Landmark
El Arco, or the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, is a stunning natural rock formation that rises majestically from the ocean, creating an iconic landmark at the meeting point of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. This geological wonder is part of a larger area known as Lands End (El Finisterra), where visitors can marvel at unique rock formations and often spot playful sea lions basking in the sun on nearby rocks.
We had the best time exploring this place. This was certainly a highlight of our trip here. We did the private boat trip, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about this area and surrounding area as well. The boat was equipped with life vests and the boat seemed new and clean. Would and recommend going for this experience. You’ll enjoy your time here!
Mahesh N — Google review
Simply amazing, especially at sunset! Fish jumping everywhere. Pick your tour carefully through. Booze cruise party? Quiet dinner cruise? Lots of options here.
Tad R — Google review
I went back in July,it didn’t disappoint! It looked so good seeing the rock formation surrounded by the Sea Of Cortez. Every angle I saw it at it looked so cool! All the other rocks nearby also looked good, but the arch was the best.
Krish T — Google review
So pretty here!! Rented a boat with just me and my husband, went out to the water about a hour really got to enjoy the view and took about great pictures too
Ivy X — Google review
Family came here Nov 3rd 2025, Carnival 5 night Cruise, took shots as we were coming in. Glad we were on the left side of the ship, also was able to capture the sunrise.
Johnathan I — Google review
Definitely worth taking the time to see the Arch up close in person when you visit Cabo! We went on two excursions that took us right by the Arch! Such a lovely sight from the water, especially at sunset! We went at the beginning of May and it wasn't too crowded, we were easily able to get great pics without other boats and people in the photos. There are excursions where you can actually enjoy the beaches near the Arch as well. We went on a dinner cruise as well as a wine and jazz sunset Cruise, the sites were absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed both of our experiences but I know there are so many others out there too!
Sabrina K — Google review
This place is magical Got to see jumping rays and sea lions It was beyond romantic... if you have the option, GO! Did a sunset cruise with Eco Cat catamaran and was not disappointed at all! It was probably a sight and night I will never ever forget!
Kimberly M — Google review
We went here on a glass bottom boat ride and got to sail on both the sea and Cortez side and the Pacific Ocean side. It was amazing! On the Pacific Ocean side is a big beach where they filmed the original planet of the apes from the 1960s where the Statue of Liberty Head was on the beach.

Mt. Solmar

Mountains
If you're looking for an exhilarating yet accessible adventure in Cabo San Lucas, a hike up Mt. Solmar is a must-do! This rugged peak, located at Land's End, offers breathtaking views that make the effort worthwhile. The ascent is manageable for most ages and takes about 25-30 minutes of steady climbing on natural rock steps. While the trailhead can be tricky to locate since it’s on private property near a dog shelter, some online research will guide you there.
Yo have to meet at the gate opposite l the naval base so the guy who runs the stray dog charity can let you in. He’s quite the character, but there are usually LOTS of people. Recommend standing over to the left after you enter the compound so you can be in the first group going up, otherwise you get caught behind the stragglers. Unfortunately, we were near the back so it took forever to get up there. Be prepared with good footwear since you do have to climb over a few rocks. If you are a seasoned hiker, this is no problem but if you are caught in the back, it does take a while. Once you get up there, you have to wait until till he’s ready to come down, which is usually around 40 minutes. Bring lots of water and find some shade in the hot sun. The best view is up to the left overlooking lands end, but you can’t really go wrong because you get a 360° view.

Had the pleasure of doing this hike twice June 11 & 13 ... Enrique is a spiritual soul. He will speak to you about the physical energy of the mountain and its positive effects on the human mind. Do try breathing into the mountain slats at the top. Enrique will guide you. Dogs are friendly and Super buddies to have on the hike. Bring water. After the 1st general group stop, prepare yourself to stop twice on the way up if you are not used to heat walk/climb. I say that because oftentimes you do rely on upper strength to pull you up. Your cardio will elevate. Remember, no rush to the top. Enrique and his guides stay there for quite a while allowing you to see Lands end and the backside as well as the beautiful town of Cabo San Lucas... I did it twice for a reason... Enjoy ....

Enrique is a knowledgeable about the history and culture, caring, and a dog loving man! My husband and I loved the hike ! Great workout and amazing to do with the dogs! Bring water, hat and sunglasses, camera, money for donations and next time I’ll bring gloves for my hands when climbing up and down rocks. Great experience! I’m in awe how he can do this almost every day! Inspiring!!
Aimee B — Google review
I was terrified of going on this hike but it was totally worth it. It is hard in the steep parts, but I think Enrique’s energy and good vibes just keeps everyone safe. Do have a carrier for your water bottle so you can have your hands free as you’ll need them going ip and down to grab o to the rocks while hiking. The view is amazing and everything that Enrique taught us was very interesting, one of the highlights of our Cabo trip
Lina B — Google review
Fantastic experience. Enrique was an amazing guide. Bring tennis shoes, there is some light climbing involved to get to the top.
Russell B — Google review
Hiking Mt. Solmar in Cabo San Lucas is an absolute must if you’re visiting! The guided hikes take place daily at 8 AM, Sunday through Friday (closed on Saturdays), and start right on time—so don’t be late. Be sure to bring plenty of water, stretch beforehand, and get ready for a steep incline that will definitely get your heart pumping. The land is privately owned by Enique, who leads the hike himself—completely free of charge. He’s incredibly friendly, outgoing, and fun to talk to. Enique also runs a dog training and rescue camp on the property, so please consider leaving a tip at the end to support his work. The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking, and the ocean breeze makes it even more rewarding. This was hands down one of my favorite hikes—right up there with the Nā Pali Coast in Kauai. The sight of the Pacific from the Baja California coast is simply unforgettable!
Jimmy — Google review
This is a must do when in Cabo! But be ready for a challenging and difficult hike if you're older. I am 66 and found it to be hard, but not impossible. Enrique, our guide is awesome and knowledgeable about the history of the area. The hike is free. Just show up at 8 am. My suggestion is to bring water and a pair of gloves and good hiking boots. The view from the top is gorgeous and amazing. Well, it's worth the time to do this hike.
Jesus H — Google review
This hike with the dogs was one of our favorite activity we did during our stay in Cabo! The view at the top made the best pictures from our vacation. I really recommend this for anyone who enjoys physical activity and dogs. This hike isn't for everyone though.. if you never go at the gym or dont do much sports you will find this hike challenging. We started the hike with over 100 guests, and approximately 50-70 people completed it to the top. Its not hard at all if you are into fitness or mediocre in shape. Definitely wear shoes and not sandals. There is over 10+ dogs that hikes with us, which all belongs to the guide. All the dogs are super friendly and sociable. If you are afraid of dogs dont worry, if you dont pay attention to them they wont bother coming close. The guide obviously enjoys doing this. Keep in mind this is completely free of charge. You dont need to pay anything. Simply arrive on time, right before 8am. If you arrive at 8:05 the door might be locked. If you cant find the place simply try to follow the dog barks and you will probably see a huge line up of people. You can give a tip to the tip jar at the end of the hike. Give whatever you want :)

