommended. The souvenir shop was ok but could do with a good upgrade of original products to sell.

Booked online and had a great time! Free parking available, and some are even covered. There are some bathrooms right next to the parking lot. On the way to the cove entrance, you’ll pass many stores, restaurants, snacks, so plenty of options to eat/shop. The tour itself was about 50 minutes. First part is a short boat ride for about 10-15 minutes, then you get off and walk a bit thru the cave for another 10-15 minutes, and then get on the same boat for the last part back. You can only take photos/videos towards the end, for about 5-10 minutes. The guide who is rowing the boat will let you know when you can use your phones. Water is mostly clear and shallow (1-2 meters deep). There are a few sections where the water goes deeper (around 11 meters) but the boat doesn’t pass on top of it. You do share the boat with other random people. Overall it was fun but mostly relaxing and uneventful. Wouldn’t do it a second time!

Well managed site and surrounding, a very unique experience. There are multiple restautants and gift shops around as well. Tickets can be purchased on site, tours start frequently, there are a lot of guides. The water inside the cave was very clear, the tour starts off with a 5-10 minute boat ride in the caves, continues with 10 minute walk, and ends with another boat ride. The boats had one tour guide each, and could fit about 10-14 people. The guide was in the back and pushed the boat forward like a Gondola, with a long wood. The only downside was that the guide spoke very little English. There is plenty of free parking outside.

This was so much fun! You are allowed to take pictures but only when permitted at one point in the boat trip. I would've liked to spend more time in the boat just checking out the caves but you are moved through the cave waters by a guide. In an area filled with ancient ruins and such old history, it's crazy to think they just found these caves in the middle of the 20th century. They were truly explored only in the 1960s. They still don't know how big it is, where it starts, and where it ends. Worth the hour's trip from Valencia to visit.

The Caves of Saint Josep, I came here with a large group from our cruise ship for the day, we had a timed entry into the San Jose Caves. Each boat holds about 12 people and we went slowly through the water while the guide pointed out various formations. There was a short walkway too, in the middle of the tour. This is said to be "Europe's longest navigable underground river", which is the unique reason I took the tour! It was quite enjoyable and I can recommend it.

I came to #SanJoséCave because I was curious about the cave experience—those online videos looked super eye-catching, and hey, I’d never done it before. Figured it was time to tick it off the list. A beautiful coastal trail with stunning sea views all along the way. Perfect for walking, running or cycling, it connects Benicasim with Oropesa through nature and old railway tunnels. Peaceful, safe and well maintained, it's one of the best ways to enjoy the Mediterranean landscape and fresh air.

We tried this in June. Extremely hot, couldn’t finish the trail. This time we came out here the first week of April, slightly overcast but warm. We started around 14h, that’s when all the locals are finishing and heading to lunch. So there are less people at this time. Beautiful walk. Wish they had bicycles for rent close by. You share the path with cyclists. One side of the path is gravel the other is paved but not smooth enough. I didn’t see anyone with roller blades (patinas). There are 3 picnic benches at the beginning. There are places where you could go out on the rocks to get closer into the sea. I saw a bunch of people climbing the hill to go to the light house.

This is a beautiful traffic free cycle path and we had a lovely ride. Only bit we found difficult was going through the long tunnel which is very dark in some parts.

Beautiful 7/8k run along the coast!

Great for cycling or just walking, there are two lanes for each one, but the best part is the great view you get of the sea. There are also some "offroad" trails that sometime lead to great picnic spots. Highly recommended for people who like being able to see a great view without too much physical activity.

Very nice track to cycle just beside the sea. The only negativ point is that it's only a short track. Hopefully it will be extended in the future. In summer the road can be quite crowded.

It was a lovely experience and definitely worth the drive from Valencia. The facility is clean and well-managed, with staff everywhere, attentive to details across all attractions. I felt very safe throughout the visit. The entrance fee is reasonable given the level of entertainment and compared to similar venues in Europe. Food prices were also affordable for a tourist attraction, and while they allow visitors to bring their own food, as tourists we chose the restaurants and did not regret it. Parking is free—which is a nice surprise compared to many other European destinations! I especially appreciated the locker system, which was convenient and fairly priced at €7 per day. The only area I’d recommend improving is the hygiene of the shower facilities. Overall, highly recommended!

