A Fantastic Day at Dolphin Cove in Montego Bay Our visit to Dolphin Cove in Montego Bay was such a memorable experience! From the start, the staff was welcoming and made everything easy and enjoyable. It’s clear they care deeply about the dolphins and their guests, and that energy carried through the entire day. One of the highlights, aside from the incredible dolphin interactions, was meeting Marice in the gift shop. She was so kind and helpful, with a great eye for recommending thoughtful souvenirs. Her warmth and genuine interest in making sure we found just the right items really stood out and added a personal touch to our visit. The dolphin swim itself was amazing—getting up close with such intelligent and playful animals was a dream come true. The trainers were knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their work, which made the experience even more special. Dolphin Cove is a perfect blend of fun, learning, and relaxation. Whether you’re there for the dolphins or just soaking in the atmosphere, the staff truly makes it a place worth visiting. It was a day we won’t soon forget! PS. Buy photos in advance it’s worth it!!!!

This was absolutely the best part of our trip. We love the dolphin Cove swimming with the dolphins. 🐬 such a great experience the birdcages, the ostrich, the sharks, the Monteray the dolphins were the best. They are so precious and they take such good care of them here. I was so impressed ! Thank you so much to our dolphin trainer Sheldon he was so great with the dolphins and with our group of people that had small children. Patient kind and was great experience for everybody.

I had a wonderful experience. Dolphins was amazing. Birds was beautiful. I didn’t like that we bought a photo package each 77$ a person (3 people) and they only wanted to send the photos to one person. After a little back and forth and explaining we spent over 600$ including the tickets to get into dolphin cove we should be able to get our pictures sent to us individually. Other than that the experience was amazing. Trainers was excellent with each animal they was in charge of especially Fritzgald (dolphin trainer) and the lifeguard was on hand and at my side because I was scared. Food was good and had alot of choices of food to choose from.
Queen — Google review
We had a great time. Veronica took the best pictures to capture the moment. Thank you to Nordia for being the bet trainer ever. I am sure we’ll return.
Ashley W — Google review
Christopher and “noidea” were so amazing!!! Our dolphin encounter was absolutely unforgettable. The experience was organized perfectly from start to finish, and the dolphins were incredible to interact with. What really made the day special were our two tour guides who were so friendly, funny, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made everyone feel comfortable and excited, sharing fun facts and keeping the energy high the whole time. Easily one of the best excursions we’ve ever done.

Very chaotic to gain entrance. One person to process all guests. WiFi very poor could not connect to get access to online tickets. Once in a very enjoyable time had by all. Food of a good quality
Caz P — Google review
This was an amazing experience. We did the royal package. Oakley was our trainer and he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Our dolphin friends were Miguel and Alex. Miguel is now my new best friend. I loved meeting the dolphins! Great photos of an amazing experience with the dolphins. Viewing and downloads were easy and user friendly. Veronica was so very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!?

Mayfield Falls & Mineral Springs - Original

Nature & Parks
Natural rock climbing area
Waterfalls
Mayfield Falls & Mineral Springs is a captivating natural attraction nestled in the mountains of Jamaica, offering a serene and rejuvenating experience for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can immerse themselves in the healing mineral spring waters and explore two waterfalls, numerous water pools, and charming gazebos set against breathtaking backdrops. This crowd-free oasis allows guests to climb into the cool river surrounded by lush bamboo thickets, swim through an underwater tunnel, and enjoy the invigorating natural Jacuzzi created by the falls.
Visit this spot! It’s so amazing - we think it’s much much better than Dunns River. It’s more off the beaten path but less touristy and a true glimpse of Jamaica’s beauty. We had a taxi take us from Grand Palladium and then a local Mayfields guide - Shane - walked us through the falls. He was so fun and knowledgeable. He was one of the best guides we’ve ever had on any tour ever. We 100% recommend!
Jacqlyn B — Google review
It is a beautiful waterfall. Our guide was wonderful. The grounds ambiance is very welcoming. The only downside to the trip experience is getting there. The road conditions could be better than what they are right now.
George O — Google review
Bring water shoes!!! Our only annoyance was having to pay $7 each to rent icky torn up water shoes on top of the $25 entry fee. You can’t do the excursion without and wish we read about this in advance. The experience itself was great. Our guide Dave was friendly and welcoming and took nice photos of us during the hike. Request him. The waters were cool and refreshing and it was a nice day away from the bustling beach. We didn’t run into anyone else at all during our hike so it felt very special. Our legs were quite sore the next day so we definitely needed this little workout!
Jasmine R — Google review
When I say Dave was such a phenomenal guide, that is understatement. From making sure we had anything we requested from fresh pineapple and coconut water, it was prepared. Us having fun and our safety was is top priority. Last he knew how to capture all our meaningful moments while doing excursion. I would highly recommend this activity and Dave.
Taca — Google review
We had a fantastic time hiking the waterfall. Our guide was super attentive and friendly! We did have a slight problem with mosquitoes, just something to be aware of. Our guide took wonderful pictures for us as well!

Magical, Unique, and Forever in My Heart I’ve been coming to Jamaica since I was a kid, and now at 40, I can confidently say that Mayfield Falls is one of the most magical and unique places on the island. No matter how many times I visit, I’m always in awe. The spiritual and breathtaking nature walk through the river is like nothing else — it’s peaceful, healing, and full of natural beauty. Every step feels like a reset for the soul. And the food! There’s a lady who has been working there for years, and let me tell you, her cooking is hands down some of the most amazing food you’ll ever taste in Jamaica. Authentic, flavorful, and made with love — it’s unforgettable. I honestly can’t say enough about how much I love this place. Mayfield Falls will always be a part of my Jamaican story, and I’ll never stop telling people how special it is.
Sílvia V — Google review
This was a very beautiful and exciting excursion. The water was cool and water flow /current was strong but thankfully we had Super David - our very knowledgeable and impressive guide who helped us to negotiate the quarter of mile tour. David advised us of every single crevice and hole to avoid and exactly where to step safely. David knew the falls like the back of his hand. David was reassuring, funny and friendly guide who was safety conscious. Plus he took priceless pictures of us at various stages of the tour. If you need to do this tour David is the man Big up yourself David - One Love
T K — Google review
We drive because we had rental car but anybody can go there by a car or having a local guide take you there also there is a $25 entrance fee per person. The good part of this place is once you come out after the excursion they also offer a meal and the prices are affordable. The people over there the guides are really knowledgeable and when you go through the falls, it’s really easy. It’s not a very dangerous or complicated hike, but after the excursion the way back coming up has a kind of a steep walk so if you are not good walking steep Hill. This will be a challenge for you. Our guide Andray was amazing, friendly and very patient and took our time and privacy. Also he also showed us about a lime stone massage that we applied on our whole bodies (kind of mudd full with minerals that are good for the skin). The visit to a breathtaking natural waterfall in Jamaica was nothing short of magical surrounded by tropical greenery and soothing sound of cascade water. This hidden gym offered a perfect escape into nature the crystal clear water with refreshing, cool and making it an ideal spot to swim and relax. Overall, visiting this natural wonder was unforgettable experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and connected to Jamaica’s incredible beauty. I can’t wait to return.

Nestled on the west coast of Jamaica, Doctor's Cave Beach is a renowned Caribbean destination offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. With its golden sands and turquoise waters, this beach is an idyllic spot for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. It holds historical significance as the beach that propelled Montego Bay into a tourism hotspot in the 1920s.
This is by far the best beach in montego Bay. It never disappoints. Always clean , great staff and food to make it a perfect spot to be. Anytime I am in Jamaica, it is my happy place 😊. By far the best beach ⛱️ 😎

We absolutely loved this beach! Starbucks right there, as well as Pier 1 restaurant!

Beautiful, clean beach. Highly recommend for a day at the beach. Be aware that on Wednesdays, the cruise ships dock and so will be very busy. Getting there around 2pm on a Wednesday is good.
Deanna — Google review
Beautiful tranquil area! Extremely clean area and beach, but to access this beach and area a small fee needed. Don't worry it's very low and very worth it. Great to chill out, relax, have a walk. And a light bit of snorkeling. Lots to see and nice food around. We spent the day and it was a good day out overall
RMB — Google review
Such a nicely maintained beach, you pay a fee to enter and can rent umbrellas and chairs. Food was good and reasonable, drinks were pretty good. Beautiful water also just relaxing watching planes landing every now and then.
Sarah S — Google review
This is a great beach… very beautiful. They have a lifeguard on the beach and security. They also have a great bar that is nearby with great drinks. The bar is able to accept American and Jamaican dollars very good vibes. The people were very friendly. I even got a celebratory birthday drink from a local. I’m here to tell the story lol. The people are extremely beautiful and you don’t have a lot of people heckling you. You do have to pay for chairs. I think we paid seven bucks. The beat is full of tourists and local so it’s a good mix and you’re likely to feel very comfortable there. Get there early if you want to avoid having to get an umbrella and use a tree for the ultimate shade they also serve food. We had beef and chicken patties. They were steaming hot and delicious. The bathrooms were clean. all in all very good beach.
G D — Google review
Nice beach. Great view. Got shaded places under tree if you are worried to get burnt, plus the rental umbrella, you should be fine. Got all facilities you need and are pretty clean. It would be 5 stars if the stuffs can be nicer. We asked a lady who works there for helping us take a photo for all, however, she just turned around and ignored.
张舒 — Google review
Doctors Cave Beach is located off the famous Hip Strip of Montego Bay. Access is via the Hip Strip, it’s a fee paying beach, the beach is impeccably clean with clear waters so you can see the sea life, if you venture out a little you can snorkel and see amazing sea life. There is bar serving drinks , cocktails and bar snacks , there is a Starbucks overlooking the beach so coffee and everything Starbucks is available. There is a bouncy thing you swim up to and bounce on or just chill and lie on, the beach can get busy from time to time, but that’s because it’s the place to hang out. The white sand, the clear sea, the warm sea and the impressive sealife makes this beach popular with tourists and locals alike

