Popped in for a quick bite after the caves. Clean and neat. Ideal for those with kids. The restaurant is self-service (ordering the food) and the delivery to your table is jiffy. It's a system that works. The waitress was friendly and accommodating and the meals were very affordable. Us locals appreciate that.

Such a cute place for the kids. A lot of activities to choose from at an extra cost. Tables outside was a bit wobbly but that's actually the only reason I cant give 5 stars. Self service at the restaurant works well. Perfect for day visit or quick stop to stretch legs on a long trip.

Lovely 'oasis' in Oudtshoorn. Wouldve loved it more if there were swimming pool for Adults. Food was exceptionally fast, from the time an order was placed to recieving the meal. Kids enjoyed the activities like camel riding, paddle boats, feeding the animals and making use if the slides. Trampolines, and Grounds could use some general maintenance though.
Madame A — Google review
Visited with my kids, because I spent time here as a child, 10-15 years ago. Not much has changed, and not in a good way. The place needs some love, and the food needs some improvement (and real chutney and tomato sauce)
Shannon S — Google review
I had an amazing time. The activities got me feeling like a kid again. It was a perfect addition to my birthday weekend. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The camel ride was my favorite. They brought the desert to the Karoo. I will definitely go back soon.

We, a group of 9 people, had brunch at Wilgewandel. The chicken tramezzinis were delicious. Service was quick and efficient. Pleasant view of the dam, birds and camels from the veranda. Thank you.

Highgate Ostrich Show Farm is one of the popular ostrich farms in Oudtshoorn, South Africa. It offers tours where visitors can enjoy tractor rides or guided walks into the fields, hand-feed ostriches, and view incubators where eggs are hatched. The farm also provides opportunities to interact with cute ostrich chicks during the breeding season. Additionally, guests can learn about these long-legged creatures and their habits while enjoying an educational tour with some hands-on experiences.
Highgate Ostrich Farm is an amazing place to visit! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The guided tour was fun and informative, giving us great insight into ostriches. The lunch was fantastic and definitely a must. I highly recommend this experience for a unique and enjoyable day out.
Alichia B — Google review
We had a great time on the tour. Our guide shared lots of interesting information about ostrich farming and made sure we were having fun. We also had the chance to feed them and play with baby ostriches. There’s also a restaurant serving ostrich dishes and a nice souvenir shop.
Madalina D — Google review
What a great experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greated with welcoming smiles and excellent service. Tour is very interesting - we thought we knew about ostriches but there was so much we learnt! Our guide, Hermes, was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and took the time to ensure everyone got an opportunity to capture unique photos or videos. Easy walking, safe parking, lovely spot to have a drink under the trees before the tour and an interesting gift shop to finish off afterwards. Great value for money - would highly recommend (and not just for international visitors). Thank you so much for an awesome time!

Gift shop
Safari Ostrich Farm is a long-standing family-owned establishment that spans 1,800 hectares and offers guided tractor tours, a gift shop, and a cafe. Founded in 1956 as an educational site about ostriches, the farm has transformed into a popular attraction while still staying true to its original mission.
It was a really great experience. We had a lot of fun on the safari tour. The guide was friendly and shared interesting facts about ostriches. We were able to take lots of amazing pictures. Feeding the ostriches was a real highlight. The facility itself is very clean. There’s a great playground and an on-site restaurant with plenty of seating.

Fantastic experience. Great tour guide. Lovely place. Clean and well maintained tractors that you ride on. Its a must for a family outing. Also not expensive to visit and enjoy. 100stars for all involved.
Askmonique S — Google review
★★★★☆ Interesting experience, but expected a bit more It was a nice visit to the Safari Ostrich Farm and definitely interesting to learn about the history of ostriches in South Africa — especially that they originally came from Asia. The tour was informative and well-organized by Samuel and seeing the birds up close was a unique experience. However, I expected a bit more in terms of interactivity or size. Still, worth a stop if you’re in the area and curious about these fascinating animals.
Hachim — Google review
Nice experience. We get a guided tour of the farm in a tractor trailer , while the guide gave us explanations about ostriches. There is a big space where the birds are sitting, a small exchibition and a shop and a restaurant where we ordered ostrich stake. There is a big parking place, in the yard. There is a schedule of groups visits. You can buy food in the shop and feed the ostriches directly from the car.
Mihaela C — Google review
I became fascinated by ostriches after seeing them on the roadside during a previous trip to Botswana, so when we were driving the Garden Route we made a small detour to visit Safari Ostrich Farm. We went on a tractor tour led by a friendly, outgoing guide who made the experience fun and informative. Afterwards, we got to feed the ostriches and learned more about them. The shop was also really good, with plenty of unique and interesting souvenirs. The manager/owner of the farm was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially when our transport was delayed - something we were very grateful for.
Junaid A — Google review
Great place to see, feed and learn all about ostriches. Partly walking partly on the back of a tractor trailor. Knowledgeable staff and well organised tour. But use up your feed ( which you can buy for 5 rand) on the tractor your. The ostriches will come up to you to eat, very messily. Great opportunity for photo or videos up closer. Great information about ostriches which I won't spoil here, but you will be surprised and even amazed. Just could do with a bit more guidance for guests in how and when to use the feed.
Andrew S — Google review
Enjoyable and informative tour to Safari Ostrich Farm. Didn't know a lot about Ostrichs but after the guided tractor tour into the paddock and museum with Bronwin we came out knowing a lot more. Make no mistake, Ostrichs are HUGE! Only when they run up to the tractor and tower over you do you get an idea of their size. They are inquisitive birds but feed them at your own risk! I bought a bucket of food for R5 and they came running to eat. Their coordination isnt so great and in their frenzy one bit my thumb (im ok), food went everywhere and another snatched the bucket by the handle and out of the tractor it went. We drove slowly through various paddocks then got out to walk and see emus and ostriches from the safety of behind fences. We finished up in a museum showing various anatomy displays, incubators, leather and feather making processes. Bronwin was great! He had a very easy listening voice and was very knowledgable. There is a large giftshop onsite selling a wide variety of goods including ostrich leather articles, painted eggs, egg lights etc. The cafe onsite has light meals and ostrich biltong for sale. See cafe review for food review.
Timeshare C — Google review
Excellent tour guide. Tour by tractor driven carts to see different breeds of Ostrich. Then walking tour finishing in incubator house. On site toilets and dining and cafe.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the drinks and the options available for wine tasting. Very affordable, there is a fire place for the cold winter days but they could make their Saturday hours longer.

