This was a great experience. In terms of view, there was nothing to wow but as for the journey, it was unforgeable. Need to be very careful when hike on rainy days, the route was very slippery. Better hike in group and highly not recommended for newbie. Do remember to bring extra clothes to change. The overall length is around 12km and it took 8 hours to complete for slow hikers on rainy days.

Abandoned route. This is a pure hiking place that requires decent hiking, camping, and surveyor skill. The grass are so tall that you need to bring in your sabre to clear the path. Therefore, it is not a place for casual hike or beginner. Keep in mind that parts of the route lead to private property. Please do not trespass. Everything is big in this area: big millipede, big mosquito, big flower, big turret spiders, big grass, and lastly, everyone's beloved big leech. It's very chilling so you can bring in lighter water capacity (except you're camping). The entrance is at a Taoist small temple with a trespass warning sign at Gotong Jaya row of restaurant. Parking should be okay.
Holloway H — Google review
It's was so muddy at the entrance after heavy rain, muddy situation cause the trail become tough and surrounding plant with thorn. Overall it consider a good trail to hike but not advisable for beginner.

Hiking & camping for 3D2N in GBB, it is very good experience in GBB. whole day are so cold around 15-18 degrees, foggy weather, rainning day, wonderful view, at night you can see opposite is genting highland night view with bright lighting.
Steve L — Google review
No permit required. Entrance is at the end of Gohtong Jaya shoplot.
Elsa L — Google review
A complete climb usually takes more than 6 hours. The climb has a variety of trails. Steep, rocky abandoned road, muddy slopes and paths full of roots. It is extra slippery during rainy seasons and there are leeches esp near wet areas. Elevation gain is about 1000 m in total and the calorie expenditure is just like running a full marathon. Not for casual hikers unless you are willing to take a brutal challenge. Some people only hike up to the Rock Garden. That is more do-able. Going to the peak adds approximately 2 hrs more to your total hike time. There is nothing much to see at the top but the journey takes you through lush moist tropical montane forest similar to the mossy forest in Cameron Highlands. This entire trail is known to destroy shoes. Make sure you wear a pair of reliable hiking shoes. Otherwise the sole may just come off and you will have to walk bare foot on sharp rocks and leech infested mud. Shoes without deep lugs or traction may cause you to slip at muddy slopes.

Batu Caves, located in Kuala Lumpur, is a must-see destination with its ancient limestone caves and Hindu temples. The 400-million-year-old mystical caves are nestled within a massive limestone cliff and have been an important religious site for Hindus. In 2018, the entire complex was renovated, including the iconic rainbow-colored staircase that has made it a popular spot for Instagram-worthy photos.
Currently the tall statue is under repairing Batu Caves is a very famous Hindu temple and tourist spot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Simple explanation: ⛰️ It is a limestone hill with a huge cave temple inside. 🪔 The entrance has a big golden statue of Lord Murugan (one of the tallest in the world). 🪜 You must climb 272 colourful steps to reach the main cave. 🕉️ It’s an important religious place for Hindus and also a popular sightseeing location. People visit for prayers, photography, and the amazing cave view.
Sujatha I — Google review
A very beautiful and airy place on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur city. The base of these caves is a famous Hindu temple with a historical significance. There’re coffee shops and food joints for visitors to savour before and after visiting the place. There’re two temples on both sides of the compound and more than 100 colourful stairs to the cave entrance. The caves are very old but maintained nicely. There’re small temples in the caves as well. Ample parking space for the place and a very relaxing yet enjoyable scenery from the place. The brass golden statue of the lord is the biggest attraction point of this spot.
Sagar K — Google review
Unfortunately the Murugan statue is under restoration work and wrapped up in scaffolding, but still the vibe at this beautiful temple complex around and inside if the impressive Batu cave is worth the visit. Goosebump feeling when slowly ascending on the steep stairs, feeling like back in India. Fantastic. Breathtaking when entering the cave at first and stunned by this huge dimensions.
Marcel C — Google review
Visited Batu Caves during my trip to Malaysia, and it was an absolutely fascinating experience that beautifully blends nature, culture, and spirituality. The iconic golden statue of Lord Murugan standing tall at the entrance is truly awe-inspiring and sets the tone for the entire visit. The steep flight of colorful steps leading up to the main cave temple is both challenging and rewarding, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings as you climb. Each step feels like a journey through devotion and history. Inside the main cave, the vast limestone formations combined with the serenity of the temple create a sacred and peaceful atmosphere. The area is well-maintained with proper amenities, and even though there are monkeys around, the management ensures cleanliness and visitor safety. The nearby smaller caves and art galleries further add depth to the cultural experience, showcasing the roots of Hindu traditions in Malaysia. The staff and devotees are kind and respectful, always willing to guide visitors. It’s easily accessible by train or taxi from Kuala Lumpur, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. Batu Caves is not just a tourist attraction—it’s a spiritual landmark that leaves you with a sense of calm, admiration, and deep cultural appreciation.
Niskarsha S — Google review
Beautiful by day, but extremely hot especially when you have to walk up the several million steps. Gorgeous by night, especially when the crowds have died down after 8pm, the temples start wrapping up and shut at 9, but the area stays open to take pictures till 10pm. Word of warning though, Grab cars can only be booked to the Exit 3 (in the back?), but that exit closes then the temples do, so it's better to head out of the main exit before booking yourself a Grab out - the signage does a terrible job of communicating this.
Ivy S — Google review
Batu Caves is undoubtedly one of Malaysia’s most iconic cultural and religious landmarks, and our visit to this impressive site was both fascinating and insightful. Located just outside Kuala Lumpur, the attraction is easily accessible and offers a blend of spirituality, history, nature, and adventure. Although our experience was overall positive, there were a few aspects—particularly the maintenance work on the Lord Murugan statue—that slightly affected the visit. Upon arriving, the sheer size and beauty of the Batu Caves complex immediately stood out. The long flight of 272 colorful steps leading to the main Temple Cave is a defining feature and provides a vibrant welcome. The steps themselves are beautifully painted and make for an eye-catching view, especially when combined with the energetic presence of monkeys and the constant movement of visitors. Climbing them was a mix of fun and challenge, but definitely manageable with short breaks and hydration.
Namrata S — Google review
Entry is free. Before you enter itself, You see Lord Kartikeya standing tall and One has to climb 272 steps to reach the top where the Sanctum sanctorum of the God is there. The first level upstairs has set of small temples and we can get offerings to provide. Then there is one more level. Even though it can get hot downstairs, It feels cool once you enter upstairs inside the cave. Beautiful and amazing temple. Monkeys are a menace. Don't keep anything in hand while climbing up esp food. Must visit if you are in KL.
Priyadharshini V — Google review
Clean, spacious and colorful; with newly built souvenir shops and spacious parking lot inside...surprisingly the parking fee for car is very cheap, just rm3 per entry. And theres no entrance fee for individual. But u need to wear proper clothing, otherwise need to wear covered skirt for a fee.. Recommended to bring small fan, drinks, and hat. Its streinuous trek up the stair, but then theres cute monkeys to look at and u will be greeted with cool breeze and big cave when reaching the top. Definitely one of the recommended activity to do

Mountains
Mount Nuang, standing tall at 4,898 feet, is the highest peak in Selangor and a beloved destination for both local and international trekkers. Nestled in Hulu Langat, this mountain boasts three scenic hiking trails that lead to breathtaking panoramic views from the summit. It's not just a hike; it's an adventure that offers nature enthusiasts a chance to encounter unique tropical flora and fauna along the way.
Greattttttttt trail. Recommended for active person only. hike will take about 4hours up , 1-2hour rest at the peak, and 3 hours descend. Please bring along your portable stove to cook at the peak as you will have more than enough time to cook and even sleep at the top!!!! Regret that I dont take the picture at the border of Selangor. I believe you already see the videos and pics of the waterfall. yes, you can take a bath over there to cool yourself down!! Enjoy your hike. As always, please bring down any trash that you see. I went to the hike somewhere in 2024. costing about Rm60. Repeat? Why not?!

Challenging hike but very rewarding. The trail can be muddy, so go prepared. The views and cool air at the top make it all worth it.

Petronas Twin Towers

The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, were once the tallest buildings in the world and remain an iconic symbol of the city. These modern Islamic-designed towers stand at 88 stories high and offer a visitor skybridge for breathtaking views. Guided tours are available for visitors to explore the towers, including the Observation Deck on the 86th floor with stunning panoramic views.
Ear popping experience you will not regret. Buying tickets in advance online recommended. Takes less than an hour and the staff are all very helpful and guide you thru every stop to the skybridge and top on the 86th floor observation deck. Great gift shops on top floor and ground as you exit. They even let you mail your postcards right there! Put this short but memorable stop on your list in KL!