Pelican Rock is a popular snorkeling spot located near the iconic Arch of Cabo San Lucas. It is known for its rich marine life and decent visibility throughout much of the year. The area can get busy due to boat traffic, but it remains one of the best snorkeling locations in Los Cabos. Lovers Beach, adjacent to Pelican Rock, offers a calmer experience for those seeking relaxation.
A memorable first boat experience for our three-year-old to Pelican Rock! A perfect length short excursion for young kids to leave from the shore to see the arches.
Pamela C — Google review
The “glass bottom” boats that you can take to Pelican Rock leave something to be desired but the experience you get you will remember. Our time at Pelican rock included a stop over at Lovers and Divorce beach as well!
Eric A — Google review
I'm not 100% sure what the significance of Pelican rock is, although there seemed to be a lot of boats hovering around it.
Graham T — Google review
Pelican Rock and the surrounding water is simply fantastic, especially if you want to snorkel or dive. The rocks provide a bit of an enclosure for you to be able to swim easily. The species of fish you will find are plentiful and you will not miss out seeing hundreds of fish literally. Easy water taxi ride over and well worth it. By far one of the best areas to swim in the ocean, especially if you aren’t looking for the typical Beach with vendors. Do NOT miss Pelican Rock when visiting Cabo San Lucas!
Vincent I — Google review
Trigger warning:. DO NOT DO THE SNORKELING WITH A GUIDE ON PELICAN BEAXH. There is a man named or called “Stephen” who is 27 who was on Pelican Beach August 13 2025. If you are a single woman, this is not a safe place. You should not go alone & you should never go with him. Do not do the guided snorkeling. It’s dangerous. He was very inappropriate in explicit ways I will not write here. I was terrified. Thank God I’m a strong swimmer. I can only imagine he’s so confident because it’s a pattern. Be careful. This is not safe. I swam back to the beach, filled with other men that I did not know were in in some evil thing or I could speak to. I went to the most crowded area on the highest point of the very small ‘beach’ as far away from his as possible. I had the guide who booked my ‘tour’ on WhatsApp and told her to send the boat immediately and I was there on that beach, terrified for 20 minutes waiting for the boat. It’s not safe.
Devin — Google review
Gorgeous beach and awesome snorkeling! Cheap 5 min ride on a water taxi to get there and they come back to pick you up when your ready. Soft sand, crystal blue water and AMAZING views! 10/10!
Kacee W — Google review
You can bargain for the water taxi. We got it to be 8$ per person with boat taking us to the rock and waiting for us to jump off the top couple of times. Then taking us to the beach and picking us up later in the day. Originally they wanted 30$. Water is deep and the jump is super fun! Sometimes waves are high and they won’t let you go to the beach so maybe call in advance!

To ensure a smooth experience and avoid any potential scams, it's advisable to book tours through reliable travel apps or directly at designated booths near each pier.
Went whale watching with my friends, we had a great time, we were able to see the whale jump all the way up, just sad wasn’t able to capture the moment on camera
A Y — Google review
12-26-23 Extremely busy with watercraft of all types and sizes including cruise ships, yachts, jet skis, you name it. Found the number of sea lions in the bay neat as they are avoiding orcas from what we are told. If you like the touristy landscape around the water, including a ton of boat traffic, then you will love this bay. Otherwise, there are better places.

El Medano Beach, located just south of downtown Cabo San Lucas, is the main beach in the area and a bustling hub of activity. This crescent-shaped swimming beach is packed with visitors, locals, and vendors offering various water activities like kayaking, jet skiing, and parasailing. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, heading to the south end or nearby Playa Chileno for snorkeling in clear waters can be a great option.
Amazing beach, cold water it is. Make sure to head right if facing ocean cause beach there is more shallow and has no waves. Make sure you take at least U$100 with you cash, that's what you'll pay for 2 sunbeds with umbrella, 1 snorkel gear, 6 fresh oysters and a light lunch. Add another U$60 for a 30 minutes waverunner ride.
Ivan C — Google review
Very nice sand and clear water, it is a very pretty beach. There are many many peddlers selling their wares so not a lot of peace to yourself on this beach. We had a hard and impossible time trying to find a decent Margarita for under 20$ dollars.
Nadine C — Google review
This is such a nice short walk from my hotel. Leading up to the beach, you will pass through cobblestone pathways, restaurants and shops. Medano Beach is one of the few places where you can swim in the ocean. The sand is such a beautiful golden brown. There are a lot of areas to lay your towel down or rent a lounger / day bed. A lot of food options with restaurants and lively music. You can also take advantage of the water activities like banana boats.
S J — Google review
The best and maybe only beach you can swim in Cabo with safeguards and so many amenities around from relaxing beach clubs like Corazon, Sur or Tamara, to more lively beach clubs like Taboo. Just walk by the beach and choose the beach club that fits your mood. Most beach clubs give you beach bed for a deposit you can use toward food and drinks. The water on calm days is suitable for swimming and the water temperature is great.
NS R — Google review
Very nice beach. Great for families. You can swim/tan/explore the tide pools looking at crabs! It can get a bit crowded, but worth it for the free parking and bathrooms! Bring your snacks because there’s really no food accessible.
Riley S — Google review
This is most happening beach in cabo. There are many stopping and very good restaurants.. the water taxi takes from marina to this.beach for 5 to 7 dollars per person. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas if you needs. Most of the water activities can be done here like jet ski, snorkeling and other..
Suresh B — Google review
Crowded but pretty, well-kept beach. Much harrassment from vendors selling all kinds of trinkets.
Dolly L — Google review
Beautiful and Lively Beach with Something for Everyone Medano Beach is a must if you’re in Cabo! It’s a public beach with access points every few blocks, even though it’s surrounded by hotels and resorts. It’s super easy to get to, whether you’re staying nearby or just visiting for the day. There are tons of beach clubs if you’re looking for food, drinks, and music—but be ready, prices are high, as you’d expect in a popular tourist spot. That said, you can also bring your own drinks, umbrella, and chairs and just relax on the sand, which is a huge plus. Yes, there are plenty of vendors walking by trying to sell you things, but honestly, they’re not too pushy and usually take a polite “no thanks” well. Overall, it’s a very nice and family-friendly beach with beautiful water, great people-watching, and a fun vibe. Perfect spot to spend the day!