Stopped into Karusa while in Outdshoorn. The wines, the location, the service was out of this world ! The homemade bread is to live for! Wish we could have stayed the whole afternoon!! Did I mention the homemade bread is to live for!! Baked by the owner. If we come again, can we have the recipe? A must visit for wine and sustenance!!! 5 stars! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

It's a nice place to come and relax for a while come taste some gin and taste some wine 🍷 Set in a beautiful landscape 🌆 They offer nice food at reasonable prices. The food and the wine were delicious, also don't forget the home crafted beer 🍻 which was also a win. Definitely will drop back when in the area .

We had a wonderful time here tasting wine with a yummy ostrich wrap. The wines are good and the setting is beautiful. Make reservations if you plan on visiting on a Saturday. If you are not a wine fan, they even have a craft brewery there. The lager was outstanding. You can’t go wrong with a visit here.

Rural farm visit with ostrich feeding & petting, incubator tours & a chance to see chicks in season.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cango Ostrich Farm. The guided tour was very informative. We got to learn about ostriches, their breeding cycle, ostrich eggs, as well as emus and emu eggs. The hands-on experiences with the ostriches were lovely. The children in our group were allowed to go into the enclosure with two pygmy ostriches. Anyone who wanted to could stand on a clutch of ostrich eggs to see how strong their shells are, and we had the opportunity to feed them. Our guide was super! Informative and entertaining, and because he has worked with ostriches for many years, he could share anecdotal experiences The curio shop was well-stocked with some really lovely things. We bought a few empty ostrich eggs.

Visited with family from overseas, got tickets to enter with no issues, good and knowledgeable guide who was accommodating to both adults and kids. Learned new facts :)

Wonderful experience with knowledgeable local guide! Friendly residents who eat all the grains from your bucket and give you a neck massage in return!
Fleur C — Google review
You may learn a lot about these fantastic and a little bit stupid guys here- a neck massage included! Go for a visit- it‘s really nice!
Jurgis P — Google review
The host was amazing, we had good laughs. She makes you feel welcome. The tour was SLIGHTLY shorter than expected. She can spend little bit more time around the camps for people to take a walk and photos. Otherwise the experience was amazing and feeding the ostriches an absolute blast
Bianca V — Google review
I really enjoyed this place. The highlight for me was the tour guide and amazing ostrich panini .The gentleman tour guide was so informative, friendly, people orientated, just overall brilliant. The tour takes around 30-40 minutes and there are not many ostriches on display in the begining, 2 miniature ostriches, 2 emus, 2 big ostriches and 1 in heat. You then walk to the larger enclosure where you can get up close and personal but only one at a time.An ostrich massage is included in your ticket price (Voluntary). You hold a bucket in front of you and the ostriches attempt to eat the food over your shoulder rubbing against your neck.Don't expect calming background music to be playing while you get the massage. You can sense the tour guide loves his job and his explanation of the breeding and reviewing fertile eggs was interesting. You also get an opportunity to stand on an egg.Once you have completed the tour, bought souvenir and had a bite to eat, there is not much else to do.No walking paths and you are not able to walk through on your own.
Brandon — Google review
Worth the stop, great experience with a very energetic and knowledgeable guide.
Alzette G — Google review
Due to having guided tours you may need to wait a few minutes before being allowed to enter. However this is well worth it as the guides are very knowledgeable and you get the chance to feed the ostriches, including feeding multiple ones from a bucket and one on its own directly from your hand. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would love to go again in the future.

Which btw the lady’s at the restaurant made for us so graciously although they were still busy setting up. Thank you.

Professionally run, nice landscaping, easy paths and above all, a wonderful guided tour to learn more about the animals. Our guide Jonathan is enthusiastic and friendly. I chose the Leopard encounter and it was very special. Never saw a leopard so close before and she looked very pleased and healthy. Do support this ranch and the good work they do.

Cango Wildlife Ranch, Oudtshoorn What started as a pleasant morning turned into an unforgettable wildlife adventure at Cango Wildlife Ranch. My family and I chose the self-guided tour option, which gave us the perfect pace to truly absorb the breathtaking scenery and immerse ourselves in learning about each fascinating species. Despite it being a quieter day at the ranch, this actually enhanced our experience. The peaceful atmosphere allowed us to connect more deeply with the animals and their stories. The absolute highlight was our lemur encounter – an experience that exceeded all expectations. Our guides were exceptional: knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly well-prepared. They shared captivating insights about lemur behavior, dietary needs, and the ranch's outstanding commitment to animal welfare and conservation. What impressed me most was witnessing firsthand how well-cared for all the animals are. The dedication to their wellbeing was evident throughout our visit. The ranch is wonderfully family-friendly, offering something for everyone. The kids can enjoy the playground, while the adults appreciated browsing the gift shop and enjoying a delicious meal at one of the two on-site restaurants. Cango Wildlife Ranch delivers an perfect blend of education, conservation, and pure joy. Highly recommended for families seeking a meaningful wildlife experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Cango Wildlife Range. The enclosures are well kept and the staff do their best to make the visitors feel comfortable as well as the animals. A special thank you to our amazing tour guide, Themba!!!

The Cango wildlife ranch is a beautiful place with friendly staff that really provide an extraordinary experience. They not only share the beauty of the animals & nature, but take a pleasant interest in their guests. The tours and Curio shop is prestine and the restaurant has delicious food on the menu. I recommend giving the Ranch a visit as highly. Thank you Cango Wildlife Ranch. Keep up the good work.

The tour was nice, not that wow but ok. Not alot of information on the animals for a adult. On the other side, the kids loved it and they've enjoyed the kids play area.Im my opinion the Ranch are well maintained, clean with no bad smells. Will definitely visit again when my kids are bigger.

Overall great family experience. The staff goes above and beyond to provide a good experience while putting animal welfare first. They also serve as an animal sanctuary so we were happy to spend our money there. Pricing is very affordable anyway. Special shoutout to Jowellen and Matthew who assisted us during the wildlife encounters and were very professional and knowledgeable. Our tour guide Runicka was so sweet and fun. Our kids (8 and 3yo)loved it, definitely would come back. We happily adopted the leopard Nanji.