Airport Lounges
Club Mobay Departure is a convenient service that offers a comfortable and efficient experience for travelers departing from Jamaica. With access to an exclusive lounge, guests can enjoy drinks and food while waiting for their flights. The service also includes assistance with customs and expedited security lines, making the departure process smooth and stress-free. Travelers have praised the attentive staff members who provide excellent service, adding to the overall value of using Club Mobay Departure.
We used Club Mobay for arrival and departure. This was our first time visiting Jamaica. We were so happy that we used this service for both arrival and departure. It made the entire process so easy, quick and stress free. I would always use this service whenever we fly into/out of Jamaica. The employees working with us were very nice. The departure lounge was very clean with a nice variety of food and drink offerings. We felt it was worth the money. Great job Club Mobay!
Heather M — Google review
Certainly a retreat from the busy atmosphere of an international airport. I have been to dozens of international airports in all parts of the world and the accompanying lounges. What makes this one stand out is the absolute dedication to service. Without being instructive the staff is actively looking to assist and anticipate the needs of those who have been fortunate enough to wander into this lounge. The food is also great and if it were not for my flight, I would have loved to stay longer.
Harvey T — Google review
Worth every penny with kids. We had a good hour and a half to spend in there before our flight. The drinks and the service were excellent. The buffet was actually really good with a large selection. The little nook for the kids was awesome for our six-year-old and kept him busy the whole time.
Heather G — Google review
We were welcomed and enjoyed exceptional service by the super friendly staff! The lounge is very clean and well stocked with great food and drink options. The bathrooms are also well attended to. There is a great enclosed childrens play area. They also have a little spa. This is definitely one of my favorite lounges to visit while traveling!
Mark L — Google review
Definitely great/huge time saver for the lines in immigration (tsa line). You can definitely just drink the price of admission as well. It was clean, service was very attentive - but food choices were very limited, so I'm removing a star for that.
Lana D — Google review
When the time came to leave Jamaica, the thought of saying goodbye to the beautiful island was tough. But then we had the Club Mobay experience, and it was the perfect final touch to our vacation. It didn't just make the airport experience easier; it extended our feeling of being on vacation right up until we boarded the plane. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were treated like VIPs. We were escorted through a special, fast-track security lane, which was a huge relief, especially with all the hustle and bustle of a busy international airport. Once inside the lounge, we were in our own little world of Jamaican hospitality. The atmosphere was so relaxed and comfortable, a stark contrast to the hectic terminal outside. The lounge itself is beautiful, with different areas for relaxing, working, or even a kids' play area. We grabbed some delicious Jamaican patties and other snacks and enjoyed some drinks from the open bar. It was the perfect way to spend our last few hours on the island—just kicking back, enjoying the food and drinks, and reflecting on our amazing trip. Club Mobay turned a typically stressful airport experience into a relaxing and enjoyable part of our vacation. It was the best way to savor our last moments in Jamaica, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to make their departure as memorable as their arrival.
Fiorella M — Google review
While the snacks & beverages are nice, the real Club Mobay benefit is the fast line when leaving the airport. Life saver of you hate waiting in lines. Ive had the service both times, this year & wouldn't go back without it. Worth every penny!
Eva U — Google review
Excellent and essential when traveling through Sangster Montego Bay Airport, fast track through the queues. Be prepared to be attacked with dirty looks from the travelers waiting on long lines to get through customs and the check in kiosks. I found a great package deal on Viator arrival and departure lounge access. The arrival lounge is tiny, but understandably so. After flight delays we just wanted to get to our resort. But it was worth it to get adjusted to the pace of things. The departure lounge is where it's at they have a buffet style with finger foods and the beef patties. The jerk chicken wraps are hilariously tiny. But good food and drinks overall. The staff really make it comfortable.

Whether traveling as a couple, with friends, or family, there are options for everyone to enjoy. In addition to popular sightseeing destinations like Dunn River Falls, independent tour operators such as Viator and Tours by Locals provide additional opportunities for exploration.
We had an outstanding experience with this company. They provided airport transfers to and from our resort and we went on four different tours with them. All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Special shout out to Darlene, who spent an entire day (12 + hours) with us for one tour, the highlight of our trip! Would absolutely recommend and use this company again!
Courtney B — Google review
I rarely leave reviews and especially unsavoury reviews at that; however, this is one of those unfortunate occasions. I booked a round trip airport transfer. The ride to my resort was fine. However, my driver spitefully left us after a disagreement (he had a hostile demeanour and attitude because we presented for our 12:10 pm pickup at 12:10 pm [this is not a typo]. According to him, he had been waiting for 10 minutes but we had checked out 15 minutes prior and no one was waiting when we did). We went to get our bag which the resort had behind the desk for safe keeping (because again, we checked out on time and the resort didn’t want random luggage in the foyer pickup area) and then once our backs were turned, he drove off. The resort were sympathetic to us and offered a taxi ride which allowed us to make our flight in time, fortunately. I informed JTL when I got to the airport and was told if I emailed their customer service, the situation would get resolved. I received no response and, of course, I should have known better that they would follow up or rectify the issue. Use this business at your own risk.
Daniel W — Google review
I had to wait for the lady that sells the excursions to show up. She was supposed to be there at nine and got there at 9:45. We booked two excursions with her. The first one was to leave that day at 11. They were over an hour late, picking us up. Then the next day the tour guide showed up to pick us up for the next morning’s excursion. She did not call names, I just noticed the name on the bus said Jamaican Tours. I had to walk up to her and ask if she was the correct person. She would not stop having a conversation with other employees at the resort. I had to actually say excuse me for her to stop and then she just pointed at the bus for me to go get on. While on the tour, she was rude, told people to be quiet, and gave dirty looks. I know that they have a code and want you to book with the original company that you booked the entire trip with. But I would recommend using one of the other companies. The ladies with Amstar were extremely nice and helpful. They just didn’t want to take commission away from their counterpart. I wish I would’ve pressed the issue. JTL didn’t even give options of excursions. Just sold the package from a book.
Tammy F — Google review
I HATE TOURS BUT......... I loved JTL Tours so much that I am considering giving tours a chance again. Firstly, Dacia Riley was amazing to sell me on this tour and was gracious all the way. Then Ms. Darlene was the most amazing tour guide. Whether you want island history, politics, economics or jokes she was up to the task. Worth every minute of the tour. I cannot say enough about this team that operated from the Ocean Coral Springs Hotel.

I have just come back from Jamaica and what made it amazing was the excursions I went on. I can't recommend Jamaica Tours enough for an amazing time. First of all I was in Bahia grand principal in runaway bay. I booked all my things with Jamaica Tours through an amazing ladies called Dionne Brown. She helped me so much. I've been to Jamaica a few times and she found tours for me to try that was new and I loved them all. She was so helpful, caring, funny and just a star. So if you are ever at Bahia grand principal please go to Jamaica Tours and ask for her. I went on the chukka Dunn's River boat trip, luminous Lagoon tour, Chukka ATV and shopping. All were amazing. The buses, drivers and journeys were all great. Thank you Jamaica Tours till next time I come. And again thank you Miss Dionne.
Louise B — Google review
I’m extremely disappointed in the service provided by Jamaica Tours Limited (JTL). My family and I were scheduled for an airport pickup at 10:05 AM. We were downstairs by 9:50 AM and checked in with the representative, Marlene, who assured us she would let us know when the driver arrived. The driver didn’t show up until 10:20 AM — late and in a foul mood. He was rude from the start, aggressively throwing our luggage into the storage compartment and snapping at us to put our carry-ons in the front of the bus ourselves. We had done absolutely nothing to warrant that behavior. When my fiancée realized she had forgotten her passport in the room, she apologized and quickly ran back to get it. Instead of showing any patience or understanding, the driver became angry and shouted that she had "one minute" or he was leaving. I calmly reminded him that he was the one who was late, and we had shown him grace — why couldn’t he extend the same courtesy to us? He then demanded her name, yelling, and moments later said he was driving off without her. I told him to stop the bus and let us off. He proceeded to scream at my family and throw our bags out of the undercarriage. Then he got back on the bus and drove away, leaving us behind. I spoke to Marlene immediately and explained everything. Shockingly, she blamed us, asking, “Why would you get off the bus?” I told her we had no idea JTL would provide another car for my fiancée — because no one communicated that. She had nothing else to say and refused to call for another ride. We ended up having to pay $160 (8 people at $20 each) out of pocket for a taxi to the airport. To make matters worse, we had a jet ski tour booked with JTL during our trip — and they just canceled it without any explanation or rescheduling. Save yourself the stress, disrespect, and disorganization — DO NOT book anything through JTL. Their service was unprofessional, their staff were rude and unhelpful, and their lack of communication left a terrible mark on what should’ve been a beautiful family trip.

Carter was our driver today. Picked us up at Riu Montego Bay! He made our day exceptional. We Came all the way from North Carolina and was made to feel like family on our private tour to Dunn river falls, and then shopping in Ocho Rios. Treated like family by Carter Clarke!! You were and are awesome. Thank you. 5 stars all the way!!!!