We went on a very hot day and got the discounted tickets for the afternoon session. Long queues for some rides, others were fine.The place is clean, stuff is very good and careful about rules, the facilities are clean and well maintained.

So many slides and attractions for kids and adults. Our 7 &4 year old has a blast . The staff is very friendly and you can bring your own snacks in which helps with picky eaters. The facilities were nice and the lifeguards were very attentive. The only reason it’s not a 5 is because for some reason the minimum height signs are at different heights so my little one was able to ride some rides but others not. We still had a blast and if you go BRING SUNSCREEN and reapply because the sun hits hard here. They do have covered seating which you can rent for like 5€ whole day which was a nice to have. Also have lockers for rent and showers for after .

Nice action for the all family members. The security is very good, guides are securely monitoring all stations and make sure no one is crashing into another one. Entertainment teams also going around and entertaining people in the waiting lines. We will come a gain.

Aquarama Benicàssim is perfect for spending time with family! There are places to buy food and spots for a picnic. Plenty of fun activities, clean facilities, and a great atmosphere for all ages. Highly recommended for a family day out.

Aquarama is a very well-run and clean park, and the lifeguards do an excellent job of keeping everyone safe. However, it's a very expensive day out, made even more so by an extra €7 for a locker. ​Visiting in August means it's ridiculously busy, and the queue times are unreal. Even after spending the entire day there, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., we couldn't get on even half the rides. For example, we got in the queue for the Wow Slide right after the park opened and still had to wait for an hour. ​The food was also a letdown. We had to wait 30 minutes for the kids' 'pirate' menu, and it wasn't great. ​Overall, the park is a lovely place. If you're not bothered about doing all the rides and are happy to just enjoy the pools, then a visit in August is fine. Otherwise, I would recommend avoiding it during this time.

It's a little town on the hill, with an ancient church building, though small it's very unique worth to explore even though you may have seen many. The castle on the top is a ruine, ancient but nothing much to see. The streets in the middle of the hill are just like any other Spanish town.

It's ok not amazing. The food is rubbish. it's quite small and you can see everything in 3 hours . It's not a complete waste of time and money although 90 something Euro's for 2 adults and a child seems a bit steep on reflection. Well the kids liked it and thats why we went. But it's very expensive for what you get. The shows are kind of disappointing I think they could do so much more. The technology is 20 years old. Hopefully they can update things a bit it could have been so much more exciting for the kids

Thought it would be a fun natural history thing for the kids. Turns out it's mostly waiting in line for 4D shows, and a play area. The first show they sent everyone away because it was broken down, and the paleontology hall was closed. We were on a tight schedule and couldn't wait hours for the 'rides', so €126 for a play pen? I demanded my money back. First time I EVER did that.

This place is great for young families. the ticket price includes all areas of the park. Everything except the museum is geared towards kids so tickets can be expensive but it's still good to visit at least one time.

What a complete rip-off. €28 per adult and €22 per CHILD! For nothing more than a few fibreglass statues of dinosaurs, a really badly acted T-Rex drama and run-around treehouse that's limited to kids aged +9. And don't go there hungry. The food is absolutely terrible. The salmon (fish of the day) was frozen and had the texture of my granny's old boots, the carrots we're tinned and boiled until every last vitamin had disappeared and the potatoes would have found better used in a jar of baby food. They we're mush. The only thing worth eating was the roasted chicken. You'd get better value for money and more educationally by renting Jurassic Park on Netflix and ordering in a pizza!

A beautiful castle in a beautiful location! Loved looking round it, definitely worth visiting! There is a souvenir shop with public toilets just before going in the castle with a place that serves food. We had some tapas and they we're lovely! There is plenty of parking outside too.

The guided tour was fantastic, and the guide was outstanding! As it wasn't raining, the visit was very pleasant. Although I understand, the inside castle is very poor, only cold empty rooms, no decoration, simulation of how once it was, or art is found there. Very beautiful views and rich in history.

