Great NP, even during the shutdown. Visitor's Center was open and the shuttle was running (it ends October 19). Lots of varied hikes from 1 mile to some monstrous ones. Terrain was varied as well, some serious elevation changes and some paved accessible ones. Quite beautiful!

Beautiful hoodoos and great views! Recommend going to Bryce Point for the sunrise and going there at night to stargaze. The park entrance is also very close to the town, and there are shuttles in the park. You need a parks pass or proof of entry to use the shuttles outside the park. Also recommend going here in the spring or fall when the weather is nice; we went in April and there was still a little snow, but it also got very hot in the afternoons

Bryce Canyon National Park is one of those rare places that feels almost other-worldly. The moment you step up to the rim and look out over the amphitheaters filled with thousands of vibrant red and orange hoodoos, it genuinely takes your breath away. No picture truly prepares you for how surreal and massive the landscape is in person. What makes Bryce especially memorable is how accessible its beauty is. You can catch incredible views right from Sunrise, Sunset, Inspiration, and Bryce Points, each offering a slightly different angle of the canyon’s maze-like formations. But the real magic happens when you hike down into the canyon. Trails like Navajo Loop, Queen’s Garden, and Peekaboo Loop let you walk among the towering hoodoos, weaving through narrow passages and tunnels carved by nature. It’s hard not to feel tiny, in the best possible way. Another highlight is how the park transforms throughout the day. Early mornings glow with soft gold light, afternoons bring out the rich reds of the rock, and the sunsets are phenomenal. If you stay after dark, Bryce is also one of the best stargazing locations in the country—its night sky is unbelievably clear. Whether you’re there to hike, photograph, or simply soak in the views, Bryce Canyon feels like stepping into a natural cathedral shaped by time and elements. It’s a must-see national park that leaves you inspired long after you’ve left.

Bryce Canyon is absolutely stunning. The landscape is filled with towering spires of rock called hoodoos in deep reds, oranges, and whites. The trails are steep, challenging, and completely worth it. Every turn opens up a new and breathtaking view. What makes Bryce Canyon so unique is that it isn’t a true canyon but a series of natural amphitheaters carved by erosion and frost. The park sits high on the Paunsaugunt Plateau, with elevations reaching over 9,000 feet at Rainbow Point. A few fun facts: The park covers about 35,835 acres (roughly 56 square miles). It has the largest concentration of hoodoos in the world. The colors come from iron oxide and other minerals in the rock. The contrast of light at sunrise and sunset makes it one of the most photographed places in Utah. If you love dramatic scenery and rewarding hikes, this is a place you’ll never forget. Five stars from start to finish.

We went in early November and the crowds weren't to bad. The visitors center was still open even with the government shutdown. The views were stunning and breathtaking. Wish we could have had more time to do some of the hikes but we will definitely be coming back to see more.

Gorgeous. Don’t be afraid to go in a few basic hikes; they’re well worth it. Visit the welcome center and talk to one of the park rangers at a desk and get a plan for each day. Our ranger was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend specific hikes that were within our capabilities, including secret gems.

Such a gorgeous place — the views are breathtaking from every angle. It’s perfect for a one-day trip if you want to see something truly unique. It’s also a great spot to bring your do, there are a few dog-friendly areas where you can walk and enjoy the scenery. Definitely worth the visit!

I loved this place. Totally random visit, not planned at all. Was in SD for a week and on the last day we decided to visit on a whim. We went mid afternoon around 12:30 left around 4 and didn’t get to finish. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to leave. Would definitely go back! So many things to read and hear and conversations with employees to have. Got to meet a gentleman who lived and navigated the ship over 60 years ago! Even if you don’t care at all about this type of environment I assure you you will have a good time.

Let me start by saying I do not like museums. I LOVE this museum. I also love that they hire people and procure volunteers that are veterans so you obtain knowledge from the source. I loved their personal stories, hearing of their experiences overseas and of the carrier. I wish we had more time. The tour said 4 hours to complete. We had four hours. I wish I had four more, but we had a plane to catch. I would advise to download the parking app to pay over phone because I had to extend our time twice. I would say to stop by the Verizon table to pick up the audio tour guide that you tap at every station. Bring a water but if you forget there are vending machines and a diner on the carrier. Stop by the gift shop for memorabilia. Take the tour of the captains quarters, see if you have what it takes to be military intelligence, and tour the upper levels which requires ladder climbing so comfy tie up shoes is wise. Please come and listen to our service men and women that dedicated their lives to protect our country. They have wonderful stories to share. This museum is highly recommended.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! We visited the USS Pampanito years ago in SF and it was awesome! So we were definitely excited to see this one. Love that it gives us a small glimpse into what these guys had and went through because only they know what they saw and what they did during their time there. We walked through almost 90% of the ship but because we had our 3 younger boys we weren't able to finish the top portion. They do have a little quiz for the kids which consists of 6 questions they need to answer along the tour and at the end they get a pilot wings pin which is cute and cool. Definitely a must if you're visiting in the area. Beautiful views and the weather was perfect. During October kids do get in for free so get that deal and also I saw online that that EBT holders can get in for free(up to 4 people), its the Museum for All program so whatever the case go and visit!

I had to rate this wonderful exhibit of military history and power. My Navy daughter, granddaughter, and I, thoroughly enjoyed touring this historic aircraft carrier. From the long flight deck, numerous aircraft, to the interior halls, cabins, war room, and “Top Gun” fame, this historic exhibit should not be missed. The volunteer staff was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions. We got there a little late, and did our own walking tour, rather than utilizing the audio devices. However, we will probably go back again sometime in the near future. Thank you, US Navy for your service and protection of these United States!

Walking around this massive aircraft carrier, you really get a sense of what it was like to live and work at sea. This is one of those "must go to" spots in San Diego if you love history and appreciate our military. Give yourself at least 3 hours. We were at 4.5 hours when we called it. We saw everything except the island, as there was still an hour wait to see it. This is an amazing piece of history and allows for a whole new respect for the men and women that serve on our ships. We learned some new things we didnt know about naval history. The displays are well done. There's alot of walking so wear walking shoes for the most comfort. This does have wheelchair accessibility to many areas, but not all due to the nature of the ship, but definitely enough to make the trip worth it. There are also some height obstacles (my hubby knocked his noggin a couple times. Hes 6ft tall). But this museum is set up so incredibly well that you might get emotional. I also recommend the 15min movie about the Battle at Midway. Totally worth the wait. This is also kid friendly. Family friendly. But do keep in mind the timing to get thru the ship. Younger kids/ederly may wear out sooner than you're ready to leave. You can also get a hand stamp for re-entry if you wanna break up your day. We went too late in the day to do this, but its a nice option had we realized it ahead of time. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend and know you wont be disappointed visiting this amazing piece of history.

La Jolla Cove absolutely stole my heart! My son and I made it our morning ritual to visit the sea lions every day during our stay, and it quickly became the highlight of our trip. We would sit there for hours, just soaking in the beauty of nature and the sounds of the waves, the sea breeze, and the playful calls of the sea lions echoing across the cove. There’s something so peaceful and grounding about being there; it felt like time slowed down. The view is simply breathtaking, especially in the morning when the mist rolls in over the water. Every day was a little different: some mornings the sea lions were full of energy, barking and diving through the waves, while other days they were sprawled out like total beach bums, sunbathing without a care in the world. On weekends, it does get busier with tourists, but I didn’t mind at all. It made for great people-watching and added a fun, lively energy to the peaceful setting. The location itself is perfect… close to everything yet still feels like a hidden gem of natural beauty. If you visit San Diego, you must experience La Jolla Cove. It’s pure magic, a place where you can truly connect with nature and make memories that stay with you long after you leave.

La Jolla is a California dream—stunning ocean views, plenty of walking, and tons of spots for coffee, food, or dessert. Restrooms are right by the sea lions’ beach, and while parking can be tricky, nearby garages make it doable. Perfect for a day of exploring and soaking in the scenery!

Beautiful panoramic view of beach and shore. Lots of animals and birds to watch. Very cool and breezy at times. Parking is difficult so be prepared to park little far from this place.

Pretty great place to see birds and sea lions with an epic backdrop (if you can get over the smell) I saw a Brant’s Cormorant there and many more birds I will put pictures of below. Definitely should check it out. The sea lions and birds are so abundant and it is such a unique seen. You can park anywhere or walk if you are staying in La Jolla. Enjoy the photographs.

La Jolla Cove is an awesome place to visit near San Diego. It is just a short drive outside of the city and offers some beautiful coastline scenery and marine life. There were multiple sea lions and birds to see and it is a great experience.

should be on the list if visiting sandieog. dream for surfers. they have tours that do surfing and snorkeling. rental equipments available too. parking is very limited and always busy. we had to stroll around for 15min to get parking spot on Wednesday morning, though we got free parking for 3hours. plan your visit either early morning or evening to watch sunrise/sunset as it's picturesque. unfortunately we realized this once we visited it.

This is 100% a world class zoo. They make use of the space extremely well. There's plenty of walking to do, but they make it a wonderful experience. I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of conservation and research that they do as well. I learned all about it on the fantastic double decker bus tour, which I highly recommend. This was an experience that is second to none.

The San Diego Zoo is a must see on a San Diego visit! I would say it’s an all day event if you plan to see the entire zoo. I was there from 9am to 5pm! Make sure to bring your comfortable walking shoes! I would recommend taking their bus tour from the start and sitting on the to deck on the right side. You’ll see more of the attractions during the drive than the left. The bus tour is a great starting point and allows you to see a lot of the zoo and animals from a high POV! From there I recommend choosing your important must see animals and go from there! The air cable car is in the middle of the zoo and stops at the polar bear attraction so plan accordingly. Some people like to take it down at the end of their visit because you’ll end up at the entrance but there is more of a line. They do allow water bottles and food. Highly recommend drinking water as it does get hot!

