Great food hall with lots of choices to pick from, you will never go hungry! But the outlets, the outlets are so good… must go for those special things we all need and desire!

The parking is convenient and not too far from the entrance, but I’d recommend going on weekdays if you want to avoid the crowds. Around Christmas time, it can get chaotic with long queues — I once waited for an hour just to pay! But overall, DFO Homebush is a great shopping destination with a wide variety of stores and consistent deals. A smart choice for bargain hunters and savvy shoppers alike!

Located at 3-5 Underwood Road, Homebush, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a great location to come to for all your BIG brand outlet shopping. There is plenty of brands from Versace, Victoria’s Secret, UGG, Strand, Snooze, Smiggle, Road & Gunn, Platypus Shoes, Peter Alexander, Max Mara, Adidas, Nike, Armani, Billabong, Calvin Klein, Ferragamo, GANT and much more. There’s a great little children’s playground situated near the food court which has a small selection of places to eat or drink such as Bamboo Sushi 🍣, Mad Mex, Roll’d, Maharaja’s Indian Cuisine, Oporto and more as well as a Gellatissimo for a beautiful dessert. Situated throughout the centre is also Lindt Chocolate Outlet, Muffin Break and others. The centre basically consists of 2 main floors with the upper floor holding more shops from what I saw. There’s plenty of seating situated throughout and very good toilet 🚻 facilities including disabled toilets. It’s very wheelchair 🦼 accessible and plenty of parking 🅿️. I wouldn’t say it’s cheaper to come as the sales/specials I saw were pretty much on a par with the same shops in main stream shopping centres. It’s an easy centre to get around. Lovely beach, absolutely beautiful except the crane spoiling the view but hopefully will be not long to go away. Yes, will be visiting over and over again. South Cronulla a bit too small for my liking but North Cronulla is wow.

It was packed when we went there so the swimming area(between the two flags) has very limited space for people. The waves are quite aggressive too, but it was a great beach otherwise.

I enjoyed an invigorating walk, roundtrip from Cronulla Beach to Wanda Beach, on the Cronulla Beach trail during a visit to Cronulla in mid-September 2025. It's a clean, well maintained trail with parks and places to eat nearby. Nice beaches!

We decided to go to cronulla Beach for expedition. It was a lovely ⛱️, with so many places to sit and enjoy the view.The realise restaurant was amazing with a great view while we ate lunch.

One of the best place to be. Amazing waves and good environment to chill. Must visit when you are around Sutherland shire. One of the best beaches nobody want to miss. A nice beach with a white sand. Lots of shade around the Rocky areas. Great eateries surrounding the area. A relaxing place to have a cup of coffee by the beach.

Had a fabulous experience, an unexpected visit but stayed full day, kids have enjoyed allot. After knowing all the aged workers there are volunteers i was really surpirzed and so much to learn from them. Restaurants and washrooms are clean. You can have a full picnic out there with family.

A fantastic place for kids and families! My child absolutely loved it — from the interactive exhibits to the chance to get up close with the animals. The small animals were very gentle and friendly, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for a fun and educational visit!

Loved the enthusiasm of all the volunteers and staff, dressing up and demonstrations were well done as was the historical facts upon entering the buildings. The tractor ride and train ride were fun. Food options good if you forgot to bring a picnic basket as there is plenty of shade and grass to sit down as well as some covered table settings.

Never heard of this place but got invited to go with some friends. Immediately reminded me of Old Sydney Town which has unfortunately closed down. This was the closest to that I have encounctered. Really fun place even for adults! All the buildings are original and the atmosphere transports you back to the 1800s. I was so impressed by how intact the small village is. If you like old towns and bit of history you will love it. They have mini trains rides too and a few demonstrations/roleplays that happen through the day. The groundskeeper was very passionate and you can tell he really cares for the place. The village operates and is run only by volunteers with all proceeds going to the maintenance and running of the village. The volunteers were all so friendly and eager to tell us stories of the place.

Had a great day, my partner and my 2 Grandsons it was their first time. What surprised me was the “ Cartwright Cottage “ the original owners John and Julie Cartwright and the Micocks/mycocks are related to me as I showed the gentleman out the front playing his musical instruments I spoke to him about it. I rang dad and now he wants to come and see his relatives place back in the 1870’s.

The Australiana Pioneer Village is a charming and family-friendly spot with authentic colonial buildings, fun train for young kids and tractor rides. The admission fee is very reasonable ($25 for family of 4), it offers picnic areas, and affordable 2 food shops .

This walkway connects Cronulla Park and it's beach where the lifesavers club is located to Shelly beach and Oaks Park. Beautiful homes and condos lined up the path with excellent view of the sea and the soothing sound of its waves pounding the beach.

This walk is quite similar to the famous Bondi to Coogee walk, but without the constant ups and downs, making it a little more relaxing while still just as breathtaking. Along the way, you’ll pass by some stunning coastal houses that are worth admiring as you stroll. The path also takes you past several beautiful beaches, each perfect for a quick stop or swim. I personally recommend taking a break at Shelly Beach — in my opinion, it’s one of the most beautiful beaches in Sydney, and the atmosphere there is just unbeatable.