We would not book with them again. Valgeene was our rep and we scheduled all of our excursions in advance for her to day off at the scheduled time of pick up with the driver forget the card machine for payment making us late. She has to have the srover to a different location just to give us reciepts. Day 2 of a 8:00am excursion we had to call her because our driver was not there and she tells us “give her one minute” and hangs up on us without further explanation. We call again she’s saying theres a thire party hick up. We ask what the hick up is (we scheduled in advance) she says “hold on” and hangs up again. So for the third time were calling trying to figure it out because we were scheduled for ATV and Horseback riding at 8 and were now going on 8:30. She calls telling us we have to do rafting today and atvs and auch tomorrow. Well thats not what we planned and prepared for. She wasn’t courteous of the inconviemce and on too off that she tell us “you have 10 minutes to change” and “do you want to go or not” just really rude, not apologetic or customer service savy. Then the driver that she told 10 minutes too last minute was really nasty and rude to us because she made us late being that she changed our plans day of minutes before the rafting excursion. We still have more days to experience with our excursions through them and we aren’t very happy with the inconvenience or the distasteful customer service.

Rose Hall Great House is a restored Georgian mansion that was built in 1770 on a former plantation in Jamaica. It offers tours that provide insight into the lives of European landowners and enslaved people during the sugar plantation era. The property is reputedly haunted, with local legends surrounding Annie Palmer, known as the White Witch of Rose Hall. Visitors can opt for candlelight tours to immerse themselves in the eerie atmosphere and learn about the mysterious deaths associated with the property.
Great place to visit. I'd definitely recommend it. Our guide was Marsha and she was very knowledgeable and polite. My wife and I had a very nice rum punch in the basement where there was a bar. We were given the little jars we had the punch in as a gift.

Overall, visiting Rose Hall was a great experience. It was wonderful to learn about the local culture and hear interesting historical facts. The tour provided a lot of valuable information, though at times it felt a bit rushed. We would have appreciated more time in individual rooms and opportunities for questions and discussion. Despite that, it was an enjoyable and worthwhile visit, offering plenty of insight into the history and culture of the area.

Definitely worth the visit. My friend and I did this tour and our tour guide was a lovely. Interesting stories. P.S. Try the witch’s brew from the pub there.

Really interesting place to learn about the legend of the white witch. They offer both day and evening tours and both are quite informative and very helpful to understand what took place back in the day. We certainly recommend if you are interested in spooky, local history and also antique items.

Ohhhhhh my gosh, if you are in Jamaica GOOOOO!!! It’s well worth it. We all had such a wonderful time. STUNNING place and it’s an excellent way to learn history. If you’re a Johnny Cash or Ghost Adventures fan this is a MUST. Staff was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and welcoming. Such beautiful people, I could listen and learn for hours.

Fantastic experience! Our guide was wonderful! My mom and driver who are natives always was too nervous to come here but we convinced them and they had a wonderful time Learned so much!

The night tour was perfect, I've done a lot of historic mansion tours in different cities and this was by far the most fun. The house is amazing, the tour was "interactive", and it was really interactive. :) Everyone one was engaged, on edge and scared through the whole tour. Our guide Ricky was great! Very entertaining.

Croydon In The Mountains is a foothill plantation that grows pineapples, citrus fruit, and coffee. Visitors can take tours of the plantation and enjoy lunch while learning about the various plants and fruits grown there. The tour guides are knowledgeable and provide an enriching experience for nature lovers. Despite the bumpy drive to the plantation, visitors are rewarded with beautiful scenery and a glimpse into country living.
Definitely worth the visit! You get to explore the grounds, while learning about the estate's history. You will also learn about bees, hummingbird, and also plants that can be found on the estate. The most exciting part is having the opportunity to taste the different fruits grown on the land. Croydon in the Mountains is a must visit destination for those interested in Jamaican history, culture, and agriculture. Truly Recommended 🇯🇲 #TrulyJamaican

Amazing space , well thought out worth the drive … curated safe manicured glamping spot , has all the amenities you need from a place to charge electronics, to clean bathroom and adequate parking , 24/7 security, outdoor showers ,firepit, warm hospitality and the whole shibang would recommend this happily with my eyes closed…. All produce on this farm is organic and you get to taste and enjoy produce as a part of the overall outdoors experience…. Is definitely a must do

Love this experience! Yes, the journey was bumpy, but experiencing the two natural spring waterfalls as we got close to property made the journey worthwhile. We are so grateful to Dylan for the personal tour of this blessed piece of paradise on 'the Rock'. We ate from the land ... jackfruit (like cotton candy), and pineapples. Thank you for educating us about how the land was designed and how it's used. We share your vision and wish you continued success. We visited a few days after Beryl and, with the exception of a few broken tree limbs, the property looked like it put its own 'forcefield' to protect itself. Dylan "Who God bless let no man curse!" Thank you again Blessings, Owen, Lisa and Abby

So good I think I left part of my heart there!!! What an amaziingggg experience, from tasting raw honey extracted directly from the frames, to eating fruits hand picked from the trees…❤️

An incredible experience rich in culture and the most amazing fruits! A brilliant tour with deep wisdom and knowledge of the land and its abundance! Would highly recommend when visiting jamaica

I haven't had the pleasure to visit. Though I hope to some day. But I wish all the people and animals of Jamaica safe passage through that monster hurricane Melissa. Peace and love from America ✌🏻💚

This was the best part of our Jamaican trip. The ride here was a bit bumpy but so worth it. Along the way there was a natural waterfall on the road which was really cool to see. Croydon is a huge pineapple farm along with many other different types of fruits. The best part was trying all the fruits. The view of the mountains was also gorgeous. There is a lunch served after your long walk. Make sure you try the organic ginger tea, I've never tasted a drink that good before.

Truly a beautiful location in the mountains. If you're new to Jamaica, then this a perfect opportunity to see a variety of flora, organic fruits and vegetables and learn some history about the country.

Waterfalls
YS Falls is a breathtaking natural attraction located on the southern coast of Jamaica. This scenic destination features seven stunning waterfalls that cascade into inviting natural swimming pools, all set amid lush gardens. Visitors can take an adventure excursion to explore the falls and enjoy a refreshing splash in the river. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, there are options for canopy expeditions, offering a thrilling ziplining experience from the top to the bottom of the falls.
Beautiful and so serene. The waterfalls and hot springs make for a very relaxing time. The entire park is very luscious and green, it’s so relaxing and peaceful. Not as crowded when we went. You access to the entire park, not just the waterfalls. So you could walk around, get in the water and just spend your entire day here. I really enjoyed it. I booked through a tour company so I’m not sure how the experience is if you go by yourself.
Christabella — Google review
I had a wonderful time with family there. It was relaxing and beautiful. I zip lined across the falls and Patrick and Gerard were amazing making it so much fun. A must go
Dawn M — Google review
YS Falls is one of the premier falls in Jamaica, and with good reason. It’s one of the most professionally run establishments I’ve been to in the country. Everything is orderly, on time, well maintained and very reasonably priced. The falls is beautiful and has lifeguards at every level. There is a pool at the base of the falls, picking tables about the grass, and even food being sold. There is zip lining and rope swings. In terms of crowds, I recommend going early. By midday there will be hundreds of people milling about. AVOID holidays, as it will be unbelievably busy.
Miscellaneous M — Google review
I absolutely loved this place! Our guides were fantastic! It’s amazing to jump off the rope swing. Very freeing. Many locals which made me feel I was having a more authentic cultural experience. There’s two mineral water pools to play or swim in before entering the falls. 15 dollar water shoes, can also rent them for 10! The staff was lovely and helpful. We had family with us from ages 1-84 and everyone had a good time. Highly recommend!
Laura L — Google review
The river was running fast, and was brown due to rain. However, it was still so beautiful!!! When you get to the gate, you pay admission, then ride a bus to the falls. Once there, theres a gift shop with small lockers available for $5. But once you open it, you have to take your items or pay another $5 to keep it. There are also changing rooms, bathrooms, and places to sit. Overall a very nice place, with the most beautiful scenery.
Prudhomme K — Google review
We only got about 1-1.5 hrs here. Would reccomend spending the whole day here. Admission fee of 22.00. Tourist trap but worth it if you plan to spend the whole day there. They have a pool below of natural fresh water from the falls with pool chairs and lifeguard etc. so you can spend time swimming/ relaxing/ playing in the falls. Lots of local plants/ gardens/ animal life like snails. YS falls has about 3 tiers and good supply of gushing water. You can’t get to the top most tier walking. They only let you go up to the 2nd tier. However, on the 2nd tier/ pool, there are two ropes. One that you can swing and jump off of from a platform (they tell you when to jump) and a 2nd one that you can also jump off of into more shallow water or just swing on it. I was told it is less popular so less crowded than Dunns River falls which is nice. The attendants were really helpful in helping us take photos, helping us walk through the falls (had us join hands together for safety). Small gift shop but overpriced items. You can do zip lining or tubing for additional fees. Seemed like ziplining was an additional 60.00. Would definitely go again
C L — Google review
The journey to get there is totally worth it! The landscapes, The pool, and services were more than adequate if you don't want to be in the falls. Only wish they stayed open a little longer.
Celia S — Google review
Pure magic. From the scenic drive in to the moment you step onto the property, everything feels like a postcard come to life. The falls are breathtaking and the natural pools are perfect for a refreshing swim. The staff was kind, helpful, and made the experience feel safe and fun. We loved that it wasn’t overly crowded, and the balance of adventure and relaxation was perfect. Everything was clean, organized, and well taken care of. This place captures the heart and beauty of Jamaica—highly recommend making it part of your trip!

