Wow what an excellent place, full of lovely healthy, healing products. We got a great tasting full of helpful information. Can highly recommend this place and everything is locally grown and fresh. Will definitely be back to but even more yummy products. Thanks.

Great local products! We found Pepo farms while on our trip to Bright a few years ago. Since then, we have loved their pumpkin seed oil so much, we have taken it to Guatemala, Chile and Spain as presents to our family. They have all loved it! We also love the chocolate covered walnuts with turmeric and their new macadamia oil. Not the cheapest but the quality is soo worth it. We stop on our way to bright every time we get a chance, but have ordered online many times. We are loyal customers and, highly recommend their products.
Lis C — Google review
We stopped off here while riding the rail trail and were glad we did. We both enjoyed tasting the products - really friendly spot to stop. Our favourites were the lightly salted pumpkin seeds, the chocolate coated ones, the turmeric chocolate walnuts and the pecan oil. Really delicious - will definitely be ordering more online.
Sue M — Google review
Loved the products and the way of survey. Much helpful for knowing nutritional values.. variety of products even cold press oil is amazing... We were informed about and tested all the seeds and oil products too.. ample space for sitting and car park too...
Rucha K — Google review
Adorable little shop to visit! The girl who gave us a rundown of the products was friendly and knowledgeable. We bought the dark chocolate covered pumpkin seeds. Would recommend if you’re in the area 🎃🌱
Rosalyn C — Google review
Loved this shop with a huge variety of products including pumpkin seeds in various flavours, walnut products, oils, Jams, sauces. They have tastings of their products with lovely staff providing detailed information on their products. Whilst there was no access to the farm during our visit, they had a delightful little pumpkin and sunflower garden just across the road that people could visit. Overall a very good experience and recommended if you are in Myrtleford or surrounds!!
Glahss — Google review
Great place! The staff are great. We just turned up unannounced, and they were so welcoming, despite having a huge tour group they still found time to give us a tasting session and explain everything about what they do. All the seeds and oils are so tasty, you’ll come away with lots of treats. Highly recommend.
Christopher H — Google review
Great pit stop with the family. Sun flowers are so pretty and there is a wide variety of oils, seeds and gifts to buy for loved ones. The owners are super passionate about what they do and have so much information to share. There is a tasting tour of there products, which are delicious! Thanks again for such an insightful and beautiful visit.

Old Beechworth Gaol, located on Ford Street, is part of the impressive Justice Precinct listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The site was originally a government camp and later became a police reserve in 1856. Constructed of local honey-colored granite, the complex includes several historic buildings such as the former Telegraph Office, Court House, Police Station, Chinese Protectors Office, and Gold Wardens Office.
The Gaol tour in Beechworth is definitely worth a visit! Our tour guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. It was fascinating to hear the stories of those imprisoned there, especially the infamous Ned Kelly and his gang. The history and stories brought the place to life in such an engaging way. If you’re visiting Beechworth, this tour should be at the top of your list! Highly recommended!

Had an awesome time at the Old Beechworth Gaol tour! Graham was a great guide and really knew his stuff/made it super interesting. Loved the Kelly family stories, but also learned heaps about the gaol’s history. Wish there was an opportunity to keep looking after the tour.

We took the kids to the Beechworth Gaol during the school holidays. The tour was well priced and it was easy to book online. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of the questions from the group. We highly recommend the tour for all ages. It's a great part of the local history.

fantastic old goal...guided tours run almost every hour and is the only way to checkout the inside of the prison something to remember ...first tour at 10am .. HM Prison Beechworth was built on the site of Beechworth's first stockade. It was designed by Victoria's Public Works Department and constructed using local granite that was quarried with prison labour... Beechworth was one of nine panopticon prisons built in Victoria. Construction began in 1857 and the prison opened in 1860, though was incomplete and only had single cells for 36 prisoners. The capacity doubled when the building was completed in 1864. Beechworth initially housed male and female prisoners. Female prisoners were assigned washing and needlework for government departments. Between 1865 and 1881, eight executions were carried out at the prison.Ned Kelly served six months at the prison in 1870-71 for assault. He was again held there during his committal trial for murder in 1880. Kelly's mother, Ellen and two associates of the Kelly family also served sentences at the prison the late 1870s for the attempted murder of Constable Alexander Fitzpatrick. Twenty suspected sympathisers of Kelly were held in 1879 in an attempt to limit support to the Kelly gang. The prison's iron gates were installed due to fears there may be attempts to break the sympathisers out of the prison.