I can’t say enough good things about this beach! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a postcard. The sand is unbelievably soft and powdery — the kind that doesn’t burn your feet or cling too much when it’s time to head home. The water is crystal clear with the most stunning shades of turquoise and deep blue, and you can see small fish swimming right near the shore. It’s the kind of place that instantly melts your stress away. The beach is wonderfully clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of trash bins and recycling stations, which made me appreciate how much effort goes into keeping it pristine. The lifeguards are friendly, attentive, and clearly care about everyone’s safety without being intrusive. I also loved that there are plenty of shaded spots under palm trees and umbrellas to take a break from the sun, yet the open stretches of sand give you all the space you need for beach games or simply relaxing. One of the highlights for me was the calm, gentle waves — perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, and even floating around lazily with a drink in hand. Wow! What an incredible experience! I took my 3 kids for the beginners kayak tour at Bundeena.We were lucky enough to have Marnie all to our self and she was the most lovely, kind and warm tour guide. It was honestly the most perfect day! The water was warm and clear, the scenery was absolutely stunning. I’m so grateful, we will be back! P.s thanks Marnie for all the great photos 📸

We did the 90-minute beginners tour with our six-year-old and loved it! Bruce, our guide, was great – super knowledgeable about the area and shared lots of interesting little facts along the way. The route itself was perfect for beginners – calm, easy to follow, and with gorgeous scenery the whole way. It was such a fun and relaxed way to spend the morning, and even our little one managed it with no trouble. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something family-friendly and a bit different to do in Bundeena.

My wife and I are getting Stand Up Paddle board lessons in preparation for an impending holiday with our kids. Great local knowledge and great instructions. We both managed to stand up after our first lesson. We’re going back to hire the boards, for a bit of extra practice. Highly recommended a lesson with Bundeena kayaks.

Fantastic day out with Bruce with our family today. Finally used our gift that was given to us 3 yrs ago. Bruce is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Marnie was very warm and welcoming. Parking is $12 for the entire day which so reasonable. We will be back again for sure.

My husband and I booked a beginners guided tour with them and had an amazing experience we'll never forget. It was our first time ever trying kayaking and neither of us can swim that well. We had been thinking of taking it up for the longest of time but had been too afraid. Through their training and guidance, they made it feel so easy and so enjoyable that we have now become confident enough to go kayaking by ourselves. Thank you so much for helping us get over our fears and to actually enjoy the experience. Amazing team, amazing place, and everything was just perfect ❤️ PS: besides a kind and friendly guide we also got a personal photographer. About an hour outside Sydney, this animal park is a great way to see some of Australia’s iconic wildlife up close—kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. It’s very convenient for a day trip from the city, though it can get a bit crowded with tourists. I visited as part of a tour, which made it easy and enjoyable. For anyone short on time who wants a taste of Australia’s unique animals, this is definitely a worthwhile experience.

Best part of the park is hand feeding the wallabies. They are just so cute and friendly! They are free to roam, though they are scaredy cats so close the gates gently to avoid them panicking and running for their lives! After this visit, I think they are the cutest animals in Australia, way way cuter than the always sleeping koala and the slow moving quokkas. The animals are very well taken care of, except for the wallabies which seem always hungry (maybe they'll be fed again after the zoo closes?). I visit on a rainy day which was a bit inconvenient because there're not enough places with a roof. But still it was fun checking out the animals. Though they seem less energetic. Quokkas are in enclosures, so if you only interested in them, you may want to buy the encounter package, which I think is quite expensive. Also, be sure to go to the lorikeet walk in which you can see the birds up close, but bear in mind it closes at 2. Tickets are cheap on Trip.com. I purchased on the day I went and it was around AUD 22. Animal food was AUD 5 a cup which was way more than enough to feed. I end up going back to near the entrance to feed the remainder to the wallabies. Overall very worthwhile taking the long trip to this zoo.

One of the best wild life "zoos" in town, nestled in a suburban area, sufficient parking, and all wildlife within close proximity. Well cared for by staff, including volunteers. Staff willingly provide info about displays during timely feeding sessions, including photo sessions with koala, and close encounter in some displays, public can hand feed the "residents". Most impressive were "tree kangaroo", rock wallabies, quokkas, wallabies and echidna. Easy walk and compact exhibits. Reptiles, blue tongue and shingle back lizards... great easy 2+ hours' wallk.

A hidden gem - genuinely the largest Australian wildlife collection I’ve had the privilege of visiting and learning about. There are so many aviaries filled with the most beautiful birds, gliders and even ghost bats! The animals here are all very curious and friendly, and enjoy interacting with humans - you can tell that the animals here are well loved and cared for <3 I lost track of time looking around, highly recommend this beautiful sanctuary! I absolutely loved my visit to Featherdale! It ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The animal interactions were incredible — I got to get up close with so many Australian animals, and the staff made everything feel safe, fun, and personal. You can really tell the animals are well cared for, and it made the whole experience even more special. I also loved how easy it was to get there using public transportation. The trip was super straightforward, and the park is conveniently located, which made the visit stress-free. Overall, Featherdale is a must-see. If you love animals and want an interactive, memorable experience, this place is perfect. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful time at the sanctuary and enjoyed seeing all the nat ive Australian animals. It was very Hands-On and great for children because they can safely explore and enjoy the experience more freely than a larger, more structured zoo setting. All of these staff were very friendly and hands on. The gift shop was also great with lots of Australia souvenirs.

Bit of a pokey location... literally in a neighbourhood. That said... for a privately run facility, there are loads of animals to see and you can even feed the roos. Nowhere near a Taronga obviously but definitely smaller and easier on the legs who can't do the Taronga distances. Worth a visit at least once.

I went to raging waters at prospect. It’s a lovely place to go with the whole family. It has so many different things you could do. There is a world pool, different slides, a beach, dinosaur island. Plenty of water features and water areas for the kids. Lots of facilities, ice creamery, cafe, shops. Lots of areas to rest and relax. Lots of life guards. I just thought it was a very expensive $15 for parking, $65 for entry, frozen drink was like $10, 2 tiny scoops of ice cream was $10, chips were like $12 for a large. All the shops were very short staffed I waited 40 minutes for chips. Every time i needed something I waited a long line spent half my time there waiting in line. Should consider getting more staff for the food shops during peak days.