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with J. Charles Swaby's Black River Safari, where nature comes alive! This guided boat tour invites you to explore the enchanting mangrove forests of Jamaica, teeming with wildlife. As you glide through the serene waters, keep your eyes peeled for fascinating sightings like crocodiles and egrets, along with a variety of exotic birds.
Nice tour in search of crocodile in Black River. The service is good and the value is worth it. We saw 6 different crocodiles and some birds.

This was our first time visiting the Swaby Black River Safari and we were warmly welcomed by the lovely lady at the ticket desk—so polite and friendly. We then set off with our captain, Cornell, who was incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much about the crocodiles, the Black River, the local wildlife and plant life, as well as the history and surroundings of St. Elizabeth and neighbouring Trelawny. Everyone on our tour had a fantastic time—Cornell kept us entertained with fun trivia and nonstop jokes. We were able to interact with the adult crocodiles and touch them. After the tour, we got to see baby turtles and hold the baby crocodiles. Honestly, this is one of the best experiences I’ve had in Jamaica. We absolutely loved it!
CC M — Google review
There is adequate parking, the waiting area needs improvement, the entrance and the area to buy the ticket seemed incomplete. The bathrooms looked newly renovated and everywhere including the bathroom was clean. For the tour- I LOVED it! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and charismatic. He was very interactive with us and the crocodiles seemed like they were paid actors too! I’d definitely recommend here.

I've been wanting to do this tour for a while now. I was so mesmerized, the captain, the crocodiles, the journey up the Black River. It was awesome. My 6yr old son could not stop talking about it for days. Please go and enjoy the experience. Well worth it.

We had an excellent time with our guide! He was really funny and knowledgeable. We had a great time and saw a few crocodile. We even got to hold a young one inside the nursery. Really well worth the price of admission. We went on the 10am tour and weren't disappointed at all... ♥ 🐊

Visited here today and was able to do the 1pm tour. The staff who welcomed us were pleasant and helpful. The boat captain Daniel was very knowledgeable and funny. His knowledge and humour calmed all of us who were nervous. He had someone with him who helped to feed the crocodiles and he was very good too. You can buy tickets ahead of time but it wasn’t necessary. I’d recommend knowing the tour times so you don’t have to wait too long for the next one. We saw about 5 crocodiles too and were able to pet the baby crocs too

This boat ride wasn't on my radar but I'm so happy it included in our package. It was an exceptional experience. There's plenty of space on the boat, so every seat is really a good seat. If sitting in the sun is a concern, go for the inside seat. The river is beautiful! Being out on the water, getting a little history, and observing the animals was quite entertaining. My husband really enjoyed it to. This attraction is a hidden gem that everyone should find.

Historic rum distillery in a scenic valley with a visitor's center, guided tours & tastings.
This was such a unique, fun experience. First of all, the property itself is beautiful! So luscious and green. The tour and tasting are very well thought out and organized. There’s a buffet so we got some food to eat, which was included in our entry fee. Very delicious and leaned more home cooked. I really enjoyed the tour, they gave us a behind the scenes tour of the rum making process, and had us try the products every step of the way and ended with actual tasting of different flavors. It was great and I’d highly recommend it.

We came here with Inside Tours Jamaica and had an amazing time. The tour guides were informative and gave an amazing presentation regarding the history of rum production and Appleton. The tasting at the end was great and they have an awesome gift shop. If you’re in Jamaica hit this place up. Make sure to get your drink at the bar when you are waiting to start the tour it was amazing!

The Appleton Estate tour was a really good experience. It was interesting to see the process behind the rum-making and you could tell a lot of care goes into every step. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable which made the tour even more enjoyable. One suggestion for the future would be to offer a souvenir option, maybe a small flask of Appleton rum at a discounted price or a package that includes it. It would be a nice touch for visitors to take a little piece of the experience home. Still, even without that, the tour was well worth it and I’d definitely recommend it.

Thank you for an incredible experience at Appleton Estate! Our guide, Danielle, was warm, friendly and so knowledgeable! And the food in the restaurant was excellent! The rum tasting was also a fantastic experience and tasting the different varieties was definitely a learning experience. I had no idea that the tastes could be so different and Danielle did a great job explaining the flavor profiles. We also decided to taste the 15 and 21 year aged rums and fell in love with both of them! We purchased the 21 year old rum and look forward to savoring it in the future!! Anyone visiting Jamaica should make it a priority to visit Appleton Estate!! :-)

The Appleton Estate Rum Tour was excellent! The welcome drink was a pleasure and the feel of the welcome center was luxe with comfy seating. Once our tour began we watched a brief film about the estate after which we walked out onto the grounds. The history and breakdown of how rum was made was insightful and eye opening. My favorite part of the tour was the tasting session where we were able to identify the different notes in different versions of Appleton rum. The well stocked gift shop was also a good shopportunity. My only slight issue during my visit was the food. The grilled chicken was adequate but was most definitely not jerk, as described. Overall a good experience. Will recommend and revisit again soon.

It was a wonderful tour full of history and rum of course. The tour cost $3,000 jmd for Jamaicans, this includes cocktails. Please bring an ID. We were hungry so we headed straight to the restaurant. Our server was Burma and she was awesome. The food was reasonably priced and it tasted good. I had the jerk pork and chicken mix ( see picture) with original daiquiri and mek mi tell yu...it did good. Great day of fun and rum. Our tour guide was Rasia and she was awesome. 😃😃😃 Go check it out and leave a top of appreciation 😉☺️

I drove all the way from St. Andrew to get this experience. Was it worth the drive? Read and find out. Good: - Imagine smiling before the tour! That's what we got from Randeen the bar-tuff. He was a comical introduction. 8/10 - Rasia was our tour guide. She did an amazing job in keeping up her energy, keeping us engaged and entertained and making the tour interesting. Jokes, pun & all round fun. 9/10 - The grounds looked immaculate, aesthetically speaking, the whole place looks magnificent like a 5 star hotel and the male bathroom spotless 10/10. - I was marvelling about the onsite restaurant on my Whatsapp only to hear that I was late to the party and everyone knows the restaurant deserves a Michelin Star. I had the oxtail and my wife the curried goat. Thank God Dezrine stopped us from leaving, would be regrettably to have missed that culinary experience. 100/10. - Pazz was a fan favourite. Who is Pazz? Got to go there to find out. 10/10 Bad - This really was only a bad for me, but everyone else was okay. The servers tended to everyone one and not me and my wife and even persons who came in after us got seated and attended to. So stating this to be fair and just. The service was speedy for everyone; "just not us." Which was unfortunate. We decided to get up and go else where when a vibrant server Dezrine asked us if we enjoyed the service to only find out weren't attended to. She apologized, invited us to stay and took excellent care of us. We thank her for the suggestions. Speedy Service: 8/10 Our Service: 4.8/10 (before Dezrine) Dezrine's Service to Us: 9.3/10 Indifferent - I did another rum tour to a location closer to me and realise both were pretty much the same, in substance regarding rum production (not factoring history, aesthetics and landscape, etc) 5/10 - The other tour had us meeting the master blender there, so maybe as a suggestion since Joy Spence is so highly looked up to, maybe including a word from her in the introduction video since it is a "Joy Spence Experience" minus the Joy Spence...🤷🏾‍♂️ Just saying.... 5/10 👏THE👏FOOOOOOD👏WAS👏WORTH👏THE👏DRIVE👏 and the experience as well, of they had an Air BNB, I'd sign up to escape reality in that tranquility 😌. The destination was worth the journey (especially for Pazz and the Food) 1000/10.

Awesome tour. Our tour guide, Peter, was amazing. If you're a rum lover, especially Appleton, you need to visit. I learned so much. Didn't know that slaves were the first to distill rum. A monument with their names is erected on the property. The master distiller is female. The only one in the world. I could go on and on, but you should go visit. You won't regret it. I will be going back again, for sure.

Chukka and Appleton Estate came through clutch for me. I Went on a tour with my groomsmen and guests who were attending my wedding on the next day. I let our transportation company know I had to be back by 5p for my wedding rehearsal. They arrange a private tour for us at the estate so we could get the full experience and leave on time. We didn't feel rush and the experience was amazing! I am not a drinker of alcoholic beverages, but you will feel like a rum expert and know your way around a good bottle afterwards. *For those looking for this comment* You can take kids on these tours, minus the rum tasting session of course.

The Martha Brae River, located in the tranquil parish of Trelawny, Jamaica, is renowned for its bamboo rafting experiences. Just a short distance from Falmouth and Montego Bay, this picturesque river offers a romantic and leisurely day out. Visitors can embark on a serene bamboo raft ride guided by experienced captains, allowing them to admire the lush flora and fauna along the riverbanks.
Was the best part of our stay in Jamaca. We were able to relax and have fun. The raft Captian allow my wife to push the raft for a while, while we enjoyed the ride. We would recommend this to everyone.

Took my mom and kids, and this was a tremendous experience. The experience was quiet and peaceful. Mr. Gentile, our rafter, gave us the history of the river. The tour was quite long, 1 hour-ish, worth every penny. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing experience, you'll find it at Martha Brae.