What a great tour! Very informative and fascinating to know the history. Our guide Peter was fantastic. I could have listened to him talk for hours. If only those walls could talk, we’d know so much more. Definitely a place worth visiting when coming to Beechworth!
Elyce L — Google review
Love the hands-on experience of visiting the jail 💗 was a bit cold so we got some food at the cafe and got a very informative book about the prison’s history from the cafe too 📚Love it, will definitely come back next year!!!
Chloe Z — Google review
The tour guide was awesome, knew his stuff and history and loved telling the story. Gail only closed in the early 2000s so some infamous people looked up here. Kelly History deep with his Mum locked up for a few years.
Andrew N — Google review
Beechworth Gaol had not only the Kelly & gang incarcerated here but also Kelly's mentor & tutor - the "gentlemen" Bushranger Harry Power. Somehow Harry Power's tales are subsumed by Ned Kelly's but it is just as interesting. Other inmates here included a whole bunch of modern day tax evaders & Melbourne's infamous underbelly crims. The newer additions include the conjugal visits area in the gaolers yard as you make your way inside on the right & a swimming pool area - gated off on the left. I expected the Gaol to be bigger but it is small with about 110 to 123 inmates capacity. There is the heritage Kelly era wing, the newer ones plus the Hangman's room & the Noose. A group of us - pre-purchased online tix for the 10 am tour Sun 23 Feb recently. A huge crowd of almost 40. The next tour only had a handful - so perhaps this is a better timeslot. Free parking in front of entry gates & also side street. There is a Cafe Truck in the entry yard too & a nice reception re-purposed area & toilets inside before tour starts. Tour ran for 45 mins & Guide thankfully used audio speaker. Typical Oz humour delivered with full on ocker tones- which you wonder if overseas visitors understood. Exercise yard - with the metal mirror (you will find out why) is also the site of 1800s hard labour (breaking granite & carting it), the chain gang tales all made for the grim reality not only the gold rush lawless period but also the 20th century penitentiary system. You get more of the blood & gore penitentiary stories under the pentagonal wooden roofed & similar shaped guard room inside. The replica Kelly gang armour suite is lined up here (by this time it is an oft repeated sight for us having started the Kelly trail at Glenrowan.). For dedicated Ned Kelly & Harry Power stories - do the Ned Kelly Trail tour run by the Visitor's Centre. Beats me how the confined cells & dire deeds of yore can be re-purposed into arts, entertainment & hospitality...Takes it beyond the "dark" tourism into the 21st century enlightenment I suppose. One way of maintaining historical sites like this for future generations but the essence of harsh reality of colonial past would be lost surely. Whatever works to make it a viable site. Pentridge Prison is already a popular re-purposed hub but ..er..rrr..rr - it ain't for me.

Beechworth Historic Court House, situated on Ford Street, is an integral part of the Justice Precinct. Dating back to 1858, this impressive building complex was constructed with local honey-colored granite and includes several historic structures such as the former Telegraph Office, Police Station, Chinese Protectors Office, and Gold Wardens Office. Today, it stands as a museum showcasing Beechworth's rich history including its involvement in gold mining and World War II.
A great historic precinct with so much history. We did the tour of the courthouse for $10 per adult. Very good value with a captioned presentation on the walls going through 4 cases heard in the courthouse. After the presentation you are free to wonder the rooms and even dress in judges garb if desired. Natasha was our guide who was very knowledgeable and spoke in a clear voice. Well worth visiting particularly if you want to learn more about Ned Kelly and his associates. The law library is also very impressive.

the whole historic zone in Beechworth is amazing ..courthouse ...telegraph station .. gold wardens house ...gold office ..along with the old gaol absolutely amazing must see when in the Beechworth area ...all dating back to 1850s to 1860s build during the Beechworth Gold rush period

We did the courthouse guided tour. It was worth the small fee, lots of interesting information and you could look at how courts were conducted during the 19th century. It's a beautiful old building and well worth preserving, it's our history.

Including the tour, guide, experience, grounds, exhibitions, the volunteers were incredibly knowledgeable staff & it’s excellent for all ages. Highly recommend 🙏❤️

Excellent, informative and balanced view of Ned's story within the context of the regional Victorian court system of the time. Three projectors display the story hugely magnified across the interior courtroom walls so you can truly be immersed in the history of the court building. Side rooms include the judge's chamber (where you can try on legal wigs and robes) and a magnificent law library full of ancient volumes. Very informative and helpful guide Mal answered all my questions and was very well-versed on the subject. A must for fans of Beechworth, legal and goldfields era history!
Jane T — Google review
If you want experience the deeper history of Beechworth, then the Court house is a great place to start. Beechworth has an amazing number of little places you can take the kids or yourself to go and have a visit to learn about Beechworth. The court House is of course famous for its association with Ned Kelly, but it also is an amazing place to come and see a historic building, built in 1958 and was a working courthouse right up to 1989, this courthouse has been an interesting and integral part of the community just as much as the Beechworth Goal Has. I love how you can almost access nearly every room of the courthouse minus the lady's balcony and a storeroom. But the Library happened to be our favourite room, it was filled with old law books and just had that nostalgic feel about it, the kids loved the library and the holding cells. (They used to have an audio spill that used to play but that feature was not there anymore. It did make for a great way to experience the court room.) The kids love being able to explore and sit where the judge and lawyers would sit and they did a little court play of their own. It was cheap to get in costing us a family of 6 $10. you could pay a bit extra for a guided tour which would probably have been great. There were souvenirs you could purchase for reasonable prices. Accessibility: The courthouse is wheelchair friendly, and you can access most of the courthouse bar the cells I believe. The staff are welcoming and encourage all to come and take part in the history of Beechworth. Great place for kids and anyone to come and visit.
Sara H — Google review
This place is fantastic! Cheap to visit. The court house is in original condition as it was on the last day is was used. Lots of interesting information to read. Ned Kellys trial began here in August 1880 before it was transferred to Melbourne. Don’t forget to go around the rear of the building where one of the old stable buildings still stand. Also the old stone lock up with would be terrible to be locked up in. The whole area is so interesting and next door is the telegraph office to visit as well.

With the visit when exploring the area. Beautiful views of the falls from the lookout point! Nice picnic area with WCs available. Due to injury we couldn’t explore as much as we would have liked, but there were lots of people walking around the rocks and falls below.

Easy walk to the fall from the parking. The view is spectacular and the breeze makes the heat go away. The rocks underneath the water are slippery but with proper shoes it is not too dangerous. A good destination for a day trip, with friends and family or solo trip.