Plaza Puerto Paraiso

Shopping mall
Shopping
Nestled in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, Plaza Puerto Paraiso is a modern and luxurious three-story mall that offers a wide array of shopping, dining, entertainment, and services. With over 100 stores including international brands like Adidas and Lacoste as well as traditional Mexican boutiques, it has become the social hub of the city. The mall's striking architecture features mosaic floors and cascading waterfalls, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors to explore its offerings.
I did some banking and went to the wonderful grocery store there. Free parking with shopping at the grocery store, too! The plaza is so big and beautiful. It's a pleasure to go through it. There is plenty of garage packing. The usual cost is 30 pesos. Free w going to the supermarket. Enjoy your shopping and eating there! The plaza is a great addition to Cabo San Lucas. The supermarket has a wonderful selection of delicious baked goods. What you can't get in Costco you can get here! A great shopping center with brand named stores. The supermarket is a wonderful place to buy your grocery items. Banking.Casino.Multiplex movie theater, too! I had a nice walk around looking for a silver turtle necklace for my great granddaughter. She said she wanted a turtle sulpture. Since her birthday was coming up, I found what she will be very happy with. Plus I took care of some banking, too! This is a great beautiful mall! Today I'm going to Intercam Bank. The plaza has luxury shops, casino, cinema restaurants and a food court. The plaza has many named shops. Handicap parking is available in their garage. Don't forget to pay for exit using the machines at the exits and other locations. If you shop for 30 minutes or less the parking is free. Otherwise, it is 30 pesos. The third floor is the Casino and Intercam Bank. You can walk up or use the elevator. You should be able to find what you need here. plenty of quality shops to spend your money in. Enjoy! This is some large shopping mall. It was damaged many years ago and is still improving and expanding its coverage. Now they have a deluxe supermarket, too! Great shops of well know brands. You should find whatever you need here. Even a food court with a Burger King and Subway. The Chinese was good today. We were so hungry while trying to set up a new checking account with Intercam Bank. Americans and Canadians like to use this bank. Movie theater. Casino. And more. Plus plenty of parking at 20 or 30 pesos for hours of use. No problem here. Walk the marina and have food and drink while you're parked here. Go see for yourself what this wonderful shopping center has to offer you!
Bob M — Google review
A small square in front of a large shopping mall. It’s part of the concrete jungle of the Cabo marina. There are many shops like any other mall anywhere. On balance, it’s nothing really memorable. Having been constructed in a heavy tourist area, one would have expected something extraordinary.

Excellent high end shopping mall in Cabo! There's a decent food court, lots of staple and unique stores, amenities, and incredible bead art!

This shopping mall had something for everyone in the family. My husband purchased some jewelry at a very reasonable price. You have to keep negotiating to get the best prices. They have plenty of restaurants too.

Very bad experience at Banorte (bank inside near market). I was waiting for over 20 minutes while they served other people. I guess because I am an American Citizen. Made me take off hat while others kept their caps on. VERY DISRESPECTFUL & DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE to say the least!!! Do not go here!!! Besides they only have $17.90 exchange rate for US Dollar. Other places have for $18 or $19 exchange rate. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

An interesting mixture of shops. Mostly known high end stores with some souvenir shops tossed in. A casino and movie theater with both English and Spanish movies. A lot of art throughout. Outside has children’s play areas and a few kiddie rides - but no one was there to operate them.
Debby — Google review
I'm not a shopper, so only 4 stars as this is for high priced shopoholics! Many fancy stores and beautiful setting with ideal location in Cabo San Lucas. Best part to me is the new Cheddraui grocery store there! Walking distance and good sale priced items. Also can get brand name toilet paper and the like! Don't laugh, that's important! 😅
Susan H — Google review
Food bad at all restaurants except Asian, impossible to het into a non buffet restaurant after 7:30 although they close at 9:30 waited almost an hour for towels that housekeeping did not replace when room was serviced, restaurant was being cleaned from previous night during breakfast while we ate, bedding was soiled. Grounds were beautiful and pool party was fun. Too many cons for me to return. I expected more from the RIU brand.

Went with a group of 8 today and it was a great time! Richy and Panda at the ATV were great! Took their time to help us understand the how to use bikes and showed us a great time. The camel guy, zip line guys and horseback riding guys were also amazing. Would recommend taking a trip and getting the day pass.

The park had many excursions to do in one day! So much Fun! Make sure you get the full day pass and try them all if you have enough time!
Stephen M — Google review
We paid $65 USD per person for our family to use the water park, when we got there to use it, the park was closed due to chemical reasons. Miguel (the safety agent) told us to talk to our manager at the Grand Fiesta Americana (where we booked the activity). Never got the money back, we basically paid for an activity that we never did.
JT T — Google review
Our family a group of more than a dozen purchased all activities pass for more than $3.5k and couldnt do more than 3 activities.even though the park closes at 5pm all the activities closes at different times and mostly earlier than 5 pm. The zip line looks so attractive and adventurous but it’s very exhausting and tiring because of the hike n walk between them. Their main attraction according to their promotion is driving the ATV on the suspension bridge but we had to literally argue with them to take us through the bridge cause they were giving us silly reasons to avoid the bridge. Overall we felt like we could have spent that money well in other excursions. This is our opinion and we understand everyone’s is different.

This park is full of amazing activities and fun! The staff was wonderful and made sure to give an unforgettable experience. I rode the atv and Sebastian was my tour guide. I can’t wait to go back!
Rebekah F — Google review
My husband and I just did this tour. We were signed up for the park pass which let us have a little bit of each adventure. The ATV and UTV were pretty fun and I enjoyed the camel ride. Marcel was amazing as a coordinator and Valeria was beautiful, knowledgeable, and informative when we did our tequila/mezcal tasting. Unfortunately, my husband got stung by a bee on the zipline (he hit the bee on the cable, complete accident). However, they have gone above and beyond to help us. David is the manager and he took us in his personal vehicle and drove us all the way back to Cabo San Lucas, took us to Walmart and a pharmacy to find benadryl and then drove us to our hotel. If I could give more stars, I would. I highly recommend this place and the people here are awesome.