We spent a full day at Raging Waters Sydney and honestly, it was one of the best family outings we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the energy was vibrant and exciting — the park is clean, well laid out, and there’s something for absolutely everyone. The ride variety is impressive. We loved the thrill slides like the T5 and 360Rush — intense, fast, and so much fun. My partner and I took turns doing the big rides while the kids splashed around in the children’s areas, which are really thoughtfully designed with safety and fun in mind. The wave pool (“The Beach”) was a hit with all of us — a great place to relax in between rides and just soak up the sun. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff friendliness. Lifeguards and attendants were attentive, patient, and seemed genuinely happy to help, which made a big difference — especially on a warm, busy day. Lines for the rides were reasonable for a weekend; we did wait a bit for the major attractions, but it moved steadily and didn’t feel frustrating. Food was decent for a theme park — a bit pricey, but the variety was better than expected, and everything we had was fresh and hot. I recommend bringing a water bottle and using the refill stations — super convenient and helps avoid buying bottled water. We rented a locker and found the facilities to be modern and easy to use. Parking was smooth, and we appreciated that everything was well signposted and organised. I’d definitely recommend arriving early to make the most of your day — and consider a cabana or reserved area if you want a more private base for your group. All in all, Raging Waters Sydney exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect place for both adrenaline seekers and families with young kids. We’re already planning to come back next season — might even grab season passes next time. Highly recommended!

Great park, awesome atmosphere. The slide lineup at Raging Waters Sydney is pretty impressive and it has something for everyone. The food options are as you'd expect from a theme park with hot chips, burgers, hot dogs, pizza etc. The prices for tickets and season passes are definitely reasonable. The only downside is the lack of investment in new attractions. A new slide tower would be very much appreciated for someone who goes each year. It has been too long since any new slides have been installed and would really benefit from some new intense slides.

Dear raging waters I be much appreciative if you could reply it was fantastic waterpark but however there’s lot silde s you can’t go solo and there was individual person who was solo and they try to share tube with group and one person in that group said no sorry when ride operator asked group if they could share and I know person saying no doesn’t know person and isn’t responsible to share but it was only sharing slide for two minutes it wasn’t like they were being told to share silde s for rest of day with stranger and I just think it’s unfair there’s not many solo rides anymore as people pay good money and they can’t get there money worth and I think before you pay online there should be warning that’s it’s strongly recommended you come with ride partner or otherwise you might not be given you full experience and understand rules are rules and I know person who said no sorry might not necessarily meant to be rude and might just be more case off not feeling comfortable with stranger sharing tube and our group agree to share with solo individual. But however poor solo individual did feel bit upset and solo individual did come to waterpark thinking they would able get on more rides solo and it’s fantastic park and staff were wonderful but just saying I do think might be worth while if there’s something on site before you pay online that’s it’s advise you come with partner to water park . Thanks for reading if you do and this is not complaint but I just wanted to put it out there to save people feeling disappointed if they come solo and might be better for them to not come solo and come other time when possible to have swimming partner with them . We came on Saturday 4th of Jan on a hot day. The facilities were very clean and well maintained, the staff were diligent. Our young son loved the Junior area. Wait times were not too bad considering the amount of people at the water park. The food queues were at a minimum as I think a lot of people bring their own food. It was my first time here and I must say everything exceeded my expectations and i will definitely be back again

Absolute money making business- The queues are so long you spend most of the day waiting. Charging $15 to park your car, on top of an exorbitant entry fee. Overseas we paid $30 for entry to a waterpark with under 5 minutes waiting time, free parking, friendly staff who all took the time to make it enjoyable. Another water park we went to with inflatable course cost us just $3 each for the entire day. These prices are just ridiculous. Surely it must be closing down soon.

I’ve been to many water parks around the world and this one is beautiful. There are a lot of fun attractions and a decent size kids area. The wave pool is massive and the staff was very friendly! If you’re have an odd number of people in your group or coming solo, be warned there are not a lot of slides where you can ride alone.

Bald Hill Lookout Point, New South Wales , Australia– A Slice of Heaven Visited in the first week of May , and I must say—Bald Hill Lookout Point is the most beautiful place I have ever been to . The weather was absolutely perfect- cool, clear, and crisp, making the views even more breathtaking. With plenty of parking ( free parking) getting there was easy and stress-free. The panoramic vista of the ocean, cliffs n grass gave me a heaven-like feeling—calm, awe-inspiring, and unforgettable. It’s one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. I've always dreamed of visiting, and now that I have, I can't wait to go back . Simply magical.

What an amazing and mesmerising view from the bald hill. Great place for sightseeing and catching a brief breath while driving either in the direction. Such a fulfilling panoramic view from the top and overall a great enriching experience visiting the place with family

Spectacular views and structure. Travelled just to do the sea cliff bridge, wasn't disappointed. The look out at bald Hill was a great spot to look over where you had been. Very busy even in the weather.Nice walk across the bridge with great views of the sea and surroundings.Very cool road to drive and walk over. You can also park at the north end where there are restrooms and people paragliding. Amazing drive followed by albreath taking views

Absolutely loved our day at Symbio Wildlife Park! The animals are well cared for, and the park is beautifully maintained. Feeding the kangaroos and getting up close with koalas was such a special experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the keeper talks were both fun and educational. Perfect day out for families or anyone who loves wildlife. Highly recommended!🐨🐆🕊️🦜🦘

Awesome small zoo with Australian animals and others. Quickly walkable, mostly flat, kids water park. My favorite is kangaroo petting park. Can feed animals in narn and wallabies. Great zoo!! And lots of koalas moving around!