Kendal and I visited the San Diego Zoo for his birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Although I’m not usually a huge fan of zoos, we couldn’t pass up the chance to explore this world-famous destination and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we walked through the gates, we were surrounded by lush greenery, vibrant habitats, and some of the most beautiful animals I’ve ever seen. Every exhibit felt thoughtfully designed to give guests an up-close look while still respecting the animals’ space. We saw elephants, lions, pandas, and even a few playful monkeys who put on quite the show. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and it was clear they genuinely care about conservation and animal welfare. One of the highlights was taking the Skyfari aerial tram, which gave us a stunning view of the entire zoo… perfect for catching our breath after all that walking! Speaking of walking, this zoo is massive, so definitely wear your most comfortable shoes. We also lucked out by visiting in October, when adults pay regular admission and kids get in free, a great deal for families! Between the breathtaking exhibits, fun learning moments, and the joy on Kendal’s face the entire day, it was hands-down one of the best birthday adventures we’ve ever had. Even if you’re not a “zoo person,” the San Diego Zoo might just change your mind. A must-visit for anyone traveling to Southern California!

I visited the zoo over four years ago and noticed significant improvements and new sections have been added since my last visit. The upgrades have enhanced the overall experience, making it much better than before. One of the highlights was the convenience of valet parking. I particularly enjoyed the reptile section, which was quite impressive. However, I did have to wait nearly 30 minutes to access the Panda section, which was less than ideal, but it was worth it for my kids.

Had the best experience visiting the SD ZOO, definitely not a 1 day experience, so many beautiful animals to see. So beautiful walking thru all the green forest/bamboo. Loved the tour bus & flying thru the sky... Staff was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Able to bring in own drinks & food. Which is super helpful when bringing kids.

An absolutely amazing experience! 🐯🌿 The San Diego Zoo completely blew me away hands down one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to. The layout is beautiful and super easy to navigate, the animals are clearly well cared for, and the whole place feels like a mix between an adventure park and a nature sanctuary. The staff were just just sooooo friendly, knowledgeable and amazing i never seen employees that care so much for their job and love it so much like the people in this zoo, the exhibits were clean and immersive, and there’s something new to see around every corner from playful pandas to majestic tigers and adorable koalas 🐼🦒. You can tell the zoo really prioritizes conservation and education, not just entertainment. Also, the Skyfari aerial tram was such a cool touch seeing the zoo from above was unreal! 🚡 Highly recommend spending a full day here if you can. It’s 100% worth it whether you’re with friends, family, or even solo. A true San Diego must-visit. 🌞❤️

There is so much to see at the San Diego Zoo, from animals and birds to plenty of shops and restaurants on almost every corner (be ready to spend some money). It is all worth it though. Walking through felt like a scenic hike. We got to feed the giraffes, checked out the reptiles, and even ride the sky tram and had a bus ride at no extra cost, which gave us the best aerial view of the entire zoo. I could easily go back again. It is best to arrive early in the morning since there is a lot to see and do. Kids will love it too, with fun activities like face painting available. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful oasis in the heart of the city. The zoo is the big attraction here but the Japanese gardens, natural history museum, air and space museum and many other attractions are in this park. You could easily spend multiple days here without running out of activities!

One of the best city parks ever! It’s large, well maintained, and in a pretty central location. Has tons of interesting places to explore, from the impressive architecture to the many museums and gardens. Lively, very aesthetic place and it’s easy to spend a whole day exploring this park!

How was Balboa Park? WET. A few folks mentioned how rare this was. We were also there on a local free day. I guess it is an honor system, as no one asked for ID, but we were willing to fess up to being from another State, where rain is a regular occurrence we are currently avoiding. Finally got into the large Botanical Building. The free Timken Museum of Art is closed M-Tue, RATS! Given that it was a free local day, there seemed to be adequate parking at 10, rain stopped by 10:30a, and we headed out. Expected a bit more of the Japanese Friendship Garden, and was surprised by cats comfortable enough to sleep in the open. Other spaces were hard to take photos of, absent other people. A public park being... public.

Balboa Park is a true San Diego treasure, and every visit confirms why it's a world-class destination. It’s more than just a park; it's a breathtaking escape that combines stunning architecture, lush gardens, and phenomenal museums into one unforgettable experience. You could easily spend an entire day—or an entire week—and still not see everything. We spent our day strolling along the Prado, captivated by the ornate Spanish Colonial architecture that transports you back in time. The gardens are a sensory delight, from the serene Japanese Friendship Garden to the vibrant blooms in the Rose Garden. The Botanical Building is a must-see, with its towering wood lath structure and beautiful koi pond. The best part? So much of this beauty is completely free to enjoy. For museum lovers, the options are endless. We visited the San Diego Museum of Art and were thoroughly impressed with the collection, but you could just as easily lose yourself in the Fleet Science Center or the Museum of Us. The options mean there's something for every interest and every age. Now, for those complaining about parking: 😡stop being lazy and get there early like everyone else. We arrived around 9 a.m. and found a great spot in the free Inspiration Point lot with no hassle. If you're not an early riser, there's a free tram service that will get you where you need to go. The park is massive, and a little planning goes a long way. Don't let your own poor planning diminish this incredible experience for others with a one star review😡😤. In short, Balboa Park is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is vibrant and inspiring, the grounds are immaculate, and the variety of things to do is unmatched. This is a five star experience from start to finish, and we can’t wait to go back.

Balboa Park will leave you in awe. With several museums, garden and San Diego Zoo to visit, you will never run out of things to do. It’s a great place to bring the whole family. I how educational and historical this park is. I would highly recommend this beautiful park to anyone visiting the San Diego area.

The environment is diverse, welcoming and secure. It can be busy but its worth the experience. There was ample parking regardless of the crowds. Me and my daughter visited the natural history museum, admission price was reasonable and the atmosphere was good. The exhibits were interesting. I would visit again.

This hike was amazing! 🌊 The entry fee was $20, and we drove all the way up to the top parking lot to start the West Overlook Trail (about 3 miles). The beginning was mostly downhill with incredible ocean views and cool lookout spots. The way back is uphill, so it’s definitely a workout—but worth it. I highly recommend wearing good shoes and bringing plenty of water, especially if you’re hiking midday.

Breathtakingly beautiful and serene! The mountains on one side and the ocean on the other side makes it even more scenic. So many beautiful trails leading to the peaks where you can watch the sunset or sunrise in the most spectacular views. I loved going here and will come back again and again! Hands down 5 star!

Beautiful beach, lot of trails - easy to moderate. Great views. I ended up doing many easy ones just for the views. Some trails can get very crowded and you may not enjoy the experience. Best solution is to go at your own pace and let the stream of people pass!! My best decision was to walk back along the beach after completing the trails. That was more adventurous and thrilling!!

Came here on a Friday afternoon late September. $20 day use fee. Did my hikes from the parking lot across the road from the visitor center. Good amount of parking. I could see it being an issue on really busy days. Porta potties there with hand washing stations. Pretty clean porta potties that didnt smell too bad. Decently warm day but there was a breeze most of the time making it pleasant most of the time. Hiked to Red Butte, Razor Point, Yuma Overlook, and the beach. Took a bit more than an hour including meditation and picture time. Downhill mostly to beach then back uphill to parking lot. Mostly gentle. Nothing too crazy. I am a middle aged guy that sits at a computer working everyday for most of the day and have some mild asthma and still did just fine. Amazing stuff. Although there were plenty of people there, there were still quiet times to enjoy the ambiance and sounds and meditate. Scenery is unreal, and the trails are well marked. Pictures I attach do speak a thousand words and display the incredible scenery. Got my beloved souvenir patch and postcards at the VC, which has no bathrooms or water for water bottle. Highly recommended. I posted lots of pics because this place deserves it.

This was an incredible experience. We drove up, parked and walked a trail. The view is stunning. I am so glad we decided to go here. After the hike we stopped by the beach. I'm so glad we came here.

A stunning place to hike in San Diego! You’ll see animals, geology, gorgeous ocean views, and our famous Torrey Pines. With parking lots both at beach level and on the cliffs, there are many options to start your hikes. There are numerous trails which intersect, so you can meander and never get lost. Whether you want an easy walk or a challenging hillside hike, you’ll find one here. This is a state park and admission at the time of this review was $20 per car. You can park on Torrey Pines Road for free if you can find a spot and walk in. We visited on a Sunday and arrived around 12 o’clock, so it was busy there was still still parking available. When we left at 1:30 it was much emptier, so mornings are definitely the busier time to go. I HIGHLY recommend Torrey pines for sightseeing and hiking. It’s the epitome of natural San Diego!

This is a must-do in San Diego. As a local, it has the most beautiful views and great hikes. For cyclists, going up Torrey Pines is a right of passage. Not for the faint of heart. Parking can be a bit challenging during the summer but it’s totally worth it. The best sunsets in San San Diego. Bring a picnic or a burrito from Roberto’s which is right around the corner and enjoy the nature!

This is a good place to visit if you are interested in California mission history. The original building was destroyed by an earthquake in 1812, and the church ruins and a variety of other original elements remain. Renovations in the 1970s brought reproductions of the many buildings, rooms, and a small chapel. There are beautiful gardens, and a museum gift shop. The swallows don't visit like they used to due to so much activity in the area. It cost $15 to enter, and we were there for about an hour

Alright California!! This Place is Cali Gold. The Historic Value of this place is Second to None. There is so Much History in its relationship to the Development of California. The grounds are very very well kept and the Guided tour is a must to get the most out of this Mission. Visit the Chapel on sight and the Ruins of the Original Chapel. Wow it's incredible. Great for Photos, a Date Day, and exploring for the whole family. Don't miss it. It's incredible and a must see for everyone!