Visited this place recently and I must say I found this building quite charming compared to other high towers. We went during twilight and could see the sound and light show as well. People were very well organised and there is a lot of place to sit around too. Loved the vibes of this place and could be amazing to spend the evening here.
Radhika S — Google review
Petronas twin towers, more commonly known as the twin towers, is one of the most iconic landmarks in the whole of Malaysia. This architectural masterpiece is truly stunning, mesmerizing, breath taking. It's extremely beautiful, and is massively tall. It almost feels like the top of the tower fades away into the sky. The twin towers used to be the tallest building in Malaysia, but the less known Merdeka 108 is actually taller. Regardless, no one can deny the twin towers beauty. It is the first place we visited after arriving in Malaysia, and we truly had a whale of a time here. I've never seen anything like this in any of rhe other places I've visited in the past. The inside of the twin towers is paid. But the Suria KLCC mall in the first few floors, in the base of the towers are free. We find visit there, the prices are a bit astronomical for my taste. However, for the wealthy travellers, almost every luxury/high end brand we couldn't afford is here! One interesting I must note is the toilets in the ground floor are 2RM (rather expensive) to use. But if you go to the second floor, (or first perhaps), the toilets are free. So save yourself and your family 2RM and go to the second floor and use the toilet for free. It's not that nice though, most other malls had nicer toilets. Regardless, toilets aside, this is truly one of the best views I've ever seen.
The N — Google review
The Petronas Twin Towers are not just the tallest twin towers in the world, they’re the glittering heart of modern KL. By day or night, they’re a jaw-dropping sight, especially when lit up against the city skyline. Start your visit inside Suria KLCC at the base of the towers—a huge and elegant shopping mall with everything from high-end luxury brands to local favourites. You’ll also find an excellent mix of restaurants, food courts, and cafes—perfect for everything from a quick bite to a fancy dinner. But don’t stop there—take a stroll through KLCC Park behind the towers. It’s beautifully landscaped with fountains, shaded paths, and a huge man-made lake. You’ll get amazing photos from different angles of the towers, especially during golden hour or when the towers light up at night. There’s even a free light and fountain show every evening! Fun fact: The towers were once the tallest buildings in the world (1998–2004) and still hold the record for tallest twin towers globally. They stand at 452 metres and are joined by the famous Skybridge on levels 41 and 42—which you can actually visit! If you’re in KL, this place is an absolute must—whether for shopping, dining, photography, or just soaking in the vibe of one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic landmarks.
I. M — Google review
The Petronas Twin Towers are truly magnificent, an architectural marvel that leaves you in awe the moment you lay eyes on them. It’s almost unbelievable that such a masterpiece was conceived and constructed nearly four decades ago. The design is both futuristic and timeless, perfectly blending modern engineering with Malaysian cultural elements. Whether you’re admiring them from the ground, walking the skybridge, or standing at the observation deck, the Petronas Towers offer a perspective that reminds you of human creativity and ambition at its finest. A must-visit landmark that truly defines Kuala Lumpur’s skyline.
Jayashree A — Google review
Amazing experience!🤩 I absolutely loved the night view — the KLCC Twin Towers look breathtaking when they light up after dark. The atmosphere is calm, the surroundings are vibrant, and the whole place feels magical. • Tickets not really recommended 🎫— you can enjoy most of the beauty from outside. • Easily accessible via KLCC Metro Station 🚇, just a short walk away. • Don’t miss the water fountain show 🌊— it usually happens between 8 PM to 9 PM, and it’s stunning to watch at night. A must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur, especially at night!
Rahool — Google review
The Petronas Twin Towers are impressive from every angle, and during my visit they were lit in bright Diwali colours - an Indian celebration marking the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil. It made the night view especially striking. The skybridge and observation deck are worth the ticket cost, offering clear, expansive views of the city. The architecture carries real meaning too: the towers are based on an eight-pointed Islamic geometric pattern, reflecting Malaysia’s Muslim heritage, and their 1990s construction involved unusually deep foundations and high-strength concrete. Also worth mentioning the beautiful intergration and coexistence of cultures and ethnicities alongside each other that becomes clear as soon as you enter Malaysia. Chinese, Malaysian and Indian ethnicities can be observed having very minimal segregation and it’s amazing to see just how much they embrace one another’s culture and allow time and space for all to celebrate their religious traditions. I’m only dropping one star because of the people at the intersection out front who aggressively try to sell photo services. It slightly disrupts an otherwise excellent visit.
Joel G — Google review
Nice tourist place to visit. The people working there were friendly and helpful. The tour conducted was very orderly and well-planned. We enjoyed the Malaysian dance at the end of the tour. Thank you.

Menara Kuala Lumpur, one of the tallest freestanding towers globally and the highest in Southeast Asia, stands majestically at 421 meters. This iconic landmark is not just a communications hub but also a fantastic viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur. Visitors can indulge in a unique dining experience at its revolving restaurant, which provides a stunning 360-degree perspective of the city as they savor their meals.
KL Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks in Kuala Lumpur and an absolute must-visit for anyone exploring the city. Standing tall above the skyline, it offers incredible panoramic views that stretch across the entire city and beyond. From the moment you arrive, the structure itself is impressive, combining modern design with a touch of elegance. The highlight of the visit is undoubtedly the observation deck. From this vantage point, you can see the Petronas Towers, bustling city streets, and even the surrounding greenery that balances the urban landscape. On clear days, the view is breathtaking, while in the evenings, the glittering city lights create a completely different but equally stunning experience. For those seeking a bit more thrill, the Sky Deck and Sky Box are unforgettable. Stepping into the glass box suspended high above the ground gives an adrenaline rush while also allowing for some incredible photo opportunities. Beyond the views, KL Tower also has attractions like a small zoo, cultural exhibits, and dining options, making it more than just an observation tower. The staff were courteous and the facilities well maintained, ensuring a smooth experience. KL Tower is not just about the height; it’s about experiencing Kuala Lumpur from an entirely new perspective. Truly unforgettable.

IT's one of the most iconic landmarks in Kuala Lumpur and an absolute must-visit for anyone visiting the city. Standing above the skyline, offers 360° panoramic views across the entire city and beyond. The structure itself is Impressive and offers the best views - reccomend to visit at sunset! The interior is not that impressive but offers some history , a sweets shop and some souvenir shops. For those seeking a bit more adventure and not afraid of heights, the Sky Deck and Sky Box are the place. Couple of extra floors up. Stepping into the glass box suspended high above the ground gives an adrenaline rush while also giving the opportunity for some incredible photos. Overall a great place to visit. Unfortunately, to get back downstairs was a nightmare as they had just 1 lift working so we wasted about 30 min of our lives there queueing to get out. Would have appreciated some more attention to this detail and maybe a small cafe to kill that waiting time. With love, K @iam.krisztina

I got the combo ticket that included both the Sky Terrace and the Observation Deck at KL Tower. After enjoying the open-air breeze and the stunning, wide-open city view from the Sky Terrace, I honestly regretted getting the combo. the Sky Terrace alone was more than enough! The view of Kuala Lumpur from up there was absolutely breathtaking.
JW K — Google review
Also known as the KL tower, this telecom structure has a 360 degree viewing platform. Views in all directions are clear and very interesting. There are far more parks and woodlands in KL than ground level exploring reveals. The city is almost surrounded by beautiful wooded mountains.
Glenn H — Google review
World’s seventh tallest observation tower, built in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city. It provided a 360 degree view of the city. Visitors can overlook the famous patrons towers, financial tower among other attractions. The tower is more than 100 meters tall and the elevator takes around a minute to reach. They’ve three floors, glass covered deck, outdoor deck and glass bottom box. You’d encounter buildings covered in clouds during rainy days. There’s a shuttle bus taking visitors from the entrance gate to the tower base. The tickets are available at counter available for purchase with either card or digital payment, no cash payment allowed as they’re now cashless. However, you can grab it at a discount of 10 RM if you buy online one day in advance. There’s a couple of food options at the base and an open lawn for you to relax. The hop on hop off bus stop is right outside the lawn and taxi pick service is available too.
Sagar K — Google review
Visited the observation deck and the revolving restaurant for high tea. The view of the city and the hills was good before a thunderstorm rolled in and everything just turned white. Being inside a storm was awesome, the tall building was a lightening conductor and I saw it get struck several times. Highly recommend!

With over 1900 trees, including various species of palms and indigenous flora, the park was carefully designed to attract local and migratory birds while promoting biodiversity. I really like the concept of this park, a beautiful green space right in the middle of the city. No wonder it has become such a popular tourist attraction. Its location is very strategic and easy to reach. The park is also super kid-friendly, with a playground and pools that are completely free to use. A perfect place for families to relax and enjoy nature amidst the city life.