Symbio is a one of the world's truely great animal parks. Wonderful collection of animals well displayed in large and well designed enclosures. The animals are healthy and not stressed. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. It is an absolute pleasure to walk around this park as if it is a botanic garden. Something for all ages - farmyard, open kangaroo feeding area, Splash Park water fun, kids playground, plenty of seating and shade and excellent keeper talks. Cafe has quality food too.

One of the best wildlife zoo within close proximity of Sydney. Situated within natural bushland setting also contains a huge splash park for hot long days. Enjoy their animal talks and encounter. They've newly added penguins. You get taste chance to feed zoo animals and pat kangaroos. Oh yes, NRMA offers discounts on entry 👏

Had the best time here with my 2 year old niece. The animals seemed so relaxed and were active and the park is well maintained and so clean. Great day out for all ages!

Great for children, we went on a very cold day and saw everything in about an hour and a half. Got to feed kangaroos and you can pet all of the farm animals. Great entertainment for kids and it looks like there is a lot of fun things to do when it’s a bit warmer

Great place for younger kids. Enough variety of animals to see. There's a playground halfway through to take a break and a splash park at the end to cool down. Definitely the best I've been to when it comes to feeding kangaroos. Highly recommended 👌🏻

Flagstaff Point Lighthouse, also known as Wollongong Head Lighthouse, is a scenic spot to stop while exploring Wollongong’s coastline. It offers fantastic views over the ocean and Wollongong Harbour, making it a popular place for photography and a relaxing stroll. There is plenty of free parking nearby, which makes it easy to access even with larger vehicles during the day. However, overnight parking is not allowed, so it’s best enjoyed as a short visit. For those interested in local heritage, the site also has a bit of history about the lighthouse to learn from plaques and displays. Combined with the fresh sea breeze, it’s an enjoyable and educational stop.

Stunning and breath taking views from the Wollongong Lighthouse. If you're capable, the walk from the city centre is manageable and on a picture perfect morning really invigorating. Plenty of opportunity to take some outstanding photos and learn further about the history of the area.

Good spot to watch sunset/sunrise in Wollongong. From beach its easier to walk and reach lighthouse. Plenty of parking available. You can park anywhere and start walking to the lighhouse.

We went there on weekday, so parking was really easy to find. Our favourite icecream van was there and we loved nice sunny weather. But it gets really windy, loved the views of open ocean and nice green grass around the area. Must visit.

What a great place! In the middle of suburbia, it still manages to stay quiet and tranquil. The nature wellness trail is a great idea. I especially loved the Sculpture In The Garden exhibition this year (2025). Thank you for allowing this in your space 😍

Easy parking and pleasant gardens. It was quiet and provided varied walking options. Personally loved sir joseph banks glass houses, a lovely hidden treasure. Lovely places to sit and reflect or eat a picnic. Flat paths are perfect for wheelchairs and prams etc. Toilets are clean.

A quiet, relaxing place for a walk or meditation. Their plant collections are massive. I especially liked the Greenhouse that houses their succulents and the tropical plants where you could feel the controlled environment for the plants. I also loved the Rose Garden

It's a huge garden and tidy. Overall the garden is outstanding, the walk path is good, the garden is clean. Maybe the minuses are in toilet comforts and some facilities are not working like the front fountain and the water inside the pool is dirty.

Nan Tien Temple, located in Berkeley near Wollongong, is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere—and you can feel the scale and serenity as soon as you step onto the grounds. Beautifully landscaped gardens, huge temple halls, an eight-storey pagoda, and sweeping views all contribute to a deeply peaceful atmosphere. Definitely set aside a few hours—there’s a lot to explore. A few tips: • No photography is allowed inside the shrines, ever. This isn’t clearly mentioned on the website, so best to know ahead. • That said, there are loads of fantastic photo opportunities outside—gardens, architecture, statues, and pagodas. It’s a dream for outdoor photography. • Shoes are allowed inside the main temple building, which is unusual compared to many other countries where it’s strictly no shoes. • Plenty of parking, and a small café on-site for snacks or tea. We’re planning to go back in spring when the gardens are in full bloom—it’ll be even more photogenic.

It is the main railway museum in New South Wales, Australia and located at Thirlmere which is about 90 km from Sydney or 2 hr drive. It displays locomotives, passenger cars, and freight rolling stock formerly operated by the New South Wales Government Railways. It is a lovely place to visit especially if you are a steam engine enthusiast. They offer steam engine rides to nearby on regular basis. Lots to see and learn about the use of steam through history. Toilets available on site. Cafe available. Easy terrain, all on one level mostly, lot of easy walking. There are exhibits on the grounds outside the museum proper that needs some walking. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Nominal fees charged for entry. Parking is easy on site. Great place for photography. Not crowded, some tourists and a number of locals

I enjoyed my time at this museum. The volunteers are very welcoming and social, and the museum itself is great, with a theatre, kids activities, cafe and informative information on past trains with a massive collection of trains outside. The train ride is well worth the money - at the moment it terminates at Buxton and turns around. Can’t wait for it to be extended to Colo Vale in the future. Really important piece of history to preserve for future generations to learn about the history of railways in NSW.

Went here for a birthday day trip for my dad. The were many trains to look at and interact with. The steam train ride was great, our tip is to open the windows! Great for kids and adults alike. There was a small train you can ride too, a mini theatre show, kids corner and a playground and picnic areas at the back there is a bbq area and dont forget to see the roundhouse behind the scenes area!