This is a wonderful experience. Our guide was Jay and he shared a lot of interesting information about Jamaica. I accidentally caused my husband to take a dive and he cut his finger on the wire. Jay poured rum on it and rubbed limestone and it stopped bleeding immediately. During the tour, they give you a limestone foot and leg massage. It was incredible....my feet are so smooth. The tour cost $35 per person and we bought a bottle of rum punch for $30 (we actually didn't know we were buying it but oh well!)

Prior to landing in Jamaica I was told that rafting on the Martha Brae river is an experience I should have. I must say that I was not too enthusiastic about going. Quite frankly it sounded boring to me. But along with other family I went with the flow. Well...hmm. it was a wonderful experience. After joining the raft which is made of bamboo we floated along the river with Ronald as our guide. He told us twice versions of the story of the Martha Brae river. Firstly, that Martha Brae was a witch who was tortured by the Spaniards so that she can tell where gold was located. That she lured then into a cave changed the course of the river and flooded out the cave causing them to drowned and the river began to flow in that new course from then until now. Second story is that the name Martha Brae is the english translation of the spanish name for the River Mateberion (not sure if the spelling of the name). We saw the river vendors plying their trade and children swimming in the river. We also saw fruit trees along the way. The most interesting part for us was to watch the guides manoeuvre the rafts when we arrived at our destination. There were so many rafts at the end that for us to get off the raft the guides had to use their oars to push the rafts out of the way so that we can inch forward slowly until we were able to step on to land. After that, while waiting be taken back to our vehicles we saw cranes loading the rafts...4 at a time on to the back of truck and we are told that the rafts are then taken to the beginning of the river and put back into the river so that other guests can join the raft and experience rafting on the Martha Brae River.

One of my favourite highlight of Jamaica was visiting the Martha Brae River. The river is nicely shaded from the hot sun. One raft cost 77USD for 2 people. Our guide was Leroy (Sugar), he was incredibly friendly and helped us take a lot of pictures! He was fun to chat with about Jamaica life and even about our life. Be sure to buy their craft, great souvenir to take back home. There are also vendors along the banks that sell fresh coconuts and souvenirs.

Picked up a taxi minibus from the port & this beach club recommended.$20 per person round trip from port, agreed a pick up time & Rose, taxi driver was there as arranged. $10pp entrance including beach chairs & shade. Bucket of 4 beers $20. Free WiFi, clean restrooms, lovely beach, friendly staff, accepts Apple Pay, what more could you ask for!

We joined the RC cruise excursion ‘Blue Water Beach Transfer’ and found the staff to be pleasant. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. I wish we can stay longer but it was cut short due to the excursions 3 hour limit. Do your research on how to get here so you don’t rely on the excursion.

10/10 Highly Recommend coming to the Blue Waters Beach Club if you have the opportunity. We came as part of a cruise excursion this past week and it did not disappoint. The locals are amazing to say the least. Everyone we met was so welcoming and friendly. The food and drinks were fabulous. The view and the beach were gorgeous. Photos do not come close to showing the beauty I saw in person. Money well spent and I have no complaints. I did not want to leave and will definitely visit again in the future God willing. I did not take a lot of photos as I wanted to be present and enjoy the day.

Upon arrival, you're a bit skeptical about what you're entering. Then, you step into the hidden gem that is Blue Waters Beach Club. It's absolutely beautiful and the staff are so friendly. The cost of admission is very affordable. They have an assortment of drinks and food on the menu. Our attendant, Marj, was so pleasant to speak with and to order from. They accept cash, credit, and debit. It's definitely a 5 out of 5 for this piece of heaven.

Excellent space for a large group of persons. The fact that food could be brought unto the property is a great benefit. The property has sufficient cabanas, lounge chairs and umbrellas, however the bathroom facilities were not consistently kept cleaned. The depth of the water surprised persons as it is very shallow, even when the rope boundary is passed.

Traveled here from RC cruise excursion with my family last week. I would recommend filtering and looking at the photos and reviews as the negative ones are spot on. The beach is overcrowded and not family friendly. I have attached true views from the cabanas that are $80 and of the ocean, the dark areas are seaweed patches, the sand goes from 2ft of water to 5 and back again. While the people are friendly and the food local it is just not as described on their site or by the cruise. It you are looking for watered down drinks and overcrowding then you might enjoy this but it is certainly not relaxing. The line to get back to the ship started an hour in to the four hour excursion, I think that speaks for itself.

The beach is well-kept, and the surrounding greenery is lush and beautiful. 🌴🌺 You can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling to your heart's content. 🏊‍♂️🌞 And don't forget to try the mouthwatering jerk chicken and sip on fresh coconut water from local vendors. 🍗🥥 The only downside is that it can get a bit crowded during peak tourist seasons, but the sheer beauty of the place more than makes up for it. Whether you're travelling solo or with family, Blue Water Beach is a must-visit destination for a taste of Caribbean paradise. 🌞🌴🏄‍♀️

Green Grotto Caves, located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, is a national landmark with a rich history. The caves were used by the Tainos for rituals and later served as hideouts for various groups throughout history. Today, guided tours offer historical insights into this mystical underground labyrinth. The surrounding area also features the Jamaica Zoo with diverse animals like lions, llamas, zebras, monkeys, and crocodiles.
Went there for a school excursion. Place was clean and the staff very polite and spoke to students in a way for them to understand. I enjoyed learning about my ancestors as my tour guide Josh was very educated and shared and prompted the students to answer. I recommend here

The Green Grotto caves tour is a lovely adventure through several small cave systems. The main feature is the grotto itself, which is illuminated and beautiful in the deepest parts of the tour. The guide is always great. I’ve been twice and would go again. I walk with a cane and was able to do this tour reasonably well. There are stairs and uneven terrain throughout, but it’s manageable if you watch your step.

Green Grotto Caves was a really cool experience and a great break from the usual beach day. The caves themselves are beautiful and full of history, from the early Tainos to pirates and even rum runners. The underground lake was especially cool to see. What really made the tour stand out was our guide. He was knowledgeable, funny, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing, and it made a big difference. The tour isn’t too long and the walk is pretty easy, but there are a few stairs and uneven spots, nothing crazy, just something to keep in mind. It's a bit humid down there, but the cool air actually feels good after being in the sun. Only giving it 4 stars because the entry fee felt a little steep for the length of the tour, but it’s still a unique and memorable stop if you're in the area. Definitely recommend!

The Green Grotto Caves in Jamaica are a captivating natural wonder located along the island’s stunning north coast, nestled between the vibrant resort towns of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay in Discovery Bay, St. Ann. Their historical tapestry is equally compelling, having served as a shelter for the indigenous Taino Indians, a hideout for Spanish settlers during the 17th-century British invasion, a haven for runaway slaves, and even a storage site for rum barrels during World War II. One standout guide who elevates the Green Grotto Caves experience is Sarnya, whose passion and expertise make every tour unforgettable. Sarnya’s engaging storytelling brings the caves’ history to life, weaving tales of Taino artifacts, pirate hideouts, and wartime secrets with infectious enthusiasm.

Here lies his final resting place amidst the beautiful mountains of St. Ann.
It’s a good time, something to do, something to ponder. The tour was shorter than expected but the drive there was not for the faint of heart. It was comical with our crew. The artwork is not to be missed, take note - phenomenal artists!! Good times!!

We got the best tour guide ever! He was absolutely hilarious and incredibly entertaining. The smoke they sell here isn't that strong though so if you're interested in that and need something stronger I'd recommend stopping at a dispensary first. Everyone here will try to sell you something along the way but they take no for an answer the first time. This was a beautiful place and it was nice to learn new things about this incredible music legend and his family. I'd recommend this for the experience for sure.

This was a great experience. Very humbling to see the roots of Bob Marley. Tour guide ‘Captain Crazy’ was informative and entertaining. We visited when my wife was pregnant so had to climb lots of stairs and the smell of Marijuana while expected can be overwhelming at times. Getting there is also fun but challenging (again because of the pregnancy) the entire drive up to Nine Miles is hilly and curvy, so be prepared for motion sickness. Other than that it’s a great tour of the legends birthplace and final resting place.

Going to the Bob Marley village in Nine Mile was more than just a sightseeing trip; it was a pilgrimage. It's an experience that truly connects you to the heart and soul of Jamaica and the man who put reggae on the world stage. The drive itself was an adventure, winding through the beautiful Jamaican countryside and offering a glimpse of local life outside of the resorts. When we arrived, the energy was incredible. Our Rastafarian guide, with his easy smile and deep knowledge, brought Bob's story to life. He showed us the small, humble house where Bob was born and spent his early years, and it was surreal to walk through the rooms and see the space where his life and musical journey began. We got to see "Mt. Zion Rock," the sacred spot where Bob would meditate and write songs. The feeling of being in the very place that inspired some of the world's most iconic music was truly powerful. The whole atmosphere was filled with a sense of peace and a fun, laid-back vibe. It was a day of laughter, learning, and feeling the "one love" spirit that Bob Marley shared with the world. It was an unforgettable and deeply moving experience that gave me a whole new appreciation for his music and his message.

The museum is a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed the tour, steel drums, and history. Some locals got us outside the museum for a private “plantation tour” which we were glad we experienced too. Don’t forget to get your Bob Marley shot!

Absolutely amazing experience to visit such an iconic legend. The way it is set from start to finish is brilliant. The tour guide Benji was on top form and top class 👏 the perfect guide with so much knowledge and experience being a local community and knowing the family just makes it the best tour to visit. The roads are not the best getting their and the locals can be a bit pushy to buy things but worth the whole journey once visited.