A beautiful park right in front of the Petronas Towers .it’s incredible to see a fountain show set against the backdrop of towering skyscrapers in the heart of the city. The park is super well-maintained, easy to access, and has plenty of spots to sit and relax. Grabbing a coffee from Suria Mall and watching the fountain show here was the perfect way to unwind and refresh.
JW K — Google review
Definitely worth your time to walk around the park. Take lots of pictures of the plants and trees. Water fountain display turned on about mid afternoon and was pretty good. Large park for children and wading pool. Amazing sitting in the middle of gigantic buildings and feeling comfortable. Enjoyed a couple of beers, sitting down and people watching.

An awesome, really well-kept park—super green and full of trees. There are plenty of benches where you can sit and relax. It’s the perfect spot to just hang out. And if you’re into running, there’s a jogging track laid out all around, which I’m pretty sure was designed just for that. It’s also a great spot to catch a different view of the Petronas Towers. If you’re bringing kids along, there’s a splash park where they can have tons of fun, plus a playground to keep them entertained.

Very beautiful park in the middle city of Kuala Lumpur. Especially when you come to this downtown park on a sweltering afternoon. The clear fountain lake winds through the lush tropical greenery, bringing a sense of coolness and calm. Whether you sit down for a short rest or take a leisurely stroll, the whole place feels wonderfully comfortable.

Green atmosphere, green air, freshing. They also operate a running show here the day I’ve came. Very comfortable while you step your foot in here. Great view, huge campus

The playground at KLCC Park is one of the best in Kuala Lumpur! It’s huge, well-maintained, and filled with a wide variety of play equipment like slides, swings, climbing structures, and bridges. Right next to it, there’s also a wading pool where kids can splash around safely, which makes it even more fun. The area is surrounded by trees, so it feels shady and cool even during the day. Parents can sit on benches around the playground while keeping an eye on their kids. What’s even better—it’s completely free! This is a perfect spot for families visiting KLCC, especially if you want your kids to play and burn some energy after exploring the city. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists with children.

The aquarium is well maintained, clean, and the display tanks are very impressive. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making the visit even more comfortable. It was not only fun for the children but also educational, because they could learn about marine life while watching it up close. Overall, it was a happy and memorable trip for us. Definitely a recommended place to visit in KL, especially for families with kids.

This place has been around since I was in primary school, and now that I already have a kid, it’s still the same. Honestly, nothing much has changed. Price 💵💳 Ticket price is RM48 on weekends and RM44 on weekdays. You can buy tickets online, and they also have a combo ticket for 2 parents and 1 child. The entrance line can be long whether you buy online or walk in, you’ll still queue in the same lane. For online tickets, you’ll need to show proof with your MyKad and MyKid. Babies under 2 years old enter for free. Environment 🪼 The place isn’t very spacious, but there are plenty of fish to see. Facilities are okay, but they could really use some improvement because nothing seems to have changed in decades. Parking🚗🚕🚙 For parking, you can park at Suria KLCC and walk through the connecting link between Suria KLCC and Traders Hotel. If you’re at Suria, find the Maybank inside n next to it, there’s a passage that connects directly to Aquaria. Alternative Parking🚗🚕🚙 Alternatively, you can park at the Traders building itself and go up to Level C, or at UOA Open Parking which is about a 5-minute walk away. It’s easy to spot, and parking there costs RM10 per day.

We visited Aquaria KLCC on 29 October, myself, my mom, siblings, and their kids. We had a great time overall! The kids were really entertained, and we truly enjoyed the exhibits and the entire walkthrough. Just to share some feedback for future visitors, I noticed on the website it says the elevator is under maintenance until further notice. Since Im not too familiar with the layout, I thought it referred to the escalator near the entrance. We purchased our tickets online through Klook as planned, but upon arrival, the staff kindly explained that the elevator issue meant we would need to use the stairs between floors. Unfortunately, we had strollers with us, and there were no lockers to keep them, so we had to carry them by hand. Not really a big problem, but it would be super helpful if the website announcement included a photo or a short note explaining which elevator is affected, that way, parents or elderly visitors can plan ahead. Also, a huge thank you to the team for their kindness! Especially the lady near the escalator and Danial at the entrance, they were both incredibly helpful and understanding when I accidentally scanned one extra ticket (for my dad who didnt join the trip). They handled it very professionally and made the whole experience smooth. Despite the small inconvenience, we loved our visit and will definitely come back again for the in adventure!

The aquarium is well organised and clean, with a good flow from one zone to another. The underwater tunnel was the highlight, walking through it while sharks and stingrays glide above is an amazing sight. The staff were friendly and helpful. The environment is fully air-conditioned, which makes it a comfortable stop in the city. It’s also stroller and wheelchair-friendly and easy to access from Suria KLCC or the Convention Centre. It can get a bit crowded during weekends, but visiting early in the day helps. Overall, it’s a great place to learn about marine life and spend about one to two hours in Kuala Lumpur. Definitely worth visiting!
ZHENG C — Google review
Had a wonderful time at Aquaria KLCC! The entire place is beautifully maintained and gives you a magical underwater experience. From colourful fishes to sharks, stingrays, jellyfish and many unique species, every section is truly fascinating. The 90-meter tunnel walkway was the highlight — it really feels like walking under the ocean! The ambience is calm, the exhibits are well-organised, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect spot to visit with family, friends, or your partner, and you can easily spend 1–2 hours exploring everything. What I didn’t like: The food court outside didn’t have good vegetarian options, which was a little disappointing. Also, the photos they click inside are quite expensive, so keep that in mind before purchasing. Overall, it’s still a must-visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur if you love marine life and want a relaxing, fun experience. Worth visiting at least once!

The experience was truly worthwhile and will definitely be coming back again! To those who are interested, I recommend going when you or multiple of your family members are celebrating your birthday on that month to get FREE ENTRY. Not just recommended for tourists, but also for locals. The place is undescribable and you'll definitely want to come again after your first visit. Also, best to visit during weekdays because it's always a full house here for sure, especially on the weekends.

My recent visit to the aquarium was a short but incredibly positive experience, providing a much-needed break from the everyday hustle. The highlight was standing in front of the massive ocean tunnel tank. For a few minutes, everything else melted away. The deep, calming blue of the water and the graceful, silent movement of the stingrays gliding by felt truly meditative.

The aquarium in the center of Twinter has many uniquely shaped and bold tanks that really caught my attention. You can see impressive fish like Biracle and Villania from various angles, making the whole experience feel like a little adventure. It’s a fun and exciting place, and I truly recommend visiting it.

The Central Market, also known as Pasar Seni, is a significant cultural site in Kuala Lumpur. It has evolved from a traditional wet market into a vibrant destination that reflects Malaysia's diverse cultural influences. The market features distinct sections representing Malay, Indian, and Chinese heritage where visitors can find local products like souvenirs and arts and crafts. Additionally, the upper floor houses a food court offering local delicacies. Outside the market, visitors can enjoy street performances and musical shows.
The Central Market is a great place to visit! It has a wide variety of products and everything is well organized and beautifully displayed. I really enjoyed walking around and exploring all the different sections. It’s clean, vibrant, and has something for everyone. Highly recommended!

Central Market is a well-known cultural landmark in Kuala Lumpur, offering a glimpse into Malaysia's rich heritage. The building itself is charming, with its Art Deco architecture and air-conditioned interior, making it a comfortable stop during a city tour. Inside, you'll find a variety of shops selling local crafts, souvenirs, and traditional attire. It's a good place to pick up unique gifts or support local artisans. The atmosphere is relaxed compared to other busy markets, providing a more laid-back shopping experience. However, the market can feel a bit commercialized, with many stalls offering similar items. Some visitors might find the selection repetitive or geared more towards tourists. Additionally, the food court, while convenient, doesn't stand out in terms of variety or quality. In summary, Central Market is worth a visit if you're interested in Malaysian culture and crafts, but it might not offer the authentic market experience some travelers are seeking.

Ok this is a tourist trap but not bad value. Use the food court on the first floor but beware the restaurants will charge service fee 10%. Shopping is good and the food stalls outside sell a nice variety. DO NOT take a taxi from here it will be expensive, worst case use grab, the pickup area is marked.

The market’s interior is clean, organized, and filled with vibrant stalls offering batik clothing, handmade jewelry, wood carvings, and local art pieces. The atmosphere is lively, attracting both tourists and locals who enjoy exploring cultural treasures. Food options are also available, featuring local snacks and drinks that complement the shopping experience. Overall, it’s a must-visit place for experiencing authentic Malaysian culture, craftsmanship, and creativity in one location.

Location - Walkable distance from train station. There are food joints at the side the mall selling fusion & local food. Varieties - Love the mall, so many artistic items , from clothes to artefacts. Amenities- Toilet cost you 50cent per trip, it was clean for local standards. Food - Not too appealing for me on the food choices within the mall. Will be back soon....