Cango Wildlife Ranch is an absolute gem and a must-see destination for anyone visiting the area! The experience was nothing short of amazing, with the highlight undoubtedly being the thrilling crocodile cage diving – a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that left us in awe. The service was exceptional throughout, and we received outstanding assistance from a gentleman at the till at Monsoon Restaurant. His warm demeanor and professionalism truly stood out, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Even the car guards were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a positive and safe atmosphere from start to finish. From the breathtaking wildlife encounters to the impeccable service, Cango Wildlife Ranch exceeded all expectations. Chandelier Game Lodge & Ostrich Show Farm is a rustic property located in the Klein Karoo, known for its serene atmosphere and blue skies. The lodge offers comfortable accommodations with essential amenities and is close to nature, making it an ideal setting for an African-style wedding. Visitors can explore nearby ostrich farms and enjoy tours of the community craft center. Additionally, the lodge serves as a convenient base for exploring the scenic Garden Route and the Karoo National Park.
We stayed for 2 nights in the luxury tented camp. Very plush accommodation with air conditioning, fan and a small fridge. Staff were super friendly. We dined out, so the evening meal was brought to a table set just outside our tent. The food itself was lovely. We didn't see any animals by the tents or nearby waterhole. You can walk around in the veld and do birdwatching. Interesting plants too. There was a short morning game drive included with our stay in an area alongside. They have a lot of Boer Bokke and some Ostriches next to the reception area. Also King Springbok and the two Giraffes by the restaurant.
Gerhard G — Google review
We went there 11 years ago and not much has changed. Tents are still excellent and luxurious. It would have been good to check the aircon before guests arrived as neither were working. The game drive is exceptional. Didn't see much but the guide is a treasure! Giraffes were also great and my grandson loved them. Food was very ordinary. Unfortunately we were there when there was a bike ride and had helicopters at 5am. Should have been informed when we booked as it spoiled what should have been birdsong in the morning

Chandelier Game Lodge, Oudtshoorn- Giraffe Encounter 🦒 What an unforgettable experience! As the golden Oudtshoorn sunrise painted the sky, we sipped perfectly brewed cappuccinos while waiting for the stars of the show - the majestic giraffes. The staff warmly welcomed us, creating an instant home-away-from-home feeling. When the giraffes finally emerged, enticed by fresh branches, pure magic unfolded. Lucky, our gentle giant, eagerly munched on succulent leaves right from our hands! The staff's enthusiasm was contagious - their positive energy and clear communication made everything seamless. Our little baby girl were thrilled with the playground featuring a jungle gym, swings, and even a wooden giraffe to climb. This place perfectly blends wildlife wonder with family fun. Highly recommended!
Nicolene P — Google review
No words except excellence ! I was there with my boyfriend and we booked a game drive and giraffe experience. Elton gave us the option to take a platter and wine with us on the game drive and we had a beautiful romantic picnic in the middle of the mountains with nothing but silence and nature, it felt as if it was only me and my boyfriend in the world. It was spontaneous and nothing short of amazing. Elton clearly has a passion for his work and his intelligence is incredible the way he talked about the animals and everything they do for these animals is astonishing. Thank you so much Elton for this incredible experience that we will cherish forever.
Christelle R — Google review
I would definitely not recommend this establishment - they overcharged me by R900 when I made an online booking and have still not refunded me. They offer game drives but there are almost no animals on the property. They also have two giraffe in an enclosure with no trees and then offer for guests to pay to bottle feed them.
Jonathan S — Google review
Had a great experience at the game reserve! Our tour with Zene was informative and enjoyable — we learned so much, especially about ostriches. The highlight was definitely feeding the giraffes — such a fun and unforgettable moment. Highly recommend for a family outing or day trip!

We drove out on a Sunday to go view the lovely farms for sale within the Chandelier Game Park: exceptional and ideal for nature-lovers who'd appreciate a view of the Swartberg and living in a game reserve! Gerrie & Okkie were most gracious with their time and information. We also had a meal at the restaurant which was average. We loved that they welcome pets. The giraffe fell in love with my Rosie and it was SO sweet to witness the interaction. Even meeting the resident GREAT Dane was an event! Well worth a visit.
Ronel P — Google review
We stayed a night in the cottage which was well appointed, clean and in a wonderful location. Loved everything about it. We chose to have dinner and breakfast included but what a dismal experience. My steak was 20% fat, the veggies bland. The ostrich capacio (sp?) consisted of meat tossed into a basic salad. Aish, send your chefs to basic cooking school please. This is not the way to present this dish. Chocolate mousse tasted like a box pudding. Malva pudding was served with ice cream on the plate which melted by the time we ate it. We arrived at 9am for breakfast with no staff to be seen and lots of people standing around waiting to be helped. We left after a while without eating anything. Considering it's a 4 star lodge it certainly doesn't live up to its stars.

The beach offers a comfortable sea temperature, making it perfect for swimming from November to March. Additionally, visitors can enjoy various water sports such as surfing, boating, diving, and fishing. Santos Beach also serves as a popular launch spot for paddle skis.
Very safe and arguable the most beautiful beach in Mosselbay. Great for kids as waves are small and the sea is mostly calm.

What a lovely beach. The water was warm and waves were actually very big. Lifeguards on duty and the nets are wide and far out enough not to feel cramped in the space. Had a great day. The beach has showers and toilets.

Awesome view of the bay area including some whales & dolphins. Sunrise was the best view of the day! Nice clean beach & has safety nets to keep the swimmers safe. Would definitely want to visit there again!
Rasheed H — Google review
Toasted sandwiches were tiny, and seriously overpriced! Not pet friendly. We had to order a take away, took ages even though it was early morning and they only had a handful of customers. Think it came with 10 chips, possibly less. Just an all around disappointment for a visitor from Cpt, where you expect to pay more for less. But that's not the case.♡cpt I can see the appeal to Santos in terms of location. It's a pity, we were very excited and hopeful for a good experience.
Natasha D — Google review
A very nice beach, not the most idyllic one but it is very nice overall. The sanitary facilities are free and clean, the beach is clean, there are several good places to get food or drinks... Very very good public beach, I would definitely recommend going there when visiting Mosselbaai.
Thomas V — Google review
One of the cleanest beaches I've seen in a while. Calm water, not for surfers, but great for small kids. Water was clean and warm. Great little kiosk right there selling snacks, delicious draairoomys (softserve) and takeaway food. The Santos Express is right there for a bigger meals or drinks and so is one of the oldest beach pavilions with great architecture and a restaurant.

The Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex is a maritime site that offers a glimpse into Mossel Bay's early significance for European sailors. Named after the 15th-century Portuguese explorer, Bartholomeu Dias, the complex features a life-sized model of his sailing vessel and an aquarium. Visitors can start their journey at the museum shop, which showcases various souvenirs including handmade caravels.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to see and experience at the Bartolomeu Dias Museum – all for just R10 entrance! The variety of exhibits was impressive, from the maritime displays to the Shell Museum, and even the historic Post Office Tree. It’s such a well-kept, informative, and peaceful place, perfect for both adults and kids. One of the highlights was the life-size replica of Dias’s caravel – even though we couldn't go on board, it was still awe-inspiring to see up close. The ethnobotanical garden added a lovely natural touch to the visit, and the aquarium with live molluscs was fascinating. Overall, this museum offers incredible value and a great way to spend a few hours soaking in some local history and nature. Highly recommend it to anyone passing through Mosslbay 👌🏻

5/5 Stars - A Must-Visit for History and Art Lovers! The Diaz Museum in Mossel Bay is an absolute gem! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I was particularly captivated by the impressive collection of paintings and the intricately detailed ship models, which truly bring the history of maritime exploration to life. It's a wonderful place to spend a few hours immersing yourself in the rich heritage of the region. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an engaging and informative experience, especially if you appreciate art and historical artifacts!

It was fantastic. Loved the curio shop. The history and the well maintained Aquarium. Overall a wonderful experience after many years. Kids also loved it.

We visited the Bartolomeu Dias Museum in Mossel Bay and really enjoyed it. The grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, and the exhibits are well presented. We especially loved the shell museum and the life-size replica of Dias’s caravel — both are fascinating and worth seeing. The museum offers a great mix of history and natural beauty, and it’s easy to spend a few relaxing hours exploring. The only small downside was that the ladies’ bathroom didn’t have toilet paper, but otherwise everything was excellent. Definitely worth a stop if you’re travelling the Garden Route — a well-run and interesting museum with lots to see and learn.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this museum. From the outside, it looks quite unassuming, but there’s so much more than meets the eye. Inside, everything is neat, well-maintained, and thoughtfully presented. The maritime museum is packed with fascinating information, and the shell museum was an unexpected highlight—with a fun mix of aquarium exhibits and display cases showcasing an incredible variety of shells. A great experience overall!

The Diaz Museum is situated at Mossel Bay, great collection and very rich in history. If you like the history, this is place you must visit.

Not too badly priced to enter. Very well maintained with an additional aquarium and shell exhibit. Beautiful gardens and very educational. Well worth a visit. Id highly recommend coming here
Duwayne P — Google review
Enjoyed our visit to the museum! Lots of information available, however feel this a opportunity missed. There are so much more that can be done to make the museum more interactive and maybe add a “show” factor to it. It is a stage screaming for a production and the facilities are there, it should just be made use of! But overall a great visit for history lovers!

Meiringspoort is a stunning gorge located in the Swartberg mountains, accessible via the N12 national road. Before the construction of the Swartberg Pass, it served as one of the few links between Mossel Bay and towns in the Great Karoo. The area offers breathtaking landscapes with rock formations that resemble scenes from an adventure movie. Visitors can also enjoy Meiringspoort Falls, which are easily accessible from the road.
What an amazing pass , the mountains🏔️ are just breathtaking. The stops where u can stop and brai are very well looked after to.

The picnic spots. The toilets and the parking areas are all super clean. The views are out of this world, amazing, beautiful and awesome.

Most beautiful, spectacular pass on the N12 between the towns of Beaufort West and De Rust. The pass is a gateway that connects the Little Karoo and the Great Karoo through a gorge with a 25 km road crossing the same river 25 times in the span of the 25 km. Many picnic spot area with toilets. The biggest picnic spot is where the walkway is to a waterfall. Well worth the walk.

Free entrance and the best picnic spot. This is a must stop when you past through Meiringspoort. Take a dip in the natural pools! The water was very cold but refreshing and the surrounding mountains are magnificent.

Hidden beauty, many zip pass but truly a wonderful short stop. A short walk from the car park to the falls. Facilities includes bathrooms and an information kiosk.

A short stop to enjoy the freshness of the waterfall (although not necessary in winter). Some stairs to climb, but all in all easily accessible. You might want to go in the afternoon, it gets quite cold in the morning and there is not a lot of light as you can see.

Lighthouses
Nestled on the stunning cliffs of Mossel Bay, the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse Complex is a remarkable 19th-century landmark that has been guiding mariners since 1864. This iconic lighthouse, characterized by its striking red-and-white striped tower, not only serves as a vital navigational aid but also offers visitors breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and surrounding landscapes. The complex features a scenic hiking trail known as the St. Blaize Trail, which stretches for 13.
What an experience being on top of an actual functioning lighthouse. The lighthouse keeper (Marius) seemed very eccentric and quirky, which 100% adds to the intrigue of the whole vibe there. I would very highly recommend going to check out the lighthouse and the absolute unreal view while having coffee there.
Jacques D — Google review
Cape St. Blaize lighthouse is a wonderful place to visit if you're in the Mossel Bay area and you get an instant reward of the excellent views over the ocean, the town and harbour. The drive up to the lighthouse is tricky but not difficult and there are guards to assist you with parking. But the star of the lighthouse is no doubt Marius who is a person with a wonderful energy, passion and enthusiasm for the work he does here looking after the lighthouse and ensuring marine safety around the Cape. He is able to answer questions and conducts every tour, which costs R100 ($5.60) per person, and makes you feel like it's the first time he's done it. You get a free drink at the end of you tour. Also, he customises each tour based on the audience level so that you can understand the content easily. Downstairs you will find Truth Coffee which is a popular eatery for the locals who come to sit and take in the excellent view. It's difficult for wheelchair users to truly get the full experience, but the position of the lighthouse makes it hard to imagine how one could accommodate wheelchair users.

This was a spur-of÷the-moment visit. What a pleasant surprise. The view is fantastic and the restaurant was great. Cappucinos and cake served by friendly, competent staff made the climb (we drove up) really worthwhile.

A lovely experience! We were there this morning with a party of 8 people and a baby for the tour and a drink. The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming, and helped looked after my elderly grandmother when we went up the lighthouse. The man with the frizzy hair is very nice 😄 Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a view and a sip of something nice. R100 well spent!