We decided to take a slight detour to see this Monastery and boy it didn't disappoint! Increadible views as we drove up, had to stop a couple of times to take it in. We had a lovely warm and clear day so got some nice pictures with the drone as well. We had a nice gentle walk round, lots of things to look at and read. Couldn't help but feel that some of the site has lost its authenticity due to the rather significant restoration and preservative measures that have been done since its renovation. Still highly recommend though.

So glad we went the drive up is incredible the views are just breathtaking. The new monastery looks very it of place but that's only because you pass the outside of the old first. Both are incredible buildings with such history attached to them. We purchased the book and took the audio guide round which made the experience better.

Buy a ticket at the more modern monestary before driving further down to the older site as they don't sell them there. It is well worth a visit! Gorgeous views if you continue your journey down the mountain

This exquisite monastic building, where the grail was once supposed to be kept, (just copy on display now(see photo)) is cut into the rock on the side of a mountain. You can hike the twenty kilometres up from Jaca ( but bring lots of water in the summer as it's hot and humid) and its well worth the effort. Exterior has immaculate brickwork and windows while the inner church has an atmospheric apse and nave.

One could not have thought that in the middle of the most beautiful scenery one could find this wonderful and unusual museum. A burnt monastery surrounded by history, rescued in the most amazing way. A visit well worth the trip.

Cashing in on a natural wonder! A 30 minute drive from Jaca - a wasted journey. You have to pay to even see the outside! They don't let you park and walk up to see the wonder of the boulder over the monastery. They make you drive all the way up to the new monastery and pay for entry and a shuttle bus to go back down to see it. And at €12 it's not worth it for us! Very disappointing! Tried to take photos so you can see it but sadly they didn't come out well.

We got a great private tour in English at the end of the afternoon. Super interesting history and insight into the Basque country and some of its extraordinary culture and language. The caves are nice, but what was really exciting was the bats nest on the ceiling. Very active bats and a bunch of young ones hanging there and flapping their wings in anticipation of food. Never saw so many bats, wild, in one place. Great! There are multiple stories told and histories found. The museum is small and features a bit of all these stories. The souvenir shop is very nice and sells gems, they own a huge amethyst! Buy tickets in advance. Closed on Wednesdays. Absolutely worthwhile. There is a lot of parking place, but not too many for campervans. Public toilet for free. I am so happy that the guide, movie and all surroundings support the importance of Natura 2000! Keep this site clean and natural, as much as possible.

Fantastic aquarium- however we didn’t realise there was no parking at the actual a aquarium (because of where it is located) so don’t just put it into google maps without planning a car park first. The a aquarium itself was really well laid out and in two separate buildings. Some amazing fish and the jelly fish were spectacular. And my kids loved seeing the turtles and hammer head sharks. Also take time to appreciate the amazing art work and how it was created. Would throughly recommend.

Great museum with lots of fun jellyfish, octopus, seals, sharks and turtles as well as fun fish. Well curated, but a bit expensive at 46 eur for two adults and a kid.

It was a good aquarium with some very pretty jellyfish and seals. The other attractions were quite interesting too. Missing 1 star because they let too many people in at a time, we were crammed in like sardines.

The aquarium offers a decent variety of marine life, with the large shark tank being a highlight, providing an impressive view. I highly recommend a visit. However, the seal tank had noticeable algae growth, giving us a cloudy view. The seals are fed twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening, so I recommend timing your visit for one of the feedings to enhance your experience.

My kid is almost two and he love it! Is not huge is big enough to spend 2 hours on it and is walkable for kids. They have a lot of sharks and spaces to sit and enjoy the fishes. A snack space, seals, turtles and a beautiful view. It was not super full so you can enjoy it with the stroller with not a problem.

The only downside is that they do the seal feeding fully in French. I didn’t understand a single word. But my experience with the place was very positive. Really enjoyed the effort they put into this park. And the ticket price is worth it for sure; even it’s just to see the shark tanks, or hang out with Izar and Charlie.

Nice outcrop from the headland over a cool bridge. Was great the day we visited as it was after a storm so the seas were quite wild and waves crashing along the shore which made it more special. Not much to do there other than stroll out to it and admire the views. As your in Biarritz check it out and walk on from there through the streets to the port and palace beach

A very nice vantage point to see the miramar beach and plage de la Côte des Basque. Very nice views during sunset. Adventurous swimmer and divers often jump up from here to the sea.