Central Market is a must-visit for unique souvenirs and local handicrafts. Clean, well-organized, with a charming heritage vibe. Even I, as a Malaysian, bought a fridge magnet for myself! I usually collect them from other countries when I travel, so it feels right to collect one from my own country too 🥰😍

A must visit place for all the tourists. I loved it. The newly touched look is awsome. Existing since 1888. Central Market (known locally as Pasar Seni) is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most successful architectural "glow-ups." It transformed from a gritty, functional wet market into an Art Deco cultural jewel. Today, it is considered a Heritage Site, loved not just for its history, but for being a "Insta-worthy" pastel landmark in a city of grey concrete.

KL Bird Park is a 173-acre paradise in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, featuring thousands of colorful birds in free-roaming areas, walk-through aviaries, and traditional enclosures. It is part of the Perdana Botanical Gardens and offers various attractions such as the Orchid Garden, Deer Park, Butterfly Park, and Islamic Art Museum.
It was such a nice experience being here. For those with kids, I really recommend bringing them along, they’ll have lots of fun activities to do and get to see so many different bird species. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tricky if you arrive after 10 am. The staff are super friendly and helpful 👍🏼 and there are two gift shops, one at the entrance and another inside the bird park 👍🏼
Hidayah M — Google review
It's one of the world biggest aviary as per their claim. Having a good variety of species. Flamingos and peacocks are the major attractions. Nothing like a magnificent spot that you should not miss. If you are visiting KL with Kids you can consider spending 1 hour here. It is difficult to walk through the park during summer in KL due to extreme hot weather.
Ebin J — Google review
We visited the bird park on a weekend and encountered very moderate crowds. The park is spacious enough to accommodate a lot of visitors, so I’d come back on a weekend as well. Please note that you’re not allowed to bring food into the park. Anything larger than a small bag pack may trigger a conversation with the security guard at the entrance gate as well. After a brief discussion, we were asked to bring the water we just bought at the kiosk at the entrance into the park. Please note that these restrictions are in place to protect the wildlife in the park. In the past, too many morons have fed them things that made birds severely sick or even killed them. The park is very well walkable with a stroller, with a few steps that may force you to take a detour. Please note that there are inclines, though. So if you’re pushing a wheelchair better have a good breakfast… The bird show at 10:30 am and 15:00 pm is worth watching. Very entertaining, not too long, and with some nice tricks to be shown. There are other events scheduled every day, so please check their latest event time table to not miss out on interesting events.

My mum and I are visiting from Australia, and since she absolutely loves birds, I had to bring her to KL Bird Park and we’re so glad we came! We both loved it. It was quite a hot day during our visit, and there isn’t much shade around, so we took a few breaks to sit down and rest, but that didn’t take away from the experience. There are so many incredible birds to see here, you could easily spend around 3 hours exploring. You can watch my POV experience video below, see @bhav.xo for more Our favourite part was definitely the parrot area! We both dressed in bright, colourful outfits, which I highly recommend doing, it makes the experience even more fun when the parrots fly over to you. Feeding them was such a highlight; they sit on your arms, shoulders, and even your head! It’s completely safe, and their claws didn’t damage our clothes at all. The entire park is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. It also wasn’t as crowded as I expected, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I honestly wish more people would visit, it’s such a beautiful, peaceful, and interactive place to connect with nature. Overall, KL Bird Park is a must-visit in Kuala Lumpur, especially if you love animals or want a unique, wholesome experience to share with family.
Bhavninder S — Google review
Visiting Birb Park feels like stepping into a living orchestra of birds. As soon as i enter, i’re greeted by the sound of soft coos, bright tweets, and the occasional squawk from a bold parrot. The park’s paths wind through shaded trees and open ponds, where ducks glide lazily across the water and tiny finches dart between branches. People stroll quietly, some with cameras, others just sitting on benches watching the “birds” go about their day. There’s a sense of calm connection — a reminder that nature’s beauty is often small, fast-moving, and full of personality.
Gobi N — Google review
Had a 3 hours visiting the bird park. It is very spacious and has a big open area for most birds like pheasants, doves and pidgeons. There are little shops for refreshment within the park and clean toilets. It’s only 4 stars since some of the cages for certain birds are really small and in my opinion not really big enough or fit for the birds living in them. Also there was an eagle but it was bound to a pole and basically couldn’t move or fly at all which is quite sad.
Wai C — Google review
Excellent visit. Good for both children and elders... Over 3000 varities of birds are there as per their information. We can see plenty of Peacocks walking around freely, sometimes near us. Please play safely and keep the area and environment clean.

It's a popular spot for tourists seeking an authentic culinary experience. In addition to the vibrant food scene, visitors can explore nearby attractions such as Pudus ICC hawker food centre and Connaught garden food market accessible by Uber.
The perfect place for those who want to try Asian street food and more. The street is not long but it is lined on both sides with dozens of restaurants and mobile stands selling delicious food. It is a very interesting mix of light, color, and crowd. I would stay there for a week or even longer, to taste everything!

Everyone said this was the food street of KL and there was lots of food there.. But I would struggle to return, loud, dirty, bright flashing signs everywhere and quite a few rats on the side streets by the overflowing bins. Did find a OK place to eat, probably one of the better ones but would not return. A lot of the food appeared to be mass produced food for the masses and not that authentic. Did and would recommend choosing a quieter 'more local' eatery.

The Putra Mosque is a magnificent Islamic architectural masterpiece located in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Built from colored granite in 1999, it features an impressive pink dome and can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers. The mosque consists of a courtyard, prayer hall, and other facilities such as event halls and educational rooms. Surrounded by water features that create a stunning visual effect during sunrise or sunset, the mosque's design reflects a blend of graceful Middle Eastern and traditional Malay styles.
One of the most beautiful mosques I’ve ever visited! The architecture is absolutely stunning — a perfect blend of modern design with traditional Islamic elements. The pink dome and lakeside location make it very unique and peaceful. The mosque is well maintained, clean, and very welcoming for both locals and tourists. There’s a large prayer hall with excellent facilities, and the management is very organized. Non-Muslim visitors also have access with proper arrangements, which shows the spirit of inclusiveness. The surrounding area is equally beautiful with the lake, gardens, and Putrajaya city views — perfect for photography. Parking is convenient, and there are also nearby food options. If you’re visiting Putrajaya or even Kuala Lumpur, this place is a must-see. It’s not only a spiritual experience but also an architectural landmark of Malaysia.

Visited the Pink Mosque (Putra Mosque) in Putrajaya and it honestly took my breath away! The place is huge and beautifully designed — the interior is spacious, peaceful, and filled with stunning Islamic architecture. The soft pink domes and intricate patterns make it one of the most unique and elegant mosques I’ve ever seen. The maintenance and cleanliness are excellent, everything feels very well cared for and organized. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially in guiding visitors on proper etiquette. For ladies, robes are provided at the entrance to ensure respectful attire before entering — it’s a nice touch and makes the experience inclusive for everyone. The atmosphere is calm and serene, perfect for quiet reflection or just appreciating the beauty of the design. The soft pink tones and impressive structure really make it stand out as a landmark mosque in Malaysia. Definitely a must-visit spot in Putrajaya — whether you’re there to pray, sightsee, or simply admire the architecture, it’s an unforgettable experience!

This is popular Putra Mosque, located at the heart of Putrajaya, stands as one of Malaysia’s most iconic landmarks. Renowned for its stunning and unique architecture, the mosque beautifully blends modern Islamic design elements with Persian and Malay influences. The soft pink hue of its main dome and the intricate carvings along its walls make Putra Mosque one of the most beautiful mosques in the region. The main prayer halls are exceptionally spacious, accommodating a large number of male and female worshippers at the same time. Each area is equipped with air conditioning, ensuring maximum comfort for congregational prayers and major religious events.

Rising majestically from the shores of the serene Putrajaya Lake, Masjid Putra stands as a breathtaking symbol of Malaysia’s Islamic faith and architectural ambition. More than just a place of worship, this magnificent pink-domed mosque is a cornerstone of tourism in the nation's intelligent garden city, offering visitors a profound experience of peace, beauty, and cultural grandeur. Its strategic location adjacent to the Prime Minister’s office complex and the striking Putra Perdana precinct underscores its central role in the modern identity of Malaysia. The mosque’s design is a masterful blend of traditional and modern influences, primarily drawing inspiration from Persian and Mughal architectural styles. The most striking feature is its immense rose-tinted granite dome, the colour symbolising serenity and creating a warm, welcoming glow, especially at sunset. Flanking this central dome is a 116-meter-high minaret, one of the tallest in the region, whose design echoes the minaret of the Sheikh Omar mosque in Baghdad. The main prayer hall is equally impressive, adorned with intricate calligraphy and geometric patterns, and capable of accommodating over 15,000 worshippers. For tourists, a visit to Masjid Putra is a multi-sensory journey. The sheer scale of the structure is awe-inspiring from the outside, but the true tranquillity is found within its courtyards and by its reflective pools. Non-Muslim visitors are welcomed outside of prayer times and provided with modest attire to ensure respectful entry. The interior offers a cool, quiet sanctuary, where the play of light through stained-glass windows illuminates the rich carpets and detailed craftsmanship. Many choose to take an angkasawan (a small boat) onto the lake to capture the perfect photograph of the mosque’s stunning reflection on the water’s surface. A trip to Putrajaya is incomplete without witnessing Masjid Putra. It is not merely a photo opportunity but an invitation to appreciate Malaysian culture and spirituality. Whether admiring its Persian-inspired façade, enjoying the calm of its surroundings, or simply marvelling at its harmonious integration with the lake and cityscape, the mosque leaves an indelible impression of grace and majesty, making it an unmissable highlight for any visitor to Malaysia.