Beautiful, clean, warm, safe. It's a gorgeous beach with lots of Pelicans to watch for. The waves are incredible and strong (swimming is not recommended)

This is a beautiful beach near the hotels in San Jose del Cabo. The entrance is at the end of the hotels on the main road if you are not staying in one of the hotels front beach. Beautiful sunrise. You can walk on it and get a nice tan, but it's dangerous for swimming. Not recommended for swimming. Many waves.
Jaddiel P — Google review
Love them waves and you can also catch fish by the shore or on a boat or just relax and enjoy the Beach

Estero San José is a nature reserve located at the meeting point of the San Jose River and the sea, creating a unique salty environment that attracts various bird species and fish. The area offers hiking trails for observing wildlife, as well as horseback riding and kayak rentals for a different perspective of the herons, egrets, pelicans, and cormorants that inhabit the tranquil sanctuary.
I was so glad that I decided to take the time and visit this gorgeous natural estuary. Not only was the scenery amazing, but the number and diversity of birds was great. The walk from centro out to the estuary was about 30 minutes along a main road. You could also take an uber. Once you get there, you will need to walk for a bit along the beach to get to the main part of the estuary. This isn’t an “activity” where you buy tickets etc, it’s just a part of the natural beach landscape that you can walk to anytime for free. I would recommend bringing binoculars to see the birds up close!
Liza G — Google review
As other reviewers have mentioned the estuary is somewhat rundown due to neglect, not the attraction it once was. With a little exploring one can still various birds
Darrel B — Google review
We did not know if we were in exactly the right place, but we made it to the estuary and only saw a small portion of it but spent hours there in awe of the beautiful scenery and the birds!!! I’ve never seen so many different birds all in one place - fantastic, just wish we had had the time to explore more!
Kori — Google review
So many different species! A beautiful place to bird watch.
Jen Z — Google review
A beautiful oasis in the resort zone of San Jose. Lots of bird watching and vibrant green colors. This is a public access are so completely free! You can enter through the city streets, or access by walking the beach. At some point you will be walking on sand, so plan footwear accordingly.
Shaunna D — Google review
Beautiful place to see birds and some other wildlife. I entered from the beach side after a short hike from our resort. From there I went inland. I did wish there was an easy way to get to other parts of the estuary from there, but it was still beautiful and worth spending my morning there.
Austin S — Google review
Very clean. I parked at the end of the street near the bike trail. Some of the left side was flooded with too much water but the right trail was fine. Walk straight ahead after you park and you will see the trail and a boardwalk. A friendly man from the horse rides showed me were to start. Lots of beautiful waterfowl and Seahawks. I saw a road runner, two turkey vultures as well a few tiny lizards. Very quiet except for with ducks. I wished I had a bird identification book with me.
Cynthia — Google review
Big Beach. Not much to do tho... Not swimmable, open sea. There's a place called "11-11" right at the entrance. Used to be the Holiday inn Hotel now abandoned and reconditioned as a skate park. Other than that there's only sand and the ocean. There's a Turtle Camp for sea turtles conservation, they catalog them, count them and every now and then they let people join the release of them to the sea.

Show was not really worth for high price, I really get upset because I was expecting Better Production. Stage and lighting was not professional, it was hard follow all production because of space. Place was not attractive and lots of bugs. It was not comfortable at all. Food and drink options was so poor. They charge $185 for VIP and it is worth of everything only $75 Max.
Sel ( — Google review
We drove up to the place while on a tour. The guide told us that there were many species of cactus grown at the nursery. We did not go in as there were a few other tours inside and this was not on our original tour but the guide wanted us to see it...one of the many little bonus side trips he included for us. It is a nursery for cacti...yeah?!?
Asad I — Google review
Wirikuta as a very relaxing and pretty place to go for the evening. The cactus garden nursery is very interesting. The evening show was wonderful and it relates to the native people. Don't expect flash and exciting things. It is an interesting show at a slower pace than a Las Vegas show. Save your money on the dinner. Eat before you go. We had a good time.

The show is decently good . I totally recomend the $20 bar , red wine was good . The only reason for 4 stars is , because nobody tells you about bringing repeallent for the mosquitos , and they dont sell it (which would be the american way ) .

Swim with Dolphins
Dolphin Discovery Los Cabos, established in 1994, is renowned as the top dolphin company globally. It offers interactive encounters with dolphins and opportunities to swim with sea lions and manatees. Visitors can enjoy a fun adventure ride and capture memories through professional photography. The experience includes engaging trainers, entertaining sea lions, and various interactive activities with dolphins. While some find the photo prices high, others see it as part of the vacation experience in this tourist-centric location.
Went to Dolphin Discovery Los Cabos with a group of friends. I've been with dolphins before in Punta Cana and conditions were much better here. The dolphins seemed happy and weren't covered in scares like I seen before. Danni the trainer, was perfect 👌 clear and loud English and answered all my questions

Came here with my wife and kids, definitely not for young kids! My 5 year old and 8 year old didn't want to get in the dirty murky waters...dolphin are the only nice thing about this place. Cameras are not allowed and the reason why is because they will gouge you if you want to purchase the pictures they will set you back $45 USD for single person lol I wouldn't recommend it and will definitely not come back! I also purchased 2 small stuffed animals and a Tshirt for my kids and that set me back over $70 USD. Way better things to do for the amount you pay!
Serpico L — Google review
This was by far the BEST excursion we did while on vacation. Truly a once in a lifetime experience! We purchased the Royal Swim package which included over 6 unique, interactive activities with 2 dolphins (Tango and Cleopatra) our sealife expert guide, Gabriel was knowledgeable and wonderful to interact with, with our English speaking group of 6. That package came with all of the dolphin encounter photos taken by their professional photographer, a camel ride, sealion encounter, speed boat ride along the coast of San Jose Del Cabo and a buffett lunch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ENCOUNTER FOR YOUR FAMILY!!!!
Michael T — Google review
The whole experience was worth it. All 14 of us had so much fun. Only bad thing was the picture prices . For 2 people it's like 170.00 so you might have 6 pictures or if your lucky you get 20 , but it's the same price . We where 14 and they didn't do group packages .
Sylvia A — Google review
Had a great time with the kids. Trainers were fun. The sea lions made everyone laugh. The photos are extremely expensive although remember this is a very tourism based area. This is how they make their money and is just part of the vacation experience. Was a great experience from beggining to end, the transport was great and we did buy the photos. I'm glad we did because now we have these memories to hold onto not just in our head.
Don W — Google review
Dolphins were fun to swim with and were very well trained. The 15 min speed boat ride and camel loop for about 1 min were also fun. Our driver was 20 min late to pick us up which made us do activities in an oddball order. They also claimed a kayak experience but we didn't get to ride kayaks because "they didn't have paddles". So a bit of a bait and switch. Buffet food was also not good at all. The real issue with this place is the photo racket they are running. Their prices are far beyond ridiculous and they will not even allow you to bring your own camera to take your own pictures. Because our driver was late to pick us up we did activities out of order. Then they wanted to charge us even more for pictures after we finished all the activities because they had already made a DVD of the first activities we did and didn't want to include photos of the rest of the activities. All in all they were trying to charge us $200 for around 100 pictures. This is far beyond reasonable so we ended up buying nothing at all.
Asiel B — Google review
Highly recommend it this once in a lifetime experience. We purchased the top notch ticket and it was well worth it. We were 1 of 3 groups and jealousy reared its ugly head because all we kept hearing was "we should have bought the tickets that they paid for.
Armando G — Google review
Dolphin Discovery is amazing ! The dolphins are happy. The trainers truly have a life long bond with these wonderous mammals. I have been several times. One of the best things to do is the free talk everyday at 3 PM. The trainers will explain the importance of protecting the environment and afterwards tou get to meet one of the dolphins. One of many great ways Dolphin Discovery gives back.