We came from far for our honeymoon in Glentana, and decided to visit Mosselbay during the school holiday's on the 9th of October. While there, we wanted to visit the lighthouse... But upon coming there, they said they were closed. (Take note: this was an hour before the closing time; 4pm). We were told to park and walk up to the lighthouse. Upon walking all they way up, we got to the gate... Only to be laughed at by the security and told that we're not allowed there- They were already closed, despite it being 3 pm that day. We were not allowed to buy tickets... Only take a photo. I'm quite dissapointed. We both were looking forward to enjoying the view... 😔

The St. Blaize Hiking Trail is a popular 13.5-kilometer route in Mossel Bay, South Africa, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and rugged cliffs. Named after the moss-covered St. Blaize Lighthouse, this trail takes hikers through beautiful gorges with stunning fynbos and sea vistas. The path runs along the cliff edges in some areas, providing an exhilarating experience for nature lovers and photographers alike.
It’s a wonderful hike with breathtaking views, just be prepared for some rocky terrain towards Dana Bay’s side of the hike, and take plenty of water along; there is a tap to refill water at the entry to Pinnacle Point golf estate(from Mosselbay’s side 6km into the hike), through which the trail passes. Shade is scarce so hike early in the morning with sun protection. The hike should take 6 hours.
Eben M — Google review
It’s a beautiful hike. Definitely best to do it at spring low tide. There are plenty rocks to navigate. I wouldn’t suggest doing it barefoot. The rock pools are amazing. The water was crystal clear. One beach is covered with the most gorgeous pebbles. Not suited for young kids.
Marie V — Google review
Beautiful coastal hike along stunning cliffs! Follow the little white bird drawn on the rocks along the path. My partner and I started at the lighthouse in Mosselbay, ended at the pinnacle golf estate club house and took a taxi back. It took us ~3hrs. Apple Watches recorded ~10km. Important: Towards the end of the hike you will have to cross through the golf estate. It’s fenced in but they let hikers pass before 4pm. Make sure to be there on time, otherwise you’ll have to hike back … Make sure to wear appropriate shoes, sunscreen and a hat. Also, keep an eye out for dolphins!
Laura L — Google review
Beautiful hiking trail! Stunning view! Gorgeous cliffs and caves and rocky coast line. Path is not very tough. You can easily hike. Even my 4yrs old daughter hiked with my help.
Mothusi — Google review
We did the full 13.5 km starting at Dana Bay. It’s easier to get a taxi from Mossel Bay than to get a taxi to pick you up in Dana Bay, so start your hike in Dana Bay and hike towards Mossel. Do the whole trail or part of it, but don’t miss this hike if you’re in the area. It’s amazing and one of the most beautiful trails in her world!
J B — Google review
What an incredible scenery. Really worth the hike. Take enough water. Clearly marked with bird sign. Once you are at the security gate you will enter the golf estate and will sign in. It is 9km all the way to the pinnacle clubhouse if you start at the light house. The trail really got scary at pinnacle point when we had to walk on the edge of the cliff. We also had to duck and dive for the golf balls. Some of the bridges steps are broken and not attended to. We also did not see alot of bird signs while going in the estate. The clubhouse offered ice cold drinks, which was lovely. We got a bolt to take us back to the hotel.
Carina A — Google review
An amazing hiking trail with spectacular views of the wild ocean. It is a 13.5km hike between Mossel Bay point to Dana Bay which takes around 5 hours to complete. There are some climbing and uphill areas with a total elevation gain of 425 meters. The trail was mostly well marked. There are no shade so recommend to do the hike early morning or on cloudy days. Loved the experience and will definitely do it again.
Anze W — Google review
I only did a small part of the hike near the lighthouse which is close to the town and parking lot. It’s a nice trail with cute little rabbit like animals along the trail. There is also a cave at this part of the trail introducing some history. You can also see the zip lining here.

The Shark Lab - Mini Aquarium offers hands-on experiences with small sharks and exhibits an octopus along with other marine creatures in tanks. Visitors can stroll through the aquarium to see tropical and local fish, as well as jaws/skeletal remains. For an additional fee, visitors can swim with the sharks; however, they are reminded not to touch or tap the glass. Though small, the aquarium is still worthwhile and has potential for further development if given more funding. The entry fee is R30 per person.
We went past to view the mini aquarium. Very friendly staff and very well maintained. I enjoyed it alot. They have rheir own shark and octopus. Educational and entertaining
Duwayne P — Google review
My heart broke when I saw how terrible the conditions are for all the marine life at this aquarium. The shark tank is unbelievable small, dark and depressing. The guide also admitted that the shark’s mental state has deteriorated because it is actually a bottom feeder but frantically swims at the top of the tank all day long, which is completely abnormal behaviour. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I truly feel like this place should be shut down. Ever since leaving the aquarium I feel disturbed and truly heart sore for the fish that are held captive there for money.
Juariz R — Google review
My children and I enjoyed learning about all the water animals. We appreciate people saving animals living in harsh conditions. Please visit and support this gem of a place. They would appreciate your support helping these animals. The more visitors the better they can help and support these water creatures.
Elmarie R — Google review
Was disappointed with how much this little gem has gotten run down. Most tanks are empty, and those that have fish are in need of some serious TLC. The fake plants and gems thrown in tanks look cheap and nothing what it would look like in real rock pools (educational wise). Needs an urgent makeover. Feel I've wasted money @ R40pp (both children and adults) for a visit that only lasted 15min.
Nicolette O — Google review
This is a joke. It’s the worst aquarium I’ve ever seen. Waste of money and time. It’s completely unhygienic.

I attended the berry festival in October and had the best time! Irresistible craft market, the largest hedge maze in Southern hemisphere (was a dream come true) and of course, fresh strawberries and exceptionally yummy food all round. Lots of activities for kids, young and old, albeit the individual ticket prices can add up fast. Ample parking, but unfortunately someone in our party had their car hit-and-run and the parking attendants and organisers were dismissive.

A pleasant outing. It is fantastic to experience this for free and see so much quality and a learning opportunity. A must-see by every person, young or old. THANKS TO ALL THE OWNERS!!! This brought some thoughts back, as I can remember from childhood how clean and safe the stations and streets were. To see the durability and quality of products used in the trains. Sad to know that in a more modern lifestyle of today, these qualities and pride are no more exciting. People have developed and modernized but can not take responsibility for taking care of things. The nostalgia the younger generations will not understand as us that is born before 1985.