The mosque is very well maintained, clean, and organized. The staff and volunteers are friendly and respectful, always ready to guide visitors and ensure modest attire. It’s not only a place of worship but also a symbol of Malaysia’s rich Islamic culture. Watching the sunset from the mosque courtyard was a magical experience that I will never forget. The Alamanda Shopping Centre is an energetic shopping complex that boasts a vibrant outdoor fountain, various stores and dining options, a cinema, and bowling alley. The architecture of the building showcases an impressive artistic design that sets it apart from other malls. Visitors can find everything they need in one place – ranging from electronic devices to groceries, clothing to restaurants. Additionally, the mall provides convenient amenities such as elevators and well-maintained restrooms for visitors' comfort.
the revival of the old mall is great! i love that it’s still relevant after all these years. The bowling alley is under construction, and the old GSC location has been transformed into TGV. Some of new shops are Chagee, Fana, Oiso, Escape Park, Syedewa kiosk. New additional shop that is still under construction are 'Oriental Kopi', KKV, the Colorist. The plaza(the lowest floor near parking drop off) has already opened, featuring places like Chicken Rice Shop, Nando's, Seoul Garden, and Dubuyo. However, there’s still no Pos Laju onsite since the place was transformed, and the lift now connects Level P and Level 1. One additional thing I like about the upgrade is the government kiosk under the escalator in front of Parkson on Level 2, behind the lift. Fingers crossed it will be maintained well and won't break down for a long time.

A great shopping mall for putrajaya residence. Still a great place to eat and window shopping. It stood the test of time quite well since the opening of the IOI mall and its second expansion. The mall is decent size so seniors wouldnt have much time walking. Lots of restaurants and the food court have a diverse selection. Apparently there's a lot of renovation and upgrade happening as of late. So the mall could be better in the future In the center court there's often event happening. Video is from 12th july 2025.

Came for a quick 30 mins shopping trip, ended up spending another 45 mins trapped in the parking. Lousy management! No lights, dark and creepy.. perfect if you enjoy horror vibes
Vinc — Google review
horrible experience with parking. Some renovation work at the roof top parking and cars are stuck for more than one hour now unable to exit. Called the office twice only to be told to call the parking office and some excuses about management not available etc. Very poor management! Saturday 1st Nov 2025

It's not crowded. There are many shops. I haven't got the chance to explore and see all. Hope to return and find pretty dresses and house decorations.

Seri Wawasan Bridge

Bridge
Sights & Landmarks
Jambatan Seri Wawasan is a modern bridge located in Putrajaya, Malaysia. It features dramatic, asymmetrical architecture and color-changing lights that make it a picturesque spot for sightseeing and photography. The bridge is surrounded by several other tourist attractions including the Agricultural Heritage Park, PJ Government Centre, Putra Mosque, Putra Perdana, and Putra Square.
You can’t see the full shape of this bridge from here. You need to go further to get a better view. If you’re planning to visit this bridge, it’s more about enjoying the panoramic view of Putrajaya. From here, you can see the Steel Mosque, the Putrajaya Pink Mosque, the Prime Minister’s Office, and even the memorial tower—all in one glance!
Jonghoon L — Google review
It’s a nice short stop to take a breather and snap some pictures. During public holidays, cars tend to park along the first lane, so be cautious, especially if you’re not familiar with the Putrajaya area. Underneath the bridge, there’s a beautiful view and a park where you can walk, jog, or cycle. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a great view of the fireworks.

Seri Wawasan Bridge is beautiful in night . Really really quiet & peaceful in night. You can enjoy with your friends. Putrajaya has really beautiful night places.

A very beautiful bridge. Since we took the train to Putrajaya, we could walk slowly and enjoy it. We even walked far away to take a complete picture of the bridge. We can also see the floating mosque in the distance on the bridge, which is great for taking photos👍.

Beautiful spot, especially at night! You can walk or rent a bicycle from the bottom of the bridge at Ayer@8, there are plenty of options available. It’s a great place to move around and enjoy the views around the lake. Peaceful atmosphere and perfect for a relaxing evening.
Adilah B — Google review
It is a beautiful bridge. The structure design is amazing and very impressive.

This bridge is nice to look at. Great sail architecture
Serdar — Google review
One of 8 bridges, maybe 9 or 10 if you count the pdestrian and monorail bridge under construction, i believe, in the Putrajaya lake precincts. I wish they built a bicycle path at both ends rather than have us walk our bicycles up and down this bridge. The walkway down at the Precinct 8 end of this bridge is quite steep. The bridge lights up at night offering a spectacular photo!

Broga Hill 1st Hilltop

Hiking area
Nature & Parks
Geologic Formations
Sunset & sunrise viewing is popular on this grassy hill with panoramic valley views.
A more challenging hiking trail that attracts adventure seekers and nature lovers alike. Certain sections require strength and skill, making it an exciting trek for those looking for a bit of a challenge. Despite this, it remains a popular spot for young hikers. Nearby, a lively town offers a variety of delicious local food, drawing bikers and cyclists who stop by for a break. With fresh air and breathtaking mountain views at the top, this trail is a fantastic choice for an active day out with family and friends.

Wear full length covering, the shrubbery here is no joke. The new path is steep but safe, great hike to see the sunrise and feel the morning breeze flowing into the scenic Briga/Semenyih valley. Grab a refreshing coconut ice shake and a satisfying bowl of noodles right after your descent! (Thank me later ;)

🥾 The first peak of Broga Hill stands at approximately 400 meters (1,312 feet) above sea level and is the most popular photo spot, offering stunning panoramic views of lush greenery and misty morning skies — especially during sunrise. 🌾 Unlike most forested hills in Malaysia, the summit is uniquely covered in lalang grass (tall cogon grass) instead of dense trees, giving it a distinctive open and scenic look that draws hikers and Instagrammers alike

Nice place and short drive from KL. A good weekend outing to get refresh yourself. I went on 25/12/2020 and in the entrance they placed a notice saying entry ie closed from June 2020 yet lot of people going in. So we followed them and roads a bit rusty as it closed for months. But had a nice experience. Go to hill foot by 5 to 5:30 AM and trek takes give Or take 60 mins so that you can have nice and fresh air and sun rise. There are multiple ways lead to hill top and if you are trek enthusiast then there is a path where you need to a moderate climb(assisting ropes are available) Things to carry, torch/head light. Water(mostly they sell if hill is open for visitors but for us No as such as its closed for CMCO), and limited car parking. I heard that Usually they charge RM 1 + RM 1 but today we were charged us RM 10/pax by saying CMCO & SOP practicing. So prepare for that extra payment if you are planning in CMO time. And its definitely not a family outing place so avoid kids, elderly, who has issues with heart or knees issues and who don't appreciate the beauty of Nature. Attached some photos to convince you that, must visit one before you get 40. 😉
R G — Google review
Broga hill located at semenyih. During rmco need to pay rm1 per person for parking, rm1 per person for entrance fee. Need to scan temperature and write down detail before hiking. Weekends more people will go hiking, but we are lucky because we hike during weekday, and less people on weekdays. Some part not easy to hike, need to use rope to climb, we only manage to go until 2nd peak, no more stamina to go 3rd peak, maybe during mco we rest too much, so a bit lack of breath and stamina when we go hiking. Bring sufficient water to dehydrated yourself.
Prince F — Google review
Going up was alot easier than coming down. Good place to hike, not when it's raining tho. Some dogs are up on the second level but they're very tame and polite, perhaps bring along some food for them if anyone wants to hike up there's.

Good Service By Driver also comapany, first time using the transport service from this company, I have booked to take students from KLIA to Setia Alam, the driver is very reliable and always updates me about the journey and location when arriving at KLIA. the condition of the vehicle provided is also very comfortable and clean, very reliable. Service was great without any thing to complain. Had a 4hrs trip from Kuala-Lumpur to Pekan during night time: - on time - very friendly - fair price - safe ride I’ve got the same great service on the way back to the airport 5 days later. Price wise, for me the better option than renting a car and driving myself.