We went the weekend of Día de Los Muertos. It was beautifully set up and decorated and there were many artisan ma and merchants there, many of whom had at least some themed items. It was nice, respectful, not commercial feeling. The only thing was I guess I didn't understand the public toilets. No TP and it wasn't clear if the man outside then was selling it, because I didn't see any and he didn't make eye contact or say anything.

Churches & Cathedrals
Misión San José del Cabo, a historic Catholic mission in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1730. Initially located along the San Jose River, it was later moved several times due to various challenges including an indigenous uprising and natural disasters. The mission played a significant role in the Battle of San Jose Del Cabo during the Mexican-American war in 1847.
During my visit to Cabo on Feb 2025, I wanted to visit San Jose Del Cabo for the day. Our hotel concierge suggested to call for an Uber to the Mision, the heart of this neighborhood. This was my second time to visit this church. This time we came and sat down for a prayer before seeing the rest of downtown. It's a quiet church, old with a lot of generations of history. It's beautiful and reminded me of me of the cathedrals from my childhood city in the only Spanish colony in Asia. For hundreds of years my childhood country was tied in for commercial trade between Cabo and the Philippines. So it's special.

It’s a church in the old town city center. Well kept, and photogenic. Maybe people inside sitting and taking it all in. Donation box at the entrance.
TheDSsucks — Google review
We visited this location as a result of the tour guide bringing us by this church location. Prior to going inside this specific church location, our tour guide gave us a mini history lesson on how the church was destroyed and rebuilt through the last hundred years of its existence. The tour guide also covered a few of the involved people related to the church history. The outside of the church appears to be renovated and painted. The inside of the church had members inside praying upon our entry, so the group was extremely quiet and respectful of the individuals sitting in the church praying as we walk through to take photographs and view the church. We did find that the church is still functional on several days during the week.

This gallery stands out with its remarkable collection of religious-themed paintings, prints, sculptures, and home decor that invite deep reflection and emotional engagement. The innovative works of artist Ivan Guaderrama are not just visually stunning; they also incorporate cutting-edge technology to create an interactive experience.
We love Ivan's interactive art. It is very encouraging and uplifting. We purchased the interactive mirrors for friends to help cheer them up. We were very happy to meet Ivan and Imelba during Arts Walk at the San Jose studio. If you are in San Jose please go to the art district and meet Eric, who was so helpful in showing us the various pieces. We first purchased from their store at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in the Marketplace, but finally got to their prime location when both artists were actually there!

I love art but this is so much more than that! After hearing about Ivan at our resort, I knew I wanted to meet him or at the very least see his beautiful art. I felt certain he had a ❤️ for people and was a very kind, compassionate and giving person. After visiting his art gallery in San Jose, I was right. I did not get to meet Ivan personally, but I knew he had a love for our Lord and Savior the minute I entered his gallery; his art will express that in every way. We were blessed to meet people that work with him .. he, too, was very kind and caring and helpful as my husband and I walked his gallery and viewed his work. It is a definite must do if you are in the area. We were blessed to have been able to pick up a few of his pieces as gifts for our family; I am certain they will fall in love with it as we did. Thank you Ivan for sharing your gift of art and love for others .. it made our visit to the area one of the BEST years yet!

It's a Christian artist, but even if you're a non-believer or have another religion, you'll still enjoy it. I was going to post pictures, but I just realized I had so much fun, that I didn't take any!

It’s an interactive art gallery. Very spiritual and colorful. Some of the paintings come to life using your phone or you can touch/play some of the pieces and one piece of art was a keyboard. It wasn’t busy when I went in the evening which allowed me to interact with all the art work.

Place is amazing! Beautiful. Great service, amazing food and drinks. Everything is SO fresh. Kid friendly. We did the cooking class and made tamales, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. That came with a short walking tour as well. Very cool way to spend the morning/lunch, and so much more to look at after as you wander around the grounds. A+

Flora Farms is a beautiful restaurant with a fun vibe. It’s definitely family friendly with lots of outdoor space to explore. The staff members are pleasant, and the cocktails and live music make for a great day! There is a lot of crafty, fresh, and tasty things available for purchase. Food for thought: A one way cab ride from Cabo is $78 and an Uber is $35. Also, we visited Flora Farms for brunch at the end of July. The entire restaurant is open air with fans, so please dress accordingly, as it was quite hot! Prices listed are in Pesos, so do not panic!! Cheers!