A delightful place to reach with a short nice walk and to enjoy at sunset. Surely there are always tons of tourists, but still, the place is attractive and full of photo opportunities.

Great place. Must see in Biarritz. You can fee the power of the ocean. Picturesqe place for a romantic walk. Beautiful sunsets, great sunglight of the sunrise as well. Have a great walk!

Amazing view of the beach and the sea, sometimes there was an artist who was selling the paintings for cheap, and there are paid telescopes. The waves sometimes are huge and can splash over the ledge, so be careful! Video from the Autumn.

A good place to see, how people lived in ancient rural times. I visited it on weekday in September. Unfortunately almost all attration where no presentations. Which was a bit sad. Maybe ask before, when you want to see more lifelike thing. The houses are ooen and luckly the animals where there😏. Also, when you to eat there, come in the morning. In September entrance is closed from 12-13:40 o'clock. So in Afternoon Restaurant is already closed! It is a quiete big area. I spend 4 hours. There is also free guided tour, but in french. Luckly all decriptions are in different languages. This helps a lot. The small train driver -4km- is nice in old shaking waggons. But speed is slow, no worries🚂. The fee was 15€, which is fair for the size of the Ecomuseum.

Excellent expérience highly recommended. We made a second visit 3 days later as the first was curtailed by a violent storm though we spent the time in the museum which was worthwhile. Thanks to all the staff.

A very interesting landmark to explore... went to a Easter program. Using colored blocks for the hunt which makes it even more interesting... a nice place to express for sure

If you are on the road, this is a great little stop and time jump Back to 19 century rural France. Many old houses reconstructed on site. If you have kids, they will love it. There is an old auberge a bakery and a which house and farm animals as well!

The Museum itself is beautiful. However the map is super confusing and many roads are not marked on the map. My children lived the train ride!

A lovely zoo, bigger than expected with a wide range of different animals and birds. Animals were all out and the enclosures looked well maintained. A little pricey at 26 euros each but actually well worth it with young kids. I would definitely recommend this as a short day trip out.

5 stars because of gorilla Lope who moved here. I've been following since he was 3 years old and they are taking excellent care of him. Love how clean and well looked after the zoo is. And a great collection of animals. The staff/keepers are super friendly and can't wait to visit again. Find me on YouTube 😊.

The best zoo that we have ever visited. To have such close proximity to every creature was an experience we relished The site is beautiful, clean and well maintained. I highly recommend a visit.

We were here first time 18 years ago. It us still an amazing zoo. Worth the price.

Really nice zoo. At first looking at the entrance I wasn't impressed but once inside all was good. You never should judge a book by it's cover. There is a wide collection of animals. Form birds to African elephants, from tigers to rino's. And of course apes. The enclosures where spacious set up. And the walking route was clearly pointed out so you won't miss any of the animals. We took our time and our visit was around 3 - 3.5 hours

Best zoo I have ever been to. It kind of feels like a very natural environment and you can get quite close to the animals. We really loved it here!

Not too bad for a zoo (we are not zoo lovers). Took us just over 4 hrs to walk around nice and slow, plenty of animals to see and enjoy. All the animals had plenty of space and areas to roam.

We combined a trip to Bordeaux with this so ended here at the beginning of the evening (at 18:00). We parked not at the formal entrance, but a bit down the road where we had to walk between the bushes and made a steep climb onto the dune. Challenging! But the view is amazing and coming there in the evening gives very nice pictures with the sunset (and it's not so crowded). We swam for a short while and went back before it got dark. The way down is much faster ;-)

Great views of the surrounding countryside. Be ready for a good climb if you want to reach the top though as there are plenty of steps to navigate, make sure you have some comfy footwear. The parking is €7, but that also covers the cost of the visit for as long as you want, so it was very good value for money. The parking areas are also very shaded so your car won’t be an oven when you return from your travels. It was busy when we visited, but as the fine is so large it didn’t feel overcrowded.

If in area this is a must see! This is one long 2km dune along the coast. It seems so out of place. The view from the top of the dune overlooking the bay is stunning. There is one set of stairs to assist with your climb.