We had such a wonderful experience at the NSW Rail Museum! From the moment we arrived, everything was well organised and welcoming. The staff and volunteers were so friendly and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about sharing the history of trains and rail travel. The exhibits were engaging and beautifully maintained, with plenty to see and do for all ages. Walking through the old carriages and seeing the historic locomotives up close was an amazing experience. It felt like stepping back in time, and we learned so much along the way. The train ride itself was a real highlight—relaxing, scenic, and such a unique way to experience the history of rail. Everything was run smoothly and safely, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to simply enjoy the day. It was a truly positive visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend the NSW Rail Museum to families, history lovers, and anyone looking for a memorable day out!

I have stayed 3 times recently in a 2 bedroom cabin. Cleaning is inconsistent The last of my 2 stays (in November and December) were in the same cabin (#10). When I left in November both managers were in the office. I advised that behind the bedside tables in the second room were lollies and food wrappers left by a previous guest. They expressed concern, apologised and promised to have the cleaners attend. When i recently stayed in December I checked behind the cupboards and the SAME refuse was there! I complained on checkout to the casual attendant and advised of my previous complaint. The management is very strict about clients leaving a place clean and tidy so it is incongruous that not only is their cleaning inconsistent but they did not follow through after receiving a complaint. A previous review complained about cockroaches. Maybe this is why. It could also attract mice. The attendant made notes in the computer and a diary and assured me that management would call me the next day. It's been 3 months and I have never been contacted. I checked out a day early. I wasn't asked if I was leaving because the service was unsatisfactory.

This is a lovely spot. Not a caravan park, but approx 22 full size cabins 1 and 2 b/r. right on the headland, 1 minute walk to Blowhole. I had a 1 b/r. It's big! Nothing like a caravan park cabin. About 1 min drive or 10 min walk to town. Cabins are big, air-conditioned, fans, with full kitchen, utensils, bedding. Stayed with a group of friends so saw a number of cabins. All are a little different. Some have dishwashers, some have bigger balconies, most have a nice view of the water. All have a barbecue on the deck. Bathrooms are modern, with spa bath. Price is competitive especially compared to a hotel room. Not serviced daily, reception is open until 4pm only. But overall, for me, it was a much better option than a studio room in a 4 star+ hotel.

Not a guest, just visiting the blowhole spot as a regular visitor. But having a flat tyre issue and the owner and his son or worker was very helpful to help us sort out the situation🥹 Im not sure if they are the owners or just a regular visitor as well but Ill leave this comments as appreciation of the help. Made our day so easy.

We stopped here here on our way from Sydney to Canberra and the views were stunning. Plenty of parking, and easy to get to. The blow hole was really pumping with the winds and surf. If you're close by definitely try and make the stop.

This place is a hit or miss. You can either be here on a nice day and enjoy the view. Or you can be here on a day where it gets so windy, that if you open your car door it can fling open. It’s a beautiful place and the blowhole is pretty cool. You can walk further down closer to the water. Overall it’s a beautiful place. Would recommend.

This was a beautiful spot to stop and explore. We drove in from Sydney. I wish we left sooner because there was so much along the way to see, rainforest, breathtaking scenic ocean views, wildlife. While here, the kids explored around in the rocks. My dad and I took the walk from the scenic park area over to see the blow hole. I encourage you to time this right, we didn’t see the blow hole as impressive as it could have been, we didn’t see some action but not much, we went later on the day. Be sure to check the tide! Lots to do around this area, lots of shops, walking, picnic benches to enjoy a meal or snack. So beautiful

This lighthouse is a popular place for locals and tourists. No entry fees. Great views of the sea and hinterland from here. Plenty of parking with generous time limits. When we were there, we sighted several whales on their migration to Antarctica.

For anyone visiting the South Coast around Wollongong and Kiama, the Kiama Lighthouse and Blowhole are must-see attractions. The lighthouse, built in 1887, stands proudly on the headland and offers sweeping views over the coastline and town. Just beside it lies the famous Kiama Blowhole, where, on the right tide and with strong winds, the ocean swells surge through the rock cavity and shoot spectacular jets of water high into the air. On a particularly windy day, the spray can reach visitors standing on the lookout — be prepared to get a little wet!

I'm gonna level with ya. I didn't go check out the view. It was hundreds windy. I did check out the incredible gate locking mechanism. Hooly dooly, the fabricator must have had a point to prove when he fashioned up that masterpiece!

The drive up to the mountain via saddleback mountain rd itself offers beautiful views. I think it’s one of the best scenic drives around. Once you reach the top, you can park your car and walk up to three different viewing platforms. The western view is partially obstructed because of trees. Walk up to the northern platform and it provides stunning views. The whole south coast upto Wollongong is laid out before you including lake Illawarra. Anyone know anything about these gate locks? I’m Curious how this works.

The most underrated big thing ever. Everyone should come to the big spud at least once in their lives. On par with the greats such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, The leaning tower of Pisa in Italy. Robertson has its very own gem in the big potato. Worth the drive you won’t be disappointed

After driving past this thing many times, I have finally had the honor of visiting the Big Potato. Also known as the ''Big Poo'' by less reverent people, this imposing edifice was birthed in 1979 and transcends mortal comprehension. Gone are the days when intrepid travelers could pay homage to the potato gods within. Now the shrine is sealed up. This certainly excited the archeologist within me. Who or what resides within? What treasures are hoarded behind those walls? We may never know. The Big Potato is one of 150 or so oversized shrines dotted around our country and attracts many pilgrims each year. This thing should be heritage listed. I read that the Big Potato was for sale for a mere $920,000 making it a very sound investment. I urge you all to add this to your bucket list.