We had the opportunity to photograph S & K's first look at Mission San Juan Capistrano, and it was truly a dream setting for capturing timeless portraits. From the soft stone textures to the iconic arches and bell wall, every corner of the Mission offered a stunning visual backdrop. The light was beautiful throughout the day, filtered, warm, and natural, ideal for both candid and editorial shots. There’s a peaceful, historic charm to the space that elevated the emotional energy of the first look, creating a moment that felt private, sacred, and cinematic. Mission San Juan Capistrano is one of my favorite places to visit because it holds a lot of fond memories for me. There have been many changes to the mission - especially after the pandemic. The East Gate is no longer open. You have to go through the tour to get into the original chapel. This was the side entrance we used to enter through when we went to Sunday morning Mass as a family. I love that the original Serra Chapel is still intact so visitors can marvel at the intricate details of the altar, handpainted walls, wooden pews, and the St. Peregrine Chapel. The grounds are also well-maintained and I especially love every bit of Mission San Juan Capistrano. Some of the newer things I liked was how they cleaned up the fountain and added koi fish. Overall, I love MSJC and how much of its history is preserved to this day. It’s a beautiful site to visit and to pray. I also always end my visits with a trip to their gift shop. The ladies who work there are wonderful.

What a beautiful, well maintained mission! Although there is now a fee to enter, it’s well worth the price. You can spend an hour or a day just walking the gardens and visiting the chapel. At the exit, there is a church store fulled with books, cards, collectibles, and other artifacts. It’s a fun outing! We are glad we took the time to visit!

This is such a beautiful mission. My kids had a fun time walking/running around and exploring. We were on vacation for my son’s Birthday and they gave us a discounted price because of that ❤️ Some of the areas were not easily accessible with our stroller - so my husband and I had to lift the stroller and carry it up the stairs to get around to the area on the path (the walkway was blocked due to set up for an event). Thankfully we could do that. We probably spent about 2 hours here. I do want to revisit with my kids and see the things we didn’t spend much time looking at. There is plenty of parking around - outside you just have to drive around to find it.

This is a beautiful and well taken care of Mission. Lots of stories told here about the indigenous people and how this Mission was successful and created things for trade. This place takes you back in time and explains the story of the swallow. I live in the area now and bring friends here to enjoy the beauty!

We rented two surreys to bike along the one-mile strand, $70 for one hour total. The weather was sunny and breezy. The walk along the pier was gorgeous, and we got to watch the surfers catch some waves. Parking was a challenge in the area.

Fun Stop when in Oceanside. I grew up coming to the pier in the 1970's. The buildings and businesses along the shoreline have changed but the Pier is still there. Multiple interations of the pier have stood for decades. The pier has been beaten by storms and most recently fire. The end of the pier is still closed but most of the pier is open to the public. Fishing is popular for many and the pier provides good spots. Rental equipment is available if you want to wet a line and don't have gear. Maybe, some smoked fish will soothe the call. Paid parking is available just south of the pier. Public restrooms are also available. The "Top Gun House" is across the street from the pier area. Take a walk down the pier and breathe in some sea air. You might spot some sea lions or even a dolphin.

The Oceanside Fishing Pier is a fantastic spot for a relaxing walk by the ocean. Whether you’re visiting during the day or at night, it offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. At night, the pier is beautifully lit, creating a calm and romantic vibe that makes it perfect for an evening stroll. It’s one of those places where you can truly enjoy the sound of the waves and the fresh sea breeze. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Oceanside!

I lived in Oceanside in the early 60's, when I was just a young child & my boyfriend & I come back every now & then to fish on the Oceanside pier & he loves fishing on the jetty, too! Before we even met, he told me he spent about a decade of his childhood & teens back in the 70s, staying in a condo in Oceanside, right on the beach, every summer! He just loved it, as it was nice to get out of San Bernardino County, where he grew up, to be by the ocean!

Stopped by the beach and pier for a date night. Beach was okay, but the pier was nice. It was pretty crowded near the pier when we went. Parking is a pain, Parking lots are a good walk from the beach/pier and cost by the hour. Otherwise, we still had a good time walking the pier and watching the surfers and people fishing.

It’s a pier but a little rough. A lot is going on but it’s not super dangerous. Keep your eyes open. It’s not pristine but it has a cool SoCal vibe. Visit at your own risk because on a good day there are thousands of people on the pier and around there. Closer to the beach is more safe but as you leave and you got few blocks away it all feels sketchier but it’s not exactly dangerous.

We had such a great time at LEGOLAND! There are so many fun things to see and do — way more than I expected. The creativity behind all the LEGO designs and attractions is amazing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The aquarium is definitely worth visiting — it was one of my favorite parts of the day! There’s a great variety of animals and it’s really well done. However, the park really needs better maintenance. A lot of things were dusty, faded, or missing pieces, some water features weren’t working, and a few attractions were closed. It’s still a fun experience, but I’d love to come back when everything’s fully restored and running at 100%!

First time Vacation at Legoland! We had our 8, 7 and 3 year old and my in laws with their 3 year old. I would say that this theme park is definitely for under 10 unless your kids love more action/activities then it might not be for them. Let me say this...Lego masterpieces everywhere!!!!! Amazing how all was put together to show a little of everything. We started our Sunday with Sealife and then headed to the Brick or Treat event. Kids were dressed up and they were given small bags for candies. Now the candy stations (less than 10 stations) were in certain areas and at times a little confusing with everything that was going on. I feel like it would be nice and easier if candies were to be handed out in front of the rides but thats just me. There was no waiting times during our Sunday night. They were able to get into a few rides as well as enjoying the lego art. Monday visit was a bit more busy and humid. We waited almost 20-30 minutes for the roller coaster and the duplo train ride. Other rides were less than 10 minutes. Most rides that include parents with young children have a weight limit of 330 pounds for the seat. Luckily we were able to take turns and enjoy some rides with our boys. Like i had said previously the rides are definitely for younger kids and they only last maybe less than 2 minutes and have little to no motion. My two older boys enjoyed the roller coaster and the ride that goes up and down(its in my pictures). We did a few family group rides like the big boat ride that takes you along the lake, the duplo train, and the submarine ride. We also bought the 2 day cup and the popcorn bucket but unlike other theme parks, the freestyle machines were not everywhere so it was pointless and the popcorn bucket was only refillable at that kiosk from what we saw because we asked around a few places and those places had no popcorn. The one thing that I don't know how to take it as is at this lego car exhibit my brother in law took my boys to see the car and apparently as soon as they went in the male employee there told him- that there was nothing exciting to see and dont waste your time there and instead go on the rides- so whatever his intentions were we'll never know but my son loves hot wheels so he was interested in looking at that car. So now that I pointed out my experiences I want to say that we had fun, and a few meh moments and for us it was a one time thing. Staff was friendly in the park and hotel.

Title: Not Worth the Price — Disappointing Stay for $700 a Night I booked a fully themed “Friends” room at Legoland Hotel California to celebrate my grandchild’s birthday one November 1, 2025 for one Night. Honestly, for the $700 I paid for one night, it was not worth it. I hope this review helps anyone deciding whether to book here. The room was very small and felt extremely crowded. We were given one king bed, plus a bunk bed and a pull-out bed, which sounds great but left almost no space to move around. The furniture looked old-fashioned and worn out — some pieces were chipped, the wallpaper was scratched, and parts were even peeling off. Around 4 a.m., I tried turning on the TV, but it wasn’t working. The screen said to call the cable operator, so I contacted the front desk. They told me I had to wait until 7 a.m. for someone to come in and call the company. The room was generally clean, but it was clear that cleaning was only done on the surface — not in detail. I have asthma, and I could feel dust irritation right away. Also, please note: the photos you see online when booking are not what the rooms actually look like. The hotel’s biggest advantage is that it’s right next to the park, which is convenient, but honestly, you’re better off staying at one of the nearby hotels that offer more space and comfort — especially if you’re traveling with kids.

I had a great time at Legoland with my family! The park was full of color, creativity, and fun activities for everyone. My son absolutely loved it — from the Lego-themed rides to building his own creations, he didn’t stop smiling the whole day. The miniature Lego cities were amazing to see up close, and we all enjoyed exploring together. It was such a wonderful family day out, and we’re already talking about going back!

I used to work at Legoland so visiting as a customer was a little unreal. It's definitly more fun as a customer. Almost all the rides have changed and the ones still there have new names. I don't know why they changed storytale brooks but kept the boats and the beanstalk, but it made it feel like a cookie I unlocked. Didn't care for the new name, fairytale was better, more catchy. I wish the trouble bus ride line had more shade. There is literally shade surrounding the lines and it would be so easy to put a shade screen to cover the middle spot. Having a kids build area in the middle is a nice touch. Build and test is crazy different, but I like it more. No more having to deal with checking tires in and out. Mindstorms is gone which was really sad - programming robots used to be my favorite thing at the park. My kid really enjoys the water park. I wish they had a swim pool that wasn't the lazy river that was shallow enough for little kids and deep enough for adults. They have something close by the slide but it's slightly too shallow for full adult comfort. Employees were friendly and professional as standard - Lego employees who aren't awesome get fired pretty quickly. Lego has pretty high standards for a minimum wage no top job. All in all we had a great time, the kids love going and it does feel worth the price for the year pass.

I love Legoland! This time of year they are doing construction on the other side of the park. The Lego movie ride is epic and entertaining! I forgot to mention the Big Store is currently closed for remodeling so they have a temporary store for some of the lego sets.