What a well-rounded Museum, touching on almost all major types of transport. I'm not much of a train enthusiast, but I really found the train displays very fascinating. The classic car section was more up my alley with some really stunning cars on display. There is also a small section covering aviation and maritime transport as well. And best of all....it's Free to enter! Definitely worth a visit.

The spot is known for being a favorite launch site for paragliders, providing visitors with the opportunity to watch them take flight. Accessible via Seven Passes Road or Hoogte Road, this scenic location also offers stunning nature views along both tarred and gravel road sections.
It is absolutely worth the visit. Short drive on mostly a grave road from Wilderness. The 2 friendly ladies started this viewpoint. They are still there with such interesting information. Also, add the mesmerizing view of Wilderness coastline.

The shape of land is interesting. You need to pass gravel road at the final section but very easy road. There are not many people here. To me, the place for paragliding was much better. It is just in front of Map of Africa and the view is great! But that site is private property. When I went there, the gate was open. But need to check it

Garden Route National Park - Wilderness Section is a forest preserve featuring lakes, rivers, estuaries, and beaches. It has been designated as a Ramsar site due to its importance as wetlands. The park offers nature trails through wooded forests and rivers where visitors can spot various bird species including the Knysna lourie and kingfishers. In spring, the park is adorned with colorful flowers.
We did the Half Collared Kingfisher hike (9km in total) and it’s a stunning walk. Almost all of the route is in shade and the wooden walkways are well maintained. The river crossing on the pontoon is a nice touch! Definitely worth doing if you have the time. The picnic area at Ebb and Flow has been upgraded since we were last there. There is now shade and picnic tables available.

We liked to hike in here. The path was well maintained. But it was crowded and we had to pay a big entrance fee. We like to contribute, but it was overpriced. Robben berg is so much cheaper. And in the george Mountains, it's even free with many more opportunities.

Great experience, fresh air walks with the kids, the trail is beautiful, well seen walk way, slippery parts especially crossing over the streams so definitely need good shoes going on this. Overall the family time spend and nature explored is well worth it. And the waterfall a definite must see.

The place is very well organized. Very beautiful. However, not much activity to do but you can enjoy a good picnic there. Very clean toilet. we did the boat riding, and the most thing that I appreciate is that they were very considering and flexible to our accommodate out request of having a short ride for 40 minutes instead of one hour and half and they gave us a reasonable discounted price. We enjoyed the boat trip very much.
Afra A — Google review
The waterfall area is beautiful, with many large pools perfect for swimming in the heat! The hike concludes with quite a lengthily boardwalk in the trees which is great for spotting birds at eye level and generally getting a nice viewpoint down to the river. The “hike” (more of a walk really) was really easy and I would recommend it to people of all ages and abilities. The only reason it got 4/5 stars is the sheer amount of litter around the waterfall. (More than I could carry back in my small hiking bag)

So many different stalls - fresh produce, raw meats, beautiful flowers, snacks for pets, different cuisines and hot foods, lots of cakes and tarts. Note that the market closes at 12.00pm.

We arrived early so parking was not a problem. When walking into the market we were greeted by the delightful music and singing of a local group, authentic Cape sounds and lyrics. The stalls have high quality artisan food, produce and baked goods at affordable prices. Cash is rewarded with discounts but card machines were available at most stalls. The venue is pet friendly with lots of people walking with dogs on leashes. The food stalls provide delicious meals prepared fresh and very quickly. A definite MUST as an outing.

It's a very busy, bustling market, if you like that sort of thing. There were a lot of vendors, as well as a large selection of food stalls to choose from, although the wait times were quite long. We enjoyed a tasty sweet and sour chicken pie from one of the stalls as we walked around. Beautiful selection of freshly cut flowers, herbs and plants for sale. Loved seeing all the paragliders as well!

Wild Oats Community Farmers’ Market in Sedgefield is a delightful experience for anyone visiting the Garden Route. Located just outside Knysna, this Saturday morning market is a must-visit for foodies, nature lovers, and anyone looking to soak up the local vibe. The market is open from 10-2 pm every Saturday, but vendors start packing up around 1:30 pm. **The food stalls are open from 10-12 pm** The market is well-organized and offers a wide array of fresh, locally-sourced produce. From organic fruits and vegetables to free-range eggs, artisan bread, and homemade cheeses, the selection is impressive and showcases the region’s dedication to sustainability and quality. The farm-to-table ethos here is evident in every stall. One of the highlights is the food section, where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast or pick up delicious snacks. Whether it’s freshly brewed coffee, warm pastries, or indulgent pancakes, there’s something to satisfy every craving. Beyond food, the market also features handcrafted items, plants, and flowers, adding to its charm. The friendly atmosphere is enhanced by the local vendors, who are happy to chat about their products and offer samples. The outdoor setting, surrounded by trees and greenery, makes it a peaceful and relaxing outing. It’s family-friendly, with ample seating and a vibrant buzz that reflects the community spirit of the Garden Route. Overall, Wild Oats is more than just a market—it’s a cultural experience. Whether you’re there to shop, eat, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, it’s a highlight of the area.

Well known for excellent and varied Artisan food and delicious type delicacy. The cheesecake from the garden of Aiden is truly "Simply the best" Go early and hungry.

A really fun morning with so much to see taste and explore. Definitely a bit of an institution in the area and well worth adding to any trip. Plan on spending the whole morning here into the early afternoon. It’s great that the market is a no smoking no vaping zone so it’s not a chaotic eat at and it’s super dog friendly with designated areas for seating with dogs and others for no dogs. A very busy market well attended but not overcrowded at all and easy to find a spot to eat. We particularly liked the stall holders listing of what they were about with badges depicting if they were local or if the producer was at the stall etc… Well worth supporting m!