The World Famous Dunn's River Falls & Park in Ocho Rios, Jamaica is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The terraced waterfall offers the perfect opportunity for climbing and exploring its cascades and pools that flow into the ocean. To avoid crowds, it's recommended to plan your visit ahead of time. Additionally, you can enhance your experience by booking a sailing excursion on the Jeanneau sailing yacht, Lark, which departs from Montego Bay.
Dunn's Falls was an unforgettable experience! The stunning water and scenic hike up to the falls were absolutely breathtaking. But what truly made our visit stand out was our incredible guides. They expertly kept the energy high and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time, including one of our group members who needed special assistance - their care and attention to detail were impressive and greatly appreciated.

The Falls are absolutely beautiful. My wife and I found it magical! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 stars was that on the way out, you are forced to walk through a maze of souvenir shops all trying to sell you, and being a bit pushy about it. I wouldn't have minded going through the shops if I didn't feel like everyone was trying to push their trinkets at me. But again, the falls were absolutely amazing!

Hey, we are Vicky 🇵🇪 and Malte 🇩🇪 from the travel blog "Traveling Is Our Passion." For our full one week Jamaica road trip itinerary including driving tips and top stops, check out our full Jamaica road trip blog article. Dunn’s River Falls is one of Jamaica’s most famous natural sights. The waterfall stands about 180 feet tall and stretches 600 feet across. It’s a fantastic place to climb the rocks and enjoy the cool water. Free parking makes it easy to visit by car. Before you enter, stop by Travis’s small souvenir shop nearby—he has great prices and sends warm greetings from us, the Peruvian-German couple. Tickets cost 25 dollars for adults and 17 for children, with lockers available to rent for 8 dollars to keep your belongings safe. We recommend bringing water shoes or buying a pair at the entrance for around 10 dollars, as the rocks can be slippery. If you want to avoid the busiest times, come early at opening, but be prepared to explore on your own at first. Later, guides help groups form a chain to safely climb the falls. You can choose different spots to start or finish the climb. Climbing Dunn’s River Falls was an exciting and memorable experience. It’s a unique activity that stands out even among other adventures in Jamaica.

We had a blast! So much fun! The workers were so nice and helpful. Of course I fell but the workers ran so fast to save me I didn’t get a chance to stand up on my own. But the fun outweighed my embarrassment so I say this is a must do attraction while in Jamaica ❤️

I have not been here in over 15 years so I was really pleased with how they had developed the area. There was even help for persons with disabilities to reach the beach as that is a looonng walk. It was crowded which was my main issue but otherwise a good experience.

Beautiful waterfall, definitely a must see/do when in Jamaica. You can hike up the fall and enjoy the water. If you’re fit and comfortable going against raging water, you don’t really need a guide. We rented a car and did the hike ourselves without a guide and enjoyed it since we didn’t feel rushed to get anywhere. Go all the way down to the beach and work your way up. We got there when it opened so we were able to enjoy the park to ourselves for a while. When we were leaving, we started to see bigger groups come in. It’s a little commercialized, but still an amazing site to see!

Dunn’s River Falls was an amazing experience, and our guide Trevor made it even better! He took great care of me and my family throughout the 45-minute climb. The water gets waist-high at times, and it’s a real workout, kids must be at least 36” (92cm), brave, and fit, as you can’t carry them. The only downside was the poor food options. We had beef patties and smoothies, but the food was bad and the staff were rude. Go for the adventure, not the food and ask for Trevor guide #40!

Dolphin Cove Ocho Rios is a must-visit marine attraction in the Caribbean, offering the unique opportunity to swim with dolphins in their natural habitat. Located near Ocho Rios and Dunns River Falls, this attraction allows visitors to interact with sharks, swim with stingrays, and enjoy activities like glass bottom kayaking and relaxing on the beach.
Awesome must see and do with kids or adults ! Staff was amazing and the animals are well looked after and seem happy ! Price is a bit steep but for the experience its worth it !

The overall experience with the dolphins was great and the trainers were awesome. The setup of the entire premises was great I think It needs a little more polish. You have to park on the roadside but the shoulder on that side of the road was very wide so you are well off the road. The staff were all very nice and friendly. We had a good time at the mini zoo before the dolphin experience. There was a small beach where you could do kayaking, but the beach was very small and wasn't clean and I think given the facilities they had the beach could be made into a better experience. There seemed to be multiple restaurants and bars but they didn't all seem to be open when we were there. The water slide was not working at the time when were there. The pool seemed like it could have been cleaner and it looked like only 1 pump on the pool was working. The children seemed to love the pool though. The rates for the photos was high and I think the all or nothing approach to the photos needs to be looked at. They could possibly come up with a per photo pricing and allow you to choose the best 1 or 2 if you can't afford all the photos for everyone similar to what they do at mystic mountain. The food was a little on the expensive side and the burger and fries was very ordinary for the price. The did have a lunch special though for JMD $1300 which was actually very good and it was a decent portion size.

The dolphin experience was unforgettable...definitely would go back. Love that they had other activities on the property...my only concern was the slippery tiles. The tiles in the restaurant was slippery, the ones leading to the lobby area, to the bathroom. Everyone kept slipping. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT. But overall my family enjoyed the experience.

This was my second visit to Dolphin Cove, and I can see they've made a lot of improvements since my first visit many years ago. The place is very scenic, and the dolphin experience is absolutely top tier. It was a bit scary walking on the platform and getting into the water, but overall, it was an incredible interaction. That said, the staff experience left much to be desired. Almost all of the workers were not pleasant. There was an undertone in their attitude and a bit of roughness in how they spoke to guests. One staff member even told the man in front of me that she would laugh if he fell, and she repeatedly told people to turn back if they were afraid instead of reassuring them that they would be okay and that their life jackets would help. The platform in the water was also very slippery, which made it even more nerve-wracking. Despite that, I’m really glad my nieces pushed through their fear and went into the water. The pool area is lovely and provides a nice space for children to relax and play under supervision. They also have a restaurant and an ice cream parlor, though I didn't visit them. In the bird aviary, the men working there seemed uninterested and disengaged. I hate to think their attitude was due to us being locals, as I know many don’t tip, though I did. The lobby area was crowded and poorly managed, and again, the staff at registration were not welcoming. The beach area is very small, but the waterslide was lovely and fun. Despite the poor attitude from many of the staff, I would return for the experience itself and the beautiful surroundings.
Shantel M — Google review
The dolphin interaction was fun and fairly priced compared to other Caribbean locations. However, the extras were excessive $230 for photos for a family of 4 (no phones/cameras allowed), $10 locker fee, $5 Coke ($10 with card), and only one lunch option included wasn’t even good. The water slide was closed, and the jungle trail consisted of just 8 parrots and 1 iguana. The music was also unnecessarily blasting for a kid-friendly park, especially right by the dolphins. To top it off, after paying for the pricey photo package, the photographer still asked for a tip. Disappointing add-ons to an otherwise enjoyable activity.

This was a great experience! I've always wanted to swim with dolphins. Just a small hiccup with my wristband color and type of encounter i got, but that did not ruin the experience for me.

Very poor experience. Booked via Royalton/Nexus. Advertised to include. Snorkeling with manta rays, jungle tour see the snakes, kayak, glass bottom boat and shark show. None of this was available on the day. Arrived told to wait around for 2 hours. $10 to use a locker. Very clear you must have one as theft if very likely. 30 mins with as a group with dolphins. (That bit is great) But can't help feeling the site is so small for them! Add in the high pressure photo sale at $60each. Zero response from Royalton/Nexus. A mega let down, left feeling abused by the service. Loved my holiday but this really did ruin the day

Horrible experience save your money this is a tourist trap. The staff is rude, misgendered my 5 year old son after being told multiple times he was a boy. I understand patwa so I heard the negative comments about my son and my body. They will try to squeeze every single penny you have out of you. I originally booked for the admissions plus for two adults and one child under 5. That was $137 total plus tax. It said online it included the mini jungle, sting ray , beach , water slide , kayaking, and food We received a purple wristband, we continued on to the gift shop the lady looked at us and her exact words were “ ok so you got that band ? The cheaper one. “ she then tried to sale me three pictures with the dolphin on a platform for $20 dollars each. It’s three of us that’s $60 dollars. I asked can we just take one family photo i didn’t need three pictures of us individually I just wanted one family picture she said no. I told my husband If we’re going to add the $60 dollars for three pictures we might as well just pay for the dolphin encounter. We went back downstairs and upgraded our tickets. My husband has a Jamaican passport, he presented his passport and he did not receive the local rate btw. I was told it would be $18 per person to upgrade the ticket to the dolphin encounter that’s a pink band. I paid $18x3 which I didn’t understand why I had to pay to upgrade my child who is under 5 when 1-5 years old is free with two paying adults Anyways. I was then told it would be $65 per person to add on photos and these photos are only digital no print outs. So we paid $195 for 3 shots per person. When your in the water you do three poses and they snap a shot of all three so your paying $65 for 3 digital shots. Which is ridiculous When you do the dolphin encounter they split you off into groups based off your wristbands. If you purchase the royal swimmer band they treat you like gold. Or if you’re white they treat you even better because they know you are going to tip them. We paid a total of $386 dollars for about 15 mins in the water with the dolphin. It was very rushed you do three poses with the dolphin and they give you education of the dolphin. And at the end of your experience our instructor asked for a tip. Which I was confused because after paying $386 dollars you shouldn’t be pressured to tip. We went to the mini jungle we saw two rabbits , the birds and an iguana. I was told if my son wanted to touch the birds or if we wanted to take a picture of the birds we had to tip. When we went to see the iguana and the bigger birds the instructor was sleep on the bench we woke him up and he told us if my son wanted to hold the iguana or if we wanted a picture with it we had to tip. At this point I was annoyed because everywhere we went we were pressured for tips after already paying a lot. The stingrays were cool but again after seeing the stingrays our instructor asked for a tip. Sharks weren’t available Kayaking wasn’t available The small beach has cabanas that were dirty. We arrived at 9am opening time so the beach should have been cleaned. The beach is also big rocks so you can’t step in. The meal Included was a piece of chicken rice and peas and veggies no drink. When I asked for my included drink the bartender told me I would have to hide it so others don’t ask. Just an overall horrible experience and complete waste of money. Mystic Mountain was wayyyy better you aren’t pressured for tips staff are friendly and will take pictures of you with your phone for free. I tried to take photos of the tip trays The manager was also not available either.