We came here mid-day on a Monday October 6, 2025. Legoland is located in sunny Carlsbad, California. There is a very big parking area and rates start from $36.00 for regular all day parking. There is even vallet parking which will cost you a pretty penny. When we arrived the lady at the front counter was informative, friendly and professional. Buy your tickets online if possible. It's way cheaper than paying at the ticket counter. Once we got through the entrance, we noticed the park is clean and well kept. The Legoland park is big. Lots to see and do. As it is October the theme park has a bunch of Halloween decorations up currently. The park is attached to the hotel resort. A single night in a hotel room will run you upwards of $300.00 or more. The rooms are based on themes. My family and I made our first stop at the Pizza and Pasta buffet having skipped breakfast and snacks and drove for over an hour on the I 5. It cost $76 for a family of three. The pizza and pasta are bottomless as well as the soda pop. After lunch we set out to see the sights. I knew the park was big but I wasn't aware how massive and spread out the property really is. I have including a pic of the park's map in this review. Too many places to name. The boat ride around miniature land is amazing and I totally recommend checking out Legoland Movie World and taking a ride on Emmet's Flying Adventure. It's basically a large screen simulator with immersive features such as spraying mist and drizzle as you and your family fly through the clouds. I would recommend coming early so you can make the most of this magical adventure. 5 stars 💫💫💫💫💫Enjoy!

This is always a fantastic experience for kids, but the adults enjoyed it just as much. Ideally, go take the bus tour first thing when you get there. It gives you a good overview of the park, and you'll beat the crowds the rest of the day. The avian show was very entertaining and we of course learned a lot of fascinating info on the various birds and other bonus animals they brought out.

Brilliant park, expansive highly suggest getting the open air shuttle through the safari plains, getting close enough to see animals wandering or resting and great photo opportunities. Only complaint is “zoo radio” near the food which is too loud and not in keeping with a nature outdoor experience. Loved the tiger exhibit sounds! Can’t wait to see the new elephant exhibit later this year!

The San Diego zoo Safari Park. 15500 San Pascual Valley road in Escondido California. We are season ticket holders and pay $280.00 per year for two of us with free parking included. It is a magical place to view wildlife in their natural habitat. They also have lots of birds, flowers and plants. If you are up to it the paths are abundant and easy to walk. If not there is a tram which is included in the 76.00 each adult pays for a day pass. The tram is about a 40 minute adventure through the natural savanna reserve. The park is all handicapped accessible and they offer rental carts to ride around the paths inside. Parking is $17 dollars per carload. I have included some of our pictures from past visits. If Escondido is to far for you the San Diego Zoo near downtown is awesome at the same above listed prices. Membership includes two free passes you can use anytime.

What an excellent experience! So much fun! Took the deluxe Safari, which was well worth the additional cost even if you only pay for entrance into the park you will thoroughly enjoy yourself as there is so much to see and do. The animals are still abundant and the foliage is gorgeous!! We made it a day trip from Palm Springs and it was well worth the effort!

A wonderful park to visit! Animals in a natural environment, beautiful grounds full of interesting flora and fauna. We walked for three miles, many inclines so you will get some exercise! Plenty of benches though to take rests as needed. They offer hot air balloon rides and safari tours for an extra fee.

We had such a great experience today at the San Diego Safari Park! I want to give a special shout-out to Hailey and Clayton from the photo booth / photo print area. They were both incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They didn’t just take the standard photos — they actually came over to suggest better spots, better angles, and helped us capture something more meaningful. You could tell they really care about what they do. When it came time to choose and print the photos, they were just as kind and supportive, making the whole process super smooth. Because of them, we didn’t just leave with photos — we left with really special memories. Thank you both so much! 😊

What a wonderful place! It delivered on everything it was supposed to be. A great vibe and a fun place for kids. Here are some tips that can be helpful when you’re going with kids (we had 2 under 2) •bring extra water and ur own bottle (there were barely places to refill and water bottles were $$$) •bring a double stroller! •it was VERY hot when we went and there’s not much shaded areas and LOTS of walking so bring a stroller fan, hats, sunscreen •the $20 extra fee for the priority pass for the tram is worth it if you have kids bc the line was 50 minutes long •download the safari app - it has a live feature on your phone that helps you plan the day and directions to sites. So much better than walking around aimlessly! We saw all the animals and went on the Africa tram. But my highlights were: *elephant viewing inside the herb garden (you have to go in the herb garden to see them. It’s like a hidden hideaway right next to the campground area) *the atrium. These were so beautiful and calming. Highly rec This place is HUGE. Lots of walking and hills. So wear comfy shoes and clothes and bring all the things you need. Enjoy!!

Great and professional theater experience, and it's right here in our backyard! We saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and it was phenomenal. Perfect for a fun night on the town, dinner and a show with lots of fun places nearby after or before the show. Highly recommended!

HIGH-QUALITY PERFORMANCES! The Old Town Temecula Community Theater is outstanding! Each event I’ve attended here has been fun and enjoyable. I’ve seen play productions, concerts, and recently the Annual Jazz Festival! The seats are SO comfortable here and there’s plenty of ramps for disabled guests. The volunteers and staff are very welcoming and helpful. The venue is intimate which allows each seat to provide a great view! The theater seats have a lot of leg room. There’s upstairs seating, but it’s limited. You can also find a small balcony section on each upper side of the theater, however, they’re also limited in space. Most seats will be found at the bottom level. The theater’s box office can be found in the neighboring venue, The Merc. Additionally, the theater has a set of restrooms across from it and a snack shop that has wine, soda. candy and other goodies. The venue is family friendly and has a great atmosphere. Being in the heart of Old Town Temecula, one has several food options before and after an event as there’s many restaurants and bars nearby! I have an appreciation for this theater as they really reach out to the community and tickets aren’t overpriced!

Most wonderful Theater!! Such a treasure and such an enrichment for the community in this town!! Great selections of shows as well! I've seen several shows there myself AND also performed there myself with the local Southwest Women's Chorus (look us up OR join!). The acoustics are superb, the staff is so friendly and helpful. The shows reach from performances of non-local artists to performances of local artist. Variety of shows are great! Really one of the best venues in the whole Temecula Valley! I recommend to buy tickets ahead of time because shows can sell out very quickly. Definitely give this Theater a visit!!

Small venue, but that is a good thing. We sat in the balcony. Interestingly, the balcony is just one row of seats. That makes egress and access difficult. But the center seats in the balcony have the best view, so tripping over your neighbors is worth it!

Saw Led Zepagain here and it was a great venue! Sound & lighting were were really good. Seating was comfortable. There were no signs posted for the entrance so we walk around building twice to find it. Parking is $26 in the lots & you have to pay thru your phone. Not even the lot attendant could get it to work right. I had to park 4 blocks away at the city hall parking structure, which is free but made us miss 25 minutes of the show.

A must see when you're in town. Lots of restored old buildings, food options (try Goat and Vine restaurant) and shops. Make sure to also go down the side streets as there are other shops around that are worth visiting. Lastly, there's a public parking about 2 blocks up away from the main street that helps avoid competing in finding parking.

Great venue, not a bad seat in the house. The place has the feel of a Broadway theater, with a gorgeous outdoor courtyard serving as a lobby. Saw the Andrew Lloyd Webber spectacular and it was a great tribute to the composer! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

These outlets are next to each other premium desert hills outlets and the cabezon outlets. Lots of different stores to do your shopping for all budgets. A few restaurants and eateries along the way. Plenty of parking but can get busy. You'll find some discounts in some of the stores. The premises are kept neat and clean restrooms available too. A nice walk with beautiful views of the mountains and sunset. Some art work throughout. Will definitely return.

Absolutely a must stop on the 10 fwy if you're driving to and from los angeles to palm springs. Pretty much all name brands are here. Roomy walkways. Plenty of restrooms and parking. Clean, luxurious and modern shopping.

It's so nice shopping in this area. The stores are very clean and the sales clerks are very welcoming and polite. It's nice to be able to step outside and get a breath of fresh air when going to the next shop

Beautiful outlet that we randomly decided to stop buy on our trip back from Palm Springs glad we did much nicer than the one in camarillo which was really surprising very clean huge variety of stores might be my new favorite outlet to go to now!

Last time I visited this place was 2015, how time flies! It is completely different now and I do think the selection of brands shrinks quite a bit. I’m here for the billabong outlet shops but unfortunately it is closed but not correctly marked in google maps. I hope there are more shops for food and drinks. The Starbucks gets overcrowded because a lack of coffee shops & bubble tea shops. It gets overheated at noon and it’s easy to get dehydrated. When everyone wants a iced drink Starbucks become almost the only shop that you can get a refresher from

ILLEGAL PUPPY SALES WITH NO CONCERN. Solicitors selling illegally bred small puppies in OVER 100 DEGREE HEAT. Security does nothing! It is VERY obvious these people are selling puppies to the point of verbally asking for sales. Absolutely letting animal abuse happen without any concern. DO BETTER! UPDATE: I received great concern on the matter from Desert Hills and say they are taking the matter seriously. I hope this gets solved! I’m keeping this up to spread awareness to not support backyard breeders.

First time visiting. Lots and lots of stores to shop from very enjoyable to walk-through especially at night time. Lots of restaurants and parking spaces as well. They even have a McDonald’s close by and it’s a great for kids because they have tablets on the tables for them to play with while the adults catch a breather. I highly recommend it now we return.

View and ride up was spectacular. Did a 2 mile hike. Be aware it's much colder up there than where you park. After our hike the tram had electrical issues. Luckily we weren't stuck on it. It was down for several hours. Luckily it was back online that evening to take us down.