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Gerickes Point is a captivating rocky outcrop located at the end of Swartvlei Beach in Sedgefield, South Africa. Despite its modest size compared to the expansive surrounding beaches, it offers a breathtaking viewpoint from its summit and is a magnet for adventurers and nature enthusiasts. The area boasts a series of five beautiful beaches extending about 8km, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling and exploring incredible rock pools.
Honestly one of the most beautiful marvels this country has to offer. You have to go at low tide and if you have the luxury of going when it’s Spring tide too, do it! Some of those rocks will cut up your feet so make sure you have some light shoes on.
Jade W — Google review
Beautiful view, this place gets a lot of visitors, low tide you can go round the beach part to the rock parts (point), great for walking or jogging, just remember to return by 2pm when high tide comes in from the point area to the beach entrance.
Rika O — Google review
Breath-taking views all along the way! It's a nice walk along the beach with sights along the way. You can walk from different points along the way but it's best to keep an eye on the tides if you walk far. There are many rock pools for kids to swim or snorkel in. Loads of bird and animal life.
Ingrid B — Google review
Gericke’s Point in Sedgefield is truly one of the most beautiful spots in South Africa. The combination of golden beaches, dramatic rock formations, and crystal-clear ocean views makes it feel almost untouched. It’s perfect for a peaceful walk, a swim, or just sitting and watching the waves crash against the rocks. If you’re lucky, you might even spot dolphins or whales in the distance. A must-visit for anyone who loves nature and breathtaking coastal scenery!
Nicolene F — Google review
Easy beach and rock walk with kids during low tide. Tip: Get some rock shoes for easy rock pool exploring. A lot of marine life on the rocks.
Pieter K — Google review
Our most favourite place in the world. Stunning beach. Quite a substantial walk but well worth it. Can only be accessed at low tide. Toilet at the parking area. Not many parking spots. Bring water. No dogs allowed due to endangered black oyster catcher breeding pairs.
SURVIVALUTION — Google review
Great walk to the point with interesting rock formations. Lots of little pools with marine life along the way, but the best are at the point. Go at low tide to enjoy them without waves crashing into you, and bring a snorkel. The view from the top of the point is excellent. It takes about 20min to track the point from the car park.
Francois H — Google review
Breathtakingly beautiful. We walked from the parking. It was an hour before lowtide so we strolled along the beach and explored the rock pools. We saw some beautiful sea anemone and starfish. Don't go barefoot on the rocks - you could cut your feet. This is one of the most beautiful and interesting beach walks.

Scarab Arts & Crafts Village in Sedgefield is a haven for unique, handcrafted treasures. The vendors take pride in their meticulously crafted merchandise, offering an array of authentic artworks, handmade clothing, metalwork, wooden creations, wool products, ceramics and more. The market's charming country-like atmosphere makes it not just a shopping destination but also a gathering place for friends.
Quite a few little business to have a look at. Nice and cozy little village area.

Didn't actually go to the market as they are only open on Saturdays but it looks like it could be a very nice one. Venue very clean and pet friendly
Natasha R — Google review
This store openly displays racism. One of their wooden signs says “DISCOUNT is a place in CHINA”, which is blatantly offensive, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. Such a sign is not “funny” — it is racist and disrespectful to an entire nation and its people. For a business to put this up shows a shocking lack of awareness and sensitivity. I strongly urge the owners to remove this racist sign immediately and reflect on the harm it causes. Customers deserve to shop in a place that promotes respect, not xenophobia. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this store to anyone.
Cooper X — Google review
Popped in here for a Craft Beer tasting and an amazing 14hour Slow Cooked smoked Beef Brisket on a Panini (Their Speciality meal that is prepared by the owner) and we left feeling like part of the family. Great friendly service with plenty of smiles. A definite "Must experience" when in the Sedgefield area.

Stunning place! Had the best strawberry beer there - A must try. Amd the little bakery makes the best chocolate donuts, huge pretzels and sourdough breads. A very nice little play area too for the kids. Would absolutely reccommend !

Great market on Saturdays in Sedgefield. Interesting art and friendly people. A perfect way to spend a morning on the garden route.

A refreshing stop on our way past. I enjoyed an omelet and a coffee. Toilets are clean. It was quite muddy at the entrance due to rain the previous night.
Sean L — Google review
The thing that first attracted me to the Scarab market in Sedgefield was the vibrancy and energy of the market. There used to be stalls at the entrance and stalls scattered around, open and inviting. It was what I call organized chaos, like nature it flowed and I enjoyed meandering around the vibrant market spending my money. But unfortunately this time I noticed that the "vibe" was gone. There were no stalls in front of the building. The stalls were boxed up in straight lines. It felt to me like a military base camp. Cold linear and too structured. The vibrant energy gone. It kind of left me feel cheated out on my spending spree and adventure. I had no interest in staying long. I really do wish the vendors success in sales and business. Sadly I have no desire to go back there. It's completely lost it's energy and vibe.

Happy Birthday Dalene Matthee and M.B! Special to have been in the forest on your special day. This trail is really something to try. The 3km is Moderate while nature take you to a peaceful place. Amazing! Thanks to the staff and every involved that keep the forest clean and safe for us to enjoy!! Very friendly staff!! Marilu Rizzato Photography

Overall, really enjoyable hike! The path is extremely well signed and even has distance markers. If you do it the correct way around (anticlockwise) there is also a fork where you can choose to do the 9km or turn off and do the 3km hike. There aren't really any views, however, there is a great spot to swim in the river and a nice small waterfall with a pool below it. It's 90% under the cover of the forest which is nice for hot days, although it can get quite humid.
Austen U — Google review
It is highly recommended. We completed the 3km hike, which was quite manageable. The scenery was lovely, but please be mindful of spiders. A 9km trail and other hiking paths are also available within the nature reserve. Please remember that there is an entrance fee.

Absolutely beautiful walk. 3km and 9km options. Well sheltered so it's good to do even when it's windy. Gorgeous foliage and bird watching. Easy walk, suitable for most.

What a place. Old forest and the upkeep by Sanparks is world class. We did the 9 km route and are going to do it again. Fantastic.

This is a very spesial place to visit. The well known writer of Circles in the Forest (Kringe in die bos) Daleen Matthee memorial are near one of the big Yellow wood trees in the forest. This is a place to walk soft and whisper because the forest speak in his voice with you. The trees watch and time stand still. And if you think back in time maybe there are still elefants walking in the forest. Enjoy the forest and the little creek were the water are clean and cold.
Gerda S — Google review
Beautiful trail in the indigenous Knysna forest. There is a shorter 3km loop, but the 9km loop is the most beautiful. Can definitely recommend this trail.