Special place to visit with amazing food. The night we went, there was live music that made the vibe bougee. Service was on point though we felt hurried and spending $140 to get there from our hotel in Cabo made it feel less relaxing than the last time I was there. Craft cocktails were so fresh and tasty. This is gem of a restaurant is worth the extra $$ to get there if you’re up in Cabo proper just take your time and enjoy the scene and the shops.
Leanne B — Google review
Flora Farms absolutely lived up to the hype. The entire property is a vibe — from the moment you arrive, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most talked-about spots in Cabo. We started at the bar with some incredible craft cocktails, then sat down to find a thoughtful sign recognizing our anniversary. The service was among the best we experienced on our trip, and every dish we tried was fantastic. The bakery items were delicious, my wife’s daily special smash burger was exceptional, and my pizza was perfectly executed. The Farm Citrus cocktail was so good we ordered several. After lunch, we explored the beautiful property and wrapped up with a scoop of their amazing ice cream. We’d highly recommend this restaurant — and when we return to Cabo, it’ll be at the top of our list.
Matthew L — Google review
This is a unique place very much geared towards locals. It is such a great experience to try at least once. That being said the food definitely has a different taste from the rest of Cabo that some will either love or hate. Some tastes too exotic. On an unrelated topic they rescue dogs and have an area for you to adopt them and the whole farm has walkable gardens where they grow their own produce. They sell their fruits and vegetables along with honey and granola. Make sure you call and make a reservation.
Liz R — Google review
This should always be on everyone's "to do" list in San Jose del Cabo. This is one of the many farm to table restaurants here and it is our favorite so far. The service and atmosphere are top notch. While it is somewhat pricey, the quality of the food, the portion size, and the overall ambiance make this a fantastic restaurant. The staff immediately took our drink order and brought our drinks, along with some fresh homemade bread and some wonderful butter. This time we ordered the yellowfin crudo as an appetizer. It was thinly sliced, perfectly seasoned/sauced, and beautifully presented. I ordered the pizza fresca, which was a white pizza with lemon ricotta and thyme. The crust was perfect. I wasn't expecting a 12" pizza so I had to take half home. My wife ordered the small pork chop which was absolutely amazing. It was huge, moist, tender, and we both agreed it was the best porkchop we had ever had. It was served with a large potato and could easily have served 2-3 people. We ordered a side of glazed carrots with dates and honey and they were simply divine. For dessert we shared the mango panna cotta and it was delicious (and huge). All-in-all it was a wonderful meal. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Flora Farms is nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by lush beauty, warm smiles, and an atmosphere that feels like pure paradise. Louis, the manager, is the heart and soul of the experience — he always goes above and beyond to make me and my loved ones feel right at home. His genuine hospitality and attention to detail set the tone for an unforgettable visit every single time. The food? Simply out of this world. Every bite is a celebration of freshness and flavor — true Farm-to-Fork perfection. Everything is organic, seasonal, and bursting with creativity. The rotating menu keeps you on your toes and guarantees there’s always something new to fall in love with. Flora Farms isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. Between the impeccable service, breathtaking setting, and dishes that could earn (and deserve!) Michelin stars, this place will keep you coming back again and again. If you’re in Cabo San Lucas, do not sleep on this gem. Flora Farms is a must-visit destination that defines what world-class dining should feel like. 🌿✨ Thank you 🙏 again Louis for making our night special and memorable.

We spent an entire day at Flora Farms, and it was a wonderful day! We started with the tamales cooking class, which was a highlight of our trip. Then, I had a grounding massage, which was super helpful for my tight muscles and took place in the prettiest air conditioned yurt. After that, we did the couple's ritual at The Hive perfumery, and the fragrances we got to take home are so wonderful. We waited for our table at the bar, where service was great despite how busy they were. We finished the night with dinner, which was absolutely fabulous. The house made pasta was decadent, and the roasted carrots are probably the best I've ever had. Overall, a wonderful experience!

My boyfriend and I took a day trip with E in late January and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Edgardo is very knowledgeable about the area and enjoyable to spend the day with. He picked out the best excursion for us after we described our interests and abilities. We were blown away by the hike down into a through a canyon, the bouldering over rocks, swimming in the most picturesque (and deserted) natural granite pools. We biked on the way back and felt we got our fill of physical activity and adventure. Back at the starting point, E made us mango margaritas with mango from the garden there. This day was the highlight of our Baja California road trip!

Since the hot springs was full due to covid, and he showed us a beautiful local waterfall hike with lots of bouldering and diving off rocks. He was extremely careful about covid and took all necessary procations to make us feel safe. In the afternoon, he recommended us another local hike to explore by ourselves which was beautiful as well. The best part of the trip was definitely Edgardo’s sense of humour and energy! I would 1000% recommend his services :)

This is not to be missed. Edgardo is wonderful and will take you on a hiking adventure into the Sierra mountains including jumping into emerald green pools fed by waterfalls,. And you're the only ones there!

My family did the Combo tour (Land and sea) with Edgardo and it was incredible!!!! We had a few hesitations about camping on a vacation but based on the good reviews and reasonable price, we decided to go for it. So glad we did because it was such a fun few days that I'd do it all over again. We arranged with Edgardo to be picked up in Cabo San Lucas. Upon arriving into Santiago, we were given delicious mango smoothies. I mean, these are the mango smoothies that I will compare all future mango smoothies too. Then we took off for the first hike of our adventure. I loved how there wasn't a clearly defined trail. We passed NO ONE. The first pool of water my kids and husband loved jumping off of the boulders. The second one was just as fun and beautiful as the first. We ate a lunch of tamales and empanadas that Edgardo brought....so freaking good!!! After the hike, we went back to Santiago to gather our luggage. You had the option of riding a bike back or going in the vehicle to Santiago. Some of us biked while others went in the truck. We then made our way to the base camp that we'd spend 2 nights at. It's way out there and zero cell service but that added to the charm! Edgardo provided the tent, sleeping bag and pad. Dinner was made by the local family who owns the ranch we were camped at. The food was just fantastic. Nothing beats authentic mexican food with freshly made tortillas. The view of the stars at night was wonderful. The next day, Edgardo made a delicious breakfast including a yummy tea made from brewing the citrus leaves off a tree in the camp. Then we went on a longer hike that took us to a few more pools of water to play in. Again, no other people or tours. We had the place to ourselves. It was so nice to not feel rushed too. Edgardo wanted us to enjoy the time there. We ate a lunch of sandwiches, chips and fresh picked grapefruits before continuing to explore. Dinner was again with the local family. Had this great hibiscus drink with dinner. The next morning we got up early to make it to the Santa rita hot springs before it filled up due to the covid capacity of 24 people. Hot springs were nice and relaxing. Then we explored further up to two more pools of water and little waterfalls to play/relax by. We then made our way back to Santiago and made pizzas to cook in his clay fire oven for lunch. Such a fun experience. My kids thought it was so cool to put in and take out their own pizzas from the fire oven. From there we drove to Cabo Pulmo. Edgardo arranged for us to stay at the Baja bungalows. In fact, I'm typing this up now as I lay in this comfortable bed. The place is Spacious and comfortable! We had the evening to ourselves and were in charge of our dinner. Then the next day, Edgardo came and made us pancakes with a delicious caramel chocolate tasting sauce plus mangos. So good! Then we did a snorkel tour he arranged with a local company which was nice though the water felt super cold. Edgardo made us a salad for lunch that my kids had multiple helpings of. Edgardo then met us to go do a coastal hike. It was beautiful! Sadly, tomorrow is our last day with Edgardo. Again he plans to come make us breakfast and he'll take us to a new beach and another hike before saying goodbye after lunch. I know tomorrow's adventure will be fantastic because everything else has been so far. My kids said that he's their favorite tour guide EVER and I have to agree. He's just so nice and you can tell he genuinely loves the outdoors and showing people Baja. He's great with kids and fun to talk with. Communication prior to our trip was great and I felt he really listened to what I was hoping to see and do with the family. My kids had so much fun and we were all happily worn out by the end of each day. Edgardo also was very mindful of social distancing. He wore a mask when preparing food or when we were in an enclosed vehicle. Had hand sanitizer stations and soap. In my opinion this is a must-do tour. It's not fancy but it is special and you'll see things no other tour is offering.