Bruno was our host and he’s expertise in hospitality is a fine art. The food was perfect in portion size for sharing and highly recommend the octopus, for mains we had the lamb which was melt in your mouth delicious. The views overlooking the mountains surrounding the valley are so picturesque. Definitely on a return to this welcoming atmosphere.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, on the grand final long weekend, with no booking. After some wine tasting with John we were seated at an amazing table overlooking the winery. The food was absolutely fantastic. ALL the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. And their wines are delicious. We will definitely be going back when we are in the area again!! Chris & Queenie.

What a wonderful lunch we had here yesterday. The staff are absolutely delightful! Thank you for my Italian lessons and also the great wine advice from John. Our gluten free choices were great food was tasty and plentiful and the price of the wines was such good value in the restaurant. What a pleasant surprise not to be charged more than the cellar door price! Great views great ambience could not recommend more highly we certainly will be back!

Had a beautiful birthday lunch. Gorgeous location, delicious food, great service. The honey carrots are almost as good as my nonnas! Bruno look after us excellently. He was attentive and welcoming without being over the top. Didn't feel rushed at all, which can sometimes happen in busier restaurants. Not here! It was absolutely busy, but felt relaxed. Definitely worth a visit, much more relaxed atmosphere than most of the vineyards around here, but still classically beautiful and wonderful ambience.

An absolutely wonderful experience at Chrismont Cellar Door, Restaurant! The food and wines were truly amazing – a perfect showcase of Italian flavours paired beautifully with their elegant wines. I had the privilege of being looked after by Jo, the friendly and lovely owner, who made the visit extra special by sharing the story behind their wines. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality alongside such exceptional food and wine. When my parents said they wanted to go to Chrismont's to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary - we all said sure. What an absolutely delightful afternoon! High tea at Pizzini Winery was a delight from both a culinary and social perspective. Beautiful surroundings, friendly, attentive, and welcoming staff, delicious food, and beautiful wines. Dietary restrictions were not an issue; they just need prior notice. If you are in the King Valley do yourself a favour and check out Pizzini Wines and the different experiences they offer.

Always have a fantastic experience here. The wines are excellent with a wide range to suit all tastes and budgets. Staff are so friendly and helpful, there's a genuine family feel to the winery. The setting is beautiful too. An excellent quick stop on your road trip or longer visit if you're staying in the area.

Pizzini wines were great, providing a nice introduction to the Italian wines the region produces. We went during winter and Pizzini were one of the few places open on the weekday we went. Special shout out to Giacomo, our amazing sommelier, who happily answered all our questions - sharing his expertise from his extensive study and practical experience, whilst talking us through the tasting. Really great spot, highly recommend Pizzini wines if you visit King Valley.
Izzy S — Google review
Had the pleasure to experience a wine tasting with Anthony and Duncan. I not only loved the wines (particularly the brachetto and riesling), but the knowledge, stories, and recommendations to pair for my upcoming dinner parties was stellar! Loved it and will be back!

Our second stop at the King Valley region was at Pizini Wines ~ Italian at heart inspired where we were warmly greeted by Karen; Mario and Isabelle. Seated in such a warm and welcoming environment, Isabelle presented us with some tasters olives; caramel popcorn; chilli popcorn and bread sticks and presented us with the wine tasting experience!! Isabelle was extremely pleasant, accomodating and provided alternatives for the individual pallet . We enjoyed hearing about the growth of the Pizzini family, their passion and commitments to their winemaking dream. The surroundings were nice to. We were lucky to also have a friendly chat with owner Fred and hear about his experience and innovative ways of continuing business during the pandemic. We truly enjoyed our experience at pizzini. Purchased a few bottles of wine at the end and couldn’t resist buying the caramel popcorn + chilli popcorn ~ thanks for the lovely hospitality and looking forward to returning and trying out the cooking school.

Nestled in a complex of shops, the Milawa Cheese Company is housed in a former butter factory and has become a popular tourist destination. Visitors can sample an array of cheeses at the cheese shop, enjoy local wines at the cellar door, and indulge in delectable treats at the lovely café. The company's success showcases how a cheese factory can transform into an enticing stop for travelers.
It’s a very beautiful place- cheese tasting, cafe, drinks, a lot of sitting area to enjoy under the shade. Recommended! Bought some cheese after trial~ white tea is great ( lychee, rose) for having there or taking away. Ginger cookies are the best one I’ve ever had so far- less spicy and crunchier. Coffee is good.
Ashly Y — Google review
Pretty little cafe with a cheese shop next door offering free cheese tasting. However the brie we bought was already moldy and the other one was nothing like what was offered at the tasting. Spent $15 for a small slice of brie that went straight into the bin. Reading other reviews it would seem that people have a similar experience with out of date cheese. Very disappointing and would not recommend to anyone!
Katherine L — Google review
There’s a bakery, a cheese shop, and a restaurant here. You can sit outside on the lawn under the trees, and the shop provides picnic mats for customers who purchase something. Just watch out for the shop’s cats sneaking through the door! The cheese shop offers tastings in the morning, around 9:00–10:30 AM, with more than 10 varieties to try. I especially liked the buffalo milk cheese and the King Rover Gold Cheese, which are the shop’s specialties. They’re soft, mildly salty, and have a lovely smoky aroma.
Lunga R — Google review
What's not to like about this place? Awesome service and free cheese tasting experience ... Borrow a blanket, cheese platter and knife ... get your favourite cheese and some wines on the lawn ... 👌👌👌
Jeffrie T — Google review
So many cheeses, lots of cheese related items, chutneys, preserves and pickles. We had a free cheese tasting, the staff were so very friendly and entertaining. Very knowledgeable about the cheese too. Thank-you for a lovely experience. My two favourite cheeses of the few we purchased were the Cooper and the David Brown.
Leigh S — Google review
Unfortunately, the King River Gold cheese we purchased was a huge let-down — mold was clearly visible on many parts of it, it had a strong unpleasant smell, and the surface was slimy. Straight into the bin it went, along with the $15 we paid for it. Judging by other reviews, this isn’t an isolated case, with many mentioning out-of-date products. Very disappointing and would not recommend to anyone
Mehrnoosh S — Google review
After trying their cheeses at the Pinot X Mold festival this year, when we saw the sign for the factory whilst driving down the Hume, we had to stop in. This place is dangerous as all their cheeses are delicious and we ended up spending an ungodly amount on cheese. The cafe seems like a great place to go with a group on the weekend.
Curtis H — Google review
Cheeses Christ this place is heavenly. We had a cheese tasting and our cheese guide Anna blew us away sampling the 12 cheese varieties on offer. We purchased a bag full of amazing Aussie cheeses and now die happy having tasted these delights.