Theme park
Mystic Mountain, located in the lush rainforest of Ocho Rios, is a nature theme park that offers a variety of family-friendly adventure rides and activities. Spanning over 100 acres, this park takes visitors from the seaside to the summit of the mountain at 700 feet above sea level. The attractions include zip lining, bobsledding, birdwatching, water slides, and a chairlift canopy ride with stunning views of the surrounding jungle.
I would rate Mystic Mountain an 8/10. One downside is the lines, which understandably is long for any amusement park. We came on a sunday around 2-3pm and it was about an 1hr+ wait for one ride. They also don’t have a lot of rides/activities and the ticket price is kind of pricey for the amount of rides they offer. We paid $140 USD and couldn’t really go on the rides multiple times because of the long lines. Aside from that, the rides are fun especially the Bobsled. The Sky Explorer was nice and relaxing (unless you’re afraid of heights 😅). And the scenery is beautiful.

Mixed review. Loved the place, loved the activities. Did not like the sense of urgency. Based on my experience, do not book back to back excursions if going here. Meaning, if you wanted to go to Mystic Mountain and then want to go to another place, you may be at risk. The staff is not on your time!! Based on my experience, I recommend a full day at Mystic Mountain. There is a lot to do there. Pool, rope climb, rock wall, bob sled and zip line. The time given doesn't make sense. We had an 11Am ticket time. We got to the park before 11 am. After the ride up to the mountain, we found out the next available time for the zip line was 1:30 PM. We didn't get on the Zipline until 2:15 PM as the staff was waiting on the gear to get back to the starting point. Totally unorganized. Once on the Zipline however, things were smooth and it was a great time. There are multiple ziplines to take you back down the mountain. If you plan on leaving, the staff will send your bags ahead of you. Once done with the zip line, you can simply leave. I thought that was a cool service. The rope course and bobsled were also great

This place was lovely. The zip line instructors were so funny and supportive. Had a great time, the view is beautiful, but pizza not good. The bobsled was great, I love that you can control the speed.

We had a phenominal time and can't recommend the park highly enough. From booking stage to transfers there and back to our hotel, the whole process was very smooth. Staff were very friendly and safety was definitely a priority. We visited early in the morning, which was great as it was quiet and not too hot. It's on my to-do-list as soon as I can get back to Jamaica. Well done to all, my husband and I had a wonderful time.

Mystic Mountain Guest Experience Review The overall visit to Mystic Mountain yielded a mixed experience. We would like to commend the operational staff assigned to the rides for their outstanding friendliness and accommodation; their professionalism significantly elevated the quality of our time on those attractions. However, the standards of service were inconsistent across the park, particularly within the food court where a lack of attentiveness was observed. Furthermore, the inability of the food and beverage service to manage inventory, resulting in items being completely unavailable during a high-volume holiday weekend, represents a critical logistical oversight that negatively impacted the guest experience. The most pressing issue is a need for greater transparency in operational status. Guests must be notified of significant closures, such as non-operational rides, weather-related shutdowns, and critically, the closure of the Sky Explorer (tram). Since the tram is a primary draw for many visitors, its non-operational status must be communicated clearly prior to ticket purchase, not discovered upon arrival. Given the loss of a major facility and the operational issues encountered, we believe a form of compensation or credit is warranted. In summary, Mystic Mountain possesses considerable potential as a destination when all facilities are functional and weather permits. Addressing the systemic issues related to logistics and customer information transparency is essential to ensure guest expectations are consistently met.

Mystic Mountain was nothing short of Adventure. Two friends and I went on a Tuesday and were able to zip line, go on the raggamuffin, have lunch, and bobsled twice! The gondola up and down truly transports you into a haven of pure FUN! 10/10 day for the girls!
Mace J — Google review
There's places to choose to dine and eat here if you would like, Infinity pool and plenty of activities to do once you get to the top of Mystic...the longest wait is i believe the bobsled ride, arrive early if you would like to enjoy all activities and go more than one round

We had fun here. Really enjoyed the meal and the bobsleigh. The entry fee was far to expensive for what you get. 70 US dollars basic entry fee which includes 4 activities. You don't get to choose the 4 so we only did 2 outa 4 and then paid an extra 20 US dollars for the bobsleigh.

Cool Blue Hole Ocho Rios is a popular tourist destination in Jamaica, known for its scenic tropical waterfalls and multiple swimming holes. Nestled in the White River Valley, it offers enchanting views of lush greenery and exotic flowers. The icy blue waters of the river flow through hills, forests, and villages before reaching the Caribbean Sea. This hidden treasure is also referred to as Island Gully Falls, Secret Falls, and Irie Blue Hole.
An absolute must if you are anywhere in the Ocho Rios area - tours/transportation to here can easily be arranged from hotels. This is such a beautiful and peaceful place where you can relax and cool off in the shaded waters below. Just be warned that after heavy rains the cool blue hole can transform into cool brown hole! You will have so much fun jumping from the waterfall! - The guides here do a nice job with this.

This was my favorite excursion in Jamaica! Our tour guide LaShawn was a 14 year old who was super personable and professional. He helped us through the raging water and even encouraged me to jump! This is definitely a MUST DO when you’re here. We rented a car and got tickets online, so we drove there ourselves and didn’t have to worry about a big tour group. Highly recommend!
Reinelle A — Google review
We had a great experience! The tour guides were very patient, friendly, and helpful. Mickey was our primary guide and Jay was the secondary, and both went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Mickey even went diving to recover my brother’s sunglasses after they were lost during the fall—such a thoughtful gesture! A tip for future visitors: be sure to wear water shoes, as they make the walk up the falls much easier. Our pictures turned out amazing—the photographer did an excellent job capturing the moment, and the fee for all the photos was very reasonable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend!

My wife and I visited the Dunn's River Falls, and the Blue Hole on the same day. I have to say, the Blue Hole was the better visit of the two!! It was a wonderful experience! From our guide, to the leap into the water, it was just amazing!

this tourist attraction is very nice and worth the detour! it is not too crowed and the tour only last about 1hr total. you get to jump in the water many times, hike through the waterfalls and enjoy the quite unusual secret jungle hideout feel. the best advice i can give you is when you get out of the tour bus, make sure you leave all your clothes and belongings there and only wear your water shoes. you may bring a cellphone in waterproof case but nothing else.
Marie K — Google review
Would I return? Yes. Will I return? Yes. However, I won't book a tour, just drive up and pay for entrance and life jacket. This agency is amazing, our bus driver was amazing and informative. We did the blue hole and bamboo Rafting and had a great time. I HIGHLY recommend this agency If this is your first time booking or are not familiar with the culture of Jamaica. My only complaint is the constant begging for funds from side vendors playing on your emotions to buy something or the tour guide asking for tips. While going up the blue hole mountain we saw far to make vendors looking to sell something which ruins the scenery and fun of the hike. Even the photo guy, who came out of nowhere, asked for $120 for the photos And then asked for a tip. When I asked if the $120 isn't for him, he said no that's for his boss tip is different. The bamboo Rafting isn't long but it's relaxing. I fell asleep part way which is what I wanted as I was tired and needed to chill. Halfway, we stopped on an island where you can get a massage of some sort but then the side vendors popped up AGAIN asking for purchase. I am sorry to say this but the owner of these areas need to limit or straight up remove some of them. You can only buy so many gifts before you eventually stop caring. With the constant asking for tip you realize you can't plan accordingly, at least financially, properly for these excursion because you never know who's going to ask for a handout.

This place is breathtaking and beautiful. It is such a beautiful and scenic place to enjoy a day our in nature. The water is extremely cold. My family enjoyed jumping into the blue hole and swimming around. The place is located far up in the hills of St. ANNs. The guides at the location are very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place for a day of fun and excitement.

Concept is cool. Unfortunately felt very commercialized on this short maybe 20 minute ride. People trying to sell you jewelry, drinks, and more along the river bed. You are told the ride will be 45 minutes, but that is only if you stop to do the shopping on the river banks.

An exuberant river because of the color of its waters. A shaken, but crystalline channel that hides, in several of its meanders, incredible landscapes. Without a doubt, a place to harmonize with nature 100%.