We've been using this service for quite some time. Reliable for advance booking and early morning pickup. Highly recommended for corporate airport transportation.
Proton M — Google review
This review is about the rude attendant who guides people to taxis. I went into the taxi platform looking for the Socar (short term car rental) location and the attendant yelled at me and said this was just for taxis, and proceeded to tell me to read instructions properly, go back to the counter, and he was busy with real customers, etc etc. This is not the kind of Malaysian hospitality I was expecting. Do not use this service!
Reza H — Google review
Never improve at all. The Grab service deserves to take over their market and they should not complain. Can you imagine, a limo taxi in airport, there is a gasoline tank at the back which you can’t put your luggage, isn’t a joke?. The limo taxi got smoking smell too. Bad impression to the tourist

Gateway@KLIA Terminal 2 is a modern mall located inside Kuala Lumpur International Airport, approximately 33 km from the city. It offers a variety of international stores and eateries, making it a convenient stop for tourists before they leave the city. The resort also provides free water sport activities such as kayaking and stand up paddle boarding for in-house guests, along with kid-friendly amenities like swings and games.
Amazing Experience at KLIA2 KLIA2 offers a modern and spacious environment with plenty of shops throughout the terminal. Boarding pass printing and baggage check-in are available via self-service kiosks, with helpful staff on hand to assist if needed. Flight information is clearly displayed on screens, and signage is placed throughout the terminal, making it easy to find the boarding gate. Free self-service trolleys are also available for added convenience. The airport is clean and well-maintained, with many toilets and prayer rooms (mosques), all free of charge. Overall, KLIA2 is a well-organised, efficient, and traveler-friendly airport.
Syed B — Google review
KLIA2 has been my go-to airport for both domestic and international flights, and every time I pass through, I’m reminded of how massive and modern this place is. The design is practical yet stylish, with wide walkways and plenty of natural light coming in, which makes the whole experience feel less stressful. One thing I really appreciate is the variety of shops, restaurants, and cafés. Whether you just want a quick coffee before boarding, a full meal, or even some last-minute shopping, you’ll definitely find something here. The duty-free section is huge, with a good selection of brands at competitive prices. I’ve even done some spontaneous shopping while waiting for my flight. The check-in and security process is generally smooth. Of course, during peak holiday periods, it can get crowded, but the staff usually handle the flow of people efficiently. I’ve noticed that self-check-in kiosks and baggage drop counters make things much faster compared to the old way. Another thing worth mentioning is the connection to public transport. KLIA2 is very well linked with the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit trains, which get you to the city in under an hour. It’s so much more convenient than worrying about traffic. There’s also plenty of options for buses, taxis, and e-hailing services right outside. Walking distances inside the terminal can be long—so if you have heavy bags or are traveling with elderly family members, do prepare for that. But at the same time, the walk is lined with shops and eateries, so it doesn’t feel boring. Cleanliness is another strong point. The toilets are well-maintained, and the prayer rooms are spacious and comfortable. I’ve also found the signage inside the terminal to be clear and easy to follow, which is great for first-time travelers. Overall, KLIA2 gives a good impression of Malaysia to travelers coming in for the first time. It’s modern, organized, and has all the amenities you’d expect from a major international airport. Personally, I always feel a sense of excitement flying in and out of KLIA2—it’s more than just an airport; it feels like the start of a journey.
Max L — Google review
KLIA is a big and spacious airport with many facilities and clear signage. However, finding the eRide pickup point can be a bit confusing at first, especially for new visitors. Once you get familiar with the layout, everything else runs smoothly. Overall, a good experience in a large international airport.

KLIA2 is a modern and well-designed airport with plenty of facilities for travelers. The layout is spacious, clean, and easy to navigate, with clear signage guiding you from check-in to boarding. There’s a great variety of dining and shopping options — perfect for both quick bites and last-minute souvenirs. Immigration and security are generally efficient, though queues can get long during peak hours. The terminal’s connection to Gateway@KLIA2 adds extra convenience for food, rest, and shopping. Overall, a pleasant travel experience — comfortable, functional, and a solid 4-star airport for both local and international flights.
The H — Google review
A smooth and straightforward experience at KLIA2. Security was a breeze – no queues at all and I was through in less than 5 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. The terminal is clean, well-organised, and easy to navigate, though don’t expect anything ultra-modern or luxurious. Airside, there’s not a huge variety of shops, but enough to pass the time. You’ll find the basics – a duty-free, a few chocolate and confectionery outlets, and some quick bites like Burger King and Kreate. Great if you’re after a snack or light meal before your flight. The terminal definitely focuses more on function than flair. One plus point is the amount of seating – plenty of space to relax near the gates without feeling crammed in. There’s also decent signage and helpful staff around if you need assistance. Ideal for budget airlines and quick getaways, KLIA2 isn’t flashy, but it’s efficient and gets you where you need to go without hassle.
I. M — Google review
KLIA2 is so badly designed without end consumers in mind. All if not regional airports in SEA provide charging stations which is for user’s convenience. Not KLIA2. They rather people use plug points for cleaners etc (that’s why you see people sitting on floors.) Also charging wall without any seat or table. Seriously what is wrong with you Malaysia Airports???? You keep ‘winning’ awards -but for what??? Awards don’t mean anything if you cannot get simple things right. I have to charge standing at empty counter which looks like an information desk/counter. Do your job right. You charge us passengers fees which is paid via the airline when we buy tickets. Do your part by providing proper professional service. Don’t just keep taking care of retailers.

KLIA2 is a classic low-cost terminal that was well-planned and executed to exude class despite having mostly low-cost airlines as tenants within its airport terminal premises. The terminal is split into two adjacent building - one is the main terminal where departures and arrivals and the other is tailored to shopping, food and beverage, KL city transfers and connections, layover accommodations like Aerotel as well as a resting area for passengers who seek for a hassle-free travel experience when departing from KLIA2. I was impressed with the sheer number of food outlets especially Paris Baguette and McDonald's which have halal-friendly menu and unique burgers that I cannot find in Singapore. Even the check-in process was as easy breeze as just walking into your apartment and having your keys as travel documents to check and verify to get yourself a boarding pass and a baggage tag if you have a baggage to check in. I was impressed with KLIA2's kiosk check-in because the boarding pass came was not flimsy and the printed fonts were very bright and clear. Baggage tag was easy to handle with as there are clear instructions on how to tag the checked in bag using the kiosk baggage tags. Simple as ABC. Even the toilets are well-maintained with highest cleanliness and hygiene. The airport signs are well-litted and clear in their directions. I will return here as a customer and I am very appreciative when comparing with the predecessor KLIA1. Kudos to KLIA2 operations and management

Visiting Seremban (outstation) and wanted to attend Sunset mass 23/8/2025. unfortunately there was no mass due to a seminar held at the Church.

Visitation Seremban is the oldest church in the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur and throughout its history, many priests and religious have come forth. The church also has many interesting shops surrounding it for your food, clothing and groceries needs. There are no other Catholic Churches in Seremban so this is the place to go throughout your stay for spiritual nourishment. The church is located in the heart of Seremban, so you can’t miss it.

Know about this Catholic Church when looking for attraction in Seremban and know that this church is quite a historical building. Building are maintained quite well and still looking astonishing for a hundred over years building. Passby and saw lot of people doing prayers and looked quite blessed. A beautiful and peaceful church at Seremban.

Did a quick stop by the Church of the Visitation, it was always 12afternoon when I visit yet the Sunday Sermon was still in session, so just took a few pictures and went off. The church itself was repainted (if I am not wrong) it looks more nicer now compared to ten years or more last time. It has those colonial design and consider a historical landmark in Seremban.

Heard this church has been around for over a century in Seremban Town. We came here for a friend 's son wedding ceremony. Though the building looks old, it has been well maintained. Probably, it has been given a 'face lift', and the end result is just great with the'brightly lit' ambience around. Looks like the fittings are still the original and are still in good condition.

Beautiful 18th century building with a prominent facade and a towering spire that's tall enough to make you wonder how they would have built it in that day and age. Peaceful holy vibes from this place.

Gunung Angsi is a jungle-clad mountain peak located in the Ulu Bendul nature park. It stands at 825m and boasts popular, steep hiking trails leading to its summit. The road leading to the entrance can be pitch black, but it is safe to park cars on the sides of the road. There is a mosque and toilet available for visitors. Hiking starts at different times depending on whether it's a weekday or weekend, with an entrance fee of RM5 per person.
The hiking is a bit challenging for beginners. Not suitable for raining season because will be slippery. Not so suitable for children as some of the steps quit high. Very nice scenery & natural view. Overall, very satisfy 👍🏻

Although the elevation gain is 827meters its not that taxing because of the 4km distance and thanks to the dense forest for shade and breeze. The ticket counter opens at 7:30am and its good time to start your hiking so that you can be back before lunch time. The view at the peak is not 360 due to trees but you can still have a look at the mountains.