Embarking on the Prince Alfred Pass is an exhilarating journey that promises breathtaking views and a touch of adventure. Stretching approximately 70 kilometers, this scenic route takes around four hours to navigate, especially if you savor the stunning landscapes along the way. The road can be challenging with its tight hairpin bends, corrugated surfaces, and occasional potholes—perfect for those who thrive on a bit of excitement in their travels.
We were quite taken aback when our trusty Google Maps route turned into 56km of dirt road from Plett to Graaff-Reinet 🥲 Incredible views and a well maintained road for sure, albeit bumpy in some areas. The shock of finding ourselves in the deep deep mountains was offset by the adventure of it all.
Chelsey — Google review
A very rewarding drive through an excuisite landscape. Worth the effort!
Roland R — Google review
What an adventure! It's scary with tight hair pin bends, narrow dirt/rocky road that needs some patience when passing on-coming cars. But.... the scenery is stunning! Any car with good tyres (and good brakes too) will be fine. I was fortunate from the start when a lovely couple found me parked at the side of the road deliberating whether to proceed or take the longer tarred road. They said just follow them which gave me some comfort and confidence as a solo traveller. It is just so beautiful although eyes stayed mainly the road! Only managed to get a few photos. Been on the Swartberg Pass which is also beautiful but even more scary. As one goes down towards Knysna the scenery changes to lush green forests and the road gets easier to navigate. One thing to watch out for is locals who know the road and tend to drive rather fast.
Dineo S — Google review

Featherbed Nature Reserve, located on the Western Head of Knysna, is a protected reserve accessible only by boat. Visitors can enjoy guided tours to learn about the reserve's ecology, plants, bird and marine life. The area offers picturesque views of the lagoon and open sea from atop the headland. Guided hikes through milkwood forests and cycling rides through Knysna Forest are also available for nature enthusiasts.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Featherbed Nature Reserve is an absolute gem in Knysna! The experience started with a friendly and well-informed guide who made the trip so engaging. The boat ride across the lagoon was scenic and relaxing, followed by an exciting drive to the top of the West Head with breathtaking views. The walk back down was relatively easy and offered even more stunning vistas, with a chance to explore the Honeymoon Cave for those who love a bit of adventure. The day was topped off with an ice-cold draft beer and a fantastic buffet—plenty of options to satisfy every appetite. If time allows, don’t miss the beach bar for another beer and some extra relaxation before cruising back across the lagoon. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking a mix of adventure and leisure!

The Featherbed Eco walk with lunch did not disappoint. Even the overcast weather couldn’t put a damper on the afternoon. It starts with a 20min boat ride across the beautiful Knysna Estuary with interesting and entertaining commentary provided by our guide - Colin. The buffet lunch at the Featherbed restaurant was delicious with a full selection of meats, veggies, salads and deserts - drinks are not included (no cash accepted). We were shuttled up to the top of the reserve with a 60-70 min walk down to the cave (time depends on how many times you stop to take photos, and there are so many beautiful spots) Colin our Guide was not only extremely knowledgeable on the history and nature on the reserve but was also very patient with our all girls group 😁. The views throughout the walk are breathtaking and the photos don’t do it justice. All the Featherbed staff are amazing and I highly recommend this experience if you are in Knysna. We booked online and prices vary depending on the day and season. We paid R550 per person (midweek) and ticket prices includes everything except drinks and staff tips.

Thank you to Maurice and the team for a wonderful half day out to the Nature Reserve. Lovely welcome, informative boat journey and drive followed by a wonderful walk through the reserve. We then stayed for the buffet lunch with was excellent and plentiful. One tip - take your swim stuff. There is a great little beach by the beach bar you can swim off. It isn’t mentioned in their description it well worth knowing on a sunny day!!

Beautiful 2.2 km hiking trial (easy). They take you by boat to the starting point where you meet up with a truck and the truck takes up the hill, so the hike is all downhill with spectacular views. They provide walking sticks, but the route is very easy so the sticks are not really necessary. You end with a one-hour buffet lunch. My husband enjoyed the warm calamari dish, whereas I preferred the cold calamari salad.
Marien G — Google review
The most beautiful nature reserve I have ever been to!From the mainland you are taken to the reserve by the tour guide on a ferry. The lunch was amazing and the mountain top views are breathtakingly beautiful
Archie M — Google review
This was absolutely amazing . The whole experience from the ferry to the buffet lunch was great. You take a ferry from the Harbour to the west head . Upon arrival you take a 4x4 trip the top of the west head stopping at a few spots for fantastic photo opportunities. Then you walk down ( 2.2km ) alongside the mountain back to the main house where you are served with a 5 star buffet lunch . The walk down is not hard at all . The entire adventure has a scenic view from start to finish and the buffet lunch was easily the best I have ever had with a big variety of food choices. I would recommend this to everyone when they visit Knysna . Definitely worth every penny ... A must do ...

This was an amazing outing and experience. The boat trip across the lake to the nature reserve, the drive up the mountain and the awesome 2.2km scenic walk back to the boat. Accommodations at the park are beautiful, offering the unique opportunity to sleep amongst the elephants. It was an incredible experience to visit Knysna Elephant Park. Located just outside of Plettenberg Bay on the beautiful Garden Route (N2 between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape), this sanctuary is home to a gentle herd of rescued elephants who absolutely stole our hearts. We loved to see how great the elephants are being taken care off. Feeding and watching these majestic creatures up close, was something never to be forgotten. Just an all round WOW! The guides were super friendly, and very knowledgable. There is a cozy restaurant on site and a gift shop with the most adorable elephant souvenirs. An absolute must visit, from traveling solo or with friends and family, an exciting day out for everyone.

We enjoyed taking this picture. It was so much fun! The elephants are majestic animals. Loved being able to feed them and take picks with them! The fact that there were washbasins to wash our hands were a nice touch! The kids immediately ran to the play park after we finished with the elephants. Well worth a visit.

What an absolutely amazing experience at Knysna Elephant Park! Truly a once in a lifetime experience getting to be up close and personal with some of Mother Nature's most beautiful and majestic creatures. My wife and I truly had a magical time getting to see, feed and walk alongside these gentle giants. Definitely a core memory for us both and one that we can't wait to share with our kids one day too. The work this park does is so important and we are glad we could be involved too. What an experience.

It was an awesome experience. When I got there, the kids were busy feeding the elephants. It was also great to see the cabins in which people can sit and watch the animals while sitting in the comfort of their cabins - especially at night when the animals are relaxed.

I had the best experience at the Park, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Everything was done efficiently and the briefing video really simplified things. My highlight is the interaction I had with the Elephants, I will forever cherish that moment. Their restrooms were very clean. The food from the restaurant was warm, fresh and delicious. I will visit again.