When you think of Los Cabos, the stunning beaches often steal the spotlight, but don’t overlook the breathtaking interior landscapes! Rancho Ecologico Sol de Mayo is a hidden gem located in Santiago, just an hour's drive from San Jose del Cabo. Tucked away in the Sierra de La Laguna mountain range, this eco-friendly retreat offers a serene escape into nature.
We stayed in the RV Park and wandered around this beautiful place to discover fabulous brick cabins with electricity and hot water for showers. The restaurant serves chef quality food and servers speak better English than my Spanish. Of course, the waterfall and swimming hole in the desert was a unique experience. Wonderful that a treasure like this one is cared for by people who pay attention to nature. The gardens and small animals add an unexpected layer of interest to this spectacular place. Had the most fantastic lunch. The cook has gone to culinary school and it shows. The show stoppers here are the cauliflower tacos with an almond mole sauce (and I am not even vegetarian). Also you will never have tasted French Toast like the one they serve for dessert. We also had the flank steak tacos as well as the octopus tacos. We came for the waterfall but the food is what will bring us back

Absolutely beautiful and has exploded in popularity in recent years, and it'd be great if the owners/groundskeepers would actually bother to keep the place clean and organized, and perhaps even limit the number of people who visit each day, as the place can be an absolute zoo on the weekends. The food of the new restaurant is really great when the chef is there.

The waterfall and swimming area is terrific. Super nice spending the day on the rocks and then a cool off in the water. We drove and parked our Sprinter RV in the designated camping area for an extra $100 pesos per person. We had access to the bathroom a fire pit and water hose. We stopped for lunch a few KM before at a great little road side farm. Bill runs it. It was terrific. We had fresh bread avacado toast and fresh cesar salad. Was terrific. At the falls area we ate dinner and breakfast. Excellent food, but a bit pricey. No big deal given the remote location. Everyone there was so nice.

No longer a paradise? We came again since we loved this swimming spot 3 years ago. I am afraid it's past its capacity for visitors right now. A film of sunscreen on the water surface and hundreds of little fish nibbling on your skin the second you enter the water ( yuck!!!) indicate there might be just too many people coming for a dip. We have seen at least 50 people come in during our two hours midday off-season (in July). I am curious how many 250 pesos tickets this Eco actually sells per day. Restaurant was closed during our visit. Overall this was disappointing and not worth the trip.

Waterfall is unique. Small restaurant with limited menu. 350 to camp overnight. Lots of animals, donkeys, goats, rabbits, a peacock and budgies. No showers or I would have stayed longer.

Hands-down, one of the most beautiful places to visit. It is a natural wonder - like being in a Hollywood movie. The grounds are upkept very well and the price to enter is so reasonable considering you are covering the cost for the national park ie government charge - as well as the cost to upkeep the private road. Thanks for an amazing experience!! ✨✨✨✨✨

This place was 1st stop in our road trip in Baja and it was beautiful and surreal. Maybe because we were there during the week, but we hardly ran into people in our hikes to near by water fall and drive to near by thermal bath. Our cabin was very clean and insect free (surprisingly for the area), it was piece of luxury in a beautiful setting with a very basic kitchen that allowed us to prep simple food. We only stayed overnight but we definitely could have stayed another night as the king sized bed was very comfortable 😍. Would love to stay next time and try the restaurant food that another guest (didn’t even run into them til check out) raved about. P.S. the white kitty 🐈‍⬛ in the property is a sweetheart 😍, best welcome host😝

Juan is an incredible host and Fernando is a fantastic instructor. By the end of our stay, we were all able to confidently surf. The lessons were worth every penny. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible experience with CRT Surf School! From start to finish, the team made me feel welcome, supported, and completely at ease in the water. My instructor, Luis, was so sweet and patient—he made sure I felt confident every step of the way and gave me the encouragement I needed to catch my first waves. His teaching style was clear, fun, and motivating, which made all the difference for me as a beginner. A special shoutout to Juan, who went above and beyond to help me when we didn’t have a ride back to Todos Santos. His kindness and willingness to assist truly speak to the amazing people who make up CRT Surf School. If you’re looking for a surf school that genuinely cares about your experience and ensures you have an unforgettable time, this is the place to go! I can’t recommend them enough.
Mallory A — Google review
My family took surf lessons from CRT (we are 50, 47, 9, 15 years old) and had an amazing time! We each got our own instructor and all of us got up and rode! My daughter took an advanced lesson also because we loved CRT and Arturo so much! When you take a lesson, you also get an umbrella and two lounge chairs on the beach for the entire day for your use and your surfboard to use the rest of the day as well. Can’t beat the value, the location, and the staff. Top notch! The owners are Lifeguards and very safety conscious.
Melissa G — Google review
Best surf school in town! Juan the owner and his team are very friendly and nice people. I communicated with him via WhatsApp and got everything organized for lessons. He also gave my friends good pricing on surf board rentals. And the best part is after surf, you can hang out on the lounge chairs. The instructors Bryan and Arturo were amazing. Bryan took his time and taught me so much about the ocean! I appreciated him and his patience with me. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!!
Rosana M — Google review
Juan and his team are awesome! My wife and I had been wanting to take lessons for a while now. They set us up with chairs, an umbrella for the day, wetsuits, and personal guided instruction. My instructor was Fernando, and my wife’s instructor was Chris. Both were AWESOME instructors!! If you’re headed to Los Cerritos Beach, and are looking for lessons…CRT is your best bet!!!!
Marty L — Google review
We went to Cerritos because I wanted to surf. And Californias water is so cold, we set it up with Juan who was amazing and so helpful. But me and my Mom had Arturo privately and he was amazing. He was really helpful at teaching and explaining and when we went out very encouraging. It was my first time ever and I did good mostly because of the instructor. They have great equipment and everyone working there is nice. I went back with Arturo 2 days later as a private lesson because it was so much fun. Please support them they deserve it! Also it's way more affordable than a lot of places.
Daniela G — Google review
We tried Mario Surf School two days before and was not impressed, and our son surfed before so could tell the instructor did not want to be there. We wanted someone to teach him how to read the waves since he’s never been to Los Cerritos or surfed in Mexico before, so we tried CRT after Mario. It was a night and day difference — the CRT instructor was super friendly and we saw him really engaging with our son and cheering him on. CRT is more pricey but the quality was much better!
Jessica C — Google review
We went to the surfschool as a group of four. Everyone got their own surfing instructor! I am a bit scared of waves but the whole team and my surfing instructor were super nice and it turned out to be very fun! Would definitely recommend going there if you wanna try out surfing. The beach is also very beautiful and in the end we could even enjoy an amazing sunset!