Amazing food and nice ambiance. Stopped by here on our way to Wangaratta for a quick bite. We had to come back the next day for lunch, that’s how we loved the food! The wines are exquisite and good value. Staff are great - good customer service and very friendly.

As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love working at Brown Brothers Winery! I've had the privilege of photographing weddings here in all weather conditions - from intimate small ceremonies to big celebrations - and each and everyone has been absolutely breathtaking. What makes this venue truly special is that you can feel that warmth and passion in everything they do. Everyone always goes above and beyond - they're genuinely passionate about good food, excellent wine, and creating one heck of a celebration! This venue truly shines no matter what. Rain or shine, I can always find the perfect backdrop, and the surroundings are always beautifully maintained. Their attention to detail and genuine care for each couple is incredible. You can tell they truly love what they do, and that passion makes every wedding feel so special. I can't recommend Brown Brothers Winery highly enough - it's consistently one of my favourite venues to work at. Highly recommend, Rachael Emmily

We absolutely adored our visit to Brown Brothers planned by Sarah who put together a wonderful itinerary for us! The setting is beautiful and the cellar door is so inviting with the open fire, historical displays, and use of wine barrels to decorate the space. We had the most amazing tasting & tour experience at the cellar door hosted by Jacob who was fabulous at teaching us all about the different wines and how they’re made in a way that was fun, informative, and relatable as someone who enjoys wine but isn’t overly knowledgeable on the subject. He tailored the tasting to our individual preferences and there wasn’t one I didn’t like. We ended up buying many bottles both for ourselves and as gifts after discovering some new favourites. We also had the 5 course degustation lunch in the winery restaurant which was spectacular. Each course consisted of multiple elements that worked in perfect harmony and were utterly delicious, especially when paired with the matching wines. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. Overall I would highly recommend visiting even if it just for a tasting, but definitely check out the range of extra experiences they offer too, there’s definitely more we plan to do too. We’re already planning a return visit for next year as we loved the Milawa region and this winery was definitely the highlight of our trip.

We had a wonderful experience with Milawa Luxe Escape, a collaboration of Brown Brothers and Church Lane Accommodation this weekend. The Church Lane Accommodation was beautiful, quiet and private. At Brown Brothers, we were served the Slow Lunch by Henry and it was such a wholesome experience. We do a lot of rushed meals, so having a slow lunch with beautifully complimenting wines got us to relish the efforts involved. The cheese, cured meats and the accompaniments we received to take with us was lovely too. We brought the 2 matching wines before heading back. The next day we had a slow start, enjoying the Church Lane Accommodation, before going to the Wine Tour and Taste at Brown Brothers’. Rosa was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable in guiding us through our tasting, with great placement to help us take better note of the differences and enjoying the complexities of well made wine. We purchased more wine that we selected from the tasting, that we wanted to share with friends and family. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our weekend in Milawa, Brown Brothers collaboration with Church Lane Accommodation - Luxe Escape. We are especially grateful to the people that made our experience wonderful - Sam, Colin, Henry and Rosa.

We visited here during a nice little day out and had the degustation for lunch, it was a really nice experience and the winery is very pretty, especially with great weather like we had on our visit. The two staff members ( 1 male & 1 female ) who took care of our table were very lovely and accommodating and we received a lovely gift for a recent special occasion which was a very kind finish to our lunch. I really appreciated the extra effort put into accommodating for my nut allergy, I was served my own servings seperate to the others which made me feel very comfortable and safe. Lovely place to visit.

THANKYOU! We recently visited Brown Brothers Winery where I organised a surprise proposal. The team at Brown Brothers were absolutely amazing helped organise photographers, decor and made sure all the staff were in on the surprise. It couldn't have gone better! A special thank you to Dominic and Taylor, who went above and beyond to make our day so memorable and accommodated us so well. The venue is stunning, the atmosphere is incredible, and the food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend visiting Once again thankyou for making our day so special and one we'll never forget!

Lots of wine styles. Pick 5 for tasting for a fee. Talk nicely and you'll probably get one or two others to taste. Standing and seating tasting. Restaurant. Indoor and outdoor shaded seating. Bean bags in the garden. Popular for dressed up hens parties.

I have had the best day. My birthday and i felt so special. Brown Bros Milawa has always been a favoured destination for me but today, the best. The staff, the food, the wine...nothing was wrong. Everything was ideal: good food, good wine and great service. Service staff are what sells a venue and the staff here today were so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. My kind of people. I liked every bit of of the menu and recommend them to everybody. Cheers and thanks for helping to make my day so special.