The tram is a fun experience and lifts you 8500 feet above the desert to a much cooler environment. We hiked to the summit of San Jacinto. We moved fast but if you are going to hike be prepared with water and some food. Also be prepared to scramble up some boulders at the summit! The mountains are covered with a forest providing some shade. Wear good shoes for hiking

This was an awesome experience, and Gil, our tram operator, was fantastic. My friend was having issues with vertigo, and he handled it wonderfully. There was music playing, the view was magnificent, and even though it was quite a bit colder up top, the views made it more than worth it. The dine option with the ticket was okay. The food was basic, but for a few dollars more, it's good. I have a milk allergy, so I was unable to get the mashed potatoes, meatloaf, or lasagna, but they had chicken. It had a good flavor, but was very dry. The veggies & salad were pretty tasty, and the potatoes were just OK. No rave reviews, but for the price okay. Overall, with the tram, hike, ambiance, and friendly staff, I would definitely recommend trying this.

The experience was excellent. There was no wind to speak of and the ride was super smooth going both ways, but steep and perhaps no ideal for people who are sensitive to heights. The views in the car and ontop of the mountain are spectacular. The food was well above average. The hike opportunities are nice and not very strenuous, although the high altitude and the thinner air will exert your body disproportionally. Would recommend the ride to anyone who is not fazed by heights.

I went on a business meeting and had one spare day so decided to and see the tramway. It was an amazing experience specially that tramway rotate while climbing using wires and pulley. Huge difference in temperature on top of the hill so always bring a good jacket. Ticket was 35 USD, but you have to wait minimum 1 hour. There is no public transportation so us UBER.

What an incredible experience. The tram ride itself was fun. Parking is designated. The place is clean and well maintained. And the staff were all great. The hike and views in the area is easy even kids enjoyed.

This is a must do in Palm Springs. The tram has a rotating floor that continuously rotates which gives you a 360⁰ view. If you have a fear of heights, stay towards the middle of the tram and away from the windows! Once you make it to the top, there are restrooms and a restaurant available. The temperature is significantly cooler than at the bottom of the mountain. There are several overlook spots offering great photo opportunities!

Decided to explore another part of this exciting city and found myself at the Palm Spring Air Museum in Hot Springs 😀. Since my dad was a Marine, I try to honor him by visiting places like this and learning more about our military heroes through their stories and history. Just a little tip, it’s a really dry heat out here, so stay hydrated! The aircraft are retired, but the lessons and history they hold are alive and inspiring for anyone who loves to learn. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you're transported to a different era, one of innovation, sacrifice, and unparalleled heroism. ​What truly sets this museum apart is the incredible hands-on experience. Unlike many other museums where aircraft are roped off behind barriers, here you can get up close and personal with the planes. The collection of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam era aircraft is meticulously maintained, and many of the planes are still in flying condition. The opportunity to actually sit in the cockpit of a fighter jet is an exhilarating experience that appeals to all ages. ​The true highlight of the visit, however, is the staff. The docents are a mix of veterans and passionate volunteers who share their stories and knowledge with an infectious enthusiasm. Their personal anecdotes bring the history to life in a way that no plaque or sign ever could. They are a testament to the dedication and spirit of the people who shaped aviation history.

This air museum is amazing! There are also vehicles and ship models. So much history in each hangar and outside. Icredible memorabilia. A staggering experience to see each of these aircraft upclose. There were planes being restored and getting worked on. Though most are grounded, i was told a couple still fly. My husband is a huge plane lover and this place was the perfect first stop in Palm Springs. Right next to the airport. There are guides in each area to answer questions and share information.

Absolutely incredible collection and curation! We were visiting in town and came here on a whim and all of us were completely blown away by everything here. Felt like i needed an entire day for each hanger to be able to truly appreciate everything! The F-117 exhibit alone was breathtaking and the docent in the hanger was super knowledgeable and friendly. Already planning trip to come back here from Maryland! Fair warning if you come here overestimate how long you’ll spend because there is so much to see, read, and watch!

Really nice museum, great collection of planes and World War II information. If you're thinking about doing the warbird rides go for it! It was extremely fun and the T6 airplane ride was amazing.

Great museum! Multiple hangers with more planes outside. We spent 4 hours and could have easily spent another 4 if we stopped and read all the historical posts and information posters. Well worth the price of admission!

This is definitely a must do if you visit Palm Springs. Fantastic war museum, hard to believe the size when you get inside. The displays are amazing and a credit to the devoted people that work there. One of the best I have visited, lots of great surprises.

We had an amazing day at Red Rock! The weather was absolutely perfect for our visit. We packed a lunch and enjoyed it at one of the scenic picnic areas while taking in the incredible views and spotting some local wildlife. I brought my drone and captured some stunning aerial shots of different areas — truly breathtaking! Red Rock Canyon is a must-visit if you're in Las Vegas. It’s only about 20–30 minutes from the Strip, making it an easy and worthwhile day trip. Be sure to stop by the Seven Magic Mountains afterwards — it’s just about 35 minutes from the Strip and adds a colorful finish to your adventure.

Throughly enjoyed the drive through the conservation area. Excellent scenic stops along the 13 mile loop. Wish we had more time for the hikes and trails. Definitely could spend an entire day there. Wonderful views and opportunities for photos.

I missed you very close to downtown Las Vegas. Staff was courteous and friendly. We got great recommendations for hikes around the loop. Quite busy, but still, no one traveling off the beaten path. A gorgeous place to go and visit!

We recently went to Red Rock Canyon and I cannot count all the times we have been. I do know this was our 34th time to Vegas so Red Rock Canyon has to rank in the high 20's of times we have been here. If you want to be close to paradise and away from the maddening crowds and noise of Vegas this is the place to go. The visitors center is the first chapter to the wonderful, lasting, memories you will be making. Here you will obtain all the information about the area from an infomation booth, litiature to read, and they also have talks throughout the day from learning about different animals who make this area their home, how the parķ was made, and much, much more. A walking area at the visitors center allows you to see tortoises in their natural habitat as well. The 13 mile loop you drive around the area will litterly take your breath away. There is a million photo ops throughout the area. Seeing burros, big horn sheep, tortoises, and different bird species is another plus. My husband, grown daughter and myself feel very blessed we have had so many opportunities to see this beautiful National Conservatory area.

I’ve been here countless times. I grew up hiking the trails here and still do to this day. There’s something special about the Mojave Desert, and this park specifically. Some of my favorite day hikes are Kraft Mountain for when I’m wanting a fun scramble, Ice Box Canyon / Lost Creek after snow melt in the Spring for some water, and Ash Spring for a peaceful stroll with beautiful desert views. Sunsets here are incredible and the view of the Vegas Valley is great anywhere in the park. There are also a few picnic areas/tables. All in all, a gem in the desert.

Red Rock Canyon is spectacular, there are easy hikes, a beautiful one way drive or challe going hikes. There is even a waterfall just a short hike from a parking spot. The visitors center is beautiful and at the beginning of the drive. Don't miss it. No refreshments however so bring you picnic with you. They do free events as well like star gazing.

My brother and his friends brought me here for a morning road trip, and we did the bike trail before that. Such a beautiful, well-preserved area! The rock formations are stunning— definitely a must-see if you’re around Vegas and looking for nature activities. 🌄

Crowds permitting, this is a beautiful place to walk through. I love how it's always changing. The smell is pleasant, and you can really feast your eyes on all the flowers and sculptures. I also appreciate how the fountains use recycled rain water (I should have taken a picture of the sign for the specific).

The Bellagio Conservatory feels like something straight out of one of my thriller novels. As a thriller author, I’m always drawn to spaces that mix beauty with tension, and this one has that quiet, cinematic energy. It’s controlled chaos in a story. When I visited in November, it was set up with beautiful autumn colors. There’s a spitting frog, a pool with owls, and a giant green pumpkin surrounded by elegant place settings. Everything is absolutely stunning. It’s always busy in the evening, and honestly, I’ve never been here when it wasn’t. The main center display is incredible, showing off rich fall tones and detailed seasonal art. This is one of those places where you can’t help but stop and take it all in. Walking around the base display, there’s a huge tree and the massive pumpkin near the café area. Too bad the café seating isn’t open, because I’d love to sit there and work on one of my thriller novels. I took a slow-motion video of the owls perched beside the pumpkin, and another of the water fountain flowing from the pumpkin itself. The Bellagio Conservatory is one of those Vegas sights that never disappoints.

The Bellagio Conservatory is a true oasis in the middle of the Strip! This was absolutely stunning and one of our favorite things to walk-through each day. We saw gardeners in there each morning, tending to all of the magnificent plants and displays. They had a mushroom theme goddess garden going, and I was completely amazed.

I didn't stay at the Bellagio which is why I am giving it a 4 star. However their flower show was awesome and the pastry from the pastry shop was amazing. Which they had more options but what they had was great. Did water fountain show outside the Bellagio is great to watch but make sure to get a good spot early.

We really enjoyed our experience on the High Roller - the views of Vegas at night are hard to beat! This is roughly a 30 minute ride in a spacious pod with 360 degree views. The pods move smoothly and slowly so you will not notice the movement. If you are trying to keep the party going while onboard, they offer drinks before you board - at elevated prices. Keep in mind that they do bag checks before you enter, so you are not allowed to bring in outside drinks. The only negative is that they had us enter and exit the pod while the pod was moving, which seemed a little sketchy to me. One miss step could mean a guest falls off the platform. I did noticed that they stopped the pods for some guests, though. The pods move really slow, but the risk of a fall is still there. The overall experience was too good to knock the rating. If you are staying at a Cesars-run hotel and have not signed up for the rewards program - do it! My tickets were free as a new member of the program.