Nice trails for a Sunday hike: we went up the hill from the Northern side, seems a very popular trail in good condition (when it is not raining). It took us about 2hs to reach the peak. After a little break we went back into the valley using the trail into North-East direction. The trail is a bit more difficult. To get back to the starting point we had to walk about two kilometres along the busy national road. In total, it took us around 5hs (2hs up, 3hs down), plus an additional hour for relax and recharge at the peak.

Muzium Diraja Istana Lama Seri Menanti

Temporarily Closed
Museum
Specialty Museums
This early-1900s palace built of timber without nails is now home to a royal museum.
Is it just me, or do you also feel that unique vibe when you enter a historical place? It gives you a special sense of connection to the location and all the significant events that might have happened there. The burden of the past, all the human emotions captured and stored in the place, creates an awe-inspiring feeling. I guess that's the first impression I get from this place. The Istana Lama Seri Menanti is stunning and over 100 years old. It showcases incredible local wood crafting abilities and skills, serving as a historic home for their ruler. By all odds, withstand the test of time. When you think about it, nowadays we often take for granted what we bring into the future. We can take photos and videos, hoping to preserve our memories. Back then, they had to build something with the hope that it would last a lifetime, which makes it even more special. We should be more appreciative of our history. If you're ever in the area, make sure to drop by and experience it for yourself.

One of the interesting museums in Malaysia. Learn about the administration of the Negeri 9 in the old Malay era and get to know the structure of the old palace. There is a cafe and many traditional games that we can play together as a family such as throwing slippers and coconut bowling.

Clean and tidy. Heritage of Negeri Sembilan Royal. Genuine art of wood construction. So beautiful vintage yellow gold. High recommend.

First of all, I would like to compliment the architecture of Minangkabau, especially the ones in N.Sembilan. I love to drive around the countryside of N.Sembilan, and in many occasions, I would stop to take pictures of the unique houses around the area. The Istana Seri Menanti is an excellent visit because it allows you to experience in real life the feeling of living in such a house. The museum ground also features a smaller house at the site. After all, the Istana is a palace. Ordinary people will not own such a large house. Therefore, the smaller place beside the Istana gives you a good sample to experience living in such a beautiful design. However, it would be great to see better preservation done on the Istana. Some of the roofing areas are severely aged. Some lighting might improve some of the darker corners. Also, if an illustration is drawn for explaining the different usage and functions of each room, it will significantly enhance the experience. I hope one day, some developer will develop houses like this in a new "Taman" setting. I don't mind living in one.

This is a great place to visit, historical place located in very peaceful Royal Town, Seri Menanti. This old palace now turn to Royal museum, 100% made from woods and timber and no nail are using to build this palace even a single nail. Only a few part of this huge palace open to public while the others part is still on renovations and the entrance are free. The best way to get to this place is by your own transport, no public transport available to this place.

If you are a history buff, this is a great place to go. Admission is free, there are plenty of parking spaces, and the museum is open to the public from Monday to Sunday, all day long. The toilet was clean

Pretty old palace, easy to locate, and entrance is free. Can learn and know the history behind the palace and Negeri Sembilan. Overall take half - one hours of tour. A coffee shop underneath the palace if you need a drink and a souvenir shop beside.

Step into the whimsical world of Alive 3D Art Gallery, a quirky and popular attraction in Port Dickson. This trick art museum features 50 interactive illustrations across five different theme zones, allowing visitors to pose and take photos within mind-bending optical illusion paintings and murals. From Adventure to Dark Art, talented artists from China have created an immersive experience where guests can touch, hug, and interact with the exhibits for unlimited photo opportunities.
It's a nice experience to visit this gallery. There are around 50 life like paintings. The best impact is from a certain angle, which is shown on the wall for reference. The cost might feel slightly on the higher side per entry. There are some souvenirs for purchase at the end. One has to open shoes to go in the gallery. The facility servers and ticket person were very friendly. Loved the experience. A group going in or a family going in will have more fun. Payment can be made via cash, QR, and / or cash Adequate parking is seen nearby.

Been here around five years ago it was so cool. Now it's not much. Almost unrecognizable because the greenery at the front facade is now gone. Inside, some arts are a bit damaged which spoiled the photo effect. Apart from the art gallery, there are carnival games, claw machines, souvenir stall and waffles stall as well.

An interesting place with 3D paintings for visitors to take photographs with. The staffs were friendly but didn't follow us to suggest how best to take photographs. We were left to investigate how to pose. Luckily there were some photographs on the wall that showed us how to pose for real life effect. It's a place worth visiting. Entrance ticket cost RM25 for adults, RM20 for senior citizens and children. We spent almost one hour there and came out satisfied with our photography results. Youngsters should be more imaginative and more flexible with difficult postures when taking pictures. There aren't many people on weekdays so taking pictures was easy.
Christine V — Google review
The entrance fees for Malaysian adult is RM 20 and for child is RM 15 (12 and below). It also offers combo package (3D Alive + Wild Wild West Indoor Theme Park). We just chose 3D Alive Gallery. It has 3 floors and there are about 50 pieces of 3D arts pictures to be actioned with. Just be ready with your camera! There's no staff to take your pictures, you have to take it by yourself. Some pictures have shining lines when the flash is on /bcoz of the lights in the room. Others are ok. Overall it is good to have this kind of entertainment around this area. Keep it up!
Fun A — Google review
It was quite fun here. We have take almost 1 hour to take photo inside and quite a lot of different 3D pic. After that, we have bought a fridge magnet which attached with out picture over there with RM18 for one. During the waiting period for our magnet, we went to nearby restoran to have our lunch. It was ready after we had our lunch.
Spark L — Google review
A must-visit for families, groups of friends and couples even! The only place I'd recommend to visit in Port Dickson as other places of attractions didn't seem that appealing. It was for me, worth the RM20 I paid. Photos turned out well too. The place is not that big. Just 3-storeys and you can expect to end your "tour" in about an hour (unless of course, u spent much time adjusting your positions in terms of capturing the shots - there are pointers in how to capture the best shots). Do check out this place!

The Army Museum Port Dickson is a must-visit attraction for history enthusiasts and photography lovers alike. Located in the district of Sirusa, this museum boasts an impressive collection of war-related artifacts, including army vehicles like tanks and fighter jets. Visitors can explore a subterranean tunnel that provides unique photo opportunities for social media.
I went here with my friends last week and we love this place. I really like how they maintain and preserve most of the artifacts. It was very well kept. A good place to drop by with kids where they can gain lots of historical knowledge. Also the ticket price is quite cheap at about RM2 per entry.

Limited parking within premises, so be there early. They open at 10 a.m. Tickets was RM 2 / adult. Beside the ticketing counter was a green screen backdrop for them to take your photo which will edited to the museum background, printed 1 large & 1 miniature sized for RM 60 as a souvenir, ready to collected when you leave. There were some decommissioned feet of planes, helicopters, armoured cars, artillery cannons, bikes, trains & monuments on display in the yard. Inside the gallery area is air conditioned with antique weapon of wars & historical narration on display. My first visit and is recommended place to visit.
CH Y — Google review
Really impressed by the place! Entry at RM2 for adult. Limited parking, just park by the road side or opposite the place at near residence area. The place is interesting with indoor displays of gallery and an underground walk of the CPM communist party of Malayan history. Many showcase of the weapons, war machines like tanks, helicopter, even train. Spent more than an hour at this place. If really keen into the history I think you can have 2 or more hours here.

Here’s a concise 200‑character review: Free entry with RM 2 fee since Jan 1 2025. Outdoor tanks, helicopters, military gear, indoor galleries on Malaysian Army history, plus a recreated tunnel. A fun, educational hidden gem.

Great place for learning, very under rated museum. They introduced and explanined alot about the ATM tha wasnt taught in history classes in school. Galleries were sectioned into few categories ranging from Melakan Sultanate, British and Dutch colonisation and also the Malayan troops. They also introduced the generals as well. Many weapons, artifacts, documents, tanks etc were showcased. It would be better if the poster had english explanations as i di see some foreign tourist struggling to understand without translation. Overrall recommended to visit esp with teene or young adults

P.D. Ostrich Show Farm, located at 9th mile along the Port Dickson beach road, offers a diverse range of attractions for animal lovers and adventure seekers. In addition to ostriches, visitors can encounter peacocks, jungle fowls, monkeys, and various farm animals in open paddocks shaded by large trees.
Had a pleasant visit and fun experience at 𝗣𝗗 𝗢𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺. Ostriches are the highlights where we get to touch and race with the Ostrich too. We can feed the farm animals such as cows, goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs and many more.  Kids enjoy the train ride, horse carriage ride and horse ride. This place is well maintained and staff is friendly too.