Wineries & Vineyards
Campbells Wines, with over 146 years of experience in Rutherglen, is a family-owned winery that prides itself on passion and producing modern, characteristic wines. The fifth-generation winemaker, Bill Chambers, embodies the rich history of the region and the dedication to continuing the family's winemaking traditions. The hands-on approach and unwavering commitment to quality are evident in their range of wines.
I had the pleasure of spending a relaxing afternoon at the Sunset Drinks event held at Campbells Wines, accompanied by some of my family members. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, we were treated to a truly memorable experience. We started off by savoring a glass of Campbells' exquisite wine, each sip a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into their winemaking process. The ambiance was further elevated by the mouth-watering meal prepared by the exceptionally talented Chef Nick Gardener from Sticks Catering, who also happens to be the assistant winemaker at Campbells Wines. @chefnickgardner. The culinary delight included succulent chicken cooked in sage butter, perfectly paired with pearl couscous that added a delightful texture. The dish also featured charred corn, heirloom tomatoes bursting with flavor, and a smooth corn cream, all topped with the crispy, savory goodness of chorizo crumbs. To add a refreshing twist, the plate was finished with a pickled fennel and saffron salad, bringing together a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on the palate. As we indulged in this culinary masterpiece, our senses were further enchanted by a gifted local musician Patrick Russell whose repertoire included a selection of timeless classics. Patrick provided the perfect soundtrack to our evening creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere as the sun set, casting a golden glow over the vineyard.

Excellent wines, excellent staff and service and wonderful grounds. We stumbled across this winery and decided to visit based on the great reviews. Safe to say it didn’t disappoint and we will definitely be back. The cheese boards also looked amazing!!!

Visited Cambells Wines and had an unforgettable experience. The main highlight, of course, was their outstanding wine — an incredible selection, especially the reds, full of richness and character. We also enjoyed a beautifully prepared cheese and meat platter, rich in variety and flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with warm and professional service. A truly special place for wine lovers!

Campbell's Wines is set in stunning gardens on the edge of Rutherglen. The cellar door offers complimentary tastings, a wine club, and local produce. Blended wines represent something unique. For an earthy experience meander through the barrels or sit by the fireplace in Winter.

The estate features a crenellated folly surrounded by formal English gardens and offers an extensive selection of wines, including the renowned museum-class muscat made from 100-year-old liqueur.
Had amazing time here. The grounds are stunning. The tour of the cellars and wine tasting were excellent. Lunch at Kin restaurant was as a highlight

Lovely Winnery. Classic buildings and a super restaurant. We stopped by for a Pizza Lunch in the ordinary restaurant, which was great, nice environment and tasty food at a fair price. But there is a premium full service restaurant as well for special occasions. 😎👍👍👍👍

All Saints Estate is a classic winery experience with a modern twist. Cellar door Tastings are $15 per person, or you can enjoy a whole glass in the restaurant for roughly the same. There's an enticing menu inspired by local produce. Picnicing is encouraged in the formal gardens. There's an enticing line up of entertainment if you want to make a weekend of it. A destination worth seeking out.
Donna M — Google review
I had a terrible experience here. There are so many other wineries in the area that could be recommended before All Saints. I popped in to purchase a Mother's Day bottle. I purchased a single, mid-range bottle from the cellar door. The disdain and indifference my purchase was shown left a very sour taste. I stood there, awkwardly waiting to pay, for an eternity, while the server chatted with a customer about maybe joining the wine club. Every other winery I attended in Rutherglen and surrounds was a warm and endearing experience.

The distillery offers an exciting opportunity for visitors to explore and sample their signature products. Love the chocolate 🍫😋😍 Stunning Australian Whisky distillery and wonderful chocolate shop. They make their own chocolates. Great place for coffee and chocolate. There are tours on also, so check it out. Breakfast and lunch are served daily in a beautiful location in the centre of the building. Parking under the solar panels, great shade for your vehicles 😉 Will go back every time I head to Corowa 👍👍👍

A great surprise find on our road trip. Not listed on attractions so someone needs to rectify that for sure. A fantastic tasting of their whiskies. Great range of flavours. Cafe available as well as chocolate shop. A big venue available for functions.

We visited Corowa Distilling Co. as a large group for lunch, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was fantastic - friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating for our group size. The food was absolutely delicious. And of course, the highlight for many of us was the whisky - smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. Highly recommend a visit whether you’re into great food, great drinks, or both!

Had brekkie this morning at Corowa Distillery – absolutely outstanding. The eggs Benedict was bang on: rich hollandaise, perfectly poached eggs, and I added a side of halloumi and chorizo that really hit the spot. Service was spot-on – friendly, fast, and welcoming. The setting inside the old Flour Mill is packed with history and charm, and the atmosphere is super relaxed. On top of that, they’re making some bloody good whisky – well worth a try while you’re there. Top-notch food, cracking whisky, and a brilliant place to kick back. Can’t wait to come back for round two!

We showed up late, and the guy gave us a whiskey tasting abd he didbt have to, too many! Whiskeys actually very good, abd right up there with the best in the world in my humble opinion. I havent been that impressed with some of the highly touted Australian whiskies, but these guys seriously know what they are doing. A fantastic venue, will definitely do the tour next time. Do yourself a big favour and dont miss this if youre in Corowa, the towns best attraction by a long way

A warm welcome and a lovely meal. We visited for lunch on a cold Sunday. It was a quiet day but we were welcomed by friendly staff and a warmed by a crackling fire. The menu offered something for all tastes plus a specials board. We both had a chicken parmigiana with salad and chips. Chicken parmigiana was excellent, the salad fresh and well dressed but the home made chips were a knockout! The hotel has retained the feeling of being the local hotel and this was evident from discussions with patrons. The hotel is unpretentious with good food and friendly vibes. We will be back in the near future.