Punta Lobos is a serene coastal area featuring large boulders and strong waves, making it a popular spot for swimming, surfing and fishing. Visitors are encouraged to support the local fishermen's cooperative by purchasing freshly caught fish directly from their boats in the early to mid-afternoon. The beach is accessible and has a beautiful cove, with sea lions and whales often spotted in the vicinity. It is one of the safest places along this stretch of the Pacific coast for swimming.
Beautiful beach! However we went on December and you cannot shower there...the waves were very high. As a sightseeing is beautiful tough.
Lisbeth V — Google review
This is what paradise looks like. Do yourself a favor, go on the hike right behind the area, come grab a drink at the hotel, read your favorite book, and go play in the ocean (carefully, waves are high, not for children).
Mo — Google review
Public beach, great place for buying fish from fishermen right off the boats near dusk. The sunsets are unreal!
Mike L — Google review
If you go to todos Santos, you can make a quick stop here, the truth is, it’s a place to go for a walk, see the sea and enjoy, the sea is very strong, so it is risky to go swimming, there were many boats leaving to fish and there is a resort in the area, but you can park, walk up the hill and admire the view, not to much to do but it’s relaxing.
Paulina M — Google review
Very calm moments watching the sun set at this beach.

Really amazing views, but you can’t swim here, if you enjoy doing hiking there’s a route to the top of the cliff around 1 hour hiking. It’s a really nice place to enjoy the sunset 😎

Interesting place. Local fishermen zoom their boats in on the big waves. Old ornate fish processing plant makes great photography and lots of pelicans. Because there's a luxury hotel there the road is excellent.

Went to this beach mostly so I could do the hike up the viewpoint. It's a quick hike (under an hour) and not hard. The trail is right beside the little chapel at the end of the beach. The beach is ok, the waves are rough so take care going in the water. It's not one for swimming.

Galeria Todos Santos is a renowned art gallery situated near the Todos Santos Inn, showcasing a diverse collection of paintings and sculptures by Mexican artists. It's one of the oldest galleries in town and is highly recommended for art enthusiasts. The staff are English-speaking and visitors praise it as a must-see destination, even if you don't make a purchase. Keep in mind that many galleries in the area are closed on Sundays, so plan your visit accordingly to fully enjoy the experience.
Michael and Erick are very talented visual artists who sell their works as well as the works of others in this gallery. They might be the friendliest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Michael tends toward larger works, with Erick producing whimsical smaller images. We walked out with what we could afford, and will return on our next trip for more. Art lovers are well-advised to stop by their gallery when in town.

Tortugueros Las Playitas A.C. is a non-profit organization located just north of Todos Santos, dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles in the Baja peninsula. Visitors can witness the release of baby sea turtles at sunset from December to February (and occasionally in March). The organization's efforts include protecting turtle eggs and educating the public about conservation. While it's not possible to interact with the baby turtles, witnessing their release into the ocean against a beautiful sunset backdrop makes for an unforgettable experience.
What a magical experience with the turtles! Grateful for this organization dedicating their work and lives to help the turtles. The young team of leaders doing the hard work day in and day out are remarkably knowledgeable, answering dozens of detailed PhD-level questions to the best of their abilities. I found it interesting to not only watch the turtles but the humans too...a highly unusual species with interesting behavior to say the least :)
Nick P — Google review
Daily release of some baby turtles at sunset (time varies depending on the season). Beach is quiet, not a lot of people and the sanctuary very rustic and in need of donations. The release was very informative and friendly although I feel bad for the two little turtles that are being shown. They seemed scared. Access is otherwise free and donations to the organization encouraged.
Fede C — Google review
Wonderful experience! Very informative presentation, volunteers were trying to answer questions in at least four different languages! Impressive to see young local kids with so much knowledge and dedication. Keep up the good work!
Mili C — Google review
They didn't release the turtles the night we went for a few reasons, but it was still great!! They brought some of them out in little tubs for us to see and it was awesome! That beach was beautiful with the sunset! Definitely going back!!
Carpenter S — Google review
What a wonderful experience to be a part of. Our family will never forget! These folks were helping to release baby tortugas into the ocean. Just after sunset we were able to take part in the release of 90 newly hatched turtles. They protect them from predators until they are ready for release. They simply ask for a donation if you participate to provide necessities for the task. There were around 100 people the night we went.
Adam V — Google review
This is experience was amazing. As we waited for sunset, whales went up and down the coastline spouting. Many even breached further offshore! Watching the tiny Olive Ridley turtles fight the waves to make it into the ocean was incredible.
Tyler L — Google review
I would recommend this bucketlist activity. As you park and walk out to the ocean, you'll see a fenced-in tent where the turtle eggs are in process of hatching. Usually, every evening at sunset, they release the baby turtles that were born that day. They set out several tubs with baby turtles and answer questions about the conservation efforts to help build the overall population. As there are several tubs, all should have an opportunity to take pics/vids up close. When the time comes, they carry the tubs to the ocean sand and set them free for the waves to carry them out. While waiting, we watched the large crashing ways and whale spouts while the sun sets. Very beautiful.
Scott A — Google review
Access down International road is fine in a car without 4x4. Great experience for all ages. Keep an eye on the horizon, for whales and pelicans. Make sure you leave a donation, the money helps ensure the volunteers aren't too out of pocket.