Devon House I Scream is a renowned ice cream parlor located within the historic Devon House mansion in Kingston. It offers a wide array of rich and creamy flavors, including traditional options like rum and raisin, as well as exotic choices such as mango and soursop. Visitors can indulge in sweet treats while exploring the mansion's grounds or after outdoor activities.
During my recent holiday in Kingston, I received five enthusiastic recommendations to try Scream’s ice cream, and I couldn’t resist! Located in the beautifully maintained Devon House park, this ice cream shop is a must-visit. It’s not just a local favorite; National Geographic even named it the fourth best place in the world to eat ice cream! The park itself is lovely to explore, making your ice cream experience even more enjoyable. The variety of flavors at Scream’s is impressive, including both classic options and unique Jamaican-inspired treats. My go-to flavor had to be Grapenut, which features a creamy texture and a delightful hint of nuttiness without being overly sweet. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to this delicious ice cream—it’s an experience you won’t forget!

It always a pleasure visiting Devon house when I'm in Jamaica. The scoops never disappoint ‼️Just huge and worth the wait....The bakery section however lacked efficiency in their customer service during this visit. The AC was not working and customers were left in sweltering conditions. When I asked if the door could be opened to reduce the heat, my question received blank stares from the workers. I was then asked to go to another section by one of the servers who mentioned that he did not serve from the cake section, which was in fact a lie. If not for the excellent level of service from the ice cream section, I would've rated them lower.

I love Devon House. I've been going since I was a kind every trip to Jamaica. My aunt worked there when I was young. I love the historical background of the place. And the ice cream is really good. You can tell its natural. Im not big on any of the major picks for the locals. But it seems everyone loves the Rum Raisin and Grapenut.
Annesia J — Google review
The ice cream is delicious, the scoop sizes are also great. One scoop is more than enough. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t have Praline cream flavor. Some of the flavors are just okay, I had rum and raisin, and bubblegum flavor.

Brand Jamaica is definitely evident in a scoop of Devon house Rum and Raisin ice cream. I have tje fortunate experience of the Scoops truck by Devon house to drive through my neighborhood on a consistent basis so I literally can wait to hear the ice cream van passing by to get my ice cream scoop!

One of my favorite childhood memories that I still LOVE to enjoy now as an adult. Its a must try if ever in the area!!! Its a but confusing to navigate the entrance, the ordering inside, and pick up of your order. But it's well worth the confusion...lol

Had a blast here. You must try their patties. I had the chicken patty, and it was awesome! There are lots of shops that have a wide array of things, food (patty, soups, burgers, stake, jerk, ice cream, pastries, natural juices (smoothies), etc. There is a paid play area as well, and lots of space on the lawn or at the tables to sit and eat or just relax. There were designated parking spots as well. It's one way in and one way out. Just a heads up. Really enjoyed it here. Ambiance it great, and food is even better.

Emancipation Park in Kingston is a versatile city park that offers a variety of attractions and activities. It features a jogging track, stage for events, and indigenous plant life. Despite its location in the bustling part of the city, the park provides an open and serene environment for personal relaxation or enjoying the scenery. The iconic fountain statue depicting two slaves symbolizes the strength and resilience of the Jamaican people.
This is a very nice park. It was decorated with holiday decorations and fully staffed. The walk trail needs correction but overall this would be a great place to walk/jog/run. They even have a workout section that is open early mornings. Luckily I stayed in the area so I was able to pass through a few times. I also saw peaceful places you could sit and enjoy the day. I would definitely come back to this park and I suggest others come visit as well.
Aminah I — Google review
I visited Emancipation Park recently and honestly, it’s one of the nicest spots in Kingston. The place is so peaceful and beautifully maintained—perfect for walking, jogging, or just relaxing on the lawns. I really enjoyed the tropical gardens, the fountains, and how clean and inviting everything felt. The Redemption Song statue at the entrance is absolutely striking. Standing there, it really makes you pause and reflect on Jamaica’s history and resilience. I also loved noticing the cultural designs worked into the benches and fences—small details that make the park unique. What stood out most was the atmosphere. There were families, joggers, and tourists all enjoying the space, but it still felt calm and welcoming. It’s a place where you can clear your head, enjoy nature, and also feel connected to Jamaican culture. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to add more shaded seating areas and maybe a few more water fountains—it gets really hot during the day! But overall, my experience was excellent. I’d definitely recommend Emancipation Park to anyone visiting Kingston. Whether you want to exercise, relax, or just take in some culture, this park has it all.
Nicholas D — Google review
Well kept lawn/garden, very clean with lots of mature trees to keep you cool if you decide to relax under one of the many trees. It would be better if there were multiple entries as for those with mobility limitation it's challenging to walk around the park after parking to gain entry. This needs to be changed to accommodate everyone.
Empressfaithful — Google review
Truly incredible to see in person! Disappointed in who they chose to place as the first two statues, lessening the impact of the memorial. The park itself is gorgeous! Aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of room to sit, run, play, and eat. The staff does a great job of keeping everything beautiful and clean. Please support the vendors outside of the park; and the restaurant across the street, Sweetwood Jerk, is amazing!
Shani S — Google review
I recently stopped at Emancipation Park on Labour Day and absolutely loved this small yet relaxing space! A sound-check crew was busy preparing for a gospel concert later that evening, which added to the park’s lively atmosphere. The park is beautifully maintained, with a lovely balance of trees, flowers, and shrubs, enhancing its natural charm. One main point of interest that caught my attention was the breezeway, where I admired the seven National Heroes: Nanny of the Maroons, Paul Bogle, George William Gordon, Samuel Sharpe, Marcus Garvey, Alexander Bustamante, and Norman Manley. Each head monument has an engraved introduction that provides insight into their significant contributions. At the end of the breezeway stands the iconic themed “Tribute to Freedom,” featuring a pair of impressive 11-foot bronze statues titled “Redemption Song.” They depict a Black man and woman gazing towards the sky, located at the south-eastern entrance of the park. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would wholeheartedly encourage anyone, whether visiting or local, to stop by this iconic park. It’s a wonderful opportunity to appreciate and learn about a piece of Jamaica’s rich history!

The Bob Marley Museum, located in Kingston, is a must-visit for reggae enthusiasts and anyone interested in the life of the iconic musician. Housed in his 19th-century home, this museum offers guided tours that provide insight into Bob Marley's life and legacy. The colonial-era wooden building has been preserved much as it looked during Marley's time there and is filled with memorabilia, including his gold and platinum records.
The gentleman guide was quite entertaining on the tour of the house, there was a 'sing-a-long' vibe which was hard to resist, certainly on our visit it was worth the entry fee. Perhaps it was the time of the day but the food outlet had very little that was 'ital', they had beer which covered the issue! I was able to get a parking spot without too much difficulty at the venue. Would be a nice house to live in... if it wasn't a museum!

This was a great tour! So much history. The tour took an hour. The history and information was great, but there was very little time to enjoy and take in the artifacts. It would have been nice to have some time in the rooms to really look at everything. Although I wouldn't want the tour to be any longer. 1 hour was plenty, but a little time set a side to really take in the art would have been better.

Visiting the Bob Marley Museum was an incredible experience! Our guide, Irie Sue (Susan), was amazing her energy, humor, and deep knowledge carried us back in time to relive the life and legacy of Bob Marley. She made the tour unforgettable, sharing stories that brought his music and message of love and unity to life. The museum itself is full of history Bob’s home, studio, awards, and personal items are all preserved, giving a real sense of who he was beyond the music. You can feel his spirit in every room. If you’re in Kingston, this is a must-visit. And if you can, ask for Irie Sue as your guide—you won’t regret it!

Escape the coastal heat and venture into the captivating Blue Mountains, Jamaica's highest mountain range. These rugged peaks offer a refreshing change of scenery, with lush landscapes and breathtaking views at every turn. The area is renowned for its production of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, grown on verdant hills that form the longest mountain chain on the island. Driving through this picturesque region reveals small coffee plantations offering tours and opportunities to purchase this world-famous coffee.
If you plan to visit Blue Mountains for the day then I would highly recommend going from the Portland side. Hike through the mountains; see the coffee farms and flora. Go swimming at the waterfalls within the mountain and do some biking downhill for some thrills. If you plan to stay overnight, then I would travel from the Mavis Bank side and stay at one of the cabins there. Going to the peak of the mountain is a must and I would recommend hiking as early as possible to catch the sunrise. I've been too many times and I'm sure I'll be visiting again soon.

Water was Ice cold if you ask me. The trail was long, arduous, hard on the knees and feet. Reaching the peak was worth it. Very satisfying and breathtaking. Major Letdown: GARBAGE along the trails and at cabin. Very disheartening to see just beauty being disregarded like that.

Free, clean, beautiful and quiet beach. Had a nice, chill day on the beach with a lovely coconut stall to get a sweet and refreshing drink. Seems remote and exclusive but just speak to the security and they will gladly assist you.

Rio Grande is a majestic river located on the northeast coast of the country, near Port Antonio. The area is surrounded by lush tropical jungle and offers outdoor activities such as rafting on the Rio Grande and swimming at the Blue Lagoon. The sleepy town of Port Antonio provides a glimpse into Jamaica's arts and crafts scene and small-town charm, with attractions like Frenchmans Cove and a quaint market town.
Great experience. Definitely stop off to get some food. We arrived as a big group (hence the many rafts together - we especially asked for this, otherwise you have a more private tour). Please tip the rafters well if you're happy with your experience. 😉

One of my favorite experiences in Jamaica. Price is the best captain - number 111, ask for him If you can! Honest, professional and caring guide. We felt so safe in his hands. He took us to the most beautiful spots around the river and even have us a lesson on how to operate the raft! We had a long, refreshing swimming break in the river and visited the mermaid rock. Such a peaceful experience. My advice is to go early (10am) and avoid the crowds!