The Ned Kelly Museum & Homestead in Glenrowan is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. The museum offers an immersive experience into the life of the infamous outlaw, showcasing interpretative panels, original pictures, attire, and belongings of the Kelly family. Visitors can explore a replica home on the property and engage with knowledgeable owners who are passionate about sharing their insights.
The history contained in the museum is beyond amazing. We were lucky enough to call in when it was quieter and the owner regaled us with his knowledge of all things Ned - he obviously loves the history of the event/s and it made our visit even more enjoyable! We met Howard (90 year old cockatoo) and his friend Dorothy (the younger woman) which was a bit of fun too. Highly recommend for all ages

Our first trip to Mansfield and BIG craft brewery fans, we didn't miss the opportunity to pay a visit to Social Bandit. Situated a 5 minute drive outside of town, we may well have walked had it not being pouring with rain. Arriving at 7pm, we were the only two people for a while until 3 other couples arrived. Beer was good as was the music selection which kept us entertained with guessing the band names and year. Food selection was limited with the usual offerings for craft breweries of wood fired pizza, but was tasty enough. Closing at 9pm, we spent a pleasant enough 2 hours.

Stumbled upon this gem on our way back from the snow, not wanting to battle the crowds at the local town pubs. Such a great environment, great staff and proprietor, and having craft beers to suit a variety of tastes and seasons and displaying the product and method is a nice touch. The playlist was fire, too!

My older brother and I were in Mansfield to repair one of our ancestors' grave stone and site from 1870. As our ancestors, the Withers family, were one of the original founding families of Mansfield, we went to the visitors centre to see the old photos on display in search of photos we don't have of pur ancestors. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back to do more work at the cemetery. Mansfield is an awesome town. The locals people and businesses are friendly and welcoming. We hope you visit soon.

My usual first stop in any regional town which has an info centre. Almost all have knowledgeable & super helpful, friendly staff. But not this one. The elderly lady had a supercilious unpersonable attitude & just waved towards the brochures display stating "you will find it there". I did not really - as I all I wanted to know was what I could do for just an overnight stay. Google came to my aid later. My 4 stars is for this lovely centre with its interesting & well presented exhibits. The Man from Snowy River memorabilia is excellent & a surprise find. Everything else makes this a mini pseudo art gallery cum museum worth a stop as you enter the township from Bonnie Doon direction. The Great Rail bike & walking Trail passes through 100 metres away & historical society is a stone's throw neaeby. Plenty of parking available.

Did not expect a smaller regional art gallery to have a varied & great selection of Australian artworks. Free entry! The recent Heide group featuring Sidney Nolan Ned Kelly series & Albert Tucker was really good as was the fire themed artworks by other artists. The older Heidelbeg impressionist paintings in the other smaller space at the back was also excellent. Plenty of free parking at main open entrance on Midland Highway. Google did not get this right & I parked further out. Enjoyed our lunch at the onsite Cafe with picturesque lake views & the single jet fountain. Clean toilets inside. Lovely location within the Benalla Botanical Gardens. The garden is not very big but you can do a circuit lake walk to get a good workout. Weary Dunlop sculpture is located here & there is a mini rose garden with some late summer blooms. A great place to stop, chill & stretch our legs for a few hours on our way to Glenrowan & then Beechworth - driving north from Melbourne.

Could we have asked for a more incredible experience with the Rich Glen team? Absolutely not! From start to finish, everything was flawless. Supporting a local supplier that delivers the highest quality is such a privilege, and we are absolutely thrilled with our hamper. The hamper itself was packed to the brim with goodness—so much so that some joked about its weight. First-world problems, right? The custom packaging and labels were beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully considered. And the presentation? Simply stunning. Not to mention, everything tastes soooo delicious. Byramine Homestead & Brewery

Brewery
Sights & Landmarks
Byramine Homestead & Brewery is steeped in history, dating back to 1842 when it was built by Hamilton Hume as a refuge for his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hume and her children after a tragic event. This unique homestead features distinctive octagonal rooms designed for defense and showcases period decorations that transport visitors back in time. Surrounding the homestead is an expansive vegetable garden, adding to its charm.
We stopped in here to check out the beer and stayed for a delicious lunch. They say their meals are from local seasonal produce, it certainly was fresh and tasty. We had vegetable quiche and fish and ships from the specials board. Neither disappointed, this was washed down with an excellent Byramine pale ale. They have a full range of Byramine beers and ciders which you can sample with a flyte. This was a great little find, all felt very original, and was very relaxing to sit out in the garden area under the trees with a cold beer. 👍👍👍👍👍

I really enjoyed looking around the old homestead. It's so important that we retain these little gems of history. And.... it's supposed to be haunted although I didn't see any signs of ghosts 👻
Sarah S — Google review
What a beautiful afternoon we spent under a shady tree, enjoying a ploughman's lunch, a beer or two and a local white wine. The owners are so friendly and their family is connected to the Kelly's...owners of the land and homestead. The carefully laid out tables/chairs, around the property, offer spots to enjoy, whether for a couple, family, small group gathering. One could easily have an event held there, and if inclement weather, there is an event space inside the cafe/bar at the back. Toilets are basic and separate to the Cafe but easily accessible. Not so sure about disabled toilets. Plenty of parking on dirt at the front of the homestead. There is a separate kitchen which would be the original and worth a peak to get a glimpse of what it would be like back in the day. Near the toilets and very old tree, there is access to the cellar area - a good hiding spot when under attack from bushranger etc. Such a great asset for everyone visiting Yarrawonga and surrounds. A big thumbs up from us. 👍