Stopped by with a group of high school friends to see Robbie for a tasting earlier today before heading back to Perth tomorrow. Really appreciated the opportunity to taste the offerings from Two Figs. The wines are beautifully balanced and it was a pleasure to taste each and every wine on offer. The grounds are amazing coupled with beautifully crafted wines which I would be happy to drink on the daily. We bought a bottle of Chardonnay to enjoy at Jim’s Wild Oysters tomorrow and sent a six pack home for the wife. Service, hospitality and generosity at Two Figs is second to none. Thanks again Robbie for the being the host with the most! We enjoyed the Chardonnay at Jim’s Wild oysters!

We had a great experience at Two Figs! Robbie was so friendly and super knowledgeable. The premium tasting is well worth it! Amazing views from the tasting room too, can't recommend it enough.

The most inhospitable experience I think I’ve ever had at a hospitality venue. We booked ahead and had 10 people come to drink Two Figs Wines. No one else was at the venue. We asked if we could sit inside because it was cold outside. We were refused, with the reason give that it was for Members only. There were no members there. We asked if we could drink our purchase bottled of wine at the bar and were refused because it would be too much to clean up before closing at 5pm. So we had to drink the wine outside in the cold. When we wanted to buy another bottle we were almost refused because it was too close to 5pm which was closing time. It was 4.40pm. No one else was there. The gentlemen that was so rude to us clearly should not be in hospitality. I highly recommend avoiding this venue. The service and wines are not worth enduring.

Our visit to the Two Figs Winery was the highlight of our trip. The location is top tier, with an incredible selection of wine to match. But what truly sets Two Figs apart is the incredible service. Every single person there was genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The staff complimented us, engaged us in conversation, and showed genuine interest in where we were visiting from. This level of personal, warm, and attentive service made all the difference and elevated the tasting experience from a simple transaction to a memorable afternoon. Tony was an absolute legend <3

We arrived on a Monday and had the whole facility to ourselves. Our tour guide, Robbie, took us on an amazing wine journey thru the afternoon. Do you like big bold spicy? They got you. Do you like a subtle drinkable everyday white, they got you. Do you want an amazing Shiraz blend? They got you. Try the reserve, so worth it. Bottom line: regardless of your wine taste, they have something for you. We left very satisfied and happy. You will too.

We arrived on a week day afternoon as a group of four for a wine tasting, but without a reservation. We were easily accommodated and had excellent service from Tony throughout, offering us a selection of delicious and interesting wines. Two Figs is in a beautiful location and very lovely building inside and is well worth a visit.

Sir Don Bradman Museum. No cricket liver who visits Sydney can not afford to miss it. Though, I would recommend a better lighting's to make history more readable. I loved it.

Great experience for any cricket lovers, or indeed, those interested in the cultural evolution of Australia. Really enjoyed my visit, and was pleasantly surprised that the museum covers not only the great man but the game in a wider context. As one or two other reviewers have mentioned, the exhibits are not always lit as brightly as they might be, but this is a minor quibble. Additionally the museum shop is well stocked, and there is a bargain filled bookcase of second hand cricket books for sale. The adjacent Oval and its picturesque pavilion ( and Mary Poppins statue in the grounds) are other points of interest. A very enjoyable couple of hours.

A great antique store with plenty to explore. From antiques and vintage finds to newer items, there’s something for everyone. I did find the store a bit messy, and I wouldn’t recommend visiting on a hot summer day if you’re sensitive to the heat. On a positive note, there’s a little café inside with a lovely ambience.

So much enjoy seeing this seeing that and most cool stuff in here. If you want to buy any item, it's better to remember your zone or number code of the item before asking for help from staff cos more easy for everyone. Anyway some item you can grab and bring to cashier by yourself easy! :)

It's a fun place to walk around. On at least two separate occasions I've bought a surprise item I didn't know I needed or wanted. This time it was some lovely heavy cotton European made workmen shirts. Last time it was a newspaper page from 1918 bemoaning the anarchists in the army coming home armed. LOL.

Loved Dirty Jane's - have been meaning to go there for some time (it's location is the only thing that has kept me away so far - being more of a city-dweller - though it makes sense that it's out of town given the size of the premises!). It was fabulous - seriously something for everyone and I came away with a few really great pieces (though not what I actually went to buy!). Probably spent two or three hours there (and could definitely have stayed longer, but needed to get out before I started buying things I really didn't need! :) The staff were friendly and helpful and the coffee shop was also unexpectedly good with friendly and efficient service.

A wonderful place where you can find all kinds of antiques. We can spend an hour or more browsing this place.

Great food. Pizza and grilled chicken are excellent. Fries tastes nice just a bit salty. Last order at 14:30. Beautiful environment and they host wedding event as well. Better call in and check availability when getting in. Can see beautiful red leaves in autumn. Worth dropping by in any road trip!

When I entered Berkelouw Book Barn in Berrima for a girls big day out, I felt like I had walked into a beautiful, magical world. I didn’t know where to start first. The staff are all helpful, the coffee and tart as wonderful, the shared vegan lunch was divine near a beautiful and warm fireplace. The menu catered for all types foodies. The books! I was so delighted to see such a variety of new and old. Such variety and interesting and diverse topics. When we could drag ourselves away from the books, we moved onto the winery and had one of the wine tastings by anther fireplace. So relaxing in beautiful surroundings. Great for time out with friends or quiet solitude for yourself or for large and small functions. There are also accomodation cottages if you want to stay longer. Highly recommend!

Beautiful premises, nice selection of books. RUDE STAFF. We asked the young lady at reception for the drinks menu, they didn’t have one. So I asked her what drinks she’d have available for kids, “hot chocolates and juices”, didn’t even elaborate, didn’t have any food either. We got our drinks and our 2yo got hungry so we gave her half the croissant we had in our bag, she wasn’t even sitting, and we sat outside. Older lady came bolting towards us as she took her first bite to remind us not to eat any of our own food. Can’t help thinking it’s got something to do with us being Asian. We won’t be coming back and nor will any of our friends and family.