+ You can park for free, but spots are limited. + Adult admission is RM25, while children under 12 are RM20. Animal feed is available for purchase at RM9. + There are tons of fun family activities here like feeding animals, playing with guinea pigs and rabbits, riding a pony at Cowboy Place, cat's home, and checking out the dinosaur village. + It's not just for fun. this place educates us about animal life habitats. The staff will help you out with explanations. + Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. + If you wanna try Sate Ostrich, you can also order it at their Café. + The restroom is accessible. Additionally, there are ATV and archery activities, but I am unsure of their availability. It seems they may not be well maintained. The same goes for their herbal oasis. All in all, it's a fantastic spot for family fun when you're in Port Dickson. Don't forget to bring an umbrella since we'll be walking around in this open area.

One of the must-go destination when you are going holiday in Port Dickson. Although it is named "Ostrich Farm", there are also lots of animals such as guinea pig, farm animals, and even cats and dogs. There are even some events there such as Ostrich Race. Moreover, you can also hand-feed them, but you need to add on extra money to buy their foods. Overall, I had an enjoyable moment there. Recommended 👍

Quite different from the few years ago picture which shared on review. The farm doesnt seem to do so well. Anyway my kids enjoyed the farm since they grew up already. Great exposure for todays children. Desaru farmhouse seem to have better upkeep. Cant see myself to hit the 4th star.

Fun place to bring your kids! You can spend around 1 to 2 hours as the place is not that big. Theres ostrich, goats, snakes, rabbits, chickens, snakes, cats and dogs. Theres also a paid train ride. However it seems that some of the facilities are not well maintained. But still a great place to go! You can get the ticket at the counter.
Amin A — Google review
If you're benchmarking with other established park this will not be the place but if you have kids and 1-2 hours spare time, things could be fun and relaxing here.

Outer side looks rundown but thats what makes it looks less commercialised. We were greeted with a bunch of goats thats where we can exposed the children to the authentic farm smell. Next theres a few healthy looking ostriches and an instructor that was so dedicated with the knowledge of ostrich explained patiently to us about the farm animals. I can see the uncle really sayang her ostriches. My girl enjoy the feeding of animals a lot. There was a 11.30 show, added to the fun was a few excited children decided to race with the ostriches. Of course the ostrich won. On top of that i also do see 2 vet personnels were checking on the animals, can see well maintained. Highly recommended to children or to whoever that comes to PD. We spent about 1 hour plus here.

Cape Rachado Lighthouse

Cape Rachado Lighthouse, located within the 80-hectare Cape Rachado Forest Reserve, is a historic whitewashed lighthouse offering stunning views of the cape. The area has a rich history, with a naval battle between the Portuguese and Dutch armadas taking place in 1606. Since 1921, it has been a nature reserve and serves as an egg-laying site for turtles and a migratory bird stopover.
The main trail is asphalt Road. I would consider this walking, but the uphill is nice as plenty of people came here to exercise. The view of the lighthouse was beautiful, but unfortunately there wasn't a clear view of the ocean from the lighthouse as its surrounded by trees. Its well shaded, and even though we started late at 10:30 am it was not too hot (probably thanks to the rain earlier in the morning). Nevertheless its a nice relaxing walk.
Raphael W — Google review
A Peaceful Walk to the Lighthouse Walking through the forest trail to reach the lighthouse was truly a refreshing experience. The path itself is surrounded by beautiful greenery, and the air feels clean and calming, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination. Although I was a little disappointed that visitors are not allowed to enter the lighthouse (as the security staff mentioned), the walk itself made up for it. Along the way, you’ll find several hiking paths branching off into the forest, perfect if you enjoy exploring. One of these trails even leads down to a quiet beach, which adds an extra layer of adventure to the trip. The entire area is free of charge, which is a wonderful bonus for anyone looking for a relaxing outdoor activity without spending anything. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to enjoy nature, unwind, and take in the surroundings, even if the lighthouse itself remains off-limits.
Baron F — Google review
Not bad at all. Just very short walk to get to the light house, the view in photo. Walkway is properly tar also mostly covered with trees so it is very friendly to anyone even for the kids. Free entrance for now. Parking can be limited. Oh and there are so many beaches nearby, with different view. Happy exploring.
Nicexplore — Google review
Was not expecting a hike - about 700m or 800m to the lighthouse which ended up not being open. I encounted some monkeys on the way up which seem to be eating and minding its own business. There were multiple hiking trail that leads down to the beach. The light house was ordinary. Recommended to hiking fanatics.
WorstDad — Google review
For first timer, the view of the lighthouse is quite impressive. However, at the base on the lighthouse as per the view towards the horizon is just mediocre as it has been blocked by trees and branches. Was told 30 years ago, the view was stunning. There were no trees. Only rocks. Now the trees were overgrown.
Gary O — Google review
We came for hiking the jungle trail. It was quite tough with several uphill sections which will leave the average guy breathless. Going up the Batu Putih formation was quite a challenge as one has to pull oneself up using the ropes provided. Coming down was especially unnerving. But the scenery of the sea and during the walk was spectacular. The lighthouse was built in 1863 and was very nice. The walk started at Villea Hotel car park and took us more than 3 hours
Cher K — Google review
Great place for mini hiking (120 above ground level only). Elevated not too steep either. Distance less than 1km up the mini hill. There are few jungle trails, but we didn't try. Lighthouse was built in 1863. Very historical and meaningful. Too bad, can only view the lighthouse from outside.

Not a bad place. 4km detour from the tool. I didn't come here for shopping but rather just to kill a few hours before going to airport and lunch. Nice design and well kept quiet place on weekday working hours. Interesting point was the Coach shop in a b747 airplane.

We stop by this Outlet just by chance, as we were passing by on our way back from attending a wedding reception. Obviously, my wife just HAD to drop by... The Outlet Building was only one floor, but sprawled over quite a huge area. The design seemed to be of Dutch Colonial themed or inspired, and they looked quite magnificent. I was impressed by the giant windmill located in the centre, which was a major attraction for the visitors. There was also a carousel or merry-go-round, but was not patronized somehow. Most visitors appeared to be contented to just sitting around, soaking in the festive atmosphere... The Chinese New Year festive feeling was still in the air. Hence the patrons were mostly chinese families, who had come here as part of their holidays and celebrations. There was also a malay wedding ceremony happening at the Banquet Hall, with various mix of people attending the event. Other than that, I didnt see much shopping going on, or maybe it was because the CNY sale was already over?

The Melaka Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary, also known as Taman Rama-rama dan Reptilia Melaka, is a nature facility located just outside the city at Ayer Keroh. Spanning 11 hectares of jungle, it offers open-air exhibits including a butterfly aviary, various snake species, and a serene koi pond. Visitors can immerse themselves in the diverse flora and fauna of Malaysia while supporting local butterfly conservation efforts through their visit.
Came here on Sunday. First time here and was impressed and surprised by how well this place is organised. For the price of the ticket I think it is worth it. Other than butterflies, there are many species of birds, lizards, snake, tortoises, crocodiles, fish, and more. There are indeed a lot of butterflies. I have been to some other butterfly park but the butterflies here are the most abundant and they may come and rest on you (be sure not to harm them ya). Take some time to take some nice pictures. This place is shady and well ventilated. So the experience is not so bad. The park is clean too. You can buy some foods to feed the animals. And there are some shows too. Remember to check the timing. Overall, this is a very good park to come with young kids. It is located just near the exit of the Ayer Keroh toll. Highly recommended.

Absolutely one of the best parks I’ve visited! The butterfly room was a standout — butterflies freely fly around you, sometimes even landing on your hands or shoulders. It’s a beautiful and surreal experience unlike anything I’ve seen before. The entire sanctuary has a jungle-like atmosphere, with lush greenery and well-designed enclosures. It really feels like stepping into nature. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive vibe. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few stairs throughout the park, so it might be a bit tricky if you’re visiting with a stroller or carrying a baby. Overall, a wonderful place to explore with family — peaceful, immersive, and full of surprises!
Lazizbek E — Google review
The entrance fee for Malaysians is RM32 per adult, and there’s usually no queue. What makes this place interesting is that it features a variety of animals, almost like a mini zoo. Friendly staff are available to explain more about the animals and insects, making it a fun and educational experience. You can even feed some of the animals for an additional RM8, which covers the cost of the animal food. On average, visitors spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring the entire area.

Had a nice experience here overall. I was expecting to see more butterflies since it’s called a butterfly park, but there weren’t as many as I imagined. Still, it’s a pleasant place to visit, especially if you’re bringing kids. The environment is calm, educational, and great for a short family outing. It takes about 2 hours to tour the whole place, so it’s just nice for a relaxed visit.