A great piece of history and well worth the visit if you’re interested in the Hume & Hovell story. The building is classified “A” to be preserved at all cost ….hmmmm….that message seems to have been lost. The place definitely needs some TLC. The brewery was a relaxing break in the garden . Well worth the visit & tour. A shot sample of beer is included in the ticket entry.
Dog M — Google review
Sorry this is not an review of the beautiful old homestead itself. We never got to that. After our brunch in the brewery we were completely incapable of bipedal locomotion. The other half loves a brew, and I will admit to being keen to try their Autumn deal which was a large ploughman’s platter and two beers/wines. However his lordship wanted to have the pie. So rather than miss out on my ploughman’s platter altogether I chose to have the small platter. Just me. On my own. Solo. It really could have fed two. The ladies all insisted they’d give me a takeaway container, but I gave it a good shake! The variety of goodies on the plate was stunning, with some amazing local produce. And us townies forget the joy of an egg produced by a happy chook! The three ladies on deck were spectacular. Without exception happy, smiling and amenable without being in your face. They were also very knowledgeable about the region. It was a lovely peaceful place to dine, and I recommend it unreservedly. Oh, and the other half said the pie was impressive also!
Kitty K — Google review
Nice place with tranquil surroundings. Good selection of beers and ciders. Ploughman's player was generous but it seemed like everything on it except the chutney could be bought from the supermarket.
Troy K — Google review
While we did not take the tour of the Homestead we enjoyed beer tasting and a bite to eat. We selected 6 ciders and beers to taste served in 200ml glasses and a Ploughmans platter to share. The tasting room is spacious yet cozy with a wood fire burning. We enjoyed a leisurely visit there and I'd love to go back

Lovely historic place with very nice food and some interesting homebrews! 😱 Great to wander around the homestead grounds without having to pay for the tour. Seeing 170 year old elm trees was pretty amazing also. Well worth the visit😄👍 Check out my photos! ✅

Tallis Wine is a must-visit destination with exceptional food, service, and ambiance. The beautiful location offers a casual and unpretentious setting for a delightful lunch experience. Guests can enjoy delicious dishes like ham hock soup, sausage rolls, and apple cake served by the efficient and friendly staff. The soft background music, great red wine, and stunning views create an unforgettable atmosphere that's good for the soul.
Beautiful venue with service to match. The wine tasting let’s you sample all of the in stock wines before settling into a cosy table with a grand view over the scenic landscape. The food is homely and delicious with something for everyone. Can’t wait to visit again!

It's lovely sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine and nibbles and looking out over the valley. They have set up chairs and umbrellas on the lawn for couples all also looking out at the view. There are tasting platters of wine where you can taste 3 different types for $10, which is a good idea if you can't decide. You can do the normal wine tasting for free. Numerous dips and the breads are home made and quite good. Friendly attentive staff.

A relaxing place to eat, drink and lay back. Thanks to the friendly staff here, I fell in love with the sweet dessert wine - Dookie Hills Botrytis Riesling 2012. Its combination with the raspberry cake is a heavenly taste.
Mslunalai — Google review
Nice try. Lovely venue but food very ordinary and overpriced. Lasagna and Fettucini for $45? Seriously? Anyone can cook that. Their knowledge of the wines was hopelessly inadequate. Despite charging $20 for a tasting flight but not providing any information. Had to ask to read the back label! Won’t be recommending or going back.
Michael R — Google review
Amazing setting in the Dookie hills. Our groups shared a number of plates and drinks. All were good other than the shared plate. $48 for a handful of nuts, bland dip, average cheese and some cheap crackers was ridiculous. Shouldn't have been more than $28 for what was on it. Highly recommend going as staff, the setting and majority of the food are great but I'd be avoiding the shared plate at all costs...

We have been meaning to visit Tallis for quite a while... we should have come years ago. Tallis’ food, service and ambience is beyond compare. A beautiful location to eat a casual, unpretentious lunch. Glorious ham hock soup, 6 for $6 sausage rolls and delicious apple cake were delivered by extremely efficient and friendly Mieka. Great small family winery, we picked it at random during a long drive and was a happy surprise. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, he gave us a generous complimentary tasting, with some delicious wines. It’s not the fanciest venue you could find, but it’s 5 stars for service and lovely wines.

What a fantastic day. Taste testing some exquisite wines at Monichino Winery. Hearing about the history and the winemaking of the Winery and region. MOVE is a non-profit museum that exhibits vintage vehicles, such as cars, bikes and trucks, along with driving-related items. Recently upgraded, the museum now showcases a red Gullwing at the front which catches visitors' attention. While the truck exhibit in the rear is comprehensive, some visitors may prefer to see more cars. Additionally, MOVE displays other historical artifacts like telephones, radios and clothing. There's also an interesting collection of Furphy foundry products and history on display.
An incredible spot to visit in Shepparton! The collection of vintage cars, trucks, and bicycles is truly impressive, and the costume display and Furphy collections are fantastic bonus that adds extra charm. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the space itself is quite large — it took us about 1.5 to 2 hours to explore everything. Well worth the ticket price and definitely a must-see!
Frank W — Google review
Surprisingly good range of vehicles, very well presented. Fun experience with a decent (albeit slightly pricey) café just next door. The collection changes as well, so one person I went with who's been before was saying that was a cool feature of the place, and I agree. Some great and rare pieces of motor history.
Zachary C — Google review
I have never been to a motor museum where the exhibits were as spotless as these ones. Everything was immaculately presented. There was a good range of cars, trucks, and very thing in between. Would definitely recommend a visit. Well worth the very reasonable ticket entry price.