We had such a wonderful experience at The Book Barn during the Christmas break, and I couldn’t recommend it enough! It’s the perfect spot for brunch or lunch and is only a short drive from Sydney. On a spontaneous visit, we were lucky enough to get a table at midday, even though we didn’t have a reservation – but I’d highly recommend making one if you plan to visit. The place was almost fully booked, and we were fortunate to find a spot, and it wasn’t even a weekend – just a weekday! I ordered the fish, which was absolutely delicious, while my husband went for the crab linguine paired with the recommended wine. I opted out of the wine as I’m breastfeeding, but my husband loved it. The food was so good that I completely forgot to take any photos – a sure sign of how amazing it was! The service was impeccable, and the space was so lovely – a truly peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve decided to celebrate my 40th birthday there in March. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

Since we were visiting from the US, my bestie in Sydney arranged an outing to Southern Highlands and made sure we stopped for lunch at her favorite place. It was a cozy cute cafe inside a bookstore and on the premise of a winery estate. We ordered the grazing board, roasted pumpkin pizza and salad. We invited our driver to join the 3 of us for lunch and glad we did since the portion was HUGE!! We were a bit skeptical initially about the wines here since we are spoilt from Napa & Sonoma in our backyard but we were pleasantly surprised after ordering a bottle of Bendooley Estate Rosé. Excellent selection of dining choice made by my friend!

We loved it, nice place to visit. Can have a wine with cheese platter, kids can have ice cream. Got bookshop, and restaurant inside with wine cellar and small shop. Certainly a recommendation to spend a few hours relaxing while drinking a rose. Price not to bad.

The book barn itself was lovely and in a beautiful location, really attentive staff, but the food let it down. We had two overcooked salmon, and my husband and I’s crab linguine had very little flavour, we were piling on salt and pepper to make it taste like something. Quite disappointing as it’s not cheap. Wine was lovely.

Absolutely loved our VIP experience visit!! We chose this zoo over the ones in Sydney hoping for a less crowded visit and it was the best decision. Annabelle was our guide and was amazing. 100% recommend.

Older style zoo but very enjoyable. More for younger children. Very informative keepers. All staff great. Kids love petting area & keeper talks. Koalas, rabbit patting & watching lion feeding were favourite's

We had an awesome visit to Shoalhaven Zoo! The staff were welcoming, the enclosures were clean, and all the animals looked healthy and well cared for. A special highlight was meeting Reneigh the horse — such a gentle, beautiful soul who clearly loves a good pat. You can tell the keepers genuinely care for their animals, and it makes the whole experience feel personal and warm. There’s plenty to see and do, from feeding encounters to peaceful walks along the river. A great spot for families or anyone who loves getting close to animals. We’ll definitely be back to visit Reneigh again! 🐴💙

I live in Sydney and I have been to all the zoos near and far and this zoo has to be the best. We drive 2 hours to get there but WOW it's worth it everytime! The cutest, friendliest most beautiful animals I've encountered at any zoo, they seem genuinely happy. It's very interactive for a young family and a very easy zoo to nativagate without exhausting everyone. All credit to the amazing and super friendly staff!!

A perfectly well-kept zoo, on a pretty riverbank. The animals' enclosures were all very clean and tidy, but not sterile, with interesting terrains, trees etc. We went there for the maned wolves, who were super active and inquisitive. Keen to return when we are next in the area.

Best zoo ever.period.tou can hand feed lions,monkeys etc...at a extra price ofcourse and I spent my bday there and the best time ever.i bought 2 budgies and I wish I had rhe licence to buy those baby emus lol.

Such an amazing experience! The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, well priced and very fast service. I experienced the Lion Feeding that was hosted by Amy and Steven and they were so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Great variety of animals and perfect cozy location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dave’s Sunset Cruise — just excellent, money well spent. Captain Dave really knows his stuff; affable, entertaining, easy-going and accomodating. His vessel is ideal for the job, super accessible. Our Scottish visitors were just stoked. Steve / April 2025

We had yet another enjoyable day over in Myola thanks to Captain Dave. He welcomed us aboard with his smile and jokes then suggested things we might like to do in Myola. If you come to Husky or Myola, make a point of a taking a trip with Captain Dave.

Fantastic way to get spend the day! A very quick trip and thanks to captain Dave very entertaining! Save the drive and do something different, grab the ferry to Huskisson, you can even take your dog and prices are for the return trip.

Captain Dave made the ferry ride extraordinary, memorable, and fun! He was friendly, knew much about the local area, and gave a lot of tips on what do see and what to do. Superb experience!!

Our Whale Eco Cruise on a rainy morning was absolutely unforgettable. Our staff (Capt Hamish and Paula) were delightful - friendly, pleasant, informative and funny. ☺️ We wound up being blessed with a curious pod of three (including Mom and baby!) that swam around us for a good long time after boat motor was cut and we were just floating along. Loved every rainy second of it!

We had a whale of a time!!! An unforgettable day. Heaps better than we expected. Whales were popping up all over the place but the big surprise was the cliffs. Wow. If you’d just come to see the cliffs you’d be deliriously happy. They were sensational. The boat and crew were great. We had good food and coffee at the very comfortable wharf. Happy people were everywhere. Bravo Jervis Bay Wild! Spectacular! Thank you.