It's interesting. Slow and steady. We went during daylight hours so we could see the mountains in the distance. At night it might be more exciting to see the lights. It was a 30 min ride but felt quick. It was roomy in there. The two of us were in there with 5 others. Plenty of room for people to move around and take pics and not feel crowded. We brought our own drinks with us but there was a bar right before you get on. I think we paid $22 each. I'm not sure I would say this is a must-see but it was interesting enough for something to experience while we were in Vegas

This is definitely a must-visit attraction when you’re in Vegas! I highly recommend going at night the view is absolutely stunning with all the lights from the Strip glowing below. I got two tickets through Groupon, which was super easy and convenient, and the whole experience was well worth it. When we went, there was a family with little kids who were a bit loud and energetic just being kids so that was a small distraction. But aside from that, I really enjoyed the experience. Once you’re up there, you get an incredible panoramic view of the entire Strip and beyond. Seeing all the hotels, lights, and energy of Vegas from above is something you really can’t describe until you experience it yourself. If you’re planning a trip to Vegas, make sure to add this to your list it’s one of those experiences that gives you a whole new perspective of the city and makes for some amazing memories (and photos, too!).

We bought tickets online ahead of time from Groupon and just had to show out passes and got right on- no wait. We went during a Friday around 1 pm and got right on the ride. Also the ride overall takes about 30 minutes to complete which is so nice. The view from the top overlooks and it taller than most casinos. I would definitely go again and recommend it. It’s worth the price.

The High Roller Happy Half Hour is hands-down one of the fastest ways to get a strong buzz in Vegas. If you have a Caesars Rewards card, you can usually grab a deal on the regular ride and then upgrade to the open-bar cabin for around $25 — easy win. Great for a group of 5–10, especially around sunset or after dark when the Strip looks insane from up top. Our bartender was on it the whole time and even snapped some great photos for us. If you want a fun, quick, no-effort pregame in the sky, this is the move. Highly recommend

We had a blast. So full of people, music and lights. It was great. Awesome place to people watch, we don't drink or gamble so we just walked the street and we're blown away by everything there is to see. My husband bought an amazing painting off of one of the street artists. It was just a lot of fun, especially if you come from small town like I do and don't get to see this type of thing often.

Definitely worth checking out, but I must warn you that many of the casinos and street stores here evoke a nostalgic feeling for a reason. They’re not like the newer part of Vegas or the heart of the strip, but if you’re seeking a glimpse into the past, perhaps 3040 years ago, this is the place to be. One must-try is the outdoor circuit bar, where they still perform flare bartending, a skill that’s hard to find elsewhere in Vegas. I believe there’s also zip-lining available, and part of the street is covered with an LED ceiling, complete with a stage for live music, which I think is part of the Atomic Saloon. Overall, it’s a must-visit, but it could be something entirely different. I would like to see it more devoted to live music and live entertainment . The street performers are the heart of the place, so make sure to support them.

The ambiance here is fantastic, feeling more accessible and less pretentious than some areas of the Strip. You'll find live bands playing on multiple stages, often featuring high-energy cover artists that keep the crowd dancing. The street is also famous for its incredibly diverse and often bizarre street performers (be aware that tipping is expected if you take photos). It's a non-stop carnival atmosphere.

I had come to the Fremont Street Experience for many years. My experience is getting better and better. I finally feel that Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas is better than the Strip. I think I will book a hotel in the Fremont Street area next time when I come to Vegas. The Fremont Street Experience is fun, with more activities and even livelier than any other area in Vegas. I enjoyed the nightlife here. I like the stores, bars, restaurants, and casinos here more.

We came through on the Big Bus tour but we did not get to stop. From what we saw it will be an awesome adventure in the future. The place was bright and lively. We drove right down the middle and under the huge ceiling video screen that stretched what seemed to be as far as we could see.

Fremont Street is a must if you’re in Vegas for the first time. Cheap gambling, nonstop entertainment, and people-watching that deserves its own documentary. You will absolutely see something unforgettable — maybe even something you wish you hadn’t. I’m pretty sure I saw the best magic of my life here from about five feet away. Tip your street performers. They earn it. Go at night for the full effect, stick to the classic casinos for better odds, and keep your wallet close. If you want pure, unfiltered, chaotic Vegas energy, Fremont is it.

Don't look down. It would be a big fall. There can be gust of winds. It's a big climb to get to the bridge. Honestly pretty cool bridge. It can be quite hot up there. Bring water because you will need it on the hike.

Amazing viewpoint connecting Nevada and Arizona! The bridge offers a breathtaking overlook of Hoover Dam and the Colorado River below. Short hike from the parking area to the viewpoint with clear signage. Windy up there, so hold onto your hat! Definitely worth the stop.

The Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, also known as the Hoover Dam Bypass, is located along US Highway 93 at the Arizona/Nevada state line. Its official address is 27953, 28689 Great Basin Highway in Boulder City, Nevada. This bridge spans the Colorado River after water passes by the Hoover Dam power generators and spillways. It was built to divert traffic that used to drive along the top of the Hoover Dam. There is a pedestrian path along the bridge and its wall does a pretty good job blocking the view of the Hoover Dam from vehicles driving the across the bridge. I have not walked across the bridge, but I understand that it provides a great vantage point to view the Hoover Dam. This arch bridge sits 890 feet (270 m) above the Colorado River. Like every bridge, it will flex and sway from traffic driving across the bridge as well as wind passing through The Black Canyon of the Colorado. This sway is intentional as a rigid structure would be damaged by the forces exerted upon it.

After our Hoover Dam tour, we moved our car to the free outdoor lot (Boulder Dam Bridge Parking) and walked the Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. You can visit the bridge before or after the dam, but if you’re joining a tour, it’s best to do the tour first in the morning and save the bridge walk for later. This massive bridge connects Arizona and Nevada, built to ease traffic around the dam. It opened in 2010, is 1,905 ft long (579m), 890 ft high (270m), and is the 2nd tallest bridge in the U.S. and it even won a bridge design award in 2012. It’s named after: • Mike O’Callaghan, Governor of Nevada (1971–1979) • Pat Tillman, an NFL player who left his career to serve in the military and died in action in 2004. You can walk across the bridge to get amazing views of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. You might feel the bridge slightly sway( something to keep in mind if you’re afraid of heights). We visited in late March and it was super hot and dry (over 30°C / 90°F), so definitely bring a hat and water. The bridge isn’t long, but with no shade, it feels intense under the sun. If you have a free day in Vegas, this side trip is totally worth it!

America is great. What a sight. What an accomplishment. It is always a must see. You can now drive across the dam again. Also can walk across it. Tours are first come first serve. So you get there and get in line and then get assigned a time. The view from the bridge is also spectacular.

This visit should be a one time thing. We went in September and it was still too warm. The dam is an engineering wonder. The commute was over an hour but we stayed 20 mins because it was too hot. Probably good to pay for the guided tour if you are into engineering feats.

I had seen multiple pictures of this dam and thought it was big, but this thing is HUGE!!! We did the tour that took us down inside and that was very informative. It’s also very interesting looking around in the museum and seeing all things they used and how they built it. Definitely a cool place to visit!!

This place is really cool. I didn't get the scope and size until I went there. It's huge! There is plenty of free parking. You do have to pass a security checkpoint to make sure you don't have any fire arms or drones. There are trails that lead to all kinds of places. I just passed through and checked it out, but would have loved to hike the trails.

What a magical place. We did two trails over the span of around 3 1/2 hours: the short but scenic Mouse’s Tank, and the iconic Fire Wave/Seven Wonders Loop. Both provided different experiences, views, and difficulty levels, but I feel like there still lots more to see!! Even just driving through the park, you get incredible and genuinely jaw-dropping views of the rock formations. Absolutely blew my expectations out of the park, and the new visitor center looks super cool too! The current visitor center has some cool displays and a nice little gift shop in the middle. I recommend getting here either very early or towards sunset, as there not a lot of shade and, even in cooler temps, the sun can be brutal. Please check this wonderful place out.

Writing a “review” of the Valley of Fire feels a bit like rating the sun. Or giving three stars to gravity because it’s “a bit much sometimes.” The place doesn’t care what I think. It’s been here for 200 million years, unbothered by human opinion, Google reviews, or the existential unraveling of anyone who visits. And yet here I am, typing earnestly into the void about how it made me feel small in the most reassuring way. The Valley of Fire exists on a timescale so immense that our entire lives do not even register as a blink. While we are born, grow up, agonize over career choices, stress about emails, and die — these rocks just… exist. They are steadfast and exist outside our timeline, the changes measured in geological rather than biological time. And somehow that’s comforting. There’s something deeply soothing about knowing the universe isn’t keeping track of our daily panic. Standing among those rust-red cliffs and formations, I felt every melodramatic human emotion: awe, insignificance, reverence, and an odd sense of relief that my to-do list, my one sided feud with my neighbor (true story), my overthinking… none of it matters here. The Valley of Fire is the ultimate reality check wrapped in beauty: a place where the universe pats you on the head and says, “Sweetheart, relax, it’s really not that deep.” So yes, five stars. Would recommend. Bring water, snacks, and a healthy sense of humility

Awesome park to visit, this place had a few stops with petroglyphs that were neat to see. The visitor center was cool and the staff were fun and helpful of cool thing to see in the park. Most of the hikes were easy and well marked. Family friendly even for littler kids to go on. Would recommend visiting!

If you’ve never been it’s a must go. Breathtaking views, most are easy hikes from lots to access. Pictures are best way to describe Always bring lots of water, sunblock, and download map. Cellular is spotty and can have your GPS bouncing everywhere.

Beautiful place to explore with short little hikes. What they’ve changed in the last 2 years is requiring photo permits if you’re not in walking or hiking outfits. Also no longer can you park on the road and look at the views. Parking is limited in some popular hike trails. It’s hot during summer and don’t underestimate the heat.

The hour-drive from Las Vegas was easy, yet once I turned into Valley of Fire the landscape shifted dramatically — the fiery red rock formations stretched in all directions and I felt as though I’d landed on another planet. Although our visit required paying the non-resident fee ($15), the experience was worth every penny. We headed to the White Domes Loop as recommended by the Visitor Center — a 1.25-mile loop that demands proper shoes, but rewards you with a vista unlike any I’ve seen. Even without a hike, the roads alone provided enough to be spellbound. If you’re in Las Vegas and have a few hours to spare, this place is a must-visit.