An unexpected great find in Shepparton. Fascinating history of bikes, cars and trucks. Well worth spending a couple of hours. Also an extensive collection of 200 year old clothing.
Angustrom — Google review
Fantastic museum - something for everyone. I'm not normally into "fashion", but the amazing collection of historic bridal and evening gowns, handicrafts, as well as "what every genteel gentleman would wear", is well worth seeing. Also antique sound equipment, and other interesting items. The boys (young and old) will enjoy the classic cars, trucks, fire engines, not to mention the history of the classic LOCALLY MADE "furphy" with some great historic items on display. And if you don't know what a furphy is, all the more reason to visit and broaden your knowledge of great Australian inventions. And when you've seen it all, pop next door for some lunch at the cafe. Or have a chocolate apple!!

What a spectacular statue for an Australian horse racing icon. The lake behind makes for a beautiful backdrop & there are great cafes around there as well.
Thor W — Google review
The statue is mounted on a dark, polished plinth that bears the name "BLACK CAVIAR" in elegant lettering. The base is surrounded by vibrant greenery and pink flowers, adding a touch of natural beauty to the memorial. The clear blue sky in the background provides a lovely contrast to the dark tones of the statue, making it stand out prominently. The lighting suggests it might be late afternoon or early morning, casting soft shadows that enhance the three-dimensional form of the sculpture.

A Fantastic Family Getaway at Billabong Ranch This was our second time visiting Billabong Ranch, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s the perfect destination for families, with so many activities that kept our kids entertained from start to finish. Their favorite part was the pony rides – a memorable experience that they’re already asking to repeat. The trampolines were also a huge hit! The kids had a blast jumping around and trying flips. It was great to see them so excited, burning off energy while having fun. We also enjoyed some relaxing family golf, which was a perfect way to unwind after all the jumping. Overall, Billabong Ranch offers a mix of fun, adventure, and relaxation that makes it an ideal spot for a family getaway. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We did a 1 hr horse trail ride here on the Easter Sunday and we really liked it. It's bit expensive for what it is, however the girls were very nice and made sure my 7 year old son had a good time. I would recommend this if you are visiting Echuca.

I’m feeling so nostalgic stumbling across this ranch again! My Nan used to bring me here every time we visited Echuca, and I was absolutely obsessed with horses as a kid. I still remember riding Sparks and Sookie like it was yesterday, those horses were everything to me growing up. While I was off riding, my little brother would spend ages playing mini golf, so there was always something for both of us to enjoy. It’s so lovely to see the ranch still going strong and continuing to bring joy to other families. Thank you for being such a core part of my childhood, I’ll always hold those memories close 💛🐴 (Sharing a couple of photos with Sparks and Sookie, taken just over 10 years ago for a bit of nostalgia!)

If you wanted to experience the Murray in a different way, these guys are legends. Found a way to accommodate our 4 day trip last minute, gave us everything we needed and dropped us back to our starting point seamlessly. Really genuine, great people.

We had an EPIC adventure with River Country Adventours on the weekend just gone. It was a Kayaking and Camping weekend but with minimal effort and planning on our behalf - we just turned up with our food, duvet, pillows, camp chairs and clothes! Ash organised everything for us including a large 8 man tent, queen mattress, 2 burner cooker, gas, cutlery, fishing rods, bait and even a portable loo! We arrived to our camp site on the banks of the Goulburn River, left our car and Ash transported us and the canoe to the launch site. 15 leisurely down stream kms later we see our camp along the bank, completing day 1. No other campers around, our own private space with lots of bird life to see. Fishing rods out and a Murray Cod caught with cheese cubes. Murray Cod sent back to river to continue its idealic lifestyle. Camp fire lit, steaks cooked and some cool tunes as the sunset. Next morning after a hearty breakfast on the fire, we head off for 10kms where Ash and his beautiful wife Brooke are waiting for us to take us back to our car. This is a MUST DO - so fun, easy paddling, everything organised for you and not having to pack a tent away was a luxury! Thank you Ash & Brooke - we loved every minute of our experience and can’t wait to come back with like minded friends!

Can’t rate River Country Adventours highly enough. Rob is very knowledgeable and takes excellent care of paddlers - and he’s a great bloke as well. Our trip was very last minute and Rob was able to come up with a great plan at quite short notice. We did a 2-day self-guided paddle on the Goulburn - with Rob providing drop-off and pick-up, all the gear, and a terrific camping location. We saw and heard plenty of bird life - the highlight being an azure kingfisher, and we definitely piqued the interest of plenty of eastern greys. We will be booking some future paddles with Adventours for sure! Thanks Rob!

We had a super friendly service from these guys and they are very supportive if you are not familiar with Kayak and stuff. I'm telling you they are the best guys to meet if you are in Moama/Echuca area and curious to have canoe/Kayak safaris and camping experiences with a great deal. 200% satisfied with the service.

It was such a pleasure to have Rob take my family and I out canoeing and kayaking today. He was easy going, told us the basics we needed to know in order to enjoy our experience and also filled in the conversation with some fantastic historical information about the area and his interesting career and life. I would highly recommend this experience and service. Thanks for taking care of us, Rob.