A Must-Do Experience in Jervis Bay! We’ve travelled to Jervis Bay 3 times now specifically to go whale watching with Jervis Bay Wild, and once again, they did not disappoint. The crew are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their commentary strikes a great balance between educational and entertaining. We were lucky enough to spot a couple of pods of humpback whales, including calves, and they stayed around long enough for everyone on board to enjoy the moment without rushing. Traveller Tip: Even if it’s warm on land, bring a jacket (preferably waterproof). We went out at 1pm on a 26-degree day, and I was still grateful for my cardigan once the sea breeze picked up. Better to be prepared so you can relax and enjoy the view. If you're considering a whale tour in Jervis Bay, don’t hesitate. We'll happily be back again.

I went on the Jervis Bay Passage yesterday, and it was absolutely AMAZING. What a fantastic experience. The sun shone, the sea was calm, and just sailing around all the Bay was wonderful. As we went by areas of interest, our captain gave very informative and interesting stories. The high cliffs by the lighthouse were spectacular. When we saw a Sun Fish, he drifted back so that we could watch it. Nothing was too much trouble. We saw a few seals too and the dolphins greeted us back into harbour. An experience I will never forget. Thank you.

Fantastic afternoon. Saw lots of whales. Even had a pod surface about 10 mts from the boat. We also got up close to the Jervis bay cliffs and cave systems. Really beautiful. Small boat but this got us up close which a bigger boat wouldn’t have. Friendly crew. All in all recommended

Had an amazing time this morning on the Eco Whale trip. Highly recommend!! We saw many whales, even one breaching and closely circling the boat. It was unreal! Saw some dolphins too! The staff were also super lovely and welcoming.Especially Ella who made us feel like VIPs and was so helpful, sharing local info with tourists. Thank you so much for an unforgettable morning! 5 stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a nice cruise experience, filled with pure rainbows surrounding the bay area from the light rain. And we saw some dolphin activity! 🐬👍 Although, I would not suggest booking cruises in the winter, unless you'd like to witness some bright rainbows! It can easily be cancelled due to harsh weather conditions, and our experience was not the opposite. It was incredibly foggy and rainy, abit difficult to capture any sealife, though when we did- it was for a short period of time. Slightly underwhelming to say the least, since we couldn't venture into the open ocean or the cliff sides. Still a nice experience overall, I haven't been on a cruise in many years.

We joined a dolphin-watching cruise in Jervis Bay and while we didn’t spot any dolphins during the actual cruise, we were lucky to see one near the jetty just before boarding—which was still a nice surprise! The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and the boat ride itself was relaxing with beautiful views of the bay. Even without many dolphins, it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon on the water. Would definitely try again—nature doesn’t always follow the schedule!

Crew is amazing and the tour was great. The crew are so caring, constantly asking how their guests are and ensuring that they could see the dolphins swimming near the boat. The tour purposefully and respectfully finds and follows the dolphins to allow everyone a great experience. We had such a good time that we also booked the whale watching tour a few days later. Thanks for having us !! We will be back for more.

Nice and Informative. Dolphin cruise will show you dolphin while keeping knowledge of marine life to know when and how the dolphins will come or interact. Nice crew and a good experience overall.

Amazing experience to be had. Hamish and crew were great. We left it, a bit late in the Whale season to see a lot of Whales but Hamish pulled it off. Not a fantastic view of the Whales as they kept moving under the water. But we all got the bonus of seeing Dolphins 🐬 Will definitely be back and try again. 👍

Had a good time & spotted some dolphins. Went down to the coast for days trip and weather was perfect. Only slight concern is to reconsider if you have toddlers. Noticed few of them getting restless as the cruise is longer than an hour.

Had the most fantastic dolphin watch trip. We saw 20+ dolphins including a really tiny young one - so cute! The skipper and crew were awesome and we were viewing dolphins for most of the 90 minutes. JB is indeed a special place and I would highly recommend this cruise to everyone.

A dolphin cruise without dolphins....I understand that they are animals and can't be persuaded to show up, but would've been nice if they mentioned where the dolphins could show up, and maybe wait a minute. No apologies or any type of compensation for not seeing dolphins. Made even worse with no one attending the consestion stand

A hidden gem! Despite the steep steps and long walk to reach the bottom, it’s worth the effort. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves waterfalls.

Lovely waterfall, tough climb down and up again but worth it in my opinion. We did it with 2x 9 year olds, 2x 12 year Olds with some complaints but not too bad. Allow more time than they say for the walk if you're old or with kids.

Awesome trek to the bottom of fairy bower falls today , great spot

Absolutely beautiful falls and worth the walk. The view from the viewing platform over the falls is breathtaking. Lots of interesting vegetation (ferns, flowering shrubs, wattle) and bird life in the area. Highly recommended. Notes - You need to park at the specific Fairy Bower Falls Carpark to have the shortest possible walk down to the falls. We parked at the separate carpark for the Fairy Bower Falls Walk. This is also a very nice walk - we saw two big waterfalls on the way down - but quite a bit harder. Either way the walk is steep (rocks, stone steps, actual stairs) and slippery in places especially after rain. You will need to cross a wide but shallow stream to get to the falls lookout. We did not walk all the way to the bottom of the falls so can't comment on what that section of the walk is like. Wear hiking boots and sensible clothing and bring a water bottle.

Around 600m hike. The route is pretty steep & rough but well worth it.

Beautiful trail, a bit wet, mossy and muddy in some sections. I would recommend walking poles. I didn’t see anyone else on the track. I allowed 2.5 hours and stopped along the way to just watch. I saw a peacock which was stunning. I wish I took my bathers for an ice plunge in the pool at the falls.

Beautiful hike. Lots of steps. I didn’t go the last leg down because I had people waiting for me. The slope is sometimes steep. Be prepared to use your hands !