I've been meaning to visit this state park for years. Very happy to have made the drive up from Vegas. Scenery is dramatic and beautiful. Also I was not expecting to see Bighorn Sheep! I plan to come back when I have more time to hike. Note, many trails are closed in summer.

We had an absolute BLAST! We went on the 4 hour sunset tour and are so glad we did. It was between this and another activity, and this tour did not disappoint! My husband and our friend voted this the best way to end our time in the area before returning home to Illinois the next day. Jack was an amazing tour guide full of knowledge and entertaining jokes. He made sure to explain things clearly (made this novice feel comfortable) and always made sure to watch the group to ensure everyone's safety! We can't wait to come back to Zion National park and bring our kids and will definitely plan to do this again!

My mom and I did the sunset-chasing ATV tour, and it was absolutely incredible! Our guides, Will and Dave, were both awesome — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. Will went out of his way to make sure my mom was comfortable and confident the whole time, which meant so much to us. The sand dunes were amazing, and the views at sunset were just breathtaking — photos don’t do it justice. Everything felt safe, well-organized, and full of good vibes. We couldn’t recommend this experience more! If you’re anywhere near southern Utah, go see it — it’s an absolute must-do.

Absolutely amazing! I don't remember the tour guides name but he's leaving to be a boat captain in Hawaii. He was super relaxed and personable. Great method of taking beginners through a diverse landscape with plenty of local knowledge as well.

We had a killer morning on a guided tour with Jason. He showed us some incredible spots that were perfect for our skill level. Some rock crawling and some sand. The Can-Am machines we used were super sweet! I’ve been to hurricane 100 times but never knew what playground existed around us. Unforgettable experience!

We had such a great time with William as our tour guide through the Sand Hollow area! We used ATV Offroad bc they were the only outfitters that has single seat ATVs and, well, all five of us wanted to drive! We had a new rider and William, with the help of Dave, were very patient and helpful in making our new rider feel safe and included in everything. We loved that we made stops along the way to learn about the area and the geography, and bc driving for 4 hours straight would have been a little miserable. I HIGHLY recommend this company if you are going to rent ATVs or UTVs in the area. Thanks for a great time! Highlight of our trip.

We grew up in Saint George & decided to play tourist during our recent visit home. We booked an all day side by side tour with ATV Offroad Adventures after extensive research & recommendations from others. Our tour did not disappoint. The crew arrived timely & was chipper to get us underway. They had everything we could have thought of: gloves, glasses,helmets, & a really cool souvenir neck gaiter. Jack was an amazing guide, he is hilarious, knowledgeable, a great instructor ,courteous, & made our adventure so worth it. Safety always came First & our routes & expectations were always communicated very clearly. We rode through amazing dunes, banked turns and all different terrain. We got to stop and learn about the area where Jack taught us some awesome facts even our local family members didn't know. There were opportunities for our younger adventures to climb rocks & dig in the sand (with parental supervision of course)They provided lunch which was so much better than we expected (no PBJ's here) jack will gladly take your cookies off your hands is you don't want them. Billed as the most dangerous hike in USA , this is Zion’s iconic hike and also the most difficult to obtain a permit to access. It’s early Oct 2025 during the US Federal Govt shutdown and YES- NPS Rangers are still checking permits and don’t forget to bring photo ids as some who did. not bring ids had a difficult time with the rangers! The 8.7km hike is strenuous and requires climbing of 460m. The last km iwhich requires a permit checked at the entry point at Scouts Landing involves climbing narrow ridges while holding onto a chain. Please be patient and let oncoming traffic through! The views during the hike are spectacular. The bonus for the trip was the opportunity to see two California Condors soaring overhead. This is the largest bird in USA and was almost extinct with only 20 in the 1980s! They are now on the critically endangered having recovered to around 600 today. Bring water as it can be quite hot and enjoy the walk.

Great October hike at sunrise! We got our permit for the first time slot of the day, which was great. We took the first park shuttle of the day and were within the first few hikers of the day on the trail, so we didn't run into anyone on the way up Angels Landing. This hike was super fun to do. It is definitely impressive which gives a sense of pride when you complete it. I did not think it was too hard physically. It can definitely be scary in some areas though. I witnessed people turning back because it was too scary for them. I now get what the hype is all about. Get your permit and do the hike, you won't regret it.

Visiting Angels Landing was absolutely unforgettable! The views from the top were breathtaking, with incredible scenery in every direction. The hike itself was challenging but totally worth it once you reach the summit. The trail was well-maintained, and there were plenty of spots to stop and take photos. I’d recommend going early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It’s one of those places that truly reminds you how beautiful nature can be!

The hike is challenging but so worth it. I came down backwards which made it so mush easier. View is gorgeous along the way. It’s not as scary as shown in the online videos when you actually get on the trail.

Beautiful and Breathtaking hike! Be sure you are up for a challenge! There is a lot of high drop offs and your walking along edges. But it’s worth it! I am glad we went in October and not during peak season, it’s a small walking path for people in both directions and you have to wait for people to pass by before you can go.

Angel’s Landing is a stunning trail with some seriously out-of-this-world views. It’s not an easy hike, especially if you’re a beginner but totally worth it for the scenery. I went at the end of October, and even then it was hot and sunny, so I highly recommend starting early to beat the heat and the crowds. Bring lots of water. I didn’t go all the way to the peak with the chains (it gets pretty intense), but even stopping before that, the views were incredible. You don’t have to do the final stretch to enjoy the experience.

This hike is not for the faint of heart or anyone with a terrible fear of heights, but also the best hike I have ever done. The views are gorgeous, the chains area gets your adrenaline going, and finishing the hike feels so rewarding. Definitely dangerous, so must be physically able! I wouldn’t ever recommend this to children or elderly. To do the chains you must have a permit. But anyone can do the hike before that and get an incredible view at Scout Lookout before that if they don’t mind switchbacks! We went in June and on the trail at 7:30 am to beat the heat and the crowd, which worked great for us as it started getting much more crowded at the end. I recommend starting as early as possible. Keep in mind you will have to take their bus shuttle to the hike entrance and parking at the entrance of the park is near impossible to find if you arrive theater in the day.

The Narrows felt like a scene after a typhoon, went the weekend before Labor Day and it was packed! The water wasn’t clear at all, but it was still super fun and thrilling. Definitely rent shoes and walking sticks—it’s slippery. Bring some snacks and water. If you’re visiting Zion, this is a must-do!

Amazing and fun hike for the family!!! One of the best hikes I have done! The hike can be as long or as short as you like, as the real beauty is the path. Some people recommend special socks, water shoes, and hiking sticks. I do recommend a hiking stick, but I used an actual stick I found in the desert that worked great and wore quality water shoes. There was one place towards the beginning that we were in water chest deep, so do keep in mind that you can get really wet depending on how high the water currently is. We were there at the very end of June and the water was pretty cold, but our feet got used to it fast! There is also a little water fall towards the beginning of the river and fun side trails later on down the path. The shade covered us the whole hike, but we were on the trail by 8:00am and stayed for about 4 hours total. A must do if you are in Zion!!!

It was quite an adventure. Bring water and snacks. A stick is a must it really helps walking over rocks. We got there by 8am. Took the shuttle to stop 9. We walked about 1 mile to the start. We walked for about 4 miles in the narrows and turned around. We had couple young kids they were tired couldn't go any more. It took about 3 hours to go up and about 1 hour to come back down. Its a real adventure. $30 water shoes from Amazon worked really well. The water was very cold at first especially when it went up to your belly. But once that sun comes out and into the canyon it feels really good to rest and let the sun hit you and warm you up.

Our Zion National Park visit centered on The Narrows, an unforgettable water hike. By 8:10 a.m., the Visitor Center parking was full, so we parked at Stop 2 and took the shuttle to Stop 9. Thanks to my wife’s planning, we rented water shoes and hiking sticks, making the four-hour trek more enjoyable. The towering canyon views were stunning, and the kids had a blast! At one deep section, the water reached my waist, and I helped them across—an exciting challenge. You need to experience The Narrows at least once in your life.

The Narrows is the most unforgettable hike of my life. Imagine wading directly into the Virgin River, surrounded by thousand-foot canyon walls that rise dramatically on both sides. It’s not just a hike; it’s an adventure. Hot tip: bring hiking poles or at least a walking stick and shoes/boots and clothes you don’t mind getting soaked. First, getting there…you must either take the park shuttle or bike in, no private vehicles are allowed. It sounds like a pain, it isn’t, trust me. Ample parking is available near the visitors center near the shuttle stop. Then you’re on your way. Take it to the last stop, Temple of Sinawava then hike an easy paved trail to the “entry” aka the water. The river is your trail, and every step is both exhilarating and humbling. Sometimes the water is ankle-deep, other times it reaches your waist/chest and with every bend you discover new perspectives on this awe-inspiring canyon. The cool water, the echo of footsteps and laughter, the sheer scale of the rock walls, it’s a sensory experience unlike anything else. The beauty also is, you can go as far or as little as you want! My wife and I took this on and were absolutely blown away. It challenged us, yes, but it also rewarded us with memories we’ll never forget. Standing there, looking up at the towering cliffs and realizing how small you are; it’s a perspective shift you can’t get anywhere else. If you do one hike in Zion, make it The Narrows. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that leaves you both exhausted and exhilarated, and it will stay with you forever.

This hike is such a unique experience. It’s fun and not super tiring. View along the way is gorgeous!

What a hike, water is cold and deep in many areas. This place can get very packed especially in the beginning. Highly recommend a walking stick and good water shoes as the rocks will destroy your feet and ankles.

Best friends is definitely a must visit. We are from Cincinnati & have visited a few times. Well this time after touring the sanctuary we met some of the Texas flood rescues and came home with a dog! Bear friends helped us find a safe way to get her home. Tours are free, funny, & informative. The volunteers & workers are sweet and really engage with you in your. Greet for kiddos

So, probably a good idea to plan your stop in advance. We didn't. They have plenty of tours, but it looks like most are in the morning. Enough about our mistake. The self-guided tour is pretty epic anyway. You do get to go into one of the many cat houses and interact with the kitties. And you can see just a few of their hundreds of dogs at the adoption center. This place is doing great work.

This place was so much fun. The lunch was amazing. Especially for $5. And the view from the patio was so pretty. Everyone was so welcoming. The tours were super cool and the animals are so well behaved. The cats were great with children which was a relief with my 3 year old wanting to pet them.

I am a monthly donor so I wanted to see how my donations were being used. I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful town called Kanab. It's breaktaking views will make you appreciate the work of God. I enjoyed all 3 tours that I went on ( the grand sanctuary tour, goat walking and pig tour, and bunny tour). I learned something about goats on the tour. You're not supposed to feed male goats a lot of fruit because it can cause lead to crystallization within their urethra. I fed some goats grapes and leaves at the vineyard because they acted hingry. But i will not do that again. I recommend that you spend two days so you can take all of the tours. The cafe provides a delicious $5 vegan lunch with a million dollar view. I love how the pigs have air conditioning on their houses to keep them cool. This sanctuary has a building to care for cats with Feline Leukemia Virus. They are no kill so any animal that ends up here has a home for life. And last but not least, this sanctuary is completely ran off volunteers and donations. So please donate so we can save them all.

My 4th visit to Best Friends but this time arranged a highly successful group volunteer visit for Sisters on the Fly with the BFAS Group Experience Team. Our hearts were filled with the BFAS mission and vision through volunteering, touring and making parrot enrichment toys. A 3-day event easily could have been a few days longer for us. Yummy, outdoor, vegan lunches at picturesque Angel's Village Cafe were 'icing on the cake.'

What a delight! Unplanned visit on the way-ish from Zion to Bryce. Stopped in and got an impromptu van tour with knowledgeable guide, Candy. A MUST SEE for animal lovers. So grateful this organization exists.

I’ve wanted to visit Best Friends for decades! So happy to finally get to see this magnificent sanctuary in memory of Toots. Everything about it is perfect. Yeah, I cried. Sacred experience for me ❤️

Nice place for a quick stop to see Bryce canyon NP-like views. The spectra trail was nice, but they also have an observation deck area that will give you equally nice views of you don't have time to walk the trail. The gift shop has reasonably priced shirts and sweatshirts. You're required to have your state park pass to enter this location but no one checks so you can basically just walk the trail and see the observation deck without having to show your park pass at all. As long as you don't go into the visitor center, you're good. There is a clean bathroom at the parking lot.

WOW! Let me tell you, if you can make it up to cedars break I would highly recommend the drive. When you’re seeking peace this is the place to be. Just under a 35 minute drive from cedar city this look out is quite phenomenal. With a priceless view and onlookers from all over it’s truly breathtaking. Every time I’m in town I go to Cedars Break to catch the sunset and just sit in awe of such an amazing spectacle.

Go up there if you can. Very similar to Bryce, but 2000 ft higher in elevation. The ride up there from Zion to Bryce (yes it is a detour) in late September with the aspens in bloom was spectacular. Even had to stop to allow some grazing sheep to cross. WELL WORTH A TRIP.

We got it just in time to have a moment to talk to the Rangers in the visitor center. They cannot be kinder or more friendly and were very helpful. The park is open 24 hours however the visitor center is only open til five. Beautiful hikes, beautiful views for everybody to enjoy.

This place was so much more than what I expected to see here. I had no idea what I was driving to and walking towards. It was such an unassuming drive on the way to Bryce Canyon and it just pops out of nowhere. Have to say it was really cool and the most pleasant of surprises. Breathtaking.

This place is all inspiring. From the southern visitor Center just walk straight out and you are greeted with this massive landscape. You can see for miles and miles and the landscape is very unique. Take a moment and read the various information that's available at the visitor center as they are very helpful. The geological formation at this area is quite amazing. They are restrooms you can use and it's easily accessible from the parking lot. There are several viewpoints around this monument and I highly recommend you go to her the Northern viewpoint as it gives you a very different perspective. I think the best time to visit is doing sunrise and not sunset.

This gorgeous park is such a hidden gem! Was never on our plans, never heard of it until a friend told me about it. SO glad we went! If you’re in the area of Zion and Bryce, this is a must do!!! It’s like a mini Grand Canyon! Visitors center and staff were great too…

Great NP, even during the shutdown. Visitor's Center was open and the shuttle was running (it ends October 19). Lots of varied hikes from 1 mile to some monstrous ones. Terrain was varied as well, some serious elevation changes and some paved accessible ones. Quite beautiful!

Beautiful hoodoos and great views! Recommend going to Bryce Point for the sunrise and going there at night to stargaze. The park entrance is also very close to the town, and there are shuttles in the park. You need a parks pass or proof of entry to use the shuttles outside the park. Also recommend going here in the spring or fall when the weather is nice; we went in April and there was still a little snow, but it also got very hot in the afternoons

Bryce Canyon National Park is one of those rare places that feels almost other-worldly. The moment you step up to the rim and look out over the amphitheaters filled with thousands of vibrant red and orange hoodoos, it genuinely takes your breath away. No picture truly prepares you for how surreal and massive the landscape is in person. What makes Bryce especially memorable is how accessible its beauty is. You can catch incredible views right from Sunrise, Sunset, Inspiration, and Bryce Points, each offering a slightly different angle of the canyon’s maze-like formations. But the real magic happens when you hike down into the canyon. Trails like Navajo Loop, Queen’s Garden, and Peekaboo Loop let you walk among the towering hoodoos, weaving through narrow passages and tunnels carved by nature. It’s hard not to feel tiny, in the best possible way. Another highlight is how the park transforms throughout the day. Early mornings glow with soft gold light, afternoons bring out the rich reds of the rock, and the sunsets are phenomenal. If you stay after dark, Bryce is also one of the best stargazing locations in the country—its night sky is unbelievably clear. Whether you’re there to hike, photograph, or simply soak in the views, Bryce Canyon feels like stepping into a natural cathedral shaped by time and elements. It’s a must-see national park that leaves you inspired long after you’ve left.

Bryce Canyon is absolutely stunning. The landscape is filled with towering spires of rock called hoodoos in deep reds, oranges, and whites. The trails are steep, challenging, and completely worth it. Every turn opens up a new and breathtaking view. What makes Bryce Canyon so unique is that it isn’t a true canyon but a series of natural amphitheaters carved by erosion and frost. The park sits high on the Paunsaugunt Plateau, with elevations reaching over 9,000 feet at Rainbow Point. A few fun facts: The park covers about 35,835 acres (roughly 56 square miles). It has the largest concentration of hoodoos in the world. The colors come from iron oxide and other minerals in the rock. The contrast of light at sunrise and sunset makes it one of the most photographed places in Utah. If you love dramatic scenery and rewarding hikes, this is a place you’ll never forget. Five stars from start to finish.

We went in early November and the crowds weren't to bad. The visitors center was still open even with the government shutdown. The views were stunning and breathtaking. Wish we could have had more time to do some of the hikes but we will definitely be coming back to see more.

Gorgeous. Don’t be afraid to go in a few basic hikes; they’re well worth it. Visit the welcome center and talk to one of the park rangers at a desk and get a plan for each day. Our ranger was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend specific hikes that were within our capabilities, including secret gems.

Such a gorgeous place — the views are breathtaking from every angle. It’s perfect for a one-day trip if you want to see something truly unique. It’s also a great spot to bring your do, there are a few dog-friendly areas where you can walk and enjoy the scenery. Definitely worth the visit!

Such an incredible place! We had previously come in the winter and were unable to do it (they close this one in the winter due to rockfall). We were excited to do it in the summer on a day it wasn’t too hot. We descended here and took the trail to Sunset Point (I’d recommend starting with this trail as you want to enjoy it rather than being exhausted by it.) The trail was busy, but not necessarily packed—lots of coming and going. My wife and I commented to each other that we heard more foreign languages (especially European) than we heard English which was really cool. The trail is indescribable and something you have to experience yourself. Worth the trek to see this amazing geological feature. Take plenty of water and use the bathroom before descending as there isn’t anything down in the valley.

Wall Street is one of the loop sections of the Navajo trail. This trail is not as hard as advertised as long as you have good hiking shoes and are smart, aka don't walk on the edge. The park map says you should hike up Wall Street, but it was better to walk down and loop the trail over to queens garden trail. One thing that is not noted on the maps is if you happen to walk down the trail, take time to stop now and then and look up. The view is pretty amazing as you have the hoodoos towering over you along with seeing the trail zig zag down the canyon.

Very cool. Even through weathered erosion beauty springs forth. But all of Bryce Canyon NP is epic. Do the hikes. Walk the rim. Ride the multi use trail. Bryce Canon NP drive is 18 miles long and just stunning. Just not enough parking but the shuttle buses are always around the corner.

Hiking through Wall Street feels like walking into a secret world. The narrow canyon walls soar hundreds of feet overhead, creating a sense of scale. The light filters down, illuminating different rock faces and making the view change with every step.

Beautiful hike going deep in the hoodoos. Best to do this trail up and go down from the Navajo which is longer down and in the sun. Wall Street has shade and makes it nice when you’re pooped out from Navajo. 👍

Very nice and I had a looming feeling like the walls would collapse on me. Also someone fed a local Chipmunk so it goes up to people to try to get food.

Wall Street was a cool place to see, on the Navajo Switch Back. My kids got there just fine (ages 12, 9, 6). It was very beautiful!
